Ice cream shop
Cruze Farm, situated just over the border in Sevierville, is a must-visit spot for ice cream enthusiasts. Conveniently located on the Parkway near SkyLand Ranch and Tanger Outlet Mall, it's an ideal place to indulge in a sweet treat after a day of fun. The dairy offers a variety of rotating flavors such as sweet cream, strawberry, chocolate, brown butter, cinnamon toast crunch, dole whips, and sorbets.
Great trip with the family. They were very busy but super friendly! The only complaint is we had a member or our group wait 35 mins for her latte. Maybe get a second espresso machine if you're offering coffee? It seemed excessive to sit and watch about 20 people go Through line while we waited for her drink.

Delicious ice cream! Highly recommend the churns. I got the peanut butter cup and I appreciated that they didn't just throw some cups into vanilla ice cream, but actually blended it into the ice cream. Also, my friend got a root beer float, and they not only only used about half the bottle of root beer to make it, but he got to drink the rest. They also had free water in a jug with small cups. It's the little touches that truly make a place like this stand out. Highly recommend! Ps. The peanut butter cup comes with many more crumbles on top, but I forgot to take a picture of them because it looked so good!

Come here! Do it! You'll love it! Samples for you to try before you buy! So creamy and sweet. I got a brown butter shake with hot fudge and a coffee. I needed to pray just to thank the Lord for the angels I heard singing when I sat on the front porch and began my ice cream coma. If I'm within 20 minutes of here, you can bet ill be making a pit stop. Do you think they'll deliver this goodness to back home?

Very high quality creamery! I’ve tried ice cream all over the world & this my friends is some of the creamiest bursting with flavor! I would give you 1000 🤩🤩 stars if I could 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️
Faith J — Google review
They have vegan ice cream! The flavors change but the vegan vanilla soft serve was delicious! Such a cute atmosphere, the kids enjoyed playing on the patio for a long time.
Jessica S — Google review
We were so excited to be back in Tennessee and try our long-time favorite Cruze Farm’s Coffee ice cream. Unfortunately, it tasted noticeably salty, more like salted caramel than coffee. Thinking it was a mistake, we went back to ask for the correct flavor, but received the exact same salty-tasting ice cream again. Very disappointed, as we’ve never had coffee ice cream taste like this before. I don’t think we would be back as coffee ice cream was our favorite.
B M — Google review
Brown Butter baby! Absolutely creamy and delicious ice cream! Flavor is on point! Two of us shared the regular size in a waffle cone ($6.39). Next time we plan to try the carrot cake & cream cheese twist!
Luv2 T — Google review
They have hands down the best ice cream! They also offer Dole Whip. We have a gluten free member in our group who enjoyed the ice cream with no issues.

The Apple Valley Creamery in Sevierville is a charming shop that offers a wide range of ice cream flavors and freshly baked pastries and cookies. While they don't claim to make homemade ice cream, their products are as close to homemade as you can get. Over the past 11 years, they have become known for producing some of the finest desserts in the Smoky Mountain area, with demand steadily increasing from local restaurants and businesses.
We stopped by to get our favorite ice cream in the whole area. We weren't disappointed it was amazing as usual. I got the Carmel Sundae and my wife got a brownie sundae and the boys got single scoops on waffle cones. A must try is the banana split it's what we normally get. They have over 40 flavors to choose from.

Ordered an ice cream sandwich on their house made cookies - absolutely delicious! A little bit of a wait, but great service overall and lots of seating options.
Bethaney G — Google review
All the ice cream is made in house. It is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. They have 40 different flavors The decorations are similar to an old country store. They also make and sell fresh bread, baked daily. It is right off the parkway.
Abraham A — Google review
The Apple Valley Creamery is an absolute treat! I ordered the cookies and cream ice cream, and it was fantastic: rich, creamy, and packed with chocolate cookie pieces in every bite. You can really taste the freshness and quality, and it has that true homemade flavor that sets it apart from regular ice cream shops. The texture was perfect, the sweetness was just right, and it was the kind of dessert you don’t want to put down. Enjoying it inside the cozy creamery made the experience even better. If you’re in Sevierville and craving something sweet, this place is a must-stop. Delicious ice cream and great atmosphere, couldn’t ask for more!
The M — Google review
Top notch ice cream, tons of flavors to choose from all accompanied by great service. If you love ice cream this is the place for you.
Nick S — Google review
SPECTACULAR food sold here! We had apple cobbler a la mode, and it was FABULOUS! The cobbler consisted of warm, firm apples with a crispy, crunchy crumble on top. The melted ice cream next to the cobbler completed the dessert! It was the best cobbler I have ever had. The sweet breads for sale in the creamery were exceptional. We bought a loaf of pumpkin pecan bread and a loaf of apple walnut bread, and both were amazing. We purchased some whipped cinnamon butter and some fresh milk and enjoyed them for breakfast each morning of our vacation in Pigeon Forge. It was money well spent! The breads were made with applesauce, so they were exceptionally moist and tasty. The whipped cinnamon butter made it even better! Couldn’t have been happier we stumbled upon this gem for great and tasty sweets!

