It’d be nice to enjoy the food on the bench. Lucky that Tassie sea gulls are still friendly to visitors. Remember to add your own salt when picking up your fish. Fish is fresh, crab stick, scallop, squid are around average. Personally I also enjoy fish n chips with some sauces.

Top quality seafood can be found at Constitution Dock. Plenty of options available with a number of vendors there. I chose Flippers and grabbed their package of Deep Fried seafood goodness. Cooked to perfection and on a crisp and chilly afternoon it topped a perfect afternoon.

My stroll led me directly to the vibrant food area around Constitution Dock, where a variety of food boats offered everything from classic fish and chips to fried chicken, burgers, and even gelato. With so many delicious options, I decided on a late lunch at Flippers. The friendly blokes working there recommended the Trevalla with Chips, and it was an absolute winner! They even offered a choice of seasoned salt, chicken salt, or salt and vinegar for extra flavour, a nice touch. It's a must-try while you're in Tasmania, as Trevalla or Flathead are the local stars, unlike the more common Barramundi, Flake, or Grenadier often served in Sydney and Melbourne. I enjoyed my meal right by the docks, where there's plenty of seating, and, of course, the ever-present seagulls hoping for a crumb!

ordered a combo with prawn chips flake and so on. They gave me four pieces of other fried fish instead. When I first checked, the young blonde girl insisted that was correct😅 Only after I took the review photo to question her again did they replace it with the proper combo — which was already cooked sitting there!! With a rude, impatient attitude and no apology at all.🤗 Felt very dismissive and discriminatory. Extremely disappointing experience.😅don’t want to assume anything, but I was being treated differently — possibly because of my race

Our stroll around the docks led us to the area with boats as restaurants, we went with what the locals were going with and it was fantastic! My husband had the trevalla and chips, I had the calamari and chips, both were absolutely delicious. The servings were fantastic, even my picky 3 year old enjoyed some of my calamari. The area had plenty of seating that we used while we ate our meals. Some of the best fish we've had in Tassie.

Plain old fish n chips never tasted so good, battered or crumbed, delicious. There is usually a wait, but it's worth it, even standing in the cold, or you can sit in your car, the car park's right on the Wharf! The container is always overflowing so you certainly get your moneys worth.

I am a fan of Nando’s and glad that it is available in Tasmania. Opens late until 10pm which makes it a good dinner option for hot food in this quiet city. Chicken perfectly cooked and peri peri fries are yummy. Supermarket is just close by which is convenient for grocery shopping after dinner.

Very poor customer service. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but I am extremely disappointed with the Asian waitress and the restaurant manager tonight. On Friday evening, I ordered a meal combo with sides of fries and spicy rice, along with three bottles of drinks. At the beginning, the Asian waitress, who seemed to be new, didn’t give us our drinks and didn’t double-check our order. When we received two portions of fries instead of one fries and one spicy rice, we were shocked and immediately told her she had made a mistake. She took one portion of fries away but returned later, saying the kitchen refused to replace it with the spicy rice we had ordered. Through a local waitress, we found out that the Asian waitress had told the kitchen it was a “change of mind” rather than her mistake. We spoke to her a second time, but the issue still wasn’t resolved. On the third attempt, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was extremely arrogant and refused to say even one word to us, acting as if we owed her money. Finally, they gave us a regular-sized spicy rice, even though we had ordered a large one. By that point, we were too tired and disappointed to argue any further and left the restaurant. To make things worse, the table we were seated at was very dirty, and we had to clean it ourselves before sitting down. This is the first time I’ve experienced a restaurant where a mistake in the order wasn’t corrected. I was shocked, as I had done nothing wrong—I just wanted to get the correct food. The local waitress was excellent; she tried her best to mediate but seemed to lack the authority to resolve the issue. We are very grateful to her, as she was one of the few staff members willing to help us.

The staff were lovely, though unfortunately the food was not up to standard. When we got to the car (we ordered takeaway) both of our burgers were cold on the bottom and in the middle and my wifes order of ribs turned out to be chicken wings upon opening the container. Not the end of the world, nothing the microwave can't fix when we get home but that's not quite the point. After a hard work week, a couple want their takeaway hot, no? Anyway, as i said, lovely service at least.

Placed an order 30mins ago, only to receive a text message that my food had been delivered. `Contacted the delivery driver, explained that I still have not received my food. said he delivered it to right address but it's actually the wrong address. Stated he would pick the food up and deliver again to right address. Not heard anything back since. Tried contacting Nando's to no avail. will be escalating this further

The staff at this Nando’s location make the whole experience stand out - the food quality and taste are incomparable to the other places, the genuine care is felt and shared, the atmosphere feels more like being at a family-owned place rather than at a chain restaurant. The service was amazing! The two gentleman working there are very friendly and helpful and ensures you get the best value for your money with the menu! We got the fish basket which was great value! However the chips were a bit cold, and had to add some chicken salt to it, if they were a bit warmer, it would have recieved 5 stars.

Delicious, fresh seafood - minimal coeliac safe options. It was extremely busy when we were here, but the guy was incredible! It was a one-man show, but he just got in with things in a seamless, efficient manner - cooked very tasty, fresh food and managed to prioritise tasks excellently. I was impressed, definitely couldn’t have done that. The prawns and scallops were unbelievable! Recommend.

Great location at Constitution Dock with view across to Mawson's Hut Replica. Fresh seafood including local Bruny oysters (large compared to Sydney rock oysters), fish and chips (vinegar) and calamari that melts in your mouth. Cooked and served by great staff in a floating cafe setting or takeaway. Definitely worth visiting

We have been looking to buy fresh seafood for home cooking, and saw this place from google. The first day we went quite late, not much fish left, and the handsome guy told us to return for fresh fish the next day. Fishes will arrive around 2.30pm. We went back the next day, indeed, many fishes and squids too! We bought a mackerel and a big squid from level 1. They help us to clean them. Both cleaned well and very fresh👍. Thanks guys!

We just got some takeaway on a Monday night. The scallops couldn’t be smaller and the blue eye fish was dry, like bad chicken breast. Really expected better for the price. Only decent bit was the calamari.

This is a floating walk up or dine in seafood place at the Hobart constitution dock. It’s relatively inexpensive and the staff is nice. There is seating inside, they do serve any alcohol but have an array of soft drinks available for purchase. Their prices on Oysters are very good in comparison with the rest of Hobart’s more fine dining restaurants which you would expect. I enjoyed the scallops (they are breaded and assumed fried) so not a normal choice for me, but oh well~ The fries are good as well.

The food is very good. But, I think it would be helpful if the staff asked new customers if they're familiar with the sushi system. As a first-timer, I was a bit confused about whether to grab dishes or order, and it took me a while to figure it out. Apart from that, the experience was good.

As it was our first time here, it was unclear for us on how to order as we were not seated at the conveyor belt. The tablet was quite slow and we did not know if the order came through or not. A little bit more guidance and attention from the staff upon entry would be nice. The sushi itself was great, and it has some nice options for people who don't eat raw fish such as chicken and tempura. Too bad that the wasabi needs to be ordered separately and needs to be paid for. It should be for free.

The food is absolutely amazing, sashimi is so fresh and mustard is not too much but tastes rich and long melted in your mouth. Cheese cake is a surprise again.

Reasonably good, food offering was extensive, simple to order over the ipad & service was quick & friendly. Train was a little bare, hence why I ordered off the ipad & waited a 4-5 minutes each dish. Good location by the wharf precinct, paid parking near by

Went in for a quick lunch and although I had a ok lunch, I thought the menu selection was relatively basic. Perhaps some temakis. Free wasabi portioned out of a tube was very bland without flavour. Water is self service without a sign. Staff was friendly.

Extremely disappointed. The quality of the sushi was terrible — not fresh at all and poorly prepared. On top of that, the hospitality was just as bad. Staff were unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. Definitely not coming back and would not recommend. Also the price increased quite a lot since last time we visited (around 6 months ago) Hokkaido is a better option

We are regular diners at Sushi Track......late lunchtimes mostly, after the office lunch rush. Always find the staff very friendly and helpful, led cheerfully and efficiently by FOH Hitomi and Shingo. We almost always choose from the ipad thingy and, although we are never in a hurry, and usually space out our selections, we find the drinks and food selections always arrive in a timely manner. The food is always excellent and we love the generous squeeze of free wasabi which goes straight into our soy sauce dishes for dipping. Highly recommend. R & J.

Ate here a few times and was satisfied with the food and serving size for the price. Had rice, noodles, and chicken for the meals I had. It’s quick, cheap and most importantly it’s open late at night when no other restaurants are open in Hobart. My go-to food in the evenings at times. Just next door to Woolies

Good value meals. The seafood laksa and sizzling pepper beef were tasty. However, the dim sims were small.

