Vista point
The Queen Emma Bridge, affectionately known as the "Swinging Old Lady," is a remarkable pedestrian pontoon bridge that dates back to 1888. This iconic structure gracefully opens to allow ships to pass, making it a unique feature of Willemstad's waterfront. As you stroll across this floating marvel, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the vibrant cityscape adorned with colorful Dutch colonial buildings.
Beautiful pontoon bridge made of wooden planks for pedestrians in the heart of downtown Willemstad. The bridge makes way for ships and boats when they're crossing the bay. The best time to visit the beach is during the sunset as the bridge is lit up in colourful lights. You also get a great view of the colourful Victorian style buildings of Willemstad.
Savio D — Google review
Nice bridge to walk over. Its cool to see them open and close the bridge. Great views of town. Stop by during the day to see the beautiful colors of the buildings. Stop by at night to see the bridge and everything light up.
Sharon — Google review
The Queen Emma Bridge is such a fun experience! It swings open and closed to let boats pass, which is unique to watch. Just be mindful if you’re heading to a cruise or tour—sometimes it can stay open for up to half an hour, so plan ahead to avoid waiting.
Marta S — Google review
The Queen Emma Bridge is such a cool experience! The way it moves while you’re walking across feels so strange at first, but in the best way. The boats that hold it up are incredible to see up close—it’s truly one of a kind! At night, the bridge lights up beautifully, and the reflections on the water make it even more magical. Both sides of the harbor glow with color and energy. Definitely a must-see in Curaçao, both day and night!
S W — Google review
This is a working piece of history and a marvel of innovative solution to let large ships pass through. When lit at night, it's a beautiful view.
A J — Google review
This bridge is absolutely stunning. You can see both sides of willemstad. You can take beautiful pictures on this bridge. This bridge is also a moving bridge. On the other side of this bridge, definitely go check out the smoothie truck. This woman makes the best smoothies i ever had.
Diamondprincess3232 — Google review
It is a curious and nice experience to look at the bridge and see it while it opens, because some ships are coming through. It is a mandatory place to visit when you are downtown and you can take pictures of the colorful buildings from the other side (Otro anda). Obviously you must visit Otrobanda too and check out the colorful and nice commerce strip with a variety of shops. There are nice restaurants, bars and museums to check out.

Absolutely beautiful waterfront. Plenty of shopping and food options. A must see.

Museum Kura Hulanda in Curacao is a significant site that educates visitors about the island's role in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Located in Willemstad, where enslaved individuals were once traded, this museum offers a comprehensive overview of this dark period in history. Through its exhibits featuring documents and artifacts, it effectively communicates the impact of slavery and promotes understanding and unity. Additionally, the museum sheds light on the island's history as a cultural melting pot.
Museum Kurá Hulanda is a fascinating journey through history, spanning cultural areas and time periods such as the transatlantic slave trade, West African Empires, Mesopotamian relics, and Antillean art. We chose to explore with a tour guide, which turned out to be an excellent decision—there’s so much to take in, and the guide added depth and context to the experience. While the exhibits are incredibly enriching, some of the topics are emotionally heavy, so be prepared for that. Overall, it’s worthwhile for anyone interested in the Antilles history and culture.
Tanyia J — Google review
A really impressing exhibition. Slavery and colonialism is part of Curacaos history. I had a guide which explained good, but going in the deep it is better walking around alone. Unfortunately I think there is no much caring about actualizing. It looked like as if nothing had been done for 30 years. Fotos and copies of documents are fading. But I was really touched. Worth a visit and thinking a bit about Imperialism, modern slavery, tyrans, autocracies … and drinking a lot of rum after the conclusion, that mankind is Not willing to learn …
Elisabeth H — Google review
My wife and I loved the museum. We easily lost track of time and spent 2 hours viewing the different exhibits. My only complaint is that the lighting on some of the exhibits were poor.
Frank U — Google review
My women's group took a guided tour here. It was very informative and overwhelming moving. Going down to the hull of the slave ship had me in tears. It's one thing to read about them, but seeing it was heartbreaking. I definitely recommend taking the tour when in Curacao.
Katrena “ — Google review
Kura Hulanda is wonderful place to lean about the Atlantic slave trade from a Dutch and Curacao point if view. The museum is broken up into sections and it also includes North American and United States history of slavery and oppression. I really appreciated the artifacts displayed. You can opt in for a guided tour for an additional fee (cash only).
Erika W — Google review
I was hoping for a little more information and explanation of the items in the exhibition. Even though the museum has a large amount of historical content and you can lose track of time some exhibition information is getting washed by the time. Also you can feel a foul smell at some point. With my girlfriend opted for not paying for a guide which was additional to the entrance fee but might recommend it to get more information on the exhibitions.
Francisco U — Google review
Missed this on our other visits to the island, but glad we took the time. This is an unexpected collection of high quality pieces and a hidden gem. Definitely worth spending the extra money for the guided tour.

Cute little museum to walk through. Its very small. Can go through with a tour or by yourself.

