Thanks to Ellie for looking after our works party so well at Brunch, the cocktails kept coming and the food order was taken promptly after a welcome drink. The curry goat has a kick, a good portion size and the burgers were super filling. The Sirens Call and Mai Tai were excellent. Good value for money with the two hours.

Great service from Bella. We had the bottomless brunch and Bella made sure to check on us regularly and asked us if we wanted more drinks. We managed to have 8 cocktails in the 90 minutes. The food was really good and came out very quickly. Enjoyable afternoon.

Came to Birmingham for an event so decided to come to Turtle Bay for a nice relaxing evening meal. Food was incredible! Full of flavour, soulful and really filling. Atmosphere was amazing and staff were lovely and friendly. Oh yeah the lychee cocktail is just amazing.

The interior is decorated very well and creates a nice atmosphere. However, the quality of the beer wasn’t great – especially considering the price. Unfortunately, the pint I had was poor quality, which let the experience down.

Great birthday brunch! We had Jake Smith as our waiter and he was amazing. Was on the ball and knew when our drinks were coming to an end and topped us up! If you want bottomless brunch that’s worth the money then I 100% recommend! Thank you Jake!

Inside the place is clean and tidy , with very nice decor and lighting. We sat outside which is a pleasent space but not as tidy as in side unfortunately. The tables , seats and menu's needed a good clean unfortunately. We ordered food at the bar for 7 of us . The lady who took the order was really not interested in being there based on our interaction. The lack of any enthusiasm and the finger nail tapping while waiting for us to answer an order adjustment (from them being out of stock of an item ) was not a nice experience. My partner was also addressed as darlin on multiple occasions during the order placing . Such a shame as we didn't expect 5 star , just a pleasent interaction. Food was tasty and well priced and enjoyed by all as we're drinks .

We went here for date night! Beautiful interior and a lovely atmosphere. My goats cheese pizza was gorgeous and so flavoursome. One of the biggest pizzas I’d ever had! Unfortunately, my boyfriend’s steak was overcooked. He did wait to inform the waiter but no one came to check on us to see if everything was okay. We appreciate the restaurant was very busy that evening and we would like to come back again soon.

Visited carluccio for a Friday lunch. We haven't been here for a few years and as surprisingly we both had a Friday off together I looked for a Solihull restaurant that would suit our needs and was reminded of carluccio. It was a lovely autumn day and although they have a lovely outside dining area we chose to eat inside. We were greeted warmly and professionally by Ethan and were seated straight away. I was sat on the bench seat but being small I couldn't rest my back so we adjusted the table towards me so I could (perhaps some cushions could help here either set out or the waiter asking if a cushion is needed. Little touches make the difference sometimes). Ethan was discrete and left us to peruse the menu before taking our order. We had the bread basket and olives to start. The bread was varied and lush and one of the things I always judge an Italian on is their choice of olive oil which carluccio have just right, it had just the right aftertaste of pepper which I like. For a Friday lunch the place was bustling and throughout our meal people came and went so a great atmosphere. For the mains I had the mushroom risotto with added chicken and was pleased to receive a portion size that suited my lunchtime appetite. It was delicious. The other half treated himself to a steak and fries with a pepper sauce. I was surprised that on the menu they only have one cut of steak, however it was cooked as he asked for it. The only problem was the quality of the meat. He said the fat on the outside was chewy/gristley and when I looked I could see that the steak had not been trimmed of sinew. Perhaps a chat with their butcher and for the chef to check would help this situation. What a shame cause the other half was looking forward to his steak treat, however the fries were a redeeming feature and I had to taste a few to confirm both they and the sauce were spot on😁. Overall a lovely afternoon of chat, good food, great service and atmosphere. We'll be back soon.

We got the pasta, it was okay but really bland. Not worth the price. Even the tea with ‘sweet treats’ was mid - the sweet treats were 3 bites.

On friday I had the pleasure of dining at Carluccio's restaurant. I ordered pasta while my friend chose pizza—both dishes were absolutely delicious. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding service from Silvia. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Wonderful food and top-notch service—thanks to Silvia for making our visit so memorable!"

The staff were so lovely and accommodating two young ladies in particular and a gentleman who I believe was the manager. They were really welcoming! Offered great recommendations for drinks. The food wasn’t to my likings some things could have done with a little more flavour or less sauce drizzled on top of dishes. Cocktails were amazing they were the highlight of the night, however the Food was not the star of the shown the chicken sharer starter was okay although i Wouldn’t say it is a shareable portion. Surf and turf sushi platter was covered in a sticky Sauce I didn’t like it much, teriyaki chicken was slightly dry however one of the sushi rolls were really nice (can’t remember the name) I would come back but for Small plates / drinks

Absolutely lovely spot, food was amazing, drink selection was great and a good selection of gluten free dishes and a pale ale too and I was assured that it will be prepared fresh in a different area to avoid cross contamination. The A5 wagyu was amazing 👌🏻 We will definitely visit again.

Such an amazing experience, staff were so polite and accommodating, it was very quiet and we told them it was my daughter’s birthday and they bought her a free desert. Really enjoyed our experience here, had a lovely meal for 2 with my gf for a birthday treat using a Kibou gift card we had received. Service was excellent, Mikey our waiter really made the experience special. Food was excellent as was the atmosphere, tried and sampled a variety of dishes, Mikey even brought over a little sampler for us to try while we explored the menu, and a complimentary birthday dessert! Would highly recommend, we will most definitely be back again soon.

Great Japanese restaurant in Solihull past mell square along the high street. Great vibe, great service and great selection of sushi. Requires booking as always busy. Service was good. Prices reasonable for Solihull. Great flavours.

Food was lovely, the staff were great and attentive. Portion sizes were average for the pricing, desserts were huge though. The only downfall I'd say is that none of our dishes came out at the same time so was difficult to actually eat the meal together.

We have been to many Japanese restaurants including in Japan, and the food here does not disappoint. Very impressed by the sushi selection, with surf & turf nigiri getting a special recommendation. The truffle is an excellent addition to enrich the flavour. Service was great and Mikey was super attentive and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful ambiance, genuinely awesome food, and prompt, attentive service, with a personal attentiveness to all your needs. My family and I have dined here twice, but this is our new 'temple' of Indian cuisine. We cannot fault this venue, whatsoever, and it is an absolute delight to eat here. We are now planning to keep revisiting, to work our way through this amazing and extensive menu. Highly recommended. 100%.

A superb experience from booking to paying! Lovely warm welcome and handshake from a proud owner, superb decor and a very good clean atmosphere. The dry ice display was a new experience for me and was welcomed. The food was in my top five Indians ever. The price point was perfect. The Staff were all amazing and I really enjoyed myself. A beautiful restaurant with accommodating staff and tasty cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed spending Eid here as a family and cannot recommend enough, even with the busy footfall of customers - the staff are able to manage the volumes and look after all of their guests! The mixed platter was great and worth the £, thank you for a lovely evening.

Second time visiting and just as impressive as the first time. The decor is spot on for a cosy restaurant like this. Gave a real intimate feel without being isolating and very tastefully done. The staff were great from the moment i stepped in till the moment i left but the food was by far the star of the show. I have eaten in hundreds of restaurants over the years but this place has to be top ten if not top 5 ever. Curry's are perfectly spiced and packed with flavor, the meats are tender and juicy and the rice is perfect, No other word for it really. Overall another fantastic visit with many more to come.

Limited vegan options, but tasty. The desert was fab. 3 out of 6 mocktails were not available. Parking is free, but busy. I got blocked by someone who can't park and at 8 months pregnant I couldn't get into my properly parked car. Overall, it's a nice place and we'll be back.

A truly dreadful meal. I’m sorry to have to sound unkind but this wasn’t good enough. I wanted to complain on the day but it was a somewhat intimate environment and didn’t want to make scene. Look at the 3 pictures. The pork belly is what a lovely Sunday lunch looks like. That was from Browns in Birmingham. Now look what you served me and my wife for the same price £22. One carrot. One parsnip. 3 tiny hard as nails roast potatoes. Putrid jelly-like gravy. A small piece of beef that had the appearance of being processed. A load of tasteless cabbage. The Yorkshire pudding was the best part but even that had a tablespoon of cooking oil in the bottom. Please take your chef to The Bulls Head Meriden or Browns in Birmingham for what a Sunday lunch should look like. I feel robbed. Just take the Yorkshire away and look at the amount of food was left! How bad it was is best demonstrated by the fact we went to my dads local to have a great mac & cheese and desserts straight after. On the plus side, lovely venue and outside pergola type building with log burner. Staff were all great and we turned up without booking so fair play for that. It’s such a shame that the kitchen seems to be letting everyone else down. I’d hoped it was just a bad day but some other reviews seem to confirm that these bad days happen too often. £22 for that plate of rubbish is not on.

Very nice interior and service. The reviews are unfortunately true, learned from experience today - the sunday roasts here have gone downhill! Used to be really good portions and everything was perfect, now you get a max. of 3 vegetables on your plate and 3 small bits of potatoes! Not sure if the chef saw the review here of the really thick gravy and felt vengeful as we had pure water gravy today😂😅 As you can see from that water floating around at the bottom of my plate, thought gravy would be nice for the photo but it completely disappeared! Such a shame as I loved this pub but food not worth the price anymore

Went for my wife’s birthday, asked for chips with no salt, meal arrived, chips with salt, asked again and did not receive any chips throughout my meal after asking for the chips from 3 different waitresses, finished meal and finally 25 minutes later chips arrived, was told they had been given to another customer. Asked for liquor coffees, Irish and baileys, Irish served, but a glass of baileys on ice was served instead of a liquor coffees? Wasn’t asked if we would like a jug of water for the table. After spending £189 on a meal for 4 without deserts I would not return due to the poor service.

