This gem of a cafe is always welcoming. The food is excellent. Today I had a mushroom croissant, which was creamy and delicious - served with a small side salad. There’s so much choice for vegetarians as well as meateaters. The patisserie looks amazing, but I’d need a second stomach to do them any justice!

Always a treat to step into this shop. A vision and as nice as a trip to France!

Oh well, what can I say. What a place! Such a little gem. We visited Knowle on our way home from a national trust house. Feeling pretty peckish we found this little gem. The huge meringues in the window drew us in and then we realised there was a restaurant at the back. We were quickly approached and seated. Our waitress was lovely. After struggling to decide which course to choose (the menu offers so many delicious options)I went for the aubergine parmigiana. OH MY GOODNESS. This has to be one of the best meals I’ve eaten in my life. So simple and served with delicious bread, it was divine and so flavoursome. My partners lasagne was gorgeous too. Hats off to the chef! The cakes and treats in the shop were beautiful too. Such an authentic place, with a lovely vibe and feel. Very busy so a popular haunt I think! We may have taken dessert away with us! Thanks for a memorable visit.

It was my first time trying Artisan Bakery today. It is a nice little bakery, and it was very busy. However, we were seated very quickly. The food took a long time to come but it was very well presented and quite tasty. I would return back again !

We had an excellent time at bread collection. The staff were all attentive, kind and professional. We tried the quiche which was delicious! The flavour combinations were divine. We also tried plenty of their sweet treats which were all expertly crafted and absolutely divine. We will definitely be back!

The cake was absolutely delicious! It was soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty treat!

Our experience with this establishment was profoundly disappointing. The cake we purchased was not only stale and unpleasantly odorous, but of such poor quality that it quite ruined our daughter’s birthday celebration. A cake ought to be the centrepiece of joy on such an occasion; instead, this one became a source of embarrassment and regret. It is difficult to overstate the importance of freshness, care, and pride in a baker’s craft. On this occasion, those qualities were sadly absent. I would strongly caution others to think carefully before entrusting such special moments to this shop.

I tried the Original chocolate chunk NYC Cookie here. It was very nice.It had a soft chewy center just how I like it.It tasted fresh and was served warm,which made it even better

I came in here this afternoon as I had to be somewhere and it meant waiting a while however it was pouring with rain, very cold and it was nice to get out the cold. I couldn't order anything to eat due to many food allergies but I had a lovely chamomile tea, the lady serving me was so lovely, I had a nice chat with another customer whilst being in here and the purple cake on display which I think was a princess castle was incredible! I think I may of found my favourite new little cafe but perhaps have some dairy free options too!

we ordered football cake however it was extremely disappointing cream coloured was blue but it was leaving permanent blue colour marks on skin lips and whatever touch with that cream if you talk about taste it was extremely bad. In short very bad experience and waste of money

The Egg Free Cake Box in Acocks Green does a range of gorgeous, special occasion cakes and smaller cakes that people can enjoy. The cakes range from chocolate, to Victoria sponge, to fruit cake and gateau slices and all sorts of wonderful and tasty treats. Size wise, you can buy large slices, or buy cakes from 8" to 27", catering for various occasions and numbers. I've bought birthday cakes for my family in the past, and they've all gone down so well with my family, who love the cakes so much too and loved having them on their birthdays. The staff are friendly, efficient, provide great customer service, and greet everyone with a smile. I definitely recommend buying one of their cakes- absolutely gorgeous and so delicious too, with a wide variety of cakes of various sizes to choose from too.

Went to Dolce for the first time tonight, open late which is great. We were served by Javed, whose hospitality was first class ( deserves that bonus!!) All desserts were well made, fresh and delicious.

As a visitor from Glasgow and trying numerous dessert places in Birmingham this was undoubtedly thee best. Milk cakes are light and full of flavour. Outstanding service from Javed, greeted on arrival, helped with the menu & all round lovely guy, fantastic customer service. Will definitely return when back in Birmingham.

Visited with 14 family members. Javid was very lovely and accommodating for the whole family as soon as we walked in her began blowing balloons for the children. The desserts was perfectly presented, cooked and tasted divine. If you’re in the area I would definitely recommend you popping in. Better than corporate chains like creams or treats, support local businesses!

San Sebastián cheesecake with chocolate, ufff, too good, couldn’t even wait to take a whole picture! Kunafa and chocolate strawberries were quality, fresh and tasty as was the Oreo milkshake! 5 star and great service from Javed, friendly and hospitable!