They specialize in made-to-order ice cream rolls, allowing customers to choose from a variety of flavors and mix-ins such as candy, cereal, cookies, fruit, and nuts. The shop also features special and seasonal flavors for those looking to try something new.
We got to order 10 minutes after they close and they were so kind and nice. So cool to watch. They play nice music in the back too! The rolled ice cream was magnificent! It was the BEST ice cream I have ever had! After closing they cleaned and scrubbed EVERYTHING. From tables to counters to ice cream rollers and everything else. Also very spacious. I really loved this ice cream place and I will DEFINITELY be going back!!
Addison A — Google review
This place was good when it first opened. Our last time was the last. Skimpy with the add ins. The ice cream had no flavor. When I asked my husband what topping he would like, since we were sharing. The woman taking our order fussed at me. “Talk to me, not him!” We were the only customers, I guess for a reason.
Wendy G — Google review
Food- Amazing! The ice cream looked so appealing and my kids absolutely loved their flavors and ice cream. Service- The men working were so kind and patient with us. They explained each option and were so kind and friendly. Atmosphere- It was such a nice, clean space. The music was the best choices. Had me reliving the 80s! Highly recommend this for rolled ice cream!
Sandie E — Google review
Absolutely amazing treat for the family! We took our kids here after a long, hot day at the park, and were not disappointed! Sure, it's pricey compared to a simple cone somewhere else, but we weren't looking for a simple cone and my kids loved getting to be involved in the making of their ice cream by picking out the mix-ins and toppings. Will definitely be back!
Fishhawk H — Google review
I like rolled ice cream very much, and this is the best I've ever had! As great as it is to get to eat the ice cream, it's equally fun to get to see all the options you get to choose from and then watch them make your ice cream. If ever back in town I'll definitely be back.
Greg M — Google review
This was our 1st time trying rolled ice cream! Can I say amazing!!!! We choose chocolate base, mixed in brownie and Oreo on a waffle taco, topped with Reese's morsels, Twix, and caramel. Service was great from start to end. Cashier was happy to explain how the process worked and even did an up-sale on me and I added a mix in(good job). The girl that made our ice cream didn't seem annoyed at all that I videoed the whole process and was super sweet(I think she even said she was new so again good job). We will return! Thank you for an amazing experience!
Anna C — Google review
A bit more pricey than your average ice cream shop. THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME. The atmosphere, the preparation, the finished product...idk which specifically! This was a nice, different, outside of your norm ice cream shop experience. Swing in and check it out. Same strip mall as Publix (located at the opposite end).
Dillon L — Google review
My son saw this place in the internet so we decided to eat desert here. This was a great delicacy and they make it fresh right in front of you. I was a little shocked 😳 when I got the bill of $45 for 3 ice creams. I don't think I will go back and pay this much for ice cream again. Other than the price the place was clean and the ice cream was good.

