Fusion restaurant
Galanga Garden Restaurant is a charming dining spot in Amed, offering a fusion of Indonesian and Western cuisine. The menu features a variety of scrumptious options including salads, wraps, and pasta dishes with an emphasis on vegan and vegetarian choices. Guests can enjoy their meals throughout the day from breakfast to dinner. The restaurant's delightful garden setting adds to the local charm and atmosphere. Diners have praised the flavorful Indonesian dishes served on banana leaves, as well as the friendly service provided by the staff.
Unexpected beauty of this place combined with delicious meals and wonderful tastes. Galanga is kind of a restaurant you must try! Next to the road but absolutely private. You can choose classic tables or garden - which I recommend! Enjoy your best food in Bali with greetings from wonderful local staff. Reservation recommended.

Alright food - depends what food you get. Great service with a very nice and kind woman. Atmosphere is beautiful with a cat if you’re lucky. There are ants on the floor and they sometimes climb up to the table. I’d recommend to book a table since none were available on the night before. Overall 3 star.
Michael B — Google review
GEM of Amed Beauty atmosphere, definitely get a spot in the garden unless you need to be in a chair. Recommend reservations if coming during dinner time. Food is top notch and good value. Arak is home made and delicious. Staff are very attentive, helpful & speak great English. Love love love coming here.
Tanner R — Google review
Wonderful dinner in Amed! The ambience was perfect, the food — a delightful Indonesian-French fusion — was outstanding, and the service warm and attentive. Highly recommended! (Please note to book via WhatsApp)
Emanuela S — Google review
The value for money was quite good here. I ordered some jackfruit nuggets, an asian salad with tofu and a tempe burger. All of them I ordered to get picked up by the staff of the hotel I was staying in. Actually I liked the taste of everything, but I especially was surprised of the jackfruit nuggets, which I never had before. They came with a tomato sauce and were very good! Perhaps the burger could have been be a bit more intense in taste.
Thomas D — Google review
Reservation maybe needed in busy times - and worth making one! Galanga food and service was so good ❤️ standout was the Fish green mango Pepes - incredible flavour. The cocktails were really good too.
India R — Google review
A must do! Wonderful experience mixing local flavours and the French touch. The sits in the garden are so charming as well. The service, perfect. Better to make a reservation in advance if you want to ensure having a table (especially in the high season)
Simon — Google review
This place was excellent. They serve small welcome drinks & a homemade snack upon seating. It's an adorable little garden setting with friendly staff. From the soup to the pasta to the dessert, everything was homemade with lots of love, and you can certainly taste it. It's also very fairly priced with good portion sizes.

Guests can savor the Gusto Special Hungarian Gulash or explore daily specials for unique options. The establishment provides free delivery services as well.
We came here for dinner and ordered the beef steaks. They were honestly cooked to perfection, super tender and just really delicious!! I couldn’t fault it - bang on with the flavours and cookery - one of the best steaks I’ve had. Excellent value for money and a gorgeous dinner spot. Our favourite dinner in Amed, for sure! Also, loved hot ginger drink! 😍 we wish we had stopped by for a sunset dinner, because the views would’ve been gorgeous. Not the best road getting here, quite a few potholes, so drive carefully particularly in the dark.
Corrina A — Google review
From this place I ordered some food to get picked up from the staff of the accommodation I stayed in. I had a delicious veggie pizza, some mushroom ravioli and a pumpkin salad. All of them were really good in taste! But I would have wished, that the pasta portion would have been more generous, cause it contained a few raviolis only. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the food!
Thomas D — Google review
Went there for dinner and i was blown away with the food! I ordered shrimp ravioli, beef gnocchi, seafood pizza, and beef lasagna and ALL of it was scrumptious! Food was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. This restaurant is not that big so i suggest to make a reservation upon coming there. Definitely will come back when I visit Amed next time. Keep it up!
Novieta S — Google review
Very nice . Very cozy place , food is good, prices are affordable. Pasta was a bit dry, we felt like lack of sauce, but good anyway. Tuna steak was delicious- with mashed potatoes and fried onion 🤩. Tom Yum soup was good although not very classic Tom Yum indeed. All in all , we loved the food and place ❤️

Favourite place in Amed! We literally ate here every night of our stay and everything we tried was divine. Highly recommend the bruschetta's. Would give this place 10 stars if I could :) We even got a present when we left on our last night, which totally melted our hearts. Thank you so so much to the lovely staff and we hope to see you again some time!!!
Renske B — Google review
The place is super nice with an amazing ocean view and fresh breeze. Staff are really friendly, and the food tastes great. Totally recommend eating here! And they do delivery as well ☺️
Intan C — Google review
It was absolutely fantastic! The food was out of this world — especially the pizza, which completely won me over. I can’t remember the last time I had such a perfect crust… My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant one afternoon, and from that moment on we came back every single day until the end of our trip — even our farewell dinner on the last day was here. The staff are friendly, and as a sweet goodbye we were even treated to a brownie. I'm back in Europe now and honestly wish I could have a slice of that pizza right here, right now. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the charming coastal town of Amed, Bali, Trattoria Amed is a delightful Italian restaurant that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its stunning ocean views and relaxed ambiance, this eatery serves up a mouthwatering array of authentic Italian dishes including pasta, pizza, and fresh salads. Guests rave about the warm and attentive service that complements the delicious food perfectly.
Dinner for 4! A welcome by all staff to shame the Royals. Delicate pizza. Precious cocktails. Lip-smacking ribs. Colourful views. Scary delicious chocolate lava cake. When in Amed, be selfish and go and experience Trattoria.

leaving close to Italy, i definitely didn’t go to Bali to eat italian but i was really surprised in a good way, came back 2 times after the first one. everything was delicious and staff was nice. would recommend

Food was heavenly and the pizza was one of the best I've had. Definitely a big highlight of our Bali trip. Would love to go again!
Akanksha B — Google review
We absolutely loved the food here in Trattoria Amed. We honestly weren't expecting such amazing, high-quality dishes. The beef carpaccio was delightful, and the pizza was the best we've had in Bali. And the steak? Simply amazing—perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. We highly recommend both the steak and the pizzas! Unfortunately, we can't say the same for the seafood spaghetti. I'm sure normally its delicious but there was a miscommunication with the waitress. We were first served seafood soup by mistake, and then that same soup was apparently turned into spaghetti, resulting in all the seafood being overcooked. Despite that one hiccup, we loved it so much that we came here two days in a row. Its definetly our favorite spot in Amed!
Ece B — Google review
We really enjoyed our dinner here this evening. We had an octopus carpaccio followed by a pizza and pumpkin ravioli. It was all delicious. The service was great and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is comfortable and overlooks the sea. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that there weren’t enough by the glass wine options. They have lots of wine bottles so I think this would be possible.
Bronwen H — Google review
Absolutely love this place! Every time I come here, the food is consistently delicious and the service is warm and attentive. They prepare everything really fast, yet the dishes look and taste like something from a fine dining restaurant. Highly recommend the tuna tartare – it’s so tender with a subtle smoky flavor that just melts in your mouth! Portions are huge, so you’ll never leave hungry. And I love the little touch of a complimentary bruschetta with tomatoes – such a simple but thoughtful detail. Cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. ♥️
Оксана Е — Google review
Discovering Trattoria Amed was a true culinary revelation! From my very first visit, I was utterly captivated by the simply amazing food. It quickly became my go-to spot, and I found myself returning again and again because the quality was consistently exceptional. Not once was I disappointed; in fact, every single meal surpassed my expectations, leaving me delighted and eager for my next visit. While everything on the menu is fantastic, the steak truly stands out as the undisputed highlight. As someone from a country known for its meat, and having only recently reintroduced meat into my diet, finding such an incredible steak dinner was a game-changer. Trattoria Amed's steak is cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and frankly, everything you could hope for and more. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience where every dish is a winner, especially if you appreciate a truly great steak, Trattoria Amed is an absolute must-try. You won't regret it!

Seafood restaurant
Balinese restaurant
The seafood restaurant Warung Celagi is located near the Pantai Amed beach so guests can enjoy the beautiful view. The restaurant offers traditional Indonesian food as well as Western dishes from Bali. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent. One improvement would be to improve the customer service, in order to make guests feel more welcome. Overall, this seafood restaurant is a great choice for anyone visiting Bali!
I had the grilled barracuda and my son ate a chicken burger. We also had lumpia to start and some mango juice to wash it all down. Everything was tasty and fresh and served with a smile. My son enjoyed stacking rocks while we waited and I enjoyed reading my book. I just wish the ants and flies would have left us alone while eating. Maybe a fan would help?
Amanda I — Google review
Only popped in for a couple of cold beers. Service was ok, no stubbie holders. My beer was flat, so I'm guessing it has been frozen at some point. 40k IDR per beer is very expensive for Amed unless it's in a prime location like Sunset point. It's still a nice beach front Warung but too expensive. We won't be back.
Mr S — Google review
Geat food, I had super curry with fish, vegetaboes and rise. So good. And the fresh fruit juices are si nice with a lot of fruit. The Bali local dishes are also great, we had local fish. Great that like other places they keep on going mostly Bali and Indonesian food and not trying to imitate western.
Eva C — Google review
Easily the best fish we've had in Bali! The curry was also very tasty, and we loved the lak lak. Even the juices (one watermelon, one banana mango) were delicious, way better than what we had previously.
Gabriel - — Google review
Seafront seats in a quiet location. The grilled fish was delicious. We feel that the amount of vegetables provided as the side dish could be a bit bigger.
Carole M — Google review
We found this fabulous warung on the beach our first day and we've been back every day since! They have authentic Balinese dishes which are delicious, would recommend the grilled prawns, the curries, the fish in banana leaf... All yummy. Met Ketut today, one of the chefs and she was so friendly.
Pebs F — Google review
Actually we just choose random place and finally we are so happy to have dinner in the great place and tasty food. The staff are really nice. Best time on sunset time, you can enjoy the food even able to swim/snorkeling in front of the restaurant.
Veronica — Google review
Yes a great place for a meal right by the beach 🏖️ Beer was cold , great on a very hot day Service good & staff friendly but didn’t like staff smoking close by while they were cleaning Food was beautiful as I’ve tasted food all over Bali I think their lumpia are the best or very close Prices reasonable Great place anytime for a meal

Warung Sabar is a cozy and welcoming restaurant in Lipah that offers delicious food with a diverse menu. The vegetarian tempeh burger is surprisingly juicy and flavorful, even for meat eaters. The cap cay and grilled squid are also highly recommended. The service is fast and efficient, and the inclusive tax prices are a plus. However, the veranda is currently under renovation, causing some noise disturbance. The atmosphere is very welcoming, making guests feel like part of the family.
We have been here three times in three days - trying as much of the menu as possible. Everything is amazing! The fish cakes are delicious, our son loved the onion rings, our daughter the chicken satay. Everything was beautiful. Highly recommend.
Carl R — Google review
Delicious and flavorful food, served in modest but satisfying portions. The place is a bit noisy due to traffic from the nearby road, but the warm and friendly staff more than makes up for it. It’s a charming little family-run restaurant, and we loved that the kids were involved and even helped bring the menus. Cozy vibe, lovely mountain view, and overall a really enjoyable dinner.
Alexander P — Google review
This was our best food experience in Amed, and one of our favorites in Bali even. We can especially recommend the grilled squid with garlic, calamari and the nasi campur. We also booked a snorkeling tour with Made as our guide and had a really nice time. He has a lot of local knowledge and knows how the tides go and differ from the norm. We saw three sea turtles and loads of fish!
Angelica S — Google review
Wow, what an incredible meal. A beautiful family owned business. The food is genuinely amazing, I got the pepes ikan and I can safely say it was the best seafood dish I have ever had. Beautifully cooked & seasoned, great portion size, amazing value. The family staff are all so friendly and speak amazing English too. My girlfriend has an egg and nut allergy and they were super accommodating. We will definitely be back as much as we can while we stay in Amed.
Harry T — Google review
One of the best food in Bali so far. Absolutely tasty ribs and good portion of meat and dessert. Amazing and friendly staff & service. Recommend 💯
Nikola N — Google review
What a nice meals. The portions are right, otherwise just order a 2nd if you are real hungry. Nice, friendly, family service. Tip; Order the sateh as extra Tip; if you are with a group of 8 or more you can consider a 1 day before order of smoked/bbq baby pig you enjoy with whole group
Patricia O — Google review
A truly fantastic lunch experience at Warung Sabar! This was easily the best meal we've had during our time in Amed. My Babi Kecap was a standout—it was so much more than just a sweet soy sauce flavor. The spices were complex and delicious, and the pork was incredibly juicy and tender. My husband's Nasi Campur was also excellent, with a great variety of flavors. Both dishes were generously portioned. We also loved our ice-cold beers and the fresh pawpaw juice. A definite must-visit for anyone in the area!
Andina R — Google review
Lovely sweet family owned business - the father and son were really welcoming and friendly. Their English is great too. They were fantastic about my food allergies and very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and healthy. We will be back this week I am sure! Thank you!!

