It’s an experience to say the least! Be ready to order when it’s your turn or they’ll skip right over you. Even if you just take a little too long like my husband did. The line was long but very efficient and moved quickly. The line was almost out the door when we entered and we were in and out within 10 or so minutes. The pecan pie bar is the best I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t even like cannolis but I like theirs!

Oh my goodness. 🤤🤤🤤 the crème brûlée cannoli was delicious. I ate a cannoli from another place the day before and thought I wouldn’t eat another one bc it wasn’t that great. However, this cannoli has changed my mind. Turns out you just need to have one from the right place. Which is this place. I also orders the Oreo cannoli and Oreo cheesecake. All three things were phenomenal.

Certainly better than the other bakeries in the area. Small, family run, and crazy efficient. Can be tough to know what you want as people stand way too close to the cases. The place is on par with the best in the remaining Italian-American enclaves in the US. Great pastries, good arancini, and solid, traditional cannoli. Individual canolo filled on the spot. When the line gets long they try to stay ahead of it, but probably never filled more than a few minutes before you get your. The Florentine cannolo is an absolute treat and worth the wait. The non-pastries are considered "drunk food" by the locals, but are still good.

We ended up in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts at Bova's Bakery the Institute of Yummy 😋🤤🔥 Deliciousness 😋🤤😋🔥. We lucked out and found Street Parking 🅿️ but there is Paid Parking 🅿️ lots and Garages a short walking distance . The Cannolis are so Delicious 😋🤤😋 and Crispy with Great fillings 😋🤤😋🔥. The Lobster Tails 🔥😋🤤😋 to the Cheesecakes 🍰 and Yummy Pastries 🧁🥮😋😋🤤😋 everything was Delicious 😋. The Calzones are also Excellent 😋🤤😋. They are open 24 Hrs a Day 7 days a week. Service was Excellent 👍. Always busy which is a great sign. Old School Italian 🇮🇹 Bakery ♥️🥰😍. Highly Recommend Bova's Bakery! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😋😋😋😋😋

Bova’s is not a spot to stop into for one thing, because it’s next to impossible. The smell from all the pastries and baked goods hits you before you even step in. We got 3 cannolis and a whale tail.. oh my. They were absolutely delicious & not too overly sweet. It’s open 24/7, so you don’t have to find a perfect time to come in. This spot is exactly what a bakery should be. Although we only had a few pastries, they had an amazing assortment of bread and other food too.

You’re in Boston, you’re craving old school Italian food, head to the North End! Any of the local spots are amazing and will satisfy your tastes. BUT afterwards, don’t get dessert in the restaurant. Instead head straight up the block to Bovas Bakery. Wait on the long line that usually can be seen coming out of the front door, it’s worth it! Every pastry and cake is fresh, soft and deliciously sweet! You can taste the quality with each bite! And it’s not expensive at all. We wanted to sample a few items so we got the whoopie pie, the black and white cookie and the Boston crème donut. All were out of this world and just $18 for everything! We walked down the block, sat on a bench and devoured everything! The whoopie pie was by far the best thing we had that day, get one, you’ll thank me!

We found this place by chance. Seeing it's good reviews, we gave it a shot. The cannoli's were delicious! All the ones I had previously tried were extremely sweet. We also tried the tiramasu, which admittedly took me a few bites to appreciate. We then tried Mike's, because our trolley guides recommended them but we assume they must get paid for that because Bova's is far superior!

This place was recommended by a friend and it was amazing! There are so many treats to chose from! A group of us split a Boston cream, strawberry shortcake, hostess cupcake and peanut butter cupcake. They were all amazing! The lines can be long, but moves fast and worth the wait.

We had heard about this place and wanted to come there to check it out. There are two parts of the bakery, the take out portion and then a small seating area for dining in. We decided to dine in and had americanos and cannolis. They do have a gluten free cannoli which was delicious! The coffee and cannolis were excellent, and we were happy to have the experience at Modern Pastry! It is a cash only place, as an added piece of info.

We came with one mission and that was for the cannolis. Modern Pastry Shop delivered, crisply, sweetly, and with just the right amount of powdered sugar chaos. This bakery feels like an Italian tradition. I loved it the moment I stepped in! The display window boasts trophies, vintage photos, and branded merch, hinting at a legacy of excellence. But it’s the dessert case that truly steals the show, rows of chocolate-dipped cannoli, glossy cupcakes, and pastries so artfully arranged they practically beg for a photo op. We grabbed a pair of cannolis and settled into their seated section with espressos in hand. It’s a cozy nook tucked away from the bustle, perfect for savoring each bite. The cannoli shell was crisp and golden, the filling rich and velvety, and the chocolate-dipped ends added a decadent finish. The almonds were a nice touch as well. Beyond the sweets, the shop doubles as a gourmet market, with shelves of pasta, olive oil, and imported snacks. Service was quick and friendly, even with a steady stream of customers. Modern Pastry was a great play’s to grab a classic cannoli, a strong espresso, and a seat to enjoy them both.

It's no wonder there is a long line. The cannoli here is made fresh to order and filled with cream and powdered sugar. The crunch gives it a lovely texture. I would even say it's better than the ones I've tried in Italy! I ordered the creme brulee and the Napoleon as well, but none compared to the cannoli. It's truly better than the rest. The lobster tail is another popular choice. They also have coffee and other drink options. The line moved fast and the staff was great at efficiency. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. There are even tables to sit, although I did not. I ate mine near the swings. It's cash only.

Christina Aguilar is it true asset to this place her personality goes a long way. The pastries in baked goods are fantastic. I ordered cannolis with traditional stuffed ricotta dipped in chocolate and pistachios and there were no regrets! Maybe one regret... That we didn't get more. Be prepared to stand in a line that moves pretty quickly and is cash only.

Modern Pastry is Boston's best for cannoli and freshly baked Italian pastries. The connoli shells are baked in advance (daily) but they aren't filled until the moment you order them amazing, and they are ridiculously delicious! Modern has been here for more than 50 years. Mike's Pastry, located on the opposite side you may be better known for tourists, but Modern is the place where the locals go! 100%recommend!

Excellent experience!! So many people, line out the door, just everything I’ve heard of Boston being. Location was amazing and they had a lower level where people would meet up for tours and pizza/bar. Highly recommend the hostess, SO good!!

Ordered a vegan hot chocolate and an almond macaroon (vegan & gluten free). The macaroon was delicious!! Perfect size and just enough sweetness. The vegan hot chocolate wasn't as sweet but I thoroughly enjoyed it as I walked around Public Garden in the light rain. Really nice workers and great atmosphere! 💞

Had the chicken artichoke pizza and it pleasantly surprised me! The crust was fluffy and the toppings had a lot of flavor. It was a good size too considering we are in back bay. The outdoor seating was great in the nice weather too. Unlike other places there are also a good number of servers.

I have been to flour bakery on multiple occasions and it never disappoints. I tried their coffee, tuna melt sandwich, applewood smoked bacon sandwich and added chicken to it, sticky bun and lemon meringue pie and would recommend them all. My favorite sandwich is the applewood smoked bacon.

I wanted to have breakfast and chose this place. Atmosphere and location amazing, you can seat outside and eat. I ordered cappuccino big size, they did delicious coffee and cup was full, I’m grateful. Also I ordered avocado toast and added salmon. Sandwich was good and big. Salmon I didn’t really liked it because it was cold and salty. I didn’t know that and didn’t ask. I thought it will be on sandwich or slices. Price is 9 dollars for additional salmon. Total 35. Expensive, but when you want to it.

1 star for Flúor Bakery + Café. Terrible experience. I ordered an egg sandwich and a meat one — both were awful, I had to throw them out completely. I get that taste is subjective, but this was unacceptable: cold, flavorless, and not fresh at all. Service was poor, staff seemed uninterested and unmotivated. On top of that, the kitchen area and product display counter were dirty. They really need to fix or invest in those details. I don’t recommend this place at all.

This place offers high quality coffee and food! We had a delicious egg sandwich. French toast had an unique flavor. We also tried cheese cake and chocolate chips. Everything fresh and made with care, high recommended! The place can get busy over the weekend.

As recommended by a friend, we made the trip to Clear Flour Bread in Brookline on a Sunday morning. Even before we parked, we spotted the line of people waiting outside and knew right away that our 50-minute drive would be worth it. The pastries did not disappoint—everything we tried was absolutely delicious. While there’s no indoor seating, you can enjoy your fresh-baked treats on a bench right outside, which adds to the charm. It was also surprising to learn that most of the customers were locals who stop by almost every week—always a good sign! The only downside is that they don’t serve coffee at the same counter, so we had to grab ours from their Coffee Bar next door. Still, I’ll definitely be coming back.

The aroma of freshly baked bread, warm pastries, and subtly sweet cakes immediately enveloped me, offering a sense of comfort and anticipation. The interior exuded classic Boston bakery charm, simple yet elegant, with displays that made every item feel inviting and carefully considered. I picked up a cinnamon crumb cake, a molasses spice cookie, and a chocolate bundt cake made with 25% rye flour and topped with chocolate ganache. Each item reflected a balance of texture, flavor, and craft. The crumb cake was perfectly tender with just the right hint of cinnamon spice, the molasses cookie had a deep, rich warmth that lingered, and the chocolate bundt cake was indulgent without being heavy, with a ganache that elevated the experience further. Benji, who served me, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He even offered a small, fresh piece of bread on the house, a gesture that felt genuinely thoughtful and added a personal touch to the visit. It was the kind of hospitality that makes a place memorable beyond its baked goods. As I noticed a line forming outside the bakery, I understood immediately why: Clear Flour Bread delivers pastries and breads that are not only delicious but carefully considered, with each bite reflecting skill and care. The combination of thoughtful craftsmanship, inviting atmosphere, and genuinely warm service makes this a spot I would return to without hesitation.

