Restaurant
Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman in Wailea, Maui is a farm-to-table restaurant and bar that offers Hawaiian cuisine, beer, and cocktails in a laid-back setting. It's a hit with both tourists and locals, especially the Whalers Village location which is always bustling. The signature Monkeypod Mai Tai made with two types of rum, lime, macadamia nut orgeat, orange curacao, and honey-lilikoi foam is not to be missed.
We had a great experience here recently. The place was busy, but even as a party of 6 we were seated quickly. Most of us indulged in their famous Mai Tais, delicious. The gluten-free options are limited, but our server was knowledgeable about gluten and said the kitchen could support a variety of options. We got the roast chicken wings and fish tacos. Both were very good. While we didn't indulge in cream pie for dessert, our gluten eating friends had slices of the banana and strawberry cream pies. They said they were delicious.

We dined here on our honeymoon and we loved the experience! The ambiance of the restaurant was really fun and it was cool to see all the various cocktails and things on the menu. We got truffle fries and some type of ravioli to start… loved the fries but would not recommend the ravioli. It was a weird texture and overpoweringly cheesy. The drinks and margaritas pizza were great, too! We came for happy hour and our waiter was great! We did feel a little forgotten about at the end of our meal, but it was starting to pick up a ton by that time as it transitioned to dinner time.

A beautiful restaurant with delicious locally themed dishes and a staff that is efficient, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant is comfortably decorated in a modern tropical theme. Tables and booths are available and are spaced so that you're not on top of other visitors. A large bar offers comfortable counter service. Tables are also available on an outside patio. We have never needed to make reservations. However, during busier times of the year and for large groups it would probably be smart to make arrangements. A free parking lot is available adjacent to the restaurant.

My husband and I were in Maui last week for our honeymoon and we came to Monkeypod twice during our stay. The first night I got the famous mai tai and it was delicious. I’m not even really a fan of sour/sweet cocktails, but the foam on this one really made it special and more decadent. We tried several items, but we especially loved the sashimi tacos, beef bulgogi tacos, and the gyoza. All were exceptional! If we are ever back in Maui we will definitely come back again!
Kelsey P — Google review
Overall a good experience. The major negative was the kitchen service fee. Is that your credit card fee? Enforced kitchen staff tip? What gives? At these prices, that's just a money grab. Shame on you. Anyway, kiddo had fish & chips. He's not discerning and ate it all. Husband had the chicken. No complaints but nothing spectacular. I had the mahi mahi. It was good but not great. Fancy Mai Tai was very good but I have now had a better one at another restaurant in town. Service was great. So that matched the prices. It was okay but you can get the same food and drinks elsewhere for less.
Ewa C — Google review
Great foodie spot in Maui for anyone wanting a solid, flavor packed meal! I had many fiends recommend trying Monkeypod on top of the local reputation this place carries. I highly encourage everyone to make a reservation as this place gets booked up very quickly, even on a weekday. For those without a reservation, I heard the hostess tell someone it would be over an hour before getting seated. (Just a heads up!) The food was very good, overall! The entrees in particular. I had the bulgogi beef tacos and my partner ordered the gnocchi. Both were exceptional! The tacos were drizzled in a chile aioli, a fresh chile, and some crunchy veg. Truly one of the best tacos I’ve had in a really long time. At first I thought the dish was small for the price, but they’re packed and I left very full. My mouth still waters thinking about this meal! My partner who orders the gnocchi feels the same way. His dish was rich, filling, and balanced by the addition of veg. He said to me “oh, so this is how gnocchi are supposed to taste!” Once you’ve had these light, fluffy pillows you can’t go back to the rubbery version most restaurants serve. My partner also remarked he enjoyed this dish so much he’d be hard pressed to order or try anything else! However, we both felt the same about the tortilla soup - it was underwhelming. It was too spicy and not balanced by anything. It wasn’t super hot when severed and I’d not order it again. Given how great the entrees were this appetizer should be reconsidered or removed from the menu. The atmosphere is laid back, feels casual, and very loud. The evening we dined inside it was packed and I could barely hear my partner talk. If this bothers you then you walk may want to ask about outdoor dining. Also, due to how busy the night was, the staff tried turning tables over very quickly which lead to small missteps in service. For example, the guys busing the tables wiped food onto the seats and left it there for the next diner to clean or possibly sit on. On a brighter note, when I used the restroom I did witness a staff member wash their hands for a full minute and avoid touching the door handle upon exit! 🎉👏 Love seeing good hygiene practices! The service was great the entire evening. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, described the dishes in great detail, which was very helpful in making our menu selections. Overall, I’d highly recommend making a reservation and making Monkeypod part of your Maui visit! It was easily one of my favorite meals during the whole trip and I’d absolutely go back!

We dined at Monkeypod three times during our 7 nights in Wailea, and each visit was incredible! The food is absolutely outstanding, but what made our experience unforgettable was the service—especially from our server, Ryan. We had him the first night we visited and again before heading to the airport, and he is simply amazing. The way he describes the food and drinks, his warmth and professionalism—it’s service like we’ve never experienced before. Our last meal at Monkeypod was the perfect send-off from Maui. Thank you, Ryan, for the exceptional hospitality—we hope to see you again in the future!
Emily B — Google review
Overall good review. They will tell you to come on in without a reservation but expect a 30 min wait. When you go to buy a drink at the bar while you’re waiting the bartender will abruptly direct you to a line to order a drink which felt strange. I had the fish and chips which was very good. My wife had a pizza which was very limp and wet and wasn’t great but not horrible. Our waiter was outstanding once we got to our table. Their prices are very fair for the food, the drinks are a little pricey. And the Mai Tai is as good as rumored.

Nestled within the stunning Grand Wailea Resort, Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa is a captivating beachfront eatery that immerses guests in a Polynesian paradise. This enchanting restaurant features a charming thatched roof and overlooks a serene saltwater lagoon teeming with vibrant tropical fish. Named after Hawaii's beloved state fish, it offers diners the unique experience of selecting their own lobster from the lagoon or indulging in an array of delectable Hawaiian and Polynesian meat and seafood dishes.
We visited this restaurant twice for dinner during our week stay & it was wonderful! The staff were extremely kind from the hostesses to every interaction throughout our dinner. The views were immaculate! Our server DIANE was lovely, so lovely we requested her the second time we visited! She was very knowledgeable of the menu, and was extremely attentive. Her suggestions were excellent & we had an amazing experience both times. 100/10!!

My fiancé made a reservation here after our proposal and the service and food here was impeccable. The hostesses were soo excited for us and had me show off the ring and take pictures. They were so sweet. They provided free prosecco and a small amuse-Bouche for us to try as well. Overall the servers were very attentive and gave us recommendations according to what we liked and also what they liked. We had a table side view of the water which was nice. Our food was very good. I believe I had bass and my fiancé had filet mignon. We also ordered Brussel sprouts which were very good. Overall, everybody here at humuhumunukunukuapua’a made our special day even more memorable

We had an incredible dinner at Humuhumunukunukuāpua‘a! The service was outstanding — honestly some of the best we’ve ever experienced anywhere. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had our drinks out almost immediately. We started with the crab cakes, which were absolutely delicious — crisp on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. For our entrées, we had the salmon and the catch of the day, both beautifully prepared and perfectly cooked. My wife felt the dishes were a little on the salty side, but that was really the only minor complaint from an otherwise fantastic meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, great food, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

This food was fantastic. The only draw back was the price. It was so incredibly expensive that it caught us off gaurd but it was so wonderful. I got the scallops which were cooked to perfection. My husband got the pork which was dynamite. Had the prices been a little more affordable, we likely wouldv'e tried the steak. The ambiance was beautiful and our server, Michael, was wonderful.

A review of breakfast only** This restaurant is the self described best place for breakfast here at the Waldorf Astoria and the food selection and atmosphere does not disappoint. Being a part of Hilton, the hostess knew we were on our honeymoon and congratulated us, definitely a nice touch. As she walked us to our table, she explained what foods were where, as this buffet style breakfast was all over the restaurant. It is very clear that the space was not designed for buffet style. Where things took an odd turn was our server, who seemed quite flustered and pulled in many directions. The one speciality drink we ordered was an iced Chai latte, which was incorrectly made hot. We let our server know that it was wrong but there was no need to fix it (not a huge deal for us), but what was odd was the hot Chai came in the same wine style glass which the water came in. Therefore, my wife needed to use a napkin to hold the glass as it was too hot. Finally, you are definitely paying resort prices by going here. Breakfast is a wopping $62 per person, not including the Chai latte, with a tip on top. Needless to say, those with hilton gold or diamond status will not have their food and beverage credit get very far here.

Spectacular evening with great food and an incredible view. Staff were attentive and friendly. They do have offerings for kids that weren't your typical kid's menu options but that kids will still enjoy. The atmosphere was busy but not so much that it detected from the experience. You could easily still build conversations and enjoy the view. It's on the resort property so you're going to pay resort prices but it was reasonably when you factored in the food and the experience. Food came out quickly and was presented well. Everything was delicious.

Fantastic bar like no where else. A massive salt water tank is the actual barm fantastic cocktails and the steak was incredible. Joe was a great bartender and made our visit extremely enjoyable. This is a must visit.
Kristopher L — Google review
The last time I dined here was when the lobster & crab fishing baskets were in use (2000's?). You'll still see it on display in the middle of the restaurant just past the bar on your way to the back. You could choose your crustacean from the pool below and it'd be hoisted up to you before heading for death row. ATMOSPHERE: It's still a beautiful open air restaurant, with high thatched roofs, warm lighting & woods, surrounded by a manmade lagoon and gorgeous sunset views. Be sure to check out the renovated bar with a built-in salt water aquarium countertop. I'd hate to be the one to clean that thing! Low top chair back cushions were uncomfortably thin. RESERVATIONS: Recommended as they're busy especially for dinner. PARKING: Valet is your only option and the restaurant is far from the lobby, so plan accordingly. MENU: American surf & turf with an extensive wine list. BEVERAGE: One Island Wish Vodka-based cocktail that's mildly sweet, a bit tart and sported some heat. FOOD: Kona Crab Cake (1 pc.) Honestly, THE best crab cake I've ever eaten. Simplicity at its best with a breaded crust, loads of finely shredded crab meat and no fillers. Tasted even better with the included crunchy greens. Everyone at the table agreed, highly recommended! But at $32 for a small-sized piece... Daily Catch Swordfish was the offering. Adequately-sized tender & moist filet, nicely seasoned. You won't miss having a starch as the chunky chickpeas mixed into the creamy sauce provided for a great low carb alternative. Some steamed or sautéed veggies would've been a nice accompaniment rather than the topping of slivered bell pepper. DESSERT: Espresso Martini Sometimes, you just gotta drink your dessert. Delish, textbook recipe. SERVICE: We had a small hiccup with our party's count but it was remedied. Male server went above & beyond when explaining the menu, with good overall service. We finished up around 10pm with multiple servers congregating at a nearby table, talking amongst themselves with obvious glances at us to leave. Even the overhead music stopped. Funny thing is, there was still another party dining in another corner of the restaurant as we left. Hopefully they didn't get an evening-ruining send off as we did. OVERALL: An otherwise 5-star experience was humbled by inflated pricing and the unprofessional feeling of being rushed out by staff members at the end of our dinner.

NICKS FISHMARKET is an upscale seafood restaurant located in the Fairmont Kealani Maui, offering a lush garden setting and a seafood-driven menu. The restaurant features a curved granite bar, glass wine display, and Mediterranean-inspired details that exude elegance. However, the interior decor with ocean-themed fabric upholstery and shell-shaped lighting fixtures may appear slightly outdated. One of the prominent attractions is an 800-gallon fish tank that adds to the ambiance.
The restaurant is set in a beautiful hotel garden right next to a small, peaceful beach. I recommend coming around sunset, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the view. The cocktails and food were amazing, especially the Nick’s Sunset, a tropical fruit juice and rum blend. The seafood tower was also great, with a nice variety of fresh seafood. I wouldn’t recommend the scallops, they were overly salty. The strawberries Panzin dessert didn’t stand out in flavor, but it was creative and visually impressive, perfect for a date night.

Chris and Eric (bartenders) were incredible! They truly made our night with their stories, jokes, and recommendations. We really felt at home. Could not have asked for a better duo at the bar that night. Thanks guys!

This restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience, with truly unique dishes that showcase exceptional creativity. Every pairing on the menu, like the brulee with port wine, is thoughtfully curated and absolutely delightful. Trust the chef—there’s no need for modifications, as each dish is crafted to perfection. If you're looking for a place that knows exactly how to balance flavor, artistry, and innovation, this is it.

Excellent seafood and even the Filet Mignon was great. The steak had great flavor and was very tender. Staff had no issues substituting side dishes. The atmosphere is great and most seats have a view of the pool area and ocean.
Peter E — Google review
I would say I’m a little disappointed in this place based on how much the bill was. The lamb chops were absolutely phenomenal, however, the filet was a little disappointing. The filet was a bit dry and simply nothing special. Also, the service was a bit too slow for my tastes. It was around 15 mins after we were seated that our server came over to greet us and there was a noticeable wait for food and drinks to arrive at the table. It’s not our servers fault as it seemed that he was running around all night with all of his different tables. But my last impression of this place was their macadamia nut brownie sunday and let me tell you that it made it all worth it!
Christina J — Google review
This spot has so much potential and great service. I’m sure it’s easy for many guests in the hotel but WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you’re staying off property. Many other good options. Biggest thing for us was small portions. My dish had 3 small tortellinis… I repeat 3… decent flavors but at least normal size portions should be there for the $$$$.

This was an unforgettable dinner experience, from service to food- everything was of superior quality. Our special occasion, honeymoon, was acknowledged by all staff members which I thought was so sweet. While very expensive, dinner here is a lovely experience. Our server, I believe his name was Shane, was top notch. The food was so good, our steaks were cooked perfectly, and the drinks were absolutely phenomenal. We will always remember our dinner here! Thank you!

My wife and I stayed at the Four Seasons on our honeymoon and were fortunate enough to have a few fantastic restaurants on property, including Duo. We came in later in the night without any reservations and they were very accommodating seating us very quickly. Our server Beau was awesome he was giving us the low down on the menu, what’s popular for food and drink selections. My wife and I got the King Crab legs, Curry, crab cake, oysters, filet with the peppercorn cause (must try), and the catch of the day. He coursed it out perfectly for us to enjoy an unforgettable dining experience. Sitting outside under the patio with the fountains from the pool and the tiki torches setting an unforgettable atmosphere. To top everything off the gave us a chocolate desert to celebrate our special occasion. Thank you Beau and the rest of the staff at Duo, truly at 5 star experience I’d highly recommend stopping in, we will be back next time we’re in Maui!

DUO Steakhouse at the Four Seasons hands down the best restaurant I visited during my trip to Maui. From the food to the views and service, everything was a 10/10 so good I had to come back a second time. To start, I highly recommend the DUO wedge salad great flavor and a perfect appetizer. The crispy Brussels sprouts and roasted mushrooms were also solid sides to share. On my first visit, I had the dry-aged bone-in ribeye (rare). Personally not my type of cut , it was mostly fat and pretty chewy, so not my favorite cut. The wagyu truffle burger was ok. But on my second visit… I had the Australian Wagyu and the Snake River Farms American Wagyu Flat Iron, and both were incredible tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend those if you’re going for steak. Also the Roasted Shallot Jus is a must sauce for the steak. For sides, the garlic truffle fries provably my favorite thing crispy, rich, and great with the steaks. As for dessert, the soufflé cheesecake was my favorite light, fluffy, and just sweet enough. I also tried the Chocolate Macadamia Torte, which was good too, though a bit too chocolatey (if you’re not into rich chocolate, maybe go for something lighter). Overall, DUO is a must-visit if you’re staying in Wailea or nearby. Great food and amazing Four Seasons service. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip.

We ordered the tomahawk which was delicious and cooked to perfection/ seasoned well. The only dissappointment is frozen lobster being used.service is fine dining. Servers attentive. King crab leg was a teaser but yummy and fresh. Spent over 200$ but everything was flavorful woth no issues with meal we ordered.
Briella — Google review
Duo for our anniversary was an incredible place to dine. The experience starts from the entrance to your exit. Everyone will genuinely greet you. Our waitress was amazing and took excellent care of us without interrupting my wife and my conversations. We had looked at the menu before arriving and had a general idea of what we wanted, but their whisky list was chocked full of unicorns. This gave me a chance to try the Parker series limited release. The bartender and our waitress kindly allowed me to photo the bottle for my tasting list. The food was seasoned well and exquisitely prepared. Beet Carpaccio was flavorful with burrata cheese and candied walnuts. The King crab legs were huge and we could have them warm or cold (we chose cold, but with warm butter), the ribeye and tuna were well seasoned giving them some amazing depth of flavor worthy of any high end restaurant (our compliments to the chef), and desert was special. With most restaurants being of equal billing in the resorts of Wailea, Duo stands out for the highest quality, greatest of service, and worth the expense! We will definitely be back on our next visit

Amazing view overlooking pool and beach during sunset, Hawaiian/asian fusion with super interesting and thought out flavors and combinations. Type of place where you just trust the menu and the chefs to give you the best bites of your life. Every single part of this meal, from the drinks to the apps to the main course was absolutely divine. Heaven on earth.

Our server John provided exceptional service helping us understand the menu. He was very tentative, ensuring we always had water and drinks filled. The food was delicious, the farm to table concept came alive here, offering fresh and local ingredients from around the island. Between the four of us who dined, we shared our food, having the chance to taste more than what we ordered. Highly recommend sharing and here are some highlighted menu options: Grilled Octopus Salad, Coconut Clams, Waygu Hanger, Watermelon Salad (Apps), Risotto, Seared Scallops, Maui Caught Fish (Entrees). I wanted to extend a special thank you to John and Mike for an enjoyable dinner service and experience, the live music from below provide a special touch to an amazing dinner.

We had the most incredible dinner at Ka’ana Kitchen during our honeymoon stay, hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Our server John deserves a huge shout-out, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. He made us feel so welcome and guided us perfectly through our selections. His recommendations were spot-on! We ordered the Wagyu steak and the chef’s choice fish, and both were absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was beautifully balanced, rich, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen puts so much thought and care into each dish. The atmosphere was elevated yet relaxed, and it truly captured that Maui magic, intimate, open, and full of aloha. If you’re visiting the island, Ka’ana Kitchen is an absolute must. Thank you again to John and the entire team for making our evening unforgettable! 🌺🍷✨

Excellent dinner and we received good service from David. Food was served promptly and plates removed as we finished. Eclectic menu and a good wine selection. Beet salad was sweet with crispy kale. The wagyu striploin was good but not extraordinary. The moonfish was in a slightly spicy sauce.

Excellent! Been coming to Maui for years and always a bit disappointed with the food, but this place was the one! Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but with the setting and location, I expect that. Food, drinks, service all worth the 5 stars! We will be back next time on the island!

The atmosphere is amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and it was delicious. The staff is so kind and sweet. Both the hostess at the front and our server were amazing . Last thing my coffee. It was so great. They were amazing and such a great part of our experience. Worth every dollar!

From the moment we walked in and were greeted warmly by the hostess, we knew it would be a special night. The glow of the small lamps on each table on the patio and the music coming from down below added to the ambiance. Our waiter John had great cocktail suggestions as well as wine pairings with our meal. We started by sharing the Caesar salad with tuna- delish! Then on to the pasta with lobster and over the top lamb shank. Could not finish it all. The manager Matt came by and we appreciated the conversation. Great meal- recommend highly.

Restaurant
Lineage is a casual and modern restaurant that offers a blend of Filipino and Hawaiian family recipes, along with a traveling dim-sum cart. Located in the upscale Shops at Wailea, Lineage stands out for its authentic food and inviting atmosphere. The menu has evolved to include Korean and Chinese flavors, featuring shareable dishes like Korean fried chicken, garlic Szechuan noodles, and wagyu kalbi short rib with roasted bone marrow.
This was one of our first meals in Maui and it was pretty tasty. We got lucky with making same day reservations and got seated rather quickly as they opened. The drinks are tasty here, I went with the Neko, but I think my friends pandan cocktail was really good. The fried chicken and the kimchi clam dip was delicious. The lobster noodles also tasted fantastic.

