The place looks very cosy but I came alone I was sat in the back, next to a noisy bar and kitchen area so I didn't enjoy much of the atmosphere. The Apfelstrudel in vanilla sauce was amazing though! They have no warning it's a cash only venue so I was quite surprised in 2023 🙈

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. While the coffee and food themselves were good, the service was absolutely appalling. The waitress, a middle-aged woman with short hair, treated me and my family with shocking levels of rudeness and racism. We were ignored not once, but twice, and when she finally decided to acknowledge us, her attitude was extremely dismissive and unpleasant. It was clear we were not welcome, and as tourists, this was deeply upsetting and insulting. To make things even worse, after we had paid and were about to leave, she came to our table and started nagging, saying “What is this?” and complaining that she had to clean up after us — as if doing her job was somehow beneath her. The audacity and unprofessionalism were unbelievable. I only wish I had caught her name so I could expose her here in this review she was very, very bad and completely unfit to deal with customers. No amount of good coffee or food can make up for being treated in such a degrading manner. Management should be aware that this waitress’s behavior is destroying their reputation. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place unless they enjoy being insulted and disrespected.

WORST SERVICE EVER. RUDE PERSONNEL! Extremely rude and arrogant waitresses. I am of Asian descent so I will go so far as to say they are racist. The lady who took my order was anything but friendly, just coldly took my order. Then a large woman with brown hair brought our things and as I politely asked her for water for my dog, she turns around and cuts me off giving me the biggest attitude and says “I already KNOW, it’s on the way”. They offer a good range of coffee specialities typical for Vienna and the larger area (say 20 to 30 km) around vienna, home-made ice-cream and candies (watch out for the coffee candy) and a locely range of cakes, including Indianer mit Schlag, a well-known desert nowadays rarely served.

I really liked this Bäckerei. Coffee and radler were very good. The bakery is excellent. The apple strudels are some of the best I have tried in all of Europe. Very nice place with friendly staff and real Austrian atmosphere. If you are in Baden, you should definitely visit.

Comfortable. Timeless. Must try: Their self made Mehlspeisen (Topfenstrudl with vanilla sauce, Himbeertörtchen etc etc). Also excellent Lunch menu! A traditional café led by an Austrian family. Went today and bought 4 sandwiches at 2.80 each. The lettuce had DIRT, freakin dirt , my wife took a bite and fel the damn dirt and sand . The lettuce was practically soaked. The owner or a manager from there couldn't refund my money via pos but instead gave me the equal amount of products back and also had to wait for like 30 mins. Great coffee overall, nice and cozy place. They have these recycled cups that they give you when you order takeaway. They are really nice because you can still use them at other coffee shops as well. The price of the coffee might be a bit high, but i guess it is included also this reusable cup. I think you can also return it and get your money back if you want, but i really like the nice design and the fact that is the perfect size for a normal coffee! Be warned: i have been here multiple times and all the times i paid cash because of machine fault. So prepare cash in advance; hopefully we get to pay by card in the future.
