Churreria
Chocolate cafe

Bonilla a la vista is a family-run business with a long tradition of serving delicious churros and hot chocolate. The churros are described as light, crispy, and not greasy, while the hot chocolate is praised for being thick and not overly sweet. In addition to their signature churros, they also offer tasty potato chips fried in olive oil. Visitors can enjoy a cozy seating area and friendly staff while indulging in this delightful treat.
You know what it is, you know what you get, and by golly does it taste exactly how you imagine. Rainy days and a hot cup of cocoa with churros are a match made in heaven! Pretty delicious, considering how cheap it is
George W — Google review
It's a shame. We couldn't enjoy some churros with chocolate because the waitresses were focused literally kicking out people, apparently they close at 13:00 which is fair (although everywhere on internet they close at 13:30), the way they treated us as well as some other customers it's a total shame.
Sheffy — Google review
Good service & great churros! Lovely coffee & chocolate too.
Ying H — Google review
Churros light and crispy, not greasy. Chocolate very hot and tasty. Cosy seating area, and very friendly staff.
Cameron F — Google review
I went with my young nephew for churros. I explained to the waitress that the boy had a severe lactose allergy. She assured me that the dough contained zero milk products and they also had lactose free chocolate. So we ordered. The boy had an instant allergic reaction after just trying a bit. Either his chocolate was contaminated, or he was given the wrong one or Bonilla's lactose-free isn't lactose free. I told the waitress and asked for water, but she want interested as it she was "busy with customers". I will be making a formal complaint to Consumo and Sergas
Ramiro R — Google review
Delicious churros with hot chocolate! The churros were crispy and not greasy, and the chocolate was nice and hot, and tasted more dark chocolate than milk chocolate (not too sweet). This is a family run business with long traditions, apparently passed down over 3 generations. Their potato chips are great - fried in olive oil! Light and crispy, grab a small or medium bag while you are here!
Lisa H — Google review
This is my new favorite hot chocolate, I am addicted now, supper thick and affordable prices
Rodrigo F — Google review
Very good crunchy churros, and the chips are amazing. I recommend a tosta with three flavors—egg, Cheese, and ham.

Cafe
Cafeteria
Waco, located on Alameda Street, is a cosmopolitan café that offers specialty coffee and non-stop kitchen service until 5 pm. With no set menu or reservations required, patrons can choose from a variety of dishes including eggs Benedict and burritos. The café prides itself on using local products such as bread from Farinarium, milk and yogurt from Hacienda Xanceda, and coffee from Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico.
We love Waco coffee first visited at Christmas on a cruise and back here again in March. Had Americano coffee, two orange juice and two vegan tostadas, absolutely fantastic and delicious 😋. Spoke to Michael and Nella and told them we will back in two weeks on our next cruise. Highly recommended place to visit in A Coruna.
J H — Google review
Wow! Visited today with my partner for a coffee and my god. It was some of the best coffee we've ever had! He had a latte and cortado, I had a cacao latte and they were so silky and smooth! The service was fantastic and the place was so cozy! Would highly recommend!
Jake — Google review
Great specialty coffee and cozy atmosphere. As someone who has worked with coffee for 9 years, I couldn’t ask for more: great choice of beans, top-notch coffee machine and mills, skilled friendly barista, beautiful latte art. Very reasonable price. For me, it’s one of the best coffee shops in Spain. I even bought a bag of their coffee to brew it at home.

Very tasty banana bread and good coffee! Cozy atmosphere and friendly service ,a great spot for a quick break or a relaxed coffee moment. We loved the mugs the coffee was served in :) such a nice touch!

Fantastic brunch place with lots of options to choose from 🥑 Cozy tables inside and a lovely outdoor seating area make it perfect for any mood. Great food and great vibe!
Katarina F — Google review
We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast burrito and eggs with bacon. The wait was quite long to order while waiting in line (>5 minutes), I imagine it was just an unusually popular day/rush hour. Worth the wait in the end. Toilet available. Allergens not clear on menus so important to ask (nuts in muesli/granola).