Been to the boat several times, went for a Sunday roast and it was average. Food needed a little more flavour (this was the half chicken) and more roast potatoes were needed. First time here, since I moved away a long time back, but was ideal place to meet my parents, weather was good so made use of the lovely garden with outside bar and helpful staff, food was excellent for all of us and enjoyed the Devon Red. Inside looked good and will be back towards Christmas to soak it all in again. Highly recommend, plenty of parking and seating. Food choice excellent 👌

Man alive. Today, I had the greatest toasted sandwich I have ever had! The Croque Monsieur was out of this world! Doorstop slices of bread, overload of cheese yet you could still taste the ham. I also had a portion of chips which were mega chunky and perfectly salted. I also just about had room left for dessert and had the cheesecake. It was nice but I wished I'd have been able to have the cherry, coconut and almond crumble (it was on a different menu and I couldn't switch it 😭). Will deffo return just to try that crumble!!

Really good food, came here for lunch yesterday with my Jamaican husband and jamaican friend and they had no complaints which says it all. They know how to cook and what the flavours should taste like. A little too much ginger in the rice but other than that it was amazing. We went back again for lunch today it was that nice. Friendly staff. Great place.

Me and my partner ate in, id like to give massive credit to the staff at jamaya! So friendly and polite, a lovely young girl served us on Tuesday 8th April, about 8:30pm! The food was lovely, flavours were banging. Atmosphere is very relaxing, loved all the songs they played! Mocktails were refreshing too. We will definitely be back soon. Nice and clean too. They acknowledge food allergies straight away which is lovely to hear. Not a bad word to say over here . Thank you!

We had a surprise leaving meal and it was such a great experience! Our server David was attentive, super helpful and make our experience extra special. My family loved the food and we had such a great time. There was a big group of us and we had a number of needs and the staff made us feel catered to. Much appreciated ☺️ I ranked 4 on food because I'm vegan and there were only a few options, I'd have liked a bit more choice. However my food was really tasty!

Been coming here periodically since July 2024 and can say the food is still consistently top notch with a friendly chilled atmosphere and polite and pleasant wait staff. The pic is from 01/07/2024 and I should note the salad size has dropped a little since the pic was taken, but the chicken and rice are still generous and filling. The lunch special is still crazy good value, £13.50 on weekdays between 12pm and 5pm. Savannah our server (correct me if i’m wrong i’m pretty sure that was her name) such a lovely girl made the experience as a whole including the delicious food! She attended to our needs, recommended options to us as it was our first time there and even recommended the lunch saver option which we wouldn’t have known about if she didn’t show us! all in all was amazing service would defo recommend, the staff are lovely as well as the food!

If you're in the area do not miss the opportunity to visit Shebabs. From the moment we arrived the welcome and service was excellent. The menu is vast, but staff are on hand to advise. They haven't got a licence, but you can bring your own alcoholic drinks if you wish. Highly recommended.

Had a good experience here last night. Service was attentive & whilst there was a delay in some of the food arriving, the boss came over with an additional dish for us to try , which was not sought by us, and this was delicious & a nice touch. The food was overall very good. The ‘Table Naan’ was impressive but let down by what appeared to be the use of margarine rather than ghee, which was the only complaint we have on the food. I would definitely recommend this place & would also definitely return.

Was a spontaneous visit. Went for 2 dishes, fish karahi and the chicken tikka garlic. Personally not a fan of the chicken dish, garlic was a little overpowering. The fish dish however was very nice, easily one of the best I’ve had so far, unsure what type of fish is used but it was tasty, fresh and full of flavour. Both naan and roti were nice, didn’t have any of the fries but they looked decent. Will be back to try other items off of their massive menu.

No air con and told the large floor standing fans don’t work. It was 30 degrees + outside and hotter in the restaurant. The staff were flagging but the service from the young lady who served us was exceptional, I don’t know how she kept positive in that heat. The food was very good but it was an awful experience. Won’t be going again unless the temperature is below 20 degrees. Not acceptable. We saw loads of people turning and leaving. We should have done the same

Accommodated a group of 28 of us for a special birthday meal exceptionally well. Service was excellent, communication on the day brilliant. I can't fault them, everyone had a lovely meal, and they were so accommodating with everything to make it a special day. All the staff really helped make it a great day for all of us. Can't rate them highly enough!

We celebrated my birthday with dinner out at Mortons. The service was very good and the food was delicious - but the atmosphere was terrible. The bar area is at the entrance of the eating area and it was extremely raucous with Friday night drinkers yelling and cheering. Having a conversation was almost impossible and spoilt the visit to Mortons.

Always liked Morton's atmosphere and staff. Food is generally good. However I went for breakfast there this morning. I ordered food detailed as 'on toast'. It arrived with a tiny piece of toast (less than half a piece). When I asked for a complete piece of toast I was told I'd have to pay as they've now halved toast on breakfast dishes! Need to be careful with the penny pinching.

We have always enjoyed our meal and drink. Can get a bit loud but then you can go to the restaurant part. Also, staff should ask customers not to vape inside and not to let their dogs on the chairs in the bar part.

Came on my own on a Tuesday evening. Got a seat straightaway. Service was super quick, friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely knockout… one of the best tandoori chicken and butter chicken I’ve tasted! Food came really quick as well. I would definitely recommend this place and come back again in the future!

Had the mixed grill, perfect. No meats were harmed, overcooked or dry in the production of this mixed grill. Accompanied with a nice hot curry sauce. Beers top notch too! Ash was a great host!

I read a few things on here from fellow desi folk that had me worried about visiting this pub - restaurant, but I'm glad I still went here regardless. Visited on a weekday lunchtime. Was getting lively around then but not crazily busy, which is good. Staff were great, very polite and attentive. The Large Mixed Grill surprised me as it is the most equally balanced one I've had, not overloaded with wings like most of them, and four lamb chops were on it! The only downside is you have to pay extra if you want fish on there. That said, they accidentally put a piece of salmon on mine so I got lucky! Beer selection is good, I found one I really liked so had a cheeky 2nd pint. I have a Solihull BID card so managed to get 10% knocked off the bill.

What a place to go for food. First off I must compliment the staff for their attentive service. Veejay you were an exceptional host, thank you. There is a great range of beers to choose from, and a superb menu, of just delicious foods. I recommend the bhajis, they were the best I have ever had. The curries were full of flavour too. Remember to book your table though.

Myself and my family eat Asian food regularly with no problems, but on this occasion we all suffered incredible bloating immediately, from the starter, deep fried spiced fish mini fillets. We Won’t be ordering from there again.

My friend and I had dinner here last night. It was my first return visit since it was newly opened a few years ago and I'll definitely be back sooner. The staff were excellent, the right level of attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were exactly what we hoped - very tasty and good pints.

WOW! I'm not a Pizzeria fan. Dominoes and Papa Johns really put me off with overpriced rubbish. However I was treated to Zizzi's and OMG, this is truly amazing. Freshly cooked in an open kitchen, all fresh toppings accompanied by a non stop dance of flavours. I'm completely taken aback. We had the Wagyu Royale with Burrata and a Chicken and Fiery Roquito. We preferred the 1st item as it was much more fiery (one to remember Zizzi's). The establìshment is really cosy and inviting, attentive staff and great deals on the website. See pics. Fabulous food. Lovely chilled staff & atmosphere. We had Monét as our server, she was amazing. She helped gives great recommendations on our meals as we were clueless. Definitely recommend this place

It’s not bad. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t disappointed generally. However, compared to other Zizzi I have been to (of which the list is short), it wasn’t very good. Garlic bread was moderate at best. Pizza was good (Classic Mozzarella with Ham). Dessert was alright (Chocolate Brownie Sundae). Service wasn’t the best. Room was plain.

The most delicious food I have had this year. Highly recommend. I had th Piccante King Prawn to start. This was mouth watering and cooked to perfection. Then I had NewSlow-cooked Beef & Chianti Ragu which was spicy but delicious. Then for pudding I had the chocolate sundae. We were given a free pudding as the water put through the wrong order. We had 30% off our bill from the website. I would definitely recommend. Some of the staff were polite but our main waiter was quite. The venue was nice, plenty of seating. The can hold for large parties or couples. Toilets clean. Could see the food being cooked which was nice.

Terrible service. We waited 50 minutes before a drink order was taken, (we had to get up and ask) then when it arrived it was incorrect. It seemed busy but only about 3 staff waiting on tables, Lots of dirty uncleared tables from earlier on. After a few errors and no check back to see if everything was ok and no more drink orders taken after this. When I asked the staff member if they had been short staff she said no and that ut is always like this, she looked stressed and clearly couldnt manage, When I asked if I could leave some feedback for the manager- she told me she was the manager and this is what it’s like every day. It was outstanding that this restaurant hasn’t closed for the sheer lack of service, it felt dirty, tables were filthy and were not being cleared. We were then approached by another staff member who then said she was the manager in training, all in all this restaurant was a complete shambles. I would suggest new managers as these two couldn’t cope, Or even a training programme that teaches them not to slag off your team to the customer. We were offered a complimentary drink and a reduced bill. However we will not be returning to the Solihull restaurant. And as suggested by the manager “maybe we will get better service in resorts world instead”. Utterly shocking service.

We came for my daughter’s birthday meal and both the food and service was really great. A lot of good options for vegetarians and kids. The staff were truly fantastic and went above n beyond - Big shout out to Mantas, Sim and Ella for singing happy birthday to my daughter and for making her feel special, which made the whole experience even better. Extremely disappointing visit, the service was awful despite not being a full restaurant. Our food came quickly thanks to the kitchen staff, but we waited over 1.5 hours for our plates to be cleared. After this we decided to leave, Bridget our server was not apologetic and we felt like we were being ignored due to being 3 young girls. After mentioning this to the server, as we were still sat with our starter and main plates without being offered desert, she asked if we wanted to get desert boxed up to take home! Really disappointing as the food was good - other tables around had much faster service.

Spot on !!!! Went to the restaurant but unfortunately was way too busy so , we ordered wagamama online instead ! The food came pack well 😋 We had chicken katsu and teo different type of ramen - it was delicious Will be ordering again!

Managed to easily get a table for an early evening meal, seated with space next to us which is pretty good for a Wagamama! Nice atmosphere inside until busier rush later on in our visit, can feel a little cramped but that’s this style of dining. Server was a little odd, I understand that you have to be friendly and chatty with customers but, the tone and wording just did not seem to comprehend like, the interactions were just not what I’d want from a server each time, no kind of grasp of social cues. Anyway… The food was great and didn’t have to wait too long for any of it. Struggled to pay as the wrong table number had been written for us, and the signal is absolutely terrible in there! But overall enjoyed our time there.