Visitors rave about the friendly staff and the delicious handcrafted treats like dipped apples loaded with various toppings. The store also offers free samples of warm pecans and cashews.
Stumbled upon this place while looking for souvenirs. They have an apple pie dipped apple that is phenomenal. I had to go back for a second one. They are a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Lots of great options for sweet treats. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something sweet.
Chris T — Google review
Perfect for our late night sugar fix 😊 Heath bar candy apple was very tasty, cut perfectly. Dark chocolate bear claw was better than any I've had in the area.
Careys S — Google review
There is a great selection of ice cream, caramel apples, and chocolates! Everything is a bit pricy. $6-$10 for the ice cream. $10-$12 for caramel apples. They will slice the apples for you. Chocolate covered strawberries from $2-$4, different sizes. A few tables are available to sit at. The chocolate dipped waffle cones are tasty. No banana splits, or soft serve.
Ash ( — Google review
There's better ice cream in Pigeon Forge!! The quality of the ice cream is sub par! They do have a variety of ice cream flavors and also have a rainbow sherbet. No sorbets. I got pistachio which was good but the peach wasn't anything to write home about. We got ice cream four different times during our week at Pigeon Forge and this was our least favorite spot. We won't go back there for ice cream.
Brandi P — Google review
It looks like a great place, the ice cream was a big letdown. The samples were tasty, but the actual ice cream turned out to be flavorless after just 6-7 bites. It felt like eating plain cream. On top of that, the ice cream is overpriced. We spent over $15 on two cups, and it ended up in the trash. I had high hopes for this place, but I can't recommend it based on my experience. Save your money and try somewhere else.
Baron C — Google review
Good ice cream, but confusing setup. I enjoyed the cookie dough (wasn’t a fan of the toffee), and my daughter loved the sprinkle cake cone. The biggest issue was the checkout process—there are two lines but no signage or direction, so you’re awkwardly standing there with melting ice cream, unsure of where to pay. The employees seemed a bit disengaged and kept checking their watches—even though it wasn’t close to closing time. Would love to see a clearer system and maybe two checkout stations.
Emily P — Google review
Staff was nice. Personally didn't like the chocolate covered banana. Thought it would be way better. Chocolate was good but was not fan of the frozen banana My son had the apple with sprinkles and caramel. He said it was good. Was a little disappointed. I would not go back personally but definitely recommend if you like these items. They do however have alot more to choose from which may be better. Im just not a huge sweet person.

Absolutely incredible experience, very friendly staff. They take excellent care to direct ypu towards flavors tou like and the best bang for your buck specials. The flight of ice cream was good, the cherries jubilee was my favorite followed by the Elvis and then the girl scout. While I love chocolate the dearh by chocolate was good but seemed to miss the heavier chocolate flavor I was expecting. The best part though was the campfire milkshake, absolutely felt like drinki g a smores! The ice cream is flavorful and the toppings are fantastic! Absolutely have to visit here rain or shine!
Tom J — Google review
Excellent customer service and such kind employees. Not to mention, the milkshakes are so beyond delicious… I drank practically the whole thing before we even got home (~5 min away). The same is true for my husband as well. The shakes aren’t too sweet but just enough to be addicting! Will definitely be back; I will have to restrain myself from going everyday!
Elizabeth A — Google review
Ice cream is very good, but the place is a little bit expensive. The board advertises a regular buzzed ice cream creation at $12.99 then in fine print it says before state a liquor taxes. So what I thought I was spending $12.99 on costs over $16, not necessarily anything wrong with that it’s just was pricey and misleading
David S — Google review
Friendly, homemade milkshakes with alcohol shots. Can take to go or stay and enjoy.

THE DINER is a classic 1950s-style silver diner located on Sevierville's Highway 66. The traditional diner setting features retro red and white booths, stainless steel siding, and walls adorned with 1950s pop culture memorabilia. Guests can enjoy American fare, including breakfast served all day. The Sevier Skillet is a popular dish, packed with hash browns, veggies, sausage, bacon, eggs, and the option of a pancake.
Shannon is awesome! She hooked up my banana split and even made a few changes to it that i asked for. Very friendly and service was quick. I got the Honest Abe burger (elk/buffalo/bison) and it turned out amazing!! Definitely will return!!!
ArbSmart — Google review
All I had was a waffle, but it was a perfect one. The service was good, our server was very busy, but she was friendly and nice. The place has some wear and tear, which seems perfectly fine for a diner that's been around for awhile. We visited on a Saturday evening, and got seated immediately. This is a nice alternative to the packed restaurants you usually see in this area.
Liz W — Google review
This place was great. We found it on our last day and I wish we found it sooner on our 8 day vacation. The service, food and staff were amazing. Will definitely return on our next visit.
Tanya P — Google review
A great looking stainless steel exterior and a 1950's feel inside with an All-American menu. I had the BBQ-Brougham Burger with fries and a diet Pepsi. The burger was large and had good flavor, the fries were standard (pictured). The wife had the tuna fish on texas toast and stated it was good and again the portion size was large. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and nice. Negative - was some litter in the parking lot, but The Diner can't be held accountable for people's actions.
Greg A — Google review
Cute theme but really dirty! Tables were barely wiped down and if you looked closer it got worse and worse, booths were disgusting the floors had never seen a mop, the gas station bathrooms were cleaner. The ceiling vent was dripping right on to your shoulder while you ate. They were out of chicken tenders which of course all our kids wanted and we asked for chocolate milk that came out white. Food was on the same level as McDonald’s at best.
Samantha H — Google review
Go back in time to shiny chrome and neon lights of the 1950s. Servers keep your mug full of piping hot coffee and you won't leave empty. Meals are made to order and I tried the savory grilled onion burger (see photo) for $12.95 due to my frustration with Burger King refusing to grill onions. Out of one side of his mouth Burger King says, "have it your way." Out of the other, the Burger King won't grill onions. Burger King sits on a throne of lies. The Diner serves at least eight different types of burgers with fries, chips, or one side. The choices of side are wide ranging: fries, fried okra, green beans, grits, hash browns, mac & cheese, masted potatoes, potato salad, tomato slices, fried green tomatoes, applesauce, baked beans, baked potato, broccoli, or coleslaw. The retro diner interior is true to form, allowing one to reminisce about the days of old. You just might enjoy being fully present, contemplating a time before cell phones, the internet, and computers. Gee golly, the Diner is swell.
Mitchel M — Google review
Walking in for dinner we were promptly greeted and seated by Cindy. Laura was our server, she was very personable and efficient! The food and portions were so good we went back for breakfast! Gary was our server, he was very nice and also efficient! We can’t wait to come back next year..
Jill S — Google review
My friends, family and I have been coming here for years! Everything is fair, true diner prices with a classic homestyle diner taste as well. Extraordinarily thankful for a good breakfast and lunch spot that’s not a chain or tourist trap in Sevierville!

