Visited Pasifico Baku with girls and, unfortunately, we experienced what felt like rudeness and discrimination. My friend was asked to leave simply for laughing loudly; instead of a gentle reminder about noise, it turned into an eviction. We also noticed that guests seemed to be treated with more respect if they came with older, wealthy men — giving the place a noticeable “sugar daddy” vibe. I hope management invests in kinder communication and a more inclusive atmosphere where every woman can relax and feel respected.

Called before going to ask if I need a reservation to go me and my wife and they said that I could walk in before 11PM and it would be free of charge without a minimum spend, after 11PM would be 100 manat charge on the table, which is around 60$ understandable since this is what we pay in Dubai for 2-3 beers. Came here Saturday, august the 3rd, walked in only to get hit by oh sorry you have to pay, I was like you i discussed it with one of your associates a day before and you guys are contradicting each other? I was like its okay I will go and come back once the party starts past midnight. I go to nizami street to roam and shop till it gets past midnight only to go there and be greeted by two “supervisors” i believe, or at least thats what they think they are. The bouncers looks at them and goes like they don’t have a reservation and clearly I do and they say oh sorry, you can’t go in because of the dress code. I am wearing a black giving movement shirt with baggy jeans a converse. Kept arguing that I cant go in when I told him we enter many places wearing even less casual clothes since its hot and he goes like: YeAh ThIs Is NoT DuBaI. You both should be educated about how to treat potential customers, have some manners and work on your communication. Come to Dubai and we’ll show you the authentic ways of hospitality. Thanks for ruining a perfect trip that was supposed to end at your place.

Stunning place, I tried twice food was amazing, since it was a weekday it was less crowded.

Very good party! We asked someone close to Nasimi street if they know a good place to have good music and he recommended Barfly. After many disappointing bars this finally was very nice. We originally just wanted to stay a little but we ended up being there for 2-3 hours. We were lucky to fit in since it was packed but due to the late hours some group left and we could dance too. The DJ really felt the crowd which is so rare nowdays. Thank you BarFly for the good party. If you go there I recommend you book a table in advance.

I turned up at 5pm to have a quick drink after a work meeting. I traveled to Baku for a work meeting so I was alone and unfortunately my wife and child were not with me…: so instead of just going back to the hotel I wanted to soak in a bit of the local culture but was sadly turned away as I was by myself…it was couples only. The bar was pretty much empty. Anyways I ended up at the coffee & jazz bar a little further up which was a fantastic little spot with great food, drinks and attentive staff. The morale of the story is skip barfly and go straight to the jazz bar 🍾

It is a decent club. The music is ok but some things just didn't click with me. For example there is a guy waiting on you in the lavatories; to give you tissues after you wash your hands. I don't know how to describe how that made me feel.

You are not allowed to go in without a female (no exceptions) , and they don’t even mention anything about this anywhere on their website or Social media . BUT instead they will offer you a table INSIDE for min of 500 AZN it’s around $350 US Dollars . The whole night was so much disappointing for me and my lady. The guys who served our table were very rude, impolite and having big difficulties in understanding English. I have repeated my order three times, still they delivered wrong items and worst they have charged it to my final bill. I don’t recommend to think of going to this place 👎.

Don't know what to say because when we went there they were only serving foods at that night (was monday). So we came back home, but to be honest we didn't know if we could get a dance chance there or not, because clubs are proper for hooking mostly in Baku

Probably the best burger in the city! The flavors were spot on, and the quality was excellent. The place has two separate halls—one for smokers and one for non-smokers—which makes it comfortable for everyone. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the mood for a great burger.

They were replaced with another type, but when calculating, the first burger was charged approximately 28 AZN and after paying attention to the bill, it was adjusted because the alternative burger was 15 AZN. I visited this restaurant for lunch today with my colleagues. Unfortunately, we found a worm in the soup that was served to us. It was very disappointing and concerning from a hygiene and food safety perspective. Although we quietly asked to change the dish, and the staff did replace it without making a fuss, we were still charged the full price, including the service fee — as if nothing had happened. No apology or any compensation was offered. This kind of experience really affects customer trust. I hope the management takes food hygiene more seriously in the future. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

We arrived at the place for the third time and it will also be the last time .. The atmosphere is young and the place is very clean. The service is very good. There are also fair prices. The food looks great in the menu photos but tasteless. We tried several different dishes but they all had a bland taste and for those you had it was not special and not even that tasty.

