Tanah lot temple is located in the sea side, one of the famous sea temples in Bali. Tanah Lot translates to "Land in the sea". The temple is built on a rock formation off the cost making it appear to float on the sea during high tide. It is famous for the stunning sunset views. Must-visit when you’re in Bali! I went here around sunset, and it was absolutely breathtaking. What I really love about this place is that it’s not just about the view. It’s a complete experience. There are plenty of little shops selling local souvenirs and crafts, a variety of restaurants and cafés where you can grab a meal or a fresh coconut while enjoying the ocean breeze, and sometimes you can even catch traditional Balinese dance performances near the temple area. The energy and atmosphere here feel both peaceful and lively at the same time. It can get a bit crowded during sunset, but it’s worth it. Just take your time, find a good spot, and enjoy the moment. If you’re planning a trip to Bali, don’t skip Tanah Lot. You’ll leave with amazing photos and even better memories.

The church itself is beautiful. It's worth a visit. We were there during low tide, so we could get quite close to the church and even went to a part of it. To go up, the local priests must first bless you, and then they'll let you onto the stairs. I don't think the church itself is open to tourists. It wasn't crowded, which was also a plus.

Ahh, what a place Ulun Danu Temple is! 🌸 I feel a lot of people miss this spot since it’s about an hour’s ride from Ubud central and not overly hyped on Instagram. But believe me, it’s an absolute must-visit when in Bali. The drive itself is beautiful, and once you reach, the entire temple complex and grounds are just stunning. Everything feels serene and picture-perfect. Easy logistics – paid parking & smooth ticketing. Weather drama – it changes every few minutes! One moment it was bright and sunny, and the next it turned misty, foggy, and drizzly. Photography heaven – Balinese gates, lush landscapes, and the iconic temple floating on the lake make for unreal backdrops. There are also nice, reasonably priced restaurants inside the premises, and the washrooms are clean and well-maintained (paid). You can even rent Balinese outfits for a photoshoot — sadly I missed this due to the rain. I loved every bit of it. Tip: Go prepared for sudden weather shifts and give yourself enough time to just soak in the beauty. A must-visit, one of Bali’s gems.

One minor downside was the limited shade in some areas, so it’s best to visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the heat. Overall, Ulun Danu Beratan is a must-visit destination in Bali, offering both cultural insight and stunning scenery. I would definitely recommend it to anyone exploring Bali's spiritual sites!

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple – A Serene and Picturesque Experience! Visited Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and it was an incredible experience! The temple is very ancient and showcases beautiful and impressive architecture. It’s one of the best places to relax both your mind and body. The temple is located right on the edge of Lake Beratan, surrounded by lots of blooming lotus flowers, which add to its charm. On the other side, mountains create a stunning backdrop, making the scenery absolutely breathtaking. There are also many other photogenic spots nearby with colorful flowers that are perfect for capturing memories. For families, there’s a small park where kids can enjoy themselves. A peaceful and scenic place that I highly recommend if you want to unwind and connect with nature!

This was one of most spectacular temple as well as picnic spot in Bali. I happened to visit this spot on a Monday 28th October 2025. One must be physically present to enjoy this sceneric place and no words are enough to describe it. For influences, INSTA activist this place is a must visit. The second largest lake of Bali is here with boating facility. The added attraction is availability of traditional wedding costume of Indonesian on hire with ideal scenic spots for capturing picture of your choice. Definitely many Europeans Australian couples are interested in this attire. Easily one would spend about 3 hours here. Clean Toilet facility is available on payment of IDR 2000. Entry fee for this spot is about 75000 IDR. It's definitely a place to visit in Bali. Luwak coffee available. You can take pictures carrying Luwak or tiny mules.

Everything they have told you about this temple is true. Totally make it a point to visit this temple when you are in Bali. Its so beautiful, it looks out of the world. They tell you to reach here before sunrise, do that. We reached in the evening and the only thing we thought was 'how much more beautiful it would have looked in the morning when the sun rays hit the temple." They have made a lot of photo points in the garden near the temple but they are nothing. The temple is the real beauty. There are restaurants and souvenir shops in the restaurant compound as well. They also have a setup where you can dress up in traditional Balinese clothes and get pictures clicked for a fees. when we reached the shops were closed but you should definitely try.

Great butterfly park, very clean with a large area for food and drinks. They had an amazing selection of plants, animals and of course butterflies/moths and it is clear everything is well cared for. There is a well stocked gift store as well with various souvenirs including sealed frames containing some of the preserved butterflies. I would highly recommend this for a visit.

For 100k this is the coolest place. Got to hang out with so many butterflies and atlas moths. Got to hold a rhino beetle, Alta’s moths and butterflies and also leaf bugs! It is a little older and getting a little bit run down but it doesn’t take away from the beautiful experience. The staff were so so lovely and kind. If you love bugs - you have to visit!

This is a family-friendly and kid-friendly place to see butterflies, moths, beetles, bugs, scorpions, and other insects. The area is not very huge, making it easy to monitor the kids, and a visit here doesn’t take too long. During our visit, we had a guide who provided information about the butterflies and other insects. She was very nice, friendly, and eager to answer our questions. We also had the chance to see the Barong butterflies (which are actually moths) and even hold them and put them on our hands or shirts with the help of the staff. Additionally, we saw cocoons hanging in the breeding room, which was fascinating. This place features a butterfly and insect museum, a semi-outdoor garden where butterflies freely fly around, and a cave showcasing other insects. However, many of the transparent cages inside the cave were empty. The place also includes a souvenir shop, parking lot, and some seats at the entrance. Overall, it is a nice park, but some areas were still under construction, leaving certain sections empty. I believe it has the potential to be even better in the future.

Found this place browsing google maps. 100k entry. Got to see some giant moths and butterflies. The staff were really nice and one helped me capture a video of the blue buttery since they were always flying.

A lovely place, well maintained. The wildlife is well cared for, and there is a demonstration inside the hut where you can have butterflies placed on you. Price is a bit steep as it very small but if it's being used to maintain the place, then it's fine. My daughter enjoyed learning about the butterflies.

A great little experience. Educational and fun! You can even hold giant moths, butterflies, and stick insects. So many beautiful butterflies amongst the flowering gardens. A very peaceful and interesting place. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Adult ticket price is 100,000 rupiah.

Good price to see the butterflies and use the small water park with slides. The kids enjoyed it.

Entrance was free, there was a lady who was very attentive to us, we walked around all the time. The monkeys liked it very much when they saw the bananas. We walked around and wanted to take pictures of the bats at the back, but it was paid, and then we did some shopping.

The place is full of monkeys, but they are not aggressive. The tour guide is friendly and skilled at managing the monkeys, ensuring they don’t disturb visitors, making us feel safe throughout our visit. However, toward the end, we discovered that the tour guide was also the shopkeeper. She almost begged us to purchase items at significantly inflated prices. I would recommend buying only if you're familiar with the original pricing.

Full of monkeys and they are not aggressive. The tour guide is nice and she can handle the monkeys so that they won't disturb the visitors. We feel safe visiting there.

Perhaps this place was more catered for tourists in the past. The day we visited, there was some kind of festival which was interesting to observe. We were approached by someone who we thought was an official temple guide who took us around the grounds and feed some monkeys, but in hindsight I didn't learn much about the temple from her. In the end she turned out to be a shop keeper from the delipidated shopping area of the temple grounds, borderline begging us to buy something. For a better monkey feeding experience, I'd rather visit Monkey Forest. There are also better looking temples with more historical interest around Bali too. Alas Kedaton was definitely not my favourite stop on our day trip, perhaps it's more a place for locals.

Super cool hidden gem, we were almost the only people there. Hundreds of monkeys, not aggressive like in the touristic places. You walk with a local guide through some shady paths and small temple structures in the forest and can feed the monkeys peanuts. At the end there are a few tame bats you can hold. Prices: Ticket 30.000 Peanuts 5.000 Guide: tips Holding the bat and giving it juice: 20.000 Professional printed picture with bat: 70.000 Can be hard to get a taxi afterwards. Ideally talk to a driver that you can call when you're done so they come pick you up. There are toilets at the site, and you can probably store luggage at the local guide's shop, but when we were there, there was no food for sale.

There exist better forests to see monkeys. It is very small (hardly a forest at all) with very few monkeys, and the guide at the end takes you to a store and tries to sell you things. You do not observe monkeys inside the forest which is their natural home. No climbing and no swimming can be seen there.

Hardly any tourists due to another competing one on the other side of Bali. This makes this place fantastic to get yo close with friendly monkeys who are not aggressive at all because they haven't been spoilt by so many people. Guide takes you around for a low fee helps get you great photos with the monkeys. You really feel the forrest here with the monkeys.

Very beautiful and well preserved rice terraces. It’s excellent that the local community are making efforts to preserve this space and the rice paddies. I’d recommend going in the morning as it gets more touristy in around noon onwards, also if you go in the morning you can beat the sun. There is not much shade when you are out walking on the terraces. We walked around for a few hours and overall just had a nice time in nature.