Nestled within the charming Old Mill complex in Pigeon Forge, the Old Mill Creamery is a delightful ice cream parlor that brings nostalgia to life with its old-fashioned approach to making ice cream. Here, rich custard is lovingly churned and served in an array of tempting options—from classic bowls and sugar cones to indulgent thick shakes and stunning sundaes.
This is an adorable ice cream shop. We came mid afternoon on a weekday and it was not busy at all. The employees were all very nice! And the ice cream was delicious! I highly recommend the cookie dough and blackberry pie, yumm! They also have a little coffee/tea menu. Plenty of seating outside, very nice atmosphere.
B G — Google review
Cute ice cream shop. Remarkably efficient with a fast paced team. Plenty of seating on their patio. It can get very busy. Respectable selection of ice cream flavors and frozen treats, not overly expensive considering the location and it primarily caters to tourists. Parking in front or in the large city lot, avoid the pay lot as it will charge your credit card more than the stated price. On a hot summer day, it's as good of a place as any for a cold refreshing treat.
Rob K — Google review
I got the waffle bowl which comes with two generous scoops of ice cream. I loved the brown butter black walnut and the espresso with the chocolate chips was really good. I also got an extra scoop of banana pudding for an extra dollar. I liked it. The quality of their ice cream gets a 5 star in my opinion. The selection is good and I'd come back for the brown butter black walnut for sure but I give their selection a 4 star because they don't have any sorbets and they didn't have any sherbets, even though they usually have orange sherbet I guess. They have a really nice patio to eat on with lots of tables. However if it's raining (like it was when we went) there is not indoor seating and there are only 3 benches that are under the awnings. We would definitely go back
Brandi P — Google review
My husband and I went here and got pumpkin cheesecake, coconut, and banana pudding flavors of ice cream and they were all delicious! We did a sample of the oatmeal cream pie, but just didn't think it had much flavor. I would recommend tasting some samples before ordering to see which you like/don't.
Karen B — Google review
Delicious Ice cream and the sitting area is also very cute, has that lovely old town vibe! Tried their “break-up bucket” flavor; indeed delicious

This place is outstanding! Great for a quick dessert or snack if visitng the Old Mill shoppes. You can sample the ice creams before purchasing. Has made from scratch goodness. Ordered the kid's cup since I was so full from lunch. Had bear paw ice cream which was made with chocolate and caramel mixed together. A perfect combination! You can get sundaes here as well. Check the menu board for their current offerings. Definitely a great way to cool off on a hot day!

Their soft serve is possibly the best I have had in the pigeon forge area! Ice cream nachos were served up too! Waffle cone busted up with ice cream on top them your choice of sundae syrups, whip cream, and a cherry on top! THEY ARE ALSO OPEN LATE!!!!! It was after 10pm and we still got in with a line of people there and more followed us! Excellent service and it moved really fast with only 2 employees serving the crowd. 10/10 highly recommend!!! Our second visit (6/30) and it did not disappoint at all!!! They were packed but the line moves fast. 4 employees working tonight and folks piling one after the other. Still 10/10 recommend!!!

