Heavenly Desserts Derby is an upscale dessert cafe in the UK, known for its creative waffles, chocolate fondue, and ice-cream sundaes. The cafe prides itself on offering a diverse menu that caters to every sweet tooth and provides quality service. With extended hours, it's a go-to spot for indulgent treats and late-night cravings. We had relatives over from Germany and America so we been coming to Heavenly for past 6 days. The dessert are so good and the staff is so kind and friendly; they keep kids with colouring stuff. Big big thank you to Hamza Bro and Mahim they both been so so good. ❤️ well recommended.

Took my kids here for a post cinema treat as we have been here before and enjoyed the waffles. There was lots of seating available, and staff attended to us in a timely manner. Really nice menu. The pages could have done with being numbered (one of the kids couldn't find the page her sister was looking at, and numbered pages would have made this easier). The waffles were a good portion, nice and fluffy. The ice cream tasted delicious, and both kids enjoyed the milkshakes. I had the Saffron latte, which was perfectly balanced and did not require any sugar being added. The prices were reasonable for the location and portion sizes, but definitely not somewhere to go if on a budget. Spent over £35 on 2 milkshakes, 2 waffles, and 1 latte. It's definitely a treat, and we will be going again

went here on tuesday for a date with my boyfriend and it was amazing! the food was gorgeous as always and our server was incredibly kind and very helpful when it came to advice on choosing our drinks (thank you for that!) the atmosphere is also very cozy and nice! 100% would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area
Georgia E — Google review
This dessert was a full-on flavour party. The warm brownie was rich and decadent, perfectly matched by scoops of cookies & cream and bold coffee ice cream. Overall, this dessert was a layered experience - hot and cold, soft and chewy, sweet and slightly bitter. My friends also indulged in chocolate mochi and crepe with vanilla ice cream and berries.
Priyanjana K — Google review
The Atmosphere Was Great The Desserts, Presentation Not Good The Service could be better, not one person smiled when we walked in 😞, Milkshake Was Spot On! I was given that first while I finished that the desserts came after didn't make sense would have been good come at once as we come as a family

Located at prime location on the London Road beside the Derbion Mall, there is plenty of parking in the mall. Ambience is good with some outdoor seating. The menu is exhaustive with an excellent and quite unique spread of dessert. The service was very good too. We loved all that we ordered - they were excellent and tasty. It may not be a bad idea to check the menu beforehand, as one could be sat there for ages, confused about what to order. It was a lovely dining experience.

Bakery
Nestled in the heart of Derby, Brownie Points Bakery is a delightful haven for anyone with a penchant for sweets. Renowned for their all-butter chocolate brownies, this charming bakery offers an array of freshly baked pastries daily, including cakes and traybakes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The menu is a treasure trove of indulgent treats, featuring everything from creamy cheesecakes to airy sponge cakes and, of course, their signature decadent brownies.
I regret the amount of times I have walked past but never been in! Brought a brownie and kinder caramel cookie slice and couldn't recommend them more. Simply one of the best brownies I have tasted.
T R — Google review
Tried out this place yesterday with my partner and our friend. Totally and utterly felt like a kid in a candy shop! There was so many treats to see and try out (unfortunately there was no samples to try)… It took us a little longer than expected to choose something as everything looked so tasty. I ended up choosing a Jaffa Cake brownie and a cup of tea. Slightly underwhelmed by my brownie if I’m honest. I was expecting a bit more of an orange tang but could barely taste anything. Nevertheless, it was an okay little brownie for what it was. One thing I would also like to note is that we wanted to sit down to eat and drink, they did have a table outside of the bakery but were unable to offer a high chair for my child. So I do think that the bakery should definitely think about getting one of those for future customers. It made eating and drinking quite difficult. I’d go back again to try something else and still say it’s worth anyone else coming and trying it out for themselves.

Updating with pics. I have family in Derby and always try and steal a visit to here when I am around. Incredible value and and always a big selection. More people should know about this place, but then I am kinda glad that they don't!

This bakery is a paradise for dessert enthusiasts and cake lovers alike. The menu offers an irresistible selection of sweet delights, featuring everything from rich cheesecakes and fluffy sponge cakes to decadent brownies. What makes this place even more special is its thoughtful inclusion of vegan and gluten-free alternatives, ensuring everyone can indulge in something delicious. Whether you're satisfying a serious sweet craving or looking for the perfect treat, this bakery delivers pure confectionery bliss.

