We had an absolutely exceptional stay at this hotel, nestled in the heart of the rice fields. The setting is simply idyllic — peaceful, lush, and truly rejuvenating. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and always smiling. We had the chance to take a guided walk through the rice fields, which was both enriching and unforgettable — a true immersion into Balinese culture. The facilities were outstanding, the massage deeply relaxing, and the food… incredible. Every dish was refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This was the very first stop of our trip to Bali, and it gave us the perfect introduction to the island’s authenticity and cultural richness. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. We couldn’t recommend this place more — it was an unforgettable experience.

There was absolutely nothing to do in the area, and the place was very far from any city or attraction. The opportunities provided by the resort were not easily accessible due to how far of a drive it is to any attraction. This place would be great if you are just looking to hang on the resort, but note that their food was not very good either. If you are comfortable with sub-par and overpriced food to sacrifice for the beautiful view this place is for you. We were the only people staying there at the time which gave the place an eerie feeling. It was weird to us that no one was at the resort as we were staying during the busy season. Most other hotels were completely booked. Also, they use an iPad system to order food and no one answered our orders or requests. Luckily I caught one of the staff walking outside after an hour of waiting, only to find out they did not see our order. They were pleasant enough to refund us for our cancelled nights stay as we ended up leaving two nights early. For this, I have updated my review to two stars. In response to their reply, I will still give you two stars because the food was not acceptable for the price and your location is too far from any other source to go get food. We are not picky eaters, and love all types of food (especially many of the locally sourced meals we had at other locations). It also seems as though I am far from the only one with these complaints so I feel justified in my review. I wish you the best of luck in your development.

This place is absolutely incredible. We just spent a week here for our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The entire staff is so kind, gracious and willing to go above and beyond what is expected. The villa was absolutely perfect. The private pool overlooks the rice fields, it is incredibly peaceful and private. The food is so delicious at the restaurant, everything we had was terrific. There wasnt one item on the menu that we didn't like. The aesthetic of the resort is so peaceful and calm you cant help but be relaxed the entire time you're there. We did a lot of activities offered by the resort including two day trips, a cooking class, renting a motorbike to explore the local area, multiple massages, and a yoga class. They all exceeded expectations. The cooking and yoga classes were just my husband, myself and the instructors. It was amazing having the one on one instruction and intimacy, that you cant get in the more tourist areas. If you are considering staying here please dont hesitate, you will not be disappointed by anything. If you want an authentic Balinese experience, you will get it here. We will definitely be back to Alami!

This place has been a lot more than we hoped for. The food and service are amazing. The place itself is quite far from everything but a great spot for weddings, family gatherings or simply some quiet time. The view over the rice fields is just gorgeous and the rooms a in a very good state, offering villas for 4, 6, 8 and even 12 people. The BBQ they offer here for 450k per person is very nicely prepared and worth the money you pay. If I had to change anything it might be the internet speed and the occasional insect crawling around, but the staff will help you with that too ^^ They offer bikes and lots of activities if you are inclined to do something outside your villa. Did I mention that this is also a drone friendly place? Highly recommended

We had a lovely breakfast at KYND Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I ordered the Porridge Bowl, which was absolutely delicious—comforting, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also tried the Big Breakkie with scrambled tofu, and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The hot chocolate was a vibe on its own—rich, smooth, and perfectly warming. The cafe itself has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a wholesome meal. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend visiting KYND Cafe if you’re in or around Seminyak!

This place is incredibly Instagrammable and stylish, perfect for those looking for a fancy vibe. Despite its chic setting, the food was surprisingly delicious, making it a treat for the taste buds. Very instragramable breakfast experience with great ambiance. Visited with family including two kids, vegan is not usually my thing but the food was good. I really liked their smoothy bawls and milkshakes. The full English breakfast was alright including the pancakes. Overall a decent enough place for one of your breakfasts in Seminyak. Recommended. The place can be busy and most people spend a lot of time taking pictures and videos of their food than eating it.