4.4 is the current Google rating at the time of Mad Dog’s Creamery review. We hit this place around 10pm on a Tuesday night and it’s busy. It’s located on the main strip in Pigeon Forge. There’s 2 large picnic tables with umbrellas located on the left side of the building. Once inside you’ll find it quite small which is why there’s a zigzag rope line in place, to accommodate a large but organized crowd. Like the airport does for security gates. Be ready to place your order once asked. Keep the line moving. The staff are friendly enough and their goal is to get your order and make it for you so they can work on the next order 🛎️ The ice cream is good, I had a waffle cone with Smokey Mountain Fudge ice cream. I’m a sucker for some kind of chocolate 🍫 It’s a good ice cream shop to get your fix. I’d come back again 💯

So good I got different things every night we stayed for a week. The cotton candy burrito was very unique and my kids obviously loved the sugar high haha. Great employees and atmosphere!

Mad Dogs Creamery is a delightful spot that certainly hits the mark with the younger crowd! Our kids absolutely adored the ice cream, and their smiles were proof enough of the delicious treats. While the quality of the ice cream itself is fantastic and clearly a hit with children, we did notice a somewhat limited selection of flavors available. A wider variety would definitely enhance the experience for adults and adventurous eaters alike.Overall, if you're looking for a place where your kids will be thrilled with their dessert, Mad Dogs Creamery is a great choice. Just be prepared for a potentially smaller range of options than some other creameries might offer.

Terrific ice cream for a reasonable price. My wife and I got soft serve cones and it was only 4.99 a piece. Yeah, great price for a tourist town. Stop in and say hi and get you a cone. They do have a huge variety! 5 out of 5 🌟

Had a great experience here today at ~5:00pm Tues, Oct 14th '25. The guy and the girl working here were very nice, efficient, and the serving size was big. Cute little place to stop for a quick cone.
Chris P — Google review
The ice cream was good - I had black cherry and my husband had a chocolate malt. But this place is *grimy*. Like really dirty and sticky. We sat at a table outside since there's barely any inside seating. I honestly wanted to leave as soon as I was done eating because it just felt gross. Makes me wonder about the state of the kitchen and the cleanliness of the staff. Not somewhere we will be back to.

Graze Burgers, located on Bruce Street in downtown Sevierville, is a casual eatery known for its grass-fed beef burgers and a variety of other delectable options. In addition to their popular burgers, the menu features hot dogs, soups, salads, and indulgent milkshakes. The restaurant offers an array of starters such as charred wings with bourbon barbecue and crispy-fried local green tomatoes with house-made pimento cheese and bacon jam.
Found this place on a whim after a car show. VERY glad we did. Food is excellent. My wife and zip split a Trailer Park hot dog and a Tennessee burger and 50/50 onion rings and fries. All excellent. Fries are like fair fries. Onion rings have a funnel cake like breading. Fried green tomatoes were excellent! Highly recommend!
Nick E — Google review
Excellent Burgers! Almost too big to take a bite. We got the Local Farmer's and the Mighty Bison and both had a ton of flavor. The onion rings were very crispy and I recommend those over the fries. We will 💯 be back.
Adam L — Google review
I bet the GM Bruce’s nickname is Bruce Almighty because what he was doing tonight when we came in was other-worldly. He was working the bar and several bar tables, helping in the kitchen. It was impressive to watch. The food was also spectacular, no smushed to oblivion burger here, not the biggest burger out there but very tasty. Fresh cut fries, fresh battered rings. As I eat possibly the best onion ring I’ve ever had. No complaints and I love complaining. Will definitely be back and tell Bruce Almighty the extra rings guy said hey. Everything was fresh and they even do their own bacon!!
Rod M — Google review
What a terrific hole in the wall burger place!!!! I am so happy I asked a local where to get the best burger in town as I was traveling from NC to TX. The atmosphere is old industrial with original brick walls and beautiful hardwood floors and the menu is well thought out. I had the “Classic” burger and beer batter onion rings. Everything was high quality from the atmosphere, the food, the service, even the napkins were thick and good quality. I spoke with the general manager and they have an Italian restaurant as well. Too bad I am not in town for a day. If you are traveling down I40, this place is worth the 20 minute detour for a quality burger!!! Thanks guys.
Greg H — Google review
Awesome burgers and seriously good quality! Love that they offer gluten free options. We grabbed ours to go, and it was still piping hot and super fresh. Can’t wait to come back and dine in next time!
Kate F — Google review
I like to eat places that are not on the Parkway when visiting the area. The fried green tomatoes where good, but not the best that I have had. Fries were good, but I like more seasoning on them. The Bourbon Bleu burger was fantastic. It by itself was enough to make me come back next time I am in town and the reason for 5 stars. Parking was across the street and location was nice in old downtown.
Ranger R — Google review
My burger and fries were cold. I ordered the bison burger medium well and it was luke warm at best. The fries were a bit dry and seemed like they've been sitting for a while. The pork was good just a bit too sweet for me.
El ( — Google review
Update: Was back in town and went to Graze again. Everything is still delicious! The patio is dog friendly and they were nice enough to wait on our group even though it was a little hot. The burgers here are really great - very juicy, delicious toppings and a bun that doesn't fall apart but not dry either. We had the Chili Chili Bang Bang and the Bourbon burger and would order both again. But the real star here is those onion rings!!! BEST ONION RINGS I'VE EVER HAD!!! We were too full to try a milkshake but will next time!

