1Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino

Resort hotel
Dreams Curacao Resort Spa & Casino is a luxurious and high-end hotel located in Willemstad on the island of Curacao. The resort offers guests a casino, two beaches, dining, a spa and dive center. It also features child care and free WiFi throughout the property.
There were always activities to do here, along with the pools, the beach, the gym to keep things fit after all the food and drinks. You can also book (at a cost) tours to explore the island further, or a relaxing spa session. The front desk staff were really helpful in answering our questions. There was bottled water, soft drinks, and beer available in the room. Only downside to staying here is that the AC in the room were not sufficiently cooling the room.
Kamille D — Google review
This all-inclusive hotel was the worst I’ve stayed at, despite having visited over 100 countries. The room was dated, the AC barely worked, and the TV never functioned. The hotel’s cleanliness was also questionable, with plates left in the hallways at midnight and our own not picked up when we left them out at 2 p.m. we even killed a roach that was crawling out from another plate. We barely ate at the hotel as the restaurants in downtown were much better. Despite having all-inclusive in our room rate, we opted for dinner in various downtown restaurants (Kome, Bistro 91, BKLYN) during our 3-night stay. Pretty much everyone guest we spoke to agreed that the food here was subpar. The room service breakfast looked sad and disappointing, so it’s best to have breakfast at the buffet. We picked this hotel to stay in the same complex with friends who received a voucher to return to Il Mare after their reservation was messed up last year. Il Mare had serene pods and a beautiful view, but my friends didn’t receive breakfast room service for two out of three stays. The 24-hour room service menu doesn’t exist, and the wait time for simple items like juice and ice cream could be up to an hour. For the steep price, you will totally regret it. If you’re considering this hotel, save your money and stay downtown to enjoy Curaçao’s true culinary beauty.
Cindy W — Google review
5 out of 5 for the location. Only 15 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown shopping. Also rates a 5 out of 5 for the pool and private beach which is great if you have small children and world class snorkeling and diving just off the hotels private docks. All inclusive food menu’s are what you would expect. The World Cafe is where we returned to after trying all the other dinner restaurants. The grilled chicken thighs were worth going back for seconds. The 3 star rating overall is due to the lack of air conditioning. The first 2 days here we had a room that couldn’t cool below 78 degrees. After management confirmed that we had a broken unit, we were relocated to a new room with an ocean view. The fan blower motor in this room functioned, however, even with the 2 extra fans the staff provided, this room also could not cool below 78 degrees. The temperature of the air coming out of the “air conditioner” was 76 degrees and the room temperature at 12am - 4am reached 78 degrees at its coolest point. After I insisted that the manager come to the room to see for himself, (I wanted to make sure I wasn’t imagining things), he did confirm that this room’s AC was also not up to par. He told me that the chiller for the entire hotel was being repaired but (after reading previous reviews from years past) I can’t help but think that is their go-to script to get customers to simply deal with the conditions as they are. I’m a creature of habit and I will typically return to places where I had an acceptable experience but I cannot recommend this hotel because I am not convinced that the rooms actually have air conditioning. I will return to Curaçao but without hard evidence of functioning HVAC, we will have to take our chances with a different resort next time.
Aaron H — Google review
As an avid traveler, I am appalled by the terrible service my group experienced on this trip. We visited for my birthday and did not feel the celebration was worth it. The AC went out, the hotel did not address the issue which led to moldy smelling rooms. I paid for preferred but received no perks. The food is less than mediocre (i.e., salty, cold, and less options), the food presentation is bad, and the food service was slow. The drinks are bad. Meanwhile, the amenities were not clean. Towels were not available at the pool most days. Dinner lines were long. I do not recommend this place. It is far from a 5 star. The scenery is beautiful but that is about all I can say nicely about this location.
Ashley B — Google review
We stayed at Dreams Curaçao from Oct 29 – Nov 3. This review focuses on areas within the property’s control, with the hope that management will take the feedback seriously. We’ve stayed at several Dreams/Secrets properties, so I’m speaking from experience with the brand’s usual standards. Food & Beverage: The dining program needs major attention. While there seem to be many restaurants, they operate on a rotating schedule. From a budget view that makes sense, but operationally it creates long waits, overcrowding, and pressure on room service. The result is rushed guest experiences and understandably frustrated staff. The team members themselves were great—it’s the system that’s broken. Food quality also varied night to night. Stronger executive-chef oversight and consistent brand standards would go a long way. Guests shouldn’t be able to taste the churn-and-burn. Accommodations: This is the biggest issue. The HVAC system is wholly inadequate. Our room and many others were uncomfortably hot and humid; the “fix” was an oscillating fan. A long-term investment in proper HVAC and ceiling fans is needed. It’s costly, but the number of guests saying they won’t return makes it worth it. I even woke up with a heat rash—this affects both comfort and health. Property: The grounds are beautiful but need visible TLC. Pool cabanas are in disrepair, lounge chairs are worn, and the closed Oceana area is cluttered with unused furniture. Reopen it, repurpose it, or clear it—right now it hurts the resort’s look. The men’s restroom in the main lobby was also unkept, with non-flushing urinals and a strong odor—unacceptable for the brand. Customer Service: At other properties, every employee—from the landscapers to the front desk—embodied hospitality and positive energy. That wasn’t consistent here. While cultural differences may shape service delivery, kindness and genuine care are universal in hospitality. Overall: Our stay was a 2 out of 5. I would return if these areas were addressed, but without significant investment I can’t in good faith recommend spending hard-earned money or vacation time here right now. I love the Dreams brand, but this property pulls it down. Message to Hyatt: this resort needs real investment and leadership attention. The potential is here—it just needs the follow-through.

We had an enjoyable stay at Dreams Curaco but certain things could have been better. Upon arrival, they accost you with the dreaded “not a timeshare” presentation offer with incentives like a spa credit. The female staff at the resort are downright rude. From the checkin desk to the wait staff, their attitudes are nothing short of nasty. The male staff were nothing short of personable and accommodating. Housekeeping was also very pleasant. The food at the resort was quite good with a host of options. There never seemed to be enough towels available at the pool. However, we never had a problem finding loungers.
Destiny E — Google review
There are lots of good things about this resort. On the other hand there a some things that could have been better. First I’ll start with the thing that I enjoyed during my stay. The location of the resort is great. With plenty of pool space, and the private beach was great. Beach does appear small in pictures but I never felt crowded at all. The resort does have some type of show each night. My wife and both enjoyed each night’s entertainment. Now for the things I think could be improved on. The room itself was a bit dated. We had an ocean view room that had an incredible view. However the ac in the room wasn’t working well at all. The resort did have a fan in the room that did make it manageable to sleep. With all the thing to do at the resort and the island this didn’t ruin the trip for me. I did run into a few staff that were extremely nice and friendly, but the majority of staff seemed very rude in my opinion. With the casino having the rudest staff on the property. Wife and I went to obtain a card to play slots, the lady behind the counter snatched our money and gave an attitude when we asked for 2 cards so we could play. She then snatched the one card back and tossed us two cards. After this my wife and I each spent $20 and never came back in. They have an app that helps navigate the resort with information on restaurants and entertainment. Some of the information on the app wasn’t up to date. As far as the dining on the resort it was hit or miss. Ocean side was by far the best restaurant in my opinion. Each restaurant has limited options to choose from. The breakfast buffet was down right disgusting, with birds eating off buffet spoons, and bouncing around on the exposed fruit and food. I highly recommend ordering from the menu if you have preferred membership. For the cost of the resort it definitely could use some improvements starting with friendlier staff. I would not recommend this as first choice. The island itself has some of the most beautiful beaches to visit highly recommended visiting curaçao but maybe a different resort.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! This was our first time out of the country, and dreams completely let us down. So many things were wrong with this place. First off, our AC broke and with the climate, the room quickly turned into an oven. When speaking to front desk staff, they basically said “we are out of fans so deal with it.” After sleeping OUTSIDE ON THE BALCONY, we spoke to a manager the next day and they were finally able to get us into a new room. Secondly, the food and room service is just awful. They have three restaurants, which at least one always seemed to be closed. The buffet food was gross, soggy, cold, and on top of this, the birds were just all over the food. Housekeeping missed our room multiple times and didn’t give us new towels. The towel stand by the pool was constantly out of pool towels. Most of the staff, outside of a few, were rude. If you aren’t one of their “preferred members” good luck, but I would recommend booking someone else on this beautiful island.

