1Capri Tiberio Palace

Hotel
Capri Tiberio Palace is an ultra-chic boutique hotel and spa that offers a glamorous, Dolce Vita vibe with its recent makeover by designer Gianpiero Panepinto. The interiors burst with vibrant colors and vintage pieces from the 1950s and 60s, creating a fun and cozy atmosphere. The hotel's 54 bedrooms and suites feature sea-facing terraces, some of which are quite spacious.
One of the best hotels in Capri in my opinion, the rooms are very big with very nice bathrooms including a small vanity and a shower with 3 shower heads. Some rooms have a terrace which are very nice to relax on and have great views. The breakfast is exceptional with a buffet with a variety of tarts, fruits, pastries and a lot more. Service is great and quick. The one thing is that in the location it is in, it is not accessible by car so if you go out to a restaurant by taxi you have to walk around 5 minutes to the taxi stop on your way and on your way back. Other than that the hotel is perfect and I would highly recommend it.

We had a truly incredible stay at Capri Tiberio Palace. Right from the moment we were greeted at the Marina and through our entire visit, the service was wonderful and made our stay that much better. The staff truly go above and beyond, anticipating your every need and ensuring you have the perfect vacation. The hotel itself is gorgeous and centrally located with every amenity you could need and beautiful views of Capri and the sea. We enjoyed delicious cocktails at the bar and great breakfasts at the hotel restaurant. The pool was another highlight. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Capri and we look forward to visiting this hotel again!

We spent three unforgettable days at Tiberio Palace, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a world of effortless elegance. The design is a perfect mix of contemporary style and classic Capri charm - colorful, artistic, and full of personality, yet calm and refined. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every request was met with a smile, and we always felt looked after without it ever feeling overdone. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and impeccably styled, with thoughtful details that made us feel both at home and spoiled. Waking up to those views over Capri is something we’ll never forget. Breakfast on the terrace was another highlight — fresh, abundant, and delicious, with the kind of variety and quality you’d expect from a place of this caliber. Sitting there with coffee and pastries while looking out over the sea was pure bliss. The pool area and spa are stunning, and it’s easy to lose track of time just relaxing in such a serene setting. After days of exploring the island, it was the perfect retreat. Tiberio Palace isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience. It captures the spirit of Capri in a way that feels both stylish and soulful. We left with full hearts and already dream of returning.

We stayed here for 1 night but wish it was more. The service was amazing. Everyone was so kind, professional and helpful. The location was great, close to the center but still in a quiet location. Breakfast was held outside on their terrace overlooking the sea because we were having such beautiful weather even in October. Lucca the server was attentive and very nice and the breakfast buffet had such yummy food. I would definitely be back and tell others to go. The decor in the rooms and hotel made it stand out from others. The rooms were a good size, cozy and very pleasant to be in. Grazie Mille again to everyone who helped us!
Breanna N — Google review
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Very amazing team. Everything for lodging on Capri is surprisingly expensive but this hotel gives you a VERY special experience for your money. Literally feels like a Restoration Hardware Museum throughout the hotel. Same with the rooms. Nice views from many rooms too. The front desk, the concierge, the restaurant and the pool team are amazing.
Erik A — Google review
Our stay at Hotel Tiberio Palace was disappointing. Despite the many five star options on Capri, we chose this hotel because of its reputation, reviews, and central location. The property is beautiful and well kept, but the service did not meet the standard of a true luxury hotel. It began with promise from the greeting at the pier, to the smooth check in, and the excellent bar staff. After that, the experience declined. The attentiveness, warmth, and consistency expected from a hotel of this caliber were missing. Nothing was offensive, yet little was done to make the stay feel personal or worthy of the price. For a hotel listed among the Leading Hotels of the World, the absence of genuine hospitality was surprising. Capri Tiberio Palace missed the mark, and guests seeking true five star service would be better served elsewhere. The name feels fitting. Like Emperor Tiberius, the hotel appears content to rule from a distance, proud in image but detached in practice. Grandeur without connection cannot define luxury, and beauty alone does not make a world class experience.

The best hotel we visited in costa Amalfitana. Beautiful rooms, large and updated decorated. Wonderful terrace to bay view. Best breakfast with porch eggs in 3 different ways of serving..best cakes and muffins. Minibar is free of charge and full cold drinks. Vittoria in reception and Luca in dining room were so nice, friendly and helpful so we had to give them credit to our appreciation. We highly recommend the hotel, best located and atmosphere.

Absolutely loved staying here. The pool is amazing and the rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Jacky Bar is a wonderful place to have a drink, Marco is the best. Can’t wait to come back again!

The Grand Hotel Quisisana is an upscale hotel that offers a luxurious experience with its breakfast options and three restaurants, as well as pools and a spa featuring a hammam. Over the years, it has been frequented by Hollywood legends like Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, and many others. The hotel's ground floor restaurant is highly regarded for its breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings which include a refined cuisine using fresh local ingredients.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt like pure luxury. The property is absolutely high-value, offering comfort, elegance, and breathtaking surroundings. What made the stay exceptional was the staff. Every single person we met was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality was beyond five-star service—always ready to help with a smile, anticipating our needs, and making us feel at home while still providing world-class care. The concierge team, in particular, was so helpful and made everything smooth and effortless during our stay. The attention to detail, the warmth of the team, and the top-quality service made our stay perfect. This is not just a hotel; it’s an experience in true excellence. I can’t recommend it enough and would definitely come back.

Let’s not be ridiculous – this hotel is nowhere near the standard of other Leading Hotels of the World!!! I had issues particularly with the ladies at reservations, who were frankly rude and unprofessional. I repeatedly asked to speak with the manager, Mr Antonio D’Alisa, but never received a response despite several follow-ups. Is this really how a returning guest should be treated? Or the level of service one expects from a five-star hotel? The style is dated – even slightly tacky – and they simply do not deserve to be part of such a prestigious hotel programme. So if you’re used to top standards, avoid! I will also be sharing this feedback with Leading Hotels of the World directly. In line with the most basic principles of top-level hospitality, not being given the opportunity to speak with the manager is entirely unacceptable
Alessandra V — Google review
Terrible experience with the reservations team. I asked multiple times to speak with the manager Antonio D’Alisa, but was never allowed. They refused also to share his email address. As a returning customer who has also organised a business event with over 250 guests at the property, this is both unacceptable and unbelievable. It’s hard to believe they are members of The Leading Hotels of the World — I have never experienced such terrible service at any other hotel in the group.
Mustang M — Google review
We enjoyed the beautifully restored room for the night visiting from Sorrento. The room was well appointed with luxurious robes and slippers and amenities. The coffee and breakfast delivered was superb. Honestly I would come back just to stay in the room. We were impressed with every aspect except the pool which was sublet and they were not very nice. The service, concierge and everything else was perfect.
Denise S — Google review
Hotel needs modernization. Stuck in the past, with very a poor gastronomic offer , a lack of restaurants, and shameful high prices. The breakfast was very limited, and there was no coffee maker in the room. The quality and value are terrible. If the hotel price was different, it could be accepted it, but given its high rates it is entirely unaccepted, Either they modernize and invest, or when their regular elderly guests die, they'll go under. A typical hotel living off past glories. The owners need to be told that if they want to charge like a luxury hotel, they have to provide service as such, to begin with.
Review — Google review
Old fashioned gem in the heart of Capri, with an inviting terrace for a little coffee break to make island memories. Try the torta caprese with vanilla ice cream, along with a coffee and a lemon infused local Birra Capri beer.
Caspar I — Google review
If you’ve ever wondered what a hotel looks like after 49 years of zero investment, welcome to the Quisisana. It’s not so much a five-star hotel as it is a living, wheezing museum of bad taste and bad management. The furniture, fixtures, and fittings are literally collapsing around you. The “luxury” hairdryer proudly mounted on the bathroom wall looks like it was stolen from a 1983 gym locker room. At €3,000 a night for an average room, you too can enjoy the unique sensation of not wanting to touch anything in the bathroom without a hazmat suit. During the day, the lights in the lobby are turned off, not for “atmosphere,” but because the owners are clearly running this place on a candle budget. And don’t bother asking about restaurants: the hotel doesn’t have one anymore. Yes, you read that correctly, Capri’s so-called grande dame can’t even manage a properly functioning restaurant. The location is spectacular, the footprint enormous, the potential limitless. And yet the ownership has achieved the impossible: turning prime Capri real estate into a depressing relic. Don’t be fooled by the “tradition and authenticity” excuse. This isn’t heritage preservation—it’s stinginess dressed up as romance. If you want to see how to actually respect history while delivering modern luxury, look at Belmond Caruso or Le Sirenuse. The truth? The Quisisana is being kept alive by the same loyal clientele who don’t know any better—average age, 75. The hotel will die when they do, unless someone with an ounce of hospitality knowledge intervenes. Until then, this place is nothing more than a ghost of glory past, running on dusty chandeliers, broken fixtures, and the fumes of Capri’s name.

We have been staying her for years and it needs a total refurb they still have the old jacuzzis coming out from the sides the beds round the pool are plastic and you sit like sardines and its veery hot even with umbrellas the owners were not their usual friendly selves last year food at lunch is lovely and sitting for a drink outside is very nice watching the people but the rest is drab and old fashioned you cant even get a strawberry or raspberry on the buffet without being charged also an omelette we now are staying at La Palma and they have amazing beach club they take you down by lovely air conditioned coach

Jumeirah Capri Palace is a luxurious 5-star hotel located in Anacapri, offering a perfect retreat away from the town's hustle and bustle. The hotel features a luxe spa, two pools, fine dining options, and even a private beach. Guests can enjoy the free outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, and an award-winning spa with various wellness facilities.
Great location as you can get a shuttle to the entrance of the hotel which isn't the case for some other 5 star hotels in capri town. Good service generally, very pleasant and polite but several breakfast staff failed to understand very simple requests whether in the restaurant or for room service. The rooms are generally pleasant with several different themes some being nicer than others. It took several changes before finding one that suited us. Good gym and the outside pool area is really nice and tranquil with good sun exposure all day. Negatives : Water temperature at the hot tap in the bath was capped at 38c degrees! No sauna in the spa, only steam room. There was a wedding reception one evening and we weren't informed. Zuma and A-ma-re hotels closed early for the season and we weren't informed prior to booking the room. Therefore the only restaurant on site was a 2 star Michelin restaurant. The food/snack menu in the bar was rather uninspiring. Tried the 2 star Michelin, wasn’t impressed. To start with its set in the same room where you eat breakfast which takes the shine off it a little. I chose a soup from the a la carte entree menu, ir coat €75 for this soup, it was nice but it was very simply, blended tomatoes, which felt underwhelming at €75 😂

A pleasant and luxurious genuine caprese experience, from the beginning to the end. The hotel is a refurbished palace located near the downtown of Anacapri (the high part of the island). Curated gardens and impeccably decorated facilities make the stay aesthetically appealing. The rooms amenities were nicely arranged daily. The staff is truly attentive and professional. The breakfast at L’olivo restaurant (two Michelin star), would say one of the best I ever tried, with fresh fruit, french and Italian pastries, variety of cheeses/deli and also a la carte menu. Totally recommend it, exceptional hospitality and top-notch service.

Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful and the location in Anacapri is ideal. The staff and the service were exceptional. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and this was without a doubt the best hotel experience of our trip. Some highlights included the fact that we did not touch our luggage as soon as we stepped onto the island, the shuttle service was incredible, the reservation at the beach clubs and restaurants were so easy, and the fact that they helped with the queue for the chairlift was amazing! We even received a happy honeymoon cake upon check-in and our room had an amazing view! We absolutely loved this hotel and would love to come back again!

The best few nights of our trip! Celebrated our anniversary and extended for an additional night. Incredible breakfast! Gorgeous views. Private and serene. Lorenzo and entire staff helpful, fun and kind. We had a blast! See you next year ❤️❤️
Tracy C — Google review
From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. Every staff member—reception, housekeeping, restaurant team, and especially the attentive pool waiter—went above and beyond to make our stay truly five-star. We even extended our Capri trip just to spend a night here. The pool is gorgeous, the Michelin-star restaurant is unforgettable, and the private shuttle made getting around effortless—they even drove us to the ferry right on schedule when we departed. If you’re looking for genuine luxury and warm hospitality, this hotel is a must. We can’t wait to return!
Kelsey H — Google review
My second visit and again was extremely impressed with the staff. Special mention to Federico who oversees guest experience at the pool. I enjoyed my time by the pool so much that I chose this hotel to visit for a second time. Fabulous location! Beautiful relaxing pool. Beautiful breakfast. Very friendly drivers!

Truly a Palace – Unmatched Service From the moment we booked, the service at Jumeirah Capri Palace was absolutely outstanding. The concierge took care of everything—from our arrival at Naples airport to making sure our check-in was seamless. The word Palace is no exaggeration—this place is stunning, and the service is honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. Everything we needed was handled with genuine care, no stress, and no pressure to tip—just heartfelt hospitality. The management clearly sets a high bar, and the entire staff reflects it. Breakfast is served at their 2 Michelin star restaurant, and we had dinner there our first night—unforgettable. We left feeling like royalty. If you’re heading to Capri, don’t think twice. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We had the chance to photograph a wedding at Capri Palace, and the ceremony on the rooftop was absolutely breathtaking. With such an incredible view over Capri, it felt like the perfect place to say “I do.” The setting was elegant yet full of character, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere for the couple and their guests. Capri Palace is simply a dream for a wedding celebration.

Amazing experience. Highly recommend this hotel. Great service, amenities. Helped make our stay in capri magical

Yes. 5 stars hotels with all great amenities. Happy with stay and service . But I have one issue, I did call to hotel like one week ahead for "can I bring the car to island or not?". The receptionist don't speak good English and he said YES. He said "They will park the car " . Then I try to take my car with ferry ⛴️ to Capri. Big problem . Can't take the car to island. I took my chance and I just left the car at ferry gate at main land. Bz I want to be there on time. Nothing happen . That's great. 5 stars hotel with great service . Room are beautiful and clean. 4/5 bz they should put someone who more fluently to speak and understand English. Have fun , don't forget to goes down to beach .

This hotel is a beautiful property - wonderful lobby with many places to sit, beautiful views, spacious and comfortable rooms. A major pro is its location - it’s outside of the town of capri so you can experience the quiet and serenity of the island without the craziness of all the tourists (however the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the town which is helpful and convenient for exploring) There were some kinks that could be worked on. For example our arrival was a complete mess, we got off the ferry and nobody was there to greet us and my husband had to take all of our luggage in the boiling heat on his own until someone showed up, and then we had to wait a long time for the porter to take our bags; the whole thing was disorganized and he was not very apologetic. Other example is that I had a request for something in the room to be checked at 18:00 which isn’t particularly late in my opinion and only at 18:50 did they get back to me saying they could send someone but by then it was too late since my son had fallen asleep. Additionally the WhatsApp service is helpful but not perfect - the concierge would often take a while to respond and while I recognize it takes time to tend to requests, just an immediate acknowledgment of the message and saying you were working on it would be helpful, as opposed to not knowing if the message was even received. Lastly, the shuttle often had long wait times - sometimes we waited 15-20 minutes to be picked up and during high season I believe this should be improved. Overall, a great stay, nice staff and great property, but for this high of a price point, these flaws should be worked out.

We had a great room with fantastic sea views. Very accomodating when it came arranging last minute bookings. The fruits and muslie at breakfast were very good . Helped us rush to the ferry when we were running late.

Worst service ever. At the pool my shirt was physically stolen and it took them multiple days to actually confront the thief after viewing the cameras. The beach at the hotel is super crowded. We then booked a boat to take us to our driver who was goong to take us to the airport but our boat arrived an hour late because of the hotel. Staff would interrupt us multiple times in the middle of leaving in the morning checking to see if we were coming. I hated my experience here. If youre going to Capri, stay in Louisiana.

Exquisite stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel. We usually stay at Four Seasons and have high expectations when traveling. The JK was a superb hotel- I felt like our needs were filled before we even knew we had them, things like picking us up were swift, ferry tickets and baggage tickets procured- they know how to take care of people. In the midst of what can sometimes feel like a frenzied pace in Capri- with lots of people around, JK was a welcome respite and a calm oasis. We were grateful to hear the waves lapping at the beach below as we awoke and fell asleep. One of my favorite hotels anywhere.
Carly K — Google review
My wife and I married in Capri and we couldn’t have been more impressed with our experience while staying at JK Place. The staff were all so accommodating and friendly. They made us feel very special and welcomed with every interaction we had. The hotel quality itself is amazing, comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, walk in closet, and a patio with a view that cannot be topped. The level of service and quality of the accommodations is top notch. Also a great bonus - welcome drink, snacks and breakfast are all included, as well they will drive you to/from the square. On behalf of Jake and Sarah, thank you to all the staff that made this an unforgettable stay!

Hotel Villa Brunella is a refined retreat in Capri, offering bright quarters and a rooftop restaurant with captivating views of Marina Piccola and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Located on Via Tragara, it's within walking distance of Piazzetta and Via Camerelle. The outdoor pool is perched above a cove and shadowed by Mount Solaro, providing an ideal spot for relaxation.
My family and I just spent a week at Villa Brunella and it was absolutely amazing!!! The location is perfect, located a very short walk from the hustle and bustle of Capri and very private. The villa is beautiful, with an amazing pool and large but cozy rooms. The restaurant at the hotel is delicious. The best part is the staff. Everyone is amazing: kind, accommodating, helpful. We got great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They made us feel at home in Capri and shared their beautiful island with us with open arms. Grazie a tutti and we already cannot wait to come back.

We booked Villa Brunella in Capri last minute, and it ended up being one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had last year—and we’ve traveled a lot worldwide. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Our room was sparking clean, beautifully maintained with high quality amenities. We didn’t have a room with views, but that wasn’t much necessary since the Garden with views was just 5 steps away & we enjoyed it everyday. The hotel restaurant was outstanding—every meal was fresh, high-quality, and made even more special by the breathtaking views. The complimentary breakfast each morning was another treat, with fresh, delicious options that started each day perfectly. Villa Brunella in Capri truly exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it and would absolutely stay again!

We had the absolute best time staying at Hotel Brunella! The rooms & views were absolutely beautiful. The hotel is tucked away from the Capri town area so it was very quiet too which we loved. The staff was also so friendly & accommodating, we loved every second here! Highly recommend it and would absolutely stay there again!

In ALL categories, this hotel was amazing. We loved the size and location of this hotel. Just a short beautiful walk from the main square it sat nestled in the hill with spectacular views. The Staff was outstanding and helped us plan an amazing vow renewal. Truly was a phenomenal experience. Book here, you won’t regret it.

The hotel is in the perfect location. Our room didnt have a view but it it had a door to the yard which was nice. The team was so helpful before and during the trip. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a spot thats central but also slightly tucked away.

This little slice of heaven was one the best hotels I’ve stays I’ve had in years! The staff is next level, Francesco and Pepe were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed! The view from every spot is absolutely breathtaking and it’s a short walk to the main square so it’s a quiet calm feel escaping the rush busy areas. I have already recommended this hotel to very discerning friends headed to Capri in a few months!

We had one of the best stays of any trip at this hotel. Not only did the room have a gorgeous view of the island, everyone was so accommodating from directing us to their facilities to helping to book a boat tour, we felt so welcomed we ended up staying an extra night. (Even when I almost lost a room key they were so nice about it) Thank you for making our stay so special!

Truly had the best stay here last week with my husband. There’s not a single thing I would change. The views from every part of the hotel are absolutely breathtaking all the workers from the people at the front desk to the men who are working at the pool are amazing. Truly a five star service hotel and can’t wait to come back! Also best location, it’s quiet but also walking distance to the main area.

