Everything was very flavorful (perhaps a bit too much so with the desserts -- the flavors were a bit in your face, though definitely tasted good and I would give them another shot), and the atmosphere was great -- laid back and comfortable, which made it a great place to start the day!

Good customer service, good energy, kind and helpful. Plenty of seating and the color red throughout the shop added to a vibrant atmosphere. Although there was only one vegan option, coming from a city where bakeries don't offer vegan treats, I appreciated their offering. I loved the yummy vegan coconut vegan lemon butter cream cupcake. The coconut flakes in the vanilla  cupcake was a nice added texture. The cupcake was light and moist. The lemon butter cream frosting wasn't sweet with a perfect lemon taste, not tart but just the right combination. I liked the decorative frosting with toasted coconut flakes. I also enjoyed the chai latte with almond milk. The first taste of cinnamon was soothing and the rest of the flavors came through for a warm and comforting drink.

The treats are not cheap. $10 each for the passionfruit mango eclair and the raspberry pistachio bomb, but OH MY WORD they are fantastic!!! I don’t know that I have ever tasted anything quite like the raspberry bomb. Its texture combo, flavor profile, etc is just out of this world!!!! They also have coffee, tea, and cocktails! I had a delicious peppermint tea.

We ordered a penguin birthday cake for our daughter’s third birthday and The cake was absolutely beautiful, it also tasted great as well! Definitely going to use them in the future their cake decorating skills are impressive!

We love coming here, the pastries and coffee are 10/10. Not sure if they are no longer open late night anymore because they’ve been closed all the times we’ve tried to go recently. Which is disappointing because we loved having a spot to go after a night out, to get either cocktails, coffee or a sweet. Always had a killer playlist on and the vibes were always great, definitely would go back if they start their late night hours again.

Our sweet little wedding cake was from Sin and it was perfect. Our something blue to fit into a blue and gold themed cozy wedding. Everything from my first inquiry, to the tasting, to the wedding day was easy & delicious. Can’t imagine ordering a cake from anywhere else.

DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL! My new hidden gem! So easy, just placed an order online and scheduled a pickup. Boom - done and done. Not only was the cake absolutely delicious it was beautiful! So affordable! Honestly I would pay more! 10 out 10 would recommend!

We’ve been getting our cakes from Pastiche for years and we swear by it. They only get better and better with time and stay true to their commitment to quality. It elevates any event to have these scrumptious cakes. They’re a core memory for us all.

Our family love the fruit tart from here. This is the second tart we have gotten in 2 weeks. Today while my brother is eating, he saw something moving inside of his raspberry. Got my phone out a bit slow but the spider just crawled out of the raspberry onto the tart, you can see raspberry residue on one of its legs 🫠 And this was us bringing the cake back and cut up and serve right away…

The fruit tart was soooo good! I really like the custard inside. Both lemon and banana tarts are good too but not as amazing as the fruit one. We arrived at 12 on Sunday and there was no line.

Love their desserts ! So hard to pick just one so instead you buy a few 😊 wonderful place on the Hill !

Iconic dessert has been a household name in Rhode Island for decades. This is my first time here but I really love this place! Pre-order online is easy and fast. Service was friendly. Bought several cakes, the Fruit Tart is still my favorite😍 will definitely comeback to RI for this tart🥹🥹🥹

I used to love this place. I've been coming here for as long as l've lived here and have been very pleased with their products up until now. The unhelpful staff, non-responsive owners/managers, and low standards for customer service and food quality turned me off. Do yourself a favor avoid the “fresh fruit”flan/tart and go to Pastiche on Fed Hill. Below is the email I sent to them that they never responded to. I also made several call and left contact info and did not get a call back… Hello, I wanted to give you some honest feedback on a recent experience I had at your bakery. I came in a few days ago and bought a large fruit flan for my son's birthday. I regret to inform you that the quality was not what I have grown to expect from your bakery. I was disappointed in several qualities of this dessert. The use of canned (peaches and pineapple) fruit when you advertise "fresh fruit" on your site. There was also an odd almost chemical/ artificial after taste to the cake. Lastly, I was not expecting actual "cake" but that was my miss understanding. Your site does say" yellow cake". I was not expecting the yellow cake".I was expecting the traditional tart "crust" similar to a shortbread cookie/pie crust. We ended up not eating the 2 slices we cut or the remainder of the dessert because of the taste was so bad and ended up buying one somewhere else the next day.

My family picked up an assortment of pastries, and they were so disappointing. It’s like Shaws/StopnShop quality. Too much sugar and just quality isn’t there.

Stopped here after a visit to Rhode Island College. Wish I’d caught the name of the server. He was energetic and enthusiastic about his job. The cannolis and macaroons and large and delicious! So were the hot and cold chai lattes. 😋🥤☕️

I’ve never written a negative review before, and it pains me to write this one. I’ve been coming to this bakery for 10 years, and my wife and her family have been loyal customers for over 30 years. Unfortunately, this is no longer the same bakery we fell in love with. I understand times have been tough for many businesses, but ever since the ownership changed both the quality of the products and the service have steadily declined. The bread, once the highlight of the bakery, has become disappointing. The mini Italian loaves now resemble oversized baguettes, and the large Sicilian loaves — which cost $8 — often have giant holes running through the middle because the dough wasn’t properly punched down. That’s if you’re even lucky enough to find a large Sicilian loaf in stock when you visit, often sold out before 12. I don’t mind paying a little more to support local businesses and get quality food. But I can’t justify the prices anymore given the customer service I’ve experienced over the past six months. The staff often seem irritated that customers are even there. Small touches that used to be standard, like oil and vinegar on sandwiches, are gone. And heaven forbid you ask them to cut your bread or sandwich — you’ll get a glare that makes you feel unwelcome. This isn't just from one experience which is why I feel the need to write the review. Today was the final straw. My wife and I went in, as we often do two or three times a week, planning to buy loaves of bread, a sandwich, and some pastries. There were only two other customers in the store, yet it took the young woman behind the counter on Smith Street a ridiculous amount of time to cut our bread and prepare our order. When we politely asked for a bag to carry our many items, she glared at us and THREW the bag on the counter and walked away clearly annoyed. My wife was taken aback by how unpleasant she was throughout the entire transaction. Clearly bothered that she had customers to help. I’ve tried both locations recently, hoping it might just be an issue with one store, but sadly the poor service and declining quality are consistent. After seeing how far things have gone downhill, I can no longer support this business. I hope the owners consider retraining their staff as we have heard from other customers they feel similarly. For now, I’ll be going to other small bakeries in the city — even if it means driving instead of walking. The bakery we once loved is simply not the same anymore. I hope the owners realize how much they’re losing by letting their service decline this way.

I stopped in to the Smith St location to get a simple coffee. There were four customers in front of me and I waited for over 20 minutes without making it to the front of the line. Out of frustration, I left. There only seemed to be one person behind the counter, despite multiple employees milling around in the back. At one point the employee working behind the counter disappeared to the back for over five minutes and at times appeared to be chatting with another worker, leaving the front unstaffed. I am sympathetic to staffing shortages, etc, but this felt different. This was on a Saturday morning, and seemed like it would be prime business hours for them. No one seemed to care.

The bakery at this place is delicious and fresh, and the environment is great too.

It’s not what it used to be. Service is super slow, they don’t seem to care about you or what they’re doing. They used to swirl the sugar with some hot coffee before putting ice in it, now you just get rocks at the bottom. They also had no bagels on a Saturday at 9am.

I got a ricotta cake, pear tart, flourless chocolate cake(2 pieces) and cassata(1 piece). The cassata cake was very good. It was different than anything I’ve ever had. I would say you just have to look at the ingredients and if you like the ingredients, try it. Would definitely order again. The pear tart was ok. I can’t say it was anything special. It was too dry for me, and not enough pear taste. The flourless chocolate cake was excellent. I would definitely get that again. Now as far as the ricotta pie, I thought it was delicious. It had more lemon flavor than other ones that I’ve had, but that turned out to be not good because it gave me heartburn later. Now believe me I love lemon. I drink organic lemon water. I love chicken franchise. I make it with fresh lemon and lemon juice. The only thing I can think of is they use artificial flavor. That I get heartburn from especially if I have something blueberry flavored. So maybe it’s the same thing with the lemon. I can’t say for sure, it tasted delicious. I would have to know if they use artificial lemon flavor instead of fresh.

Glad this authentic bakery has survived these unprecedented times it’s always nice to browse the delights they craft here. I picked out the lemon cheesecake and date bars along with cinnamon and raspberry twists impeccable quality and craftsmanship.

The Cassata and the Apricot cakes were fantastic. The crust on the ricotta pie was a little undercooked. I would go back every day for the other 2 cakes! Wish I had more time to try more!

My wife grew up in the area and has been ordering and enjoying Zuppa Inglese cakes from here for decades. Although we live a distance away, these are still ordered for very special occasions. Yesterday was no exception, as I turned 65 and we had a large birthday celebration. The cake was ordered well in advance and picked up at 11am. Upon serving the cake at 2pm, it was discovered to be frozen and ruined! You couldn't cut a slice without sawing through it. The layers of filling were frozen stiff and the whipped cream frosting smelled of over refridgeration . My wife called to complain and the worker didn't explain why it had been frozen. The credit card was credited for the cost, however it didn't make up for 16 people who couldn't enjoy the cake, and more or less ruined the party. The manager today offered the excuse that the baker had left it in a freezer overnight. I believe they knew this in advance before selling it. No further compensation was offered other than another cake. The birthday party has now passed. We are completely disappointed by this fiasco.

Not my first trip to Scialo and won’t be my last! Never disappoints! My favorites are their maple walnut roll (seasonal), carrot cake, and apple turnovers! Their cookies are to die for too! My husband and I love their chocolate chip cookies and macaroons! A must try if your in the area.

The cake was a 5th birthday show stopper!!! Not only did the cake look amazing, it tasted amazing. Everyone we interacted with (from design to picking up) was polite and helpful. We won’t use anywhere else now.