Btw, all the other restaurants of these owners are really nice as well. But!) It's not a beer apothecary). When you go to the doctor, he has a choice of recipes and pills)). And this "apteka" it's like village pharmacy) a few beers and nothing unique and exclusive. Only bloody lagers and Pilsen). It is not a grown-up approach).

Honestly, this resturant is a must try if you are in Baku. I totally loved the whole concept. It was quite unique. The set up was giving the scientafic feel especially the bar. Also, the staff was wearing the lab coats in order to go with the theme. The best thing about the place is that its open till 2:00 AM.

A nice atmosphere, the restaurant is set on two levels. You can spent a pleasant evening and enjoy the delicious food. Sushi is very good. Music is very entertaining and you have try the cocktails! Staff is very attentive and welcoming, and they wore so helpful, i wanted a dish they didn't have in the menu and the chef prepared it specially for me. One of my favourite places in Baku.

Great bar with a restaurant company by a great music

The restaurant is located in Monaco and very easy to find. The moment I entered it, I was fascinated by the atmosphere and decoration. We were a group of three and had reserved a table online. Sadly, one part of the menu did not have an English version, but the friendly waitress explained everything in fluent English (which is not expectable in France!). We ordered the lunch set menu and were very satisfied by the chef‘s creations. The combinations were wonderful abd supported the taste. I‘d like to note that a reservation is highly recommended, eventhough the process might be a little complicated. I can understand that no-shows are irritating, but having customers depositing their credit card for a cancellation fee of 150€ in case late modification of the booking or no-show is an overreaction in my opinion. I think the restaurant should trust customers for calling in advance, if they no they cannot show up.

Not what I expected from this place. Interior design etc all looks great but it was Friday night and the place was EMPTY! Literally empty. We ordered tuna rolls and the tuna was from the can (though they were denying it) and served warm. Disappointing ...

Utterly disoppinted with the level of service and communication level at the reservations and no one was on the floor to recieve us to lead us to the table. The person on the phone taking the reservations was highly rude when we arrived at the recieption and we were asked to remove our blazzers which she confused with a fur over coat. the staff needs a lot of training with soft skills and specially english speaking skills.

Expensive, Watered down drinks, I had 4 drinks and I didn't even feel tipsy, barely any people there, even on a Saturday. Music is techno and all sounded the same. They require a 50 manat minimum order total per-person. The food was okay. Avoid this place, you're not missing out on anything.

I loved the live band, absolutely amazing and such a vibe. The food is really great and as well the draught beer. Ordered a pizza and a club sandwich everything was just perfect until the DJ arrived , the DJ was really bad.

The place is good for drinking and cjillimg but it’s allowed to smoke inside so not recommended ones who can’t take it. In general I would say it’s good after midnight so you can come here drink and hangout. Prices are same as the pubs around and service is fine. Sometimes they want deposit so beware before going. For the beer they have very tasty one ( HB - Hofbräu Munich) which I would say advise anyone to taste it here. Food sucks, will never order again. We have ordered dusbere, and asked them to make sure it is not oversalted. Guess what it was. Chicken Caesar salad, had warm dressing on the bottom. Fajitas had some local spices added:) what a joke.

Just back from a weekend in Baku to watch the F1. This was our go to bar every evening afterwards. The atmosphere was great, fans from all over the world mingling. It was busy but the beer way good, the service was great and the live music they had on was perfect. We didn't eat but would have no problems recommending this. Let me start with the positive thing: The food is really amazing, taste-wise as well as quality wise. Hence, I would like to give a 5 star for that. Other than that, nothing deserves more than 3 star. The ambience is ok, not really what someone can crave for. There is Live music which is generally Metal and much louder than a discotheque. The singer doesn't accept any requests without money and would keep on singing songs of his choice although there would be so many requests in queue without caring whether the crowd is enjoying. Some people go to pubs and bars for having some good female company, which is also average here.