We had a delicious breakfast/brunch. The staff is super friendly and the food and coffe of very good quality. My kids were extra happy when they got a cookie when we were leaving. and the music was also amazing :)

Amazing! Avacado toast was phenomenal, Coffee very delicious, When I say the avacado toast is good, I mean the ratio of green to bread is perfect, egg was perfectly cooked, the pickled red onion combined with the avacado adds a delicious flavour Great job guys 5/5

Art cafe
El Cafe de Macondo is a local favourite for its eclectic music selection and friendly staff. The cafe is also dog-friendly, making it the perfect place to relax with a friend.
Magical little spot, like a time capsule to the 1920s. Really nice atmosphere, selection, and kind staff. Bonus- they allow you to enter with your dog❣️
Lauren — Google review
Geat cafe, had coffee and a brandy. Great art on walls, jazz music and people playing cards and chess. Really interesting place
John S — Google review
This place is super cute. And they have a pretty large upstairs area as well. It's one of those old classic bars that you find in seville. The staff which I think is the owner is very friendly and the place is super clean. There are some cozy tables and chairs near the window with some books. The coffee is delicious, perfect espresso as you would expect in spain. They do require you to show proof of vaccination to sit inside but they also have outside seating on sundays. What I like most about it is that it's a great place you can just hang out and chat with your partner for hours. It's also close to the ocean so you can walk there for some sightseeing and there are many different bars nearby and some really good shopping as well.
Mohammad A — Google review
Simply put, the best Cafe in town. Friendly staff, tasteful environment, great music selection playing at just the right volume to enjoy the mood while reading, studying or enjoying a chat (or a game of chess!). Can't recommend it enough, try the Carajillo!
Max P — Google review
Delicious coffee, nice ambience, walls covered in art, friendly and feels like a classic old coffeeshop.

An amazing find. Typical little coffee shop/bar as found in southern Spain. Cool eclectic play list. Staff are spot on, possibly the owner keeping the place spotless. Asked for a small bocadillo/bocata, immediately went out shopping for the jamón!! So fresh. Thank you so much

Café Casino is a historical bar located in Santiago de Compostela, dating back to 1873. It was once frequented by the city's aristocrats and socialites. The café boasts an opulent interior and huge windows overlooking the street. It serves high-quality coffee, small snacks, and desserts while also functioning as a cultural space dedicated to music with a grand piano for guests to play.
Great atmosphere, service, and food. We shared a few paella dishes, drank some beer, had some desserts, and coffee. The service was excellent and paella’s were hot and tasty.
Herman W — Google review
An American breakfast is disappointing. If it were 6 Euros, I wouldn't mind, but 12 Euros is excessive. Our waiter was very friendly. I would say this place is nice if you come here for a coffee and a cake.
Sebastian G — Google review
Traditional café with a lot of charm. It is, however, a bit more expensive. Great choice of special coffees, pastries, cakes, and so on. The coffee with Baileys was delicious. The Santiago cake was a bit dry but otherwise very tasty. Service was quick, smooth, and friendly.
Carlos M — Google review
Had to laugh so I wouldn’t cry. It’s beautiful with a high ceiling, lots of decorative woodwork, grand piano… but looks are deceiving. Table was dirty. I told the waiter and he said “It’s ok.” Thinking maybe he didn't understand me, i let it go. Ordered a couple of beers, 2 appetizers and a pizza. I will bet anyone €100 that pizza was a Dr. Oetker pizza speciale. (Frozen pizza you can get at the grocery for €3.) It was cold in the middle, like still frozen. We sent it back and it came out completely burnt. I would post a pic but the restaurant has a sign that they don't allow pictures of anything. Now we know why. It also took a really long time- at least 30 min for the appetizers and there were only customers at about 7 tables then- was not busy at all. Dirty bathroom, hand dryer doesn’t last more than one second. Do not recommend!!
Suzi Q — Google review
Agradable sorpresa, el Café Casino ha vuelto a su tradicional y elegante presencia. The classic atmosphere is back. Excellent place to have an appetizer, a coffee or a meal. Background music. Reminds a "brown coffee" place. Good price/value ratio. To talk, read and/or relax. Good service. Overcome Past: A display of grotesque sculptures, tasteless, all over the space. With this exhibition, the place had lost its charm. The classic atmosphere of the Café Casino was missing.
Marisol — Google review
Such a lovely relaxing cafe. Great place to people watch. Tea and Santorini cake was delightful. Definitely on my return list xx thank you xx
Deirdre M — Google review
Neat place in middle of Santiago. The waiter said that it's a historic building so nothing can be altered in the inside. s Since 1970s it remains unchanged and it gives you those feels. This is the first time I wanted to sit inside rather than outside.
Vlad F — Google review
The whole experience was great awesome. I was looked after by 2 waiters. Music d'ambiance was lovely, delicious chocolate churros super crispy, coffee was OK a bit small and dark lighting. Great selection of cakes but I was too full with churros.