Hotel Caesar Augustus is an elegant villa hotel located in Anacapri, Italy. The hotel offers a fine-dining restaurant with stunning bay views, a luxurious spa, and an infinity pool. The history of the island is intertwined with the hotel's story, as it was once the dominion of Rome after Octavian Caesar interpreted a favorable sign upon landing in Capri.
We stayed at Caesar Augustus for two nights on our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. We wished we had stayed for more. While Capri was quite busy, staying in Anacapri at Caesar Augustus was quiet and amazing. Our room overlooked the sea, offering absolutely breathtaking views. The gym was outside, and though it was small, it had brand-new Technogym equipment. Antonella, who managed everything, was amazing and helped us coordinate a private dinner. The pool area was also fantastic, with great sun coverage, an infinity pool overlooking the water, and excellent poolside dining. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful, and our room, complete with a balcony, was perfect. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

Outstanding Honeymoon Experience at Hotel Caesar Augustus ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional in Every Way My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon at Hotel Caesar Augustus, and it exceeded every expectation. This hotel truly understands what makes a stay memorable - it's all about the people and the experience they create. Obviously stunning and breath-taking views everywhere but a few more things to share. Staff Excellence Across Every Department The entire team deserves recognition. From the moment we arrived, every interaction was exceptional: Concierge: Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with local recommendations Front desk: Professional, warm, and always available Housekeeping: Rooms were immaculate daily with thoughtful touches Transport & baggage: Seamless service that made arrival and departure effortless Pool & F&B staff: Attentive without being intrusive, always with genuine smiles What made the biggest impression was how the staff genuinely welcomed us getting to know their names and learning about their backgrounds. This personal connection meant the world to us and created such a warm, authentic experience. Unparalleled Setting & Ambiance The hotel's location is simply breathtaking. It's a tranquil oasis perfect for couples seeking romance and relaxation. The sunsets from the hotel's bar and restaurants are beyond incredible - truly some of the most spectacular views we've ever experienced. The pool area is stunning, and the gardens below create a serene atmosphere. We loved how the hotel maintains its peaceful ambiance with gentle reminders to respect the tranquility - it really enhances the experience for everyone. Dining Recommendations The hotel's dining is excellent, but we highly recommend asking the staff for authentic restaurant recommendations in Anacapri for at least one evening. Their local knowledge led us to some truly special meals that we'll never forget. Final Thoughts Hotel Caesar Augustus is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience. The combination of exceptional staff, breathtaking location, and attention to detail creates something truly special. Respect the peaceful atmosphere, connect with the wonderful team, and you'll have an unforgettable time. We can't wait to return!

My favorite hotel in Capri, probably one of the best views on the island. The service and location are excellent. The rooms are a bit dated, as the hotel itself is older, but I believe renovations are planned soon. My only wish is that they offered a shuttle service between Capri and Anacapri, as the hotel is located in Anacapri. That said, they were extremely helpful with our departure: during check-in and check-out, they provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the port, load all your luggage onto the ferry, and even assist with tickets. This was a huge help, as managing luggage on the ferry can be a challenge.

This place is GORGEOUS!!! We didn’t stay here, but came for dinner and drinks and you can tell it is super clean and well cared for. The staff was amazing to us and we felt very welcomed. The location is great for views but not ideal for walking to and from the main city of Capri. If view is your priority, this place is probably it!

Perfectly magical experience! From the moment we arrived on property the staff was welcoming and attentive to every detail to make our stay a lifelong memory. The hotel and grounds are exceptionally maintained. We had breakfast and dinner at the Caeser Augustus every day. There was no need to search for other dining on Capri because we knew anywhere else would be disappointing. An experience of exceptional elegance and quality.

Incredible views, exceptional service, and beautifully clean rooms right in the heart of Anacapri, away from all the crazy tourist traps. The food was out of this world, with a fantastic aperitivo to start every evening. A special shoutout to Pasquale for providing outstanding service all week you truly made our honeymoon stay unforgettable! The shuttles were always clean and made it easy to get around, with the perfect distance to all the top restaurants. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite hotels ever. The service was impeccable, the food was so fresh and delicious, and the views were stunning. Absolutely one of the best highlights of our vacation.

This hotel is the absolute best hotel we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home. The room was amazing, the food was great, the view was incredible, and most importantly the staff were all so professional, polite and kind. Our story was abit exceptional because we left our camera on the boat to Capri. The moment we reported to the hotel, the front office manager Laura responded so quickly and efficiently and within a few minutes was able to contact the boat captain and found the camera. We are truly grateful and thankful to the team of Hotel Caesar Augustus for making our stay a most perfect one. Thank you Francesco the friendly hotel driver who drove us to and from the hotel, Mr David at the Conceirge who helped us with a last minute restaurant booking, the kind and helpful doorman, front desk crew and all the people at the breakfast restaurant. Much love, best wishes and best of health.. hope our paths will cross again. Mr Yeo

Albergo la Minerva is a sophisticated boutique hotel located in Capri, offering stunning views of the sea. The 19-room hotel is designed in mod-Capri style with handmade Maiolica tiled floors and colorful local ceramics against white paintwork. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the roof terrace and relax in the pretty garden with an inviting pool. The hotel's charming Mediterranean decor, family-owned ambiance, and picturesque terraces make it a classic choice for a romantic stay on the island.
Awesome hotel. Best on the island. A short walk from the center of capri, away from all the noise. Nice view of the south side of capri. Breakfast on the first floor with nice view. Great hospitality, friendly reception, great service. Can even help you get boat tickets and arrange everything for you.

This is by far the most special experience I’ve ever had and the most special place I’ve ever stayed. To start, the location is wonderful, the view is fantastic, the pool is great, the cocktails are the best I’ve ever had, and the food (especially the room service) is EXCEPTIONAL! Now, what really makes this place shine is the hospitality. It is family owned and by the time you leave, you will feel part of that family. As a single girl traveling alone, they made me feel comfortable and safe, took care of every detail, and I also got to spend time with them sharing my life and listening to their story. I had high expectations from so many people recommending La Minerva and they exceeded every expectation and surprised and delighted me in so many ways! I can’t wait to go back. This is a place that will always be in my heart and I will continue to come back the rest of my life!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived, it was clear we were staying at a hotel truly cared for by its family owners, now in the hands of the third generation. The owner himself oversees every detail—guests are greeted with warmth and the genuine attention that comes from a family legacy. Staff throughout, including the concierge team, were exceptionally professional, warm, and eager to assist. We found concierge service to be consistently excellent. Our room was spotlessly clean and refreshed daily—linen crisp, surfaces immaculate. Guests regularly comment on the high level of cleanliness here . Meals were memorable: breakfast offered variety and quality, and the food & beverage service throughout the day was truly impressive. Reviewers frequently highlight the dining as a standout feature of the hotel . If there was one wish, it would be for unlimited pool access—being able to use the pool all day would elevate the experience even more. Final thought: A family-run gem where owner oversight, spotless rooms, superb concierge and dining combine for an exceptional stay. Couldn’t recommend more!

Our stay at La Minerva was the highlight of our vacation. The owners and staff truly make you feel like family and their very detailed touches went such a long way in making our stay so wonderful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the pool and views were spectacular. I’m confident there is not a better place to stay in Capri, or anywhere else the world!

Honeymoon Stay – Simply Unforgettable Our stay was absolutely impeccable. This boutique hotel perfectly captures the essence and charm of Capri. Owned and personally managed by two brothers, their hands-on approach and genuine hospitality shine through in every detail. The entire team—owners included—goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is nothing short of exceptional. The concierge service was outstanding, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. The on-site restaurant served some of the finest meals we had during our time in Capri—truly memorable. We were generously upgraded to a dream-worthy room with a breathtaking view, making our honeymoon even more special. An absolute must when visiting Capri.

A small, chic hotel that somehow manages to surprise you. While the rooms are quite compact, the focus clearly falls on the bathrooms and the terrace, which are both thoughtfully designed. Unfortunately, the layout of the wardrobe is far from practical—there’s limited space for storing travel bags, and clothes hang directly above them, which isn’t ideal if the luggage is dirty. Additionally, the fridge is placed right beneath the storage area, making the whole setup feel cramped, especially in a room with poor ventilation. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast. The menu offered very limited options, and the small corner buffet featured only a handful of items—quite underwhelming, which is a shame. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They brought warmth and professionalism, significantly elevating the overall experience. The hotel also offers a paid luggage transport service, which is incredibly useful given the crowded city streets and narrow lanes that make carrying bags a real challenge. Overall, it was a decent experience for the short stay we had.

Our stay at La Minerva was absolutely perfect—everything about the hotel exceeded expectations. The property is beautifully maintained. What truly made the experience exceptional was the warm, attentive service; the Esposito family and staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and took care of every detail, from restaurant bookings to beach clubs and local recommendations. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

What a place. It’s incredibly beautiful and looks like it’s been recently remodeled. Rooms, rooftop, lobby - all of it incredibly beautiful. Pool area is beautiful and relaxing. But what really sets this place apart is the incredible incredible hospitality. We’ve never experienced hospitality like this, even in some other high end five star hotels. It’s a family run business and they make you feel a part of the family. It’s as if you have someone in the know that you can just ask questions and they not only know the answers, they handle everything for you. You just don’t have to worry about anything. We forgot something in the room, and we were in a rush to catch a ferry - they ran to the room with my wife to grab it and tried to get her a ride back to the piazetta so as not to miss the boat. Antonino, Fabricio and mom (!) are there daily to handle every little detail. We can’t thank you all enough for everything and for the way you treated our family. Hope to see you again soon!

Hotel Punta Tragara is a luxurious villa property located on the southern outskirts of Capri, offering breathtaking views of Faraglioni and the sea. The hotel features 44 refined rooms with amenities such as minibars, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and marble bathrooms with Ortigia bath products. Guests can enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast overlooking the sea and savor typical Capri and Neapolitan dishes at the Monzu restaurant with its panoramic outdoor terrace.
We stayed at the hotel Punta Tragara mid July 2025 and it was an amazingly beautiful property. We had the most breathtaking view from our Deluxe sea-view room. Every morning we had complementary breakfast overlooking Capri with views of the Blue Grotto area as well. They have a Michelin star restaurant, Le Monzu, which I highly recommend and the lunch restaurant near the pool has excellent food as well. The staff were so accommodating and everything was top-notch and luxurious. If I ever went back to Capri, I would stay here again without a doubt. You cannot beat the view and the property is just gorgeous!

One of our favorite hotels on the planet! Absolutely incredible from the views to the staff. The entire hotel was spotless from head to toe. The rooms were well appointed and everything worked as it should with the best views! Staff was super friendly and helpful and the location is quiet and charming being right next to a great walking path with more awesome views! Truly an awesome place to stay!

Hotel Punta Tragara, Capri blends design heritage with understated chic of capri. While the rooms can feel on the smaller side; a nod to the property’s historic architecture as they retain an undeniable charm and sense of place. The real showstopper, however, is the pool area, which is nothing short of stunning: elegant terraces and crystalline water set against some of Capri’s most breathtaking views. A boutique stay that’s as much about atmosphere and vistas as it is about the stay. Ps. Best Olives ever at pool bar 🫒💚🤍❤️

This is truly a 5 star resort! From arrival, to the room, the amenities and the attention to detail. We could not recommend this hotel more highly. The only negative, for those with mobility issues, is the hotel is an @ 10 to 15 minute walk from the town and there is no transportation from town to get you directly to the hotel, even on arrival (though the resort did take care of the luggage). I would recommend staying here if going to Capri!!
Jimma L — Google review
Firstly, let me start by explaining that you must walk 20 minutes from the center of town to arrive at this hotel. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this “luxury” hotel room was such a disappointment I feel compelled to warn others. The photos online promised light-filled, stylish accommodations – what I walked into looked nothing like that. The room was dark, and dingy, outdated furniture that looked like it hadn’t been replaced. The lighting was so poor letting in virtually no natural light. We were brought to our room and within 10 minutes of being in the room called the front desk to let them know that the room was unacceptable and not as described. The woman said “is it because it’s too dark?” I told her the room was dark and dingy. There was a small pain window, even though this was supposed to be an ocean suite. She told me this was the last room. They had no under their abilities until our final day where they could locate the same room in a different area of the hotel. The room was not as advertised. not a luxury hotel a dark dingy room with barely a view and not somewhere I would personally want to stay in Capri for $2800 per night. We spoke with the manager who was unaccommodating and let us know He would not be refunding us, even though we would not be staying at the hotel and immediately checking out. he offered no solution. The biggest insult is the bait-and-switch advertising that bear no resemblance to reality. If you’re looking for comfort, style, or anything remotely close to luxury, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. This hotel trades on false promises and delivers a dark, dreary nightmare. What a welcome to Capri.

Had a great stay at Punta Tragara, the hotel is an iconic property on Capri, just hanging at the top of the cliff overlooking the Faraglioni and the marina piccola bay. It is a little walk from the piazzetta, however once you're settled in, the walk is part of the experience, the via tragara is caprese charm on its own. The whole team was lovely, from the lady running breakfast, to the servers at Le Monzu, a special thanks to Antonio at front desk who gave very special recommendations. The website is transparent about the views one can expect on each category and you will need to book a special suite for a guaranteed view on the Faraglioni, my room still had a lovely sea view, between the faraglioni and the marina piccola bay, the only negative was it lacked a little privacy as tourists in the belvedere were quite close, and it also lacked some soundproofing with the floor above.

The best hotel in Capri. Stunning views on the Faraglioni. The pool lounge staff is exceptional, rooms are very nicely decorated and different from all the other hotels. Monzu restaurant is good and with an excellent service. The gym is a bit small but very clean and with good Tecnogym equipment

Everything was amazing in Punta Tragara. The concierge managed to get us tables in every restaurant we requested. Room view was stunning and service was on another level. The only issue is you have to walk around 1KM (15M) to get to the city or road and there isn’t any other way.

Nestled along the picturesque Via Tragara, Hotel La Scalinatella in Capri offers a luxurious retreat with its two outdoor pools boasting stunning bay views. This intimate boutique hotel, with 33 bedrooms and classic Mediterranean decor, has been a favorite since the 1950s. The Moorish facade hides elegant rooms and suites adorned with Caprese touches like hand-painted tiles and antique furniture. Families can opt for one of the two villas available.
Hotel La Scalinatella is a true gem in Capri. Impeccable service, elegant and peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms — beautifully decorated, comfortable, and with a spectacular view. The location is excellent: close to the town center but away from the crowds. Delicious breakfast and attentive service at all times. An unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Staying here now the hotel is very beautiful with amazing views and a chic design. The pool chairs are comfortable and nice. The staff is very welcoming at the upper part of the hotel /breakfast area and front desk. Shout out to the amazing Marco and Giovanni - the best!! The service at the pool area could be better. Our particular room seemed to be updated and is very nice, although some weird quirks (ie the do not disturb doesn’t work, small shower, fan doesn’t work and steams). But lots of closet space, great balcony with seating table and lounge chairs. The bed was super comfortable as well. But the off putting part of our stay so far: my husband asked for an iron and we were told that they have a service to press clothes and couldn’t provide us with one ourselves so basically any time we want an article of clothing ironed it’s €10.
Samantha D — Google review
I was visiting Capri for the first time and booked La Scalinatella upon receiving a generous offer and couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. Service: Having stayed at countless hotels as a former consultant, I can honestly say I've never experienced service this exceptional as a regular, first-time guest. The staff-to-guest ratio felt like 3:1 - there was always someone ready to help, and their attention to detail was remarkable. Accommodations: Mr. Morgano graciously upgraded us to a suite, which was absolutely beautiful. The space was incredibly generous with two full bathrooms and spectacular ocean views that made every moment special. Breakfast: The breakfast service was excellent, particularly because they focus on fresh, made-to-order main dishes rather than a wasteful buffet setup. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Setting: It's hard to capture just how stunning this property is - the views and overall atmosphere truly make you feel like you've escaped to another world. Fair warning: it's quite a climb up, so it might be challenging for those with mobility concerns, but we found the location perfect. My only minor complaint would be the absence of in-room irons or steamers. Having to use a special pressing service that takes over an hour is inconvenient, especially during summer visits when you're dealing with lots of linens. I'll absolutely return to Scalinatella and will be recommending it enthusiastically to friends and family!
Rehab K — Google review
The hotel has lots of potential but lacked in many ways. The view was beautiful if you are at the pool but don’t expect every room to have the view. The rooms bathroom are renovated a bit but still not a 4/5 star level. There was smell (mildew to be exact) in our room and this disrupted our stay. There was poor level of attention to our complaint. The attitude was pretty much - we don’t smell anything and if you are not happy you can find another place. I have never been in such a situation where we paid a hotel $100 to bring our luggage up to the hotel- (which took 2 hours to come up) and waited 1 hour to check in and in end was told that we can’t help you because we are full. It was the take it or leave it attitude that was unkind. We were only there for 48 hours and so decided to make the best of the situation. We opted to enjoy the island and the restaurant around. We paid over $1600 per night for 2 rooms. Not worth the stay. Lesson learned - plan ahead and don’t make mistakes because you could be stuck on an island without another reservation, ways to move your luggage and unable to enjoy 1/2 day. I Don’t recommend for people with children or limited mobility - not easy to get to hotel.
D W — Google review
Look no further if you’re looking for a next level 5 star experience. Luigi and the entire team here at Scalinatella are here to make sure you are taken care of during your stay here in Capri. Hospitality at its finest if you’re staying here definitely have them help you plan and reserve your dining or any excursions you would like to experience. It’s a perfect location on the island as well.

I can’t say enough about how incredible this place is! The staff is over 5 stars, as they are there to help with whatever you need, it’s like they are one step ahead on service at all times and make you feel right at home. I got cold at lunch and they put a blanket around me to keep me warm, that’s 5 stars. The owner kindly greeted us as he was on the property. Our room was immaculate, so clean and updated. The turn down service is 5 star. The food is so delicious! Honestly we both could go on and on about this place but everyone should see it for themselves because it is truly a gem in Capri with wonderful people who care about you and your stay. Thank you so much for accommodating us, we cannot wait to come back and see you all again!

We spent a few days here and really enjoyed our stay. The property is magnificent, with a beautiful garden where you can truly relax, and the cocktails are excellent – definitely worth trying. The island is as stunning as we remembered, full of charm and atmosphere. The staff deserve special mention: the bar team and the housekeeping ladies were always smiling, kind, and incredibly helpful. The rooms are comfortable, well-kept, and we had a lovely view which made waking up every morning a pleasure. The spa has a vintage charm – not the newest facilities, but very relaxing. I had a manicure that was well done, though it took almost two hours as the therapist was a bit too talkative and slow. That said, the end result was good. Overall, we were very satisfied and left with great memories. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back

Villa Marina Capri has the most amazing staff that truly knows how to welcome guests and make them feel special. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm staff, who seemed happy to have us at their resort. As soon as we checked in, we were given a tour of the campus and all of the amenities. This was such a unique experience, because we have been to numerous resorts where you’re handed your keys and given a map to where you can find things. No one has ever taken the time to walk us through and guide us through their location. Upon arriving to our room, we had a hand written welcome letter to thank us for choosing them for our visit and 15 year anniversary celebration. Amazing first impression. As for our room, everything was clean, organized, and very elegantly decorated. The views from the balcony are incredible and highlight the beauty of the island of Capri. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to make yourself at home and relax. We also had dinner at Ziqu and the staff was very attentive to our needs and made sure that we had a wonderful dining experience. They even accommodated a special request by sending our food to our room because we unfortunately had to end dinner early. Before we arrived to our room, our dinner was nicely plated and awaiting our arrival. To add the the extraordinary service, we had communication with the concierge staff via what’s app and it was like having a personal assistant and guide of the island. All of their recommendations were fantastic, all of our transportation was arranged, and they made the our time in Capri extremely enjoyable. They sent us to Godò Capri for drinks, and that bar also hit the spot. It’s incredible how they are able to marry this ancient island with modern and elegant designs. The bar tenders were familiar with the staff from Villa Capri and they mirrored the same fantastic service as our hotel staff. In addition, the bar staff at Villa Marina was excellent as well. They had two young gentlemen who represented the hotel well. They served great drinks, gave us insight into the island and nightlife and made us feel welcomed just like the front office staff. Lastly, we had transport arranged with the hotel prior to arrival, and before departure. The transport staff was no exception to the excellent service that Villa Marina strives to achieve. Our driver was kind, helpful, and like everyone else, very insightful about the island and its lifestyle. Overall, Villa Marina Capri has been our most memorable experience in ALL of our travels. We have never been made to feel so special and welcomed and would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Capri to stay on this beautiful campus.

