The worst steak ever..... last day in Sete, having enjoyed wonderful seafood all week we fancied Steak & Frites before going home. Looking around at the steaks people were enjoying we were expectant. Sadly our steaks were both inedible, see the photo, would they have served that to French customers? I think not. Small and cosy restaurant with only a handful of tables. The food was excellent apart from maybe one dish we had (the toast with cheese). It was astonishing that this restaurant was only run by one chef and one waitress. The prices were cheaper than similar michelin starred restaurants.

Chose this from the Michelin guide for our anniversary. Lovely water view. Nice ambiance. Noticed sign on front door that they were looking for servers to hire - not a good omen, we thought. There were 2 servers for the entire room, so they did the best they could. But it wasn't the greatest service, understandably. If you're not getting the fixed menu, the ala carte options are slim and not very desirable. Only thing we wanted was the lobster risotto, but because "the chef is not working tonight" (?) it was unavailable. Hubs just had a fish appetizer (not great) and i had a mediocre monkfish entree that i didn't even finish. A few drinks added in and it was a big waste of €85.