Recommending this place SO MUCH! Tried different dishes and can it's the best Warung food I have had in Bali. Lovely owners too!

A great little warung with tasty fresh food. The fish curry and the mie goreng were so delicious. The owners are so nice and friendly also. And it’s cheap! What more could you want

Small local spot with just a few tables and a visible kitchen in the middle. I ordered what they suggested—the Ikan Kelapa (fish, I think barracuda, in a yellow ginger-style sauce)—and it was delicious. The portion was on the smaller side, but enough for me. 100% recommended.

Wow, love this place, we keep coming back and ordering the same meals 🤣. Chicken is so tender, vegetables really tasty, sauces - yum!!!! Little gem this one 👍🏼

We ordered Balinese Curry Chicken (left side), Pork (right down) and Nasi Goreng (right up), all with spicy, taste very good and full of Balinese flavor 👍 xiaobao proofed.

We stayed 9 days in Amed and I think we went there almost 5 nights! This is the most authentic Warung with from far the best food ever!!

Very nice food, we had nasi campur and a fish plate, everything was very good and homemade ! The watermelon juice was also very nice, fresh and tasty. We really recommend this place if you want to try local food !

Very friendly and good value. I couldn't decide what to order so went for nasi campur. The rendang was delicious - I could have eaten more of that, but couldn't see beef rendang on the menu 🤔. The chicken and vegetable parts of the nasi campur was quite cold; don't know whether they're meant to be? But service was very friendly and they were happy to accommodate a single diner.

Nestled in the charming area of Amed, Di Lipah Warung is a beloved dining spot for locals and travelers alike. This delightful eatery specializes in Asian and Indonesian cuisine, offering a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The warm ambiance and friendly service create an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the moment you step inside. Guests rave about the exceptional dishes, particularly the Pepe Ikan and seafood basket, with stuffed calamari being a standout favorite.
Could not fault this little warung. Great food, service, ambience, and price. 10/10

Food was ok, my fish was very plain and tough, did not flake, and the rice was dry. But the Calamari was great. Was very busy so had a nice vibe with a sun set view. Service was very welcoming and for the price, good value.

Really good food in a beautiful warung. Staff is friendly and prices are good. To bad, that it was not so crowded when we had diner. Hope it had to do with our early arrival, as they certainly deserve to be much busier. We woul for sure come back.
Guido M — Google review
We pass this restaurant everyday, usually more than once coming and going from Meditasi, where we stay. It looks inviting with the bamboo interior, thatched roofing and subtle lighting, with glimpses of the water. I read many positive reviews and thought that we need to drop-in for dinner tonight. On the first page of the menu, it tells us that they specialise in locally caught seafood, ✅, their recipes are passed down through generations, ✅, they make their own chicken stock and they do not include MSG, ✅, their salads are washed in filtered water, ✅, they reduce plastic waste by refilling water bottles, ✅ and they cook with love ✅. If that’s not enough, there aren’t any additional charges, a tip if you want, to be shared amongst their staff. ✅✅ I just realised that I didn’t take a photo of our meals. Too eager to try them. I had beef rendang and my husband had a traditional nasi goreng. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G The prices are reasonable, especially for the nasi goreng, it was a big meal. The staff are happy to have a chat with you, without being in your face. We are learning new Indonesian words so we asked for some help with that. Terimakasih 🙏 That’s my take on the place and invite you to do the same and pop-in for lunch or dinner.

Best nasi goreng in Amed. The dishes are big enough for sharing. Clean, very good prices, nice people and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

If you love food and learnng how to use fresh spices go and take the opportunity. A fantastic lady and a real passion for food . The kitchen was beautifully clean.. so go and try her food

Came here for supper and I left amazed. First off, the service is really great. The girls are very friendly and welcoming. I was really hungry so I had 2 meals. They have a really big menu too. I had the nasi goreng and fish & chips! Both were just absolutely delicious AND the portions are huge! I was surprised since the portions are usually small for me in Bali. Definitely coming back here when I come back to Amed. Highly recommend!

Warung Amed Sea View is a charming family-owned restaurant located on the beach. Despite its unassuming exterior, it offers a pleasant surprise with good Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot for remote work. The menu features typical Indonesian warung dishes, but stands out with its incredibly fresh and delicious fish options. Visitors highly recommend the grilled fish, particularly the Mahi-Mahi which is caught daily.
Went here 3 nights in a row and they didn't disappoint!! Not only is the staff amazing but the food is on point, crispy fries, huge portions and great prices. 🔥👌🏽 Highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a great place to eat! Bonus is you have a great ocean view.
Krystal S — Google review
In preparation for our stay in Amed I came across a tip via social media about a simple Warung in Amed, "Warung Amed Sea View". Pay attention because there is another one with almost the same name. We were going to stay in Amed for 4 nights and went there the first night because it was also close to our hotel. What happened after that first time never happens to us because we like surprises. We cheated once because we had lunch at a snorkeling beach. We went to "Warung Amed Sea View" 7 times in total... What a great woman is in the kitchen, the service is also fantastic and the owner is a nice guy. But it's all about the food, everything from a mie goreng to their mixed fish platter, insane. Shrimp as shrimp should taste, mahi mahi as tender as butter and squid with a great grilled flavor. No fuss with sauces that have to give flavor only with freshly made "sambal matah". When they asked how it tasted I said hmmm not a ten, she looked a bit disappointed, but when I said an 11 I saw a grin from ear to ear. I understand that this all sounds quite exaggerated, "it already is". But this team deserves to be visited at least once by everyone who reads this. Don't immediately go to those trendy sunset point bars, but do something weird and visit "Warung Amed Sea View". A solid 11, and those who know me a little know how critical I can be. You won't regret a visit to "Warung Amed Sea View"!
Jur W — Google review
My Nasi Campur was pretty ordinary. I was surprised the chicken was a full schnitzel. Needed some fresh ingredients or a nice Sayur Urap and Sambal or other sauce, dry in parts and oily in others. Friendly staff and great watermelon juice.
S J — Google review
Absolutely loved this place. Came here lunch and dinner every day as we were staying close by. The service was so friendly and we did not have a single bad meal. Loved the fish, the nasi goreng, the mixed juice, everything. It is worth coming down this end of town for a good meal at reasonable prices unlike some other tourist restaurants in Amed. We had a 2 year old who enjoyed playing with the little girl who kindly lent him some toys. Thanks so much, Seaview!
Kylie S — Google review
My partner and I stumbled across this place and stopped for lunch. We both got the grilled fresh fish of the day with vegetables and rice. The food was amazing! The waitress was also incredibly nice! After realizing that it was a cash only place (I had none on hand), and that my accommodation wasn’t too close, she drove me down to pick up the cash and drove me back up. I will definitely be back soon!

Great spot in Amed with a nice sea view. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, and the place had a relaxed vibe. Good place to chill, grab a bite, and enjoy the view.

I discovered this warung early in my stay in Amed, and then I began coming here for lunch and dinner on the daily! It is just a little walk from Ganesha, where I was staying, and the calamari didn’t have to walk much further from the shore to my plate! The service was bright and friendly, even when, on the first visit, I hadn’t realised that it was cash only - Ayu was very forgiving, and allowed me to run home to get physical money. Everything was superb and fresh - I’m only disappointed I’m not staying longer, so to try all the dishes!

Nice spot with beautiful sea views and friendly, quick service. The food was nicely presented — we shared the squid with peanut sauce (really good) and tried the fried fish with sweet and sour sauce and the Balinese curry. The curry was a bit bland, but overall the meal was good and well-priced. Only downside: halfway through dinner, a smell of garbage from a nearby place spoiled the atmosphere a bit for a while. However, you get a relaxing atmosphere with views in front of the sea, making the place a pleasant spot overall.

Warung Agung Amed is a charming and welcoming spot with a cozy and rustic interior, offering warm and friendly service. The owner's live music adds to the unique experience, along with unexpected visits from local fishermen. The menu features outstanding dishes like corn fritters, Catch of the Day, fish curry, and a top-notch vegetarian selection including cold-pressed juices. This hip venue also offers reasonably priced cocktails and draws on a wide range of cuisines.
If you are hungry and in the area there is no better place to go. The food is amazing with more than well sized dishes and the taste is really local if you want it to. Of course you can order anything closer to your tastes but it’s really worth trying. The people there are very nice and the place itself offers a great atmosphere.

Good food, chill atmosphere and the team is very nice. They even shared advice to cook the recipes back home! You can eat at any time of the day tasty and fresh seafood. We came twice for lunch and every food we ordered was worth it. Either if you pass by or if you are staying close to this place, save the address!

We have eaten here several times, the food is excellent and the service wonderful. Everything we have ordered here has been just great. Can really recommend!

The best part about coming back to Amed, is getting the opportunity to revisit our favourite restaurants. Warung Agung is one such restaurant. The warm welcome we received and embrace from the owners Dewa and Dewi was a feel good moment for us. More so the lovely Yoman remembers us and gave us a beautiful smile and ‘nice to see you again’. You sit steps above the road and hear the locals in the street, including the dogs, traffic passing by and chatter from fellow diners, as well as Dewa blasting out some tunes in the back corner. It’s a great dining experience. We always know we are going to enjoy a great meal at Warung Agung and Dewi is happy to change the menu you for us to suit our dietary requirements. Thanks Dewi. 🙏 You know we will be back again, this trip and subsequent.

A great and popular place to come and enjoy food, whether Indonesian, Balinese or Western. Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, live music, tasty and fresh food, what else do you want? The three nights we stayed in Amed the Warung/restaurant was full. We ended up booking ahead of time and got in on the third night. Lovely place.

The perfect restaurant for traditional Balinese food. We met Dewi, the owner and chef. She was so happy to meet and talk to us and provide her recommendations on menu choices. The seafood was so good, freshly caught Tuna, grilled Mahi Mahi and the delicious Prawns were all cooked to perfection.

The atmosphere is awesome with owner singer live music, the meals were all extremely good. The place was pretty packed so a quick meal wasn't an option. But the meals were definitely worth waiting for.

Seafood restaurant
Wayans Warung, a popular seafood restaurant in Lipah, is frequented by many who come for lunch after their diving trips. The staff at this establishment are known for their friendliness and ability to whip up delicious local dishes. They are even accommodating enough to arrange pork dishes upon request, thanks to their connections with a local friend. Additionally, patrons can ask the staff to ensure that their beer is served extra cold.
LOVED our Meal here, Seafood Basket, absolutely delicious, Pineapple Smoothy, just perfect. Friendly Service and great pricea. Thanks, deffinately reccomend.

On the way from Ubud to Amed, we stopped for late lunch. Ordered fried rice, fried noodles, gadu gadu and curry. Nice juices mixed juice and lemon juice at the end. Restaurant relatively empty but preparing food took too long time. Beside local food they offer western food, fish.

I had the banana juice and tempeh coconut curry — both were really delicious! The staff were friendly and the vibe was nice, but it took over 40 minutes to get the food even though it wasn’t busy :/ Still, I’d come back for the great taste!

We came here daily for lunch after our dive trips. The staff is very friendly and make delicious local food. They even arranged a couple of pork dishes for us upon request through a local friend. You can even ask them to keep the beer extra cold! They’ll know what you mean 😉

While it might not look as pretty as other placed, Warung Wayan definitely had some of the best Indonesian food we encountered during our trip! The food is freshly made (takes about 20min). The grilled fish if the day, urap, coconut chicken, even the spaghetti were absolutely excellent! And Wayan was so nice as to even deliver the food to our villa that was situated right above. Highly recommended!

We were the only people here for dinner, so don’t let that stop you, but the service was very friendly and the food was great. Make sure to get the Banana Split for dessert, the banana was so delicious!!