Villa Marina in Capri is a magical place with a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. As lovers of flavors, we were immediately impressed by the cocktails—Gianluca crafted them based on our preferences and tastes, sharing the story behind each one. Upon arrival, we were also greeted by amazing scents and the aroma of Capri lemons. Even my usually hard-to-please wife was delighted. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, a perfect base to enjoy the island. The garden is stunning, and the aperitifs and cocktails were a real treat. The rest of our stay was also very enjoyable—the rooms and the island’s restaurants we visited were all great. We are “massage addicts,” having tried many over the years, so we know what makes a great experience. The spa was the highlight. Matteo guided us in choosing the perfect massage, which was absolutely top-notch. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was evident in every step. Some of the ingredients from our cocktails, were incorporated into the treatments, adding an extra layer of sensory delight that engaged both body and mind. , expertise and passion make all the difference ,something you can really feel. We will definitely be back. The island is breathtaking, and thank you for the incredible sensory experience!

With its modern interiors adorned with white hues and vibrant tiled floors, Luna Hotel captivates visitors not only with its aesthetic but also with its lush gardens and expansive outdoor pool that provide breathtaking views of the iconic Faraglioni rocks.
I just went on honeymoon to Capri and we loved Hotel Luna! The location has an amazing view of the Faraglioni, especially with the deluxe rooms, and it was nice to be tucked away just a short walk from town. The rooms were nice and had stylish tiling. We arrived in Capri before check-in and this allowed us to explore Capri without dragging our bags across the hilly landscape and rough roads. Additionally, the same service is available when you need to leave, leaving you the freedom to explore without worrying about your baggage. My wife and I stayed in the standard room and it was furnished far beyond our expectations. Everything was very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to eat, look no further than the Luna Rooftop Restaurant. We had some of the best seafood and service, and a view of the sea to top it off. While at dinner, the room keeping made our bedroom up! Lastly, you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast with the same great service as dinner. The breakfast includes fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, yogurt, granola, pastries, charcuterie meats and cheeses, breakfast meats, and more. Don't worry, you can also order an espresso beverage or two as well (cappuccino is a must-have). The front desk was also very accommodating, speaking very good English and Italian, of course. Overall, the Luna Hotel was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at during our trip to Italy. I hope that this review finds you well so that you can also enjoy one of the best hotels that Italy has to offer!

They have a very low presence on social media so we were a bit skeptical while booking our stay here but what can i say, it felt like we found the best place to stay in Capri. The rooms are great with amazing view of the faraglioni rocks. The staff and service is also great and everyone is very friendly. It is only 5-10 minute walk from the main capri square at the top. They also have a decent sized swimming pool and it is perfect for spending your mornings. We cannot wait to come back again.

I liked La Luna hotel. However, I was disappointed by a few things. Pros: The location is absolutely perfect. It is right next to the center of town with all of the high end shopping, but it is slightly tucked away so you feel like you are out of the hustle and bustle as soon as your step on the property. The views are gorgeous, especially from the sea front rooms- you have a front and center view of the Faraglioni rocks. We had a garden view room, and we could still see the sea and the rocks over to our right, which was nice. The rooftop bar is a very nice place to get a drink. The pool area is beautiful. Cons: The service was underwhelming. - This was our first time on Capri, so we didn't know about the logistics of arrival, how to use the funicular, and transport bags. The port of Capri is absolute madness. I thought it would be easy to just catch a cab, but the line was at least 100 people long. When I called the hotel to ask what to do, the person over the phone was not very helpful. Additionally, nowhere on their website or on my confirmation email did it give instructions as to how to get to the hotel. We eventually figured out how to use the funicular (pro tip: you actually have to wait in line to buy tickets, and then wait in a DIFFERENT line to get on the funicular, and it is not easy to do this with big bags because there are some steep steps at the end). It would be nice if they helped make the arrival process more seamless, or at least provided instructions. - Another issue was our check out. We were supposed to leave on a Friday, but we noticed looking at the weather that the wind speeds were going to be very high, so we were worried about our ferry back to Sorrento that day. On Thursday morning, we asked the front desk if they thought the ferries would be cancelled on Friday, and they said that most likely they would be cancelled. Because we did not want to miss our flight, we checked out of the hotel early on Thursday to get back to Sorrento before the high winds. This was the right decision, because they did end up cancelling all of the ferries on Friday. They would not refund us for the Thursday night when we did not stay over. Also, I don't think that they would have informed the hotel guests that the ferries would be cancelled if we had not asked them, and we would have been stuck in Capri another night and missed our flight, so I though that was a bit unprofessional. I think there should be a policy where hotel guests are warned about the potential for inclement weather affecting their travel plans. Our hotel in Positano was very proactive about warning us about storms and helping us make alternative travel arrangements, which Luna did not do. - The rooms are nice, but not 4 star hotel nice. I think they need an update. - The restaurant was just okay. All in all, I would consider staying here again if I came back to Capri, but I would rank this more of a 3 star than a 4 star hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and I really think it's great place to stay to experience Capri. The view from the oceanside of the hotel is really excellent. It's very quiet and serene with a lot of green space. By far my favorite staff/customer service experience of any place we stayed in Greece or Italy during our long honeymoon. This place has warmth and charm that is not seen or experienced anywhere else. It's really a perfect location on the island as well. It's also worth mentioning that the breakfast experience, the pool, and the nearby spaces to walk around/explore were all really excellent.

Excellent location, great service, will pick your bags and drop them off at port for you. Pool is big and nice. Rooftop bar has a great view of the water/rocks. Rooms were bigger than it seemed in the pics. Bathroom was spacious too. Our garden balcony had a partial view of the ocean. I really can’t criticize anything. Great value for money too.

Stayed 5 nights last June. The staff was fantastic. The waiters in the restaurants were so kind to me. The desk attendants were very helpful with recommendations for dining and hikes. I loved eating lunch by the pool and the way the waiters would remember my wine order. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I will be back.

I’m very disappointed that I can’t recommend this hotel. While the location is spectacular and the views are very special, my compliments end there. The staff was not welcoming or friendly in comparison to what we experienced at other properties in Italy, our room had several issues, and we were not given the level of service I’d expect for a hotel with such a price point. We weren’t greeted, told about the hotel, given a basic tour or telling of the property. Our elevator key didn’t work, nor did our phone, so ordering room service meant physically going down to the restaurant to place an order which completely defeats the purpose. The concierge didn’t respond to emails and I didn’t feel like I had any help on what to do or where to dine on the island. If we ever return to Capri, I’d gladly stay somewhere more boutique and expensive to feel like we are welcomed guests and not a nuisance.

The hotel offers bright and air-conditioned rooms and suites with unique floors, some featuring balconies or terraces overlooking the rooftops of Capri or the hotel's garden. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Gatto Bianco !! We will be back…. Our room was very nice, the bed was comfortable. The staff was so helpful, even with all the questions we had. Its location was perfect. The Hotel is so close to amazing shopping. Capri has such vibrant walking views and delicious gelato. The hotel was nearby great restaurants with spectacular views. Breakfast was very nice with options between eggs, cereal and sandwiches. The pastries are delicious. Having a Spa so close was appreciated, especially with hotel discount. I only wish it had a pool.

This beautiful hotel is right in the centre of Capri. 150m from La Piazzetta and on the main commercial street of the isle, despite that it is a quiet spot. Customer service is the very best. Everybody in the hotel is nice, helpful and makes you feel comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with homemade cakes and much more. Their tangerine jam is delicious. I had an amazing holiday there. I am looking forward to go back again

I had an incredible stay at Gatto Bianco in Capri, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable, always ready with a smile and helpful suggestions for exploring the beautiful island. The staff's genuine hospitality made me feel like a valued guest throughout my visit. They took the time to ensure all my needs were met, whether it was recommending local restaurants, arranging transportation, or simply checking in to see how I was doing. The hotel itself is charming, well-maintained, and perfectly located for exploring Capri, but it's really the staff that made the experience truly special. I can't wait to return and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, friendly, and attentive hospitality experience!

This place was perfect for us, and the staff was very warm and inviting. It is not the fanciest, but tasteful and we lived the quirky details. The breakfast was very pleasant, and the waitress was friendly and brought us cappuchinos right away. You cant do better than the location which is central of where you want to be in Capri. Not too far from what I call millionaire's mile (aka all the gucci, prada, dolce stores). If you are looking for the most expensive and bougie hotel, this is not the one for you... However if you are humble and want to stay in a nice, central hotel with great staff... stay here!

The well located, well priced, unassuming, charming and somewhat hidden Gatto Bianco turns out to be T.H.E. hotel where the whole first Capri movie star/jet set vibe was created almost as soon as it was built and opened in 1947 as the only real hotel on the island. Immediately, film crews arrived, and into the Gatto Bianco came Sophia Loren, Clark Gable, Bridget Bardot, the Prince of Wales (later the abdicated king), the Shah of Persia, and on into the 60s with Jackie O and O himself, along with the rest of the oversized sunglasses crowd.  The plain door in the photo was Jackie's suite, when she raced away from the paparazzi and entered the hotel through a secret entrance and up into her suite. There are other grander hotels now, but none with that decades-long history of movie stars - who continued to stay there for decades and as far as I know, may still. It's still sparkling white, super comfortable, airy and pretty, with cool, cheerful tiles throughout, multiple shady and sunny secluded terraces, and Capri blue easy chairs here and there if you want to take time out from the sun and teeming hoards of tourists with a good book. Kind, knowledgeable and friendly staff (it's still owned and very much run by original family), ready to help with luggage or advice. And the elusive eponymous cat, whom I thought must be dead, did finally slither through. Can't recommend highly enough. Magical.

Luxury Villa Excelsior Park is an upscale hotel in Capri, Italy, offering chic rooms with balconies and sea views. The Art-Nouveau hotel features a restaurant, piano bar, and free shuttle service from Marina Grande port. Guests can enjoy two hot tubs with panoramic views and a rooftop garden. The Mediterranean-style rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. Some rooms offer hot tubs or sea-view terraces.
This has to be one of the best 5 star hotel experiences we have ever had. As soon as we arrived at the port in Capri, the hotel had a gentleman to greet us at the boat and help with our luggage. We were then driven to the hotel and were offered a drink of our choice (most 5 star hotels these days offer a glass of cheap prosecco, beer or orange juice). We sat with Emmanuel who gave us a 20 minute summary of Capri and the great things the island offers. What was great was that Emmanuel was a local and born in Capri so all his recommendations and suggestions were spot on. The hotel is a boutique with 11 rooms but the service was just amazing. The friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Breakfast was great and you order the food you want rather than walking up to a buffet where the food never tends to be freshly cooked. The hotel also offers a free taxi shuttle service which is a godsend as taxies in Capri are expensive with a min fare of 25 euros for any journey. They even offered us complimentary drinks when we came back early one evening from our meal and helped book our ferry back to the mainland. All I can say is well done to the hotel owner is well done for creating a great hotel experience. We will return one day and stay here again.

Gaya went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was always kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about every detail of my stay. Her warm personality and professionalism made me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. Thanks to her and the rest of the team, my time at the hotel was seamless and memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-quality service and a truly enjoyable stay.

Nestled slightly above the port, this boutique villa offers breathtaking views, excellent service, and a tranquil atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a private oasis. Many have private terraces with sea views – perfect for a quiet morning coffee or sunset aperitif. Service is outstanding: warm, helpful, and personal. The team goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable – from personalized island tips to private transfers and dinner reservations. Breakfast is served on a sun-drenched terrace with fresh local products, tasty pastries, and made-to-order options. It feels more like a private villa than a hotel, with the service and quality of a five-star stay. If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and authentically Capri experience, Excelsior Park is simply superb. I would return in a heartbeat.

This was our big extravagence for our trip to Italy and they certainly delivered. Beautiful property, and the staff was perfectly attentive. The location is beautiful with amazing views. Capri is a little hard to get around on but the hotel will shuttle you to taxi or ferry locations where you can move on to whatever part of the island you are looking for. The hotel breakfast is amazing and a really positive start to the day. If you want elegance and service, Excelsior Parco will deliver.

Truly the best hospitality experience of our lives—without any exaggeration! I stayed with my partner for three days at this hotel, and I have never encountered a more polite, always-smiling, and genuinely helpful staff. Mario explains every detail and assists you with anything you may need. The whole property is simply stunning, as it used to be a private residence built in 1906. It is impeccably maintained and takes you back in time, immersing you in the refined elegance of Capri. They also provide free transfers both to the port and to the city center as many times a day as you need. They truly made our holiday unforgettable

I can only say tremendously positive things about the Excelsior. The staff is one of the most attentive and helpful that I have been around. They literally take care of all of your needs, we're extremely helpful and made our visit to Capri for five days a great experience with the balance of relaxation and activities, all of which they planned with us. The rooms are decorated to perfection and are extremely comfortable with a hot tub just outside of the room. The food was excellent as each morning we woke up to a great breakfast. As we are Americans, the staff all knew English and were able to communicate with us with no barriers whatsoever. Think of a small version of the White Lotus with all of the charm and beauty without the drama. Emmanuel was our main contact and he was incredibly helpful but all the staff there were tremendous. I would definitely stay there again when we next visit Capri as they do have returning clientele and I can understand why. The tone of the staff is clearly set by its owner, who was there the first day we arrived and offered us a place to sit by the pool. She then offered us when we ate lunch to take the seats that she had occupied. This level of service by the owner of the establishment is clearly why the Excelsior is so will run as the staff clearly follows the lead of the hotels owner. The location, grounds and room were all well maintained and matched the beauty of the island of Capri. But it's really the staff at the Excelsior who made the experience a lifetime family memory for us.

The hotel features an outdoor pool, bar, free Wi-Fi, and a private garden. Its unique architecture showcases the beauty of Capri Island with arches, vaults, stuccoes, and marbles.
We loved our stay at Hotel Mamela. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and walk in closet. The hotel has a beautiful updated pool area and breakfast area. The staff were attentive and helpful. I could easily see Mamela being a 5 star hotel rather than 4.

My family has always loved staying at Hotel Mamela, and twenty years later, the current generation who works there is just as stellar. The rooms make you feel like you are a movie star. Special mention to Francesco for arranging a beautiful tour of the Blue Grotto for us and helping us choose a once-in-a-lifetime dinner! Capri's Best Luxury Hotel. I've stayed in many boutique hotels around Europe, particularly in Italy. It can be hard to find a truly special hotel, but Hotel Mamela is a perfect example of that special place to stay in Capri. To me, it's the perfect balance between luxury, location, and comfort. It’s just a 5-minute walk on a charming, tree-lined lane from Capri’s main, lively piazza. The hotel’s design and overall vibe is chic, warm, and inviting, with lots of beautiful, comfortable, indoor and indoor spaces to relax or celebrate special occasions. The views of the famous Capri Faraglioni rocks and the sea are incredible — especially from the lounge-restaurant-pool deck and many of the rooms. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, immaculate and comfortable. The hotel management has clearly taken time to consider what guests may need, further enhancing my stay. Breakfast with gorgeous views provided a delicious variety of food for any traveler's taste, or dietary needs. The final feature that puts it into the top for me, is the hotel staff. Everyone was warm, professional, and went above and beyond. You can tell they care about creating a special experience for guests. A special thanks to Rosie! 🥰 In conclusion, if you're visiting Capri and want a luxurious, yet down-to-earth place to stay, this is it. 👍 A few travel tips for Capri: 1. If you want to explore Capri town upon arrival: use luggage porters! The hotel can also arrange this. It's reasonably priced, and totally worth it. 2. If you're going directly to your hotel, a taxi is a very good option. They are located near the luggage porter area.

Nice and clean, but poor communication and unresolved issues The hotel was nice and clean, and overall the facilities were well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, there were several issues that made my stay frustrating. The air conditioning in my room was not working properly, and I was unable to sleep because of the heat. Although staff members came in multiple times, the problem was never resolved, and there was a lack of clear communication or follow-up. Additionally, while the hotel offers transportation, the drop-off point was about an 11-minute walk from the actual property with no signage or directions provided. If it weren’t for Google Maps, I would have been wandering around the island trying to find the hotel. These experiences really took away from what could have been a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Stayed at Hotel Mamela this summer, what looked to be an amazing property was a disappointing experience. During the trip the A/C in the room was not functional, the staff continued lies about the repair status, so we went entire trip with no A/C in a room that was over $1k/night. The two ladies at the front desk were very rude when I had asked to kindly speak to the manager (Francesco Gentile). For the broken A/C, after asking multiple times on the status we were finally provided a plug in fan. The room plugs didn't work, after asking the third time for maintenance staff to come take a look, the guy finally showed. He came in and yelled at me in Italian that the plug doesnt work and never returned. At the end of our trip Francesco apologized for the issues (there were multiple) and offered a partial reimbursement for the issues. Two months have since passed and they have not provided any reimbursement. The staff continues along with Francesco to make excuses and dodge email and any calls related to the issues. This was our engagement trip and was very frustrated with the staff's and management's handling of the situation. What is a beautiful property was tainted by the staff's handling of the many issues.

I just got back from a one week stay at this glorious hotel. Everything was wonderful about this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, the food was good, the pool was good, the staff was good. The reason I gave this a 4 store was because of one particular member of the front desk team, Alexandro. He was extremely incompetent in every way. One example, I was having a dress delivered to the hotel (most hotels leave items in your room, but they do not). When I came in at end of day (they delivered in the morning), I asked if it had been delivered. He said no. I asked him to double check as it was supposed to. He briefly did and said no. I had to go all the way back to the store, have them call the hotel and confirm they delivered it in the morning with the hotel, then walk back to the hotel only for him to say he still didn't know. One of the women at the desk interrupted and said yes it was there (and literally right behind where he was standing). He never once apologized for wasting our time etc. Another example, we checked out and gave him our key before we left. We got a message shortly from someone else at the front desk after asking if we had left the key. We said yes and told them we left it with him. I have many more examples but bottom line, he should not be working there as he does not know what he is doing. Secondly, we asked the concierge to help us make several reservations for dinner, beach clubs etc. They could not get us any. We ended up getting our own. Also, one of the other hotel concierge actually helped us get into one we wanted. I don't think they have any pull anywhere which does not help if you want to get in anywhere in Capri. BUT, I would definitely stay there again, I would just avoid Alexandro and make my own reservations as the hotel itself is definitely lovely.

Located almost in the heart of Capri (10-15 min walk to the main square of the island), the hotel offers amazing views to the sea, Italian hospitality and unique garden area with lemon trees, grapes and greenery. Rafael and Elena were kind enough to support us with facilitating a boat trip around the island and advised many nice restaurants and spots to visit (including other part of the island called Anacapri). Delicious breakfasts with good choice of omelettes. Friendly and attentive staff, excellent service. Will come back for sure to this incredible place❤️

A special thanks to Raffaele, the wonderful owner, who went out of his way to make us feel at home. He shared incredible local tips, from charming restaurants to the best gelato spots and hidden gems on the island. His passion for Capri and genuine care for his guests made all the difference. They also offer an amazing Caprese salad with fresh ingredients from their garden that my wife says is her absolute favourite. What really sets this place apart is the love and care the family pours into every part of your stay. It is rather small, but has the perfect location in just a few steps away from the main shopping street and Piazetta which makes it perfect for us. The pool is great as well and the restaurant has very delicious food and great wine selection. I highly recommend this hotel.

There are not enough good things I can say about Hotel Canasta. They hosted my entire wedding party and were extremely friendly, accommodating, and understanding. Excellent service, great, clean, simple rooms. Wonderful upstairs balcony. Amazing place to stay/ house friends and family at a very fair price.