Hi, So long story short, I ordered a dessert and when collected and received in the house it was completely the wrong order. We then called and asked for the actually order that we paid for. We received this order over an hour late…..the order AGAIN was wrong! There were ingredients missing on the waffle and the ice cream missing too. I called the store and told them, I wasn’t pleased at all so the lady on the phone thought it was okay to cut me off after I also told her I was going to speak to her manager. I called back and she said I was rude and cut me off again. I mean who employs these people? Oh and that’s ice-cream from the freezer at home. 1) Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful staff 2) Overly priced desserts Absolutely unacceptable! Will not be ordering from them again. Period

Reliable place that is open till late. Oreo cookie dough is delicious. Milkshake is decent. The only downside is the doughnuts but overall good place.

Took delivery for a lot of items from waffles, concrete cake, hedgehog, milkshake, milk cake, fudge cake. Let’s start with hedgehog and fudge cake. Both stale. Inedible. Waffles, cookies dough all received cold. Milk cake - tasted like a bought Madeira cake with sugary icing. Horrid. Milkshake - not sweet, lacking taste. Based on ratings on Uber took my chances but this has been a seriously expensive and disappointing experience. Over priced but does not justify the prices.

I recently tried the Oreo milkshake and it was a delightful experience! The rich, creamy blend of Oreo goodness was absolutely satisfying, and the presentation was top-notch. MishMash Desserts - awesome name. First time here. My friend recommended it to me. I went on a Saturday night and it was not that busy so got served quick. The woman who served us was friendly, smile on her face, very helpful as I asked questions and patient as it took while for me to chose what I wanted. It's pretty inside. Love the decor. We ordered waffles, one with Bananas and Strawberries& chocolate sauce and my friend loved it, it had a lot fruit on it. The other one was full of Chocolate, I LOvED it. So tasty. The Waffle was fluffy and light. We had Raspberry Slushy - LOVEd IT!!! The only thing I was disappointed with however it won't stop me going here again, is the Ice-cream, I don't think the flavour is strong enough. Definitely try this Dessert place out. Driving past on the way home desert shop stood out popped in to see what this shop is all about. Clean bright friendly staff, prices reasonable, decided to give it a try, great presentation and packaging and hoping taste is just as good. Got Home and absolutely shocked, taste and freshness and quality was the best ive ever tried. Very busy shop. Plenty variety spoilt for choice. Must say 10/10. So far guys its worth the trek if your in Birmingham ive paid twice as much in other places and dont come anywhere as good as this.

Ordered from uber eats. Food was awful. Waffle was soggy and the banana on top was burnt it was supposed to be caramelised. Vanilla ice cream tastes so cheap and was completely melted. There was no lotus crumbs on the waffle. Both cookie doughs were also burnt. All food had to be disposed. Waste of money

Would leave a 0 if possible. Worst Waffle ever had. Surprising how head office is allowing this franchise to operate. Dry, hard, no base to the Waffle, cracked everywhere. Ordered a Matilda cake, chai latte and green tea. They arrived in perfect condition and the drinks were nice and hot and flavoursome! The Matilda cake slice was a good size and you could tell it was fresh, couldn’t fault anything.

I ordered the habibi's pistachio kunafeh brownie and this has become one of my top desserts. The brownie is decadent and fudgy, the kunafeh pistachio topping is crunchy and sweet, this is topped off with a chocolate layer and chocolate/pistachio sauces that make this dessert absolutely delicious.The brownie is also very big and filling. Can easily share this. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. The place itself is clean and nicely done up with a relaxed atmosphere and nice aesthetics. Great experience, I would definitely order this dessert again.

Hey Folks, gave this place a try and I must say how disappointing it was ! Besides the fancy decor which is amazing and that's where it stops. The waiting staff who sat us down needs to go back to the school or on a customer service course on how to welcome customers and not throw the menus. The boss confirmed she is only 16 and it's okay ! Great feedback . Once we made our minds up we orders San Sebastián cheese cake and OMG. Half was frozen the other half was melted. One of the chaps came over to explain we don't know what the problem is, head office send them Like this. And ??? How's that my problem. Guys I would question the other 124 fake reviews on this place - the comments are laughable. I'm sticking to more authentic places, I should have know better to think the service standards / improvements would have changed on alum rock road !