Café Tertulia is a popular stop for breakfast or brunch along the Camino to Fisterra in Santiago. It offers a colorful decor, terrace seating, and a cozy atmosphere with trendy music and soft lighting. The café serves American-style breakfast with pancakes, English-style breakfast with baked beans, and a wide selection of loose-leaf tea. Visitors can enjoy sweet and savory dishes paired with excellent coffee while people-watching on the outdoor terrace.
Definitely 5 star. I came across the café while out early taking photos. It was a blessing finding such excellent coffee and a tosta with avocado, cream cheese and nuts. Service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was tops. It’s obviously the chosen breakfast coffee stop for many locals. I recommend it highly. If you want a great view of the cathedral, go to the right when you leave the café and look left down the first road. It’s worth the visit.
Ashley K — Google review
Great place close to cathedral (5minute walk) situated close a busy road, but this is not an issue for me. Menu very reasonable about €4-5 per plate. They serve snacks and filled bagels which are very tasty. Very food good and quantity just about right. Would recommend

Great little spot, busy because everyone knows it’s good! Staff very helpful and multi lingual, helpful to create your own brunch order. Chai in milk - delicious treat!

Pandelino is a relaxed spot offering breakfast, light bites, baked goods, and coffee. The bakery counter and organic menu provide a refreshing change from typical bars. The decor features high ceilings and Provencal style with excellent lighting. Located centrally on Calle Rosalia de Castro, it offers a quiet environment suitable for work or study. While not abundant in vegan options, the food is enjoyable and offers great value for money.
Another favourite place for choice and atmosphere. This is a beautiful eclectic place for brunch, lunch, tea and everything in between! The strawberry cheesecake was delicious !
Atifa B — Google review
Always our go to brunch spot! Very nice variety of food and drinks and nice ambiance. Might have to wait for the food but understandable as they are always full. Definitely recommended

Beautiful coffeeshop! Very cozy space, from the outside it looks like q delicatessen shop but as soon as you enter you’ll find a cute coffeeshop. The cakes were delicious you will find very hard to decide which one to chose. They offer a wide variety of teas and any coffee that you’ll like, non dairy options available. Highly recommended.

Visited Pandelino for lunch and also for a late afternoon coffee. It's a super cozy vibe with good coffee and food. They have a menu of a day that's a good amount of food. Their pea salad and roasted fish was really good.
T. — Google review
The food was a bit plain and uninspired. The atmosphere and wait time were acceptable. However, the service was disappointing, Eloisa (server) attitude was less than welcoming, and her professionalism left much to be desired. Overall, a rating of three stars or less feels fair.

Gorgeous Brunch end Breakfast in a lively Bakery with tea and kitchen market🥂paninis cakes or lunch to stay and rest or take away⛱🔆🍋📀
Diva R — Google review
Airy, well decorated, soft lighting, high ceiling, and friendly staff. The coffee served is nice (but no 'pincho' offered). It also has a bakery & chilled bottle cabinet at the entrance. It could do with more loos (one per gender) and queues often develop at peak times. The cigarette butts and ash on the floor around the outside tables because of lack of ashtrays isn't very appealing, and when it's slightly busy it takes too long to be attended. I recommend you pay when your order arrives, otherwise you will have a long wait for the bill. On my last visit there was only one loo working, the other had been out of order for a while it seemed

By dutch/ my standards the breakfast is very poor. No eggs on all of the menu, despite the photos. The jamon is more like a chewing gum, literally couldnt chew it so tough and thick

Restaurante Cafetería La Flor in Santiago de Compostela is a unique and cozy spot with an eccentric interior decor that combines hipster coffeehouse vibes with a touch of Cracker Barrel charm. The walls are adorned with prints and knick-knacks, while repurposed items like an old dryer drum turned into a lampshade add to the quirky ambiance.
The atmosphere in here was great. The decor was super fun. The service was a little slow because there were only two people working and everything on their menu (even the teas) were very labor intensive.

