Amazing Chinese pastry. So good. Got a curry beef bun and matcha fluff. Not too sweet, savoury curry and matcha bitterness, all tastes just on spot in both buns. That add 50C on a payment with card under 10$, but okay, some other bakeries don’t let you even let you pay under 10. Recommendation!

The outside of the bakery was very cute and when I went inside I immediately smelt the sweet aroma of the beautiful pastry’s. I ordered the oatmeal raisin($5.75), chocolate chip cookie($5.75), and a lemon pound cake($5). All of the pastries were nice and soft, the chocolate chip had the right amount of chocolate chips and melted in my mouth! The lemon pound cake is the right amount of dense and is moist. The oatmeal raisin cookie was good, but I wish there was more raisin in the cookie.

This place has really inventive pastries that are both tasty and visually beautiful looking. It completely elevates the experience of eating cake into something special. The Geometric Apple is a stand out but the Raspberry Pistachio was also delicious. Nothing was overly sweet. The cafe is clean with a decent amount of seating. Service was good, with some friendly staff members helping us out.

We always get our kids birthday cupcakes here and the Party Favors team has done amazing variations over the years. A Solar system. The very hungry caterpillar and their wonderful animal designs. This is an amazing family run business and we are lucky to have them in Brookline!

Scoop and Scootery is hands down one of the most creative ice cream spots around! Their flavor combinations are absolutely insane (in the best way possible), and every dessert is crazier than the last—in the most delicious way. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or want to go all out with a totally wild sundae, they’ve got you covered. The staff is great, and the ice cream is next-level. If you love over-the-top, one-of-a-kind desserts, this is THE place to go. Highly recommend!

While the originator may be a bum, Eataly is a great conception of an Italian food hall. Somewhat reminiscent of the grocery stores in Italy, there are some great products and prepared foods in this store. It can be very busy but it's a large store so it was fun to explore. Great for a meal or a snake.

Every dish was amazing. We had previously dined at the sister establishment Sarma, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Oleana did not disappoint either! We dined as a table of four and just shared a bunch of dishes. We left full and satisfied. The service was great, they were very concerned about making sure we knew there were no allergens in the dishes. Great Mediterranean flavours and incredible and affordable wine list.

I know this is a chain and I usually go to small quaint coffee shops when I'm visiting a town, but this is definitely worth a stop! It was probably the best cup of coffee/latte I had on my entire trip to Boston. Their pastries and desserts are delicious! Really cool vibe on the inside and there is outdoor seating as well. I can't imagine you would not be able to find something that you would enjoy here. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or a late snack/ dessert. I highly recommend!

Phenomenal food and fantastic service!!! Highly recommended for vegan/vegetarian!🥰 As a party of two, we greatly appreciate the small sharing plates so we could try out different dishes. The Brussels sprouts and Sichuan sliced beef are the spotlights of the night! Our server was super attentive with great recommendations!! Besides our main server, the whole crew includes the hosts were chiming in to fill up our water and clean up dirty dishes. That's what make it a 10/10 dining experience! The place could get busy, reservation is highly recommended, especially for bigger party.

We had a great dining experience. From the food, to the service and atmosphere everything was top notch. The family style dishes were filling and very flavorful. I would say that for 2 ppl, 3 dishes is more than enough. We didn’t have room for desert. The drinks looked great; and the non-alcoholic beverages were reasonably priced. Would definitely go back there!!

I have never been here before and was invited to a wedding. The restaurant set back from the street, which is nice. The back room is quaint and isolated from the main dining area, which is wonderful for a private event. The beets & Goat cheese was fresh and mouth watering, just perfect. The potato soup was good, I prefer it a little thicker and more bacon in it. The main course I chose was steak, and it was cooked perfectly but it was not very warm ( it’s hard for a large number of people I understand). The steak came with a bed of mashed potatoes and green beans, which were both delicious. I will definitely make it back for a family dinner, the food & experience overall was great.