I had a two-day stay with them. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. I liked everything. I thank them especially the receptionist Alberto and the employee working in the restaurant Mahdi. He was helpful and cheerful. I have only one criticism. On our second day, we were planning to have dinner at the hotel overlooking the view. The restaurant manager received us and told us that the restaurant is booked and we cannot receive you. I was asked to leave. To another hotel for dinner. I do not pay a high amount for a hotel that prevents me from sitting and enjoying the rain and eating the meal, especially since you are a hotel guest. The first priority is always for the hotel residents and not very passers-by. This thing bothered me. The breakfast meal is wonderful and I asked for eggs and they did not hesitate to provide them to me. I thank Alberto and Mahdi.

My absolute favorite hotel in Capri. I feel at home there. I love the staff, the hotel is extremely clean, the maids clean your room a few times a day. Family owned place with a great pool and beautiful rooms.

We stayed at Hotel Canasta to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we loved it! It’s quiet and tucked away but close to everything in Capri. The staff is so wonderful and personable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great little patio with a view. I really liked the breakfast, a nice combo of sweet and savory options and coffee service. We also found the price extremely reasonable compared to other options in Capri. We’d love to go back!

I stayed at this stunning hotel with an excellent location, just a few minutes from the city center and close to the Gardens of Augustus. The service was outstanding, and the hotel itself was beautiful. They even offer a 10% discount at the Villa Margherita restaurant. However, I found the breakfast to be somewhat limited.

Hotel Villa Sarah is a charming retreat nestled in the serene surroundings of Capri, just a short stroll from the island's renowned Piazzetta square. The hotel boasts a tranquil atmosphere with comfortable rooms and offers an outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage. Guests can enjoy a delightful breakfast, unwind at the bar/lounge, and explore the lush fruit and vegetable garden on the property. With its traditional architecture and rustic appeal, this hotel provides an authentic Italian experience.
We really enjoyed our stay here; the grounds were beautiful, the kids loved the pool. The hotel had nice touches like they would grow their own fruits and would provide fresh squeezed juices. The breakfast area was really nice it would look out to the pool and garden. Location was not in the main path but it was a 10 minute beautiful walk to the central square.

Lovely hotel - quaint, nice pool. Rooms were clean, nice toiletries and plenty of towels. Shower lacked water pressure. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive, continental breakfast excellent. Only disadvantage is it’s up a steep hill which is hard work with luggage! Would recommend

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Villa Sarah, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Capri. This charming boutique hotel exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is set in a peaceful location, just a 10-minute stroll from the Piazzetta, 2 minutes from a local supermarket, and only 1 minute from a cozy neighborhood restaurant. It’s the perfect base for exploring the island, yet tucked away enough to feel like a serene escape. The rooms are simple, elegant, and spotless. The gardens and pool area are absolutely beautiful—lush, relaxing, and well-maintained, with a jacuzzi to unwind in after a long day of exploring. We especially enjoyed the afternoon drinks and snacks offered poolside, which added a lovely touch of luxury to our stay. Breakfast was included and always fresh and satisfying—ideal for starting the day right. What truly sets Hotel Villa Sarah apart is the warmth and hospitality of the owner. He genuinely makes every guest feel like family, going out of his way to ensure you feel welcome and cared for. And the price? Unbelievable. We paid just 4800 SEK for 4 nights, which is almost unheard of for Capri. For this level of comfort, service, and location, it’s easily one of the best values on the island. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Capri without breaking the bank. We can’t wait to return

We booked this hotel for the weekend of July 4th–6th and were shocked when they canceled our prepaid reservation just 12 hours before check-in. Instead of our reserved room, they tried to relocate us to a 2-star hotel—a major downgrade. At that point, almost all hotels in Capri were charging around 900€ per night, making it nearly impossible to find anywhere else to stay. The whole experience was a nightmare and completely ruined our planned vacation. To make matters worse, when I tried to post this review along with a screenshot as proof, they flagged my photo as containing "private information" to have the review removed, so I can’t show the entire conversation here. If you want a stress-free and enjoyable trip to Capri, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The view is just breathtaking. The family that runs the place is incredibly kind and sweet—I honestly loved them. However, the location is very difficult to reach and quite exhausting to get to.

I booked a 2 night stay at the property. However around an hour later I discovered I had a visa issue which meant I had to immediately return the US. I contacted the property to request a cancelation which they denied. They claimed that it was Booking.com's policy not to allow refunds. However that is not true which Booking.com confirmed to me. I then called them and they re-iterated their intention not to refund me and put the phone down. After repeated attempts to resolve the issue with them they continued to refuse to provide any refund. They then threatened me with legal action if I posted about this experience.

Hotel Orsa Maggiore is a refined boutique hotel nestled on the slopes of Monte Solaro, just a short walk from the serene town of Anacapri. With its polished rooms, many offering sea views and small terraces, this intimate hotel provides a tranquil escape from the hustle of Capri Town. Conveniently located for exploring nearby attractions such as the Blue Grotto and Villa San Michele, the hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service for island exploration.
While the whole wonderful experience is still fresh in our minds, we want to say, how much we enjoyed our 3 night stay at Orsa Maggiore, a small, luxury boutique hotel in Anacapri. The hospitality can only be described as second to none. Right from the time we disembarked from the ferry and were met by Luigi, who skillfully navigated the narrow, tight, winding road upwards to Anacapri and back at the end of our stay; the peaceful, seamlessly 'nothing is a problem' hospitality began. It was in this vein, it continued, from the tasteful, comfortable rooms (ours had a terrazzo with breathtaking views), to the generous breakfasts, taken in the charming breakfast room with a balmy indoor, outdoor flow to the delicious lunches served by the pool, again in balmy, semi-tropical surrounds; this hotel, their ever-helpful staff, from reception to the friendly cleaning personnel, to wonderful Franco who managed to be everywhere and right there when the occasion called, especially lunchtime and always with a smile; took customer service to a standard rarely seen today but appreciated beyond words, when it happens. We couldn't recommend this hotel more highly, it delivers on everything.

If you’re looking for a quiet, super comfortable retreat on the island of Capri, the place to be is the Orsa Maggiore Hotel. Away from the chaos and noise of Capri town and just a short distance from the Old town center of Anacapri, Orsa Maggiore Is a secluded sanctuary with lovely grounds and facilities, amazing views, great service, comfortable, quiet rooms, thoughtful amenities, and a warm, friendly team to take care of your every need. Luigi was always eager to transport us around the island whenever we needed to go somewhere… Franco and Daniele were always ready to serve us at breakfast and at the restaurant next to the pool throughout the day…Gianpaolo warmly took care of us at the reception area every night… Luisa and Sylvia were enthusiastic front desk team members who helped us schedule boat trips, restaurant reservations, answer all of our questions regarding different sightseeing opportunities, and were always there to take care of us… We look forward to our return visit to Orsa Maggiore… On this trip, we stayed for four nights… Next time, we will stay for a week, at least😁

The hotel has a nice and warm feel to it. Boutique style with only 14 rooms, staff and team are attentive. Franco is the star of the staff for me - friendly, not intrusive, goes over and above to help and always with a smile. Everyone else seem happy and engaging. The pool is very nice (cold a first). Not a huge pool but big enough for the crowd. Breakfast simple with plenty of choices and some add ons if you want made to order omelets, etc. The lunch choices are nice and they are also very accommodating to make something off the lunch menu - like a simple sandwich to satisfy your palate. Thanks Franco for the Napoli salami. They are very open to feedback, for example there was some confusion on the cost of drinks, and they quickly adopted to a suggestion for signing a ticket to acknowledge what you ordered, thus eliminates any questions at the end of your stay about what you had or maybe didn’t have. They provided nice a. selection of restaurants & tours. Very accommodating for use of the shuttle when it was available. Overall a pleasant stay so far - clean, tidy and relaxing. I would recommend if you are looking to chill out and relax. Easy access to Anacapri restaurants and shopping.

What an absolute gem. They have (I think) recently refurbished the hotel so photos do not do justice at how nice the rooms and amenities are. Pool is fantastic, insane view and so is the hotel restaurant food (they only serve lunch) was INCREDIBLE. Service from all the staff is just five stars (wish I could give more!!). Everyone’s so lovely and helpful and the free shuttle form the hotel made it easy to get across the island. We will definitely be coming back. What a wonderful memory and stay!!

Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The service was unmatched. Everyone working here was so nice, fun and so helpful. The walk to Anacapri is short and beautiful, but the hotel can also call you a transfer. The bus stop is very close, too! I can’t say enough about the staff. We were in Capri for a wedding which was small and off-site. Upon arrival, I provided the wedding itinerary and the staff made sure our transfers were booked for the upcoming days. They really made it feel like home to us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Orsa Maggiore to anyone who asks!

We chose Casa Mariantonia for our wedding and it was hands down the best decision we made for our special day. This place is truly amazing - the historic charm and intimate atmosphere was perfect for our celebration. What really set this experience apart was the exceptional staff. From the initial planning stages through the day of our wedding, they were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for making our day special was evident in every interaction. The venue itself has such a unique character - you can feel the history and warmth that has been welcoming guests for over a century. The family-style hospitality that Casa Mariantonia is known for made our guests feel like they were part of something truly special. Our entire family stayed at the hotel and the rooms were fantastic - comfortable, charming, and perfectly maintained. And we absolutely have to mention La Zagara restaurant - the food was incredible! Honestly, some of the best dining we experienced on all of Capri. The combination of exceptional cuisine and the intimate setting made every meal memorable. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines historic charm, stunning ambiance, and a staff that will treat your celebration like it’s their own family event, Casa Mariantonia is absolutely the place. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Highly recommend for weddings and special events - they truly know how to make magical moments happen!

Casa Mariantonia, Anacapri The hotel is centrally located with a beautiful view, a lovely pool in the courtyard, and a restaurant surrounded by lemon and cherry tomato gardens that give it a very special atmosphere. We stayed in a suite, and the view from it was one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. The suite was large, spacious, and had everything we needed, including a bathtub. We enjoyed every moment in this unique room with its huge terrace overlooking a stunning sunset. On our first night, there was no hot water. We were told it couldn’t be fixed that evening, but it was handled the next day. However, no compensation was offered — not even a drink or dinner at the restaurant, which other guests usually receive upon arrival. In other hotels where similar things happened, management always tried to make up for it, and that’s why I usually give five stars. This time, I’ll give four — as not being able to shower after a long day of travel was really unpleasant. That said, everything else was truly wonderful. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant is charming, and breakfast is served à la carte rather than as a buffet, which gives a sense of luxury and exclusivity. We definitely recommend this hotel.

July 2025 stayed for 7 days then two days. Family owned for several generations….very kind and flexible…they stored my bags for several hours and let me check out a little later. Food here is top notch…restaurant for lunch and dinner is where the locals who live and work here go for charming ambience. Pool and views from second floor are vintage Italian. Air conditioner very good…often an issue here in Italy but not this hotel. Only suggestion is to consider assessing your own taxi from ferry to area near hotel as there appears to be a local “monopoly” and negotiations directly have resulted in more favorable rates. Otherwise..fully recommend.

Casa Morgano (5*) and Scalinatella (5*L) are now „one big family!“ So even if you booked Casa Morgano you can use everything within the two hotels! All was fine in a beautiful place with excellent staff … and I can not agree on the price politic like they have for the bar. For me it is a joke! In a really good bar or hotel in Hamburg you pay nearly 50 - 60% of that prices …. So 4 normal cocktails with tip for € 100.- is far from everything … also on Capri and even if „everybody“ is doing here so! Fair … is different. BTW: Sustainabilty with e. g. towels and bed linen could be better on request.

It was several years since we stayed at this hotel. The location was spectacular. Our room was a bit disappointing. Quite dark and some noisy pump equipment outside. We enjoyed our stay despite the few issues with the room. Probably overpriced for the amenities on offer. But hey, it is Capris!

We stayed at Casa Morgano for 2 nights during our baby-moon to Capri. PROs: *the service was impeccable and the hotel arranged anything you might need from ferry tickets, luggage transfer, etc., *amazing Jacuzzi tub in the junior suite that with great bubbles and hot water *great area that is not too far off the path but far enough the be quiet and avoid all the crazy tourist areas CONs: *no working AC in the room. The staff let us know that since it was not the high season and temperatures weren't be that high during the day/night we were unable to use the AC. The room is very well insulated and was much hotter than we expected so we ended up having to sleep with the door open all night to feel some fresh/cool air. *the beds were not very comfortable for a 5 star hotel Overall we enjoyed our stay but definitely wouldn't classify the hotel as 5 star based on American/US standards (more likely around the 4 star mark!)

Very impressed. Very good service, Vincenzo in particular, great view, quiet, not crowded. To note dinner is not served in the evening and you are encouraged to seek our a local restaurant of which there are many, however a small selection of room service meals are available. Breakfast is a simple buffet on the patio to enjoy the view. Casa Morgano is in the walking only area of Capri so you either need to arrange for your bags to be picked up at the port or you’ll be rolling them through the village like we did! Still a wonderful stay.

Nestled in the serene countryside of Capri, Da Gelsomina - Ristorante offers a tranquil escape from the tourist hotspots. The restaurant is renowned for its authentic cuisine and warm hospitality, which has been upheld by the same family for generations. Set amidst terraces adorned with vines and vegetable gardens, it provides a picturesque setting to savor delectable dishes crafted from garden-fresh produce. Guests can also enjoy wine produced from the family's vineyard nearby.
A Hidden Gem in Capri – Authentic, Peaceful, and Unforgettable Our experience at Da Gelsomina was one of the unexpected highlights of our trip to Capri. Tucked away in a more authentic and peaceful part of the island, this charming restaurant offers not only delicious food, but also a serene atmosphere far from the usual crowds. The setting is truly special — our table overlooked beautiful vineyards with sweeping views that instantly made us feel connected to the natural beauty of Capri. The staff and Pasquale were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even shared a tip about a nearby secret lookout point. We followed their advice and were rewarded with what was easily the best view on the entire island. If you're looking to escape the tourist-packed areas and enjoy a genuine, tranquil Capri dining experience, Da Gelsomina is a must. We can’t wait to return!

We had a fabulous meal at this secluded restaurant on the south of the island. They provide a shuttle service from the centre of anacapri so getting there is not an issue. It boasts fantastic views of the sunset which was truly breathtaking. The service and food was second to none and you can see how they are recommended in the Michelin guide. Unable to rate the rooms as we did not stay there but if the restaurant is anything to go on then they would probably be 5 stars too. Incredible meal.

We came here during a day trip to Capri - it was a bit of a mission for us to get there and back from the dock but they do put on a shuttle to the middle of Anacapri and they can’t control the awful traffic! Food was pleasant especially the pomodores and buffalo mozzarella and service was friendly. Add on a little stroll to the viewing point just down from the restaurant

Amazing dinner spot! We had a lovely view of the sunset while eating dinner. This was by far our favorite restaurant during our stay in Capri! We didn’t stay in the Airbnb but it looked cute from the outside. We were shuttled up to the restaurant, be warned the ride is bumpy but it beats walking by foot! The staff was very attentive and helpful throughout the entire dinner. The view was absolutely stunning and made for great pics. Sad to say I forgot the name of the pasta dish I had but it was an excellent spicy garlicky spaghetti, this was the highlight of our dinner. Definitely don’t miss out of this restaurant, make sure to get a reservation in advance!

We only came here for dinner The food was delicious, the service was very good and attentive. Complimented with the incredible views the experience was overall really nice. The food was nothing extraordinary but at the same time hit the spot. Plenty of choices, and reasonably priced. The scenery and sunsets incredible. The most exciting part of the experience is the shuttle ride up the hill - it’s like the local version of an amusement park rollercoaster ride.

I went for dinner at Da Gelsomina about an hour before writing this review. First off, the restaurant has a shuttle service for those in Anacapri (which is a very enjoyable place to stay). Once you arrive, you’re greeted by great staff. I was a solo diner so I can’t comment much on the bottles of wine etc, but the glass of local (from the campania region) was great and their homemade liqueurs are a must try. Now, onto the food, the appetizers were great and really well thought out. Very classic dishes (my family is from this region) that are very well made. The escarole polpette were great and the octopus (for those who enjoy it) was fantastic. I had a whole local fish as the main. They can prepare it in several ways and generally have 2-3 types of fish to pick from. The fish was cooked to perfection and was cleaned prior to being served tableside. I didn’t have dessert and opted for the homemade liqueur instead which was fantastic. I went at 9pm so it was dark outside. The view and the sunset must be spectacular from up where the restaurant is, in case this is an important factor. I really recommend this place. Of course, given its rustic feel and very traditional cuisine, you will also be dining with a lot of Italians here on vacation - and this is how you know when a place is good.

Landmark
Villa Jovis, also known as Villa of Jupiter, is the remains of a lavish Roman palace constructed by Emperor Tiberius in AD 27 on a headland. The site offers stunning views and can be accessed by foot. According to historical accounts, the emperor indulged in luxury at this mountaintop villa, adorning it with explicit artwork and allegedly engaging in scandalous activities.
Visiting Villa Jovis was an unforgettable experience. The site is rich with history, and walking through the ruins where Emperor Tiberius once lived gives you a real sense of the ancient world. The views from the cliffs are absolutely breathtaking some of the most stunning panoramas you’ll see in Capri. It’s a bit of a hike to reach (about 40 minutes uphill from Capri town), so bring comfortable shoes and water, but it’s well worth the effort. The combination of history, atmosphere, and scenery makes Villa Jovis a must see for anyone visiting the island. Highly recommended if you love history, archaeology, or just want to enjoy some of the most beautiful views in Capri.
Euclides R — Google review
Visited October 2024. Approximately a one hour walk from Capri town the Villa is at the summit of Mount Tiberius - sounds daunting but not really. The path leading to the villa is paved/tarmac/concrete and is wheelchair (wheel) friendly. Having said that this is a two-thousand year old site, wheels would be very difficult once inside. A wonderful piece of history with a modest entrance fee and a relaxed atmosphere once inside. Restored in places but most of the structure looks authentically old. With panoramic views of The Bay of Naples including a fantastic view of Sorrento, if you make the effort you will be rewarded when you get there.
P B — Google review
A must visit for anyone going to Capri and interested in history. The ruins are not well preserved but still worth seeing and walking through. The walk from the port is not for the weak, particularly during the summer heat. Be prepared for equivalent of about 102 flights of stairs (per my garmin watch) to get there. Along the way, many grocers and shops to stop and get a refreshment to stay cool on the way up and dozens of places for lunch in the way down. Tip, don’t go to the places in busy touristy areas. Find a spot all by itself, there are many.

An large villa with a really interesting history. Read up on Tiberio Augusto before you visit and then let those stories come to life! Entrance is a reasonable price and the park next to it with the cliff top path is amazing. And ad its Capri through views are stunning.

Get ready for quite the trek. A lot of stairs up and up hill walking. The history of this place interesting and the views were amazing, but I definitely would never do it again!

Ugo made this visit more than we could possibly have anticipated. Thanks Ugo! We happened to arrive in time for his post lunch tour of the grounds and we learned a great deal. His info and insight into the location and island were a genuine highlight of the trip to Capri. The villa itself is a surprisingly huge complex, with a major water collection system, strangely topped by a catholic chapel built above it before they realised Emperor Tiberius' palatial villa was underneath. Amazing views also from the chapel and the park next door where we saw goats for the only time on the 3 day visit. It's an uphill trek and there's a great 20min forest short cut across to Villa Lysis which is worth seeing in combination with Villa Jovis but bring a packed lunch or allow enough time. The gardens, houses and sleeping cats along the way made this an even better excursion. I started this review at 4 stars for Villa Jovis but the whole trip was 5 stars.
Josic C — Google review
Absolutely stunning views from Villa Jovis. The ruins themselves are interesting as well, but the five star views are the real reason to make the trek. There is another small park about 100m before the entry to Villa Jovis, which is worth a look as well. We stayed at Hotel Marmela and it was about a 35 minute walk along paved walkways and a few flights of stairs. The walkways are beautiful and very quiet before 1030 am. After that, you will start seeing the day tours. We were there at 1015 and were the only people at the Villa. 6 Euro entry fee and there are toilets at the site.