Good service but unfortunately the salted caramel brownie tastes off… the chocolate orange one was okay. But we genuinely couldn’t eat the other one, it tasted like gone off milk😩😩

If you have a sweet tooth then you will love Brownie Points Bakery in Derby... Their range of Brownies, Blondies, Cookies and Pies is amazing... Portion size is huge and prices reasonable. Latte and milkshakes great too.

The initial impression holds great importance for Scoops Express Desserts, as a negative experience with their service or unsatisfactory food can discourage customers from returning. However, this dessert shop has managed to impress customers consistently over time. Their desserts, particularly the delicious Scoop, have received rave reviews since the first order. Customers are enticed to exclusively order from Scoops Express Desserts due to the delectable taste and reasonable prices offered.
Waffles cookie dough great Management staff polite and helpful they go out there way to accommodate your needs Recommend waffles great portion sizes same as the school pudding desserts best in derby 🍰

I ordered waffles today and absolutely loved it. I saw they have one plus one offer on their website and doubted the quality and quantity. When I got my waffle I instantly finished a whole waffle because the taste was heavenly. So fluffy and loaded with strawberries. Even the strawberries taste fresh and would definitely recommend.
Shaik S — Google review
The milkshake was lovely from there, I would try their other desserts 🍨 from there too, I have tried their food, but they didn't drop the drink that we ordered they were rude about it and pizza wasn't that great either. I only will only collect their delivery, isn't reliable.

The girl on the counter was really rude .we ordered kulfi falooda and it was like a rubber. When we asked them they said it is our recipe.it looks like made with expired things also like spaghettis instead of falooda noodles. After tasting the food we chucked in the bin.it was just a waste of money .Council and health and safety department should check it . 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Made a delivery order online of over £50 and an hour plus later the ice creams have not been added. I made the call and could over hear the miscommunication staff had and no one willing to take any responsibility. I was told you'll have to wait despite the order being late in the first place. The Manager wasn't willing to speak to me but was happy whispering instructions of how he is willing to give a free ice cream next time we order. You can stick the free ice cream where it belongs we won't be ordering from here again

Kaspa's Derby offers a spontaneous adventure for dessert lovers with their delectable Banoffie Cookie Dough and Oreo Waffle options. Although both treats are enjoyable, it's suggested that the Oreo flavor could have been enhanced further. The staff, possibly adjusting to their first day back after Christmas, could have shown more warmth through their smiles. However, the overall experience at Kaspa's Derby is commendable with its reasonable prices, tidy tables, and efficient service.
I tried here for the very first time choco waffle and I chose my toppings but I don't recommend people to choose fudge cubs as toppings on their waffle because it was so hard to eat.. It was not that easy to eat I tried to eat the fudge cubes but I couldn't then I removed them from my waffle. So please don't add the "fudge cubes" as toppings. All over my experience in this place was good.
Seema S — Google review
Impromptu trip for a sweet treat. Banoffie Cookie Dough and Oreo Waffle caught our eye. Both are very nice, although maybe a bit more oreo would have been nice. The staff could have smiled a little more, but It was probably the first day back after Christmas 🎄 Fairly good value for money, clean tables, and quick service.
Mrs S — Google review
Well me & the other half enjoy eating here most of the time. There’s only been a few occasions where my waffle has been under cooked. But they have sorted it out. The door is a put off.! With its noise. And one member of staff just needs to lose his attitude to the customer as he lets the whole site down. His mannerisms his whole person is just rude. A course In customer service wouldn’t go a miss.
Charlene S — Google review
Excellent food and really pleasant service. My partner got a free milkshake for her birthday, and our 3 year old was given a free lolly. All the food was high quality, and worthy of the prices. The milkshake was actually really excellent. I was expecting something very simple as a freebie, but it was a luxurious thick milkshake with Kinder Bueno strongly coming through. Definitely worth a return visit. We probably hit one of their quietest times of the day, so service time was excellent too.
David C — Google review
No table service, so you have to order at the counter. We were told an item we wanted wasn’t available as the cakes/puddings that were available were in the fridge, hard to look in the fridge when looking at the menu at the table ! The sundaes were of a good standard albeit slightly small for the cost of them. The table only had two napkins for three of us! No one came and asked if we were happy with the food or if we required anything whilst dining. Also they need to fix the creaky front door. Cherry sundae is very good.
Am — Google review
I am so disgusted, just came here for dessert and i will never ever come back we were given glass for water. The glass was so dirty it had lips mark all over it. And my cookie dough had hair in it. I am so disappointed. If i could I wouldn’t even give one star.
Avin M — Google review
I ordered a waffle online and despite paying £10 with service and delivery fees, they didn’t even send a proper portion of ice-cream with it!!!! I was a regular customer and now I’m really disappointed with their online ordering services! ☹️
Bahar — Google review
really discusted by the food we was given today, firstly the cookie dough was runny like it hasn’t been cooked long enough. it was squishy like butter, secondly it stuck like feet it had an awful smell to the point i was gagging. Really disappointed that i spent £6 for sloppy cookie dough.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than The Cake Club! This charming spot has garnered rave reviews for its incredible selection of cakes, especially their tray bakes that have become the highlight of many events. Guests at weddings have been particularly impressed by how these treats steal the show at buffets, leaving everyone craving more. The customer service is equally commendable; Abbie and her husband go above and beyond to help you choose the perfect bakes for any occasion.
Sooo delicious! They do a 4 for £14 mix and match. The rice crispy brownie was amazing