We visited Kynd a couple of times on our trip and both times the food did not disappoint - both food and drinks were delicious. The staff are very welcoming and service was great. I purchased the Kynd Cookbook so I can make my own pink pancakes when we get home. Highly recommend!

I knew it would be good but aaaah it was amazing. My berry bowl was so delicious & so pretty to look at. The whole place has such a lovely vibe & I’m obsessed with the colour palette. It’s really hot outside but a seat was made available inside & they let us know we could move. Man that air con was refreshing!! Will definitely be coming back (hopefully several times) before we go home!

The yummiest vegan food in Seminyak. Must try the Zinger Burger it was just delish with thin and crispy fries that come with it. The falafel shawarma was also good. Espresso martini was well made and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The staff was very friendly and warm. Would highly recommend this place to all vegans and vegetarians.

Amazing food, first time at a vegan place Breakfast burritos are impeccable, took some time to be ready but overall super super tasty. Acai bowl was so refreshing. Strawberry matcha was good as well as the watermelon tropical drink. A bit diluted but overall good.

Huge disappointment, especially for the price. Pasta was extremely salty with not much other flavours. The pasta itself is great with good texture, but the sauces and cooking style make it difficult to finish a plate. Ordered a salad to try and offset it, but the salad was equally bad, being absolutely drowned in balsamic vinegar. The only redeeming dish was the salmon carpaccio.

Come here if you want to get food poisoning and experience bali belly! 100% UNSAFE FOOD! DO NOT VISIT‼️‼️ I’ve ordered the beef carpaccio and tiramisu for myself, and had the worst puking and diarrhoea ever in my life. It is a truly disappointment where I’ve paid 400-ish thousands meal but they can’t even ensure the food is edible. I was vomiting every other hour right after that meal , and this has caused troubles to the hotel which is responsible for clearing the mess. This has ruined my Bali trip and the clothes I was wearing.

Really really good and authentic pasta. Everything was delicious, from the foccacia to the pasta sauce, it was all beautiful. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good tasting homemade pasta. I especially recommend the beef ragu with bone marrow sauce... I literally mopped up the bowl with my bread... magnificent!

If I could give more stars I would! This was by far hands down my favorite meal of the whole trip. I am a massive pasta lover and this didn't disappoint!! (Trust me when I say we tried a lot of Italian on our trip.) It tasted just like a home cooked meal with love added. Lots of choice and having the pasta made fresh in front of you wow!! Next level!! Crepes topped off what was a 10 out of 10 meal. Just disappointed we found it on the last day.

Really enjoyed my time at Shotgun Social Bali! 🍻🌿 The place has such a nice, laid-back atmosphere — perfect for relaxing with friends and family. They have a great live band that adds so much energy to the evening, and it’s wonderful to see they’ve thoughtfully included a kids’ corner so little ones can have fun too. What makes it even better is that the restaurant is pet friendly, so you don’t have to leave your furry friends at home. Overall, highly recommended as a family-friendly spot to unwind, enjoy good music, and spend quality time together. 🐶🎶👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Had high hopes here. Great staff, all friendly and professional. My burgers were excellent, great taste and quality. Cooked properly and seasoned. Roast potatoes delicious. My wife's King Oyster Mushrooms were not great. The sheer amount of oil all over the plate, the mushrooms and the vegetables was off-putting. Really sickly. A shame. I mentioned it to the staff, but nothing.. I found the location way too noisy, lots of people and children milling, or running. Parents not supervising. Prices fair and reasonable. I won't be returning, sadly... Soul on the Beach for us ..🤷‍♂️

Had such a fun night at Shotgun Social Bali for their Halloween event! 🎃 The whole place was beautifully decorated, glowing pumpkins, red lights, and a cozy outdoor vibe. What I really love is how family friendly this place is! there’s a big playground for kids, and it feels super relaxed even when it’s busy. The food was great, drinks were nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the night. Definitely one of the best spots in Sanur for families or groups to hang out! 🤍🤍 Can’t wait to come back, especially when they do more themed events like this 👀✨

Chanced it upon it on a web while looking for good places to eat at Sanur. It opens early and closes at night 11 pm. A place for food from day to night The surrounding was lush and green. Big outdoor space. With a playground for kids. They have taco Tuesday . With special prices for tacos.