We were visiting Providence for the first time and we wanted an amazing cup of coffee with something delicious boy were we surprised when we walked in and we found out that they made their own classic croissants and amazing pastries along with macaroons the coffee choices are great. The seating is great. It’s a great place to hang out and socialize and work and very comforting. The staff is outstanding. Helen is amazing, Avery is a champion.

I visited this cafe three days in a row during my trip to Providence, RI, with my husband. We enjoyed a variety of pastries and savory dishes. The avocado toast was unique — they blend the avocado into a smooth purée, which isn't my personal preference (I prefer a chunkier texture). Nevertheless, everything else we tried was excellent. The pastries were particularly memorable, and I especially loved the rosemary cookie — a must-try!  We also enjoyed their cappuccinos and matcha lattes. The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a positive atmosphere. We visited around 11 AM several times, which was their busy period. There was a fairly long line, but it was worth the wait. The space itself is lovely — plenty of seating and a bright, inviting environment. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely return next time we're in Providence!

This place was a gem and easily the best place I dined during my visit to RI. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and fast. The windows for the whole place opened to the outside to let in the beautiful fall weather. Lastly the food was delish! We also shared a table with another couple and this led to lovely conversation!

Great experience at Ellie’s a nice cozy cafe in the downtown Providence area. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our visit. The coffee was good and had a tasty breakfast sandwich and delicious pastry. The rest of the menu and pastries also looked great. The cafe was clean, bright, well decorated, and had plenty of seating. Would definitely recommend to a friend or return in my next trip to Providence.

Food was excellent! Service is always exceptional; everyone is so friendly and hospitable. Love the colors and vibes, so pretty and summery. Not too many lunch options, but the ones I’ve had are delicious. Portions are a bit on the small side, especially being more expensive. Overall, wonderful experience!

One of my new favorite places in Providence! We went here on a recent Saturday around 5pm, ordered delicious espresso martinis, sat outside on the patio with the windows of the restaurant open, and listened to an awesome jazz trio playing live music inside the restaurant. There were people there having food, having drinks just listening to the music, sitting alone reading or working on their computer, talking at their table- it was a wonderful cafe/bar vibe where you could feel comfortable doing any of those things, just enjoying the afternoon and being around others. We appreciated that they could make our espresso martinis without Baileys. Their soup of the day happened to be vegan/plant-based but none of their pastries were vegan/plant-based 😥- we would have gotten a pastry if they were.

Third times a charm when rounding the building trying to find parking on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Lucky the corner window was open and we had a cozy spot to enjoy soup, scone and cookie with delicious beverages. The only complaint from my 17 year old was the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was too heavy on the chocolate and not a good balance of oatmeal. Thanks for the lovely respite for a few Southern Californians who didn’t find any charming, delicious goody places in Warwick. Thanks.

Lisa, Walter and the entire team are consummate professionals. Old world style and grace, this is a classy, charming, and most of all DELICIOUS bakery serving only the best and freshest Italian snacks, cookies, pies (blueberry is TO DIE FOR) and spinach with cheese and pepperoni brings me back. I bought sweet breads Easter Sunday they were awful.No taste very disappointed. Bread was dry and tasted blah like someone forgot to add sugar.

I am new in town and decided to go to Seven Stars Bakery for a coffee break. The interior is so beautiful! They have this little outside space to sit and sip. It was beautified with gorgeous plants. The employees were super nice! They recommended that I try lavender cappuccino, and It was AMAZING. The coffee was warm, not hot, that I usually prefer, and they didn't have WiFi, which was pretty odd. Overall, I loved the vibe of that place!

Got a bacon, egg, and cheese and a pumpkin spice iced latte here. Coffee was made perfectly and breakfast sandwich was much needed. We also got a chocolate crossaint that was delicious. So fresh, could definitely tell it was made that morning. Great food, fast service, convenient area, really cute/high-end look inside. Very cute cafe for working or catching up with friends.

Was passing through town and stopped by for a bite. What a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely delicious and the ambience and service was also great. There were many great pastry and sandwich options — it was hard to choose! Went with a cappuccino, egg and broccoli sandwich, and cheddar scone. Will definitely return next time I’m in town.

We were recommended this bakery by a friend after visiting the Children's Museum. What a gem. We are so happy that we came upon it. We ordered coffee and some baked goods. We sat in the magical garden outside and the birds kept us company. Our son ordered the wrong cookie and the employee gave us a new one on the house. What exceptional customer service! We are so grateful and will definitely return!

I was driving back from Boston to NYC and stopped by this nice bakery. Very good selection and high quality baking there. Their ice coffee is great and very smooth with distinctive coffee taste. I tried the chocolate croissant and the cream cheese spread with on the walnut raisin toast, delicious.

Love this place. Discount if you bring your own cup. Customer point system. Really like the baked goods and the ham and cheese quiche. Black tea is good. Their version of Oreos are fun. Free loaf of bread on your birthday.

Stopped by to pick up pastries for some friends. The kouignn-amann were delicious, as were the ham and chees croissant and the cheddar scone. Can't really comment on the service since I only picked up an online order

I’ve been to PVD Donuts a few times before, but this was my first time checking out their new spot. The new location is way bigger and so much more comfortable; lots of seating and you don’t feel crammed in. Get there early because once a flavor sells out, that’s it! My husband and I grabbed the Carrot Cake, Vanilla Sprinkles, and a Honey Cruller. The Honey Cruller was the winner for me! Super light, flourless, and just so good. Definitely worth the visit!

5/5 Chocolate covered strawberries -- loved the crisp exterior with the moist interior of this old fashioned donut dough! I also really enjoyed the fresh strawberry flavor. Definitely on the sweeter side. 4/5 Tiramisu -- would say this is a good "not too sweet option" for those looking for those kinds of desserts! The brioche dough by itself as quite a salty bite to it, complemented with the mascarpone cream topping. I wish it had more coffee notes to resemble more of espresso dipped ladyfingers in tiramisu. These both traveled great in the box on the train with me to NYC! I would recommend going earlier or pre-ordering if you know you are visiting for sure as I noticed on their IG page they were sold out by 1pm on the day I visited.

Love this place so much. I found them on instagram in 2017 and we’ve been driving from Massachusetts to Providence since then just for them. The donuts are amazing, the people are real, and it’s absolutely worth whatever drive you have to make!!

This donut shop was very cozy inside and had quite a few tables. Loved the hanging plants from the ceiling. The donuts were decadent and you’ll pay for that- but they were a delicious treat that we ate at the park while all the runners and walkers came by. We had the blueberry fritter, chocolate cake donut, carrot cake donut, and maple bacon brioche donut. I also had the cold brew. We paid $36. My favorite was the carrot cake. I wish they had an apple fritter but their flavors rotate, as I like to try town’s apple fritters as I travel. If I’m in town again, I’d go back. Steps required to get into the shop.

I can see how popular this place is! I've only been successfully able to get in here once because I just like sleeping in too much. 😆 They do have to close early if they run out of donuts. I came in and the most helpful employee greeted me and assisted me with my order. I chose the carrot cake donut and a lavender iced coffee. The coffee was delicious and didn't need my usual cream or sugar. My carrot cake donut was fresh and perfectly sweet. Very delicious. I need to try to get back here again at an earlier time.

We ordered PVDonuts mini donuts as the dessert for our wedding. They were a huge hit! Our guests loved them! The staff was communicative and professional. We love PVDounts!

Not really sure about " atmosphere" but they were rocking a very long line on St Joseph's day for zeppolis that made the news earlier that day! Friends from CT were Racing about the pizza strips and pizza chips so I got my group pizza chips and zeppolis Did not like the pistachio zeppolis -- tasted like amaretto which is more almond than pistachio. But we decided original custard is better than traditional ricotta filling.... All the selections and blind-taste tests made for a very fun day of zeppolis taste testers. Have fun folks!!??

After seeing these folks at a farmers market, we had to stop by their business. OMG THE WORLD FAMOUS PIZZA CHIPS are AMAZING. A MUST GET! Hubby got a bagel yummy. I got the lemon bar-delicious!

I’m new to the area, and stopping into this Italian bakery was truly a lovely experience. The woman behind the counter — a sweet blonde lady — was so kind and patient with me. I was feeling a little overwhelmed (in the best way!) because everything looked incredible. She took her time helping me order, carefully packaged up two slices of pizza, a piece of carrot cake, and a slice of cherry cheesecake — all of which were absolutely delicious. The bakery itself has such a warm and welcoming vibe, and the staff clearly care about making sure you’re happy.

Wow if I could give them 10 stars I would. We drove from Baltimore MD to get there when they opened at 7am. Everything we bought was so incredible. We loved all the baked goods and the pizza chips are to die for. They were so nice they even filled us bags of pizza chips to take with us . So friendly and welcoming. If your a local you know this is a great bakery, if your in the area and want an amazing bakery definitely make this a stop!!!!!

The small shop next to a beautiful church has always attracted me, I decided to go there after reading the reviews , When I went in, I was surprised by the amount of things (bread dough, pastries and sweets..) OMG! I was confused, everything it had seemed delicious The sweets honestly looked very beautiful and tasted very delicious Everything I ordered was very delicious and I will come back and try other things And the people who work in the shop are very nice I advise you to try it, I am sure it will become one of your favorite shops in rhode island

I went to visit this bakery for the very first time. I should have bought one of everything! The older women at the counter(wish I asked her name) was very nice and started conversation with us letting us know they have been open for 57 years. I will make sure to stop in , as she said we would, anytime I’m In RI. Everything was tasty and so good. She even gave us a few freebies like the pizza chips!! Which are a must try! Also had a cheese danish and a giant m&m cookie. All very good!

They made a unicorn pull apart cake for my baby’s 1st birthday party. It came out amazing! Looked great and tasted so good! When I placed the order the baker came to the front to look at pictures and promised he could make the vision come true. Highly recommend.

