Nestled on the cliffs of Anacapri, overlooking the electric waters of the Blue Grotto, Restaurant Il Riccio is a renowned destination for seafood lovers. Accessible by a stone staircase leading down to the water, this high-end restaurant at Hotel Capri Palace offers refined Mediterranean dishes and a carefully curated selection of local beverages.
Beautiful place with a fantastic view, exceptional service and delicious food. The rooftop where we waited for our table to be ready is very sophisticated, decorated with Christian Dior items, you can take beautiful pictures there. My favorite part was the “temptation” a room full of delicious desserts. A truly extraordinary experience! A little pricey but you are in Capri and everything it’s pricey!

We had lunch there. The food was good but flat in flavor in my opinion. I’ve been to dozens of Michelin star restaurants in Europe and the USA and elsewhere. Atmosphere was incredible and the views were spectacular.
Patrick M — Google review
We went to Capri for our little honey moon and it was simply magic. Il Riccio Restaurant was simply amazing. It was our first time. Great location. Sea view. Unforgettable. Food was great and staff very kind and polite. Top class!!!
Alessio C — Google review
The restaurant opened at7:30, but due to the bad weather we didn’t get to enjoy the view at all. The food can be extremely bad and good, for example the appetizer lobster taste so good, that even made the main dishes taste awful. The uni pasta is too fishy, and the octopus is way too overcooked that my friend couldn’t eat it.
Weiyang Y — Google review
A Meal to Remember for a Lifetime This was one of those rare dining experiences where everything came together—fresh ingredients, perfect execution, stunning scenery, and a touch of magic. The grilled sea bass was exquisite: perfectly cooked, flaky, and delicately seasoned. The sides — golden roasted potatoes, warm vegetable medley, crisp salad with olives, and sweet tomatoes with basil — were vibrant and full of flavor. The clams, in their delicate broth, added a wonderful coastal touch, paired perfectly with fresh bread. A chilled glass of crisp white wine elevated every bite, perfectly complementing the fresh seafood and sun-kissed flavors of the Mediterranean. Fun, upbeat music set a lively tone, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Sipping wine and cocktails by the sea, with a seagull gliding over the horizon, felt like a perfect summer day frozen in time. Elegant, authentic, and unforgettable — a true Mediterranean gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dining at Il Riccio in Capri is not simply a meal, it is a complete experience that begins long before you sit down at the table. The journey itself is unique: being picked up directly by boat and arriving at the restaurant sets the tone for something truly special. It already feels like you are entering a hidden paradise, where elegance and authenticity blend seamlessly. The setting is breathtaking, perched above the crystal waters of Capri, with views that make you pause and appreciate the beauty of the island. Yet, what impressed me most was not only the scenery, but the way the entire team orchestrates the experience. The service is absolutely impeccable, attentive without ever being intrusive, professional yet warm, always making you feel like a valued guest. As for the cuisine, Il Riccio excels at offering food that is authentic, deeply connected to the traditions of Capri, yet executed with refinement. Every dish carries the freshness of the island and the soul of the sea. The flavors are pure, clean, and perfectly balanced. Nothing feels forced or overcomplicated, this is Italian cuisine at its highest expression, where ingredients are allowed to shine. One of the highlights is how consistent the kitchen is. From seafood to pasta, every plate I tasted reflected craftsmanship and respect for tradition. There is an honesty in the cooking that makes it memorable. Combined with the unique arrival, the atmosphere, and the flawless hospitality, Il Riccio delivers not just dinner, but a moment you will always carry with you. For anyone visiting Capri, this is more than a recommendation, it is an absolute must!!

Ristorante Il Riccio offers an exceptional dining experience that combines breathtaking views, a unique location, and delicious cuisine. Overlooking the sea, the restaurant provides a stunning setting, perfect for a memorable meal. The ambiance is serene and luxurious, making it ideal for special occasions or a relaxing lunch by the water. The food stands out with its fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, showcasing the best of Italian cuisine. Each dish is crafted with great attention to detail, from appetizers to desserts, ensuring a delightful culinary experience. The service is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who ensure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. Their professionalism and knowledge of the menu add to the overall enjoyment. With its prime location, stunning views, and outstanding food, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience by the sea.

A wonderful venue! We started with drinks upstairs in the lounge with cool tunes and stunning views. Staff ushered us to our table at the restaurant in time to get a fabulous table right by the ocean and the enormous view. If you love fresh seafood you will be blown away by the array of every type of fresh seafood on view for you to choose from. Everything about this experience was 5 star- as was the price, but it was well deserved . A must do in Capri!

Live music venue
The Taverna Anema e Core is a popular and classy night club in Capri. It is known for its live music performances and attracts celebrities and other well-known people to its dance floors. The club is open every night, and attracts a mixed crowd of locals and tourists.
The live Music was absolutely fantastic, full of energy and what a talent. Their energy was contagious. If you are in Capri and you want to have a night of fun, dancing and great live music you really should visit this place. Can’t wait to come back next time when I’m in Capri. 🌟
Melissa H — Google review
Fun time if you’re willing to spend $$$, but do your research before. We made the mistake of not researching enough and were slapped with a bill for €60/drink…and all we ordered was aperol spritz.
Courtney B — Google review
We had to pay 80 euro entrance and when we got in the vibe was good and the band was doing their thing, what they don’t tell you is that to dance on the dancefloor infront of the stage you have to pay an extra 300 euro otherwise you just stand behind a fence guarded by the guards to look at the people who paid dancing, so it’s more of a theater vibe looking at the party if your not willing to spend 380 euro per person…. Such a scam honestly, shame on these people running it!
Yehya A — Google review
For the price paid, the expectations were too high. In reality, the only goal there was to take everything from your pockets. The place was over, overcrowded to 3 times its capacity. I'm not talking about the prices that are generally unreasonable in Capri, unjustifiable, 5-star prices in a no-star environment, and with arrogant service. Maybe it's not their fault and these comments don't matter because the chances of the clientele returning are very small. So if you are thinking and have an extra 500-1000 euros in your pocket, go see a concert of your favorite band, wherever and whoever it may be.
Liridon P — Google review
To be completely honest, the prices here are extremely, extremely high. We each had two cocktails, and the total bill came to €240 — that’s about €40 per drink. Normally, I’d never say this, but in this case: it was worth it. If you’ve read any of my other reviews from Capri, you’ll know that we, unfortunately, had mostly bad experiences everywhere else. I even hesitated to leave reviews at all, because I felt strange writing almost only negative ones. But the truth matters — people deserve to know what to really expect. That said, this place completely changed the tone of our trip. Despite the price, if you can afford it — go. Honestly, just go. The concept is unique, the energy unforgettable. And while the fact that so many celebrities have visited is fun to know, that’s actually the least important thing about it. We didn’t go because of that — in fact, it was simply one of the few places still open that night. But it ended up being the highlight of our weekend. From the moment we walked in, people were already dancing and singing, and the place had only been open for about half an hour. I’ve never seen anything like it — such a lively, joyful atmosphere right from the start. The live band was incredible — they played a mix of English songs and traditional Neapolitan music. Normally I’m not a big fan of music in languages I don’t understand, but you could feel the emotion in every word, even without knowing what was being said. The musicians were so talented and genuine. The staff were amazing, and even the other guests were warm, friendly, and kind — something we sadly didn’t experience much elsewhere in Capri. After a weekend full of disappointments, these few hours completely made up for it all. I have nothing bad to say — not even about the price. Because this night was truly memorable. If you’re in Capri — go to Anema e Core. It’s not just a place; it’s an experience. ❤️ 1 note though - we went end of season (October) on a Sunday evening
Jennifer — Google review
You know the scammers in Rome outside of the Coliseum?- this is Capri’s version you need to avoid as a tourist! In Capri for summer vacation, stopped here because it’s the ONLY club in capri, told us it’s $80 euro per entry+a you're required to buy a “drink” ($50-60 basic shot or cocktail), also an extra $300 euro to dance on the “dance floor” with your $60 aperol spritz. If you are a geriatric billionaire on vacation with $500 spare change for an hour of weird vibes and overpriced drinks this is the place for you! If you are under 40 and want to drink and listen to music for less than you spent on a hotel for a night per person, you are out of luck (what is annoying is that this seems predatory based on supply & demand, there are literally no other “night-clubs” in Capri, literally a single other basic club with slightly expensive pricing on this island would probably kill.) We got pretty terrible hospitality at many places here anyways but since most people are coming here to relax and enjoy nights out- it’s best to plan around the fact that night life is pretty non existent here & bonus if you are American and also not White, you will get the same level of hospitality as your local 7 eleven (probably worse). If I could rate this 0/5 stars I would!
Abril R — Google review
Welcome to Capri’s most expensive zoo — except you’re the exhibit. We thought we were buying into a fun night out for €80, but little did we know the real show was watching rich people dance while the rest of us stood behind a barrier like unpaid extras in a bad music video. Want to actually dance? That’ll be another €300 please — because apparently moving your legs in front of a stage counts as a luxury upgrade in Capri. Otherwise, you just stand there like you’re at some sort of nightclub safari, observing the VIPs in their natural habitat while security guards glare at you for even thinking about stepping forward. So unless your dream night out involves paying to be treated like a second-class citizen at a fake concert you’re not allowed to join, save your money and grab a bottle of limoncello instead. Way more fun, and no fences involved. Shameful, hilarious, and honestly deserves a Netflix documentary called Clubbing: The Scam Edition. On a serious note. Disgusting place.