Just entered and asked for a simple croissant to take away, asking if they were fresh, she said yes and it wasn't, lied in my face!!!! Edit: Thanks, I couldn't ask for more. You just proved my point. I've asked her if it was fresh, because she offered me to warm it up! I am sorry but from where I am, you should never warm up a fresh croissant, no matter what the weather is like, at least not in France! And I didn't yield at the employee. I asked her to throw it in the bin because I couldn't see any bin outside. I was angry, yes, but didn't ask for a refund or anything, not a single remake to her even if she lied to my face as I am sure it wasn't he fault to be forced to sell old baked croissant! I used to work in a bar and I know what it is like to be in that position of knowing you must sell old stuff because your boss says so and "who cares, they are simple tourists". So no worries, and thanks again for your explanation.

La Bola de Oro is a cherished gem in Ferrol, renowned for its delightful chocolate and churros. This traditional chocolatería has been a family favorite for generations, offering soft churros made with quality oil and rich chocolate that strikes the perfect balance without being overly sweet. Visitors rave about the warm service from both old and new owners, making it an inviting spot to enjoy delicious treats with loved ones.
This is my favorite place to get churros when I am in the area. It can be hit or miss based on timing (its either empty or full), but other than that, its affordable, those churros are awesome and the chocolate isn't super thick. Stop by - you won't regret it!

Since I was a child and now with my children enjoying that place. With the same recipe (which I hope never changes), those soft churros with quality oil... thick chocolate and without excess sweetness. Perfect treatment with both the old and new owners. Totally recommended. (Original) El trato siempre es agradable y es el lugar perfecto para parar a disfrutar en familia del que para mí es el mejor chocolate con churros (y buñuelos) de Ferrol. Generally prompt and friendly service. 1906 on tap for €2 or so, is excellent. Good food if you wish, together with an ideal location next to the Palacio de Opera Definitely worth a visit. English speaking and polite staff which certainly helps.
Jonathan V — Google review
During our one-month stay in A Coruña, we visited here several times, as it was very near our apartment, and highly recommended. Unfortunately, it is just average. For a coffee and croissant it is ver nice. The food menu, however, purports to provide authentic Italian food; sadly, this is not true. The “lasagna,” for example, was made up of noodles, large chunks of sliced ham, and an overdose of what seemed to be American cheese, in a cheesy bechamel. At best, the food was edible and reasonably priced.

Marco P — Google review
Greetings! I am writing this review to improve and eliminate the mistakes of the institution! We ordered ice-latte and cappuccino without chocolate, cappuccino was made with chocolate, ice-latte is very diluted, they redid it, but the quality of coffee did not improve. I was surprised that baristas prepare coffee in cardboard cups, not in coffee pitchers (as it should be in the coffee house) staff prepares not correctly, so all coffee drinks are diluted! The staff does not work in an organized manner! Separately, I would like to mention the horrible smell and dirt in the restroom! All windows/doors are dirty and dirty. Feelings that the institution has no supervising manager who monitors the order and quality. The only good thing about this cafe is the girl who served us, she was nice. You have a very cool institution, in the city center with prices above average, but the management and quality of service is very poor. I wish you to find a good director who will adjust all the processes! I write as a person who has been working in this field for 10 years, only with best wishes.

One of the nicest burgers 🍔 I've ever had. Made to Order, very tasty and a long list of extras included in the price. Coffee or soft drinks only but don't let that put you off. Wonderful staff very helpful. Such good value. Finally a burger that looks the same in real life as it does on the picture.

