Water Street Cafe is a popular New American eatery located in the heart of Stonington. The cafe offers a casually elegant dining experience with a focus on locally sourced seafood and produce. Known for its oyster bar featuring local and international varieties, the cafe also boasts house-made desserts and fresh seafood specials. With a mahogany bar and inviting atmosphere, it's a favorite spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy creative cuisine and drinks in a relaxed setting.
There’s something unmistakably comforting about the approach to Water Street Café. Tucked into the heart of Stonington, this cozy spot radiates old-school charm before you even step inside. Once through the door, you’re welcomed not just by a gracious host, but by the subtle hum of a place that knows its rhythm. The layout feels effortless—bar to the right, tables and booths to the left—perfectly intimate without trying too hard. The meal begins humbly with a bread basket—simple, warm, soft butter on the side. It’s not showy, but it does its job exceptionally well. Think understated rather than underwhelming. Starters here cover the spectrum. The shrimp cocktail stood out for its zippy horseradish-forward cocktail sauce—classic, but not dull. The Caesar salad arrived crisp, with a satisfying crunch from the croutons, while the beet and peach salad brought in a subtle sweetness that played nicely with the earthiness of the greens. The crispy tofu salad was a surprise hit—light, fresh, and punched up with a wasabi-soy vinaigrette that didn’t shy away from flavor. Among the mains, the shrimp and scallops fra diavolo was a clear highlight. The seafood was tender, the pasta perfectly cooked, and the chili oil gave the tomato sauce a welcome, slow-building heat. For something more casual, the café burger on brioche was hearty and satisfying, especially with the addition of cheese and bacon. The London broil was classic comfort—tender beef, garlic butter, and crisp fries. If you’re leaning toward poultry, the chicken sandwich delivered crunch and tang, thanks to Creole mustard and a crusty roll. Dessert brought it home. Two ice cream sundaes—one a straightforward vanilla-chocolate combo, the other a raspberry-drenched dream with a wafer base—both executed with care. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that leave the best impression. If you go, ask for Andy. His easygoing service tied the whole experience together. Water Street Café has roots that stretch back to 1994, founded by Walter and Stephanie Houlihan after years in the high-paced world of New York hospitality. Walter, a CIA-trained chef, brought a unique blend of French, Asian, and American influences to this coastal hideaway. Stephanie ensured that the front-of-house runs with genuine warmth, anchoring the café firmly in the heart of the community. Decades on, it’s clear why this spot remains a local favorite. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel—it’s just making sure it rolls smoothly and tastes great along the way.

For a Tuesday night the place was packed and they didn't have enough waitstaff to meet the demand, we sat for almost 30 minutes before someone took our drink order and over an hour before someone came to take our food order. The food was delicious I got the duck and scallops; the duck was so tender I could easily cut it with a butter knife. They were knowledgeable about the menu and used a soy alternative on my dish because of my Celiac Disease. My girlfriend got the halibut and while I didn't try it because I wasn't sure of it's contents, it cut through like butter. My girlfriends cocktail was VERY strong. Mine was delicious.

Came here for dinner while on a quick trip to the ocean. Food was phenomenal! Best salmon I've ever had. Drinks were also great, I got the... twist on an old fashioned? I don't remember what it was called. Excellent though. I will advise that they seem incredibly popular so call in advance to put your name on the list for a table. But I would highly recommend this spot to anyone, great food, drinks and service! If I'm ever back in the area, I will go again!

Food was OK, steak tasted fishy??? RI oysters were awesome, cocktail was good, would of liked a few but our waiter was there but not engaging, place is very nice inside and it was very busy, will try again

Fantastic experience here. Stopped in for the first time for a family member's birthday and had a great dinner. I had an espresso martini (which was super yummy and so smooth) and then the roasted chicken skillet entree which was nicely cooked and very flavorful. Had some delicious bites of cheesecake to share for dessert. The atmosphere was very cozy and the service was extremely friendly. Can't wait to come back soon!

randomly stopped in here on a road trip. on a cool street in a cute town. the town was a little sleepy around 8pm, but this place was not! what a cool spot, great vibes, friendly people and staff! i could feel old ship captains stumbling in here after a few weeks or days at sea, food was pretty good as well but not fantastic. More of a stop for vibes and libations i think, but would definitely recommend and will come here again

Wow. What a great restaurant. Fabulous food, wonderful service, lovely atmosphere, and live music to boot; a guitar player who set the mood perfectly. Four of us had great meals, including two of us who are Vegans, and the vegan entrée was absolutely delicious. We will definitely eat here again when we are in town. Highly recommended.