The Faraglioni, a group of three majestic rock formations off the coast of Capri, offers a stunning and unique view for visitors. Boats pass through an arch formed by these iconic oceanic rocks, providing an unforgettable experience. The nearby botanic Gardens of Augustus offer breathtaking panoramic views that include the Faraglioni Islands emerging from the sea. From this vantage point, visitors can also access the Via Krupp, a historic twisted street leading to Marina Piccola.
This is truly the best of Amalfi Coast. A one hour island tour of Capri is just so mesmerising that you'd like to go back here again & again. Views of the coastline and the grottos are just great and the blue mediterranean water does the magic! Don't miss it for anything.

Seeing the Faraglioni by boat was one of the best parts of visiting Capri. Sailing past these natural rock formations is breathtaking. The views, the sea breeze, it all adds to a perfect day.

Coming here was a dream come true. I am from a small island from the Caribbean and it amazes me how lucky we are to have so many beautiful places in the world to discover and to enjoy.

Took a half day boat trip, during the trip we saw these as well as many other amazing sites from the water around Capri. Highly recommend doing something similar, also we packed a picnic lunch for our half day trip and it was a great way to spend the morning.

Sze T — Google review
you can visit it by boat, and pass through the arch, or just go to one panoramic point.
Anelisa C — Google review
Get a private boat tour with the local skipper-those guys are knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and very good guides if you want to explore areas around the island.
Jana — Google review
We saw this rock formation as part of our day trip by boat from Nerano. This tour depart Nerano to Capri where you spend 5 hours on Capri and before you depart, the boat goes around the island and through the archway made by this rock formation. The tour encouraged couples to kiss as we passed through the archway as it gives the couple a good luck wish. They teased it would lead to pregnancy. It's certainly a nice stop as part of a tour.

Italian restaurant
L'Olivo, situated in the luxurious Capri Palace Hotel, stands out as the only two-Michelin-starred restaurant on the island of Capri. Executive Chef Andrea Migliaccio curates a sophisticated dining experience that pays homage to the island's culinary heritage. The menu showcases exquisite dishes such as blue lobster ravioli and beef fillet with black truffle, each meticulously prepared with top-quality ingredients and presented with artistic flair.
Dining at L’Olivo at Anacapri was nothing short of an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment we stepped into the elegant surroundings of this Michelin-starred restaurant, we were enveloped by a sense of refined luxury and genuine warmth that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern sophistication and island charm, providing a tranquil backdrop to what would become a memorable gastronomic journey. The experience began with a warm welcome from the staff, who immediately made us feel at home. As we were seated, we were introduced to our server, who provided a detailed explanation of the menu. Chef Migliaccio’s passion for his craft is palpable in every dish. His commitment to sourcing the finest local ingredients and transforming them into culinary masterpieces is evident in each bite. Each course was meticulously crafted, with flavors that were both complex and harmonious. The dishes were not just food but a work of art, each beautifully presented and with a story that spoke to the region’s rich culinary heritage. The standout dish was undoubtedly the blue lobster, paired with a delicate citrus emulsion that highlighted the freshness of the sea. Every course was a delightful surprise, showcasing Chef Migliaccio’s creative genius and deep respect for traditional Italian cuisine. The evening was further enhanced by the expertise of Vincenzo Riccio, the sommelier. His knowledge of wine is nothing short of extraordinary, and his ability to pair each course with the perfect wine was truly impressive. Vincenzo guided us through the wine list, which featured a stunning selection of both local and international wines. His recommendations were spot on, each glass perfectly complementing the flavors of the dishes without overpowering them. The service throughout the evening was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and always delivered with a smile. The team at L’Olivo ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless, from the timing of each course to the seamless wine service. In conclusion, dining at L’Olivo is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that engages all the senses. Chef Andrea Migliaccio’s culinary artistry, combined with the expert wine pairings by Vincenzo Riccio, made for an unforgettable evening. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to indulge in some of the finest cuisine Capri has to offer, L’Olivo is a must-visit destination. We left the restaurant not just satisfied but truly inspired by the incredible craftsmanship and passion that goes into every detail.
Borislav — Google review
Dining at L’Olivo was far more than just a meal—it was a refined, elegant experience from start to finish. The service was, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever encountered. Every tiny detail was anticipated before we even had to ask, handled with warmth, grace, and precision. The setting is equally unforgettable—gorgeous views that elevate an already incredible culinary journey. Each course was beautifully presented and flawlessly executed, a true reflection of the restaurant’s 2 Michelin stars. If you’re visiting Capri, this is not just a recommendation—it’s a must. L’Olivo sets the gold standard for fine dining.
Eric R — Google review
This is a 2 star Michelin restaurant and unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. The service was between good and average depending on who was serving. I chose from the a la carte menu: I had a tomatoe soup for entree - €75 Essentially tasted like blended tomatoes 🙄 I had the black cod for main which was nice - €90. But, unfortunately, I’ve had better elsewhere. My wife was unwell due to some food poisoning the day before so she asked for somwthing very simple. They served her chicken with brocoli and potatoes. The chicken wasn't seasoned, my 8 year old could make something more interesting. The potatoes saturated in butter. Fair enough this wasn't part of their menu but we felt like it was thrown together without any care or consideration. Finally, the seating is a little interesting. Half the restaurant is table and chairs as you might expect. The other half is sofas and armchairs which is quirky but impractical. The sofa is also a 2 seater sofa that could potentially be shared with the next table, and with not a lot of space inbetween. Overall, not overly impressed and wouldn't ever go back.

This is a 2 Michilin star restaurant. We did not try the set menu and we chose from menu. The pasta with lemon is outstanding and highly recommended. The rest of the food is above average but nothing like the pasta with lemon. It was nice that they brought a cake for us as we are celebrating our anniversary. The service and ambience is outstanding. It’s worth it if like Michilin star restaurants.

We had a wonderful dinner here! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was good. However, we are well aware of places that are known for their exclusivity and fame, but coming from a Swiss Chef and a Pastry Chef’s perspective, and having visited other Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, we felt the prices were unfortunately too high for the components and portions of the dishes we received. The pricing felt like a shot in the dark, which caught us off guard in a very unexpected way.
Albert Z — Google review
One of the best dining experiences my husband and I have had not only on Capri, but in all of Italy. The live music was an amazing touch, the ambiance of the restaurant and view was perfect, not to mention the obvious: the food. The food was absolutely incredible. We had the tasting menu. The flavors in each dish were well balanced. They accommodated no problem for my being a pescatarian. The portions and spacing of dishes perfect as well ( my husband and I have found sometimes at michelin restaurants we leave a little hungry or the meal was too long- this was not the case here). They even surprised us with an extra dessert as we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. The staff was kind and welcoming. Also I now think every restaurant should have a water menu. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, I would travel back to Capri just to eat here again.
Christine B — Google review
Two star Michelin and well deserved. The food and service were fantastic. We tried the tasting menu and the signature dish was the best thing on it as you’d imagine. Pasta with lemon ricotta and raw shrimps! Everything else was outstanding … it truly was a journey from start to finish.
Hamed A — Google review
Absolutely incredible! One of the best dining experience of my life. We visited on our honeymoon a couple weeks ago and were so impressed. We had high expectations for this two Michelin star establishment and they absolutely blew us away with the quality of food, the staff's hospitality, the delightful ambiance, and their old fashioneds (a must try). The linguine with shrimp was our favorite dish, it literally melts in your mouth, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything. What really made the experience is the restaurant manager Giuseppe went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and had our fill of food and wine, even brining out a delicious cake after overhearing we were on honeymoon. Can't recommend this place enough and look forward to visiting again next time we're in Capri.