Centrally located near many tapa tabernas and other stores, you can't miss it. The cappuccino are LARGE and delicious, their sandwiches and sweet pastries are both fantastic. Staff have been welcoming and friendly for our two days here, always with a smile and polite when server customers!

One of the best energies at the old city for all ages, you´ll find youngsters, as not. The vibe is really good, music is from a wide range of genres, always cheerful. Very decent spot, better than it´s neighbors. Service was very good but drinks took a particularly long while, twice. There is not that much space to sit so I would recommend to book previously. A friendly place. Almost everyday, You have a cloudy weather at Santiago, that's why a chocolate or a coffee is always welcomed. The chocolate of Metate is delicious, and much better when it is accompanied by churros!! You can ask for chocolate with cream, ice cream, etc. Last time we couldn't enjoy the pub area, it opens only on weekends (until 3 am!!). I had a great time here! The chocolate and churros is of course, very delicious! But best of all is the owner, he was very friendly. About his family, about the San Fermin festival (he even gave me some advise how to dodge the bulls and how to get to Pamplona) and more. He also let me stay about 20 mins passed his closing time :) I saw a couple of bad reviews about the owner, but don't let that discourage you - we all have bad mood sometimes. The large chocolate is delicious with just the right touch of sugar, without being cloying. They serve you two small cookies from the house, very delicious too. The site is impeccable. The price, as if it were in France😆 Advisable! (Original) Fuia visitar otra chocolateria, pero estaba cerrada. Por el camino encontré esta y fue todo un acierto hacer una parada dulce. Cafetería Lanzós is a charming gem nestled in the heart of Betanzos, housed in a historic stone building that once belonged to nobility. This delightful café has been a favorite for many over the years, offering an inviting atmosphere perfect for both breakfast and evening drinks. Guests can enjoy delicious coffee and delectable cakes while soaking up live music from frequent concerts held nearby. The ambiance is enhanced by the surrounding medieval architecture, making it an ideal spot for families with its pedestrian-friendly environment.
We have visited Lanzos for many years and it always is a great experience. We have been served for breakfast and for drinks at night and both experiences have been amazing. The atmosphere is really enjoyable and they organize frequent concerts in the bar and the plaza right out front of the café. The café is in an old stone house that was owned originally by nobility. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Betanzos, or pilgrims doing el Camino de Santiago (the English way). Adolfo, the owner, and all of his servers are always very nice. Additionally, the atmosphere, quality, and price are worth leaving the main plaza and heading to this cafe in Betanzos.

Bought 5 icecreams today, the seller showed me the price(15,8) and I paid with 20. I got back 20 cents and she quickly took away the bill. When I pointed out that she did not give me the full amount she got annoyed at me pointing that out. I expected atleast a sorry there, but none of that at all. I am looking like a tourist.. almost sure that she was trying it on purpose looking back at it. Count your money, don't trust people blindly here when you are not a native. Not coming back to this shop, icecream was not that good anyway.

We stopped by for a ball of ice cream and it was 2.5e...which I find quite overpriced given a better ball of ice cream in Munich city center (where we live)is between 1.2and 1.5e and better quality than the one in Stollen. Cafe Iacobus is a popular spot known for its quality pastries and homemade churros that fill the air with tempting aromas. With multiple locations in the city, it's renowned for its tarta de Santiago, a moist almond cake typical of the region. The expertly fried churros are a perfect morning treat and come with options like traditional dark chocolate or creamy hot white chocolate. The cozy ambiance and friendly service make it an ideal place to relax or catch up with friends.
We had a lovely breakfast at Café IACOBUS! We ordered toast with butter and jam, a freshly squeezed orange juice, two large café con leche, and of course, a slice of almond tarta de Santiago — which was delicious! The place is cozy and welcoming. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a cheerful “good morning” from the staff, which immediately made us feel at home. The service was also very quick. It’s located very close to the historic center, which makes it a perfect stop. We paid €15 in total.