Dreadful. Ordered the tofu stir fry, it turned out to be oil soup. Little veggies and little tofu. it smelt weird and tasted of burnt oil. I had to strain the bottom bit through a sieve to try and remove some of the oil - it was dripping in it (see photo). Only ate it because it was late and I was starving. Partners lemon chicken was soggy and tasteless. Shudder, never again

Kung Pao chicken’s too salty. Chicken and corn soup was amazing, tho. However, a really good price overall, super cheap with huge portions as well, so can’t complain!

Came here for an early dinner and placed in an order for Wonton Noodles Soup, Singapore Noodles, Pork Boiled Dumplings, Potato Prawns, and Crispy Prawn Dumplings. We sat down, and the male at the cashier instructed us to take the menu and sit anywhere. I was taken aback by the seating area. It felt dirty, and there was a smell when we sat down. I went to order, and the guy taking the order was quite rude and kept interrupting me when I was trying to order. The food, on the other hand, was a bit better. The boiled dumplings were delicious, and so were the potato prawns and crisp Prawn Dumpling. Whereas the Wonton noodle soup was a big disappointment. I originally wanted the Beef Noodle Soup, but they didn't have it, and so I ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup. The noodles were ok, and the Wonton tasted a little like durian for some reason. The Singapore Noodles were alright as well, not much taste to it besides the spiciness. Overall, the price for all of it was on the lower side. Food was alright, but the place was a little dirty for me, and the server was a little rude.

Is this traditional pan fried dumpling? cuz I had been to many Chinese restaurants and everywhere it was same but this one. It wasn’t bad though. Food was average, good dine in space & average service. Overall, it was an ‘ok’ experience.

We are from Melbourne and we went here because it was an easy dinner while we’re down here and to say we’re disappointed would be an understatement. We did a DoorDash order and the dumplings came soggy and gross and even the beef noodle dish we ordered was just soggy and barely edible. Really not good at all

Good little spot here, most of the food was tasty and especially the oysters from bruny island(amazing) they are also very reasonable. The fish and chips were very good, the only downfall was the extra bits like scallops and calamari just feels pre bought and average

I was looking for fish and chips for dinner in Hobart CBD. Someone recommended Mako Seafood, but there was no wait at Fishy Business so I gave them a go. Ordered a meal deal including 3 pieces of fish, small chips and a salad. There were sauces and salt on the counter to add yourself. Fishy Business has collected a few negative reviews, but my meal was fine. Big portions, cooked well, all tasted good. I was hungry and this meal really hit the spot. No dine in here, purely takeaway which suited.

Fishy Business was absolutely AMAZING! My boyfriend and I tried this spot out for lunch. We shared a fisherman’s basket for 2 and everything in the basket was absolutely scrumptious we can’t complain! 5 stars all around! I highly recommend Fishy Business!

The fish was beautiful, crispy skin with moist flakes on the inside. Service was great. Nice little spot to sit around the back and look out onto the water. Very quiet.

What a great way to enjoy fish and chips on the ‘dock’. The fish tacos were amazing, although the taco was more a souvlaki wrap. The blue grenadier was delicious and so lightly battered that the flavour of the fish was incredible. The chips… well. Certainly did not hit the mark but the dim sims and potato cakes were so good that the chips remained left behind. When your competition is so close, you need to make sure you’re still ‘up there’. Fishy Business, keep on trying.

A medium chowder, served in a takeaway coffee cup, was a thick slop. Fish was dry, chips were soggy, scallops the size of a large pea. Just don't bother.

I visited Cyclo Vietnamese Restaurant today, and it exceeded my expectations! The cozy, laid-back vibe makes it easy to settle in and relax. Every dish I tried was packed with vibrant flavors that tasted so fresh and authentic, it felt like a little trip to Vietnam🇻🇳 If you’re after a delicious and enjoyable dining experience, Cyclo is definitely worth a visit!

I love this place so much. If you want a bussin pho, banh mi, or ricepaper roll, cyclo has got you. If i could rate it higher i would, the staff is excellent and nice, and the authenticity is top tier. Their pho tastes exactly like my vietnamese grandmother's, warm and rich. If you have not yet been, please do, you wont regret it.

Food was ok. Highlight for me were the Pork Spring Rolls. The Lemongrass Beef Noodle Salad and Beef Pho were good and had their respective flavours. The let down were the Rice Paper Rolls. We ordered the Pork, the Duck and the Prawn. Pork was the best but the other two were disappointing as we couldn’t even taste the main ingredient and lacking flavour. Lucky for the Peanut Sauce but even that only had very little Hoi Sin. Overall, I think the Rice Paper Rolls were too packed with noodles giving the perception of value for money but missing pickled carrots, fresh cucumbers and Vietnamese Mint which could’ve improved the rolls. For $5 a pop for one, you would expect just a little more flavour. The service without a doubt was great. This place is BYO which is a plus.

It used to be my favourite place to eat I ordered from here 3–4 times a week for around four years. I always got the special pho with extra oxtails or the beef Vietnamese burger, and my friends and I really enjoyed it. But lately, the quality of the meat has been very poor and inconsistent compared to how it used to be. Before, when I ordered extra oxtails, the staff would always put 2–3 extra pieces in a separate container. Now, one of the new staff members or maybe the owner, I’m not sure only adds one small extra oxtail. I’m a 174 cm, 49 kg girl, and I’m still hungry after finishing the dish. For $30, I shouldn’t leave the meal still hungry. It seems like the owner is using cheaper, lower-quality meat now, and the overall food quality has dropped a lot. It’s really sad for me because this was my favourite place to eat in Hobart, and now I’ll have to find another one.

The soup base for the pho was pretty good but thought the meat was a bit tough. Overall it was a hearty meal and was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of the food. Staff there were friendly and we were taken care of. The pork was a bit too salty for our liking as well but that could just be personal preference.

Binod and the team were an absolute godsend! Next level customer service, could not have been more friendly or accommodating when I rolled in late and exhausted when they were on the cusp of closing. At a time when purse strings are getting tight, reward those who go above and beyond. Oh yeah, the menu and price point was pretty awesome too!

I ordered pizza from here and I must say the smoking hot young man in white hyundai came and gave me my pizza. I was so stunned i just had to order again and this time another smoke show came in the red golf and hand delivered my pizza aand kissed my hand as if i was royalty.

Worst pizza I've had in my life. They used about a kilo of pepper. Never again.

Great pizza in the middle of Hobart. The base was deliciously fluffy - almost like a focaccia. Toppings were generous - we got the pulled pork pizza and it had a great flavour combo (for those who like pineapples on pizza 🤠) Shout out to the guy who chased after the drunk lady who stole our pizza LMAO. Great Pizza in the heart of Hobart! Medici makes delicious takeaway pizza that is hard to beat. When I was visiting Hobart for work and just wanted a simple dinner, the pizza I got from here went above and beyond what I could have expected. You can easily order online, pick up quickly and then enjoy your delicious Pizza! There was a big line of people waiting, so it's clearly a popular place. I will definitely come back.

40 minute wait on a Monday night not great. Not overly busy either. Pizza was somewhat bland, nothing special, which was unfortunate. The three very young people I saw running it were doing their best but base was nice, just toppings similar to making one at home.

While it is known as a fantastic spot for enjoying pizza, my friend and I found ourselves waiting for our order indoors when the two staff members at the counter decided to increase the volume of the music. Unfortunately, this made the environment quite loud, making it difficult for us to converse or comfortably wait. As a result, we opted to move outside where it was more manageable.

Medici is the pizza paradise for non-veg pizza lovers. They serve a wide range of pizza in different sizes from whole pizza to a slice of pizza on the go. They also offer fusion pizza like half and half. I have been to this place twice as I really loved their vegetarian pizza, unfortunately they are not consistent with the veg pizza. The second time I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the following: 1. Vegetarian tradition pizza: RECOMMEND—The pizza had so much of chess and very few veggies on it. however, my first experience was really good. The pizza was loaded with veggies and perfect amount of cheese on it. 2. Margarita: NOT RECCOMENDED- The tomato base is too strong for a margarita, which is a complete turn off. The quantity of cheese is good on this one (just had this first time not sure how its going to turn out if I order again.)

Waiter and waitress doesn't seem all time professional. Fortunately the pizza are good. The staff sometimes seems more concerned with showing attitude than being professional. It felt like some of the waitresses were more focused on flirting with customers than on service. it sometimes comes across as pathetic. Personnaly I go there just for the pizza. I take the pizza, and I move.

Just try one. Fluffy, crispy bread with generous topping. Wish i tried it sooner on my visit to Hobart, I would have eaten this every night! Thank you to the workers there, Excellent product.

The flatbread quality was great . The kebab was delicious and filling!. As this is my first proper kebab ( non skewered kebab ) it definitely met my high expectations. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place!.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! Such a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food~ even when swamped they're incredibly friendly; I could hear the manager encouraging the workers during the busy times and it was so refreshing. If you're looking for late night eats, skip the Macca's and support this business! Reasonably priced too 😊

I ordered through uber eats last night, I’m trying to get a refund through them. The food was very disappointing to say the least, we paid $10 for chicken wings and only got 2, we also asked for only lettuce and cheese to be in one, and no lettuce in the other. This was not followed. The bread used was wrong, it wasn’t toasted and they ignored our order instructions. Will not be ordering from here again. What a waste of money.