I moved back to Rhode Island recently and was looking for malasadas. I called and the person was super nice and explained the menu and options. Malasadas are only made on the weekends and you can pre-order, so I did. When I picked up, I also scanned the bakery cases and spoke with the discombobulated line inside (I say this with love). The folks that come here are regulars and most of them just want bread or Portuguese groceries like cheese or linguisa. I saw someone walking down the street with a bag of bread. I, however, wanted one of each custard tart (see photos of what I went home with). It totaled just under $30! So cheap. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed in the malasadas. It wasn’t the taste I remembered from my childhood. The other pastries were OK, but nothing hit a home run for me and my family. If I went back, I would look at the other offerings like bread, empanadas, groceries, or soup.

My first visit was today. I bought rolls that are priced higher than other bakeries, a pizza strip that had too much herbs and wine biscuits that are the worst i have ever had! Hard as rocks, so over cooked and not good flavor. Even dunking them out coffee didn’t help soften them. I am mad that I bought two packages of them as I hate throwing money away. I will be having the rolls later and will come back to update(though I am not optimistic about them).

Probably the best Portuguese bakery we have been to since we moved to Providence Rhode island. All their items were so fresh. They have both bread and dessert items. they make excellent and extremely fresh sandwiches. We got some coffee and it was surprisingly really tasty. The staff are really efficient and super friendly. There was a constant flow of people which is a good sign that this place gets a lot of repeat customers. Everybody knew what they wanted.

My go to bakery, I love the fresh made sandwiches and the lattes are amazing you must try the pistachio

My son ordered a stitch birthday cake for my grandaughter and it was the hit of the party. The cake was beautiful and delicious we loved how it was not overly sweet. My grand daughter usually doesnt like cake and wont stop eating it! Highly recommend you try them next time you need a custom cake.

Bakery items and food is goof but the iced coffee, yuck. I was disappointed as their crème brûlée latte looks awesome in pics but that’s as far as it goes. Stay away from Cold coffee creations here!

Guys, I can’t express how good this restaurant was!!! I have eye problem with bright lights but this restaurant, the light were on perfect brightness! The food is delicious, the appetizers, the cheesecake. Everything is so good, even the bread!. And I love how they pay attention to the extra details you put on the reservation!. The roof of the place is amazing. I loved everything and definitely coming back again. The workers are quick and well spoken, they are so sweet and nice, it gives comfort 😭❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Cheesecake Factory

The restaurant gives you everything the chain promises, good food and amazing cheese cake. We were there on a Saturday night with a group for my daughter's birthday. There was a 2 hour wait for our party of 7 as they explained when we called that they dont take reservations over 6 people, so be aware of this if you want to have a family dinner here. It is loud in there when busy, so be aware of this as well. And you'll have to pay to park. While this place absolutely is great, there's better places that aren't chains to have dinner in Providence within literal walking distance.

The Cheesecake Factory has gone so down hill. Wow. Everything about this place has gotten worse. The service is horrendous. The food is smaller, prices higher and the kicker it tastes horrible. The quality has taken a nose dive. At their price points size and quality does not have to diminish. My CF famous Chicken plate was like eating rubber. I told the waitress. And I have never turned back food anywhere. It was actually embarrassing and she was like what do you want me to do. It was decided to take off bill so I just didn't eat The manager was informed and the waitress and her stuck their fingers in it to see if it was indeed rubbery. Yes stuck fingers in. At the desk to check it. Like I would spit out the chicken and not eat because I enjoy not eating and watching my family eat at restaurants. As bad as this place was tonight I am shocked that it is not out of business. I should have known. There were signs. Plenty of them. When seated the server did not even check on us for 16 minutes. 0. I have never in my entire life waited 16 minutes at a table without being talked to. It took another 12 to get our drinks. So we are at 28 minutes. I should have known right then. By the time we got our appetizer and finished it we were almost an hour and 15 minutes in. Then the food. We waited another 30 minutes. We were then told it was being plated. Which means it was done. But we didn't see our food for another 18 minutes. The waitress was talking at another table knowing we were being plated. No wonder why I had rubber chicken it was sitting under a hot lamp most likely and the mashed potatoes were dry and lukewarm at best. Everyone's food was not good and was average at best. And all the main sides were lukewarm. Something I expect at a local chain fast food restaurant. Not at a place that serves $25 appetizers and $50 meals. This place used to be pretty amazing. It is that no longer. My wife's salmon was ok. The best thing here were the fries. So if you enjoy $200 dollar fries then you will love it. When your paying 150+ you expect good service and food. End of story. Not ok. And after the whole experience the manager did not think it was a good idea to come by the table. Even though my plate had rubber chicken on it and chicken that was a quarter of the size of the chicken that was on the same plate next to me and across from me. You could visually see that mine was way off. She put her fingers in so she knew all about my thin rubber chicken. She could see and feel why I couldn't eat it. So I sat and watched everyone eat and still no visit. I ate on the way home at a fast food place. Cheesecake Factory should be ashamed that this is the product they are putting forward from service to food. Shame on them. If they don't recognize this quickly they too will be out of business. Be better CF.

Food was good. Way too pricey for what it was. I was not hungry. However, I grudgingly attended a birthday dinner. I regret spending all that money for food I took home and didn't even eat 😩. The waitress was friendly enough until I asked her about the $60 tip they automatically attached to the total of our food bill. She explained that for a table of 8. They normally automatically add gratuity. I was already aware of this. However, the 8th person was a baby under 1-year-old. I didn't know that the baby would've been added. Seeing that she ate from her mom's plate. I guess I'm not up to date on current events of the food industry.

Besides our server being decent, there was nothing absolutely phenomenal about this place. We drove an hour away (for clothes at the mall not solely for food here) and we could have gone to chilis for better food. Our plates were dirty when we sat down, they took 15 min to even bring us water which usually thats the first thing you get when you sit down… and then the wait took an hour and 15 min to get a table that had crumbs all over it when we sat down. To be fair, i get it. It was busy. Everybody and their mother was here. Like you all do not need to celebrate your birthday at the cheesecake factory. This is not Nobu or Tao. I ordered a yuzu drop drink and it came in the wrong glass because they ran out. And all of the plates and utensils were dirty. We asked for fresh ones and there was even more food specs on it. What a ride it was. Never coming back. The hartford CT one is better.

As soon as we sat down we noticed the silverware was dirty, as well as our napkins having orange stuff on them. Our cups were also dirty and we were not offered straws. We watched a table next to us leave and another one come with nobody wiping of the table or sweeping in between customers. The environment as a whole was super dirty and uncomfortable. The steak was mostly fat and the fries tasted like they were reheated in a microwave. When the server was notified he did not seem phased as if this happens often. Overall an unpleasant experience with food that was far too high in price for what it was worth.

Food was good but lengthy wait to receive it. Made reservations for 8 but were seated in a very tight booth that should have been for 4 or 6. When asked for more comfortable accommodations party was told we would be placed on wait list for between 30-45 minutes.

Super cute on the inside, great customer service- the employees were so kind and helpful. They did not have crounuts? when I went (on a weekday) but I did try their jelly donut and coffee cake donut. The raspberry jelly was good but it took many bites to get to the jelly, because it was so sweet and rich, it was overwhelming at the end and I couldn’t finish it. On the other hand, the coffee cake donut was delicious- award winning. Everything was super fresh and tasted delicious.

Knead to try harder…mediocre donuts at epicurean prices. Purchased two donuts, an expired milk and a water for $15. Donuts were day olds…despite being there an hour after opening. Good flavor (blueberry lemon and strawberry shortcake) but super dry to the point we didn’t finish. They were nice an about the expired milk and then checked the whole case, but were nonverbal during the purchase. Clearly not morning people.

This is a really cute doughnut shop with a nice variety of fresh high quality donuts. We came on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too busy and they had a great selection of donuts and pastries to choose from. The service was great too. We got a brown butter pecan donut and a mocha old fashioned donut. The brown butter pecan donut was one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. It was so big and fluffy and had so many little pecan pieces coating it. The mocha old fashioned was good too but the texture wasn’t quite as good and I didn’t taste much coffee flavor. This is a great a great spot with delicious donuts! We’ll be back for sure and will recommend it to friends!

I came in skeptical, and unfortunately, the donuts didn’t win me over. The chocolate frosted with sprinkles and vanilla glazed tasted basic - definitely not worth the premium price. The pecan was the best of the bunch, but overall, it felt overhyped. I’m a PV Donut guy.

Came here looking for a good apple fritter and the apple fritter was good not the best it could be but still yummy. The vanilla glaze is a good choice as well but I hated the chocolate frosted. The donut was dry, the frosting seemed store bought and the sprinkles were not enjoyable. I also got a cinnamon roll donut and it look so promising but there was not cinnamon throughout it was just a plain donut with cinnamon glaze. It was also a bit pricy $6/donut is a bit steep considering the quality.

Amazingly this place is never crowded on weekday mornings making it an excellent meeting or study spot. The cinnamon buns are unparalleled in my opinion, flakey, buttery with just the right amount of sweetness. No espresso drinks, but their coffee is solid.

Got a cake from here again and never again.. it has an aftertaste as if it was sitting there for a while. The first time I got a slice of cake it was very good second time it had an aftertaste that I could not eat it. Decided to give it another try and once again it was not good. I’ll just stick to buying bread and not cake

Stopped by the bakery for a few things. Haven’t been in years, so glad I made the stop. The Italian bread was delicious, along with the egg biscuits, pepper biscuits, fig squares! Everything was delicious. The outside is cute with the Italian colors on the planters, it caught my attention. This will be my go to for my bakery needs.

My daughter loves their pepper sticks. I love their Italian wedding soup. They have pre-made meals too.

Amazing little bakery sitting right in Providence! The pricing on the pastries were amazing! Got some cannoli’s, a cinnamon roll and a bismarck. The bismarck was PHENOMENAL, as the raspberry jam really hit the spot. Also got some bread for the week! Will definitely be revisiting.

I came in to buy some pizza chips but I couldn't resist all their yummy pastries. The employee was so nice and named all their items. I ended up eating my choice in the car and it was so yummy.

I’m new to the neighborhood so stopped by here on a Saturday morning to give it a shot and I’ve got to say, it was really bad. I picked a pastry behind the counter, and it was outright inedible in how stale it was. I tried two bites before throwing it out. Here I was, at a bakery on a Saturday morning, expecting something right out of the oven. They wouldn’t serve baked goods at Dunkin’ Donuts that were the stale. Hard as a rock!

