It was fine. The large burger is actually really large and tastes pretty good! But the portion of fries is pretty average and the prices are pretty high (even though I don't have a good grasp of Norwegian prices yet, I think €48 for a medium and a large average-quality-fastfood burger menu is a LOT)

the kebap plate was delicious. cut and prepared differently than the standard kebap meat. the fries were crispy and the two sauces had great flavor.

Dry burger with corn(!), tasteless cheese, and the distinct feeling that someone forgot to season both the food and their life. The fries were the only thing that saved the meal – and that says a lot. I'd rather grill the local seagulls than set foot there again.

Great food, but not like super amazing. We got a burger from the place. Apparently with corn as standard (that was special) The price was high as must other things in this city.

Way too expensive for what you get. Boring fries cost 65 NOK for a very small portion. It’s better to go somewhere else

The pizzas do not look delicious at all. And the chess is burnt on the edges. However, it is delicious. Outside area is pretty cool. There’s even a small playground. Queue system is nice. You get a number and sit outside. They call your number via the speaker.

Visited this magical place for cider tasting and lunch together with guests of Up Norway. We were flabbergasted by the incredible glacier-near setting, as well as the knowledgable pommelier who introduced us to local Hardanger ciders. We were introduced to the place’s history and people, loved the food, said hi to the farm animals, and never wanted to leave. Can’t wait to send more Up Norway travellers here! 🤗

Incredible meal with perfect pairings including three local ciders. We heard about lots of the ingredients locally sourced. Great to have a final drink by the cosy fire. The only part that wasn’t to my taste was the coffee at the end of the meal. Even though the dried waffle with cream and jam was sweet, the coffee was a little too bitter in balance for my taste. It is welcome to park the motorhome in the car park, so we did and took a walk up to the glacier the following morning. The road up is tight for very large vehicles, but not impossible (we’re 3.9m high and 10m long) We felt very fortunate to have the experience, as we didn’t plan ahead and I understand it is usually fully booked. Overall it was a perfect visit and we appreciate the wonderful hosts!

Fine restaurant, their menu offers a wide variety (Indian, middle eastern, vegetarian) and all the food is pretty good relative to other restaurants nearby. No wait, food is fairly quick, good portion sizes. WiFi is strong.

Presentation was fantastic. Beef for kabobs is ground, shaped into cylinders and skewered. Nicely spicy on the outside and my favorite part of the meal. The hummus would have benefited from fresh garlic and lemon juice. It included some jalapeños.

This food was delicious. Exactly the healthy pre-hike carb load I needed. I got some tips from the owner on how to replicate the chicken fatteh at home. The owner (sorry to say I didn’t ask for his name) was so lovely and chatty with all customers. We truly felt welcomed during our dinner. A must-visit if stopping for food in Odda

As a family of six, with children who just want fast food, a vegetarian and parents who are craving for decent, quality food it’s always a challenge to find a good place. This was that place. Even their burgers and fries were homemade and delicious. Then the meals, my god, tasteful salad, juicy kebabs, tikka masala chicken… I was genuinely sad we had to leave Odda after a night. They have only about 15 dishes on the menu, a good combination of fast food international cuisine, but clearly all selected and made with fresh, tasty ingredients and craftsmanship. Also reasonable priced considering the friendly service and exquisite quality of food.

Glad that I found this place on Google Maps. A must try if you are staying in the area or passing through like me. So good to have Asian food again and they do it well here despite offering a wide variety of different foods. They have vegan options too. To top it off, staff are friendly.

We were looking for a place to eat vegan but there were not a lot of options in Odda. We tried Glacier and the owner was so kind. He made us feel like everything was possible, we just had to sit down and he would help us. We ate very simple but delicious! I highly recommend the hummus with bread (order extra bread :)) and the noodles.

Great food. I had several dishes here. They will make it spicy too. You won't be disappointed. Superb. If anyone complains about this place they either don't like Asian food or haven't traveled abroad. The staff is friendly and care.

Really nice Chinese restaurant! Although most dishes are westernized, you can still get authentic Chinese dishes if you ask for it. The owner is very understanding and responsive. Free cake and coffee for guests, and the cake is really nice! Love it.