This place was recommended and after receiving a gift card I went with my mother to check this place out. While pricey, if you’re willing to cough up some cash it is well worth the money for the quality you will get from this food. We had ordered the Turkish style breakfast which had a soft boiled egg wrapped in an ingredient I do not know the name of but it added crunch and mild sweetness to it. There were cucumbers, olives, tomato that was mashed and sweet yogurt which was topped with seasonal spoon sweets. You can refer to the image but this was one of my favorite things with the blend of refreshing vegetables that were light and paired with sweet creamy substances. It was filling yet not overbearing. Geno’s egg sandwich was worth the getting my hands messy as the egg was cooked just enough that the yolk broke upon first bite adding extra flavor that brought out the halloumi cheese and tomato concasse. The granola bowl was another favorite being served in Egyptian carrot jam and labne that made it stand out compared to other granola bowls. We had purchased the Turkish coffee which we felt was decent but not as good as Andala coffee houses especially when comparing price and value. The desserts were the date almond ma’amoul and chocolate tahini tart. The tart was smooth, rich and not overly sweet compared to the breakfast Items which was a nice change. Lastly, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The music was middle eastern and not so loud that you could not have a conversation.

Stopped by L.A. Burdick in Boston and wow—what a cozy little chocolate haven. I had the spicy hot chocolate and it was thick, rich, and had just the right kick. Also grabbed a chocolate mousse cake—super light and fluffy, perfect with the drink. Definitely coming back when I need a sweet fix!

Rosebud has been a historic staple of Somerville for several years. Originally built in 1941, it has recently gone through some changes with the new owners attempting to add a South Asian flare to the traditional diner cuisine Rosebud is renowned for. Prior to the changes, I had gone several times and had an excellent experience between the food, service and atmosphere. Since its changes, there have been 2 dining experiences I have gone with a group of 3 others with. Initially, the food was underwhelming such as the hollandaise sauce on the eggs benny that were ordered as well as the masala chai french toast although the waffle order was satisfying. Aside from that, the additional berries cost $3 yet provided literally 2 berries. There were some other issues like the door being held open for a long period under frigid conditions (apx 30 or less degrees) to the point customers began putting their winter jackets on and complaining. The drinks on the other hand were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. After speaking with the owner/manager, they had invited us to return for another experience with a discount after overhearing our qualms and concerns. Upon return, the additional berries option was removed from the masala chai french toast and I found the food to be absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the drinks did not disappoint at all just like the time before. The Tandoori steak frites, butter chicken pot pie and the Ros omelette were the dishes of choice this time around. The tandoori steak frites had a nice flair to it due to the makhani sauce. While I personally felt it was a bit overcooked (I like my steak rare), it was not overcooked to the point it was inedible at all, but closer to medium/medium well. The butter chicken pot pie had a wonderfully flaky crust and a warm, moist, perfectly seasoned butter chicken that while delicious in the summer time, reminded me of waking up on a brisk morning and taking in the first sip of hot coffee to warm myself up. The Ros omelette had a curry that a spice blend that was a perfect medley of indian spices and minced onions that complimented an omelette so well that I think I'd like to eat my omelettes like this moving forward. The new Rosebud has overall been doing excellent with taking feedback to improve, and maintaining aspects of the old Rosebud charm while adding its own flair to make it unique, would recommend trying it out!

Delicious bakery with the croissants a stand out. Long line, we waited like 20 minutes, but worth it for the goodies. The coffee shop is separate, so if you go with someone, you can split up and order drinks while one person waits in line. Small area inside, no seating

Amorino Gelato is absolutely incredible! The gelato is rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor—you can really taste the quality in every scoop. With so many delicious options to choose from, it’s hard to pick a favorite. A perfect spot for a sweet treat—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Loved the atmosphere, the staff, and the service and the food was amazing. The chef herself brought the food out and that level of personal interaction with the person who’s cooking your food is a unique experience. Will definitely be coming back. The lamb meatballs were so good and was my favorite. Went back for brunch and enjoyed everything.

I’m consistently delighted by how delicious and surprising the food can be at Eventide. The lobster roll is my favorite in the city! I also love to get the tofu sandwich (so stupid good) and the fish sandwich (perfection). I think it’s always worth trying the funkier things they rotate on the menu too though! They know what they’re doing. This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

Local chocolate shops that sells house-made bonbons and craft chocolates from niche, independent brands. Stopped by a few times over the summer and again before Halloween to pick up some treats. While a bit on the pricey side, they offer a good selection of mini bonbons (~$4ea) and award-winning chocolate bars that make for perfect little gifts. Personally, I love grabbing a few bonbons and topping it off with a refreshing scoop of berry sorbet (they also have a small selection of gelato/sorbet). If you’re after unique chocolate treats or gifts, this place is worth a visit.