High hopes met with a big let down! Mediocre food experience in Wailea met with a clumsy night of service. Service: My partner and I had one of the only open reservations at Lineage which was at the bar. I was greeted outside with a friendly face and promptly shown to my seat after being checked in. At the beginning of service a server dropped a glass at the end of the bar. In trying to clean up the shattered glass he dropped a second glass that shattered everywhere. A different server (bartender) dropped our porcelain soup spoon which shattered on the floor as well. This time, I watched the bartender rinse her hand for all of two seconds before making drinks again. I mean, it’s really quite simple - if you touch the dirty floor then wash your hands with soap and warm/hot water for at minimum 30 seconds. It helps prevent customers from getting sick. This did not happen!! During one of the courses my partner was given a clean plate and set of silverware, but this did not happen for any of the other courses. A manager was helping clear a table where a young family with many small kids dropped napkins, and food, all over the floor. The manager put floor napkins onto the table top. One word: gross. A server, yes, did wipe the table down, but used all of a whisper of sanitizer. Why take the risk of transferring germs onto the table and possibly get people sick? Poor practices that are aimed at quick table turnover and do not prioritize safe practices. Upon leaving, you have to exit near the kitchen and a server bustling out of the kitchen nearly crashed into me trying to leave. Whoever designed the restaurant made a mistake by putting the entrance and exit door right by the kitchen. This is a disaster waiting to happen! The hosts said goodbye to me but when my partner came out separately he was totally ignored. Overall, what I’m aiming to point out is the service was clumsy and ensconced with poor health practices. Atmosphere: The indoor dining area is rather intimate. Dim lights, sleek surfaces warmed with a lot of wood tones. The chairs at the bar were comfortable. Keep in mind, the night of my dinner there were several families with small kids, but I found the restaurant to be quite loud. Listening to kids scream and cry throughout service took away from enjoying the venue and dinner. I quickly strolled through one of the art galleries that was still open after my meal. When making my way back I passed by the restaurant to see the host sitting down smoking a vape pen. There’s a lot of little details that just went wrong during my visit. These details make cheapen the experience and feel of the restaurant. Food: I ordered three courses: the ox tail soup, garlic noodles, and fried cauliflower. The food did not resonate with me. I found the presentation of the soup to be wonderful, but lacking balance. The bread was served on a wooden dish that served as a lid for the soup. The broth was incredibly sweet and could have been balanced with some heat. There was a lot of free floating fat in the dish which I did not enjoy with each bite of the oxtail. I did find the meat to be very tender! I feel there was a missed opportunity for a reveal. You have a lid that gets taken off at the table, so it might be a wow moment if the soup was lightly smoked - serving more of an aromatic versus flavor for the soup. The garlic noodles were definitely oozing with garlic flavor, but were rather dry. The tiny bit of sprouts on the top were undetectable once mixed in and added next to nothing to the dish. Again, I feel this course was lacking balance. Garlic without the balance of salt, heat, acid, or fat is one note and boring. The cauliflower was tempura fried on the florets, covered in a curry sauce and topped with what they call a peanut salsa. The tempura batter was everything you’d want it to be - light and crisp. But the rest of the dish fell short. The curry was a mediocre red curry you could find at any average Thai restaurant. Sadly, I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an upscale meal.

This was our favorite meal on Maui. The crispy cauliflower was incredible- I'd come back and just have this as my entree. It was so crispy and so nice with the melty onions and sauce. A close runner up was the Bird's Nest. I wouldn't have chosen this on my own but my friend ordered it and again, the textures and flavors were memorable. Also on order were the liangban salad, and garlic noodles. Both solid dishes to accompany the aforementioned two. Lineage definitely makes the return visit list.
L — Google review
The food is very good, the freshness of the ingredients elevates the flavor! The crispy cauliflower had a nice crunch and sauce. The oyster mushrooms and vegetables birds nest was amazing, with all the fresh veggies and the curried sauce. The garlic noodles had great flavor. The pandan bread pudding was very rich, and the key lime ice cream was a nice accompaniment which helped cut through the buttery richness of the pudding.

The best restaurant we went to in Maui! The fried chicken (no glaze) was incredible, as well as the garlic noodles. Also the pickles were really well crafted. Would definitely go back!

What a great experience. We sat at the bar and the bartender Elmer was incredibly attentive and a great host. Definitely try a couple of the cocktails. The lobster noodles were insane and so was the cauliflower. 10 out of 10 will be back next time!

Hawaiian restaurant
Kō Restaurant, located in the Fairmont Kea Lani, offers a unique dining experience with its sugarcane-plantation-era menu that reflects the diverse ethnic cuisine from Maui's old plantation days. The restaurant's concept is to cook up Hawaiian, Filipino, Portuguese, Korean, Puerto Rican, and European dishes in a gourmet fashion. Executive chef Jonathan Pasion has curated a menu that showcases the culinary influences of various immigrant cultures in Hawaii.
KO in the Fairmont hotel is a very upscale restaurant with a positive upbeat vibe. We’ve been to this hotel before and ate at the fish market restaurant which was very good but a little stuffy compared to KO. The staff was very accommodating. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained all of the dishes very well and his recommendation for me was spectacular. The presentation was spectacular and something you would see on TV. Oliver food was great. We had fish and steak and a side of noodles would definitely stop back in here and have a great meal if you’re on the fence of looking for something stop by here and you won’t be disappointed.
Dan M — Google review
Food was delicious and well-presented. Our top items were the honey lavender shrimp, short ribs (delicious in every iteration across the Kea Lani hotel offerings), and the fresh catch. Octopus appetizer was good, but not great. Tempura lobster was good, but very one-dimensional. Fresh catch, short ribs, and octopus represented in attached photos. I will note that the fresh catch rivaled Mama’s Fish House in terms of quality of the fish, preparation, and overall experience.

Chef Matt De La Cruz (no relation🫣) hit a home run with new menu that's very delicious and is connective with Hawaii and its fruits and bounty. Delicious steamed fish, wagyu steak and an unbelievably delicate strawberry ice dessert to end the meal. Their Mai Tai was different and strong, and was served in a tall glass. The table setting upon arrival has a lovely wooden table setting that focuses on the Valley Isle. I have a total yearn to return to Ko!

Kō delivers an amazing mix of service, setting, and menu focus. The open-air layout offers a comfortable upscale vibe. Staff ( Bryan and Peni ) were friendly, attentive, and perfect for the evening - would highly recommend! The menu reflects local ingredients, with thoughtful updates from Chef Matt. We got to try a lot of the menu and I was stuffed. Good accessibility, suitable for small and large groups. Expect $50–100 per person. Great for locals hosting guests or celebrating special occasions. They offer Kamaʻāina which is rare to find at such a high end restaurant!

IMO, Ko's menu got a whole lot better under their new chef. ATMOSPHERE: Located poolside in the Fairmont Kea Lani. The open air restaurant features trendy decor, spacious booths, high tops, regular tables, and odd bar seating that's split in half; one half of the circular bar is traditional seating while the other half sits on the floor below about 4 steps down, giving diners privacy but no view of anything besides the wall holding up the bar counter. BEVERAGE: Afternoon Ti Vodka-based mojito-like cocktail. FOOD: Their old menu was overpriced, underwhelming Filipino cuisine. Not anymore! Ahi on the Rock Cook it yourself fresh tuna pieces on a blazing hot rock. Very good. Ahi Tataki on Shrimp Toast Flavorful with nice textures. Chilled Bang Bang Chicken & Somen Noodles. Tasty & refreshing. Lavender Honey Crispy Shrimp Traditional dish. Crispy and not overly sweet. Paniolo Bone-In Ribeye Great flavor! SERVICE: Consistently good. TIP: They're currently closed for renovations as of this review.

We had an incredible dining experience at Ko in Wailea! From start to finish, the service and food were outstanding. Sylvia greeted us warmly at the host stand, and our server Ryan took such great care of us throughout the evening. Peni, the general manager, spent time chatting with us about the restaurant, which made the experience even more special. We ordered the Wagyu and the fried chicken—both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The busser was also incredibly friendly and helpful, offering recommendations multiple times and making sure we had everything we needed. Ko is truly a standout restaurant, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Wailea!

Japanese restaurant
Morimoto Maui offers beachfront dining featuring a variety of stylish Japanese creations by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. The restaurant showcases a blend of Japanese and Western-inspired cuisine, highlighting the bountiful produce of Hawaii. Situated at the Andaz Maui resort, the modern architecture takes inspiration from traditional Japanese beach houses, providing an open and airy ambiance with stunning views of the beach and ocean. In addition to sushi, the menu also features dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients.
Ashley was so delightful and helpful with ordering our special lunch at Morimoto. The sushi was definitely the best I've experienced and the wagyu sashimi was out of this world. Definitely will be back.

We enjoyed their appetizers more than entrees. Ribs, carpaccio, and gyoza were all delicious. For main, we ordered spicy hotate roll, duck fried rice, and kushiyaki set. Kushiyaki set was a miss for us - didn’t like that super sweet sauce was smothered on every single one of the skewers and vegetables. Because of that everything just tasted sweet with no other flavors. The black pan that was used for serving those skewers was for presentation only, it didn’t keep the food warm at all. Ended the night with ube cheesecake, enjoyed that too. Given the reviews and the brand, I expected more.
Grace S — Google review
Great ambiance. The staff was kind and friendly [0] Unfortunately, food quality was very disappointing. So their sticky bbq was great. However, 1. their sushi tasted a bit stale. Their Sake ( salmon ) and Sabe ( makarel ) in parituclar tasted like they were left in the sun for too long and just turned a bit bad. 2. Their cocktail, moritale(?), tasted like they forgot to add ingredients. It tasted straight up vodka with a hint of sake. This was our babymoon dinner, and didnt want to ruin it, so I didnt make any complaints. But sushi was too disappointing. [0] There was a small mishap for my order of 20 nigiri x 2 maki set. They mistakenly thought I ordered 10 nigiri set. When they brought it out, I told them about their original order and they brought another 10 nigiri set.
S K — Google review
Appetizers were not bad but rather ordinary - we had the poke tacos, fish carpaccio, and rock shrimp tempura. The 14 oz wagyu steak was way too salty that we could not even finish. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but everything was pretty underwhelming. Also, I was surprised that the appetizer plates were not switched out with dinner plates before the main dish, given that it was an upscale restaurant. The sunset views were nice.

We were a bit late and they were very accommodating. Greeted by very kind staff and seated on the patio to enjoy the ocean breeze. Mike was our waiter. Described everything and was so professional. Very low key vibe. Started with sticky ribs and cocktails. There was a minor issue with one of our orders and it was quickly and smoothly resolved. When we return to Maui we will certainly eat here again!

I will be dreaming about the sticky ribs for a while after this. Food and drinks were amazing, everything was cooked to perfection, presentation was on point and the flavors were very unique and delicious. Mikey, our server was awesome, made great food recommendations.

Food is generally wonderful like all other Morimoto locations we've been to. Ribs are always a fan favorite. Steak was delicious. The duck rice and shishito peppers were bland in flavor. Desert was great. Drinks were pricey and lacked punch, which should never be the case for such a classy place. Especially after dropping over $180 per person.

Humble Market Kitchin is an upscale restaurant located inside the Wailea Beach Resort, offering a contemporary space with ocean views. Run by renowned chef Roy Yamaguchi, this establishment prides itself on using fresh Hawaiian ingredients sourced from the backyard garden and local seafood. The menu features seasonal fare with an Asian twist, including signature items like kalua pork empanadas and potato crusted fish.
We had a wonderful experience celebrating our baby’s first birthday at Humble Market Kitchin! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a table with a beautiful sunset view, making the evening extra special. The food was fantastic—both entrées, the Misoyaki Lion’s Mane Mushrooms and Herb Crusted Tofu, were outstanding, full of rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The Crispy Brussels & Cauliflower had great texture, though it was a bit on the salty side. The highlight of the evening was the thoughtful gesture of providing a cake for our baby’s birthday. It made the celebration even more memorable. Excellent service, great ambiance, and delicious food—we will definitely be back! Would highly recommend this spot for a special occasion!

Food was great! Got the brussel sprouts cauliflower appetizer, ribeye steak and rice cracker crusted ahi tuna. They were all delicious! The chocolate soufflé was to die for! My family and I had such a great dinner at Humble Market Kitchin. I am a long time fan of Roy's Restaurants and have been to many locations multiple times. This location is no different-- it continues to uphold the high quality service and food quality I have experienced at every Roy's Restaurant. The water-front view from our table was just so beautiful! We were greeted with an amazing staff who provided high-quality service. They were able to recommend food and drinks for us that they thought we would enjoy just based on hearing what we like. Huge shoutout to Cody and Pili for their exceptional service and making our dinner such a great time. The food was also delicious, we enjoyed and finished every single appetizer, entree, and desserts that came out. The lamb was cooked to perfection and was so flavorful and tender. I cannot recommend this place more. Such a great place to share a meal with those you love!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Humble Market today. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered an impressive selection of breakfast and brunch items, catering to various tastes. Their special blend of coffee was absolutely delightful, adding a warm touch to our meal. Everything was not only fresh but also so flavorful. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing service that made us feel really welcome. Despite the bustling atmosphere, we were fortunate enough to walk right in and only waited a few minutes for a lovely table with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Overall, this place is truly a gem for a buffet breakfast, and we can’t wait to return.back.

Popped in for happy hour before my flight home, Shannon the bartender was incredibly personable and attentive even though she was clearly a little busy. Had the calamari and chicken wings both were great. The views are spectacular during sunset, definitely recommend.

No complaints here. Great service, great food (butterfish) and great cocktails (two weeks notice).
George A — Google review
We tried the happy hour offer, and came quite late. Thus we're were seated in the least nice area of the restaurant. We found the appetizers to be quite good, although inconsistent in serving size. We had the calamari twice and one serving was half the size of the other. We came with a child and we didn't realize there was any keiki menu untill we left. I kind of wished they would have told us because all the happy hour appetizers we took were quite spicy.
Jonatan W — Google review
A nice venue with beautiful ocean views, but that's where it ends. Had the fried California roll which I had high hopes for but missed the avocado, a CA must. The braised short rib started off well with a fairly common braised sauce on the surface, but was clearly not slow cooked as the strands of beef were tasteless. The mashed potatoes it was served with was tasteless and had the consistency of boxed potatoes flakes with. This is NOT a Roy Choi similar restaurant. It's no wonder at peak dinner time, the venue wasn't even half full.

Matteo's Osteria is a charming trattoria known for its modern Italian cuisine and extensive wine selection. Since 2013, chef Matteo Mistura has been delighting guests with scratch-made pastas, fresh fish dishes, and an impressive wine room. The restaurant offers a globally influenced wine list featuring bottles from Italy and California to complement the local catch. With over 60 wines by the glass, it boasts one of the largest selections on Maui.
A Hidden Gem in Maui! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy, upscale vibe that still feels relaxed. I ordered the lasagna and was completely blown away, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly layered with just the right balance of cheese, sauce, and pasta. You can really tell it’s made from scratch with high-quality ingredients and a lot of care. The service was also top-notch, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, I highly recommend stopping by Matteo’s. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

Last night we enjoyed another outstanding dinner at Matteo’s in Wailea! This place never disappoints. The service from Suki was excellent. He was warm and attentive. I began with my favorite blood orange Italian soda and Suki recommended to add fresh mint, which was a delightful touch. We always start with our favorite meatball appetizer, it’s the perfect way to begin the meal. The Cesar salad was fresh and full of flavor. Chicken parm is our go-to entrée, and we love that you can swap out the pasta to suit your taste (a small detail that makes a big difference!). We also ordered our other favorite dish, the baked lasagna. Warning, this dish comes out piping hot and packed with rich, comforting flavors, it’s definitely a dish to enjoy at a mindful pace. Consistently delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere make Matteo’s a favorite we return to again and again!

Came to make a visit to Matteo Osterio after seeing a clip of Guy Fieri eating here. Ordered Fettuccine frutti di mare squid ink pasta with crab, clams, shrimp, with tomato, garlic, white wine, lobster veloute sauce. Ordered Bolognese which is made with tagliatelle pasta with maui co beef and Italian sausage with tomato and Parmigiano-Reggiano. The fettucine frutti di mare and the bolognese were probably some of the best I have ever had. I know they are known for the Bolognese and lasagna but I highly recommend trying the fettucine frutti di mare if you make a visit here. Also ordered the tiramisu for dessert. The mascarpone cream was a little too sweet for my liking but overall it was a great and to a phenomenal dinner. Reservations are highly recommended. Parking is free and adequate spots located in plaza parking lot.

Brought the whole family out for disappointing, bland pasta. We tried the squid ink pasta, bolognese, and the chicken parm, but the best tasting entree was butter noodles… This was overpriced and a major misstep during our Maui vacation. The chicken was overcooked. The seafood was under-seasoned. The appetizers were fine, but not exceptional. The wait staff and venue are lovely. We just didn’t enjoy any of the food.

This place is a gem! The food was wonderful and if you’re gluten free they offer pasta options. We went on a girls trip and were all impressed! The eggplant appetizer was to die for but everything was soooo good. I am a foodie and I highly recommend!

We had the chance to visit Matteo’s while visiting Maui and it was by far our favorite restaurant of our trip! They have authentic Italian cuisine with a great variety of dishes ranging from pastas to seafood to chicken entrees. They are very celiac aware and offer great gluten free options including gluten free bread and most of their dishes can be made gluten free. Service was great and food came out very fast and was delicious. They have a wonderful wine selection as well! Beautiful atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Definitely recommended this place!

Oh, how the years keep piling on. My gang took me out for my birthday dinner here. It was the first time for all of us and definitely won't be our last. LOCATION: They're within the Wailea Town Center, a small strip mall located behind the new Residence Inn Marriott. Parking at night was plentiful due to the other businesses being closed. ATMOSPHERE: They've done a great job with transforming the space into a very warm, inviting and chic eatery. Seating is a mix of in and out, with a small bar, all-glass wine "cellar" and open-view kitchen. MENU: Italian fare including apps, salads, pastas, pizzas, fish, steak, kids menu, happy hour. BEVERAGE: Sicilian Rose This Ketel One martini included prosecco which gave it a nice fizz and sweetened with a white peach nectar. Absolutely delish. So much so, I had four of them!? Or was it five? I wasn't driving so I didn't care, lol! FOOD: House Bread My dislike for focaccia is slowly fading as I loved this. Instead of butter, it came with a healthier hummus spread. Caesar Salad The chunky-cut Romaine leaves were fresh and well-coated in a creamy-tangy caesar dressing and sprinkled with shaved parmesan. Very good version. Bruschetta Al Tonno Because we were a party of four, we added an additional bruschetta so we could each have one. The raw ahi was utmost fresh and teamed with a mix of fresh tomatoes, salty capers, garlic and basil. Crunchy, savory, sweet; the best of three worlds. Bruschetta slices were a bit small but the wonderful flavors made up for their petiteness. Filetto I was torn between the bolognese pasta and this dish but after seeing pics of this, I was sold due to its mouth-watering dark brown sauce. The tenderloin was amazingly tender. I asked for medium rare but it came out more medium; no biggie. Flavor and moisture were strengths of this dish as it was doused in a savory, dark brown demi mushroom sauce. Total heaven. Stewed cherry tomatoes added a nice acidic balance. I failed to comprehend that the lumpy (a positive to me) mashed potatoes were infused with chunks of gorgonzola cheese, a variety I'm not fond of due to its boldness, and was the only downfall. DESSERT: I was treated to a decadent tiramisu in a cup, topped with a sole birthday candle. So sweet of them! One of my friends opted for the affogato which looked divine and must've been as it was devoured in a snap! SERVICE: Absolutely professional, friendly and took great care of us the entire night. Thank you! OVERALL: I'm being more austere with my five star ratings but Matteo's truly deserves it.

A high end steakhouse, slightly more casual than other Ruth's Chris on the mainland. Intimate atmosphere. The professional and friendly staff are excellent. The steaks are delicious. Various cuts are prepared to order on extremely hot plates. Aged appropriately and meticulously prepared, they're the best. Side dishes are a large carte. Each are the perfect accompaniment to the entrees. If you're not sure what you'd like, ask your server for suggestions. A full bar area is available. There is plenty of free parking adjacent to the restaurant.

This place is expensive, but definitely worth it! It's the best place I've gone to for steak here on Maui. Until my dad and I ate here tonight, I thought I knew a good steak. Thank you for making me realize I've been eating steak wrong for 40+ years. 😂😂😂 The service is excellent, the atmosphere is calm and quiet. It's a dining experience definitely worth the cost! Oh, and a word of advice; when they tell you a side dish/dessert is big, take their word for it. I barely finished my apple pie a la mode! Anyway, go check them out at the Shops At Wailea!