It's always fresh and delicious! Sometimes, the bread is still warm! Best pizza strips, homemade soups, spinach pies are loaded, and just the right amount of seasoning. I can go on and on! Everything is delicious! A must try! 👌

Phenomenal pork chop tenderloin, full stop! Don't mess around, someone at the table should get this dish. We had the scallops and the sea Bass as well, the pork chop is a level above these dishes. Smoky char, tender, juicy, and you must dip in the sauce on the plate to get the full experience. This is a must have entree at The New Rivers restaurant. Baked Alaska was good and we enjoyed the Corn cake with corn ice cream.

New Rivers was a good experience. Their menu is concise and looked like the intention was "local ingredients". I had looked at photos from others and was excited to try what they had to offer. The calimari was perfectly light and tender. Their buns were yummy. The pickles, did not have pickles, but had pickled zucchini, onions, but no actual pickles. Entrees were good, not mind blowing. Pork chops and apricots go very well together. The fritters were delicious. The char was not out of the ordinary. I think for the price, the food did not hit the mark. The drinks are great and I'll be back to try it again to see if a new seasonal menu changes my mind.

We went for dinner for a weeknight in early September. Reservations were available on short notice and missed the college parent crowds. First time here after hearing about it for a number of years. We shared a couple of appetizers and really enjoyed the cheese/charcuterie board and calamari. Calamari was crispy and sauces were delicate. Cheese board was also delicious and we liked that we could mix and match. Not many places offer pate, so we enjoyed having that as an option. The gnudi dish was the best of the evening. They’re something between a small dumpling and gnocchi, and were so incredibly tender! Sauce was very delicious and we highly recommend trying this dish. Entrees were okay, but not amazing. They’re known for their burger but I found it lackluster. Saddest part was the French fries were soft and tasteless. Burger meat was drier than it should be; likely too much fat rendered off during cooking. Bun had no integrity and didn’t hold up to the burger. Pork loin was good, but serving size was extremely small for an entree. There were only 3 slices of pork on the dish. Desserts were simple and well-executed, but not a highlight. Atmosphere can be very nice if not too loud. Great place for a date, grabbing light fare, or having a drink at the bar.

It seems they make a new menu daily; ours had the day we dined written on it. So I’m not sure if I’m able to exactly recommend anything specific but I loved the NY Strip Steak on 9/19. It was done perfectly. I was a huge fan. Highly recommend. I did expect the potatoes with it to be more crispy and the sauce to be more like au jus from the menu description but they were still really good! It was a long wait on even a Thursday so it’s highly recommended to plan in advance and make reservations. It’s like the food that north used to serve and that was one of my favorite restaurants. We ordered a charcuterie as well and I didn’t love it but that was my fault because I literally chose what I wanted in it. Overall, I still had a fantastic dinner and would try other things next time!

Absolutely life changing meal. We split the corn fritters, rolls, and a charcuterie board, as well as the gnudi. Finished with the sweet corn & blueberry ice creams for desert. Everyone was incredibly kind and so attentive throughout our meal, and the food was out of this world. We came down from Boston and I’m willing to make that trip again just to come to dinner here!

One of our most favorite spots. The menu is curated from local/seasonal bests—elevating fresh and simple to elegant. All of the employees are excellent representatives of owners and culture—fun energy and enthusiastic service. Can’t wait to be back. We came here for restaurant week to have a complete dinner experience and this place didn't disappoint. Everything is fresh and delicious. Not huge portions so if you're looking for leftovers this won't be the place for you. They give you just enough. It's pricey for what you get but worth it. The best pot de creme I've ever had that finished off my experience.

Gregg's came highly recommended by a former local. I liked the restaurant so much on my initial visit (James was a great waiter), that I went back the next day too! I enjoyed everything I had there: pickles, chef's salad, pumpkin cheesecake, corned beef and cabbage, and apple pie. No doubt if I lived in Providence I'd be a regular at Gregg's!!

As someone that doesn’t commonly eat, sweets, Greg’s cakes are always my go to. This particular cake was for one of us, girls birthdays. She loves this cake so much that she request a year over a year. This cake is their lemon cake

The food was good; fresh ingredients and made to order. Kellie, our waitress, was on top of everything, noticing the basic things we needed without us having to ask, which made dinner flow fuildly while we are and chatted. The place has a calm, family vibe to it with noce decor and relaxing music. The drinks, a pumpkin martini, were a nice start to fall seasonal drink.

I'm forced to update....If you have a nut allergy, you won't be able to indulge in the most delicious brownie or dessert known to mankind!! Now I can never look at it again ⭐⭐ 👍KUDOS!! I make And am very particular about Meatballs & Ziti alone or together, I wish I could have stopped eating and photographed the whole plate.

Wow, we got the best chocolate cake here for a birthday. They had lots of cakes ready for purchase. Everyone who ate it claimed it was the best chocolate cake they’ve ever had! Truly delicious!! Very fair price for the size and quality - I think 35. I am now dreaming of eating this cake again!

Went to get dessert to go with my kids. Ended up charging my mind and asked to be seted but seems like they had no interest in having us sit and seems like there was tables available. They close at 10 and was 9:12pm. In my opinion more than enough time to eat dessert

Spinach and Cheese Breakfast burrito last month: well made and cut in half, fairly tasty and then realised there was so much cheese , the grease was leaking out everywhere. Couldn't finish the last couple of bites. Perhaps less chedder(fattier cheese) and more feta? It was a bummer. Today tried the Pesto Panini and it was OK. Pesto was tasty and tomatoes fresh, chicken and and bread were....eh. Really have high hopes for this cafe, as there's not much open on weekends, and not only do we as RISD employees look for good spots to grap lunch, we also LOVE recommending places, especially Hazel. Staff has been great on my two visits, and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Cannot comment on coffee or beverages. Chairs, tables and benches are inviting. However, the all black walls and too-loud music make it less attractive to stay and enjoy. Will give it another try for food next month and see how it goes.

We tried the new location today. Maybe they are still getting their bearings but the latte was not drinkable. They have high end equipment and the place is cute but the coffee was very very bitter. I feel bad writing a bad review for a new place but it’s in the hopes that they’ll better train their baristas or work out the kinks.

This is just simply a great place to get a great cup of coffee. The bariste prepared us a double and a triple chai latte that were the best this side of New Orleans!

Used to love the dark roast coffee...last 2 times definitely different. Less boldness, flavor. I was reassured by staff the proportions had not changed. Tried again, weak again. Back to Coffee Exchange. Always good, every time.

It’s really rare that I leave a negative review, but the expensive cake slices we had at L’Artisan yesterday were freezer-burned to the point where one was completely inedible. I went back to ask for a different slice, which is bad considering I seriously never send anything back. The two staff who were there were super nice about it, which I definitely appreciated. The pastry I traded for was better, but still tasted like a dirty freezer. I was especially bummed to know they were frozen at all. I assumed that for the price ($20 for 2 cake slices) they would be freshly made. I highly recommend you skip this place and go to Madrid Bakery instead.

I was very disappointed in the desserts I ordered from this bakery. Looking at all the photos I was hoping for something amazing. The desserts were delivered frozen solid and weren't in great shape. The food looks amazing on the pictures. Please don't decide not to eat here because of one experience. Everyone has bad days.

Excellent place to go grab a salad/snack/sandwich and a coffee. I've had the lattes and the cappuccinos, which were both 10 out of 10 stars. The food options are vast, and everything is SO fresh. As you can see from my picture, the patio area is a very nice spot to hang out during the day.

Enjoyed an iced cappuccino and a lemon poppy seed muffin. Greeted by a friendly staff and service was great. Enjoyed my breakfast on the patio. Ample seating indoors and outdoors. I'll definitely visit again and maybe try lunch next time.

I honestly thought the chai latte was atrocious. Sickeningly sweet and very watery. I couldn’t even eat the tiramisu, it had no coffee fragrance whatsoever. Ended up throwing everything out. Not sure how it’s rated so highly, maybe I took the wrong things. Also, everything came in a plastic container even though I sat there and not to go. The premises are nice, however. There is an outdoor seating area and the staff are friendly. I’ll give them that. Otherwise, I truly wish I saved my 12$ for something else.

My partner and I sat at the bar and loved the atmosphere & not to mention our bartender made us THE best margs , both strawberry & lime. Food was definitely comfort food, my partner loved her animal style fries, & the star of the show was definitely our bacon cheeseburger sliders with added crispy onions, they just melt in your mouth, def became our favorite go to spot on the hill

The OG Harry's is the best. This place was kind of dirty. Bartender was great. Burgers weren't up to par. The boozy shake I ordered was over priced for the small glass you get. Idk. I think I'm all set with Harry's for a while.

Recommendation from a local on my last trip. Wanted a good burger! Slider style burgers large selection to choose from. Sides yummy mac n cheese to the fries. Decent beer selection to wash it down. Parking was limited but found a public lot a few blocks down. Great service from the staff...

Burgers have great variety and aren't so big you feel like you'll die if you eat it all. Excellent flavor, good value especially for the area. Milkshakes were awesome as well. Had the oreo, coffee, and birthday cake. Pastrami burger was fantastic!

Their pastries were so good! We went there on the Labor Day and got the lemon cake and kouign amann. The cake was super moist and the kouign amann was perfectly flaky and sweet, loved it!

The most delicious flavorful, baked goods! We had the lemon cake, cinnamon roll, and ginger scone. All delicious! I would definitely come back for the baked goods. However, the service was meh.. the staff attending the counter were not very friendly or helpful.

Quick service, decent latte. I ordered a pretzel chocolate croissant as well - croissant was flakey and light, the pretzel/saltiness paired well with the not too sweet chocolate in a well balanced combo. I would definitely stop in again and try out their other bakery items. There is a small parking lot behind the bakery with a couple of spots as well as street parking available.

