Café Vienne is a charming bistro located in the old section of Perpignan, France. The all-day dining establishment offers a variety of bistro meals, snacks, and desserts in an old-world dining room with a covered terrace. The Art Deco design of the café creates an elegant ambiance reminiscent of Gatsby's mansion. Owner Camille Otero, with years of experience in the restaurant industry, personally interacts with patrons.
Some great dishes. Had the grilled Cod on Mashed Potato and Catalan Creme, delicious. Son had the Kids Menu of Grilled Salmon.

We ate here twice, and we were only in Perpignan for two days. Excellent pizza and other Italian food. Generous servings and wonderful service. Highly recommend!
Peggy H — Google review
Great place with excellent food, at height of season they get busy… service can be a little slower than expected, still very friendly and helpful staff! Definitely recommend if you want a nice dinner in this lovely city!
Double A — Google review
Went for lunch by chance as we walked past. Previous reviews I feel mislead. So good we made dinner reservations.
Conor M — Google review
Simply awesome. Great food and excellent service. I had sardines and the kids had burger that comes with ice cream all for €8. Situated in a great spot can’t recommend enough.
Michael N — Google review
This was really bag service. On an extremely hot day, we simply wanted a table closer to the air conditioner, but the waitress refused, insisting we sit near the kitchen because it was more convenient for her. The second waiter behaved rudely as well. If the restaurant has areas where guests are not allowed, they should be clearly closed off, not left open while staff say it’s “inconvenient” to walk a few meters further.
Divno D — Google review
The food is very overpriced and the service is bad. The pasta was very simple and the tartar had too much mustard.
Tim — Google review
Truly the best meal we had in Perpignon France. The scallops and prawns were special as well as the mussels.

Nestled in the heart of Perpignan, L'Arago is a delightful brasserie that captures the essence of Catalan cuisine. With its inviting atmosphere and generous portions, this eatery offers an array of delectable dishes that showcase local flavors. Diners can indulge in specialties like garlic chicken with creamy mash or savor a beautifully braised lamb leg paired with rich mashed potatoes made from local butter.
We had a super evening, the food was exceptional. My husband ate from the set menu, the garlic mussels and sea bass were delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. We would definitely come back. Complements to the chef and establishment

Absolutely loved our meal at L’Arago! 🥗 The salad was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the portions are incredibly generous — you definitely get great value for your money. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and size of the servings. Everything we tried was delicious, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Perpignan!

We went there for dinner for the second time in a week because we were so impressed. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was of a very high quality and tasted wonderful. I can only recommend it.

We booked online as it was Sunday when fewer restaurants are open. We both opted for the moules gratin followed by the black risotto which came garnished with whole crevettes, accompanied by a local white wine - all very good and well presented.

Wonderful restaurant in Perpignan, where you can have a taste of the amazing dishes of this area of the France, with its strong Catalan heritage. We had pan tomate and jamon, mejillones (muscles) au gratin and a superb braised lamb leg with a delicious mashed potatoes with local butter! Local wine amazing as well. Service was super, very carefully and nice. You must try this place if visiting Perpignan

(Translated by Google) Total disappointment. My 90-year-old grandmother, a regular at the store, recently came to buy her lemon tarts. On the way she lost 50 centimes and told the baker when she arrived who asked her to return home on foot to get the 0.50 centimes... It would perhaps have been easier to offer her credit until the next visit to avoid a return trip… My grandmother will not come back. It’s a shame… This is how we are kind to local customers.

(Translated by Google) A chance to have a real bakery in the neighborhood, with good food and good pastries. Plus it’s a family bakery, they are very nice. I've been going for my rye or wholemeal bread for the week for several years and I'm delighted.
Idris J — Google review
(Translated by Google) Being new to the neighborhood, I have tried this bakery many times. My latest experience prompts me to write my review. The quality of the products is not bad but not transcendent either. It's average in terms of bakery (enough variety despite everything), quite good for pastry and totally terrible for snacking (the pizzas are inedible, the sandwiches garnished extremely sparingly, the freshness of preparation is doubtful...). But what is most annoying about this brand is the pair of saleswomen who are as welcoming and friendly as prison doors. Neither hello, nor thank you, nor goodbye + order and change placed in “get the hell out of me” mode without even looking at you. Twice I had to insist on my hello in order to get a far-fetched hello. The saleswoman will definitely recognize me as she is not used to being reminded of the basic rules of commerce. This is totally unacceptable in terms of service but especially in terms of education. It's painful, even annoying. A customer is not a burden. Finished for me with this sign and I will pass the message on to everyone around me. There are much better and nicer places in the city. Even if it means wasting a few minutes, we gain greatly in quality and humanity.

