My mother tried their chaats a few weeks ago and loved them. So this time she forced me to go there but it was quite disappointing. But the guy who was preparing them was sweet enough to customise it a bit for us. Extra star for the hospitality, else I'd give it a 3.

Tday i have purchased mushroom tadka. I was shocked that only 1 small piece of mushroom was there and remaining are onion masala only.. very disappointed. For roll it cost 50rs and we eat only onion for that

Very very disappointed. We had purchased sweets and mixers, we wanted them to give it all in different bags as we had to distribute it. But they mentioned, like I quote 'All fits in one so no extra bags'. Might be a very old and famous place to get sweets, but I suggest to go to another sweet shop where the service would be good as it was very disappointing to hear such a comment from them. Extremely disappointed as we have been going to this place since so many years!!

We have visited this bakery when we were on the way to Udupi Sri Krishna temple.... situated close to the main road..... adequate parking facility is available.....all kinds of bakery items are available.... maintained very neatly and cleanly..... staff are also very cooperative.....very tastly prepared items are available.....some special items prepared in coconut oil is also available..... payment is accepted both in cash and transfer...... moderate rates are changed....a very good place to visit with family and friends

Bad experience with coconut holige....got spoilt next day from the day bought...staff gave the reason of bad handling during long trip which should not be the case...holige lasts for atleast 3-4 days from the day it is made..looks like old stuff was packaged, dated and sold as freshly made. Have asked for refund but no response so far.

Their plum cakes, bread, rusks are good. Located in the Center of the city makes it a good option for customers to visit this bakery to purchase wide varieties of items. The parking space is less and lot of times customers find hard to find empty space. Few of the items are costlier compared to other bakeries.

They're well stocked on bakery items like plum cakes, indian sweets, bread, biscuits, breadsticks, khari biscuits and related items like banana, jackfruit chips, chaklis, nevris and snacks like chicken, veg and egg puffs and samosas. We were happy to get chicken sausages from here and they also occasionally stock on pork sausages of both the cocktail as well as the goan varieties. This bakery has got the interiors, layout and stocking of food items better than most in the city. Allows customers to pick and buy like a supermarket instead of asking the owners to show each item like a jewellry shop. Prices are as per item with some being pricier than other bakeries. But quality is fairly good since their stock moves pretty quickly. Service is a hit or miss usually since most of it is self service except for the snack and sweets counter. Counter cashier is usualy quick unless it's a heartbreak day. Take your own bags while going here. You can expect a rush inside and outside the bakery at peak times.

I would recommend this place if you are looking for international cuisines like cheese cakes, eclairs, etc.They also have an option to grab some burgers , salads , home-made ice cream creams etc.I was much impressed by our sour dough , but unfortunately I was not able to taste it as it was already sold out.They usually make on order basis, a loaf would cost you around INR 140.They usually make on Tuesday and Saturday only. We ordered eclairs(INR 75 appx ) , and it was tasty , mildly crispy.The filing was appropriate and well-balanced sweetness.Thepresentation was also good. Atmosphere good. Staff friendly Service good. I would definitely visit this place to try their cheese cakes and also sour dough bread.

Ordered a custom birthday cake, sheet cake and cookies at Aura. The birthday cake exceeded our expectations both in looks and taste. Cookies were yummy too. The theme of the birthday cake was Legos and Dinosaurs. The team at Aura did a great job in bringing our idea and design to life with utmost care and precision. We really appreciate their skill and attention to detail. Right from the time we reached out to them about the cake, till the time the cake was delivered everything was handled very professionally.

The best place in city and probably in India to have coffee and snacks. I had white sauce pasta (Alfredo) from the tropical cafe as well but Aura took the cake! Ambience, pricing, quantity, service... Everything is top notch. Must visit!!!!!