The photo below is not a croissant but this bakery calls it one. Then croissant did not have any air in it. The croissant is cut in half to add the almond filling which is not traditional in anyway it’s completely flat and frankly somewhat tasteless. We’re glad we ordered a sticky bun, which was quite good

Been coming here for years since moving to Providence and I've had nothing but the BEST experiences day after day, week after week. It's busy for a reason!! I'm proud to call Seven Stars my local coffee shop and I'll always support a cafe with a strong union that cares about its employees.

Ginger scone...is THE best scone in the world. All the scones are great had the lemon currant ...so good. And the chocolate almond croissant is 😋 delicious! Not to say the pecan sticky roll and lemon cake are awesome lol ...well anything in this lovely spot you will find all over locations in our great town of providence.

Solid selection of products and easy location to get to. The store has just about all the essentials. Needs a little love as some of the shelves/displays are empty, but they do appear to have what you need. Staff is friendly and helpful and the store is clean feeling.

This store is closing oct31 as it is owned by stop and shop and was deemed unprofitable. I went in Sunday and the cashiers were wearing parkas and it felt like there was no heat. The cashier said management told them it was needed for the food.no one should have to work like that. I reported them to OSHA and the labor board who called me today and said the management said the heat was having “issues” OSHA is requiring a repair bill as proof. I will never shop at stop and shop again they don’t treat their employees well and if they could they would have customers stocking shelves as well as scanning and bagging our own groceries to save money

I purchased sandwich deli ham. Actually half fat and ham. They have an area of precut cold cuts so one doesn't have to wait in the deli line. I was shocked and disgusted opening this package up. Who would ever eat something with this much fat. There is no excuse or reason to sell this.

Definitely best grocery fried chicken in Rhode Island. $4.5 for 4 piece and $8 for 8 piece. Classic pressure cooker frying technique (similar to KFC’s original recipe chicken, rather than the crispy skin style from Popeyes). Nicely and thoroughly seasoned. Maybe not super crispy bc the chicken might be placed under heat lamp for several hours, but the overall texture is marvelous. The smell of the chicken is also insanely good. Note that there are other fried chicken available in this store and they are usually sold cold. I have tried those and they are not even close to this pressure cooker fried chicken. If the chicken does not smell incredible, then you are looking at the wrong product.

Great market 👍 great selection of groceries, and a line of ethnic foods. Deli is great has everything. Nice meat department. Fish department. Nice salad bar, hot bar. Table's to sit at an eat. Coffee, pastry. Lottery tickets. Pay your utilities there. Very clean for the amount of traffic. Plenty of parking. Handicapped parking spots. Plus on a convenient bus route. Go check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed.. pleasant staff..

We were here today on an instacart order with some very specific items required, special cheeses. The guy in the area (bigger lighter skinned guy with a beard) was not only incredibly willing to help, but also able. He knew exactly where everything was without a second thought. Very impressed by his customer service. Great job.

I have been coming into the Butcher Shop for years. Not only do they have top notch food but the service has been quick. The breakfasts are the best around. I LOVE the "roasted red" chicken but it is always a toss up when I am in the mood for a burger.

This restaurant and deli is the best!!! I highly recommend their orange juice, potato salad, and their tuna wraps! Excellent price for a massive portion! They also have wonderful gluten free bread!!!

Like others have said, I've been eating here for almost 30 years and have always enjoyed it. Great club sandwiches, burgers, breakfast all day, pizza when they have it, and other items. The tuna is fantastic. Somethings are a little pricey, but overall a much better value than newer places opening up, and better variety.

Really? Breakfast was as disgusting as the cook. Attitude. Expensive. Sparsely buttered toast. Home fries fried. And the cook was mean. He was terse. A family came in and they went next door. Find a new job if you don’t like the clientele. And the outside table was beat. Rhody hen. Julian’s. Nicks on broadway. Francesca’s. Waterman grille. Avenue n. Amy’s. Never again. About as bad as modern diner in Pawtucket. 15$. Two eggs. Burnt toast. Teaspoon of butter and an attitude. Why because I wasn’t dressed to kill? Frank and Laurie’s is worth a wait. Blueberry pancakes? Rhody hen. Can order 1. Real maple syrup Burgundian in Attleboro. That was a great breakfast. East siders take note.

I’ve only gone to the sandwich/restaurant area, 1st time to the deli. The guy was cranky and rude. He had someone else finish my order in the middle of just a few items…and the 2nd guy put salami in the same package as mortadella right next to each other in the same bag. I’ve never had a deli do that in my entire life! I saw it at the register, I should’ve left it with them! I turned down one breaded, thin chicken cutlet was $9.00. I won’t go back!

They just lost a loyal customer. They are so rude, angry and impatient with customers. Wonder how they stay in business. Shameful.

Not only is the food amazing but the staff is exceptional.

Everytime I visit Providence I make it a point to visit this place. They never disappoint. Excellent breads & pastries. Good coffee, good hot chocolate. Fine sandwiches & cheese/sausage. Specializes in Portuguese/European breads & pastries. Cajetada de Coco (coconut) & almond desserts are superb. A tad pricey, but the quality amazes. And in an easy-walkable neighborhood. The employees as quick & efficient. One of the older ladies doesn't smile much. I have a sort of game going with her. Each time I see her I try my best to make her smile & she tries her darndest not to. So far a draw.

While in Fox Point Providence, we stopped into Silver Star Bakery. We got some Portuguese sweetbread, RI pizza straps, & a popseco com quiejo st jorge. The breads were super fluffy, & the pizza strips were tasty.

We came here upon a visit because it had high ratings. This place did not disappoint. The woman who helped us was very friendly and nice. I tried to speak a tiny bit of Portuguese. She was able to set me up with authentic desserts for my aunt who's from Portugal. They were delicious. We all enjoyed them. Very happy we stopped here to try out their yummy treats.

We stopped by the bakery right before closing—didn’t realize the time, but we were hoping to grab a quick treat. The girl working was outside putting chairs away and completely ignored us standing inside. After waiting a bit, my aunt went out to ask if we could still order, and the response we got was, “It depends what time it is,” with a tone that made it pretty clear we weren’t welcome. She eventually came back in, barely said a word, and made it obvious that we were a major inconvenience. I totally get that staff want to go home, but we were still customers, we were polite, and we even left a tip. A little bit of basic courtesy would’ve gone a long way.

I went recently for an iced coffee and a snack. I asked for iced coffee, pizza strip, and lemon bar. The pizza strip was good, not great. The iced coffee I had to throw out, it was very bad. And the lemon bar? Well instead of getting what I asked for, I was given an almond ball… I tried to eat the almond ball and did not enjoy it at all. Waste of money. The person working barely even spoke to me.

Strawberry matcha latte was like actually awful. It wasn’t sweet, didn’t have any strawberry in it besides flavored syrup. Didn’t even have red in it. Also didn’t match the photo that was hung up in the cafe at all that looks like an actual strawberry matcha latte. I took one sip and threw it away. Won’t be back.

The Eccles cake I got had molds inside! This is insane.

The food was good! Pretty salty but it may have been just a one off thing. Will definitely return to try again. The brunch sangria was amazing, horchata latte was delicious, and the prix fixe was a great deal to do with a group to taste many items they offer. The ambiance was my favorite part of the experience!

Considering we were walk-ins at the start of brunch hour, the 3 of us got sited quickly. It’s very very small…prospective, if 20 are dinning, the place’s packed! I say make reservations for sure. Food was good but over priced. $24 for an egg cheese w/avocado, tomato on brioche w/a side of salad or home fries. The 3 of us got sandwiches and 1 drink each and 1 app. With tip, almost $140. Most expensive brunch I’ve ever had. Good atmosphere and lovely waitress too.

Food was good and well seasoned. Portions are smaller for the price point. The drinks were good. Dulce de Leche french toast was too sweet with too many dressings. Mofongo with pernil was good. Empanadas were great and had a good amount of filling in the flaky crust. The variety of hot sauces were delicious. Not accommodating for larger groups, and children or babies. The place is very small for a brunch spot. They limit you for a 1 hour brunch. Before sitting down we were told our table needed to be given up in 45 minutes since our reservation was for 11 and we were all seated at 11:15. This made brunch feel like a rushed experience for everyone. Service was not that great. They kept missing things, didn't provide enough plates, and forgot to give us a cardamom knot. They provided the cardamom knot to go and when having it at home, it was hard and a bit burnt. We made this reservation for my friend who came from out of town for her birthday. The birthday notation in the reservation was not at all acknowledged. There are too many things in fine print for this restaurant reservation that make this feel like it could have been a better experience overall.

As, someone who has been exposed to Latin food my whole life . This place really hits the mark . Everything was amazing . I took home 6 peices of pastry . The cardamom buns where a15 out of 10! And the chicken & waffles . You can taste so many familiar spices & ingredients in every bite !

This is absolutely one of the best meals I ever had which is saying something because I've eaten across Europe, Turkey, and North America. Their homemade shakshuka was so rich and flavorful and they bottle it and sell it along with an assortment of honemade jams and hot sauces. The service was fantastic. It took a bit to get our food (which is normal for shakshuka) and they bought us cookies for our wait. It was also a beautifully decorated cafe. Highly recommend.

I don’t want to leave a good review because then this place will become famous and I will never get a table. Service: Why are the staff members so happy here? What a nice bunch of people. The energy spills into the delicious food. Food: Get the Mofongo Benedict. The food is like a hug from inside your tummy. This Latina is very happy to have found this amazing fusion of different flavors to feast on. Thank you. Music: Gosh, listening to Juan Luis Guerra brought me back in time. Lovely music and it was not loud. Yas! I could have a conversation with my partner and listen to the music. My husband was left unsupervised and bought hot sauce and coffee to bring home. We got a complimentary pastry from the owner. We also learned that they have special dinning events on some Thursday nights. Check them on Resy. So, don’t come here. I don’t want to share the happy people with the delicious food with anybody. Mine.