Absolutely beautiful and incredibly extensive. Well-maintained pathways make it easy to get around. Rice terraces are perfectly manicured and photo-worthy. One price to get into the whole area, so no hassles like you would get at Tegallalang. Feels like less tourists, partly because it is further from town and not as popular on Instagram, though possibly even more beautiful. Also the area is so vast that you never feel like you’re surrounded by tourists. A must-see in Bali!

My second time back at Jatiluwih to indulge in the stunning rice terraces — and it’s just as breathtaking as I remembered. It truly deserves its UNESCO Heritage title! 🌾 The view from the top is already magnificent, so no need to walk too far down to enjoy the beauty. Loved the peaceful atmosphere with gamelan music playing in the background and a few cute puppies running around — such a perfect touch to the whole experience. 🐶💚

This is one of my favorite spots in bali. It was absolutely stunning to be able to walk through the rice terraces and admire the nature. I only had about 2 hours and went off of the path for a bit but I could spend an entire day here. This spot is supposedly guarded by the local transportation folks so make sure you have a ride lined up to pick you up. I wouldnt rely on getting a local in a gojek to pick you up. Also take pictures of the map before you enter just in case you get lost.

Definitely worth visiting especially if you want a less busy rice terrace that isn't covered in Instagram photo ops. This is beautiful and a Unesco heritage site. We e-biked here and it was just stunning. The main area has people looking on but there are lots of spots where it will be just you.

Its a lovely place. Green rice fields wherever the eyes go. You can rent a bike to go around or you can just walk. They have a short as well as long route. It was raining so we took the short one.They have map at places so you dont get lost. People also have small shops selling home made things to eat while you walk and enjoy the rice fields.

It was definitely one of the best rice terraces in Bali. We passed next to Sidemen and visited Tegallalang Rice Terrace, but Jatiluwih was my favorite for sure! It has multiple hiking trails so you can choose which fits your time and condition the best!

Absolutely original, beautiful and very serene place. It is a little bit far out in the hilly countryside but that makes it isolated from the overwhelming tourism other than visits from local village worshippers and some native monkeys residents.

This is one of the most sacred temples in Bali. It is located at the foot of Mount Batukaru and due to the higher altitude it is very humid up here and there's a lot of green moss covering the structures. Built in the 11th century, this temple is dedicated to the ancestors of Tabanan. You won't see too many tourists here thanks to its remoteness. This is a temple you could visit when you're on the way to Jatiluwih rice fields.

A quiet, serene temple on the mountain. Ppl come and pray inside. Entry fee is 40,000 rupiah for adult and 20,000 rupiah for children. Good to visit but this place is a bit far, may need an extra couple hours for traveling.

I had very pleasant experience. It is small exebittion very good guided by passionate staff. Now I get much clearer picture of traditional crop growing and rice terraces has whole new meaning for me. It took me about 30 minutes, and price of 15000idr is fair. I found this gem by chance while waiting for a bus to Java.

First time visiting here! Great experience to learn about Subak and how the traditional irrigation system be done. Love seeing the traditional tools as well.

Welcomed by ladies in the uniform and was asked to pay 10K per pax (local tourist). Then she escorted us to the nearby building functioned as a museum and started explaining things in details manners. How to start plant the rice, what tool the ancient farmer used to use, how many days it needs to be done etc etc. Last, she showed us a model of old Balinese village. All of this took about an hour. No modern visual, no written story, just listen to the details story from the lady herself (that is unfortunately, a bit plain and boring) After finished with the guided tour, we walked ourselves to the surrounding of the museum only to find that there is a real old traditional Balinese village standing there but it was locked 🤦‍♀️ Why showing the model/miniature when you actually have the real ones next to you? This place is a bit dissappointing, could have been much better than just tell the story with flat tone and boring look to the visitors

It's all about Bali's agriculture. Start from the Balinese farmer's traditional tools, equipment, more about irrigation system called 'subak', and many more related to that. Only the building need to be improved and probably need a better maintenance. But it's highly recomended to be visited with young kids and adults.

Spent 4 days hiking and birding the Gardens and Mt Tapak. A wonderful quiet place to walk and bird, both on the little-traveled roads and on the trails (some of which are quite overgrown). The best birding seemed to be in the southwest part of the BG near Panca Yadnya. From there to Pura Teratai Bang it is mostly native rainforest with small trails going off in various directions. Much of the rest of the Garden is covered in monoculture plantation with little undergrowth or wide lawns. Pretty, but not much wildlife. I also hiked the trail north of the Garden from the Lake View, as it showed as "forested area," but aside from maybe the first 500 yards it was overgrown plantation and pretty dull. The trail up to Mt Tapak from the BG goes through great forest but is very steep -- avoid on or after wet days. But even going up it a few hundred yards gets you into nice rainforest. Also try go midweek for less noise and traffic. Enjoy!

Beautiful park with lots of lovely scenery, highly recommend visiting. You can hire a bike, e-scooter or golf buggy to explore the massive park. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy a picnic. It was nice a cool high up In the mountain, which was a lovely break from the humidity and heat.

One of the best and natural botanical gardens in Indonesia. The ticket is quite cheap. We paid about 80k for 2 adults and 1 car. The view is stunning. Suitable for short healing and gathering with family or friends. Besides, they have the site to see the lake from above which gives the vibe of Switzerland when the sun shines. Will definitely come again

We visited the Bali Botanic Garden (Eka Karya) in Bedugul, a peaceful nature park surrounded by mountains and colorful flowers 🌸🌿 On the way there, we saw some monkeys sitting by the roadside — a common sight in Bedugul 🐒 Inside the garden, you can enjoy a speed boat ride on Lake Beratan — 15 minutes for 5 people, IDR 200,000 🚤 There are many beautiful photo spots like the Ulun Danu Beratan arch, swan statues, mini houses, and flower gardens 🌺 🎟️ Entrance fee: IDR 20,000 (weekday) / IDR 30,000 (weekend)

Used to be a 5 stars for me. I have visited this park many times. I love exploring the nature, the secluded temple, the nursery, grass fields, trees, moss path, etc. The weather is pleasant as it is located on higher ground. There are less or no crowds inside. The previous procedure was that cars were allowed to go in and we paid tickets for the humans and the car. July 2025 visit drops 4 stars for me:: 1. We came here during weekdays. During weekdays cars are not allowed inside the park, while it's allowed on the weekend. I would say the other way around should be implemented, if you want to implement this at all. There should be a significant less crowd on weekday. 2. So, on top of paying for ticket (which is also more expensive), you have to rent transport. Yes, you can go in by foot, but if you have visited this park before, walking wouldn't get you far because this place is huge. If you are fit and want to exercise, it's perfect, I think it would be good, no sarcasm. However, if you want to have a relaxing day, physically less able to, bring young kids, elderly, this is not an option, unless you just hang around nearby. You have to have transport, this brings me to point number 3. 3. You can rent bicycle/electric bike (30-75k/hour depending on types), or bus (25k pp one route) or golf car (250k max 4 people per hour). See pictures. So, if you have physical limitation, you can only go with golf car or bus. The bus only serves one route which you can choose. This means one destination and back, that's all. If you know this place, this is utterly ridiculous and overpriced. There are many spots to visit but there is no option to drop by or do multi-route. You want to visit another spot? Go back to the start and buy another bus ticket. Since we brought elderly and guest and wanted to visit multiple place, we had no choice but to rent a golf car which is ridiculously expensive as well because one hour barely covers anything here. The safety standard was also horrible, we got the one without handle at the rear which we only realized after we saw the others. The terrain is up and down, one can easily fall down on slope. We ended up only visit two spots that were next to each other and we had to rush it. We had to grab the side bars like monkeys. No joke, I don't think this is safe when the terrain is up. I was very worried for my mom's safety since we were sitting on the back. 4. I'm all for conservation and dedication to the park, but with all the cost that make this place very expensive now in proportion to the standard, there is barely any facilities or improvement. There are many holes on the road, lack of restroom facilities inside. The is NO emergency procedure which should be much more important now since we barely see anyone inside because of the inaccessibility. There is no map and we couldn't find some spots even though we are regular. We used to take our time to visit them, now by getting lost once or twice, the time was up. If they want to make this place more natural, less cars (wasn't a problem previously because the place is huge), there should be shuttle that go around the spots and they shouldn't charge by route, but it should be unlimited because that would be the only way for guests to visit all the spots they want. I think this would make it less natural compared to few cars in between here and there. So everything doesn't make sense to me for now. Will I come again? No. It has become just a money grabbing place, which is a pity because I have loved this place. If you bring family with different level of fitness, just go somewhere else. Yes, there are nice spots, probably walkable for all, but it's not worth the ticket. If you want to have a natural walk, that is probably the only thing reasonable and I can imagine it would be fun, but be mindful of the lack of facilities as mentioned. If you want to visit multiple spots and enjoy them in leisure like the logical purpose of visiting a botanical garden, forget it.