Worth the hike but be aware it is demanding with some steep segments to get there. The views are worth the hike. 6 euro entrance. Once inside you can walk around the site and take your photos. We did Villa Jovis first as soon as we got to Capri and then Natural Arch.

Hotel Weber Ambassador is a 4-star beachfront hotel located at Marina Piccola Beach in Capri. The hotel offers airy rooms and suites, some with sea views and private balconies. Guests can enjoy the polished restaurant, piano bar, and three outdoor pools, including one for kids. The hotel provides shuttle service to Capri Town every eight minutes. Amenities include two hot tubs, a library, and a fitness center.
We spent 5 wonderful days at Hotel Weber Ambassador in Capri and everything exceeded our expectations! Starting with the delicious, fresh, and varied breakfast, and continuing with the incredibly kind and helpful staff – everyone made us feel truly welcome. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking – whether you're looking out over the sea or down toward the iconic Marina Piccola beach, it’s a sight that never gets old. We enjoyed this stunning panorama every morning right from our room. Another big plus is the shuttle service to the center of Capri. It was flawless – always on time, comfortable, and very well organized, which gave us the freedom to explore the island without any stress.

The overall experience was absolutely amazing. The first thing you see as you walk up the ramp to the main entrance is a spectacular view of the ocean. This view is also visible from their restaurant, which has a fairly nice selection of food to choose from. The portions are moderate. The wait staff at the restaurant was very accommodating and had a sense of humor. The room we booked was a middle priced room which was very nice which was very clean and had high ceilings. It had quite a large flat screen TV, but if you are staying inside to watch TV, you are missing the reason you should be there, which is to experience this beautiful island. The high ceilings give an open feeling with a separate sitting area adjacent to the bedroom area. The staff at the hotel was polite and helpful as much as to be expected, but nothing above and beyond that. I wanted have flowers sent to someplace on the island and was told that I could walk to the florist down the street to do this. I was hoping that they could have offered to set me up by placing a general order and nothing more. But I decided to wait until I got to our home in the United States to do this from my computer. Other than that, the staff was decent and the hotel was beautiful. If for nothing else, I highly recommend it just for the incredible view. See the pictures I am posting with this, which are also seen from the restaurant.

There is no better location in the Mediterranean I love Marina Piccola so i am subjective Nice, clean rooms. Well worth the upgrade to a sea view. The shuttle service was the BEST, used it every day, never had to wait long. Saved us hundreds of dollars in taxi fees. Good dinner - we ended up eating at the hotel 3 nights Amazing views for breakfast Great staff Good value for money (for Capri)

An excellent location with an amazing staff that was friendly, helpful, and overall wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was very hospitable and provided a personal touch even with a large hotel. The shuttle service was a major positive, with easy access to the main town and the port. and wonderful drivers. The breakfast was good, less so than the other breakfasts we have had in Italy but we did enjoy the omelette station. The room did not quite live up to the rest of the experience. There were a number of broken items - the shower drain, shampoo holder in the shower, and worst of all the sink was about 95% clogged - draining took 5 minutes from washing hands. The room and bathroom were overall fairly clean as were the linens, but the cover blanket had a stain in that wonderful mystery brown color and the other blankets smelled dirty. The staff was very kind and brought a new blanket on request. The whole room smelled musty, and the bathroom especially. The air conditioning was very nice with some hot days during our September stay. It was acceptable for 2 nights with the great access to Marina Piccolo (a beautiful place away from the craziness of Capri town / Main Port) but we agreed we would not be happy staying any longer. The ability to take a sunrise dip in front of the Faraglioni and watch the yachters laugh at us peasants was worth the challenges.

This was our third stay at Hotel Weber with the prior stays ten years ago. We are 4 adults and two children visiting Capri for fun. The hotel has only gotten better since we were last there. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and the staff incredible. The rooms are clean , beds are comfortable and with a world class view of the sea. The grandchildren loved the pool and the pool cafe staff were both friendly and efficient. The hotel helped us book a boat trip around the island which I highly recommend. The staff particularly at the front desk went out of their way to answer every question and assist us in our travels. The hotel has a shuttle service that runs into town every 15 minutes at no extra charge. For a small charge they also can pick your party up at the harbor and bring them back when you leave.

We had a deluxe ocean view and it was stunning. The room are a little older but clean and very very comfortable and super cute. The balcony is amazing and has unbelievable views. The hotel staff is so great and will go out of their way to help you. There is a shuttle that runs to the center of town that is very convenient. I loved it and will be back! Wish we had stayed longer than two nights!

Capri, You Stole My Heart ❤️ Boy oh boy, did I fall in love with Capri — and this hotel played a big part in that! Nestled on the Marina Piccola side of the island, the location was absolutely perfect for our quick overnight stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. But the real showstopper? The views. Truly exceptional — waking up to that breathtaking scenery is something I won’t forget. This spot gave us just a taste of the magic Capri has to offer, and I’m already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay. Until next time, Capri! ❤️🌊

Book anywhere but here. This hotel cannot justify their price at all. Check in felt as if we were being kicked downstairs to a smelly mouldy dungeon. We sat on the bed for a minute and realised we might as well sleep on the hard floor there’s no difference. The disappointing room was enough we immediately started looking at other accommodation which we were lucky enough to find. We had to move to a different hotel for night one of our stay then another hotel for the next two nights as everyone was fully booked but that was nothing compared to the thought of staying one night at this hotel. Spending the extra euro is definitely worthwhile. We had to forfeit one night’s accommodation upon check out though after being in the room for 5 minutes. The room is acceptable if paying maybe 100 euro per night but the room we chose was 4 x that. It felt like a backpackers hostel.

Hotel San Michele is a charming 19th-century retreat offering a renowned nightclub, restaurant, and an outdoor pool. It boasts stunning views of the Bay of Naples and possibly Vesuvius from sea view rooms. The hotel's proximity to Anacapri's center and Villa San Michele makes it convenient for exploration. Guests can enjoy the lovely gardens and breathtaking views at the nearby villa. The hotel features traditional decor with old furniture in common areas, adding to its nostalgic charm.
Hotel San Michele was an absolute dream! The view is unbeatable, with majestic sunsets that can be enjoyed perfectly from the terrace or the drink garden. The pool is huge, featuring plenty of lounge chairs, a lunch spot, and a bar. The service was exceptional, and the location is absolutely perfect. Situated in Anacapri, it's just a 5-minute walk to all the shops and restaurants, and about a 7-minute walk to the chair lift. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more – you have to book a room with a balcony view; it is incredible!!

I’m incredibly disappointed with my stay at Hotel San Michele in Capri. It began with a promised complimentary transfer from the port to the hotel—but I was left waiting over 45 minutes, without explanation, as they delayed departure for other guests. I was exhausted, desperate to use the bathroom, and stuck waiting at the port with my luggage. Upon arrival, I was shocked by the poor condition of the hotel. It looks absolutely nothing like the photos. The check-in experience was unwelcoming—staff were rude, offered no information about local amenities, breakfast times, or hotel facilities. I was placed in a ground floor room next to the cleaning cupboard, with curtains that didn’t fully close and balcony access right next door, which raised serious safety concerns as a solo female traveler. The room was filthy. I found black hairs across the bed, bathroom, and floor. Ants were crawling across the room. Worst of all, there was extensive mould throughout the bedroom and bathroom—clearly painted over in places but still visible on closer inspection. I suffer from severe asthma, and by evening I was struggling to breathe. I had to use my inhaler repeatedly during the night and feared for my health. I was also woken abruptly at 7am on Sunday by cleaners shouting and laughing right outside my room. When I asked them to be quiet, they ignored me. For £200 a night, this level of service and cleanliness is completely unacceptable. When I raised my concerns with the manager, Atilla, she was abrupt and dismissive. I showed her the extensive photo and video evidence I had taken, and she eventually consulted with another staff member (likely the General Manager or Owner). I was offered a complimentary night, which was not an option due to my health concerns. Atilla then verbally agreed to issue a full refund via Booking.com and explained the process. That was over two weeks ago. Despite repeated follow-ups from both myself and Booking.com, the hotel has not honoured the refund. I’m disgusted by the state of this hotel and its lack of accountability. Why promise a refund and then ignore all communication? DO NOT STAY HERE. It is dirty, unsafe, and run by some of the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. It is absolutely not worth £200 a night. To make matters worse, after returning home I developed a severe chest infection, and I have medical documentation to prove this. I believe it was caused by the black mould and poor air quality in the room.

The Location is stunning thats all. The rooms are dirty and broken. The Service is rude and not welcoming. They are super slow and can’t organize! They told us it’s not a public pool but it is. So busy and locals running around with kids. If you wanna relax don’t go there. The Lady’s at the reception are really slow and arrogant. If i could i would give 0 Stars.

Interesting place, location 10 stars, i never ever saw the place with so much potential where is nothing done about it. It could be the best place on Anacapri but management doing nothing about it. Its very pity, it could be easy 5*L hotel beating anything in surrounding, consider an incredible amazing location of this historical property!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. A Filthy Hotel with Disgraceful Management. Let me be perfectly clear: do not stay at Hotel San Michele. Our anniversary trip to Capri was completely ruined by the disgusting conditions and the unbelievably rude and hostile management at this hotel. It was a total nightmare. We arrived for our anniversary hoping for a nice room, a simple request. The manager couldn't have cared less, shutting us down with a cold "no" before shoving us into a room with a lovely view of the parking lot. That was our welcome. It got worse. The shower was absolutely filthy, filled with the hair and grime of past guests. It was disgusting. For a 4-star hotel charging €300 a night, this isn't just bad, it's a health hazard. I went to the front desk, and the two men there treated me with complete contempt. They lied straight to my face, claiming they were full while a wall of keys hung behind them. But the worst part, the part that still makes me furious, was when one of them started mocking me in Italian to his colleague, thinking I couldn't understand. Hearing them call my valid complaint "absurd" was insulting and infuriating. This wasn't just bad service; it was openly disrespectful. Their idea of "fixing" the problem was to have a cleaner come and just smear the filth around our room. It was a joke. The only reason our night wasn't a complete and utter disaster was Nadia. She was the only person on staff who showed a shred of decency or professionalism. She saw how furious we were, took charge, and made sure the shower was actually cleaned, even after the first attempt failed again. Her apology, the wine, and the food she brought us felt like the first moment of genuine human kindness we'd received. Nadia, you were a lifesaver in a sea of incompetence. This hotel is an absolute dump. It's old, falling apart, and the breakfast room is a depressing relic from another century. The 4-star rating is a complete lie. I am writing this so no one else has their special holiday ruined. There is no excuse for a hotel to be this dirty or for staff to treat guests with such disrespect. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere else. Under absolutely no circumstances should you ever stay at the Hotel San Michele. Nadia, thank you for everything. You are a wonderful person working in a truly terrible place.

Dear friends, I ve been coming to Capri for years. This summer was for me the hardest of my life for very sad reasons. Notwithstanding I opted for Capri and the hotel San Michele drew my attention and here I am!! Wonderful!! Bruno, Roberta Eduardo Andrea and especially the cook Francesco , O pennello, are sublime!! Marco at the swimming pool is great and kind!! The restaurant is one of the finest in the whole island!! I fell in love with this place!!!!!

I booked a room at Hotel San Michel through Booking.com, where it was stated that the room had a balcony, but that was not the case. The room 302 only had a small window. It was also very tiny; the photo I uploaded was taken with a wide-angle lens because otherwise, almost nothing would fit in the frame. The room was located right next to the reception, so the noise was constant. Between the conversations of people gathering in the hall and the voices at the front desk, it was quite difficult to rest. Overall, the room does not match the standard of a four-star hotel, nor the photos or description shown online, and certainly not the price I paid.

Hotel La Palma is an elegant establishment housed in a 19th-century building. Situated just a short distance from the bustling Piazzetta, it boasts streamlined rooms and offers complimentary breakfast to its guests. The hotel's rooftop restaurant and bar provide a delightful setting to savor refreshing drinks, including the innovative Americano-Savini. This property is Oetker Collections' inaugural Italian venture and shares ownership with the esteemed Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera.
We stayed for 3 nights and it was such a wonderful stay! Huge thanks to the entire hotel team for making our experience truly unforgettable. A special shoutout to the bellboy Francesco, who helped us with his big smile and warm attitude. And another big thank you to the concierge team for creating a great itinerary and making everything so easy and smooth throughout our trip. Thanks to all of you, we can’t wait to come back again soon!

Our stay here was top notch! Firstly, the service was impeccable. Everyone was so nice and helpful especially the concierge desk who was so patient with me! Thanks to them I was able to find my lost items from the ferry. The rooftop bar is beautiful so dinner and drinks are a must. And you cannot beat the location of this hotel. It is literally right in the thick of it all. We loved our stay here and will be back!

We didn't stay here but enjoyed a lovely lunch on the terrace looking into the street. Petra is a true asset on the hotel and very friendly and helpful. Our meal was delicious (club sandwich and burger) - whilst expensive it was definitely worth it for the atmosphere and vibe. We would return again if we were in Capri.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We stayed in a quiet room on the back of the building. The view is not so great, but the service, the staff compensate all of this. The attention to details at the breakfast made us feel like we were friends with everybody and a welcomed guest. We will certainly get back. The hotel has the best location in Capri (2 min from piazzeta). It’s an iconic building which was renovated in 2023. For sure in the next years it will become the most desired location in Capri.

By God, I didn’t just stay at Hotel La Palma—I descended into it like some dazed aristocrat returning to a forgotten inheritance. It was not a hotel. It was a hallucination sculpted in sunlight and silk. The walls whispered class. The air was perfumed with the scent of gold and fine citrus. This place… it breathes elegance. The design is not merely tasteful—it is surgical in its precision. Every archway, every tile, every gleaming brass fixture seemed to have been chosen by someone with the soul of Fellini and the budget of a Saudi prince. The atmosphere walks the line between Roman sensuality and Parisian restraint, floating effortlessly somewhere above the mortal plane. And the staff—sweet Jesus. Gracious doesn’t begin to describe them. They glided, not walked. They anticipated my needs before I even had time to get thirsty or irritable. One could collapse in a heap of espresso-soaked joy and still be caught by a velvet-gloved hand offering a chilled glass of something French and expensive. I’ve seen luxury. I’ve danced in palaces and raged in five-star bunkers. But this—this was exuberant transcendence. Hotel La Palma doesn’t just offer you a stay; it baptizes you into a cult of sensual ease. Would I return? I may never leave.

Beautiful hotel and the rooms are lush in size and pretty. Unfortunately the hotel didn’t warn us that our junior suite is above the hotel restaurant and lounge and it’s very loud. It’s definitely not peaceful it took us until 2am to fall asleep until the noise calmed down. So we laid there annoyed and tired. Also the bed squeaks so everytime we got in and out of it it makes an annoying noise. For the price of the hotel per night the bed should not be squeaking. This is annoying and not luxury. For Breakfast they brought our food before our drinks and the bacon came about 5 minutes after the food was served. The food should come all together and drinks should arrive prior to food being served. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful hotel this is not it. Service is more like a 4 star.

We wanted to enjoy a drink at the restaurant near the hotel. A staff member approached us with a smile and kindly asked for a moment to prepare a table. However, she disappeared for about 10 minutes, during which we continued to wait. Later, she began serving ice cream to other guests. I approached her to ask what had happened, and she admitted she had forgotten about us. We sat down without being shown to a table. After several more minutes, another waitress came over—she was very kind, and we were finally able to place our order. That said, I believe the waitress in the striped dress who was working on June 20th, 2025, at 12:00 should be dismissed for misconduct, as her behavior negatively impacts the overall impression of the restaurant.

Nestled in the charming suburb of Matermania, La Reginella is a delightful seasonal hotel that offers breathtaking views of Marina Piccola Bay. This cozy retreat is surrounded by lush gardens and traditional Caprese homes, providing a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. While the uphill walk to reach this gem may seem daunting, the stunning vistas and welcoming neighborhood ambiance make it all worthwhile.
1) Room - SHORT ANSWER: comfortable and airy, LONG ANSWER: The beds were comfortable, and the room had easy wifi access as well as an Alexa system. A small refrigerator was included as stated in the description, which I appreciated, as I needed it for my medication. A coffee maker and TV were available, although we didn't use them during our stay. I loved the option to allow natural air into the room with the locking, shuttered door, and windows. There was a small, private porch area for our room with lounge chairs where we could look out at the sea. 2) Bathroom - SHORT ANSWER: big and luxurious, LONG ANSWER: The bathroom was about 2/3 the size of our bedroom and easily the largest hotel bathroom I've ever encountered. It included a tub that could probably fit two people along with the shower option. It also had a TV that could be viewed from the tub and a vanity. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap were all available, as well as shower caps. Location - SHORT ANSWER: lots of climbing and beautiful views, LONG ANSWER: Unless you are staying right on the beach, everywhere in Capri is going to require a lot of stair climbing. The payoff is that the views will be spectacular. There is a restaurant situated just above the hotel, a mini-market just down the street, and the main square of Capri is a short walk away, where you can take a bus or enjoy the shopping. Overall, you will be nicely situated to get around the island from this location. Service and Breakfast - SHORT ANSWER: worth the visit in and of itself, LONG ANSWER: The service here is wonderful. The breakfast buffet includes dishes that are handmade, and it feels like it is prepared by someone who truly enjoys running a hotel and wants to provide an unforgettable experience to its customers. The owner let us leave our luggage after checkout so that we could explore the island further before leaving on the evening ferry. Bonus points from an avid animal lover for the presence of a sweet, tennis-ball-obsessed spaniel and a very sleepy hotel cat. We loved our stay and would have happily stayed longer! We can not recommend this place enough!

I would like to start by saying my 1 star rating for this place is not for the hotel but for the manager Alex. I’m sorry to be blunt but he is racist and has issues with brown skin (non white) folks. After the 1st night, when we went out next day and came back after a long day, only to find that rooms are not even cleaned. Try to connect to him and find out and his response, “I’m not sure what happened! Not even a simple sorry”. This hotel is pretty far from the super market and main square, we are tired after a long day, asked for water and he is like sorry can’t give you. All locked here but should be in your rooms. When he knew clearly that rooms were not even cleaned and there was no water left in the freeze. How cheap is this guy who can’t even give water to his guests who are paying premium to stay at this hotel. When asked politely in the evening to just have access to the lobby and terrace area by the breakfast, his response, no you can’t sit there. Told him so many times that we are not going to touch anything, we would simply just like to sit there and enjoy the view. What’s the point of staying is this place when the manager is so rude and doesn’t even let the guests enjoy the view. Last day we asked for 30 mins additional time for check out, so instead of 11 we said can we check out at 11:30? His response, I don’t care and need these rooms empty by 11. Shocking. This guys needs customer service 101 training. He claims to have 30 years of experience but our interaction with him made us realize he has no customer service experience. We have traveled to 30+ countries and stayed in many hotels but never had such experience from a hotel manager. I’m sure he is going to reply back and dispute it all with his lies but I’m truly hoping hotel boss reaches out to me so we can share our experience and interactions with Mr. Unprofessional Alex.

I brought my mother here for a mother and son trip this past September and we had an amazing time. The hotel is situated in Anacapri about a 7-10 minute walk to the piazzas nearby. The hotel was gorgeous, with tons of class and etiquette, much like the owner and his daughters. Franco and his daughters are very friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they do(living in Capri also has something to do with that I'd presume) and oftentimes will engage in conversation with you. On top of Italian, Franco speaks English, French, and Spanish which he used with us. They have a wonderful garden ripe with figs, pears, grapes, pears, olives, and tons of other varieties of fauna. The view from there gazebo is breathtaking and have each room lovely decorated in its own unique style. They have porcelain paintings lined on their walls as well as an individual patio for each room. Behind the hotel there's a path that will take you down the backside of the island to Grotta Azzurra which can take about 45mins-1hour depending on how fast you go. Would absolutely love to return and believe this is a perfect honeymoon destination. I promise you won't regret visiting .