I thought that I should best check this place out, after seeing a work colleague posting some good looking food on social media. I went for a flat white, & unfortunately not the best I’ve had compared to other places, this however was forgotten about as the food was lush. I chose to go for the chicken & halloumi burger with skin on fries. The burger was packed full of flavour, & I didn’t have to wait long either! I also had a garlic mayo dip to go with the fries. Before leaving I took away two desserts, these being raspberry sandwich cookie & a chocolate button cookie, both of which tasted lovely. Despite this place being small, it still has a single toilet, with a baby change facility which I was happy to see. I will definitely be visiting again in the future, for food & drink!
Simon B — Google review
We had the cake clubs cakes at our wedding reception, and Omg, they were insanely good. (We had 6 lots of different tray bake style cakes and a bento size cake) Abbie has been emailing back and fourth with me, the contact/customer service was just amazing, her & her husband helped me pick out some great bakes to have on the day. They were definitely the star of the buffet table! And all my guests just loved the cakes. I don’t think I could hold another event without some of their delicious traybake cakes now! And such a bonus that we can order online when we get that cake club craving! Thank you again Abbie & team xx

Lovely little cafe in the middle of Spondon. Decided to pop in for a bite to eat as we were in the area. Everything was cooked fresh to order and was absolutely faultless. All quality ingredients and well worth a visit. Find this useful give a like 👍 follow