ABC Resort Curacao, situated in Willemstad, offers a convenient location near attractions like Hato Caves and Blue Bay. The aparthotel provides various amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and a terrace with garden views. Guests can relax at the bar/lounge or poolside bar after a day of activities like scuba diving and hiking. The modern rooms with kitchen facilities offer comfort and convenience.
We had an amazing time at ABC Resort! The apartments are beautiful – simple, but modern and spacious and everyone has their own patio. What makes this stay truly special are the people who work there. They are incredibly friendly and helpful, and no request is ever too much. They are always ready with a solution or an answer. Their attention to their guests is exceptional; they check in often to ensure everything is ok and to see if there’s anything they can assist with. Additionally, they organize fun activities specifically for their guests, making the stay even more enjoyable. The service is truly top-level, which is rare to find these days. We can’t wait to come back.

A Tropical Paradise at ABC Resorts Curaçao ABC Resorts Curaçao provided an exceptional vacation experience, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The accommodations were nothing short of excellent, boasting spacious layouts, stylish décor, and all the amenities one could desire. The resort's facilities were equally impressive, with two sparkling pools providing a refreshing escape from the Caribbean sun. The convenient location, just a short drive from the airport and close to stunning beaches, allowed us to easily explore the island's wonders. What truly sets ABC Resorts apart is the impeccable service. The staff's attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile ensured that every need was met with a smile. We wholeheartedly recommend ABC Resorts to anyone looking for a taste of paradise in Curaçao.

Excellent ressort, high quality. Very good compare ratio price/quality. very good location, apartments are clean and complete. Very enthousiastic team, very customer orientated. Weekly cleaning is superb. Extras: weekly hike (recommended) and monthly BBQ.
Marcel H — Google review
Excellent 6-night stay at ABC. Location is perfect to explore the northern beaches and close enough to whatever you need in terms of supplies. Service is very responsive and nothing to complain about, although I personally didn’t use things as grocery shopping, car rental or airport pickup. Apartments were comfortable and very clean. A few things could improve to an even better experience: WiFi was spotty with poor connectivity in a few places inside the apartment; a microwave and a dishwasher would be nice additions to the kitchen; maybe AC being also available in the main room?
Henrique S — Google review
Had such a great 9-day stay! Celebrated the Holidays in Curaçao & stayed at this wonderful "aparthotel." It had all the kitchen amenities needed to prepare our meals, a spacious rain-shower bathroom, a lovely patio to have our morning coffee, a beautiful pool right across from our patio, & just the friendliest & most charming hosts- who even threw their guests a New Year's Eve brunch! Can't wait to return!

Abc resort was amazing, very safe loved that you could park inside the complex.

Abc apartments is an amazing spot to be. The first and most important thing for me is customer service. Was on point. We arrived a little early, so we went groceries shopping that was close by. I loved the apartment. Very beautiful and modern. I had a pool view. They have little hammocks around the pool area and tables in front of your apartment. You have your own porch if you want to eat outside. You also have your parking spot. One head up they do have different voltage 220, but they had a plug for us to use. If your 210.

We recently had the incredible opportunity to spend our holiday at the ABC Resort Curacao, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience that we're excited to share. First and foremost, we must give a huge thanks to Rowie and Mireille. Their amazing energy, friendliness, and helpfulness were simply outstanding. They played a significant role in making our stay memorable, especially as we prepared for our wedding day. The resort provided the perfect setting for getting ready, taking our first photos with the photographer, and experiencing that magical 'First Look' moment. 📸💍 The resort itself is a true paradise. The housekeeping team, led by an exceptionally polite housemaster, kept everything spotless. We found the room pricing fair, and the sizes perfect for our needs. 👌 The pools were absolutely stunning and meticulously maintained - a real highlight of our stay! We did find ourselves a bit unsure about the pool bar's opening hours, but this was a minor point in an otherwise flawless experience. 🏊‍♂️🍹 One of the great conveniences at the resort was the ability to rent cars directly from the premises, making our exploration of the island seamless and enjoyable. 🚗 The resort is securely surrounded by a wall with an automatic gate, ensuring our safety and peace of mind. Its central location on the island, right on the edge of the capital, was perfect. We were just a few minutes from the downtown area and equally close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. 🌊🌴 Each lodge comes with a small, private terrace, which was hardly visible to others and provided a perfect, intimate spot for our breakfasts. 🍳🌺 And for a touch of nature, we loved watching the iguanas roaming around the property, and occasionally, one of the resort's cats would come by to say hello. It added a lovely, homely feel to our stay. 🦎😺 We wholeheartedly recommend ABC Resort Curacao and eagerly look forward to our next visit. The warmth and hospitality we experienced here made our stay truly unforgettable. 😃🌴

Peaceful, serene, and very clean hotel with international guests. Rooms are decadently cared for with soft beds, pillows, and linen. Rooms are equipped with microwave and fridge, coffee makers, irons, and other necessities. Some rooms even have their own kitchenette. The perfectly decorated rooms are neat and clean and smell good! Inviting pool with sunbeds make the centerpiece of a beautiful pool lounge area, lit with cozy evening lights for the perfect tropical vacation ambience. Relax in a comfortable hammock and enjoy the wifi.

I had a very wonderful stay at Adonai. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. It felt more like staying at family and I did not want to leave. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. There is a living room in the lobby to watch TV together and there is a big kitchen. The breakfast area is nice and big. And the breakfast was very good. It was also possible to rent a car. It was a very quick and easy proces for me and I got a nice VW up. Also the location of Jan Thiel is very good (especially for Dutch travelers since a AlbertHein like store is close by). The beach is a 13 minute walk away. The bars and restaurants at Jan Thiel can be quite expensive. So I would recommend to rent a car at the hotel and head out to Willemstad.

Adonai is a tremendous place to stay for vacation. It has a very nice view from the hill where located. Nearby the beach. The place is nice and clean. The service is outstanding, not to mention the breakfast. It's very distinctive. You will not get a breakfast like this in any other hotel. Every day something else and according to the season. And delicious. All in all, it has been an awesome vacation at Adonai Hotel Boutique. I will recommend everyone to choose for Adonai to spend their vacation.

Nestled in the scenic area of Willemstad, the Curacao Airport Hotel is an informal yet inviting spot for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. Just a stone's throw from Curacao International Airport, this hotel boasts a prime location with stunning views of the landing strip while still being enveloped by nature. With 41 well-equipped guest rooms featuring modern amenities like air conditioning and flat-screen TVs, guests can unwind after their travels.
Again great place to stay. This time I had free continental breakfast included. But you have to pay for coffy and eggs. I had a cooling fridge. Ask about it and they changed it to a real cold fridge. So always ask at the reception. The hotel is under going some construction. Bare with them because they keep on upgrading the hotel. The TV mount in the room is too high. But who has time to watch tv nowadays. Great and cheap place to stay close to the airport.
Ethuriel N — Google review
I would give a 5 star review to this hotel for the SERVICE, because everybody was so nice, EXCEPT a guy that was keeping the door of the CASINO (03.13.25 at 4:05 pm). My husband and I were trying to get directions to go to the swimming pool, and when trying to ask we did it at the same time....WELL , what we have done?? this guy responded back to us in the most RUDE manner saying who was talking, and that we needed to talk one at the time, but with a TONE that was just GROSS. NOT sure if he did it because we looked LATINOS, and discriminate against us. It is our first time in this hotel, so we were not familiar with this place, and this guy woke up thinking that he needed to reprimand some guests from the AIRPORT HOTEL IN CURACAO, so there we were. Honestly, I hope the Hotel pay close attention to this employee because he is not a good worker, and should receive training, so he can treat others the same way he would like to be treated.
Sandra P — Google review
We were forced into this hotel after our flight was cancelled. From the moment we arrived, everything was wrong. No information, no help, no hospitality. When we tried to move to a different hotel – as offered by the airline – the front desk blatantly lied to us and said it wasn’t possible. That was a complete lie. They just wanted to keep us there and squeeze every last dollar out of us. The room was a nightmare: no windows, no fresh air, no natural light. It felt worse than a prison cell. You feel trapped, unsafe, and deeply uncomfortable. This place is the opposite of a restful stay. Food was NOT included, even though it was supposed to be. We had to pay for everything ourselves – at ridiculously high prices. Every bill came with hidden charges, 20% added for tax and a so-called “service” that was absolutely terrible. It's pure exploitation. Bottom line: The reception staff intentionally deceived us. This place is not a hotel – it’s a scam. Unsafe, dishonest, overpriced, and completely disrespectful toward guests. Avoid at all costs. It doesn’t deserve even a single star.
Malio B — Google review
If you think of this place as an airport motel, then you won't be disappointed. The towels and sheets were clean and the room was spacious which in my view are the most important things for an overnight stay. The view of the runway is OK from either a room with a balcony or if you head down to the restaurant. The pool area looks nice for relaxing, but I didn't use the pool. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful from the time I booked my stay on booking.com to the time I checked out to head back to the airport. Communication was great and I had no issues at check-in or checkout.
Tricia C — Google review
Is 3 minutes away walking from the airport, which is really clean, food ( chicken soup and margaritas pizza , lemonade) was fresh and taste but to experience $42.59. Most of the employees were nice , the restaurant area has a nice breeze , bar and a relaxing pool. My room had mold, that it was hard for me to breathe, AC works very well, the shower was with amazing water power. Towels are very white. Bed king size, clean with white sheets and nice pillows. Price for nigth $86. Shuttle: $ 10 each way airport/ hotel / airport = $20 We were charged by person it wasn't a family group. In general, it is a really convenient hotel if you are going to use it for layout, and I have to say that some people said, " it looks like they are repeating
Eglee G — Google review
The people were friendly, I would say the pictures that I saw before going were a stretch of what is there. The restaurant looked like it was not operational and the pool was not well maintained. This property really needs some upgrades to meet the standards portrayed in the pictures. There isn’t a complementary airport transfer but you can ask the hotel to organize it for $10USD each way.