Very nice place, a lot of greens in the middle of the city. Food is okay. Very calming and chill to read books, have a deep conversation (until someone smokes near you 😷).

At night, mosquitoes are a problem here. The riverside location have a pleasant water sounds. The garden is cool and green with a stream running through it, so perfect for you to take photos. It's romantic when I saw many couples have candlelight dinners here. It feels just like a cafe in a forest with quite ambience. But if cigarette smoke bothers you, avoid this place. Since it's outdoors with no air conditioning, most people smoke. The large fans only spread the smoke around more.

A cozy place that blends with nature, just a little disappointed at the end when the payment cashier double input on our order, even though I confirmed before printing that our table have ordered 2 smoothies and the cashier said yes as a sign of understanding.

Nice and calming restaurant! Can't believe there's a restaurant as good as this one.. I mean, it's not the one like five stars restaurant but good food good price good vibes.. the food is surprisingly awesome, it's delicate and simple, ain't complex at all.. this is a place you can hangout and talk for some time.. SN : for Honey Orange Chicken, dangg, the chicken still crispy even after saucing it makes every bite feel the crunchiness and crispiness, the chicken still tender, the sauce isn't overwhelmed.. and the buttery fried rice, that's something I can say it's good because of the butter feels sweet and savory, the rice wasn't wet or soggy, and that's a good thing!

Always crowded in this cafe, so I decided to give a try. No aircond but with multiple fans. Menu has a lot of variety. Breakfast costs around 60K. The coffee is nice and I liked the coconut biscuits - brand Roma. Also tried the beef burger, taste okay but abit dry. Overall experience is good.

A Breakfast Paradise at Doppio Cafe Pink! Absolutely stunning spot with the most delicious breakfast I’ve had in Bali! The atmosphere is vibrant and full of charm, and every detail – from the colorful smoothie bowls to the beautifully plated banana waffles – feels like a work of art. The pink latte was not only gorgeous but super tasty too. You can feel the love in every dish. Highly recommended for a perfect start to your day!

Smashed Avocado and Detox Juice as my breakfast menu was great both in term of taste and appearance. Everything was fresh Avocado, Vegetables, Eggs and Saordough and so with my Detox Juice. This became one of my fave places to go for coffee and I wasn't the only ony one. As I soon noticed a few other faces there on the regular as well. The atmosphere and vibe is chill, watching street traffic go by. Pat some dogs chilling here with their owners. I will definitely be back when I'm around. I will miss it 😢 💔

I can say… They don’t have any failed dish. All off their foods and drinks are amazing. My favorites are the burger, big breakfast set, and their smoothies. Just that the space is a bit tight and next to the road. The price that you pay here is super worth it of what you get (p.s. they don’t charge you extra for taxes) I definitely recommend this place! 🫶

Had a lovely time at Good Soil Cafe! The atmosphere is super cozy with lots of greenery and wooden touches — perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The breakfast croissant sandwich was delicious, and the service was friendly and quick. I loved that they had a peaceful outdoor area away from the Seminyak crowds. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for brunch or a chill afternoon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food, good vibes, and a quiet escape!

Bali Palms is a stunning, peaceful retreat surrounded by jungle and nature. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I was greeted with a delicious welcome drink and shown to a gorgeous room. My private yoga sessions with a Balinese instructor were some of the best I’ve ever had, both challenging and calming. The grounds and restaurant are beautiful, especially at sunset, and the melukat cleansing ceremony was a unique, meaningful experience. Perfect for anyone seeking quiet, authenticity, and deep relaxation.