Best kebab I’ve had! Has the predator kebab, perfect amount of spice. Was delicious! Very friendly staff, even got given a free scoop of chips. Would highly recommend.

I’d rate this HSP one star. If you’re giving it five, you really need to try Kabul Kebab or even Liverpool Kebab—they’re way better. The taste is just bad, and everything from the chicken to the fries is soggy. 😢

Food and coffee is good. However, we were initially over charged by nearly $10 but lucky I picked it up. That was reimbursed. We requested the cake to be heated and it wasn't. We ordered cappucinos but was given flat whites.

Nice vibe, generous portions, great view, cheerful owner, excellent 'dirty chai'... a pleasant surprise right next to the ferry wharf! Only suggestion would be to offer some more local fish varieties (trevalla?!) for the otherwise tasty fish & chips meals.

Five stars isn't enough to describe the service! 😊 Initially, I was disappointed - no grilled fish. My wife is gluten-intolerant, so battered fish doesn't work for her. As I was walking away, I realised that I wasn't just disappointed that they couldn't do grilled fish, I was disappointed about not being able to buy from the enthusiastic, helpful, *engaged* man behind the counter. It's weird, but I felt that by not getting my lunch from him, I'd be, somehow, missing out! As I say, weird! Approaching my car, I had a minor epiphany - it's not the grilling of the fish that's important, it's the gluten that's the problem. So, back to the counter and decribed what I needed (GF) rather than what I thought I wanted (grilled) and, lo and behold, got the response "We don't usually do GF but the cook [sorry, I can't remember his name] does a mean GF batter if you're willing to wait a few extra minutes...?". Wow! Absolutely! 😃 The food itself...? - fish (barramundi): nice sized portions and well cooked - chips: a good quantity, crispy and well seasoned - salad: just enough to feel like you're being a bit healthy, without detracting from the *real* food. And the batter - yep, as promised 🙂 So, I can't promise that you'll always be able to get GF batter, but, from my experience, you can expect good food, at a reasonable price, from a crew that looks after you.

We had a lovely relaxing lunch at Hooked on the waterfront at Bellerive. We had a lamb souvlaki and a calamari souvlaki, both of which were very tasty and filling. Coffee was very good too. We would have liked one of the delicious looking cakes on offer but were too full. Next time. Anastasios was a very welcoming happy host with everyone who came in for lunch. Overall, a very enjoyable experience for us. Thank you.

We had lunch in the city then decided to come here for cake/coffee. The new owner is very welcoming. The cake selection and coffee are still as good. We used to visit Hooked quite often as we loved this little cosy spot by the harbour but was put off by the unfriendly service of the previous owner. Glad we gave it another try. Will definitely dine-in and sample the mains next time.

We had such a great experience at Hooked on Bellerive. The customer service was outstanding, and the food and coffee were excellent. It’s always a nice feeling to go out and be genuinely valued as a customer. I highly recommend.

I wish I saw more of this chain in New Zealand, as it was such a relief to see healthy and unique dishes at reasonable prices. Even for an airport this was priced very reasonable. The food was really delicious and healthy. The staff was rather unfriendly, did not serve with a smile which was quite disappointing.

if you want value for money, and basic customer service, this is not the place. after letting staff know multiple times about our online order, the staff ended up just leaving our food on the counter for 10 minutes without even trying to let anyone know there was an order complete until we had to ask again if our order was ready. we end up eating a cold and tiny burrito that’s falling apart and burrito bowl ($18.70 for a bowl that size!? and you pay extra for guac and you get a spoonful!?) we weren’t expecting much from this place, but what a let down :(

Bought a chicken borrito bowl. With extra chicken. Hardly any chicken present at all. Very disappointing. If I pay $18 for food, and specifically order extra protein, it's reasonable to expect there would be quite a lot of chicken. I'd expect more chicken if I didn't even order the extra. I doubt there was even close to the amount of even one chicken thigh of meat in this bowl. Absolute rip off. Won't eat here again.

I went in to live, eat the other day to order a salad in a bowl. It looked lovely. I didn't have a chance to go anywhere else I was in a hurry and I paid the price. And when I went to eat it, I was disgusted in what you get for that amount of money you pay I'm disgusted in the price you charge for mostly lettus. a bit of shredded chicken. egg croutons and a bit of Mayo. I'm very disappointed in the prices that you charge. I will never ever go in there again. I've told lots of my friends and they don't go there either and this is why, this will be spread around all by word and mouth, so I think you need to change your prices. You'll get a lot more people coming in, but I will never pay that amount of money for mostly lettus it is shredded chicken ever again.

I went there around 1:30. The tables were covered with dirty trays, and I ended up eating a loosely rolled burrito at one of the larger tables. It was okay—at least it was hot. A staff member came by and cleared the trays, but she didn’t wipe the table, which was still covered in food crumbs. I waited, thinking she’d come back to clean it properly, but she never did. As I was leaving, I noticed three staff members chatting casually behind the counter. Really disappointing cleanliness standards. I’ll be sticking with Zambrero from now on. Oh, and they charge $6.80 for a bottle of Kombucha—ridiculous. P.S. It’s been three hours and I’m starting to feel sick. I had the chicken burrito. I’ve also seen another person mention feeling unwell after eating from the chicken menu, so I’m starting to think there might be a connection.

First time here. One major fault: If you respect rice, don't get it here. It's death via overcooking (I'm guessing boiling and straining). Please, please, please get a rice cooker and teach the proper way to cook rice. Otherwise, the bowl was well presented. Taste was average because the falafel was on the dry side (it's about the same with the Yumi's original falafel you get from Colesworth). I'd come back but definitely sub out the rice. The rare beef pho is really authentic. Soup is tasty. Chicken pho also good. Lemongrass beef noodles salad also good, but beef is a bit too soft. Staff are friendly. Medium size restaurant. Very quick service. Seating are comfortable. Very convenient with bus. Just in the middle of shopping area. Price is average.

We have now visited here on numerous occasions and have been met with the same wonderful quality food which deserves a 5 star review. Tried and recommend the Crispy roast pork banh mi, Lemongrass beef banh mi and the BBQ Pork Char Siu banh mi. The roll is fresh, nice crunch without being too hard to eat and the fillings are so tasty. Great portion sizes. Especially with the soup selections. The beef brisket pho is a must try along with the special pho and the mixed meat Bun bo hue. All very tasty with a lovely gloss to the broth. Very wholesome. Seating can be tight and it can get busy BUT the food is truly delicious. It’s worth a stop in.

Found this random banh mi shop in Hobart which seemed to be popular with the locals. Tried it out and it came out to be one of the best banh mi I’ve had in Australia. The crispy pork was so good and their pate was amazing. It was so good that I had to get another round of this on another day instead of trying out other restaurants in Hobart as a tourist. This is a highly recommended place if you’re a banh mi fan.

Vegan banh mi and vegan pho was very good. The vegan meat was very unique. You can order at the counter, QR code and big screen. Definitely would go again.

The beef rib bun bo hue is literally so amazing. The portion was huge also. Really delicious and great value for money

This was a great place to get traditional Vietnamese food. The Banh Mi tastes like you are in Vietnam. My wife enjoyed the noodle soup. The Vietnamese coffee was great and would have been perfect without a paper straw. You have to order at a kiosk but that frees up the staff to focus on making and delivering food.

used to the best Vietnamese bánh mì in Hobart which recognized by most Vietnamese. But today I had a worst ever roast pork banh mi in my life. The meat is old and stale, the pickle is absolutely tastes weird, I can’t finish it. I hope my stomach is ok today.

Batter was gluggy and uncooked, fish was a little uncooked, chips cooked in old oil. It was the end of the day on a Sunday, but that is prime fish and chips time. Quite disappointed, actually went back to show them but they had closed for the day. Won't return.

I just went on a walk, looking for a bite, I stumble across a takeaway shop, what a delight, I glance at the menu to see what’s upon and see a chicken burger named the scorcher, I think about the price, $15 I hand him a 20 alongside a redbull $19.50, I wait for my meal my stomach is grumbling, I get handed my burger, i light up inside, redbull In hand I walk away, I sit at the beach about my day, I unwrap the burger mouth moist, my taste buds dance as the succulent burger Enters my mouth, I think to myself “wow what a amazing burger I have in my hands”

Ordered 2 Baramundi crumbed fish. It definately was not baramundi even when I brought to their attention showed them the very dark & mushy fish. They did not offer a refund orcanother fish repacement . We drove there on recomendation from resident in Huonville. Paid $27 for chips as we fed the seagulls the mushy grey fish.

Tiny amount of chips and fish not much bigger than the slice of lemon, we got two portions of Barramundi and chips for takeaway, when I picked up the boxes they felt really light but just drove home without looking. Was very dissapointed with portion size, wont go back. It used to be good value. Taste was good but terrible value for money. Both ordered were the same.