Without a doubt the best food we have eaten in Lipah. There are so many great restaurants here, but Wayan’s is the best by far. Great taste, generous serves and happy friendly staff make you feel so welcome. Last nights rib special were awesome..

Green Melon Warung is a charming eatery located in Bunutan, Abang, Karangasem Regency, Bali 80852. The menu features Asian and Indonesian cuisine with an emphasis on healthy dishes. Visitors rave about the freshly caught and barbecued mahi-mahi served with Balinese salad and rice, all wrapped in a banana leaf cone. The cozy atmosphere and personalized service make diners feel like part of the family.
Lovely place with a warm welcome and delicious traditional local food. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, perfect to enjoy an authentic meal. Highly recommended!”

It was so good me and my wife ordered twice in less than 24 hours. I recommend to get a plate of each of his seafood plates. Also, he did deliver to our rented home with amazingly presented food even when packaged!! My first time was 6 plates and my second order was 7 plates that I requested for similar plates to be packaged together….for two…..it’s that good.

Very nice little Warung on the coastal road. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of what we got was convincing: a lemon and a pineapple juice, fresh and cold, a fish salad (very tasty lemony dressing) and spring rolls with Satay sauce. For main course, we had the seafood combination and beef rendang, which was really delicious. Service is friendly and attentive, the place done with lots of nice little details. Overall, an experience definitely to be recommended!

Lovely place to stop by while your driving along the coast. The food was very nice! We've had the Mi Goreng one with chicken the other one vegetarian. House made Iced tea and for dessert, fried banana. Everything was very nice.

Great service, amazing pancakes and really cosy family run retreats that offers a lot considering the size. Had the most delicious pancakes with coconut filling which was one of the best desserts I have had in Bali. Incredibly affordable - we paid 6£ for 2x plates of pancakes, a cocktail and ice tea 🌸 Would highly recommend stopping by!

What a sweet surprise my husband and I had at Green Melon. Everyday from Meditasi to town, usually Blue earth to do yoga, we pass this Warung and everyday we tell each other that we should stop in and try their menu. This evening was that time. Normally is the restaurant quaint, with motivational signs, it has free wifi, great atmosphere, lovely owners and delicious food. As is with most Balinese meats, they are on the tougher side but the flavours are so good. Pop-in, try it for yourself and write your own review for them. Cause in a small town like Amed, as a tourist supporting local business is important.

What an incredible experience we’ve had at Green Melon, a small family business. Awesome vibes, peaceful, spectacular food cooked by the wife and impeccable service from the husband and their helper. It was only 2 minutes walking from our vila. Do your self a favour and just go. Ps: try the coconut milk shake. ;)

Like the many out there, I love the food here. We ordered takeaway from Green Melon, so impressed that we walked (30mins) there the next day for lunch. The local fares are spot on and rated these guys no. 2 in our Amed local restaurant. No. 1 is Warung Sabar in our opinion. What really disgusted me is the additional tax that these guys charged us. It may not be much for tourist, it's more of a principle, 20%, not the 10% elsewhere. Unbelievable!

Rimba Cafe is a charming spot in Amed with a bamboo bungalow look and an open kitchen. The cafe boasts beautiful gardens and decor, creating a wonderful ambiance for visitors. The menu offers a variety of options for different dietary preferences, including plant-based, carnivorous, and sweet treats.
100% recommended! This vegan went 6 times! They have a huge menu, with a lot of variety for every taste, and over 15 vegan options (as well as catering to different dietary requirements) and there are heaps of options to keep me and my friends coming back. Some of my friends are meat eaters too. The atmosphere is lovely, they have split the restaurant into 2 areas, and both are great, no air con but lots of fans. RIMBA means jungle, and they have gone all out on the vibe, so much greenery and jungle plants, with big glass windows to see the lush surrounds. At night, the garden is lit beautifully, and there is even a nice outdoor table tucked away in the garden. The food I ordered: 1) The vegan jackfruit "pulled p!rk" vegan wrap was my favourite, tasted so meaty and smokey like bbq meat, with loads of fresh salad and an easy to eat style. I actually got this twice it was so good! 2) The vegan Asian salad with tofu and tempe is a delicious, fresh and crunchy cold meal to help deal with the heat. a generous serving size. It has cold noodles at the bottom and mint, basil and cucumber. 3) Vegan rice paper rolls "Fresh summer rolls" - refreshing and had marinated tofu inside, great for hot days (all days in Amed) I have to mention, two of my friends had burgers (the beef and the vegan jackfruit patty) and they ended up feeling a bit sick afterwards, so I don't know if the burgers were oily, heavy or just too big for my friends. So I stayed away from the burger menu. Other times my friend had the tart of the day (not vegan) and she loved it. Desserts: They have a pastry display at the front, you have to walk out to the street to see it (I missed it the first 2 times, so I thought I would point it out haha). They have some vegan Snickers bars and other vegan chocolate bar delights. They have 1) They had a special vegan ice cream sandwich, which was two giant vegan cookies with ice cream in the middle, was so good on a hot day, and you have to devour it with your hands before the ice cream melts!! 2) Vegan chai ice cream - very nice, lightly flavoured, I think coconut-based. But FYI the ice cream cones are not vegan, so get it in a cup instead. Drinks: They have vegan oat milk and vegan soy milk They had some specials on the chalkboard: Alchemy Lemonade - a not-too-sweet lemonade with rosemary syrup and butterfly pea tea, I ended up having it 4 times, only 28K and really unique and refreshing. Salty dog latte - Iced coconut milk latte with salty caramel syrup, absolutely delish - also really unique and refreshing. Matcha iced latte - great, not too bitter and not pre-sweetened Iced Taro Latte - for a non-caffeine option, really nice and sweet They are always busy, so sometimes it is hard to get the waiter's attention, but the staff are all lovely and helpful. Lacks vegan breakfast options - unless you want a smoothie bowl :D They have 6 vegan smoothie bowls, but I didn't try them. Also, I didn't get to try the vegan coconut ceviche because they were out of it every time, but I am sure it would have been divine! Other vegan options I didn't try: Vegan Pumpkin waffles (rare to find them without eggs and milk), Vegan summer salad, Jackfruit teriyaki bowl

Tropical paradise cafe! Phenomenal food and baking! I tried the rainbow bowl, dairy free ice cream, and pavlova. All were delicious! I love the back area. Like a greenhouse and cafe together. Bright and full of plants and life. Very peaceful. Though it can be busy and fill up. I have been back many times in just a few days.

I LOVE this cafe and went here every day in my week long trip in Amed. The atmosphere is so lovely with plants everywhere. You feel like you are in the jungle, and yet there are no mosquitoes and it’s not too hot. There’s an indoor area with air conditioning and outdoor eating area that’s completely shaded. I worked remotely here a couple days I was in Amed. The wifi worked well in the front outdoor area but not great (or at all) in the indoor a/c room. I just hot spotted with my esim when I wanted to work inside and it was fine though. All the food is so fresh and delicious. It’s a good option if you want healthy western food. I especially loved all the smoothie bowls. I ended up having one everyday because they were so tasty and fresh.
Claire S — Google review
Great coffee and quality of food is really good. Lots of vegan options, and do checkout their bakery on the front. Vegan jackfruit wrap (gluten free option) is bomb. It took me couple visits, to try the pumpkin bowl with homemade vegan feta. OMG. The feta is soooo good. Just wish it was more ;)

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, I would eat here every meal if I could. Amazing food, great atmosphere. They made their own bread and pastry. There is a lot of choices on the menu. If you are going to amed, you must stop here.

I would honestly give you 5 stars on your Banofee pie alone, so mouthwatering delicious! I ate various salads here and I enjoyed the Pumpkin & feta but the Falafel and Asian fell a bit short on flavour. The Blue cheese with roasted vegetable was good too. Portion sizes are excellent with fresh ingredients.

We had breakfast this morning at Rimba Cafe Amed, and it was a great choice. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, lush, well-kept, and full of secluded little nooks tucked away in the greenery, perfect for a quiet or romantic catch-up. The food was very tasty, served in generous portions, and the menu had a great range of options, including all-day dining. A peaceful and well-presented spot that’s definitely worth a visit.

Very nice cafe with good food and affordable prices. The only problem is the wifi - i could not work both with their wifi and my hotspot as i didn’t have connection inside the cafe. Other than that everything was great. Very cool interior and affordable prices. I took 2 sandwiches and 2 coconuts and paid only 177k IDR.

Craving authentic Mexican cuisine bursting with flavor? Look no further than La Cocina Mexicana, where you'll find a delectable array of dishes like nachos, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Indulge in their homemade tortillas that wrap up all the goodness.
The food was really good here ! When we arrive. The place was packed, but we were lucky we could sit right away There is a parking lot around 100 meters away. So fret you not for car drivers. The cheese quesadillas were top notch! The burrito was great and the nachos as an appetizer is great ! The tacos were soft tacos 🌮

I'm American and I grew up eating real deal Mexican food. I love trying Mexican food all over the world, just to see what it's like. This is some of the best I've ever had abroad; flavor alone it's well worth trying, then the service, quality and serving size makes this place extra special. Probably from necessity, but so many components here (tortillas, chips, salsas and so on) are homemade and these guys do a great job. The tortillas for the tacos were pliable and flavorful, the mushroom taco very satisfying, the fish in the fish taco was the first time I've EVER tasted actual fresh fish after months of Bali "fresh" fish, the beans are really good, the salsa with the chips and salsa was 🔥, and hey the margaritas were high quality and awesome too. I would go back any time I'm craving Mexican flavors

Fast and good service, very tasty food and best Spanish music!!! Will definitely come back, the flavours are from real products, and they are unbelievable fast. I stay some weeks in Bali and in some restaurants are over 50 minutes waiting time to get the food delivered, here I didn’t wait over 5-10 minutes, which is good because I was starving! Prices are cheap and everything is good quality

Always a must-stop for the best Mexican food in Amed! Everything is fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. Even though I usually go for takeaway, I always make sure to stock up on their spicy salsa.. my favorite!🥵🤗🤌🏽

Loved the fish tacos and the flautas. As a Southern Californian I have lots of good Mexican near me, and this definitely satisfied my cravings! (I have been in Australia for a year and stranded from true Mexican 😭) They used classic Mexican seasonings, not as much spice as usual- I think the corn tortillas were great! I am planning to go back 🤍

This place is amazing, owned and run by a real Mexican guy. The staff and the vibes were super nice during our stay in Amed. We ate here multiple times for both lunch and dinner. This is a hidden Gem! We headed up the hill on scooters for lunch. The facility is AMAZING! The food was to die for and the view is absolutely spectacular. Pictures just do not do it justice. Staff was warm and friendly. Nice decoration and layout with beautiful view. We took the tenderloin, it was delicious (the purée was a bit small but savory). A bit more attention to the service. Food disappointed. Tuna starter was tasteless and not very pretty. Drink didn't have half of ingredients stated in the menu. Panacota was ok, good consistency but kinda soulless. Just sweet. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Amed, Warung Enak and Bungalows is a delightful destination for food lovers and travelers alike. This charming eatery offers an enticing mix of Western and traditional Balinese cuisine, with standout dishes like their famous Balinese Pancakes, Wahoo Fish, and expertly grilled BBQ seafood. The restaurant's popularity is evident as it buzzes with patrons even during the quieter offseason.
Went there for a quick coffee and a dessert. The dragon fruit cheesecake (vegan) was amazing. And cappuccino with oat milk (they were out of coconut milk) was good too. Visit 2: good turmeric juice(Raw without honey) and vegan curry with extra tempeh no rice. Delicious. The pumpkin soup was exactly what I needed when I was sick! 🤒

Their nasi campur special was really nice, though the individual portions were a little bit small. We appreciated the complimentary garlic bread and loved the friendly service. The pumpkin cheesecake (not a traditional cheesecake) was absolutely wonderful. We loved the deep, rich, spicy taste of the cake and the passion fruit drizzle was amazing.