Beach
Nature & Parks
Mambo Beach, also known as Seaquarium Beach, is a bustling and popular destination located east of Willemstad. The beach offers white sands, clear blue waters, and a variety of amenities such as shops and a swimming area. Visitors can relax on the sun-kissed shores or explore nearby Playa Piskado for an unforgettable snorkeling experience with sea turtles.
Mambo beach is very relaxing, even though it is extremely busy. We had a really nice spot, close to the water. Staff from the restaurant takes orders where you sit on the beach, so you can relax and enjoy a cocktail. Swimming was nice and great to cool off from a very hot day. I really enjoyed Mambo beach.
Celest V — Google review
Mambo Beach is basically a boardwalk near a few resorts. The food at the restaurants on the ‘boardwalk’ is fair, not great. Though the service at each one we tried is good. The beach bars are fun, service is good. Rent beach chairs if you aren’t staying at one of the resorts… The beach is chill and fairly fun. We preferred the beach segment near Lionsdive, near the Hemingway… as you could see a nice assortment of fish while snorkeling. It was fun… Parking for Mambo seems straightforward, though we stayed at one of the resorts, so we didn’t need it. Its worth checking out. There is also a camera you can see the conditions of the beach from anywhere in the world, which is cute. It’s a family-friendly beach.
Jennida C — Google review
It is the closest beach to downtown Willemstad and that's why it is probably the most popular Also, this is the beach where the tourists from the cruises are taken so I do not recommend you to go those days. It is full of restaurants and bars and it has a rock wall that protects the shore. The beach is full of beds and other kinds of accommodations but you have to pay for them. The prices are not cheap but the place is very pretty.
Diego R — Google review
Cozy beach, perfect for families with kids as it’s not wavy. The water is clean and warm enough Chairs are $12-15 each. There’s a bar, restaurant
Roland V — Google review
Place to enjoy restaurant on a beach and crowded beach basically more people than beach area on a busy day like weekends. In general it’s a very active place, but, if you like this type of places this it’s your spot.
William H — Google review
The clearest water I have ever seen in my life. Everything is well kept and there are multiple food options. There is a no outside food policy which absolutely sucks. But other than that, it's a great beach.
Chris — Google review
Don‘t miss a visit to the famous Mambo beach, where you can swim in crystal-clear water and unwind on a picture-perfect shore.
Repi N — Google review
By far my favorite beach! The beach is a bit crowded sometimes (this shouldn’t be a problem as the beach is large) but very clean and the sand is soft as it’s not rocky nor full of shells/hard corals. Enjoy the view with the sunset and the beautiful restaurants nearby. The parking is for free and feel free to use the chairs at the beach free of charge.

Caverns & Caves
Hato Caves, located in the northern part of Curacao near the airport and cruise port, are a popular attraction offering guided tours through limestone formations that are around 300,000 years old. The cave system features impressive stalactites, stalagmites, a water pool, and ancient cave drawings. Visitors can also observe two rare bat species hanging from the cave's ceilings. The caves have historical significance as they were once used as hiding spots by escaped slaves.
If you enjoy the beauty of nature and have a sense of adventure, Hato Caves is a great destination. There was a short wait and a bit of a climb, but it's well worth it. The guide we had was knowledgeable and while their primary role is to keep things moving and keep people safe, their presence was worthwhile. The caves themselves were spectacular. Because they are so large and well lit, I didn't experience claustrophobia the way I had previously in some smaller caves. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Dylan G — Google review
Would definitely recommend you do this at the earliest part of the day that you can as the stairs are very steep to enter and the caves can get VERY hot and humid. There are quite a lot of fans throughout the cave but it still gets quite hot. Loved the experience and the tour guide was excellent.
Rajesh B — Google review
These caves are very close from the airport and they are very interesting and beautiful inside. They are not that big but still you can enjoy something unique. There are tours in English and Spanish. You cannot enter alone and you must go with a guide. They only let you take pictures at some specific points sadly. The entrance fee for tourists is $10.
Diego R — Google review
We visited Hato Caves while driving around the island. They have tours every half hour and were able to walk right into one. You climb several steps to get up to the caves. Tour was 45 min total. Very interesting inside. Grounds are beautiful. Guide was very knowledgeable. Fans running the caves to keep air flowing. Check out our full video and other videos of our Curacao adventures on YouTube: Wandered Off
Wandered O — Google review
Whenever I have the opportunity to explore a cave, I take it—and Hato Cave did not disappoint! The 30-minute guided tour offers a fascinating look into the island's interior landscape. The cave is well-lit throughout, making it easy to navigate and appreciate the features without worry. You’ll encounter stunning formations of stalagmites and stalactites that make the cave incredibly unique. Keep an eye out for the small bats that call this place home—you might spot them fluttering overhead or nestled in the darker corners. One thing to note: despite being in a cave you are not deep underground, so the cave is surprisingly warm, so don’t expect a cool escape from the heat. Overall, it’s a unique and worthwhile stop for anyone interested. Also, there are quite a few stairs to get up into the cave, so those with poor knees may want to pass.
Dan B — Google review
This was an amazing tour of the caves. Mr Daisy took his time to explain the formation and history of the caves and show us its wonders. He speaks 4 languages so everyone was included.
Shanon A — Google review
Great experience, the stairs take your time cause its a workout. The tour was very interesting with learning so much about the cave and bats.

Nature & Parks
The Curaçao Sea Aquarium is a must-visit family-friendly attraction offering live shows with dolphins and sea lions, as well as interactive experiences with sharks and stingrays. Visitors can opt for the Ocean Lens experience to observe the island's marine life without getting wet or engage in the Sea Lion Encounter for an adorable interaction. For a more thrilling adventure, there's the opportunity to feed sharks during the Animal Encounter.
I went a few years ago and loved it! It's small compared to other aquariums I've been to, but it's very pretty and offers the experience of having a dolphin kiss you on the cheek for a photo. I loved the experience; I love Curacao.
Kristy R — Google review
Beautiful sea aquarium with gorgeous views views of the Caribbean Sea. Lots of animals to see including a movie theater with an awesome show of snorkeling along the coastline of the island. My only suggestion is to invest more in the upkeep of the facility in particular the tanks that need cleaning and painting. The arrival are for the buses also need better landscaping to be kept up.
GQ T — Google review
The dolphins are amazing. And smart. We donate dolphin encounter. It was $114. So I guess not bad it was an hour and half. With about 20 minutes in the water with the dolphins. They have other things to see as well. Small aquarium but definitely something else to do if you need a break from the beach. Or if you have kids with you.
Azarria W — Google review
The highlight of this aquarium is the dolphins' show. The pools are integrated to the sea so the dolphins look much better located than in other aquariums. The rest of the aquarium is very basic and has few exhibitions.
Carlos G — Google review
My daughter and I had a BALL at the aquarium! We went to the Dolphin Academy and interacted with the dolphins, saw flamingoes, walked around and just had a great time exploring the area! A MUST-DO when in Curaçao!🇨🇼💕
Deb P — Google review
A beautiful aquarium, with wonderful staff and amazing animals to see. The setting is breathtaking. Even tho the aquarium is not the biggest, there is plenty to see and do there. I would definitly recommend to pay the sea aquarium a visit if you can!
Daniel T — Google review
It was wonderful. Cost about 20 dollars. Got to watch people have the dolphin experience. It was very chill not overly crowded. Everyone seemed nice and very informative. Will return