Thanks to google maps, this sparked our curiosity. Highly recommend. Wonderful selection of fresh made breads and pastry eats. We ordered quite a bit since we wanted to try as much as we can. Our stay was short but we'll be here again if we're in Boston.

Went to pick up some bread and baked goods. The line was crrrazzzy but I wasn't expecting it so maybe that's just something you must emotionally prepare for ahead of time. The staff were very nice. Their baked goods and bread were lovely but not mind blowing. I'm not sure I'd go back but if you're looking for something on a nice day it could be a good option.

Stepped in on a gloomy fall Sunday, looking for a hot cup of coffee and I was not disappointed. We ordered a hot honey vanilla latte and a mocha latte, both of which were exquisite. What struck me the most was the high quality milk that was being used which was the organic whole milk in glass jars. This really mattered because the coffee was rich and it absolutely delectable. They also offer a range of condiments which can be purchased. Overall, a highly recommended cafe.

chocolate pretzel croissant. what more could you want? service was also divine, I called in the morning to see when the pretzel croissants would be available (12-12:30pm) & the guy on the phone was super helpful. staff were super kind & though small, the atmosphere inside was cozy & inviting. Cute homey feel cafe. Great breakfast & lunch options. Great loving customer service feels like family. My chicken shawarma and pumpkin latte was 100% perfect! Also my group ordered feta whip, cookie, lamb shwarm, Arabic coffee and tea all delicious including my BLACK SEA CORNBREAD. Wow! Breakfast weekdays 8-11am weekends is till 2pm Lunch 11am-close daily

Shakshuka is a must try 🥘🫓! The portion isn't that big but great for one person or to share with another as a small brunch. It comes with a pita that's hot and very soft. Also, very picture worthy 📸

Delicious Turkish menu with extremely fast service. The place though small it has a warmth about it. The siting space is limited but waiting is worth it as food is amazing. The servers are courteous and sweet. No nonsense place with some amazing dishes. U can also pick up thinsg off the shelf. Nice memorable experience.

What a gem! My husband and I stopped in here to grab a quick lunch on a recommendation. We were blown away by the food, pastries, drinks and little mini market. We ended up buying some treats to bring home. Highly recommended!

Wow the flavors here are so fresh and unique!! When we entered, I was skeptical, but the food was so good and like nothing I've tasted - admittedly I don't eat at meze places super often. The chicken wings (date molasses bbq and lemon herb on top) were SO good, the flatbread and shawarma tasted different from any other place bcus of the filling. The shakshuka came with pesto which was jnteresting. Highly recommended. There's not a lot of seating and it's a free for all so don't come with a group expecting to sit.

I love Sofra! I grab lunch to take home all the time and when I can get a seat inside for breakfast I love to sit by the window! Pastries are amazing, the morning bun latte is my go to, and all of their mezze options are fab!

Ordered Çilbir which is a poached egg w/garlicky yogurt, fingerling potatoes, chile butter, toasted buckwheat, and their Turkish-Style Breakfast of soft-boiled egg, cucumber, tomato, olives, feta, yogurt, seasonal spoon sweets. Quality was outstanding but quantities small. Service was fine. Coffee was very good. The interior is a bit cramped but there's some seating outside. There's a small parking lot next door.

Before I even get to how good the cannolis are… we were stunned by the line at the North End branch, especially after already waiting 45 minutes at Neptune Oyster. So we detoured to this other branch instead. Hardly any wait (just 5 minutes!) and it was worth it. The cannoli was out of this world: crisp shell, rich ricotta filling. I loved the classic ricotta, sometimes less really is more. Highly recommend walking the extra 10 minutes to this branch inside a food court. Bonus: air conditioning and actual seats to enjoy your cannoli in comfort.

The mousse cake was fantastic. Couldn’t decide on a cannoli flavor to try. Cake was worth the stop. Other items looked great as well. In a food court with other restaurant/shops.

Cannolis were bigger than expected and cost $7 to $9 depending on which to get. We got a coated chocolate and a coated chocolate. Service was quick and you get your snack within two minutes.

Stopped by and got a canoli and a slice of carrot cake. Both were good and my wait was less than 5 minutes.

Tried a few things here that turned out good. The strawberry cheesecake was great. It was quite rich, but flavorful. The pineapple coconut pastry was also on point. It was lighter but tasted good and wasn't overly sweet. I'd try again for sure.

I have been a customer at Hanover for years. Great cannolis and great service , kind staff, always welcoming customers. Instead, after three times I was al Mike’s Pastry close to North Station , I gave up. I erased that selling point from my list of shops. The lady who is there looks like she does not like her job and like she does not like customers. Never a sign of kindness. Never a word. Always looking at you bothered . If you ask anything she barely answers with an annoyed silent gesture. If you do not see that mute gesture because you are distracted you have to ask again. So, your asking twice can cause a major annoiance. Never any more !

I have a gluten allergy so it was nice to have a breakfast option that included bread. Had the smoked salmon egg breakfast sandwich, absolutely delicious and fresh —paired that with an oatmilk latte. The hubs had the lamb hash, also fresh and amazing. We left with happy, full belly’s.

We stopped in during our trip and were instantly hit with the smell of fresh pastries- it was warm, cozy, and so inviting. The place was super clean, and the outdoor patio was adorable. The breakfast sandwiches tasted really fresh, and the pastries were delicious. We tried the pumpkin latte special too—it was just okay, but the overall vibe made it worth the stop. Definitely glad we swung by.

Lovely breakfast place, great variety of pastries but also hot food. I came on a Sunday and it was very busy managed to get a seat at the bar as I was alone. Back again on Monday and it’s much quieter. The overnight oats are delicious! Will be back everyday whilst I am here for work for the UK.

This place had a huge line which after waiting 10 minutes to order I was excited. Their food presentation was quite nice, it’s definitely too bad the flavor wasn’t a match to the appearance. The chocolate muffin looked awesome but it was totally dry inside. The pumpkin pie and pecan dessert were equally disappointing as they looked so good. Overall maybe I ordered the wrong things or this place has good coffee but it was a big disappointed for me.

We were staying a block from here, decided to pop in and great choice! It was tough to choose because everything looked so good but we weren’t ready for a full breakfast. We chose a chocolate and almond croissants. The chocolate one had perfect amount of chocolate as did the almond. Caramel latte and strawberry tea refresher which was a tad too sweet but both were good. I wish we lived closer, I’d be there often.

The breakfast items are great. The pastries are even better. Staff is friendly and attentive. Only downside is finding a seat, it took a while for table space to become available. It seems people linger long after they finish eating.

This place is one of my favorites—I’m a big fan of their sourdough. The pastries are great too, but the sourdough really stands out as some of the best in Massachusetts. But the coffee... I was honestly shocked by the milk foam today. Given the price and the beans, it should be at a specialty level, but the barista clearly didn’t put any effort into it. I wasn’t even expecting latte art, but I did expect a bit more care than this

The La Saison is a great bakery shop. The rose latte and Saffron latte were so delicious. Their cheesecake “Akbar mashti” was also delicious and not only packed with sugar. We got also breakfast sandwiches that were good too. I would come back again for lattes and pastries!

Sandwiches are generally available after 10 am. Egg burger with cheese is nice however, it'd be better to put some leaves. Croissants are good. They have various bakeries, chocolate cakes and rolls.

Croissant was quite good (especially for Boston) with a very good pull and nice loud crunch sound. Kouign Aman was delightful, light and sweet. Pain au chocolate was not bad—very nice dark chocolate but the pastry itself was a bit less puffy and crispy than I would prefer. Outdoor seating only, the vibes are great, queer friendly, and relaxed(even if the construction across the street is awful and has been going on for years).

The bread here is significantly overpriced for the quality. Paying $7.50 for a barbari bread that isn’t exceptional feels unreasonable. The long lines, crowded space with no indoor seating, fancy lattes, and Americanized Middle Eastern offerings generate hype and make the menu accessible to a wide audience, but the bread itself doesn’t measure up. There are other bakeries that offer tastier breads at far better value. Gyumri Lavash, Clear Flour and Hungry Ghost all make breads with superior flavor and texture that are worth paying a premium for. I wanted to love this place because of the team running it, but it feels more reliant on marketing and hype than on true quality.

La Saison Bakery in Cambridge offers delicious baked goods and charming atmosphere. During our recent visit, we quickly fell in love with the bakery, and it's easy to understand why our friends recommended it. We can't wait to come back! The bakery features a varied menu that includes drinks, pastries, breads, breakfast and brunch options, sandwiches, pizzas, cakes, and retail items like jams. During our visit, we ordered the Arugula & Burrata Pizza and the Hot Soppressata Pizza, opting for two slices of each. Both flavours were delicious in flavour and quality. Their Sicilian-style pizza slices were selling out fast during our midday Sunday visit. All of their baked goods looked and smelled delicious and offer limited sourdough flavours depending on the days of the week. Do note, they feature minimal outdoor seating and has a small storefront which does not have indoor seating.

A quick Sunday morning stop at Salt Patisserie. Great selection of baked goods at the hour, short line, and not much of a wait. 5 stars to the team — super knowledgeable, attentive, and happy to walk you through the options. Loved the experience! Thank you! The coffee cruller was delicious. There’s seating both inside and outside; parking was easy, and free on Sundays. Cheers!