Located in the heart of The Island in Pigeon Forge, Island Creamery is a compact shop that offers a delightful selection of ice cream flavors served in hand-dipped chocolate waffle cones. After exploring the complex and enjoying attractions like The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel and the carousel ride, visitors can treat themselves to delicious ice cream or mouthwatering smoothies at this tempting ice cream parlor.
The ice cream was all great! No issues with service, a little chaotic but when their line is out the door constantly I can understand the desire to rush. The Reese's Sunday was excellent! The prices were actually very reasonable and quantities given were large. I'll happily come back!
Just — Google review
I’m honestly not sure why this place gets so many low reviews— their rolled ice cream is outstanding! Creamy, flavorful, and beautifully crafted, each roll was a little work of art. But what really stood out was the staff: super friendly, genuine smiles, and so happy to help with flavor choices and toppings. They really made the experience fun. In my visit, the ice cream was top-notch and the service even better. If you’re in the mood for a delicious treat and great vibes, this spot is definitely worth a try— ignore the low star count and give it a chance!
Kristen — Google review
Went when it was busy, they did have a lot of counter help thankfully. We ordered 2 sundaes. The one I had the ice cream was sweet, but the ice creams flavor was kinda missing and it was honestly not that smooth, had some ice in it. I can easily make a better sundae at home🤷‍♂️. There were only 2 tables for the customers which is really inconvenient and silly. You wander around looking for somewhere to sit while your ice cream melts. There were a lot of chairs around the water feature outside. But they are taken up by non customer older folks who come only to watch the lighted fountains “i wish that was a joke”.
Eric — Google review
Nice place to cool down. Pricing is reasonable. We picked our ice creams and sat in the chairs near the fountain and to top off the ice cream we had the perfect fountain show (unexpected, never knew abt that).
D X — Google review
Island Creamery is a perfect spot to cool off on a hot day! The ice cream was delicious and the portion sizes were generous, a single scoop was more than enough and priced reasonably. We tried six different flavors and not a single complaint from our group. I had the coffee ice cream, and it hit the spot, creamy, rich, and not overly sweet. My husband had the vanilla and said it was one of the best classic vanillas he’s had. My son devoured his mint chocolate chip, and my daughter was obsessed with her strawberry, especially the fun pink color. Service was quick and efficient, which we appreciated with kids in tow. The only downside was that shaded seating is pretty limited. If you don’t mind a bit of sun, the chairs around the fountain are a nice spot to sit and enjoy your treat. Overall, a great local ice cream stop we’d happily return to!
Theresa N — Google review
Normally, I don’t bother writing reviews but this experience was pretty disappointing compared to what I’d expect. First of all, the wait at Island Creamery in Pigeon Forge was super long, and they weren’t moving people through very efficiently. By the time we finally got to the counter, we ordered an ice cream to share — a double scoop, with one scoop of blue cotton candy and one scoop of chocolate. Instead, the guy put the scoops in two separate cups, so we ended up paying for two single scoops instead of a double. On top of that, they gave us the wrong ice cream — we got Superman instead of the blue cotton candy. Overall, not a great experience.
Brandon J — Google review
Spontaneously decided to try Island Creamery and we LOVED it. The kids sundaes were fantastic, and seeing the smiles it brought my children made it all worth it. The options and flavors were great, definitely worth visiting if you like a sweet treat.
Marissa F — Google review
We had 2 single scoop kids cones and a banana split. The ice cream was decent but the service was odd and the prices are not as they are shown. It was posted $8.95 for banana split and $3 for kids scoops which should be less than $20 after tax but was somehow nearly $30. There is no where to sit with your ice cream. I prefer glades soda fountain or chocolate monkey and will probably not return here.