Mikve Israel-Emanuel Synagogue, the oldest surviving synagogue in the Western Hemisphere, is a must-visit for those interested in exploring the unique history of Curacao. This historic site has been in regular operation since 1732 and offers tours, a Judaica museum, and a gift shop. Additionally, visitors can explore the Bleinheim and Beth Haim cemeteries to discover headstones that represent stories spanning Curacao's history.
very few people know of the jewish community in curaçao and even fewer know that it has been the first in the americas and the richest and most important until the mid 19th century. the synagogue is still active although the community is dwindling. the museum is small but very well organized and undeniably deeply cared for. definitely worth a visit.
Doc — Google review
Extraordinary and can’t miss in Curaçao 🇨🇼 It’s the oldest functioning synagogue in the Americas. It’s reform nowadays, very welcoming. Rabbi Hirsch is wonderful. Breathtaking beauty and you can’t help but get watery eyes after you understand the historical significance of this place.
Ami S — Google review
Beautiful synagogue, as many have already mentioned it’s the oldest in the western hemisphere that still functions today! It’s apparently a replica of the original in Amsterdam, complete with the sand floor. I didn’t come for shul (I’m observant/orthodox and this is reconstructionist — observant folks, go to Chabad!) but I did morning prayers here before going to the museum. Such a joy to daven within the same walls as thousands of our ancestors have for hundreds of years.
Shark B — Google review
We are not Jewish but love historical buildings. This place is simply beautiful. The sand floors. The museum. The timeline of Curaçao’s history and how the Jewish community impacted it. Highly recommend a visit! Check out our full video and other videos of our Curacao adventures on YouTube: Wandered Off
Wandered O — Google review
One of the oldest Synagogues in the Caribbean. Sand floor made from sand from Israel. Excellent museum. You should go for yourself!
David S — Google review
It is an interesting synagogue. Unique to see how different groups practiced their faith.
BackpackingAndy — Google review
A visit to the oldest surviving synagogue in the Americas is an absolute must. The history of this synagogue is very interesting and is explained in detail through a timeline display. It also goes into some of the history of Curacao which I found very useful and informative. Next to the synagogue is the museum, which is considered to be a "living museum" meaning a lot of items on display are used for service or special ceremonies/events.
Heidi M — Google review
This is a great experience to know about Jews in Curacao and also in Latin America. You can visit the synagogue for up to a week if you keep the bracelet in good condition. Plan the visit well to be able to look at the details of the many artifacts that are in the exhibition. Definitely a must just to know a little bit more of historical facts.

Distilleries
Landhuis Chobolobo is a renowned Curaçao liqueur distillery housed in a historic 19th-century mansion. Situated on the eastern end of the Schottegat, this plantation is famous for producing Blue Curacao liquor using Valencia oranges found on its grounds. Visitors can partake in guided tours to delve into the plantation's history and learn about the production process of Blue Curacao.
Just did a walk thru on a self guided tour, and then purchased drinks in the bar by the gift shop. Excellent drinks with heavy pours by friendly, helpful people! Plenty of info signs... Very educational on the history of the distillery. Not much information about the actual distillation process... Probably because so many have tried to duplicate their product. Maybe you'd get that in the pay-tour. Tip: the different colors are all the same flavor. The Chocolate and Tamarind flavors are very good. The Blue Curacao tastes a lot sweeter and lighter than what we buy in the States. After looking around the island, this is the cheapest you will find their product. It was $30/750ml and $20/375ml at the gift shop.
Dan B — Google review
See and hear the origin and how Blue Curaçao is made. Experience the taste of the Curaçao liquor assortment, explore some cocktails and enjoy a workshops. Very nice for an afternoon.
Darby B — Google review
We self guided ourselves cause tours were booked in the afternoon. But we loved it, had a potent cocktail and shopped while waiting for out cab. Totally worth the visit. All you need is an hour, or hour and half.
Beaux L — Google review
Really nice experience. Even though we didn't drink alcohol, we had one of the best cups of coffee we've ever tried. Nice gift shop on site and coffee bar. Friendly people on site too!
Travel2418 — Google review
We came here by rental car. Parking is free and it’s closed to town. It’s a small place and if you walking by yourself, it’s free to do so. There is a small bar and store at the end near the exit. It’s good gift to bring home.
Alan N — Google review
The directions here is misleading. The GPS stops you before the destination. The tour was okay, informative about Curacao liqueur. Couldn't hear Eli at times. The best part was the cocktail workshop. Calita was very nice.
Cha E — Google review
Lovely tourguide that told us everything there is to know about the process of making the Blue Curaçao liqour. We also enjoyed the cocktail at the end of the 1 hour tour where we could taste the different kinds of liqour they make here. Very enjoyable experience!!
Yorick J — Google review
Booked the cocktail making class and tour... I genuinely enjoyed the tour and our guide Genesis was so pleasant and knowledgeable but the cocktail making class setup isnt ideal as only two people can make drinks at a time and we were placed in a group with 10 others. The young lady running the class could not even focus on her task as she was offering games and taking food orders for people in the group. We waited 15 min and decided to leave as the two young ladies were still behind the bar and it felt like we would be here waiting idly for far too long. Disappointing. The grounds and tour were nice but there is room for improvement with the cocktail making part.