$9 worth of chips, banana for scale. Pictures speak volumes. One was a bastion of great fish and chips in Kingston, so it’s sad to see how they’ve fallen.

Unhygienic serve into the plate from staff. Too oily chicken curry; could even feel the oil while chewing. The naan roti was too roasted, sturdy to chew. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a good lunch.

Good value for money. Fresh, warm, and delicious Indian curry is here in this Little India store. Dine-in or take-away is possible. Nans(plain and garlic versions) and a steamed rice were ordered with a separate Chicken curry, which was a perfect meal for a late lunch. Overall taste was good enough to revisit this place. Highly recommended!

YUM YUM YUM! Absolutely beautiful dishes with plenty of vegetarian options available. Large serves and I recommend dining in. The fresher the better so get lunch once they open and enjoy. Don't worry about cutlery, add a naan to your meal and eat with your hands, it's beautiful!

I even dont want to give one star and would like to give -100 as food was disgusting, got sick after just had half naan as I was soo hungry. I ordered the curry with garlic naan. Curry was very yukky, lots of oil, too much spices and naan, they took it from box, pasted the garlic paste infront of me and gave it to me. naan was very cold, hard to eat and very awful taste. And they overfilled my plate, curry was everywhere. I strongly recommend don't eat food here until unless you want medical certificate for sick leave.

This was disappointing. My partner and I and our 3 year old had lunch here last weekend. I should have seen the “early sign” when we ordered a kids burger meal and they said “we don’t have any kids burgers at the moment”. Ah it’s a weekend how do you not? But also, it would be customer service to just make a cheese burger and sell it at the children’s price surely. No he just starred for me to choose something else. I ordered the Mr Burger and when it was delivered it had basically a mini full lettuce in the burger, as pictured. The core was sooo hard it is a wonder I didn’t break my teeth. I’m sorry but the “chef” would have known they were puting that in a burger unless they were blinded folded. How could you think that was acceptable to put that in a burger and serve it? We called over and mentioned it to the male staff member and he just laughed it off. Very unprofessional.

Mr Burger Cafe has to be one of the best burger places I've been to. They are all really friendly, have a great menu, and the food comes out quickly. They have some of the tastiest GF burger buns. My only wish is if I could come more often.

I came here was quiet late. I got a lot burger was nice. My friend got a simple Burger minus the pickles. We also shared a loaded truckers chips. I thought it was very expensive for what it was. The food was nice a little too saucy. The chips where not that fresh.

Well, Mr Burger, you came so close to getting 5 stars, but once I read my receipt from BK, you lost that vital star. Service was prompt, staff appeared to be friendly, food looked good and tasted great and prices seemed OK. I wasn’t asked for my first name or given an order number, but if I didn’t have thick skin I could have been feeling more pissed off than I am, by the lack of ID professionalism and common courtesy. The receipt showed me down as “Old Man”. Sure being 71 is both a gift and a pain in the arse sometimes, but you don’t have to rub it in. What would your system or employees put down for a man or woman in say their mid ‘80s, “Old Geeza” or worse ? Think it’s time to show some genuine respect to your customers, whatever their age ! You may not reply to this or you may delete it, but either way, suggest you take it on board and extend that 4 star into a 5 star rating FAST. I’m heading back to South Australia on Sunday. Stopped in for coffee and small breakfast on my way out of town, after seeing an Instagram reel earlier in the week. Super friendly staff, very quick service and the food was just perfect. Will definitely make this a regular eating place next time I visit Hobart.

We had an Uber eats delivery. The portion sizes were tiny. We had no meats on the nachos, and it was virtually a bowl of corn chips with sparse toppings, guacamole and sour cream. We go to Live Eat a lot and are used to good food from most stores.

Picked up a couple of the kids chicken and rice bowls. I know they're only $4.95, but compared to other L/E the boys have had them at, the portion sizes were pretty underwhelming. And they charged $1.10 for chipotle sauce. Other stores do it for free, and that squirt of sauce was also tiny. Tastes good, but do better.

Reasonable price with many different options. Inside of the shop, it's pretty spacious place and good mood for a cup of coffee or a quick and light meal. They also sell milk and juice. Take away smoothies with various choices.

20 minute wait on my 15 minute break with 2 people in line, scoop of 1/2 pork juice 1/2 actual pork on nachos that then got such a big handful of cheese it covered everything completely and was all that could be tasted. Unfortunate as it's my favorite place for lunch but they seem to only have 2-3 capable and respectful workers, second review I've made, I don't get nachos for the cheese

I visited this location both yesterday and today and had the same experience each time. I had to wait around 10 minutes before being served, even though two staff members were present. Only one of them was actually helping customers. The other appeared to be busy with other tasks and didn’t acknowledge me, even after making eye contact. Bad customer service. While I appreciate the efforts of the indian girl who did assist me, it would be great if next time customer would be served as i wasted 15 minutes of my break by just waiting. Also days by days portion is going smaller. You simply lost a regular customer. 👌

We got a small Signature Bowl with Pork. The portion sizing has seriously gone down and I wonder whether the employee was under yielding the serve. The bowl was half full. Rice and beans cold, lettuce looked old (wasn't chopped fresh that day), guac was going brown. For $13.70 I feel ripped off as it left a lot to be desired.

Need to support junior staff better! Restaurant not busy but the junior staff member that served me got confused by my order, overfilled and then couldn’t wrap the burritos, forgot the order and then another staff member put the wrong sauce in my burrito to hurry him along rather than offer to help. Disappointed

I have been regular customer of Zambero for 5 years. Now i will ever come back will go to liv and eat The customer server i think she is of indian heritage and her name is teisha which she told me .. I waited for me long 7 mins to be served. Since the regular burrito wrapped is 14$ every staffs in zambero gives 3 sauce . she refused to give me that and rudely said it is only allowed 2 sauces.. make me feel embarrassed in front of other customers. I will never recommend to any of my friends and hope Zambero steps up

Twice in a row I have turned up to pickup my online order and the staff are continuing to serve the line in store and only prepare my order when I ask for it. I was told the instore queue takes priority and I should just come in and get in the queue. Something is not right with this. At least the burritos are good.

Food was cold not at least WARM. Always took long time to take order, we know they have good technology to order online but older clients can’t do that. Even let staff know to change chips at least and he changed with bad face expression. And look at the cheese in burger as I will add picture. And client is like it’s a waste of money. Always disappointing, I used to go with different clients but every time the same issues. Atmosphere is ok.

To be fair I did go into the store at 6.45pm on a Saturday, all I ordered was 2 sundaes. Didn't leave the store until 7.30pm. There were heaps of uber drivers waiting to pick up. When they gave me the sundaes they were really melted. The person who gave me didnt even look me in the face as she knew it was crap. All the staff looked deflated and they didnt seem to have enough staff on. This place appears to have really poor supervisors/managers. I worked 5 years at Mecca's when I was a teenager and my word has the place fallen off a cliff. Only reason the people in this store has jobs is because Mecca's sells itself. In no rush to go back to this particular store, and its always dirty inside

Every time I’ve come here to pick up an Uber order, the front counter staff have been very rude and dismissive. I understand everyone is busy, but on several occasions I’ve seen them wrap up the order and just leave it aside without even calling the number. It would make a huge difference if they could greet people politely, ask who we’re here for, and give a proper response. We’re all just doing our jobs,they sell the food and we deliver it,there’s no need for such attitude.

could of been a very pleasant meal but there is not a single table that does not have rubbish and food on it. I saw a worker go and deliver food with a dine in tray, and then he ignored the other dine in tray with rubbish on it and he did not even look at it. felt dirty and grotty from dining in your pigsty. I got a big mac sauce to go with my wings and got the smallest dob of sauce in a cup.

Today i did order one large meal, normally it was two patties inside, when i asked to staff why i have one patty in this burger, one staff was trying to explain me, other aussie young girl, she was continue laughing & making fun & calling me with her finger. it was very bad customer service & that young girl need some training on moral values & how to deal with customers.

Annoyed because they got our meal incorrect and missed food and order and one wrong drink. Plus food missing.plus no straws.Three drinks no cup holder. I Had to wait 15 mins in Parking bay only to get back to hotel. Away in Hobart navigating one way streets. So had to get back 20mins. One drink tipped over in car. Had taken food upto kids realise food missing and mistake. Only to be told we took away the coke (instead of shake) so had to pay for another drink. Then had to pay for nuggets as they apparently hadn’t been put through the first time. So another $24 for extra then had to wait another 15mins in bay again. For 3 chicken nuggets!

Food goes wrong very often, such as chicken nuggets are missing today. I don't check the food in the car as that will slow down others. And I won't come back to report the mistake. Please make it right. On the other hand, order on mobile app always fails. This doesn't count towards the score(not the fault of this store). You only lost a few of my big orders, which I don't want to talk on the drive thru or on the counter.