It has been at least 10 years not stepping in Wagamama. We gave it a try today and not a bad experience, I must say. The reception was very welcomed he led us to a table and offered high chairs for my little one. He advised us who would be coming to take orders, and we have been given times to look at the menu for drinks and food. Reene also explained what a kids combo was when I asked. We had downloaded the wagamama Apps club member and will get a free edamame (steamed soy beans). We had chicken katsu rice (curry sauce on top of battered chicken above a big pile of rice), roasted pork belly marinated in Korean BBQ with noodle soup (Ramen). The chicken katsu portion is worth the money, and the ramen broth is absolutely delicious . Ramen soup broth is tasty with a little spicy kick. Four slices of pork belly mixed in half lean meat and half melted fat is absolutely devined. Crunchy seaweeds, half spring egg also good in the whole combination. The reason I voted 4 stars on food quality is the noodles lacking of character. Ramen is meant to have its own elasticity and with a little bite. This bowl ramen has lost that kind of spirit but is too soft, broken, and doesn't need to chew just down while I prefer the bity ramen. Mini katsu rice was plateful and yummy and it was perfect to end with the vanilla ice cream. All in all, we loved it ,the ambiance, environment, and friendly service. Thank you, we will be back.

Fresh and Tasty food choice at Wagamama, Solihull. Very friendly staff especially Jamie who helped & guided us through the complex menu, ha ha. Kokopanko Chicken was Great, Crispy Chilli Mushrooms was good as well.

I went into Wagamama Solihull this evening and I came across a very lovely young man his name was Josh , I am absolutely wowed by him , I went in unsure what to order he discussed the menu to meet my dietary needs , he explained everything to me and I was very pleased with what I ordered . More than anything I was pleased with his helpfulness. I work in retail & I’m in leadership , he is every employers dream !! While I was waiting for my order , although it was a take out he got me seated and offered me water or green tea which I was absolutely amazed by . He deserves a raise and I believe Josh should be cloned . Thank you so much Josh I will be returning soon with my family 🩷

Everything was great. The vegetarian pizza was nice and the olives and fried calamari are probably the best I've ever had, definitely must try. We also had the sangria and (I think?) the Ibiza Star Martini, both tasted good. The staff was really nice and I love the interior decor, very traditional and pleasant. Would definitely recommend if you want to try Spanish food!

We’re really glad we found this restaurant as the atmosphere was really nice, good music and decoration, the food was delicious and the drinks were tasty and refreshing. The waiters were friendly. We had the shrimp pizza and drank sangria (el dragon). We’ll definitely be returning when we visit Solihull again :)

This is the 2nd time Myself and My fiancee have eaten here. Both times We've taken the tapas option, as it's our favourite way of eating out. Being able to have and try many different foods. The food comes out when ready, so be prepared to wait, while the food is cooked. But when it comes out, it's tasty and it's hot. The staff are friendly and polite. We wil definitely come and eat again here in the future....

Surprisingly alright Spanish food! This is the only place i’ve tried in the UK that has been good Spanish food, as a Catalan living in England I wouldn’t normally even try this type of restaurant but we were intrigued and decided to give it a go. Pleasantly surprised with the flavors and similarities of the dishes, the chefs are both Spanish so I assume they do the best they can with the ingredients they are subjected to here in the UK. Worth a try if you want a flavor of Spain!

I loved it! Good atmosphere, good menu and great service. A bit conflicted based on the reviews I read, some people love it and other’s hate it but it’s everything I would expect from a tapas place. Portions and prices are good, the quality of the food is amazing, the wine menu is extensive and the decor makes you feel like you are not in a mall. I recommend to everyone looking for good spanish tapas, specially the sangria!

This restaurant was outstanding, from the friendly quick service, cleanliness of the dining area and of course the amazing food. The restaurant takes you back to authentic Spain with the music and decor great vibe. The paella was tasty, fresh prawns and mussels! Pizza had to be one of the tastiest we have experienced with fresh toppings. The Garlic Alioli was unreal. Will be back again!!

Not really sure what the fuss is about... I've certainly had better burritos, quesadillas, nachos etc. in fact, better burrito from a street vendor. Very basic, food, limited menu and over price for what it is. The cocktails were nice, but could barely taste the alcohol, and for the price thought we'd drink elsewhere. Service was good, no issues. But overall disappointing in terms of quality of food. It wasn't that it was bad, it just wasn't great.

Siyam was excellent throughout. Shane the table next to us just sat there and refused to look at a menu, you handled that superbly. Food was excellent, first time here. Thanks for a memorable experience.

First time visiting here and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere. We were a group of 6 gents on a Friday night and certainly kept the staff on their toes. Everything was handled with finesse and we were well looked after by all the staff. Food was brilliant from start to finish, with a good selection of alcoholic & soft drinks. Wouldn't hesitate to come back 👌🏼

I am so pleased to have come across this venue today! We were served by Iness who was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable on gluten free options explaining everything to me. I had chicken fajitas in the BBQ Chipotle sauce and a side of cheesy fries with the most wonderful pineapple IPA. My husband had the beef burrito and was impressed and enjoyed it. The food is great. The service was amazing. The venue is just awesome and I love that there is so much to look at take in. The decor and music create a Mexican vibe and it just felt a great place to stop and enjoy some good food and a good time. Looking forward to the next visit already! ✨

Really stunning food, amazing service and the cocktails were super fresh tasting and made with decent alcohol instead of the cheap stuff often used. Food was fresh, hot and flavoursome. The Shredded beef just melted. While it is not the cheapest place it also isn't super expensive (around 90 quid for two people having 3 courses and 4 drinks each) and you absolutely get what your moneys worth. . Will definitely be back, no idea why it was so quiet when we went in, maybe the time of day, they should be packed!

Fantastic restaurant. Quirky decor, good selection of cocktails, and the Tio Latino beer is so nice. Can’t recommend the chicken nachos enough, plenty of salsa, lots of jalapeños too. The spicy prawn tacos were also very flavoursome, although I’d say could do with more filling, on the plate it looks like a good portion, but once wrapped/folded, there’s a lot of empty taco! The cod is brilliant white, and the batter is crispy! 100% recommend the truffle fries as well.

Recently discovered this place, been a half dozen times and so impressed with it. The service is exceptional and the vibe is best in Solihull. Well priced, good food, great drinks selection with offers for each day of the week. Special mention to Andy, Chloe and Rose for the attention to detail and amazing customer service. You guys are truly amazing. A must visit establishment in Solihull.

My first and last time here. I'm surprised to read so many good reviews about the food. I was hungry and looking forward to my meal. Had a very long wait for it and starter and main course were served together. I'd suggest serving starter before main course. My prawn starter was soggy and my main was dry and overcooked. I'd suggest don't ask how customer wants steak cooked if you are going to overcook it that it's like tiny shriveled piece of shoe leather. Better if you can teach your cook how little time medium rare needs. This might be a good pub for drinks but for food either improve the quality and service or just offer crisps and nuts alone. For those wanting for a good place to eat you really want to avoid eating here unless some changes are made.

Came here on 2 consecutive nights, staff were so friendly and helpful. Had a wait for food the second night, the staff were brilliant! Apologised many times and brought a free drink for the people without their meal and a shot for the whole party, can’t fault them! Excellent customer service

First time visiting a Côte restaurant (Friday evening 19.30) and I thought the flavour of the food was outstanding! Very impressed! The French onion soup and the moules-frites are excellent, as was the white wine, dessert and hot chocolate! Excellent table servers! Well worth booking a table!

First time visit tonight to this venue for a very much needed treat on our very rare date night as a busy Mommy and Daddy. One wonderful experience from the beginning till the end. Shame we only enjoyed the Live music not long before it ended but The star of the night was the food, a massive complement for the kitchen team. Oh my God, my husband and I totally agreed the starters, the main and desserts beautifully prepared, cooked and served. It's all so tasty 🤤😋 the salad starter oh my oh my for me personally that's my favourite 🫶🏼 oh and the cocktails, delish! With the white chocolate on the rim, beautiful 🥰 Last but not least, thank you to Poppy and Jacob who have looking after us tonight during our meals, your customer service was amazing. We are definitely coming back again soon with our two kiddies 🤩 The decoration in the venue is so Chic and the atmosphere is so cozy. Overall, amazing team work guys 🫶🏼 thank you.

I had such a great experience at Côte! The new menu is fantastic, full of delicious options that feel both fresh and comforting. The roast chicken was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. And the free-flow fries? Such a brilliant touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, warm service, and a relaxed atmosphere!

First time visiting Côte and won't be the last! I had the Breakfast Complet deal, French toast with berries and vanilla Chantilly, latte and orange juice. All tasted delicious! Service was first class! I think the lady who served me was called Elise. See you again soon!

For starters we had the mushroom rillettes. We were honestly not very impressed. We ordered a fish stew and rib eye for mains and tomato basil and shallot salad. While the mussels were not fresh and the sea bass was overly salty. Couldn't taste any basil nor the shallots in the salad at all. Immensely disappointing dishes. The rib eyes was just okay and the peppercorn sauce tasted only like cream, not much taste of pepper. And I wasn't sure if it's really moldy but I found something suspicious on the sourdough toast they served with the fish stew. Genuinely overpriced, and the staff all looked fed up. Will not recommend or ever come back.

We visited to try the new menu for breakfast, I went for the ‘cherry on top’ croque which was so good! Never had a sweet croque before - it’s a MUST try for sure. Went to Greens for a bottomless brunch with my partner on a Saturday. Thoroughly enjoyed our time- the staff were super friendly and chatty, they knew their stuff with recommendations. The atmosphere was laid back and the interior is really well put together, very classy. The cocktails were so so good- notably for me the Señorita was to die for. The food was also so great, the perfect grazing board for an afternoons drinking. We will 100% be back- thank you!😍

Came to Greens for the new Sunday Brunch with friends. It was a wonderful experience during our whole visit. Great food, fabulous cocktails, and very lovely friendly staff.