Casa Sansa is a popular spot among locals, located in a vaulted bakery adorned with model boats and mementos. The restaurant offers classic dishes such as magret de canard in Banyuls sauce, a sweet wine specialty. Meanwhile, Garianne is closer to the grand new station and offers an amazing Catalonian dining experience. Visitors have praised the delicious Catalan cuisine, with recommendations for dishes like pane con Tomate and Boles de Picolat.
If you are in Perpignan and searching for a good place to eat typical local food, you must come here. Congratulations to the people who work in its kitchen. Their process and product are excellent.

Great restaurant, usually very bust at night. A reservation a highly recommended. Arriving for dinner in a Saturday night without reservation, so the only free tables were inside. We had the lamb shoulder, the hamburger and the Catalan chicken. Everything was delicious and the portions were good in size. Only thing, the chicken was a bit oily. The service was excellent, however the staff was not welcoming at first. They hesitated to let us in. Three staff members were asked and no one knew if they were able to serve us.
Hany A — Google review
What a lovely place. Very quaint. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We were two couples and we paid 95€ per couple. We had one bottle of white wine (great selection) 4 appetizers (mussels for me yum) and 4 main courses. One friend had the calamari for their appetizer. We all tasted it and it was delicious. I ordered the same for my main and mine was not good. I had chunks of charcoal in mine that hurt my teeth. I was sitting next to a drain in the sidewalk and the servers kept splashing me with water they disposed from other tables as the guests left. It was gross. The overall experience was OK but we will not return

So Disappointed !!! The food was just ok. Its totally missed the mark. I researched before leaving for France for a loverly local restaurant and was excited to book when we arrived. First of all we wasn’t allowed to dine inside the restaurant and was told that we had to sit outside. Secondly the presentation and meal was just ok and was to be honest mediocre. I am really sorry that I am making negative comments but I am truly sad it was just ok.

Le Restaurant Jean is a delightful culinary gem nestled in an old cooperage, offering a menu that celebrates traditional family-style cooking with a focus on high-quality ingredients and wood-fired grilling. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for gatherings with friends or family. Diners can expect to enjoy a variety of dishes, including standout options like cod with allioli and delicious salads. While the restaurant can get busy, finding a table without prior reservations is often possible.
Warm service, delicious food and interesting decoration. Saturday evening service is a bit slow at peak hours. Otherwise perfect.

We were invited By a local couple for 7:30. They brought the escargot 30 mins later. We waited another 45 mins and still no starters. We asked the waiter who said we wanted everything all at once? Finally almost 90 minutes after being seated all the food came out. Nothing was memorable. Lamb overpriced. Aubergine starter boring. Hardly any seasoning or flavors to remember. Pricing out of line with the results. It’s not an easy comfortable restaurant at all. Too bad. Too many other restaurants that are reasonably priced. Read the lowest reviews here, they are consistent with our experience.
Hsc3 H — Google review
We casually ended up here because our hotel was next to it. What a surprise! Great meat grilled over a wood-fired barbecue. Pleasant place with a nice vibe and great music. We ordered a Black Angus and an entrecôte — both very good — with excellent side dishes.
Daniele I — Google review
The place was very crowded but we could find a table without reservation with no problem. They have a wide variety of diches and a cute terrassa. The best was the cod with allioli, very tasty, the salad was also good and the half poulet was a litlle bit dry. The profiteroles are worth it if you like sweet ;). The staff was very nice, and they warned us about the 20-30min waiting time for the dishes to be served in advanced. We would recommended for a nice diner with friends or family.

What joy to be provided a perfect meal after a long journey from Portugal back to France. The service and attention paid by our waitress made it a wonderful dining experience. Only regret that we didn't have an opportunity to return.