Came here to celebrate my honeymoon and im going to be completely honest. The service was in point, my server was very nice and professional, however the food wasn’t.. i didnt like my steak at all, it literally tasted like the steak from Chilis. I was gonna go to Spago’s at the Four seasons but i didn’t feel like catching an uber out there so ended up here.. they really need to make their food better because they claim to be prime meat but i dont think so. The day before i went to DUO and their steak was excellent. I asked for my steak to be medium rare but they didn’t really know how to cook it. I spent $250 dls and left feeling disappointed because I didn’t think the food was going to be that bad.

At first, this restaurant seemed like a top-tier steakhouse, but it didn’t live up to expectations. Our server, Blaine, was friendly and did his best, but he was clearly overworked, resulting in long wait times and inconsistent service. The appetizers and sides, especially the lamb chops, were excellent. However, the main courses were disappointing. We ordered three medium-well New York strip steaks—all arrived undercooked. Even after sending them back, two were still not right. We ended up cooking them ourselves on the 500-degree plates, but by then, we were already full. To top it off, it took a long time to receive the check. This was our first time leaving a premium steakhouse feeling frustrated and like we overpaid.

The Pint & Cork is a convivial tavern located in the Shops at Wailea, Maui. It offers elevated pub eats, craft brews, and cocktails, making it a popular spot for both residents and visitors to relax and enjoy innovative comfort food with seriously tasty craft cocktails. The tavern features multiple TVs for sports fans to catch their favorite games while sipping on local beer or refreshing cocktails. Additionally, it's an ideal location for sports watching in South Maui with easy parking available.
Great find! My 9 year old said it was the best food of our trip and asked to come back before we leave. Good variety on the kids menu. Pretzel bites were bomb. The Grilled Cheese was hearty. Several beer options. Most of the cocktails were whisky or bourbon based. Not my style but if it’s yours, it’ll be fun. We were in on a slow night or slow time of day so atmosphere was lacking slightly but overall enjoyed the food and conversations

You’re never a stranger once! Stumbled upon this awesome place on accident after a disappointing visit to another reservation and we were hooked the first night! Dominic is awesome! As fellow bartenders who have quite a bit of experience in this industry, we were very impressed! He really made the experience for us (enough to go back every night for the remainder of his shifts) and also made some delicious drinks! We also loved the sesame crusted tuna, all of their food was delicious. Mahalo for the amazing hospitality!!

ATMOSPHERE: P&C is located in the Shops At Wailea in a former sushi restaurant. The look is city eatery; a long dining room with high ceilings, big bar, regular tables & high tops, a second level loft with additional seating or for private parties, and a few outdoor seats in the back of the restaurant but with no view. PARKING: Free. MENU: Craft cocktails, Maui Brewing Company beer, salads, American apps, burgers, sliders, sandwiches, chicken/pork/meat/seafood entrees. FOOD: Garlic Parmesan Fries The hand-cut fries were thin like potato sticks, piled high and dusted with finely shaved parmesan, lots of minced garlic and parsley. It was big enough for the four of us to share. Great flavor. Deviled Eggs The presentation looked a little messy on the plate but tasted really good as they did a twist to the traditional recipe with the addition of a bearnaise sauce poured over the four halves. A little parmesan cheese and bacon bits finished the dish with fresh spinach to the side. Fried Chicken Wings I'll never understand why chicken wings are so pricey. Here, you get 7 wingettes and drummettes for a whopping $22. Was it worth the price? Yes, only because of the amazing flavor! Despite the description stating vinegar, my part Filipino friends insisted they could taste patis (fish sauce). Turns out they were right as we chatted with the chef towards the end of the night. It was a bit spicy, about a 3 on a 5 heat scale, but so delish. Highly recommended for the wing fan. SERVICE: It's a seat yourself kind of place, so I don't think reservations are taken. We were greeted by several staff members as we walked in, and scored a high top table at 7pm on a Friday night. We were given menus within 5 minutes, with our server appearing soon after. She was pretty much on top of everything, knowledgeable, and did a good job checking on us. OVERALL: Small but nice menu, great flavors, nice ambiance. A definite return.

Near the end of our little getaway I was feeling an itch for a pint of Guinness. Didn’t think a brilliant pint was going to be found in Maui but I did a little search anyway and found The Pint & Cork on a Guinness forum. So happy I came in for a visit. The pint was truly wonderful, really well poured for American standard. Really smooth, not overly cold, near 0 bitter factor. Yum yum. Aside from the pints the people here really make this place shine. Our bartender was Dominic, he was absolutely lovely to talk to, wish I had more time, would’ve been awesome to have an even longer chat. He introduced us to Preston whom grew up near where we currently live and that was a true mind blowing moment. This world is much smaller than we anticipate hahaha. My wife has never liked the idea of sitting at the bar but Dominic helped changer her perspective on that with such great service and chat. We shared a burger as well, very tasty but was an after thought compared to the service and pints. Planning to make a few more visits during our next visit. Cheers!

Great dinner spot and worth a visit after an evening of shopping in the mall or a beach day in Wailea. Had the tuna-curry and fish and chips and they don't disappoint! Lots of flavors. Good atmosphere. Would prefer inside. Special thanks to Aaron for the customer service.

Came in for a late afternoon dessert and drinks. Desserts were delicious. Drinks as well. Did have deviled eggs and those were interesting, in a very good way. Caught a photo of the last one ;-)

Having tried all the Mai Tais in the neighbourhood, this place has the best (who would expect that of an Irish theme pub?). If you like Mai Tais made in the Trader Vic style, you'll like their take on it. The people complaining here about the Mai Tais are probably the people who put pineapple juice and Malibu Rum in theirs like at the nearby hotels (make it how you like it, thats fine, there are no laws on this). But these are more true to the Trader Vic style, and they are a great take on it.

This place was great! It was super simple and the food was really good! We went for happy hour and the happy hour menu was perfect! We had the cheeseburger sliders, the Mac and cheese, garlic parm fries, and deviled eggs. I would order everything again! Our waitress was so nice, the drinks hit the spot, and the atmosphere was very lowkey! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Nestled within a chic hotel, Kapa Bar & Grill offers a delightful poolside dining experience that perfectly captures the essence of Maui. This vibrant bistro serves an array of international comfort food, making it an ideal spot to relax after a day spent exploring the island's beauty. Guests can savor Hawaiian flavors while enjoying handcrafted cocktails under the stars, with live music enhancing the atmosphere each evening.
Came across this gem on my way back from the Wailea Coast Walk. Great spot to watch the sunset with a $12 lager! Service was splendid - Guy did a great job! Will definitely return!

If you're in the hotel, you have to take an elevator and poke around to find this place. The view is amazing. Live music started while I was there. Staff is friendly and legitimately seem to enjoy their jobs and like their coworkers. Food was fine. The drinks were amazing, tho!

Went because of the ratings. Not always the experience you expect. We arranged our first day on the island to be here at sunset. Great view. Good ratings on Google Maps. Overpriced (even by resort standards). We sat at the bar to take in the sunset (which was gorgeous). But $23 for a signature cocktail is a little steep. We had a large late lunch, so settled on some appetizers for dinner. We got the coconut shrimp (three large shrimp) and the Korean Fried Chicken Bites. The shrimp was about average, but the chicken was interesting. A combination of sweet and spicy (which is always a hit in my book), and a larger portion than I was expecting. $150 for appetizers and cocktails? I'll let you be the judge.

Decided to eat here instead of driving off property. The pan seared local fresh catch was great. Unlike the Thai vermicelli crunch was less desirable. The nuoc dressing didn't have much flavor.

The shade is spectacular! Distant view of the ocean is nice! The pina colada was good but not my favorite. The water is disgusting! Filter needs to be changed. The bartender oddly asked us to move seats from one side of the bar to the other because why? My husband told him we are comfortable where we are.

KAPA is perhaps the best dining experience overall in Wailea Beach Resort (WBR). Overall, the dining game in Maui isn't top notch and WBR suffers from that as well. Overpriced and uneventful. KAPA is right by the main pool in an open patio style setting. It has a beach house vibe but done in a very modern way. Just an awesome place to just hang out and view the ocean. Just with this, they already are winning. Food is tasty. The surprising spread of various cuisines from all around are well put together. All fit for "pool food" that will make a hungry bunch satisfied. KAPA shouldn't be judged for food primarily but they end up providing the best dining option at WBR by a wide margin. And combine this with a cold Hawaiian lager and you're in paradise. Again, each one of the items aren't top notch. But they are absolutely more than appropriate for the setting. If you're in WBR, KAPA should be visited frequently. Even if you're not staying at WBR, walk over on the beach path and give KAPA a go. Wonderful.
Wook C — Google review
We had a great experience here. The waiters were extremely attentive, and came very often to refill drinks. The food was fine for the price point. I thought it was pretty creative how the restaurant stretches around the pool. I came twice and had a great experience both times.
Nicklaus A — Google review
(June 2023) Lunch or dinner, the food is amazing. We dined twice here and kept talking about the lilikoi dipping sauce that comes with the fruit plate. The bar is in front of the pool so the kids can go take a dip. The only requirement is that they dry off (wrap them in a towel) before they walk into the restaurant to avoid dripping water everywhere. The restaurant has views of the ocean and sunset. You may use your free mai tai drink vouchers and ask for the Virgin version, tastes just like a smoothie! 20% gratuity automatically added for parties of 6 or more.

Island Gourmet Markets at The Shops of Wailea is a high-end mall featuring luxury brands like Prada, Tiffany & Co., and Gucci. It also houses hidden gems such as Martin & MacArthur, offering koa bowls and keepsake boxes, and Mele Ukulele for handmade Hawaiian musical instruments. The mall hosts several good restaurants including Top Chef fan favorite Sheldon Simeon's Lineage and Island Gourmet Markets that offer affordable breakfast and lunch options.
If you’re looking for a well-stocked grocery store and gift shop in Wailea, Maui, Island Gourmet Markets is the perfect place to visit. This store has everything you could possibly need, whether you’re shopping for essentials, grabbing a quick bite, or picking up souvenirs for friends and family back home. Island Gourmet Markets offers a wide variety of items, from T-shirts, hats, and luggage to fresh groceries, snacks, and an impressive selection of sushi and sashimi to-go. It has all the convenience of an ABC Store, but with the added benefit of a full grocery store experience. One of the highlights of shopping here is the fresh fruit selection—bursting with vibrant colors of red, green, and yellow. The abundance of pineapples is particularly impressive, as you’ll see in my pictures. Beyond the selection, the store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. If you’re staying in the Wailea area and need a quick grocery run or want to grab a delicious meal within walking distance of your hotel, Island Gourmet Markets is definitely worth a stop.

ABC Store's fancy schmancy location is at The Shops of Wailea at the north end. ATMOSPHERE: The store is clean and organized. It's like a supermarket and sundry store in one, selling all the usual groceries including snacks, drinks, clothing, beer, wines, and liquors. They also sport a fresh meat & seafood department with a butcher, fresh sushi that's made in-house, a coffee bar, and a small gelato bar. Of course my favorite is the deli that sells sandwiches, burgers, donburi bowls, and even local-style bento lunches. FOOD: Swiss Mushroom Burger IMO, the best version on the rock. Everything was moist and juicy; the bun, grilled onions & mushrooms, the patty... Melt in your mouth goodness. And mayo was already spread on the bun... Yes! Are they mind readers?? I asked for curly fries but ended up with thick-cut ones, which were still good. I asked for no veggies except for a pickle but received tomatoes and lettuce. It's a good sized burger for the price. Grab lots of napkins because you're gonna need them! Holla! Bowtie Chicken Caesar Pack These delicious little bundles of joy are stocked in the refrige below the deli counter. Bowtie pasta tossed with black olives, sliced chicken breast, and parmesan cheese in a creamy caesar dressing with a tease of shredded romaine on top. The perfect app and affordable. SERVICE: Everyone was friendly, helpful, greets and thanks you. The deli girls taking orders or cooks need to listen and read tickets better. The cashier was super smiley and welcoming. OVERALL: Really good burgers at great prices, excellent service.

Great place for local foods and snacks. However, the poke is very salty. The burger was very dry and kind of thrown together. The Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup is indulgent (and pricey) - delicious!!
JB — Google review
My Uber driver recommended Island Gourmet Market if I was looking for some authentic poke, and to my surprise, this place has a little bit of everything. Is it a gift shop? A supermarket? A mini pharmacy? Yes, to all of the above! It’s truly an amazing one-stop shop. I picked up some souvenirs for my family and grabbed a few breakfast items to take back to my hotel. The market is incredibly clean, with plenty of staff on hand, and there’s just so much to look at and explore. It’s one of those places you could easily spend a lot of time in, enjoying all the different things they have to offer. Definitely worth a stop!

Located at the north end of The Shops of Wailea. Within walking distance of major resorts. Fully handicap accessible. Plenty of free parking in the lot. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect place for local food, snacks, (adult) drinks, pharmacy and toiletry items, souvenirs. Great poke bowls, sushi rolls, sandwiches and local desserts. Usually the fresh food is discounted in the evenings. Large selection of alcoholic drinks, liquors and cocktails. Significant savings over the high prices resorts charge during your stay - especially for drinks and comfort food. Highly recommended!
Walter P — Google review
This is a review just for the deli section of the store. This is an evolved ABC store, and I wish all ABC stores had the hot food sections like this. The poke was priced decent and we got a poke bowl with an extra container of poke as well. There was a good amount of plate lunches to choose from, and we needed up going with the loco moco which was drenched with gravy. I was told by many others that the breakfast was the best but we didn’t have opportunity to try it out since it stops at 11am and we always came in the afternoon. Be careful when you come during lunch because it’s a crazy mess of a crowd and very overwhelming to someone who is there for the first time. Follow the crowds and the signs so you know where and how to order
William T — Google review
So many choices to make for lunches and dinners. The sandwiches are meaty and fresh. There's something here for anyone, and prices are reasonable.
Dennis S — Google review
The staff was fairly friendly for a grocery store/market! Love the combination of a food market and gift shop. Super excited about the hello kitty Hawaiian merchandise. The pineapple is amazing and is definitely a must purchase. Was a bit disappointed with my poke only because it was fairly small for the price. The fish was fresh and tasted amazing. If you are getting spicy poke just be prepared the sauce is extremely spicy, more so than I was expecting but that could just be my low spice tolerance! Overall delicious, especially for a grocery store.

Nestled in the heart of Maui, MAKANA MARKET + CAFE is a delightful destination for anyone seeking gourmet treats and local flavors. Upon arriving to the Fairmont Kea Lani after a long 9 hour flight, we were able to get a quick pizza that we brought up to our room to eat. Stopped in to get ice cream one night. I got the banana bread sundae and my fiancé got the chocolate Oreo shake. Both delicious. The store also had coffee, teas, and typical gift shop items. Everything of course is super expensive but what else would you expect. Overall recommend.

Great place for a quick breakfast bite! Be ware, their espresso is on the weaker side but still good. I had the Açaí bowl with all the fruit and my Husband tried their breakfast sandwich. All were super fresh and delicious! They baking goods are outstanding as well (try the croissant 😉).

This is a great place to eat and buy supplies if you are staying in the area. If you want a break from resort prices....the Market gives you a little breathing room. We purchased our breakfast items to enjoy on the balcony in the resort. I recommend the pizza and breakfast items. They also have spirits at reasonable prices. The market is a good place to enjoy.

Could not eat anything here since I am allergic to cinnamon and the worker told me there could be cross contamination of cinnamon in all their foods even their salads. So my husband got something and said it was ok. I hope in the future they can make it more friendly for people with allergies.

Kamaole Poolside Cafe Maui is the ultimate spot for those looking to unwind in a tropical paradise. Nestled beside three inviting saline pools, this outdoor bar and patio offers a delightful menu ranging from sandwiches to hearty entrees, all complemented by refreshing cocktails. Picture yourself lounging by the pool, savoring mouthwatering dishes like blackened Mahi street tacos topped with delicious papaya salsa while soaking in breathtaking views of lush surroundings.
Great food and service. For a poolside bar this is a solid choice for quick bites. Bartenders are great and food came out fairly quickly. 10/10 for poolside quick eats!
Harvey C — Google review
I got the blackened Mahi street tacos off the menu. Tacos come with papaya salsa that was really good. Fish wasn't dry or undercooked or over-seasoned. I'm personally really picky about tortilla chips so I was disappointed they were overcooked. For a poolside cafe it wasn't bad, nothing fancy. Food can be served at one of their tables near the bar, or you can have it served by your lounge chair area next to the pool. Oh, there is also a bar, but I do not drink alcohol so I can't give my input about that. I have family here, so we've been to this place many times. Honestly, who can really complain about much when they're visiting Maui?
Freyja L — Google review
Food was from a food truck and was just okay. The bartender who was acting as table server was impatient with our kids and walked away from us in the middle of our drink order and sent another (much nicer) server to take care of us. Its a good lunch spot while hanging around the pool, and the live music was nice, I wouldn't recommend it for dinner until the main restaurant is back open

Da Kitchen, located in Kihei and Kahului, is a popular restaurant on Maui known for its generous portions of classic Hawaiian food. Despite its suburban strip-mall location, it attracts both locals and tourists with its island soul food, including signature dishes like chicken katsu and teriyaki beef. The airport location offers a wider selection, featuring traditional plate-lunch-style fare as well as burgers and sandwiches.
One of the best places to eat in Maui. We came in a Tuesday for lunch and the inside was packed so we ordered to-go and ate outside. Every single bite of every item on our plate was perfection. The Musubi was heavy on the nori flavor, which I love, but my husband doesn’t so I mostly got to have that all to myself. The meats were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Many weeks later and we’re still talking about how this is one of the best meals we ate. On our Maui go-to list now forever! Oh, and the staff were all so freaking nice!!
Chelsea W — Google review
I came here based on the reviews. While you do get a lot of food for your money, I’m not sure I’m convinced that it was as great as some of these reviews. We ordered the mixed plate and the loco moco. Both were ok. The mixed plate came with katsu chicken and mahi as well as a piece of chicken thigh and a piece of sliced beef plus rice and mac salad. The loco moco came with a burger patty, egg, topped with sautéed onions, rice and mac and cheese. It’s a very heavy meal. The dishes didn’t have a lot of flavor. Our server was nice and friendly.
Geeky C — Google review
Loco Moco was good but not great. Standouts were the fried spam musubi and the guava cheesecake (a must-order. Not overly sweet). Prices for portion size were good. My husband and I split the Loco Moco and had leftovers.

Island salad is my run away favorite here. It’s been a while since I was in Hawaii and had plate lunch. So long ago that prices have ga-gillioned? $35 for the Hawaiian? Sheesh. Used to be plate lunch was the affordable way to eat. Food was good though. Lau lau was good. Kilua pork was salty but delicious. Rice was rice. And a very little itty bitty salmon teaser. Won’t be back but happy we went. Can’t recommend at these prices.
TheDoug801 — Google review
Food was delicious. ❤️ Everyone was very nice and my meal was gluten and dairy free. The pork was excellent. No sauce needed. It had great flavor and was juicy. 🤩

Exactly what I was looking for! We're visiting from California. I have been craving Lau lau which is hard to find in Cali, but Da Kitchen nail it! I wanted a little of everything that reminded me of hanging at random weddings while my Dad and grandpa hosted Luau's back in the 70's. If you're on the hunt for a culinary gem that showcases the essence of Maui, look no further than Wailea Kitchen. This delightful eatery prides itself on a farm-to-table organic menu that features an array of classic island dishes crafted from clean, natural ingredients. The vibrant flavors reflect the unique landscape and culture of Maui, making each bite a true experience. With innovative vegan and vegetarian options alongside locally sourced meats and fish, there's something to satisfy every palate.
Absolutely 200% worth it. Amazing and informative tour of the farm and the food was outstanding. You can tell the staff is passionate about what they do. They sit you at this long table along with the other guests. Great opportunity to meet new and interesting people.
Laurent B — Google review
Let me begin by sharing the passionate Mission of Wailea Kitchen: "Everything on earth survives off of another living thing but it is not good to imprison or torture animals. We vote with every dollar we spend. Therefore we choose to vote locally with hunters, fishermen and farmers." The food is so thoughtfully prepared & delicious!!!! We started with the Dakine Brussel Sprouts, $16 (omg!) & the WK Nachos, $24 (OMG!!!!). We couldn't wait for dinner... but wait we did. Over an hour for our food to arrive & it was not busy when we ordered. I ordered the WK Tacos w/ jackfruit ($22 + $6) & they were the BEST tacos I've ever had. I have to mention that this price was for 2 tacos... no sides, just 2 tacos. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the WK Enchiladas with Miso Soy Curls ($33 + $6). My daughter, being a purist, ordered the keiki vegan alfredo (a double portion, $14 x 2) that they forgot to add the cashew cream to so it was ultimately onion/garlic noodles with olive oil. Average at best. OVERALL: The staff was VERY friendly. The drink/food service was slow... had the server come back after the meals were delivered we could've possibly corrected the alfredo-less pasta. The prices were VERY high however we felt good supporting a restaurant like this. Also note that 22% gratuity is automatically added ~ which may be reason for the slower service. A few suggestions: If the menu is vegan/vegetarian by design present it should be as such. List "suggested proteins" (meats/fish etc...) opposed to featuring them. If a menu item is vegan or can easily be made vegan it should be indicated with a V. It was very confusing having only a few items listed that way & then needing to clarify with the server.
Megan J — Google review
We made reservations for 5, very nice server but we waited for our dinner for an hour and a half. The food was delicious but so long in coming with so many apologies that we were ready to walk out. Not sure what happened but the server was constantly apologizing for the kitchen. Very disappointing. We will try again and hopefully all will be excellent because the food was great. We ordered onion rings, veggie’s, eggplant parmigiana, mushroom caps, portobello, tacos, all very delicious. If you struggle with managing stairs, this is not the place to go. Difficult walk from the parking lot.
Susan M — Google review
Love love LOVED it. Amazing views and ambiance. Our waitress was so kind and helpful. She helped us choose dishes that suited our vegan diet. There are so many options here for vegans, vegetarians with the option to add animal based protein if you wish. Everything was cooked to perfection. Properly seasoned without too much spice or salt. The chocolate dessert is to die for....a must have. I have eaten at so many restaurants and this is by far one of the best ever. We will be back!
Leanna — Google review
Even though this menu is a majority vegetarian and vegan friendly there are still some dishes with fish and meat, so don’t be deterred from dining here. This restaurant is a must to visit while in Wailea. The location is a bit hidden by the tennis courts, but it’s well worth the dining experience. We ordered the following dragon fruit Margarita, Aiko's Onion Rings, Manu's Roaster, Vegan Spicy Chipotle Nachos, Jackfruit Tacos, and Toffee Espresso Cheesecake. All items were delicious. My margarita tasted so fresh and love how they don’t used simple syrup in their drinks. I’m not a vegetarian or vegan, but I like all foods, and this was a pleasant surprise for us. We definitely will be dining here next time. Kelsey was an awesome server for us! Thank you for an amazing dinner.