Capri Rooftop, located at Hotel Luna next to the Gardens of Augustus, offers a relaxing experience with stunning views. The signature cocktails are inspired by the flavors and scents of Capri, such as the Luna Caprese and Roof Mojito. The menu also includes classic cocktails, non-alcoholic fruit-based drinks, premium liquors, and a selection of sparkling wines. The terrace provides an unforgettable view of the Faraglioni and Marina Piccola bay at sunset.
Yes it hurts the wallet a little but the view, service and food are outstanding. The lobster pasta is my new death row meal. We came back 3 nights in a row it was that good. Live a little and enjoy the view.

The views from here are absolutely stunning! The cocktails were excellent (which was rare to find), and the food was pretty good. The prices were extremely high, even for the island of Capri. However, the atmosphere is well worth, and the service was impeccable. There is even a beautiful garden nearby that you can pay to enter, which was incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend checking it out

La Fontelina is a stylish beach club restaurant with stunning sea views and a charming thatched-roof pergola, specializing in delectable seafood dishes. Situated right at the water's edge, it offers an array of fresh vegetable creations alongside its seafood offerings. As a lido, it provides easy access to the deep blue waters for a relaxing swim.
La Fontelina is such a unique and relaxing spot in Capri — definitely worth the visit! You can get there by boat or walk about 0.4 miles down a steep path and concrete stairs (be prepared for the climb back up!). The restaurant had great food and friendly service — make sure to book a reservation in advance. At the beach club, service is a bit more laid-back; you’ll need to flag someone down for drinks, which seems pretty typical in Italy, though a bit frustrating at times. That said, the staff was accommodating and the setting is absolutely stunning. A true Capri experience!

The food is delicious and comes in generous portions, every dish feels fresh and carefully prepared with high-quality ingredients. 🐟🦀🥬 While the prices are on the higher side. A perfect spot for a special meal with an incredible view. 🌅🚤

Do not come to this beach club. Complete scam. Waited an hour for the water taxi to the beach club. Tried to call to see if they were coming or not and it was busy every single time we called. Once we finally got there, we were told we have to pay €10 a person for the boat we just waited an hour for. When we saw the spot we were assigned, there were not even enough chairs for us. Just thin towels. We had a reservation for 5 people and there were 2 chairs. You do not get to choose where you sit and they do not let you switch spots. I have also attached a picture of the view from our section. We paid thousands of dollars for this beach club and it was the worst beach club experience we had in Italy. The minimum spend here is €190 per person. More if you even want an umbrella. Have never been more disappointed.

From the minute you get a reservation, the excitement begins You are asked to make your way to small marina to catch the dedicated boat taxi to the restaurant €9 pp, lovely ride and worth it When you arrive you walk past the private beach, and secured to the restaurant The trick is get a table on the edge with a view which can be tricky The service was good, the fish tartare, shell fish pasta and the mixed seafood dishes were scrumptious! Views also to die for

My experience at La Fontelina was absolutely unforgettable 🌊🤍. The view of Capri’s deep blue sea is breathtaking, the atmosphere is dreamy, and the service is top-notch. Truly one of the most beautiful beach clubs on the island ✨

Such a wonderful experience. From the vibe, the staff, the water, the food and the drinks our mixed group of singles, couples and kids had the best time. We will be back. Everyone agreed our best meal after four days was at Fontelina. The seafood the pasta the dolce. Exquisite. Our waiter “Rustik””(I butchered that sorry) elevated our meal with his attentiveness, kindness and humor. The mixologist master Vincenzo made incredible cocktails with endearing humility, precision and authenticity (thank you). Everyone was great, but there is one stocky gentlemen whose name escapes me, but he was hustling from umbrella to chair to umbrella taking care of everyone. I hope he sees this because my group really appreciated the valiant effort; grazie. Great time and we all plan to come back. That local snapper will be in my dreams 😃. Ce vediamo.

This was such a cool place to have lunch and hang out. The food was delicious and you can’t beat the amazing views! The only complaint was I was hoping for a little more background music, as it seemed quite for a beach club. Either way this was an amazing experience and I would recommend coming.
Matthew R — Google review
We walked down to this beach club from the Hotel Punta Tragara and it was a beautiful scenic view on the way down, but quite the task getting back up. I would suggest taking a boat taxi or making sure you have really comfortable shoes for the return trip. Once we were there, it was a beautiful view with the iconic blue and white umbrellas. However, they seated us on an uneven area near a little cliff overlooking the water, and it was hard to get our chairs to balance there. I didn’t feel like the service was very good at our seats for drinks. They were very busy. We ate lunch at the restaurant and had some of the best Caprese raviolis I’ve ever had, but I was underwhelmed by the whole experience there. For me it wasn’t worth the hype.

Giardini di Augusto, also known as the Gardens of Augustus, is a picturesque botanical garden located in Capri. The garden offers sweeping views of the sea and the village of Marina Piccola below. It features a footpath that leads to the village and provides a classic view of the Faraglioni rock formations.
No queue to entry, tickets can be purchased at a vending machine right outside (no cash accepted). The only wait i had to do is to take pictures at the watch points. The garden is not so big, but the view is breathtaking. 😄 Right next to the garden you will find the roof top bar which has excellent cocktails next to the same mesmerising view.
Hilda P — Google review
The gardens of Augustus is a beautiful mountaintop garden which has a few statues and benches but it's main selling point is the view at the top. If you are on a tour and don't have much time I would recommend, as it's easy enough to get to and is a stunning "Instagram worthy" spot. Of course you have to pay to get in which you can do via a QR code or buying tickets. You can pay in your own currency on the app, which I thought was cool. I think £4 for a tiny garden with a view is milking it though, I think it should be done on a donation basis. You'll have people everywhere posing at every which angle so find a few good spots, take some snaps and get out of there!
JB R — Google review
€2.50 per person for entry and not sure its worth it. It is essentially 10m2 of grass with some flowers, several view points towards the faraglioni and a couple more on the other side towards the Via Krupp. Some good views of the faraglioni rocks but lots of people in the way taking photos of course. The views are just as good at the roof terrace next door and you can have a drink whilst enjoying the view! Win win
B M — Google review
Beautiful views and definitely worth a visit to get some memorable pictures. Lots of places to sit and relax but you’re not allowed to eat there. Entry was €2.5 and definitely worth the views.
Tina S — Google review
Nice and well maintained gardens. Entrance fee of €2,50 a person. Plenty of scenic viewpoints. Make sure to arrive as early as possible to prevent having to navigate the tourist groups that start arriving as early as of 09:30. They open at 09:00, and since it’s a small garden between 09:00 and 09:30 is a very nice window to see it all in all tranquility.(excluding the via Krupp)
Evan — Google review
Small garden, big views! The Garden of Augustus is a little paradise — colorful flowers, sea breeze, and one of the most iconic views in Capri. Don’t miss it. Ps: you would need to bus a ticket to get into the garden(No cash, card only)
Chris F — Google review
After our ferry ride, we made our way to the Garden of Augustus. The views were truly magnificent, and the serene atmosphere made for a perfect escape. The vibrant colors of the flowers against the deep blue of the sea were a sight to behold. However, the experience was slightly marred by the cost of entry. It felt like a bit of a rip-off to pay €2.50 per person for such a small area. What was even more frustrating was the price of water. Having to shell out €2.50 for a tiny 300ml bottle felt like pure exploitation, especially on a hot day. It's a shame that a place of such natural beauty has to resort to such practices to squeeze every penny out of its visitors.
Pavan N — Google review
Lovely little garden in an amazing location. The statues and plants are very nice, and the grounds are very well maintained. The really impressive aspect is the surrounding architecture, particularly the switchback ramp leading all 100+ meters down to the sea.