I love the pastries and coffee here, there is not a single thing I have tried that I didn’t think was exceptional. I really enjoy their breakfast sandwich, almond croissant, bread, and iced lattes in particular! But really I feel that you cannot go wrong with anything here. It is a bit more pricey, and there is very little seating inside and outside, but it is so worth it!

SALT Patisserie is an European bakery in the heart of Newton Corner, with a wide range of pastries, breads, and more. The staff were friendly, though it was a bit confusing because the lines weren't well established and because of how the pastry shelf is, there were many people who hadn't ordered yet but were just standing and browsing pastries, leading to people cutting each other. We got a cinnamon roll here. It was pretty good, with a decent taste and enough glaze within and on top of the roll. The bread itself was light and fluffy, and didn't feel heavy.

It was our first visit to this cafe. We loved the croissant and passion tart. Good customer service and was a nice place to enjoy pastry and coffee eventhough we didn't try coffee this time. We will definitely go back. Paid street parking.

Fabulous pastries and highly recommend. This pastry shop has great quality of croissants. You don’t need to go to overhyped shops in Boston. On a Sunday morning before church I ordered a plain croissant and a raspberry crème croissant and they were both great. The raspberry creme used a fresh good quality raspberry puree and diplomat crème with real vanilla beans I can see the specs from the pods. The crust was crispy and flakey. So good I was just in silence. I also ordered a small cold brew and ate outside. Highly recommend for quality pastry. I will be back

Salt Bakery has excellent coffee and desserts which are not only elegant and beautiful but delicious! I recently ordered a wedding cake. Thiago, the baker was very accommodating and the cake was exquisite! Peter, the manager is very helpful and it’s a treat to stop by for bread or coffee in the morning. I feel lucky to have a local bakery in Newton Centre!

I come here often on weekend mornings and have never been disappointed! Every pastry I’ve tried, whether sweet or savory, has been fantastic. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the pastries.

There is nothing better than a gorgeous summer morning, beautiful friends to spend time with, and delicious food and drinks to enjoy together! Flour in Boston Common has that in spades! They have a surprisingly full menu for their small park venue! Besides needing a few more sun shades for their metal tables, they don’t need to do anything differently! Coffee? Great! Sticky buns are legendary best sellers for a darn good reason! Overnight oats gave me energy well past lunch time! The avocado toast was reportedly “perfect” and the cinnamon roll was pretty tasty, too! Delicious food leveled up a beautiful morning!

stopped by Flour at Boston Common on Thursday, and what a treat! The weather was delightful, so I took a walk through the Common before my work meeting—and there it was, this gorgeous little shop in the heart of the city! I had the pecan bun—sweet, buttery, and absolutely delicious—and the coffee was divine. The outdoor seating is lovely, with views of the sun, people, and beautiful buildings all around. A perfect Boston moment. Highly recommend!

I decided to go here after the place down the road was super busy. I ordered the Salmon salad bowl, and a donut. The salmon came out cold, and the flavours of the dish tasted unpleasant. It might have just been the blue cheese. But the dish felt depressing. I was hoping the Donut would change things. It was okay. You milage may very but if you go here, don't get the salmon

Stopped by for breakfast sandwiches. They had gluten free bread options! The lady who took our order was super sweet and friendly and very helpful. I would 100% come here again.

Such a gem & so convenient for when you’re scrolling through the park. We tried a handful of things; my favorites being the pizza & hot chocolate. Surprisingly good & not overly expensive! Must try!

This was a great find. I did not know they had a location here. So there are special items only found at this location, like the hot dog. In fact, that what I got. It was pretty good for a hot dog. I liked the shoestring fries under the hot dog as an extra treat. It could use some more smaller seating, but I am guessing they are zoned for all they have.

My first time at Flour and I will be back... I got a Avacado Toast and Iced Coffee plus a chocolate chip pastry....so good. Service was excellent and everyone was helpful and friendly.....

Awesome little pastry shop down in Boston. I can highly recommend the cannolis as they were delicious. Some things to note however, it was incredibly busy when we went and we spent somewhere around 45 minutes waiting in line. Once you get inside the line branches and there are several cashiers so inside is sort of just a crowd of people. Another important note, Mike's Pastry is CASH ONLY, but this does make the process all lot quicker. Overall though, despite the line the quality of product you are getting is absolutely top notch and if you're looking for some delicious dessert in Boston you should definitely check this place out.

Pretty famous for their Cannolis and it didn’t disappoint with respect to that. We tried the most basic one - Ricotta cannoli - and it was probably the second best I’ve had (best so far is Alati in Montreal) till date. Quite fresh and tasty. The crust was quite thin, which is good. Having said that, the Boston Cream Pie was a bit let down. While it was great on the surface, the middle area was frozen and didn’t leave a good taste. Ambiance in the store is something amazing. Very crowded but was being managed in an orderly manner. Mike's Pastry has it all. Most famous for the cannolis, there are turnovers, pretzels, donuts, and cakes. IMPORTANT: Mike's is cash only. I ordered the Apple Turnover, Chocolate Chip Cannoli, and Peanut Butter Cup. The turnover is fantastic, with a perfect balance of apple and pastry, and was moist and not dry. I wasn't a fan of the cannoli, but to be fair, I don't like cannolis and was hoping this would change my mind. The peanut butter cup was excellent, and well worth it, assuming you have a drink to go with it. It's rich. When you're ready to order, just talk to one of the several ladies behind the counter. There's not an official line, just when someone is free, talk to them. This is a bustling pastry shop, and I would order here again.

Honestly, my wife and I devoured them so quickly we almost didn't get to appreciate how truly good they were! Despite the constant crowd—and I can totally see why this place is always busy—the ladies helping behind the counter were incredibly friendly and efficient. It is a bakery with every Italian American dessert you can think of! It is cash only and only to go. There is no seating available and your to go orders come in a box. My mission was to try the cannoli and since it was fall they had a pumpkin flavored one and it was delish! They only sell it in their regular size and there is a minimum to order their minis. A good stop to get that sugar craving gone!

Here’s a rare sighting: no line at Mike’s Pastry on a Monday mid-morning. I practically floated through the door, but come the weekend that is not the case. The line is out the door, down the sidewalk and around the corner with tourists, locals, and cannoli devotees alike. I went with the classic cannoli, no chocolate chips, no frills, just pure ricotta glory. The shell was crisp and golden, the filling smooth, lightly sweet, and piled in generously. It’s the kind of treat that makes you pause mid-bite and silently vow to come back for another. Mike’s delivers a dessert that’s worth every minute but I don’t think I would ever stand on a huge line just to have one. You have to do it while in Boston though! Also I did love the presentation in the pretty blue box!

Oakleaf Cakes did an AMAZING job on the cupcakes I ordered for my building's Earth Day event! The staff is incredible to work with and great with their communication. They really took my vision and brought it to life! The cupcakes not only tasted delicious, but they looked unreal. All of my office tenants thought they were real plants... that is how spot on they were. The delivery was seamless and my order arrived exactly when they told me it would. Solid bakery and coffee shop to stop by! Typically seating is hard to grab- small place and full of students doing work- but would recommend grabbing a pastry to-go. The toffee cashew cookie had great flavor, a little underbaked but overall would come back and try another yummy treat!

Absolutely loved the cake and cupcakes we had made for my sister’s baby shower. We had an almond cake with blueberry buttercream in between and it tasted amazing. Our cupcakes were assorted flavors but each one was just as good as the other. Beautifully done and will continue to choose them for every party!

Lolly’s Bakery: A Morning of Pan Dulce It was 6:30am sharp when the doors of Lolly’s Bakery swung open full of promise. I was there on a mission, as I often am, to gather conchas for the hardworking construction crew I call my second family. But that morning… something magical happened. Within five minutes, twelve souls swept through the door, drawn in like moths to a sweet, warm flame. The smell of freshly baked conchas, soft, fluffy, perfectly sugared wrapped around us all like a lover’s embrace. This wasn’t just breakfast, it was a moment. A ritual and I was just grateful to be part of the scene.

Their Latin style breads are unreal, I have been coming here for years and they do not disappoint. I never have ordered any cakes from them and I regret not having done it earlier. Their cakes are amazing, from tres leches to your regular cakes to flan style was incredible. They decorated it the way we asked for our kids 1st communion. I couldn’t be happier with the way it came out and trust me it was a hit at the party we had 2 and we almost ran out of both. You will not be disappointed we are ordering from them from now on. Great selection of Mexican, Central American, and South American baked goods. The front staff is not so knowledgeable about the names of the baked goods or where their from but the bakers are. From my two visits there, they only spoke Spanish but there may be someone who speaks English. The baked goods are fresh and you can just grab whatever you want and place it in a bag then pay with cash or cards. They also make cakes, fruit yogurt cups, flan, and tres leches cakes. I placed an order for my daughter's birthday for 48 Churros, 10 Cortadillos, 8 white Conchas, 4 pink Conchas and it came out to about $55. They were punctual with the pick up time and had it all boxed up and ready to go! Will do business with again in the future!

i think athan’s is lovely — it’s one of those places you visit because of nostalgia and the need to pacify a craving for some semblance of home. it’s your grandmother’s cookies, it’s the pastries your neighbours bring for every holiday where gift giving is warranted. it’s personal and lovely, and it doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. much could be said about upkeep or service but you come to athan’s for the food, and if you’re coming for something else, then you’re fooling yourself.