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is a popular counter-serve chain known for its delightful range of cold treats. Located in Pigeon Forge, it offers creamy frozen custards and freshly made Italian ice with real fruit flavors. Whether you prefer the rich, creamy texture of frozen custard or the refreshing taste of Italian ice, Rita's has something for everyone. The menu includes options like Gelati, which combines both treats in one cup.
One of my favorite frozen desserts! Great staff. Multiple daily flavors to pick from. Can also do flavor combinations, or choose from the seasonal specials. Ice flights are also a great option to pick 4 flavors. The ice flavors are dairy-free. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Joshua S — Google review
Absolutely love RITA’S. I definitely recommend the layered gelati with chocolate custard and cherry Italian ice. They have seats indoor and outdoor.
Ashley — Google review
Good option for a sweet treat but plan on taking it to go. We came in as a party of 9 looking for something sweet. The ice was our favorite, especially the mango and lemon. Prices were good, staff was helpful and accommodating. The only downside is the size of the lobby. It was raining so we had to eat in the car. Two small tables restrict party size. Overall, good chain and we enjoyed the break during vacation!
Jeramie O — Google review
The small inside dining area provides a great experience of up close service with a smile. So many options and flavors to choose from caught me off guard and it took awhile for me to select the perfect combination. I decided to go with the wild black cherry gelati. Reasonably priced with a decent portion and definitely some curb appeal. The custard was rich, creamy, and mixed well with the shaved ice. Well enjoyed!! Plan on spending $10-$15 for 2 people.

Came to this location late on a Thursday night (8pm). Even this close to closing, there was a long line of customers and only 2 young ladies working. These girls hustled, were friendly, and seemed calm and collected under the pressure!! Well done ladies! It would be nice if during tourist season they had 3-4 workers to keep up with demand. We love Rita’s and don’t have one where we live but I would absolutely come back when in Gatlinburg.

Great yogurt and good service. From Ohio and love frozen yogurt! Was happy to see new flavors and toppings. There was a coupon in one of the booklets for travelers and I was about to use it at this location (even though it was only a $1 or so of)

Well, strap me in and call me a sprinkle-meister, because Sweet Frog Premium Yogurt in Sevierville is an absolute sweet-sational experience! They've really gone the whole nine yards to make you feel like a kid in a candy store, even if you're a grown-up dad like me. The variety of flavors and toppings is so expansive, it’s like they had a secret recipe for happiness! The quality here is so on point, it’s practically in a dairy-y tale! I was absolutely bowled over by how many genuine options they have. It's not just a couple of standard choices; it's a vibrant palette of frozen delights! You can practically hear the joyful laughter of kids (and adults!) choosing their perfect swirl. They even have fresh fruit and candies, which are so appealing, they'll make your taste buds sing, "I'm the king of the world!" (Though my wife gave me the cold shoulder for that one again.) And the staff? Oh, my goodness, the exceptional service really makes this experience berry-licious! They’re all so friendly and enthusiastic, it’s clear they’re not just going through the motions; they're genuinely invested in making your visit memorable. They’re truly a-MAZING! Trust me, it’s an experience that’s truly un-cone-ventional in your memories! You’ll be glad you scooped yourself into this adventure!

Place was clean and quite. Had a handful of yogurt machines out with note about distributor product delay issue. Put together this mix from the well stocked toppings section. Cost $9.68 and the staff member with a friendly demeanor rang us out quickly.
Kill'N'Fuel — Google review
When we ordered two caramel macchiatos we accidentally said hot but corrected it to two iced, and I guess the lady taking our order must’ve forgot to add that to our order? Then we were never told our total until we already swiped the card. As a service worker myself, it really helps when workers tell us our total on the intercom as well as repeat the order back so no mistakes are made.
Tressa O — Google review
We had frozen yogurt at the Sweet Frog. The flavors were good. It’s convenient to the RV park that’s across the street. Nice outdoor seating area. They are really short staffed in the evening as on person was operating both the coffee and yogurt side. The price was much higher than expected.

It’s clear this place is designed with families in mind, making it a great destination for a casual outing that everyone can enjoy. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

This place is great for fro yo! They had a ton of different flavors and loads of toppings to choose from! There was plenty of amazing options for anyone in the family. Also great for parents because it shares a building with a coffee shop. The best part, they had lids to take it on the go if you were done eating inside!
Valerie L — Google review
Went to the drive through this morning. They weren't busy. I ordered a bagel and cream cheese...that's all! Got to the window, sat there and sat there and sat there. Nobody even acknowledged the existence of somebody at the drive through window so after close to ten minutes of nobody coming to take my money or even acknowledging that there were people there, I left. I only ordered a bagel and cream cheese there because I was hungry, but not a coffee because their coffee is not good. And their smoothies are about like something you can make at home for a lot cheaper.