The Floating Market in Curacao is a vibrant and colorful part of the island's history, connecting it to nearby Venezuela. Traders from Venezuela arrive by small boats along the Waaigat Canal to sell fresh tropical fruits, vegetables, fish, spices, artwork, and gifts. The market is located in the Punda district of Willemstad and offers a picturesque setting with Dutch-inspired architecture and pastel-colored buildings.
Lots of great fresh fruits and vegetables! Loved haggling with the Venezuelan sellers. They are quite quick to get your attention but ask questions and be firm in highlighting what you want and don't want. Very decently priced! Found some of my favourite tropical fruits; Governor plums - sweet, juicy and as delicious as they've always been from my childhood. Also found some great bell peppers and avocados for our toast.
Brendon B — Google review
Must visit when in Curaçao!!!! The vibrant colors of the vegetables and fruits reminds me of my childhood in Guyana. So many options to choose from and to top it off, there are fresh fishes to choose from as well!!!
Nafeesa M — Google review
Experience the flavors of Curaçao at the floating market, where locals and Venezuelan vendors offer their fresh fruits, veggies and tropical vibes.
Repi N — Google review
Interesting spot. It’s not actually floating, the merchants come by boat and set up stalls along the road. Not huge but worth a visit. About half the vendors sell produce primarily to the locals (good prices, we did pick up a few things) and the other half have the same touristy souvenirs that all the shops have.
Kimberly K — Google review
It was a really nice experience! There were lots of people selling fresh fruits, many of them brought over from Venezuela to Curacao just for the market. I also saw plenty of women selling souvenirs and unique items for tourists. Definitely a great spot to visit and spend a little money while enjoying the local culture.

It is a beautiful small beach full of bars and restaurants all along. There are many venues where you can choose from, to buy a snack or have a drink. There are a couple of swimming pools that belong to the Papagayo Hotel. You must pay for beds on the beach. The prices are a little high and I would say this is the Dutch beach.
Diego R — Google review
I enjoy visiting this place from time to time for snorkeling, lounging, hiking, or dining. There are plenty of restaurant options available. Please note that there is a fee to access the beach for swimming or snorkeling. They also offer massage services and diving lessons. While it may not be the best spot for snorkeling on the island, it’s still a solid choice overall. Additionally, there are retail shops and gift shops on-site.
Kimberly P — Google review
Crystal clear waters. Quiet atmosphere on most days (but Saturday’s have amazing live music). Variety of delicious food options—from pizza and chicken to ice cream and fine dining. What more could you ask for? Went here 3 times during my week in curacao. Found it better than other options (Mambo Beach, etc). Highly recommended
Ami S — Google review
There was a small entrance fee per person. I feel like we may have missed the best part of the beach because we ended up sitting right outside the Zanzibar restaurant. There’s also a fee for chairs and a few palapa-style (palm-covered) shades available for rent. This beach had stairs leading into the ocean instead of a sandy shoreline. The water wasn’t as blue as some of the other beaches we visited, but it was still beautiful. There were a few restaurants on-site, and you could rent snorkeling gear if you wanted. Overall, it was okay — but definitely not as impressive as the other beaches we went to.
S W — Google review
$3 per person entry fee, then we rented a day bed for about 35(?) that came with towels and a large water. We ordered other drinks and food. Service was decent. The water is calm. Not as clear as some beaches so not really a snorkeling option… papagayo’s infinity pool is nice. Lots of parking. Several cafes or restaurants or gelato options…

The Curacao Maritime History Museum offers a fascinating journey through over 500 years of the island's maritime history. Visitors can explore exhibits detailing the Dutch West India Co., the slave trade, and Willemstad's growth. The museum features a working model of the Steam for Oil refinery, showcasing its impact on the island's economy. Additionally, guests can enjoy guided tours of both the museum and harbor to gain a comprehensive understanding of Curacao's maritime heritage.
I loved the museum! The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. The exhibits beautifully highlight Curaçao’s rich naval and maritime history, and you can tell the entire museum has been created with great care and passion. They even stamped my passport, something specially arranged through a government agency and available at only a handful of places, which made the visit even more memorable.
Jailene C — Google review
This is one of the few museums in Curacao but it is quite fun to visit. You start your journey with the discovery of the Caribbean and later the time of piracy. The maritime history of Curacao is explained and there are quite a lot historical artefacts and photographs. There are no guided tours, a walk around takes about 1-1.5 hours. The staff is very friendly. They normally offer a boat tour through the harbour but it is temporarily not available. They hope to start it again soon.
Sam H — Google review
If you're looking for a comprehensive exhibit this museum delivers! The displays are in multiple languages and impressively detailed with additional video descriptions on certain sections. The owners have done an incredible job restoring the building and creating the exhibits. Definitely worth a second trip!

A wonderful way to review the maritime history of Curacao. Just opposite from Punda, you can cross the bridge and have a lunch afterward.!

Curacao Maritime History offers a fascinating look into the island’s maritime past. Well-organized exhibits, friendly staff, and an atmosphere that takes you back in time. A brief visit full of great discoveries! 🌊⚓
Mariel M — Google review
Had a very nice visit to the maritime museum. The history was definitely about the island but also equally about the Dutch which makes sense but was unexpected. Most maritime museums on islands are about the island. I didn’t mind though. The artifacts are nicely preserved and everything explained in three languages. I learned a few new things and was happy it was also air conditioned. Definitely worth stopping by.
Adam R — Google review
Great museum, one of the best I’ve ever visited. It is privately owned and run with passion by the director and his wife. The director served three decades in the Dutch Navy, and you can feel his expertise in the meticulous reconstruction of explorers’ and conquistadors’ routes, as well as in the detailed displays of ships and vessels on the ground floor. His wife contributed by translating old German diaries, adding even more depth to the collection. The museum takes you on a journey through 500 years of Curaçao’s maritime heritage. Highlights include ancient canoes of the Arwak people, 17th-century ship models, nautical charts and maps dating back to the 1500s, exhibits on harbor development and shipbuilding, a detailed model of the Shell oil refinery, and interactive displays about the Dutch Navy’s role in the Caribbean. A standout piece is a massive bronze cannon recovered from the explosion of the Alphen frigate in 1778 — a rare artifact weighing over 1,600 pounds, decorated with dolphins, and linked to a tragedy that claimed more than 250 lives. A visit here is an absolute must if you want to understand Curaçao’s history and its deep connection with the sea, in the past, the present, and also a little in the future!
Giorgio F — Google review
I found this to be one of the highlights of my trip to Curacao. The amount of history and importance Curacao has played throughout history was very insightful and had no idea. The museum is small but it makes up for the amount of information it holds. If you can dedicate an hour or two, I think you will find this museum very interesting.

