Freak shake was very nice and the Pudding Pantry has a wide range of options for everyone. No complaints on the food side 👍 Service was quick and efficiency wasn't an issue 👍 Poor hospitality and people skills: The lady with blonde hair and glasses that served me was cold and unfriendly (no warmth at all) and felt uncomfortable ☹️ I will give it another go next time, hopefully this won't happen again. Overall a mixed experience - food was nice, hospitality was poor (especially coming from a Mediterranean culture)

I don’t have a sweet tooth, but reading about the Pancakes with fried buttermilk chicken, that’s interesting! It was delish!! A must try for people who wanna taste the best of both worlds.

We had a great time at Pudding and Pantry! From quiche to macaroons the food was tasty and the service was fast and friendly. We made a reservation in advance and there was no wait.

Food was delicious, we all ready enjoyed everything we ordered and while I don't mind paying for good food, £78 for breakfast was a little bit of a shocker. Pancakes, Turkish eggs and 2 breakfasts with a drink each. I had an iced latte and there was more ice in the glass than actual drink paying I think around £4 for a small drink. The food was as I say lovely but it won't be somewhere we come again due to the price. Sorry

The best veggie breakfast we've had! Quite loud on the saturday morning but still able to have a chat across the table. The staff were so lovely but seemed abit under preasure with the work load. Overall would definetly recommend :)

My first experience of eating at Nottingams The Pudding Pantry. Really lovely decor and love food. I had the pancakes, and others had the fry up. My only gripe would be as a Canadian that the little pot of maple syrup is really not enough for that many pancakes. It got quite busy as we were eating and we had to ask for the milk for the coffee which wasn't great. Also, the music is way too loud. As we were finishing, the chatter and music were quite loud. People have to talk louder over the music. Overall, it is an OK experience, and we will return to try more Lower stars for the loud atmosphere otherwise great 👍🏻

1st time customers - just nipped in for a light bite and a drink. Ended up having a Belgian milk chocolate and a Madagascan vanilla and blueberry milkshakes. The Belgian was tasty and very chocolatey but the Madagascan, although nice, didn’t taste of much. The brunch was really nice - we had the Shakshuka and the Turkish eggs skillet, both came with sourdough bread

Had a wonderful experience at Heavenly Dessert. The place is quiet and clean. Staff is very cooperative especially our server Neha who was very helpful, her recommendation of cookie dough (with a big smile) was spot on!

Food was a bit sweet, but custard mellowed the cake out a good bit. Our wonderful server Ruby helped make the experience an overall amazing one. She was extremely attentive, and very amicable.

Doughnut sthat will definitely satisfy your cravings. Would definitely recommend the more expensive specialty premium doughnuts - it's worth the higher price. The portion size is huge with plenty of fillings. The usual ones are okay but not anything special. Shop is clean with very friendly staff.

Yes, but there's no getting away from the fact that you're spending £4 on one doughnut. However, the doughnuts are delicious and filled to the brim with delicious fillings and toppings. I would rather spend that on one doughnut from this place than a pound on those crap doughnuts from the supermarket that seem to be filled with jam through a pipette. I went on a busy Saturday and the place had a good energy, they had a great variety of doughnuts on offer and were quick to offer advice for those unsure or indecisive. It was great to see that you can also order for delivery through the normal apps.

I don't know, I'm quite disappointed after trying it for second time. I asked for a allergens as a gelatine, which one is veggie which one not and I was told - I don't have alegren sheet. Then I realised myself that each dougnut has a alegrens next to it, bu5 then why the lady selling it didn't inform me of it? Then I was asked - is it okay to bag it and I thought I will be given a bag where is actually safe to store food not thrown in big bag that you normally carry your food. It's a shame but I don't think I will be coming back. I'm not a fan of writing a reviews but what concerns me that you cannot accommodate people with different dietary issues other than 'vegan'.

Really nice selection of Doughnuts and a very friendly young Lady served and was in and out within minutes. Only small thing that lets it down is they need to get paper bags that can hold the boxes of Doughnuts horizontally but thats me being picky.

Just a small doorway leading down to a fantastic coffee and doughnut bar, but a big treat. When we visited half the doughnuts were vegan (nine in total!) and they're spectacular! We had a biscoff, PB J, cinnamon swirl and choc cherry. I honestly don't know how to choose which was best, they're all incredible and very well priced especially as they're a great size. All very, very fresh. I've only given one star less than maximum because they didn't have any non-dairy milk for the coffee although I believe they usually do. For a Saturday morning though that was a shame. It definitely won't put me off coming back again and again though

Lovely place, one dessert is enough to share between two people, unless you have a sweet tooth. It wasn't very busy, when we went on Saturday at 4.00 pm, plenty of seats, and the service was very quick.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! If I could give -100 stars I would Do not ever go to kaspa’s Deserts in Nottingham!! We went to kaspa’s yesterday and we were waiting for an hour for 2 deserts and a drink. When my cookie dough arrived the dish it was in was vile, sticky, dirty and dusty. The plate the dish was on was also dirty. Nat’s desert was also cold. Went noticed all the bananas on the bar were a weird brown, not the typical colour when they are over ripe. Went up to the counter and spoke to a poor excuse of a shift leader who just stood there silently. We said wasn’t happy as it was disgusting and she only refunded the deserts and asked if we wanted something on the house, obviously refused as no way would I eat another thing from that place. We saw the state of the counter where they prepared food, green chopping boards were black, knifes just left on the sideboard. We also watched someone go from the bar into the back and used the hose on potash to rinse his hands before carrying on. Absolutely vile place wouldn’t want my worst enemy to eat here 🤢

Waitress came and said arancini ball flavour I wanted they didn’t have then she came back and said they was all out. So I had to pick something else the apple and cinnamon bun WAS COLD and you couldn’t taste ANY CINNAMON OR APPLE. Bland MUSHY MESS. The slushie drink wasn’t great didn’t get much flavour couldn’t taste the passion fruit. Awful food and service staff are NOT attentive. AVOID.

Place used to pretty good. But gone down hill massively as of late. They’ve never got half the stuff on the menu and the hot food comes out stone cold! For the price you’re paying in here you expect a decent product but that ain’t the case. only decent things they do is the slush and milkshakes but they can be hit and miss. When you do complain about the product, they just go I’ll let them know, but nothing happens or you don’t get compensated for there mess they’ve made So avoid this place and go to a better dessert spot in Nottingham

Popped in as walking past and was surprised to find they have vegan friendly sorbets! A choice of 6 flavours, I had cherry cola and raspberry and it was delicious! My partner had dairy vanilla ice cream and a latte which he said were excellent. The variety and creativity of the flavours is wonderful and we look forward to trying more. The man who served us was lovely and we will definitely be returning!

I bought a large cafe latte with Belgian chocolate and it was hot and is always my favorite they use Notts City Homebrand 200 I have also tried the chocolate ice cream and had the chocolate fudge which is fantastic I love it I sometimes buy the chocolate spoon cake with Belgian chocolate sauce I have to admit this is the best tasting cake I have tried in this area it is very good I paid five pounds for the cake I would say it is worth it for once a week it is a nice place to sit especially in summer the staff are very nice and down to earth their service for customers is very high in my opinion I have not found anything wrong it is a small business it is very chill and deep in the south asian communities in Nottingham so very cultural diversity it is a gem.