Absolutely blown away. Every food item was out of this world. The drinks exceptional. I am a vegetarian and my friends kindly accompanied me, even for the meat eaters were raving. They have locally sourced, organic meat and fish for the carnivores. The sunset view, open air atmosphere was the impressive cherry on top. Outstanding establishment. Highly recommend!

The food at this unassuming bar is excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and it’s a casual place you can unwind. The margaritas were made with fresh ingredients (no mixers) and were exceptional. Our kids enjoyed Maui Root Beer and they serve it in a frosted mug which was a really nice touch. We came back several times during our stay for casual meals and the food was excellent. Their ahi poke bowl was fresh and delicious — I highly recommend it along with the Sunset Fries — spicy and flavorful.

Oao - Sushi Bar & Grill at Wailea is a new favorite sushi spot on Maui, offering delicious cuisine and excellent service. The Master Chef and staff provide an authentic experience with their hospitable and attentive nature. The menu features awesome dishes like Hamachi Kama, Fresh Oysters served on the shell, and the specialty surf & turf roll with superb wagyu. The atmosphere is fantastic, making it a great place for both a quick bite alone or dinner with friends.
My husband and I came to Oao last week while in Maui for our honeymoon. This place was amazing! We sat at the bar and the staff was really friendly and food came out quickly. The sushi here was so fresh. We went to a LOT of poke and sushi places while in Hawaii, and the fatty tuna maki roll (the exact name of the roll is escaping me) was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life! We also really loved the spicy tuna/crispy rice cakes. So delicious!

Stopped by on a Saturday evening around 8pm and was able to be seated upon arrival for our party of four. Overall, food and service is very good for this pricey Japanese style restaurant. The teriyaki chicken skewer was good but nothing special. The Oao baked California roll was filling and delicious. The Cilantro Lime salad was fresh and tasty. The spicy Japanese edamame was delicious and spicy but unfortunately were not shelled. The rock shrimp tempura was not very filling but was tasty.

Oao is truly exceptional. While visiting, we asked several locals for recommendations, and this spot came up again and again. We’re so glad we listened. Our reservations at a high-end restaurant fell through, so we decided to try our luck here—and it turned out to be the best decision. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The oysters and sushi practically melted in our mouths, and we were fortunate enough to sit at the bar and chat with the owner. He shared stories about working with his family and even recommended other great spots, like HACHI in Kihei. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. We completely understand why the locals love this place, and if you’re in the area, you absolutely shouldn’t miss it.

I admit I was skeptical after finding very little quality at the right price on Maui. I am picky when it comes to my food. In Hawaii we have a lot of high price for the sake of tourism and location rather than quality. On top of that Maui is impacted by this more than other islands. Oao is not one of these places. The food and service were spectacular. We love sushi and Japanese food and eat it more than any other culture of food. The Service: server Ronson C 5 stars! I don’t usual comment on the service specifically but our server Ronson C was a true delight and elevated the dinning experience. He was talking story and made great recommendations. Not pushy like some can be. He was very attentive and efficient. He had great energy not only with our table but everyone he interacted with. I am very pleased I followed all of his recommendations. The Food: We usually go for appetizers and nigiri this time was no different. The chefs special menu featuring special imports for Japan were amazing. The Akamai, Chutoro, and Otoro were all exceptional . Hamachi and unagi were delicious. The Hotake, Ika, and Uni were amazing . The crispy rice which they labeled rice cake was like the best poke bomb. Elevated with the texture of the crispy rice instead of inari. Everything beat expectations. The tempura vegetables were light and perfectly fried. Everything we had was familiar and comfortable yet elevated to something special. The Carpaccio was so simple but so delicious. Everything was full of flavor. I love natto and upon Ronsons recommendation I added shiso leaf (common) and spring onion (first time for me) and it was the best natto roll I have had. I ordered a second for dessert. I was truly taken away at how such simple items so familiar were executed so exquisitely. I was not missing Japan, this place brought me back. A must visit if you are craving sushi on Maui! 5 Not to mention they have quite the drink menu.

We stopped here for some warm miso soup and sushi rolls. Everything we ordered was tasty. A nice little sushi restaurant in the Wailea area of Maui.

This is THE BEST sushi on island. It’s pricier but that’s just the price of wailea. It is worth it. All of the food is consistently amazing, they do such a good job with their crudo and specialty dishes. I love their green tea, everything is very nice and well presented- even down to the tea kettle dishes. This place checks all the boxes for ambiance, vibe, music, decorum, and cleanliness. The owner is a super cool chef too! The whole sushi chef team is friendly and talented, and the staff is overall very nice. Only thing that’s just okay is the cocktails, but I’m sure over time their selection and specialities will adapt and improve. If you’re a tourist, you found a local gem, and if you’re local, I hope you enjoy this spot as much as I do. :)

Service was good. The staff were very nice. Food tasted decent. But the portion size to cost ratio is not good. I expected food to be more expensive in Hawaii and it was, but the portion size is very small. The cost to portion ratio is not what I’m used to coming from LA. For example the rainbow row in the picture was almost $50. We didn’t leave feeling very satisfied.

Please go here for happy hour! The prices are amazing especially considering how delicious and fresh this sushi was. Every roll was to die for and the service was awesome. Will definitely be back!!

Akamai Coffee @ Wailea Village is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts exploring the beautiful island of Maui. This charming local gem offers freshly roasted coffee crafted from premium beans sourced globally, all while showcasing the rich flavors of locally grown varieties. The inviting atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy your brew as you soak in the gentle Hawaiian breeze.
Hands down the best coffee in Wailea, love the Honeybee. The Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream is addictive and was gone before it occurred to me to take a picture. The Thai noodle salad and banana bread were good as well.

Very cute place. Nice coffee and breakfast selections. Quiet outdoor dining space. Fun with the birds chirping. I got the avocado toast. There was no eggs but it still tasted refreshing. We also got the French toast with chocolate chip. That’s was good too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone
Tinz — Google review
I love coffee and I think their drip coffee is the best in the area. For that matter, better than many places than the mainland. I love their food choices; Well presented and tasty. The pic is of their Lox and cream sandwich. Also they are open early which is a bonus for some people with a different body clock.
Michael N — Google review
We originally stopped at Akamai Coffee just for coffee, and it was so good! Then we saw the menu and decided to try the avocado toast with an egg on top and the egg toast—both were amazing, and the presentation was great too. We loved it so much we ended up coming back 3–4 more times just for the coffee during our trip. Definitely a spot worth visiting!
Matthew H — Google review
Akamai Coffee in Wailea is, without a doubt, my favorite coffee shop! Every time I visit, I’m greeted with genuine aloha from the baristas. They’re warm, kind, and always make you feel like a valued part of their day. It’s the kind of place where the energy is just as uplifting as the coffee. Speaking of the coffee, the quality is truly unmatched. My go-to is the warm honey latte, and it’s absolute perfection. The rich espresso is balanced beautifully by just the right touch of sweetness from the honey. You can genuinely taste the care that goes into every cup, and it’s always consistently crafted, which I really appreciate. Their breakfast menu is equally delicious, and my favorite item is the egg toast. It’s simple, fresh, and satisfying—perfect to start your morning or enjoy after a beach walk. The shop itself has a charming, laid-back vibe, with clean design and a welcoming atmosphere. The covered outdoor seating makes it an ideal spot to relax, sip your coffee, and soak in the Wailea surroundings. If you're visiting Maui or lucky enough to live nearby, Akamai Coffee is a must-stop. The drinks are made with love, the food is fantastic, and the people truly embody the spirit of aloha. It’s everything a great local coffee shop should be and more.

Always a nice view and good spot for morning coffee and a quick bite. The lox and cream is super good, love their chai, and you must try the banana bread. Only complaint would be the ridiculously high pricing. Other than that, I definitely recommend this for your caffeine needs.
Mo — Google review
Had coffee a few times during our stay and what really stood out was their drip. It's rare when I find a coffee shop who does a decent drip, so I usually get lattes. I think a drip coffee is a true test of how good a coffee place is. Akamai's was tasty and made me want to buy a bag of their beans.
Road T — Google review
We came for coffee/breakfast and we loved it so much that we kept coming back every day on our 4 day Maui trip! I highly recommend the avocado toast and tomato bisque. The seasonal autumn-spice latte was amazing. The service is very quick despite the crowd. There are plenty of tables with nice views of the ocean. Absolutely loved this place!

Kitoko Maui is a unique mobile restaurant located in Kihei, offering an exceptional dining experience with its impressive dishes. The chef, formerly from the Four Seasons, showcases fine dining expertise through creations like seared swordfish bento and poke with magenta dragonfruit ponzu. The food truck is nestled in a tropical plant wonderland where guests can enjoy live music and find cozy spots among the palms to savor their meals.
This is by far the best dining experience you can have on Maui. This place deserves a Michelin star for its food and service and attention to detail. We came here multiple times during our stay on Maui and everything was exceptional. Dishes are creative, presentation is amazing and the taste is unbelievable. Chef and his staff are super friendly and caring. They are happy to answer questions or help you chose a dish. We’ve tried Kauai Shrimp, Crispy pork belly, Ono Poke and Lobster. Also there Lilikoi Pie is perfect. I hope they get the recognition they deserve for their hard work and creativity. Thank You!

Food: I was so disappointed about the flavors in my dish. I don’t think they went well together or tasted good. The veggies were on the harder side although their fish was tender and their crispy rice had a good crunch. Their presentation was beautiful though! Service: Friendly staff although they take a while to get your order out. Atmosphere: Place is in a food truck location so there’s plenty of outdoor seating. However, we had to move multiple times because there were so many flies and ants at our tables. Great for large parties and kid-friendly.

We had the Lobster and Grilled octopus( can’t remember the name ) it was amazing. It would melt in your mouth. The live jazz music is an added bonus. Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Loved this place! 10/10

If you get the chance, eat here. Kitoko served the best food we had on our entire trip to Maui, and we ate at most of the famous and upscale restaurants. The venison was off the hook incredible. I could eat it every day and die a very happy man. The shrimp dish came with amazing crispy garlic that the only negative was that we didn't get more. The crispy pirk belly was cooked perfectly, and the accompanying purple potato gnocchi were so soft they practically melted in your mouth. The jicama carrot and radish slaw had a very delicious unique flavor, not quite pickled. Everything was cooked on multiple grills in their open-air kitchen right in front of you. They have tables set up in beautiful outdoor surroundings. Seriously, this place is amazing. Eat here first, thank me later.

It’s wonderful place for whole family. Tables in the shadows of palms, Buddhas everywhere, the sounds of nature and amazing cuisine. There were flies and small ants around the table we were sitting, it’s the only thing that annoyed us a bit.

Went here because of the stellar reviews and it does not disappoint. Friendly people who cook up the dishes right in front of you, plenty of beautiful outdoor seating, and incredible food!!! Got the pork belly with ube gnocchi and sides of pickled red onion and pineapple slaw.

10/10!! We had the seafood platter and everything from the lobster, the fish, to the salad was amazing. Totally worth wait and the cost and by far one of the best meals we had in Maui. Don’t forget to grab their lilikoi tart next door!
Sarah C — Google review
Wanted to love it after reading about it I was so stoked to try it but the mahi was fishy, the bao were stodgy and underdone, the shrimp were slimy and the ube gnocchi made the dish sweet. You can even see in picture the bao are not light and fluffy like they should be. Nothing tasted fresh but beautiful presentation.

Nestled in the heart of Kihei, Coconuts Fish Cafe is a laid-back eatery that has become a beloved destination for seafood lovers. The menu boasts local favorites like Ahi poke and coconut shrimp as appetizers, while the main courses feature mouthwatering options such as their renowned seven-layer fish tacos filled with mahi-mahi and ono.
Great place to grab takeout tacos and fries for dinner at Charlie Young Beach. The fries were fantastic, small McDonald's size but so much more flavorful... Nice little dusting of paprika. Pork tacos were tasty. Wish there was a smaller size available. Large indoor seating area, but also a popular spot to grab takeout. Located on the second floor, up a set of stairs. Large shared free parking lot.

Wow, this place has so many reviews, thanks mainly to the tourist folk. ATMOSPHERE: The always-packed eatery is located in the Azeka Shopping Center next to Peggy Sue's. All indoor & outdoor seating on cool surfboard-shaped tables are communal with posted signs encouraging the sharing of personal bubble space. Thankfully we did takeout as I love my space, especially when eating lol. MENU: Seafood apps, salads, chowder, tacos, sandwiches, rice plates, fish/shrimp & chips, pasta. FOOD: Shrimp & Chips My request of doing half shrimp and half fish with chips was denied. The seven pieces of breaded shrimp were on the smallish side, possibly even frozen, but deep fried perfectly and not oily, with a generous portion of shoestring fries, a cup of coleslaw, and cocktail sauce & ketchup for dipping. Very mainstream but good. SERVICE: Friendly and helpful gal was taking orders. Our takeout order took about 20 minutes as they were pumping even at 2 in the afternoon. A friendly guy brought our package out to us, double checked the order, and thanked us. Very good service! OVERALL: The words "coconut" and "fish" definitely riles up the tourist folk, LOL.

Wanted to try the « Famous Fish tacos » : it was the best I ever ate ! We ate at the restaurant but people seems to order and pick up more then sit in even though there are many tables :you pay first and you get your cutlery and wait for your order .The employee who takes the order is very friendly . We tried also their Poké ahi and salmon ( choice of shoyu, spicy or teriyaki ) and there were good .

I went to a couple of Coconut’s Fish Café locations in Maui, and the Azeka one was better. The service was better, and it wasn’t as busy as the other place. The food was really good, and everything was stocked. At the other location, they didn’t even have ice for my drink, but the Azeka one did. Overall, the Azeka location was cleaner, better stocked, and had friendlier service. I’d go back there again.

I stopped by Coconuts Fish Café at the Azeka location and tried the Ono grilled with salad—wow, so good! The fish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and grilled just right. The salad was crisp and refreshing, which balanced the meal nicely. Great casual spot with a local vibe. Definitely a must-try if you love fresh seafood!

Most amazing happy hour we've been to in Maui. The mahi fish tacos are delicious. Poki stack was amazing. If you like scallops, the scallop sliders are amazing. Cucumber smash cocktail was perfect. Our waitress Cori was AMAZING! Bubbly personality and so good at recommending different dishes. Overall we had an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend if your near Grand Wailea.

We went for Happy Hour and as always the food was spectacular! Happy Hour is our favorite time to go because we get to try a larger variety of things, and still respect our budget. Our service was really not great, the waiter kept taking everyone's plates with food still on it without asking if anyone was finished. I had to get my son's meal replaced because he took half his lunch. We didn't have a long wait but it was also because we had reservations for our group.

Had a wonderful experience with Ethan, as my waiter. He was attentive but didn't hover. The Spaghetti squash entree with shrimp, was fresh, delicious and so unique from most menus. And then I spotted my favorite dessert when I visit Maui, but hadn't located so far this visit. The pineapple creme brulee was beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. So thankful for my spontaneous lunch at Tommy Bahamas. Thanks Ethan for the friendly, personal service that made my lunch even nicer.

Our first time at a Tommy Bahama during our stay in Wailea. Located within the Shops at Wailea, in walking distance from major resorts. Plenty of parking in the free parking lot. Fully handicap accessible via ramps and/or elevator. Friendly and attentive front desk staff and ushers. We were seated immediately, had a reservation but the restaurant wasn't very busy at dinner time. Observation: unable to book through Open Table, but no issue to get a reservation when calling in. The lady looked up my profile from my cell#. Strange business practice... Nice table indoors, next to open tall doors to the terrace/patio. Good music in the background, noise level was rather low, easy to talk. The waitress gave us time to choose our orders. Excellent cocktails, shared a good starter followed by steaks. Almost perfectly cooked, slight too much for my taste (my filet was more medium than medium rare). Good quality and flavors. Great maybe not excellent though. Service speed seemed rushed and not well timed between starter and mains. Steaks were consequently warm but not hot anymore. I certainly get the american approach of a typical fast dinner, nevertheless this is a major vacation destination and the place wasn't too busy. Minus two stars for the service overall. Recommended with limits, open to sample another Tommy Bahama location.

Adam our server was absolutely a delight to get to know and help us with recommendations. We loved every bite of food. We got to know each other a little bit and mentioned it was our last day on the island, we were here for an anniversary. We couldn’t be more happy with our dinner at Tommy’s.

Don't miss this place to eat!! Impeccable service and food. We were so lucky to get Maria as our server. She was just the sweetest and gave us great recommendations. Perfect amount of attention. We had the nachos, fries, and Ono. We were lucky enough that Ono was the catch of the day. Best flavors, my husband and I ever tasted in a fish. It was like the filet mignon of fish!! Again, do not miss this place to eat!

This is a great place for a bite to eat or some good drinks. I had the garlic friend lo mein and added some grilled chicken to it. That meal was amazing and just the right amount. My wife had the hurricane fries which were also very good and spicy. Our server was super attentive. It was a little pricey but everything is on Maui. But the food was worth every penny. None of us had any complaints. Highly recommend this place.

We had seen this place on an episode of Diners, Drive Ins & Dives and when we were looking for a lunch spot today we thought we would drive to Kihei and try it! It absolutely did NOT disappoint!! It was very easy for us to get a lovely shaded table on the patio. Our waiter Daniel was fantastic! We decided to go with three of the shared plates…Bacon fried Brussel Sprouts, garlic fried noodles, and crispy pork belly. The pork belly was so good and gone so fast that we ordered another one so that we could take a picture of it! It was definitely the first place winner…the chili gastrique and the papaya salad completely balanced off the richness of the pork belly! The garlic noodles were epic…these are the kind of noodles that you could just eat every day and never get tired of! The brussel sprouts were scrumptious! Even if you don’t like Brussel Sprouts, you will love these!! Great dishes and a total flavour bomb of yumminess!! Definitely going back again before we leave for Canada again!