So much heart and attention to detail has been put into this cozy, neighborhood family friendly spot. It’s obvious the owners love their culture and the food they make. You can feel the love. Café con leche was perfect, just like abuela would make. It missed the secret pinch of salt but still excellent. Ordered a $5.50 chicken empanada that didn’t deliver unfortunately. I grew up eating Cuban empanadas and they are always - hot, juicy, heavy and full of flavor with a little crunchy-chewy action with the dough. This had none of those elements. A meager spoonful of chicken stuff that had zero flavor. Their home made tamarind hot sauce helped me finish it. Their star dish - mofongo Benedict was excellent explosion of Latin flavor and recommend sharing as it is large. The shredded pork was cooked perfectly. Their abundant selection of pastries looked amazing but didn’t try this time as the mofongo filled me up. Giving a 5 star for overall experience for flavor and ambiance. 💙

Such a cute little bakery! I love the vibes here, very coordinated colours and decor, super friendly staff, and of course, delicious pastries! I had the chocolate chip banana bread (gluten-free), and the gluten-free cookies to go. A lovely spot to grab pastries to go, or to stay, and sit in one of the window seats. I can't wait to come back.

The beautiful assortment of baked goods truly are the star of the show here!! So far I’ve had the chocolate chip cookie, coconut macaroons, and coffee cake—they taste just as delicious as they look. Staff can vary from uninterested to friendly and attentive. Their espresso drinks are good. Unfortunately I find their cold brew extremely bitter.

Super impressed by this bakery. The jalapeno scone is definitely the best I’ve had in my life. So so impressed. Love the cookies and nitro cold brew.

One of the best chocolate chips cookies I’ve had. It has the perfect chew and has just the right amount of chocolate in it. The cold brew is good as well.

Very nice little bakery, the coffee was very good and the pastries we got were excellent. It is small, so if you planning to sit inside, be patient. If you want a breakfast Sammie with bacon, get there earlier before they sell out. They do offer outside seating along the side walk for the right weather. The staff were friendly. I like that the business is eco conscious by letting customers bag and take the old coffee grinds, to use for planting and soil regeneration purposes. If you want a great coffee and a fantastic piece of iced lemon loaf to soak it in, the Oak Bakeshop won’t disappoint.

Wowww!! The desserts here are incredible! I can see why they’re gaining in popularity so quickly. I purchased 3 desserts and they were all massive in size and high in quality. I’ve been seeing their huge coffee cake bricks ($5) on YouTube and Instagram so that was an obvious choice. Not one part was dry and the crumb topping was perfection. I think it weighed about 1 pound. Their apple crumb muffin ($4) had deep flavor and this crumble topping had a slight crunch to it. Very good. The chocolate scone ($3.75) was huge, moist and loaded with chocolate chips. Everything had great flavor and on the size and quality of their food, the value is fantastic. I’d gotta go back there ASAP and try more of their desserts.

*Updating my review from the week they first opened. Very good chocolate chip cookies. Like some of the best. They added cute vintage dishes for dine-in. Thick ceramic mugs for coffee for here and fun thrifted plates for baked goods now. They have local art items for sale which was nice. Some vegan options. Free Wi-Fi. Only a few places to sit though and no plugs so not exactly ideal for a place to work for too long on a laptop. There is no public restroom here, even if you order something.

This place is a little easy to miss from the outside, but so eclectic and unique on the inside. About a 25 minute walk from DT Providence. They took the duck and bunny theme to their grave - play a game and find the hidden ducks/bunnies on the inside! The candlelit ambiance and cozy seating area make it great for a romantic dinner or dessert outing, or laidback tea and coffee with friends. Outdoor seating is available, with a waitlist at peak times. The place is a bit narrow and looks to have been a residence at some point, as the kitchen is directly next to the bathroom, so be careful when stepping out as you may encounter employees trying to get by. We had the seasonal plates, which were good, especially the Crepeadilla; however, the Crepe Lo Mein was overpowered by soy sauce, which made it difficult to enjoy fully. The banana Nutella and espresso mocha cupcakes were delicious and very sweet! Local craft beer featured on the menu, and the menu had excellent pairing suggestions with meals. Our waitress was great with recommendations and keeping up with our table. Would definitely recommend as a lovely local restaurant to friends visiting east Providence!

Usually extremely busy during breakfast or brunch hours. Quality food, decent prices, cupcakes are delicious. There is also a beautiful back yard area that I would recommend checking out. Additionally, you may have events in the back yard area, information is available on their website.

Delicious brunch eats with the Bunny Bleu salad (pictured) a fave. Crepes are a good choice too. Dine on or out, but I love dining in. It's decorated as if you were visiting some cool aunt who bakes. Which by the way, a mini selection of cup cakes is not a bad way to go and makes perfect dessert for 2 if get four in a box.

It was a beautiful day and my friend and I decided to have brunch in the back patio area. Great ambience great food..staff was awesome. Love that they are dog friendly.

Cozy, trendy restaurant near Providence colleges. The food is okay, a little pretentious, but the cupcakes are excellent.

We chose the Duck & Bunny to make our wedding cake and cupcakes. To me, they are well priced especially for a two tiered custom cake and over 140 cupcakes. They are very nice and went over every detail. My fiance, two of my bridesmaids & I went there for cake tasting and they were amazing! Great service and attentiveness. After we had devoured the cupcakes, she sat down and went over every option and made sure we had what we liked on our list and reviewed decorations. Not only were they super nice to us,but to every customer there as well. Every customer was treated with equal respect and kindness. I will DEFINITELY recommend their events service to everyone!

Food is good but the portions for their fries for the fish and chips could be more reasonable. The customer service today from what was believed to be one of the owners was not good at all and I left a little disappointed today. Due to the poor customer service I do not think I will be returning, as I look forward to my fish and chip Fridays.

The older women who works at the bakery served me an ice cream cone that was served with bad chocolate shell sauce it did not look or taste how it should of. When I politely asked for another and explained why she had a huge attitude problem threw the ice cream in the trash and told me I couldn’t get another ice cream and to get out of the store she was not serving me.. I apologized and offered to pay for the ice cream and she said no. My fiancé and I went in the following day for breakfast and in Portuguese she told the other co worker what I assumed was not to serve me because she told me exactly that! Very disappointed! They served my fiancé however! WILL NOT BE SPENDING ANOTHER ONE OF OUR DOLLARS!

Every time I go there they are out of what I want and I get there at 4:00 pm. I ask if I can place an order and they tell me NO then I see Portuguese speaking people walk in and pick up their orders. I feel like I'm not really that welcome because I'm not Portuguese enough to shop there. BTW Taunton Ave Bakery has what I need and is welcoming to me. Even though I don't speak the language.

A must-stop when I am on the east side of the bridge! Anything you pick will be delicious, but the bread is amazing and so is the rice pudding!

We never got the chance to meet in person since I live in Florida, so my mom visited the shop for me—but even just over the phone, Carina was so kind and easy to work with. She totally understood the vision I had in mind and executed it perfectly. I could not be more obsessed with how our cake turned out—both in look and flavor! We went with a tiramisu wedding cake (YES, tiramisu!) and a marble sheet cake with vanilla buttercream. Everything tasted amazing, looked beautiful, and matched our vibe exactly. Thank you, Carina, for making cake dreams come true from afar!

Andrea worked with us to create a delicious and beautiful wedding cake. She gave us samples of different cakes to choose from, and they were all wonderful. She also worked with us to decorate the cake based on our wedding topper, in that we wanted a tropical theme. She was able to source florals to add to the cake, and we were so in love with the end result. Not only did our cake look amazing, but it tasted so great as well. Our guests really enjoyed the flavors as well. We are so happy we went with Andrea to create a centerpiece for our special day.

My dad found this bakery online so we weren’t sure how the cake was going to turn out…but Carina E Dolce wowed us! The cake and all the little details were so cute but the flavor was also delicious! We just got vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, nothing exciting on paper but when vanilla is done right it is very good. Every single person at the party ate the cake and talked about how tasty it was. If you are in Rhode Island definitely try this bakery.

The cake was absolutely stunning, exactly how I envisioned it! But the real surprise was the taste… it was PERFECT. I usually end up with leftovers when I order from other places, but not this time! Thankfully, I had the foresight to set aside a slice for myself because the cake was the star of the party completely gone, with guests even going back for seconds. Carina e Dolce has been a part of my family’s birthday cakes twice and has not disappoint. Stunning and delicate designs. Made my vision come to life for my sons Dino cake and recently created a vintage cake for my sisters 21st bday exactly or even better than the inspo I provided. Will be working with them for years to come. Totally recommend.

I was lucky enough to get to use Andrea for my wedding and since then have been hooked on her amazing flavors and designs. I am so grateful she said yes to my massive 200 cupcake order for community outreach. Extremely affordable, amazing passion for her craft, and an exceptionally talented artist. 10/10 recommend ❤️

The design that I gave her, she did it just fine. Flavor wise, I did not like the flavor nor frosting. I had asked for buttercream, however it tasted just like lard. The design on the cake was incomplete, and I did not notice until I had gotten home (the cake was facing towards me). For it being a tall cake, I was expecting more than 2 supporting dowels, the cake was falling. I gave it a try, however I won’t bring going back.

I was wondering why the zeppola tasted like strange and then I saw a box sticking out of their dumpster that said "french donuts" these are previously frozen from a food manufacturer and come in bulk cases. This wasn't a true zeppola and it wasn't good either. It seems like a French donut topped off with cream. But I asked if they are made in house and was told that they are, and so is the cream filling. Something is not adding up here.

I arrived at the end of the day, just before 6 PM weekday closing time. I got 3 pieces of pastry for about $7.00, not bad considering the rise of everything prices , since gas prices have gone thru the roof. An elephant ear, a large chocolate chip cookie, and a cinnamon stick(the best) for $7. I also gave serving staff a $1 tip, as they don't make much. They also have other soecialty pastries, like Russian tea cakes, homemade cookies, Italian bread, and rolls for sandwiches or meal side. Suggest to get their early for best selection. Open 6 days a week, around 9-6 weekdays, and closed Mondays. Not exactly sure if week end hours are the same. A nice sweet ending 🎂 dessert after your dinner, or just some coffee and complements to share with friend or family get togethers. dessert adventures! 😊

I love their spinach pies with the perfect ratio of bread to spinach! I like that they are small. Only problem I have had is getting to the bakery at the perfect time, after the spinach pies have been made but before they sell out.