Let's start with the food as that is most important yet the chick strip I got was cold and old if it's cold and the potato bake look miserable even tho I didn't get it just because of the way it looked so I got the potato salad which had no flavour whats so ever I also asked for a medium chips but received a large and got charged a large 😅 not sure how place was a bit run down and not the cleanest I dont think I'll need to go back. Much better choices in the area

Such a disappointment the standard and quality has certainly gone downhill over the last 12 months. Dried up chips and long gone the amazing chicken gravy which legs and breasts was renown for. Basically a Bain Marie now with Dagwood dogs and dim sims.

Chicken in the Burger was overly well done. Black and tasted like charcoal. Definitely not worth the $15 spent, next time I will just go to the supermarket and get a bbq chook, lettuce and buns.... save your money.

My partner is lactose intolerant. Just wanted a plain lunch takeaway - chicken In a bread roll. No gravy or sauces. Was charged $8.30!! 😳 That is the most I've ever paid 🤣 Let's just say the amount of chicken put in the bread roll was only enough to feed a small child. Not a 6'2 man. Go here semi regularly and the service is always quick and pleasant. Can't comment on their burgers but the chicken rolls are ordinary. But they always put a fresh batch of chips in the fryer when you order and the quarter chicken (delicious crispy skin) with chips is a value feed. Go for the chicken, not the burgers.

Just went through drive through. Ordered a double sausage and egg meal. Initially received a bacon and egg muffin, which I discovered while waiting for the coffee. Girl at window swapped it for my order, only to get home and discover there was no egg in my muffin, but there was a random piece of bacon. Disappointing service. Was not busy as there was only myself and one other vehicle in drive through.

I ordered a meal with a rewards discount from the app. The manager removed my discount and tried to charge me more than double the price I had shown up to pay. Took me for a sucker and wasted my time. This scammer should be fired. Macdonald's will no longer be receiving my business.

Seems like their manager may have just cancelled my online order to upcharge me. Had a 15% off order coupon through the app and tried to get 24 nuggets. Which was $10.16. Rolled up to the speaker and was originally told they couldn't process my order (which I made 3 minutes ago) because it was "midnight" I repeated this back to her with a question mark at the end and she said "Oh no, that should actually be fine, what sauces do you want." I see her PROCESS and put this through on the screen, I pull up to the next window where she then asks me to pay again, but now at full price, I told her "the payment should have gone through unless it was cancelled", blah blah blah, "system problem", so I showed the order at the price I was given $10.16 and asked for that to be overridden as that is the advertised checkout price I should be paying, which has never been an issue at ANY OTHER MACCAS ever if their "systems are playing up" She goes to get the manager and he comes over and goes "Nah, can't do your order" (no apologies) and I naturally ask why? "Because it's midnight, we don't do 24 nuggets after midnight, so you HAVE to get 20 instead" (also keep in mind that I made this order less than 5 minutes ago) so here's number one piece of advice. Never say "HAVE TO" to a customer. Sir. That is not how you under any circumstances talk to a customer. I ask "So can't get 24? That can't be honoured?" (Remember the lady was able to PROCESS my order at the speaker, which tells me it's ABSOLUTELY possible for them to have honoured it) He responds back "No, can't do it, only 20." I cave and go "How much?" And either he doesn't hear me or is dodging my question, so again "Alright fine, how much is 20? this feels like wool over my eyes." He goes "Okay. So 20?" And I respond back asking again "NO, HOW MUCH for 20?" to which he finally gives me a straight answer. "$15.55" which with the runaround feels like he was indeed doing this deliberately. At this point I'm annoyed at being stuffed around (no apology for it either), told what I "have" to get and feeling deceptively upcharged, so let him know this was a "disingenuous waste of my time." and leave empty-handed. Look, we went from order in, to that order, but at full price to pay 50% more for 20% less because we don't want to honour the damn order. This manager HAS overcharged me in the past and I had to ask for him to refund me the difference, he's unapologetic, uncaring, argumentative and frankly, rude. It's not the first time having an issue here, but I guarantee you it will be the last. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. Even without constant issues with quality or managers the wait times here are arguably the longest of any Macca's.

Small parking spots. Slow at clearing tables. Originally got the incorrect drink, luckily I took a receipt so there was no questions. Terribly dirty bathrooms but you can't expect much in a public bathroom anyway. On the plus side the staff were friendly and we're always smiling. Has a playground with three slides.

We had takeaway pizzas, ordered through app. Ordering was super easy, allows you to customise the pizza, many deals available on the app only when you choose pick up. Pizza menu is extensive including sides of chicken bites, garlic bread & even desserts. The vegetarian paneer pizza was really nice. Classic meatlovers option was good too. The large is more like a medium size. There are options for different pizza bases like traditional, deep pan, cheese crust etc. The shop has limited seating. Order was ready on time.

I just walked in, I asked for the menu, I saw Lunch box for $10 dolls. I ordered it and got a sit when I got the massage on my phone $12.18, I questioned the attendant regarding the price. He said it was a old menu, i said, why didn’t you take it off or stick a new price on it? Or telling me that the price is different? He left me speaking by myself and didn’t care about. Is not about the $2 dolls, it is about respect and be fair.also check the size of the pizza in the menu and real size !

Just wanted to have some dessert and it took more than one hour to get it delivered. So I When I called for a follow up ( because the app was not being updated on time ) the team member was extremely rude and did not even let me finish a sentence. He didn’t even bother listening to me and kept saying “you know, you know” frustrating :(

I ordered a thick shake got it had 1 sip it was like water wasn’t even cold went back in asked if they could remake it and they did got the other one exactly the same Went in again said it was water the bloke behind the counter was like I can’t keep remaking them so I’ll just give you the money back. Done with domino’s pizzas, every time I have ordered from here I’ve expected a better quality of food but I am left disappointed. This time I took photos/videos & I hope the owner works on it. Should I call it staff’s carelessness for online orders or what? I got burnt pizza when I love cheesy crust base for which I paid extra. I placed a order through the website for pick up. It’s was a meat lovers thin and Crispy and a lava cake. The pizza was cooked to perfection, lots of sauce and topping. I wonder if domino have changed there dough, it seems like it’s puff pastry not complaining it’s amazing and light!

A very nice fish & chips store that is closer to our accomodation. Feel very pleased to find a food place opening on Good Friday. Battered fish is nice and crispy outside, juicy and very well cooked inside. Crumbed squid and prawn are also fresh. Chips are thick cut and nice. The only thing is maybe the oil has been used for quite some time and is not that clean, so we can feel the not that friendly oily taste.

Had the barramundi fish and it was absolutely spot on, perfectly crispy, fresh, and full of flavour. The group also ordered a fish burger, which was just as good. Everything we tried was cooked really well and tasted great. Highly recommend!

Have not had pizza from Dino in years as it was never good. Decided to give them another go hoping things had improved. Nope both pizzas were greasy/ oily messes…toppings slid off just trying to pick up a piece. I ordered two very distinct flavours which both tasted the same!!! Sorry Dino Pizza I won’t try again 👎👎👎

Bad experience with a little snot on the phone. Bad experience with length of delivery. 40 mins later than the hour i was told. Very basic level pizza. Small town only place in town vibes. The quality difference between the two pizzas i ordered. One was thin and the other like thick dry crusty bread. Like the cheapest bread at the supermarket got wet and then you put it in the oven anyway. While you are there grab one of their premade bbq pizzas for $2.50. You’ll be better off. $75 Two pizzas drink and garlic break delivered to Montrose.

I can't lie. Whether it's the fact that the carpark is getting renovated but the pizzas i got this evening were not all they had been hyped up to be. I will not be coming back anytime soon. I sincerely hope they get better. Because they are not worth the $20 each.

Waited 80 mins for delivery for half our order to be missing 3 pizzas. Oh I will go getvthem from the store another 20 mins for my already cooked pizzas not even fresh. ordered three pizza's on a Friday night for delivery. told it would be a 1.5 hour wait but was a 2 hour wait. pizza's looked great on arrival,lots of topping, tasted great. my husbands pizza was missing anchovies from the order which disappointed him as he loves the flavour of them on pizza. would i order again.. yep sure would, not the best i have had this month but a very close second, we ordered Satay chicken, supreme and pepperoni with anchovies and pinapple

I think the bis issue with this place is the inconsistency. I always order the same plate (soft shell taco, same filling etc) and every time is like a Russian roulette, either you get a nice filling plate or almost half empty taco. Since obviously the price stays the same, I’d suggest a change in policy so you can expect the same quantity and consistency over time.

This use to be good, however, over the last 5 times I've been here it keeps getting worse. Multiple times I've ordered 2 different burritos and when I receive them, there's no way to tell what's what. The fillings keep getting smaller. The plates they prepare your meal on are always dirty. This was never the case at my old store. The staff are hit and miss. I won't be going back again

I finally give up on this store, have never ever got my order correct. You specifically ask for your burrito not to have items and they not only put it in but seem to give you extra. The amount of money I have tossed in the bin from this place and having to go out and buy other food is ridiculous. NO MORE.