We actually found out about it through the PacWhale Foundation, which offers a 20% discount—so glad we decided to stop by! A special shoutout to the staff, who were so kind and generous. I accidentally left my bag behind, and when I returned later, they had kept it safely for me. Truly thoughtful people who made our visit even better. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a relaxed Maui atmosphere. 🌺🍹

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Three’s Bar & Grill, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting ambiance set the tone for a special evening. We decided to splurge a little and try the lobster — and let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations. The lobster was cooked to perfection: tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The presentation was elegant, and it was clear that real care was taken in its preparation. But a great dish is only half the story — the service made the night truly memorable. Maria was our server, and she was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed to enjoy ensuring our experience was top-notch. Her friendly demeanor and professional touch elevated the evening. The menu at Three’s is impressively diverse, with something to appeal to many tastes. From fresh seafood to hearty mains, and a wide selection of beverages (including cocktails, wines, and artisanal drinks), you’re spoiled for choice. We spent quite a while just browsing the menu — which is always a good sign. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, striking a nice balance between casual and relaxed. Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and a pleasant level of background music all contributed to an environment where you can enjoy both conversation and your meal without distractions. All told, we left feeling delighted and looking forward to returning. Three’s Bar & Grill offers outstanding food, top-tier service (thanks again, Maria!), and a warm, inviting vibe. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner, special occasion, or just a night out to treat yourself.

Our last night of a two-week trip was spent here. The kids were left at the condo so we could have a date night. Our only regret was that we couldn't go back. Honestly, we would have gone every other night for apps. I was a professional chef for 10 years, we ate all over Maui, and this place was by far the best. And the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back next time on the first day of our trip!

Our family came to this restaurant everyday while in Maui! The service, vibes, food, and drinks were exceptional and easily accessible at any time of the day. Shout out to Joseph, the server assistant, who was friendly and cheerful each time we saw him, always welcoming our family and creating fun conversations! We will be for sure back to this place next time we visit. Mahalo!

Ferraro’s has one of the best dinner atmospheres I’ve experienced in Hawaii. The view at sunset is beautiful experience, oceanfront, cozy lighting, and an overall peaceful, upscale vibe. I went for both lunch and dinner, and the Seafood Cobb Salad at lunch was probably the best salad I’ve ever had. Super fresh & flavorful, paired with the view 10/10. For dinner, the drinks were amazing (piña coladas), and the pizza was good as well. I asked for a custom spicy vodka pasta with lobster and chicken, and while they tried to make it work, the sauce didn’t taste like spicy vodka at all just kind of flat. The sea bass and portion is small so I reccomend appetizers . The tiramisu was the best part of dinner. Light, creamy, and a perfect way to end the night. Go for the views, the drinks, and that lunch salad. Would still come back for the experience overall!

The salad and crudo were really good. The scallop on the risotto was cooked to perfection but, the rice was a bit undercooked to my liking. The lobster was chewy.
Arjun V — Google review
We were sitting down for a dinner before sunset, the servers were very kind and made the experience fun and special. We ordered dessert first and got the tiramisu which was great! For the main course my husband had the squid ink pasta which I tried and we were not the biggest fan. The tomato sauce was too acidic and could have used more balance. I ordered the truffle pasta and it was amazing! My husband tried my pasta and liked my dish more than his also. Altogether I would definitely come here again and I think we would both order the truffle pasta! After dinner the hotel had a fire show just after sunset which was extremely impressive! It was a real delight to see the fire dancing because we had chosen a luau that didn’t have it, so I’m so glad I still got to see it. The hotel was quite busy at the time we arrived, the valet drivers were very nice as well.

We dined at Ferraro’s Italian at the Four Seasons Maui, and everything from start to finish was top-notch. We started with the Kula carrots — fresh and flavorful — and the Ahi crudo, which was tender, delicate, and absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I had the panko-breaded ahi tuna steak, and it was simply perfection — one of the best-tasting dishes I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive, and the ocean view made the evening unforgettable. Thank you for an excellent (and yes, expensive!) dinner that was worth every bite.

This was our special diner and so happy we ate here. The restaurant had such a great atmosphere. Everyone from hostess to wait staff to bussers you could tell enjoyed working there. Our view would have been amazing if the sun was up. Our food was as good the wine was really good. Brussel sprouts were my favorite. Beet salad not favorite. Ahi tuna dinner was good but just ok. It was crazy expensive but we knew that when we made the reservation. Happy we went but we’ll try other places next time.

We had an incredible experience at Ferraro’s! We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and the staff made it extra special by giving us a beautiful table with a perfect view of the sunset. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised by a short luau dance during dinner. Truly a memorable experience 😊

Spago is a glamorous eatery located in the Four Seasons Hotel, offering Californian-fusion cuisine and stunning vista views. The restaurant, opened in 2001, boasts an Asian-inspired contemporary design with unique stone, wood, and custom glass elements that frame spectacular views of the Maui coastline. Guests can indulge in a culinary experience featuring traditional Hawaiian flavors and locally sourced ingredients infused with Wolfgang Puck's California style and a touch of Asian influence.
We visited Spago in the four seasons Hotel and honestly the four seasons is a spectacular place to visit and just walk around. The restaurant Spago very well done excellent views everywhere, the staff very professional. The property itself is spectacular. This restaurant didn’t disappoint. We all had fish. It was great would definitely come back here in a second. The presentations of the food were something out of a movie. Cost is not something you’re gonna want to think about coming here cause nothing is cheap on the menu, but it shouldn’t be, we will be back.

What a pleasant surprise to find a spot with a separate Vegan menu! Not only having a vegan menu, but also being flexible and accommodating to make some adjustments to existing menu items. We found out that the GM is Vegan, so there was a lot of thought put into this menu and it showed all the way through from appetizers to dessert. We started with the Tostada, blackened tofu for entree, my kids did pasta and then the dark chocolate cake with coconut sorbet. It was awesome. The service from our server, Peter, was fantastic. He was very friendly, asked the kitchen questions based on our Vegan diet and knew the entire menu. I would recommend anyone looking for a fancy night out to dine here.

The staff was wonderful! They seated us at a table with a beautiful view of the sunset. The food was absolutely delicious! They even brought out a special dessert with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate syrup on the plate as a surprise. Couldn’t have picked a better restaurant to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary!

Tonight we enjoyed the launch of the Friday night cocktail food pairing for our anniversary. It was perfection. The service was impeccable, the food was excellent as per usual but the evening felt personal and special. Our 2 hosts (not just bartenders) created such a beautiful journey, sharing their stories and how they love food and creating cocktails. It was the added touch that most tasting menus just skip right over. They shared with us the expatiation of the food but we very much enjoyed how they created these cocktail choices and the road that led them here. Kudos Spago for a wonderful and memorable experience. What a beautiful way to celebrate our 20th! Until next time... thank you!

Four Seasons quality. The service was outstanding. We started at the bar while waiting for our table (we arrived 30 minutes early to enjoy a cocktail, totally recommended). The barman was great, and you "feel the service" right away. He explained the menu (at the bar) and prepared a few cocktails, including my favorite negroni. Then, at the table, the waitress was really nice and made good conversation. We had gnocchi (which wasn't the best, in my opinion), a really good sushi (avocado salmon), a macadamia nut-crusted fish (excellent), and a chocolate soufflé (good). The views are amazing and very romantic for enjoying the sunset.

Perfect place for sunset dinner! Service was good, the food was excellent. Ahi cones had really good texture and the flavors complimented each other. The smoked salmon pizza had a dill crème mixture that went really well with the salmon, the crust was light and crispy

Absolutely loved it. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was incredible. The servers we had were phenomenal (we had a team of two- Peter and Anthony). I really did come into the experience like “is this the 20th century? Spago? 🤨?” I was a bit hasty in my judgment. Great job 👏. We will be back
James A — Google review
The ambience was palatial and views stunning, the service was professional and knowledgeable, and the cocktails (alcoholic and NA) were delicious and creative (the wine list was impressive too with some good value as well as rarities). The food, on the other hand, was hit and miss. The gazpacho and tomato soups were truly amazing, and the chicken main was very homey and deeply satisfying (a la grandma’s cooking). The scallops and pork shank mains not so much. The pork shank was curiously tough and not particularly flavorful. The accompanying polenta and corn didn’t really do much for the dish. The “Hong Kong” scallops were ok, but nothing special. The vegetables they came with were a little overcooked and the whole dish looked and tasted soggy and the sauce watered down. For this class of establishment and price point we expected better - flawless execution start to finish. I would recommend this restaurant, but advise you choose your mains carefully. Bonus points for a sizable and reasonably priced kids menu. However, it did take them 30 minutes to seat us despite us having a reservation and checking in just before our reservation time.

Gannon's is an upscale, open-air restaurant in Hawaii that serves a diverse mix of regional cuisine. The setting is stunning, with views of the ocean and lush green vegetation. The food is excellent, with contemporary and classic dishes that are both tasty and visually appealing.
Great mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The views are perfect for a sunset dinner. The evening we went they had live music, I am not sure if that is a common thing, but it was a nice touch. Not too loud, not too invasive to the meal and ambiance. Fish and steaks were all cooked to perfection, and the staff was welcoming and inviting, fresh is how I would summarize every dish. We will definitely make this a main stay on our list.

Gather on Maui is the perfect spot for a destination wedding! We had our wedding here on August 1st with the ceremony at the wedding knoll and reception on the lower lawn. Bella was extremely helpful during the planning process and helped us select food/beverage options. The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Our guests said it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We loved the upside down pineapple cake especially! The setting was so beautiful and the sunset was stunning from the restaurant. It was also conveniently located a few minutes from the beach, where my husband and I were able to capture beautiful sunset photos. The locker rooms were also renovated and pristine with air conditioning. My bridesmaids and I were kept cool before the ceremony. We have already talked about coming back for an anniversary trip next summer! Thank you for hosting us on our special day! 🤍🤍🤍

Great happy hour spot! It’s such a beautiful location and an easy drive from the nearby beaches. Cara was our server and was always checking in. We had a great spot on the patio, there’s lots of umbrellas as well to keep you shaded and the views of the ocean and the golf course are lovely. We ordered the classic margarita and beers, then I had fish and chips and my husband had the smash burger. My fish and chips ($20 at happy hour) came with three pieces of marlin and were very tasty and chips were crispy (in a good way, a few other places on island have served limp sad fries), my husband really enjoyed his burger and was able to upgrade to hurricane fries (our new obsession). I also got a side harvest salad and it was just ok (raw onions on a salad and needed some feta or goat cheese!). Thank you for posting the happy hour menu online, we were very pleased with our decision to come here!

Amazing food! Absolutely the best food we had on the island! We were here for a wedding and the food was preselected. We had steak, chicken, fish, mash, veggies.. all of it was incredible! The view was great and the grounds were well taken care of.

Went for Happy Hour! We were seated outside at a table for three in the full sun when there was definitely better options. It wasn’t busy so I don’t think they had to worry about the tables for 4 being booked up. Server was fairly neutral in his demeanour, not overly friendly but did his job. The drinks at happy hour are fantastic! We had the margarita and a pina colada type cocktail and both were very good. We both ordered the wagu beef burger! My husband thought it wasn’t any better than MacDonald’s . I enjoyed mine more but for the price of $19 it wasn’t worth price. Fries were fine but none of the meal was that hit! Probably should have sent the fries back! The view and decor is stunning! I don’t think you will find a better setting! We moved to the bar for another drink and to watch the baseball game! Jessie and the other bartender were great! We would definitely return for the happy hour drinks but we didn’t think the food was up to par ! There is better value out there for food !

We came here after our wedding to enjoy a nice dinner with a gorgeous view and this restaurant over delivered. I can’t even describe how amazing the food was. We had Brussel sprouts and Focaccia bread as our appetizers and they were both impeccable. I also had the vegan risotto which had a creamy yet refreshing taste, I’ve been dreaming about going back just to eat there again! It has a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean and some greenery, we got some very nice family pictures of the view after dinner. Pita Paradise is a hidden gem in the Wailea Gateway Center, offering a blend of Greek and Italian cuisine with a sea-to-table concept. The warm interiors are adorned with murals, creating a cozy atmosphere for locals and tourists alike. The restaurant prides itself on using fish caught by its owner, ensuring fresh and high-quality seafood dishes. From grilled Mahi Mahi to Mediterranean tapas and cocktails, the menu features an array of delectable options.
The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are excellent. I started with the ziziki bread, which was delicious and a great way to begin the meal. I had Johnny’s Fresh Catch, featuring mahi mahi with Mediterranean slaw, and it was outstanding, especially with the spicy ziziki sauce. For any pitas that come with lettuce and tomato, I recommend substituting the Mediterranean slaw—it’s a great upgrade. The baklava ice cream cake for dessert was amazing, with fresh baklava, vanilla ice cream, and a honey drizzle that was even better than I expected.

We visited on 23 July 2025. This time nothing much to share as we didn't take pictures of dishes & drinks we ordered and served, took pictures of menu only. We were huge numbers of people, more than 20. Their food are very tasty, their service is excellent. Menu has vast choices. I was able to take just menu pictures. It's worth visiting when you are in Kihei, HAWAII . Menu pictures are below 👇

The first time I ate here back in 2014 it was very good. In 2025, not so much. ATMOSPHERE: Quaint corner spot on the lower level of the Wailea Gateway Center strip mall, with a small and private outdoor area seating area with big umbrellas. The bistro's interior has a very warm look and feel, almost romantic even. RESERVATIONS: Recommended, but we got seated immediately at the bar. FOOD: Lamb Pasta No longer offered but damn, it was tasty. Hummus -n- Pita This was a tasty little app that's now extinct. Lamb Kabob I had high hopes of eating a delish kabob like we had in Istanbul, but this recipe needed a lot more seasoning. The meat was fairly tender. DESSERT: Baklava Ice Cream I love ice cream and loved this too. SERVICE: We sat at the bar and had excellent service.

We had the best meal of our trip to Maui at Pita Paradise! As vegetarians, it can sometimes be hard to find great options, but this place absolutely delivered. We started with the pesto pitza appetizer — the pesto was incredibly flavorful and paired perfectly with the fresh veggies. For the entrée, the eggplant arrabbiata pasta was the highlight of the night, with a rich, unique sauce full of eggplant and onions that gave it amazing flavor and texture. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails and local beers, all recommended by our server, and they were fantastic. On top of the amazing food, the ambience was beautiful, and the live music added a wonderful touch to the evening. Huge shoutout to our server — she was so kind, friendly, and her suggestions made the meal perfect. Can’t wait to come back here on our next visit to Maui. Highly recommend!

Rather disappointed with food, the menu is limited and appealing, but the execution is very basic. The fish of the day was way too cooked (and way too expensive compared to meat, for 2 small skewers), the tuna tartare did not have any taste of tuna because of the amount of sauce. The outside is quite nice, though. And our waitress, Chloe, was fantastic.

Where do you find the best value in all of Wailea? Right here… at Pita Paradise. The owners are awesome… I remember going to their parents’ Greek Bistro back in the day… and that same heart is alive here today… The Mediterranean chicken pita… packed with flavor... The lamb gyro pita… classic and perfect… The Zeus burger… (A knockout) And the ahi appetizer… unreal freshness straight from the ocean… Don’t sleep on the chicken Parm either.. This isn’t just food… it’s sea-to-table done right. Captain Johnny still brings in the catch daily… and you can taste the difference… The service is warm… the vibe is authentic… and the value? In Wailea, nothing else even comes close. Mahalo you guys!!!

Manoli's Pizza Company is a family-owned restaurant and bar offering a delightful dining experience with its open-air seating. Situated in Wailea, it provides stunning views of the golf course and Mount Haleakala. The menu features 14-inch thin-crust pizzas with organic and gluten-free options, along with Greek appetizers and a variety of toppings. Additionally, they offer salads, pasta dishes, and an extensive selection of wines.
Loved Manoli's Pizza in Wailea. Good food, especially the Hawaiian Honey pizza (we went back twice for it!). Great value, and the view is amazing. Big shoutout to Big Josh for the awesome service – super friendly and made us feel right at home and was super patient with our kiddo after a long flight in from the mainland. Definitely recommend!
Bryan P — Google review
If a couple from Minnesota told you to come here and try to the pizza, you might have thoughts about their recommendation, especially as someone coming from the NJ/NY area. But when they tell you there's kalua pork and pineapple on a pizza and it's one of the best things they ate during their week in Maui, you are at least intrigued. The restaurant is lively even on a Monday night. The service is friendly and quick, and you can see why people come to sit on the patio. The Greek salad is no frills with its large bites of cucumber and tomato, but it's dressed well and they're not cheap on the feta (I mean that's why you ordered this salad to begin with, right?). But the star of course is the Hawaiian Honey, with savory pork, big juicy bites of pineapple, a slight bite from the onion, and a perfect sauce and cheese base. The real achievement was when you fold the slice to pick it up (because that's how you should be eating your pizza of course), the slice doesn't flop over, a true testament to the pizza's structural integrity. The crust is crispy; no points of demerit, just a note for your preferences. Get a margarita, definitely skip the unsweetened iced tea, get enough pizza for leftovers the next day, and be happy

Great location! We went around midday and it wasn’t crowded at all, which was perfect to grab a spot on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. The atmosphere really gives you that vacation feeling, super chill and inviting. We tried the Hawaiian pizza, and it was a solid price-to-quality ratio. One pizza to share along with an appetizer is right for two.

Great dive for industry folks to wind down after shifts after all the tourists have returned to their hotels to allow up and rest for morning. Open air with great staff, late night menu 10-12, and plenty of parking. You may even see the Gary wandering outside. Why go to the triangle?

If I had to sum up this place in one word, it would be "Don't". The food just isn't good. The only thing we liked was the cheesy garlic bread which was good bread and had a good amount of cheese... but zero garlic. Pizzas are super thin crust. The greek vinaigrette on the salad is neither greek dressing flavored nor a vinaigrette but some weird creamy flavorless sauce. For $15 we got 5 of the world's tiniest chicken wings that seemed to come right out of a frozen restaurant supply box. Check out the picture. The side of ranch is bigger than the portion of wings.

Our dinner plans were turned upside down on this particular night. We planned to have dinner at a place in Kihei that was closing for good but walk in's weren't allowed. Our second choice could've been had but with a 50-minute wait. Enter Manoli's, a place none of us tried and where we ended up. ATMOSPHERE: They're located within the Wailea Village Center, a small strip mall at the corner of Wailea Ike & Wailea Alanui drives. It's an older establishment, totally open-air and spread out across a roomy lanai. MENU: Italian-inspired apps, salads, pizza, pasta, sandwiches (lunch only), dessert, kids menu. BEVERAGE: Angeline Rosé This blend combined subtle flavors of watermelon and citrus. Absolutely smooth with no bite. FOOD: Calamari It was a very small portion for the price, and consisted of just teeny, battered rings. Flavors were all over the place as the pieces at the top weren't seasoned but the ones at the bottom were soaked in a Tabasco-like sauce. The share plates brought to us were dirty and oily, looking like they missed the dishwasher. Chicken Alfredo Creamy, cheesy, and not heavy. I added tiger shrimp that were nice and crunchy. The pasta was fettuccine, cooked perfectly al dente. A cute piece of buttery garlic bread accompanied. Smallish portion for the price but still highly recommended. SERVICE: Host greeting was friendly and professional. No reservations were needed. Female server took great care of us. She was attentive and extremely down to earth. TIPS: The "toppings" section of their menu can be added to any pizza or pasta selection. OVERALL: Chill vibe and fair pricing for the area.

After being frustrated at the islands gluten free options we went here and were delighted. As other reviews have noted their gluten free crust is the best I've ever personally had. We had Greek salad, Parmesan fries and the honey Hawaiian all of which were really good. The restaurant is nice, open air overlooking the golf course and ocean. Service was solid no real complaints.
Bill D — Google review
If you’re a foodie, I do not recommend this place. We had ragging bull/ Hawaiian pizza, our son had cheese pizza and it was not good at all to us. It was giving frozen pizza in a pinch vibe. The sauce lacked flavor and there wasn’t much on the pizzas, the cheese was basic in flavor and the flavor profile of the combinations didn’t satisfy anything for our palate. The middle of the very thin crust was mushy soggy. If you’re one to read reviews and take the time to find a good place to eat, trust me when I say there are better places to spend your money. Monkeypod is close by and so good we’ve already been 2x on our trip. Server was friendly but busy where we didn’t see her as much as usual places we eat, the gal that gave us our pizza dropped it quick and left and didn’t acknowledge me when I said thank you.

I love the food in this casual looking upscale restaurant. We were a little late for our reservation but the hostess sat us immediately. Our server was attentive and made good recommendations. The drinks were cold and refreshing. The hamachi crudo and crispy squash blossoms were good starters. The rosemary bread was just ok. The star of the meal were the black truffle mafalda and the gnocchi with lobster. The plates were huge and we ate only half of food. This is a nice place to visit when in Maui. Come hungry!