The bathroom was very contemporary with full sized shampoos and lots of hot water! The room had great AC and a ceiling fan! The breakfasts were excellent and slightly different each day. The common areas of the hotel were wonderful too! With coffee and tea always available for free on the patio! The music playing there was always just right too! Like a little coffee shop within the hotel! The hotel was just outside of the center, but close enough that I walked everywhere I wanted to go! Petra and her staff made me feel more like a visiting dignitary than a tourist! It was a Perfect Stay!

Thank you Roger for making our stay in curacao so pleasant. This hotel is highly recommended. The location is great if you want to explore the downtown Willemstad. Only 5-10 minutes walking to the floating market for example. Breakfast was included and it was a nice surprise to have the coffee machine and water available the whole day, this really makes a difference. Our room was very comfortable, AC worked very well and the hotel bathrobes were included which also was a super handy addition. Thank you and hope to come back soon again!

Needed a place to stay for one night in Curaçao and this place was ideal! Provided a shuttle service from the airport and also to our other weekly stay. Where transportation is tough to get, this was a nice extra service. Hotel is nicely located in walking distance of the ocean and nice restaurants. Took care of our dinner reservation at a great local restaurant-Kome which was awesome. Comfortable rooms, nice decor and a very enjoyable light breakfast and coffee. Follow-up emails and service were very attentive to our needs. Recommended place for all couple!

Edited to add details. No one is ever required to use their legal name on Google. We did indeed stay at Villa Amalie in December. We did not enjoy repetitive breakfast. It's also ridiculous that it's only served during 8-9 am, one hour quite early in the morning, so after trying it we just skipped the rest of the days. The room wasn't very clean. Not the best area to stay at either, walking to center takes a bit of time. Did not like the lock system, three different keys to get to your room. The bathroom across the hall sucked, no warm water was even worse. We didn't like communication with owners. They repeatedly and consistently spoke of many rules on the property and we felt lectured for our own money. Overall not worth the money. Do not recommend.

We had an great time during our stay at Villa Amalie. Hotel is perfectly located for seeing the majority of Willemstad by foot. Owner and staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The 24 hour coffee bar kept us going throughout many long days exploring Curacao. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into villa amalie and we will stay there again next time we visit Curacao.

Royer and Paul are super nice, friendly, attentive, and professional hosts. They build this very charming hotel stay in Willemstad with passion. Its a very homey place including a cuddly dog named Irene. We felt at home immediately. Location is good: 14m Emma Bridge, 10m to Nieuwestraat (nice restaurants and nightlife) Beds are nice and very soft, we slept tight. Also, there is a smart tv including netflix (and others) provided, nice to have! You should be aware that the room is very tiny, we needed to be creative and flexible with the space that we had while having 3 suitcases. The breakfast is pretty basic, but they use good products which we liked. Also, there is tasty decent coffee available 24/7 The hotel provides other convenient services including taxi at a fair price. You just gotta text them and they will pick you up. At arrival, We got 4 tickets from their home-base-pool Saint Tropez (free of charge!), a very chique and trendy place with a romantic infinity pool. How luxury. We definitely recommend people to visit this place if you’re in the mood for an upscale beach club. Royer and Paul, thank you for this great experience!! See you later

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Villa Amalie and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained, making for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our room was equipped with a coffee machine, which was a great touch and really added to the comfort of our stay. The guests of Villa Amalie also get access to the stunning infinity pool located at the Saint Tropez in Pietermaai, which was an absolute treat. The pool provided a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. The two owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. I also have to mention the delicious breakfast, that was included with our stay. Every morning we were greeted with a beautifully arranged table and the owner himself brought us breakfast. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests really set them apart from other hotels we’ve stayed at. And of course, the location of the hotel is perfect. Situated in a quiet and picturesque area, it's just a short walk from some of the city's best restaurants, cafes, and attractions like Queen Emma Bridge. Overall, I give the Hotel Villa Amalie a five-star rating without hesitation. It's the perfect choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a beautiful location, with exceptional service. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino is an upscale all-inclusive beachfront retreat featuring 341 rooms and suites with private terraces and balconies offering breathtaking views of the Caribbean waters. Situated adjacent to Mambo Beach and the Curacao Seaquarium, it provides easy access to popular tourist destinations. The resort offers Unlimited-Fun amenities including 5 restaurants, 4 bars, a spa, and 3 outdoor pools.
My family of 4 (kids 3 and 5) had a great time at this resort. Our expectations weren’t super high since it was so affordable but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was fantastic and the kids club staff was very good with our boys. They had fun activities throughout the day for families and we were able to drop them off and enjoy some adult time in the afternoons. The beach was one of the best we’ve been to and we had a room right on the beach. FANTASTIC! We’ve been to several resorts in the Caribbean and I would not call this a 5-star resort, but for the price and options for kids, it was perfect for us. The casino was actually really fun too! The restaurants were not the best…hibachi was good, Italian was decent, the drill was actually really tasty, but the buffet was a little rough for anyone with picky taste. Overall it was a small and manageable resort with great snorkeling, a friendly staff, and a beautiful setting. We also loved that the aquarium was a short walk away and was a huge highlight for our family. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

I am not sure if the positive reviews are fake or possibly from people who work there, but in no way is this a 3,4 or 5 star resort. People in our group that stayed in the Tower had no AC and electrical issues. I stayed in the 8000 building, which had AC but had so many other issues. Lights didn't work, TV was off the wall and didn't work then shocked me when plugging it in, missing shower door panel which flooded the bathroom when using, door wouldn't close unless slammed shut making the handle loose and cracking the trim, closet doors would not slide, old and not maintained room overall. I reported all these things to staff and will guarantee someone is staying in my room with the same problems. The buffet was identical each day and below average. The Oceana served a better breakfast but there are literally pigeons fighting for your food. Literally pigeons on your table trying to get food. Staff was annoyed by any request except for the nice woman at the cafe. The bartenders would rather be somewhere else, even with constantly giving tips and saying hello and thank you. If you have been to any other all-inclusive resorts, you will see how bad this resort is. The only positive is you are next door to Mambo beach and can eat a good meal and entertainment there. Please avoid this place and spend extra money somewhere else.

Visited this resort for a spa day while a friend was staying there, and we got to check the place out a bit. It’s got a great beach, tons of activities, and that classic all-inclusive vibe, kind of reminded me of some resorts in Mexico. Definitely more family-focused and laid-back, not flashy like a Sandals. The room we saw (two doubles) was pretty small, and the balcony could use a refresh. Plus, there was a weird smell that was hard to ignore. On the upside, the spa was really cozy and the massage therapist was excellent. Overall? Not luxury, but a solid pick if you're looking for something affordable, relaxed, and family-friendly.

You can't beat the location. The staff is amazing, especially Judy. She always said hi. The lady in the coffee shop was also very friendly. The bar tenders remembered us and knew what we were drinking. The rooms were very small and some on the ground floor had some water leaking overnight. The food was good but not great. But you couldn't beat the beaches, pool and the beautiful sunsets.