Lo Smeraldo is a renowned restaurant located in Capri, Italy, just a short distance from the island's main square. Housed in a charming historic building with an elegant outdoor terrace, the restaurant offers a classic Mediterranean ambiance and picturesque views of the bustling street below. As a family-owned establishment, it boasts an amazing vista of Marina Grande's coastline and provides an ideal setting for savoring fresh seafood paired with white wine.
We were here in April 2025 and the vibe was soo chill and relaxing! We even enjoyed the sunbeds before they found us a table and came without reservation! But we had a super nice surprise with the food! Everything amazing! I recommend the fish if the day in the oven with white sauce and olives!

Amazing view, cool staff and a delightful owner. She told us she and her husband runs the place. It was a little pricy and perhaps misleading with regards to the food prices and what we're paying for, but it was a great experience.
George F — Google review
This is my third time here, i come here everytime Im in Capri. Despite all the comments about tourist traps, i found the service to be very accommodating, the food is terrific and the view is absolutely one of the best in Capri. Well the price is not cheap, however i dont think there will be places that you can get cheaper food for this same kind of food+view+atmosphere. So totally recommend, and will definitely come again!

Incredibly good but incredibly expensive. If you know that you are in the frontline of Capri and they come to pick you up on the boat, you will enjoy the meal here. Otherwise, don't go 👍🏻👍🏻

I have seen both a flyer and a Facebook post saying they had "giropizza". I went there and kindly asked if that was available. People were rude and said: giropizza, of course not! And stared at me like it was something impossible. I said I saw it online and they did not want to hear. Very rude staff! So, adding photos here as well. In the end, I did not even buy a pizza and did not eat there.
Analu M — Google review
Went there after the guide recommended us the restaurant. My spouse wanted the fish of the day and me an other pasta dish. The server told us that he would do something with the fish of the day for two and that it would cut the price. TOTAL LIE. We got serve a bellow average pasta dish (way under cook, and I like my pasta aldente) and got a bill three time the price of the original pasta dish that i wanted. They will robe you.
Louis-David L — Google review
The view first is the best, by the sea directly as you can see from the photos. We wanted fresh sea food and we were able to choose directly from the fresh sea fishes selection. Tony and Roberto explained the different options and how to cook each one. Their service was perfect very friendly and helpful. They even set us a table in a perfect location. Highly recommended. They price might be too much but to be honest the food was worth it.

The Church San Michele, located in the heart of Anacapri at the foot of Mount Solaro, is a historic structure with ties to a convent. The church features an ornate 1700s floor adorned with colorful maiolica tiles. The surrounding area includes a lovely internal courtyard and a loggia that once connected the church to the convent.
Most magical moving experience visiting this magnificent piece of history. It took my breath away. I was fortunate to be in the Church alone and was delighted to learn about the history of the Church and Saint Michele. It is a very special institution and the lady at the reception is lovely. She was very informative and from what I understand Saint Michele killed the devil. The floors actually took 30 years to complete and the Church is from the 17th Century. Please don’t miss this. 2e entrance.

For 2 euro you can see something so unique and beautiful it actually feels like a daylight robbery. It's a small church, however the painting on the tiles on the floor which covers the whole church is amazing. You can see it in detail from the ground level and also go up to see the whole picture. There was also a cute small bird nest next to the window on the upper floor. I definitely recommend seeing it in Anacapri.

Located on Capri's famous piazzetta, il Piccolo is the oldest bar in town and a popular choice for pre-dinner aperitifs and people-watching. It offers a central location, good coffee, and friendly staff. The pastries are decent, and they also serve high-quality drinks. Whether you choose to sit down or take away, be prepared for slightly higher prices typical of the area.
Had the gnocchi Sorrento dish and it was lovely! So tasty. Staff was friendly kind and helpful. We loved the food and the Irish Coffee was good. Lemoncello spritz was perfect. We will be back!

As an Italian I was ashamed to fall for this trap. I would encourage the consumers association to look into them for fraudulent behavior. The owners pushed for us to sit instead of having our breakfast at the till. Instead of charging a cover charge (as it is customary in Italy) they presented me with a bill where all items were 5 times more than what they should have been. This is obviously dishonest and it is the kind of behavior tagged drives visitors away. Despite loving this island I will personally not set foot in Capri anymore and make sure to spread the word.
Stefano L — Google review
Il Piccolo is a café situated in the main piazza at the center of Capri. It’s one of the first places you see where you can sit once you reach the top—making it the perfect setup for a tourist trap. Yes, the croissants were delicious, the espresso hit the spot, and the cappuccino was the perfect start to the morning. But they are clearly price gouging their customers—charging 10 euros for an espresso and another 10 euros for a cappuccino. Just a short walk down one of the nearby streets, you can find charming little cafés serving the same drinks for 3–4 euros. My wife, son and I had a cappuccino, double espresso, a couple croissants and a warm glass of milk that cost 55 euros. While prices in Capri are generally high, this felt excessive. Do yourself a favor and skip the main square. Wander down one of the quaint, narrow alleyways instead, find a small café, lean against the bar, and enjoy your coffee and homemade pastries for a fraction of the cost—and a much more authentic experience.
Spencer D — Google review
Just because we had no time ti choise the place and but go far away from the city centre where we expected lower prices we were shocked of the choice but no doubt. Soft drinks for 10€??? Coffee for 8-9€??? Pizza is for a similar price and it was really delicious. At least one good point 👌

I’m incredibly disappointed by how I was treated at Il Piccolo. I came in, ordered drinks, and sat down to feed my baby—something any parent would naturally need to do. I had brought a small container of food for my child, who is still a baby, and without warning, I was approached by an older man who rudely told me I was being disrespectful for feeding him. He went as far as to say I was “not educated” and claimed he had “never seen anyone do this”—as if caring for your child in a café was somehow outrageous. Instead of offering understanding or kindness, I was made to feel unwelcome and embarrassed. As someone who had already ordered from the café, this treatment was completely unacceptable. No one should be spoken to that way—especially not a parent simply trying to feed their child. I won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values basic decency or hospitality.

Spiaggia di Marina Piccola is a stunning coastal area on Capri, known for its beautiful beach and breathtaking views of the Faraglioni di Capri sea stacks. This small pebble and sand beach is nestled between impressive rock formations, offering crystal clear turquoise waters for swimming. The bay benefits from a southern exposure and protection from Mount Solaro, providing warm and calm conditions year-round.
The beach may be small, but the stunning view and crystal-clear water more than make up for its size. I had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery. The beach is free to access, but keep in mind that you'll need to bring your own chairs or towels to sit comfortably. It's a peaceful spot to relax and take in the beauty of nature, though a bit of preparation is needed to fully enjoy the experience. Perfect for a quiet day out!

Great with kids. There is a public beach but also a private part where you can rent a beach bed (2 for 80 euros). Come early because they are quickly booked.
Daniel G — Google review
Tiny pebble beach in a beautiful location. To get to the water, you have to carefully walk between all the towels and personal possesions, it's very crowded. For that reason, I sat at a table with the best view in a nearby restaurant while my grandson enjoyed jumping from the rocks and swimming in the warm crystal clear water.

Marina Piccola is a smaller beach oasis on Capri, where you can enjoy the sea without the crowds from Marina Grande. The beach is nice, the water crystal clear, and if you’re lucky, you might spot some local fishermen lazily drifting on their boats. It kinda feels like a secret hideout where even Leonardo DiCaprio might take a break from filming. The only catch? Parking and access – it’s Capri, so patience is key. :)
Michael N — Google review
I didn't like the free beach. The photos were misleading and I thought there would be more space. The beach bar next to it charged 150 euro per bed and it was empty pretty much. We took a dip in the water and we went back to town center for lunch by the bus.