We visited on the weekend. The ticket was IDR 51k for two adults, plus a parking fee of IDR 10k for our motorcycle. We absolutely love this place because we enjoy walking! It’s huge, and since we arrived a bit late, we couldn’t explore much. We just did a small loop and visited the cactus glass house, which was so beautiful. One thing I wish they’d regulate is loud music. People come here for nature and the sound of birds chirping—not to hear blasting tunes, lol. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here!🌿🌿🌿

If you want escape Canggu to see beautiful beach, this one is 10/10. It’s not very suitable for swimming - it’s more for surfers, but it was amazing. Definitely worth travel for it.

Great waves for surfing & very peaceful. Yet the rubbish let it down, so surfing here was less desirable out amongst the rubbish. Had to wear shoes on the beach due to amount of rubbish. Lots of dogs, but they kept to themselves.

If you take le right turn you go down to Gajah Mina Resort and Secret bay Restaurant.Good sea food. reasonnable priced. A beautiful nature walk on top of the cliff. For nature lovers..

The black sand feels nice on your feet. If you don’t surf, there is nothing for you to do here, the sea water is grey and very rough. Not very good spot for swimming. But the black sandy beach looks truly amazing and it feels so soft. As on every beach on bali, plastic beaches are a hype, unfortunately this one as well.

Beautiful and calm place. We took surf lesson & that was amazing! Enjoyed our honeymoon's first days here and would highly recommend to stay at! Waves are too high for swimming but good for surfing & you can also enjoy the beautiful and very calm beaches by walking

This beach was quiet with small crowds. The water was clear and great for walking. Some parts have soft charcoal colored/black sand, while other parts have rocks. Collected a lot of small seashells. Every morning, surfers were out surfing. A few stray dogs waiting for anyone to feed them. Some trash but not as bad as other beaches in Bali. Enjoyed this beach more than the populated beaches in Bali too.

Amazing surfing beach. I drove my scooter from Canggu to Balian and it was amazing once I got closer to the beach. But it was super sketchy and overall do not recommend driving a scooter on the main roads that far. I got to these rice terraces very close to the beach which was a beautiful surprise. Once I got to the beach you can have some coffee and watch the surf. After my surf there’s a great pool you can chill at for the day, just pay I think 100k. Highly recommend this spot if you wanna surf and chill

Another most visited place in Bali. The temple is beautiful. The location is even better. Though bit far from Kuta; the visitors is worthwhile. Now it is entirely on the tide timings whether you can reach the main temple or not. If you happen to be there during low tide then just walk across the the flat rocks and you can reach the main temple stairs. Though there is nothing much to see there. The entire temple compound is beautifully landscaped. You may walk around to see the other photogenic spots. There are many stores and shops selling snacks and souvenirs. You may visit them while returning back. The main issue is transportation. If you are on a scooter then no worries. But if you are taking a Grab or Gojek cab from Kuta then it will be wise to ask the driver to wait for you there and come back in the same car. Local taxis might charge a lot if taken from the temple area.

There are plenty of little shops selling local souvenirs and crafts, a variety of restaurants and cafés where you can grab a meal or a fresh coconut while enjoying the ocean breeze, and sometimes you can even catch traditional Balinese dance performances near the temple area. The energy and atmosphere here feel both peaceful and lively at the same time. It can get a bit crowded during sunset, but it’s worth it. Just take your time, find a good spot, and enjoy the moment. If you’re planning a trip to Bali, don’t skip Tanah Lot. You’ll leave with amazing photos and even better memories.

The church itself is beautiful. It's worth a visit. We were there during low tide, so we could get quite close to the church and even went to a part of it. To go up, the local priests must first bless you, and then they'll let you onto the stairs. I don't think the church itself is open to tourists. It wasn't crowded, which was also a plus.

I had so much fun there! I helped a tourist take photos with their partner, and suddenly I became a professional photographer — but I really enjoyed it! The place was beautiful, the waterfall was stunning and very cold, though it took quite some effort to walk there, hahaha.

It’s a beautiful waterfall and on a sunny day would be amazing for a swim as you can sit behind the falling water in a cave of sorts. It costs 50,000 rupiah and is 400 steps down and then back up again.. not hard and worth it to feel the power of the falls. Plus the place is beautiful with a cafe with gorgeous views!

I visited Leke Leke Waterfall and it was such a peaceful and beautiful experience. When we arrived, we were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves, which made it feel almost magical — just the sound of the water, the greenery, and complete quiet. It’s the kind of spot that really lets you take in Bali’s natural beauty without distraction. The walk down to the waterfall is a short hike, but don’t let the word “short” fool you — it can definitely get your heart rate up, especially if you’re not used to hiking. The path has some uneven parts and a few inclines, but the reward at the bottom is absolutely worth it. Standing at the base of the falls with no one else around was incredibly serene. Of course, what goes down must come back up — and the hike back up is where you really feel it. If you’re cardio-challenged, just go at your own pace and take breaks if you need to. The views and the peaceful setting make it worth the effort. Overall, Leke Leke is a beautiful, quiet escape and a great choice if you want a more secluded waterfall experience in Bali. If you enjoy nature, don’t mind a bit of a workout, and want that postcard-perfect waterfall moment without the crowds, this one is a must-visit.

This is located slightly off the road towards Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. There are about 400 steps down the mountain to view this, but they are worth the effort and ticket price. It is a breathtaking view. All you feel is being mesmerized. It is a tall waterfall, well hidden from outside. As you go nearer, the sound of water grows until you come across it. The steps are easy to negotiate even during rains.

Absolutely stunning waterfall! Deffo recommend going here, it’s like 400 steps down through a little jungle/forest. I went in the morning and the crowds were totally fine. We saw a White-lipped Pit Viper and that scared the shit out of me so I didn’t end up going in the water anymore but other than that super beautiful waterfall.

Long hike of 2 kilometers. Don’t try to arrive with car o bike, too narrow. Very abandoned. Too much trash around. Can make a nice photo but all around is not nice. No one there. Non touristic. Can go with flip flops.

Beautiful waterfall! We had it all to ourselves: it’s very way to get to, the tickets are 15Rp each person and the walk is 15 minutes or so through a well marked path. You can opt for a guide or not (we didn’t) and the locals are very nice.

We came from medewi, google maps took us the complete wrong way. Husband found the correct way on another map. The waterfall was nothing special, no one asked for money at all, and didnt see anyone while there. We scooted down the whole way, right to the falls, it was a really great scooter ride (better than seeing the falls) have added the map we followed on google-not the right one, do not follow these directions

Do not trust Google Maps for directions to Blahmantung. The red dot on my screenshot marks the only way to reach the waterfall. At this point, you will see a small signboard that says “waterfall.” After that, you should take the winding path through the jungle with durian trees. But your bike will be fine for this route. It’s better not to look at the map too often, as you might worry that you’ve gone off track. Be patient—this section takes about 10-15 minutes. You will arrive directly at the waterfall.

Before you park someone who lives there come and sell you tickets for 15,000 Rupis per person. But on the ticket it says it is a donation. Anyway, the waterfall is amazing. There were not many people. When we arrive there, there was only me and my wife. The hiking part takes 15 minutes. Be sure you have proper shoes or sandals (not flip-flops). Enjoy the beauty.

Amazing temple on the rocks just slightly out in the water. Need to come when low tide to get across as the path is closed at high tide. Best to bring a pair of sandals so you can change in case the water is coming in. You get blessed the bottom by the priests and then you can go a little way up the steps but not right to the temple. Great views by the temple ND around the grounds. There are some restaurants up on the cliffs that over look the temple. There is also a market as you walk from the entrance to the temple.

Tanah Lot is located on west coast and hence very popular place for sunset view. At the parking, there are lots of souvenir shop. Then, you can walk to the Cliff to watch sunset. Nobody is allowed to go inside the temple premises. You can climb down from the cliff to go to the beach as well. Lots of small cafes and restaurants.

Good temple for a sunset, nice views over the cliffs. Good place to stroll around. Getting a grab home is a bit tougher to had to walk and bit north towards the Circle K so they were allowed collect me.

Domestic entry is 50k. This is only for the walk in the park. They charge everything you do; take a pic, feed fish, pet an animal, even toilets stop is charge at Rp.2000. This object become so silly.. so many artificial statue that doesnt involved with the alexisting of the temple itself.

Greatvplace to visit. The lake is awesone. Too bad it rained so hard when we visited that we were not able to take a boat ride.

We stopped here for a snack with friends. We had some desserts and some appetizers just for a little relaxing snack before dinner. We went to the temple after this and prior to this we went to the four-wheeling adventure. Definitely worth a nice little quiet relaxing spot on the lake. Had a great time with friends and family

Came here during the evening close to closing, and a paid ticket entry is required. It's really misty and cold. The flowers are really pretty too. Many temples here and tourist attractions such as petting zoo and photo opt. Also some cafe and restaurants here. Family-friendly place as there is a playground and many animal statues for phototaking. Super pretty lake to look at too.

Should proud to be Indonesian and have this beautiful landscape, should try feeding the fish at the north west there are only $10 for the feeders its fun but try to not coming when peak hours 11-3pm, hot weather and many tourists come over there.