We checked in and about an hour and a half later we were in the sun club looking to go to another resort. First we were on a honeymoon and we were supposed to have a banner and wine since we couldn’t have the honeymoon suite and no banner. I tried to set this up as a surprise to my new wife. I called the front desk and they brought up wine to make up for it. Then we took showers in a shower that’s missing a door. They told us to come by “VIP services” to get set up. It was really nice and helpful until he gets into “this is a 3 star resort but let’s set you up a tour with a 5 star so you know what you could have next time” great thing to hear, VIP services are just people that want to upsell. my wife said “we just got here and we’d like to check stuff out.” We got up and left. We were hungry. We went to a few places and couldn’t find food at this time, no restaurants are open and the buffet is in between lunch and dinner hours. When we did eat throughout the week the food wasn’t great, some stuff is actually pretty terrible. There’s weird periods where you can’t do anything. The casino tables are closed until 8pm, and we found out the dance club, a selling point for my wife, was down and so was another restaurant on site. We said let’s see if we can get out of here. They said come back in the morning to talk it over and we said ok. So we went to the pool things were nice, we’re enjoying the sunset in the pool and here comes an employee saying “hey I need you guys to come out the pool closes at 6.” Are you kidding me? So all the pools and swim up bar closes at 6, which we learned throughout the week the swim up bar is often closed. We tried requesting another hotel the next day and got no where. If we booked another resort even another Hyatt then maybe If I email their accountant they can help me. We said let’s suck it up and stay. We spent extra money to not be here. We spent a lot of time out of our all inclusive resort which is quite sad, but it’s the only way to truly enjoy your stay. For our honeymoon we wanted something special and we passed up the renaissance, which was amazing in Aruba, as well as Sandals because over a year ago this looked better with better reviews but I was really disappointed with everything. I’d spend your money anywhere but here or you’ll spend the same trying to make it worth it.

We had stay by Sunscape for my boyfriend birthday it was amazing. But are room air conditioner was working we had to wait almost 24 hours to get a fan and also by the front desk there was e young lady very rude working with curly hair. Other than that a big shoot out to ms Hilda and Eriela they are the best. Natisha and Crazy G you guys are the best dou for entertainment. Ms Yube she the best room attendent ever. And another big shoot out to ms Nushky she the best bartender in the resort and Eli you are the best chef and entertainment by the japanese restaurant. We will be back for sure

We had an opportunity to stay here for a week with 5 other couples, for 50th anniversary. We all want to make the best of it. Sadly the food is 1980 high school cafeteria. It’s good you ca eat it but not in the top 30% at all. It’s very dated, rooms are large but way too much deferred maintenance. Toilets did not flush, no real cold water but the A/C works but 30% of our group went days with no A/C. We received a great rate to the $300 per night. Check out the resorts and hotels just up the road and you will be blown away with the food shopping and entertainment. I think they really do their best, sadly short for what is asked for you to pay.

Nestled just off the serene shores of Piscadera Bay, Zoëtry Curaçao Resort & Spa is a true haven for travelers seeking relaxation and romance. This all-inclusive boutique resort features 72 beautifully appointed rooms, making it an ideal retreat for couples looking to reconnect. Located conveniently near Willemstad's attractions, including Blue Bay Golf Course and various dive shops, guests can easily explore the vibrant local culture.
This is the perfect resort for those seeking a tranquil vacation. It is kid friendly but caters more to the adults only traveler. Pool is nice and quiet with no kids splish splashing around at least while I was there. Breakfast at Bloom is decent but I'd rather take the golf cart ride over to Dreams area for breakfast. Also, the lunch at Botanica is awesome. I highly recommend.

We were thrilled to spend a few days at this resort, which was marketed as a spa and relaxation destination. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be quite disappointing. On our first night, the reception bar was extremely loud, with people singing and shouting until 1AM. I have never called hotel reception to complain about anything before, but this time I felt I had no choice. The noise from the bar was simple unbearable. I called the reception to express my concerns, and the staff member informed me that the guests were just having fun at the bar. I reminded him that the hotel was advertised as a relaxing place, and I was expecting a peaceful environment at 1AM. He responded with an attitude, saying he would ask them to quiet down. However, the noise continued, and after 15 minutes, I called the reception again but no one answered. The disturbance persisted until 2AM, leaving me very unsettled. The next morning, we went for breakfast only to be told we couldn’t sit outside, and they had run out of avocados for avocado toast that was listed on the menu. Needless to say we went for breakfast at 7:30AM so I wonder how did they already run out of avocados. The following morning at breakfast, we were informed that the oven was broken, and the only option available was a parfait. I have never encountered such poor service at a hotel in my life. The rooms very nice and clean but the service was very poor. We paid a significant amount to stay at this establishment, and it was not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Zoëtry Curaçao Resort and while the staff is absolutely friendly and helpful — especially the lady at the pool bar, who deserves a special mention — the overall experience fell short of expectations for a property in this price range. During breakfast, we had to wait an hour for a simple plain scrambled eggs. The buffet itself was limited, offering just a few cold cuts, some sliced cheese, and an empty tray of smoked salmon that was never replenished, even though we arrived around 9:30 a.m. (with breakfast service running until 11:00 a.m.). A bit of oversight and guidance from a manager would have made a real difference here. We booked a Junior Suite with pool view at a rate of over USD 600 per night for two people. Unfortunately, the bed was not up to standard. The mattress sagged badly on both sides, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. By 3:00 a.m., I had to move to the couch, while my partner stayed in the bed — only to wake up with severe back and neck pain the next morning. We reported this issue to the hotel, but it was merely acknowledged without any solution offered. While the kindness of the staff is a highlight, the lack of leadership, disappointing breakfast experience, and poor mattress quality made our stay far from the level one would expect at this price point.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent, with beautiful scenery all around. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The pool was somewhat dirty, with leaves and debris floating in it. Additionally, the hot tub wasn’t hot—it was about the same temperature as the heated pool, which was disappointing. Housekeeping was below expectations. We arrived to find dirty sheets, trash bags left on the sink, and visible stains on the walls that should have been cleaned. These issues detracted from the overall experience. On a positive note, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We had no complaints about the service. Dyon, Christian, Glenyis, and Mariela were especially outstanding—they worked hard to ensure we had a great time. The food, service, and drinks were all excellent. In summary, I would give our stay four stars—mainly due to the housekeeping issues and the hot tub not functioning properly. Otherwise, it was a great.

I came to celebrate a wedding and my birthday and this stay was a major disappointment. While the rooms and aesthetics at Zoëtry are nice, the service is absolutely HORRIBLE. The food served at the wedding reception was decent but the everyday food is NASTY, tasteless, and extremely limited in options. Although the staff are friendly and pleasant, this resort is severely understaffed and desperately needs a management refresh. I can’t even say that service was hit or miss. It was just a miss! There were multiple times when the front bar had no staff at all. Frustrated guests were literally going behind the bar and serving themselves. We needed fresh towels multiple time throughout the stay and called reception several times and no one answered. When we walked to the front desk, there was no one in the office. Our room wasn’t serviced one day until after 7 PM, and that only happened after multiple calls to the front desk. At Zoëtry there are only two restaurants; one is by the pool and open for lunch and another that’s open for breakfast and dinner. At any given time, in the restaurants, there might be three people working total and they are doing multiple jobs. The host is also serving, and the servers are also cooking. For a resort that is marketed as luxury, the food was awful. Hospital food would have been more enjoyable. Guests also have access to the Dreams property and restaurants, but somehow the food there was even worse. Room service was absolutely disgusting. The cheeseburger was burnt and cold at the same time. The staff overall are extremely lackadaisical, slow, and forgetful. Nothing gets done without multiple reminders. Overall, this resort is not worth the price paid. If you’re visiting Curaçao, do yourself a favor and stay at an Airbnb or a non all inclusive resort.
Jaelin A — Google review
My stay at Zoëtry / Dreams Curacao was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The service was horrendous — no one seemed to know what was going on, and we were constantly given conflicting information about restaurant hours, event times, and closures. Every staff member said something different, and it felt completely unorganized and chaotic. The food was some of the worst I’ve ever had at any resort — bland, poorly prepared, and often cold. It genuinely felt like no one cared about the quality or the guest experience. The property itself feels run-down and neglected, and there’s absolutely nothing to do around the resort. To make things worse, I was told during my stay that I’d be credited one night due to the issues we experienced, only to be told at checkout that they wouldn’t honor it. The lack of communication and accountability was embarrassing. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing trips I’ve ever taken, and I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

DO NOT STAY HERE Although the resort was beautiful, the stay was miserable. The resort had their music playing all night long. LOUD! The speaker was right by our room. The lights from the hall glared into our bedroom making it hard to sleep. The food was TERRIBLE. Half the time it was served cold or raw. The selection was minimal and the times that food was available was scarce. We had to go off resort to find food that was edible. Every time we asked any staff a question it seemed like they never knew the answer or they just didn’t understand. We are simple people, but this food was literally not edible. The pancakes tasted like sanitizer, and everything was served cold. When asking to speak to a manager, they were never available. The front desk gave me an email address that doesn’t work and I can’t get a hold of anybody at Hyatt or the resort. It’s a dead end no matter what I do. This is an all inclusive resort that we barely ate at 3 times our whole stay! Very disappointed in this stay. We paid thousands of dollars to stay here and ended up spending way more than that because we had to go off resort. I would give this zero stars if I could. Started off our vacation really bad. I would definitely not recommend this place for anything other than a good picture opportunity.