Ordered a Zuppa Inglesia cake a couple of weeks ago. Very disappointing. It had a very verg strong taste of licorice, which I don't care for. The decor of the cake was poor. The filling and cake layers uneven. Overall appearance marginally ok. The taste definitely not something I would go back for. Had to pick it up on Sunday because there closed for a holiday on Monday. The cream on the cake tasted funny. The bakery itself looks clean and had a nice layout. The emplyees were very kind, courteous and very helpful. They are great! They definitely need to improve their cake decorating skills and cake making.

I found their selection of sweets too limited. I bought a half dozen cupcakes and when I got home I tried one immediately. It was dry and too sugary. The service was good, many repeat customers were in there - first name recognition. Too bad I won't be one of them. This was my first and only visit there.

Got pies from here for Thanksgiving and everyone raves about the pumpkin pie. It was the best we’ve ever had! This was the first year the apple pie was less popular than pumpkin!

Overall, I am not too impressed. The spinach pies and some of the pastry are good, as well as the service. The problem is the bread is not that great and their large is smaller than the small loaf at Calvitto’s. If you are looking for a pie, don’t bother going during the week. The only reason I go there as much as I do is that it’s in easy walking distance. Otherwise Calvitto’s and Deluise it is for me.

First time there and won’t be back. The owner gave me an attitude because I asked for extra cream for my carrot cake. A simple “no” would have sufficed instead of the attitude that it was the perfect ratio and I didn’t need it. As you can see in the photos, the cream frosting was lacking for the amount of cake. Obviously the owner doesn’t know much about baking desert and had to be extremely rude on top of it. The food didn’t taste good at all.

I had a great experience here! I was traveling for work and needed both lunch food and a treat. This was just the place! I got 4 rolls, slightly warmed one, threw some chicken salad on top and it was the perfect lunch. I was nursing a molar extraction so I had to eat soft-ish foods, and I was so grateful to get something that felt like a real lunch rather than just yogurt and bananas! It really hit the spot. The owner/chef was so friendly and helpful when I needed advice of what to get, and everything that I bought was delicious. I am so grateful that dedicated GF places like this exist so I don't have to worry about cross contamination especially when I'm not at home. ❤️ But I wish I did live in Johnston so I could return!

I have two nieces that can only have gluten free food and my first thought for my wedding was to go to this place and have them make cupcakes for my nieces and they did such a great job I would recommend this place to anyone who has a gluten allergy

This place has the absolute best gluten free donuts and baked goods. The staff is super friendly. My daughter absolutely loves the pizza strips. The raspberry filled donuts are my favorite! Update: Must try the creme brulee!

Hands down the best gluten free bakery in RI ❤️ they've got donuts, chirros, muffins, cookies, brownies, cake pops, baguettes/breads, pizza and cupcakes. They even have mock tarts which are my personal favorite 😄 definitely worth the hour drive once a month. They're always trying out new flavors and products posted on their social media. Thank you so much for the deliciousness.

Our daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease & its been a struggle for the entire house. It's hard to tell an almost 6 year old that she can't have certain things like other kids can. Well we did some googling and found Three wishes bakery! They've been a life saver! Their cupcakes are delicious and tonight we tried their pizza dough and it was amazing! I'm so glad we can slowly Introduce her to the foods she loves as we let her stomach heal from the trauma. Can't wait to try their gnocchi next!

I seriously cannot believe how amazing the baked goods are and they are gluten free! I’ve been gluten free for over 12 years and lived in NYC with some of the best gluten free food & treats, and these treats beat them all! I’m so glad I found this place on my GF Find Me app and drove 40 min one weekend just to try them. I have now gone 2 weekends in a row and it did not disappoint. I will be going there frequently now. P.s. try the honey buns, churros, cinnamon roll donuts and danishes….they are a taste of heaven!! The owner is super sweet also, go meet him if you can!

Whisk Me Away is my favorite bakery in Providence. I'm not really a "sweets" person, but their salted chocolate cookies are honestly the best chocolate cookies I’ve ever had. They’re soft, rich, and the salt brings out the flavor in the best way. My partner, who does love sweets, inhales their creative donuts (like birthday cake) and other cookie varieties (like s'mores). They also make amazing savory items. I love their toaster strudels filled with bacon and cheese, and their savory rolls are like cinnamon rolls but with chive cream cheese or pizza-style fillings. Their maple bacon breakfast sandwiches are also fantastic. Just a heads-up that breakfast sandwiches are only available in the morning. They made my birthday cake this year and it was perfect. Moist, buttery, not too sweet. They also offer vegan options, which is great. The staff is always so kind when I stop in. My family has ordered from them in bulk for parties too. They don’t have a phone number, but they’re super responsive if you reach out through email or their website. Everything I’ve tried has been excellent. Check out their Instagram for pictures. If you're in Providence, go. You’ll want to try everything.

SO impressed with the desserts we ordered for our wedding. Everything was beautiful & delicious. The cake order was 100% customizable and Morgan truly made my vision come to life.

We worked with Morgan at Whisk Me Away for our wedding and could not recommend her more! She was extremely responsive and easy to work with and clearly a master of her craft. We ordered a small cake to cut and 15 dozen assorted cupcakes to be used as escort card holders going into our reception (a little something sweet to start off the night) and all were delivered flawlessly! We didn’t even have time to do a tasting so we went off her recommendations and each combination of flavors was out of this world. The best confectionaries I’ve ever had, everything tasted so fresh and thoughtfully curated. Our guests loved the cupcakes and we have already ordered a fresh cake to go with our 1 year anniversary frozen topper. We highly recommend Whisk Me Away for any of life’s bakery needs.

They just did a cake for my daughter’s college graduation and it was amazing. Very beautiful cake done in her college’s colors and it tasted just as great. We asked for chocolate and we got chocolate. Also bought some plain glazed donut from the case and they by far was one of the best donuts I had had in years.

Whisk Me Away came in clutch with the absolute best cheesecake I have ever eaten. It was an oreo style cheesecake, and it was the perfect consistency had me coming back for seconds and thirds. The occasion was my sister's birthday and she was absolutely thrilled to have such an awesome cake to devour. I loved it so much and can't wait to be back in Rhode Island to get another tasty treat ❤️

Amazing Bakery in Providence RI , I’ve been to a ton of the bakery’s and this one has a better coffee and pastry selection! Get there in time so you can get a cinnamon roll and some cookies you won’t regret it

Plenty of tables nicely spaced out with a full bar in the middle. Fun eclectic decor to look at including a shark head coming out of the wall which was a big hit with my kids. Had a high chair available which was nice and they provided cups with lids/straws for my children. Ordered burgers and mac and cheese. Food came out in a timely manner with nice presentation. Burgers were delicious with a good sauce. Mac and cheese was tasty as well. Server was friendly and attentive making sure we were well taken care of. Bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated. Great place overall.

Both the food and drink menus are very limited (This not a bad thing! Rather a place do a few things well then many things just ok) Went with 3 others, between us had 3 different cocktails, all very tasty. The bar mix was very plentiful for small price of $3 and one of us got the mac and cheese which smelled great and apparently tasted as good.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! The bar is a great spot for both beers and cocktails, with great atmosphere and friendly bartenders. In the mornings the coffee is among the best in Providence with plenty of light-filled, friendly space to work.

We went for dinner and it was some of the best tasting food in a while. Biscuits were out of this world. Cool relaxed vibe, full bar, and rotating beers on tap. I imagine their breakfast/brunch is even better. 10/10 would recommend.

Yes the staff is very friendly and all that but i have never been more underwhelmed by a sandwich. For a place that pretty much only serves sandwiches a tuna melt and a chicken club should be solid. I've had better sandys from a gas station (shout out to cumbys) Fries were good. Bar and pastries are probably great but if u want a sandwich ur better off anywhere else.

This is the perfect spot to grab an excellent cocktail and some light bites. Parking is a challenge but you can park in the lot by the (old) Long Live Beerworks just a little ways down the street or at the top of the hill by the Citizens Bank. It's a short walk over to a couple of bars and restaurants in the area. Highly recommend stopping in here!

Stopped by for RI Food Fights. The burger and fries were really good. The atmosphere was awesome, they had the windows open and the curtains were blowing in the wind, just a great experience!

Picked up this cake from Blush Bakeshop. Shop was very easy to find. It was ordered by my daughter and we Picked it up. Vegan and gluten free are tall orders for a cake , this was Fantastic and I am not vegan or gluten free, haha! So wonderful that everyone at the party got to "Eat Cake"! Beautifully decorated! The bit of leftovers we had were still great the day after!! Love this bakery!!

I happened to be near by and decided to stop by Service was great ! I bought a vegan chocolate chip cookie . It is very good . Parking was easy . No cash. They prefer you with plastic . You can order online as well . I def recommend this place and That’s the way the cookie crumbles !!

I'm so excited for Blush! I've been dairy free for almost 3 years and am loving all the new vegan options in Providence. Last week I had the rosemary potato pizza (Fridays only) and it was amazing! Today, I had the "bacon", "egg", and "cheez" on a biscuit and it was INCREDIBLE. I couldn't even tell it was vegan products. I followed that up with a spinach, feta croissant for lunch which was equally delicious (if I touch salty but I'm sensitive to that). Highly recommend a visit here soon!!

Everything made at Blush is truly made with love! The breakfast sandwiches, especially the biscuits, lattes and all the pastries are delicious, high quality and you would never know they are vegan. The customer service is warm and friendly and they made me the most adorable birthday cake with replicas of my two kitties! Cannot recommend enough!

One of my favorite vegan and GF spots in RI!! Blush doesn't get enough local credit for their delicious treats, accepting atmosphere and wholesaling to other vegan shops in the area. I love everything about this place from their rotating pastry menu to their incredible salted caramel flavor and bold espresso. I always find myself at Blush when I'm in Providence and I love it, even for folks with nonvegan diets. I appreciate the lovely staff, their fitting blush pink atmosphere and their accepting signage throughout the store.