A group of 5 of us went to greens the weekend for their bottomless brunch. The atmosphere was chilled, perfect for chatting and catching up. The cocktails were amazing, every one we tried. We have tried many bottomless afternoons and have to say the cocktails were the best we have ever had. Adian our attentive host was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The sharing board was demolished with gusto. I have always hated hummus but the one we were served was delicious. A big thank you from us all and we will 100% be back.

Lately, we have been to this restaurant. The ambience and service were too good. But the food couldn't meet our expectations. We ordered Hyderabadi chicken biriyani and it was average. Paratta was good but the curry we ordered along with it (Chicken chettinadu) was too disappointing!!

Based on our really good last visit, a couple of years ago, I was disappointed. The food wasn't great. I expected the mixed veg curry to be dry, yet it came in a sauce. My son's Butter Chicken wasn't the best either and the chicken looked like it had been coated like in a tikka, then added to the sauce of the butter chicken. We didn't finish our meals. The naan and rice were standard and tasted fine. Not much selection of soft drinks, so I had water. For 3 of us we had, 3 mains, 1 side dish, 2 plain rice, 3 garlic naan, a beer and two lemonades, all came to £68. Don't think we will be going there again. Shame, as it was a nice place with good food.

This must be some of the best value restaurant food anywhere. Everything I've tried here has been in the range very tasty to excellent. The prices are brilliant and the staff are lovely. It's one of my favourite restaurants of all time.

A nicely done interior and a good location. May be a challenge to find parking but there are nearby places where parking is possible. The interior has a nice touch and the staff are friendly. The Madras filter coffee was good. We tried other dishes but they were not upto the mark. The chicken curries were namesake. The breads were fine. Its definitely worth a try while lookung out for South Indian restaurants.

Great south Indian restaurant on the Shirley high St. (Stratford Road :) Went here with a friend for the first time and ordered the fish pakora starter and masala dosa. It's was very tasty. Staff were attentive and the service was good. I will go come back and sample other things on the menu next time.

Ruchie is an Authentic "South Indian" restaurant in Birmingham. The food is really fantastic, the flavors are spot on and I still keep thinking about the food because it's served just like how it is in south India . Lovely host and the service was fast . Would definitely visit again .

We had a fantastic meal at Emporio Artari in the Touchwood Centre! The range of options was great including a good range of veggie/ vegan alternatives. The Margherita pizza and pesto pasta were both delicious – full of flavour and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Portion sizes were perfect, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were warm, friendly, and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. The setting was clean, stylish, and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

The desi breakfast was AWFUL, the Bombay potato was just tiny slithers of potato in some sort of masala, the beans were just baked beans with a pinch of masala and the parathas were frozen parathas cut into quarters, the omelette comes as plain or fiery. This was probably the worst I have had in a long tim. The aubergine dish had barely any aubergine just mainly a tomato base sauce. Only upside was the milkshake was quite nice and the decor is nice.

Been to this place once before, and had lovely food. I introduced my sister to this place today, and we are utterly disappointed. I asked for penne arrabiata, which is a garlic/chilli tomato pasta, and asked for the spice to be quite mild. I received it, and it tasted extremely plain, no flavour just tomato out of a microwave meal or packet. My sister asked for Lasagna (the dish opposite mine) and it was just mush. It had no layering, it looked more like a huge meatball. She doesn't like cheese very much, which we specified and it was a mostly cheese dish, which we were not told about/was not on the menu description. The chips were stuck together and soggy, i don't think they had even been cooked all the way through. They were cold on arrival, and were tasteless. I'm not usually a person to complain, but today's food was not ok whatsoever. Service was ok, we were checked on and the waiter was nice to us.

I went there with my children, lovely atmosphere and staff are so friendly. The food was lovely and surprisingly reasonably priced, look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend.

One word - Wow! MashaAllah very tasty and quality food. Ordered, the brisket sandwich, bombay sandwich and veg samose. Everything tasted delicious. The siracha sauce with a touch of honey was too good. Prices are very reasonable too for all the above food and two milkshakes we paid under £35. Finally we have a quality 100% Halal, Alcohol free establishment in the heart of Solihull (touchwood shopping centre). Definitely will be back to try the full halal breakfast.

We visit SKVP quite regular and they provide a wonderful customer service. Excellent zabardast Indian Street Food that tantalisingly leaves you with a feel that you are actually in India 🇮🇳 Juhu Beach Mumbai, site seeing in New Delhi, together with background music puttingbyiu in a Bollywood movie and Bhangra dancing to Diljit Dosanjh. The service today from Doreen was exceptional, she was helpful and served with a smile. Absolutely loved my visit to Shree Krishna Vada Pav (SKVP) in Shirley, Birmingham! As someone who has lived in Mumbai and tried countless Mumbai street food places, I must say SKVP truly stands out with its authentic taste and quality. I tried the Vada Pav and Pav Bhaji, both were simply awesome, bursting with the real flavours of Mumbai. It brought back so many memories of enjoying street food back home. A special thanks to Doreen and Amrita for their warm and attentive service. They made the experience even more enjoyable with their friendly attitude and professionalism. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Mumbai-style starters. Can’t wait to visit again

I used to order from them about 10yrs ago when i worked nearby. About 2yrs ago they started texting me offers. Unfortunately i live on the otherside of brum and dont work in that area anymore. I rang them multiple times to notify them. Some freshie answers every time and says he will delete my number & like a cnt he also asks if i want to order. Still not deleted my number & i literally just got another text right now.

Food is beautiful but they charged my card 3 times when they cancelled 2 orders, I rang up after a week of still not being refunded and they hung up on my they haven't answered any other time, lost a good customer, absolute thieves!

I don’t normally try new places but today I thought giving it a go and try it. Very small portion with 80 percent of them french fries not even chips which were disgusting and tasted very bad(cheap quality). Also chicken didn’t taste good either. In salad no cucumber or tomatoes which is normal for doner shop instead few lettuce and 4 pieces of onions and my stomach is upset now. Never again in this shop.

I’ve always ate from Village Kebab House but today I received quite a burnt pizza. I rang them up and they immediately apologised and sorted the situation out. They sent out a new freshly made pizza with fries within 20 minutes. Nowadays, shops question and hassle you even if they are in the wrong. It’s so refreshing seeing a shop actually care about their mistake! They even attached a note apologising again Thank you so much!

We were the only customers in as it was before 5pm. The lady behind the counter was very friendly, she was attentive and the place was very clean. The decor is American diner style with old rock and roll music playing in the background. A lot has changed since last time I went This was just before lockdown.. No special week day deals or percentage (%) discounts / no unlimited soft drinks and most if not all the prices have now gone up The prices are quite high to eat in compared to the take away large fish and chips eat in is £12.99 and to take away £7.99 that's a massive 38.49 % increase just to sit in (I've included the menus in the photos). The quality of the fish in my opinion quite low... Very small flake cod not the large rib like flakes you would expect from a fish restaurant @ £12.99 I didn't like the batter at all, I had to scrape out the centre As It was quite greasy and not very palatable... I believe that the fryer may not have been hot enough which allowed the food to soak up too much grease before it cooked through. You do still get the unlimited bread and butter but the soft drinks are now £1.99 for a single paper cup, so again not good value anymore. My meal was ok but I wouldn't say it was very pleasing, as the fish was the reason for us going, It was quite wet inside and as I said the batter was too greasy for me to eat & again the quality wasn't there for me with the fish. Our 3 meals cost £36.95 and although there was a fair piece of fish and a lot of chips there was no peas or side salad included in the price..😳 I've given this venue 3 out of 5 stars but a lot of that was for the ladies service and decor as the food today really missed the mark for me...Sorry guys but I pride myself on leaving honest reviews.

Great place to have some food. Diner is laid out ok and also accommodate highchairs if required. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food itself was really nice and reasonably priced The above review as written 10 months ago with a 5 star review. However I've now changed it to 3 following our visit today. The biggest flaw here is the customer service. There has been a massive drop and change in it. We arrived waiting to be seated and were told to just find a table. There were no high chairs available, but a member of staff assured me that they would bring me one shortly... This did not happen at all. When my wife went to order about 5 members of staff looked at her but didn't take an order. It wasn't until one member took the initiative to say it was the other side for the order to be placed. Waited about 25 minute for the food which wasn't bad. Managed to get a fork but no knives. Asked a staff member who said they'd bring it over but this didn't happen. Asked them again to which they brought over 4 putting them in front of my daughter. To top it all of found a hair in my wife's plate of food. Took it to a member of staff who sorted it. The biggest let down is the customer service, where the staff don't even look happy to be there, I think one member of staff managed to break a smile. In the end nobody even got back to us about the high chair. All in all not happy, compared to the countless good times this visit has turned this place down.

First takeaway from here after my usual was closed. Absolutely brilliant crisp chips and fish.

Nice fish and chip restaurant food good, friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Great parking. Only criticisms were chips needed a bit more cooking and for some reason didn’t serve any regular Coca Cola or Pepsi. Only diet or sugar free variants which was frustrating.

I have experienced a few so called fish bars but this one was very good. Let's start by saying , it was a super hot day in the UK. Yes I know, really. Yes it was.The restaurant was fully air conditioned. The staff were very pleasant and the cod and chips were very very nice. My word the cider at £2.49 a pint. Made it a done deal on such a hot day. The whole experience was great. Good price too. Yes I would recommend this fish bar. Very clean and quick service.

Excellent food. Never been let down. The staff and venue are well organized with a one way system, hand sanitizer, menus on the wall by the table so no handling. Tables left unused so social distancing kept. Kitchen staff wear masks. The only reason why I have not given 5 stars is that there is no macaroni cheese on the menu. This is superb and always my first choice. Bring it back please. The half price main courses are brilliant.

Excellent food and very good value. Freshest fish and chips I’ve tasted in the Midlands. Beats local more expensive venues comfortably. Second free helping of chips was generous. Free bread and spread a nice touch too as was the refillable soft drinks. Staff happy and helpful. Would recommend to anyone and definitely would visit again

Passing through and popped in for to go food in the car. Service was fine and the fish was delicious. Chips were fine, but the pasty was prepackaged. Good for taking away, but not road trip food.