I had their pistachio and almond kulfi flavoured ice cream with the waffle cone and I loved it. It was so delicious and amazing. There are so many flavours and I am excited to try many more next time I go 😁

Soft swirl sundae tasted like a Mcfluffy, tasted very "fake". Was claiming the free Soft Swirl for both me and my partner. We downloaded the app and this is the current freebie there. Both of us had the voucher on our accounts, I followed the instructions but when I got to the checkout on my phone the loyalty freebie had disappeared. I showed them this along with my partners phone and explained that I was about to order. Both members of staff said "I must have been before and claimed it" I said 3 times that I have never been to a Creams Cafe before and that there isn't one in my local town... Again they said I must have been before and this isn't my first time going, They then said I could have a free sundae If I left them a review on Google or tripadvsitor... So still they didn't believe me. I was sat waiting for the order to come along and when it arrived I showed them my history on the app which shows when I signed up to the app, when I got the loyalty free sundae and it showed no outgoing purchases/claims etc.... Still they didn't believe me and said that this sundae was on the house and to take it as a treat from them for doing a review "he proceeded to put the review link in front of me". As soon as the app wasn't working I should have took it as a sign as it wasn't great anyway. Why would u go through all that time just to get a freebie??? Even without the above I would have given it a 1 star for the sundae and so would my partner.

We visited Creams Café Nottingham on a busy Sunday and it was still brilliant! Even with the café packed out, the service was quick and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was buzzing — bright, colourful, and full of energy — which made the whole experience even better. The desserts were amazing! We had the Bueno cookie dough (warm, gooey, and packed with flavour), fresh fruit skewers (a lighter option but still really fun), a chocolate brownie sundae (rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious), and a milkshake to top it all off. Everything looked incredible when it arrived, and the portions were very generous. The café itself has plenty of seating and a funky vibe that makes it perfect for groups of friends, dates, or just anyone with a serious sweet tooth. Even though it was busy, we never felt rushed or overlooked. Overall, Creams Café Nottingham is the perfect spot for a treat. Creams was a nice place to stop for dessert after our meal at Turtle Bay. The selection of sweet treats was great, and everything we ordered tasted good. The service was okay—nothing special, but acceptable. However, there was a funny smell inside downstairs where you eat, and the toilets were quite grim upstairs and unclean, which let the experience down a bit.

I went there asking for a cheesecake and this plate came. All the love for the place and staff. Thank you.

Visited last week for desert at around 4:00. It was very quiet but the staff were friendly and very efficient. The cookie dough was really nice and the waffle was great. Portion sizes were big, maybe a bit too big if you're planning to go here after a meal but leftovers can be taken away. I was particularly impressed that you get soft serve ice cream along with a scoop as well. Would recommend the make your own waffle (be mindful of the additional prices) and the white chocolate bueno cookie dough they were both very yummy!

I got a caramel milkshake which cost £8.80 and it was very average. Served in paper cups now. Staff at the till are incredibly rude and dismissive. While I was waiting another customer walked away because it was taking too long. Meanwhile 4 other staff are sitting around at the back socialising rather than looking after customers. Wouldn’t return.

This new cafe on Old Market Square deserves more custom. Coffee is excellent and the gelato/sorbet selection is mouthwatering. A single vegan option which is OK, but not up to the standard of the rest of the produce. Great location, well air-conditioned, and the staff are absolutely lovely. Highly recommended, often quiet, but those who are there tend to be Italians - so the secret won't last for long.

Ordering is somewhat confusing as sometimes you order at the till and sometimes I have ordered at the ice-cream counter. However the ice-cream is delicious and so are other items off the menu such as pancakes. A little expensive but the place is nice and often is a quiet place to sit and chat for a while.

Had a large group of 8 people. Ordered one of every tapas option and 3 of the 4 flatbread options as well. So a great variety of their menu. I can recommend every option from the crispy kale and fennel vegetable options to the varied protein options as well. Great drought and cocktails and all the staff we interacted with were top notch!

So... that was yummy. Me and my daughter went there and we were recieved by very friendly young people. I asked for the tomato and rocket flabread ( it was enough for 2 people) and it was fresh and tasty. We then tried the mussels and squid As the 2 foodie that we are we took our time to eat it was so uniquely tasty ( try it seriously!)At the end a crema catalena and a custard tarte ( both delicious just , as a Portuguese, didn't appreciate the lemony taste in custard tarte). Good expresso.☕️☕️ So satisfied with this experience 💓.

Really, really good service from everyone who looked after us and served us right from the start. The food was also incredible. I was looking forward to trying everything we ordered but it was honestly exceptional - beautifully presented, incredible flavour combinations, nicely proportioned. Churros and salmon with orange were both incredible. The padron peppers were maybe the best we've ever had. I'd say it was really good value for the quality as well. Would love to pop in again in the future.

We didn't have a reservation and we only waited for about 15 minutes for a large table on a busy Sunday evening. The tapas menu was vast from small olive selection to large topped flatbeeads. Delicious! We especially enjoyed the crispy cauliflower and the catalan tomato bread.

Would thoroughly recommend this establishment, the staff are on point and are very aware of the various table arrangements. We sat up at the and it was an unexpected delight, you had a view of the staff snd their jobs and felt intimate but in amongst a busy restaurant. The food and wine was just delicious. We are a pescatarian and meat eating couple, the dishes on either side of the culinary fence were great. Really enjoyed the pickles. Comparing the cauliflower and chicken dishes were interestingly similar. Overall a great night, we will be back again. Thanks to the staff.

Nice atmosphere and good vibes overall. The drinks on the menu were quite meh, personally not a fan of “non-classics” that are overly fruity or juicy. Luckily our bartender was “Cas” who guided our cocktail journey and made us some classics and some special “off menu” items. Recommend asking for a 1910 if you are served by him.

The service was really good and attentive. I had a twister cocktail which tasted exactly like the ice cream lolly. It was incredible. I then followed up with a espresso martini. Again, this was great. It was table service. They are a little pricey but for the ambience, service and cocktails, it's worth it for sure. Very tasty and enjoyable.

Such a great place for delicious drinks! You can choose between three floors which have different vibes (Stockholm is more for dancing, The Blue Rooms is great to chill and chat in a very cosy, warm atmosphere, and The Electric Gardens is perfect to chat and hang out in a nature oriented decor). The cocktails are slightly different between all three venues (although a couple of drinks are available on all three menus). The staff is super friendly. My personal favourite is the Blue Rooms. The cocktails are honestly amazing and well worth the slightly higher prices. Even when a drink isn’t quite what one would go for, they still taste great, perfectly balanced and full of flavour! Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a chilled vibe and delicious drinks.

The vibe felt off as soon as we walked in. Two members of staff looked directly at us while we waited to be seated, but carried on chatting to their colleagues rather than acknowledging us. Eventually, we were seated at the bar, where the barman asked if we’d been given menus (we hadn’t). He then asked a blonde staff member - Alice, I think—to bring us some. She rolled her eyes and did so reluctantly, which we later realised was because her shift was ending. Regardless, that’s not a professional look in front of customers. When my partner placed the menu on the bar, the barman asked us to remove it in a passive-aggressive way. It wasn’t clear why he couldn’t have just moved it himself, but the way he said it came across as unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. The drinks were fine, but overpriced and nothing memorable. The real issue came later: my husband left early, and as he was walking out, a staff member actually chased him down and demanded payment. He tried to explain that I was settling the bill, but was treated as though he was lying and pressured to pay on the spot. He messaged me afterwards to let me know, which meant I didn’t need to pay again but by that point, the damage was done. I left feeling humiliated and unwelcome. The atmosphere was neither friendly nor inclusive, and unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Me and my boyfriend and I recently visited The Alchemist in Nottingham and had a really enjoyable time. The interior is super stylish and atmospheric, with a cool vibe that adds to the whole experience. The toilets were surprisingly nice too — clean and well-kept, which is always appreciated. We tried a variety of small plates; the food was okay overall — decent, but nothing that particularly stood out. However, the drinks menu made up for it. There was a great choice of cocktails, and many of them were really creative and fun to try. The staff were lovely as well — really attentive and friendly throughout our visit, which made the evening even better. We didn't take many pictures. I would definitely return in the future.