A small but very cozy place in the city center. The staff were all sweet and respectful. I tried the Tarta de Santiago, and it was quite delicious. The coffee was also great.
Buse D — Google review
Great service, super fast and kind, very accommodating. Range of products is very wide and quality really high. The tostada con jamón is very good and so are the churros con chocolate. Coffee is good too!
Cristina A — Google review
Outside it says 'specialty coffee', so I decided to give it a try and ordered an iced latte. The barista was kind and friendly, but unfortunately the milk was steamed before adding the ice. For an iced latte, milk should never be steamed — it makes the texture watery and the temperature feels off in the mouth. The place has potential, but I’d suggest some additional training for the baristas to bring the coffee quality in line with the specialty label.
El G — Google review
Cute Cafe with nice atmosphere and efficient service. Except for cold churros and the smoke from the fryer that fills the room when new churros are made everything was positive. Not sure if we had an option to ask for hot churros but due to the language barrier, we were served cold churros. A few minutes later a party of four, who were local folks, walked in and the proprietor made fresh hot churros for them. Good semi-hot chocolate, coffee and the Galician almond cake. Prices are reasonable, 7€ for hot chocolate, coffee, almond cake and churros.

Ratiños Coffee Shop, nestled in the charming Plaza de Entreprazinas since 2018, is a delightful haven for coffee enthusiasts. This cozy café specializes in high-quality coffee sourced from micro-lots and expertly roasted by San Agustin Cafes, ensuring each cup highlights the unique characteristics of its beans.
Great coffee here. I see most if not all negative reviews relate to the exorbitant price all around the €2 mark. Thats incredibly reasonable in 2025 compared to the rest of the world. (Translated by Google) I don't normally make these types of posts. But I think everything has a limit. I live near the site, normally as a hospitality colleague you understand certain things and therefore we usually have a lot of patience with the service they provide us but above all empathy because we have been there. What is already incredible is that sometimes there are several at the bar and only one waitress serving everything. The service is therefore very slow. When you enter, people's faces are not welcoming, especially people who seem to have been there for a while. They see you arrive and they clean after clean, they move glasses from here to there and when you look at them it becomes uncomfortable because you really see that they are not so busy since there are two or three behind the bar and I repeat. Sometimes only one, or two, tending the entire place. We had a situation that was very uncomfortable, everyone manages their business as they want and trains according to their principles and policies. But what I don't see as normal is the way a girl made us uncomfortable while instructing what seemed like someone new. The way he spoke to her so passive aggressively was so tangible that it crossed the bar towards us as customers. That was the most notable thing at that moment, not to mention that it took them about 20 minutes to bring us a second coffee with the bar not even half full. Today I stopped by to buy a takeaway coffee with some pastries. When I opened the glass to put the trash in I realized that it was full of hair. I don't know, I never questioned the hygiene of the place, maybe its service but never its hygiene until today. And to put the icing on the cake, they don't cut anything to make their personal opinion known about their clients. Well, as they walk out the door, rolling their eyes, grimaces and whispers, they say goodbye to you behind your back. While you as a customer stay there watching how they are put to “give birth quietly” through the coffee machine. Imagine if someone having a bad day hears or sees them. They don't know the impact they can have on customers and leaves a lot to be desired about the values and policies the company may have.

The omelet was delicious and flavorful, with free-range eggs. The chocolate truffle isn't chocolate per se, but rather a dough that I don't know what it tasted like, with tiny pieces of white chocolate. (Original) De vacaciones, buena experiencia. (Translated by Google) I've been to this bar several times and generally leave happy. The atmosphere is very pleasant and it's a place I want to be. However, the customer service could be friendlier; sometimes you feel rushed or uninterested. Still, if you're looking for a good time in a nice place, it's worth it. (Original) He estado varias veces en este bar y en general salgo contenta. Just had a couple of drinks in the square outside, which is pleasant- as it's away from tourists. I only saw how nice it is inside, when I went to pay. I really like the way it's all set up and can't wait to go back and try the food, as we're staying just a few meters away

Came in when it was heavily raining early in the morning. Was given a warm welcome by young male staff and helped us with seating. Service was friendly and quick, with the best Tarta De Santiago I have had all trip. The portions were great for the prices and they provided us with an English menu as well which really helped. Was also given free small food bits with our drinks as well. The atmosphere is really nice, and I highly recommend. Such a cool hidden gem 👏

Food is good and inexpensive. Atmosphere was calm and welcoming, perfect for a late breakfast. Servers were very kind though it took a bit for my food to arrive. As a whole a great place.