The service here is excellent whether you order online or simply turn up. It's a popular place and parking can be limited but as the turnover is rapid there should not be too much difficulty. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The haddock is particularly good. I prefer crispier chips. The food is served piping hot and remains warm enough to eat after a short journey

£14.60 for a so-called ‘large’ fish that was more like a fish finger not a fillet you expect barely four bites of actual fish. Chips? A pitiful handful with some gravy. Absolute rip-off. These places clearly aren’t about the food—save your money and go elsewhere.

I have to ask myself why do I return to your restaurant, well this time will definitely be the last and I'll make sure I put reviews anywhere i can to save others from the awful experience. Yet again I didn't get what I ordered at the drive through, I could have checked at the window but my food was literally thrown at me as the service staff couldn't wait to close the window and disappear. I stopped not only was there food missing but what was in there was unwrapped, a real mess with cheese everywhere apart from on the muffin and it was cold. I wouldn't usually but I parked up and went to the window where I could see 6 staff staring at me and giggling like little kids, one waved me to the side when I was eventually greeted the young man was incredibly rude and dismissive not prepared to listen and said your gonna have to order again. I was fuming at how rude this young man was. If this is the sort of people you hire, good luck to you I certainly wouldn't employ them. Totally unacceptable food and service you should feel ashamed.

What can I say about this particular franchise, firstly it’s about time I gave them a review through my regular visits. There is one stand out individual everytime I go in who makes an effort to be personable and friendly. Bobby. Bobby’s ability to befriend and put a smile on peoples faces from all walks of life is outstanding; I’ve witnessed her do this with not only myself but many others whilst I’ve been waiting for my order. Sometimes it’s longer than normal and she is the most attentive with all customers she speaks with, personally I believe Bobby would revitalise other McDonalds with her ability to encourage others to look at situations as she does. Good people breed good culture and in businesses that is hard to find. 10/10 always at this franchise.

Ordered Masala fish with naan. Cost about £11 plus. The naan wasn’t hot and it wasn’t freshly made, I think they buy them in and just heat them. Tasted pretty bad. I also asked for sauces to be put on the side in a container. They just squirted in inside the box. When I paid he said cash. I said I didn’t have cash then the card reader appeared. I used to go few years back and was decent. Now I will never go back. Bad food. Bad customer service and expensive for what it was. Never going back!!

You have try the Masala Fish & Chips in naan with a Rubicon Mango ... best item on menu ... bit pricey due to being fresh cod... but worth a sample if you like fish. Big John's should also enrol in the Blue Light Card offering Civil Servants 10% off. Haven't been to Big Johns for ofer 3 years and was very pleased with the service and the food purchased, which was Donner meat on a bap ( not at all greasy as you would probably have expected) Chips and a portion of Cheesey Macs. The donner burger was presented and wrapped better than some of the individually wrapped burgers I've had from Mcdonalds. The the whole meal was for 2 and was by far, cheaper in cost and was still warm by the time I got back to my car for my wife and I to eat

Wonderful friendly staff, couldnt be more accomodating. I asked if the fries were cooked seperately from the meats and a few other questions which they answered perfectly. Keen and fast. Lovely fresh food and super tasty. I was super impressed with the pizzas i didnt realise it was pick your own topping and you literally can ask for more less of what you want ! keep up the good work.

The worst service ever ordered chicken rice box with strips and fries waited half an hour for my order by the time I got my food it was cold beyond disappointed, the girl who served me Hiba had my order along with 3 other orders was literally holding the food bags and not even calling out people to take the food so she waited for another 15mins holding my food? I’m there waiting fully aware knowing she’s got my food? until I approached the male staff saying are you going to call my order out or is it still being prepared? So the guy had noticed I waited for over half an hour yet a an apology saying sorry for waiting for almost 40mins but that doesn’t justify giving me cold food and then claiming it’s not cold, which could have been easily replaced which was sat in her hands for over 25mins this is beyond disgusted I’m out off this place food I wasn’t able to eat the food as it was cold, that’s where my food is in the bin I will never order again, stale cold fries cold chicken with chilli sauce is vile! It’s not even original pepe sauce! DONT Hire staff who don’t even know basic customer service this has got to be the worst pepe I’ve been to, I live 2min away from here,

I had rice with chicken strips, while my wife ordered a burger. Unfortunately, the chicken rice was terrible; I can't even describe how bad it was. I truly have no idea how anyone could eat it. I feel like I wasted my money today. The fries were also disappointing, and I can't express how bad they were either.

Was on Coventry Road on a Sunday lunchtime looking for somewhere for a quick bite. Happened to finally find somewhere to park outside Pepes so thought I'd try this over the places. Looked cleaner on the inside too. Food was decent. Got the chicken and rice and though I don't get the fuss over the garlic sauce, it was still a pretty good meal. If I was being fussy id have liked the chicken cut a little smaller and the option of having salad and sauce poured over my meal too. That being said I got quite a few tubs of sauce without asking. Got a single chicken XL burger for the kids. Nice fresh bun, good quality cheese and nicely grilled. The breast fillet however was a little on the small side where the kids ended up eating empty bread at the end because there was no chicken left. I wouldn't use them when back in Bradford because there's better options but they're a safe bet when you spot them in another town

Spoken to the senior manager Mohammed he didn't care the worst service received will never order from here rubbish customer service they have with no customer satisfaction. Food was amazing, as is the case in most Pepes. I came for iftar as I was in Birmingham for a few hours and I thought it would be a nice treat. At Iftar time they handed out dates which was very thoughtful. Overall a very pleasant experience with no complaint

I get get the chicken and lamb. Diced, marinated, cooked fresh. Fresh naans too. Takes about 5-10 mins give or take but worth it. Been here plenty since August and not had a bad meal yet. Kebab isn't decent too. Not the best I've had but I've had some top doner. It's definitely high level mind.

This was my first time visiting Shirley, and I was looking for a good place to eat. A friend recommended Shirley Kebab House, and I’m so glad they did! I tried their mix tikka in naan and mix doner with chips, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the portion sizes were big. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Without a doubt, this is the best kebab shop in Birmingham! Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and great service

On hols from Aus, hit by Shirley Kebab House — mate, the mixed meat in chips was massive. We had the mixed tikka in naan, juicy as, 100 percent worth a crack. Their sauces were next level, big feeds, good value!

Extremly disappointed. I phoned to make an order, and was told twice to order online as there were other phone calls that they needed to take. Didn’t understand as I was making an order to collect. Was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, to turn up almost 40 minutes later and it wasn’t ready. I ordered a large amount of food, came to open the fish and chips and the whole batter on one side was mushy soggy and had come off on the paper. Which means the fish had not been cooked properly. The onions on the donner kebab didn’t taste right either and we’ve had our fair share of normal tasting onions. Extremely disappointed will not be ordering from here again.

This is a great fish and chips shop. Love the 2 large fish and chips with either mushy peas or curry sauce for £16.99. Our favourite. However, I think the owners changed and before the large was proper large fish and chips. The new owner has started to shrink them, but keeping the length cutting them thinly. Plus you use to get a proper large bag of chips, now you get a box and that does not equate to the same qty. I understand costs have probably gone up, and so instead of putting up prices, has cut back on quantity. There is a lot great food on the menu with some great kebabs, puffed sweet naan bread and a Turkish menu.

Went on monday evening, we ordered chips, fish, chicken kebab meat, a battered sausage and a cheesy wrap with chicken in. The sausage was dry. The chicken meat was fatty and vile the salad wasnt fresh i bit into a tomato and it was definitely past it. The fish again was dry. We wont be going again as wasn't impressed at all.

This place was nice. I wouldn't say something amazing that you have to come again and again; but it was nice. I puechased the chicken with the curry sauce. It was nice and fresh. Price wasn't too bad considering the portion was big.

Was always a customer, but will never go back after they gave nothing that was my order and took money. Apparently this shop is so high class, they don’t give refunds because they think they’re too good.

Used to be my favourite chip shop within 10 miles totally down hill the cheek to raise the price from £6 to 7.50 for fish and chips and it tastes really bad can tell u using different cheap fish taste really bad honestly stay away from

First time I used this place . Chips were ok but fish was awful, it was black in parts and looked old. I didn’t attempt to eat it.

Very rude staff. After waiting for around half an hour in the queue I was served by a pleasant young lady who took my order which came to just over £25 for 2 fish, chips, peas and curry sauce. I went to wait for my food to be prepared for around 5 minutes. By this point I was the only customer waiting for my food and I'd been in the shop for over half an hour. An older lady came to give me my food. As she was calling it out I walked over whilst nodding and went to take my food that I'd ordered and paid for. She snatched the bag back and said "is this yours?" I replied "yes" and laughed it off as her just being a bit docile and went to take my food and she pulled it back again asking "are you sure?" I said "yes" again and took my food. What kind of customer service is that? It left me confused as to what had just occurred. I won't be returning for this reason. Learn to treat people better. We customers are paying your income. Remember that. There'll always be other places of business to purchase food from and maybe they'll treat people respectfully.

Been going to fish bar for a couple of years now. Used to be brilliant, but last couple of meals were poor. Visited today very disappointed with food. Chips dry, burnt + over cooked. Fish is just batter. Didn't even finish - straight in the bin. What a horrible meal!! May as well have thrown the £26 down the toilet.Won't go back there again - real shame!! If I lived closer I would have taken them back - very annoyed with wasting money.

a hidden little gem. always a nice welcome and service with a smile. i normally have sausage and chips which are delicious but last night i tried their cod, chips and curry sauce. everything was piping hot (so much so, i burnt my mouth but thats my fault) very generous portion of chips, all lovely golden colour, the fish was lovely and covered in the tasty curry sauce, i ate the lot.

I called in for a quick takeaway at about 8pm Friday. The service was so bad and so slow....not well organised at all. I was standing for about 40 minutes waiting to order,and receive my single order. Someone had ordered a bulk order which held all the customers orders up. Also the main girl serving seemed very bossy and intimidating to the young staff to a point it was embarrassing. The food, in the end was excellent, but the service will stop me returning. Improvemwnt is required within the organisation.

Sadly we ordered four portions of chips, and arguably the chips were undercooked. None of the four of us wanted to finish the chips, and the worst I've had for a while. Staff were lovely but the wait was fairly long.