Last night, we stumbled upon Enak in Amed, all thanks to some French folks who raved about the food being “like at home.” We had to give it a try, and let me tell you, we were blown away! We ordered lasagna and vegan tomato pasta, and both were absolutely scrumptious. The flavours were spot-on! Though we wished they’d included a couple of extra lasagne pasta pieces in the dish, but no worries. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to dessert, even though the chocolate cake looked absolutely divine. I also had a breakfast - toast and eggs - with a delicious coffee ☕️ it felt like Italian 🫶🏼

Smack bang in the middle of town, easy access, parking around the corner and a place you know where the people are genuine. Ayu greeted us beautifully offering the menu and asking what we would like to drink and then eat. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and even asked the chef for a request to change the menu for us. They cook in butter and hand make their burger patties. 😊 The decor is fresh, light and feels relaxing. Wayan, the owner has done an amazing job with her renovations. It was lovely that she gave us the time for a chat and tell us about her ethos for her restaurant and family, who most of them work there. We had such a lovely experience throughout dinner, we took friends the next day for breakfast and we were equally as happy.

We stopped in to have a look at this resort while we were on one of our walking adventures. We were pleasantly surprised how beautiful this place is. The staff are all very welcoming & the owner greeted us and we sat with him and chatted for a good 90mins. He told us the story of his awesome place and we shared our stories about Australia. We loved it so much we went back for dinner that night which was delicious. One of the best meals we've had and very well priced for the location. Most of the produce was farmed directly from this property even the water is from there very own spring. We loved this place and will definitely be going back to stay next time we're in Amed. Amed is well worth the trip a hidden Gem for us away from the crazy Bali tourists. Wendy & Aaron

Where to even begin…this villa was beautiful and the entire property was so well maintained-and the snorkeling right in front of the villa was our favorite out of all of the other sites we’ve visited! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredible. We also really enjoyed the excursions sailing to a beautiful temple! However, the best part of staying at the Villa Bukit Segara is definitely the people who work here. Every single staff member has been so kind, so generous, so thoughtful, and just incredible! Thank you to all of you for making this one of our favorite places we’ve visited! We are grateful to have met you all, and we hope to come back someday soon!

We stayed at Villa Bukit Segara for 3 nights and it was the highlight of our stay in Bali! Set right on the seaside and away from the road, you are cocooned in an oasis of tranquility. Our favorite parts were the fantastic breakfast, beautiful infinity pool, and excellent reef directly in front of the hotel for snorkeling. The first night we stayed we took advantage of the romantic dinner on the pier made with fresh ingredients from the garden on premises. Anytime we're back in the Amed area we'll make it a point to stay here again. Shout out to Barry and the wonderful staff for going out of their way to make our stay unforgettable!

The biggest plus of this villa is the clean and drinkable tap water, it is so refreshing to be able to swim in the pool, brush our teeth and shower without worrying about bali belly. The room was clean and beautiful with an amazing view. Although there were several little issues with it, like the window of our room not closing easily and the staff passing by that window made us feel exposed, nice seethrough curtains would have been a huge plus to be able to enjoy the view and still have privacy in the rooms, but overall very nice and a very beautiful view. The pool is great with clean, drinkable water. There is a nice snorkling spot next to the villa (I still recommand going else where to really enjoy the snorkling experience). You can also rent a boat with the hotel and snorkling equipments. For the restaurant, the food is very average and the breakfast okay, and so are the drinks. The good thing is the ability to have a nice private, romantic diner for the same price as any other diners which is nice.

Right on the beach, restaurant and pool overlooking the sea. Large well-kept grounds so it feels super private and relaxing. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Amazing experience.

Absolutely amazing place. We stayed in the villa for 3 nights as we did the sailing course of 3 days. We would highly recommend both of it! - Sailing: You start with the theory and right after you get to put it into practice in the sailing boot. The owner is Dutch and you can tell by the high quality materials that he takes your safety seriously. - Villa: The location is unreal. Infinity pools, beautiful restaurant with good food, looking over the sunset at dinner. But most of all, the staff is so friendly. They took care of our 2 year old daughter when we did the sailing course and she felt at home directly. Bonus tip: Try the slow-cooked duck! And request to have your dinner on the ‘romantic’ deck. You’ll have a candle light dinner all by yourself with sunset!

Sails Restaurant in Amed is truly a gem on the coast. The setting is stunning, with sweeping ocean views that make every meal feel special, especially at sunset. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between relaxed and refined, making it just as ideal for a romantic dinner as it is for a casual gathering with friends. The menu highlights fresh, well-prepared dishes that showcase both local flavors and international influences. Seafood is a clear standout—cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Portions are generous without compromising on quality, and the flavors are consistently balanced and memorable.Equally noteworthy is the service. The staff are warm, attentive, and create a welcoming environment where guests feel genuinely taken care of. Their attention to detail adds to the overall experience without ever being intrusive. With its breathtaking location, excellent food, and outstanding hospitality, Sails Restaurant is easily one of the best dining experiences in Amed. A must-visit for anyone traveling along Bali’s northeast coast.

Great location looking out to the sea, sufficient parking space, and amazing food! Staffs kept checking in to make sure we’re ok, and they are very patient when I kept asking for stuff like ice, spring onions and extra sour cream. Beef tenderloin was made to perfection, salmon was fresh. The chef came out to chat with us too. Amazing dinner experience overall. 😊😊

A beautiful restaurant perched on the hill with stunning ocean views. They even arranged a free driver from our villa, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely, and the whole experience felt a bit more special and refined than other spots in town. It felt surprisingly quiet for how lovely it is — definitely an underrated gem. We enjoyed it so much we went back for our final night in Amed — and would definitely return again.

We stopped in for dinner on our last night in Amed. Stunning ocean views and really lovely staff. My husband had chicken satay entree, fish in banana leaf main, and crepe dessert. I had the tomato bruschetta entree, black pepper beef main, and banana boat dessert (with some cocktails during the night too). It was all beautiful! Really tasty. Take the time to stop by, it's a great little place!

At the seafood restaurant Warung Pantai, a delicious meal of Tuna BBQ and Fried Rice is offered. Alongside this, refreshing drinks such as arak bali, lemon tea, and ice tea are available. The Tuna BBQ set includes rice, tuna, sambal, and a side dish. Despite an initial hint of gasoline flavor (commonly used for igniting hibachi/charcoal), once the fish is combined with the sambal, this taste disappears entirely.
Nasi Campur special (pictured) was very fresh and tasty! The Fish Tum and vegterin curry are also delicious options. Overall we liked the friendly staff, good food, good vibes, and lovely spot!

Amazing seafood! We ordered a selection of grilled seafood - so good! Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Indonesian cuisine and atmosphere. Located right on the ocean front. Simple and good-we have eaten here several times already.

Mahi mahi curry was very delicious, but everything else was so so, spaghetti carbonara had no flavor whatsoever, fried chicken breading is really hard that hurts to eat and not tasty at all. Milk shakes was not good either. Staff is nice but we waited quite a while even though we was the only people in the restaurant. Will be back only for same curry 🤣

I ordered Tuna BBQ & Fried Rice for meals. For drinks i had arak bali, lemon tea, and ice tea. For the Tuna BBQ 45k you already got the whole set. Rice, tuna, sambal, and side dish. At first I slightly tasted something like gasoline (usually used for triggering the hibachi/charcoal for bbq). But then after combining the fish and the sambal, you will not taste that anymore. All you can taste was sambal and fish. For the fish it was super fresh, still juicy, perfectly cooked. Well for the fried rice is just like usual fried rice in Indonesia but cooked with vegetables. Overall, compared to the price and its quality, it's a standard here. In the other hand, you might find another restaurant cheaper than this

During my recent travels, I stumbled upon Warung Ole while wandering back to my accommodation, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. This charming family-run restaurant offers an authentic Indonesian menu that is both delicious and budget-friendly. The meals are prepared fresh after you place your order, which means there might be a bit of a wait—definitely worth it! With its warm atmosphere reminiscent of home cooking, it's an experience not to miss when in Amed.
Good place to try local cuisine at good prices! We were again to try the traditional chicken betutu (you have to make a reservation at least one day before) and it was amazing. If you are some days in amed, you should try it!! Amazing! Hope I will have the recipe 🤤💗 Besides, they invite to the dessert in both occasions.

Just stopped by random on our walk back to stay and it was a wonderful experience. Fantastic Indonesian food menu at an affordable price. Everything is cooked fresh after the order is placed and that's why so many reviews complaining about the wait time. Come prepared to wait with a drink while your food is prepared from scratch. It's a family run restaurant and gives you a homely feel about the cuisine. Definitely a must try while at Amed. Loved the food and service. We wish we had a bit more time to chat to our favourite auntie 😉

We decided to try this place for dinner as we walked by because the sign said "real home cooking with love." The food was great, and I signed up for a cooking class the next day. The class with Iluh will definitely be the highlight of my trip to Bali. She is so friendly and loves what she does. She made sure to explain everything, let me taste as we cooked, and made sure I wrote down everything so I can make these dishes at home someday. Overall, a great experience and great food!

The seafood restaurant Warung Bobo is a great place to go if you're looking for good food at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and the place is well lit up, with good wifi access. The seafood dishes that I tried were both very good - the mie goreng was especially flavourful and requested for it to be spicier, which it was.
my FAVE place to drink/chill in Amed. Beanbags on the beach, good drinks, good food & good vibes. Live music twice a week which is top quality. Free popcorn always tasty. Best view & best staff, have come here many many times & will always recommend it!!

Located about four hours northeast of Denpasar International Airport, Mathis Lodge Amed offers a gateway to the Bali of travelers' dreams. The upscale hotel is situated in Karangasem, close to popular attractions like Amed Beach, Lempuyang Luhur Temple, and Tulamben Beach. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool with beautiful views from the terrace and garden. The stunning hilltop location provides breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, especially at sunrise.
Mathis Lodge in Amed was honestly the most creative place we stayed. Sitting up in the hills with those stunning views over the coast and forest, it felt like a peaceful hideaway on our road trip. What really stood out was the design, it’s inspired by tribal cultures from Eastern Indonesia like Sumba and Papua, and you can see that in every detail: the woodwork, the decorations, the way the whole place feels thoughtfully put together. It’s unlike anywhere else we’ve been. We loved the infinity pool, perfect for just chilling and taking in those views. The restaurant food was fresh and tasty, and eating outside with that scenery was great. The staff were so warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The drive up is a bit steep, but it was worth it.
Lana — Google review
Very unique, located at 500 m high the view on the volcanoes and the sea is breathtaking. The Papua style design of the lodges and restaurant is original and beautiful. The swimming pool is extraordinary, real wow! Mr Koman, the manager, is great having a personal touch with all his guests and in leading his team, 100% of the employees are super friendly and professional. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner with nicely cooked meals, a good restaurant as well 😉. The problem is the access road, it is in very very bad condition, not what you expect to reach a 4 stars hotel, it takes 20 mns of a very bumpy and very steep track, this can be improved, it’s simple investment decision. Walking in the resort can be challenging for some due to extreme steepness of the road.

If you want a high-quality and peaceful holiday, then this hotel is for you. Very beautiful and comfortable bungalows, where every detail has been thought out, a large swimming pool and a restaurant with delicious food. But the most important thing that sets this hotel apart is the view, which is an aesthetic delight ❤️❤️❤️ I really liked it!