We had the kimchi fried rice here and it was exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking Trolltunga. They have plenty of options for vegans as you can substitute any meat for tofu and it’s easy to remove other ingredients as needed. The owner was also so kind and willing to work with us to figure out a payment solution and make sure we got fed after the [entire] banking system went down in Norway, such that we couldn’t pay with our credit cards as we had been, and we couldn’t withdraw cash from the ATM. We are so grateful for the excellent food and service at Asian Wok! Thank you!!

The tofu and veggies stir fry was awesome, highly recommended. My non-vegan partner thought it was even better than the chicken. Best vegan option in town, it's a shame they don't have more vegan options on the menu or we would have come back here every day of our stay in Odda.

I have no idea how this place isn't 5 stars! It was amazing and I was so happy for their vegetarian menu! It was excellent! When we asked for our food to be spicy is was so wonderfully spicy and flavorful! The main waitress was kind and spike English very well! When I say this is some of the best Asian food I have had I mean it without exaggeration! They were authentic with their ingredients and even included bamboo shoots and water chestnuts which a lot of other places skip on putting. I would highly look past negative reviews and give this place a try!

This place is a 10/10!! Staff is friendly and smiley, the local is clean, a bit small but you can always take the food away!! There is a long table to sit and eat looking through the window. And of course the best is the food!! Tasty real Thai food, I have come more than once and I always try something new and it is always delicious! Best recommendation to eat something nice in Odda! ❤️

Great takeaway spot. We were very surprised and impressed with the taste, freshness and generous portion sizes for a quick take away in Odda. We had the Penang curry which had a great kick 🌶️ and the Pad Thai which was delicious. We didn’t try sushi but what was being served looks great. Not the best eat-in facilities but great if you’re after takeaway or something quick then it does the job. Would definitely eat here again.

It was a really nice experience we tried 3 diffent meals. All of them was very delicious. Even though we arrived at 8pm, they let us eat in there. Thank you.

Let me start with the ordering process was confusing and complicated. The lady who ordered cannot understand English and the lady who understands English cannot input order. It takes about 10 mins to put my order in. During the course I was forced to change my order because they ran out of cooked Sushi rice! With all being said, I still give them a five star because the food is REALLY GOOD!

I had a great lunch at this grilled trout fillet was cooked just right, with a tasty Hollandaise sauce. The vegetables and green sauce made the meal feel fresh and balanced. The cream fish soup had a nice flavor, though it was a bit too creamy for me. It came with bread and soft, salted butter, which was very good. Overall, the food was well-prepared, and I enjoyed my meal. I would eat here again!

This place is super cozy and has amazing food. We loved the fish soup. The food was served quick and the prices were fair. The servers were friendly. If the weather is nice there is also a very cute outside area.

I had a really nice time i this restaurant. Calm and cosy atmosphere, with a good service. Meals were delicious with fresh products. I would come back to this place again! What is mote restaurant has a little shop with local products like cheese, pasta, cider or ham.

The experience at this restaurant was a bit of a rollercoaster. The services was good but you could tell the server was very stressed and running from table to table. Because the restaurant only had one server, the services is a bit slow so don't come to eat in a hurry. The ambiance is great, a nice patio and cozy indoor seating with a deli. Our food was also a bit if a tossup as the burger was really bad, the salad and fish soup was good. The burger was served well done although we asked for medium. The patty had a bad texture like the meat was blended and also had a strong tangy flavor which was weird. They were very kind and comped the burger. On the other hand, the salad was fresh and had plentiful slices of brie.

Favorite meal of our trip so far. Best fish soup we have had, enjoyed the burger and fish dish as well. Highly recommend!!

This restaurant is fabulous, my partner and I enjoyed our first meal so much we came back the next night! Lovely staff, fantastic food and drinks. I highly recommend to anyone, the food looks fantastic and tastes even better. Both burgers were 10/10, the cod was out of this world and the cheese and meat board was superb. When we went it was very busy and were lucky to get a table so make sure you book in advance.