I always take videos of my desserts but managed to find these two LOL! As you can see I always come back for this amazing waffle. Always served fresh and warm and the ice cream is always on point too. The staff are always so kind and welcoming. I will be forever coming back here every weekend to treat myself to this waffle 🫡😋😂

Really impressed with the food. Aesthetically pleasing and satisfying. Thick fluffy French toast with lots of distinguishable flavours. The pistachio milkshake was also delicious full flavour of pistachio. Was hesitant to order but I will order again after this.

All I can say is it the best dessert place I’ve been to. When we entered there was lots of pink flowers decorated and quit music to settle the evening. I got the brownie and custord and it was the best. I would seriously advise you to go there. They look legit and lots of vidios of them doing cool stuff and they make Dubai chocolate. PLZ COME HERE IT WAS SO GOOD. I will come here again and I know it has not got many reviews but my whole family are senior trip advisors and we only go to good places so this was up to our standards.

Very luxurious environment and ideal for social outings for those who want to avoid alcohol. My daughter went for a cookie dough and I couldn't resist the mint chocolate sundae along with a chai latte. Both were delicious. I suspect I will be willingly dragged back.

Ordered a waffle and a milkshake for collection through Uber eats recently. The milkshake was lovely but unfortunately the waffle was a let down. It was dry and not as enjoyable as I would have liked as there was barely any chocolate sauce on it.

Not the biggest dessert eater in the world however when the kids come knocking for their sugar treat, as a small local business supporter, it is only right for me to order from the one that’s closest by, which happens to be Dolce. Located conveniently on a 6 junction island, it is main thoroughfare for people entering and leaving the city. There’s ample parking at the front and as you enter, no need to dirty your hands as the doors part gracefully and more importantly automatically where you are greeted by a regal fusion of passionate red and serene blue, embodying both mystique and sophistication, reminiscent of twilight skies and royal robes, or you could say by purple decor! The lovely chaps behind the till are friendly and kindly offer advice to tailor desserts to satisfy your cravings. Most surprisingly is a costly and professional coffee machine which you find. I made the mistake of ordering a coffee from there lured by the machine however the ‘barista’ lacked the appropriate skillset as the beverage tasted burnt. However as this is a dessert place, the lack of coffee making skills can be excused. They serve a wide range of sugary treats which do taste really delicious. This latest occasion I ordered a couple of milkshakes and a Matilda cake. The latter now being a new trend is being served everywhere in Birmingham but this one is top tier. All in all, a very good spot for tasty desserts with ample seating inside whether you take your other half or family, or if you feel low and want that sugar to temporarily fill that sad void, you can easily sit there by yourself and enjoy your waffle whilst staring out at the traffic passing through the city.

This is a nice place on the high street. I live in london so I frequent many desert parlours and this one is up there. Prices are friendly, management are too! I felt like it was a family run establishment, which is a plus for me. The Oreo cake was incredible. We had to wait a bit for the desert (waffle) but it was worth it. Will definitely be back.

Very nice friendly staff, one of the best waffles. Loved the vanilla ice cream. Stylish waffle serving. What's really amazing is that the shop is spacious. Didn't have time to take photos for the dishes as they were gone in a glimpse. Hope they keep it up.

Found two hairs in my fiancés cookie dough, we went back to tell the lady working and all she said was we don’t offer refunds. Then she rang her manager and it changed to oh his ate half so no refund! I did say well he saw the hairs after and it shouldn’t matter it his ate half or a quarter. The girl found it amusing as she did laugh a few times. Please don’t waste your money and buy food with hair in it! My partner asked for a bottle of water since can’t have a refund as he felt sick and she replied yes that will he two pounds. Say no more.

Ordered 2 waffles and the owner trying to clean the waffle machine before use with the used vessel scotch-brite which is dirty and worn out , and poured the waffle batter without wiping the machine with kitchen towel on top giving lame excuse that they ran out of kitchen towels and it’s shortage in the market Previous owner used to give Gelato ice cream with the waffles but the new owner giving some cheap ice cream and charging more on top 1 with full cup and the other with half cup After change of new management I will not recommend this place no hygiene cheap product with pricey tag

I took my son here for ice cream, we had a lovely welcome from the 2 staff members working on arrival. There was a huge choice of ice cream, sorbets, waffles, cakes and crepes and they all looked delicious! We sat inside and had our ice cream and sorbet and it was honestly top quality! I had a gorgeous coffee to finish made by a staff member, he bought it to my table after we sat down. The service was really good, food and drinks are excellent and it was clean and spacious inside the shop. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back again!

Thought I would try this out and had the full English breakfast, and it was very nice and tasty. Indeed, you can tell they use quality sausage and bacon the food was lovely will defo be back soon.