The VV Club Capri was a lively and exciting night club on the weekend. It had a great atmosphere with great music, and it had a big discount for large groups.
Really good music. €30 Cover. 1 Complimentary Drink. Gets thick about 1am (Friday) Attended with the other people and we arrived around 11 ish and the club was fairly empty, but this gave us time to socialize among ourselves and maneuver where we wanted fairly easily. There was no one one the dance floor, but we didn’t let that stop us from having a good time. We got out there and slowly folks started to come dance with us and eventually the floor was somewhat dense around midnight. We’re still jamming and next thing you know the floor is full of people and it’s almost too thick to even walk through. Overall the environment felt safe and was fun, the music was good, the place was clean for a club that became high density, the bartenders were cool and the drinks were alright. Not sure you could justify €20 for one drink for me but you pay for the name, ambiance, and they have to make money too, so sure. Either way, we had a great time and definitely added to the atmosphere.

Review of La Palette, Capri We visited La Palette with a large group and enjoyed our experience overall. The food was good; we had chicken, eggplant, and finished with tiramisu for dessert. Service was ample, though not the quickest, likely due to our group size. The location is on a hilltop, so be prepared for a bit of a walk up. The setting is worth it, though, as the views are stunning and the cool breeze adds to the charm. It’s a great spot for a leisurely meal with a beautiful panorama of Capri.

Bar Tiberio is a popular spot located in the heart of Capri on the Piazzetta, making it a prime location for people-watching and soaking up the lively atmosphere. Established in 1937, this iconic bar offers a perfect setting to enjoy drinks while observing the bustling piazza. Visitors can savor delicious coffee and drinks while taking in the vibrant scene.
We enjoyed a bottle of wine while our son had a pizza, which was good. The experience is really about the atmosphere and location, which are well worth it. Service was excellent—attentive and friendly. The wine was, as expected, overpriced 45, but acceptable given the setting. They kept refilling the wine snacks—olives, chips, etc.—and handled the wine service nicely. The pizza was fine, nothing extraordinary, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Capri was one of our first stops from Naples during our cruise, and Bar Tiberio made it extra special. We arrived early in the morning after a short walk through the charming streets and decided to try their famous limoncello. It was absolutely delicious—smooth, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. They even served it with potato chips, which was a delightful touch. Though our visit was short, the atmosphere, friendly service, and wonderful drink made it a truly memorable stop in Capri.

If you like a €9 cola, this is your place! Just a tourist trap, like all of the other cafes on this piazza. Food is overpriced and underwhelming. Try and get a bit further away for more decent prices, although the best bet is likely not in Capri.
Quent B — Google review
This was our first stop in Capri, and unfortunately, it was a terrible start to our trip. I honestly didn’t know it was possible to have bad Italian food in Italy, but this wasn’t just bad — it was awful. We paid (if I remember correctly) €16 for a lasagna and €16 for a carbonara. The prices seemed fine at first, but the portions were shockingly small. The lasagna was maybe the size of an iPhone Max, and the carbonara was gone after about five bites. Not only were the portions tiny, but the food itself was extremely poor. The carbonara had no pancetta at all, and the sauce tasted chemical and strangely lemony. Maybe that’s some Capri twist (lemons everywhere, I get it), but if that’s the case, it should really be mentioned on the menu that this is not a traditional carbonara. My friend compared it to airplane food, and honestly, I agreed. As for my lasagna — well, let’s just say the lasagna I had on a flight once was better. A Coke was €9 and a bottle of water €7 — which, okay, maybe that’s Capri, but still… The service was mediocre, nothing particularly friendly or attentive. Overall, a huge disappointment and definitely not the kind of place that represents the amazing Italian cuisine we know and love.

Lovely Cafe in Piazza Umberto. Coffee and drinks were lovely. Light food options were tasty. Waiters were polite and helpful.
Michael P — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at Bar Triberio. I tried to order a pizza with tuna, but the waiter confused me with his explanation, and instead of a pizza he brought me a tuna sandwich. When I asked if I could return it and order the pizza instead, he refused and said I would still be charged if I wanted to change, without showing any understanding or willingness to help. On top of that, a simple Coke cost €9, which is outrageous. For the price and the lack of customer care, this place is definitely not worth it. I would not recommend it.
Ardiana A — Google review
WORST RESTAURANT EVER. The smallest portion of pasta I’ve ever eaten for 16€(!) They just make fun of people and give them food to try not to eat!! Also the food was awful. And one bottle of 500ml water 7€? Avoid at all cost.
Sofia K — Google review
Unbelievable. 7 euros for 500ml of still water. Yes it was written on the menu, but still. 9 euros for a plain coke. Food portions were unreasonably small and inadequate for their price. Haven't been played like this for quite some time. The definition of a Tourist trap, avoid whatsoever.

Nestled in the stunning Capri Tiberio Palace, Terrazza Tiberio offers an enchanting dining experience that combines breathtaking views of the island and sea with a chic, modern ambiance. The restaurant celebrates its Caprese and Mediterranean roots through a menu filled with seasonal ingredients and local recipes. Signature dishes like caprese ravioli and lemon-scented seabass escalope highlight the culinary artistry on display.
We had one of the best dining experiences in Italy at this restaurant. Our waiter, Marya, was beyond awesome. She took excellent care of us. The manager was there and also made sure we are enjoying our dinner. Plus, the chef sent us so many good plates. Food was real good delicious. The outdoor seating is quite with good view. My favorite restaurant in Capri.

Amazing food by the chef. One of the best meals in Capri. However, Menu is not updated on their website, so we were surprised by the menu when we arrived. Service was not up to standard, kept needing to remind them to bring us our drinks, cutlery and very slow service (I think they forgot to put in one of our orders which delayed things even more). Did not expect that from such a high-end restaurant. You may end up staying longer than you expect at the restaurant due to these issues! Maybe because they recently opened for the season and they were not used to customers being around, but there were only 4 tables and 10 people at the restaurant, So this shouldn’t have been that difficult. I think the staff need more training. Really hope they improve because the food is worth it.

Nestled in the stunning bay of Marina Grande on Capri, Le Ondine Beach Club is a serene retreat that captures the essence of Italian coastal charm. This delightful beach club features an inviting atmosphere with its signature white and light blue striped umbrellas, offering 200 sunbeds and deck chairs for guests to unwind. Whether you're eager to soak up the sun, take a refreshing dip in the sea, or savor delectable Mediterranean cuisine at its lounge bar and restaurant, Le Ondine promises an unforgettable experience.
We decided to choose this place because of its distance to the ferry station. We had the best attention from Gemma the owner, who made our stay incredible. The food has a supreme quality, the sea view is amazing, and the service impecable I would totally recommend it and if I return to capri it would be a obligatory stop for me . The cóctel was 10/10 Amazing experience

Typical capri prices but a good experience. The ambience is lovely. We only ate lunch so cannot speak to the beach facilities but they looked nice. My husband had a very good fish entree and I had ravioli. Both were excellent. Lots of stairs but worth the walk!

Great little place with private sun loungers and umbrellas where you can leave your stuff and be secure in it being ok while you go for a swim. Only reasons review isnt 5 star is, they won’t let you order Caprese signature dish, Caprese Ravioli to your sun lounger, even though you can order other pasta dishes to your lounger, so don’t know why you can’t order that specific one but you can’t. They say you have the sun lounger until 6pm, so you could go in at 10am and spend 8 hours here theoretically but realistically at 4:30pm they start dismantling the the ramp that goes into the ocean, so you’ll listen to really loud banging on metal with hammer for 30 mins, they take your umberella off you at 4:30pm, so while you have the sun lounger until 6, the umbrella is taken away earlier (the sun is starting to move behind cliffs so it’s not an issue just weird to leave to go to toilet and umberella gone with no notice) and he starts asking everyone to start paying there bill between 4:30pm - 5pm so while you can stay until 6, there actions make it seem like you better leave soon as we want you to go.

Lovely atmosphere. If you like nice prosecco and red wine looking over the sea this is the place. Very relaxed and nice staff. The glass portions are very generous.

