Vivanta Vadodara is overall a very good hotel if you are travelling for leisure or work. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Kids had fun with the pet rabits etc, pool was fun. Staff was always helpful and quiet courteous Overall a good package i would say.

Had a pleasant stay of two days. My sister and I had a memorable stay on July 14 & 15. Rooms were very clean. The staff is very polite, helpful and prompt in service. Quiet, lushgreen and peaceful ambience at the back side of dining hall. The food was very tasty and full of wide variety. The staff is keen to serve you. Specially the Chef Tanaji. Thanks to the manager Neelima. They won our hearts.

I stayed this hotel for 3 night, everything good but: 1:The bathroom features a fixed shower head and lacks a dedicated wet and dry zone. 2: Wifi signal is not stable, but staff fixed it soon after reporting the issue

Staff was also very very professional and the food. Yummy and tasty breakfast with a wide variety and the chefs are eager to get things of your choice. Great reception and also super fast checkout. Loved it.

My recent stay at the Taj reinforced why this group consistently sets the standard for excellence. Although the rooms show some signs of age, they are impeccably maintained—spotlessly clean and well cared for, reflecting the brand’s enduring commitment to quality and comfort. What truly distinguished my visit was the service. I want to especially recognize Mr. Ashish Punetha for his outstanding hospitality. Though my initial request for early check-in couldn’t be accommodated at reception, Mr. Punetha listened to my concern with utmost patience and genuinely went out of his way to help. He handled my early check-in request efficiently, demonstrating a level of care and attentiveness that went well beyond standard procedures. It’s gestures like these that make a stay at the Taj feel truly special. The on-site restaurant, Mynt, also deserves mention for its exceptional cuisine. Every meal was a delight, and the dining staff were warm and attentive. Overall, my experience at the Taj was memorable, thanks to the immaculate surroundings and the personal, thoughtful service. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a comfortable stay with top-notch hospitality.

My personal take - I chose Vivanta for my business trip considering it a 5 star but not satisfied at all by room. Room had a light cigarette smoke smell and despite housekeeping staff accepted the same, surprisingly did nothing to improve except room spray. Washroom looks age old and room had a termite infestation which very surprisingly missed by such a service heavy housekeeping. Nonetheless stay could have been better at a more recently built any hotel in vadodara. Food taste good and portion size is also enough but again service needs a definite inprovement. I ordered something else and they served something else. Did not expect such mistakes from a 5 star accomodation.

I had a memorable stay in Vivanta Vadodara with my wife from 15th to 19th July. Room was very good and everything was spick and span. I would like to mention the great personalised breakfast ejoyed due to the attention of Chef Tanaji & Manager Neelima.

The management is money hungry and if you make a mistake in booking and get charged for it, forget about getting any money back from them. I messed up on the check in date and I requested them and showed them all sorts of proof that it was an honest mistake. They did not budge and charged a full day stay for no-show. Again, I did not stay there - did not use any of their services - but paid the full price. Absolutely ridiculous. I am a Gold Elite member with Marriott but that made no difference at all. I have written a complaint to the Marriott Bonvoy customer care. Lets see if that helps at all. I am absolutely disappointed. Coming to the rooms and other amenities - They are all good, but not worth the rate they charge per night. I think I will try Hyatt next time.

I went to a family dinner, and I was utterly disappointed. The food was below average, and the mocktails were either too sweet or too salty. I regret choosing this place for our gathering, I've had much better meals at other restaurants. To make matters worse, the cleanliness was unacceptable.s unacceptable.

Very small and congested ! Rooms are very average - poor mattress, no alternate options of hard mattress, no proper place to sit and work, ergonomics of sofa, bed and table extremely poor. In-room dining experience was terrible - the Club Sandwich was cold and was served with a single use sachet of ketchup, the kind you get on the roadside food stalls. The amenities and supplies in the room were pretty average and not user friendly. Restaurant for breakfast was, well 'just okay'. Overall - avoidable hotel.

Went to 812 CE restaurant for lunch. Overall a good place but this time we had stones in food. Had a huge pebble sized stone in Dahi Kababs and a smaller one in rice. Courtyard needs to pay attention on the quality now.

Very disappointing experience. Despite requesting water multiple times over a span of 2 hours, it was never provided. At 10:15 I called reception to place a food order before the 10:30 closing time. I was told they would call me back, but when I followed up at 10:45, I was informed that the kitchen was already closed. This level of service is unacceptable and reflects very poor hospitality.