My other favorite restaurant in Mystic/Stonington. The room management is a mess. The bartender is, quite frankly, one of the best in the business in this area. The service is fun and friendly. And the food is freaking fantastic!

Lighthouse Bakery, located near the Mystic post office, offers a variety of European-style pastries such as napoleons, cream puffs, and tiramisu. The bakery also serves freshly-baked treats, coffee, omelettes, and breakfast sandwiches for visitors to enjoy at a few available seats. Additionally, refrigerated glass cases display roulade-style cake slices and cheesecakes. The bakery has recently made improvements to its menu and outdoor seating while engaging with the community.
Obsessed with their lattes, especially their seasonal Peppermint Mocha latte, and selection of Pressed juices!! My family loves their cheesecake brownie, breakfast sandwiches, and baguettes. Also love their merch, I get so many compliments. They have a run club and have built the coolest community. It’s my favorite place to stop by for a nice cold bev post-run. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out!

Let’s start off with the crew. They are phenomenal! Chef Sean and Chef Alex always make me the most delicious tasting breakfast sandwiches and burritos, I definitely recommend the gringo. On the other hand, my cold brew coffee always tastes amazing as well! Definitely check out LHB, and pick up some merch if they aren’t already sold out!
Wade W — Google review
Friendly staff. Delicious pastries, the freshest croissants, great coffee selections; cappuccino, espresso, latte, hot or cold. Nice neighborhood/community atmosphere. Good selection of breakfast sandwiches, I had the early riser, delicious. You should make a point to stop there when you are in the area.
Barbara C — Google review
Absolutely love it here! Their breakfast sandwiches are out of this world and their raspberry shortbread is the best sweet treat I’ve ever had. I come here quite often and they've never had a bad day. They make everything in house and you can tell based on the quality of their food. They are always so friendly and greet every person walking in as a friend. Best breakfast by far!
Big A — Google review
My wife and I went this morning for breakfast. It sits off the road and is easy to miss. The staff was great. Everyone that walked in was greeted and welcomed. The O.G. sandwich was larger than expected for the price. It’s served on a ciabatta roll made in the store and is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. The Gringo wrap was also very good. If we lived near by we would definitely go back.
Doug B — Google review
Really enjoyed coming here. The food, service, and eating area were lovely. Really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and muffins. Their drink flavors were so good too. Before visiting mystic, CT I read a lot about Sift but, frankly, I enjoyed the lighthouse much more and wish I’d stopped in sooner!
Heba E — Google review
This place is tucked away down a driveway and totally surprising. The environment was friendly and welcoming. The coffee was delicious (I’ll take 2)! And the egg sandwich, OMG! My Fiance and I felt so comfortable and taken care of. We said to each other, whenever we come back to Mystic we have to stop here. Do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it! Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time!

You know when you enter the Stonington side of Mystic, and the confusion of navigating around a flagpole in the middle of an intersection is either setting in or subsiding? Right there near that cloud of confusion is the sign for Lighthouse Bakery. Not just a bakery, its a full blown cafe, family owned and operated. I have driven past that sign one hundred times, yesterday, my bride and I pulled in. First we were pleasantly surprised there is a bit of parking back there so you don't have park on the street. There is a sizable outdoor space to sit, and decent amount of indoor seating as well. The young men behind the counter were very attentive directing us to menus and alerting us to the pastries of the day. Then there is the menu, bigger than we thought and more than baked goods. Sandwiches, Wraps, Pancakes, French Toast, Salads, and all the coffee drinks. After some deliberation we ordered lattes (latti?), one with almond milk one with cow's milk, and breakfast sandwiches. We ordered the Big 55 and the Mystic Melt. First the latti, they were probably the best in Mystic proper. I will go to Lighthouse Bakery for my caffeinated needs whenever I am downtown, from now on. The sandwiches were delicious! Fresh ciabatta, delicious chipotle aioli, egg done to perfection. We will be visiting again soon! They have a running club too!! So skip the train station, get out of the throng of tourists on the Groton side of Mystic and get a tasty sandwich and some of that black liquid gold from Light House Bakery!