One of my favorite spots. The weekend mornings are very relaxing. They have the local paper there and magazines. The locals go towards the back and hang out and read. It's very relaxed. Very friendly staff. I believe they have WiFi and it's a good place to go sit down with a book or work on your laptop. Very good food selection and I like their coffee. Comfortable seating, very clean place and a ton of light in the back.

After walking 25km on the Camino, Pazo was a welcoming refugee. Packed with locals, sitting at the bar, I was taking care of from the moment I walked in. Sensational Bacon Completo sándwich and excellent service!

On walking in the woman at the bar in glasses (the chef perhaps?) glared across with a “what do you want”; the kind of hostility that tends to come from those less tolerant of diversity. Sensing the awkwardness the waiter quickly came over and found us a seat. We ordered, asking for an ingredient to be left out of the salad. When the food came, it turned out that there was cheese, which my partner is allergic to. So I asked, kindly and gently, for another salad, this time without cheese, and was really clear that we would happily pay for all of it. Pretty simple, huh? Not so much. The shouting from the kitchen swelled and she came storming out, yelling and pointing at us, “no one tells me how to make a salad” - this went on for some time. The waiter returned to say that there was no more food. We paid and left shortly afterwards. Perhaps this won’t bother you if you go and they are having a better day. Perhaps it won’t bother you if you aren’t visibly different. Perhaps you don’t mind shutting up and eating what they tell you to eat! But if these things matter to you, and perhaps they should, then there are other options nearby.

Such a lovely cozy place in Santiago de Compostela. The owner is a very nice lady and her son works with her in the mornings. They are a great team. Very caring for their guests. Food is great, coffee delicious and good wine too. I went there everyday during my stay. They were super helpful, too when I asked for recommendations of tours and more. I definitely will go back on my next trip!

Cervecería A Vila is an amazing place to enjoy top-quality food with authentic flavors! We had the garlic king prawns with octopus, which were perfectly cooked and full of rich, garlicky goodness. The pork “Raxo” was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fried calamari squid was crispy on the outside and tender inside, just the way it should be. The grilled baby squid was a standout—perfectly charred and incredibly fresh. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive. A fantastic dining experience!

Wonderful place to stop for a coffee & a bowl. Been here after my first camino before leaving Santiago & came back after my second one just now. Both lady’s are absolute sweethearts, food and drinks are made with love & “vegan” options possible. Tho one thing I’ve found out - just now unfortunately by reading through the ingredients of their chai. It’s not vegan and sugarfree, even tho it says so but maltodextrin is sugar too…and it contains milk powder which I didn’t know and the owner probably didn’t either. So it’s vegetarian but not vegan and definitely not sugarfree. Iam always trying to make sure sure things are sugarfree - free of any kind apart from the whole fruit because Iam having issues digesting. A thing to note but - apart from this I would come back at anytime :-). Oh and no bathroom - worth noting.

The teas all seem organic with a huge tea selection. But I didn't see if the coffee is organic. Still, delicious espresso for €1.20. Staff is delightful and friendly and the place is clean.

Really cool cafe in town. They know how to make a good coffee and the chocolate brownies are to die for😀
Philip W — Google review
It was an alright place. The coffee was good, the cake we were offered was also very good. (They only had one sort of cake to offer at the time). The staff were polite and the decor is pretty. It's a nice cafe if you just want a coffee to-go but I dont reckon I would stay there for too long. They also don't have any restrooms.