The treats are outstanding! The service that Rez and the team gave us was unbelievable. We had 4 different type of bakes for our wedding and they went down a storm, so much so we didn’t even get to sample them all. More reason to come back and eat more!!! Thank you for being amazing and would 100% recommend to anyone!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have ordered from Doughnotts Beeston twice through Deliveroo, and both times the doughnuts arrived well packaged and incredibly fresh. They are generously sized and sweet, making them perfect for a tea party or as a special treat. I would suggest only eating half at a time due to their richness. My personal favorite is the lemon meringue doughnut, as the contrasting textures of crispy meringue and soft lemon curd create an absolutely delicious combination.
Called Doughnotts Beeston last minute to add a small happy birthday message on top of the box for my brothers gift and team member Rosie went above and beyond and made it look soo pretty! Sensational! Really improved the experience of the gift and Rosie took the time out to make it such a sweet gift! Thanks again!
D G — Google review
I ordered some doughnuts for my boyfriend’s birthday and asked for it to be put in a nice box (because I didn’t want them in a bag). The lovely girl who worked there decorated both boxes to say happy birthday. It was such a lovely touch :)
Molly W — Google review
We've been coming here for years and loving every visit! Particularly appreciate how many vegan options there are and the doughnuts are good flavours - stand outs are the biscoff ones and we love coming in for the new flavours they bring out.
Meridith D — Google review
Began in 2015 by Wade Smith and Megan Scaddan in their mothers kitchen in Nottingham their website tells you that armed with a tenner and a wok they took the standard doughnut to the next level with their handmade doughnuts and buns. Doughnotts was created. Since then the pair have opened 3 other shops in Leicester, Lincoln and Beeston but also two in the East Midlands Outlet and more recently the West Midland Outlet. My personal favourite is in Beeston store in the former Thorntons chocolate outlet shop. The staff are so friendly, professional and swift to serve that there is always a customer walking in from the entrance right on High Street. With easy access for wheelchairs, there are a few seats for eat in diners but mostly for take away or delivery through their website. In addition are celebration cakes and special occasion doughnuts. Served with the local 200degrees coffee you are treated to some of the most decadent doughnuts ever bought. With dipped or dusted, deep filled or topped with mouthwatering flavours, vegan and non vegan doughnuts, cinnamon buns, forget the other brands they pale in comparison in not only size but taste too. The thing about Doughnotts is you never know what topped goodies will be available in addition to the core standard and premium doughnuts their toppings change on their speciality doughnuts so what you bought last week might not be made this week. Almost like Willy Wonka making the sweets e feels like making and I have the feeling that the doughnuts of the day are made by what their baker feels like baking. But one thing is consistent is the quality and size of these pastries and the level of professionalism from all the staff. Whenever in Beeston I always find half an hour to stop off for a coffee and a treat before going on my way. Well recommended whichever shop you visit
Christine P — Google review
Disappointed with the experience. Lukewarm coffee and upon bringing this to the attention of the young girl serving was met with she’d made it to the correct temperature which was the legal one for the area and next time I should request it extra hot. She then announced we had to leave as she was closing for her break and we had to pack our food and drinks in takeaway containers and leave. So much for next time…
Gail S — Google review
Popped in for a cinnamon swirl and the tall girl in here persuaded me to have a coffee, which she assured me would be good. She was right. Good black coffee, great cake and proper service.
Colin R — Google review
I love this place, they have tons of vegan options :)
Letizia F — Google review
This brilliant little cafe is a lesser-known gem of Beeston! They serve a range of coffees, soft drinks, hot chocolates and are soon releasing some new drinks for summer. They sell lots of different doughnuts and their menu rotates monthly, this month's theme being ice-cream which includes classics like the Twister, Fab, Feast and my current favourite : Kinder Bueno Cornetto! Their coffee is gorgeous too, and as a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, that means a lot. They use 200 degrees coffee beans and each time I've been in, I've had different latte art, including animals, tulips, roses and swans. Doughnottss Beeston is a must visit if you're ever in Beeston!

I would give a zero if I was able to. Have ordered a number of times from this company but most recent order was left on the doorstep without the doorbell being rang. Stood around waiting to be seated for ages. Waitress completely ignored me and seated people who came after me, even though I stood at the front of the queue. When I politely told her I’d been waiting, she rolled her eyes, walked off and shook her head. Awful way to treat a customer. I won’t ever be coming here again and I’ll be spreading the word about the awful customer service.

Hotel Chocolat is an upscale chocolatier that stands out not only for its exquisite chocolates but also for its unique connection to a cocoa farm in Saint Lucia. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting their Derby location, where I was warmly welcomed and treated to delightful samples. The hot chocolate and Earl Grey tea were simply divine! The staff, particularly Amanique, provided exceptional service with genuine smiles that made my experience even more enjoyable.
Great treat for any chocoholic. They are not cheap but a fabulous gift for a special occasion. The shop in Derby is fantastic with staff that are very friendly and attentive. You can also get a fabulous hot chocolate drink on the shop.

I found out about Hotel Chocolat from Wuntu and to my surprise they recently opened up in Derby. So I dropped in and decided to take a look around. I was politely greeted and offered some samples of chocolate. We had hot chocolate and an Earl Grey as well, they were all heavenly! The service and products are top-notch. I will be coming back for more of their Earl Grey and Hot Chocolate. I just cannot recommend them enough!

Staff are always really great and polite. Cafe serves really good hot and cold drinks. Chocolate is on the pricier side but it's all fair trade so to be expected. They even sell Chocolate bars where I believe its that 100% of the price paid goes to the coco farmers, that also tastes really good.