The Mystic Diner & Restaurant is a cheerful and spacious eatery that serves all-day breakfast as well as American and Mediterranean comfort dishes. Situated conveniently across from Olde Mistick Village, this diner is perfect for families with its unpretentious menu featuring a variety of filling breakfast options like sandwiches, omelets, and pancakes. It's also close to hotels, the highway, Mystic Aquarium, and Mystic Seaport.
Had a great meal and service here, as always. Betty Ann was awesome, super kind and really attentive. She checked in often, offering to top off my coffee and making sure my daughters had enough to drink. My youngest is a bit of a BLT expert and said this was one of the best she’s had. My oldest had the Mystic French Toast, which she’s been wanting to come back for since our last visit, and she said it was just as good as she remembered. I had the lobster eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

The perfect diner stop — breakfast, lunch, or dinner! This place is a must if you’re passing through. It’s conveniently right off the highway and gives you that true local feel. If you’re an egg sandwich fan, you’ll love it here — and don’t miss the short rib hash. It was my first time ever seeing it on a menu, and it did not disappoint. The staff is super friendly, the service is quick, and the establishment is very clean with plenty of parking. Whether you’re fueling up for the road or settling in for a full meal, this diner hits the spot!
Thomas E — Google review
We visited for dinner and the breakfast with the family the next morning. We did not have to wait for a table either time. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Our food was quick to come out and delicious. For dinner I had the tuna melt on Rye. It was really good, and just enough tuna for a thick but not messy sandwich. My husband had the chili cheese hot dog, and also really enjoyed it. For breakfast we were a party of seven. Again fast service and food. Many opted for omlettes. I added a blueberry muffin, it was delectable, and really big. Our gluten free family member enjoyed the bana split parfait, with gluten free toast. When we visit again, I will be trying their Eggs Benedict, I had had it two day in a row so opted for a scramble instead.
Stephanie G — Google review
Stopped at Mystic Diner during a 2025 road trip from Philly, and it was a solid diner experience overall. The food was classic and satisfying — just what you’d expect from a traditional diner menu. Nothing over the top, but everything we ordered was fresh and hit the spot. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The waitress was super nice, and the staff and other patrons were genuinely friendly. It’s the kind of place where people still make eye contact and smile — a rare find these days. Big bonus for dog lovers: Mystic Diner is truly dog-friendly. Unlike most places that limit you to outdoor seating, here you can actually bring your dog inside the restaurant. That alone makes it worth remembering, especially if you’re traveling with a pup. One downside — they charge per cup of coffee, which is unusual for diners where refills are usually bottomless. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re a caffeine fiend. All in all, Mystic Diner is a friendly, welcoming stop with good food and a unique dog-friendly policy. Would happily stop here again on the road.
Damian R — Google review
Stopped in on our way up to Massachusetts. We ordered a corned beef rueben with onion rings and a turkey wrap. We were going to get the lobster roll but it was $30 (hot) and $29 (cold) which we just felt was too expensive. Bathrooms were clean and there is plenty of parking. It’s right off the highway so easy on/easy off. It added ~55 minutes to our trip but it was worth it! Better than McDonald’s for sure. Overall service was decent. Initially we were a little upset because the people next to us who sat down 5 minutes after us were taken care of and served drinks before our server even said hello but once we got past that it was smooth sailing.
Christine A — Google review
Been here a couple times when visiting Mystic. Seemed renovated since last time we came. We shared the Open Faced Turkey Sandwich. It was just OK. I was honestly expecting better. Had to add Pepper to bring some flavor into it. Wouldn't order it again. But the breakfast looked good.
Tara P — Google review
Tried out the Mystic Diner today. Prices were great and the portion sizes are generous. In all honesty I had the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had at this restaurant. I’m more than happy with my experience. Our servers (we had 2 one of them was being trained) were very kind and accommodating and were great with our kids. We will be making this a regular stop on our yearly vacations 🥰