Nestled in the heart of Willemstad, the Old Market is a vibrant and airy spot that captures the essence of Curaçaoan culture. With its rustic charm, picnic tables, and open kitchens, this market offers an authentic taste of local life. Visitors can indulge in a variety of classic dishes from numerous vendors while soaking up the lively atmosphere.
Double, tripled back! Hit Mama’s on the weekend and Eva’s during the week. Both are fantastic choices. Definitely recommend getting there before lunch rush to make sure all options are available. We ordered oxtail, goat, salt fish, & red snapper. Bonus, super affordable (paid with $USD)
Shelby F — Google review
Some of the best food we had in Curaçao. We had oxtail from 2 different stalls. Also tried stewed goat, saltfish, and the snapper. All with the Caribbean season rice with peas/lentils. Everything we had was delicious! I’d highly recommend this as a lunch stop. Note that it is SUPER hot in there. Some stalls have a long wait, but it is really worth it. Do not skip this place! Find street parking nearby.
Jennida C — Google review
Mixed feelings, we went there hoping for the local food hall vibe. However it is just a space with a lot of tables and some food stalls. It felt pretty dirty, the way the sellers were handling the food&money&cleaning utensils didn't give much trust in the hygiene.
MK — Google review
Lots of local vendors with great value. We had the fried whole fish which was delicious and a great place to local cultural food. It's right in the middle of the city and a must visit for all.
Natasha R — Google review
Great local spot! My wife and I went to the spot in the middle that seemed to have the most people purchasing (good sign that the food would be good). Very reasonable and great value for money! Loved that you could see the different mains keeping warm on the stoves in front. My oxtail stew was delicious and the rice was well done. I realised that the cook was Haitian so chit chatting in French secured me some pikliz relish to add much needed spiciness! My wife's whole fried snapper was clearly well seasoned and delicious! We love supporting local businesses when we travel and this was well worth it. Just outside of the market is a smoothie stand and to the back of it on the other side is a local bakery to pick up some local sweet treats.

Looking for an authentic taste of Curaçao? 🇨🇼✨ Head over to Plasa Bieu in Willemstad – the island’s iconic food hall. Here you’ll find traditional dishes like goat stew, beef stew, fresh fish, funchi, and more, all prepared with local flavors and love. 🥘🐟 It’s the perfect place to experience Curaçao’s culinary heritage while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the city. 🌴💛 A must-visit for food lovers!

Public beach
Kokomo Beach in Curacao is a low-key sandy beach with turquoise waters, deck chairs, a dive center, and a restaurant. It's known for its charming rocky shoreline and iconic photo opportunities, including the famous Kokomo sign with swings hanging from palm trees. This beach offers a peaceful ambiance and stunning views of the Caribbean waters, making it perfect for couples. Just 15 minutes from the port, it's ideal for families and novice snorkelers.
Such a beautiful beach! It's small so it's best to get there right when it opens. The food is good, the snorkeling is fun and cheap. The waves were slightly rocky when I went but if you're a confident swimmer you'll be fine. Like all the beaches on the island make sure you have your water shoes! There was a pack of dogs in the parking lot. The alpha was slightly unnerving but they just seemed like they wanted food. I'd never seen dogs like that before. They were entertaining to watch. Overall I would definitely return, it's worth a visit!!
Kandace A — Google review
As others have mentioned. There aren’t many places to put your towel down and if you do purchase a chair, many of them have no shade. Photos are from early morning (9am) before the sun was completely out. The water is beautiful. Snorkeling was a little rough since the water is a little choppy which causes water to get inside your snorkel.
Jerica F — Google review
Small beach, not many shade options. If you can't handle the sun then you'll have to go early to get some shade. A bit rocky but using the stairs to go into the water helped. Food options and service was great. We had chicken wings, passion fruit juice and passion fruit popsicles (all very tasty). Snorkeling was decent. The best part is that its close to the downtown area (20 minute drive).
Natasha R — Google review
I would describe this place as an okay Beach but expensive. The only different thing they have is the singer with the name of the beach on it I didn't stay here for a long time and I left the place before they could charge me for the use of beach beads. If you want to visit I recommend you to get there early, around 9-10 am. If you plan to sneak food do it in your bags.
Diego R — Google review
Fantastic beach experience. Wonderful amenities (bar and restaurant) with excellent service. Lovely beach and unexpectedly some of the best snorkeling on the island, though many folks were new (standing on corals, touching or attempting to touch fish and sealife) for their GoPro videos can be upsetting, so some rules around that would be helpful. Highly recommend, note the beach is private so watch the hours of operation.
Clara C — Google review
Kokomo beach is beautiful and great for snorkeling. I saq some of tje largeat colorful fiah here and the sea life is amazing!! It is vwry rocky so u def want water shoes but worth it!! Just gorgeous!
Kristin T — Google review
Small beach, but well located, 20 minutes from Willemstad. It has all the necessary facilities to spend a day at the beach. You can snorkel on both sides of the beach. The food and drinks at the bar and restaurant are very good. Very friendly staff. Beach chairs are rented for US$6.00 each. You have to arrive before 10 to 11 am to find a good spot.
Leonardo P — Google review
I may be in the minority with my review for this beach, but this is my perspective on it. To start with very rude personnel upon entry demanding we throw out our coffees before entering and on the beach charging $9 per chair. Secondly, very poor customer service at the bar where they pretty much questioned my integrity through their actions, after almost refusing me another drink after sharing an insect was found inside the drink. The beach itself is extremely rocky upon entry, which ruined my experience in the water since I was pretty much on rocks the entire time, being that I'm not a swimmer and I normally just stay at shoulder length water. Forgot to mention sand time was spent swatting flies and other native insects . To conclude, a hard pass, one and done.