Our stay at Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino started with some challenges—but what happened next truly impressed us. After expressing our concerns, Manager Francisco stepped in immediately with kindness and professionalism. He, along with Thomas (regional manager), worked to ensure we were properly taken care of. We were graciously relocated to the beautiful Zoëtry Curaçao, and that’s when our vacation truly began. The accommodations at Zoëtry were serene, luxurious, and exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff at Zoëtry made us feel completely at ease. I also want to recognize Queeny and Eliana at Dreams for their warmth and assistance throughout—it meant a lot during a stressful moment. This is the Hyatt brand I know and trust. When a concern arises, they don’t just fix it—they elevate the experience. We left happy, relaxed, and incredibly grateful for the team who went the extra mile. Thank you again, and we look forward to returning!

Curacao Gardens at Kas di Laman & Hulanda Village is a centrally located hotel in Willemstad, offering easy access to downtown attractions. The Colonial-style hotel features an outdoor pool, terrace, and garden for relaxation. Guests can enjoy dining at Maira's restaurant with a bar/lounge or take advantage of room service. The owner, Eric, is known for his warm hospitality and care for guests' well-being.
My recent stay at Curacao Gardens Hotel was an unforgettable experience that felt like a personal paradise away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the lush, vibrant gardens that surrounded the property. The beautifully manicured landscapes create a tranquil environment, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It's truly a sight to behold, a small slice of paradise that invites you to breathe in nature's beauty. The hotel offers impressive amenities, including free high-speed internet, which made it easy to stay connected during my stay. The pool area is a wonderful spot to chill after a day of exploring, and it beckons you to take a refreshing dip. The hotel's restaurant "maira's kitchen " served delicious meals, providing a delightful taste of local cuisine without having to venture far. One of the aspects that I appreciated the most was the variety of activities available. With bicycle rentals and diving options, there was always something to do for those seeking adventure. Plus, the convenience of having airport transportation made my arrival and departure seamless. As for my house, it was spacious and equipped with everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. The air conditioning was a blessing in the tropical heat, and the seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day. I loved having a kitchenette with a coffee/tea maker for those early mornings, and the walk-in shower was a spa-like feature that added to the overall comfort of my stay. The cable TV options also provided some great entertainment during downtime. With free parking available, it was convenient for me to explore the nearby attractions at my own pace. The BBQ facilities were an added bonus, perfect for those who enjoy a cookout in the scenic gardens. Overall, Curacao Gardens Hotel is a gem that strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a serene getaway in a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

The owner is not a serious person, we reserved a room with a crib but we did a last time reservation so he said the was no crib available that night but that really early in the morning he would deliver one. On the next day when we arrived in the room from the beach and there was no crib and he didn't even mention that he didn't find it.. probably just forgot about it. We complained and he told us he would give a free transfer to the airport. We accept and it was scheduled for 5 am. We wait from 5 to 5:30 and there was nobody there. It was really early in the morning and we had a 6 month baby with us. We tried to call all taxi companies in Curacao and we could find nobody

I recommend this place. Enjoyed the stay here with the rest of my family very much. Fresh and airy appartments in colourful and stylish houses in center of town. Comfortable and quiet bedrooms with AC. Stayed in a well equipped appartment which had both a safe, washingmachine as well as ironingboard and iron. Though quite a busy one way street outside there was no noice at all reaching the bedrooms. The location is within easy walking distance of the old town district, shops and restaurants but has some distance to any major supermarket if you plan on cooking. Parking was easy just outside on the street. There is a neighbouring bar serving food and drinks but the noice level from the bar was hardly noticable during our 4 day stay.

Great place! Lovely people running this authentic place is walking distance to the centre. They also have a cosy restaurant on the other side of the road with very good and reasonable priced food. Airco in the sleeping rooms and ventilators in the apartments are a good way to manage the heat together with open up the classic windows. Don't forget to take mosquito protection with you! We also used their contact for car rental and that worked just great. Handover of the car in front of the hotel is very handy. Thank you guys for all your assistance and making this a great stay! Wish you well and all the best! V.

A beautiful place in the heart of Willemstad. Eric (the owner) is a very warm person who cares about the well-being of his guests. Walking distance to activities and food. We stayed for 9 days, leaving NYE. Often had the beach to ourselves, & choice of palapas, except twice daily snorkelers, & and very occasional sunbathers, that park just outside of security gate then walk around wooden fence. Beach is very rocky/Shelly, and there are larger rocks in the water so GOOD water shoes are a must. For more enjoyment, bring a snorkel mask too. Pool looked clean, tho we didn't use it. Area was mostly quiet except a few weekend evenings, when loud music was coming from the other beach, that's just down the street. Weather was humid, but there was often a nice slight breeze on patio.

Bon Bini ! Just got back from Curacao and staying at this resort was a great bonus. The rooms are CLEAN and well kept. The pool was a great bonus after being out all day in the sun. The fridge was actually really COLD and worked very well. There was a dishwasher but we did not use it. Also laundry in the unit that we did not use. Would I go back there again? You bet. Will I recommend to all that I know? Absolutely. Thanks for a great vacation.

The department was big and had a good balcony, the kitchen included oven and stove, and was well equipped. Was clean and all the furniture was of good quality. Really nice and comfortable. The condo has security at the entrance and was quiet. The pool have good dimensions and the view is really great. The condo don't have a cleaning service for the apartment, neither with extra cost. This can't be arranged by the user alone, so it could be a great addition to the service.

Everything was great from the accommodation to the service to the amenities. Palapa beach resort and marina was the perfect mix of what we wanted for accommodation and within close proximity to restaurants and beaches. We also enjoyed the onsite beach and pool. We had a full kitchen and open concept living area extended to the patio - a great way to relax and enjoy the sounds of Curacao or capture the ocean breeze - I miss it already. I was impressed with the 24hr security who were very welcoming and friendly. The office was also very helpful and available onsite. It was so easy to get in touch with Armand for any questions you may have and he was very responsive to any of your needs. Thank you for making our stay so special. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed there from 28sept-4oct 2022. We were greeted by a friendly host. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Beach needs a good upgrade and a good cleanup and is mostly not kid friendly and very rocky. Best if you have a rental car so because nearest supermarket is. 15min walk from there. Only downside was that i felt that i was overcharged on the electricity bill because i only turned on the ac from 8pm till 6:30 am . And only the day i checked out i left it on till 10am. I only used the washing machine 1time. And i left the room for most of the night returning mostly after 10pm. And they charge you 95$ for cleaning services when you check out.

Such a beautiful place! Palapa has amazing views of the water with a small beach right beside it. You don't even have to leave to have a beach day. Great location as well, only about a mile away from Jan Thiel beach where a ton is always going on (restaurants, bars, beach). The condos are very well kept, spacious and breezy. And the staff - so incredibly helpful and kind! Every single person we've met has been amazing. We highly recommend this place to anyone.

This was the best stay I’ve had in curaçao, air conditioning works great, the pool is relaxing, and I love the view of the ocean. It is also pretty close to the casino some bars and lots of restaurants.

Nice location! I went there to pick up a friend and I had the opportunity to look around the premises. The location is absolutely nice, but the place itself was under renovation, with a lot of work in progress. In general, I didn't like the setup: I believe it's really crowded.

Located on the picturesque Handelskade in Punda, Iguana Café is a popular spot for vacationers to enjoy drinks and snacks. Situated by the Annabaai, it offers a view of cruise and container ships entering the harbor, as well as the iconic floating Queen Emma bridge. The café is known for its lively atmosphere and overlooks the harbor. Additionally, visitors can explore other nearby options such as Dock Bar & Kitchen for affordable yet delicious menu offerings.
Beautiful restaurant by the water, best spot to enjoy Handelskade’s views of the bridge and the pretty storefronts. I ate here on my first night in Curacao and loved the food, service & view so much I was back again tonight. The tempura shrimp is perfection. Marie was wonderful - has the of brightest of smiles, radiates warmth and had lots of great recommendations - she made my experience all the more memorable. 10/10 recommend this spot!