I went to Bali at the end of October. I visited Bedugul at 2 p.m You can see the temple in the middle of the lake. the situation was crowded and also very hot. For me, the most impressive experience was seeing tourists praying at the temple. The least memorable thing was getting stuck while riding a duck boat on Lake Bedugul.

This was my 4th time visiting the monkey forest and I loved it. Despite what you hear about monkey aggression, you just have to follow the rules and signs. I did make eye contact with a monkey by accident and it grabbed me which I found quite funny to be honest. It didn’t hurt me, and it was my mistake lol. To add to that, I have never been attacked or seen anyone badly injured here. Honestly, it was heartwarming to see the local Balinese bonding and feeding the monkeys, you can tell they are trained and know what they are doing. I really enjoy the fact that these monkeys are able to free roam. It may be scary for humans, but it is great that they are not chained or caged. It is so nice to see the Balinese genuinely care for these gorgeous animals. At the end of the day, you are in the monkeys home. Treat them with respect and they shall leave you be. It’s a really beautiful and breezy area. The natural landscape of this place is breathtaking.

A nice casual walk in the park. There are a lot of monkeys but they are not aggressive. There are conservation staff around to park to ensure that the interactions between the guests and monkeys are safe and ethical. The monkeys are not particularly afraid of humans and may climb onto a person, although no feeding is allowed. Most part of the park is shaded and in forest area. Bring bug spray. There’s a nice and easy walking trail through the forest and lots of relics to look at.

If you're a fan of monkeys and Balinese sculpture, you will love this lush green forest. It is a well-designed sanctuary with a good pathway system that makes for an easy walk. The monkeys are everywhere and very entertaining to see. It was a great spot to spend an hour or so.

This place is absolutely beautiful, magical, and full of wanderlust energy! Monkeys are everywhere swinging from trees, lounging on railings, and living their best lives. The forest itself feels like stepping into another world, surrounded by lush greenery and ancient temples covered in moss. It’s incredible to watch these monkeys up close (just hold onto your belongings!). I had such a fun and unforgettable experience here. The monkeys truly seem to be living great lives in their sacred jungle home.

Amazing! The monkeys were very chill during our visit. I had heard stories about them stealing belongings, but we didn’t see any of that. The place felt peaceful, entertaining, and truly magical.

I absolutely love the Sacred Monkey Forest. It is one of my favorite places to visit in Ubud. There are a few monkeys that can be a bit territorial, but the majority of them are extremely comfortable with all the people and just want to play or chill out. You can buy tickets in advance, but you don’t need to. There are plenty of kiosks or if you prefer to purchase them from a person, I’ve never seen much of a line.

We visited Balizoo on the 2/10/25. This was a wonderful all day experience. The open spaces for the animals gives reassurance that they are well cared for. Each animal having their own story told via the zoo wardens. We fed and rode the elephants, being able to get up close and personal with them was a great experience.Rahning and Adi were our guides for the Behind Closed Doors tour. Both are very good communicators, are knowledgeable about the individual animals, their back stories… Both Rahning and Adi were very engaging, confident and reassuring, they both enriched our experience at Balizoo. Thank you to everyone at Balizoo for making a wonderful experience for us.🫶

I really enjoyed my time here. I went around midday on a Wednesday and there were very few people there. They had large roped areas for lines for tickets and the shuttle - however I never had to line up. Everything was smooth. I thought it would be super hot, but they’ve done a great job with shaded footpaths. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. All the enclosures felt well cared for and clean. A highlight for me was feeding the Lemurs! For 200k you could feed them. They had someone who could take photos of you using your own phone (great for me as I was alone). I wish they had a clear schedule for feeding times so you know when they are doing it. I just happened to show up at the right time There are plenty of food options with both restaurants and snack shops.

We had so much fun at the Bali Zoo! We purchased the combo package that included the Elephant Expedition and the Behind Closed Doors tour. It was wonderfully organized and we have memories to last us a lifetime! Our guides Rahning and Angga were amazing 🤩. They were very informative, funny, and interactive with the people on the tour. They separated the tour into small groups so you weren’t on it with too many people. It worked out great! We even got to go to the tiger and lion cages to feed them food! 😱 this is a must-do when visiting Bali, 10/10 recommend!

We had an amazing day at Bali Zoo. The place is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with lots of greenery. The animals look well taken care of and the enclosures are well maintained. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We especially loved the animal encounters – feeding the elephants and deer was such a fun experience. Perfect place to visit with kids, very educational and enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit when in Bali!

I absolutely loved the Bali Zoo! It was an experience unlike any other that I have ever had and I have been going to the zoo since I was a kid. I’ve been to the zoo in California, Amsterdam, New Jersey, And other places and this was one the more intimate and beautiful experiences that I can say that I’ve had. I can tell that the people really care for the animals. They are about preserving the species that are endangered and educating people about the animals. I might end up going back before I finish my stay if not I hope these picture ls and videos encourage others to go. I did the Behind Closed Doors experience which allows you to have a light lunch, visit the zoo and then experience the behind the scenes safari where you can feed the lions, tiger, elephants, ostrich, and several other animals and learn about the operations of the zoo and the animals. They use positive reinforcement at the zoo which I also liked and makes me happy as an animal lover and lover of nature and living things. I’m giving this experience and destination 5 stars for the zoo and staff not for the life lunch provided lol that’s all I will say there. They are a zoo not a 5 star restaurant but where there is Bintang beer in Bali I’m happy 🤷🏾‍♀️🫶🏾🙌🏾❤️😍

We had a great time at Bali Zoo! The place is clean, well kept, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The highlight was definitely feeding the deer and elephants such a fun and memorable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the entrance package feels a bit overpriced for what’s included.

📍 Bali Bird Park Review The Bali Bird Park is absolutely one of my favorite experiences in Bali—so much so that I’m already planning to come back next time I visit! I was so excited about this place. Out of everything I’ve done here, this stood out the most. I didn’t just like it—I insanely loved it! The variety of birds is stunning, and the staff do a great job presenting them in a way that feels engaging without being overwhelming. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, and the interactive bird shows are a real highlight—you get to see the birds up close in action. What really blew me away was how incredibly interactive and friendly the birds are. I thought I’d spend maybe 2 or 3 hours here, but I could have stayed all day. Every moment was a new adventure—looking, playing, and feeding the birds. It felt less like visiting a park and more like being part of a living, magical conversation with nature. There are even flocks of flamingos and hens roaming around freely, which feels surreal and delightful, like they’ve casually decided to join your walk. Alongside them, the park has well-kept aviaries that house other species in lush little habitats, giving you a mix of spontaneous encounters and curated beauty. One thing I’d skip next time is the lunch package—the food wasn’t very special, and meanwhile, everyone else was enjoying the birds. Better to eat outside so you don’t miss any of the magic inside. If you love animals, colors, and joy, the Bali Bird Park is pure wonder. I can’t recommend it enough—and I absolutely can’t wait to return.

The most gorgeous and interesting birds! The park itself is lovely. The landscaping and enclosures looked great. The information presentations were very engaging and fun. They let you feed some of the birds, you can have pictures holding the birds. I was impressed with the food at the restaurant- we ordered a la carte, and we had nasi goreng, spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti bolognese. The kids loved their pastas, and the nasi was delicious. Oh! Also we got spring rolls which were absolutely perfect. The toilets at the park were like fancy hotel toilets; with air conditioning and very clean and well maintained cubicles. Impressive for Bali! We had a wonderful, fun, educational day. Loved it!

Great park friendly staff and plenty to see. We had to do a quick tour due to other commitments but really enjoyed the hour we were there. They even have a couple of kamodo dragons as well. They do daily feeding sessions with some of the animals and you can hold the parrots for a nice picture. Set in beautiful grounds give it a go you will enjoy

It was an awesome experience for the whole family! The kids even got to feed the birds – really fun and interesting. I never got the feeling that the animals aren’t well taken care of; everything looks clean and nicely maintained. The restaurant was great too, delicious food! We’d love to come back.

This was such a fun and full day out with my toddler! She and I both loved it. The staff are incredible, the grounds and enclosures are stunning, and there are several opportunities to ‘interact’ with birds as well as see special ‘shows’. The ticket is a bit expensive, but overall with it. The food though is not great, so bring your own picnic (and water !!! As water is 42,000 for a bottle)

Worth it! First off, you’ll get to see an amazing variety of tropical birds. Big ones! Colorful ones! You can even hold them!! The shows throughout the day get you very up close and personal with the birds. The Komodo dragons were an unexpected bonus. Got to watch them eat!

A wonderful experience! The Bali Bird Park is a true 5-star gem. The birds are absolutely beautiful and the recreated natural habitat is stunning. A must-see for all nature and bird lovers. You can get up close and personal with many species, making it a very special and unforgettable visit.

A lovely place to see the monkeys. It didn’t feel overly busy when we were there, like some place in Bali do now, much more relaxed. You get a small bag of food for the monkeys with you ticket and a bottle of water. You can hand feed the monkeys or they may climb and sit on you if you hold the food up. Lots of staff walking about to help / take photos / answer questions. Also the monkeys weren’t that aggressive which was nice.