The views at Mathis Lodge are absolutely breathtaking — truly one of the most beautiful dining experiences I’ve had in Bali. The atmosphere is serene and unique, blending nature with elegant, cozy design that makes you want to stay forever. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the shuttle service was such a thoughtful touch — our driver was 1000/10, so friendly and helpful! The food? Delicious! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience

Great boutique hotel. Amazing room, incredible views, pool was great and spaced out sun loungers. Staff very friendly. Food was average however and wine could do with being more chilled when serving at dinner. Road up to property not for the faint-hearted. A rocky 20 min drive up a very steep track but worth it for the views and serenity. Would stay there again.
David P — Google review
Looked at the reviews and still stayed here and we’re glad we did. Maybe we’re just more forgiving but the things I saw in the bad reviews just don’t mesh with our experience. We are a little more understanding than most but holding a hotel accountable for things well out their control makes no sense to us. What a view down the valley and into the Lombok straight. You could see it from the restaurant, the infinity pool, and I believe every room. Did a few rooms see part of a roof from the one below them, yes. Getting there is part of the adventure and they have it well organized. You park or get dropped off at a designated spot where they offer water juice and WiFi with the 1.4km ride to the lodge departing on the hour in a golf cart. From the lodge it departs on the half hour. If needed they’ll pick you up at your room and take you to the lobby/restaurant/the beach/or into Amed all you have to do is ask. The property is built into the side of a mountain so walking can be tough with almost always going uphill one way or the other. Is there another lodge being built next door, yes. Can the hotel control that no. Why penalize them in the score? Is the road rough getting there in the golf cart, yes. Is it being worked on, yes. Again not their fault. Did we hear wildlife, yes. You’re in a mountain in the jungle! It’s part of the experience. Did we hear roosters in the morning, yes. Life does go on for those that live in the area. We had good food at the restaurant eating 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. One dinner we ate in our room as there is no additional charge for room service. Try the Oh My burger! Are the prices a little higher than in town, yes, but it’s a lodge on a mountain not a corner Warung. If you feel adventurous you can take a .7 tenth of a mile hike up a road to a great spot for seeing the sunrise. We are Hyatt Globalist and were upgraded to the family room as the king with a view rooms were overbooked. A special shout out to the entire team we encountered during our stay especially Hadi who walked us through check in and the room tour. Komang, the resort manager, is doing all that he can given the obstacles in front of him. He made sure to introduce himself and checked in with us during our stay. Lastly, and certainly not least, Putin, the shuttle driver, excellent personality and driving skills! If in the area we’d stay here again without a second thought.
The G — Google review
Beautiful hotel and stunning location — but a few things to be aware of: 1. The road leading to the hotel is rough. No investment has gone into it, so be ready for a bumpy ride. 2. Plan your transfers carefully. If there’s a gap or delay, you might miss the pickup — they don’t wait. 3. If you’re planning to just relax at the hotel, know that there’s not much to do. Apart from the pool and a chess board, entertainment is pretty limited. 4. Wi-Fi is weak — fine for messages, but not great for movies or Zoom calls. 5. No snacks at the bar, which feels like a missed opportunity. 6. Food is decent overall, but the coffee was a letdown.

Bliss Cafe in Amed is a small and welcoming seafood restaurant that offers an incredible dining experience. After spending a few weeks exploring the area and trying numerous restaurants, Bliss Cafe stood out as one of the few establishments worth revisiting. The friendly atmosphere coupled with the outstanding food make it a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic local cuisine. Their perfectly cooked local fish, served alongside crunchy vegetables, was simply amazing. Additionally, their fried bananas were unparalleled in taste and quality.
Cooling place despite the hot afternoon sun. Needed a cold drink before we continue our journey. Ordered papaya and pineapple juices Rp20k each. They were so fresh and cold. Awesome little restaurant serving fantastically tasty Indonesian food. Not many tables but some big tables that will accommodate large groups. All tables are well maintained and clean with a few condiments provided and paper napkins. The food menu has a nice variety including all the Indonesian favourites like Nasi champur, goreng, gado gado, grilled seafood etc. There are a few options for vegetarians which is very welcome for me. My girlfriend has taken a few times the grilled prawns, she says these are fresh, full of flavour and come perfectly accompanied by veg/rice and a sambal that she requests super spicy. I cant get away from the vegetarian gado gado, this is fantastic! A thick peanut sauce with tofu, tempe, mixed vegetables and rice, this really is a super tasty dish for me, I really enjoyed this! All dishes come well prepared and presented plus a very generous portion size. Drinks are limited, you will find coffee, teas, fruit juices, beer but no wine and no cocktails. The three cocktails they have are made from arak, these are very strong, basic but very tasty! Everything is also at very reasonable prices so you can get a good meal if your on a budget. Overall a fantastic little restaurant with superb food at reasonable prices!

We have had an absolutely amazing stay at Amed Harmony. We this place is exceptional value for money, especially with the breakfast included each morning. The staff here are amazing, so attentive and friendly. Our villa (H1) was perfect with everything we needed - tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, huge comfy 4 poster bed with mosquito net, and a beautiful outdoor bathroom and shower with hot water. The pool areas are also lovely and relaxing, and well maintained. We took part in the cooking class one evening, which ended up being private for just us! The food we made was some of the best food we have eaten, and we got SO much food. We have rented a scooter through Amed Harmony as well which made it so easy to get around. We actually like that the location is not directly in the centre as it makes it quieter here, but still close to local shops. We would 100% recommend staying here if you come to Amed, it has been amazing and we extended our stay twice!

Pros: - very clean and comfortable room with a private bathroom - beautiful gardens and access to a pool - the property is well maintained, quiet and close to a few shops and restaurants - breakfast was included and staff were accommodating of my requests to substitute toast for rice or veggies (GF) - on site restaurant is convenient and serves good food Cons: - overall location is good although not easy to get to the beach or Amed centre unless you ride a scooter or get a taxi as it's quite far and there are no pavements/sidewalks so uncomfortable/ dangerous to walk. That really was the only drawback. Otherwise, loved my stay there and staff were very helpful and friendly 🙏

We stayed at Harmony Bungalows & Villas for 3 nights. The villas are beautifully decorated, and the lobby, gardens, and pool are stunning and very well maintained — the overall design is truly harmonious and relaxing. However, several things made our stay disappointing. The staff often seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming, and we frequently saw them lying on the floor at the hotel entrance, which felt very unprofessional. Even worse, we had cockroaches in our room, including one that crawled on my neck while I was sleeping — not what you’d expect from a place at this price point. A beautiful property with lots of potential, but professionalism and cleanliness really need improvement.

Really amazing place! 😊 The room is spacious with everything we need, with a lovely outdoor bathroom as well. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. The food are AMAZING, best food I have had in Bali so far. Location is pretty good as well. Highly recommended 😊

I was in Amed for a while and stayed in 6 different hotels at similar price points and one which was much more expensive. This hotel was by far my favorite, the room, wifi, grounds, restaurant (including breakfast), and team were all truly exceptional. I seriously considered staying for an extra week or more. The hotel is on the quieter side of Amed and as with anywhere on Bali, walkability isn't great but. However, I found it less stressful to walk from this hotel to the Blue Earth Village for twice daily yoga than from the other side of town. I also highly recommend hiking up into the hills starting from the adjacent stream. For the hotel, my only recommended improvements would be 1) add an aftermarket bum gun or bidet to the bathrooms, 2) a more substantial salad (the three on offer are great but sized as sides), and 3) train staff to ask for guest name instead of room number (management is clearly deeply interested in hospitality so perhaps they would enjoy reading The New Gold Standard by Joseph A. Michelli for an argument why names are important).

Komang John Cafe is a charming dining spot located in the Ibus Beach area of Amed. The cafe offers incredibly fresh and delicious Indonesian food, including dishes like pepes ikan and Balinese curry. Guests can also enjoy live music performances while savoring their meals. The attentive staff ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal place to dine while staying at Blue Moon Villas.
Our favourite of all restaurants in Amed. The staff are happy to chat, so helpful and we try out our basic Balinese and all giggle as we are corrected! It’s a fun and immersive dining experience. But more importantly, the menu is extensive, very well priced and cooked to perfection. If you want an authentic satay experience, Bali style, it’s amazing. Little charcoal grills keep your meat hot while you savour the bite of soft and delicious meat smothered in one of the best peanut satay sauces I’ve ever tasted. The view just adds to the atmosphere. Plenty of parking for scooters, or just a short stroll from most of the villas and air BnB’s in this area. Don’t punish your tastebuds by walking on by, go on up and give them the treat of a lifetime!

Delicious and very fresh food - we had the pepes ikan and Balinese curry - both perfectly cooked. Ketut also makes a very, very good margarita. We stayed at Blue Moon and still love the place (10 years since the last visit). It's a little dated and worn, but incredibly well taken care of, comfortable beds, very clean and the staff are amazing.

Delicious and consistently great locally sourced food and drinks. The staff are warm and genuine. We ate here breakfast and dinner for our stay because their food couldn't be beaten locally. Eat here, and you won't leave unhappy.

We ate here last night and had delicious mahi mahi. The atmosphere was enhanced by live music - a band of 4 musos playing chilled light rock ballads. Service was a bit slack. Had to get their attention when a drink order was missed. Could have been a bit more attentive. Overall a charming place to eat if staying in the Ibus Beach area of Amed.

Satay restaurant
The Warung Amsha is a great place to get delicious Indonesian food at a fraction of the price. They have low tables which makes it easy to relax with your baby while you eat. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. The dishes were amazing, especially the satay. It's an affordable restaurant and they have a lot of different types of chips - perfect for changing it up with your meal!
Their tempe satay is amazing! I’m still thinking about that peanut sauce. Also really affordable place + owners were super sweet! (You can ask for their homemade sambal with your meal, recommend trying!)
Moona H — Google review
I visited Warung Amsha Amed twice during my stay, and while the food was consistently lovely on both nights, the service experience was very mixed. On the first visit, the service was superb and made the evening really enjoyable. However, on the second night the service was surprisingly slow (even by Bali standards), and when I asked if a table could be set outside, the waitress refused, despite this having been done for other guests the night before. Strangely, during the same evening, another solo traveler was allowed to have a table set outside without issue, and a large Australian group simply kept adding tables to their outdoor setup without asking. The inconsistent treatment left me feeling disappointed, especially after such a great first experience.

We came last year and the fresh fish - Mahi- mahi-, tuna or sometimes barracuda, depending on season, is still outstanding! Deliciously grilled with a touch of grated lemon grass and garlic - so good that weq had it 4 nights in row.

The food was not so good. I eat Nasi Campur. Only the rise was warm. The people react on my complain as it was normal."We only have one in the kitchen". Ok we had a group of 9 people. But outside was a burning BBQ and during our visit it was not used.

We stopped in wanting to enjoy some drinks and snacks on the beach, but their 3-4 dogs showed too much interest in my small dog and would not leave us alone. One was somewhat aggressive and the staff did not intervene at all so we had to leave to keep my pup safe.

Nestled in the heart of Bali, Warung Indah is a delightful gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. The warm and welcoming staff create a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Their iced coffee topped with French Vanilla ice cream is a must-try, while the local Indonesian dishes like mie goreng and nasi goreng are both delicious and perfectly portioned.
The food here is spectacular! We went to have the pepes ikan and the sate lilit. It was so good we made a booking for the next day to have two bebek betutu ducks... wow we were blown away by the flavour and tenderness of the duck and the lawar served with it was so tasty. We had a chat with Made the owner he told us people tell him he should charge a lot more for the food but he refuses saying he would rather serve good food at good prices and the customers will come back because they have not been ripped off and can have an amazing local experience for a good and fair price. He recently added a stunning extension to the dining area built from bamboo giving it a nice tropical feel. They also rent snorkelling gear to view the reef and fish in front of the restaurant. Such lovely staff that look after you with a friendly, helpful manner that will make you come back again. Thanks again for everything, we look forward to going back again.
Kristian S — Google review
We came here for lunch and really enjoyed the view and peaceful vibe. The local Indonesian dishes like mie goreng and nasi goreng were tasty and well-balanced. Portions were just right – not too big, not too small – and everything was served with a smile. One fun (and very Bali) detail: there were live chickens wandering around outside – and at one point, one of them even walked into the restaurant. Definitely a reminder that the ingredients are fresh and close by! The only thing we wouldn’t recommend is the sandwich – it’s just soft toast with cold ham and cheese. Not bad, just very basic.
Alexander P — Google review
This place was such a great find! We went there almost everyday for the great food, friendly staff and awesome snorkeling. They will rent you gear at the restaurant and can also set you up with tours massages etc. The fish is also as fresh as it gets. We saw a fisherman come up on the beach and sell the fish directly to the chef, which we promptly had him cook up for us. Definitely worth a visit!
Justin G — Google review
The staff is very hospitable, King and friendly. The iced coffee with French Vanilla ice cream is sooo yummy. The food is delicious and prices are fair. We sat, had coffee, went snorkeling, then came back and ate. It was perfect. They have water at the entry off the beach to rinse off the sand. The restaurant is very clean and quaint. I love kistening to the chickens running around. There are a few. A baby chicken came inside and was looking for its mother. So cute. Welcome to Bali! 😂

Best Mahi Mahi in the area!! Everything else is great too. Wish we would have gone here more.
Jen W — Google review
We came here really hungry and ordered the soup, spring rolls, and a vegetable curry. The food itself was actually delicious — full of flavour and beautifully presented. However, the waiting time was a nightmare. After finishing my soup, we were still waiting for the veg curry for what felt like forever. No one came over to explain the delay or give an estimate. We were already about to pay for just what we had eaten and leave when the last dish finally arrived. The prices are on the higher side, and while the quality of the food is good, I personally don’t think it’s worth the long wait — especially if you’re very hungry or short on time. Also, a note on the bathroom experience: I followed a staff member assuming there were multiple stalls, only to walk in and find out there was just one cabin, and she hadn’t locked the door. That was quite awkward. Then, after washing my hands, the sink started leaking water onto my feet — not terrible, but definitely not ideal. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I’d think twice about returning, especially if service and facilities aren’t improved.