Great spot for anyone seeking traditional Mediterranean and European pastries and some of the city's best Baklava. Brookline has a lot of ethnic bakeries and Athan’s is among the local’s favorites. With its classic wooden interior and relatively large seating area, it offers a comforting atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful morning treat. During my recent visit, I was immediately greeted by the attentive staff, who guided me through their variety of Baklava. I got one of each and these bite-sized Baklava pieces were amazing – achieving the ideal balance of density and flakiness, with nutty fillings that were simply sublime. Among these, my favorites were the chocolate walnut and almond varieties. Their cake selection didn't disappoint either. The Napoleon puff pastry was delightful – light, airy, and spongy – while the Amendoa's delicate vanilla sponge and almond flavor was a pleasure. An unexpected highlight was the ham and cheese croissant, served warm from the oven, with enticing cheese crisps at its edges. Overall, a great bakery that serves amazing traditional pastries. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their cake and cookie offerings.

Of all the bakeries in the North End, this place is truly underrated and hidden gem. It gives the classic old school Italian vibe, and the staffs are super nice. Most importantly, the cannoli is freshly filled - you can feel the cold milky cream in the crunchy shell. Highly recommend!

Another North End Food Tour stop with Bobby that was so good! The pizza is excellent! We didn't try a calzone, but heard that they were fabulous! The pastries are delicious and the staff is so kind!

Their cannolis are freshly made while you wait and probably some of the best I’ve had in Boston. The almond cookies are amazing as well. The place looks unassuming but it’s excellent and great way to avoid the tourists.

This was, in fact, the best cannoli I’ve ever had. I’m no expert but the cannolis were filled to order and the filling was so light and not overly sweet and tasted so fresh. I’d wave to the crowd at Mike’s and walk a block and a half to Parziale’s instead.

We stopped into this gem while walking around the North End. There were lines out the door at Mike's and Bova. But not here. We definitely were the beneficiaries of this!! We walked in and it felt like a traditional, old-time bakery. The people working there were really nice, friendly and professional too! We ordered some cookies and decided to try their filled to order cannoli. The cannoli was GREAT! I'd definitely recommend skipping the lines at the touristy places to try Parziale's cannoli! Wonderful little Asian bakery! I popped by Japonaise Bakery & Cafe to grab a few baked goodies for my friends and I, and we were all thoroughly impressed by everything here -- the classics (e.g., red bean bun, melon bun) were all delicious, but it was also really fun to try out a few of their specialty items (e.g., strawberry cream bun, black sesame melon bun). Every item featured soft, pillowy bread, and a generous serving of the filling. The filling was always the perfect level of sweetness (i.e., not overly sweet), although the strawberry cream bun did feel a bit more decadent / sweet compared to the other items. I also appreciated the staff's attention to detail and commitment to quality; their red bean buns were slightly overbaked, so they offered me those pastries for free. There isn't any seating available inside, but the shop is still quite cute, and there's a small covered patio a few blocks away that you can sit at.

I couldn’t recommend coming here more. I’ve been to this bakery a few times and their pastries are beautiful, fun, delicious and take me back to Japan. I couldn’t decide which filling I wanted and commented about how I love them all! That’s when an employee in the bakery kindly offered me a new bakery item to try (item in first picture). I was so surprised at the kind gesture that I felt inspired to write a review.

The pastries and food from this cafe are absolutely amazing, not only are they super tasty, they are also incredibly cute! One of my favorite items they have is a Totoro cream pastry that can have a number of different types of filling. Personally, I got the chocolate one and loved it! They also have a discount pastry section for day old pastries which are still super tasty. Their onigiri are also very good, I highly recommend the spicy tuna flavor.

I absolutely love the place. Although I don't come as often as I'd like. The staff is friendly and polite and will answer all your questions with a smile and ive never not seens the owner there. Everything is good here. Even the stuff I haven't tried whish at this point are the sandos. They even have a day old section where good have been discounted. I highly recommend the curry pan, raspberry cheese Danish, and any flavor totoro pan. They come in 5 flavors. Cream, chocolate, match, yuzu, and I forget the last. As good if not better than the patisseries i went to in Japan. Do yourself a favor and stop in the next time you're in town. You won't regret it.

Finally got to cross off a long-standing bucket list item: crepe cake—and I’m so glad I did it here. I tried the ube flavor, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Beautiful layers of delicate crepes with just the right amount of cream in between, and that earthy-sweet ube flavor that’s both unique and comforting. It’s a dessert that feels light, but still delivers that luxurious, melt-in-your-mouth richness. Just a heads-up for first-timers: the crepe cakes are sold frozen, so you need to give them time to thaw. It’s worth the wait. Once it’s ready, the texture and flavor really shine through. Bao Bao Bakery has a huge menu—everything from buns and pastries to bubble tea and savory snacks. But for me, the crepe cake was the standout. It’s not something you find often, and they do a great job with it. If you’ve never tried crepe cake before, or if ube is one of your go-to flavors, this is definitely worth checking out. Sweet, elegant, and a little different from your typical bakery desserts. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors next time.

**Review: Bao Bao Bakery in Chinatown, Boston** I recently visited Bao Bao Bakery in Chinatown, Boston, and had a mixed but ultimately positive experience. While the staff wasn't particularly great, the quality of the bubble teas more than made up for it. We tried a few different flavors, and each one was really good and reasonably priced. In addition to the bubble teas, we enjoyed some delicious pastries. The variety and taste were impressive, making it a spot worth returning to. The bakery also has a nice sitting area inside, which made our visit comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, despite the service, the tasty treats and beverages at Bao Bao Bakery make it a place I'll definitely visit again.

I ordered some buns off uber eats and these were the most disappointing buns i have ever eaten. I grew up eating chinese bakery pastries so i know what to expect. The pork bun was filled with 98% air and 2% meat. Never in my life have I been skimped out this bad to the point it made me mad.

I bought some mini mooncakes here for the mid-autumn festival. They had a lot of options. I got lotus paste, red bean, and green tea. Overall, the mooncakes were fine. Nothing super amazing but they hit the spot. I really liked the green tea one. It had a lot of flavor. I also had lychee green tea boba because of a coupon I received from an event a while back. It was good. Nothing amazing, just lychee boba. I might come back to try their other pastries just to see what the hype is all about.

It’s wonderful to watch the bakers at work and see everything being prepared fresh throughout the day. The transparency really shows their commitment to quality. Beyond the excellent pastries, they also serve great salads and sandwiches. I highly recommend the egg salad sandwich - it was perfectly seasoned and fresh. But whatever you do, don’t miss the spinach börek! It’s absolutely outstanding and a must-try. The staff deserves special mention for their friendly and attentive service. Everyone was helpful and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re looking for your morning coffee, a quick lunch, or fresh pastries, this place delivers on all fronts. Bakey was incredible! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it easy to have a conversation and enjoy your time there. We had a Latte and an Americano—both were excellent and did not disappoint. For food, we tried the Chocolate Babka (highly recommend it!), the Cheese Stick (small but delicious), the Goat Cheese Croissant (light with great flavor), and the Salmon Bagel Sandwich—a must-have! The bagel was perfectly light and not overly chewy like most others. Overall, an amazing experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Discovering Iggy's Bread was a delightful surprise. Initially familiar with their baguettes from grocery stores, I recently took a visit to their store, which doubled as a manufacturing facility. The space was charming and inviting, with everything priced quite reasonably. I got a few of their sandwiches and pastries. Both the salmon bagel sandwich and the ham & egg sandwich were enjoyable. Their buns and bagels leaned more towards chewy side, but I liked them nonetheless. The pastries, however, were much better than I expected. Each one boasted a perfect level of flakiness and crispness, with the pecan sticky bun being my favorite. Unlike the typical sticky buns I've tasted around the city, this one had a unique, croissant-like base that made it exceptionally memorable.

The Cheese Pizza ($4) was a good price for the size. The crust was very crunchy, and the sauce wasn’t anything special but hit the spot (hard to go wrong with pizza). The workers were a bit unwelcoming/curt, though.

The best bakery (boulangerie like) I have ever had. Sour dough was a truly new experience. The sourdough dough was covered with thin crispy crust that breaks pleasantly after a bite and soft, moist and chewy inside perfectly blends together.

Definitely some of the best bread you can get. Their pastries are good, especially the sticky buns and their croissants. Their loaves, especially when fresh, taste incredible. Also recommended are their bread crumbs, which you can use for salads, for crispy outside layer for roasted vegetables, or whatever you want.

Adorable little shop. They have a box of day old items which is fun. The banana cookies weren’t my fav but the raspberry pastry I got for my friend was, she tells me, delicious. There is a small step to get in, and it is a little crowded, but there’s seating as well if you want to stay, and parking out front on the street.

If you're ever in Dorchester, stop in to this place! I got a tip that the Irish Breakfast roll was good, and it was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. No question. I got a tip to get it with butter, ketchup, and brown sauce, and that was the move. It was the best. The meat, bread, all of it. I got the small, and it hit the spot. The cinnamon rolls were excellent, too. I will look for any excuse to come back.

Portions are pretty big. Staff is soooo kind and attentive. When busy there’s an hour limit on seats! Desserts wise cheesecake is awesome. The other biscotti are better than the anise biscotti. Eclair was huge

I came here yesterday for dessert with my friends! We got cappuccinos, chocolate cheesecake, canoli, tiramisu, and strawberry cheesecake! We enjoyed our desserts I definitely recommend that you come here for dessert you won’t be disappointed!

The food was delicious. I got a fruit tart and my friend got the chocolate mousse cake and it was very good. Staff was nice and we found a table, the place has a nice atmosphere. It has a terrible women’s bathroom. Incredibly uncomfortable experience and the toilet was flooded.

Nice place, right next to Mike’s pastry. Cash only. I ordered a Cappuccino to go. The coffee was good. The staff was nice. Definitely to be tried once again.