I had both a good and bad experience in this restaurant. The first time, they made our indian food soooo spicy even though we EMPHASIZED not spicy at all. We ended up sick for 3 days. The 2nd time, the chef wanted to make it up to us for our 1st horrible experience, and he made us DELICIOUS Chinese food. It was full of flavour! We wiped the dishes clean. Their Gulab Jamun is so good. Make sure to leave room for desserts

Good place for foreign people, live music until midnight, staff was so good, in the weekend they had live music but in the weekdays you can play billiard, It has restaurant in the upstairs, and pub in the down stairs.

Another bar/club in Baku where the band is good. Unfortunately, that is all I can say about this place. The service is horrible and the place smells of curry (this is an Indian club?). And it gets very hot inside (we went there in early July and the temps were in the 90s). Not sure if they had the AC running. It was so hot, we had to leave as we couldn't take it.

German pub in Baku💃🏼 The setting of this restaurant is unique and stands out from other places. The atmosphere is also great. The food is enjoyable; however, the service leaves much to be desired. Even during non-peak hours, the wait times are excessively long. During one visit, we waited over 30 minutes for a dessert included in our lunch meal deal and eventually left without receiving it. Additionally, the allowance of indoor smoking in the restaurant is highly unpleasant and disruptive to the dining experience.

Had a nice time and some nice food in the Harbour this afternoon. Decided to order King Prawns to take away. Very disappointed when I opened the carton only to find the smallest King Prawns I have ever seen, not even a bit of garnish. If King Prawns were not available, just let me know. Don't just give me the nearest thing you have. Big big dissapointment.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My bill was 46.20 AZN, and I paid 50 AZN. The waitress gave me only 3 AZN in change instead of 3.80 AZN. I had to notice this myself and ask about it—only then did she offer to return the missing 1 AZN. However, I didn’t take it. If there was an issue with small change, she should have informed me beforehand rather than waiting for me to catch the mistake. On top of that, the price of still water was ridiculously high—8 AZN for a simple bottle. This place clearly overcharges and lacks transparency. Won’t be returning. Food and atmosphere were great though…

Note a review from 2016. The evening food is good, for Baku a reasonable curry can be eaten here with varying spice levels. The beer is good too. A big down side is the time it can be taken to get served and then wait for your meal. If you're not in a rush, order sit back enjoy the loud live music and drink while you wait.

Gorgeous little wine bar in Baku (there aren’t many). We loved the pomegranate wine, and I tried to brut too which was sharp and bubbly. Really nice vibe and the staff are very knowledgeable! Came two nights in a row. Need to book though, the second night we ended up squished at the bar - still worth it though. Snacks looks very good too. Will have to try next time

Had already bookmarked this as a potential due to its proximity to our apartment. Great atmosphere, chilled and relaxing. Food platters are nice and selection of wines plentiful. It’s a very popular place so either book for evening or chill at the bar. You won’t be disappointed.

Visited the bar last year with colleagues (2024) but was brief due to unforeseen circumstances within our party. The management dealt with it swiftly and with compassion, so, whilst revisiting Baku again this year, I decided to revisit this bar and found it. This year I came with my husband and was welcomed with open arms. The Manager remembered my wine choice from last year and I was amazed. The vibe is lovely, chilled and trendy and the place itself is so clean. I highly recommend !!

A chic little spot in a lively part of town, KEFLI absolutely charmed us! What started as a simple wine tasting became one of the highlights of our Baku trip. Beyond the lovely decor and ambience, we have to shout out our server Timur, who delivered a masterclass in hospitality while effortlessly managing a packed house. He's undoubtedly one of the biggest draws — people just couldn't get enough of him. My partner and I highly recommend adding KEFLI to your Baku itinerary!

People kept telling me that Hops is the pub in town, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a real disappointment. Maybe this place was cool 25 years ago, but it no longer has that true pub atmosphere. The football décor is everywhere, perfectly arranged, yet the soul of the place feels missing. What really made me leave, though, was the toxic exchange between the owner (I assume the man behind the counter) and what seemed to be his wife. Watching how harshly they spoke to each other was simply unpleasant.