Went to Olivine for lunch during our stay at the Grand Wailea. Easily accessible from the resort grounds or the beachfront walkway. Handicap accessible through a ramp at the entrance. We were seated immediately (had a reservation though), but it wasn't very busy at noon. Nice, stylish atmosphere, warm colors in an airy space. Great views of the pool area and the ocean front. Beautiful. Welcoming, attentive and friendly waitress took our orders, dishes were served quickly at a perfect pace. Food was nicely plated, very tasty. Very good quality overall, but not at an exceptional level. Only disappointment was the limoncello dessert with dragon fruit jelly, bland taste, almost no lemon flavor and too sweet, hence only 4 star rating. Resort prices unsurprisingly, but well priced in general. The daily resort F&B credit can be used here. Recommended, would definitely return! Tip: the bill is coded as Grand Wailea Resort, choose wisely which credit card to use. Double tip by making a reservation via Open Table.

Very surprised here. Did not think I would have like this as much as I did. We got the grilled Italian salad, meatballs in pineapple marinara, spaghetti. All of it was delicious. The salad surprised me with how good it was. Meatballs were flat out delicious and the pasta actually tasted like home made noodles. Our server knew everything about the menu and her descriptions were dead on. 2 favs from me were the salad and the pineapple marinara. Everything is expensive on Maui.

This is a solid coffee shop located in the Shops in Wailea shopping center. It's more like a Starbucks, where you get your coffee and leave, as there are only a few tables and chairs inside (besides, you're in Wailea and you should be outside, not inside!). The coffee was good, but I only go the drip. It's located on the upper most level and closer to Wailea Alanui Dr. You can get free 1 hour parking, and I think you get validated for another hour if you buy something over a certain amount.

Wanted to buy a few boxes as souvenirs. Staff were polite, but when we asked about getting a second bag, just to hold the cookies separately, we were denied. They stuffed 5 boxes in one SMALL bag, when it would have been more appropriate to put them in 2 small bags or 1 big bag. The bag ended up being distorted from over stuffing. Poor customer service on their part. I initially thought twice about buying more for ourselves but changed my mind. Not sure if this is standard service across all Honolulu cookie company shops, or just this one. Update: I contacted customer service who not only apologized and sent me a more appropriate bag size accordingly, but they also sent me some cookies. I've since changed my review to 4 stars, minus 1 for the original issue. Overall, the cookies are delicious, the presentation is fancy, but their customer service could have been better initially. This is a company that's half taste, and half experience/quality.

The Kea Lani egg bar offers a variety of breakfast items that will satisfy any cravings. The buffet offers a great deal of variety, with options including delicious eggs Benedict.
Great place for lots of choices for breakfast, food is also pretty fresh!

We stayed at the resort for 10 days and was able to enjoy the delicious breakfast at Kea Lani each morning. The variety was great and food was fresh. In addition to the delicious food, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and made each morning a memorable experience. Thank you Barry and the team!

Breakfast buffet is excellent - very nice variety with some elements that change each day. Custom omelet/egg station, varying fresh juices, cocktail shrimp, and Asian breakfast items. Breakfast was included with our room so we ate here every morning. If not included, I could see that such a large breakfast would not be necessary every day on vacation, but it sure was fun!

Ate at the breakfast buffet during our stay at the Fairmont. We especially enjoyed the fresh papaya, macadamia nut sticky buns, and omelette bar. But the best part was the warm welcome & farewell from Porsche, who was our lovely server on our first and last day. Find yourself a table in her section!

We stayed at the Fairmont for a week and ate at the Kea Lani breakfast buffet a few times. All I’m going to say is whatever you’re doing Fairmont, KEEP IT UP. I was really impressed with the variety of food they offered for a smallish part of the restaurant. They had chicken and waffles, fried rice (can’t get enough of it), your basic eggs, bacon, sausage (two types I might add), an Asian section (dim sum, buns), a fruit bar, pancakes, French toast, pastries, yogurt, and my favorite, their omelette station!! Love, love their version of a loco Moco omelette. The beef was sooo tender. I also liked that they change up the menu. On our first day, they offered French toast and the second time we came, it was apple crepes. Really great food (especially compared to Duo located in The Four Seasons). You can read my comparison review there. Overall, great experience.

Stopped by for a buffet breakfast on a weekday, walk-ins are welcome. Costs $60/pp. Very decent selection of food items and fruits, fresh fruit juice, service is excellent.

Great spot to grab a cocktail and snacks while you watch the sunset. I love their decor and the cocktails are really good. The Logsdan is particularly fantastic if you're in to smoky whiskey drinks. The food menu is limited but quite tasty. Even when we don't stay at the Fairmont we like to pop in for a cocktail and a sunset.

Ama Bar and Grill is a casual resort outpost for Hawaiian poke bowls and lunch specials, plus fruit smoothies and cocktails. The restaurant is located near the pool and offers canoe lifestyle options like sushi, salads, burgers, sandwiches and local classics like poke bowls and pupu (appetizer) in an outdoorsy vibe. Swimmers can enjoy drinks by the pool or at the wrap-around bar in the Upper Lagoon Pool.
What a hidden gem! Great spot for a date night with ocean and sunset views!! Food and service was outstanding!!! We had the seafood platter to start, hard to pick a favorite but the salmon, oysters & lobsters were my personal picks. Then we had the beet salad & watermelon salad, great pallet cleansers, refreshing and tasty! Next was the chimichuri steak & fries, miso butterfish, chicken kabob and brussel sprouts. Again everything was great but the steak and fries were my favorite. Then we tried the sorbets and cream pies for dessert. All winners but the chocolate caramel cream pie and coconut lime cream pie didn't last long...lol I highly recommend going before this little restaurant gets too popular to get a table!!!

My wife and I visited this restaurant on 9/29/2025 and ordered two AMA burgers. We were served by a woman around 45–50 years old. Our order arrived after 30 minutes 🤬. The food tasted fine. After that, we asked a man passing by, around 30 years old, to bring us the check, but he said he wasn’t our waiter and told us to ask another server. That really upset me, which is why I gave this rating.

Great food and beautiful views. Husband and I had salads and they were delicious. Kids had burgers and they were good too. Drinks were well made. Been here 6 days and that was the best meal we’ve had so far on the island.

The menu is incredible and the seafood is so fresh and prepared to perfection. We must have tried every dish. All the flavors go so well together no matter what you order. My favorites are the menu Oysters, Beet salad, clams, seafood platter all the desserts! So tasty and gorgeous ocean view. Take your friends and have a nice evening!

This pool side restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Surrounded by award winning restaurants like Nicks and Ko, AMA can hold its own! Their dinner menu is full of flavor rich items from sharable, to entrees. I highly recommend the seafood platter that offers a half size of all their RAW bar offerings. My entree, steak frites was cooked to perfection. I also loved that they had gluten free options clearly marked on the menu and catered to my allergies without making me feel like a burden. I suggest going for dinner so you can enjoy a gorgeous view of the ocean/sunset while sipping on a glass of wine or a well crafted cocktail. Thank you for the amazing service and great dinner, we will be back for sure!

We came to this restaurant because we had paid for a one day pass to the resort to enjoy the beach and pool. Sadly this was the WORST meal we had in our time in Hawaii: my husband’s fish tasted fishy (and made his stomach ache), my shrimp didn’t taste fresh at all, the server served other tables that had gotten there after us, to name a few of the reasons we wouldn’t go back. the flavors were decent but it was $80 for a salad and tacos that were probably worth $40 for what they tasted like.

10/10 recommended! Menu offered at the swim up as well! Delicious! And Chris and Chris are the best!

Food is good. Disappointed in the Mai Tai’s. I would hope for the price it wouldn’t be a premix but made to order. It’s a good drink but a little too sweet for my taste. Regular chicken nachos would be a good compliment to the menu as my husband doesn’t care for poke fish. We just want a really good batch of nachos by the pool. Overall great service.

Nestled in the Wailea Gateway Plaza, The Market Maui offers a selection of gourmet sandwiches, smoothies, and coffee at reasonable prices. The menu features items like the Kumu Kale smoothie and sourdough topped with cured meats, olives, and horseradish. This cozy spot also offers a variety of charcuterie board elements along with fresh produce and chilled drinks. Visitors can also find imported wine and other picnic essentials here.
First off, The Market has both moved locations and changed its name to the Spoon and Key Market. See the photo of the notice on their old door. This market is wonderful! Great food, staff and ambiance. Breakfast all day. House cured meats. Vegetarian and gluten free options. Gelato. An affordable keiki (kids) menu at $2 per item. Worth the visit.

We ran into this place looking for breakfast , it was pretty empty and we decided to give it a go. It has a lot lot of other things you can buy apart from the food itself. We did a sw and coffee, the sandwich was really really good! Very filling and tasty. The reason I gave this place a 4 and not 5 star is the wait time. We waited for a pretty good time before the sw came. It was fairly empty and expected a prompt service.
Akash M — Google review
We tried coffee and breakfast here. Well, I'm not sure! I had to let go of half of the portion. Tasty strawberries but I think it should have been sit in the egg for longer or paired with cream. It was not the French toast I would eat again. The egg and sourdough toast with potato.. were a bit better but not far better. The potato were not well cooked and seasonings were put on just surface. Perhaps I should've ordered sandwich or wrap. The coffee drinks are average.

After 2 weeks spent in Maui, this was the best sandwich and coffee spot we could find on the island! Extremely fresh, QUALITY ingredients, and prices very fair. Maui is sleeping on this spot! Very good imported wine and charcuterie to go as well that you won’t find anywhere else in Maui!! A very legit spot. Come here for breaky or lunch, grab a couple sandwiches with your loved one and enjoy the walk through Wailea.

The service here was wonderful. The woman at the counter, Rebecca, was very helpful and the food was great. They have just one vegan option, a wrap, and they put a lot of delicious avo in it. Limited seating options, only one table inside and a few outside.

Hands-down absolutely the best sandwiches this side of Haleakala. The main problem I've found with eating at The Market is that it becomes hard to eat anywhere else! Top picks include the "Proper" BLT, Rob's Avocado-Turkey Wrap, and the Banh Mi pork sandwich (if you're feeling a little adventurous).

Sushi restaurant
Botero Lounge, located at the Grand Wailea Hotel, is a stylish and art-filled space that offers a diverse cocktail menu and fresh sushi. Situated in the open-air lobby of the Waldorf Astoria resort, it boasts an impressive collection of bronze sculptures by renowned artist Fernando Botero. The lounge features craft cocktails such as the gunmetal-grey Peaceful Night and Sakura in Bloom, inspired by the surrounding sculptures and gardens.
The setting of this spot definitely sets it apart- obviously the Grand Wailea is gorgeous! We went down early (around 5 PM) before everything got busy and had the best service with Laura! She anticipated our needs, was super friendly, and gave us some great recommendations of other things to do on island. After reading other reviews, I can only assume that the bar gets busier as the night goes on and it may take longer for service/ food/ drinks. However, we just ordered some sodas and a creme brûlée and both arrived in under 10 minutes (just how we liked it having a baby with us!). If you're heading in, I would recommend going early and leaving plenty of time if you plan on doing something afterwards- it's a pretty large bar/ eating area and I could tell the servers were running around, probably short staffed. That being said, we had incredible service and loved Laura!
Ellie E — Google review
We came here for a night cap after having dinner at The Shops next door. Plus, the Grand Wailea's Christmas lights were on at the front drive. If you haven't seen it, you must! ATMOSPHERE: The circular lobby bar has a high porte cochere-like covering that used to have beautiful frescos painted on the ceilings that they've sadly painted over. It sits in the middle of the open-air atrium surrounded by decorative pools, lush foliage and art work by Fernando Botero, who the bar is named after. Besides bar seating, there are also sofa lounge chairs and high tops. They have nightly entertainment but we missed it. There was a wedding reception going on which was winding down but we found seats on the patio area. Because it rained earlier, they pulled the cushions off the sofas so we were sitting on the still comfortable shells. MENU: Bar-style apps, chicken wings, burgers. SERVICE: We walked up to the bar to an unwelcoming male bartender. No smile, no greeting. When we tried to order, he told us to have a seat anywhere and a server would be with us. Poor gal seemed to be taking care of the entire bar by herself, yet she was still smiley, friendly, welcoming, and professional. You go, girl! OVERALL: Touristy, duh. Nice ambiance and not too pricey.

Located close to the lobby, on an atrium style platform in the central area of the Waldorf Astoria. Surrounded by various sculptures of Colombian artist Fernando Botero. Friendly welcoming staff, we were seated immediately. Access by a few stairs as well as a ramp on the opposite side. Highlight are the atmosphere and the live music in the evening. Orders for drinks and food were taken quickly and served soon afterwards. Complimentary nuts and iced water provided too. Drinks and food were good but nothing memorable. While you certainly expect to pay resort prices, drinks were somewhat reasonable but prices for the food were just crazy high. Hence -2 stars for the rating. We also received a wrong bill for our table, impacting the service quality.
Walter P — Google review
I have to give some context to the poor rating. Because, if you are looking for one of the best hamburgers you will have in your life, then you will find it here. I am telling you, the hamburger I received was easily a top 5 in my life. It was our first night there. Long day of traveling, so we were looking forward to some good music, which was good, btw, some cool refreshing drinks, and relaxing while we planned out the rest of our trip. It started off relaxing, but it took almost 20 minutes to have someone come get our drink order. Maybe I should have drank some water before I came because I was extremely thirsty, so this did not start well. It didn't bother me at first since this was my first night of vacation, so I was a bit more patient in the beginning. They finally showed up to take our order. We were told she would get our drink orders input and then would come back to our food order. No problem, we were not in a hurry. I was looking forward to trying a few dinks while I was there anyway. She did not come back until she delivered the drinks. Which took almost another 20 minutes. I am extremely thirsty at this point. She took our food order. I guess I should have ordered another drink then because I did not think it would take almost another 20 minutes to get our food. We are just over an hour in, and we get our food. I asked for another drink and was told they would send the server over. I started eating. It was amazing. I will share a photo. I am telling you this photo does not do this burger justice. I am telling you your taste buds will be dancing to the live music playing in the background. However, I have nothing to wash the burger down with. At this point. All four of us have nothing to drink. The server finally showed up, and we asked for another drink and some water as well. Almost another 20 minutes before it showed up. Good thing I ordered water as well. At this point, I am not feeling this place even though I just had one of the best burgers ever. I am thirsty, feeling ignored, and wondering what the problem is because all the tables around us are empty. It was not an extremely busy night. So, as you will see from most of my reviews. The experience ruined everything. I will remember that burger for the rest of my life, however, I will also remember that it takes more than two hours to order two drinks, a water, two hamburgers, some onion rings and a salad for just as long. If you go here. I would say order two dinks to start, make sure they take your food order as well, or just get it to go. Because I would expect you to be there for a long, long, long time. I think I have only had one other dining experience that lasted that long. It was at a 5 or 6 course steak house, not a lounge in a hotel.
John W — Google review
We loved it here! Favorite place in the hotel. Sam R was a phenomenal server. He was so attentive and genuine. Even though he was hustling around, he always made sure to answer our questions and was just such a delight to interact with. And Gabe provided a perfect atmosphere with his smooth voice. We plan to come back here the rest of our trip!
Karly V — Google review
Food, drinks, and vibes at Botero are all 10/10 but what really kept bringing me back was our server, Sharon. She was the absolute best - sweet, funny, accommodating, and so much more. Every interaction with her left me and my girlfriend smiling, and on our last day she even brought us a treat from her favorite bakery and showed us amazing pictures of beautiful spots on Maui. No matter what we did that day, we always came back to Botero to at least have one drink at the end of the night and see Sharon. You could see from how she interacted with her other tables that everybody felt the same way about her. Botero wouldn’t be the same without her
Tyler P — Google review
Sam was the star of the experience! My burger was super salty, Sam took care of it for us. The falafel was great. But Sam was amazing. I would see him literally walking so fast between tables and to the bar he looked like he could be running- then he would get to our table and squat down and take his time. Be present. Be focused and calm. Made us feel so taken care of and he was so so attentive. We couldn’t figure out how he could move so fast and then be so present with us. He’s an absolute AMAZING server!! Ask for Sam R!

Really incredible experience! This place has just been fantastic. We came here for lunch and it was so good we came back to try the dinner menu. Probably the best beet salad I’ve ever had. The squash blossom appetizer was out of this world. We tried several pizzas and they were fantastic. The Wago Bolognese was fantastic as well. Can’t recommend enough.

Tikehau Lounge is a top-notch tiki bar in South Maui that offers a mix of traditional and innovative cocktails, such as the classic Mai Tai and creative options like the Negroni with Kula strawberry ice cube. The pupus, including the poisson cru and garlic-infused poi with Ahi poke, are highly recommended. The bright and open atmosphere adds to the welcoming vibe of this Nouveau Tiki gem.
We dropped by during happy hour and left absolutely delighted! 🍹 We tried the Tropical Mai Tai, Calamansi Dream, and Lucky Star—each one was amazing. For bites, we had the Mini Poke Bowl, Taro Hummus, and Kalua Poke Slider, and honestly, everything was so, so, so good! Our bartender, Mari, was fantastic—she shared so much about the cocktails and how they’re crafted, which made the experience even better. If you’re a cocktail lover, this spot is a must-visit!

The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s the kind of place you instantly want to return to. A true highlight of the trip!

Wish we stayed closer. This was the best bar we’ve been to thus far. The drinks are expertly crafted by the bartenders with care and experience. We had their classic Mai Thais, their version of an espresso martini (sans espresso), their ultra violet, cannon ball shooters and some snacks (pickled trio and the ahi sliders). I would have tried more but the husband was concerned I wouldn’t make it to dinner. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend stopping here for a quick bite during happy hour.

We visited Tikehau Lounge last night during their second-year anniversary celebration, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We were seated right away at the bar and greeted by a bartender who was clearly exceptional at his craft—mixing creative cocktails with ease and great personality. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and completely in sync. You could tell they’ve been working together for a long time, and it really showed in the smooth, welcoming atmosphere. We ordered three dishes—the onion dip, pork sliders, and the braised beef—and every single one of them was outstanding. The flavors were spot-on, the presentation was great, and the service made the whole night even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Wailea. We’ll definitely be back!

This place blew me away! From the expertly crafted cocktails to the poke bowl and homemade banana ice cream sundae for dessert (yes homemade and salted rum caramel top it 😋), this is a new spot that you have to checkout while on the island! Excellent service as well, thanks Dominic and team!

Tikehau Lounge was hands down the best food and drink experience of our entire honeymoon in Maui. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck a perfect balance between relaxed island charm and the kind of refined, detail-driven service you’d find at LA’s Thunderbolt or NYC’s Dead Rabbit. The bar staff were not only incredibly friendly and welcoming, but also impressively knowledgeable and attentive. As someone with a severe peanut and tree nut allergy, I deeply appreciated how seriously they took my dietary needs—handling everything with care and consideration. One of the co-owners, Jeff, was on the floor himself, running drinks and checking in with guests to ensure everyone was having an exceptional experience. His passion for hospitality is palpable, and it shows in everything from the menu to the overall vibe. You can tell this place is a labor of love. Honestly, my only regret is that we only made it to Tikehau Lounge twice. If you're disappointed about not getting into Mama's Fish House, don’t be—this spot is a hidden gem that deserves just as much recognition.

So happy we stayed here. Was nervous after reading all the messages but reality is this is a fantastic place to stay. It’s huge! It’s a little old. The pools are all great. Not overly crowded. Kids have an area just for them. Only knock is there are way too many lounge chairs and they are tightly packed in. But then people will complain that there aren’t enough, so there you go. The grounds are beautiful the hotel is very clean. All the staff are amazing. We got the Costco deal or we would not have stayed here. Everything is expensive on top of Maui expensive.
TheDoug801 — Google review
We stayed at the Grand Waliea in mid October 2025. We had a wonderful time. I was concerned about staying at the resort after many of the so so reviews I read but we had no issues. Our room was lovely, clean and updated. All facilities and the hotel itself were beautiful and well taken care of. Sure there are some areas that could use a little TLC but I think reviewers of this were just being ultra picky. The time we were there would not be considered a busy travel time. So the pool and beaches were busy but we could always find a chair and umbrella if needed. Food and beverages are pricey, as they are all over the island. I do suggest going outside of the resort for meals. There are plenty of restaurants around that are within walking distance. We had a lovely stay at the Grand Waliea!