There are places you visit by chance, and others you feel you were meant to find. South End Buttery belongs to the latter. From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn’t just a place to have breakfast. I ordered the eggs Benedict, which were perfectly made, and a cup of coffee with a balanced, comforting flavor… but more than the taste, it felt affectionate. Why “affectionate”? Because that’s exactly how I felt from the very beginning: welcomed, cared for, at home. Three people truly shaped my experience: Valentina, who kindly welcomed and guided me to my seat; Vanessa, my lovely and attentive server; and the manager, whom I briefly met but immediately recognized as the heart behind the outstanding team. It’s not about who was kinder—it’s clear that someone here knows how to choose exceptional people. The place itself is beautiful—classic, well-kept, with a radiant energy. I didn’t just feed my body; I fed my soul. I left feeling grateful, uplifted, and inspired. I’m happy to be in Boston, but this place… I will return. Rarely have I left a spot with such a strong desire to come back.

A beautiful street bistro in the heart of the South End. The cafe is so picturesque and the food is excellent. Our waiter was very helpful and more about him later. Only reason for 4⭐️on service was due to the hostess, not our waiter, Ivan. We tried to understand what the seating policy was but couldn’t get a solid answer from the hostess. We asked how long would it take to be seated and she said an hour and if we could be added to the list. She said there is no wait list?!? So should we try to reserve online? She said they’re full but we saw some spots open for inside. There were 3 of us who attempted individually to get a coherent answer but failed. So we just waited outside and Ivan, our waiter asked how many and if we could sit outside, which we did.

such good food and atmosphere. the brussel sprouts and truffle fries were amazing. ask for all the sauces with it they were so good. they had such fun drinks and the espresso martini was one of the best in Boston

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and can confidently say that it’s gone downhill. Food has always been good but the service is lacking. I was there this past Saturday for breakfast and my order arrived incorrect. I sat at the table right by the bar and even with 5+ employees close by, it was still hard to get their attention. I ordered the torta with sausage and it didn’t originally come with it. When I finally talked to our server, he was able to bring out a side of sausage fairly quickly. I’d noticed a small hair on the plate and it took a while for us to be checked on so I could get a replacement. When I talked to the server to let him know, he was pretty dismissive and I decided that I didn’t need the side of sausage since I could tell they were just going to change the plate then provide me with a new order. The servers and hostesses by the door were very chatty with each other and I saw a lot of PDA. It reminded me of high school. The South End Buttery was one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places in Boston but I unfortunately will not be returning.

We had a great brunch on Sunday at south end buttery. I got the huevos rancheros and my husband got the burger. I got an iced matcha latte which was great! For entrees I was between the eggs Benedict and the huevos rancheros. The server recommended both. Food was good but not phenomenal. It was yummy but not very noteworthy or really memorable. I’m not sure why. I don’t have specific feedback but it just wasn’t mind blowing for a 5 star review.

Went with a friend for breakfast on Sunday, they asked if I had a reservation, but luckily we went early enough to be seated. We got the union square breakfast and the torta rancheros & both were very clean, simple, fresh. What really stood out was the atmosphere and the interior, the ambience was definitely giving traditional Boston. Can’t believe I stumbled on this gem.

Had a great experience at Southend Buttery! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was fresh and delicious. The coffee was excellent too. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Definitely coming back!

This was our first stop while visiting Boston for work, and it certainly wasn't our last! I ordered a matcha with a goat cheese scrambled eggs for breakfast. Our service was fast, and the food was excellent. I love how the decor is different in every location that you visit!

Ran a quick google search to find the top most favorite item on the menu and its none other than their Lamb Meatball and Labneh Shakshuka. Comes with 3 bread and is very fulfilling. Try it out, you’ll be a fan I guarantee.

Stepped off the plane and went directly to Tatte Bakery & Cafe to refuel my body. Not disappointed at all! Maneesh was my barista (and I’m so sorry if I misspell your name), and he was such a delight. A great representation for the cafe. I’m in town all week and I WILL be back again. 💜

Left one star pending a 2nd visit. My first fantastic!!!! The almond croissant t were on point, and I know, I'm expert. The place was very euro I serious design with a bit of american farmhouse feel to it. Love it! Will be back!

The new iced tea coolers aren’t great, unless you're specifically looking for overly sweet, pre-made tea that leaves you feeling uneasy in the chest. Probably my worst experience at Tatte, even worse than the time I was served oat milk instead of whole milk, which was an honest mistake on both sides. Usually, Tatte is good, but this one really missed the mark. — Date: July 5th Tatte, why the hate? 🥲 I genuinely love the taste, but let’s be real, it’s spinach corn soup with poached eggs, not shakshuka.

Very quick service, best place to grab a quick bite thats always consistent! The chicken veg soup is pretty good, a little lacking in flavor, and their pastries are always consistently great! Definitely my preferred cafe chain around Boston, but be prepared to fight for a seat for most times of the day!

Nice place to use free internet with yummy sweets and drinks. Free cold water was available. But Fresh juice was in bottle. Not freshly squeezed daily I think. It was difficult to find tables. Table was dirty with bread crumbs and I ask them to clean. No one cleaned. So I had to clean myself. Coffee was good cinnamon bread was yummy.

I felt the place was a little over rated. The breakfast was quite fresh. However the cakes and savouries weren’t. It’s a chain all over Boston and could find a tatte at every nook and corner.

The place can get pretty packed, so you may have trouble getting a table. Other than that, I had a great experience. The breakfast croissant was delicious and every ingredient tasted so fresh. The coffee is really nice too. Nice place to have breakfast.

I get to go orders mostly. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches are good. Sandwiches are filling. One time I asked for no tomato on the sandwich because of a allergy. Once I picked up the order and got home. There was tomato on the sandwich. Had to throw it away! Now I don't order food from here just drinks if anything.

The donuts here appear amazing (10/10 on looks), however the flavors just aren't there. A filled donut that was supposed to be vanilla tasted like cream with no actual vanilla flavor. Red velvet tasted dense like a cake but with no actual flavor to it. Coffee donut was good overall but tasted like a maple donut from Dunkin - it didn't actually taste like coffee at all (which I had been excited about the most). Only one that had flavor worth it's price tag was coconut which was flaky dough and flavorful. If this store put nearly as much effort into the taste as they do the presentation, these would be incredible. cross-posted on yelp.

This is a review of their drip coffee only. It was way too strong and bitter, like they used an Italian roast with a wrong measurement of beans to make the brew. The donuts looked great but I didn’t indulge. So if you like drip or pour over coffee, Bloc across the street is a better option IMO.

May 2024: The donuts were really good overall, but my favorite was the maple-flavored one. However, the French toast was just alright; it was quite thick and dry inside. Nonetheless, the maple one really hit the spot. The texture was perfectly moistened with the right amount of glaze and had many profiles of sweetness. Been wanting to come here for years and finally got the chance to. Had a malt chocolate frosted donut and it was delicious, still soft and not too sweet.

we order donuts here at least once a month. it’s become a family ritual or tradition especially on the weekends. it’s nice because they have vegan options and the donuts are really yummy. it’s tricky to find yummy vegan donuts and they make it feel easy. especially when they have so many flavors and they’re always coming out with new ones. they also have coffee and different beverage options. i went inside for the first time and it’s super cute , clean and spacious. there’s a bathroom . they also have high chairs for the babies. which is super convenient. the employees are really kind. they’re pretty good at holding your order until the end of the day. you can also order delivery online and it won’t break the bank.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience Union Square Assembly shop today. I felt completely mistreated, ignored, and even discriminated against by staff. When I approached the counter to order doughnuts, the staff member ignored my presence, said nothing to me, and allowed customers behind me to be served first without any explanation. The doughnuts are behind glass, so I could not serve myself it is the staff’s role to assist me. Yet instead of acknowledging or helping me, I was treated as if I wasn’t even there. When I spoke up about being skipped, instead of apologizing or explaining, the staff became upset with me for asserting my right as a paying customer to be served fairly. On top of this, staff tried to shame me for not opening the door for another customer who was exiting the establishment. It is not my role or responsibility as a customer to do staff duties such as opening doors—it is staff’s responsibility to provide customer service. What is most concerning is that when I calmly expressed these issues, two staff members (Michael and his co-worker) threatened to call the police on me. This was not only unnecessary but also felt like an intimidation tactic meant to silence me, which left me deeply uncomfortable. No customer should ever be ignored, skipped, shamed, or threatened simply for expecting basic respect and fair service. I hope management takes this matter seriously and trains staff to treat all customers equally, with dignity and professionalism.

Freaking delicious donuts! 🍩 The oatmeal cream one has like a soft light cream cheese whipped kind cream kind of filing with a spice…. not sure what but it tastes like magic. The dough is airy and soft and overall the donut is not too sweet.

I used to frequent Hi Rise when it was on Mass Ave pre-pandemic. I loved the Thai iced tea and blueberry scone. 5+ years later, I finally made my way over to the Huron village location, and I'll definitely be back soon! The Thai iced tea was just as I remembered -- very aromatic and perfectly sweet. I'd come back just for this unique and delicious drink. Unfortunately they didn't have the blueberry scone (I wasn't expecting it, since it said it was sold out on the website). We tried the small chocolate fallen cake ($10) which I thought was a bit too sweet. We also got the ham, butter, and Swiss lunchie ($8), which is a very thin and long sandwich. It was delicious! The bread has a slight crisp on the outside, and is wonderfully chewy. The filling to bread ratio is pretty great. I'd get this again -- very satisfying. There are also a lot of fruit preserves and packaged cookies that look really good and would make good gifts. I'll be back!