Food was cold burger burnt on one side and under cooked on the other with black bits in the burger mc Donald’s don’t know me and they lucky I never went bk food was not even good enough to give to my dog it’s a disgrace for a world’s famous food chain

Awful service from this branch, would give zero if I could. Ordered 3 fillet (2 meals). Our whole meal was ruined when we got home 2 of the burgers had no fillet in there. Chips had also been mixed so fresh and older chips. Was trying to call the restaurant to complain. I had to prepare a different meal for the evening. As the phone was just calling out from 17:20-19:10. Decided to take a drive out, another inconvenience to complain in store. When I arrived was told She had to speak to someone, when I had asked for a manager. Assistant manager Tabish came out who told me there were crumbs in the boxes so how was there no fish in the burger. Tried to explain 1 burger had fish the other 2 didn’t. I explained to him the burgers has been taken out of the boxes and may have been put back in the box with the burger with the fish. He was having non of it, if he was familiar with his products he would have known the fillet o fish burgers have cheese and melt onto the bread. He was rude and did not want to listen. Who would return food back ans make up a scenario that there were no fish in the burgers. I took the burgers away and said I would return back when a manager is on duty as he was clearly incompetent to deal with the issue with some common sense. These days eating out is a treat for some people and this was our treat ruined and robbed by £16 and a meal ruined is not acceptable. No manners, no accountability and no respect for customers. Whilst I was waiting when I collected my order initially another customer was given wrong ice creams, when I returned back another customer was given a coffee not a hot chocolate. Awful experience will not return here again.

A friend stopped by for a quick meal and was eating his burger in his car, parked in the restaurant’s car park. While still on the premises, he received a parking ticket. The manager assured him it would be taken care of and there was no need to worry. Months later, he was hit with a County Court Judgment and a £300 fine. Extremely disappointing. What should’ve been a quick bite turned into a legal and financial headache.

So the Olton Hollow McDonalds isn’t great. Make sure to take your time and look through your bags before leaving the drive through, even if you have tons of cars behind you. As mad as it may sound, management at the place will literally lie to you if you come back to ask for any missing items. And for some reason we have kept on going back there for several years, as it’s on the way between kids clubs and our home. Every so often there are some food items missing, like some chips or similar. No big deal. I just leave it. However, today they missed off an entire big Mack meal, a portion of fries and a Fanta. First world problems probably :) the Fanta was missed at the order point - communication was tricky due to limited English or inexperience of staff. And I did miss it on the order screen. The chips and the big Mack meal was a bit different however, as I had paid for these and they were in my receipt. After bringing the order back home we realised that food was missing. My family ate what we had in the bags, but felt it was fair to go back to the ‘restaurant’ - is this what McDonalds is?- to make them aware and ask for money back on missing items on the receipt. We asked one staff member about it, who was really nice and apologetic and let her manager know. The manager was a total different kettle of fish. She told me in no uncertain terms that we had been given the entirely order that we had paid for, and that the manager remembered giving us the meal and it had been double checked at the point of handing us the order. So, in other words, saying I am liar and that I was there to get free food… , I found this somewhat insulting. And surprising. Also, the resentment in the managers face and voice was something I haven’t experienced before. Did she have a bad day? It felt really strange to me. Anyhow, the manager did offer to give me a free big Mack meal.. So there is that, just to make things less embarrassing. Anyhow, not feeling great about the situation or wanting to take ‘freebies’, I left. Didn’t want to spend another second in there. Petty dire experience. Cannot say that I can recommend this place. Go somewhere else guys 👍🏻

Just generally poor. What happened to fast food? Angry employees and dissatisfied customers. We have accepted the fact that we will pay more for.less speed, service and quality. We'll afternoon today's visit I want more for my money so I'm going elsewhere

Food is always cold, usually has stuff missing. don't bother ordering online at all its just utter disappointment when/if it eventually arrives and to try and phone them is impossible, even if after the 20th call u do get through it someone snooty and unbothered on the line who then hangs up on you when you ask ware your food is or say things are missing, the phone line is rubbish too. I know its fast food and not to expect amazing things but you’d at least expect better than this

They don’t care about their regulars as I have waited over 2 hours for me curry today and 3 hours for my curry on Christmas Eve. Thought I would give them a second chance and again the guy answers the phone not too fussed. Saying it’s still being made, I live 5 min drive down the road and used it regular before this. I got given a can of coke for the 3 hours wait a can of coke!! Still currently waiting on my food tonight. They don’t update their just eat programme to keep the customers in check either. Would stay away if you are hungry and want a curry within an hour and a half :)

Had delivery today 24 Nov 2024. Chicken Bhoona and Lamb Korai along with garlic rice, peshwai naan, chips, onion bhaji and veg samosa. Best service, awesome taste. One of the best meals we've had yet and we've had a few from this place. Highly recommend.

Had a meal delivered just about 15 mins ago and realised there was no salad as should have been, just about to phone the restaurant and there was a knock on the door with apologies delivering our salad, so thank you so much for being on the case and letting us enjoy our meal 👍👍👍👍👍👍 very satisfied customers 😊

We ordered Murghi Mossomon, Dakeshwari Murghi, Saag aloo, mushroom rice, everything was delicious! We ordered 5 poppadoms, they gave us 10 and extra mint yogurt and onion salad. Definitely will order from there again!

1st experience of Balti Pickles was disappointing food. My wife went to order the food from the shop and arranged to deliver at 19.30. We ordered the set meal for 1 and tandoori chicken. The set meal for 1 consists of poppadom, onion salad & mint sauce. Sheek kebab starter and chicken tikka massala main, Pilau rice or keema naan. poppadoms and sheek kebab where fine but the chicken tikka massala was extremely sweet no spice flavouring very bland and has 3 chunks of chicken in it. We ordered a keema naan which there was no sign of and ended up with pilau rice. Tandoori chicken should have been half a chicken as pictured on the front of there menu served with salad got 2 chicken legs and absolutely no salad what so ever. Was expecting an onion bhaji as the order was over £15 as stated on there menu, not received. The driver that delivered the food was pleasant enough but was looking for payment but my wife had all ready paid at the shop on order, total lack of communication. Food was ordered for 19.30 and turned up at 19.45 after a call to the shop. First and the last time we will be visiting Balti Pickles.

Should be called "5 Lies" - worst veg option ever which was made even more gross by the fact it was cold and almost inedible, however I was told it had just been made? Fries were burnt but I was told they are served "rustic", order was late but was told it was in the queue even though 2 order numbers after mine were called out?. I've been to other branches and had a meat burger and fries, so I definitely know the fries don't usually come like that, plus the guy sitting next to us didn't seem to have fries that resembled ours (dark and dry) - either way, will not be visiting here again; at that price point I would expect somthing better guys 😔

Holy heckin' heck the prices. But the food is amazing. The fries were far better than I thought they'd be. Ended up being my favourite part! Certainly not a bad choice as a one off. But a bit pricey! So only really recommend as a treat/"I don't know where to go let's just go there" kind of meal like I did. Not sure why ordering online only lets you buy a refillable drink when you're ordering *take away* however. A bit annoying. Paying for something you won't be able to use.

Frustrating having to wait over 40 mins hour for a large fries…restaurant was empty other large order were prioritised. Had to chase up where our order was, was told that they had “forgotten our order” manager was kind enough to refund our full order, more than double of portion on our order and give us a gift card for a free meal. There was a concert on in the evening, therefore it was a lot busier than usual but fair play to the staff trying to keep on top of the supply and keeping the dining area, clean and not having the bins overflowing. Only negative was the dozen boxes of peanut oil stacked near the entrance

First time trying Five Guys and I can say it was very good, the staff explained how it works with all the toppings and free top up on the drinks. Was pricey but worth it would definitely recommend.

You just can't beat a Five Guys, yes they're expensive but worth every penny. Food was amazing, staff very friendly and polite, even when it's jam packed and queuing out the door, standards didn't lapse, highly recommended 👍

Having been to a few Five Guys in our time I would have to say that this one is OK. Not great or a five guys that I would rush back to. The burgers were sufficient. They actually seemed to lack a bit taste that normally makes a great Five Guys burger. The portions of the fries was well below a normal portion. I’m not sure how long this has been open as not from the area but I hope for the local community and visiting people to resort world that it is teething issues that can be addressed quickly.

I am truck driver called in to for a take away spare ribs and sweet and sour king prawns ribs were burnt dry and hard and the batter was was cooked but the prawns were still cold put them all in the bin if I could give less than 1 star I would only accept cash had to go to a cash point 😡

Don’t not order from here - the food is disgraceful, greasy, tasteless and do not care as long as you pay cash? The website states 10% off your first order but not for the large size portions which is not in the Terms and conditions. What a waste of money. !!!

Got my order wrong, when I phoned to say the person who took the call was not very helpful, just sarcastic and rude. When I said that he was being sarcastic after I’ve paid a good amount of money for a meal, they said what you want me to do about it...??? Erm, maybe fix it!! I won’t be eating here again. This is my local Chinese and I’ve been here a couple times with no issues. Usually great food. However this time I woke up with food poisoning so I won’t be returning :( really disappointed!

Chips that had been cooked and recoiled several times to a point of being dark brown and hard. Chicken and garlic hard and over cooked. Poor this evening and below usual standard.

I was charged a pound extra than what's on the board, I thought the older gentleman serving was going to give me a bigger portion so I didn't mind but it seemed he missed half the kebab out. The customer prior to me even complained that he didn't put enough meat in and had to amend it but he still did it to mine. Please don't let him scam customers!

First time I have been to this chip shop in about a year. The food was awful. The fish was hard. The chips greasy. The prices were extortionate and the owners hair in my food was not appreciated. We will not be using this chip shop again. Vile.

Absolutely disgusting how you can call this a large portion of mediocre chips and charge around £5 for them! Gone right down the pan this place. Will not be returning if this is what you get. You’ve got Kenilworth and Meriden chippys just down the road that are much better.

Food good very friendly a Haddock made freshly very tasty and meaty. Loads of chips in large chips portion. Cod portion good too.