You can get up close for amazing photos, capturing their curious and playful nature. Occasionally, they’ll even climb onto you, their soft little hands adding a charming touch to the experience. The ticket includes a small bag of bananas and peanuts, which is perfect for attracting the monkeys’ attention and creating memorable moments. The staff are scattered throughout the park, always ready to assist with a smile, ensuring a safe and enjoyable visit. I walked away with so many fantastic photos and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this sanctuary for a fun, heartwarming adventure!

I have mixed feelings about this place. At first glance, I thought it was a friendly and welcoming spot. The grounds are very clean, the entry price is affordable, and the overall ambiance feels peaceful, and family-friendly. That said, there are a few things to be aware of. Some of the locals are quite pushy about selling photos, which can take away from the experience. The monkeys themselves are also aggressive. Our tour guide warned us not to look them in the eyes since it’s seen as a sign of aggression, and unfortunately, we witnessed a girl get bit. After that, the excitement of seeing the monkeys quickly turned into unease, and we didn’t feel comfortable continuing. On the positive side, the forest itself feels sacred and serene — You can definitely sense its cultural and spiritual importance. The staff are friendly, and our tour guide was incredibly informative, which helped balance out some of the discomfort. There’s plenty of parking available (though you do have to pay for it), and one thing to note is that there’s no Wi-Fi on the grounds, so you’ll need to rely on your cellular connection for the most part. Pro Tips: • The bathrooms are located outside the monkey forest, and there’s a 5,000 RP fee to use them. • They don’t ask for donations, but the facilities aren’t the cleanest. Toilet paper is limited, so bring your own just in case. • Stay aware of your surroundings and avoid eye contact with the monkeys to reduce the risk of getting bitten. Overall, Sangeh Monkey Forest has a unique and sacred atmosphere worth experiencing, but you should go prepared, stay cautious around the monkeys, and expect a bit of hustle from locals selling extras.

This place has balinese monkey's. Most of them are quite friendly. I have seen people feeding them. The temple nearby is good. Unfortunately during my visit there was a festival so I couldn't visit inside. Pics attached are outside of the temple with decoration done.

We recommend to come to Sangeh during their Odalan, it’s the prettiest with all the penjor decorations all over. . Also, be nice with the photographer, they can guide too, you can always negotiate things. Ours was very nice and I negotiate to transfer all photos from his camera through wifi connection.

Its an amazing experience to see the monkeys so close. There are 3 families living in the forest. Two families are not friendly so no smiling no eye contact. One family, (the guides should tell) is trained for human interaction. We got water, and monkeyfood including the tickets. It was fun to feed them, they were jumping on you sometimes, but grabbed you very gently. I fed like 20 monkeys, and many of them picked the nut from my palm like i wwere a baby. The timy monkeys are adorable and fun to watch how they fool around you.

What a great experience!!! We visited the forest two times because our kids had a great time! The Temple is in the forest and looks so nice. At the entrance the give you food for the monkeys!

Not particularly remarkable. Impressive from the outside, but rather underwhelming from the inside. One can climb the tower, but frankly there are cities in this world that offer more spectacular views than Denpasar. The Diorama is a nice idea in principle, but given that there’s hardly any documentation I took very little away from it. Disappointing, particularly for such a recent monument. The entrance fee is IDR 100k, and I was literally the only person visiting on an August Sunday afternoon. There are toilets inside.

Lovely and peaceful We were surprised at the lack of tourists Museum set in the most beautiful manicured park in Renton, a five minute drive from Sanur 100k entry. Beautiful celebration of victory over Dutch colonialism, of which the Bali people can be proud. I’m so glad we went. The spiral staircase to the very top is worth the climb for the views. As we left there was a band commencing, food stalls setting up, with bean bags on the extensive grounds. A treat!

The outside of it is beautiful. Looking out the terrace inside the building gives you a wonderful view of Bali and the interior gives you a nice insight on Indonesian history.

It is a beautiful and peaceful park to go for a walk through. When we arrived they told us the splash park was closed (wasn’t on the website) We decided to still do it. There are some beautiful statues along the way you can get pics in or next too. There was heaps of mosquitoes we all had patch’s and spray on. We had a large family so took 2 prams, it was extremely hard to push with the rocks would recommend a carrier. Our ticket included honey tasting. We thought it would have been more than 1 tasting/spoon however it wasn’t. Overall was a nice park.

Beautiful place to visit we were there for an hour but could of stayed a lot longer. Gardens are full of beautiful statues etc and have an animal interaction. There was a group of kids absolutely loving it while we were there.

A great spot for a quiet and beautiful wander around some beautiful gardens with some fun sculptures, small water park and playground for the kids. We also got to interact with some reptiles. The kids enjoyed it a lot and I would say a must visit if you are in sanur.

A great place to just walk through if you want a chilled out day. There's a water park great for the kids. Some great places through out to take some really good photos. On the pricey end for something your just walking through, but worth it if your taking the kids for the water area.

Lots to see and has a great splash park area for the kids to cool off in. Don't forget your bug spray as being a garden with water areas there are a lot of mosquito's. Worth the visit

A must try seafood dishes. Seafood Corner, just in the right side of the Big Garden entrance gate. Width parking, aircond room, as well as out door tables. Welldone grill kerapu fish and more. Fresh, great taste, nice serving.

The place was not busy when i visited. Beautifully landscaped gardens. Perfect for a quiet stroll or hanging out with friends and family. I went there randomly and I didn't know that the ticket comes with free drinks and honey tasting. Sounds exciting but it's so sad I was not able to experience that. I just accidentally read it while writing this review. Nobody told me at the ticketing booth. No one bothered to explain what's included. She just processed my payment and handed me the receipt. So I thought it's just the admission fee. There are some spots that seemed neglected and needed attention. Entrance fee was quite expensive at 150,000 Rupiahs. 1 to 2 hours would be enough to go around the area.

Tourist trap alert: The cafe in general is decent and allows tasting of all their coffee options, gratis. However, from a pricing standpoint the coffee here isn't anything super unique but ends up costing 3-4x. The usual swing game and Kapi Luwak for Instagrammers hungry with FOMO can also be found here. Worthy a miss.

We visited this niche coffee producers place on recommendation from our tour guide and it was good. They take you through the coffee growing, production and also has a luwak which you can pet there. At the end of the tour you can also do some taste testing with a wide variety of coffees and teas and purchase them on the spot. They also have a swing there which we decided to use due to convenience. It cost us IDR636k which included the swing, coffee we purchased, the tasting and the Balinese cake which was made of black rice and coconut. A unique experience to try out.

Couldn't believe we could try all these delicious coffees and teas for free. It was so nice to get a wide variety. They didn't have very much food at all but I did enjoy their traditional balinese cake. There is also a shop downstairs where you can purchase the tea and coffee you have tried as well as the famous Lerwak coffee.

One of the best stops we had on this road trip employees have explained us the way of making coffee different type of tea. Trees was an excellent experience definitely recommend.

Products are not good quality and are overpriced. The staff was nice and seeing the luwak and the tasting was nice. The mini tour they did was also nice. I wasn't forced to buy the coffee but of course I felt more inclined to because of the tasting. I asked if there was no sugar as the drinks on the tasting were all very sweet. He promised me it was no sugar. So I purchased the avocado coffee. When I got home to try it it was insanely sweet and the direction of 3 teaspoons was not enough. I realised there are no ingredients on the back and it doesn't even say where this was made. They told me the coffee was made there but clearly its just some instant milk sugar (or sweetner) powder with a tiny bit of coffee flavouring. You can get the same from the local supermarket for a quarter of the price. I actually later bought some from the supermarket for only a few dollars. I can see that this business tends to reply negatively if people say its a scam. I'm not forced to buy anything but they clearly misrepresented what they are selling and its a poor quality product that is probably sold in every "coffee plantation" in bali. I would avoid buying anything.

Wow! This place was amazing! Quick tour and explanation of coffee growing. We enjoyed sampling all the coffees and teas. Our Host, Martini, was wonderful. So sweet and helpful. She made the experience!!! We walked out with lots of coffee to bring home. Highly recommend this place while in Bali.

First of all, I appreciated whoever was in charge answering the whatsapp messages, she/he has done a good job, quick respond and very clear answer. Second of all, I would like to address thank you to the waiter named Angga Putra. He was a sweet and genuine person. Very kind and friendly service. Also the other waiter who was replacing Angga during his break time. They were very friendly and attentive. Thirdly, the place itself was beautiful, me and my husband were enjoying the place and the atmosphere. Food wise, it was just OK in my opinion, the Greek pizza was good. Wagyu sushi was... So.. So.. And the kroket rendang was a bit salty, and also your water glass was kind of unpresentable to the guests. Overall, we did enjoy the time that we spent there. However, I got the worst attitude from your hostess. Her attitude was unbelievably rude and unacceptable. I was shocked and upset right away, and trying to calm down myself and my husband, since we would like to enjoy the day. But then we decide to write the review, and hopefully what happened to me will never happen to others. I couldn't remember her name, but I think it was Shinta or Shanti or something started with S, she escorted us to our sun deck bed, and once we arrived at the sun deck bed, she asked me a question, "Mbak nya dari Indonesia ya?" ("Are you Indonesian?"), and I said yes I am. The next question that she asked me was shocked me and upset me sooooo muuchhh. "Gimana, enak nya dapet Bule?" ("Is it nice to get Bule?"). I was stoned for a few seconds, and asked her "enak gimana maksudnya?" ("What do you mean by enak?"), and then she just waved her hand and said that the towel will come soon, and left. My whole life, this is the worst attitude I ever had! I did not expect that a high club like this will have a staff with a very poor attitude and mind set. I never have had in my life a question like that, so upsetting and even until now when I write this, I still can feel my anger and hurt. My husband gave you a 4 star review, because he wanted to give a good rate for Angga putra. But in My point of view, I would not give you that star review, since you need to know that the attitude of your Hostess hurt me so much. Your hostess needs to apologize.