The Dessert Project is a highly recommended dessert shop in Derby, known for its exceptional desserts. Customers frequently order from here and are consistently satisfied with the quality of their desserts. In the event of any issues, they are promptly resolved. The orders always arrive punctually and hot desserts remain hot. This dessert shop stands out as the best in Derby, offering excellent customer service and a variety of delicious treats such as Milk cake, churros, and mini pancakes.
I've not tried here before and after scrolling through local Desserts on uber eats I thought I would give this place a try, they had good reviews so thought it was at least worth a try Firstly the menu is so much more diverse than your average dessert place which made ordering a treat I chose the mini pancakes with Nutella and strawberries and a chocolate cookie dough Delivery eta was acceptable at around 45 minutes to and hour Delivery bloke was polite and courteous Then it came to my favourite part, eating the food Wow, what can I say, the presentation was in point and the smell was amazing Mini pancakes tasted ace, Nutella was evenly drizzled on, not excessive and not too little, just right. Strawberries were fresh as well Cookie dough was thick n soft, no complaints there Overall I will definitely be coming back here 5*

Really great dessert shop best desserts in derby. Been ordering throughout the pandemic great team milk cake and churros my favourites thank you Try the mini pancakes
D P — Google review
Ordered the churros and milk cake, after looking for a place for so long that does them and what can I say but absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, giving advice on flavours and their top sellers. Upon eating the dessert, was the perfect balance of sweetness and flavour. Freshly made churros which were crisp and soft at the same time, will definitely be back here again! Thanks guys

This place is amazing. One of the best desserts we've had and they delivered to our door. Amazing service as they dropped it off outside as we are social distancing which was very professional. The waffles were perfect and we can't wait to order again! Thank you The Dessert Project, this will become a regular. If you are in Derby make sure you try this!

I've ordered from dessert project a number of times and have advocated it to so many friends and family as the best cookie dough in Derby. We've never had any issues but our order today, as you can see from the photos, we received almost raw cookie dough. Now I understand on a Friday night that you may be very busy so in a rush you can pull the cookie dough from the oven a little early. However, this isn't the reason for my rating. I rang dessert project to explain to them that I've just received raw cookie dough. You'd like to think a food business would have a process to deal with these types of incidents. The person I spoke to was rude and asked me "so what do you want". I asked for a replacement and I'd be happy to send this back with the driver as evidence. I was told it would be another 45 minute wait at which point I asked them if we could be put to the top of list as it wasn't our fault it was raw. I was again told, in a rude manner, we're really busy so can't do that. I reiterated the point it wasn't our fault the food wasn't cooked properly. Again I was told they won't expedite our order. At which point I asked for a refund instead which they agreed to. The called was then abruptly ended, to a point were I honestly thought they hung up accidentally so I rang back. The person I was speaking to said this wasn't an accident the refund would be issued. I'm so disappointed as I've been a customer with dessert project since the started up last year. Unfortunately, they lost a number of customers now. Absolutely shocking.

Order pretty often from here and i must say desserts are always spot on. If there is any issue’s they are dealt with promptly. Order always arrives on time and hot desserts are always hot. Cant fault them. I highly recommend this place.

Just had my order delivered from The Dessert Project. It was on time. I ordered 1 lemon meringue pie which looks bloody lovely I also ordered 2 100s and 1000s cakes which they put custard on I didnt want custard. I phoned them the gentleman I spoke to was extremely polite and apologetic and said he would get 2 more sent out to me... I was not expecting that. It's the 1st time I've ordered from them but will definitely order again.x. Thank you very much guys.x.

In response the the reply below, absolutely sure I got the right place, I can show you the transaction on my bank statement! Worst dessert I have ever ordered! The mini pancakes are not even worth 65p never mind £6.50 (see photo attached), the cornflake tart was cold, and covered in a greasy type liquid 🤮, the pastry was non existant. And when collected it was taken out of the freezer and heated in the microwave! Never again.

We chose “Pat a Cake” to do our wedding cake for our wedding reception this year back in June. Prior to our day we went to the shop for a tasting session to sample some of our favourite flavours, & to discuss our final design of the cake. We chose to go for 3 tier cake, with top tier being semi naked & the other two tiers being full buttercream. Our colour theme was sage/olive green. The flavours consisted; top tier - sticky ginger & rum, Middle tier - red velvet (being the special tier, vegan, gluten free, & non Dairy), & the Bottom tier - strawberry & raspberry ripple. The design/colours of the cake complimented our colour theme as instructed during the initial brief. All of our guests & of course ourselves enjoyed the taste of the cake! A big thank you to everyone at “Pat a Cake”, a job well done.