This is a place you go to for the atmosphere and not the food. I sat at a table by the water for a drink after a long travel day. Within 30 minutes I was able to see the bridge swing open and let a huge cargo ship past.

We had some burgers but they tasted like frikandel but they were ok. Only issues was the pigeons. Other to that you have a view of both bridges.

Gets crowded when the cruise boats are in port but great location overlooking the Queen Emma floating bridge on Handelskade. If you have a sweet tooth, try the Pineapple Tropical - piles of ice cream in a half pineapple.

Restaurant
Plein Café Wilhelmina is a charming family-friendly restaurant situated in the heart of the historic Willemstad district. It's conveniently located at the main square in Punda and offers a delightful outdoor seating area. The menu features a variety of options, including tasty snacks like fries with mayo or a veggie burger, as well as enticing main courses such as the Maxima, Wilhelmina, or Beatrix.
Its nice restaurant ar Willemstad, Curaçao. Inside downtown, near many shops, governments institutions, easy to access. Menu is tasteful with many options. Service is very fast. Good environment to have a sit and have hour meal watching the city movement.

The restaurant located in the heart of downtown in Willemstad, really good location with a happy and fast staff. Tried the Willem-Alexander schnitzel, the portion was big enough Average prices compared to other restaurants in the area At night there’s normally live music on the streets
Roland V — Google review
I travel to Curaçao frequently and have visited Plein Café countless times. Unfortunately, the experience continues to be inconsistent. Tonight’s visit was especially disappointing. I ordered the wings and a Caesar salad with add-ons. The wings were dry and tasted like they had been refried. The “Caesar” salad was made with iceberg lettuce, day-old tomatoes, and a bland dressing that lacked the flavor expected in a proper Caesar. It felt more like a basic side salad with bottled dressing than a true menu item. To make matters worse, I was charged for salad add-ons that never arrived—even after pointing it out to the waiter, the items were still never delivered. Service was equally frustrating. I had to repeatedly flag down the waiter for napkins, missing food items, and even to correct the beverage order. It was clear we were being ignored, particularly by the server with the earpiece who went out of her way to avoid our table. The level of staff turnover is eye-opening and seems to directly impact both service and quality. With the steady influx of cruise ship passengers, the restaurant appears to rely on transactional one-time visitors rather than building consistency for returning customers. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend Plein Café and will be exploring alternative dining options on future visits.

Great Food and Amazing Beers! Plain Café Wilhelmina is one of my favorite spots in Curaçao for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food selection is fantastic! My personal favorite is the Bernard—tenderloin strips served with a fresh salad. I usually pair it with french fries, and it’s always delicious. What really makes this place stand out is the variety they offer: • Daily Specials: They have a “broodje van de dag” (sandwich of the day) and a lunch special daghap for those looking for something fresh and unique. • Beer Selection: The beer menu is incredible, offering the largest variety on the island! From IPAs and brown beers to white beers, blonde beers, magnums, non-alcoholic options, and lagers, there’s something for everyone. Beer lovers will especially enjoy the experience. • Vegetarian Options: They also cater to vegetarians, which is a big plus for anyone looking for plant-based meals. • Happy Hour: A perfect time to relax with friends and enjoy their amazing drink selection. Whether you’re here for a quick bite, a leisurely meal, or just to explore their impressive beer assortment, Plain Café Wilhelmina is a must-visit. The food is always fresh, the service is friendly, and the variety keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!

The food was fine but nothing special. If you can't get a reservation for dinner elsewhere you will most likely be able to just walk up and get a table, which is a positive. The menu was also quite large, reminiscent of a US diner menu.

Located in the lively Pietermaai District of Willemstad, Curacao, De Heeren @ sea is a charming oceanfront restaurant that underwent extensive renovations and reopened in June 2020. Formerly known as Scuba Lodge Restaurant, it offers a delightful setting to savor coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks while enjoying stunning ocean views.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food consistently delivers fantastic flavors, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. They have two locations, but this one stands out with its spacious and inviting design. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place if you want to have a dinner while watching the sunset. This restaurant has their own private beach and pier with plenty of tables overlooking the horizon. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Make sure to have a reservation as it can be quite busy. The staff was friendly and the service was quite quick. The food was not as good as we would have expected, but still acceptable. The price is on the higher side which is acceptable for the views you get but not for the quality of the food. However, it is still a good spot for a sunset dinner!

• ✅ Fast service: Staff was friendly and attentive; didn’t have to wait long at all. • 📍 Great location: Right by the waterfront, perfect for enjoying the Curaçao vibe. • 🍽 Tasty food: Overall delicious dishes, nicely presented. • 🍝 Pasta beef truffle: Very flavorful, tender meat — but a bit too salty for my taste. • 🍟 Truffle fries: Super generous with the truffle — almost too much, but still indulgent. • 👍 Would recommend: Nice spot for a relaxed dinner with a view.

We had an amazing experience at De Heeren @ Sea! The restaurant offers beautiful views that set the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious and impressively quick to arrive at our table. The best part was how the location felt like a hidden gem – the walk to get there added a fun, exclusive vibe to the whole experience. Whether you’re after great food or stunning scenery, this place has it all. Highly recommend!

Wonderful restaurant on the water to have lunch or dinner with your feet in the sand. You cannot tell from outside how beautiful it is until you walk in. I would highly recommend. You can also reserve a small palapa for the day right in front of the restaurant just by the ocean which is also a nice option.
Lou H — Google review
Great food, amazing location and very friendly service. The food is well prepared and full of flavour whole enjoying a great view of the ocean. We only enjoyed the restaurant and were not guests of the hotel. It worth the visit and enjoy a good lunch here
Robbin K — Google review
Although the restaurant is located in a very nice area and the food itself is good, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. We arrived at 5:30 p.m., and I wanted to order a dish from the lunch menu, but they said it was already dinner time — even though only 30 minutes had passed since lunch service ended. To make matters worse, the waiter completely forgot my order, so I ended up leaving without eating anything. On top of that, there is no separate area for smokers — and unfortunately, someone was smoking a cigar right behind us. The smell was so overwhelming that we had to leave before we could properly enjoy the evening. Considering the high prices, one would expect much better service and a more comfortable environment for all guests. Sadly, that was not the case.

Blue Bay, Curaçao is a stunning beach with soft white sands and crystal-clear blue waters, making it a must-visit destination on the island. It offers resort amenities such as beach chair rentals, umbrellas or palapas for shade, and high-end restaurant and bar options. The beach is part of a resort but open to the public for an entrance fee. Visitors can also enjoy activities like kayaking and snorkeling in the vibrant underwater world with on-site facilities available.
Nice private beach, heard is the most expensive one to get in to. Good place for snorkeling by the edges of the cove. Bar and restaurant available (not allowed to bring your own food/drinks).

A bit overrated. 14$ entry making it the most expensive on the island. It’s very well kept, but the water was almost green when we came. Snorkelling is pretty good but nothing crazy. For those brave enough, there is a free entry towards the bathroom on the side of the beach. We didn’t go that route, but seemed doable

5 stars for the beach but for snorkelling you better go to a different beach. It’s the most expensive beach on the island if you don’t live there you need to pay $14 USD entrance fee per person including kids. Parking is free

A short relaxing swim with a mask will earn you a view of the amazing reef and if you’re a diver, Charlie in the dive shop will make you feel at home. All of the servers are friendly but don’t forget to tip! There are many beautiful beaches on Curaçao but this is the one I will keep coming back to again and again.

Amazing private beach! the best in Curazao. It costs 14 usd/person, and the fee includes chairs and wifi. There's a bar inside where you can buy drinks and food, but you can also enter with your own. Important: The beach is inside a gated/private neighborhood and you need an ID to access
Adrian B — Google review
There is a charge for the beach and beach chairs if you are not staying in the Blue Bay resort. There is plenty of parking near the beach. The sun loungers are not too close together so the beach didn’t feel too crowded. The palm trees provide plenty of shade. There is food and drinks service provided to your sun lounger…just scan the QR code. We found the staff to be very helpful and service to be quick. The sea is easy to access with very few rocks…no water shoes needed.