I loved the style of this bar, recommended by my tattoo consultant. I went there on my last day in Bali. It was my friend's birthday; she was in another country, so I ordered a small cake to bring with me. （I didn't know there also have birthday cake before I arrive). Everything was fine on the way out, but halfway there, it suddenly started to rain heavily, soaking me to the bone. I hadn't expected the distance to be quite long, but by the time I arrived, I was completely soaked. The staff were very nice and told me that if I only brought the cake in to take photos and not eat it, it wouldn't be a problem and wouldn't be charged. Since I wasn't invited any friends that day, I was hoping to enjoy my last night in Bali. I was eventually escorted to the restaurant and seated. The waiter who greeted me was a short, bespectacled boy with a strange, almost disdainful expression. I'm not sure who taught him that. He seemed to be serving other tables normally, but we didn't interact much. Was he treating me like that because I was soaking wet? Or was it because I was alone? I think there are no other problems. The quality of the waiters needs to be screened and improved. If you don't want to work in the service industry, you can become your own boss. No one forces you to work in a bar

My partner and I visited Luna last night. It’s a beautiful spot for sunset, and the architecture is very unique — credit where it’s due. The fire dance show was also a great touch and one of the few highlights of the evening. That said, the experience overall didn’t live up to the hype. The place is trying to be exclusive, unique and high-end, but it comes off more flashy than refined. The atmosphere lacked energy, the music was overly loud electronic beats in the all sections, and the crowd didn’t add much to the vibe (we were trying to enjoy our time there and kept getting harassed by drunk patrons splashing water, bumping into us and continuous uninvited gestures). Prices are quite steep, even for Bali beach clubs — (61k for a small bottle of water for example), plus entry fees, service charges, and a minimum spend just to sit anywhere (like the singular chair and table pictured below). Many of the attractions, like the slide and viewing deck, also closed surprisingly early which was disappointing as we didn’t get to experience them. We’re not heavy partiers, but we do enjoy good beach clubs when they’re done right — Finn’s and Potato Head both manage to feel lively, welcoming, and premium without overdoing it. Luna has potential, but it needs to find a better balance between image and experience. All of that being said, Luna was just not our cup of tea unfortunately. However, for a place with such unique features, we were expecting a lot more from it. Hopefully they can iron out their creases in the future and we wish them the best as they integrate into the interesting nuandu creative community development.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious; every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with care and fresh ingredients. A special shoutout to Reza, our server, who made the experience even better. He was friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. He took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and enjoys what he does. Overall, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be coming back — and I’ll be asking for Reza again.

We had a fabulous dinner at Restaurant 369 and tried the Feed Me menu. It was absolutely superb! Every dish was spot on, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. A special shout-out to Reza, our waiter, who made the night even better with his outstanding service, warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. He absolutely deserves a raise ah! We'll definitely be back.

One of a good place for prewedding photoshoot in Bali. As Tabanan regency has lot of palace than other regency elsewhere. They also open for foreign visitor. The building is unique and retro. They really well kept this heritage. Komang is one of the staff here was very friendly and well accomodate our needs. 그러나 한 노인이있을 수 있습니다. 아마도 주인이 ... 그는 매우 성가신 일이었습니다. But so far...was good. Make sure, for photoshoot..there is an entrance fee ... more precisely a donation ... but there is a minimum price ...

Had no inclination to get in the small but crowded “tub” seems more a local hangout and the amenities also are not for tourists in a way cool to see something more authentic but also not for me in this respect. The guy at parking was nice enough to refund my ticket (which I got on arrival in the parking lot) when I took a look and changed my mind… The drive down is a bit of an adventure, though

The surroundings are wonderful. Untouched, Belulang is a charming village The health garden is amazing and the holy coldwater spring is magnificant. But The hot springs are poor maintained, dirty and the hygienic situation is disgusting. OUR tip: Park your vehicle there and than Explorer everything, but not the hot springs.

Sweet local atmosphere ♨️ change room could use some TLC but not an issue. There are 6 small tubes from the source and that’s my favorite temperature, you need to stand under it. One big tub with less warm temperature and one small slightly warmer. Locals come have daily shower here, relaxed vibe, few ladies selling their produce and there are few Warungs on site♨️ Tip: Local ladies recommend me to wear Sarong instead of Bikini as a respect to the temple behind the hotspring✨

It was my second visit here and a real hidden treasure as a tourist to try a local experience. It is lacking some facilities like a clean and dry change room but the hot springs experience was perfect for the price, 16,000 for two people and my driver and myself were almost the only people there when we arrived just before midnight.

Recomended guys!!!!! Cheaper only Rp5000 / Person Park only Rp3000 / motorbike No limit time, you can stay for hours as long as you like 🥰 They've Toilet and Bathroom There's local food (warung) they've noodles soup, fried noodles, fried rice, tipat. Nice hot belerang local place.

Wonderful place. Its for everyone, locals and bule, it's not big, but 10 people could easily fit in. It's vulcanic water and ypu have three outdoor showers with hot water as well. Some were sitting im there 20min.Such a joy.

This place was awesome! The pools were nice and warm. The water coming out of the spouts was pretty hot. Probably slightly less hot than a hot tub. This place is small, so don't expect some kind of huge spring. It's the size of a small swimming pool. Best of all, it was off the beaten path so there weren't a hundred tourist in all our photos. Actually, there weren't any tourist there when we went on a Saturday around noon. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Not very crowded, very beautiful) Above there is a restaurant with a good view, along the long distance to the beach there is a museum Ogoh figures, but I myself have not seen them 😄 And there are rooms for rent, it is a few minutes from the beach) A little further there is a sacral cave of bats, there is a available to it at a great low tide.

I always loved this place...it's a quiet place..u can see in frot of the main road..and in the back yard is a beach it so peace full. The menu is so delicious, and U can reserved for big group..or just go whith your family and enjoy the view.. There's alot of toilet and a clean prayers room..love it 😘👍

Great Views and Photos, But Staff Attitude Needs Work Visited Real Bali Swing in Ubud and overall, it’s a good place if you’re looking for some iconic photo moments with a lush, scenic backdrop of greenery and water. The location itself is beautiful and natural, with about 8–10 different swings designed for that perfect Instagram shot. However, it’s on the expensive side — 650K IDR per person for access to all swings and lunch, plus 200K per person if you want professional photography, and another 250K for dress rental (plus 50K for a floral crown). Also, do note they prefer cash over card, which can be a hassle if you’re not carrying enough. Some swings were genuinely fun and made for amazing photos, while others felt more like filler rides just there to increase the count. The major downside was the staff, especially the male crew members managing the swings. The reception ladies were friendly and helpful, but the swing assistants were rude, impatient, and lacking basic manners. Despite paying for photography, we had to call them multiple times just to get their attention for photos, and they acted like they were doing us a favor. Another thing I found unfair is that even if you want to use just one or two swings, you still have to pay the full 650K — no option for individual access. Toilets are also very limited and not well-maintained, which was disappointing for a place charging premium prices. Overall, worth a visit for the natural setting and memorable pictures, but the experience could be so much better if the staff were more courteous and the pricing model was a bit more flexible.

Obviously very touristy but such a gorgeous place showcasing the beauty of Bali. Had so much fun taking photos even with just the general entry, which also came with the lunch buffet. It was just a nice bonus but you could even just sit there with some tea and soak in the views. I recommend going super early before it gets packed and if you're lucky you might get one of the local photographers to help you but make sure you tip them!!!

It looks dreamy and adventurous in photos, but in reality, it’s more of a well-managed photo spot than an actual thrill ride. The queues can be long, and everything feels a bit commercialized, from the setup to the pricing. That said, once you’re up there swinging against the backdrop of Bali’s lush greenery, you can’t deny the view is breathtaking. The staff are friendly, they guide you well for safety and also help you get those perfect Insta-worthy shots. It might not live up to the overhype, but it’s definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience — one of those iconic memories and photo proofs that mark your visit to Bali 🇮🇩🌴📸✨

We had an amazing experience at Bali Swing! The staff gave us all the time we needed to take beautiful photos — no rushing or waiting lines stressing everyone out, even though it was Saturday. A big thank you to the whole team for being so kind and for preparing a lovely surprise for my birthday. It made the day even more special!