Breakfast restaurant
Sift Bake Shop Mystic is a family-owned bakery with a French accent, offering an array of delectable treats. From elegant seasonal sandwiches to buttery quiche slices, the shop has something for everyone. However, it's the sweet indulgences that steal the show, including papery-flaky croissants filled with dark chocolate and lemon meringue tarts. Visitors can even watch the bakers in action through glass windows as they create their masterpieces.
This place absolutely rocks. I was pleasantly surprised by very reasonably priced coffee and the incredible presentation of all the pastries. There’s lots of options so if you don’t have a sweet tooth, you can grab a savory quiche or a sandwich on a fresh baked croissant. There’s usually a line out the door but it’s definitely worth the wait and there’s plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
Sarah G — Google review
This place was great! They are right in downtown mystic, and within walking distance from a public parking lot. The line was out the door but moved pretty quickly. The staff were friendly here. The food displayed was amazing just to look at. It was an organized, and perfectly laid out in the cases. So appealing to the eye that you wanted one of everything. The sticky bun was my favorite item I Tate’s but everything we tried was fantastic. The latte I had to compliment it was just as good. I can see why the line here is long, all day long. If you are in Mystic, you need to come here. If you are inside looking, get the sticky bun lol. Your welcome.
Kyle P — Google review
This place is worthy of the hype. We had the blueberry cheesecake dessert and our friend's had the vanilla cake. Delicious on all accounts and the straight black coffee was perfection as a strong and flavorful coffee. Everyone should go to Sift, and order one of everything...okay...just order something and you will see why the place constantly has a line out the door, down the street. Our dogs loved it too because a staff member walked by us on the patio area and gave them tiny dog treats. BRAVO to the chefs, owner, and wait staff. You are worthy of the highest praise.
Mary C — Google review
My daughter and I drove an hour due to a friend's recommendation. We enjoyed everything, especially the spinach and artichoke croissant and chocolate chip cookie. The key lime croissant was really good but too tart for me but daughter said it was out of this world. Quick moving line, tables inside and out were available. It was worth the drive. Ohhhh and the prices were good for the quality 👌🏾
Tanya C — Google review
Very good bakeshop in Mystic! Lines are long but if you have the time to wait, it’s worth trying something. We had the chocolate chip cookie, guava cheese danish, and chocolate croissant. The chocolate croissant was most notable because it has chocolate on both the inside and outside!! 😋
Tay J — Google review
We planned to visit the bakery many months ago due to the rave reviews. We were there on the morning on a weekend during rain, but there was still a big line for dine in, which is the same for pickup as well. Apparently you can only pick up without the line for bulk orders. The line moved fast so it was good. I was able to order based on the items on display. All croissants were tasty and a single croissant is very filling, vegetable croissant was savoury and tasty, pecan bun is very sweet and yum, only one type of brownie was available which was extremely fudgy and tasty, blueberry scone was dry and wished they served it with butter, and the macarons were out of this world. It is a quick service restaurant and you grab the order to dine on your own. There was good number of seats to dine in but it is also very convenient to dine in your car. I loved everything and would love to visit again! Strongly recommend!

Sift Bake Shop was incredible! Everything looked and tasted amazing — their pastries and desserts are truly next level. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into every detail. Easily one of the best bakeries I’ve been to. Highly recommend stopping by.

Located in the Olde Mystick Village, Bleu Squid Breakfast and Bakery Cafe has recently expanded to offer a delightful breakfast and lunch experience. Originally known for its cupcakes and grilled cheese sandwiches, the cafe now boasts a spacious dining area where patrons can savor a variety of pancake options for breakfast or indulge in delectable sandwiches. The cafe is also celebrated for its renowned cupcakes available in numerous flavors.
Quality all around!!! Service was great, food was outstanding and the seating was spaced to quite a comfortable distance both inside and outside. We had to wait for a table both times for breakfast, but well worth it. Cheese Omelette was superb, bacon is delicious, chocolate chip pancakes were not too sweet, but they were damn good. Eggs cooked just right. Heck even the multi-grain toast was good. Really nice establishment and would go here for breakfast anytime, they serve lunch too and I'll bet that is done right as well, let you know next time...