I never ordered food just went for beers after long hot sightseeing days, a great dive bar with football on the TV, pool table and great atmosphere, seems popular with Russian locals, I would return if in Baku again the barman seems a nice guy

It’s nice place to visit in evening if you want good view this is my opinion The Flame Towers in Baku truly nice place to visit , no matter where you view them from in the city with nice and modern structure especially at night , we just take a ticket for the ride for going up it’s like 2 manat for one person we as family really like the ride also then they drop us up next to the flame tower you can enjoy there full view of the towers are always like shimmering flames. With small garden and sea view and you can see crescent mall from top view – a must-see for any visitor. Flame Towers are great to visit but it is mainly a hotel and restaurant on 19th floor. The central terrace is actually a pool deck and accessible for residents only. Best is a 15 minute walk to the Manzara Restaurant for the magnificent Baku City view. Do this you will not regret it.

While in Baku, I wanted to try Hard Rock cafe so went to Nizami Street to have a dine-in .I must say the place was absolutely rocking. Tha ambiance was great and the food was awesome without a doubt. The quality of the food was above average and appetizing.

The staff were not very welcoming. I’m starting to think tourists are not welcome in Baku, there has been a trend with the attitude. The waiter was not accommodating and the food was super cold. How is a burger served cold? How are onion rings served cold? The waiter did not even bother with heating to exchanging the meals. The manager came over to the table and was courteous enough to offer an exchange (we declined) and he knocked off one order off the bill. This is customer service (a little too late). Overall experience was not pleasant.

The hard Rock experience was great! However the punch in the cocktails was missing. The interiors and the vibe is great. I would love to see their cocktails get a little better

Located in the middle of the city with fancy interior. I would say best place to eat nachos. For beer selection for a place like this I would love to see Guinness yet there wasn’t( maybe now there is I don’t know). Hard Rock Cafe Baku has everything you can want and need for good dining in Baku. Good central location, and of course, a very high standard of food and drinks. It is always crowded, but somehow in this type of restaurant, you don't even mind. I liked it very much.

The charcuterie platter was excellent but non halal, which was as I like it. No vile turkey ham which is like spam. Complimentary olives and tiny bread sticks with the wine.The staff are obviously well trained. Nearly all the wines are available by the glass as one would expect in a wine bar. Great selection of local wine. Booking essential.

Last time I visited, I was there with my family celebrating a special occasion. I’ve been a regular at this place for nearly 10 years, but this experience was extremely disappointing. At the table next to us, there was a group of women (35+) who started behaving very inappropriately. One of them began trying to “twerk” in front of my sister’s fiancé, clearly attempting to flirt. This made my sister very uncomfortable, especially given her health condition, which requires her to avoid stressful situations. We discreetly informed the waiters about what was happening and even asked for one of our bills early, anticipating the situation could escalate. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t take our request seriously. It was obvious they valued those women more because they were attracting male clients, regardless of how disrespectful their behavior was. The situation worsened when one of the women loudly mocked my sister, saying things like, “I twerk for your fiancé, and I do it well.” I warned her several times to stop, but she continued, provoking not just my sister but also me. She even began threatening me, saying things like, “You’ll see how I handle you.” At that point, I lost patience and poured her drink back on her face—because from the very beginning, her behavior had been nothing but disrespectful. Instead of addressing the root cause, the staff grabbed me, forced me out, and even kept my personal belongings inside, while those women remained inside continuing their behavior. To this day, those same women are still welcome there because they bring in more “clients,” while I, a loyal customer for a decade, was permanently banned for standing up against blatant disrespect. Very poor management. Very poor service. Absolutely below 1 star.

I visit this place Everytime I am in Baku since it opened. Food and wine selections is great. You won't be able to get breer on tap, only bottled and couple cocktails options. Fountains Square is a lively and beautiful place, especially during the evenings. I visited with my family and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the atmosphere and tried the Flaker cinnamon cake — soft, warm, and full of flavor! A perfect treat while walking around the square. Annual celebrations and festivals are held here, along with delicious food stalls. I highly recommend visiting it during New Year’s Eve.