This resort exceeded mine and my partners expectations again and again. The location was breathtaking, echoing natural sounds of rainforest waterfalls and insects. The evenings and mornings bring sounds of roosters, birds and the gecko. The manager and staff made every moment warm and welcoming. I have been honoured to be part of the Bali Women retreat in August and as a facilitator, I would recommend Bali palms with my eyes closed. The rooms are clean and privacy is assured. The kitchen has provided amazing meals with organic products, harvested from the property. There is even a waterfall and a yoga deck out looking the forest. This is not the usual Bali retreat this is a real Bali experience. You can book your personalised trekking, massage and Balinese activities. Thank you Bali Palms family for the amazing experience.

I had one of the most beautiful experience in my life in this resort! I partecipate to a retreat and the location is just perfect, in the nature, quiet, you can hear the sound of the nature and recharge from you daily routine. The rooms are little bungalow with all you need and super clean. The staff is amazing, they take care about every details, they are friendly and always ready to help. I suggest the trekking into the rice fields and waterfall, it was a wonderful activity! I will definitely come back!

We spent the last three days of our one-month trip at Bali Palms for a spiritual retreat — and what a magical way to end our journey. Bali Palms is an absolutely magical place to disconnect and truly rest. Surrounded by lush jungle and rice terraces, it offers complete peace, with spacious grounds full of greenery, beautifully maintained and cared for. They even have their own waterfall – having a massage right beside it was an unforgettable experience. The villas are lovely, and I slept so well, waking up to birdsong each morning. The food was simply delicious. Both yoga teachers – a husband and wife – are true professionals, and I quickly got used to practicing yoga both in the morning and evening. A very special thanks goes to the Balinese healer with whom I had a Melukat ceremony. He is a true professional, doing his work wholeheartedly. From deep therapeutic work to powerful chiropractic help and Balinese spiritual practice, it was an extraordinary experience that I will cherish. The surroundings are stunning, with villages and rice terraces nearby – I only wish I had more time to explore them. The staff are wonderful, warm, spiritual people, and I really appreciated that they employ locals. Even my driver, from a nearby village, proudly showed me his own rice field. The complimentary transfer both ways was another thoughtful touch. I also booked a palm reader and she was excellent. Overall, this place exceeded all my expectations. It’s a rare gem, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a meaningful and rejuvenating experience.

Awsome food and the concept of this place is awsome. Their lasagna and the chicken avocado sallad was superb! Really cool to go Into the garage and watch them build bikes and make surfboards.

At this particular location do not expect from any of the staff (5 of them on duty at 11am on 03.03)… a simple hello, good morning , smile, how may I help you… we spent nearly 10 mins in the shop and ghosted all the way thru. Not spending my money there !!!!

I’ve stayed at Alami Luxury Villa twice now and had a great experience both times. The villas are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. On my first stay, I booked the two-bedroom villa, and the second time I stayed in the three-bedroom one—both came with a decent-sized private pool that was perfect for relaxing. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom, which adds a nice touch of comfort and privacy. The staff are friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly during both visits. Overall, Alami Luxury Villa is a great place to unwind with a peaceful atmosphere and good service. I’d definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here twice now. The villas are nice and clean. The staff are super friendly. The location is great. The only downside is they don’t provide a shuttle service like other villas in the area which made it a little difficult for my 80 year old parents to walk in the heat to restaurants and shops.

Things, Need to improve is , another staff lady when we check in, show our room without take out her shoes, walking inside our villa and room with her shoes😌. Stayed in the house for a few nights. Beautiful setting and a friendly chap came to make us breakfast every morning. It's a shame about the rude resident living in the first hut who I believe to be part of the family. He offers surf lessons and surf board rentals. Hidden Paradise! We have been so lucky to find that place (for little money). The owners offer different tree houses and one cottage with 2 bedrooms, which we have chosen for us. Each of the bedrooms has a private bathroom. There is one kitchen that is shared. You get laundry service and can also rent scooters. The rooms are basic but nicely decorated. You see that the owners put much love into it. They have been so helpful and kind. They have little shop at the end of the street where you can buy food, beer etc. We really enjoyed our stay. Stunning homestay in the middle of a patch of jungle and rice paddies, perfect if you need to chill away from the hordes of mediocre beer guzzling tourists. At walking distance from Balian Beach, one of the best lefts in Bali. Amenities include Jason the House Gekko (the chap is the most efficient pest removalist ever), heaps of butterflies, surf and motorbike rental. Most importantly, the owner Ketut manages to be always there without ever being intrusive -a man of countless skills- establishing a beautiful atmosphere of friendship that never feels fake, different from other "feel good vibe" places where, scratching the hippy, one finds a cash register.