Decided to try this place on a whim, and oh boy it did not disappoint! I got the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and my mom got the avo and egg sandwich on a bagel. Also a side of home fries. Everything was delicious! Eggs were cooked to order, the bagel and biscuit were super fresh, and the home fries were perfectly seasoned. We also got the pumpkin butterscotch scone to go and that is amazing!! Nice outdoor seating area, and the indoor dining looked spacious. Please give this place a try, my experience was fantastic!
Lisa B — Google review
Enjoyed a nice breakfast here two days in a row while visiting Mystic! We were there early morning both days - so it was not busy. Service was good and food was excellent! Loved the Bacon skillet, fresh fruit plate, sandwiches, and pancakes. Sweet potato hash was not my flavor preference (heavy pepper overbearing the sweetness), but could appeal to others. Nice outdoor seating area and convenient location in the Old Mistick Village!
Angie M — Google review
Really nice breakfast spot that had been suggested to us, and I am happy we checked it out. A very clean and happening spot. A interesting menu, a little different than your typical breakfast spot. They are also make their own pastries. A nice selection of shakes And smoothies as well. The portions were generous and the price was fair. The staff was so nice and friendly. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot as it’s in an area with other businesses. A great place to fuel up before a long day in Mystic!
Ronnie T — Google review
I ate here for breakfast two out of the four days I stayed in Mystic. My server was very friendly and attentive. The food is pretty good. The prices are very reasonable and you really get your money's worth with the nice size portions given. The overall appearance of the restaurant is very cute and clean. I would come here again the next time I am in the area.

Breakfast options range from classic to unique. We had the challah french toast and the sweet potato skillet, and both were fantastic! Service a bit slow, but they were quite busy. Would definitely revisit.
Carolyn W — Google review
3.5 Stars…My son and I came here after his dentist appt. It was our first time at the new location. We walked in and were promptly seated outside (the inside is very bare). We sat there for 14 minutes before the waitress finally stopped and asked if we were being helped. She was very apologetic, and immediately took our food and drink order. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese, which was amazing, and an iced chai, which was ok. My son got a Lobster Roll, but we were very disappointed to see it was served on a hot dog bun and not a split-top New England Roll, which is how most NE Lobster Rolls are served (I’m from the area, so I know my Lobsta’ Rolls 😉). He also ordered an Orange Creamsicle smoothie that tasted like ice. There was hardly any orange flavor at all. It was super bland. The waitress gave us an Orange Creamsicle Macaroon as an apology for making us wait so long, which I thought was sweet (it was a REALLY good macaroon). Overall, the place isn’t bad. We’d go back as there are other things I would like to try on the menu, but as far as this particular visit, it was just ok.

This restaurant is located inside of the Old Village which was big plus. Although there was waiting but you just need to write the name and phone umber while you walk around the Old Village! also the turnovers were pretty quick. We ordered Lobster grilled cheese, Skillet and french toast crisp. Everything we ordered came out fast and the coffee kept refilled by the friendly staffs.

Lis Bakeshop is a delightful bakery offering an array of delectable treats, including custom cakes and breakfast options. Their top-notch coffee perfectly complements their out-of-this-world pastries, such as the potato leek or spinach feta croissants. The Chai Latte is highly recommended for those looking for a special treat.
Five Stars! Lis Bakeshop is a gem! The bagels are perfectly crispy and nicely toasted – a real treat. I especially loved the pizza bagel flavor; it was delicious and unique. The location is also lovely, with a charming shop decorated with flowers and situated near the sea with colorful beaches, making for a delightful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the overall vibe was great. My only suggestion would be to offer the option to build a veggie sandwich using their fantastic bagels. That would make it absolutely perfect for everyone! Highly recommend checking this place out!

This is a brilliant little spot for a quick, affordable bite. The bagels and breakfast rolls were excellent — fresh, tasty, and really filling. Coffee and tea were decent, and prices are very reasonable with no tips needed. We also tried a lemon cupcake and a cookie with cream, both of which were absolutely delicious. A nice surprise! Service was a touch brisk, but nothing that got in the way of a good experience. Overall, a great place for breakfast or a sweet treat without breaking the bank.