The food and everything was fine but one guy chased the beach dogs aggressively with a stick - and scared them a lot. The beach dogs need help and not someone who hit them 🥸 Better invest his salary in a sterilization of the dogs so overpopulation will stop !!!

Aquaterrace Amed is an upscale B&B in Northern Bali offering unfussy rooms with stunning sea views. The Japanese-focused Asian restaurant on-site serves fresh and delicious food, with the added bonus of amazing chocolate milkshakes. The accommodation features a beachfront location, two outdoor pools, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Guests love waking up to the sound of crashing waves and enjoying breathtaking sunrise and sunset views from their villas.
The road towards this place is a bit bad, the roads is small (fit only for 2 car) and have many holes. But, this place has a stunning view, we stay on the beach room and totally worth it. View directly to the sea from our balcony and direct access to the sea, you can swim or snorkeling behind the hotel. The staff is great and very friendly, you can order food from your room (tastes ok with reasonable price) and the breakfast is available until 1 pm. I tried the Balinese massage, it’s also good and they gave discount in the happy hours. But please don’t expect TV, they don’t provide it in the room. Overall is a great experience to escape from hustle city’s life

What a absolute gem of a place.i really don't want to leave. I could not ask for more for the service. Food was fantastic and the view was breathtaking every moment of the day. Swimming pool very clean and good size. Everything was available to hand that you would ever need. Can't recommend enough.
Ryan B — Google review
The road in is a bit crap being skinny and potholed but I reckon that just helps with the area being nice and quiet for us introverts.... unfortunately they are fixing it up, making it wider and smoother. I dont think the accommodation and staff here can be beat. The rooms are nice and light and bright, very comfortable and a great price with a fantastic view of the beach and ocean over the awesome pool. The staff are very friendly and more than happy to help with anything you want! If you like a chat then they are very approachable and if you like to be left alone then they will do that too. It's a 40ish metre walk down some stairs to the beach for a nice stroll or grab a mask, snorkel and fins to just walk in to a great snorkeling spot where everyone else has to hire a boat to go. If you're an early riser, watching all the boats come back in from their morning of fishing is a great sight with all the colourful sails. The restaurant puts out some great food! The gyoza are fantastic (and the staff will bring you these for lunch as you lounge beside the pool), the tuna is tasty and the brownie was nice and crusty on the outside and moist on the inside 🤤
James W — Google review
The hotel offers nice, spacious rooms with stunning, uninterrupted ocean views. The inclusion of Sensatia products adds a touch of luxury. However, the single mattresses pushed together felt cheap, and the restaurant’s food was underwhelming. The proximity to the road was a significant drawback, making it noisy. While the room was a highlight, we’d likely choose a different location next time.
Phil T — Google review
Pretty good place to stay. Got dinner on the first night and took about an hour to be ready, which was really unfortunate. The main road is right outside the place so it’s pretty loud with the beeping and trucks going by. There was a lizard in my room, and unfortunately, the doors to the toilet and shower are slightly transparent. Other than this, it was super good, I loved the pool.

Taman Bebek Hita is an exceptional Asian restaurant managed by a warm and hospitable family. The cuisine is remarkably fresh and delectable, offering great value for money. Their half angry duck dish is possibly the finest crispy duck around, while their in-house made tempeh fried rice surpasses expectations with its outstanding taste. We couldn't find the restaurant we were aiming to go to, then just happened to go into Taman Bebek Hita. So, our expectation wasn't high. However, the food was very tasty!! We ordered a grilled seafood skewer thing and a grilled chicken wings. They tasted like charcoal grilled (the waiter denied it, though). I felt the pricing was cheap for what they were. The atmosphere was very simple and plain. The waiting time was a bit too long despite we were the only customers at the time.

We had a good dinner here. We were seated upstairs. The ambiance is nice. The staff was super friendly. The food was good overall and it well priced. Had the chicken curry and not duck, which is what it is known for though. They did run out of seafood tonight. It was cash only.
Bryan W — Google review
Went there for dinner and the place was very festive with colorful lanterns on the open air second floor dining area. Friendly staff. I ordered the chicken curry and it was awesome. Also tried their Arak with honey and lemon - it was delicious. Be sure to stir it well because the honey settles at the bottom of the glass.
Allera B — Google review
Beautiful views for dinner during sunset. You’ll be seated upstairs if the restaurant is not too crowded. The food is an excellent example of Balinese cuisine. The crispy fried duck is a specialty. Served as a half-duck with rice and veggies and traditional Balinese chilis. We got their Chicken Noodle Soup, a play on Soto Ayam. What brought out the flavors were the Amed Salt, pepper and chili flakes served alongside our meal. The Amed salt is special to the salt-producing region. Salt crystals come from the ocean and are dried for 10 days, creating beautiful rectangular shapes. Enhances flavors so well. We also ordered their Sate Ayam (Chicken barbecued on a stick) and their Cumi Cumi baker (barbecued squid) - both came with special chili sauce, a cone of rice shaped with banana leaf, sautéed veggies (bean sprouts and diced beans with coconut shavings,) and fresh cucumber and tomato slices. Their fresh watermelon juice was delicious. We paid with cash, not sure if they took credit card.

I had a problem in another stay and was looking for something else to sleep, just before midnight. I called the owner and he said that he would be there within 10 minutes to receive me. I was so thankful, really amazing. I stayed here just 1 night but if I knew about this place before I would have stayed longer. I definitely am planning to come back here. The view, especially the sunrise in the morning is amazing to see. And the owners are so nice. I had the superior room, which was good. Really recommendable this place!

I stayed here for one week and everything was wonderful! The family that runs this place is generous and so very kind. The king sized bed in room 3 was an absolute dream to sleep in, and the rooms are set back (and up the hill) from the road, so it is very quiet and easy to get a great night's sleep. The entire accommodation was really lovely to stay in and I enjoyed quite a bit of time on my front patio on the day bed, basking in the sunshine. This room also has an amazing view for sunrise. It was very clean as well. There are several warungs to enjoy nearby as well as delicious food right at the homestay - though my favorite was a few doors over at Kopi di Tymor. My only wish is that it was closer to the beach.

Sadly, I must warn against staying here. It is the first time in all my travels that I've felt scammed. The room pictures are not what the place is like. I had to leave after 1 night because it was so bad. The room was in very considerable disrepair. All furniture was literally falling apart, completely unusable. The bed was the worst bed I've ever slept in. I sank through the mattress as if it was not there, so that I laid on the wooden board below. I don't need a great bed, but this was simply unacceptable, as if the mattress had long since disintegrated. There are many others issues too, from the wifi not working in the room, to the stale smell, large holes in the wall, and the shower being just a pipe. The whole place is in need of a very thorough makeover before it can even be considered a budget option. Currently, it's just unacceptable.

Nestled in the charming coastal town of Amed, just a stone's throw from Jemeluk Beach, Blue Earth Village is a delightful retreat that offers an eclectic mix of global cuisine with plenty of vegetarian options. The rustic open-air setting enhances the dining experience, especially during sunset when the views are simply breathtaking. Amazing bamboo structured place, the restaurant is like a tree house with a selection of floor seating and tables and chairs. The menu is extensive, with fantastic pizza's, vegan options and even a vegan hot dog! I ordered the vegan pizza with an extra vegan sausage and my friends had lovely pizzas as well (vegetarians check out the one with jam on it!!) overall really cool place, I came for the sunset dance which is every Saturday at 5.30 in the yoga studio and stayed for the food afterwards

After reading all these great reviews, we were a bit disappointed. We took a morning yoga class and it didn’t really feel suitable for all levels. I can only recommend it, if you are very fit. When we paid for the yoga class we got a 10% voucher for breakfast. As we ordered we wanted to use our two vouchers, but then were told we could only use one. Felt a bit like a scam. The location itself is nice and the food was good.

We came for the view but unfortunately the food was a miss. Served uncooked grilled chicken, which the servers did not know how to respond to. They offered us free cheesecake !!!! We had to ask not to pay for a meal we did not eat - my advice to the owners - have a plan in place if this happens. The food points - the view and the servers tried their best. Would not recommend this place - or just double check your food!!

Came here for a night to attend the sunset dance which was amazing! The room I stayed in was cute. I attended the energiser yoga with Valentina which was amazing! Also the food here was epic! So many vegan choices. The room included breakfast however was a bit limited for vegan so I opted for the paid choices which were delicious 😋 You can see sunset and sunrise here too! The staff are lovely and super helpful. *On a side note, there is a fair bit of construction work going on however finishes by 5pm so evening was fine. You can hear a little in the restaurant however not too much.

I had their food on three different occasions. My first experience was takeout pizza, and so was my third. It was consistently good, with thin crusts and a flavourful selection. I recommend trying their Bali pizza if you can take spice. I also thoroughly enjoyed my seafood curry and bacon with dates during my second, in-person visit. The view at the top floor of their restaurant is beautiful, and the decor is comfortable. Will definitely visit again when I’m back in Amed.

I didn't stay this property. Stopped over for lunch on the way to Amed Beach. Lovely cute cafe/restaurant with some amazing views of the beach from high up. Food was damn impressive and service was amazing like any other place in Bali. People are so friendly everywhere. Parking is a bit tricky as they have space for more like 3 cars at best. Of course, there is plenty if you are on a scooter.

We stayed at Blue Earth Village for four nights and enjoyed it a lot. It is soooo beautiful and has a great vibe. It is true that you hear some noises, music etc. till aprox. midnight but this did not disturb us. The staff was really nice and helpful. Also, the great long pool behind the reception where you can do some laps is really cool. The only thing that it was not good was the breakfast, to be honest. We ordered a fruit bowl and this was not very fresh at all so that we did not finish it. Ordered also some eggs and they were just put on the plate, with three slices of cooked tomato and bread & butter, very very simple and if you do not like tomato, no vegetables were available. Although breakfast was included, we only ate it once after the first experience.

I stayed here for a while while traveling with my family. The accommodations are great, featuring a swimming pool, a gym, a restaurant, a dance area, and another pool. It's very close to the beach, where you can snorkel. The restaurant offers fantastic views. One thing to note is that there are some cockroaches around, so be cautious of that. However, they didn't really bother me. Also, there were a lot of tiny little harmless millipedes in the walkways that I couldn’t avoid stepping on sometimes.

This beach has many fishing boats, but there are still places to sit and go in the water, and it's nice that you have the beach to yourself for the most part. Felt totally comfortable and safe as a solo woman traveler.

Fabulous place, we enjoyed every single moment here! Our ocean view villa was stunning, beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. The restaurant had a great variety and the food was absolutely delicious. It was our first vacation in Bali but for sure we'll return to Amed and this gorgeous resort. Moka and Manis, the cats, were a huge bonus for us! 😼😺

Small Time Cooks is a charming roadside eatery that offers a variety of burger options including beef, chicken, veggie, and vegan. Customers rave about the incredible flavors and homemade pickles served with their burgers. The sweet potato fries are also highly recommended. The restaurant takes a sustainable approach to packaging and uses recycled materials for serving. Visitors appreciate the vegan-friendly menu and commend the helpful and friendly staff.
Food in Amed has been generally disappointing. But this place has really impressed me, the burgers were juicy and the fish was fresh. They have a side of pickle which was refreshing and good to cut through all the fats. Would be back!

This is always my staple place in amed when I’m craving a burger. The fries are so good and the burgers are fresh! The veggie patty is pretty good. 10/10

Fresh french fries which we like as belgians. Soft and tasty buns, juicy chicken with delicious crust, juicy beef patties. Good big portions especially for the price. Staff is super friendly and will help you with your choice

My burger was very good smash cheese and double bacon. Also tried the pesto chicken one that was better. The sweet potatoes fries were very good too. My friend ordered fish and chips and it was a HUGE PLATE.