Love the cupcakes and other yummy treats from these guys. Plus most times I pop in I end up having a great bit of chat! We even got our Christmas cake from here safe in the knowledge that it would be scrummy! (Spoiler: it was!) If you’re passing by, do yourself a favour and grab a box of cakes! You won’t regret it!

Love this place! We tend to buy a box of 4 every couple of weeks - portion sizes are very generous and the cakes absolutely yummy. Their occasion boxes are great as gifts, this Father’s Day box went down very well!

Thank you Pat a cake for making me this beautiful cake at such short notice! It looked absolutely amazing! Would 100% recommended and will be returning in the future!

Absolutely love this place. Fantastic cakes and treats. I'm going to steal some lyrics from Depeche Mode and say I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!! 🤣🤣. Honestly why go anywhere else? Support a local business and go to Pat-a-Cake, and you will not be disappointed believe me!!!

Lovely addition to Spondon village, the cakes are to die for but you should taste their cookies!! Also did our beautiful wedding favours (personalised biscuits) everyone was asking for seconds!

Wow! I can’t even describe how incredible these cakes are! There are no words to match them at all. Possibly the nicest cakes I’ve tried! A lot of love and care goes into them and the choice is never ending. The owner and staff are lovely and you can tell how much they love what they do. Their shop is the prettiest shop to go to. I loved my experience and I’ll 100% be back for more! Thank you.

Really enjoy ordering from here, they are quick to deliver. But also easy to get to being less than a minute walk from Radford Road tram stop. There is plenty of choice and the desserts and milkshakes are very good. Has become a major favourite for special occasions.
Atif M — Google review
Diabolical is how I would describe this place. Unorganised, unequipped to deal with their orders and manners, what manners. Female staff who claims to be the manger is SOO rude and argumentative. No sense of customer service, how to engage with her customers and so abrupt. It's obviously from her tone and poor choice of words she's hadn't done so well at school. My first and last visit, will not be going back there again. I suppose I can't blame her totally, considering were the shop is that's the level of standards one would expect. The level of rudeness, and ill-mannered engagement fits firmly within its surroundings. Funny that, because the shops around it delivery outstanding serve and value their customer. If your want to get abused, blamed and spoken to like some ruffed up rat looking for scraps then this is the place for you.
Taz K — Google review
Ordered 4 deserts at 8 they arrived at 9:10. One desert arrived and no others I then rang and they apologised but first tried to insinuate I was lying. They then said they’ll send them out. 2 hours later I called again after no delivery and was told the driver had just left 10 minutes ago. I then waited another hour and called again (4 hours after my initial order) I was then told ‘don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about you, the food will be with you soon I’ll send it now’ and then no delivery. Just a bunch of lies over a bit of ice cream and waffles that cost £27 that.
Helen B — Google review
Been ordering from this place for a long time now. Each and every order the delivery has been 10-20 mins late but it was always made nicely, weather it was a waffle or milkshake. But after last night I will definitely stop ordering from here. Order was 2 hours late! Then two items from the order were missing! When we called back to see where the missing items were, they said they’ll call us back but there were no calls back! After we called back ourselves twice again and they said they’ll send it out and it’ll be there in 20 mins. Waited another 40 mins still no order! Called again and then they said “driver left 5 mins ago”. It was 00:30am at that time and I didn’t bother ringing back and they didn’t bother to deliver! Horrible experience, not ordering from here again!

I came in a couple of days ago and have no regrets One of the the best experiences I have had so far in a dessert place thanks to the young girl who greeted me as I walked through the door. She was a lovely little lady who took my order with a smile and prepared it with speed and standard and it tasted great. However, I did notice that she was the only girl in the shop and seemed quite out of place compared to the disruptive young man, who kept trying to distract her, but she kept it professional. Also I couldn’t help but feel sorry for her as the man at the back kept shouting out commands even though she clearly knew what she was doing. This has quite put me off IceKingz as the manager clearly doesn’t have any respect for their workers. Overall she made my experience wonderful.

Have ordered from here many times now, the service is always fantastic along with the quality, preparation, packaging and flavour of the food! I've never enjoyed dessert (ice-cream specifically) as much as I have from here! Really nice staff, fantastic value and just an absolute treat to order from . Strongly recommended and thank you very much for all the great meals!