Maybe dependent on time of visit. I was 4 30 to 5 30. Atmosphere was comfortable, not buzzing but we changed seats twice. High chairs- feet dangling was uncomfy. Some individual seats too low then and some parts of leather couch sunken in! Only 2 staff at bar and no one took away dirty empties quick enough. Toilets are away n far. Disabled a bit closer than the gents n ladies! Barman also counted money wrong and was gonna over charge us! Menu looked cool but no beaker available for my Light bulb-which was the main reason why I wanted to order it, as it was on the menu pic outside! No service, we had to collect our own drinks even though there was a wait. Sunday platter offer looked great but we weren't hungry. Not sure if i would return, esp during the day but think night time visit might be more fun???

I can't recommend this place enough! The food and drinks were absolutely spot on – everything from the Prawn Lollipops to the Lobster Mac was top-notch. Sarah, our server, was a gem, super attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was just right, making it a perfect evening out. Can't wait to come back!

I visited for a special occasion on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, and while the staff were courteous enough, the service lacked warmth or attentiveness. Unfortunately, the food did little to elevate the experience. The lobster mac & cheese was passable, though hardly memorable, and the £30 steak arrived looking uninspired, offering neither flavour nor finesse to justify its price. The cookies, sadly, were stale and disappointing. The only true highlight of the meal was the churros. They were crispy, indulgent, and by far the most enjoyable part of an otherwise underwhelming dining experience.

Bottomless brunch was good and lots of different fun cocktails included which was great. Service was slow even though we pre-booked however it was a Saturday so have to take that into consideration. Good value for money in my opinion as cocktails here are usually quite expensive by themselves and they were reallt stong. Oyster shots were something different that I've not seen before, would reccomend for girls night!

I was impressed with this Alchemist, particularly the architecture of the building and the sociable seating at the bar. Sitting at the bar suited me and the American tourists who i was chatting to about Nottingham and other tourist spots.

Underwhelming to be honest. Staff were really relaxed and unprofessional. Upon arrival we had to go up to the bar to ask for a table because they were just distracted and chatting behind the bar. They all looked pretty young and this is probably their student job, but come on, I know it’s a Sunday and they probably wanted to go home, but that did make our experience worse. They took ages to come take our order, my boyfriend had to go up to the bar to ask for someone to take our order and even so we were still told to wait. There were only a few tables with people only having drinks, and several members of staff floating about but none seemed to be available to take our order? Fajitas were ok, but nothing special. Chicken was a bit dry and the portion was quite small. There was barely no onions and peppers under the chicken, 🐓 and it was burnt and stuck to the hot plate. Had to scrape the burnt veg off to be able to eat it. And the bad customer service didn’t help. Also a side note, the music was quite loud and made it hard to talk.

Honestly amazing. Absolutely lovely staff and even better food. I definitely would recommend anybody to there for breakfast especially the hot chocolate (I got mine with oat milk and it was amazing). 10/10 Will be coming again. Great experience as a local and you have somebody who is vegan in your party this is still a great place to bring them.

Lovely and busy cafe! Very approachable staff and nice drinks and food! Beautiful design with a lot of different fox accents! High chairs are a little uncomfortable and there was no where else to sit (busy with other customers) so had no choice, but still enjoyed my visit! Had lovely matcha latte and banana bread!

The young man who served us was amazing. I regret that we didn't get his name. He had curly red hair. Very friendly and informative. The wait for food was not long. He made suggestions. The ambiance was cozy and warm. Food was amazing.

What a nice place! Popped in on the search for coffee. Noticed that there was a vegan pate board so goodness knows I had to try that out! Flippin lovely. Such a nice cosy vibe in here too. Service was excellent. Lots of vegan options, and dairy free milk

This café was a delightful find! I stopped in to get some work done and was pleasantly surprised by how reliable and fast the WiFi was – perfect for a productive few hours. The food was absolutely delicious – it had that comforting, home-cooked feel that’s hard to come by in most cafés. Their cappuccino deserves a special mention – rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger. Though the staff were clearly busy, they were still attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the strong food smell inside, likely because the kitchen is open to the seating area. There is outdoor seating, which would’ve been a great alternative, but unfortunately it was too cold and windy on the day I visited. Overall, despite that small drawback, I’d highly recommend this place – whether you're looking to relax, catch up on work, or just enjoy a fantastic meal and coffee.

Just bought a takeaway breakfast. £25 for a sausage sandwich and a full breakfast. Sausage very dry in both cases. Best thing about the full breakfast was the mushrooms. Everything else was ordinary. Had to wait for cutlery. Nice atmosphere and people friendly but clearly not set up for take away. Overall very disappointing for the price!

Came all the way from Luton to visit some friends at uni… food was genuinely so so good. Texture of the chips was deffo a 10/10, very crispy and thin crust but nice and soft and light and airy on the inside. Seasoning was very good on the chips too, nice and flavourful. The lasagna was really nice too, never had lasagna at a restaurant and always thought it would be a bit weird but this was a really good first impression. I had the peach mocktail which was quite sweet but I love peach drinks so it was fine. Coleslaw was decent but I’d say I’d rather it had slightly less carrots and more cabbage. Overall the food was banging and I would recommend, was very surprised. Customer service was pretty good, and the sauces they gave with the food were on the house 🙏 Would recommend for sure, and will go back next time I’m in notts. Sorry but the food was so good we forgot the before photo! First time at Saracens and I treated my son to a meal— they did not disappoint. Freshly made traditional dishes, great variety of drinks and desserts, and top-notch service. The staff were genuinely amazing. Easily a 5⭐+ experience. Great food in a nice setting. The staff were very friendly and the food prices were reasonable but be aware the drinks are quite up there (£5-£8). I had the Biscoff Milkshake and it was very sweet! I also had the meat Lasagna and although very good and a little spicy, the portion could have been slightly larger. Others in my group were also very happy with the food offered! Overall very tasty food for a reasonable price in Nottingham!

Food was on point, Sheesha and atmosphere was perfectly chilled. Big shout out to the team and Sarab in particular for looking after us during our visit. Recommend Pomegranate Frozen Raspberry and Mint flavoured sheesha! Will be back!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and served fresh. What truly made our visit extra special was the excellent service provided by Sarab. He was attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His warm hospitality and professionalism really stood out and made our dining experience memorable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service.

Didn't have lamb even though it said on the menu,served chicken without asking if that was an ok alternative. Only one option of rose wine which was warm. Staff was lovely and helpful I guess but atmosphere was dead. No mints or hot flannel at the end either 😞

It’s centrally located with lots of seating. The staff Serena is very friendly and efficient. Her recommendations were spot on. The mixed grill plater is well prepared, cooked to perfection and very tasty! The curries are well spiced and delicious with the moist briyani rice and freshly prepared naan. They have a shisha place at the back of the restaurant. It’s a Great evening meal and would visit again.

This place is amazing!! Me and my partner have been twice now and the food is brilliant. The grilled meat is the best, so soft and great spices everytime. Very reasonably priced as well - the tawa (big dish in the picture) is only £25!! Even drinks are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Portions are good, we always end up with food left over to take home 🤣

Waitress was more interested in her phone than serving. Took forever to get served, not very attentive at clearing tables, very limited menu, very limited drinks, didn't even know what a Lime and Soda was, asked for Bacardi and coke and 10 mins later I was asked to choose a different drink as didn't have it, so ordered Rum and coke from bar drinks menu instead... go figure. Don't bother, save your money. Food bland, service terrible, toilets flooded so had to use disabled which were disgusting.

14 out of 25 members of our party got food poisoning from the buttermilk chicken! Be warned! So, we recently had our wedding reception here but have also eaten here prior to this. General restaurant (1st floor) is lovely, high ceilings with glass chandeliers and great service. Bar area is on the ground floor and a lovely open space. Events: We held our wedding reception at the cosy club (meal and then evening). Overall, it was perfect! Starting with a really reasonable pricing point for what we wanted and they offered us lots of options to keep the cost as low or high as we wanted. We opted for bacon cobs and fries in the evening which they were more than happy to accommodate. The meal was lovely, we chose on the day from the party menu (again, lots of menu options but we preferred this menu from them all). It was 2-1 cocktails when we arrived, so everyone was naturally straight on this...this did cause some delays in service. My biggest concern through the whole process was communication. Getting in touch with the event planner was extremely hard, emails and no answers. On our actual wedding day it didn't seem like anything that we discussed in the final meeting was then given to staff to work from. Communication definitely needs to be better.