I’ve been to this local café a few times and really liked it. The prices are a bit high, but I visited because of its location. Recently, I saw mice in the café—not just one, but three. It felt like their playground. I couldn’t enjoy my coffee and felt very uncomfortable. Even in Boston, where mice are common, this was the worst I’ve seen. The staff knows about the problem but isn’t doing anything. I don’t think I’ll visit again for a while. I hope they fix this soon.

Hi Rise - more like High Price. This is a sandwich/salad cafe that charges absurdly high prices and offers small portions. $6 to add chicken on a salad and THIS is what you add, two small diced up tenders? Guys - the world’s gotten expensive, and it’s okay to increase prices to some extent. But you can’t also shrink your product at the same time. That’s called greed.

The cookies🍪 are great , I happen to get the sugar cookies .They were so good . I also bought the lemon cake 🎂 phenomenal. I had a sample of the “ ginger snaps “ delicious; but they were sold out ! I meet them @ the Copley farmers market . I have added the pictures below . The staff were super informative and helpful .

I highly recommend NOT coming here. Only paper cups? As if the non organic coffee that's heavily sprayed is not bad enough I have to drink it out of a cup lined with polyethylene??? No thanks!!! Asking me TWICE if my dog is a service dog. Harassment is part of your service? Ridiculous!!!

Lovely little bakery in west Cambridge on the way to alewife. Came in for a quick coffee and snack and loved the selection of sandwiches, breads, and the wine/champagne on offer. Seemed very busy for a Tuesday afternoon, which made our time there fun. Hope to come back again soon !

Grabbed a bagel and croissant to go but the space is beautiful and would be great for a group meal or for some work. The croissant was buttery and had a super clean flavour. The bagel was also tasty. Maybe sourdough? If not then just well fermented. Both were a little too dense and bready but still great.

Came here based upon a recommendation and was pretty disappointed. Crazy high prices - our toasted bagel with cream cheese was just under $6!! The jalapeno bagel was tasty, light, fluffy, but small given the price. Atmosphere was okay - typical urban industrial look, but nothing special. Service was friendly. Geared to take money from young urban professionals.

Visit us for exceptional bread and pastries, and you can expect a top-tier experience. I cannot confirm the quality of the ice cream at this time, but it is likely to meet a comparable standard.

Best PSL I've ever had. Not too sweet, great flavor. Will drive out of my way to get this again. Good breakfast sandwiches but the tempeh bacon tasted like nothing more than sliced tempeh. I thought it would have been flavored and/or roasted in some way to make it crispy and more exciting. Still 5 stars though bc of that latte!

Can’t say enough good things about Forge. Their sourdough bagels are hands down the best in the state, and beyond, and the service is always patient and kind. The lattes and iced coffee are delicious, and the pastries are amazing. Ham & cheese croissant and sticky bun are not to be missed! You just cannot go wrong here.

Can’t comment on food because we left after being treated poorly. We are from out of town and had read some good reviews. Went there and got in line. They have a little side shop where the barn door was partially opened. We were looking (not going) in because we were curious. An employee came over and rudely said “this is not open to customers” and slammed the sliding door in my husband’s face. My family quickly turned around and walked a few more blocks to the Starbucks where the customer service was amazing!

Cozy and casual cafe with excellent coffees. Baked treats and ice cream also offered. Large seating area, no outside seating. Service can be slow as the staff often chit chats behind the counter.

Luv luv luv!!! Fantastic neighborhood café!!!! The hazelnut chocolate entremets were absolutely divine... I can’t stop thinking about them. The tarte citron was perfect, with a balanced blend of sweetness and tanginess, and the crisp pastry was spot on. The café au lait was delicious, rich, and creamy. The coffee éclairs were decent but could use a stronger coffee flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return! :))) Returned to try the pecan tart and croissants this week. The pecan tart had a nut butter filling that was so savory and delicious, croissants perfectly buttery and crisp. What can I say... Collette bakery never disappoints~!

You can’t go wrong with Collette Bakery. Nothing like being able to pick up some freshly baked bread from a small local business. The Viennois is my absolute favorite. The service is always incredible as well, you are always welcomed with love and a smile. Highly recommend this delicious bakery if you are in the area. Don’t let the long lines scare you away.

Quaint neighborhood bakery! They had a pretty long line when I got there, but it moved fast. They have a variety of treats from loaves of bread to croissants to tarts. I got this pecan chocolate bread which tasted like it had Nutella inside! I’m not the biggest fan of that type of bread (versus the croissant bread), but it was still quite flaky and fun. It could have been a smidge warmer, though.

We’ve been coming to this bakery for over two years now, and it has never disappointed! Their pastries and cakes are absolutely incredible — everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The croissants are next-level: perfectly flaky, buttery, and truly some of the best we’ve ever had. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has such a warm, cozy vibe that it’s a joy to visit every time. The only downside? They’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays — and somehow those are exactly the days when we crave their treats the most

Lovely little bakery! Solid pain au chocolats, good airy layers in the bite, soft and yummy, but not a crispy crackly outer layer (maybe they were when they first came out of oven?). Kouign amann has good flavour but also was more dense in texture than I’d hoped. Chouquettes (pictured) are out of this world! Perfectly sweet with a hint of saltiness, egg-iness. Bought more to go after eating in store. Staff at the bakery are friendly and cheery. They do serve drinks, coffee and more, but my impression is that it’s more about the pastries and baked goods and less about the drinks here. Definitely would return! Will be dreaming about the chouquettes.

I walked in expecting a bakery and I left believing I’d discovered a secret French outpost where butter lives unhindered and carbs wear tiny berets. The croissant cracked under my first bite like it was confessing its flakiness. The line was moving briskly and the aroma could have its own Instagram account. The only problem: I wanted to order everything in sight, but my stomach has limits. Tips: - Get there early: the best stuff seems to vanish fast. - The tarts were balanced with a blend of sweetness and tanginess. - It’s not bargain-basement, but you’re paying for butter-rich deliciousness, French style. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys pastries, butter, flaky textures, or simply wants to feel like they took a mini trip to Paris without a passport.

Chaotic and a bit pricey but worth it for the delicious food! I visited a few months ago, and the line to order was wrapped around the store. Seating is limited, so be prepared to either wait or order takeout. In fact, my friends and I were seated at one of the long tables, and another customer who'd just joined the back of the line asked us if her group could take our seats after they ordered, even though we were clearly not yet finished with our food! I was admittedly taken aback. Of course this isn't any fault of the staff, more of a testament of how crowded it gets here and how you have to either come early or be patient. The staff were also weaving in and out of the crowd to reach the fridges/storage along the walls, which contributed to the chaotic atmosphere; if they could find space to move those to back of house/out of the dining area, that would definitely make it feel less crowded and cramped. One of our dishes took longer to arrive than the others, but the staff were very apologetic about it, and overall service was very friendly despite the rush. The pastries and drinks are DELICIOUS! I honestly couldn't tell that any of the pastries were gluten-free. My gripe with most ube foods is that the ube flavor isn't strong enough, but I could taste the ube in both the brownie (super dense and fudgy) and the ube-matcha latte (strong matcha flavor too!). The bibingka had a nice glutinous, chewy texture and sweet (but not too sweet!) coconut flavor. MASARAP!

Verveine is a gem for celiac and gluten free eaters! The food is decadent and delicious. The options are unique compared to the usual gluten free fare, however, not so unique that there are too many competing flavors or would be out of the scope of what I would be looking for. The portion size is good and doesn’t feel like the typical smaller gluten free portion. Beyond the food the service is spectacular! I order delivery as my hotel was on the other side of the Charles and they ran out of stock in one of the items I ordered and without any questions they refunded that item and gave me something else similar at no cost. A+ service and you have my gratitude. Oh and I mentioned that even though it’s a chilly November morning all my items arrived warm?! I hope I have another work trip or other reason to return to Boston so I can come back here again!

Worth the hype! Food is excellent and great service too! I’m no celiac and everything tasted, dare I say, better than most of the pastries I’ve had in other local bakeries. The Chilli Jam and Egg Buscuit was amazing, so was the Banana Bread!

I’m a frequent diner at Verveine as it’s obviously the best place (gf or not) in all of Boston. I came here today on a Sunday, the line was looooong (45 minutes long) and the place was the most packed I’ve ever seen it! When our food came out, we were missing a sandwich. I ordered 2 of the same sandwich but they must have only heard 1. Anyway, someone came our table to explain the situation and have us order a new one, apologized, and said they would rush the order. she then gave us a free cookie for the trouble (unnecessary as it really was NO trouble but very much accepted and appreciated). SO nice and sweet when they were SLAMMED. Food was amazing per usual, then someone next to us knocked over our coffee while they were getting up. A woman (she has dark hair and every time I’m here I see her working so hard on the floor) immediately came over, insisted on cleaning it up, and insisted we get a new coffee. She was so so so sweet, kind, and helpful. This is all to say, yes the food is bomb obviously, but the customer service was amazingly fabulous during an especially busy time. I was very impressed and happy and big shoutout to the woman who is always working hard on the floor, sorry I don’t know her name. :) (photo of my chicken bacon ranch pita)

This cafe is 100% gluten free and I definitely did not believe my eyes! Adorable French style patisseries, brioches, baguettes, cinnamon rolls, scones… the list of their delicacies goes on. Each one looks and tastes more appealing than the last. My friend got their rice congee for breakfast and I chose a hot honey biscuit, caramel cinnamon roll, and a scallion and cheese scone and I couldn’t believe how stretchy and flakey their gluten free goodies were. 1000/10 I will be returning to Boston again for the sole purpose of coming back here!!