Honestly the best meal I had my whole stay in Curacao. A bit out of the way from everything but I just happened to be driving by and decided to stop and I am so happy I did. The service was good and very friendly. All smiles. High quality meat here. The shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The chicken skewer was also cooked perfectly and high quality. I tried a bunch of chicken skewers with the peanut sauce on the island but this was by far the best one. Make sure to also try the local fried rice, very flavorful. The pizza was delicious as well. A lot of combinations and toppings I’ve never tried together but it pairs very nicely. Highly recommended. Take the drive out you won’t regret it.

This place is probably one of the better restaurants in the area. The food was reasonably priced and portions were big. The ribs were good and the shrimp (tiger prawns) was delicious. Known for its artisanal coffee and welcoming ambiance, it's a must-visit spot for those seeking signature coffee cocktails and healthy breakfast choices like fresh fruit with granola or flavorful bagels.
Number Ten was a lovely café for breakfast. The vibes are cute, and food was great. Lovely outdoor seating. For coffee, this was one of our favorite places in the whole island. I cannot recommend enough the croissants, they were so good that we came the next day for more (since conveniently, they share the same compound with the adjacent Cultural Center —a must visit too.) Thanks Nina for the great customer service too.

This is one of the more popular lunch spots on Curacao. They have a big indoor garden with a great ambience. The lunch is great, they have really good vegetarian options with tasty vegetables. The coffees are great and their homebaked cakes are fantastic. They have different options every day so you just have to walk inside to the bakery to see what is available for the day. The pieces are so big they almost count as a lunch on their own. An area of improvement might be the speed of their service, most times you have to wait quite long to order and pay. Otherwise, this is a great place to have a lunch!

Additionally, the restaurant offers free delivery to nearby locations, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals in various settings such as by the pool.
We had just finished a lovely dinner and were strolling past Crazy Mediterranean when I felt an irresistible urge for a glass of red wine. So, I dashed into the first place I saw, only to be greeted by a friendly lady who told us they were out of food. “No worries, we’re just here for a glass of wine,” I said, and that was all she needed to hear. She was chatty, and before long, we invited her to join us at the table. One thing led to another, and somehow, we ended up “in charge” of the place for a moment while she ran out for an errand just before closing. To top it all off, she treated us to an extra glass of Portuguese wine—on the house. The wine was as charming as our host, and the whole experience left us with smiles and stories to tell.

Our group had the chicken satay, a variety of tacos, chicken sandwich, a few of the appetizers and a variety of drinks - everything was excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else. Highly recommend!

I may come back for a beer but not to eat. Not after the reheated, bottom of the barrel Fries and frozen-tuna tacos. No way! I'll keep my hard earned money!!!!

If you're looking for a fantastic spot to dine outdoors, this place is a must-visit! The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed, al fresco meal. With the fresh air and cozy vibe, it’s an ideal setting to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The food did not disappoint – everything was incredibly tasty, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that really stood out. On top of that, the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this place offers a great combination of great food, excellent service, and a wonderful outdoor setting. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience!

The worst restaurant experience I've ever had. From the service to getting yelled at by the entire staff and the owner of the restaurant himself. Please do not come here. The place was empty and when we asked someone questions the server had to go back for every single one and seemed incompetent (ie: are the ribs pork? What type of fish is on the special? Do you have fish and chips? Is it fresh?) We had little children and people with dietary restrictions and all questions were reasonable and asked respectfully. We ordered chicken burgers and fries, chicken fingers for the kids, a Mexican bowl and truffle parmesan fries. We ordered 1 bottle of water but the server brought two and added them to our bill even though we asked for one and returned the other. She gave an explanation of how one bottle wouldn't be enough for all of us and when we returned the bottle she took two glasses away for some policy reason. The burgers and chicken fingers were okay. The truffle parmesan fries were so pathetic, barely fried and really cheap imitations of parmesan and truffle with no layers of seasoning. The Mexican bowl was nachos with drops of "guacamole" and the saddest brightly coloured bagged chips for tortillas. The chaos came after (pictures of food shown) when we asked if we could have them removed from our bill. The server flat out refused. Then I went to complain about the food to the manager and they said nothing aiming to offer constructive criticism about the experience. When I saw the owner, at first I asked if he owned the place and he said no. When we started paying the bill they made mistakes and told us to calm down while we asked kindly and calmly to correct. Then the owner, (who initially said he didn't) started aggressively yelling at my whole family which included two kids. My niece was crying in the car after never experiencing such a horrible non-accommodating experience. He was yelling at us for asking questions and trying to make accommodations thinking we were trying to change his menu. We only asked if the pork ribs could be substituted for more beef or chicken... Then he complained that we ate all the food and asked for items to be removed. The pictures were what was remaining of the fries and "Mexican" Bowl. Overall this was by far the worst eating experience I've ever had anywhere in the world. Do yourselves a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Worst Dining Experience Ever! Our visit to this restaurant was a complete disaster from start to finish. The service was disorganized—our server couldn’t answer basic questions about the menu without running back to the kitchen repeatedly. We were respectful and simply asked about ingredients due to dietary restrictions, but it seemed like too much for them to handle. The food was disappointing. The “Mexican bowl" that was just a pile of stale nachos with sparse toppings, and average chicken burgers. When we raised concerns about the quality and requested some items to be taken off the bill, the staff refused outright. The situation escalated when the owner, who initially denied owning the place, began yelling at us. This all happened because we calmly questioned errors on the bill and asked if substitutions were possible for dietary reasons. The aggressive behavior left my daughter in tears and ruined the evening. This was by far the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Love this restaurant and the chill atmosphere! The chefs and wait staff are super friendly. We have gone several times over the past couple of weeks and have ordered the Albondigas every time: they are always delicious! The 5p-7p Happy Hour is also a plus since we are sailing the world on a budget. From the complimentary shot of soup, to the tuna tacos and the goat cheese salad, all of the dishes are fresh and have amazing flavor. And, don’t t forget to save room for dessert: the chocolate mousse is our favorite. This is definitely some of the BEST food we have experienced since the Eastern Caribbean and the French islands. Cheers!

Friendly personnel, great ambiance with nicely decorated interior. I was there to have drinks with friends and celebrate a birthday. Did not taste any food so I can’t elaborate on that, however we had a great time and the birthday was a success.
Luca S — Google review
Great open air location on the water. The Ribeye Bacon Cheeseburger was just okay. The Bacon was very good but the burger was sub par. The French Fries were great. The seafood sandwich turned out to be seafood salad on bread. The waitress was initially prompt then just hung out with the bartender and we were the only customers. No follow-up and had to flag her down for more beer. The kitchen was fast and the place is very clean.

Nestled in the vibrant city of Willemstad, Merakii Seaview Escape Curacao is a delightful retreat just a stone's throw from the stunning Parasasa Beach. This charming property offers guests an array of comfortable accommodations equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a relaxing stay. With its inviting outdoor swimming pool and lush garden, it's perfect for unwinding after exploring nearby attractions like Queen Emma Bridge and the Curacao Sea Aquarium.
The Merakii is located within walking distance of the downtown, some beaches and many local restaurants. Adrienne is an amazing manager, ensuring your requests get attended to in a timely fashion. The resort is new, colourful and very clean. Sandy at the bar makes awesome drinks. Highly recommend staying here due to proximity to many amenities and cleanliness.

We spent an amazing couple of weeks here. The rooms were lovely, and if there was ever a problem or we had a question the staff were very available and helpful. The pool was perfect for our kids to learn and grow in confidence in their swimming. They had a great time. We will never forget the stunning sunsets we could experience from our balcony. A true highlight

FANTASTIC! The bed was the most comfortable bed we'd ever had in a hotel. The unit was clean and cool, the property was safe and well kept. Derrick at the bar was such a wealth of knowledge for places to go, see and eat across Curacao, and Adrienne is a warm and helpful manager. It's affordable, and if you take the daily money you would pay at a more expensive hotel and use it toward your food budget and a vehicle you can have the best trip ever. Can't recommend enough.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Location was perfect. I felt safe. Security guys 10/10. Bar guy 10/10. The only thing is I asked for more washcloths and was only given 1 additional washcloth (for 2 people). I ended up washing our towels/ washcloths myself which was weird coming from America. No housekeeping to wash laundry daily. (May just be an American thing). Would absolutely stay here again if we return. Clean property and my daughter loved the cat that roams around.

Had an amazing stay at Merakii. Nice, spacious and clean appartement with a convenient and well equipped kitchen. Great pool to relax with a nice cocktail bar next to it. All of the staff are lovely and very helpful. There is also a laundry building which you can use to wash your own clothes as well. Highly recommend a stay here.