On several occasions (yeah I know!) I've been at the counter at 12pm waiting for someone to attend to take an order when there are no other customers in the shop. The tables are absolutely filthy and haven't been cleaned in weeks. The consistency of a burrito is hit and miss even when the staff use measuring cups. But you get what you pay for, so probably shouldn't expect the world, but the cleanliness is something that cannot be excused. The franchise owner needs to watch a few Gordan Ramsay episodes of Kitchen Nightmares.

The worst toasted burrito I had at Zambrero. I usually go to CBD, Sandy Bay or Kingston. So I know how it should taste. It was cold, soggy and even had a big piece of tomato. They didn’t chop the tomatoes properly. It tasted really bad. Won’t go back.

First time trying Zambrero, and it was simply amazing. I enjoyed my burrito 🌯 and my girls loved the avocado chips 🩷 great and quick service.

Thoroughly enjoyed the sitting space. If you are up for fresh and healthy food, Mexican and that too Zambrero is great. Very affordable and good sharing with friends.

Popped into the new store for a quick meal on the go. The place was a mess, tables not cleaned off, staff yelling out names for food orders and then just laughing to themselves. Whoever owns this store needs to pick up their game and train staff a bit better. Service I can say was quick, that's all...we ate in our car as too dirty in your store. Couldn't eat chips as packed with too much salt and thought i was going to have a coronary and burgers looked slopped together and thrown in the bag. Never again !!!!

Bought vegan burger and got meat. Miss communication I think? Manager swapped it but still non vegan cheese.and.mayo was.put on, and burnt patty. Scraped it all off and put my own take on it. Bit dissapointed, but will still go and.try again to see if they get it right.

Amazing experience at Hungry Jack's! The staff were super friendly and really understood what I wanted. I ordered a Chicken Royal with onion, tomato, and cheese — and it was super delicious! Everything was fresh and the ingredients were perfectly balanced. The service was quick, the food was hot, and the team made sure I was happy. Definitely coming back again. Great job, team!

Ordered to dine in, had to wait 45 minutes for our food! When we finally got the food, it was cold. Drinks were warm and flat. Not even a sorry for the wait. Waste of money. Will not be going back ever again that's for sure. They were too busy serving their friends and getting a rush on their items.

If you want to wait 40min for fast food and then don't actually get what you have ordered then this is the place for you.....do yourself a favour and avoid this hungry jacks like the plague like I do now. Believe me it's easier and quicker to drive up the road 3min and get either KFC or mcdonalds

Who ever is managing this store needs a reality check came in through the drive-through ordered $75 worth of double quarter pounders with cheese and they only came with the burger, onion and gherkins. They forgot to put the salad in and the sauce gave him the second choice and walked into their new store a week after and every single table was filthy. I had to go up the front and asked the manager. Could she send someone out to clean the table why should the public have to ask for this to happen?

I haven't visited Tasmania for 6 years, this used to be my favourite FnC shop when I lived here. Unfortunately, this visit was less than impressive. Great prices and service, but the quality of food has certainly dropped in the last 6 years.

Staff were nice enough, but food was not good. I had a roast beef and gravy roll, the bread was better than the beef. The beef was from Woolworths deli and taste nothing like beef. Cheese and bacon potato cakes was horrible and the dim Sims weren't much better. I'd rather eat a 6 week old dimsim 19 dollars for a beef roll, 3 dimsims, a potato cake and a drink. Not the worst Wouldn't bother going here

Ordered the fisherman's basket for 1 as I had a craving for some fried food. Received a huge box and was looking forward to tucking in. Had a bite of the fries and the light in my eyes went out. They were dry... Tried the fish bites next and... same thing. The seafood bite and prawns were a little too firm for my liking and the battered scallop was soggy. I tried to eat as much as I could as I already paid for it but I could barely finish 1/3. Really unfortunate.

Friendly staff, great service and recommendation. The PB burger and souvlaki were tasty. Batter for fisherman’s basket was light and didn’t have any greasy feel.

Just went to this Maccas, ordered a Dble Cheese Burger No pickles as very badly allergic and a big Mac with no pickles. I got a single cheese burger with pickles and a big Mac with pickles. Legit had to throw it all away and just eat my cheap even though I specifically told the lady I’m allergic.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any McDonald’s. While there was a lovely asian girl and a young Indian man who were clearly working hard in the kitchen and at the counter, the rest of the crew—including the manager—were laughing, dancing, and joking around despite a long line of waiting customers. I was served cold chips, and when I politely asked for a fresh replacement, the manager took about five minutes to respond—even though I could see her laughing and chatting with other staff instead of attending to the request. To make matters worse, I paid over $20 for a cold meal, and the extra sauces I ordered were not included in the bag. I’ve visited many McDonald’s locations across the country, but this was easily the worst experience I’ve had. I will not be returning to this store.

Came to the drive-thru at 1:03AM, and it’s now 1:37 with still no service. This is unacceptable. It looks like the issue is understaffing, so I don’t blame the crew working, they’re probably doing their best. But this is clearly a management problem. Please fix the scheduling and stop cutting corners to save on night wages. Waiting over an hour in a drive-thru is absolutely unacceptable. Update: my order was taken at 1:30 after 25mins waiting and further 27minutes for the food to arrive. Do better maccas!

I had a very poor experience at McDonald’s Moonah on Sunday, 20th of July 2025, during the evening shift. The staff on duty displayed a clear lack of professionalism and concern for customers. Despite repeated attempts to get their attention, they appeared more interested in joking around than providing proper service. I waited for over 25 minutes for my order, and no explanation or apology was given for the delay. Even more concerning was the behaviour of the shift manager, who seemed completely indifferent to the situation and made no effort to manage the team or address customer concerns. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any McDonald’s, and I hope management takes immediate steps to improve service standards at this location.

Ordered 2 meals. Spent 20 minutes waiting for our order to be called while another 3 were prepared in front of us. When our order came, the food cold and they told us that their milkshake machine wasn't ready and I had to get another drink. All the while, staff spent their time talking to co-workers who were not working.

Rushed in here on my way to an appointment that I arrived late to thanks to this place. Waited 10 min+ at the drive through which was empty - mic was left unattended and only after repeativly saying hello did i get an answer. Paying, the cashier mummbled, was rude and offered no greetings arriving or departing. We were asked to go to bay where we waited again for cold food. The food we received was half empty. Drink tasted like gas. Cheese was barely on the burger and the lettuce was scraps. Chips cold anf boarder line burnt. Meals were cold except for 1 that was hot which was obviously the one holding it all up. Frappe tasted like water milk and had the wrong drizzel. Overall very unhappy. The place is digusting, dated and the food is just as repulsive.

Someone fell out a wheelchair sitting on the road/ground at the entrance from the road. When i asked if they knew, the manager did approach and just said they called someone. I had to ask like 4 times who they called before she actually came over and said she called the police, this manager seemed very inhumane and fed up with this human that was on the road with one leg. Discussting behaviour from management. In regards to my order they had no tomato, gave me wrong coffee and not one smile from.the female who served me.

This business is very inflexible to customer needs. Will not allow any changes to toppings for pizzas unless it is in their favour. They will happily remove things but will only add toppings back on if YOU the CUSTOMER pay extra. NO SWAPS ALLOWED. This is really poor. Customer satisfaction is NOT ON THEIR RADAR at all. No menu screens were lit up. The place was empty. Guy out the front didn’t know what he was doing. Whilst the food ended up being quite ok in the end, we WON’T be going near that place again mainly due to the owners attitude. Certainly was not welcoming. We VERY NEARLY walked out.

We ordered meat lover, bbq chicken wings, chips, plus garlic bread and Hawaiian pizza. One pizza was burnt to charcoal (meat lover). The other pizza was stuck to the box also under cooked??. The chicken was dry and over cooked. The kids wouldn’t eat a chip. On the phone we were told to chase up money with door dash. Very rude customer service.

We discovered this place a couple of months ago. We've tried almost everything on the menu. The pizzas are fantastic! The toppings are of good quality ingredients (real ham, super tasty spicy chorizo). The portions are generous. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. It's not expensive. We highly recommend this place for its gourmet take on pub meal favourites.

Worst customer service. As of stood infront of the service desk for more than 15 minutes still didn't got any response. Also delivering the food without caring about the preferences of customer. While asked got answer like "eat or not up to you". And I think you should keep your opening time up to 1:50 am only as I was there by 1:54am I was returned by saying we are closed.

I wanted so badly to give 5 star's, pizza looked great but didn't like the base of the pizza and service for eating in was 'ok'. Ate in to share a pizza and needed to prompt for plates and as the pizza is unable to be handled easily compared to other pizza's fork knife is required which wasn't an option. Will go back in case it was a once off average experience.

Waited for 30 minutes before being served for take away. When we opened our potato gravy it was disgusting. It was of colour and chunky. Uneatable. Chicken was ok .but some looked under cooked. Chips were average at best.. under staffed most probably.

18 September 2025, 10:15am. Waited for at least 15 minutes while being totally ignored in store. So I had time to notice the lack of general cleanliness of the store, especially behind the counter. I can’t rate the food as I left without ordering or even being acknowledged by the staff. The rudeness and total disregard of the staff, who were just wandering around doing nothing ensures I’ll never be back anyway. Totally disgusted.