Arrived in Nottingham early, so followed a Google recommendation and visited this beautiful, historic restaurant. The staff were friendly and professional. The seating was comfortable, and the price was reasonable. Ordered a classic breakfast and an oak milk latte. Both were average, okay.

We went there on a Thursday afternoon and it was quite chill. We were easily seated. The menu is satisfying, everything we tried was great and carefully prepared. We really like the cod with caper butter. Prices are fair. Walking in you rightfully think that the star of the show is the beautiful decor, however this place also offers some great and honest food!

Like i stepped back in time. Impressive bar. Had a drink before we went upstairs for the meal. Food was OK. Didn't really think the pulled beef croquette worked. Pasta overcooked. White wine reduction was missing. Under seasoned. Overall quite mushy. The server did her best to look after the whole floor. The place had this smell, which reminded me of an old gallery or museum. 4 🌟

I have been to many cosy clubs and they're all pretty but I have got to say, this one was beautiful! Staff were lovely and helpful too. Food as always was very nice. Always a safe place to go for lunch if you're not sure where to go. Will definitely go back :)

I’m so confused as to why this place has a rating of 4.6 stars. For the ambience of the restaurant I would have expected decent food but the food was either awful or just ..okay.. both steaks on the menu were watery and had blood leaking everywhere on the plate and the feta sandwich looked like something slapped together and not worth its price, they also made it wrong. After sending back the steaks, we ordered the smash burger and linguini expecting the food to be slightly better but the quality of the food was literally Wetherspoon quality. I’m really disappointed in this place. My boyfriend also ended up throwing up when we got home after eating bits of different small plates, the steak and the smash burger so be warned We were expecting a classy way to celebrate a birthday but it was just a disappointment.

Cool space over two floors with lots of different seating options. We sat by the window on the first floor on a Sunday morning. Order by QR is a bit impersonal but the service was efficient and the food really good. Can thoroughly recommend the small English breakfast and the shakshuka- both delicious and would recommend. Will definitely be trying other restaurants in the lounge group

Visiting on a weekday evening it was quiet and we were seen to very quickly. I loved the addition of candles on each table which gave a nice cosier vibe. As with all Lounges, the menu was varied with great choices for dietary requirements. The food was lovely, however I found the dishes not quite as nice as other Lounges I’ve visited, and found the squid tapas a bit dry and tasteless. However, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely return.

The food was amazing. The choice of food is brilliant. They cator for meat eaters and include vegan options. The coffee was great and just what I needed after the weekend I had. We ordered using the online service and the food arrived fairly quickly. The decor and vibe of the place is nice. Great place to meet friends or have a date.

I had the Buddha bowl with chicken. Despite the food being delicious, the portion size of the chicken breast was considerably scarce despite costing an extra £3.45. Had it been served with a whole chicken breast, I would've given 5 stars for food as the flavour was lovely. But 3 small strips of chicken was a bit pathetic. My Mum had the beef brisket. She stated it was the best beef brisket chilli she'd tried so gave it 5 stars. The mulled wine was delicious. No one asked how our food was during our meal and it was difficult to arouse the attention of anyone because the place was busy. The environment and atmosphere was lovely. I love quirky decor. Some of the toilets were dirty and the toilet roll had ran out in 2/3 toilets. Dog friendly place though!

This place is a very comfy and aesthetic place to eat at, plus the food was amazing!! The birria smash burger was fantasing, one of the best burgers I've ever had would 100 percent recommend! My friends enjoyed the chicken burger and birra tacos! However, unfortunately this place doesn't do student discounts so it's not student friendly, as the prices are quite much for student budget. Overall lovely service, aesthetic atmosphere, fantastic food but too steep priced for students! Oh plus a bit stingy with the birra sauce for the burger and tacos, was barely enough to act as a sauce rather than dipping, for the price there should be more sauce quantity!

Had some really good food, the deserts were amazing, and felt relaxed as we caught up with each other. The service was watchful and not overbearing or demanding. All in all a really enjoyable visit and am planning to return when I can pin my friend down to a suitable time

Love Junkyard, being a regular spot we visit for beer. Visited 3rd Jan and decided to have some food there for the first time. Big mistake! We ordered a few small plates, but they forgot the chicken wings. We said we still wanted the wings so they cooked them and brought them out. They must have rushed them, as they were still raw in places! I know meat on the bone can be pink the closer to the bone it is, but there were bloody in places! Thankfully we noticed, spat out the first mouthful and left them. They didn’t smell good either!

Terrific, hidden gem of a craft beer bar. Carefully curated tap selection and a vast array of options in cans and bottles. Interior is tastefully minimalist. Friendly staff as well!

Easily one of the best places to drink in Nottingham city centre. Always a great range of beers on tap (at least 15) plus very well stocked fridges with some great beers from smaller breweries across Europe and beyond. Very friendly service from all staff who know their beers and happy to offer advice and a small taste before you order. Food is great and goes well with the drinks. Outside seating areas (front and rear) for warmer weather and a great atmosphere inside. Definitely worth visiting!

Update: stopped for a quick bite and a beer. We had 3 starters, the lamb kofta, artichoke and halloumi. All were delicious and what trio of food, I recommend trying all three together. I have upped the star rating to 5 now, as the food was delicious and the staff were great. Previous review: Nice spot. We had lovely vegetarian food, and there was a nice looking meaty options to. Always a great selection of beers, so plan plenty of time to try them all. I would definetely come back here.

Was recommended this place by a friend. A great shout. Great atmosphere tucked away in a little nook. Its through a small alley so you might have to pay close attention when finding it. Note for cider drinkers: They sell some in cans, but they have no cider options on tap, HOWEVER they do have fruity sours on tap which I'd say are even better. If you're a cider drinker like me and haven't tried a fruity sour before, go on, get one ere, I bet youll like it. Phwoar

This is a wonderful place anytime we go. Which is fairly often. And when we get it online, which we have done a couple of times on deliveroo now. There's always so much stuff on the menu that sounds so good it's difficult to choose, and they change it occasionally, or have specials. The food has always been tasty whatever we order.

Had a server (Luke) with a terrible attitude or terrible. We could hear the music from the kitchen as well.as the one playing inside the restaurant. The pancakes were everything but Round and tasty. I took a picture but dont see how it can be posted here.

Honestly the atmosphere and service was up to standard however you should NOT spend money where the food is below standard. we ordered the flat bread with hummus, more like naan bread from co-op opposite them with 10g of hummus lightly spread with a butter knife on top of the naan with thin slices of cucumber , cabbage and carrot and breakfast tea. Will not be ordering the “new teams fave” naan bread ever again.

Once again another perfect visit to the pudding pantry!! Loving all the new additions to the menu! I tried the hummus and chicken flatbread this time and it was delish!! The chefs were lovely and cut it up for me so I could breastfeed at the same time! Truly a great experience everytime I come!

Shame today’s visit was not very good at all. I did go here quite often. I had the vegetarian pantry which only comes with 1 sausage compared to to the non vegetarian pantry as they get two, you have to pay an extra £2 for 1 extra sausage, which is a ridiculous fee. They missed off the pot of beans, the hash brown was over fried, also the faux bacon which was hard and impossible to cut.