Good, well kept hotel, clean rooms. Service is okay. Need to keep a watch on minor repairs and maintenance. The soap dispenser in the common washroom for instance, was not refilled in spite of repeated reminders, the lift fans not working, door card not operating, etc. Food quality is good. Excellent location for tourists as well as business visits and shopping. Overall good & reasonably priced.

The room was full of hard smell and also the Bed & Bedsheets were smelling like no one has been using this hotel for a long time. Every electric equipment creating noise even I crewed the bed side lamp bulbs that were not properly fixed and not in running condition.TV remotes are not working properly.If some one is closing the door of another room it will feel like you are closing your room door. That much noise will come from outside of the room. The chair cover was completely torn from the bottom, it was like I'm in any 90 year old dharmashala. Hello, I am writing this honest review about the services here in Best Western (ALKAPURI Vadodara), staff is very rude they don’t listen to customer problem instead of listening to the customer they give us the answer in a chapri type people and if I ask there name they say wrong name that’s why I clicked his photograph and post it here Previously I stayed here that time also I faced a lot but I have chosen once again because of the location I asked them to cut down fruits and make a juice they denied that it’s harmful for there kitchen Then I asked them give me a watermelon juice and add these fruits into that they said okay now these fruits are not harmful for there kitchens because I have paid ₹105 for one small glass of watermelon juice Next day I asked them to cut pomegranate for me they denied that it’s harmful sir It’s fruits guys not a poison I recommend you all not to book this hotel Not only that breakfast in the morning it’s like oh god same items every day nothing new And I reporting his photograph as he misbehave with me

I beleive this restaurant is getting oil supply free as oil is used extensively in all the dishes even if its not required. Have anyone ever seen oil in dosa stiffing & vegetable oil in salad ??? Pls visit & you will see ample.

Great location, good rooms, polite and courteous staff. Room service was below average. We opted for complimentary breakfast but there was no buffet system. They had a separate menu for complimentary breakfast from which you can choose 1 dish + 1 drink per person. That food tasted below average. We recommend to order food from delivery apps instead of getting it from the hotel. Apart from the food option, everything else was great and we really enjoyed our 3 days stay at this hotel.

Near to Baroda railway station with a walk of just 5 to 10 minutes. Rooms clean and neat and very big with a Balcony for every room which is rare nowadays for any Hotel. Bathrooms clean. If u r a business traveler don't forget to carry ur dental kit, as they don't provide dental kits. There is No Restaurant n Hotel. But u can order food and they serve for u. staff average Breakfast is served inside the room.. Sayaji Garden, biggest Garden n Baroda is also nearby There is a sweet shop at basement which is very famous in entire Baroda and sweets here are very tasty. Even if u don't stay n this hotel, don't forget to buy sweets from here. Overall very good Hotel with value for money as the rates here are very cheap as compared to other hotels around and service is excellent

We recently traveled there and booked this hotel. To our surprise, they insisted that my name must appear on my wife's ID as 'Daya Jethalal Gada.' We’ve never encountered such a bizarre rule anywhere else. To make matters worse, they even demanded our marriage photo along with the marriage certificate. It felt incredibly humiliating and degrading. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this hotel with such outdated and intrusive policies.

This hotel has a good spacious rooms We checked in the room with three beds and separate sofa area for drinking or even taking meeting . The only thing this hotel needs to take care is washroom cleanliness. A little more cleanliness. Lesser use of room fresher at one point the room freshner was irritating and cause irritation in eyes .

It looks like big hotel in picture. There are hardly 10 rooms available. Rooms are very small, not clean at all. Corridor and room were smelling bad. No one was in the hotel to stay. I don't know how this hotel 4+ rating. It will be the worst decision to go there. Please do not plan for a family stay. With friends it is acceptable.

recently visited Sayaji for kebabsvilla with my mother and the experience was extremely disappointing. The meat and chicken were undercooked, and even the marination was not properly done. On top of that, the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. The staff had no sense of proper service—starters were not served in order, and main courses arrived alongside them. Despite repeatedly requesting the food to be served slowly, they kept rushing dishes to the table, leaving everything lying there and getting cold. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, especially after spending ₹2,500 for just two people. In comparison, BBQ Nation provides far better quality, service, and value for money.