I could not recommend this hotel enough. We usually come every summer to the Amalfi coast and it is safe to say that we found our new favourite hotel! It is run by a family that could’ve not greeted us in a better and more heartwarming way. The garden with the pool are serene and the rooms spectacular. Given that the hotel is located in anacapri it is absolutely peaceful and away from all the crowds but still so close to all the shops and restaurants of the town. Even though the breakfast and the famous Ravioli are enough reason not to leave. I have shared pictures and videos with friends and family which are all planning to visit or join us when we will return next year.

Franco and his daughter’s Aurélie and Raffaele were amazing hosts and made our stay such a memorable experience. We were picked up near the Anacapri Piazza Della Pace and were given a lovely suite overlooking their beautiful garden and the Gulf of Naples. Their homemade Ravioli was amazing and the best dish we had even after trying ample variety of Restaurants recommended by our generous hosts. Franco’s garden has a wonderful array of fruits and veg and we were told to help ourselves which was very kind of him. We much appreciated the time and dedication taken by Franco to share his local knowledge and the personal touch of going through him made us feel reassured and valued; it felt like he wanted to make our few days as special as possible and it definitely was. One example of this- I tried to call a local boat tour operator who seemed only interested in charging us a high price and even said the Blue Grotto was closed. I was disappointed so went to talk to Franco, who went out of his way to arrange a three hour boat tour via Rafael, a family member who gave us the best time. He had vast knowledge of the island, great stories to tell and let us have as much time as we wanted to visit the places we desired including the Blue Grotto. These are why we highly recommend staying with family run businesses and knew we couldn’t get the same experience staying with big hoteliers. The personal touch is second to none and just adds that much more character and gave us a true flavour of what it’s like to live among the local islanders. Ciao Franco, Aurélie and Raffaele

We had an exceptionally pleasant stay at Giardino dell arte! We loved our junior suite with our own terrace in the beautiful garden of Franco. Anacapri is a great place to stay as it is calmer than other places on the island, and still has very nice sea view. Franco & family served the best ravioli we had in our lives, a must try! Thank you so much for making our stay so beautiful.

Franco the owner is the best. He picks you up from the port and drives you to his property giving you a tour of the island along the way. Breakfast is served in his breathtaking garden with a beautiful view of the sea. Selections from breakfast included fruit and tomatoes fresh from his gardens. The garden is an excellent place to take in the sunset with a glass of vino. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay on Capri.

Villa Eva is a charming guesthouse with unique Moorish and Mediterranean design, offering cozy rooms and an inviting outdoor pool. Situated in a secluded area, it provides complimentary breakfast and is conveniently located near the ferry terminal, Grotta Azzurra, and Punta Gradola beach. The property also offers a garden, on-site parking, and a snack bar by the pool.
I can only say that it has been AMAZING, one of the nicest accommodations I have ever stayed in. The room, the surroundings full of plants and the sound of birds, the swimming pool, the attention of the owners, the breakfast, made for a wonderful few days. I would go back a thousand times. It's so worth paying the extra for the room with terrace and sea view :)

This family run hotel has been around for a very long time. My husband visited again after 25 years and it was just as beautiful as he remembered it. The hotel grounds is breathtaking.. so many interesting plants and flowers everywhere and the family that owns it is so kind and sweet. If you’re looking for peace and a serene environment, you need to stay here.

This was truly love at first sight. I’ve stayed in many luxurious hotels around the world, but Villa Eva is something entirely different. It isn’t just luxurious — it’s more. It’s family-run, and you can feel that in the way every detail is cared for and maintained with such love. When I booked, I didn’t even pay much attention to the photos — we simply needed a place to rest after driving 2,500 km in a week with our campervan. We reserved two nights, but after the very first morning we immediately extended our stay. The gardens, the pool, the rooms — everywhere you look, you can feel the passion poured into this place. I want to convince anyone reading this review to come here, but words honestly don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back!

Villa Eva was a very pleasant experience for us. To start with, the owner was a nice and respectful person who helped us with everything, including our luggage. It was very kind of him. He showed us around and gave us tips on what to do in Capri, which was very helpful. The lady in the breakfast area was wonderful and welcomed us each morning with a smile. She made the best hot chocolate, and breakfast was delicious, especially the lemon cake with custard. I loved that the atmosphere in this hotel was very calm all the time. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is surrounded by a garden or jungle-like environment, so there may be mosquitoes, bugs, and Capri blue lizards (which are well-known there). This is to be expected. We stayed in a villa with a terrace, which had a sea view, and the shared pool was also nice."

I recently stayed at Villa Eva in Anacapri and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is superb, nestled in the charming surroundings of Anacapri. The staff at Villa Eva were incredibly friendly and hospitable. My time there was truly enjoyable, and I can't wait to return. Thank you, Villa Eva, for a fantastic stay!

What a pleasure to have stayed there! The rooms are spacious, clean and so nicely built! I love how the family built this place with such good taste, it's so welcoming with a lovely wild garden. The breakfast is good, fresh fruits available, good grain bread, and Alma prepares the best cappuccinos in town. I just missed natural juice, but didn't get it in any hotel in Italy either. The hotel is close to the bus station, but we decided to walk back and forth everyday to burn some kcal before/after pasta 😬. Also, the buses are not part of a public transportation plan, every bus charges a ticket...for every ride, and they are often (very) full. Tip -> Rent a scooter with Carlos' friend! Carlos even gave us a ride on the way back to Anacapri bus station with our luggages! 💚 Can only recommend, I'd absolutely stay here again next time! Plus: Anacapri is way nicer than Capri, stay here!

Hotel La Vega is a charming and upmarket accommodation located in a quiet area of Capri town, offering stunning sea views from its bright rooms with private balconies. The hotel features tastefully furnished bedrooms equipped with modern amenities, including whirlpool baths. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool shaded by olive trees and a snack bar conveniently located nearby. The traditional charm of the hotel's candy pink exterior extends to its white and blue interiors with tiled floors.
The hotel is lovely. Easy to get to from the port with the funicular and a short walk. Welcomed with Prosecco by the most lovely staff. Great location with a beautiful view. We ate breakfast with the most amazing pastries every morning from our balcony overlooking the ocean.

My answer: With all due respect, I must clarify that the one not telling the truth here is you particularly regarding the water issue. It was reported on the very first day to the lady at the front desk. However, it seems the matter was completely ignored neither resolved . For your verification, I stayed in room 44, which I am documenting here. Regarding the view, it is undeniable that there are two large trees directly in front of the room, blocking part of the view as was advertised. The promised upgrade never happened. Furthermore, due to an error in your system, I was charged an unexpected fee a week before our arrival without being given any choice. If I hadn’t accepted the charge, probably you would have cancelled the reservation, leaving us without any viable option in Capri due to the short notice. That was not honest, nor fair. Everything will be reported to Google accordingly. I am not the one being dishonest. No further comments. *** We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Due to a booking issue, we were charged an extra €200 for a third bed which turned out to be just a sofa bed, not an actual upgrade as we had been led to believe. This felt misleading, especially after being told it was an upgrade in room type. The shower was also a letdown. The water pressure was extremely low, and even after we reported it to the front desk, nothing changed during our stay. Our room was advertised as having a full sea view, but in reality, it was only a partial view with two large trees blocking a good portion of it. To top it off, we were charged €5 for losing one of the spare room keys. While we understand the policy, it felt excessive after everything else. One positive side: the pool area is lovely, very clean and relaxing. The hotel’s restaurant was actually a highlight, great food and good service. Lastly, the location is further from the main area than expected. All in all, a disappointing experience for the price we paid. There are definitely better options in the area.
Vinicius K — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience with La Vega Hotel in Capri was deeply disappointing. I will explain why. We booked directly through their official website a room for three people (2 adults and 1 child) and paid everything in advance. To our surprise, about three weeks before check-in, the hotel contacted us claiming that their own website was wrong (strange, isn’t it?) and that the room could not actually accommodate three guests. Instead of taking responsibility for this “error,” they offered us an upgrade, but only if we paid an additional €200 por the extra bed. At that stage, we had no real choice: finding another hotel in Capri with so little time left in the high season was nearly impossible, and our trip was already planned around this reservation. This was an abusive situation, handled with arrogance and dishonesty. We will never forget this unpleasant “trap” they set with our booking and our money. Everything is documented, and we would strongly caution future guests to think twice before booking here, because some surprises and "tricks" may catch you off guard, as was our case!

The LaVega Hotel was beyond our expectations. The staff were so welcoming and kind. Our room was beautiful and the balcony had an amazing view. The food was wonderful with good italian options and seafood. We loved the pool as well as the location. The hotel had a pretty blue and white tiled floor and a terrific garden outside leading to the pool. I cannot speak higher of our stay. My only disappointment was the pool closing at 7pm but other than that I will definitely be back.

We absolutely had a five star experience at Hotel La Vega! This his behind the lovely family operated boutique hotel is fantastic, I encourage you to read it before you visit. Hotel La Vega is located on a hillside close to the Piazetta. La Vega has the advantage of being close enough to the Piazetta for a nice stroll but far enough away, it is very quiet and serene. The family was terrific, the food delicious, our room had an amazing view and was perfect for breakfast. The pool is very large, service on the deck was on point and the employees were very helpful. La Vega was a fantastic getaway for us, we even walked from La Vega down to the Marina. The location was close enough easily access everything we wanted to do on Capri and far enough away we didn't have to deal with noise or the bustle of the tourists. Giovanna was so helpful. She helped with the room, dinner reservations, scheduling our departure, and arranging to send our bags to the ferry on our departure. In addition, she seemed to have terrific advice any time we asked for help. We recommend La Vega and hope to stay there again soon!
Brian C — Google review
Pool is available 10am - 7pm, but during the day it is a relaxing oasis, watching the clouds roll by and the yachts drop anchor on the southern side of Capri. Rooms are spotless, breakfast is lovely (eggs any way or omelette included). Family room is a great option when travelling with older children (in my case, 10 + 15 y.o.). Porterage is added to your bill to/from the ferry - just use the one porterage company and they'll get bags there and back in an hour or so, at around 20 euros per bag per direction - and on departure they'll load them all the way into your outbound ferry for you!

Nestled in the heart of Capri, Pazziella Garden & Suites offers a delightful and relaxing stay with its range of amenities including daily housekeeping, free Wi-Fi, and 24-hour front desk. This 5-star luxury hotel boasts 12 sea-view rooms and is conveniently located near popular attractions like the botanical Gardens of Augustus and Marina Grande. Guests can enjoy comfortable rooms overlooking the garden while being surrounded by lush groves.
Excellent location and service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast every day was excellent and it’s a perfect base to stay in Capri, close in but away from most of the crowds. I only have one feedback for management which is to remove these chairs depicting children of color working as servants. Not acceptable under any circumstances.

My wife and I stayed at Pazziella last weekend for our honeymoon, and we couldn't be happier of our decision to book our stay here despite having received recommendations for other hotels in the island. I come to the Amalfi coast to visit family every year and I've always told my wife that in order to truly enjoy Capri, you simply have to stay in the island at least a few nights, and I think there's no better place to do so than the Pazziella Garden & Suites. This hotel is truly a gem: quiet, luxurious, clean, and close to the town center, yet far enough that you don't feel engulfed in the chaos of peak hour in the island. The staff is outstanding, from the ENTIRE gracious and very helpful front desk team, to the servers at their restaurant (which by the way, is also amazing) with special shout outs to Francesco and Vladislav. We had a beautiful suite with a partial view of the sea. The court yard is also very relaxing and perfect to have a drink at. The other hotels of the island in this category just don't appeal to me for the simple facts that they're too chaotic and that they're the classic places to "just be seen" for your insta post... not my style! Grazie a tutto il team, e se un giorno ritorneremo a Capri, di sicuro alloggeremo da voi! Andrea & Samantha

My wife and I have stayed at Pazziella for 4 nights. They gave us an exceptional experience, communicated with us before, throughout, and after our stay making sure we were well taken care of. The hotel itself is conveniently next to the square and close to all transport, but is manages to remain quiet and romantic. Can’t say enough about the quality of the rooms and experience without writing a book. We had an amazing time. A special thanks to Massimiliano in reception for his amazing service!

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The best thing we did in our trip to Capri was choosing this lovely hotel. Amazing staff and hospitality. You can contact them through whatsapp so they’re available 24/07. I loved everything about the hotel, the breakfast, the cleanliness of the hotel, and specially the location, as there are two ways to reach the hotel, one was exactly in the center next to Loro Piana shop, which was convenient 👍🏻 if you are coming to Capri for the first time, the hotel is a must.

I have stayed in so many five stars hotels across Europe, this hotel by far the most friendly and welcoming staff I ever met. I felt like I am a very important person in the family staying at there home from the way and warm hospitality we felt. The hotel is amazing modern so clean very high tech. Room so comfortable and view from balcony is great. Breakfast is typical Italian waiters so friendly just want to bring you any thing you like with a warm smile and kind attitude. They made our stay just perfect, can’t specify just one or two persons simply every one is like that,,

It is a cosy hotel, where there is quality at every corner and with a welcoming and attentive staff. Any type of holiday you have in mind, they will help you and make sure that it is organised to perfection, whether this is a hotel transfer or an excursion. And the food is really an expression of the sunny Capri. Everything you need is there. And it is extremely quiet, as it is not on the high street, even though it is well connected: 2 minutes walk through a "secret" passageway and you are in the heart of Capri High Street.

The place is an amazing boutique hotel, with wonderful rooms, amazing staff and located right in the middle of Capri which makes it very easy to see everything that needs to be seen during your stay. The staff were very helpful throughout, explaining what needs to be seen and helping. The grounds are very charming and well kept. They also provide complimentary tickets on the tram to the port. Very pleased, would definitely repeat our stay.

The Faraglioni, a group of three majestic rock formations off the coast of Capri, offers a stunning and unique view for visitors. Boats pass through an arch formed by these iconic oceanic rocks, providing an unforgettable experience. The nearby botanic Gardens of Augustus offer breathtaking panoramic views that include the Faraglioni Islands emerging from the sea. From this vantage point, visitors can also access the Via Krupp, a historic twisted street leading to Marina Piccola.
This is truly the best of Amalfi Coast. A one hour island tour of Capri is just so mesmerising that you'd like to go back here again & again. Views of the coastline and the grottos are just great and the blue mediterranean water does the magic! Don't miss it for anything.

We saw this rock formation as part of our day trip by boat from Nerano. This tour depart Nerano to Capri where you spend 5 hours on Capri and before you depart, the boat goes around the island and through the archway made by this rock formation. The tour encouraged couples to kiss as we passed through the archway as it gives the couple a good luck wish. They teased it would lead to pregnancy. It's certainly a nice stop as part of a tour.

Giardini di Augusto, also known as the Gardens of Augustus, is a picturesque botanical garden located in Capri. The garden offers sweeping views of the sea and the village of Marina Piccola below. It features a footpath that leads to the village and provides a classic view of the Faraglioni rock formations.
No queue to entry, tickets can be purchased at a vending machine right outside (no cash accepted). The only wait i had to do is to take pictures at the watch points. The garden is not so big, but the view is breathtaking. 😄 Right next to the garden you will find the roof top bar which has excellent cocktails next to the same mesmerising view.

The gardens of Augustus is a beautiful mountaintop garden which has a few statues and benches but it's main selling point is the view at the top. If you are on a tour and don't have much time I would recommend, as it's easy enough to get to and is a stunning "Instagram worthy" spot. Of course you have to pay to get in which you can do via a QR code or buying tickets. You can pay in your own currency on the app, which I thought was cool. I think £4 for a tiny garden with a view is milking it though, I think it should be done on a donation basis. You'll have people everywhere posing at every which angle so find a few good spots, take some snaps and get out of there!
JB R — Google review
€2.50 per person for entry and not sure its worth it. It is essentially 10m2 of grass with some flowers, several view points towards the faraglioni and a couple more on the other side towards the Via Krupp. Some good views of the faraglioni rocks but lots of people in the way taking photos of course. The views are just as good at the roof terrace next door and you can have a drink whilst enjoying the view! Win win

Beautiful views and definitely worth a visit to get some memorable pictures. Lots of places to sit and relax but you’re not allowed to eat there. Entry was €2.5 and definitely worth the views.

Nice and well maintained gardens. Entrance fee of €2,50 a person. Plenty of scenic viewpoints. Make sure to arrive as early as possible to prevent having to navigate the tourist groups that start arriving as early as of 09:30. They open at 09:00, and since it’s a small garden between 09:00 and 09:30 is a very nice window to see it all in all tranquility.(excluding the via Krupp)
Evan — Google review
Lovely gardens atop of Capri full of colorful flower beds running along narrow paths, shady trees and statues - a peaceful oasis with gorgeous views. The small entry fee is certainly worth it, there is a vending machine inside selling cold bottled water for 1€. From there you can take the switch back path down to Marina Piccola, it took us about 30 minutes.
FLnurseER1 — Google review
After our ferry ride, we made our way to the Garden of Augustus. The views were truly magnificent, and the serene atmosphere made for a perfect escape. The vibrant colors of the flowers against the deep blue of the sea were a sight to behold. However, the experience was slightly marred by the cost of entry. It felt like a bit of a rip-off to pay €2.50 per person for such a small area. What was even more frustrating was the price of water. Having to shell out €2.50 for a tiny 300ml bottle felt like pure exploitation, especially on a hot day. It's a shame that a place of such natural beauty has to resort to such practices to squeeze every penny out of its visitors.
Pavan N — Google review
Lovely little garden in an amazing location. The statues and plants are very nice, and the grounds are very well maintained. The really impressive aspect is the surrounding architecture, particularly the switchback ramp leading all 100+ meters down to the sea.

Certosa San Giacomo Capri is a 14th-century Carthusian monastery known for its diverse architecture, frescoes, and stunning views of the sea. The monumental complex features impressive cross, barrel, and coffered vaults that are typical of the island's architecture. It is situated near the Augustus Gardens, offering a classic view of the Faraglioni rocks.
Stunning venue for art and example of 14th century Caprese architecture. The building has a storied past with faded frescos and long, empty hallways. It has a mysterious air with mildly overgrown areas and clean, but empty rooms with amazing views of the sea. The art exhibition is like nothing I've ever seen with the natural lighting highlighting the oil paintings which were already expressive and dramatic. Off season, it was €6 for two people (cash only), and fully worth the quiet, off-the-beaten path exploration.

Fantastic art and history museum carefully placed within a former monestary. The art is well-curated, and the monstary building is unique and beautiful. The history exhibit features artifacts of the Roman Imperial family related to their residence on Capri, which also includes a number of statues, busts, and other art. There is a stunning seaside view in a balcony on this part of the museum.

The Certosa San Giacomo is a beautiful and peaceful spot in Capri, full of history and charm. The monastery dates back centuries, and walking through its courtyards, cloisters, and halls gives a real sense of the island’s past. The architecture is striking, and the grounds are well maintained, making it a relaxing place to explore away from the busier areas of Capri. There was no wait to enter when we visited, and tickets did not need to be booked in advance, which made it easy and stress free. From here, you also get some great views of the sea and surrounding landscape. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re interested in history, architecture, or just want a quiet and beautiful escape in Capri.

Bought an under 18 ticket on their website for me on a school trip for a solo visit. And it was free!! Was able to buy the tickets before our trip, and received an email with the online ticket and qr code. Update today I visited the museum/monument and it was AMAZING. It was so big and the inner garden and outer garden was so pretty. And the religous paintings were very interesting and very big! I also spotted a cat sleeping in the grass. WORTH VISITING. And it is located just beyond the street of designer shops.