Rooms are very nice with large bathrooms, great shower, tub, and great soaps, moisturizers and lotions. We had a king sized bed a couch and a table. Large screen TV and a decent balcony. We stayed in the Chapel section with a pretty good view of the pool and the ocean. Valet parking was efficient although it seemed many people called the valet service and took their time to get to the front of the hotel. This is NOT a fault of the Grand Wailea but simply rude hotel residents who believe they are more important than everyone else. Room service was excellent, friendly, decent variety and was always hot. Location is simply stunning, Maui, the views, foliage, mountains, this is as close to heaven as is possible on earth. One big issue was yet another false alarm at 6 AM. This very same thing happened on our last visit at the same time where a recording and emergency alarms were blaring for about 10-12 minutes to evacuate the rooms and head for open areas outside. Of course it was a false alarm. This is inexcusable and I say this because it has happened to me before at the Grand Wailea.

Trying to be fair in my review but overall I was very disappointed. Pros-beautiful property, pool is fantastic especially for families. The staff are very friendly. Location is great, property and room is beautiful. Cons- they only allow valet parking, which wouldn’t have been an issue EXCEPT the valet took FOREVER. We waited at times 40 minutes for our car multiple times which caused us to be late to events and they didn’t allow you to schedule. The staff were working hard but extremely understaffed. We also weren’t allowed to go get our own car. Our fire alarm went off 3 times at 4am in the morning to a mechanical glitch Half the time when you call the front desk they don’t answer The bel hop never showed up but yet we were required to tip on our invoice. They absolutely knickle and dime you. We had leftover pizza and wanted to microwave it, it’s common for high end hotels to not have a microwave in the room but they didn’t have one available at all unless you wanted to pay $50 to use theirs. You have to pay and reserve even a very basic beach chair. I understand paying to reserve a cabana but to have to pay to use a basic chair on the beach is crazy. Overall I would not recommend, I feel very ripped off, especially with the fire alarm, service quality and staffing issues, I just feel very ripped off.

This is NOT a luxury resort regardless of what the website/price says. There are no real amenities worth staying here for the price. The staff was friendly but not helpful- Room service has a delivery charge + auto 20% gratuity. (Maybe this is standard but I’m not used to that In Waldorf Astoria hotels, or any hotel for that matter) the room is on par with a Holiday Inn Express that just got remodeled. Nice enough, but again, for the price it was disappointing. I cannot stress enough that there are no real amenities and they nickel and dime you for everything. No one offered to help us with our bag when we arrived at valet (which we didn’t mind anyway we were fine with carrying it) but they wouldn’t let us use one of their hotel bag carts. I don’t stay at a lot of fancy hotels so maybe all this is standard, but considering the price it is absolutely not worth it and I regretted staying here after my 2nd day. Save money on the hotel, stay somewhere closer to restaurants that don’t cost $$$$, and find a place with better service. I stayed at a Waldorf in DC and it was by far the most incredible hotel I’d ever went to, and this was a major disappointment. Not a bad a hotel, but do not go here for the ‘luxury’ or if you’re looking for great service. I’d only recommend this place maybe to someone who was mega rich, but even then if they were that rich I’d suggest staying somewhere nicer.

Pros: The pools and water slides were nice for and the beach access and beach were great. Rooms were cleaned daily and were large and nice. Check in and billing were easy. Cons: Very large property so it took a while to get where you were going. The only parking option was valet for $75/overnight. We chose to park our car offsite and received guff from a few certain valet attendants, others were nice. Beach chairs were available for free to carry out ourselves, but nicer lounge chairs with umbrellas had a fee starting at $75. Hotel does not offer leis at welcome. Overall: Hotel was pretty, well kept, clean, and had fun pools for young children. Experience would have been much better if there were hospitality extras and if parking was free for guests considering the price per night of hotel and additional resort fee. Would not consider this a “luxury” hotel.

This was my fourth visit to the Grand Wailea in 16 years and sadly will be my last. We came to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday - something I mentioned several times to the staff in our reservation and when we checked in, but nothing was done to make this occasion special. Especially, the cost of staying at this hotel. The resort now charges $150 a day to rent two chairs and an umbrella, which is absurd when you already paid close to $2000 per night. I am not sure why they are charging for chairs now; the beach has not changed at all over the years. They have complimentary small beach chairs, but only a handful. If you don't get there first, then you end up sitting on a beach towel in the sand. The rooms are extremely outdated and long overdue for a remodel. While high prices are expected in Hawaii, you truly don't get what you pay for at this resort. In contrast, The Four Seasons next door doesn't charge a resort fee or a fee for the beach chair umbrellas - a much better value and overall experience. I am not sure what the resort fee covers because it felt it was an added fee for nothing. Another frustrating detail: the resort provides 2 reusable water bottles in your room, and when we asked for replacements, they gave me a hard time and said I should not throw them away. I had no idea they went cheap on the water; they claim it's for the environment, but in reality, they don't want to spend the money on the fancy water bottles. Also, keep in mind that housekeeping only comes until 3 PM, then the staff leaves, so don't expect a late cleaning of your room. I have never been to a resort where I was searching for someone to clean the room. Overall, this was not memorable for my daughter's Sweet 16, and it breaks my heart that after so many wonderful family vacations here, we won't be returning to the Grand Walilea. The level of service and hospitality has gone downhill, and it no longer feels like the luxury resort it once was.

Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui is an upscale property offering a range of amenities such as restaurants, a spa, outdoor pools, and a fitness center. Guests can enjoy daily programming and access to the Mandara spa along with six pools including one with a water park-style slide. The resort has recently introduced Olakino, an adults-only wellness-focused pool featuring an infinity-edge saltwater pool surrounded by ample lounge seating and partial views of the Pacific Ocean.
Our stay at the Marriott Wailea in Maui was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth, professionalism, and genuine aloha spirit. The view from the resort is absolutely breathtaking. Every morning felt like waking up in a postcard. The entire atmosphere exudes peace and serenity, making it the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. One of the sweetest touches during our stay was the free ice cream by the pool, a thoughtful and fun surprise that made our afternoons extra special. A special shoutout to Jill, who truly went above and beyond. She was attentive, kind, and made sure every detail of our stay was seamless. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to hospitality, and she made a lasting impression on our family. The staff as a whole were incredibly respectful and responsive, addressing all our questions and concerns with care and kindness. And for our son, one of the highlights was getting to feed the koi fish in the front pond, a small moment that added so much joy to his trip and ours. We can’t wait to return. Thank you, Marriott Wailea, for making our vacation unforgettable!

Our flight was late arriving but we were greeted so warmly by the staff at the front desk and treated to "pog" our first taste of the resort and what awaited us. The quality of service at every level was beyond all expectation. Every member of the staff that we interacted with went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible. The sprawling grounds really makes you feel like you're in a resort rather than a hotel, as you wander around and explore every corner. There's always something interesting to see. The kids loved the pools even though our younger one was just a hair too short for the big water slides. They also enjoyed feeding the koi fish! The highlight for them was definitely the pool and the poolside food. Just being able to go from eating lunch to jumping into the pool and back was such a departure to their usual routine. Special shoutout to the beach chair/umbrella guy, he was "THE GUY". We didn't realize we had to book the chairs ahead of time at the beach desk but he was able to book us in on his phone and was very understanding and accommodating. Fully embodying the spirit of Aloha. He just beamed with hospitality. I had also forgotten my hoodie in our room and thought it would be lost forever. I made a missing items report the day we left and in less than a week I found that it had been Fedexed back to me! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. We will definitely return and probably bring more of our family to experience this wonderful resort.

We stayed here on a bit of a flyer as I call it as the Plantation golf course closed for two months and we moved our reservation here from the Kaanapali Westin on relatively short notice (4-6 weeks out). We absolutely loved it here. The staff were amazing top to bottom from the front desk to the room cleaning staff to pool bars to the pool wait staff and all in between. Additionally, the views and rooms were amazing. We almost never upgrade our room as we're not at the room much but here, it was well worth it. Additionally, Myriam Tehina was so extremely helpful in allowing us to move a reservation due to a death in the family and documenting it all in our account profile in their computers to simplify our check in upon arrival. We will absolutely be coming back here due to the great amenities and staff friendliness. Kudos to the team and to Myriam!

If you want a resort style vacation in maui, look no further. Things are expensive but worth it (and truly not as crazy as some resorts can be). Every aspect of our stay at wailea beach resort was amazing! The views, the pools, the rooms, the service and attention to detail, the access to the beach, the activities, and other amenities can not be beat. The food options were also delicious. Highly highly recommend the te au moana luau, the food at the adults only pool, the whales tale coffee, and riding the slides in the adventure pool (theyre more fun as an adult). We cannot wait to come back and get our free chocolate bars and POG juice!

My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary at the beginning of this month, great resort with lots of amenities! Only complaint is the parking garage, the spots are very narrow and most people park on or over the lines, wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't have to pay for daily parking as some days there wasn't a viable space open to park. Terrence at the front desk helped us out a ton, great guy & very friendly! Valet Charlie was so welcoming to us when we first arrived! Ed at the concierge was extremely helpful and gave us his own list of restaurants & places to check out off resort. Olakino was a great experience & well worth the price, Gerle & Kalvin were AMAZING, the girl with the dream catcher tattoo, Krysta, however forgot 3 of our drinks that we had to ask about some time later & seemed to want my wife to pour her own drink & box up leftovers herself which, for $1200 cabana, seems a little lacking on the hospitality. Highly recommend staying at this resort for a wonderful getaway. Beautiful views included.

I write this review in relation to the expectations that I get from paying the high price they ask to stay here. If the price would be half of what it is, it would be five stars for sure. Paying this premium rate and then walking in to a room where the lamp button falls apart when we go to the bathroom just isn't a great start. Furthermore, the whole place is a labyrinth and the signage is really not helping so much to understand which way is the best to get to different places. It was also very unclear how to get in and out of the parking lot with conflicting information given by different staff members. The adventure pool is pretty cool, but the main pool has these weird filter caps (or something) that sticks up in multiple places in the floor of the pool. I don't know how many times I almost fractured my toes on those things. As a parent of a small child, it makes it really difficult to walk along with your child, not to mention riding the baby water slide that has you landing right onto one of those things. The game room was basically full of malfunctioning retro video games with lacking instructions on how to choose/start the games. I would have preferred as selection of really good games that just work instead of all these buggy multigames. And I believe all the board games in the room are incomplete and thus not possible to play. The view from the room was amazing!

This hotel has an amazing location and views!! Infinity pool is just stunning! They have several pools, spots for towels! Everything looks impeccable! It’s so big that you don’t even have to share spaces with a lot of people! The beach is so good, you have access to the path around the rest of the hotels spectacular for exercise, walks and amazing pictures. They do have fees around $50 daily so if that is inconvenient for you knowing that you gonna receive that amount at the end of the staying can help you. We went for dinner to “Duo” for seasons and they provided the transportation! That dinner experience was amazing just in case you need a recommendation!

I stayed for a business conference and I was quite impressed with everything. The front desk staff are absolutely amazing, providing local chocolates and a special gift for me to take home to the kids. The conference provided breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday and not once was I disappointed with the quality of the food. Everything really was top notch, plus the sunset views can't be beat.

Longhi's Wailea is an Italian eatery located at The Shops at Wailea, offering a blend of Italian and Hawaiian cuisine. The restaurant features a tranquil open-air patio where guests can enjoy red-sauce pasta, seafood dishes, and Hawaiian pancakes. With moderate prices, Longhi's provides a menu with extensive and exquisite options for appetizers, entrees, and salads. Additionally, the restaurant offers Mediterranean entrees that are perfect for those craving fresh vegetables.
We went there for breakfast our first morning in Maui. We both ordered macadamia nut pancakes with bananas and coconut syrup. We shared the potatoes and a side of fresh pineapple. Everything was delicious and our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. The fresh pineapple wasn't as ripe as I expected, but still good. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and had a great peaceful atmosphere. We will try to eat there again.

First there were 2, then 3 more and finally 2 unexpected people at our table and the service staff was excellent, taking care of our orders expeditiously and precisely! Great food, we were there for happy hour and to listen to a local musician playing in the center of the shops. Ceviche, crab cake, chicken pizza, eggplant parmigiana and fish and chips along with wine and gin, perfect from beginning to end. The only problem was the parking, very full and long wait to leave after the concert, we should have been there at 4:30 instead of 5pm! If we didn’t get a validation from Longhi’s, the parking would have cost a pricey $12.

We came here for dinner located at the Shops of Wailea. The service a really good. The server did an excellent job. unfortunately the food was not equal. The portions were really small. The crab cake and salad were tiny (Look at the pictures). The salad barely had anything in it. It was a pretty sad salad. The ribs were very under seasoned and bland. They were well cooked just had no flavour at all. The lobster cannelloni was probably the best dish out of everything. We had a party of 4 adults and 4 kids. The kids did enjoy their meals from the kids menu. They had the mac and cheese. Which is always a hit with my kids no matter what. Overall based off the price, portions, and taste we would not come back here. I would not recommend eating here. There are better restaurants in the area.

Our waiter was excellent. We ate dinner here but apparently their breakfasts are excellent. We walked over from the Wailea Beach Resorts so we didn't have to pay for parking. The calamari appetizer was nothing to write home about. The rigatoni Bolognese was great. Chicken Mediterranean was just okay. Skipped dessert and went to the ice cream place in the mall a few doors down

The food was good, I loved my Papaya plate. My eggs woth fish were ok, my wife had some pancakes with macadamia nuts and they were amazing. My friends had some poached eggs and they were really good as well. The service was good but our waiter wasn't that nice, we asked for double capuchinos and they tasted like they had a single shot (more like milk with a splash of coffee), when we mentioned that to the waiter she didn't offer an extra shot or to change the coffee, she just mentioned we got what we asked for. In general the place is good.

Great brunch. I had the blueberry and ricotta stuffed buttermilk pancakes with side of bacon and my husband had the build your own omelet. The pancakes were delicious. Lovely zing of lemon zest in the ricotta was a nice surprise as it wasn’t mentioned in the menu description. Bacon was thick sliced, just crispy enough and full of smokey flavor. My husband thought the omelet was okay— he wasn’t a fan of the sausage they used. The service was VERY friendly but overwhelmed and under staffed. Being the day after Thanksgiving you’d think they would have been better staffed for a busy day. We waited about 20 minutes to give our order, another 20 to receive the food and, after our plates were clearly done and nearly clean, yet another 10 minutes to receive our check. I did think it odd that the fire alarm went off while we were dining, yet no one moved and no management gave instruction as to what we should do. I finally asked a gentleman clearing tables if we needed to leave and he simply said it’s “all good— don’t worry about it.” Overall, the atmosphere is excellent, food was tasty, and staff friendly. This is certainly a place I would come back to again— I think they may have just been having an “off” morning. Our food cost for two was $50 with tip. We did not order any beverages.

Nestled within the enchanting Hotel Wailea, The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea is a romantic haven that offers breathtaking views of three Hawaiian Islands. Under the culinary expertise of Chef Bryan McMahon, guests are treated to a global menu that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmers and fishers. The dining experience is set in an alfresco atmosphere where unique flavors come together to create unforgettable dishes.
I hightly recommend the Chef's Garden Table dinner experience (which we did for our anniversary), located in the garden of the restaurant, it was just the right amount of intimacy with an amazing view for sunset. The chef was so friendly and you could tell he put so much effort into every detail on his food, not just on presentation. We left SO happy. Breakfast is absolutley amazing as well.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary dinner at the restaurant and also visited here every day of our stay for breakfast. We really enjoyed the food and service. The views and atmosphere were unbelievable! Great spot to celebrate a special occasion. - For dinner, it is a set three course menu and we informed them prior about our dietary restrictions and allergies. They accommodated us and provided vegetarian substitutions for some dishes which we appreciated. - breakfast was great every day and we tried a few different items on the menu, all great - vegetarian selection is somewhat limited but they do remove meat or offer substitutions for dishes - we really appreciated the care and attention to detail, they gave us a card signed from the restaurant staff which was special

We had an incredible evening at The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea, easily one of our top meals on Maui. Before dinner, we stopped at the Birdcage Lounge for a drink to catch the sunset, and the experience alone is worth the visit. The parakeets that circle the upper rim of the room create this wild, energetic atmosphere—chirping nonstop until the moment the sun sets. As soon as the light dropped, they all went completely silent. It’s fascinating, and absolutely ask your server about the story behind them. For dinner: Starters: • Hamachi Crudo — beautifully fresh, bright, and balanced with tropical flavors. • Prosciutto Appetizer — excellent combination of salty, sweet, and delicate textures. Mains: • Butter Poached Lobster — perfectly cooked, tender, and paired with an outstanding saffron-based broth. Rich but not heavy. • Snake River Farms Ribeye — incredibly flavorful, cooked exactly right, and one of the best steaks we’ve had on the island. Desserts: • We finished with Chocolate Mousse and Mango Passion, both excellent—one rich and silky, the other tropical and refreshing. While portions appeared small at first, the pacing and quality made the meal surprisingly filling. Everything was executed at a very high level, and the flavors were consistently excellent. Service was exceptional from start to finish—warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being overbearing. The entire evening felt special. Between the Birdcage sunset, the great energy, and the quality of the food and service, this was one of the best dining experiences of our trip. Highly recommend.

Our family of four had a stellar experience at The Restaurant tonight. We shared 2 3-course meals with the Burrata and Scallop Risotto to start, Ribeye and Maine Lobster for Entrees and Baked Hawaiians for sweets. It was hard to decide what the best dish was. Ian our server gave us a complimentary glass of Champagne and Diego from the kitchen sent out an order oysters at no charge. We have never experienced such exceptional service. Ian and Diego made our vacation in Maui. Thank you!

To sum it all up quickly- It was 150 per person and food just didnt hit. You know, slap your mama kind? Nope didnt hit at all. Bland and view was beautiful. So, drink n be merry at the birdcage next door maybe? Wont be back to have dinner but maybe a drink or two at birdcage yes.

We stayed at Hotel Wailea in Maui for a week and ate at their restaurant for Christmas 🎄and it was amazing! We really bonded with the head chef Ryan Cruz as he was saying hi to all the tables. He invited us into his kitchen to watch the incredible cooking! He lit my dessert on fire 🔥! This place deserves 1-2 Michelin stars and I am sure it will be in the next year! With the Christmas spirit and the incredible surroundings and company, it was truly one of the best dinners of my life ❤️ Weston (the dinner waiter) was absolutely amazing. We actually ended up eating at the restaurant twice and he had our preferences memorized from the first dinner and knew exactly what to recommend for us during the second dinner. We also ate here every AM for breakfast as well. The team was soooo amazing. They helped us try passion fruit because it was so hard to come by at end of season. Danny, the waiter for breakfast, was totally adorable and top notch! He was so friendly and cool and just was totally impressive in his service abilities. He always had an infectious positive attitude even on xmas eve and day!

Mulligans on the Blue is a charming open-air Irish-American restaurant and bar located at Wailea Blue Golf Course, offering stunning ocean views and live music. The venue combines Celtic and Polynesian hospitality to create a unique "Irish aloha" atmosphere. With its authentic Irish decor, including Guinness signs and polished woodwork, Mulligans sets the stage for nightly live Irish music as well as jazz performances.
If you want a sports bar to watch NFL Sunday football this is the place. They have multiple big-screen TVs and had three separate football games on, so whatever team you like chances are they’ll be on one of the TVs. Oh, and as an added bonus, this most definitely is a local’s hangout which added to the great atmosphere. We sat at the bar to watch the games and the lone bartender was severely over worked. This dude was literally sweating trying to keep up with the patrons’ demand for drinks and eats and he did a great job, that’s why I rate the service as a five. Okay, on to the food. I had a pot pie that was served piping hot and chock full of tender chunks of beef. The crust was crisp and flaky too. The only critique is that there were very few veggies, it was pretty dried out and too salty. But hey it had a ton of meat folks so I can’t really complain. My wife had the fish and chips. The fish and fries were both hot and crunchy so no problem there, although we’ve had better tasting fish. In the end, we probably would not go back here to eat, BUT as a sports bar is not all about the food and since we only tried two of the items on the menu, that’s why I give the food a four star rating.