I've never once left a review at a restaurant, but went here last night and was blown away. 10/10 Fancy, gourmet, delicious. Incredible. And not that expensive either, given how unique and special each dish felt like. We didn't order any of the entrees, we just ordered lots of Tapas for the table, and that's probably what I would do again. Each one was exquisite and unique. They're decent sized, I think we shared 6 tapas for 3 people and was a pretty great mix (they did offer to make some of the tapas 3 items instead of 2 for easier sharing, not sure if they charged extra for that but I wouldn't have minded). 10/10 Go here. Or don't, because I want to get a table.

Best cupcakes on the planet. Make sure you get the ones that have only frosting on the top, vanilla or chocolate. Only. The other ones are good but they're made to sell to the kids because of the fancy designs and art that's on top. Those are not the same. The cupcakes I'm talking about are old school, haven't changed in over 50 years, very reliable. Just make sure to have a half a gallon of milk with you. Six pack of cupcakes! The half Moon madness special is a good deal, buy one get one free. But those cupcakes, mmmmmm!

Heard Blunch had the best chocolate chip cookies, so I had to check it out. I can happily report that the Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie ($3.27) truly was the best chocolate chip cookie that I’ve had in Boston. It had the perfect crunchiness all around while still maintaining a slightly chewy center. The chocolate chips were also huge and nicely melted. Also, as heavy as this cookie was, it somehow wasn’t sickly sweet like other dense cookies that I’ve tried. I do think the price is a bit high, but it’s probably for the better that there’s something to stop me from getting this too often. Unlike other cafes, this place isn’t open on weekends, so plan accordingly. The inside is very small, but people knew not to block the flow of traffic. There is also some outdoor seating. There is a $5 minimum for credit cards.

A must stop if you are looking for good pastry and coffee. The selection is wider than that tho, with anything from cream filled pastry to savory nigiri! its a quite, cozy place with good service. Their cold brew with cream has a nice chocolaty note 🫶 (personally the matcha flavored pastry was not that flavorful, but that’s personal)

I recently visited this place. The place has some unique and new flavors. We tried the Horchata (vegan) and MatchaLemon as one small scoop and we tried thaiIceTea+JasmineSeasaltGanache. We picked good flavor combinations I think. The store was warmer than outside making it difficult to sit inside and eat. All in all, good experience.

This place is THE BOMB. Just a grill in the back pumping out fresh and delicious sandwiches. I’ve had a few breakfast sandwiches, and they never disappoint. The bagels are some of the best in the area. Don’t sleep on the donuts either. The cake ones in particular are just phenomenal. I’ve never had a wait, but am usually there mid week during the day. Plenty of seating, staff is friendly, bomb food— what are you waiting for?!

Lady M Boston is hands down my go-to for the best cake in the city. I’ve visited multiple times, and the quality is always incredible. Especially their Mille Crêpes cakes, which are light, flavorful, and totally addictive. When I can’t make it in person, I’ll order on DoorDash to satisfy the craving. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a sweet treat, Lady M never disappoints :)

The friendliest bartista today on this Saturday , the 18th of January. This guy really loves his job and the establishment. So happy to get good vibes when ordering my coffee and donut. Prices are reasonable for quality gourmet and best donut recognition in Boston ma . Parking is difficult but manageable. Smaller location than most and doesn’t carry the full menu . Other than that everything is perfect .

Great service and great food. We followed the suggestion to go with sharing plates and were not disappointed. Everything was carefully prepared and delicately plated, and naturally, delicious and flavorful. During our visit they had a scallop special which would be a lovely addition to the main menu - really delicious and perfectly cooked. The unicorn oysters were good, but with the topping ratio, the true taste of the oyster was a bit too masked. That said, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

This place has unique Asian desserts that are mostly fruit-themed. We had mango sago with shaved ice and some type of fruit pudding with fresh fruit and black sticky rice. This area of Brighton has a lot of similar dessert places which we noticed while walking around.

Got the Iced Rose Latte (half sweet), Peaflower Tea, Feta Za’atar Scone, Pain Au Chocolat, and Orange Cardamom Scone. The rose latte was spectacular! The drink was very well balanced: it was adequately strong, milky, and sweet. The homemade rose syrup tasted really good without taking away from the coffee taste. The Peaflower tea was also really good and unique. The highlight was the Feta Za’atar scone. Beware that it’s a bit salty, but I enjoyed it. The pain au chocolat was a miss imo as the dough wasn’t flaky enough and the chocolate filling tasted mediocre. The orange cardamom scone was pretty good, but nothing spectacular.