I recently spent the day at this beach club and it was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, everything about the experience was flawless and truly deserving of five stars. The setting itself is breathtaking—a pristine stretch of coastline with crystal-clear waters and soft sand, paired with stylish lounge areas that create the perfect balance between relaxation and luxury. The sunbeds were extremely comfortable, with plenty of space between them for privacy, and the umbrellas provided just the right amount of shade. It never felt overcrowded, which made it easy to fully unwind. The service was impeccable. Staff members were attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a smile, quick to bring fresh drinks, and genuinely invested in making sure guests had the best possible time. The menu exceeded expectations too. From fresh seafood dishes to light salads and refreshing cocktails, everything we tried was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. It’s clear the beach club takes pride in both quality and detail. Another highlight was the music—upbeat yet relaxing during the day, transitioning into a livelier vibe in the afternoon as the sun began to set. The atmosphere naturally shifted into a more social, energetic scene while still maintaining its elegance. Overall, this beach club was the perfect combination of stunning location, outstanding service, and fantastic food. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water or enjoy a vibrant evening by the sea, it’s an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to return.

Nice beach club. We paid €60 for 2 sunbeds. Umbrella is another €10 but we didn't want one anyway. Staff are very polite and helpfull. They had a violin and singer but this was mainly in the resterant and couldn't really hear from sunbeds. Raised sunbed area is quieter with music by the beach sunbeds. Happy with our visit and prices were not bad compared to some other beach clubs. (€9 Beer - €7 soft drinks) Thankyou

Da Gioia by La Palma Beach Club is a unique blend of beach club and restaurant-bar, offering a picturesque view of Marina Piccola's turquoise waters. It's known for its fresh seafood dishes like octopus salad, mussels, and clams prepared to perfection. This secluded spot is considered Capri's most romantic beach, making it a favorite among couples seeking tranquility away from the crowds.
Highly recommend spending the day here! We came off our boat and loved not having to walk too far for a beach chair. The chairs were very nice and new with 2 high quality towels included. 75 euros total for two chairs wasn’t bad for high demand is/how conveniently located it was. The beach service was fantastic. Highly attentive servers with great customer service. The food at lunch was fantastic—we had the caprese ravioli and fried shrimp and squid, both of which were delicious. The drinks were well made! The waiter even offered to take our photo. I would definitely return!

This is a secluded and intimate island ideal for relaxation, enjoying good food, and listening to music. It offers gourmet seafood and drinks in a quiet, private setting. However, the island is quite small, so there isn’t much to explore if you’re planning to spend the entire day.

What I didn’t like when we first got in, we were told where to sit! which was away from the beach, but then we sat where we wanted. This happened many times while we were in italy if i’m paying for a sun bed and i came very early and there were many vacant places i should be seated in a place that pleases me However our waiter was Federico he took really good care of us and gave us many recommendations which were excellent We loved the food and the beach We paid each 150€ (75 sunbed and 75 food).

A great place to spend the day in Capri. Hidden on the South side of the island, a few stairs after reaching the bus station of Marina Picola, this place offers the option to have a great meal with a view to the sea and boats, and also have a swim in the ocean. Although prices are a bit expensive, and beach accommodation is quite expensive (75 pp) the place offers a unique capri experience.
Sergio L — Google review
The service here was great and so was the food, the only problem is they just charge a ridiculous amount of money for things. Like a Spritz is $26. I posted a picture of my receipt for reference, it was for a group of 10. I would eat a main dish here but I would save the drinking and appetizers for another location, just not worth the price (like $32 for a caprese)
Jacob L — Google review
There is an astonishing sea view on the limited terrain, from which you can access the beach. So, the high prices are expected. I got what I wanted: an umbrella and a changing room for my shy son for just 75 euros, which is affordable assuming the prerequisites. It is a little more than average for a little more comfort than the public area. We have no idea about food; our goal was to learn to swim.
Alex K — Google review
Could be the best beach club in Italy, such a great spot BUT, prices completely unjustified, 26 euros for a spritz seems insane when other local spots offer them for 18 same for the food, ended up spending 550 euros between 2 and did not feel like we ate or drunk a lot over the day. Still highly recommend but expect an expensive day.
Harry — Google review
Amazing spot with a stunning view right on the water. The fish was super fresh and cooked perfectly, the potatoes were crispy, and the salads were full of flavor. Great wine, relaxed atmosphere, and a fun DJ made it even better. A perfect Capri vibe — can’t wait to come back.

Hotel Caesar Augustus is an elegant villa hotel located in Anacapri, Italy. The hotel offers a fine-dining restaurant with stunning bay views, a luxurious spa, and an infinity pool. The history of the island is intertwined with the hotel's story, as it was once the dominion of Rome after Octavian Caesar interpreted a favorable sign upon landing in Capri.
We stayed at Caesar Augustus for two nights on our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. We wished we had stayed for more. While Capri was quite busy, staying in Anacapri at Caesar Augustus was quiet and amazing. Our room overlooked the sea, offering absolutely breathtaking views. The gym was outside, and though it was small, it had brand-new Technogym equipment. Antonella, who managed everything, was amazing and helped us coordinate a private dinner. The pool area was also fantastic, with great sun coverage, an infinity pool overlooking the water, and excellent poolside dining. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful, and our room, complete with a balcony, was perfect. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

Outstanding Honeymoon Experience at Hotel Caesar Augustus ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional in Every Way My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon at Hotel Caesar Augustus, and it exceeded every expectation. This hotel truly understands what makes a stay memorable - it's all about the people and the experience they create. Obviously stunning and breath-taking views everywhere but a few more things to share. Staff Excellence Across Every Department The entire team deserves recognition. From the moment we arrived, every interaction was exceptional: Concierge: Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with local recommendations Front desk: Professional, warm, and always available Housekeeping: Rooms were immaculate daily with thoughtful touches Transport & baggage: Seamless service that made arrival and departure effortless Pool & F&B staff: Attentive without being intrusive, always with genuine smiles What made the biggest impression was how the staff genuinely welcomed us getting to know their names and learning about their backgrounds. This personal connection meant the world to us and created such a warm, authentic experience. Unparalleled Setting & Ambiance The hotel's location is simply breathtaking. It's a tranquil oasis perfect for couples seeking romance and relaxation. The sunsets from the hotel's bar and restaurants are beyond incredible - truly some of the most spectacular views we've ever experienced. The pool area is stunning, and the gardens below create a serene atmosphere. We loved how the hotel maintains its peaceful ambiance with gentle reminders to respect the tranquility - it really enhances the experience for everyone. Dining Recommendations The hotel's dining is excellent, but we highly recommend asking the staff for authentic restaurant recommendations in Anacapri for at least one evening. Their local knowledge led us to some truly special meals that we'll never forget. Final Thoughts Hotel Caesar Augustus is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience. The combination of exceptional staff, breathtaking location, and attention to detail creates something truly special. Respect the peaceful atmosphere, connect with the wonderful team, and you'll have an unforgettable time. We can't wait to return!

My favorite hotel in Capri, probably one of the best views on the island. The service and location are excellent. The rooms are a bit dated, as the hotel itself is older, but I believe renovations are planned soon. My only wish is that they offered a shuttle service between Capri and Anacapri, as the hotel is located in Anacapri. That said, they were extremely helpful with our departure: during check-in and check-out, they provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the port, load all your luggage onto the ferry, and even assist with tickets. This was a huge help, as managing luggage on the ferry can be a challenge.

This place is GORGEOUS!!! We didn’t stay here, but came for dinner and drinks and you can tell it is super clean and well cared for. The staff was amazing to us and we felt very welcomed. The location is great for views but not ideal for walking to and from the main city of Capri. If view is your priority, this place is probably it!

Perfectly magical experience! From the moment we arrived on property the staff was welcoming and attentive to every detail to make our stay a lifelong memory. The hotel and grounds are exceptionally maintained. We had breakfast and dinner at the Caeser Augustus every day. There was no need to search for other dining on Capri because we knew anywhere else would be disappointing. An experience of exceptional elegance and quality.

The shuttles were always clean and made it easy to get around, with the perfect distance to all the top restaurants. Highly recommend!