We love scoops! Loads of space in the generous booths…so much choice it makes your head spin, plentiful portions for when you want to indulge and the Scoops team are always friendly and welcoming!! Some of the decor need a bit lf TLC (shelves behind the counter) and the menu could be streamlined (the toppings are all the same for the different ‘bases’ - would make it easier to decide between ‘crepe’, ‘waffle’, ‘craffle’ and ‘sundaes’ and then pick the flavour combo!). They’re not worth losing a star over though!

Desserts were nice, however the delivery driver was raging at the door because, although he had my mobile number, he knocked on the door 35 mins from ordering, when delivery estimate was 60 mins. We don't have a bell, our lounge is at the back. He flipped the letterbox in front of my daughter, shouting at her on my doorstep and said we had put him out having to go back to the car for his mobile. Really? Isn't that why you ask for a mobile? Daughter, traumatised!

We’ve just had 3 great deserts! Delivered quickly and by a friendly courier! When there was an issue with a missing item - they apologised and delivered within minutes! Great service guys - happy customers over here x

I recently ordered dessert, including two kunefa strawberry pots and a kunefa brownie. Unfortunately, the delivery driver forgot the brownie, which left me a bit disappointed. I reached out to the store to let them know what happened, and the woman I spoke with was very understanding and apologised. She assured me that my brownie would be delivered shortly. To my surprise, it didn't take long for the delivery driver to arrive with not just the brownie but also an extra strawberry pot and cake! Their effort to make things right truly turned my initial frustration into a wonderful experience. I really appreciate how they went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. It’s safe to say I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you to the delivery driver for your kindness, and the desserts were absolutely delicious!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience at Scoops was so bad, I honestly feel people need to be warned. I brought my cousin here for his birthday—he was so excited to try their desserts, but the whole thing turned into a complete disaster. He ordered the Konafa Waffle, and I got the Kinder Waffle. Both were absolutely awful. The waffles tasted extremely eggy, almost like the batter was off. The Konafa Waffle was dry, lacked flavor, and had barely any chocolate on it. My Kinder Waffle was the same story—hardly any Kinder chocolate, no sweetness, just a weird eggy flavor. We also ordered ice cream, which tasted cheap, icy, and artificial. And the milkcake? Easily one of the worst I’ve ever had—not fresh at all, with a weird texture like it had been sitting in the fridge too long. This was supposed to be a special birthday treat from me to my cousin, but instead he ended up feeling sick afterwards. I was genuinely embarrassed and disappointed. If I had the option to give zero stars, I absolutely would. For a place that specializes in desserts, everything was just wrong. Never again.

Traveled back to the sneinton area and thought to grab a dessert from Scoops. Ferrer rocher Waffle 11/10 for me on that one! Really nice atmosphere- Kids loved the gelato Generally pick the blue bubblegum flavour great staff and nice environment hence the 5* Definitely coming back here again WOULD RECOMMEND 👍🏼

Absolutely delicious! I've had pancakes in many other places but no where comes as close to the taste of B Sweet pancakes- fluffy and yum! Drinks were refreshing and tasteful! Highly recommend! Not to miss out the lovely interior decor!

My experience here was great. Food was fantastic, service was on par and the ambience is amazing. I had the breakfast option 6 which was two poached eggs over thin smoked salmon (Lox) on sourdough covered in hollandaise sauces with a side salad. It's a sweet place so I hade try desert and of course I did, a slice of red velvet cake. It was really good. The tea was flavorful and plentiful. Loved the serving pot, cup and milk holder. The service was polite and friendly. I talked to Gino the owner for a bit and had a nice conversation. All the other staff was on point with what I'd consider good service. They have what I think was a grey parrot in the entry room. They have a large upstairs seating area with an area for kids. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes good taste treats and food.

We visited today whilst on holiday from Cornwall and we were over the moon with our find. This shop had it all, a lovely friendly atmosphere with a great service. The food was incredible with so much selection we can't wait to return and make our way through the amazing menu!!!

Easy to get too. Central town. A really well thoughtover place. Nice detail with the colours and flowers. The decor and interior is very pretty. Its different to the dessert places around that area. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They have great customer services. Very interactive. Lots of space to sit. There is a creche area too. Its nice and clean. Good vegan choice. Seen the strawberry icecream made healthy and vegan. Can tell its fresh and healthy. Didnt taste processessed or made of sugar. For a while now we have been regulars and we have never been disappointed! Making our way down the food and hot chocolate menu it has always been a delicacy we have been honoured to try nearly weekly! The staff are absolutely amazing and Grace the bird adds so much character to the already homely decor to make you feel more than comfortable in a bustling town centre. I would 100% recommend and you will not be disappointed

Delicious bagels and pancakes and lovely looking cafe. Only complaint is that the service was very slow when we visited and a few people were complaining about it. It was a Saturday and busy so perhaps just needed some more kitchen staff in.

The photo says it all… I’ve never been in a pub before that won’t let you taste a sip of what they have to offer… I’ve been in many castle rock pubs and never been refused a trial of a beer. Disappointing

This pub used to be a rub down scruffy pub with a bad reputation, well done to Castle Rock for turning it around. It's in an area with quite a few good ale pubs which would make it an excellent pub crawl.

Good pub with a decent selection of keg and cask. Beers can be a little pricey here though. The kitchen sells mostly fried chicken and chips and it's very good. Plenty of seats outside although it is close to the main road.

Just went for the quiz, which was challenging but fun. Drinks were decent. A pleasant time 😊

Great place, definitely a pub rather than a bar, however it's light and airy not dark and 'traditional'. Plenty of seating, with almost as much outside as inside, perfect for summer. Excellent range of beers, cask, keg, and a fridge full of cans and bottles including some specialist beers for the dedicated...e.g. Buxton Yellow Belly. Food looked great, the Flatbread and humus was awesome, bonus points for Sauce Shop sauces. It's located around the corner from Neon Raptor tap room so be sure to visit here if you're planning a visit to Neon Raptor.

Great place for a good pint. Service is always welcoming and the selection of beers, both cask and keg, is great. Haven't eaten here yet.

Called in last night with a mixed age group of 20 friends,ranging from age 20ish to 65ish and all decent people,having an annual catch-up. We were made so unwelcome from the moment we stepped through the door,by the barmaid with the dodgy tattoos and the little barman. This must be the most unfriendly pub in Nottingham and I've been in plenty over the last 40 plus years. The bar staff were so rude and told us 'we were blocking the entrance/fire exit' we wasn't. When we moved over a little,we were then told' we had split the pub in half and people couldn't pass' utter rubbish as people were freely walking past as the dodgy tattooed barmaid and little man was actually telling us they couldn't. We must have spent over a £100 on our 1st round of drinks and that's the way we were treated. Obviously,they can afford to make customers so unwelcome that we don't buy another round and walk out. In over 40 years of drinking in Notts.....I've never experienced such rude and unfriendly bar staff. I would recommend....if you're looking for a good time,avoid this place at all costs and spend your money in a much more deserving establishment,where you'll actually be made welcome.

Always have a great selection of drinks. If you are inclined towards a good alcoholic beverage, then this is a must whilst in Nottingham. I always pay a visit when I'm in town due to its great atmosphere, excellent drink selection, and good facilities. Special mention to the terrace up top which is somehow always comfortable come sun, rain, warm , or cold. Also, I am really grateful to Joel today for the brilliant service, communication, and knowledge he demonstrated.

Decent enough. Layout is a little naff but perhaps that's just me. Nice rooftop seating and overall a massive improvement on what was here before. Fairly new place so hope this establishment continues to get better. Great selection of ales but a little on the pricey side. Dogs allowed which can often get too much to be honest.

My friend booked this as a gift for me and booked in a time slot, although when we arrived then it was shut! Thankfully someone from the restaurant next door was outside and was kind enough to see if they could see anyone, I had tried calling but there was no answer, when someone finally came down we were told the booking times were wrong in Groupon and they didn't open yet and were asked to come back when they opened, so we did, when we returned there was no real apologies just that they keep telling Groupon but surly they had seen we had booked and could of contacted my friend? But they said it was a last minute booking? She'd booked it the week before. Anyway once seated we were quickly served and everything was delicious! Although my friend asked for a mint tea and was charged £3! Which we thought was rather steep!!