Fabulous Service and Food at Mulligan’s on the Blue in Maui, Hawaii. I wanted to extend my sincerest thanks Michael O’Dwyer and the entire staff at Mulligan’s on the Blue located at 100 Kaukahi, St. in Wailea/Kihei, Maui. If you are looking for a family-run business great for families, couples and individuals alike, that serves especially tasty food and cold drinks with entertainment, against the backdrop of historical Irish flair, beautiful palm trees and the picturesque Maui sunset—Mulligan’s on the Blue is the place to go. I went in search of an appropriate place to bring my wife and tween children with good food, excellent attention to the patron and entertainment while in Maui. I am happy to say that Mulligan’s provided us with a phenomenal experience. The food at Mulligan’s was especially tasty and savory. I recommend the brisket ribs and BBQ ribs—the meat falls off the bone it’s so tender. The coconut shrimp were mouth watering and the cheeseburger and fries were perfect. Additionally, the service at Mulligan’s was excellent. At the outset, a special “Mahalo” to owner, Michael O’Dwyer. Despite a packed restaurant owner/manager/ and all around great guy, Michael O’Dwyer, took time out from cooking to cordially greet my wife and children and recount a bit of the restaurant’s history referencing several pieces of poster art hanging on the wall. He also let us know that, as a family run business on Maui for almost 25 years, the restaurant’s food and service were a source of familial pride. Family, staff, local patrons and visiting customers, alike, all contribute to the restaurant’s success. When my family arrived at Mulligan’s, it was busy. Even though Mulligan’s was very crowded, Juan and Mauricio, our waiters, provided us with a table quickly and efficiently—minimizing wait time. Juan and Mauricio, the gentlemen who took our orders and assisted us, were friendly and cordial. Juan explained menu options, suggested food we might like to sample, made polite conversation with my wife and children in both Spanish and English, was very attentive to me and my family and, I noticed, to each person seated at the other tables. Both Juan and Mauricio provided us with exceptional service over and above what normally might be expected—and more than what I have received at other restaurants in and around Maui and NYC. Especially, in view of the many other restaurant guests to which they had to tend. Juan and Mauricio were fantastic. They understood my wife and kids were hungry and handled our orders quickly. Juan remembered what each one of us ordered and placed the correct plate in front of each person quickly and seamlessly. Incredibly impressive in view of the number of tables he was handling that afternoon/evening and the number of orders he must have taken. The staff at Mulligan’s was incredibly attentive to all of our requests and made it a point to pass by the table on three or four occasions to politely inquire whether everything was going well and whether we wanted additional food or drink. The staff contributed to an overall great dining experience as a result of their tireless efforts. In short, Michael O’Dwyer’s Mulligan’s on the Blue provided great food and great customer service in a courteous, professional and friendly manner. When friends, colleagues and others ask me for a recommendation for a place in Maui with great food and excellent service, I will let them know that they have to get to Mulligan’s on the Blue in Wailea/Kihei.

We stumbled into Mulligan’s Irish Pub on a Thursday and had no idea we were in for such an incredible night. They host a magic show for only a $10-per-person cover—an absolute steal for the quality of entertainment! We had our 9-year-old with us, who loves magic, and the experience couldn’t have been more perfect. Brent, the magician, not only put on an amazing show but also brought our son into the act and genuinely encouraged his love of magic. It meant so much to us and absolutely made his night. As Brits, we were also seriously impressed with the food—it was awesome—plus the drink prices were great, and the whole place has such a pretty, inviting setting. We could not have loved it more. Highly, highly recommend!

Great patio! Would be a wonderful spot at sunset, we just missed it. We had a large party they were very accommodating.Everyone enjoyed their meal, fish and chips was a fan favorite. Finished with apple pie and ice cream sundaes (both come in shareable portions). Really friendly staff! Our waiter Mauricio was awesome!

Myself and my (BRAND NEW) fiancé Gage went to Mulligan’s only 20 minutes after he proposed to me to watch Brenton Keith’s magic show. My parents in Canada phoned into the restaurant to ask for a bottle of champagne to be sent to our table to celebrate, owner Mike got this sent over straight away from a phone call!! We had the BEST experience watching the magic show and soaking in all of our own magic of the best day ever. Brenton made us feel so special during his magic show and it couldn’t have been a better experience. THANK YOU MIKE, BRENTON & MULLIGAN’S STAFF!!!!!!!

Went on a Sunday. They're very busy as this was the day before St Patrick's day. The shepherd's pie was really good, the top shelf Margarita was a great, and the Caesar dressing on the Caesar salad was amazing 🤌🏼

La Catrina Cantina Y Pizzeria in Wailea, Maui, HI is a casual dining spot with charming pink and peach walls. It offers a delectable menu featuring wood-fired pizzas, pastas, and Italian entrees. The restaurant hosts a Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm Wednesday-Sunday.
Had a great time going out for a family dinner here. Everyone liked their meals and the price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity given the location. I had the tropical short ribs and a mai tai at the suggestion of our server. Suggestion was excellent and our server was very friendly and helpful. There was a birthday in the party and they served her a complimentary slice of homemade cake which I unfortunately forgot to get a picture of, but it was a homemade raspberry tres leches cake. All in all I don't eat out that much in Maui, but I will absolutely be returning here.

Good drinks and food! We appreciated the explicitly vegan menu options, which we haven't found many other places around. For apps we got cauliflower wings and guac/chips. The cauliflower wings w mango habanero sauce were delicious. Hoped for more dip on the guac and chips but it was also quite good. For entrees we got the taco salad and vegan enchiladas. Recommend the vegan enchiladas more - the sauce and filling were really great!

Solid exploration and perhaps a little abuse of the new La Catrina Mexican experiment here in Wailea. D-y-n-a-m-i-t-e quality, creativity, and cocktail creativity. Abuse? Well, the first hour of HH (there's 2) everything save for the entrées are half off... so killed everything on a veritable power play of yums. (ALL) 6 appetizers, 1 mole enchilada, 1 salad, and 7 cocktails... for under $100... after tax... in Wailea... un-freakin-believable... Favorites? Appy: All are super flippin' good but I'd say the Poblano Dip with Serrano, corn, and Oaxaca cheese. Cocktail: I'd have to go with the Caliente y Fria - 21 seeds Cucumber jalapeño tequila, elderflower, lime, agave, Cucumber, jalapeño, coconut water, black salt rim. We only did one salad but the House with their homemade cilantro dressing almost made Sara fall over. Same with the entrée... the mole was killer. I feel like we won a shirt tonight.... but we seriously bibbed up and tied one on after all the time in the sun. Was like a NY Times review here and 100% worth it 😅

I sent the spaghetti and meatballs back because the meatballs in middle wasn't even warm. Outside was hard and dry. Sauce tasted little bit like bottle or can sauce, seriously, I can't say for sure but I know good home cooked Italian red/marinara/meat/Pomodoro/Bolognese sauce! Even our friend that has eaten here before said the same thing about the sauce that it tasted like bottle sauce. The free bread they give is just bread, no flavor,no Crispness or warmth just dry. The pizza is ok at happy hour prices but I wouldn't pay regular price. If you want good pizza go to Monkey Pod right up stairs in next building. They have a nice wine selection and friendly staff here, nice environment but food quality is definitely not happening.

I thought it was OK. I personally wouldn’t go back, but it was still pretty good Italian food. If you’re nearby, and in the mood, it’s got about everything you want in an Italian restaurant, but it’s nothing great.

Five stars and well deserved! Amazing gluten free pasta! I got the sausage penne and I was so happy at how great it tasted. This is a very expensive restaurant we spent over 70 dollars for dinner but it was really good! If you want to treat yourself out then def come here! The red velvet cake is the BEST my husband has ever had in his entire life. Wish there was more gluten free dessert selections though You need to come here!

La catrina is a very new place owned by the same person who owns fabiani in kihei. The staff is super nice especially Amanda the hostess. We order the fried taco and birria taco. The beef short rib Berria taco was excellent especially when you dip it in the birria sauce. You have to try this place out.

Great option for quick dinner/snacks. Food quality is great. Sashimi is fresh. Cocktails are delicious. Great view from the bar. Performance in the evening.

What a great comfy spot with an awesome view. We usually only come here for pre-dinner drinks when we eat at Spago, but we wanted to try the sushi and some cocktails. Food was really good as was my martini. They also had a singer and a hula dancer, which was great. Place gets busy early.
Paul B — Google review
We had a wonderful time sitting at the lobby lounge watching the hula dancer and singer over drinks and sushi. The singer really amazed us with his wonderful voice our whole table could not get over how great he was. We could have stayed and listened to him sing all night. We asked and he said he could be found on Spotify as Hoaka. That music is him with another guy and it’s not exactly the same as what he was doing solo. I wish I could find a playlist of just him and what he was singing during the hula show. It was so good! Everybody we encountered from the hostesses to guys clearing tables to the manager, everybody was just so sweet. Our waitress was not that friendly but everybody else made up for it. It was my sisters birthday and we just loved our time there. The drinks, alcoholic and non, were very good. Sushi was great. It’s a beautiful resort with the ocean view and breeze coming through. There was a guy that came and blew the conch before going to light torches around the resort. We wanted to keep listening to the singer so we didn’t follow him. Definitely would recommend lobby lounge and would come back again!

This place is stellar. I really just wanted some fire 🔥 sushi for dinner and this place delivered the jalapeño roll and the waigu infused roll were slammin'. I also ordered an unagi hand roll that was gone before I was able to take a picture of it 😳. Considering this is in the lobby of the Four Seasons, I will definitely be back!

The Grand Wailea Dining Room is a luxurious establishment with excellent service that features seating inside and out, as well as buffet style options. They offer fresh made to order entrees to go with their selection of juices and coffee. The resort hotel's dining room is very large and gorgeously decorated, making it perfect for breakfast or dinner.
Had the rose brunch on sunday and it was excellent. Large selection of seafood, dim sum, and traditional breakfast options. My favorites were the sashimi and shrimp shao mai. Live music and view of the ocean added to the nice vibes.

We’ve been on a Wailea brunch roll lately! We came for their Sunday Rosé Brunch ($120 p/p, 11a - 2p). ATMOSPHERE: Ikena (formerly known as the Grand Dining Room) is the located in the atrium of the Grand Wailea Resort. Open air, high ceilings and a gorgeous ocean view with available outdoor seating. Due to it being Pride Month, they had a themed event called “Rosé & Rainbows”, complete with a DJ playing dance music, a rainbow balloon-decorated social media setup, even rainbow layered cake. HIGHLIGHTS: -Snow crab (clusters & claws; nice & fresh; drawn butter is brought to table) -Lobster claws -Oysters -Shrimp cocktail -Pokē -Prime rib -Pork loin -Korean fried chicken wings (very tasty) -Steamed fish (cream sauce with spinach & cherry tomatoes; excellent) -Dim sum (potstickers & shu mai) -Crabcake benedict -Omelette station (nice selection of ingredients) -Breakfast potatoes (but no hash browns) -Soup (egg drop, very good especially with cracked black pepper) -Breads & pastries -Ube waffles (hard & crumbly from sitting under the heat lamp; avoid) -French toast (mainstream; ube whipped cream available) -Assorted desserts, including vanilla bean ice cream -Make your own Bloody Mary station (extra charge) -Mimosas, cocktails & wine (extra charge) SERVICE: Harold was our friendly & attentive server. Great job! TIP: 20% kama’aina discount! OVERALL: Not crowded which was great. Adequate selections, relaxing vibe. Not many brunches offer crab but Ikena does!

We went for the Rose brunch ($115 per person) on Father's day. Service was outstanding. Donna was our server and she was very attentive. The prime rib was very very tender! The shrimps and oysters were my favorite. They had a made to order omelet bar which was very popular but I spiked it. The rose included with our meal was decent. The French toast was ok. The ahi with capers was excellent. There was also lots of baked good, but I skipped that. You can purchase additional drinks if you like. I just had water and Rose. The coffee included was disappointing for the price. The live music playing was very pleasant with the meal.

I tried seafood buffet. Seafood is just name only here. No lobster claws, No snow crab, No oysters No clams. Only seafood is shrimp and small crab claws. Nothing special of this seafood buffet. Not recommend this place if you are into seafood. Quality of buffet foods are just mediocre.

Came for the Sunday brunch ($65 for adults and $30 for kids) to celebrate a birthday. Sat at 1130 and finished eating by 1230. The restaurant wasn't full. The seafood chowder was really well made. Meat station was good... suckling pig was a little dry. We did enjoy the eggs Benedict with crab cake the most. Sushi, crab legs and shrimp were all pretty good. Oysters we're not super cold, which can be a bit unappealing. Dessert selection was good. Macarons were tasty... the extra sugar on the plate is probably not needed. All in all, we ate well and enjoyed the selection and service.

A full service dining room, very large and elegantly decorated. They offer seating inside and out with exceptional service. The dining room being very large and providing seating outside as well as inside this was a great establishment for breakfast. The large windows and open doors allowing the tropical sun made the ambience very vibrant and refreshing. They offered table service as well as buffet style options, the buffet options were excellent in terms of freshness, quality and variety. A vast selection of fresh fruits, rolls, eggs etc. The table service also provides fresh made to order entrees to go with the fresh coffee or selection of juices. One thing I sought out was that fresh island pineapple which was absolutely perfect! Cheers!

Lehua Lounge is a beautiful and secluded poolside lounge with stunning views of the ocean. It's perfect for enjoying cocktails and light fare in a relaxed setting with breathtaking views. The service is attentive but could be better if busy, and the atmosphere is perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy a gorgeous sunset.
If you’re staying at the Andaz, this is a must-try place for drinks! And we ordered food from them the first day that we were there and on the last day as well when we were packing up, and the room service was incredible! Sarah, the room service delivery lady, was so sweet and kind! The food turned out to be amazing. Highly recommend for casual food and drinks if you’re at the beach and at the infinity pools all day long at the resort!!!

Lehua Lounge in Andaz-Maui was very enjoyable. Our waitress, Heidi, was friendly and took good care of us. The live entertainment was excellent (Jason Arcilla) and the ambiance was peaceful and beautiful. My Husband had a Mai Tai and I had a glass of the house Chardonnay. Both were good. The Parmesean Fries & Lobster Grilled cheese with salad were delicious. I have also enjoyed their Ahi Poke on another visit. Highly recommend Lehua Lounge. Valet parking is validated by the lounge so a tip is always appreciated by the friendly valets.

We stopped in for some pre-dinner drinks. ATMOSPHERE: The bar is outdoors, pool side at the Andaz Wailea. The bar seating area is fairly large along with intimate sofa style seating with a gas fire pit, and a long communal counter. There are views of the pool and ocean. Live music was happening on this particular night. MENU: It's mostly drinks but they also have a small food menu of bar-type snacks like chicken wings, sashimi, and brussels sprouts. SERVICE The bartender was friendly & welcoming. OVERALL: Nice place, fair prices.
Maui T — Google review
The bar is situated overlooking the top pool on the Hema tower side of the Andaz hotel. Atmosphere: the view around sunset and after can’t get much better than this. As the food is served poolside all the plates and glasses are shatterproof. (Plastic) The vibe is relaxed and upbeat with music emanating (not too loud) from the bar. I enjoyed seeing the bartender bounce to the beat while serving up drinks. Food: the quality of the fish tacos (tender fish and stuffed tacos) and mochiko chicken bowl (crispy and spicy) is high. The serving size was on the small side, which I appreciated. However you could say lower value for money. Service: a team of servers came to our table to take requests, bring our food and drinks and check-in. I love to see great teamwork. Thanks for a great first meal at the hotel.

Nick and Phil were an absolute pleasure!!!! Our waiter Phil was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. Nick came around our table to help clear and enhance our experience. Thanks Nick, Phil and Andaz for the absolute best experience! We look forward to next time!!!! :) - Savannah & Samantha

Pretty sure I got food poisoning from the Ahi Poke bowl. The fish was slimy. My husband’s fish tacos were inedible and didn’t look at all like other pictures posted here. Our server was also not very attentive. The only edible dish was the chicken bowl so my family of 4 ate from my daughter’s plate. Such a disappointment and waste of $150.

Having explore the beaches and restaurants around South Kihei, we decided to catch the sunset from the open air poolside restaurant of Andaaz hotel. The staff were courteous and the wine and drinks were good. Spent a couple of hours till the sun went down listening to a couple of musicians sing popular Hawaiian and english songs. The walkway along the beach is also good to explore.

The menu also features delectable popcorn and award-winning gluten-free chocolate treats, all crafted by a passionate local couple dedicated to providing 100% gluten-free options.

Great local food truck that features Ecuador food with Hawaii's island touch or vice versa. The Ecuadrean chicken stew is super yummy, tender well cooked, off-the-bone chicken, crispy plantain chips, tomato, and avocado moose. Seafood ceviche is also super yummy, octopus, a type of fish I can't name, shrimp. We would like to come back one day again before we head back to Seattle. We definitely like to support local business and coming back again is a great way.

Simply INCREDIBLE!!!! We did not plan to eat here at all. It looked cute, they had great music and we stopped for "just a snack". The food was so incredible that we ended up getting more food and staying here for dinner. It was amazing!

New favorite treasure on this island! We only had enough room in our bellies to try one dish (the Piska ceviche mixto) but it was sooooo sooo good. Will have to make another pilgrimage here before departing back to California. Delicious dish, beautiful presentation, and well balanced flavors. I've had a lot of ceviche (both Peruvian and Mexican) and this is one of the standouts. The mastery behind each ingredient deserves as additional star. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, not a grain out of place. The shrimp was beautifully prepared. The octopus had a good acid-brined bite. The fish was cut carefully and evenly. The plantain chips were a nice addition and avocado mousse added that well craved fattiness. Overall - Give it a shot next time you're on Maui.

Really delicious food, relaxing yet swanky vibe and chill service. We loved everything we ordered and are excited to eat here again!!! Tried a lot of dishes, from sushi to king salmon cooked on a hot stone - did not leave a morsel behind! Keiki menu has lots of tasty options as well.

Amazing views and amazing sushi! Literally some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the sushi boat experience presented by Chef Mark. Absolutely incredible - beautiful presentation and incredibly fresh fish. If you want the perfect sunset experience on Maui, this is one of the best ones. Service was excellent, too.

Best “hidden gem” in Wailea. Food, drinks, atmosphere, and especially the service are incredible. Pilina is probably the best hotel “lobby bar” I have ever been to. There’s an area to sit for more formal dining, but the open views to the Pacific from the bar are unmatched. Couldn’t recommend this spot more. We were able to walk in at peak hours without a reservation which was great. We canceled multiple dinner reservations over our stay to re-visit this spot.
Brett L — Google review
A friend wanted to check out Wailea's newest bar. ATMOSPHERE: They are the Kea Lani's new open-air lobby bar. I don't know the details of the past, only that the space used to be meeting rooms. What a better use of space and more so with the view, as sunsets are killer. The vibe is that of a swanky backyard, complete with live music, gazebos with swinging chairs, lounge sofas and a spacious bar top. Smoky aromas from the sushi bar wafted us throughout our evening, but in a good way. MENU: Extensive sushi selection, handful of tiny-portioned "dinners", kid's menu. Full bar menu including sake and numerous spirits. BEVERAGE: Makai - $34.00 This is by far the most expensive single cocktail I've had! Citrusy, a bit tart but very smooth and was served in a fancy glass that reminded me of Superman's Fortress of Solitude. The toppings of furikake (Japanese-style seaweed) and ogo (Hawaiian-style seaweed) were so slight, they were more of a visual effect than anything. Tropics In Bloom - $24.00 A better value than the Makai, I also liked its fizziness and berry flavor more than the former. FOOD: Togarashi Macadamia Nuts & Wasabi Peas These were included with our drinks. I don't like wasabi so I didn't have the peas but the mac nuts were good, similar to a honey roasted flavor & stickiness with a bit of heat. King Salmon - $36.00 & Marinated Maitake Mushroom - $19.00 These two items are part of their Hot Rock Menu, meaning you're cooking it yourself on a 900-degree stone that's brought to the table. The salmon consisted of just four semi-thick slices which wore out the hot stone after cooking on both sides. Not worth the price due to its petite portion. Another hot stone was brought out for the maikate grilling. The half-bunch of mushrooms had a tasty marinade to them and went well with the salmon. Maui Nui Venison Sliders - $26.00 (2 pcs.) Served warm on pillowy buns, the patty was moist & savory, with a slight tang and sweetness from the grilled onions. My spouse and friend also enjoyed the Rainbow, Alii and Lobster Rolls. They came served on a warm marble slab which I found odd as you'd think it'd be cold. DESSERT: Sichuan Pepper And Clove Flourless Chocolate Torte - $16.00 Velvety smooth with complimenting flavors of chocolate & orange. SERVICE: No host stand was seen so I'm assuming it's seat yourself. Chad, the bartender, was awesome. Very friendly, engaging and professional. TIP: Kama'aina discount available. OVERALL: Gorgeous views, fun vibe, over-priced.

I visited Pilani three times over my past two stays at the Fairmont Kea Lani. The fish quality was excellent. I enjoyed the tuna, kanpachi sashimi and sushi rolls very much. Even better with a bottle of champagne with the amazing ocean view! Mary was exceptional. She remembered our entire conversation from my last visit two months ago including the purpose of my visit and our preference on champagne. I haven’t met a server as professional and genuine for a long time. I’m happy to recommend Pilina with their great quality food, beautiful architectural design and exceptional service!