Went for a spot of lunch and had some pancakes alongside a toastie. The waitress that served us was very polite and professional and our order arrived swiftly. The food was delicious and fresh. The hot chocolate was also hot and did not taste artificial like some places.

We popped in over the weekend for a Tea & Waffle. The service was great, I understand they've only opened this week, so naturally expected the staff to be a bit nervous but in all fairness they did a great job. More importantly the waffle was amazing, nice fluffy and well presented. Overall a great place with a brill setting to watch the world go by.

Had full English, very delicioys and posh presented, located in middle of the square with lots of ambient light, highly enjoyable....and thr cappucino alone was worth coming in for as well as very friendly service (we had a nice chat with the manager)....very much worth dropping in!

It was a lovely little place. A bit busy on a Saturday for a small place but that shows people like it. I was disappointed that at £6 It came with 1 small scoop of ice cream and it felt a little light on topping. But it was nice. Would be 4 star if I had of had enough ice cream

I went there with my mother, sister, and father some years ago and although their ice cream is lovely and there are some friendly staff there, on this particular occasion the staff serving had an attitude and wouldn't allow my sister to swap an ice cream flavor in her ice cream dish with another flavor she liked. Whereas Ice Gem will happily do this for their customers without any problems. This was the first and last time my mom had been there with us, and the last time we visited

Absolutely the worst experience for a dessert ever. Allowed tasting before buying which is pretty standard but capped it at 3 tastes for a large group of kids. Prices average but charge extra for the cone. If you want service with a smile it’s the wrong place.. guaranteed a couple of grunts from staff though. Decor definitely need upgrade. Hygiene too. Electric heater lying in pathway can’t be acceptable for health and safety.. trailing power cables etc. Toilets look like they had dried urine dripping on the walls too.. see pics. Oh and most of all I he ice cream tastes more like fresh cream than any of the flavours

Really liked the crepes here. I tried a crepe with banana slices, peanut butter and drizzled chocolate, with an ice cream scoop on the side. The milkshake my wife had was just okay. She had ordered a chocolate milkshake, but chocolate flavour was quite mild. Our little one had a generous scoop of clotted cream ice, which she really enjoyed. Wide selection of ice-cream flavours.

✨ Ordered from Marsin Bakers for the first time for a party and it honestly exceeded my expectations! ✨ Not only were the pastries super fresh and incredibly tasty, but the way they went above and beyond with the packaging honestly made my day. Everything looked so perfect and felt so carefully done. I couldn’t resist grabbing some extra breads as they were coming straight out of the oven; warm, flavorful, and impossible to say no to. Plus, with all the beautiful pastries on display, it’s hard not to get tempted! I can happily say this won’t be my last time, I’ll definitely be ordering from them every time now. Huge appreciation and a big shoutout to the whole Marsin team for making the experience so special.

I always drive past this bakery but have never stopped, until this Saturday! The pastries were sooo fresh and delicious and, honestly, the best I’ve had in the UK. I ended up buying loads of bread for my friends and me because they were coming out of the oven and smelled amazing. This is 100% my new Saturday tradition!

Arrived on a bank holiday Monday at 7:20pm with the website saying the kitchen was open until 9pm. Seems that a bank Holiday was a surprise to them as they closed the kitchen just before we arrived. The chef / owners hid behind the kitchen and left the young bar person to respond. Definitely wouldn't recommend. The Indian down the road is 1000% better and only another 4 mins walk...

Great bread and and great pastries. Their croissants are the best I've tasted for a long time. Their Apple Cruffin is especially good too. A great to stop and buy a coffee with a pastry whenever you are passing. The staff are helpful and friendly and are more than happy to fill your own reusable cup if you don't want a disposable cup. If you are after a specific pastry or loaf of bread you should get there early as their stock goes fast!

It's with a heavy heart that I write this review. We've visited Marsin Bakery every Saturday for the last 18 months to purchase Breads, Pastries and Coffee. It's our weekend treat. But, in the last few months things have noticeably changed, in terms of quality. The white sourdough bread has been so full of holes, there is no actual bread in the center. Last week, the brown sourdough loaf was tasteless - like it hadn't been seasoned at all. The baguette purchased at the same time tasted good but was half its usual size. And now this week, the pain au chocolat was poor - next to no chocolate! Come on Marsin, don't lose sight of what good looks like, to your customers.