Our Airbnb host recommended, we wouldn’t found it ourselves, very nice food, great decorations on the inside, must try pork cheek, super tender

We luckily managed to get a table at around 9pm on a Tuesday night. The host could not have been more welcoming. You are really not expecting to find such a lovely haven along the street - but it was a fabulous surprise. We enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. Only downside is that some of the shady trees did drop leaves on the table - but that’s nature! Loved it, and if we were in the area again we would definitely go back.

We've visited Le VIP several times throughout the summer and autumn. Great food and great service from friendly staff. Our little dog is always made welcome too. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We ate the menu of the evening and the price is reasonable: 29€ for a starter, main dish and dessert. I don't give the 5 stars because the front door of the restaurant didn't close well and this made that inside the restaurant it was a bit cold.

With a lot of luck, we were be able to have a table, the last one, for the Sunday's brunch. Such a wonderful experience. So much food and very good quality. Although she was serving alone on a busy night, we felt very well looked after and the food was spot on- steak and duck- plus the pudding 🤌🏼

Turned up at this place looking for a table for 3. The owner claimed he had no tables for 3. We looked around and there were plenty of tables for 2, it wouldn't have taken much to pull up an additional chair for our daughter but he didn't seem interested. We said we would wait and he changed the story to say it was bookings only and he had nothing for lunch. Kept watching and two people walked up without a booking and were seated immediately. Not sure whether this place is anti British or anti Chinese as my wife is Chinese but it was pretty clear this wasn't a place that welcomed foreigners. Disappointing as the place and the food looked great, hence the 2 stars.

(Translated by Google) Yesterday, I went to Paul's for a coffee. Honestly, it was ridiculous: the coffee cup was huge, it was like I was drinking soup from it! And the waffle... first of all, it was served to us on a tiny plate, it didn't match at all, and what's more, the inside was really weird and not good. Honestly, super disappointed. Boulangerie Le Levain d'Hélios in Perpignan is a renowned establishment for bread and artisanal treats. It has received numerous accolades, including first place for the best chocolate eclair in the Pyrenees-Orientales and the best traditional French baguette. The bakery's skilled artisans are dedicated to upholding tradition with their expert craftsmanship. Despite long lines, the service is efficient and friendly, catering to multilingual customers with ease.
We live near Barcelona and took a day trip to Perpignan and when we arrived we had five very hungry kiddos. We saw this place with a line out of the door and had to try. The line was long, but the service was quick and lovely. We made a sweet friend with a bull dog in line and when it was our turn, the woman helping us was SO patient and helpful. And between Spanish, English and French we were able to communicate flawlessly and we were beyond excited to eat some delicious pastries. The service was outstanding, and the pastries left zero room for disappointment! They were exactly what our hearts desired and we couldn’t be more grateful for such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back and make this adventure a monthly habit. Pain de raisin Croissant chocolate Croque Monsieur Beurre et jambom sandwich Baguette tradicional Filled croissants Tots 10/10!!!

We visited yesterday evening to try the famous croissants, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. There was nothing special about them—they tasted just like any other croissant we could buy at any pastry shop in Barcelona. Perhaps it was because we came close to closing time, around 7:15 PM, but we expected more. On a positive note, the staff and atmosphere were lovely.

Highly recommended bakery in Perpignan! The pain au chocolat was simply delicious. It was similar to a traditional croissant filled with chocolate inside. I also recommend their croissants, especially the filled ones. There are three filling options: Nutella, Apricot and my favorite one, caramel!

The supermarket is clean and has everything, and is very practical in this small residential area. There is even a butcher's shop, a rotisserie, an organic section, a parcel relay point and so on, they are really at their best in terms of service. From my point of view. This is the best place to eat a delicious pastry combined with good food. They have a lot of delicious different small cakes (which vary every month with certain specials now and than during events). They also serve good different filled bread types. The servers are very fast but unfortunately that makes them also a bit overstressed. This is one of the best pastry, coffee place to come & hang out with friends, comfortable furniture with a fantastic atmostphere , the staff is exceptionally sweet and attentive to their patrons . You will always have a great experience there.
Kiki D — Google review
Couldn’t try it because even before saying hello they kicked me out because dogs are not allowed. Just needed something to take away. Extremely rude, bad experience. I will never go back.