We came in late for this place at around 9:50pm and they let us order a Viking's plate and a Vertshuset special pizza. We dined outside and enjoyed a nice sunset lake view. The food came very fast and it was very lovely. The viking's plate came with potatoes, some saltier than usual meat, sausages, salad and a dressing (which worked well for pizza crust actually). The pizza was hot and had jalapenos and pepperoni. The meal was delicious and we really needed dinner after a 6 hour drive, so incredibly thankful they let us order so late.

Awesome location on lake with indoor and outdoor seating, the views were incredible, (see picture). Service was quick and cheerful! Highly recommend.

After a great hike I recommend ending the day at Vertshuset! the staff are wonderful, drinks and food are excellent, great music and perfect location right on the lake! Everyone made me feel at home thank you!!!

Looking for a nice place close to the Fjord we found the Vertshuset. The location has a great view to the Fjord and the sourrounding mountains. There are several seats and tables outside on the terrace. Due to the temperature we took a table inside. Unfortunately, our table had a lot of gums under it. The overall atmosphere is for sure like a pub, but for me personally it was too dark and as such the atmosphere was. There is a billiard table and as well a dart. Both not in a good condition, but usable. We also ordered some food. Like mentioned in previous posts the menu changed and you need to order at the bar. The food is convenient food - just heated up and as such the pizza we choose is rather expensive with 160kr. Especially as the service is just to bring the food to the table. Given all the other comments, I was really disappointed, because we expected something else. Serving convenient food in a pub is ok, but please not at such a price level. Some of the options were also sold out. The only real positive was the friendly service and the positive mood and smile of the staff. If you want to go for some drinks and beers and a snack the bar is well suited, but the price level is high for this kind of food.

Place with a view. We tried pizzas, Verdure and Beconare. Both good. It has a nice view of odda. Staffs very nice and service is fast. A little on the expensive side(avg. cost per pizza is 220NOK), but what isn't in Noway!

We were hungry after our hike and this was the only place open at the time. If you absolutely need food this is okay, but otherwise avoid. For the quality of food you get, the prices are very expensive. Service was also very slow, in the end we went to the bar to order, because no one was coming and there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. On top of that we got charged 3 Euros for Mayonnaise that was delivered after the fries we had orderwd were already nearly done.

Terrible service at this restaurant. My friend and I ordered smash burgers but got the wrong ones. The waiter didn’t acknowledge the mistake and refused proper compensation—offering just 15 % discount and a free cake. He acted as if it was our fault and created a very tense vibe. Eventually, after a long discussion and calling in a colleague (and talking right over our heads in their language we couldn`t understand) we were given the correct burgers. But when he served them, he felt the need for one last sarcastic comment: 'Four burgers for the price of two, you two are lucky today'”, which he didnt seem very happy about.

Came here after our hike, and now was it worth it. Devoured the entire pizza which was sooo light and yum, the beers were great, great service, and a great all round vibe 😍

I had the nachos and basically ate it all! They were so good!! My husband said the burger was decent. The carrot cake was delicious. The staff is very friendly!

Amazing food, very good service

Went here yesterday and had the AC/DC pizza. The price was a bit high, but the pizza was at least good. Nice mix of flavours and the crust was also nice. We arrived late so they had stopped serving most things expect pizza/burgers. It was a decent place for pizza at the very least. Coffee was expensive and just tasted water to be frank..

When entering the restaurant we waited couple of minutes before being helped. No one came so we chose a table ourselves. When a woman came to our table she almost threw the menus to us. Food: 2 double decker burgers. They were flooding in frying oil. The fries were alright. To switch ketchup for mayo it costs 50NOK. Insane! We needed to go to the desk ourselves to be able to pay. No one answered immediately. Check your bill when leaving! The woman likes to charge more than you ordered. Dont go here The only good thing: the view

My orders were 🟤double shot latte which was good8/10 🔴 strawberry cake which was very good 🟠🟡🟠 and the place is very quiet and inside the supermarket

Lovely place with great selection

They have oat milk for vegan cappuccinos or lattes! Friendly staff that speaks English. Also some plant based sorbet ice creams. Unfortunately no vegan sweets. Dogs allowed on the terrace and they can get a bowl of water if you ask!

Nice little bakery at the edge of the water in Odda. Good variety, prices are reasonable for the area. Inside a shopping center.

The sandwich was okay but the coffee was not good. We did not like it at all.