Located near Nizami Street and just a short walk from the Old City (Icherisheher), it serves as a central gathering point for both locals and tourists. The square dates back to the Soviet era, and its name comes from the numerous decorative fountains installed throughout the area — many of which were built in the 1950s–70s. Love this place. The fountains at night are magical. The whole area is a nightlife in itself. Vibrant and buzzing. I never felt unsafe and I love it.

We weren’t informed that seats are for reservations. We were just told that we need to pay 15manat per person as entrance fee. The manager doesn’t even know how to compromise with us. She just told us we should have asked them if we need to pay for the seat. And told us that they are short of staff. Which isn’t even reasonable. What if we have ordered food already and expecting that we are going to eat with a table and will be seated comfortably. It is best that they should have done something. We have ordered food without a proper seat and proper table. After finishing the ordered food and drink we have left the place. Hope they know better in managing their customers well. Stumbled upon this place on a night walk while visiting Baku, really cool local bar with good prices, great service and lovely atmosphere with music playing just at the right volume, came back the next day. Really recommended after a long day for a cold beer and a snack. Waiters are English speaking and really friendly, service is also fast. There is a stage that hosts live music on occasions, probably on weekends but unfortunately didn't get the chance to see one, next time.

I was very excited to try out this place based on the good reviews. First, they didn’t honor my reservation that supposed to see the stage, then they said they are no accepting credit cards just that day. Average jazz band, after sitting down with a drink I was then informed there was a cover charge, then later I was removed from my table as a larger group wanted the table, other tables had a reserved sign but not the one I was sat at. Fortunately there are many other live music venues to choose from.

I arrived in town earlier in the day and felt like experiencing some music and I found this excellent restaurant. I find the local food quite bland but the quality was ok. The atmosphere was great. The jazz singer was enchanting. The jazz pianist was extremely versatile and improvised well.

It was great to listen to the jazz singer and piano player on a warm summer night. Both of the artists surprised us by highly performed compositions in English and (Brazilian) Portuguese. We enjoyed both, the music and the atmosphere

Place is superb, deserves 5 star, but the people here are rude, cheaters and emotionless. Your experience will start right from the taxi driver, who will never intend to return the change money. I was amazed and astonished by the architecture and structural of this metro station... replica of Louvre Museum in Paris. For 1st timer, Baku Card or BakiKart is worth 5AZN then you can load for 2AZN and you can keep it as a souvenir. Per ride is 0.30AZN... Love the escalator part, very long and narrow which I felt I am falling and take more or less 5 mins. There is an English signages aside from local signages. Btw, taking pictures is prohibited esp in the flatform area.

The building is one of a kind and can not be missed visiting when you are in Baku. The entry ticket is 15 mannat and I would suggest skip buying the car museum ticket of 10 mannat. Inside its more of a Art and architecture museum which might be loved by artistic tourist but not to attractive for a common tourist. Its a symbolic place in baku and you should not miss it.

If you’re an art lover, this place is a must-visit. There are separate sections dedicated to different art forms, and in Basement 3, you’ll find a collection of vintage cars that’s absolutely stunning. Each car is a piece of history, and you’ll love exploring them. Overall, it’s a perfect blend of culture, creativity, and elegance — a place where every corner has something to admire.

What a place! The building is amazing! The art collection is amazing. The African artist featured is amazing. In the basement is a collection of priceless cars. Absolutely stunning. The building itself is amazing. You have to come and visit this place.

Beautiful building and interesting display of elements with cultural and historical significance. It’s a huge building and if you are with kids or seniors you may need the full day. The only criticism is that the building and surrounding is bot very accessible with people with mobility issues like seniors or families with strollers. For example the building entrance has very steep ramps for visitors on feet. Or stairs are very large but elevator are tiny.

A very well designed center. The exhibitions are in different styles and can attract everyone's attention in terms of variety of subjects. The musical instruments section really caught my attention, it was the best area I've seen. You can tour for almost 4 hours. The classic car exhibition is very nice, the only problem is that the -3 floor is too hot. The museum has lockers. There is a suitable place for bags and suitcases.