Blue Bay, Curaçao is a stunning beach with soft white sands and crystal-clear blue waters, making it a must-visit destination on the island. It offers resort amenities such as beach chair rentals, umbrellas or palapas for shade, and high-end restaurant and bar options. The beach is part of a resort but open to the public for an entrance fee. Visitors can also enjoy activities like kayaking and snorkeling in the vibrant underwater world with on-site facilities available.
Nice private beach, heard is the most expensive one to get in to. Good place for snorkeling by the edges of the cove. Bar and restaurant available (not allowed to bring your own food/drinks).
Byle U — Google review
A bit overrated. 14$ entry making it the most expensive on the island. It’s very well kept, but the water was almost green when we came. Snorkelling is pretty good but nothing crazy. For those brave enough, there is a free entry towards the bathroom on the side of the beach. We didn’t go that route, but seemed doable
Arthur B — Google review
5 stars for the beach but for snorkelling you better go to a different beach. It’s the most expensive beach on the island if you don’t live there you need to pay $14 USD entrance fee per person including kids. Parking is free

At Blue Bay your day begins with a warm greeting from Peaches followed by a gorgeous beach, clear, calm water and white sand. How can you not fall in love? A short relaxing swim with a mask will earn you a view of the amazing reef and if you’re a diver, Charlie in the dive shop will make you feel at home. All of the servers are friendly but don’t forget to tip! There are many beautiful beaches on Curaçao but this is the one I will keep coming back to again and again.
Denise P — Google review
Amazing private beach! the best in Curazao. It costs 14 usd/person, and the fee includes chairs and wifi. There's a bar inside where you can buy drinks and food, but you can also enter with your own. Important: The beach is inside a gated/private neighborhood and you need an ID to access
Adrian B — Google review
There is a charge for the beach and beach chairs if you are not staying in the Blue Bay resort. There is plenty of parking near the beach. The sun loungers are not too close together so the beach didn’t feel too crowded. The palm trees provide plenty of shade. There is food and drinks service provided to your sun lounger…just scan the QR code. We found the staff to be very helpful and service to be quick. The sea is easy to access with very few rocks…no water shoes needed.

Fort Beekenburg is a historic Dutch military stronghold dating back to 1703, strategically located near the Tugboat and Caracas Bay in Curacao. The fort was built to defend the Spanish Water and played a crucial role in repelling British forces and pirates. Its round tower, constructed with stone imported from the Netherlands, offers panoramic sea views. Visitors can explore its ramparts adorned with cannons while learning about its rich history.
It is a nice little forest on top of a rock formation on the water. There are some canons, ramparts, inner walls and a tower. You can walk up stairs to the first tower level and a latter to get to the top which gives you amazing views of the area. There is an oil rig and an oil drilling boat directly off the short close to the fort that are actively drilling. It takes away from the views on that side, however, we thought is was pretty neat to see those things up close. There is a small rock climbing area across the streets and a few picnic tables in the fort. It is not good for people with mobile problems as you need to go up steps with no railings to get in. The ground is rocky and uneven and there are stairs and a latter to get in the tower.
Wanderers B — Google review
It is a Nice place that is worth going and visiting. When I went there I only saw a couple of people and that was it. From here you have a nice view of Caracasbai or Tugboat beach. You may also see on photograph the oil platform.
Diego R — Google review
If you love historical structures… a visit is a must. Several stairs to access the Fort with a ladder to get to the top. Free to enter. Several cannons still in place. The cactus are incredibly impressive with their size and views of the bay were beautiful. We visited on a Saturday morning and only saw a handful of people. Check out our full video and other videos of our Curacao adventures on YouTube: Wandered Off

Get there early on a weekday and you will have the entire fort to yourself. You can climb all the way to the top. Be aware the road in has a lot of potholes but the area is well patroled by police. Safe and cool place to visit. Right before the best snorkeling at Tug Boat Beach.
Aaron L — Google review
What a captivating and unique place. Built over 300 years ago. We never could have expected to find such an interesting site out here. You can climb to the top of the fort and view the oil rig. We even saw an iguana chilling. Truly a contrast of two eras between the modern and ancient.

Enjoy the walk up from the beach to the fort's highest point. It is an excellent place to take pictures of the ocean and land. Spanish water is behind you as well.

The Curaçao Museum, located in the western part of Otrobanda, is housed in a colonial-style building that was once a 19th-century hospital. The museum offers an authentic experience and showcases the geological history of Curaçao, pre-Columbian Indian artifacts, maps of America and the Caribbean, as well as exhibits on post-slavery Afro-Curacaoan professions and traditional plantation life.
It was an interesting place to visit and see a bit of the history of the area as I had a great tour guide that gave us a complete tour of the house and everything that was there! I definitely recommend getting a tour guide to walk you through it all as I don’t think there’s enough information to gather while walking through the house! I enjoyed the history in the house though!

A lovely museum with some interesting artifacts What I particularly loved was the seamless integration of modern art alongside the historical pieces. It added a unique and refreshing dimension to the museum experience.
Cat C — Google review
I don't think I have ever given a place one star before, but for the half-hour walk each way, and the$10 entry fee, I believe in warm weather, I would not have gone had I known it wasn't much information. You are basically given and eight and a half by 11 laminated sheet of paper printed on both sides of the different rooms inside the house. Other than that, not much history or anything. I would not recommend this as a stop it was way out of the way. We got way more information from our 4 Hour Island Tour by Irie.