The girl at the reception is the sweetest And the chai + gluten free brownie are fantastic

Acai bowl is served with very poor toppings not like the picture they advertise and they served very small volume of the smoothie part. Overall very disappointed and I paid 7 euros - waste of money! Definitely don't come here if you are looking for an acai bowl it's not worth it. I won't come back because the service was very poor, bad quality acai bowl and overpriced

Riego22 Boutique Café is a charming spot located near the popular Maria Pita Square and the delightful Calle Real. Despite being a bit crowded, the service is quick and friendly. The café offers an extensive selection of freshly made, delicious coffee from around the world that you can also take home. It's known for serving some of the finest coffees available, attracting mainly local patrons who appreciate quality coffee. Visitors can expect great coffee and chocolate in this beautiful setting on a pleasant walking street.
Looking for that perfect cafe to eat/drink at in Spain? Homemade chocolates/bread/fudge, and an impressive "wall of coffee beans" to select prior, for the vendor to make your fresh coffee from beans on the spot... One of the few places in town that are open very early while others are still closed or waking up... Great prices, high quality... stop here for a break from walking on cobblestones...

I had a great experience, everything is fresh made and taste very good. It was a little crowded but the service was fast and kind. This place is very close to the most visited Square, Maria Pita and to the lovely and charming Calle Real (Royal street). You also can take home a huge selection of coffee from all around the world

Buen Camino! It is a busy place and seems well known. Maybe the special coffee tastes good,. However if you just want to have a coffee, it is very ordinary.

Some of the finest coffees available. Small friendly place. Mainly Spanish customers who seem to appreciate good coffee from all over the world.

Revive is a great spot for affordable and satisfying breakfast options. The toast sizes are generous, and the cream cheese and berry option is particularly impressive. It's also known for offering healthy breakfast choices, with complimentary treats like juice and sponge cake from the friendly owner. Visitors can enjoy delicious toasts and attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere.
Best juice bar in A Coruña!

30 min waiting for coffee on a non-busy weekday, the waiter told us the food options we asked were not available (after 15 min we did the order). Then he forgot what we ordered, asked us, and this time the food became available. The toasts are too dry and firm with not a lot of filling, the coffee is fine.

(Translated by Google) Small and cozy place in the province of A Coruña that we went to by chance while browsing Maps. We really liked their pesto, tomato and avocado toast 🤤 The bowl was delicious with red fruits and açai. It's worth coming if it's on your route or if you live nearby 😋 (Original) Pequeño y acogedor local en la provincia de a Coruña al que fuimos por casualidad navegando por el Maps. Beautiful coffee ... most possibly the best in Boiro ... if you are in Boiro for a few days you must make some time to enjoy an hour or so here! There is a extensive menu of coffees, but even the humble cafe con leche is delicious! Service is quick, professional and friendly! There are even some bookshelves and you can borrow a book to browse while you sip coffee.

Ferradura is a charming café located within the Porta Faxeira park, offering a unique experience with its metal structure and spacious terrace set against the lush Carballeira de Santa Susana. The café provides both indoor and outdoor seating, allowing visitors to enjoy their meals amidst nature. While temporarily closed due to recent restrictions, Ferradura has been praised for its welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious cuisine.

Great outside seating areas under the trees and inside the park. The inside has some good seating as well with large windows. I enjoyed the coffee here - pretty standard and fair prices. Staff is friendly and it doesn't feel as touristy as it might look. Great location to walk around the park or to just have a beer.

I had an amazing experience at this floral-themed establishment called Salón de las flores. It offers both a flower shop and a cafe, making it a unique and pleasant place to visit. The owner was extremely helpful, kind, and caring when I needed a last-minute bouquet. She made me feel special throughout the entire process. The bouquet she created was exceptionally beautiful. Although I didn't have a chance to try their food, the carrot cake looked incredibly tempting.
Such a cute café! Enjoyed their avocado toast and orange juice for breakfast, very reasonably priced.

What a cute place! Lovely atmosphere and very friendly service. Good selection of cold and warm drinks and snacks.
Laura W — Google review
Most likely the one original place in Fisterra for brunch and breakfast.. in the same space with s flowers shops, that brings a magic atmosphere to the bar, this place has in the menu all the classic cafeteria and desayuno things, with on top a selection of more unconventional tostadas and cakes. I tried the one with avocado and a zumo natural (for 7.4€) and the day after an outstanding carrot cake! Super recommended!
Andrea G — Google review
Good coffee. Very good pastries. Kind service.

Generally good but I paid €2.50 for just one thin crepe and the topping was an €0.60 extra. Not good value for money and a bit of a rip off I think