Came here one morning in search of coffee and pastry, we chose wisely. Yes, it's window service only, hence the picture of the counter, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The cappuccino and latte (larte per a funny mispronounciation) were perfectly made. I had a pistachio scone and my wife had a orange cranberry coffee cake, both were delicious (pictured). We sat at a table near the adjacent seafood place. Of course people can find a pleasant spot to enjoy coffee and pastry nearby. Regardless this is a good place.

I’ve lived in southeastern Connecticut my entire life and I can’t believe this was my first time here. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel which was delicious and I got a cinnamon roll which is honestly one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back to try more of their baked goods and a drink next time. This is a window service only spot and it’s located right by the water. There are some tables outside that you can sit at. There’s a parking lot behind the building you can park in or you can park on the street.

Stopped by for a coffee and decided to purchase a couple of scones for next morning's breakfast. My loaded potato scone was outstanding! Will be back to try some more of your delicious options.

Above and beyond the best place in town! Lis and the other ladies are just amazing, I start my day with them just about every day and what a great way to kick it off. The line looks intimidating, and does get crazy, but I promise you it is worth the wait and then some. It’s usually filled with locals waiting, so that says something! These ladies knock Sift out of the park.

No frills breakfast sandwich is extremely simple yet high quality, a true crowd pleaser. Simultaneously crisp and soft bagel, deliciously melted American cheese, a great sausage patty, [chef’s kiss]. And it comes out quick (but not suspiciously too quick). The cinnamon roll is the sugar rush you’re looking for to balance out the savoriness of the breakfast sandwich. Coffee is hot and exceedingly drinkable. No one item screams, “to die for,” but when you’re dying at 7am on a Sunday and your whole order hits, that’s the sign of the true craftsmanship. Go to Lis’ and be satisfied.

Gave this spot a try because Lighthouse was closed. I'm glad I did because the coffee was good and I really liked the pretzel breakfast sandwich. I've never had a breakfast sandwich with a pretzel bun before. Highly recommend!

Gourmet grocery store
Mystic Market East is a culinary haven offering gourmet prepared foods, including gluten-free salads, sandwiches, and hot bar delights made with locally sourced ingredients. With an extensive selection of bakery treats and over 75 cheese varieties, this market is an excellent pre-picnic pit stop. Additionally, they offer flavored honey, vinegars, and mustards at Sticky Situations. The Mystic East location is larger with seating options for a leisurely meal or quick bite before heading out for a sailing adventure.
Outstanding experience as always, friendly staff, fresh salads and great selection of grinders and delicious sandwiches and soups! They also have some amazing desserts for someone who has a sweet tooth...a great place to shop on your way to the Rhode Island Beaches! Highly recommend this spot!

The parking at this branch is better than the West store for sure. However, they were not very flexible about breakfast. Our group came in just before 11, and they only let half of us order from the breakfast menu and the other half was not. It's also important to get milk orders straight at a place that serves coffee - there was a mix up between whole milk and oat milk, which was a concern for dairy free and vegan parties. Great sandwiches and wide selection otherwise. The ceiling was very cool- it would be very pretty decorated for Christmas.
Talia K — Google review
Came here for a quick dinner and had a couple of sandwiches and the soup of the day. Fantastic sandwiches - warm, toasted and generous fillings. Service was fast and friendly - 5 stars from me.

Summer ‘25 UPDATE: The West market now follows this same rule: SO DO NOT USE ONLINE ORDERING- YOU WILL WAIT OVER 45min FOR 1 SANDWICH.. The sandwiches are great but the wait is ridiculous. Avoid this place. Just know that if you order online you go to the back of the line versus people who are in the store so you might wait an hour while someone else orders 40 minutes after you waits just 10 minutes. This is not posted on the website. Don't bother coming here, find some other place with decent sandwiches. **Go to Masa over at The Mill instead, better food and attitude.

If you are looking for fresh pastries and sandwiches you must come here! Everything is delish! Marta is so sweet !