I’ve never seen such a pathetic Sayaji before… They didn’t allow me for checkin first extended my room for 2 hours, and when I was lying slightly tilted on the sofa, the staff came and told me to sit properly even though there was no one else around, and I was fully covered in decent clothes. I was extremely tired. After checking in, I saw the bedsheet was so dirty, it smelled like oil. From the beginning, the receptionist was making faces while talking. Then, when my friends came to visit me, she followed us upstairs and said, “Guests are not allowed.” I mean, what kind of mentality is that? If someone has come from outside, can’t they meet their guests? lol im not 18 year old kid People choose 5-star hotels so they don’t have to deal with such issues. But I felt like I was being followed around like a school teacher trailing a student. I always choose Sayaji in every city I travel to, but this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this.

Old hotel withstood test of times and also new extension for rooms making it contemporary. 2 restaurants..one Indian and one multi cuisine. Staff is very polite and we'll trained.

I felt cheated when the hotel charged ten times the Uber fare for a 20-minute journey, and in the dirtiest car we used all week. Needless to say, we did not arrange any further transport through the hotel. Both restaurants were very good. However, the room and facilities are quite tired. The basement rooms were very damp, with a bad smell, and one of our party even had to share their room with a rat. As staff were unable to catch it, a room change was offered. All in all, a poorly maintained 4-star property.

At Breakfast Bishwadev, Chef Gajanan, and Chandermohan were all super welcoming and attended to all my food requests Jalal in the front lobby was extremely kind as well! We came across this property on our search for pet friendly stays in Baroda and it truly is one. These are covid times and we stayed here for a night on our way to Delhi with our pet and we so wished we had more time to enjoy the hospitality of Mr and Mrs Gaikwad. They have opened their house and hearts in this beautifully restored property and were very welcoming. All the sanitization processes were being followed and sanitizers and masks were also kept in the rooms. We were overwhelmed with their hospitality and felt we were home and they being pet lovers themselves ensured our pets comfort as well. To add to it Mrs Gaikwad is an amazing cook and the food was so homely and delicious. Its a perfect stop for weary tourist or even for a long stay to enjoy the history of Baroda and i would recommend it and looking forward for a longer at better times .

No proper equipment and swimming pool. Swimming pool started at 1:00 PM with not clear water (fungu in water ). I think thay use boring water to fill swimming pool. Management team told me that I am not given to you invitation card to visit the place. We got this type of valuable response from the management think before go this place.

Nice place to visit a one day picnic, the swimming pool is also big and clean. Greenary within property is giving a perfect atmosphere for family and friends, they also have facilities to arrange marriage functions.

Special for Holi festival when I was attended their for Holi festival, I saw mismanagement and mentioned some facilities in event card but not provided proper facilities (Like No changing room, No locker etc... Don't ! Waste your money

It's 40min journey from vadodara we went for Holi carnival it was quite good big pool rainwater dj splash colours not aware how it will be as resort...washrooms were dirty no cleaning...may be because of Holi celebration... Will suggest to everyone if ever they have Holi party or carnival i will surely recommend... Arrangements were good...

Its an average 1 star restaurant. Basic hygiene was available, plus point is its near Vadodara railway station. They have 24 hours check in system if u book directly from them however if u book online its 12 hours check in. If u still want adjustments they try it from their end. Staff was well behaved. About food I am not sure as we were most of the time out. Around the hotel u can find restaurants anyways. Plz hit like for my review if it sounds helpful

Pathetic condition. This is not a hotel, its a loadge only. It may be cheap but, avoid this hotel in any condition. Very old building and rooms, no food service or even bottled water. The building is a commercial space where this rooms are running. If u r arriving late night or early morning and want fud, you sh wait nearby restaurent to open and walk to the restaurnt. The bathroom have big windows like an office with out curtains or frosted glass or any kind of blinding. The entiere railway station can watch in to ur bathroom. Not at all recommended for family stay or even solo stay. The receptionist is a nice guy and helpful. But u can find other options near by

Nice budget hotel near railway station for people looking to refresh or rest for a day or two. Cons include unavailability of room service. They can bring you some available food from nearby restaurant but you've to tell that at reception which is a little inconvenient sometime. Flush not working properly. Good and supportive staff. Only other con for staying here is the elevator as there's only one which can take only 5 people at a time and there's 8 floors! So you've to wait for a couple of rounds before it's your turn to go up or down.

I and my guests stayed there for 2 nights.. Owner and the staff there was not cooperative at all .Even after finalising rates they charged extra and even they asked money from my guests.. Very unprofessional behaviour of FD agent/ owner, first they quoted different price but when you go for checkin they deceive and ask you to pay higher amount. This hotel is for a couple hotel like oyo. It is a very safe and good hotel but it is situated on Vadodara mumbai expressway which is a problem with this hotel. The location is not good and no parking area is there. Nearby a dirty river is also flowing which can cause many diseases.