I ordered Wicked Wings at 10:30 pm, well before closing at 11 pm. Unfortunately, the wings weren’t fresh or hot. While I appreciate the refund, I was told they had been sitting in the warmer by 9.30 pm and we cant make fresh one as closing at 11pm since the store was about to close. If the store is still open, customers should be able to expect freshly prepared, hot food right up until closing time. P.S went to rosny park store. It’s not the first time now, after several disappointments i have to write a bad review.

Disappointed with Consistently Poor Customer Service at Rosny KFC I’m writing to express my ongoing concerns with the customer service at Rosny KFC, particularly regarding the front-of-house management. This isn't about a single incident or individual—I've visited this location every couple of days and, unfortunately, have consistently experienced the same issue. The staff often seem disinterested, unapproachable, and unwilling to assist. Customers are frequently ignored, and there appears to be very little initiative to offer help or engage politely. Most concerning was what I witnessed today: a delivery driver was waiting for some time, only to be met with hostility from the staff. Rather than offering support, multiple staff members confronted him, saying they "can’t change their strategy." We came here after a trip to the casino. My friend unfortunately lost $50 and therefor wasn’t in her best condition. Due to her recent financial loss we did not enjoy our time here which is incredibly disappointing because had the staff given us $50 for free i would have rated the entire experience 5/5. Once again we go to eat breakfast at Mcdonalds to be told we have no hot cakes. Who is running these places to not have stock. We try again and again to support Mcdonalds to always be disappointed especially that my wife and I have worked at Mcdonalds and know how it should be run. Just terrible.

The wait time way over 30 min within that time i was at the window i seen my meal and had to wait over 5 mins for someone to give it to me and plus they gotten my order wrong as well. Im not going to wait for that long again i will just leave or drive away tho drive tho.

Twice now the food has been bad. 1st time I had chicken curry and it tasted old, I only had a few bites and chucked it out. Couple hours later I had food poisoning. Tonight I had nachos as I couldn't trust the potato meals, they were the worst nachos, a bunch of dry chips, hardly any toppings and very salty. Have been a loyal customer for years. Never eating here again!

Places online order and got to the store ans waited in line over by the sign that said 'collect online orders here' Proceeded to wait for 10min there before getting in line to place orders so could be served. The whole time my order was sitting on a cupboard getting cold. Good food. Just allow plenty of time to collect

I got asked by my mum who is Indian what it was that we were eating and the only answer I could come up with was Praties. (After being Tasmanian for 16 years). It's a delicious treat with baked potao as the base and some sort of topping mixture (hot or cold) like roma (which is sorta like a Bolognese) or Paddy's lunch (like a irish stock pot). I am not into the cold topping so don't remember them. But I love this place for the 16 years that I have lived in Tassie.

Just had the curried scallops and chicken and wow was is good.

I got off work at 6am. Thought I'd wake up my partner with fresh hotcakes. Got them, got home. He tried to cut them and couldn't, cutlery broke. All 3 hotcakes were stone. He thought i was pulling a prank and was waiting for me to show him his real hotcakes. How can you ruin hotcakes so badly???????

Bridgewater maccas is the worst maccas in tasmania. I ordered uber eats and they mess it up every single time. i ordered two cheeseburgers without pickles and onion and they put it on both. and i also ordered a quarter pounder and they give me a double cheeseburger. pathetic and they said they can’t do anything about it?

No idea if the store is just useless, or they just simply don't care. Have ordered no ice in my drinks numerous times, just to have ice. It's not that I want more drink, but the fact that the ice melts and spoils the drink. Half of the staff are just incompetent and would be better being fed to the wolves as their attitude and conduct is absolutely disgraceful. Managers need to be training their staff to read orders properly, otherwise enforcing a rule where they need glasses before they can return to work, or making sure they're double checking orders otherwise mandatory hearing aids. Do better and get a reality check!!

I am absolutely sick of it. They are always forgetting things in my orders, I have been double charged when going through the drive through and never got it back i was just given the run around before I gave up. Food is always cold, chips are always less then half full, messy presentation of burgers (i get they get busy but still), they never take note if you take things off or add things, they always miss the happy meal toy, toilets are rarely clean. When ordering ubereats its the same missing items, cold food, messy presentation, no attention paid to changes. When you complain they are ether rude, give you the run around or if you are trying to call never answer the phones.

McDonald’s Bridgewater is an absolute disaster. The management here is a complete joke — no organisation, no leadership, and definitely no care for customers! Whether you order through Uber Eats or walk into the store, expect to be ignored. I literally watched a customer stand at the counter for over 15 minutes waiting to order, and not one single staff member bothered to take their order or even acknowledge them. The poor customer finally gave up and went straight over to Hungry Jack’s Bridgewater — and honestly, I don’t blame them at all. This store clearly suffers from very bad management. Staff seem lost, slow, and uninterested. If this is how they treat paying customers, I can only imagine what happens behind the scenes. Honestly, this store needs new management immediately. Avoid this McDonald’s completely — terrible service, terrible management, and zero respect for customers.

Very cold, morbid and dull atmosphere which is why I can't even give it 1 star for. Service was careless ie they seemed like they really don't care if you are there or not. I had the curried scallop potato and I honestly doubt I got 4 scallops. Curry was thick and gluggy.

I went to Praties Rosny Park for the first time and ordered a medium Cheese and Bacon Spud. The menu suggested it included sour cream and coleslaw which I wanted. I didn't ask and it wasn't offered, if that was required. I waited patiently for quite a while then realised others ordering after me were getting their potatoes and leaving. I enquired what was happening to mine as I had ordered it before these customers - the young man serving me asked the other staff who all looked blank, including the girl I gave the order to. He then proceeded to make up the order, handed it to me without an apology or explanation. When I arrived home the sour cream and slaw was missing, there was way too much bacon and overall extremely disappointing with the whole affair. I won't return to the Rosny store but will try another venue.

Got a fish burger and fried prawns. It was absolutely delicious! Biggest burger I’ve had in my life and right up there and one of the tastiest. Best homemade chicken around. Delicious, fresh and crispy. Went in about 20 minutes before closing and they were happy to cook the chicken for me.

Disappointing Experience with the Vegan Pizzas at Pizzarazzi. I recently ordered two vegan pizzas from Pizzarazzi for $25 each, expecting a delicious and satisfying meal. However, my experience left much to be desired. The pizza place advertised an enticing deal of "any 2 pizzas for $38," but to my surprise, this offer did not extend to their vegan pizza options, despite the term "any" being used in the promotion. Despite being willing to pay full price, I was disappointed to find that both pizzas were lacking in flavor and had burnt cheese on top. I even had to add salt to enhance the taste, which was a letdown considering the premium price I paid for the vegan option. While the service was friendly, it was the only positive aspect of my visit. I am underwhelmed by the quality of the food and the cost-gouging for the vegan option. Overall, my experience with the vegan pizzas was unsatisfactory, and I would hesitate to recommend them to others based on this visit. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve the quality of their vegan offerings and consider extending promotions to include all menu items as advertised.

Ordered 2 pizzas, one was vegan and they’d run out of vegan cheese. Every single other place that’s ever happened, they'd either just cancel the order or just not put the cheese on. These guys sent someone out specifically to the shops to get the cheese and then proceeded to give us a free dessert to apologise for taking so long. Absolute dedication to the cause with these guys. 20/5 stars.

I ordered a greek salad online and they sent us a garden salad with just few slices of tomatos, little bit of feta, some sliced onions and some olives on top and everything else with mesculine. No dressing and very dry. Very disappointing.

We got 2 standard chicken burgers with mild seasoning. The bottom of our burger buns where cold to the touch , chicken was flavourless and had no colouring from being cooked. The whole burger was pretty flavourless. My son had the 4 chicken tenders. For $11.95, the size of these was disgracefully small, it was from the adult menu. There was no charring from being cooked at all. We had not been to Nandos for a few years, and will not be going back . It was very disappointing, and we feel like we have wasted our money and still hungry. My husband threw most of his burger out, it was that bad. The box in the photo is very small......

I ordered a tender meal with sauce and an iced tea. I received my food after a 10 min wait (that’s fine it’s a Friday night and was busy) but after I had already payed went back in to exchange the drink as I relieved the wrong one and they told me they didn’t have any. My tenders Had no sauce on them at all, and my chips had nearly to no salt on them.

Placed a take away order took 1 hr..on ordering they said 20 mins..there after every 20 mins they said another 20 mins...poor..During wait time they were taking and serving new orders and uber eats order...