Amazing service and food, came in Monday night, they were super busy with what I’m guessing is a dinner rush, the three guys working were running from one end to the other crazy, but was still smiling and was super friendly. Ordered a coupons sandwiches, they were ready in mins and was made to perfection. Even as crazy busy as it was at the time everyone was still smiling and attentive. Will return

Very good sandwiches and daily offerings of fresh salads and a nice array of snacks and gourmet candy. But beware of the bakery selections - lots of concentrated sugar, seed oils and worse - shortening. Low class - look good in the case and pretty awful once bitten. The taste of butter is rare in these bakery treats and many are past their prime. The NY coffee cake a certain disappointment- the cheapest of ingredients
Deb G — Google review
They have really good pre-made meals that are healthy. And some that are not. It's also one of the places that you can get fancy olive oil. Maple syrup popcorn.. Yum yum. It's also kind of like a coffee house and desserts.

Deviant Donuts is a popular donut shop located in a popular shopping mall in Mystic, Connecticut. They have a wide variety of donuts and coffee that satisfies the desires of every donut and coffee lover.
Really great coffees! I've never been disappointed! The lemon donuts are AMAZING! Prices might seem a bit high, but the quality is very good. The donuts are super thick, so it's worth it. We always share one!

Deviant Donuts is a blast—fun, unique flavors that taste as awesome as they look. The coffee was smooth and satisfying, and the staff was super friendly. Loved the relaxed, cozy vibe of the seating area. A perfect spot to treat yourself and chill.

Creative and tasty donuts! Worth the wait and visit. The line moved very quick. We got the strawberry crunch and samoa. Both were delicious. Soft, fluffy, and bursting with sweetness goodness. Got lattes to compliment the donuts and it did not disappoint. There are some outside seatings for those who want to sit and enjoy the yummy treats.
Anhdao Z — Google review
We came to Mystic, and wanted to get something sweet after we had lunch. We saw this place on social media and they said that the doughnuts here were great, so we decided to try it out. The place is small but had a good space outside to sit. They have a wide variety of different treats and we tried a doughnut. It was very good and very soft. The flavor wasn’t too sweet and the sprinkles were perfect. We definitely want to come back to try more things on the menu soon!

Cute donut shop in the olde village. Get there early for the best selection. We had a gluten sensitive cider donut —-very sugary and nice flavor and crumb. We also couldn’t decide between the fluffernutter (filled donut) or the PB Cup, so got both to try. They both had nice flavor, though I’m not sure I could have eaten a whole one of either. The bake on the filled donut was very good. They also had some nice seasonal coffee options.
Monica Y — Google review
The donuts look fun and definitely fun to bring your kids too. The designs are adorable and the flavors too. We only got to try the Samoa donut and it’s a bit too sweet for us but still good.
Christina W — Google review
We always pre-order gluten free donuts for our family since a few have celiac disease. The donuts here are extremely good! They have specials all the time and have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The store gets very busy in the morning and the line tends to get pretty long. That's why we pre-order the day prior. They also have lattes and coffee and other drinks. We return often due to the quality and taste of the donuts.
Heath C — Google review
During our recent visit, we purchased two donuts, four cookies, a coffee, and a tea, totaling $30.00. Upon returning to our hotel, we assessed the items. The Boston cream donut was satisfactory, though the cream filling was minimal. The apple cider donut possessed an accurate flavor profile, however, it was over-fried, resulting in a hard texture. Regarding the cookies, we selected a MM, chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia nut, and pumpkin variety. While the cookies were substantial in size and thickness, the dough lacked sufficient flavor. We would not recommend based of our experience.

This young crew is so very lovely - super polite, patient and kind! I went in not having an 100% idea of what I wanted, just knew I needed something decaf and multiple suggestions were made after a few questions about what I like. I ended up with a decaf pumpkin Frappuccino and it was light and delicious- just right for the seasons recently change in the air! Also, you can never have enough whipped with cinnamon!😁 Pluses: - Coffee ☕️ is on point - customer service is top notch - great indoor and outdoor seating areas for a quick meet up or a longer sit for studying. 🥰 Cons: - though delicious I don’t know if I can justify a daily Frappuccino purchase, $7+ for a tall is a stretch especially for such a global brand. I would understand if it was a small Mom + Pop but I may just reserve these for a special occasion and go back to my normal pike place.