We were relocated here from a hotel in Capri, which we were fine with. I had specifically booked a room at the other hotel with a jacuzzi for my pregnant wife since we were planning on doing a lot of hiking. They "Upgraded" the original booked room from the other hotel to a" junior suite with partial sea view". We were fine with it since it was going to have a jetted tub and AC as stated on their website. The tub did not work and we called reception to help. They came up and said "sorry it is not working and the handy man would not be here until after you leave" since we were only staying for one night. We also asked her about the A.C since it was hot and humid in the room. She responded that the island does not turn on the A.C until mid May. Which is not advertised on the website or we would've waited to come until then since my wife has a hard enough time sleeping anyways. There are also no nets on the balconies so when we opened the door to cool off bugs started flying in and it was really loud/bright being next to the street. For that kind of money the room does not reflect the quality you would expect from a "5 star hotel" with barely no view of the sea it was wild. upon check out they didn't ask us anything and just informed us that we paid in full and we were set. While my wife was using the bathroom later when we picked up our luggage they asked how our stay was where we informed them how it was quite disappointing and the receptionist responded by saying "oh... safe travels". I really do not know what makes this hotel think they are 5 stars aside rom most of the staff greeting us.... I did not notice anything that would set above a 3 star hotel.
Palmer W — Google review
The most important thing to state is that this is not a 5 star hotel. Do not book this hotel if you are a 5 star traveller. The location was amazing, and the staff were friendly but the AC did not work for one night, there was no water pressure. The rooms had a level of grime to them while still being clean. There was decent wifi. Overall, good experience but not polished.
Adina Z — Google review
Extremely bad experience at the restaurant. In a bill of 350 euros they overcharged us by 150 euros, totaling 500 euros. They charged each beer 15 euros (standard 400ml size) while the price of the beer is NOWHERE mentioned, neither in the food menu nor in the drinks menu. They also charged a cover of 5 euros per person, while this is also NOWHERE mentioned in the menus or anywhere in the restaurant as a label. On top of that, they charged 2 extra beers. Seeing this absurd charges, we tend to think that this was not a mistake, they were just hoping we will not see the extra 30 euros they charged. We complained and we told them we will follow all legal procedures. At the end they removed the cover charge of 60 euros and the two beers, reducing the bill by 90 euros. About the food, the fish was good. But the pizza we got for the children was very bad. Extremely bad experience, trying to make money from tourists.

We did not stay here but stopped for snacks and cocktails a couple of times. Staff very welcoming Manuela was terrific host both times we stopped in. The potato salad was light at tasty, the burrata with peaches was also a nice touch. It for me the experiment with a couple of cocktails was my highlight. Guilin created some nice drinks for us. - Whisky sour was delicious and then I tried a Midori melon sour. My fiend had the local lemon spritzer

Relais Maresca is a charming 19th-century property located in Capri, offering stunning sea views and bright, stylish rooms adorned with Vietri tiles. The hotel's beachfront position and panoramic terrace provide breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius. Guests can easily access the famous Grotta Azzurra and book boat tours around the island at the reception. The roof garden and solarium offer a perfect setting for a light lunch or sunbathing while enjoying picturesque vistas.
This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was nice although the shower was a bit small (wait til you hear about the second shower though). We stayed in the penthouse room which featured a private outdoor terrace. The terrace had sun bed loungers with an optional cover, seating area and swinging chair to say the least. It also had an outdoor shower which we could not even believe it was incredible!! The views from the terrace were spectacular, it was an unobstructed view of the ocean looking towards the mainland of Italy. The hotel is nice and close to the ferry port so you don’t have to go too far to get to the hotel. The hotel manager Antonio was a pleasure to deal with. The restaurant at the hotel was small and quaint. It was never packed and we were able to get a table with ease. The food was fresh and delicious both days that we went. The views during the sunset were breathtaking. The waiter Anu was fantastic and seemed like a genuinely good person. He offered suggestions about what to do and where to go during our stay. 10/10 would recommend staying here if you’re visiting Capri!

The absolute friendliest and most helpful staff of a hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Antonio, the manager says he treats all guests like family and he means it. Such a great and personal experience. Restaurant deck is in the middle of the action, but feels like you’re away from the crowd. Amazing breakfast and spectacular cocktails and coffee. Listen to the recommendations for everything to do on the island and you’ll be happy you did.

This place is right in front of boat port and walking distance like 2 minutes. Just need to go up the stairs or walking on the street. It right next to taxi and bus station to visit the island. Beautiful place, beautiful service and breakfast is good. Antonio is a very friendly and very helpful manager. The whole staff are friendly and ready to help. Definitely I recommend this hotel. 👌 We were family of 4 and enjoyed our room And bed were comfortable.

We booked this hotel a month ago, and during this month, we had to cancel the hotel due to our inability to get to the hotel. (Caused by a war that had led to the airports closing off and flight tickets getting canceled.) We contacted the hotel in attempt to cancel our stay. They requested all kinds of details, which we sent and later got completely ignored. The service experience we had during this process was beyond disrespectful.

Very nice hotel. The staff was pleasant, and accommodating. The rooms were neat and clean. Housekeeping was exceptional. The location was perfect in regards to the ferry service. I do recommend this hotel if this is your first visit to Capri, due to its location, Tim and Fabricio.

I recently stayed at the hotel, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive specially the hotel manager Antonio, ensuring all my needs were met promptly. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and featured a stunning view of the sea and port. The breakfast buffet was very good with a view. Its central location made it easy to explore the ports area. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Capri.

I did not expect the hotel to be this level of sophistication in location and service, but it turned out otherwise. All the staff are amazingly cooperative and helpful to the point that the guest feels comfortable, and the concierge is comfortable in dealing with him and tries to ensure that your requests are fulfilled as quickly as possible, especially since the hotel manager Antonio is a welcoming and helpful person who makes you feel that the hotel is your second home. Second, I stayed in room number 35, which is beautiful and has a stunning view. All services under the hotel are available, including marine facilities, taxis, and boat rentals. I confirm that I will chose the same hotel in the next summer plan.

Shame, shame, shame!!! I booked reservation for the hotel 30 days before me trying to cancel it due to a war that’s going on in Israel ( sky is closed no flight zone) I was in touch with the team and they asked me to send them all the information via email. I did so and they decided to ignore me. I did a few times day after day gave them all the information so unprofessional I will not recommend anyone Dealing with them !

Hotel Syrene Capri is a centrally located upscale hotel in Capri, just a short walk from Piazzetta di Capri and Faraglioni Rocks. The property offers an outdoor pool, rooftop terrace, and garden with stunning sea views. Guests can enjoy modern and bright rooms with free Wi-Fi, some featuring sea views. The hotel also boasts a restaurant, bar, coffee shop/cafe, concierge services, and complimentary wireless internet access.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Capri. If you love luxury shopping, this is a great hotel choice. It's literally next door to all the luxury shops and to the other side of the hotel there are so many small restaurants and coffee shops. The views are so gorgeous. The concierge and staff are amazing. The concierge helped us every step of the way, from transportation to dinner recommendations and reservations. It's a beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean, and the bathrooms are nice, but the shower is a tight fit kind of skinny, but like most of the hotels along the coast, they are dated. So don't expect a ton of tech in the room. These are old hotels but still beautiful, clean, and comfy. Thank you for a great experience we will be back.

I stayed with group of my friend and family. The location is really good. Breakfast at the balcony with good view. Behind is lemon garden which is amazing.

Stayed here for 3 nights for pure relaxation, which it was. The hotel exceeded our expectations and delivered a very high standard both for the accommodation and the breakfast. Had lunch here a couple of times which was delicious. Very relaxing atmosphere around the popular pool and good service with drinks.
Jesper B — Google review
Had a wonderful experience at Hotel Syrene. We stayed for two nights and you can't beat the location, private lemon tree grove, big pool, and great views even if you aren't ocean side. Stay included breakfast and the hotel staff recommended an amazing dinner spot at the top of Anacapri. Would 10/10 recommend to travelers.
Hannah M — Google review
One of the worst hotel experiences I have had in a while. Two main issues, the door to our balcony did not lock (not an elevated balcony, accessible to other people), the second being the room had a horrible lingering odor throughout the entire stay. We notified the hotel about this immediately and after 2 days they were unable to fix the door (3 different people came in and tried to fix it). On the 3rd day (we stayed for 4 nights) they finally offered to move our room. Extremely unsafe and unprofessional. They tried to offer champagne as a solution to our problems. The front desk staff was nice, the manager wasn't as nice. Additionally, we notified them about the smell, but after 4 days...that was never resolved. The hotel is well located, everything else was underwhelming, I would not recommend. Still to this point there has not been a solution offered for the trouble. Stay at the Mamela, i've heard better things!

A lovely hotel I that seems cared for very well. The style is not modern but fits the island of Capri. Their poolside is hidden from the public with wonderful views of the mountain & a very soothing atmosphere. The breakfast terrace with a distant ocean view, as well as their restaurant under the lemon trees are cozy and beautiful. What really stands out is the service this hotel provides! We felt cared for very well, without it being too much. All in all the stay was a wholesome and relaxing experience and we would definitely come back.
Lea H — Google review
We were not residents, but stopped by to see about refreshments at their terrace. We ended up not going to the terrace because the lemon garden was so stunning. The drinks were good and service was friendly and prompt. Recommend.
Eric D — Google review
Unfortunately, the staff lacks prior experience in handling customers and guests. The receptionists are not friendly, have poor manners, and there is no manager to oversee the staff. One of the staff members, I believe his name is Rafel, who is tall with dark skin, was complaining about serving us and making reservations for us at restaurants and other places. Additionally, an extra charge 60 Euro for delivery service was deducted without our confirmation, and the receipt did not indicate it was prepaid. Regarding the pool service staff, I was rudely asked to leave the swimming pool because it was supposedly closed and would open at 9:30 AM, while it was only 8:45 AM. Considering that Capri is a coastal area, the hotel's amenities should open earlier to serve guests and allow them to enjoy the available services. Overall, my experience at the hotel was very disappointing.

Nestled on the enchanting Capri Island, Hotel La Floridiana offers a tranquil retreat with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. This charming hotel boasts a seasonal outdoor pool adorned with beautiful mosaic tiles and hydromassage jets, perfect for unwinding under the sun. Guests can indulge in complimentary breakfast each morning before exploring nearby attractions like Via Camerelle shopping street, just a short three-minute stroll away.
We had a fantastic three-night stay at Hotel La Floridiana. The room was clean and well-prepared, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were even offered a complimentary upgrade, but chose to stick with our original room since the upgraded one felt a bit too big for two – such a nice problem to have! The location was perfect, close to the city centre and with gorgeous views of the ocean. The service, the setting, and the hospitality made for a really great stay. Highly recommend!

La Floridiana is a wonderful place to stay in Capri. Its location is perfect, just a short walk to the main plaza and other popular spots. It is still tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. The pool area is beautiful, quiet, and very well maintained, with attentive poolside service that made it even more relaxing. Breakfast was a highlight, not just because the food was delicious, but Antonio’s warm hospitality and attention made each morning feel special. At reception, Martina was exceptional, helping us with restaurant recommendations and plans throughout our stay. She was patient, kind, and incredibly attentive. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for our honeymoon and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and eager to help. Unfortunately, our luggage was lost during travel, but the team went above and beyond to ensure it was tracked down and arranged for it to be delivered to our next hotel—such a relief during what could have been a stressful situation! They also recommended Pulalli restaurant for dinner, and it was an absolute highlight—delicious food with an unforgettable view over the center of Capri. Every morning began with an amazing breakfast and panoramic views that were simply breathtaking. The setting, the service, and the attention to detail made our honeymoon truly special. We can’t thank the team enough and would return in a heartbeat!

A really great introduction to the spirit of Capri! Wonderful service and friendly and helpful staff! Beautiful views! Great breakfast! We were welcomed at check in with much needed ice cold beers upon our walk from the funicular. Would definitely recommend! Nice as well because it isn't in the busiest part of Capri, but is easy and quick to walk anywhere!

I would like to thank everyone at Hotel La Floridiana for an unforgettable stay in Capri. We were kindly upgraded to a stunning sea-view room that was immaculate and so comfortable. The customer service was excellent from start to finish — the front desk, the restaurant team, and even the gentleman who helped with our luggage all went above and beyond. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, enjoyed with breathtaking views of the sea. A true Capri gem — we will definitely return!”

First time in Capri and it didn’t disappoint! First time staying at La Floridiana and what an amazing place! From the moment we checked in with welcome drinks and a guide from Claudia to places of interest around the island we felt at home instantly! Our upgraded room, as a gesture to our 40th wedding celebrations was beautiful, with floral tiled floors and an exquisite sea view. The whole staff including reception, restaurant, kitchen, poolside and cleaners work as a family team to ensure all needs are met. A special mention to Antonio whose efficient, energetic and charming personality embody the ethos of the hotel. We would 100% recommend this gem of a hotel to future Capri visitors Sue and Andy Henderson

Book this hotel! Can’t say enough good things about this property and its staff. The rooms are modern with an old school Italian style. The breakfast is great. Hotel Bussola di Hermes is a charming retreat nestled in the quiet streets of Anacapri, drawing inspiration from Capri's ancient Roman heritage. The hotel exudes an elegant Pompeii-like ambiance with marble floors, opulent drapes, and traditional majolica tiles. Guests can enjoy splendid sea views from some of the laid-back rooms and savor generous breakfasts amidst lush greenery.
I was lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Bussola. Rita and Christian who own the hotel were accommodating in every way along with the attentive, pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel is walking distance from shops and restaurants and a short taxi or bus ride from the port. The rooms were clean and the breakfast is served with love and has something for everyone. I would definitely return to Hotel Bussola!!

The hotel is in a nice location and the receptionists were kind, but overall the experience was disappointing. Breakfast was poor, and one staff member made inappropriate comments and limited what guests could take. There was also no car service upon arrival, despite it being promised. Not good value for money.

Such unbelievably kind staff, I can't remember the last time a hotel offered this much warmth and care. Everyone was incredibly helpful, had useful information to share, and ensured I had a great stay. Comfortable bed, very clean room, and quiet (neighborhood is very calm and quiet while still being close to the main street and bus stops) but you can hear a little bit of the voices of neighboring guests in case you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Great shower with plenty of hot water and strong water pressure, blackout blinds, great heating/cooling, and a nice breakfast in the morning! Will definitely return the next time I'm in Capri!

The service and hospitality is 100 stars. Extremely clean. Right in the heart of town. Friendly people. Great and safe for all family.
SHOWROCK T — Google review
It is aesthetically nice place - an Art Deco style, although far from the center of Anacapri, and they would send a vehicle for you to pick you up from the bus stop. They have good breakfast, too. Unfortunately, their manager Rita was not professional. The matter was that they have some neighbors who do pest extermination in May 2025, and one early morning we woke up from smell and smoke which lasted for several hours - all our belongings smelt with that poisonous thing, and we suffered from headache. I asked the manager Rita to return us money for that night May 9, 2025, but she said that we were stinking ourselves and some other offensive stuff - was much inappropriate, and unexpected, cause she had been good to us before. A very strange and hostile treatment of the guests. Not Italian.

By far one of the coolest hotels we have stayed in! The staff is overly accommodating, and the rooms are fantastic. They did a great job keeping the traditional features of the building while having modern amenities. Breakfast in the morning was included and was great. The pool faces right out to the water and had poolside food and drink service. It was a steep but quick 10 minute walk down to one of the beach clubs and less than 10 minute walk to downtown Capri. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff knows how to welcome the guests. All of the staff is always available to give you the best possible experience. From the first moment we arrived, the hosts managed our luggage along the stairs and a senior looking and undoubtedly cigar loving man, processed us most efficiently through the reception whilst giving us a comprehensive update on the must visits and best places to have lunch and dinner. We felt immediately welcome. An the young multilingual and always kind brunette at the counter booked our perfect spot in what must be the most romantic restaurant on the Island, Il Geranio, overseeing the gardens of Emp. Augustus and the beautiful bay. We enjoyed our stay in a great room, nicely sized and perfectly maintained by an always smiling and very available housekeeping team. The breakfast service was above average but simple at the same time. A nice variety of cereals, pastries, and of course the incontournable mozzarella cheese, veggies and plenty of fresh seasonal fruit made it perfect for me. We spent in between our walks and visits quite some moments enjoying the swimming pool. Our host at the pool, Chris, made us being annual guests. In short, a great ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ experience. Impossible to 'eave this place unsatisfied! Marc and Asïa

Unfortunately this property fell way short of our expectations. For the price, you’d expect way more. However this is probably a 2-3 star hotel at its best. Comforter and headboard were stained when we first walked which just makes you think how well the place is really being cleaned. Then there were clumps of someone else’s hair in our shower. Our room’s AC was broken the first 2 days and due to the extreme heat we could barely sleep at night. The bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed we’ve ever slept on and was so flat and hard it felt like sleeping in a coffin. So many mosquitos on the property, that I had to continuously kill them in our room while getting bit. Overall just a huge disappointment and really wish we had spent our money elsewhere.

Our overall stay was absolutely wonderful. The bartender Chris was especially very welcoming, friendly and always greeted us with a smile. He went out of his way throughout the duration of our stay to accommodate our every needs. The manager Francisco, and Jamaica at the front desk we’re also very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. The pool area was beautiful, and the breakfast buffet was very good. Transportation to and from the port were excellent, and the staff was very well organized. One negative, is our bed was not the most comfortable; however, I would highly recommend this hotel with a five star rating. -Steve and Sharon Frank

We stayed in Relais 2 Pini for our honeymoon & we are so glad we chose this property. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and enjoyable time. Our room was so clean and spacious and the bed was so comfortable and the outdoor Jacuzzi was a great addition! The location is perfect and close to the bus stops that take you to the main part of Capri, although we actually quite preferred staying local in Anacapri in the evening time as we found it quieter and the restaurants are a lot cheaper and there is plenty to do during the day time. We also did the cooking class which was good & the breakfast each morning was delicious. Thank you all for a wonderful stay, we look forward to coming back again soon.

This was a great family run hotel! The location is about 20 minutes from the Capri Port by car. Our room (Mimosa) had a beautiful view from the balcony and was fully equipped. The staff was kind enough to give us a complementary bottle of champagne, as it was our anniversary. We had a private hot tub with the room, which unfortunately didn’t work, but the staff tried to mediate the situation as fast as possible. Great response. There is a small cafe attached the the hotel which offers great breakfast options and excellent drinks, the court yard of the location is stunning. The location is very close, about a 2 minute walk, to the chair lift which brings you to the top of the mountain. Beautiful location!

The hotel is situated in a gorgeous lemon grove. The rooms are air conditioned, stylishly furnished and impeccably clean. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the centre of Anacapri and the bus/taxi terminal, but still enough out of the way of the crowds of tourists to feel calm and romantic. We stayed for four nights and we loved the hotel. The sunset views were unforgettable. Beautiful place! Me and my husband had such a relaxing stay here after three weeks traveling through Italy. I was worried about Anacapri location, but it was so easy to get to the hotel. Our room turned out to be a private Villa with its own jacuzzi. Wonderful friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts and beautiful sunsets! We also would recommend to go to their restaurant for dinner, food was great! Everything we needed for our 3 nights stay in Capri.

I would highly recommend this hotel, and would stay at this hotel again if I were to be back in Capri. 5 out of 5 because: - Interior: You can tell that the hotel was recently renovated. Inside our rooms, everything was brand new and there was great attention to detail. It was an amazing place to unwind after a long day in the heat around the island. Also, the Air Conditioning actually works unlike a bunch of places we’ve been to along the Amalfi coast. - Exterior: Very cool bar area that was mostly glass. The whole hotel was beautiful the hotel is positioned that you can see an amazing sunset from almost anywhere. There are cute plants and roses planted through the hotel! - Breakfast: Breakfast was served like a meal in a restaurant. You can ask for drinks/all types of caffeine. We chose the salty breakfast and came with; croissant, plate of meats and cheese, plate of eggs and also yogurt. It was extremely filling and easy way to start the day. - Location: The location of the hotel is really convenient. It’s a short walk from the main square, no more than two minutes. It’s also very close to the lift to the top of Capri island. - We met the owner, and he was extremely hospitable offering his services where we need them. Like requesting baggage porters to send our luggage to Capri and gave us great recommendations for a good time around the island. - There is a garden where they get fresh spices and vegetables for the meals they prepare at the restaurant.