This hotel is the absolute best hotel we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home. The room was amazing, the food was great, the view was incredible, and most importantly the staff were all so professional, polite and kind. Our story was abit exceptional because we left our camera on the boat to Capri. The moment we reported to the hotel, the front office manager Laura responded so quickly and efficiently and within a few minutes was able to contact the boat captain and found the camera. We are truly grateful and thankful to the team of Hotel Caesar Augustus for making our stay a most perfect one. Thank you Francesco the friendly hotel driver who drove us to and from the hotel, Mr David at the Conceirge who helped us with a last minute restaurant booking, the kind and helpful doorman, front desk crew and all the people at the breakfast restaurant. Nestled on a stunning clifftop, Luna Hotel Capri has transformed from a charming pensione into an elegant boutique retreat. This delightful hotel offers guests a serene escape just five minutes from the bustling Piazzetta. With its modern interiors adorned with white hues and vibrant tiled floors, Luna Hotel captivates visitors not only with its aesthetic but also with its lush gardens and expansive outdoor pool that provide breathtaking views of the iconic Faraglioni rocks.
I just went on honeymoon to Capri and we loved Hotel Luna! The location has an amazing view of the Faraglioni, especially with the deluxe rooms, and it was nice to be tucked away just a short walk from town. The rooms were nice and had stylish tiling. I highly recommend staying here, and a room service breakfast with a view of the sea is impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely the best. Luna Hotel made our trip to Capri 10000x better. Luna offers a bag service which is £20/bag to take your baggage from the ferry to the hotel without any worry. We arrived in Capri before check-in and this allowed us to explore Capri without dragging our bags across the hilly landscape and rough roads. Additionally, the same service is available when you need to leave, leaving you the freedom to explore without worrying about your baggage. My wife and I stayed in the standard room and it was furnished far beyond our expectations. Everything was very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to eat, look no further than the Luna Rooftop Restaurant. We had some of the best seafood and service, and a view of the sea to top it off. While at dinner, the room keeping made our bedroom up! Lastly, you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast with the same great service as dinner. The breakfast includes fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, yogurt, granola, pastries, charcuterie meats and cheeses, breakfast meats, and more. Don't worry, you can also order an espresso beverage or two as well (cappuccino is a must-have). The front desk was also very accommodating, speaking very good English and Italian, of course. Overall, the Luna Hotel was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at during our trip to Italy. I hope that this review finds you well so that you can also enjoy one of the best hotels that Italy has to offer!

They have a very low presence on social media so we were a bit skeptical while booking our stay here but what can i say, it felt like we found the best place to stay in Capri. The rooms are great with amazing view of the faraglioni rocks. The staff and service is also great and everyone is very friendly. It is only 5-10 minute walk from the main capri square at the top. They also have a decent sized swimming pool and it is perfect for spending your mornings. We cannot wait to come back again.
Nitish D — Google review
I liked La Luna hotel. However, I was disappointed by a few things. Pros: The location is absolutely perfect. It is right next to the center of town with all of the high end shopping, but it is slightly tucked away so you feel like you are out of the hustle and bustle as soon as your step on the property. The views are gorgeous, especially from the sea front rooms- you have a front and center view of the Faraglioni rocks. We had a garden view room, and we could still see the sea and the rocks over to our right, which was nice. The rooftop bar is a very nice place to get a drink. The pool area is beautiful. Cons: The service was underwhelming. - This was our first time on Capri, so we didn't know about the logistics of arrival, how to use the funicular, and transport bags. The port of Capri is absolute madness. I thought it would be easy to just catch a cab, but the line was at least 100 people long. When I called the hotel to ask what to do, the person over the phone was not very helpful. Additionally, nowhere on their website or on my confirmation email did it give instructions as to how to get to the hotel. We eventually figured out how to use the funicular (pro tip: you actually have to wait in line to buy tickets, and then wait in a DIFFERENT line to get on the funicular, and it is not easy to do this with big bags because there are some steep steps at the end). It would be nice if they helped make the arrival process more seamless, or at least provided instructions. - Another issue was our check out. We were supposed to leave on a Friday, but we noticed looking at the weather that the wind speeds were going to be very high, so we were worried about our ferry back to Sorrento that day. On Thursday morning, we asked the front desk if they thought the ferries would be cancelled on Friday, and they said that most likely they would be cancelled. Because we did not want to miss our flight, we checked out of the hotel early on Thursday to get back to Sorrento before the high winds. This was the right decision, because they did end up cancelling all of the ferries on Friday. They would not refund us for the Thursday night when we did not stay over. Also, I don't think that they would have informed the hotel guests that the ferries would be cancelled if we had not asked them, and we would have been stuck in Capri another night and missed our flight, so I though that was a bit unprofessional. I think there should be a policy where hotel guests are warned about the potential for inclement weather affecting their travel plans. Our hotel in Positano was very proactive about warning us about storms and helping us make alternative travel arrangements, which Luna did not do. - The rooms are nice, but not 4 star hotel nice. I think they need an update. - The restaurant was just okay. All in all, I would consider staying here again if I came back to Capri, but I would rank this more of a 3 star than a 4 star hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and I really think it's great place to stay to experience Capri. The view from the oceanside of the hotel is really excellent. It's very quiet and serene with a lot of green space. By far my favorite staff/customer service experience of any place we stayed in Greece or Italy during our long honeymoon. This place has warmth and charm that is not seen or experienced anywhere else. It's really a perfect location on the island as well. It's also worth mentioning that the breakfast experience, the pool, and the nearby spaces to walk around/explore were all really excellent.

Excellent location, great service, will pick your bags and drop them off at port for you. Pool is big and nice. Rooftop bar has a great view of the water/rocks. Rooms were bigger than it seemed in the pics. Bathroom was spacious too. Our garden balcony had a partial view of the ocean. I really can’t criticize anything. Great value for money too.

Stayed 5 nights last June. The staff was fantastic. The waiters in the restaurants were so kind to me. The desk attendants were very helpful with recommendations for dining and hikes. I loved eating lunch by the pool and the way the waiters would remember my wine order. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I will be back.

I’m very disappointed that I can’t recommend this hotel. While the location is spectacular and the views are very special, my compliments end there. The staff was not welcoming or friendly in comparison to what we experienced at other properties in Italy, our room had several issues, and we were not given the level of service I’d expect for a hotel with such a price point. We weren’t greeted, told about the hotel, given a basic tour or telling of the property. Our elevator key didn’t work, nor did our phone, so ordering room service meant physically going down to the restaurant to place an order which completely defeats the purpose. The concierge didn’t respond to emails and I didn’t feel like I had any help on what to do or where to dine on the island. If we ever return to Capri, I’d gladly stay somewhere more boutique and expensive to feel like we are welcomed guests and not a nuisance.

The Qubè Cafè is a local favorite in the town for its relaxed atmosphere and good drink prices. The bar staff are friendly and English speaking, meaning that you're almost guaranteed to have a great conversation there. The décor is simple but clean, with well-maintained wood floors and walls.
A hidden gem for tourists, a regular spot for locals. We really enjoyed this place for multiple reasons. First off, we paid for 2 drinks each (4 total) of a delicious and dangerously smooth Cranberry limoncello cocktail, for the same price as most places charge for half that. The rest of their drinks looked creative as well. Bartenders were super friendly & the place had cool music & a great vibe. If you’re looking for a spot in Capri to grab affordable, yet still tasty drinks, and not be surrounded by tourists for a minute, this is a must have!

Bar where mainly locals have a drink. The looks of the place arent that great but the people are. Had a very nice refreshing drink (the special) and chat with the bar keeper who speaks english.

Fantastic and pleasantly different than the rest of Capri. Great music, well-priced drinks and friendly service made for a great evening here.

New Europa Bar Di Fabbrocino Domenico is a charming spot in Capri that offers an incredible dining experience. The food is exceptional, with homemade bread paninis, fresh pizzas, and delightful lemon tart desserts. This bar is an absolute treasure — a perfect blend of charm, elegance, and warmth. Located in an unforgettable setting, it offers breathtaking views and an atmosphere that feels both magical and intimate. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to make every guest feel truly special. Whether you're there for a quiet evening or a special celebration, it’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression.