The guys at the couple's swing are so nice and supportive, they try to take the best pics and videos, and they try until you get beautiful memories. My husband and I were a bit scared of the heights but they were very understanding and encouraged us. :)

Amazing! Im not a fan of heights but it was super safe. Also my photos were taken using just my phone and a mirror by a kind staff member. I choose to wear my clothes but they have options for a dress if thats your thing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Secret Garden Village in Bali is simply enchanting! The whole ambiance is just beautiful — rice fields stretching out, thoughtfully landscaped gardens, and architecture that blends tradition and modern style.  I dined there, and the food was incredibly good, full of flavor, fresh, and well presented. The coffee was outstanding as well — strong, aromatic, and just what you want while soaking in the view. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. And as a fun detail: you can spot small cats wandering around, adding a little charm to the experience. The view — oh, the view — is absolutely breathtaking, especially over the rice terraces. It can get a bit busy, with quite a few tourists, which slightly affects the quietness, but the setting is still calm enough to relax. The music is pleasant and soft, contributing to the peaceful vibe. Definitely a place worth stopping at if you’re traveling from the south to the north of Bali — this hidden gem is a must-visit. Highly recommended, 5 stars without hesitation!

Secret Garden Village is quite a nice place with interesting shops and a pleasant atmosphere. I am a fan of their Aroma Reed Diffuser. However, it feels unreasonable that visitors not only need to pay 100K for admission which include voucher which is actually redeemable at specified outlet. This extra step makes the experience less welcoming and somewhat discouraging for those who just want to shop!

I was pleasantly surprised by how cool this place was. The entry fee is 100k pp but you get back 80k to spend inside. (Food and drinks and shopping items were really well priced and decent). The entire facility is beautiful and plenty of photo opportunities. It would be a great location for an event.

Gorgeous compound. I came here for a latte and it's a great little spot to grab a nice Australian style one here (red Velvet, caramel macchiato, latte, etc), The staff at Secret Garden Village is so attentive and lovely. Bathrooms are clean. Property is new and immaculate. I saw a promotion for the use of the swing with free coffee or juice for 100,000 rph which seems pretty affordable given coffee is half that price, for those interested in the swing experience.

Lovely place to visit and explore. Lucky to have come during the promo no entrance fee. Still worth it to go for stroll. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

We walked away from this place when they want to charge 100,000rp per person to enter restaurant for coffee & food. We have done the tour several times taking guests that have stayed with us in our villa in Baturiti, I feel this place is turning away paying customers as we do not wish to repeat tour or access shop on each visit. I may not visit again unless their charging policy changes to access restaurant only. Such a pity as we like to support our local businesses in this area.

Eating here is delicious, the view is really beautiful, your tiredness will disappear here because you are served by friendly, polite waiters, it feels like eating at home and with your own family. The feeling of family warmth comes from the friendliness of the waiters, the toilets are also clean, the drinks are also delicious

I visit the beach around 18:00 Bali time. It's probably good timing to get the perfect sunset. Most people, local and foreign, were waiting for it. Unfortunately, I missed it. Cloudy, if you know what I mean. *Honest Review* 1. The Beach: Good beach; light surfing is welcomed here. 2. Scene: Most people are waiting for sunset, so yes, it's great when sunset. 3. Family-friendly: I would say yes; for lots of them gather here, especially local people. 4. Facilities: You can buy your needs at nearby warongs. There are lots of them. And if you're not satisfied, go a bit farther before the beach, on main road. There are a lot of good cafes. As I'm a local, and during open hours, they charge me a very cheap price, and I believe it's the same for foreigners, so no biggies about pricing.

Another beautiful beach on the western Bali, you could have a perfect sunset view here with affordable entrance. Just need to pay parking for your car/motorcycle and you could also enjoy local eatery around. This beach is mainly used for professional surf due to the massive waves, however we still could spent afternoon playing in the water at the beach. Lot of construction here, hope we could see each this area could develop well in the upcoming years.

For this area there is more or less one normal beach.But you can't swim, the waves are too big. During the day the beach is almost empty, and only in the evening do people come to watch the sunset🌅 There is a toilet and shower👍🏽

Super nice beach for surfing. Get an instructor it’s a super tricky wave to read and can get big.

A bit underdevelopment compared to other beaches but at the same time it feels more pristine than other beaches. A lot of rocks along the beach.. the sand is black and very soft. Not many stores/eateries along the beach area. Seems people come here to surf mostly. However we also saw many families with kids along the beach playing with the soft sand. If you are going in the afternoon, go around 5-530 when the sun isn't as hot. We went there at 4 and it was scorching hot. Otherwise go in the morning ! Big parking area.

Very crowded at the moment. Its huge area of the beach and have estuarine area so people can play there. The sand is so soft so its comforting when we step in. The sunset is also good. Good access.

It was such a cool trip with the whole family! The guides were amazing – super friendly and explained everything really well. We even got to touch and hold several reptiles, which was a real highlight. But the absolute coolest part was feeding the big saltwater crocodile with a chicken for an extra 100,000 rupiah. An unforgettable experience!

You have to go there, especially if you're also interested in the bird park. They're close and both visits fit comfortably in a day. Beautiful experience to get up close to reptiles you normally only see from afar. A blast for kids and adults, even more so if you catch one of the skilled plurilingual guides who know a lot about these animals!

If you love reptiles, this is a must-visit. Unlike typical zoos or sanctuaries, this one has a guide who explains everything. This enhances your understanding and provides new information. We discovered this beautiful park with Geo, an incredible guide who was there just for us! Little Lucas, 3 years old, and I loved the visit. Geo showed us all the species of reptiles and animals that were in the park, he explained everything to us, where they came from, their specificities. He was wonderful with Lucas, he showed him everything. In the park there is a place where you can be immersed with the animals in the wild, touching them is just great if you want to take beautiful photos with unusual animals. Even though it is a small zoo, it is one of the best I have been to. They let you interact with some replites, including holding a big python in your shoulders. The place is also well organized and easy to navigate, and the staff are super friendly. Bird zoo is next to it, so you can combine two visits into one.

I loved this place! The entry fee comes with a guide who tells you about all the animals. All the animals look healthy and their enclosures look like their set up well. There’s an area where you can pet and hold some animals like tortoises, iguanas, and the blue tongue skink which was really cool. I wish I came during the feedings times so I could have seen the animals eat.

Very refreshing experience. Moderate hot water spring is connected to a artificially formed small pool inside a room which can be locked from inside for privacy. Fresh spring water with sulphur content falls in to pool and excess water drains off. Group of people can join depending on the size of pool. There are showers inside the room for taking bath before entering in to pool. There is no need to take bath after coming out of pool.

It's the first time I've been here, the location is quite clean n cool with affordable prices. The guard is a little bit rude, but it's okay, she's the one who has the place… 😂

This is not hot spring , more like a lukewarm spring. The place is very not crowded and hard to see from the street. For hot spring number 5 and 6 the place is very very much open space and people can see you from outside ( concerning , but the outside pathway , pretty much no one went there ) Access to go here is hard and far from city area. You need to navigate to spaghetti road , go around and around, and eventually arrived. It took around 1.40 hours from north kuta. Seriously, i feels like entering a pee pool with this heat , it's not hot enough. The water smells like well water (expected, but tolerable). A little bit green. Overall, mildly disappointed.

5 stars. First it's not dirty, it's sulfur, darlin. The place,it's really amazing. Surrounded by nice garde. The price is ok. 50k/person/hours.dont complain too much.for evything you got, and also, the maintenance, the workers, they also need to be well paid

One of the closer hot spring places to Canggu. They quoted me 50k for private and 25k for open pool which is outside of the property in the jungle creek. The water is pumped to private suites via giant pool. Locals don't come here as it's indeed overpriced.

Not worth the drive from legian 3.5 hours of driving to get there spent 1.5 hours there and took about 4 hours to get back to much driving for a swim in warm water but the hot spring was nice need fly spray when you go there more flies than anywhere I have ever been

The forest is amazing and hot water is nice but it's dirty. Cant see the bottom. 1 star because my wife paid 20k and I had to pay 50k even if Im local. The skin color determines the price and that is racist! Its racist to have prices that are based on skin color. So no, would not reccomend to any of ny friends.

Don’t come to this beach! It’s the worst I’ve seen. The sand was dirty, the water was murky, and there was absolutely no one else around—probably for a reason. There are zero services available, not even basic amenities. I couldn’t believe this was supposed to be Bali! It felt completely neglected and far from the paradise you’d expect. Avoid it at all costs.

Black sands beach, big rocks, serene and nice. Recommended to run away from busy beach.

The beach is much quieter than other popular ones. The black sand is so beautiful and soft and it’s a very pretty location to watch the sunrise or sunset. When I was there the waves weren’t too strong and it was nice to swim in. I will comment though that there was a lot of rubbish on parts of the beach but not all of the beach.

With the scooter the way is very easy. Parking possible for 2000. It is a nice beach with few tourists and more local people. It is a beautiful quiet place. I just went to the beach for the sunset. The sunset is incredible and the view is just amazing. It is worth it!