If you are a tourist the best time to come is breakfast it tends to not be as crowded with much more pleasant atmosphere. Great breakfast choices. Try to avoid later hours for it does get pack here and be mindful of locals they will stare at you while you eat if you are in an interracial relationship. The 2nd time we came here for brunch was absolutely uncomfortable 😣 they sat us next to a table of four local females who constantly were turning around looking at us in disbelief of being together and through language similarities to Turkish they made comments of me being in my current relationship for money. Although I work in healthcare and not the case. We understand restaurants have no control of clients but when our waiter participated in the conversation also chiming it was absolutely disheartening to hear xenophobic and colorist remarks about my fiancée.

Visisted this place for my bday lunch as nothing satisfies me more than a good Asian meal. The ambience impressed me when I entered but the food (for vegetarians) was a total disappointment. They do have a separate menu for vegetarian but few of the dishes were not available and I was left flabbergasted when the server asked me if it was ok to add oyster sauce in my noodle (duh!) No attempts were made to customise the dishes for us. The dishes which we ordered tasted well below average and the server admitted that vegetarian food is not their USP. Neways this lunch didn’t turn out to be the way we expected. Do I recommend this place for vegetarian- absolutely no.

Really impressive asian food that was not expected in Baku. Normally when a restaurant does a mix of thai, chinese, japanese, korean etc, it struggles to capture the authenticity of each type of cuisine but somehow it works here. Had a pad thai and sweet and sour pork and both thoroughly satisfied my cravings.

We loved everything about this place. The food was delicious. The green curry was some of the best and we loved the coriander chicken rice. Amazing service too!

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant in city center. After spending almost a week in Baku, I felt like having some non local food. I'm glad I picked Latitude. Service was friendly and prompt. The manager, Nahid, came by and asked if everything was to my satisfaction. I ordered their duck dish, roasted vegetables and tea ice cream. Everything was delicious. One of the best meals I've had in Baku so far.

Really good spot to hangout, especially during the night. The entire street is so lively. It has lot of options for shopping, local and international cuisines. Just be aware of the scammers. Small children might approach with roses and intimidate us.

You can find cuisines from any continent with authentic taste. There are many clothing and jewelry shops as well among all the eateries. All the streets are very beautifully constructed and lit with dim yellow lights making it an even better scene at night. It's a must visit in Baku.

I had dinner at this restaurant, and really loved the vibe of this place. I like the service as the waiters were helpful and responsive. I felt that the food menu was limited and slightly on the higher side. While I was there for dinner, there was no live music. Additionally, there are 2 washrooms and both were clean and hygienic. I tried the Prawns pasta and Chicken pasta – both were tasty and quite filling (the quantity is perfect for 1). As for the drinks, I tried the Tropicano mocktail which was not upto mark. About the desserts, I tried 3 options however the Strawberry Cheescake was the best among all. I highly recommend the Chicken pasta and Strawberry cheesecake

Last night I went for iftar and ordered iftar menu. Food was good but not the best. Light in the restaurant was vey low I couldn't see what I eat. Service was terrible. No one was coming to our table. At the end a waitress brought teapot without cups. And after we asked they brought cups after 10 minutes and tea was already cold. I'm really disappointed it didn't deserve my money.

The meals are very bad. We ordered Fettuchini with salmon but the fish smelled bad and we didn't eat it. Also bruschetta with spinach and ricotta cheese and this was also very bad... The beer was good but the waiter messed up the food order and refused to take it back even though it was a misunderstanding on his part. Pork ribs looked like they came from a baby pig and barely had any meat on them. The burger wasn't very good either.

The brewery has made many different beers and the brewer is developing new beer styles. so far the craft beer is relative mild but getting bolder and bolder. The brewery is in the basement. They have lots of sausages and grilled food, excellent with the beers.

Nice place. Good music. Lots of smoke. As a non smoker I did not like the ventilation. Very few tables to sit and at many tables one or two guys sitting, so you cannot join them. Photos with flash are not allowed so all photos are so cooooool! :) The menu is very nice and interesting. However ask the bartender if the cocktail is delivered in large glass or a shot glass, because some are delivered in 3, 6 shots. Drinks are tasty and prices are much much better than in many places. On average a cocktail is 7-10 azn (4-6$)