I've not been in person to IceKingz BUT I have made plenty of orders from them in the past via delivery and I have to say, they are fantastic! Their service is always reliable and they are very friendly, respectful and I really enjoy their products everytime. The Rolling on Ice (especially with the right combinations of course, strawberry, white chocolate and banana at least for me) and Slushes are my particular faves, my mum adores their waffles with the strawberries too and they are always consistent in quality of their products and service. I strongly recommend them, thanks very much!
Karan B — Google review
Quite easily the best dessert I've ever had, and delivered to my door. Exceptional customer service, the lovely chap finished my shakes off at the door with some whipped cream and a few jokes, my waffles were still hot, icecream still frozen. The best part is I didn't have to get out my pj's to enjoy a delicious dessert. X

Ordered the San Sebastián cheesecake and it was not fresh and the staff even admitted it was not fresh and not made today (please ask your staff as he did say this in front of me and my friend) and had no biscuit base and a weird jelly layer at the bottom. The Cheesecake is actually off and doesn’t taste fresh. I’m a returning customer (been over 5 times with guests) and complained about donut before( wasn’t cooked properly, dough was uncooked and outside overcooked), which I didn’t ask for a refund and I didn’t complain after I ate it. The manager also swore which is unprofessional and was rude and didn’t offer any solution and slagged me off in the kitchen where I could hear him. The manager did not show any patience at all and was aggressive. I will never be going back to the store.the manager also told me and my friend to get out of the shop and leave so not sure how the manager actually was patient or showed any customer service. Last time I Checked slagging of customers whilst they are still in the shop or swearing at them wasn’t great customer service or professional behaviour. The cheesecake was off ( I’ve eaten plenty of cheesecakes all around the world so know what’s good or not and this one was by far the worst) The best companies know how to retain customers and create brand loyalty. It’s Ramadan, so I know exactly what occurred and what was said and don’t worry I won’t ever be coming back to your store.

Rolled ice-creams are something that I just love. It could be the theatrics or just the feeling of freshly made ice cream right in front of you. Originating from Thailand, I have been on the lookout for this type of ice cream in Derby and out of the blue we chanced upon Rollin Desserts. Situated in Normanton with coffee-colored interiors and an extensive menu that includes rolled ice creams, milkshakes, donuts and the sorts. We order the Ferrero Rocher rolled ice cream and wait for the theatrics to begin. A Ferrero Rocher, Cream, Hazelnut Syrup with a lot of smashing and spreading and mixing and voila the theatrics ends with perfect rolls of ice cream. There's more hazelnut syrup drizzled on top. Now coming to the taste it is very subtle and tasty with no over powering of the sweetness that just makes it a perfect treat. Definitely wanna visit again to check off more flavors from the menu.

This place has a nice decor but when it comes to quality of food, I was disappointed. Ordered fresh donuts with ice as per recommendation. Donuts were fairly average and ice-cream was not up to the mark either.

Delivered very quickly, delivery driver very polite. Cookie dough was very nice however the waffle tasted a little dry Edit 2021 Adding onto this review as I've since had another take away I ordered the pancake stack which tasted pretty good, and had plenty of Nutella on it, and was overall tasted well The cookie dough this didn't taste that good, felt overly heavy without much taste The ice cream isn't gelato its more of a fresh whipped ice cream and doesn't taste nice The food overall isn't bad neither is it good, somewhere inbetween

They asked me to leave a review so here it is.... 30 quid order hot puddings were cold and all crispy bits were left on the waffles paid for extra kinder ice cream and didn't get it. Milky bar milkshake tasted of chocolate sauce and had crunchy icy bits in. Rang to sort it theyd closed rang the next day and now have to wait for the manager to authorise them fixing it. Very dissapointed.

Dessert City is a delightful haven for dessert lovers, and it certainly lives up to its name! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and friendly team eager to cater to your sweet cravings. The menu boasts an impressive variety of desserts that go beyond the ordinary—think scrumptious cookie dough and mouthwatering waffles that are cooked to perfection. Whether you're dining in or opting for delivery, you can expect your treats to arrive hot and ready to enjoy.
I’ve seen the shop a few times before opening so I was eager to try it out as soon as it opened and it’s safe to say I was definitely not disappointed! There was a great selection of different desserts and the food was amazing I ordered a cookie dough whilst my friend ordered a waffle it came out quick and tasted amazing. The team was super friendly and was able to cater your needs. The lady at the front was super helpful and friendly and we placed an order with her at the till. Would recommend this to anyone with a sweet tooth!