This place is truly beautiful, capturing the essence os the island's natural elements. The staff is exceptionally attentive and comitted to creating the best experience possible for guests. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the pool area, complete with a bar, offers the perfect setting for relaxation. The communication is transparent and clear, and the hosts are among the friendliest I've encountered. A wonderful destination for a memorable stay.

Waterfront Terrace is situated in the serene fishing village of Boca Sami, offering breathtaking views of the island's sunrises and sunsets. The restaurant provides a laid-back and local dining experience, serving fresh seafood and local dishes. It is a popular spot for divers due to its proximity to a dive shop. The staff are known for their friendliness, creating a cozy atmosphere for visitors to relax and enjoy delicious meals while taking in stunning ocean views.
Great place for local food. We ordered the whole red snapper and chicken stew. Everything was delicious. The fish was so fresh and super tasty. Note that this place is cash only! For two beers, two entrees and one dessert it was 51 USD. There are also a few local dogs that hang around the area who are very sweet. Made the experience even better!

Best spot on the island for an amazing sunset accompanied with excellent fresh seafood! This hidden gem is very worthwhile to explore. The owner is very friendly and happy to have a good chat and share details of the food. Drive overhere and get ready for a great dinner!
Floris P — Google review
Food tastes good, but the fish was over cooked, so it was kind of tough. Service was typical curacao service, but the owner was very nice. Price was reasonable. For 3 mahi-mahi fillets, a wahoo fillet all with sizable sides, 3 beers, a rum, and 2 bottles of water was 91 USD. Don't think I'd go back though.
Daniel R — Google review
The location is quite nice directly at the beach and the staff was very friendly. We were a little disappointed about the food. We had Calamares and the red Snapper and both were deep fried like in a Fastfood restaurant. It was not bad, but we paid over 50$ for 2 meals and 2 drinks and for that price we definetly expect more.
Flo — Google review
We went here our first night after checking into our AirBnB near Blue Bay. We were looking for someplace easier and closer to get to than the fancier restaurants in Willemstad and found this by Googling reviews. It was the perfect place to relax, have dinner, and a drink after a long day of traveling. The staff were very friendly; the food was good, and it had a very local vibe which was nice. They gave us free spring rolls. While we got there too late to be able to see the views, it was nice to sit outside and hear the sounds of the waves while we ate. One thing I will note is that Google maps doesn't quite get the directions right and we spent some time driving around trying to find the restaurant. I'm glad we finally did!
Brooklyn F — Google review
This restaurant is not the typical restaurant you might be used to, it feels like home. If you are in the mood for a humble location where you can lay back and enjoy the view of the ocean and enjoy a drink and have fresh seafood this is the place to be. Prepare to talk about diving because of the nearby dive shop its frequently visited by that crowd.

Lied about having an apartment. But at wet paid they informed us off a room change even tho we paid for an apartment. I decided too take to room because it's already paid for and we were only staying one more night in Curacao. However I thought a refund would've been acceptable. He told us to come check in by 2pm after I suggested 12pm. Which was fine. But by time we came the room still wasn't ready. He to told me another hr. Smh. Finally I got to see the "room". The room was cramp. Uncomfortable. The sheets were extremely thin and not big enough for two people. The pillows were just as bad. For $78 a night u would've thought u would be getting something better. I just paid $175 at the previous resort. Wet thought moving closer to the airport would've made life easier but it didn't. Voice just stayed the hour away no lie.

What a wonderful slice of paradise in Curacao. Rene and Karin made us feel at home and they have an amazing property with a beautiful pool, shared kitchen and plenty of places to sit in the shade. They also have very sweet dogs, cats and a turtle. They're near a lovely local beach and delicious restaurant. We stayed in the Plantage room which felt very private with a garden view and lots of storage space. And I can't forget to mention the perfect breakfast spread on the first morning. A great stay — would definitely recommend!

(Translated by Google) Summer '24 we were in Curaçao and stayed at Villa Zomerland! It really is the most fantastic place to stay. In any case, unanimously the best we had this summer for our family. We stayed in the Troepiaal and the children in the Plantage room. It is very nice to have your own kitchen and to eat your food on the beautiful terrace by the pool. Sometimes you eat with your family, but sometimes other guests join you. It makes it possible to exchange tips and experiences in a fun, relaxed way. Karin and René are wonderful hosts, who always give good tips, are not pushy, but very sociable and pleasant. Really perfect. And well, we also enjoyed the dogs Binkie, Soto and Amy, the cats Biertje and Borreltje (what names!) and the turtles Guus and Truus. To complete the zoo, we often heard a trooper, saw hummingbirds and countless lizards and iguanas in the beautifully maintained garden. In short, it is 'the place to be' on Curaçao. Kortom, het is ‘the place to be’ op Curaçao.

(Translated by Google) We (three friends) spent the night here for six days and it was great! The swimming pool is lovely, the apartment is very new, secured and there is air conditioning in the bedrooms. We had the apartment with a terrace (recommended!). We thought for a moment that the photos were too good to be true, but nothing could be further from the truth. What you see in the photos is what the apartment is like in real life. In addition, friendly hosts who speak Dutch. The apartment is located on the Spanish Water (beautiful view) and close to Jan Thiel Beach. Highly recommended!

Sylvie Resort Curaçao is a charming 10-room property located just a short drive from Spaanse Water and the family-friendly Curacao Ostrich Farm. Nestled in a quiet and safe neighborhood, this beautiful resort offers a central location near popular beaches and Willemstad. The cozy rooms feature small kitchenettes with refrigerators, allowing guests to enjoy some home comforts.
A pearl in Curaçao! + Secluded, yet central location near Caracasbaaiweg with all the food stands, Jan Thiel beach, Mambo strip, Saliña and Luna Park supermarket. A wonderful Host , Valerie, was easy to get in contact with for questions, tips and solutions. Her main goal is for her guests to relax and enjoy the vacation. Thank you for that! The pool was good-sized with a baby section. The porch was our outdoor hangout spot, lovely, with different sits so everyone could have their spot when privacy was needed. The wifi was strong throughout the whole resort. The apartment was spacious and the beds slept very well. It was home away from home. - Most of my questions and wishes I asked beforehand and Valerie made arrangements to fulfill them. That was nice. One thing that I missed was the microwave.

It's nice that there is a small kitchenette with a refrigerator. This allows you to fry a delicious egg in the morning. Definitely recommended to stay. The owner is also extremely friendly and will help you with all your questions where necessary.

Dive Curacao, formerly known as City Beach 88, is located in the Pietermaai District of Willemstad. It's the only city beach in the area, making it convenient for those looking to enjoy a beach day without leaving town. The dive shop offers guided diving services suitable for both new divers and experienced veterans.
We just returned home from a 3 week diving vacation to Curaçao. We booked our dive package with Bryan. He went above and beyond our expectations, not only with setting us up with a great dive company, but also directing us to some of the best shore dives, where to eat, and other sightseeing attractions. Having someone like Bryan with his local knowledge was a huge help to us. I will be using Dive Curaçao again, very highly recommended Thanks Bryan, Whit and Jodee.

We had never been to Curacao but had time for a few days on the way to Bonaire. I contacted Bryan and he arranged everything from hotel to diving to transportation to and from the airport. Her even personally met us at the airport to make sure everything was OK. His service was perfect including supplying links to upload our dive info to Ocean Encounters and everything else we needed. We loved Curacao and hope to return in the future. We will absolutely use Bryan and Dive Curacao again.

Dive Curaçao 🇨🇼 was phenomenal in helping us plan an exceptional escape during a unique time. Ease of planning couldn’t have been any more seamless. The hotel options were fantastic and the trip itself was beyond our expectations. We spent seven glorious diving the beautiful waters of Curaçao. We had such a great time we are planning to return in two months.....with the help of Dive Curaçao of course!

This company is absolutely fantastic!!! My wife and I have had a crazy year with unexpected life events and health problems happening both before the trip causing plans and bookings to change and during the trip. Brian was ALWAYS on top of it, always upbeat and always had a solution to our constantly changing itinerary. Unfortunately we had to cut the trip short and before we left town Brian was there for us. He met me for a cup of coffee and gave me outstanding advice that I will remember for all my next dive trips to come. This is customer service that you only receive from an owner/operator of a company and one who truly lives his passion (diving and helping other go diving). Thank you so much! Thank you 1000 times over! We will recommend you to anyone coming to Curaçao.