The custard was amazing! Great place got to take professional photos with the jeep in front of the murals. The huge duck was fun and I got to see the two live bears. Also bought some stuff. Great place with the most friendly people to visit. It is a must go next year for the Great Smoky Jeep Invasion 2026
Laurie C — Google review
Wow! What a NEAT place!! YES there really are LIVE bears!! It’s $3.50 per adult and $2.50 per child to see the bears. The enclosure has two levels, where you can go down the stairs to see them on their level as well. That area is not handicap accessible though. The entrance to the bar counter is on the second floor, but they do have an escalator to go up, as well as an elevator for the main area. The shop is filled with all kinds of amazing things, as well as a little area for food and ice cream and things of that nature as well. The staff we encountered were very polite and helpful.
Honor W — Google review
If you like gift shops, this is the place to go, AND there's a whole Christmas section upstairs. Plus, it's $3.50pp there to see the live bears on site (which we skipped). Out back is a huge mural that most of the Jeepsters were taking photos in front of before The Great Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion 2025.

Myself, my disabled mother, and my doggie were all welcome here and able to get around with ease. My mother was able to see the bears from the balcony in her wheelchair. We also had old time photos done here by a photographer named CJ and another man who were very accommodating for my disabled mother and dogs in our photos as well. We were able to have a wonderfully fun time together here and hope to bring more friends in the future

The amount of money I had to hold myself back from spending was crazy! They have everything. Total tourist trap! You can even see two bears and feed them (from afar). It’s only $3.50 to get in to see them too. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in here.

Reds Soda Fountain and Ice Cream Parlor in downtown Sevierville has decided to discontinue lunch service during the week due to the increasing demand for special events at their sister venues. However, they will remain open seven days a week, offering dinner service starting at 4:00 and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00-2:30.
My husband and I visited Reds soda fountain for the first time this past weekend. We absolutely loved it! We got hot dogs, Dr Pepper float and a brownie sundae. Everything was so delightful! The staff was so friendly I didn’t catch any names but all of them on Friday June 6 after 4 pm were all wonderful. A gentleman took our order and was so helpful with helping us decide what to get and was so patient with us! We loved everything from the food and ice cream to the atmosphere of the place and the people working there made our experience exceptional and we can’t wait to come back!

So we decided to stop here for a quick lunch on one of the days visiting and this place is a gem. Its a legit old fashioned soda and ice cream shop, you don't see these anymore at all so its very unique. The atmosphere had 50s vibes and the workers were awesome. We had old fashioned Coca-Cola along with their famous hot dogs, i tried the works dog and it was great, everything meshes together nice, its definitely unique. We had peanut butter milkshakes but they got delicious malts too. I highly recommend coming here as its been in business since 1946, its just an amazing spot to visit.

Adorable!! We had the pleasure of dining here yesterday and so glad we did. The staff were wonderful and the gentleman that took our order was extremely nice and helpful. We devoured our food and drinks before we could get pics but it was all delicious! My husband got The Works hot dog and an ice cream soda. I had the chicken salad croissant and the best milkshake I’ve ever had - peanut butter cheesecake! So yummy! We will definitely be visiting again soon!

I had the hotdog. And it was delicious my wife had the bacon and chicken wrap. She said OK. My friends had to hot dogs and they loved it.

We stopped by Red’s to celebrate our son’s birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff was warm, friendly, and professional, making us feel right at home. The ice cream was everything you hope for—rich, creamy, full of flavor, served nice and cold, and with generous portions. If you go, don’t miss the soda flight—it’s a fun, nostalgic treat! Red’s is everything an ice cream shop should be, from the old-time charm to the homemade goodness. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in downtown Sevierville!

An awesome old fashioned soda fountain in downtown Sevierville. The girls are very helpful and offered my kids samples. They have everything an old time soda shop would have. Ice cream, shakes, floats, soda drinks, and some grab and go food items. The atmosphere is nostalgic and very cozy. A free jukebox which the kids loved. A small gift and packaged good area. An old time soda fountain bar as well as booths. A step back in time and totally worth a visit plus the ice cream is fantastic.

Fantastic! Great people! Best dairy free ice cream EVER! And for the rest of the party, we loved ours too! The portion sizes are generous. People made it even more special. Came here multiple times because of them!

First, the staff is amazing and so nice. It's like it's their best day ever when you walk in. Second, the blackberry and vanilla ice cream float was the best I've ever had. They have fresh sandwiches that were great as well.