Fantastic place. Been here a while back But was in the evening and I have now visited during the day for an afternoon tea as a birthday treat from a friend. It was a perfect afternoon. Staff were lovely and the food was beautiful. Will be bringing my mum here for her birthday treat.

Very disappointed! I ordered an old fashioned but what arrived was insipid and dull not the interesting and complex drink I'd expected. It was barely possible to taste the bourbon and in making they had tried burning the orange which left a black scum on the surface of the drink. This can be a great drink but done this way was bad bad bad. I think there was too much focus on the theatrics and premixing with ice while being made watered it down badly. A case of style over substance.

They'd have had a higher chance of 5 stars if the food had come on plates. The decor is quirky but well done. The food and service is good.

Delicious oat milk latte with hazelnut syrup. Only downside is the location, great for a walk in good weather, but not particularly convenient to get there by car if you want coffee in a hurry. Nearest parking is a 15-20 minute walk away.

Beautiful grub, great coffee and a view you won't forget. Outdoor seating, dog friendly. It's the perfect place to go and watch the ducks and Bexs is top notch, always happy and friendly. defo recommend the ice cream

It does what it says on the tin! Fiercely independent and great coffee! The pink palace at Colwick is a gem of a place and the perfect pit stop on a weekend walk! Coffee is fab, breakfast bar delicious, service always incredible and the vibe is spot on. The community it has created and added sunshine just compliment what Wired on Wheels already have to offer. A trip to colwick park isn’t complete without a visit to wired on wheels. We love it! My two children adore their hot chocs in the winter months, ice creams in the summer and fantastic coffee all year round for me 😊

Feels like a slightly higher quality cross between a greasy spoon cafe and a coffee shop. Better breakfast than most cafes, but I'm still unsure if it warrants the higher price. Very average in other regards. No free coffee with a full English! For shame!

Very average, staff couldn’t cope with how busy it was. Toasted banana loaf with butter wasn’t toasted and didn’t have butter on and didn’t taste of bananas either. It was too busy to complain. Sandwiches and salad also just average.

Went for a Saturday brunch and there was a was a good selection of items on the menu. Staff were friendly and the interior was pleasant. It was a shame that the food wasn’t particularly enjoyable. The scrambled eggs on toast had too much butter all-round. Similarly the bacon sandwich was lacking in bacon compared to the size of the bread. Also the entrance door was permanently open which created quite a cold draught.

Homemade is a lovely little cafe situated in the heart of Lace Market. It would be so easy to accidentally walk past this unassuming little place and never discover the absolute gem inside! It provides wonderful meals, from a hearty stew to a simple sandwich you can order at the deli counter. The homemade brownies and cakes aren't to be missed either. If I were to name one downside it would be the lack of seating space, but if you're willing to wait or share a table then you are guaranteed a fantastic dining experience in a cozy, welcoming environment!

One of my favorite places to got for lunch in Nottingham - although it tends to get busy (good sign!) you never wait too long for food to arrive, and in my experience the quality has always been outstanding (I mostly go for sandwiches). Great milkshakes too.

I am an amateur baker, and the lemon and raspberry cake from this place was one of the best cakes I've ever eaten; I savoured every mouthful. The brownie was very good, also. Can't really comment on other aspects, as I got a takeaway. I will be going back.

Lovely little cafe however cramped now that the new seating has been put in. Advertises as family friendly but you’d be hard pushed to get more than one pushchair inside. There were no other customers when we arrived so quick table service. Echoing what several other reviews have said - it’s expensive for what you get, especially the size of the coffees!

My experience with The Besston Brownie Company was delightful. Their attention to detail in packaging ensured freshness, while the flavors were tasty too. Among my favorites were the classic plain and indulgent triple chocolate brownies, which never failed to impress. However, the orange flavor, while not my preference due to personal taste, was still of high quality. My only critique would be the white sugar dusting on the orange brownie, which I found unnecessary. Overall, highly recommended for brownie lovers.

Brought a selection of Brownies and Blondies today - just had the Biscof Blondie and it was really nice - beautiful texture and not too heavy.Will definitely be ordering a mixed box soon.

Unfortunately, after letting my grandson choose which design to have, the gingerbread reindeer biscuits arrived smashed to pieces and we couldn't even assemble 1 complete reindeer. Which was a shame as I then had a very disappointed 6yr old 😕

Reindeer biscuit kit was delivered with the biscuits broken and unable to assemble. Although it was 50% off at£6 there is not £6 worth of biscuits. Definitely wouldn’t pay the full price of £12 broken or not.

Received a brunch voucher from friends, last times visit was a year ago. totally different feeling while walk in. . More than 10 tables with customers, but only one waiter & a Barista , very friendly & warm services, so feel ok . When ours “Breakfast “ serve on table , feel shock .. coz voucher show original price for this two set of meals cost £32++ .. we just can said so so simple and .. … .. maybe will return for tea & cakes ( take away ) , cappuccino also bland & tasteless . Coffee and cake are very tasty. Unfortunately, the place looks very run down. Holes in the seats. Falling apart menu. Tables dirty. It's a pity that such a nice place with good coffee and cakes is so neglected. The place needs renovation and refreshment.

Not the perfectly kept place but reasonably well in order and top notch where it counts: pastries. Nice crunchyness in the millefeuille (with curds, interestingly), and the mango cake has a good tartness. Blueberry lemon could use some more intense lemon taste, maybe from some peel. Solid coffee. I didn't try the sandwiches, maybe that's where the low scores came from. Service wasn't super attentive but ok. Come for the great pastries!

Giving this a 4 star as we were given a replacement drink.... Arrived to claim a free birthday cake and also a tea for 2 with scones. I ordered tea and my mum ordered a latte. As soon as the tea arrived the cup was dirty. I wiped this out with a tissue I had, however when I poured the milk it floated to the top which means it's gone off. We took this back to the counter and they gave us another latte instead. The scones were nice and warm and they were very nice. The cake we got for free as it was my birthday we had in as well which was also very nice. Lots of cake options which say if they are vegetarian or not. Wouldn't pay the amount it cost for one though, especially the eclairs which were £4.20-£4.50

Had afternoon tea here today. What a lovely place. The girl at the front of house had the sweetest of smiles, and is absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our tea, very fresh sandwiches, warm scones, and top class coffee. It's a very atmospheric place, with easy listening back ground music. We will definitely visit here again.

Really welcoming friendly staff, made sure our table was clean and were very attentive during our visit. We had a cream tea for two which was really good value and tasted great. Huge choice of drinks too which is a lot better than some competitors.

I have been looking forward to come to the shop for so long, this is the first time going and it really disappointed me with the service I was receiving. The girl behind then counter's attitude was too rude, got ignored and doesn't feel welcome at all. I walked into the shop not knowing how the dine-in works and thought we could grab the cake from the fridge on the right and order a coffee at the counter to eat with the cake, walked to the counter and ask if we can also have these cake to eat in and the server was so rude, rolled her eyes at us and said 'they only take-away', so I ask 'if you only serve hot food with coffee for dine in' and she said 'yes'. Then after purchasing the take-away cake, we grab the menu on the side and it clearly said 'coffee with dessert', then she mentioned about 'they do coffee with any cakes on this fridge for 6.50' after we paid for the cake and clearly knowing that we wanted to dine-in... So the atmostphere is so unwelcoming.

The cream icing on the cupcakes were terrible and sour. All my guests hated them. However the cream filling on the cheesecake and carrot cake tasted different and was edible. Overall not impressed with the quality but you get what you pay for. M&S or Sainsburys cakes next time

Doing eat out to help out but not on cheesecake...you know the thing people actually go there for. Ok we will have a drink and move on... Ask for a mocha and leave. Once cool enough to drink think oh this is just coffee get to the bottom and nope it's a mocha. That the barista couldn't be bothered to make properly. EOTHO is supposed to encourage you back to local places. But in this case its encouraged me to never go back.