Beautiful building with sprawling grounds. And a secret? They may own a mystery Vincent Van Gough painting…art historian or enthusiast? Get up real close and see if you can make your own determination!
Amber ( — Google review
This museum is in need of serious renovation. There were areas where the water had leaked in and was even filling an exhibit in the kitchen. We were disappointed that although it had some interesting exhibits it fails to be in my opinion a serious museum for the island. Run down and needing serious capital injection. I cannot recommend this for a visit.
Arthur M — Google review
Our tour from the Carnival Horizon took us here. The tour guide was very familiar with the history of the island and a great sport. I have been pronouncing "Caracao" wrong my entire life! Thanks for the tour and allowing us to see what life was like on the island many many years ago! Hope to be back some day.

A small and cute museum filled with history and art. The building was originally the only hospital on the island. There are additional exhibits outside too. Would definitely recommend a visit!

I was expecting to learn more about the island of Curacao, when it was populated and colonized, religion on the island, the elite, pirates, etc. However, this felt more like a haphazard collection of artifacts from a rich family without much explanation. We definitely don't regret going, and the KLM plane from the '30s was very interesting. If you do go, keep your expectations in check and you'll have a fine time.

Den Paradera Herb Garden Curaçao by Dinah Veeris is a rustic and charming garden featuring a diverse collection of herbs and plants deeply rooted in local culture. The garden serves as a repository for traditional remedies used for various ailments, some dating back to the time of slavery when access to doctors was limited. With over 300 plant species, visitors can explore the tranquil grounds while learning about the island's history and indigenous medicinal plants.
Beautiful and well thought out herb and tree garden. Includes all native plants with their medicinal use history. Also sells those products in the store.

Such a nice, calm and relaxing little spot in Curacao! I could’ve honestly spent half the day here just browsing the garden, enjoying the breeze and taking in all the different aromas. Plants are very well labeled throughout and there are various places to sit and read the provided literature while taking it all in. On a very hot day I sought some much needed comfort under the numerous shade trees of the garden. The store sells a variety of products at reasonable prices. I recommend!
Ell T — Google review
Den Paradera is a cool garden with lots of plants ans also some history of the island. It is nice to know the names of plants you see all over Curaçao.
Ria P — Google review
The herb garden is a nice place to visit but the tour was short and not as informative as we had expected. Our guide mentioned how the garden had existed for many years and the founder was working on her 3rd book. We therefore thought we would have a more in-depth experience and a discussion of traditional medicinal uses of native plants and history of plant use on the island. We were introduced to roughly 5 different plants and the focus was largely on their use as musical instruments. The gift shop is small and stocked with herbal teas purported to resolve a number of medical issues. The folklore dance was nice, but short and presented by only two dancers performing to recorded music. Good for a quick visit on the way to other places of interest on the island.

Swim with Dolphins
Dolphin Academy Curacao is a unique oceanfront facility that offers interactive swimming and snorkeling experiences with trained dolphins in the open sea. Located at the popular Sea Aquarium Park, it provides various programs including dolphin encounters suitable for all ages, dolphin swims, dolphin snorkeling, and even open-water scuba dives with dolphins along the reef. One of its highlights is the opportunity to swim side by side with dolphins that choose when they want to interact with you.
This was an amazing and magical experience for my daughter and wife. We did the snorkel swim with the dolphins. The dolphins were very gentle very gentle with the children and very patient. Initially the cost gave me a little bit of a heartburn, but the experience was well worth every penny we paid.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER don’t overthink it JUST GO. It is very clear that the dolphins 🐬 love their trainees and that they are treated right. This was an excellent experience and for the price of snorkeling you can stay at the aquarium. Dolphins are very healthy, smart and agile creatures. You will learn a lot here. They treat them very very good i am glad I did it. The best aquarium i have ever been. JUST GO!! You won’t regret it. And the price it is very FAR almost cheap for all of what you get. Thanks for everything Dolphin Academy

We did the ABC cruise and I wanted my wife to get the opportunity to swim with dolphins. This is the only island that had this opportunity. Amazing place everyone is very friendly and will answer anything you ask. It's really cool they take the dolphins out of their lagoon to open sea often and listening to how they coordinate it. They actually have a YouTube video of them doing it. Definitely can tell they are well cared for and I cannot wait to visit again when we go back to the ABC's! Thank you again for such a memorable visit!

We did the Swimming with Dolphins encounter. Dolphins are really happy and friendly. You spend half hour with them in the water. Diving and swimming around with. The dolphins are allowed out in the open sea. Staff are friendly and really good to explain everything.

while in curacao, we were told to try this out. we were excited for the dolphin swim but cannot begin to explain how much it exceeded our expectations. we expected to float in the water with a bunch of other guests, with dolphins swimming around. it was so much more than that. we were split into smaller groups with each group having allocated dolphins. we spent the entire time directly with our assigned trainer and dolphins who instantly enable you to learn how to interact with the dolphins. we swam, dove and got to interact directly with the dolphins. I highly recommend at least book the swim! it was incredible, thank you again!!

A Magical Experience Swimming with Gentle Dolphins! Swimming with the sweet and gentle dolphins Annie and Rattina was truly an unforgettable experience! They were so playful and kind, and looking into their beautiful, curious eyes was pure magic. The staff made everything easy and enjoyable, and it felt amazing to connect so closely with these incredible animals. I would highly recommend this one-of-a-kind dolphin snorkel at the Curaçao Sea Aquarium — an absolute must-do while visiting the island! 🐬💙
Regina F — Google review
The dolphin snorkel was amazing! We were a family of 4 (kids 12/14) and this was one of the most unique experiences we have done in all our travels. You really get to interact with the dolphins. You do have to tread water for 25 mins, and need to be able to free dive with the dolphins, but it was amazing! They take lots of photos that you can purchase at the end of the event. Julia was the trainer with us, and she answered all our questions and was obviously very bonded with the dolphins. 10/10 for this expierence!! You need to book in advance and give yourself plenty of time for driving and parking.