Delicious food, sat out on a warm fall morning! We stopped in for breakfast Wednesday morning. Chai was the perfect temperature! I got the spicy jam biscuit sandwich - the biscuit must have been gluten free, but it tasted super regular. The congee is also really good. The ube brownie was delicious, and the corn cookie was good to me, but my friend really didn’t like it.

We had heard about this place on TV. It is a gluten free bakery although there is not much signage about it. We enjoyed a few pastries to share and a pesto baguette. It’s a very nice cafe with tasty food!

We got our wedding cake here because this place means a lot to me growing with this bakery near my house. So of course my wedding cake would be from Mays. This cake was not just beautiful, it was so delicious. I am so happy I got my wedding cake here. 10/10

Best cake around! As close to Eldo’s (that closed) as possible. Worth the drive. I took the cake up to Maine for a celebration and the party loved it!

Friendly staff and quick service. I’ve been going here for the past 3-4 years and they have never failed me. They were able to make my order the day after I called in. My go-to for ordering birthday cakes are the Durian 1/2 sheet cake and the signature Mango Mousse cake. The cakes here are never too sweet just the way I enjoy my cakes. Since I didn’t want any writing on my cake they decorated with delicious fruits which was awesome.

Absolutely beautiful cake ! So happy with the outcome. Called in and picked up within 24 hours. Ladies at the counter were so kind and welcoming. Also picked up a few egg tarts and fried sticky rice, boyfriend devoured before I could take a picture ☺️ will be returning for future occasions !

This is a must go to family owned local bakery! This is the spot I always go to for pastries and iced coffee milk tea! The shrimp noodles sell out fast here. This spot makes the freshest fruit cake and guarantee that it’ll be loved! The cakes are baked so fresh, lightly sweetened and so soft with every bite! Love, love, love it here! They also show support to local community based organizations, too!

Love their cakes, especially mango mouse! Fluffy sponge cake, light cream with just enough sweetness but not overly diabetic sugarly sweet. And their rice cake is such a filling breakfast/brunch.

Got a tiramisu donut! The cream and outside were delicious. It did taste like there was a small uncooked spot in the middle of the donut though.

I got their Blackbird breakfast sandwich and they forgot my bacon. My main issue is that this subpar sandwich is overpriced at $10. You barely taste the donut since it’s just one donut cut in half(whereas I believe it would be better if they did two donuts instead). Their donuts alone are $3+ which I believe are also overpriced for a donut that doesn’t have anything different happening with it.

Constantly messing up orders with no accountability. My wife has a dairy allergy and any time I order I’m rolling the dice on whether or not they’ll follow the order or just toss whatever they feel like into the box. I’ve gotten donuts that are completely missing fillings. They don’t post the shop’s phone number anywhere so you can’t call and report a mistake. You have to email and request a refund and get a response a week later.

Fantastic breakfast sandwiches made fast and fresh to order. Always ready in 10mins or less. Never tried the donuts. Parking in Harvard is sparse but available if you know how to navigate all the 1-way streets so plan to come on foot or by public transit. It’s inside the Harvard Smith Center.

They didn't have Boston Cream Pie but they had many other pastries and the sticky buns were great. They also had plenty of other food like salad and sandwiches which were good as well. They also had a chocolate chip cookie which was good but not the best. Overall I would recommend this place.

I got a takeout salmon salad. Very pricey for what I got at about $16. Th Boston cream slice was excellent though.

Got a latte, Midnight Chocolate Cake, and Banana Bread. Quite mediocre in taste. Cake and banana bread felt like they were taken out of a generic Costco/Walmart shelf (too sweet, too generic in taste/texture). Latte was made with almond milk but quite sweet. Would only recommend if you need indoor/outdoor seat while near South End. Otherwise, for food/drinks, would look elsewhere.

We’ve been fans of Joanne and Flour bakery for years. We live in NYC and only get to Boston once in awhile. We’ve been lucky to visit Boston a few times the last 3 months visiting colleges. Everything is wonderful! I finally remembered to order in advance the Midnight cake, absolutely the best! And also we got lucky to finally try her pop tarts, fabulous too! A quick mention, the Boston cream cake, coconut cream and chocolate cream pies are also wonderful! Thanks again!

We visited Bricco Salumeria & Pasta Shop as part of The Politically Incorrect North End Food Tour wit Antony, and it was one of my favorite stops of the day. This tucked-away shop is owned by Frank DePasquale, who has built a small empire of restaurants in Boston’s North End. What makes Bricco so special is that it still feels like a neighborhood spot while supplying freshly made pasta and bread for many of his other restaurants. Inside, the shelves were lined with beautiful handmade noodles, sauces, and Italian sandwiches ready to go. Antony explained how the DePasquale family wanted to keep authentic Italian food traditions alive by making everything fresh daily — and you can taste the difference. We tried a sfogliatelle pastry, its crisp, flaky layers filled with a sweet ricotta and orange-flavored filling. It was absolutely heavenly — light, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. Everything in the shop looked so tempting, I could have filled a suitcase just with their fresh pasta. Another fun fact: Tom Cruise has even dined next door at Bricco, which shows how beloved this spot is, even by celebrities. But to me, the real magic was the combination of authenticity, quality, and the feeling that you’ve discovered one of Boston’s best-kept secrets. If you love Italian food, Bricco Salumeria & Pasta Shop is a must-stop in the North End. Go for the pasta, stay for the pastries — and don’t be surprised if you find yourself planning your return trip before you even leave.

Bricco Panetteria is a true hidden gem. I’ve walked by it countless times without noticing, tucked away in an alley off Hanover Street. Today we followed the sign and found a small spot serving pizza al taglio—thin, focaccia-style pizza by the slice. We tried the zucchini and mozzarella, perfectly warmed and folded to eat on the go—fresh, light, and delicious. The breads looked amazing too, so I’ll be back for a loaf. Cash only and no tables—just great grab-and-go food.

A must visit in the North End area. Nice shop off the road in a beautiful, though easy to miss, alley and into a basement where magic happens. We tried that Focaccia bread and Sfogliatella. Sfogliatella was great - crispy outside and soft tasty filling. Focaccia was great as well. Enjoyed both. They are cash only, so make sure to keep some if you’re buying something from here. Definitely visit.

Literal definition of hole in the wall and a MUST for anyone stopping in the North End. You need to get their sfogliatella. A delicate, flaky, crunchy pastry with a creamy, mildly sweet, lightly citrus and cinnamon filling.

We just picked up some freshly sliced prosciutto here, and it was incredible—melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly aged, and full of rich flavor. You can taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite.

Honestly, I was disappointed. There weren’t many options, and the focaccia we bought wasn’t fresh, it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. I’ve had better bread from regular supermarket bakeries. Also, I noticed they handled bread and money without washing their hands, which didn’t feel very hygienic.

My mother bought a cake for my birthday and it was DELICIOUS! I love chocolate on chocolate cake and this was amazing. So rich and moist, this has to be my favorite cake in a long time. The inside is a blast from the past, from the old school number queue to the glass cases and the foot operated twine machine, it reminds me of the old bakeries you just don’t see anymore. There’s parking in the back if needed. The staff is friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

I’ve been meaning to stop by Lyndell’s after a friend of mine recommended I come here! I walked in and there was such a variety of baked goods to look and choose from. Staff were very welcoming and didn’t rush any customers to order. I got a raspberry pastry and 2 half moon cakes; one vanilla and one chocolate. They had a deal that day where it was BOGO free for the half moon cakes! Total came out to $6.75. The raspberry pastry was delicious! Soft, fluffy bread with some cinnamon with the tangy, sweetness from the raspberry jam and icing. Half moon cakes- both cakes were pretty good, not dry and not too sweet which was good because the icing on top of them were pretty sweet. It’s a considerable amount of frosting, so be warned if you cannot handle too much much sugar! All and all, I’d love to try more goodies from Lyndell’s! ^^

Clearly, this bakery is quite historic - and you can tell that from just walking by. Similarly, you can tell that this bakery makes quality products (and a wide variety) just from walking in the door. I had a few pastries my first visit here, and they were excellent. I will definitely coming back to try more of their wide selection of baked goods.

Such a good little local bakery. My favorite thing to get is the chocolate glazed donut. It's crunchy, but soft, not too sweet, just perfect. Pretty much every pastry I've tried has been great. The prices are mind blowingly cheap as well.

Amazing little grab and go bakery! The pies here are great, but don’t miss out on their pastries too! Their scones are genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had, with the right amount of mix-ins, flavor, everything! The staff is also really great, with the counter ladies being really great and truly caring about the pastries. Also love that they sell some of their discounted day-old pastries, it’s a true local gem!

Egg nog cream, peppermint, and apple crumble pies stole the show at Christmas this year! Service was great and the pickup couldn’t have been easier! 3 medium pies was perfect for our party of 10. Would recommend Petsi Pies to anyone in the area, will definitely be ordering again!

I’ve been ordering pies here for Thanksgiving the last three years, and it has always been a positive experience. The Take and Thaw Chocolate bourbon pecan is a fan favorite in my family. Extra props to the general manager Juliana for helping put some extra inventory in when these best sellers sold out over a week in advance this year-

For our wedding dessert, rather than traditional cake we wanted to share a local neighborhood favorite with our guests. Petsi Pies did not disappoint, friends and family are still raving about the adorable and tasty cutie sized pies. We had a mix of salted caramel apple, apple crumb, brown butter pecan, chocolate bourbon pecan, and the Mississippi mud (a crowd favorite). Julian did a great job answering questions, setting up a tasting, and making sure we had all the information we needed over email.