Other than the ghosts I have absolutely no complaints or issues with the place, kidding about the ghosts of course. This hotel is a great location, central to many places making most of the places we wanted to see easy to walk to. All the staff here were great, bellhops especially. The gym was nice, had all the equipment I would want in a hotel gym, they also have work in your room kit that has some weights and other things for a workout. My room was small but was well done, had all the things I would need and I really liked the bathroom, nice shower too. Overall it’s a very expensive hotel but if you have the money and want to be close to things then this is the one to stay at.

Stopped in after the game craving ice cream — even though it was pouring rain — and it was so worth it. 😊 The brownie sundae was delicious! The staff member helping us wasn’t exactly friendly, but she was extremely careful with an allergy in our group, which I really appreciated. Great spot for a post-game treat.

This was such a random pick but boy it was a good experience! The service was good, ambience is pretty too but the best thing is their Butter chicken panini is to die for!! I would go there just to have that! Also, had their coffee cake which was not at all good. So i think it’s a hit or miss but worth a shot!

Had a great gathering here. I've never heard of 'strawberry latte' so tried that and it was like strawberry milk with real strawberry. It was real strawberry flavor not chemical, not too sweet, and very refreshing and pleasant. Other drinks were from my friends for reference. Tried the cloud cake and it was amazing. Very soft sponge cake and well-whipped cream. It went very well with the strawberry latte. Again, not so sweet so I felt like I could have multiple pieces in one sitting. It was yummy. Also tried salt bread: it tasted like soft, slightly salty baguette. Had a nice buttery and just-baked type of taste. Soboru bread was also soft and not too buttery or sweet. I don't like too sweet bakery so it was a pleasure dining here. Nice sitting areas to chitchat. I will be visiting here again!!

This place is highly recommended! It was our first stop in Chinatown, after seeing this place on tiktok. The staff was awesome and friendly, gave us some advice for the day and where to go. The cereal killer waffle and strawberry lemonade were both great and fresh. Will definitely come back!

Far Out Ice Cream is a newer ice cream spot that has been open for about a year specializing in New Zealand style ice cream. They have a robust display of flavors, as well as mix-ins and toppings that go with the ice cream. It was our first time trying it, and the staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was close to closing time. They explained how the ice cream is made and the best combinations for each flavor. We got 2 different ice creams with toppings mixed in, as well as a milkshake. The ice cream looked like soft serve, but wasn't soft serve. The consistency was pretty smooth and not too sweet, and the mix-ins and toppings went well with the flavors. The milkshake wasn't too thick or too watery, but had a good flavor. Prices weren't too high, and they also had premade ice cream pints in a freezer available to buy. Overall, a great first experience and highly recommended to try.

They have such creative flavors to enjoy for those who are seeking milk alternative desserts. The person at the counter was super nice and let me try as many flavors as needed to help me make my decision. The store is really big, good for a group hangout or maybe even a small event. Would come back to try other flavors. I got the PB cookie ice cream, it tastes the least like coconut milk (which I don’t mind, but fyi) but I would have also gotten their seasonal chai flavor.

This place had some of the best boba I have ever had but the oolong tea itself was lacking in the roasted flavor. This place definitely has great toppings and the price was reasonable. I loved the atmosphere it was very calming with lots of open seating.

So happy to see Mike's Pastry's in the train station. There was no line on a Saturday afternoon. We picked up a piece of tiramisu, which was delicious. They had many delicious options to choose from even though this is a much smaller location. We will definitely be back next time we take the train.

Wonderful food! Inventive and unexpected flavor and texture combinations all served by a friendly wait staff (hipster without the attitude). The pasta dishes are fantastic with some the best pasta (flavorful, chewy) I've ever had. A very good wine selection, too. Loud but not so loud that you have to quite shout.

Cute little cafe on Harvard. A good selection of both sweet and savory crepes. I had storming the basil (savory) which was delicious. And a Nutella latte, because I could not resist ... also good. The decor is old black and white photos and posters which enhance feeling of France; the music vibes like 60s and 70s French music. I was here just after they opened on a Monday and there was plenty of seating. A few folks got things to go, all orders were dealt with quickly. Worth it for the crepes, the whimsy in some titles of menu items. This also seemed like a place the neighborhood liked (I was only visiting).

The Tatte in Fenway has a cute, warm interior and a convenient location. It gets very busy, so be prepared to wait for a table, but it's worth it. I loved the lentil soup and the apple crumble cake. It's a great spot for a quick bite or for getting some work or studying done.

Fantastic unique cakes & pastries. Great coffee. Only drawback was that some cakes were defrosting, still a bit cold/frozen inside. EXCELLENT baklava.