Its located near tanah lot temple. The black beach sand and the water was rather warm. If you want avoid the crowded this beach is a good place to see sunset. Some people come to this place for take a photograph, because have stunning background of cliffs. But unfortunately this beach have many trash from near rivers.

We had an unfortunate situation: my boyfriend dropped his drone into the rice terraces. It happened during a holiday, so there were no workers around. We asked a security guard for help, and he immediately agreed. We spent almost two hours walking around the terraces with him, trying to find the drone, but we had no luck. The guard even called his family to help, but it was already late and too dark to continue. We exchanged contacts, and the next day he sent me a photo on WhatsApp showing four people still searching for our drone. In the end, they found it, and we came back to pick it up. The people working there are truly the kindest and most helpful.

Beautiful rice terraces, well worth the drive from Seminyak where I live. Not many tourists when we were there, although high season. A few warungs with view to different fields

Gorgeous and atmospheric views across the rice terraces in the morning sun. We had a cold drink and some delicious home made crisps in the cafe on the road.

Booked a day trip to Nusa Penida with three dives through Adventure Scuba Diving and had an unforgettable experience. We spotted multiple manta rays, a bamboo shark, turtles, beautiful corals and much more. Our instructors, Chris and Clarissa, were absolutely incredible: super knowledgeable and experienced, patient, and with safety always as top priority. Both the instructors and boat crew were friendly and helpful, which made it a great introduction to scuba. The booking and organization with Claire was also easy and efficient. Would definitely recommend Adventure Scuba Diving and Chris & Clarissa!

I did three days of diving with them my partner was getting her open water certification. So the first day I went solo with Raz. Raz was fantastic instructor and very knowledgeable about the wildlife we were seeing on each dive. I hit three different sites over three days. 2 dives the first and second day and three on the third. My partners first day was a pool day but she accompanied us the following days and did the same dives with her instructor. Overall it was a great value we got 12 dives altogether and she got certified for around $1000. The sites we visited were noy easy to get to but we're extremely unique. All of the staff we were able to meet were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely has a passion for what they do. I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Adventure Scuba Diving and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to dive Bali.

I booked a refresher and a fun dive to Usat Liberty Wreck. The facilities at the diving center are nice and well equipped for a refresher, or to start learning. The trip to the location was long, but not boring at all. Nicole, who was my diving instructor, is a super fun person, who is easy to talk to and just loves to dive and explore things under water - which you really could tell! She prepared me well during the refresher and made sure I had a great experience diving the wreck. Additionally, she took some great pictures while diving! Thank you for making this trip that awesome for me, Nicole!

I did my open water scuba certification with Jakub and he was an amazing instructor! He was so knowledgeable, thorough, and patient and he made learning and diving fun! We went to Padang Bai one day since the current was too strong at Tulamben and then Nusa Penida the next day. The sea life and coral are incredible, especially at Nusa Penida! Everything was very professional. Jakub taught me well about safety, about the environment and currents before the dive, and how to dive carefully to not harm the coral and marine life. Chris also came on our Nusa Penida dive and I was lucky to have two instructors who provided their wealth of knowledge to ensure the dive was always safe, smooth, and fun!

What an amazing adventure! Together with the whole family, we spend 2,5 days with the team from Adventure Scuba Diving. I did my Open Water certification with Natalie. She was really good, very calm and knowledgeable. She explained clearly what to expect from each dive. Natalie provided information about the marine life and showed some very interesting underwater creatures. The rest of the family dived with Chris. He was very cheerful, patient and informative! All members of the family had a fantastic experience! Thank you Clarissa and Komang for diving with us! 🤿❤️ Looking forward to our future diving and can really recommend diving with Adventure Scuba Diving for anyone!

Highly recommend this diving company in Bali! First time ever diving. I got my open water cert with them in August 2025 and everything went smoothly! Clarissa was my instructor and she was so good, patient, kind and thorough. By the time I hit the ocean for more skills, it felt no different than doing them in a pool! For me it was 3 days of training, 5 dives with some fun parts on the side since my partner was doing his AOW. Food and transportation was included, and the 1-1 instruction made for such an amazing experience and a good deal (from San Diego, CA, USA). We saw so many beautiful coral and fish. Thanks Chris for some of the pics of us diving! Also applause to Claire for her amazing customer service. She was super prompt in communication, clear on logistics, provided diving locations, WISE payment was easy and helped us figure out getting our diving cards after we were done. Great company, people and the equipment rentals were good quality and in good condition (little wear and tear and they provided booties!) Keep up the good work guys, I’d definitely go back for more dives with this company. Had a 10/10 experience and want to pursue more certs and skills! 🤙🙏🏽🙌

"Diving the USAT Liberty with Nicole — Absolutely Brilliant!" I spent a day diving with Nicole from Adventure Scuba Diving Bali and it was an all-round great experience. From the moment we met, she was relaxed, friendly, and professional. Even the conversations during the drive to and from Tulamben were easy and fun — it felt more like diving with a mate than just a guide. We dived the USAT Liberty wreck, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Nicole’s knowledge of the site and the marine life made the dives even more enjoyable. She gave just the right amount of guidance and space, making it easy to relax and take everything in. I felt safe, supported, and never rushed. Couldn’t have asked for a better dive day. Had a fun time where they let us taste the cacao fruit during the tour. The chocolate taste amazing so does the ice cream.

The restaurant and the own shop are really good + Price for eduction are ok. They give you a lot of information and you can ask every question about the process. If you book the standard education about cacao you will cut a cacao fruit and open it and youcan try to eat the rough fruit inside. o A must see for every chocolate addicted o They produce 60kg organic Chocolates per day. A really pretty cacao plantation and production! Came across this when moving from Ubud to South, since I pretty much did whatever I wanted in Ubud. Really yummy chocolate, friendly staff and beautiful place! Had the chocolate ice cream as well at the cafe, they have chocolate pizza😂 would love to try that next time. They serve lots of chocolates! Got some dark and milk chocolates for gifts to take back home, price was reasonable and great to be able to see the production of chocolate also at the shop area.

For chocolate lovers, this is a must visit place when you are in Tabanan. The menu is affordable, don’t forget their signature Raw Chocolate Ice Cream. The view is also stunning — the rice field is so green. Moreover, they have a chocolate factory and workshop where you can buy the fresh cacao products directly from the shop. The service is also outstanding. Would love to visit again in the future.

Great place to visit with family. Tour includes welcome ice chocolate drink, cocoa tree plantation walk, molding chocolate, opening cocoa bean, row chocolate ice cream and chocolate souvenirs only for 450k. It took us over 2,5 hours to complete program. Definitely worth the price. 5 stars.

An absolute must do in Bali!!!! We loved every second of our visit. We did the tour (35k/person), it was so cheap and we got free chocolate at the end of the tour!! Their knowledge of cocoa is second to none and the staff are so amazing. We stayed for a drink and nibble to eat at the restaurant which has such beautiful scenery. The restaurant is cheap and delicious!!! Highly recommend for everyone visiting Bali. Oh, not to mention the ride from Canggu to here was very beautiful!!

The little leaflet that you get with your ticket is actually quite informative because it allows you to follow the storyline. I thought the fire dance at the end was a little gimmicky but still interesting to watch. The unfortunate thing is it's not as scenic as seeing it at uluwatu temple as you can hear the sound of cars going by. However, if you're staying in the area, it's probably easier to get there and back. We ended up walking from our hotel. The show lasts about an hour

Very colourful and entertaining show, the costumes and performers are great to watch. The story is explained in the pamphlet, however it was just fun to watch along and see what character would pop out next 😅 The show started at 7.30pm (Thurs) and went for an hour. Tickets can be paid for at entry by card, but the machine was broken when we went so we had to quickly find a nearby ATM. There is a small stand in the venue selling drinks and snacks.

Really enjoyed this experience. Very cultural. This was at the Ubud Palace. You can see their traditional dance every Thursday and Sunday. I paid equivalent of £4.50 which I thought was very reasonable. Must do if visiting Ubud.

A Balinese cultural extravaganza! Exceeded expectations. Colourful, immersive and impressive. The male choir’s voices resonate and the costume’s impressed.

Good show and culture experience. Tickets are genuinely sold around the Ubud palace. Includes a short taxi lift to the destination. Will need a private taxi back. The audience was full.

Got a ticket from a lady on the street, don't worry the resellers are legit :) Arrived 30 min early so we got pretty good seats (higher up facing the stairs). The performance is pretty neat, but it does help to read the summary that's on the ticket. Just remember that at the end, the monkey king triumphs ;) (not a spoiler!). It looks like men characters are played by women actors, for us it was little harder to follow at the beginning. The fire dance portion is about 5 minutes right at the end, so don't leave early if you want to see it! Overall for us it was something rather unique to see in Bali, and we'd recommend finding time to witness such a show (they happen almost every night, but it could be at other temples).

Great show. More intimate than the Kecak dance at Uluwatu temple I attended. This allowed you to see everything up close. Worth seeing. Especially if you want to learn more about balinese culture.