Absolutely convenient location (by the Mystic Aquarium) makes it a perfect spot to grab a coffee while you wrap up your day at the aquarium and looking to grab a coffee on your way back. There are enough seating options available and parking is not a problem as there are enough parking spots in the Mystic Green compound. Staff is very humble and supportive of your preferences and selection.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks. Lots of seating, quick baristas, and altgough it is in a very touristy area, not always busy, and plenty of parking. (But no drive thru)

We stopped in this Starbucks on our daily Starbucks trip traveling through New England 3-3-24. It is beautiful outside and inside. Unfortunately, our experience with the staff wasn’t as pleasant. They were rude and impatient. Coffee was average.
Melissa L — Google review
This is the worst experience I've had at Starbucks. There is process improvement needed on the mobile order vs cafe order. Using principles of LEAN would assist this store in getting orders out in a timely manner. I ordered two frappuccinos and no less than 20 mobile orders were processed in front of me. The customer who is in the store should be the customer served first. Process improvement such as having the customer let you know when they arrive at the store may assist you at this store in reducing backlog. Also I watched 2 team members leave the floor while there were 10 people in line to order and 15 people waiting to get orders in store. I have attached pictures of the amount of mobile orders sitting on the counter for 20 minutes while instore customers were left sitting. Lean and Six Sigma may help this store perform at a higher level. TLDR ordered 2 drinks at 1035 and didn't get then until 1100.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain known for its signature breakfast offerings and an impressive array of coffee drinks. During my recent early morning visit at 6:30 am, I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and teamwork displayed by the staff. The older lady at the register was particularly delightful, crafting what might be the best cup of coffee I've ever had from Dunkin'.
I come to this Dunkin' specifically for the morning staff. My dog and I have come here on our way to work for the past 6 months and have always been greeted with kindness and excitement. ❤️
Mikayla — Google review
Went at 6:30 am on our way home from vacation and I just had to leave a review! The older lady at the register did the dang thing! Along with the rest of the staff, a huge drive through order came through along with our five drinks and food and donuts. Beautiful team work and it was silent, they all knew what to do and how to get it done! The coffee I got was the bestest I’ve had from Dunkin, the older lady at the front made it and she was just so sweet.
Mia B — Google review
I ordered 1 coffee. Pulled around to the window and then waited 15 mins for that coffee. FOUR zombified employees including a manager creeped by the window without saying a word or even making eye contact. Finally a young girl came to the window with tears and mascara running down her face and served me my coffee. The owner needs to throw the entire crew away. A group of overtired toddlers could run this establishment better. Oh and the coffee SUCKED
Rebecca S — Google review
We came to this dunkin looking to get a bell not toasted with extra cream cheese. When we got the bagel, there was virtually none. No big deal, they’re just things happen. We went back in to have it fixed, and was very rudely told “I put extra cream cheese on there”. The gentleman making food proceeded to argue rather than even just giving us a side of cream cheese to fix it ourselves. The lady working front counter was wonderful, and did her best to diffuse the situation!

i had a prior review from a year ago about how bad this location was- and they have done a full 180 since then! the staff make my day every morning, and they have not messed up my order once in the many months i have now been frequenting this location. the older gentleman that works there is such a joy, and the entire staff has an electric energy whenever you're there. ive never seen a better team!
Sophia R — Google review
To rushed , don’t listen to what you say when it comes to orders , you have to say it 3 times and sound annoyed just for the workers to get your order right , I guess we have to start asking for straws when you get an iced drink bc the guy in the window just rushes me so I could leave thier drive through to make the timer on time , not organized at all , only one lady at the store makes it organized and makes sure she gets your order right , I’m about to swap to a different Dunkin and drive the extra 15 minutes to work so I don’t have to deal with these issues daily in the morning
Nichloas L — Google review
I wish I could give this 0 stars. Just had the worst experience with the rudest associate in the drive through making fun of someone’s accent just because she didn’t have enough brains to listen and understand someone who can speak more than one language. I wish I got her name so that I could complain to the owner but we were so shocked by her behavior that we drove away!!