Sharing some love bc there was a lot of hate on the reviews. The food is good! The bacon grilled chicken was ridiculously delicious! We also had the smash burger too which was so cheesy and good but we loved the grilled chicken more. We also had the spicy cheese potatoes ( mixed with sweet potatoes and reg potatoes) which are 🥵 hot and we like spicy but dang! Fair warning. They don’t skimp out of these cheese which was nice. The service was great. The lady took our order before we could make it up to the order counter. Then 6 people appeared in the kitchen out of no where. I’m not sure why ppl think the service is slow. Also, a good amount of the items are made in house. The owner minces the meat into the patties, homemade buns, sauces, and cuts the potatoes for the fries. The quality of the food is outstanding. Give it a shot!

Great place to eat casual. We had one of our rare non-Bali style meals here and loved our burgers. I am not exclusively vegetarian but had one of the best veggo burgers I’ve ever had here and I’m pretty fussy. Totally recommend The Big Veggie (see pics). Pair with an ice-cold beer and this is a great place in central Amed Beach with a cool setting and excellent street-watching. Staff were nice and the owner is a dude, friendly guy. BTW, the owner has opened another great place up the street, called Treat Monster. Check it out!

Best burger in Amed for sure. My wife and I came here after a big night and I really needed a good burger and was not disappointed. The Smash special burger was unbelievably good. My wife had the grilled pumpkin and beet salad which she said was perfect. Milkshakes and smoothies topped off a great lunch…..10/10.

We stopped here for lunch yesterday from reading other recommendations. My wife and I have had our fair share of chips and burgers in our lives. My wife, who can be very fastidious with her review of chips, made the comment that these could have been the best chips she has eaten in her life. I ordered the triple smash special burger. 180g of patty, split into three smash patties. The burger was magnificent. The three smashed patties adding so much extra surface area for caramelisation and flavour. If we have the time, we will be heading back for lunch again today.

Customers have praised the friendly service and generous portions. Despite some minor disappointments like limited choices and longer waiting times, many visitors express their intention to return due to the overall positive experience.
Restaurant review only (we didn't stay at this place): Very cozy, cute restaurant with delicious food! There are several vegetarian options that can satisfy any craving. The staff were extremely nice and kind. We only had a starter and a main course, both 10/10. We didn’t try any desserts, but as soon as we left the restaurant we immediately regretted that decision. The portions were quite big, flavorful, and inexpensive considering the quality and quantity. The fruit juices were also very tasty and refreshing. You get also free glass of water. Highly recommended!

This review is for the warung. We did not stay here. Very slow service this lunchtime. Over 40 minutes for a Caesar Salad and granola fruit bowl. That's too slow! Very "pretty looking" food when it came but lacking in substance, for us. Shame as the setting is nice and the people friendly...until they tried to charge me an illegal additional 2% charge for using a card. Mandiri debit, no less. They can be reported to Bank Indonesia for doing this. I said as much and the illegal fee disappeared....

Amazing stay and restaurant, I stayed one week. Super close to Lipah beach with nice restaurants around. Amazing bamboo shower outside, super spacious bungalow with AC, closet and breakfast included. Lovely crew, big shoutout to Taluun (who helped me with everything, very friendly and lovely man), Kadek (who silently cleaned the gardens and bungalows daily), Ryan & Iko (who are the incredible owners and always super involved) and the amazing kitchen crew (which always made me an incredible breakfast and gave me the best smile & even the best fish burger I ever had!!!). Definately recommended during your visit of Lipah (or Amed)!!

No wonder the review ratings per customer are so high. Superb fish with friendly service. From the street you would never know, its bigger on the inside. Somewhat sombre setting with gentle music and tje sound of running water into a crystal pool with beautiful goldfish frolicking about. I really couldn't believe the value for money.

Restaurant is clean and cosy, with our friendly host checking in infrequently to ensure our needs are well taken care of. We had grilled seafood combination, seafood basket, onion rings, and roosted chicken. Their seafood is awesome and fresh, especially their grilled squid. Their homemade special paste makes the dish extremely aromatic and juicy. Fish are very fresh and grilled perfectly. With beer, juice and drink, our overall spend is around 400k idr. Will definitely return again…

The seafood restaurant Sama Sama Amed is a great spot for anyone visiting the island of Amed. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the beach is just across the street. The family that owns it is gracious and impressive in the kitchen, and they offer great seafood at very reasonable prices. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in crystal clear waters.
I was looking for an area with an easy access to snorkel in Bali. I didn't want to go on snorkeling trips. Read about Jemeluk Beach and a friend mentioned Sama Sama Amed area has the best house reel and beautiful marine life to explore, and she's right! Slept in family room which could easily host 4 to 5 people. Clean! That's important. Comes with breakfast - simple but nice. I had an amazing time there and will definitely come back!

It’s been my second time at Sama Sama Amed and as always I really enjoyed my stay. I hope next time I have a little more time :) The are is chill and quiet and the garden area is really beautiful. The rooms are spacious and have the essentials. The breakfast was included, simple but good. 👍🏼 nice view from the breakfast area.

This is our fourth stay at Soma Soma. As the name suggests, there has been little change in that time. The restaurant boasts the best view in Amed. After breakfast you grab your snorkel and walk 10 metres to waters edge. The coral garden is another 5 -10 metres off the shore. The team at Soma Soma can organise a boat trip to other snorkel sites, if you like, but they don’t match the one on the doorstep. Rooms are clean and functional. Price is very reasonable. Food is excellent. The garden provides tranquility from the bustle on the road. The two Mades and Komang are excellent hosts. Welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Perfect location not only close to the beach and a large number of diving operators and small shops, but with what is one of the best places for eating proper Balinese food. The rooms were incredibly clean, even beyond the already high cleanliness standards for rooms they have in the area. The staff are very very friendly, they managed to sort out a few tiny issues with the AC within half a day. And the dinner, just perfect. We tried a few other restaurants in the area and we always ended up dining here. No way you can beat their bubur injin or their really tasty fresh fish with a properly hot sambal. Breakfast was large enough to keep you running all day and the Bali coffee was always close to perfection. We really loved this and would definitely return.

Room was good, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient, but nothing special. We had dinner on the first night, but again nothing special. Lots of nicer restaurants around. Location was good, right on the beach. Snorkelling was great, didn’t have to go very far to see lots of fish and coral. Most of the staff were friendly and efficient.

Really lovely hotel in Amed. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the main area. The breakfast is simple, but nice. You can snorkel right off the beach. I stayed in their budget room which was basic, but clean and tidy. I would recommend staying here.

This place has a good view and the people are pleasant enough! It’s a great spot to relax with a coconut and snorkel. However, I did get almost immediate food poisoning from this place, it’s the worst I’ve had, so I think they may wash their food in tap water or their cleanliness is just lacking in kitchen - avoid eating there :(

Le Bistrot in Amed is a favorite spot for many visitors. The restaurant offers fresh and delicious ingredients, with perfectly cooked duck dishes and a great cocktail menu. The owner, a friendly Frenchman, takes the time to get to know each customer, providing an authentic taste of France. While prices may be higher compared to local eateries, the quality of the ingredients justifies the cost. Visitors praise the romantic atmosphere in the garden area and highly recommend this restaurant for special celebrations.
I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around Amed. I was pleasantly surprised to find an authentic french restaurant in a tiny fishing village in Bali. Jean the owner was very friendly. I ordered the duck dish with mushroom sauce. Yummy! I like Balinese food, but after 3 weeks of eating local dishes, it was so nice to eat some delicious western food. The space was also very welcoming. The staff were kind. I'd be delighted to return if visiting Amed again.

What a wonderful find! The oysters and clams were absolutely delicious, so fresh and full of flavour, every bite felt like a little trip by the ocean. 😍 The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and Jean, the owner, makes you feel like you’re at home with friends. His warm hospitality and passion for good food really shine through. 🍷 It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed evening, savour some amazing seafood, and soak in that French touch right here in Bali. Highly recommended, you won’t leave disappointed! 💛
Safae B — Google review
Really wanted to love this place. Pros: pretty good wine! Head and shoulders better than most places in bali. Also, a refreshing set of options in a sea of warungs. And nice ambiance. Unfortunately, robustly missed the mark on details. Crème brûlée was vastly overcooked, with a broken custard, burned sugar, and rubbery texture throughout. Mains like lasagna had good flavor, but were under seasoned. “Warm goat cheese salad” had some tangy cheese melted on toast, but salad itself was tomato onion lettuce, no cheese. Reminiscent of Paris in a nice way, but falls a bit short in execution, in my opinion.
Jesse O — Google review
The restaurant is quite nice overall. After reading so many glowing reviews, I think I was expecting something a bit more special in terms of flavors — but I still had a good experience. The duck with orange sauce was genuinely pleasant, and I really enjoyed the dessert with ice cream. Everything was well-prepared, satisfying, and filling. While I can’t say the food completely blew me away, it was definitely a tasty and well-cooked meal. The staff were lovely — very friendly and full of smiles, which added to the warm atmosphere. Thank you for a pleasant evening!

I visited this French restaurant in Amed and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with the food. The service was excellent — the waitress was attentive, friendly, and made me feel very welcome, which I truly appreciated. However, the kitchen fell short. The steak tartare was served with an egg yolk placed directly in the shell on top of the raw meat. This is considered poor practice in food safety, as eggshells can carry bacteria (salmonella) and should never come into direct contact with ready-to-eat food. On top of that, the cannelloni I ordered lacked any depth of flavor — the dish was extremely flat and uninspiring, especially for a place presenting itself as French cuisine. Overall, while the service deserves praise, the food was underwhelming and the handling of ingredients raised concerns. Sadly, I left disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting authentic, flavorful French cooking. There is better restaurants in Amed and less expensive than this place.

Not only one of my favorite places to work. The coffee and food is not mind blowing and just okay. Pricing is for that rather a hint expensive. If you want to enjoy the view you can sit at the top. If that is too hot for you, you can sit at the ground floor. Very friendly staff. And free water (if you ask for it). I would wish the food & coffee would be more tasty. Also, a some renovation and fans would be great. Plus, I think their coffee machine is not set up well or the coffee they use is low in quality. Wifi fast Power socket outlets 5-7 Quite and a lot of space

We got a take out and it was super good! We needed a change of flavor, so we also ordered their mac and cheese did not disappoint us at all! Simple , easy 👌 and was good . I arrived a bit late (by Indonesian lunch standards) and no one was at the front desk. After a couple of minutes, a little kid spotted me and went to wake up the lady in charge. I felt a bit guilty—she clearly had been napping—but she smiled and insisted it was fine for me to sit. Besides that funny little moment, nothing much to highlight. Homemade comfort food at reasonable prices. I’d definitely come back—next time with better timing 😅

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff, very testy food, amazing views from my room to the hills and the ocean. Nice room, The bed was big comfy toilet very clean with shower and bathtub!. Great quality sleep. A place in Amed than you should visit

Absolutely worth a visit , no negatives at all. Food drinks good and very good prices. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms big and a bath as well as shower. No negatives at all.

Beautiful views, wonderful staff and great location. Right next to the Japanese Ship reck dive and snorkeling site. Food was delicious, so no need to make the trip into Amed . The room was luxurious. Have paid 3 x the price for similar.

We stayed for 3 nights here and had a great time. Good value for money. Room is spacious, building is old but well maintained. Staff are well trained and professional. Great view of the mountain and the sea, especially in the morning as the fishing boats return. It is located a little bit further from Amed’s center, but it is right across from Japanese ship wreck snorkeling site. We had dinner here everyday too and food was good, better than restaurants that we went to in the area. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Baliku, would definitely recommend. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything such as scooter, food, diving arrangements, taxi, board games, etc etc!! The food was delicious and especially considering how well priced the menu was. Nice view out of the restaurant, but we even had one meal served to our room which was even better. Although it’s slightly further from Ames than some resorts it did not feel far given how easy the staff made transfers and taxis etc. Pickup for diving was easily arranged. Plus the price is very reasonable for the big room / infinity pool / good restaurant. Can scuba one minute walk away at beach where the Japanese ship wreck is - great place to see loads of fish and coral plus the wreck itself is really impressive! Snorkel equipment all available at beach / hotel. Lots of board games in restaurant. Spacious room, good AC. Large bath. Nice balcony with extra beds for relaxing outside the room. Great staff.

Just ended my stay with Baliku. Beautiful room with large balcony overlooking the ocean. Great service from all the staff, who were all very helpful and kind in accommodating to my requests. The restaurant is not crowded but the food tastes amazing and prepared with love. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Amed. It is about 20min drive to where most dive centres are located but transport can be arranged. The villa is located right at the beach where the Japanese shipwreck is.