I hate to write this as Marsin has been my go to bakery for years, but since Julian stepped away and new owners have taken over, it is a shadow of its former self. There is massive inconsistency in the products, size is up and down and often over baked pastries. I also suspect some pastries and bread are from the day before too. Sacrebleu !! It looks like the majority of bakes are now purchased in from another bakery rather than baked on site, you can tell. A few more poor visits and that will be it for me unless quality and consistency is upped.

An app that promises a free birthday donut that you cannot actually redeem, staff that seem to pick and choose which offers they will and won't honour and a new one today, no cash sales, card only? Not worth the hassle, I won't be visiting or buying your hugely overpriced donuts again.

Its located inside Touchwood, almost like a hidden paradise. Who doesnt like doughnuts Krispy Kreme doughnuts? They are a must try. The basic sugar ones are better for those watching the calories. Watch out for the offer. You get 2 Boxes plain and the filled ones for price of 1.

SADIA! Wow! Really good customer service. It was my birthday so I went for a treat and never been here before I never knew what to get. She patiently waited and helped me out so much to get what I wanted. A Really good worker! Loved the service.

I visited this stall/shop on Friday to get some donuts. The staff member was wiping the glass display as I arrived, she noticed me and looked in my direction without saying anything, I said hiya to which she didn't reply. She went and stood behind the counter and just stared at me without saying a word. Do you guys not train your staff in customer service, no greeting, no asking what she could get me, nothing. just stared at me. I didn't know what was going on or if the shop was open for business or not. I asked if it was open as I was somewhat confused with just being stared at. She repeated my question and then said "yeah, we're open" I said it doesn't matter and left. I won't use this shop again now because of this. I get she provably hates her job but being rude to customers isn't going to help. I went and got some cookies from subway instead and was greeted and spoken to with respect, amazing :D

Visited the store today at about 3pm and had a great customer experience! The donuts were all presented well and had many to choose from! (Was worried there wouldn't be much left at that time so that was great!) The store was kept clean and tidy, and the male colleague serving me was very helpful and friendly, would recommend this store👍🏼

We ordered a dozen of choose your own donuts as there was a special offer on for an extra glazed dozen for a pound with any dozen donuts. When they arrived there was no glazed dozen despite checking on the app twice that we had ordered it no note or anything. When we checked back on the app the glazed donuts were out of stock. The extra dozen was the only reason we ordered I feel like we've just been scammed out of buying donuts that we wouldn't have bought otherwise, with no explanation.

Went yesterday with my friends. The ambiance was nice and we ordered kunafa strawberries from the famous dubai kunafa series. It was nice but i also ordered mocha latte which was extremely cold on which i told one of the staff that its cold and not worth it at all to which he just smiled and ignored and kept doing his work. Sadly the service put me off. Dont think i will be choosing them for my desserts again after all i wanted a hot cup of coffee!

I came one day and ordered pancakes. There was something being advertised and I was curious what the hype was. A worker named Omar kindly offered me a tub to try for free. It was delicious and I am now back the next day ordering the kanafa strawberries haha.

Absolutely loved my visit to the Little Dessert Shop in Solihull! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service was spot-on—friendly, attentive, and quick. I tried the Belgian waffles and they were incredible—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with delicious toppings. Their milkshakes are next level too—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Perfect spot for a sweet treat, whether you’re out with friends, on a date, or just treating yourself. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I ordered off of uber eats and waited until 11:30pm for my order which was the time it said would arrive. After NOT receiving my order, I called up the store and was told their receipts weren’t being printed off and they were backed up with orders which I was fine with and I said I would wait. I have then waited another 2 hours and tried to call in between the time for no one to answer the phone and the store to be closed. If you aren’t going to make my food then at least tell me, as I would’ve just ordered from else where. I also did not get a refund for my order, so they have essentially just taken my money and not given me anything. Do NOT order from here through uber eats if you want to eat any sort of dessert as it probably won’t arrive.

I’ve ordered from this place online before for Takeaway, decided to go into the shop today to get to my usual order. Was met with amazing welcoming hospitality from Hamzi . Desert and shake was brilliant, would order again . 10/10 . Really impressed!

Took about an hour to give us our desserts as they forgot about us even though we were the only people in there. They had to be reminded as they were only focused on delivery orders. 1 star is for the tasty desserts. Also tables were not cleaned when we walked in, won’t be returning

Great experience at Little Dessert Shop. The customer service was excellent — the man at the till was polite, friendly, and very helpful. Really appreciated the warm and welcoming attitude. I’ll definitely be back!