Real balinese homestay, ketut has built an experiential paradise at alam. Prices are extreamly affordable, there is a range of accomadation for those wanting modern luxuries rather than truely balinese experience.

I am belatedly reviewing the Barkery after I went to the opening of their first shop, I would say around 2019/20 I used to follow the instagram account which was called Teddy, Buddy and Lulu and my daughters and I used to really love that page- we were so delighted that the shop was opening. We had recently got a toy poodle puppy and we’re just loving the whole experience of it all We didn’t live near the shop so we motorbiked down with a very young dog and very excited 10 year and 13 year old girls. It took us over an hour to find the place. It was quite a trek. We wanted to be supportive of the new venture- it was for us really a day out. Once we arrived the owner came out and took one look at our dog and said “Did you know you could clean them?” I was honestly quite taken aback but I decided to be polite and listen to the owners grooming routine advice. However it was extremely rude and arrogant to say the least There were many of the dog cakes and other snacks available. My excited young daughters and I gave them to our young toy poodle. She didn’t like any of them. She sniffed them and took a lick of one cake and then just left them. Despite this, to be supportive of the new venture I bought several dog snacks. They were extremely expensive, to be honest completely overpriced. We went home very disappointed. Over the next few days we kept trying to give what we bought to our dog. She just turned her nose up and she’s really not a fussy eater. Overall it was an absolutely terrible experience, every now and again this wasted day pops into my head and this time I finally decided to write a review. DONT go here. Seriously go somewhere else. Somewhere with food that dogs actually like, that’s not a rip off and with owners that aren’t blunt and tactless. You and your furry pawed friends will thank me later after you have avoided the disaster that is the Barkery.

Went there on their monthly dog adoption day, loved that they also do dogs-related charity while running a business. You can tell their products are very carefully and locally sourced, price is very reasonable and everything looks so tempting. I loved their dogs friendly gelato, pistachio and beets strawberry flavours were even better than many normal gelato places for humans. All in all a hearty dog shop, and the owners dog Teddy is super friendly too, would highly recommend this place.

The idea of the place is great. Its a very cute and cosy hut by the beach and it does have a very nice view. However the room could be better managed. Because there is a mangrove forest next to this place and a river (which is full of trash), there are an insane amount of bugs. They fly around the lights in the room right above the bed and when you spray them to kill it, they end up on the bed. I think the staff could have done this for the guest before hand so we don't have to do the cleaning. The bathroom area also has poor drainage and so when it rains it pools in there and when you shower or use the toilet, you're dipping your feet in water. It takes hours for the water to completely drain. The owner needs to fix this. The location is also awful. If you plan to get out of here, you cannot use gojek or grab. You will be trapped unless you have your own car. This also means you cannot order food. I had to cancel an appointment that I really wanted to go to because of this. The only nearby restaurant is a shack by the beach as well as a restaurant by the beach called Lily by the Sea. You have to call local cars which costs even more through the manager Mr.Putu. The service was great however. The staff was courteous and tries their best to help with requests. However sometimes the information provided isn't accurate. The wifi is surprisingly the fastest I got in Bali among other places and I was at least able to entertain myself through that. I stayed here for 2 nights and would say this is the least pleasant experience in my 12 days in Bali. There are a lot of inconveniences. I spent 236 USD here for the 2 nights and I don't think it is worth the cost. Would have been okay if it is cheaper. Don't really recommend unless you come very prepared or if the owner takes necessary action to make things better.