I have been going into this chippy for many years and it has gone downhill completely. I bought mini fish and chips recently and they were both disgusting. And it happened last time I bought from the place but I thought I would give them another chance. I had to wait for the chips to be cooked which I didn't mind, I thought they would be nice and fresh. But they were awful, so dry, and lots of tiny little pieces of chips in amongst them. The fish were flavourless and the batter was dry, very thin, and horrible. We had bad stomachs afterwards which lasted through the night. This place used to be the best chippy for miles around but I think it has changed management in some respect and after at least 10 years I won't be going there again. I have got better things to do than waste my time doing a review but I feel so annoyed about how the Balsall Fish Bar has deteriorated so much that, because I couldn't find an email address to really vent my feelings, I decided to write this review.

Atmosphere? It's a chippy. All seemed clean and well organised. I ordered a set meal of mini fish, chips and peas. The fish was very small. In my local chippy a mini fish would have been two or even three times as big for less money. I won't stop here again. The girl who served me was very friendly, cheerful, efficient and helpful.

Most expensive chippy I’ve ever eaten from, and the food wasn’t great at all. Not even a pukka pie in sight! BUT you do get a fancy bag to help carry your disappointment back to your car.

Should have been a sign on how empty it was at lunch time, the batter was soggy like it had been microwaved, fish was awful… the chips had no flavour whatsoever (suprised as the ammount of salt that went on them) very un satisfied

Good consistency of chips and portion sizes are decent. £2.40 for a portion, a bit on the steeper than others. The fish is on the small side compared to other chippies I use. I haven’t had a bad portion of chips. Handy tip, always ask to wrap your fish separately. And put salt and vinegar on them at home.

The food is expensive but good. However I've noticed the size but the size of the fish is getting smaller. It seems to me in my own opinion that a small fish is now being sold as large and is way smaller than of fish n chip shops. The chips portions are fine. Why also only can pay in cash no card transactions accepted......

If you love lettuce sandwiches this is right up your street! Paid almost £5 for baguette with hardly any filling. Would have been better getting a Tesco meal deal.

While the sandwiches are on the pricier side, they definitely make up for it in quality. They are made freshly in front of you which is really a nice touch, and they taste amazing once done. The staff are friendly too, always helpful and polite. A slight shame they aren’t open of a weekend. Will go back.

Used this shop a few times now to grab a jacket potato for my lunch. Today I tried the chicken and mint yogurt sandwich ! Wow never again the baguette was half empty and the lady that served me Maybe the owner was rude and had no customer service skills. £4.70 for this no thanks plenty of other great sandwich shops in Solihull I'll start using from now one ,

I used to come here where I was 15 which was over 20 years ago. Menu is still the same and food is just as good as it was then ❤️

Poor service , couldn't see any staff on the counter and one of the staff had long nails with nail polish on and grabbed the burger like that, feels very disgusting. How has this place got 5 stars? The chips were also cold and dry probably been there for a long time. Next time just go to McDonalds.

Suggested to download the apps for the latest offer. I enjoyed the complimentry Whopper, offered to the first purchase. The food is great, marvellous, together with the refilled soft drink. However, I would appreciate if the teens didn't smoke e-cigarettes indoor.

Amateur hour. It took ages for food to arrive, the girl serving seemed to be on a go slow. They seemed more interested in handling delivery orders than the customers actually in the shop. Won't be going back to burger king.

We ordered a family meal takeaway for 5 and you somehow missed the whopper from the order, leaving me with chips that were as hard as cardboard. How can you mess up such a simple order? I then tried using the feedback on the receipt, which surprisingly doesn't work. After spending half hour on an online chat, the delivery service have rectified the issue the best they can.Terrible experience. Order #3338

Service is efficient, food is good, place has been fairly clean despite being busy the few times I've visited. Pretty much in line with the standards I expect from a Burger King. Fairly spacious as well, so not too difficult to find a seat during the lunchtime rush if you're eating in. You can get 20% off your bill if you have a Solihull BID card.

I was a vegetarian and ordered the veggie breakfast sub and when I had a look inside there was egg. I am not happy because all of today I was meant to be veggie. I spoke to the staff saying it’s meant to be for vegetarian and they said next time you should read the menu. I am not happy with this. The staff Where so rude about this situation

Truly awful "ground bean" coffee, weak as water (not grinding enough beans!) with floaters- see pic. On top of that assistant didn't want to give me fresh milk on the side....use the UHT. I avoid their ultra processed subs...and now their "no beans" coffee.

Have used on occasion, mainly for drinks, Staff are always pleasant enough, Latte coffee is pleasant enough, breakfast egg 6in roll ? More bread and sauce than filling ? Extra egg and it is acceptable. The plus side is the price is reasonable for a station.

I recently visited this Subway location and was disappointed with the level of customer service. One of the staff members, a bearded gentleman, displayed a lack of basic customer service etiquette—no greeting, no smile, and an overall unfriendly demeanor, making the experience quite unpleasant. Additionally, the staff member at the till seemed focused solely on completing the billing quickly, without any interaction or customer engagement. While greetings and a friendly attitude are typically expected, she showed no expression and seemed eager to finish the transaction and move to the kitchen counter. Beyond this, both employees were talking and laughing so loudly that it made the entire environment uncomfortable for customers. A professional atmosphere is essential to maintain a welcoming dining experience. There were also noticeable issues with food handling. I observed cross-contamination while the fillings were being picked up, raising concerns about hygiene and food safety. Proper care and handling of food should be a priority, especially in a food establishment. I hope Subway management takes this feedback seriously and considers addressing these concerns to improve service quality and ensure customers receive a positive experience. I would appreciate a response regarding the steps Subway intends to take to improve customer service and food safety at this location.

Horrible service greeted by 2 miserable ladies, one more rude than the other. Simple questions were met with blunt passive aggressive replies, messed up my order, claimed to ‘forget’ to put items into the bag when packing the order, made up excuses for these missing items and then didn’t offer replacement items for the ones that were ‘out of stock’, which was never raised initially… hoping I wouldn’t realise there were missing items in the bag. The sub sandwich was very poorly made, unhygienic practices observed throughout too.

Shut the shop as soon as I was handed my order of a tea . Tea was appalling, far too much milk and as the shutters were closed I was unable to ask for a new one. Very poor customer service and the ability to make a simple cup of tea. Obviously in a rush to close early. (Time 2145 Monday 26th May 2024)

11/4/2025 at 13:45pm payed £8.30 for the tiniest bit of beef and 5 individual pieces of every salad for a salad box will not be going there again. Poor customer service considering the price! Do not recommend!

Ordered Large Fish and Chips. Fish was OK but chips were stale and overcooked or recooked. Very disappointed as it cost over £5 for large chips. I was a regular customer. Not now.

The food quality in general is not too good, friendly but slow service, lots of changes in a short period of time. Chips are usually just plain average & not great at times, some of the prices are ridiculous, but…it will do for a bite to eat if you’re stuck & not in any rush! Like the food, this place is depressingly lacking in any positive atmosphere.

Just came back from nicos, got a large mixed meat and chips, thought I’d have enough chips to give my nippa a few but when I opened my tray I was met with the the most depressing meal I have ever seen, the meat was that dry I feel like I could blend it up and use it as a seasoning, now don’t get me started on the chips they were that bad that it’s almost a good thing there was only a handful there, they were barely cooked, in fact there in the air fryer as I type this!. Would not go to this place again. Me and my son are sitting here watching cocomellon starving now thanks Nico

I’m a 4 minute drive away but thought I’d do delivery. Waited 1 hour for a large fish and small chips and I think they’re suffering from an iron deficiency & they forgot my drink

Our go to place now for fish, chips, and kebab. The staff are friendly and always prompt when we forget to ask for salad or sauces etc Mixed meat and large chips with a large fish - delicious!!

Great service in regards to the speed of it, polite too. Only issue with service was a little cold and direct, no friendliness. Chips were good, my wife said the fish was okay but the chicken kebab meat had loads of fat left on.

I was rushing to catch my bus and didn’t want to waste £5 on a bland meal from Starbucks at the station, so I decided to give this place a try, and it turned out to be the best choice I could’ve made! In under five minutes, I had a lunch box packed with falafel, fresh bread, and a generous portion of well-seasoned salad topped with hummus and other tasty ingredients. All for just £6. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Genuinely the best falafel I’ve had outside of Lebanon! Great prices, healthy, delicious and Palestinian-owned as well. They even have classic Irn Bru! Skip the megacorp franchises in the coach station and come here for a proper feed instead — 5 stars all round, will definitely be back again 🇵🇸🫡

The owner is a true gentlemen. Travelling via National express bus back down to London. Saw this shop on Google maps and popped in. Very pleasant guy, he was up for a chat and even threw in a couple extra falafel bits into my order. When I was heading off after chatting with him some more, he reached into the fridge and gave me a soda drink for the rest of my travels. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely pay him a visit. Food was great too, plus it was reasonably priced. Protect this guy at all costs.

Falafel is one of my favourite lunch meals and this place does it perfectly! Crispy fragrant falafel. Lots of salad and tasty pickles. We had some juice as well and they were so refreshing and delicious! Fully recommended for vegans and all!

202406 Freshly chopped salad! The tabbouleh is one of the most parsley-rich I’ve had. Lemony and not oily, perfect for warmer days. The falafel is crunchy but not crumbly, flavorful and warm. It is a little confusing as there is no standalone falafel on the menu except for the 8-piece and lunch box with 4pc. I ended up having a tabbouleh with 4 pc at the price of 5 pounds. (Will I be able to get 2pc? I’ll try next time.) (And I received 5 pc :> happy) It’s not connected to the coach station but worth a quick detour for fresh food. I had lunch today but look forward to coming back for wraps and plates.

I had King Falafel wrap was amazing. They offered us some falafel until our order got ready, that was nice from them.

Delicious, bang-for-your-buck lunch! £12.5 for a lunch for two! The place is small and at best, can seat 8-10 people. We initially thought of having a large falafel wrap + a fresh juice combo for £7, as they had a variety of tropical fresh fruits juices, but unfortunately only the plain orange juice was available as part of the combo. The Falafel wrap was filed with freshly fried falafel, salad veggies, sauces and hummus (they kindly gave us extra hummus on request). We did feel the wraps could've had more falafel, but they tasted amazing and very filling too. We also had the Vine leaves - if you haven't tried these before, you gotta! They're luscious, tangy and stuffed with a flavourful bulgur wheat salad. Will definitely stop by here the next time I'm around for lunch!