Away from the tourists(I’m one of those), the Mediterranean lays right in front of the cute place with the islands and peninsulas in the backdrop provide serenity and clam. My salad was fantastic, the figs are so fresh and sweet and Italians just have something special with their Burrata. Service was very friendly with great sense of humor. Great value for the money.
Haiyun Z — Google review
If like us you are a wanderer, keep on Via Roma and you will find this wee jem. Admittedly, we were early and needed brunch so it was very quiet. I had a panini 13 euros (bread made fresh daily) and my friend had a pizza, 15 euros. Both very fresh and delicious. Lovely quiet area as few tourists travelled this far but only 5 minuets further from busy areas and well worth it. The waiter was lovely, friendly and attentive. Be warned, the drink does not have huge amounts of soda to make them look big, proper measures and so good we had two each. Also, while your in this area, look at the shops. Not over priced like at the top of the Funicular. This place is a must if you have children, one pizza is big enough to share between two making it the cheapest place we found in Capri. It's also well shaded by the white sun canopies. If I'm ever in Capri again, this will be on my top list to return to.

This restaurant caught our eye as it was by the stunning view of the Capri port. The food was delicious, the service was quick, had vegetarian options also. Daniel was very helpful not just suggesting the food but also things to do around. Do go there if you are around there.
Ria G — Google review
Of our many meals in Italy, this was easily the best experience that we had. The food and beverages were both good but what made this experience stand out was the service and hospitality. Daniel was inviting, relaxed, and made us feel welcome. I hope to make it back to Capri one day and would prioritize a trip back to Bar Europa.

Our boat tour stopped in Capri, so we were limited on time and found this place. I am happy we chose Cafe Europa! We had the burrata, prosciutto, melon salad and it was amazing. The view was great, but the service and food was even better. Our waiter gave us suggestions of things to do and overall was a nice person. Also, I’ve never had fresh olives before - I will be searching forever to find these in the states!!
Angie F — Google review
We passed by Europa bar by a complete chance me and my wife were hiking the island when we decided that we are going to set in the first place that we encounter for a coffee break ended up ordering pinsa with arugula And caprese, and did not regret that! The pinsa was so so so good, you can tell they are using the best ingredients. Yeah, let me know. Forget to mention that the quality of the olive oil and the aceto balsamico is of a very good quality! The only reason I selected four stars on the atmosphere is just because the place is located on the side of the actual road, which could be a bit noisy here and there, but other than that, everything was marvelous

After a 20 days trip in Italy, it was the best restaurant and experience we had. We stopped here spontaneously because we walk away from the tourist crowd. It was a calm and comfortable place with a beautiful view. The food was delicious, good taste, the quantity was great, not too fatty, nothing to complain, my partner and I do recommend this gem 300%. It was more than a perfect service: Warm thanks to Daniel for welcoming us, we truly appreciated your hospitality and discussion. He advised us on what to visit and see on the island, next we went to the park with a beautiful view! Finally, thanks for the chilies seeds 🌶️, we will grow them asap! Cheers from Réunion Island 🏝️

Bar Iolanda is a charming restaurant located in Capri, offering stunning views of the sea. Visitors have praised the warm and friendly welcome from the multilingual staff, creating a delightful dining experience. The restaurant is known for its delicious cuisine, with particular praise for their calamari and espresso affogato. Guests have also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, exemplified by one individual who provided assistance with transportation before enjoying a drink at the bar later on.
We were there with my six member family. The food was amazing, the serving was also great. The waiters were the friendliest that I've ever experienced. They brought the food in 15 minutes and we got snacks before the food too. I personally loved the design of the whole area and this was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life. 5 stars of course.🩷

We knew we would pay premium prices because of the location but it is what it is. The food was surprisingly excellent, especially after a bumpy ferry ride that had me feeling a little ill. The staff were very friendly, accomodating and service was quick. The pizza base was really great, I was very happy with it.

Giuseppe and the team here were delightful and accommodating. Our food was wonderful, and the portions very good. After a trip to the blue grotto, my girlfriend and I ate here before continuing our adventures. Absolutely worth checking out.

Amazing food and service from staff! Ivan and Joe staff have great character and catered to all our food requests, great banter and perfect choice for brunch in capri! We shared a few different dishes all was delicious but my favourite was the Mediterranean bruschetta. 10/10 defo recommend

I smelled the heavenliness of what I guessed as calamari as I passed by after exiting from the funicolare just beside the bar. I asked a staff if that was indeed a calamari and he affirmed. After buying my ferry ticket and still had time, I went back and ordered it. It was perfect. Kudos to them. The huge lemon placed on the table was mesmerizing. Staff were pretty nice. There is a (free) toilet inside the souvenir shop behind it: go inside, then on the left is a short, narrow stairs going up right into the toilet/washroom. It's a nice place to people-watch and rest as it's right in front of the harbor. €25~ is a heck of a price but I don't regret it. What a gorgeous meal to end my Capri day trip.

The best Pest pasta I ever had. The service in the restaurant was exceptional. Giuseppe and other staff were amazing. It is not about the price, is about the Quality and how they work together and what they have been able to accomplish. Pure Satisfaction delicious food and service.

Yes it's at the port and yes it's probably not first area I would choose because tourist areas arent good places mostly. But THIS PLACE is pretty dang good. Service very friendly, drinks good, food good too. Try the octopus, fried calamari, pasta seafood. We left happy. Atmosphere of the restaurant is good but surrounded by tourists. Its worth a try.

Bar
Bar Due Golfi Di Cataldo Roberto is a popular spot in Capri known for serving the best coffee on the island. Locals frequent this charming establishment to enjoy a cup of Caffe or Beer in a welcoming atmosphere. The friendly owners always greet visitors with warm smiles, making it a favorite morning stop for many. It's considered an authentic local experience and not just another tourist trap, adding to its appeal.
Very nice staff, we paid for espresso at the "banco" 2 euros each.
Barbara N — Google review
Roberto is an absolute savior. Coffee and bar is great, and he helped organize taxis and point us in the right direction throughout our trip. Great location, great service, 10/10
Alexander B — Google review
This cannot even be called a tourist trap, but just a scam. A bar off the beaten track that looks like a cheap place. There is no fixed price list, locals probably have different prices than tourists. The food is of poor quality, the coffee is even weaker (as you can see, even in Italy you can drink terrible espresso or cappuccino). The seller didn't even care much about what we ordered because instead of three croissants with chocolate, we got one with marmalade. For three croissants, two small cookies, 2 espressos, 2 cappuccinos and a slice of pizza we paid 60 euros. We paid 15 euros for an identical breakfast in Agerola. I know that Capri is an expensive place, but even walking down the main street, passing more fancy places, we saw great looking croissants for 3.5 euros, here each croissant cost 4. The bill did not include any coperto and practically every thing was the same price as indicates typical scam. It's a pity that we hadn't read the comments earlier which mentioned drinks for 15 euros or beer with cake for 12. I would like to give 0 but there is no such option

Bar with very fair prices for the area. Good coffee.

Nightmare. I guess one of the worst’s breakfasts in my life…you should avoid this place in Capri, tourist trap! Place looks like a cheap bar but in reality prices are inappropriate in terms of quality and atmosphere. I’m aware that places like Capri are pretty expensive but the owner clearly exaggerates with the price list and changes them depending on the customer…also he does not do a good coffee at all! Cappuccino was really bad, burnt coffee and milk, it tasted like the cheapest coffee from an unwashed coffee machine at the train station. Croissant with chocolate was medium…I mean for this price you can eat in on the the near cafes with a nice see view and much better coffee…leaves a bad taste
Anna L — Google review
I had a lovely coffee and delicious fresh pastry for breakfast will be back. Sit in always extra €9 for my visit. Best coffee I have had on the island.
Michelle C — Google review
Bar is situated next to a very busy mini roundabout, so noisy traffic constantly going past. We were prepared to overlook that, as the bar can't help being where it is, but the food was disappointing, and both food and drinks were vastly overpriced. Two pre-prepared, soggy white bread sandwiches in triangular plastic packaging (think budget supermarket) were 7€ each, two disappointing café crema served in a tiny paper carton were €5 each, and a couple of limoncello spritzes at an astronomical €15 each completed a very disappointing Capri lunch. Cannot recommend this place, avoid!