We stayed 5 days with family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and really enjoyed our stay at Baliku. Rooms are huge, clean and very comfy and with amazing view on the bay, and a à la carte breakfast included (so much better than the traditional continental buffet). For lunch or diner, all meals we tried at the restaurant were delicious. Snorkeling site is just across the road and staff can plan any boot or diving trip upon request. We just loved the place and the people. Only disadvantage could be the quietness if you search for more busy places.

This is absolutely fabulous place!!!! Great view, everything is very clean. The staff is so helpful. The breakfast also was very good. We also took a dive tour from them. The diving was so great. My personal favourites: candles in the room and bathroom, huge terrace and 5 stars view. We will come back for sure. Thank you for the great stay!

Safka Restaurant Amed is a delightful dining spot that truly captures the essence of Bali. With its stunning ocean views and inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration. The menu boasts an impressive selection, with standout dishes like Isabella's chocolate pancakes for breakfast and fresh tuna sashimi for lunch or dinner. Guests have enjoyed memorable experiences here, from witnessing traditional Balinese dance performances to celebrating special occasions in style.
The food is very good with a great selection. The waiting time is perfect just enough time to finish your conversation but not long enough to actually wait. Furthermore the place itself is very beautiful with a great view of the ocean. During my stay at the hotel I ate there a couple of times we saw a traditional Balinese dance and I celebrated my birthday there which was amazing. If had to recommend a breakfast dish it would be Isabella’s chocolate pancakes which are amazing.

I didn't expect much, but some dishes were really great. Meatballs perfect, catch of the day very good. Carrot cake though was so-so, masala chai a bit blank, strawberry float was good one day and the next day very different... The place is chill and peaceful

It is the restaurant inside the Griya. The breakfast deal 2x drinks 2x dish for (incl. tax) 182k is not a deal. The portions of the food are tiny, like really. They are better than average, but are not worth the price at all. Plus: I dislike greatly that the prices are without tax.

We started with happy hour on the rooftop, enjoying stunning views of Mount Agung and the sea. Then we had a second round of cocktails by the pool for sunset! We had booked for a birthday and were truly pampered attentive service, delicious dishes, and even a cake had been prepared for the occasion! To top it all off, there were Balinese dancers. Wonderful family memories.

Cozy place with good breakfast menu. Costs 150.000IDR per person, includes 2 courses: e.g. Benedict eggs and French toasts, tea/coffee, juice and water. Amazing view is also included ;)

This is an upscale very nice outdoor restaurant in Amed. More expensive than most other places in the area, but very clean and nice. We had to try the tuna sashimi and it was so good. The pizza wasn’t the best but we were super curious of how it would be.

Wawa-Wewe Beach is a delightful spot nestled right by the shore, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment. During the day, it provides a serene atmosphere ideal for unwinding with your feet in the sand. As evening falls, the venue transforms into a lively hub featuring fantastic live music that draws both locals and visitors alike. The friendly staff enhance your experience with quick service and warm hospitality.
Amazing venue, staff are super sweet and music is a hit. Must go on a Wednesday night for the live band, they are incredible!!! I am in Amed for a month and will be here every Wednesday for the music ☺️ also recommend the chicken curry.

We came here in the evening (after having dinner in another restaurant) for a cocktail because of the good live music. The service was friendly and quick, the cocktails delicious - but not very cheap. We can not rate the food, as we have not eaten here.
André — Google review
The place is nice, right at the beach. It has good food and drinks, and quiet when there is no party. Since Amed is such a quiet place in general, I think it’s great to have a place where you can party time to time. We were invited to the party when going there to eat and we are glad we joined. It was fun and people were having a blast. Since it’s open air, music can be heard from everywhere, even from your next door neighbours, so the bad reviews are not really justified. If you are bothered by this, just book another accommodation, away from any restaurants or warungs.
Adelina S — Google review
Super loud music in the middle of the week. You can hear it several buildings down, inside the guest rooms -- even with earplugs and noise cancelling headphones. Very disrespectful of neighbors who want to rest in the evening... Way too loud!

Had a nice Bintang 35k here. Quiet during the day. Live music Saturday night is a good atmosphere.

We loved this hotel. It was clean and spacious and we loved our view of the ocean from the room and pool. Breakfast was excellent! We had dinner there ladt night and I had a delicious rare tuna nicoise and yummy shrimp spring rolls too. There is road construction up top but you can’t hear it as you walk down the steps to the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the staff works hard.

Very scenic place. Amed as such is generally a rather calm area with comparably little tourism. Hot and dry compared to inland. Aside of the beautiful scenery above water it is a good place to go snorkeling or learn scuba diving. Puri Wirata features a good restaurant, romantic / gorgeous sea view and many options above and below water. There were several families as well as romantic couples. Have not tried the spa, but assume it is good given the generally high standard of the location.

Convenient spot for snorkeling, whether straight in from the resort or short trip by boat with a local fisherman to underwater temple/pyramids. Resort facilities were very nice. Staff super friendly and helpful. Kitchen put out a good range of consistently great food. Room was great, only downsides were lack of aircon in main room of villa (but present in bedroom, so not a huge deal) and some drainage issues with the shower. Otherwise a fantastic spot to relax for a few days!
Aaron T — Google review
Good hotel with excellent views and access to the sea. The service could be better. In the restaurant the waitress could be nicer. Also they absolutely wanted to carry our bags going down when we arrived but after checkout they did not even propose. And it’s quite steep.

Amazing view, beautiful dive resort, good restaurant and amazing staff. I also recommend the dive center, and the dive site in front of the resort. Good also for snorkeling
Juju C — Google review
Had a really great stay here. There are 2 pools with plenty sun loungers. Breakfast is limited but good, bar snacks and drinks are reasonably priced also. Staff are pleasant. The rooms are beautiful! My only criticism is the fact that we were at the top end near the road and staffroom, which meant the staff woke me up around 6/6.30 am shouting to each other and talking loudly. More consideration should be taken that early in the morning when people are sleeping.

Nestled in the charming area of Amed, Amed Resto is a culinary gem that offers a delightful blend of Asian, Indonesian, and Western cuisine. This popular dining spot is frequented by locals and visitors alike, thanks to its proximity to stunning diving and snorkeling sites. One of the standout experiences here is the opportunity to order fresh lobster directly from a nearby farm; guests can even join divers in catching their own dinner!
Great local restaurant with fresh seafood. We reserved two freshly caught live lobsters ahead of time. Delicious!

We had the best (and biggest) rock lobster of our lives! Kadek brought us to choose the lobster and she cooked it perfectly. The sauce was stunning too. A must visit in Amed.

Never coming back to this restaurant!! The waiter was extremely rude. I also work in the hospitality industry, and I found your staff’s body language to be very unprofessional when taking my order. Instead of asking properly, she just nodded her head with an annoyed expression, as if she was upset that I came close to closing time. If you don’t want to accept guests anymore, you could simply say that your restaurant is no longer taking orders or walk-ins. THAT’S IT!! On top of that, my avocado juice had no taste at all—not even. At the very least, the service you provide to guests should be better. I’m very disappointed. Please train again your young staff to be more polite towards locals. Don’t discriminate!!! Thanks to Mrs. Kadek that still be patient waiting us to finished our food🙏

I wish I was kidding but my whole experience with them was a joke. I ordered a ginger tea with a mie goreng and when the mie goreng came out, the prawn cracker was crawling with ants. Not just a few ants… it was actually crawling with it. The waiter didn’t even check the plate before bringing it. I was too stunned to even take a picture. I called him back immediately and showed him my plate. He didn’t really apologise, just said “oh” and brought my plate back to the kitchen (I was the only one in the restaurant). He came back 2 seconds later, he had just swapped the prawn cracker for another one…. That also had ants on it !! I called him back again, at this point I was so shocked I thought it was a joke from the restaurant. He brought my plate to the kitchen again, and this time, he had just removed the prawn cracker… by this point the ants had crawled under the plate, and were also in the rest of the dish. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. I told the other waitress I wasn’t going to eat here in the end, and she actually seemed surprised, like she couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t want to eat here anymore. I paid for my drink and left. I always try to support small, local restaurant but this was by far my worst experience and way too much, even for me. In the end the waiter and waitress didn’t really apologise or seemed bothered, they just kind of brushed it off like it was no big deal at all. Please save yourself the trouble, there is apparently 0 hygiene standards at all (not even checking the plate before sending it). Will never come back

I came here pretty late for dinner and they still feed me. Nice food and staff. I ordered soup and also grilled squid, I found squid little bit raw so they cooked a little bit extra for me :)
Itsaso L — Google review
Amazing experience !! You can order lobster before noon, and they will ask the lobster farm (that's 50m away) to go get them for the evening. You can even go yourself with the divers to see them catching your lobster. Can't be any fresher !! The evening, they will grill your lobster on the BBQ and make some indonesian sauce to go with them !! The owner is so sweet !! We really recommend this place ! Incredible lobster cooking !

Waeni's Sunset View Hotel is highly regarded as an exceptional establishment, although its distant location in Amed Karangasem may pose a challenge for some. However, the breathtaking vista of the sea, mountains, and ships, alongside its remarkable sunset setting, makes it a destination worth visiting. The amiable staff adds to the experience and the affordability of food and beverages enhances overall satisfaction.
Staying at Waenis feels like home . I am so grateful that I chose this hotel and I really am very happy with my every day & night so far. My ocean & mountain view room was big, nice and clean. Amazing scenery from the room and also from the balcony. Made is an amazing woman who will make any wish come true. For example arranging a special (not on the menu) Balinese dish for me and also learning me how to cook it too. Simply because she knew it was my favorite. Also arranging a good driver & guide named Wayan for me. He is the best caring and kind man who can tell and explain everything while having a tour with him. He is also a great masseuse by the way. I will surely miss those long interesting conversations about any topic with him. Also the ones with Made. It's just that you will get the ' extra extra ' here. Highly recommend this beatiful gem here in Amed. The hotel is located on a cliff but there are stairs taking you down, straight to the black sand (pebble) beach. And its actually a great snorkling spot too. There is an infinity swimming pool with a nice view. The food from the restaurant is fresh and very tasteful. You can sit in a 3 layered area, all with A VIEW. Next time I will plan for sure to stay longer, these 5 days were too short but most amazing. Thank you guys for a great time, you are not only my new friends but also like my family now. Matur suskma

When we arrived at the place, it was 12 pm which is noon time, the room smells humid also many mosquitos. Directly we asked the staff for mosquito spray for the room because of the number of mosquito bitting us. Before we left for lunch, we spray the whole room and bathroom and when we come back, we found there are 6 cockroaches laying upside down around our room. Before we left for dinner, we repeate it again spraying the room with mosquito spray, and when come back, we found more cockroaches and spiders on the floor. Definitely the cleanliness is not the best in the room. Because we only stay for 1 night, and we only use the room for sleep and shower, also we want to be next to our friends room, we just accept the room. The breakfast is very basic and they charge IDR 150k for our 4 years old daughter, it's better to have breakfast in restaurant outside which cost only IDR 50k with better food. When we swim at the pool, we found many of the pool tiles already loose. We will never come back to stay in here again. The only good thing of this place is the view. The owner needs to train the staff to maintain the cleanliness in the rooms, maintain the property and upgrade their breakfast menu.

This place ruined my honeymoon Overpriced, overrated. Food is horrible. There was a construction happening when I booked the hotel for my honeymoon.the owner didn't tell us. We need to shorten the stay cos the place is dirty, old sheets. Paid over 1 million per night but the facilities are horrible. The owner promised to return the money cos we were not happy but..they never do it.. Don't waste your money to stay to.this place.

its a great place to say with a beautiful sunset view. from the front the place looks small, but their hotel is downhill and full with stairs. The room feels a bit outdated but its clean and the bed is comfortable. We book the family room and the room has a huge window with a beach view. The views are magnificent during breakfast and during sunset is much more spectacular. I would definitely recommend to stay here.. but just be careful with your step because they have sooo many steps..

Really enjoyed my stay here. View is impeccable, food was delicious, pool was lovely. Staff is great!! Our room was great minus the bathroom needed a bit of a remodel. The shower head was so high up and leaked a lot (when turned on) so pressure out of the spout was not too good. Other than the simple fixes in the bathroom we highly recommend this place in Amed.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Apik Warung.