Just had a uber eat arrive !all food was cold and took over 45 mins to arrive ! When I told driver he just laughed - I couldn't eat my food as cold and not appetising went in the bin ! Asked fr extra onion on my burger didnt get any at all looked like it had been thrown around the restaurant tbh wouldn't feed to my dogs ! Fries medium more like a small Fast food is fast food not 45mins to an hour ! They don't even wear gloves ive noticed in the solihull branch - disgusting now I've no dinner to eat thanks

Ordered a 20-piece Chicken McNuggets meal from McDonald’s via Deliveroo and I couldn’t believe what I found when I opened the box — one of the nuggets had already been bitten into. Not broken or damaged during delivery — actually bitten. Totally unacceptable. The box looked sealed from the outside, so I don’t even know where this happened — at the restaurant or during delivery — but either way, this is a massive hygiene and food safety issue. It’s honestly disgusting and made me question what’s going on behind the scenes. I’ve attached photos as proof — this isn’t just a missing item, it’s tampered food. Really disappointed and shocked. This needs to be looked into properly. Not okay at all.

Disappointed with Portion Sizes and Service My recent visit to the Solihull branch left a lot to be desired. First, the self-order machines weren’t printing receipts - a basic but important function, especially if there are issues with an order. I ordered a medium meal, but the fries looked more like a small portion. The carton was barely filled, and it felt like I got the last scraps from the bottom of the fryer. Not what you'd expect when paying for a medium. To top it off, I paid an extra 80p for a milkshake, expecting the full 400ml as advertised. Instead, the cup was noticeably underfilled - around 2cm below the line it should have reached. This isn’t about nitpicking - it’s about getting what you pay for. Please don’t shortchange your customers. I didn’t partially pay, so I shouldn’t receive a partially measured meal. To make matters worse, there were no tissues available and I had to walk back to the counter to ask for some. That said, credit where it’s due: the staff were polite and served quickly - 5 stars there. Just a shame the food quality and setup didn’t match the standard of the team.

They made a burger and everything was outside it, so i went to ask them to change it, 3 times they gave the same touched burger. The guy that i told this too said itll be done in a moment, and then he went to go make it, the same way again, new paper, same burger, same way of the sauce being outside the burger. The classical music will make you cry and fall asleep as the chili sauce drips down your fingers, while you eat the burger that has been manhandled 3 continuous times.

A girl maybe teenage with no manners, served the lady, then straight went off ignored me completely as I was not in front of her, to get service either she was completely rude & uneducated to service people costumers or she is fill in the short of staff, but still she should said ,I will be back in minute, she never said anything, that's very disappointing for me, educate your staff please!

Food is okay, nothing special but decent enough for a quick snack. Trying to customise an order is a complete waste of time. After waiting for over 10 minutes for my order, when i finally got it, they got the order the wrong way round! I ordered a big mac with NO PICKLES and EXTRA LETTUCE, but got EXTRA PICKLES (5 in total) and NO LETTUCE! It would have been easier to order it as it comes, and pick off the pickles myself. Don't think i will be a regular here, especially as there's a Burger King just down the street.

Their muffin, hash brown and cappuccino (though no free refills) are so much better than another chain pub restaurant. Will definitely go there again for breakfast/brunch. I have to amend my 5-star review because of a rude staff member who impolitely blamed us for not putting the number plate for the table service in a place where she could see. It was early in the morning and there were literally just 2 tables (including ours) occupied in the inner part of the restaurant. If she could not see the number plate (which was actually put on the table) she could not blame the customers. Did you expect your customers to put the number plates above their heads?? Besides, I've not been able to get receipts from the machine for quite a long while.

This is the best Jaqks branch so far unlike, the Birmingham City branch. This branch has better staff members, better atmosphere, better cooked & the best quality food especially, the chicken & chips. The only thing that let me down about this branch is there is no customer toilet but it's not major. Ultimately, the staff team don't mess around so, I respect them especially, when they notify you about the cooking process & they are thorough at their job which, I love.

Food was so disappointing. £14 for this “chicken bites meal” chicken had barely any flavour, went to fill up one of the cups with Coca Cola and I kid you not it tasted like 90% bitter water 10% coke. Won’t be coming back.

Amazing handmade fries 🍟 😋 the chicken bites, and the burgers 🍔 😋 are delicious. Loved it 💯% and definitely would be going back again. Been a couple of times now & the food is excellent. Freshly cooked & personally I think it's better than KFC, the chicken is juicy but not greasy & the fries are crispy. The portion sizes are pretty decent too. Staff are friendly & polite, well worth a visit.

Gave this place a try today with my daughter. If there's one thing we both like, it's chicken. This place had some really nice chicken. I ordered the 4 piece box. The leg was stolen by my daughter and devoured in no time, she loved it. Didn't look dry at all and the breast was tasty too. The skin wasn't bad, could taste the salt in it, but nothing over powered. The homecut chips were nice. Even when they had cooled down, they weren't dry and still retained the fluffy texture. Being a fan of wings I tried the hot wings. They weren't too spicy but had a nice flavour to them. The coating was nice and dry, where the chicken just peeled away from the bone nicely. I'll be going back 👌🏽

Service was very nice and very quick also the food was cheap for its quality. Little price for a large meal. I am very full and pleased. Will be coming back soon :)

4 star because the drinks aren't very large however the food is delicious. Highly recommended for anybody in the area who wants some fresh chicken. Better than Nandos. Poor quality photo doesn't do the food justice, try for yourself and see. P.s. change your opening times it closes at 10:30pm on Fridays

Delivery is fairly fast, and the food, particularly the fries, tastes quite good. However for example the chicken fillet burger, the proportions are way over. There's two huge pieces of chicken for one burger. Aside from that they rarely get orders wrong - today I received two tango drinks instead of Pepsi, which is what we ordered. All added up it is quite a good place to eat and would order again.

We were regular customers to chicken shack ordering via just eat app. When we were genuinely disappointed, we gave a review in just eat app. Now they showed bad attitude by cancelling our orders saying that it is hurting their business. Instead of improving their food and service, they are showing small mentality by denying customers. You lost a regular customer forever and I won't recommend to anybody as well. No customer service attitude at all.

Used to be really good but their standards have plummeted. On my last visit we waited nearly 30 minutes for a burger and some fried chicken strips (the strips were already cooked and in the hot cabinet). It wasn't like it was busy either. Staff were forgetful too. I had to ask for our drinks when getting our food. I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised they forgot after 30 minutes waiting though. If you aren't in a rush then this place is perfect but at lunch time you wouldn't expect to wait so long for a frozen burger. With so much competition around they really need to up their game.

It's late night chicken and chips! Not much else really but we've always got on with the staff in there, they're decent dudes. Plus the chicken burger is tasty and the chips are always good. Oh and grab some garlic mayo as it's mighty fine!

Never had an issue with this restaurant before tonight. Had a missing item which I was said to be lying about? I am a loyal customer and have been for many months now and ALWAYS left 10/10 feedback for food, service and delivery! So to be told that I am lying and felt like I am in the wrong for raising the issue of my missing item is disheartening. Sadly we will not be back here until the service has improved, which I hope happens for the restaurants benefit.

Just responding to your recent reply about the chicken and rice box with 3 wings. Please do not believe your staff and blatantly lie to me saying that I had consumed all the food except the last chicken wing. Go ahead and check your CCTV, I did not touch either of the wings except for a tiny bit off the first wing, the wings were hardly touched, as they were covered in charcoal. One of your staff members said to me on a few occasions 'You throw the trays in the bin'. Please actually get some proper staff instead of these rude foreigners as the bin was so full I could barely even put my food in the bin after I had finished, and so i shoved my tray in there to try and get the food in the bin and it slipped out my hand. Please give me a fine example of when I have EVER been rude to your staff, the fact that you are lying to me shows how unprofessional this shop is. Please stop trying to cover your tracks up, as your staff are lying to you and they know exactly what happened. Maybe if your staff actually cleaned the bins out then I wouldn't have to force my tray in there to get the food off my tray, talk about lazy staff. The fact that they have to lie saying I have previously been rude to them shows it all, as your staff, only one of your staff really, was saying rude things to me such as 'You always complain' and 'You stomachs full so you want a refund'. It's not complaining when you are paying for food, and if it's not up to the expectations then I expect a refund. Just confirmed with my friend and he said that his wings were burnt, but he was really hungry and so he was fine with eating them, and thats his choice whether he wants to eat burnt food, but I am not eating burnt chicken wings. I do not appreciate you or your staff lying to me saying that I have been rude which I have never, it's your staff with the problem. The fact that you said 'throw our trays in the bin' is a big white lie, as this only happened once as the bin was completely full and I was trying to shove my food in there. Concluding, one or two off your staff members are straight up rude and need to learn some manners, as I have never been rude once, and the fact that you have to lie about me consuming all the wings except once shows me how you are not professional, as i barely even touched the first wing!!!

Tremendous service! Food was delicious, Really enjoyed it. Took a step into the unknown with the hottest flavour.. So much flavour in the fire! Granted, I didn’t order anything else, a quick snack stop if anything. But if these Chicken tenders are anything to go by.. The rest of the menu gotta be good! Enjoy!

Food tastes good, Cheese sauce is slightly overpowering. Service was very good. Atmosphere was good but could be better quality chairs and seating area. Can feel occasional draft from back entrance of shopping centre.

I normally never write review, but this place need it so everyone knows it. Every food I have try they make it so good and so fresh. If I could have every day the chicken bites I would do it. And even the staff who works there are so friendly and nice, always smiling. I have been going this place since January and today I said I have to write a review. These delicious chicken wings, have been the best chicken wings I've had in a long time. Forget about small and bland tasting chicken wings and embrace above average size wings with spicy sauce that doesn't compromise taste for spicyness, give them a try as they are pretty new in solihull, places like these could really benefit from local people, they come and go if they aren't given a chance, if you are lucky they might give you some free vouchers so take them while you can!!!