Ordered the Strawberry Fields as a surprise birthday cake for my husband who loves all things strawberry and he's given it his seal of approval! Having never tried this shop before, I was a bit apprehensive but I definitely don't regret my decision! The cake had the right balance of sweetness and freshness - absolutely melt-in-the-mouth delicious. I think you have a repeat customer on your hands here (there are a few other things on your menu that have caught my eye)! Although I definitely WON'T be using the third party delivery service again because the cake arrived looking very sad, and i'm pretty sure it wouldn't have left the shop looking like that. So please, tell the delivery guys to give it some TLC, I'm sure customers would rather have a cake arrive late in perfect condition than it arriving sooner but compromised.

I travel here especially to buy my various cakes etc and highly recommend this establishment. My only minor complaint is that I’ve asked regularly for a menu to take home with me but sadly this has never occurred. Because of this I decided to screenshot one online only to be astounded at seeing numerous pictures but NO price list? I feel that they are missing a valuable opportunity here and would recommend they do so especially if individuals have difficulties getting out etc. Otherwise EXCELLENT!

Well, what can I say, ordered a cake fir my husbands birthday. I wanted a specific cake, a strawberry fields tort, I've had one before it was delicious, so wanted the same. When ordering I was specific about what I wanted, chocolate sprinkles around the edge & a strawberry sauce on top. Whent to pick up the cake, nothing like what I'd had before. When I argued this point, I was informed buy the assistant that all cakes were decorated definitely. What a load of rubbish. The customer should get what they ordered if you whent to buy a car & you ordered a BMW & they offered you a Ford whould you be happy. I know its only a cake, but come on , just let the customer have what they ordered please 😡😡😠

The most amazing cheesecakes as well as other types of cakes and such. I have not tried anything I didn't like. Only reason for four and not five stars is that I ordered online, selected a pick up time for the next day and my order had been cancelled. I was never notified. I was able to get the same cake but it wasn't personalised sadly.

This is an incredible find - a hidden gem; we were thoroughly impressed by our visit today. All of the chocolate is made on site and sourced from some of the finest cocoa regions of the world. The team were really friendly and service was really quick. We tried the chocolate tasting platter and the mini afternoon tea. The variety of chocolate options were great and each taste was superb. We also enjoyed the array of loose leaf teas and saw there were good coffee options too. We will most certainly return and have already invited our family and friends to join us! Large amount of on site parking and fairly easy to reach, with a farm shop next door too! Lovely setting in a modern eco friendly building too!

Food and drinks were excellent. Service was terrible, first two drinks arrived then the third arrived with the food 20/25mins later, wasn't even that busy..the young girl was blaming it on being fathers day.. We will be back though and hopefully that was a one off..

Its a fab cafe having a speciality being a chocolateries also. It adds an extra dimension to the café experience. On our visit the staff were really friendly and welcoming with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor. It’s a bright, modern and a very clean cafe with toilets of a high standard. The decafe tea was supplied as tea leaves served in a tea pot, with nice China cups and saucers. The hot chocolate drinks were excellent. The quiche meals were very nice and came with a portion of salad and coleslaw. Portion size was for a medium size meal. The service was quite slow after we had received our main course. I needed to ask twice to order desserts. All the staff seemed to have disappeared for a while. Two other customers did not know orders were taken at the table, and actually went up to the counter to try to order. We sat at the table opposite the door which made it a little drafty. It is shielded with plants and the door does have a weight on it to auto close (very slowly), but did make the two hours were there a little cold for me. By the time I got my dessert my tea was cold. I didn’t bother ordering another tea by that stage. The chocolate pieces and chocolate cake were lovely, but the caramel shortbread was slightly over baked. Overall a nice experience. Will be happy to try them again, after trying the cafe down the road next.

Wonderful chocolate experience in a lovely place. The farm setting is beautiful and the view is beautiful. The hot chocolate drink and truffles are delicious and I loved the chilli and lime chocolates. A great gift if you can resist them before you get home!

Haven't been here for about a year now. The last time I went here, I wanted to treat myself. Bought a rainbow cake and a coffee, sat inside and was enjoying it, but the staff member was cleaning around me and packing everything away and bringing in furniture from outside. I've never felt so unwelcome here before and haven't been here since as I'm so put off. This place used to be so good! The food is nice but the staff couldn't wait to get rid of the customers!! If I wasn't able to eat in, you should have said so. There are better alternatives locally these days. :)

Service not like what it used to be. Very dissapointed. Felt like I was getting the cold shoulder staff member wouldn’t really talk to me and was blunt when I was asking questions. It was near closing time but felt like they couldn’t wait to get rid of me. I was very thankful and voiced this too with no response but an awkward look… customer service needs work! Cheesecakes are nice, will be Trying another store in future.

I’ve tired the tiger nut bar and the passion fruit and white chocolate. I have also had a box of chocolates. I can honestly say so delicious!!!! The tiger bar is so creamy and amazing genuinely the best vegan chocolate I’ve tried. The box of chocolates had an amazing range with dark, milk and white. The owner is such a lovely lady super informative and very passionate about making sure everything is ethically sourced. Took the time to chat to us and explain the process. I will definitely be going back

Lovely experience in this shop even though i didn’t buy anything this time. Luisa was so lovely and explained all the processes of the chocolate making and how everything is sourced and the reason behind it which was very informative. We were able to try some of the tigernut chocolate and the Peruvian 72% they were both so good and i was so surprised they were vegan, overall great experience would come again to buy some chocolate

Went there for the first time last week with friends. Luisa is friendly and explained all the beans are roasted in the shop, the beans are sourced direct from.the farmers and farmers get paid much more than they would be by big corporations. I love dark chocolate so tried a few and loved them all, they all have a distinct taste. They are high quality and there are very few ingredients, which is what you want. The dairy alternatives also tasted brilliant. Even the packaging is awesome. My husband tried an ice cream which he loved. Totally recommended.

Finally was able to pop in and visit Luisa’s and sample their delicious chocolates. The staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming and the passion for their chocolate craft was clear. I opted for several bars, a mix of white and milk chocolate. All absolutely delicious, but for me the white chocolate was my favourite, particularly the passion fruit 😋

If you like delicious ethically sourced chocolate look no further! Luisa’s chocolates are excellent and we keep on coming back. My family and I aren’t vegan but just love tasty chocolate and these definitely fit the bill. They might be more of a premium product but with cocoa prices up everywhere these are definitely worth it.

Went in on a whim and had a brilliant experience at Luisa’s. We bought a few bars of dark chocolate and an ice cream Sunday, all of which were delicious. The service was friendly and helpful without being pushy. I will definitely return around Christmas time, as this is an ideal place to buy unique chocolatey gifts!

Visiting from Canada and was so excited to find a vegan chocolate store with such thoughful ingredients and gluten free. Luisa was so kind and shared samples with me as well as telling me all about the wonderful chocolate and the few ingredients used. The minute you step in the shop, you start salivating because all of it is made in house! Super impressed and wish I could bring an entire suitcase home. Luisa's chocolates needs to be an international sensation so I can have it all the time. Thanks so much for the incredible chocolate!

Initially I wondered if I am paying a bit more than usual for the breakfast, but then when it came out I was like, worth every pence and in fact more. Amazing place, the owner is really sweet and offered tea without any cost. If you would like to have authentic Turkish breakfast in this COVID era, just come here instead of flying to Turkey.

Was waiting for the new breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. Really good range of items and especially cheeses. The different types of bread are all nice and the Turkish tea is always great. Omar always gives brilliant service, you feel like a guest in his home.