FEB. 2024 UPDATE Picked up some cutie pies this time, which were $4 each. The size is good if you want to try multiple flavors, but I feel like you get more bang for your buck if you pay $9 for a 5" pie instead. - Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Cutie Pie ($4): Very thick, rich, and chocolate forward (so much so that I didn't taste any of the pecan flavor). The texture of the filling was almost like that of an undercooked brownie. Wasn't bad but probably not something I would get again because of how heavy it was; I'm glad I only got a cutie pie because it would have been hard to finish more than this. - Mixed Berry Cutie Pie ($4): Mixed berry but I only tasted blueberries. Tasted like a classic pie. I liked the crumble. Overall, both pies were satisfying, but I enjoyed the brown butter pecan pie that I got last time more. FEB. 2024 I had Petsi Pies bookmarked for a while, and it happened to be across from where I was, so I decided that today was the day I would cross it off my list. I got in 20 minutes before closing, but there is no seating inside, so I would not have been able to dine in anyway. It was empty at this time, and most of the pastries on display were gone. The pie of the month (chocolate cream pie) sounded yummy, but I wasn't feeling chocolate at the time, so I went with the pecan pie. I actually wanted the chocolate bourbon pecan pie, which is one of the signatures according to the website, but I didn't realize there was also a brown butter pecan pie. Saying only "pecan pie" netted me the brown butter one, so learn from my blunder if you are also going for the chocolate bourbon. However, I don't think it is accurate to call this a blunder, as I really enjoyed the brown butter one. The candied pecans had a delicious, sticky chew. The pie shell was crispy and buttery. The inside was sweet and gooey; the texture reminded me of Hong Kong egg tarts. This flavor is definitely decadent enough to satisfy a sweet craving, so I was only able to eat half. $9 for this size was reasonable, considering a slice of pie at a restaurant usually costs $12+. Overall, I am glad I picked up a pie, and I am excited to try more in the future, including the chocolate bourbon pecan pie that I originally wanted.

We’ve been here a bunch of times as they have great vegan sandwich options. The ‘steak bomb’ sandwich is one of the best vegan sandwiches you can get around Boston. The rest are hit or miss. Some of the baked good are underwhelming which is why I’m only giving a 4

Are lunch here with a friend and it was a perfect place to catch up. I have a dairy allergy, so they made me a Monument sandwich with no cheese - it was a little overpowered by the tart cranberries and green apple. I'll try a different sandwich next time. The side of potatoes are delicious! I did get a vegan carrot cake cupcake and it was phenomenal 😍 staff is knowledgeable about their menu and had no problem navigating my allergy. Will be back!

I highly recommend this bakery to anyone in or around Jamaica Plain. Whether you’re local or just visiting, make sure to stop in—you’ll be glad you did!

We got a vegan wedding cake from Fiore's Bakery. Pros: The cake was very affordable, looked beautiful, and tasted amazing. Even our non-vegan guests commented on how good it was! We also loved that they offered gluten-free cupcakes for our guests with dietary restrictions. Cons: The ordering process was unfortunately quite disorganized. We received a call on the day of pickup asking what design we wanted, even though we had confirmed the details with an employee several months earlier. When we re-sent the design that had already been approved, the employee responded in a rude manner, and we felt the response was unnecessarily defensive. More particularly, the employee dismissed our concerns on the phone, continued to cut us off, and attempted to gaslight us into thinking that we caused the miscommunication (despite showing screenshots of our continual communication with our point of contact at the bakery about our design for over a year). While the end result was wonderful, the experience leading up to it was stressful. I’d recommend Fiore’s for their delicious vegan cakes, but would be cautious about using them for weddings, and suggest confirming design details multiple times to avoid any last-minute confusion.

When my son suggested coffee at his favorite local café, I was all in. I did not expect such a wonderful, cozy, warm experience like the one I had at Fiore’s! Aside from a variety of seating indoors, there was a wonderful backyard oasis, perfect for dining, chatting, or enjoying your book over a latte. I was also impressed with the menu, which featured something for the everyone: baked goods both sweet and savory, a huge array of gluten-free options, vegan and vegetarian choices, and whole meals for breakfast and lunch. I enjoyed an omelette and an iced coffee, not to mention my son and granddaughter’s outstanding company. I’ll return to Fiore’s again for sure.

Fell in love with this place! They give big portions of food for the price and the food is really great. Plus, they operate on an honorable mission to help rehabilitate formerly incarcerated people in the Boston area. Great place, can't wait to visit in the warmer months when the garden is up and running. The jerk chicken is superb and the french toast is super yummy for brunch.

The Nubian Bowl is amazing! The wait was a bit long but it was well worth it in the end. Great atmosphere, staff and food.

If only I lived or worked closer, I would be here every week! The Haley House has a positive, artsy vibe with an awesome mission. They're clearly a community-centered institution. The food is flavorful and pretty cheap compared to most of Boston, I was obsessed with my breakfast hash bowl smothered in harissa. Definitely worth a stop for any meal or one of their evening events!

I was in the Rox, this Bronx kid felt right at home. The Sandwich was very good. The slaw and Collards greens were on point. Good times in the Bean. They provide a good service to the community.

Newbury St location is a takeout only, we bought a cake for my daughter’s bd here and we were surprised how smooth it was, we ordered the Crepe Mille style. I’ve never had this kind of cake, wow the layers melt in your mouth … we bought the strawberry matcha and the crepes are made to perfection as they’re soft, moist and chewy and packed with a beautiful bag as well as a plastic knife. Amazing cake and experience… I definitely buy it again!!!!! I gave them 4 stars because of the customer service, they didn’t have a friendly attitude.

A Takeaway counter only! . If you’re buying a cake, which is ridiculously expensive, at least you should have a place to sit and enjoy the cake which does not exist in the shop. Currently a slice cost $16.05( including tax ) This is a multilayer crêpe cake. The cream of the cake is light. We got the Dubai chocolate version. They have a display of all the current variants of miles cake. . The packaging of the cake is great, probably the best and the only thing.

Walked in and liked the variety of cakes that were on display. Got an order of their passionfruit slice. Paid about $14.xx and was pretty disappointed. The cake itself is very eggy and that tends to dominate all the other flavors a passionfruit cake should essentially deliver. Every bite I took felt like I was eating a mousse made out of cooked eggs and cream with a subtle hint of tartness. Also the texture was pretty off. Nothing about it felt tropical/vibrant! Really expected a nice, zesty, punch, but well!!! Service and atmosphere is okay but it’s only takeout. Don’t think I will be going back.

I always make a stop by Lady M whenever I can! Their cakes aren’t too sweet and are of high quality. They offer both classic flavors that appeal to Asian tastes and fun, unique flavors. The environment is very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I got the taro mochi flavor and the strawberry pearl flavor, and both were delicious. My partner, who usually isn’t a fan of sweets, loved the Lady M cake slices! Will definitely stop by again.

Had the passion fruit slice. like a mouse texture made of crepes and cream which was light, so points for that !! Nothing special , a jelly like layer of passion fruit which was like a sheet of paper . Feels like a lot of the crème based cakes are the same with a different gelitan topping depending on flavour . Lady serving had 0 customer service, no where to eat but packaging was amazing I had food poisoning, pain and Bloating. Overall would not recommend please don’t fall for the hype but glad I tried it once I guess as was on the bucket list. The 2 stars are for the most packaging and the cleanliness. I

Got the passion fruit slice. Bad experience. Ended up with food poisoning after having it for some reason. There were some sort of layers that had formed in the spongy part of the cake. And it is not cheap.

Lady M Cake Boutique is a famous cake maker with many locations across the Northeast, with this location being located right on Newbury Street. The staff are quite friendly and accommodating, telling us which slices were available as letting us know about the non-cake options they had to eat. We got the Matcha bonbon crunches and a slice of the Dubai Chocolate Cake. The Matcha Crunch was pretty good, decent portion for the price, and had a nice flavor, though light on the matcha. The dubai chocolate cake was good, though small for the price, with the characteristic tastes of Dubai Chocolate fillings and the light and fluffy texture of the cake. It is a well made cake with a nice flavor.

I normally don’t do this but as I’ve been awaiting a phone and 10% refund for 2 1/2 months, I figure it’s time to shine the light on @ sweet tooth bakery. The 1st pic is the cake I ordered from Sweet tooth for my daughter’s college graduation party, pic # 2 is the cake I picked up on Saturday and Pic # 3 is aftermath on Sunday and was left without a cake for the party. I spoke to Dave on 8/13 after I’ve left several messages and emails as of 8/2 he was very dismissive and asked why it took so long for me to call them with issue, had to remind him that no one has responded to my phone call or emails. He also repeatedly kept telling me the pricing of the cake would’ve been different for a “tall cake” as I informed him, money was not the issue but the quality and design. He proceeded to tell me that they are not responsible for the cake after it leaves there facility, again not my issue. I did spent 30mins on the phone initially to ensure the cake would’ve been created as above and Jennifer ensured me it would as you can see from the pic above it was not even close, per Dave they are “unable to reproduce a cake found on google.” The baker should’ve informed me they he was unable to produce such cake but instead he told me that he would be able to make it as such s Dave, informed me that Jennifer would call me the following day and issue me a 10% refund and as of yet I have not received a call nor refund. Sweet tooth was one of my favorite bakeries however I am truly disappointed in them and have lost faith in their services!! I hope they’re able provide their staff and bakers with adequate customer service training so others do not go through this experience.