The BEST bagels and rye in RI, hands down. The woman at the counter couldn’t have been kinder. They have lots of other great things too - rolls and buns and sweets. Best bagels around!!! Prices aren't so bad either! I always seem to get one for good luck as well! The kaplans have been in business for over 100 years and it definitely shows! The owner is as sweet as pie!

One of the best bakeries in America! Over 100 years in business, its a kosher bakery and perhaps New England's last Jewish Bakery. Operated by Master Pastry Chef Murray Kaplan, the rye bread is the best that you will ever have. And the bagels. And the cookies lol. And the Hammentaschen. Omg its all delicious!!!

I can’t believe we forgot to write a review for Eboni after raving about her cake for over a year! We got married in October 2022 and the entire experience with ordering from Eboni was smooth and top-tier. We wanted to give our guests 3 flavor options and went with vanilla, strawberry shortcake and carrot cake. Our anniversary tier was carrot cake which we just enjoyed for our first anniversary and it was still just as good as the day we got married! We were sticking to a tight budget but the cake was something we really wanted to splurge on. Eboni made the process super easy by providing us with links to several different options at different price budgets. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and ridiculously tasty and our friends and family still bring it up all the time! I have referred all my engaged friends and family to her and I encourage you to try her yourself and head over for a tasting!! You wont regret it!!

Homemade from scratch!

I had originally contacted Illuminated Oven to make a 6th birthday cake for my niece. It turned out perfectly, with zebra stripes and pink flowers with a big #6 on top all in fondant. I'm not a big fan of sweet stuff but the cake got me hooked. It was coconut cake with raspberry filling. We loved it so much, that my fiance (now wife) and I asked Illuminated Oven to do our wedding cake and our favors. We had the coconut cake with lemon curd filling plus a gluten-free grooms cake to match as we both have family members who are GF. We had no idea they did confections, but at the cake tasting we decided to do the Italian nougat for favors. Everything was beautifully presented and I was really impressed with how the owner worked with us. Of all the headaches we had planning the wedding, the cake was not one of them.

Really cozy spot with a nice vibe, loved the atmosphere and the decor. The staff was super welcoming and helpful, which we appreciated. The bathroom was very clean and smelled good. We tried the cheese fatayar, chicken shawarma, chicken kabab, Hummus, chocolate baklava, kunafa, and Arabic coffee. The cheese fatayar was a standout, seriously tasted like something straight from the Middle East! Reminded me of home! Hummus and bread were good portion! The chocolate baklava and kunafa were also delicious and hit the spot. The chicken shawarma had good flavor but was a bit too drenched in sauce, so the texture of the chicken kind of disappeared. The chicken kabab was decent, but for $15, the portion felt pretty small, plus no rice included, and some veggies The Arabic coffee was alright. It was a bit too dark and didn’t have the flavor we were hoping for. One thing that threw us off was the self-service setup. We were confused about how to order, where to get silverware, napkins, water, etc., and ended up having to get up several times during the meal. There’s a small cart by the kitchen door where you return dirty dishes, get water, and so on, but it’s tucked into a tight corner and wasn’t explained up front. That said, we still really liked a lot about this place and plan to come back to try more of the menu now that we understand how things operate. Maybe we’ll come at a less busy time next visit.

Probably the best meal I’ve had in 2025. Def do not skip the baklava, and you definitely get a lot of value for the prices (big portions!) Glassware was also very fun. Ordered: - chicken kabob - mezze platter w/ grape leaves & baba ganoush - spicy chicken shawarma wrap - fatayer, lamb & pepper - iced blackberry drink - turkish coffee with milk

Beautiful, cozy place. The service is great and the food amazing, so flavorful and fresh; the baklava is a must as well as their teas. Definitely a must visit when in Providence!

I will start by saying that the food was absolutely delicious and stunningly beautiful - a true feast for all the senses. The reason for the three stars was the confusing service model and unhelpful staff. I didn’t realize it was a counter service restaurant and apparently you are supposed to get a table before you order?? I still don’t know! When I asked for clarification/direction from the staff, they seemed annoyed and the man who took my order brusquely escorted me to a table in their outdoor alley space where it was shady and cold. The chicken kabob and cheese fatayer were outstanding. I might go back to try some other menu items but would just get take-out.

The baklava was good, but the knafeh was killer! It it hard to find good knafeh and this definitely scratched an itch I didn’t know I had. Ambiance inside is great too with warm lighting, Arabic writing on the walls and Middle Eastern music playing. I also got a ginger tea that was very spicy in the best sort of way, healing to my throat and balancing the sugar in the sweets. Would DEFINITELY come here again for that knafeh.

This place hands down has has the BEST baklava I have ever tasted, it's so fresh and they must use really high quality ingredients. I didn't even know I liked baklava that much until I had it here! The food is also excellent, fresh and delicious. I don't live in RI anymore but I make a point to visit here every time I'm in town. I love Aleppo Sweets!!

I’m a dasher, came to pick up an order and really, really needed to use the restroom, when I approached the door which said”vacant” when the girl yelled at me “Sorry, this is not a public restroom “ I identify myself and said I came to pick up an order. It is shameful and unacceptable that every time I come into the store, the young lady, specifically on the afternoon shift, always has an attitude. I like my coffee prepared a certain way, and she prepares it however she thinks it goes. Then I say to her, “Hey, but I asked you for this. “She yells at you and says, “No, you didn’t,” but then charges me extra for it. And it’s always the same young lady. Then she starts talking to herself saying how much she hates that job that she’s over it, If you are really over your job why are you even working there.

Employee read back my order in drive through however didn’t receive two items. As soon as I brought it in and mentioned it to another one, she turned around and said she did not charge me for the items. I stated “I don’t know why”. Her and another woman proceeded to talk shit, be disrespectful, to the point when I went to walk out, the young girl was acting like she was going to fight me screaming from behind the counter. Of course when I said, are you going to come out side and do something? She acted like someone was holding her back Tons of customers in the building witnessing this. This is my local Dunkin so I went through drive through the next day, once again the order was wrong by the same person. Although she wasn’t at the drive through window, when I pulled off she started swearing and screaming. Reporting to Dunkin and better business bureau and I WILL BE GOING BACK.

First time I have been in this Dunkin donuts The staff was very rude to me (especially the person who has the fake red Hair) I ordered an ice coffee and the girl waiting on me started to make it then left it sitting half finished and started waiting on customers coming in the door She made other customers ice coffee and mine still sat there I finally spoke up after a few minutes and the person who has the red hair came over and started being rude to me There was one person working the register and 4 people working the drive through But the staff member with the red hair should not be working with the public because of his/her attitude and how she speaks to the customers

Love the morning crew at drive thru. They're so fast and friendly. My orders always on point, the food and the coffee is always fresh. These girls will have my order ready before I even hit the window !!! Another plus... they have beautiful Asian girls that work there 😉

Best calzones and personal pizzas In RI. Small store, you can pass it quickly if not paying attention. Very busy, sell out by 2pm, so you want to get there early or order ahead, even small orders. Friendly people, same couple of people each time. You have to try. Prices are good. If you are looking for something specific, just ask. Seems like a nice family owned staple.

I have been going there since the early 1980's. Family business that has never deviated from quality Spinach Pie's, Calzones(It would take more than a week to try each one) Pizza Strips and individual Round Pizza to include white Pizza's I make a 5-10 mile detour to stop there. Go before 1:00PM because by 1:30PM they are sold out and they door maybe locked.

I was unable to complete my order due to the cashier’s repeated attempts to correct my grammar, which was unnecessary and inappropriate. This incident happened around 7:37 pm. I was speaking clearly and articulating my order, yet the cashier insisted on "correcting" my grammar rather than simply listening and taking the order correctly. This led to multiple misunderstandings and mistakes, and when I tried to clarify, I was met with attitude. If grammar lessons are required at this Dunkin' location, I’d be more than happy to provide guidance and direct the team to appropriate resources. To top it off, they questioned me with, “Why did you say ‘we’?” Instead of focusing on fulfilling my order.

I don’t understand this place, I always take my DUNKIN CUP to all Dunkin and I get my ice coffee for a refill price and then this Dunkin don’t do it??! Can someone explain why this Dunkin in specific don’t do refill when I literally have my own Dunkin cup.

Love this dunkin donuts, always a good experience. Almond milk cost 55 cents with tax extra, for anyone who has lactose allergy. I was told I was being fancy. So I had to dock a star. The place is usually pretty clean. Cops love this Dunkin donuts as well so it's a very safe location. The donuts and coffee are delicious. My favorite is the pumpkin latte with almond milk.

The word “express” is what brought me into this adorable Bakery Vibe coffee shop. It’s quaint, the staff was friendly, the food was good, and the cappuccino I ordered was made to perfection. Made my morning! Made me so happy. Fast service, friendly staff, good food is an easy recipe for customer satisfaction! Thank you Bagel express on broadway! Side note: Parking is tricky but that seems to be the norm in Providence. lol.

A great hidden gem! The bagels are fresh and have great texture. We ended up getting egg sandwiches with cream cheese on them. The sandwich was tasty, hot and delicious. This is a great spot to grab a dozen to go or to sit out on the sidewalk and eat a fresh sandwich. Definitely recommend. Staff was friendly and the lemon ginger green tea was so tasty. Initially wanted to go to the Nitro Bar but the line was out the door on the sidewalk and I’m glad we changed our minds.

The customer service is always great. A quick place to stop before work, I ordered a sunflower bagel toasted with pb&j- it was melting and messy exactly how a childhood favorite should be. Highly recommend ! ^ EDIT:: the service and quality have changed significantly, I don’t feel the same community feel or pride. Also, my bagel was not great and made with little to no pb&j as well as the wrong jelly. New England coffee is always an easy win

Its the best little coffee/bakery shop. Food is always fresh and delicious. My wife and i love it here and bring our children atleaat 1 weekend a month. Not to mention the owner, employees and regulars are the sweetest people.

The chill alternative to The Nitro Bar. The staff at Bagel Express are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I love spending Sunday mornings here. Great bagels, even better service!