Villa Ceselle is a refined hotel located in Anacapri, offering elegant rooms with a starting price of $102. It is conveniently situated near the city center and attractions like the cable car for Monte Solaro and Piazza Caprile. My family and I stayed here last week. (Aug 2024) We loved everything about it! The room was very nice, and the staff was very accommodating. The location was great, walking distance to great food and shopping. It was a quiet retreat from the hustle of all the tourism. The breakfast was delicious along with a tasty espresso to get the day started. My daughter accidently left her bag in the taxi that dropped us off at the hotel. A very wonderful staff member made a bunch of calls and tracked it down for her saving the day. We will definitely be back!

Villa Ceselle was so cute! It’s a quiet and relaxing boutique villa with terraces outside of each room. They offered breakfast, a small garden area with benches to relax. If you’re looking for a quieter stay. This is the place for you. Also, Anacapri was much more authentic than capri as far as the small piazza and shopping outside of downtown Anacapri. I would recommend this villa to anyone!

We were here between 01-05.07.2024 and it was wonderful! The breakfast was in the garden next to the whirlpool, the room had a sea view with a small balcony and the air conditioner worked as its best. The room service was everyday and you can also have beverages which you can order via the reception. There is also a free shuttle to a hotel nearby with a big swimming pool, ordering via reception. The hotel is next to the city center of Anacapri (5 minutes by walking) and I would highly recommend Anacapri for coming down from your very day life. Kind regards to the stuff, Sara

I’ve visited Capri many times and this was the worse. The Good The room has AC. The Bad. Basically everything else but especially the service and location. Here is more details about what makes this a bad hotel. Bad location for tourist Not in the cute part of Anacapri Internet doesn’t work well. Not sure it works at all. It never worked for me. However Capri is notorious for bad internet. Receptionist not friendly . Guess I’d sum the reception up as rude beyond believe. Pool: my booking said the property had a pool, but there is no pool . It has a hot tub. Literally. Plugs in room different work with any of the chargers. Which for me as a foreigner it’s feels uncomfortable not to have a phone in case something happens. Both ladies at front were rude beyond believe and when I told them my plans were upset. I’m sorry my plans aren’t to their liking but to each is own. They have access to a pool at another property which they arranged but when I told her I would only stay 2 hours she got upset and said guest stay for the entire day. You should just skip my pool if you will only stay for 2 hours. That instead of using the pool I should just go up have lunch and leave. How does that make sense? Spend money at the pool , not use it and leave. Appeared to me that they wanted to ensure that you spend enough on food and alcohol at the pool. They should sell the sun beds instead of allowing us to use them for 2 hours. The funny part was when we got to the pool it really wasn’t nice at all. Especially for the hype. Avoid. Who is she to tell me what to do and get a nasty attitude because I only want to stay at a pool for two hours. Of all the places I’ve stayed in Capri over the years this was honestly the worse hotel I’ve stayed at in Capri. It’s a skip. She also gave inaccurate information saying there was no ferry from Capri to Possitano. Honestly the worse front desk staff of any hotel I have ever visited both during the day and night. It’s made the staff uncomfortable from entering and when we left we were sad. I don’t think anyone should be treated like this. The pool was disappointing at best. We get to the pool and it’s not even that nice. I guess I’ve stayed to many well run establishments and beautiful properties to consider this pool or hotel acceptable. I would never stay again . I stayed at a hotel half the price near by that was much nicer. I’ve also rented a house in the area which was much nicer than this hotel. The hotel needs new management. I think doing high season in Capri they maybe in over their heads. I hated my stay at this property . The ruined the mood both coming and leaving . I guess the difference is knowing nice from trash. The hotel was inexpensive so maybe they just aren’t used to giving good service. In the end everything worked out but basically getting away from the hotel staff and enjoying the day. We did everything we planed.

Hotel Belvedere e Tre Re is a charming accommodation option located in a prime spot with easy access to the beach and stunning gulf views. The hotel offers comfortable, airy rooms, some of which overlook the picturesque gulf. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast and direct access to the beach. The hotel's convenient location near the port allows for easy exploration of the area, including nearby shops and restaurants.
Such a great location, close to all the harbor shops and marina. Great hotel with breakfast, the owners are friendly and professional. We stayed three days here. It's cheaper if you contact the hotel directly. The restaurants in the harbor are good spots to eat, there is a scooter rental right next to Hotel. TAXIS, AND BUSES 100 FT from hotel, and you are right at the beach and bar below the hotel. Perfect in every way. The beds are comfortable, however no elevator, so you do have the stairs, pack accordingly. IF you arrive before check-in they will house your luggage for you. We check out at 11 am and left our luggage with them for the day. There is a bathroom .50 cent and shower 5.00 euro in the harbor area with Attendant that keeps it clean. So, if you need a shower after you check out and before the ferry arrives, it's a great spot.

Fantastic little hotel just steps from the Ferry Terminal in Capri. The rooms are comfortable and the view from the balcony is fantastic. Price was also very reasonable!

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and I was very pleased. Location is fantastic. I can see the blue see and port from the room and it takes only a few minutes to the port. All staffs are very very very kind. I will remember their kindness with Capri's fantastic view. It's very recommendable to stay this hotel.

Great views, great location. Clean, comfortable beds. But, disgusting shower stall, mold on wall under AC, non-locking safe, indifferent customer service. Highly disappointing.
Mark S — Google review
This is a fair place to stay (considering the prices of Capri), but the family-small business crew is so sweet you should stay there to support them! Breakfast is served when you enter the restaurant, the waiter will be there at your service. Location is amazing if you want to know the whole island and have little time.

Definitely not a 2 star hotel by definition. The hotel is in a great location in Marina Grande and steps from the tram, bus depot, and ferry port. The staff was excellent and we felt very welcome. The view is enough of a reason to stay here.

Hotel Bellavista Anacapri is a warm and welcoming hotel offering down-to-earth rooms with balconies, free breakfast, and parking. The location is central, just 2 or 3 minutes from the taxi stop and ATC buses for Capri, Marina Piccola, and Marina Grande. The building is surrounded by gardens with lemon trees and other flora. It's well-connected and offers great views of the area.
Great location, nice spacious rooms, super clean and absolutely amazing views. The hotel is 100+ years old but it doesn't show at all. A decent breakfast was included, and it was possible to order drinks and coffee for aperitivo. Definitely recommended.
Caio — Google review
Bellavista Hotel is a very nice place. The views are beautiful a d authentic. The hotel has a charming mid-century atmosphere, with typical ceramic floors and tasteful furnishings — far more character than the average contemporary hotel. For the connoisseur, there’s a clear touch of Gio Ponti inspiration. Rooms are simple yet spacious, with a pleasant atmosphere and a hot tub. The staff is genuinely friendly — it truly feels like a family-run hotel where everyone is ready to help. For example, we asked about renting a boat, and within less than five minutes they had arranged a reservation for us, sparing us from the usual tourist traps. In the evening, you can enjoy a cocktail at sunset in an intimate setting — a perfect way to end the day. Breakfast could be a little more varied, as it feels somewhat basic, but the stunning view from your morning table more than compensates. The front garden is very nice, while the back garden could be a bit better maintained. Stay here if you want to be close to Anacapri’s center, enjoy an authentic family-style atmosphere with astonishing sea-view and avoid overpaying at 3 stars Capri hotels that offer little more in return.
Sigmund B — Google review
I don’t understand why this hotel is only rated three stars. It was my second time visiting Capri and I chose to stay here again. The hotel looks even better than in the pictures—it’s very clean and more beautiful than you'd expect. Some of the rooms are newly renovated too. The best part, though, was the service from the three ladies at the front desk. They were super nice and always ready to help. They met every request with a smile and made sure we were comfortable, giving us tips about the area and helping us get around. I would definitely give this hotel five stars for its great location, friendly service, and beautiful surroundings. The views from every side are amazing. If you're going to Capri, I highly recommend this place; it feels like a second home.

Amazing only for the tourists. Ugly ppl. No empathy. Manipulative with the artists that offered her a great service. About to exhibit for her location. My advice. They did not respect a contract four street artists. Pay attention🥹
Lorena I — Google review
Decent rooms in a good location but staff was horrid, extremely mean, and used terms like “education zero”. They did not have the manners to speak to guests. I’d avoid this hotel in the future and recommend the same.
Yojit M — Google review
This was a great place to escape the hustle and bustle. However, the breakfasts were less than expected and what we found in the rest of Italy. Nonetheless, the nearby town had tons of character and certainly worth a visit.

Disappointing Experience – No Air Conditioning and Poor Response I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Despite the high temperatures during our visit, the room had no air conditioning. When we asked the staff to help improve the temperature, they brought us a dirty fan and told us the temperature was controlled outside the room and there was nothing else they could do. This lack of comfort and unwillingness to resolve the issue left us no choice but to leave the hotel early, cutting our plans short and skipping our stay in Capri altogether. For the price we paid and the expectations for accommodations in Capri, this was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel unless you’re comfortable with poor ventilation, no climate control, and unhelpful service

Hotel Bougainville Capri is a charming 4-star hotel located in Anacapri, just a short walk from the historic center and close to a bus stop for easy access to Capri. The hotel offers a beautiful swimming pool and clean, comfortable rooms. Guests can enjoy a good breakfast, although some felt it lacked savory options. The staff is described as friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service.
Easy check-in to the hotel. Unfortunately, upon using the shower/bathtub, we found that it leaked into our room. Once we notified the front desk, they promptly moved us into a comparable room and took time to rearrange the room so that my wife and I could share a bed. Hotel is in a great part of anacapri that's convenient to the island. I highly recommend it

Hotel has good location if you wish to stay close to Anacapri & restaurants on that area. Room was clean, and the hotel staff helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the lady who was organizing the breakfast, her positive personality made our mornings :) It is nice that this hotel has a pool, even it was quite small. Can recommend staying here!

I stayed here a few months ago. The rooms are ok. The Wi-Fi sucked. The owner was incredibly rude and vindictive. I felt bad for his employees too. Honestly don't know why people like him are in the service industry if they can't manage customer complaints. I would never recommend anyone staying here with this type of management. Please stay elsewhere or be ready to experience unprofessionalism and rudeness.
Shar N — Google review
The most horrible room ever! Room was creepy I Didn’t sleep. I kept hearing noises, also as if rain drops sound from the ceiling although there was no rain. I was hearing everything from the room next to me as if it was in my own room! I called them at midnight to ask about the noises they told me they can’t change the room it’s full. And They took no action other than apologizing!
Zeina H — Google review
I was there in September and it was a horrible experience. First the room was noisy and also the WiFi didn't work in our room. They only had one clothes iron in the hotel and it didn't work. Breakfast is very limited to cakes and bread some cold boiled eggs. Teas and bread etc nothing special. The older owner was rude and couldn't care less for the wifi issue and also tried to accuse me of trying to break his electric shades. On checkout the owner accused me of writing a bad review on trip advisor which i don't subscribe to. He then refused to drive me and my wife to the marina and said we weren't welcome there.... This was the absolutely worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Not sure how this is a 4 star hotel and the management is horribly unprofessional. Please stay away and if you have an issue there be careful because they don't care and will yell at you or accuse you for something you didn't do. There are plenty of other hotels around this one. As you can read from their reply they are extremely unprofessional. Please stay at your own risk.
Shaker M — Google review
Extremely poor customer service. Do NOT recommend staying there. I forgot a belonging in my room which I asked the reception to ship to me (obviously I covered the cost + extra). The reception did not enter the correct shipping address, acknowledged they made a mistake, then radio silence. They do not answer the phone or emails and do not want to fix their mistake. I suspect they might not even have shipped my belonging. Scam hotel.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. From the gentleman who picked us up at the Marina to the breakfast, front desk and housekeeping staff -everyone was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very (very) bad experience with this hotel. We had a booking for 1 night, unfortunately the local authorities blocked access to the island due to a water supply problem, making it impossible to reach the island for the whole day (all ferries were cancelled). However, the hotel, aware of the situation, didn't want to hear about it and charged us for the whole night, indicating that it was not at all their problem, and that we lied about the fact the access was closed from where were (Amalfi). I do not recommend at all.

The property boasts a panoramic sea-view location and spacious rooms equipped with air conditioning, outdoor dining areas, and free WiFi. Guests praise the exceptional service provided by Giuliano and his family, who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.
Amazing place! We loved our stay here and wished it was longer. The host Giuliano was so nice and helped us with any questions we had. The room was cleaned every day and the wifi worked great. The place had an amazing view to watch the sunset ☀️ A great bonus was the breakfast which was very affordable and had a healthy options (which was rare during our trip). 10/10 stay :)

Once I arrived the host Giuliano picked me up from the ferry & guided me on what to see and where to eat. If it wasn’t for him I would have just wondered around and missed out. I’d definitely come back.

We had an unforgettable stay at Il Paradiso di Capri, and a big part of that was thanks to Giuliano, the most amazing host we’ve ever met. He truly made us feel better than at home, from the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond. He picked us up at the port, arranged a private island tour at a great rate, and shared countless local recommendations that made our trip even more special. The views from the B&B are simply breathtaking. You don’t even need to leave the property to enjoy the sunset, the location is perfect. Whether you're relaxing by the pool or enjoying a traditional dinner from a delicious regional menu on the stunning terrace, every moment feels magical. An outstanding experience with excellent value for money. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be coming back!
David R — Google review
My wife and I had a great stay here. Giuliano, the host, went above and beyond. He’s truly what made this stay special. He very communicative and will converse in English, Spanish, Italian. He picked us up from the port and gave us advice on things to do in the island and how to get around by bus in order to avoid costly taxi rides. He was very friendly and welcoming, and even scheduled us a last minute private boat tour. On our check out day, he shuttled us back to the port with all our bags (8 euros per person which was not expensive at all considering other options). We stayed at Il Faro room, which was near the pool on the property and the terrace, where Giuliano’s mom cooks dinner at night if you wish to reserve dinner at the BnB. Breakfast is also included in the mornings. The dinner was fantastic and the terrace has an amazing view of the ocean and sunset. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and include a mini bar fridge. The AC was also very cold, which was perfect, this was the only time in Italy we were not hot at night! Yes, the BnB is a bit far from the ports and centers, but it is a great location if you want some peace and quiet relaxing time. It is also very easy to get around on the bus or cab, or even walk down the steps from Anacapri center to Capri center (about 30 mins and 1000 steps! But definitely worth it for the views)
Javier G — Google review
What a wonderful stay! From check-in to check-out, Giuliano's personalized service was incredible. He arranged our transfer to and from the property and ferry port (Luca was awesome) as well as a dinner reservation nearby where the food was incredible with a stunning sunset view and shuttle to and from. Giuliano even sat down with us upon check-in with a map to explain the area! We chose to stay in Anacapri to relax off the beaten path and far from the tourist crowds by the ferry port — everything was so quiet and lovely! The pool was serene. Our Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View had everything we needed. There is also a bus stop nearby to reach Anacapri and Capri. 100% recommend!

Giuliano and his mum were amazing hosts. Giuliano continuously went out of his way to help make the most of our time in capri and gave some really good suggestions (including great restaurant suggestions). Great value for money with some really nice people.

Giuliano was the most accommodating and helpful host we could have wished for. We had a lovely room with a stunning terrace, very clean. We would recommend to have dinner on his panorama terrace, the home made ravioli caprese were delicious. We did not had to worry about anything which made our days on Capri even nicer.
Paula D — Google review
Amazing B&B in Anacapri. Pleasantly surprised. The service from Giuliano and his family was amazing from the start and the pick up from the pier. We wanted to stay an extra night due to the location and service we received but they were fully booked. Giuliano did however go out of his way to find us another apartment near by with a similar view. Better service than some 4 star resorts. The room was small but it did have everything we needed including mini fridge /bar and a small safe. A/C worked amazing especially with the heat wave that was passing through. The breakfast area/ evening dinner area was small but gave an amazing view of the sea and sunset. We decided to see it from the pool area. We would definitely book this place again and will make sure to book in advance.

Nestled in the heart of Anacapri, Villa Pollio is a delightful guesthouse that captures the essence of island charm. Just steps away from Piazza Edwin Cerio and a short stroll to Villa San Michele, this inviting retreat features tastefully decorated whitewashed rooms, some with private terraces for added relaxation. Guests rave about the warm hospitality provided by Fabio and his wife, who create an atmosphere that feels like home.
We had a great stay at Villa Pollio in Anacapri. The rooms were perfectly clean and had everything you need (towels, shampoo, air conditioning), the location was directly in the city center of Anacapri and the service was great! 10/10!
Sophie B — Google review
I am utterly disappointed with Villa Pollio Hotel. Due to a force majeure situation, where the island closed because of a water shortage, we were unable to even reach the hotel. Despite this being entirely out of our control, the hotel refused to refund our money. Our interactions with Fabio, the person managing the hotel, were appalling. Not only did he insult us over the phone when we tried to discuss our refund, but he also has a habit of responding to other negative reviews by accusing them of being fake. These reviews are genuine and reflect the truth of our experiences. To make matters worse, we didn't even use his hotel because we couldn't get on the island. Given that we never stayed there, we don't see why he won’t even refund us a little bit. Fabio's behavior is completely unacceptable, and this whole ordeal has been extremely frustrating. We are still fighting to get our money back and warn others to avoid Villa Pollio Hotel. Don't let yourself be scammed and insulted like we were. Find a more reputable place to stay.
Alfons B — Google review
SCAM!!!!! We were supposed to arrive at Villa Pollio on June 22nd and stay for two nights. Unfortunately, due to a government-mandated water shortage on the island, no tourists were allowed to enter. This left us in a dire situation with no place to sleep for the next two days. Despite this being an unforeseen and uncontrollable event, the hotel refused to reimburse us. We called several times, but Fabio, the manager, was incredibly unhelpful and even hung up on us. Instead of offering a refund, he only provided a voucher, which is useless to us as students who do not plan to return to this destination. Instead of calmly discussing a compromise, he resorted to screaming at us, which is completely unacceptable. It's worth mentioning that there is another review here detailing the same issue, to which the manager responded by claiming it was untrue. We can confirm that we experienced the exact same situation, and it seems other guests are also facing this problem. This indicates a pattern of behavior where the management is effectively stealing people’s money. Considering the high price of Villa Pollio, this behavior is absolutely unacceptable. There are plenty of nicer hotels on this island with far better customer service. We highly advise against staying at this hotel. Their lack of empathy, extreme rudeness, and unwillingness to find a fair compromise in such a difficult situation are appalling. Avoid this place at all costs.

The hotel is located right in the center of Anacapri. I have never been emotional about leaving a hotel before, but this one left me feeling like I was leaving a good friend. Fabio and his wife were genuinely warm and welcoming hosts. The hotel was clean and had an unassuming charm. Breakfast was fabulous, fresh simple, tasty with great coffee. What more can I say….this hotel and its hosts left me feeling rather in love with my island experience! Muriel and jim

I absolutely loved it here. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, and can't do enough for you. The room is very clean and well decorated, with a decent size balcony. It's situated well in the middle of Anacapri where there is plenty to do, with transport very close by to go to Capri or other parts of the island. Would highly recommend staying here!

Do not recommend at all. GM does not reply to my e-mails - unacceptable in hospitality business. Villa Mediterranea Capri is a part of Tiberio Palace - the same property - 1 building. Staff was unhelpful. My anniversary trip was spoiled. Had to change to another 5 star hotel on the island. Anyway, I filed a complain through EU ECC (European Consumer Center) and the management did not reply - poor service. Unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Never again.