DISGUSTING. It was Christening ceremony of my son at Ocean Pearl Udupi. I paid advance + twice reminders 2 days before the function. The reply I got from Just Bake (agency owner at Udupi) " I dont need reminders. I know my job very well". On the function day, Sorry Sir, I forgot to bake the cake. As a replacement they sent a cake. The font was very ugly. On the very event, the theme was BLUE & all was arranged in blue color except the cake. The Agency owner (lady) is busy in whatsapp when I was placing the order - NOT AT ALL SERIOUS WITH THE JOB.

Called at Christmas Eve for a cake delivery I made the call from Kerala to arrange a cake delivery for my friend. It's a very convenient bakery as it has all the essential in packaged foods like your usual. For example the chaklis, banana chips, potato wafers, rice crisps and almost all South Indian fried and baked items. They do have puffs and pastries too. Also serve some self made sweets. I would say they are among the best few bakeries in town.

It's one of the best Bakery in Udupi, I am seeing it right from my childhood in 1980's. My grandfather used to get bread and rusk from this bakery. The quality of all items are so good, pure, and are customer oriented. They have maintained their quality for so many decades. I personally would rate Sudarshan Bakery as no.1 bakery in Udupi. It's the best.

Tasty & home made sweets & food products. They have serving Wonderful best quality foods over 2 decades. Friendly service persons providing timely service. Their home prepared butter toast is a popular item, wherein you need to preoder as it empties very quickly. Their bread both normal & sandwich both are crowd favourtes which sells in huge numbers. Even their other home prepared Roti ( normal & paper thin) are huge crowd favourtes especially among bunt community as Kori( Chicken) - Roti is a bunt delicacy.

We wanted to gift sweets to some very notable people so we bought from here because of it's reputation in Bangalore. But luckily we didn't when we realized that they gave us stale sweets in the 1 kg mix we ordered. This place doesn't get many customers just like some of their outlets in Bangalore and just like those outlets they peddle off stale sweets to unsuspecting customers. And it's not just the sweets. The cake they gave us was so old and hard that we got upset stomachs. Also the cake box had it's seal opened so definitely they knew it was stale and still didn't care. No customer has to pay for such low standards. It's definitely not worth the high price as Udupi has many other fresh quality sweets shops. The management should note that sweets are eaten by children mostly and this we are too big to care attitude will not work in Udupi.

I have always liked their Badam Milk and used to go number of times. Recently when I visited them, the badam milk had gone sour and there was curd like thing all over. I told the person it’s stale and I can’t have it. So the person told nothing will happen. Later after I complained to the manager he agreed on the thing being spoilt. After this incident u have never visited this place. Be careful. Only buy sweets after tasting.

Bangalore's famous kanthi sweets is now in Udupi. Spacious store, has good variety of sweets and savouries. Hygiene and quality is well maintained.

Had got samosa and sweets. Sweets are good. Samosa was pathetically bad. Seems like it was prepared a week back. Outside it looks like fresh as it was under closed lid. But inside stuff it was very very bad. Appreciate the team for not tacking care of such simple things. 3 of us are food poisoned. Better keep the things upto date.

I have had Rasmalai and Samosa. Taste is equivalent to their Bangalore branches. Other sweets are all available similar to Bangalore. They serve clean and hygiene.

I recently had an unpleasant encounter with a shopkeeper when I requested to purchase a 20-liter Bisleri bottle that I intended to refill. Despite my polite request, the shopkeeper refused to sell it to me. This left me puzzled and questioning the purpose of having a shop if they are unwilling to accommodate such requests. It's disheartening to encounter a lack of understanding and empathy from a shopkeeper. As a customer, I believe it is not unreasonable to expect a level of humanity and customer service. After all, I was prepared to pay for the product I requested; I simply wanted to refill it instead of purchasing a new one. It is important to note that I never asked for anything for free; I only wished to reuse the container. The refusal to provide the desired product without any valid reason or explanation was both disappointing and frustrating. It left me questioning the principles of the shop and the value it places on customer satisfaction. In conclusion, my experience with this particular shopkeeper was disappointing due to their unwillingness to accommodate a simple request. As customers, we hope for more understanding and empathy from those who run businesses. It is my sincere hope that the shopkeeper reflects on their actions and adopts a more customer-centric approach in the future.