I had a truly disappointing experience at Nando's recently that I feel compelled to share. My friends and I traveled all the way from Burnie, excited to enjoy a meal together. Unfortunately, this was the second time we encountered issues at this location. Despite arriving at 8:45 PM, with the restaurant closing at 10 PM, we were informed that they wouldn't serve us. It’s disheartening to think about why they would open if they’re not willing to accommodate customers so close to closing time. We were a group of eight, and after being seated, we were told that they had run out of chicken. I expressed our frustration, mentioning that we had traveled specifically for this meal. In contrast, the staff at Nando's in North Hobart have always been welcoming, even when we arrived just a minute before closing. The response we received was that they were quiet and therefore wouldn’t cook any chicken. This just feels like an inadequate excuse for turning away customers. It's disappointing to see such a lack of hospitality and service at the Rosny location. I hope they can improve their approach to customer service in the future.

Extremely disappointing experience. The food was stale and clearly not fresh. On top of that, the service was pathetic — slow, unresponsive, and completely indifferent to customer needs. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food or decent service.

This family owned buisness is always freshly cooked food and service with a huge smile-very generous and warm inviting corner store. Head down to your local take away shop for some fish and chips or very reasonably priced kebabs. Open more hours than most take away places and have a long term patron in myself. Recommend.

The food is really good but they delivered to the wrong house. Told me I was wrong when I said I hadn't received it and then tried to give me the cold pizza they'd retrieved from the other house. Eventually I got a fresh one a couple hours after I'd first ordered.

One of the best pizza shop in Kingston: CRUST. I tried many times veggie pizza, it was delicious as usual and well priced. Service was excellent and quality was also amazing👌👌👌👌. I highly recommend the vegetarian pizza, 10/10. i'll definitely come back soon..

Well, Just waited 85 mins for a phone order delivery and I've had to put the pizza in the oven to heat it up. Usually tasty.

Bread was gross and pretty much about to go bad. and the no cash thing is a joke. Over heard the assistant manager telling a paying customer that it’s their right by law to decline cash. Since when. No other subway I’ve been into has this. One day they will take it next they won’t.

Very unhappy with the customer service! I have ordered online and went to pick up the order at 2.05pm on 13/06/2025. The person at the counter raised the voice asking me to show the order on the phone, incorrectly assuming I am an Uber driver. That's no problem, we all have those moments. However, picked up the order and upon return the order is missing half the salads. Went back to inform, again very unhappy with the attitude of this person and customer service. Luckily, there was another lady there this time and she apologised for the inconvenience and made me a new order.

Value for money is long forgotten. It's pretty bad when all you want is a wrap for lunch but they run out of the white wrap so I tried the wholemeal. It crumbled to pieces while the staff were tyring to make it and was like flaking tissue paper by the time I unwrapped it and like cardboard when tried to eat it. There was 1 tomato slice, 1 cucumber slice and when I asked for extra cheese I got 2 slices 🔺️. 😔 I would have been better off eating the paper it was wrapped in.

This is what the Uber eats from brought me from your restaurant. I ordered two chicken sandwiches without vegetables and instead this is what I received. I also paid extra for my Italian BMT double meat, that was ignored and only one layer of meat. In that very same order there was a southern chicken sandwich which which we asked for for chipotle sauce..needless to say no sauce in site. Basically we ordered 5 items of which 4 was done to the point of absolute dissatisfaction.

Love subway. But HATE THIS DOOR. I jambed my thumb holding the handle and pushing the door open. The door is way to close to the frame of the door so when you grab the handle your fingers jamb when opening. This needs fixing ASAP.

I came here twice because the first time the pizza was so so so good and they really filled, the guys really nice, love pizza capriciossa with anchovies.

We love the pizzas we ordered - 2 Cappricciosa pizzas with anchovies for my son and hub and chicken BBQ for me. The boys said the anchovies were especially flavourful not just a taste of salt but a pleasant fish taste which is very much appreciated. In the ast the anchovies they had on their pizzas in other places were a bit different Pizzarazzi pizzas are as good as the ones we get from another lace which was closed that night that we craves for pizzas So luckily, they were open and we greatly enjoyed our orders. I had leftovers for brekky the next day and shared with my hub too. I only gave 4 stars because I forgot to ask for the $55 deal for 3 pizzas and we paid ,$63 for our 3 pizzas. I am not sure why we didn't qualify for the deal. Also, I originally ordered medium for my pizza but got large in the end, I didn't want to confuse the order taker. Just as well We got to have leftovers. They were all tasty.

This was the first time I had tried this place and wanted to see what their pizzas were like. When I walked in was greeted by friendly staff members. Turn-around time was fairly quick, mainly due to the fact that I hadn't gone at peak dinner time. I chose the BBQ Chicken and Slow-cooked Lamb (both large) which came to $38. Cooked very well and so tasty. Worth a try if you haven't already.

We removed the pineapple but added the sour cream, it was a delicious pizza.

Ordered a BBQ Meatlovers, got home to this beauty. Never had Pizzarazzi before so I was a bit sceptical at first. Crust and base cooked to perfection with a smoky BBQ taste that did overpower the sweet taste of bacon, steak and other meats all held together by a small amount of cheese. The pizza was cut great and nothing fell off or was stuck to the box. The staff were great and friendly.

The pizza was disgusting. The lamb smelt off and the whole thing was burnt. The nachos were not layered. There was dry chip crumbs for 1/3, edible half-sauced chips for 1/3 and the top 1/3 was congealed cheese that was not edible. The nachos seemed like they were made with the end of a bag of chips, so mostly small, dry crumbs of chips as there was hardly any sauce. On top was half a block of cheese that was half melted and congealed into one big piece.

Pretty good. I devoured my fish and chips, however I was famished... Chips looked like they were cooked in old oil but this could just be their style because they were nice. At least I think they were. The fish was definitely good, I think. Oh I dunno I'm full now and I enjoyed my meal so I really have no complaints.

I would rate this more than 5 stars if I could.. Honestly best service, Lovely food..keeps me coming back. The prices are really good as well and they have some deals going. Owners go out of their way to make sure food is fresh just how I like it. Their generosity is also overwhelming, Wish all businesses would be like this. We've eaten a range of food from the South Hobart Fish shop and every time it is delicious, well-cooked and served in a timely manner. I would recommend their food! Also, they have convenience items such as milk, chocolate, chips, basic foods etc available for purchase.

Absolutely outrageously rude. We ordered gluten free chips which were wrapped together with all our other gluten order. When I rang to complain the owner was rude and unapologetic. When I asked for the chips again (for free) he point blank refused. Never again

Great fish and chips. Some of the best fish and chips I've had in Australia. And the beef burger was delicious really nice and contained everything (egg, bacon, tomato, salad and fresh beef patty).

My takeaway experience was marred by a stale chicken burger from the Bain Marie, which had soggy warm lettuce.The chips were cold. The prices were excessively high considering the subpar quality of food. I experienced stomach discomfort afterwards. Moreover, a staff member's decision to open the inside of the chip bag with his bare hand was concerning. In light of these issues, I do not intend to visit this establishment again.

The lowest quality food from any takeaway in country, the prices are insane. Chips are always a failure, cold, undercooked. Burgers are in the world cheapest bread ever. Cheeseburger doesn’t even have onions or mustard in it. It’s literally just cheese and meat in a bun with sauce. Has to be a money laundering business or something because it has awful food, always empty and extremely overpriced no one should buy from here.

This is by far the worst fish and chips I've ever had in my whole life and I'm from Scotland. Absolutely appalling I can't believe they are still in business. First of all the guy tried to give me fish and chips in a bag which was insane. I asked him to put it in a box and he gave me way too many chips despite me saying several times to stop. Nothing too wrong with that but he places the fish on top and asks if I want salt and I say yes, but on everything. He coats the whole top layer of the fish in an obscene amount of salt, none reached the chips. The vinegar is dispensed from a SPRAY BOTTLE which is mental and he soaked the whole top of the fish despite me telling him to stop after 1 spray. This horror show cost $11 dollars and I'm concerned I may be sick later as the fish tasted 'fishy' and the skin didn't crisp but was sticky and kind of ripped apart. It was also all served lukewarm, not hot and I can't seem to get the grease off my lips. Avoid this place at all costs, I was starving when I arrived and threw almost all the food out it was so bad.

$17.50 for a small cup of undercooked chips that had been sitting until cold, & 5 undercooked stale dim sims, with next to no salt, after asking for salt. the dimsims were priced at $1.50 each & the small chips had signage stating they were $3.50. what an absolute joke & ripoff.

Best snack pack i have EVER had ever in my life. Came here with my mate blake on a mish for some food, decided on a snack pack and my God was that the right choice. The chicken and lamb were tender and super flavourful, absolutely spot on. I've been to nearly all kebab places in tassie and I've had a snack pack from almost all of them. This. Beats. All. Andrew is an absolute legend and so is his what im assuming, partner. They were both so awrsome to talk to and I will most DEFINITELY be coming back for another snack pack!!!! 100/10 if you want a bang for your buck snack pack in glen, come here.

We had a wonderful experience at this place! The souvlaki was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was even better. The Greek owners were incredibly friendly – we ended up chatting for a long time, and it felt like visiting old friends. The chef also came out to greet us and was just as kind and welcoming. We truly appreciated the warm atmosphere, amazing food, and lovely people. Highly recommended!