Delicious Turkish breakfast and simit are available here; I recommend accompanying it with a coffee and cherry juice. The cakes here are beautiful and the baklava is very tasty too, living up to its name.

Marvellous taste for a diverse collection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sweets. One of the best places to have an experience with baklava and other traditional sweets.

A lovely clean place which serves a wonderful Turkish breakfast, börek is amazing, cakes are devine and fresh Baklava! It's like spending a morning in Istanbul, well done guys!!!

Only visited once but they serve absolutely delicious pastry and cake, lovely decor and atmosphere, friendly staff and prompt service, great value for such high end bakes, can’t wait to visit again and get a sandwich with the house made focaccia, a great addition to the city food scene. We shared a couple of cakes that came to just £10, and left feeling very full and happy, for such a small cost, fantastic place. We ordered a pistachio tart, which had a chocolate pastry base, chocolate ganache, pistachio cream and covered in pistachio nibs, every single element of this dessert was top class, the ganache was rich, the cm was light, the pastry was flavoursome and like a sable biscuit, incredible value at just £5.50 for sit in prices. The amandine was a triple layer chocolate cake square, with chocolate cream cheese filling, and covered with chocolate ganache, the sponge was soft and fresh, the filling was luxurious, and the Belgian chocolate in the ganache really came through and everything tasted great, can’t recommend highly enough!

This is just one of those places that proves if you pay a little bit more sometimes what you get in return is several orders of magnitude better than if you hadn’t. The croissant filled with pistachio cream that I had as part of my ‘market research’ was quite possibly the most delicious thing I had ever tasted. The cake that I ordered for my wife’s birthday was delivered exactly on time and as requested, a chocolate with raspberry jam sponge, so light that I could almost have taken it home floating above my head on a piece of string. And don’t think that chocolate and raspberry sounds a bit simple. That’s exactly what I asked for. Sometimes the simplest things done well are the best. The top of the cake was absolutely plastered with chocolates and a small Jack Daniel‘s bottle which was probably the least tasty thing of the entire cake. The staff are mega friendly, professional and clearly proud of what they do, and so they should be. All those “good quality“ patisseries and bakeries should hang their heads in shame. I took a punt on having a coffee as well, making the potentially dangerous assumption that just because they bake beautiful cakes they could do good coffee. I wasn’t disappointed. The people who run this place seem to come from some alien cake-world and thankfully they have set up a small settlement near Nottingham railway station.

We have used Rotari Bakes almost from the beginning for our Saturday Chicken Ciabatta lunch then returning later for our coffee and cake treat, of which we have exhausted the whole menu, returning to a personal favourite Amandine cake. It has become so popular now, that for weeks after their latest reburbishment/expansion, we could not get in, every table full, so much so, we now have to reserve a table!! My husband retired yesterday and you will see in my photo, Rotari Bakes did not let us down with a small 4" cake, having 2 large pieces each. We chose a lemon filling, which was delish. The communication via their website was prompt and efficient. The detail is amazing, popping 2 books on top of the cake, and a Liverpool FC theme. Thank you. Susie and Martin xx

Absolutely awful! Ordered white cookie dough with white choc sauce and strawberries and it came looking like sick. The crepe was rock hard way over cooked strawberries all over the place. Cornflake tart ordered no custard. All cold and not worth eating 👎🏻 rang the shop said there's nothing they can do. Terrible

Ordered via UberEats, they sent the wrong waffle (ordered oh so fruity but got a waffle with a few blueberries and mouldy strawberries), ordered a snickers milkshake with a half a bar of snickers sat at the bottom of the cup unblended. Ordered a mango smoothie, received half a cup of it with no mango in it just a mouldy banana taste that looked like vomit with a yellowy pinkish colour. Will not be wasting my money on this place again. Edit following response: I did contact yourselves and the response was poor customer service and deflecting blame. Like I said, will not be wasting my money here again as you have clearly added lying to your menu too. The smoothie was sipped in the photo, but it had arrived as half a cup- still paid for and still was tasted I never denied that. As a family we do not leave reviews as a first resort, only in rare cases and if the service and food is very poor to warn others. Maybe look into the definition of misrepresentation vs customer experience.

Absolutely loved my experience at Aroma Desserts in Nottingham! The place has a really cozy and welcoming vibe, and the desserts are on another level. I tried the waffle with strawberries and Nutella – it was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The milkshakes are super rich and creamy too. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Definitely a new go-to spot for when I’m craving something sweet. Highly recommend!

Quaint dessert place best for ordering at home. I came after a night out about 1030pm and walked in to order a pistachio milk cake. Initially the server thought I was a delivery driver (allowable mistake as I had a bag with me). It took a while to explain I wasn't and that I wanted a fresh order milk cake which I finally got. This took over 25 mins due to dealing with online orders. The server kept apologising but it still took a while. He kept apologising and finally gave my order saying he was putting extra milk in for the delay. I took it home as eating there was not a nice option given tight space and very noisy door. The milk cake was nice but was surprised to find I had the pistachio kunaffe milk cake - not what I ordered as that is a separate item and I didn't find much milk left by the time I was home. It tasted nice but I wouldn't order as a walk in again and still unsure if I will give it another go. Other reviews more positive so gave a 3. I'd say a 3.5 if I could do halves.

Fantastic desert venue! We stumbled across it on the way back from Goose fair, as we both fancied a sweet treat. Was met by excellent service and great owners. We only wanted one waffle to share and they were happy to split the toppings down the middle so we both got what we wanted! Superb!

Quality of the ice cream ect is very good and well worth a visit. Only small issue is the wait time was a bit long and it wasn't very busy. The guy working is doing his best but he only has one set of hands and needs a bit of help.

AMAZING underrated dessert shop!! Such amazing workers (shout out to the lovely lady working today, she was super lovley, kind and a picture perfect worker! Super affordable, with a student discount and the portions are very generous.

I recently visited. Friendly lady said they are under renovation but shop is still open. I ordered a stick waffle which was smaller than i thought but the price was also cheaper than i thought. She freshly made the waffle from ingredients in front of me which was very nice. Overall, it was a great experience.

I had an amazing time at Aroma Desert! The atmosphere was cozy, the presentation of the desserts was beautiful, and everything tasted just as good as it looked. A special shoutout to Maha, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her warm attitude and helpful suggestions really stood out—excellent customer service that made me want to come back again soon.

The ice cream was soooo nice! I had pistachio and chocolate+ kinder bueno. So tasty. The staff was very friendly especially one guy who was happy to talk about this fantastic idea of a business. Try to pay in cash to support youngsters and local businesses.

We popped along to grab the kids some desserts after seeing adverts on Facebook. It’s a really lovely little shop and the owners are so friendly. We ordered some of the ice cream rolls and it was really good watching them being made. They were absolutely gorgeous, and we will definitely be back! Such a great little shop! 🥰

I absolutely loved my experience at Big Rollerz! The Pistachio and chocolate Ice Cream rolls were a delightful treat – easily the best I've ever had. This hidden gem in Nottingham exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking unique desserts.

Can never go wrong with this place. Passion fruit mint mojito was beautiful 😋. Have to give it to these guys. Paired along with a couple of strawberry oreo rolls. Midnight dessert sorted !!!

It is that good that we went 2 days in a row. Cookie dough is delicious, warm, creamy and crunchy. Just how we like it. The rolled Ice cream is amazing too, the best tasting we’ve ever tried - this is the only place we can find Ice Cream Rolls in Nottingham now! (we tried the Strawbreo and Pistachio and Belgian chocolate). We also ordered a Ferrero Rocher milkshake, it was really thick and full of ferrero flavour - not milky like some other places. We were surprised by the service being such a high standard coming from a dessert place, on our first visit the owner even threw in a free waffle for us to try! Employees were very polite and friendly. The place is small yet perfect for a quick pick up. Totally recommend if you want to try a great dessert.