If you want a GREAT experience with dolphins then you have to go to the Dolphin Academy in Curacao. Noel and Junior are great trainers who are very knowledgeable about the dolphins. They will ask ALL of your questions. You will have such an amazing time and the best part is that pictures are taken during your experience.

Located on the east end of Curacao, The Aloe Vera Farm Curacao is a must-visit destination offering free tours and a fully stocked shop. The farm produces high-quality aloe vera for skincare, health, and beauty products. Visitors are impressed by the effectiveness of the items and the knowledgeable customer service. The tour provides insight into the farm's history, its impact on the community, and showcases various elements contributing to its success such as goats, neem trees, and cactus.
We stopped by this place to pick up Christmas gifts, and the farm is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and charming. The staff is wonderful and helpful too. The gift shop offers a wide range of options, from supplements to facial products, shampoos, and more. I especially love their bug spray; it works really well. They also offer a local discount if you live on the island. If you're interested in learning more about aloe, I highly recommend checking out their tour!

Hello. I just want to say Masha Danki for providing the excellent products you carry. I was there last year and I purchased your aloe gel. I just went to clean a glass carafe that had some stubborn stains in it. I poured very hot water in it. The carafe exploded and hot water went all over my leg. I ran cold water over it and then put your gel on it. So glad I bought it. Your products are excellent and you never know when you might need them. Many thanks.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Aloe Vera Farm! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the workshop was a fun and relaxing experience. The store is beautiful and full of their many products for the face and body made of pure aloe. Staff is very knowledgable. The Jewish Cultural Historical Museum, nestled next to the historic Mikve Israel-Emanuel Synagogue in Curacao, is a captivating destination that invites visitors to explore the rich tapestry of Jewish life on the island. Recently revamped, this museum presents an engaging timeline that connects Curacao's history with global events. Inside, you'll find a treasure trove of artifacts reflecting various aspects of Jewish migration and community life—from domestic items to spiritual relics—donated by local families.
Lovely museum and synagogue! There are no photos allowed in the museum itself, but they let me take a few of the shul itself, which I’ve included here. Make sure you don’t miss the museum, however! When you do go, be sure to read all the commentary on the artifacts and walls. The history of our community in Curaçao is just fascinating. Check out the videos too! It’s just so fascinating and fantastic to see this part of our heritage and feel the energy of thousands of our ancestors who have been coming to this magical place for literally hundreds of years. A Must-Do in Curaçao: The Newly Remodeled Jewish Museum Curaçao Whether you’re a local or visiting Curaçao, there’s a powerful, moving experience you shouldn’t miss, the newly expanded Curaçao Jewish Museum, located right next to the Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the Western Hemisphere. I visited the museum before its renovation… and wow, revisiting it now feels like stepping into an entirely new world of history, emotion, and reflection. The museum has grown, literally and figuratively, now spread across three immersive floors, each telling stories that resonate far beyond the island. I recommend to start on the third floor. Here you'll find the brand-new Anne Frank exhibit. I’ve read her diary before, but seeing it come to life like this, the visuals, the story of her family’s struggle in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, it’s a different experience. It’s raw, emotional, and a reminder of how important it is to keep telling these stories. On the second floor, there’s a story that might surprise many, and that is the story of George Maduro. A Curaçao-born hero who fought during WWII in The Netherlands. His bravery, his betrayal, and his tragic end. You can see artifacts that belonged to George Maduro, letters, uniform and more. Once you see this exhibit, you will never forget it. On the first floor, you’ll find literature, artifacts, and historical items that tie it all together in the gift shop. Some great pieces connected to these new exhibits. The museum also highlights four local Curaçao youth, sharing and learning from their own experiences with bullying, exclusion and discrimination. It’s a powerful bridge between past and present. A reminder that injustice didn’t end with Anne Frank. It’s still around us today and so is resilience. What I loved most about the museum? You can walk through the exhibits at your own pace, and with the use of the digital tour guide, it makes everything even more engaging. The digital tour guide is available in multiple languages. The whole museum is air-conditioned too, which definitely helps while taking it all in. There’s an elevator (a little slow but super handy), and the team is still putting the final touches on some areas, but everything’s up and running. And yes, the original museum and the synagogue are still open to explore. Remember, the synagogue is a place of worship, please be respectful. I spent about two hours in the museum, honestly, I would do it again. It’s emotional, educational, and so beautifully done. This is not just a museum — it’s an experience. A 10/10 for me. The museum is open Monday through Friday, from 09:00 to 16:30. Last entry is at 15:30. Entrance for adults, 13+ is $18/Cg 32,50. Children 0-3 years are free and children between 4-12 is $9/Cg 16,-. Local Residents with I.D. Cg 5,- Add this visit to your Curaçao itinerary. You won’t regret it. #CuracaoJewishMuseum #CuracaoHistory #AnneFrankExhibit #GeorgeMaduro #CuracaoTravel #CulturalExperience #MuseumReview #MustDoInCuracao #CuracaoBreakawayVacation #HeritageMatters

Nestled in the vibrant area of Otrobanda on Curacao's southern coast, the Tula Monument stands as a poignant tribute to a remarkable figure in history. In 1795, Tula, an enslaved man, courageously led a revolt against the brutal oppression inflicted by Dutch slave owners. His declaration of having endured enough suffering resonated deeply with his fellow captives and sparked a fierce battle for freedom that lasted over a month and liberated thousands.
Tula Monument on the south coast of Curaçao. To learn more before you travel here there is the movie The Revolt (2013) that explains the 3 objects of the slave revolt including the wish to not work on Sundays, to buy clothes freely and general freedom of movement. Right along side the road is this monument, hard to miss.

Small rocky beach but very good snorkeling and diving. Very close to Tugboat beach where you can snorkel between the two. Cpawlowic — Google review

Sebastien L — Google review
Hidden gem away from people. Beach is very rocky but the snorkeling is great.
Jerica F — Google review
This was probably our favorite dive spot on the island. It is a very hidden gem. It is not the easiest to get to, and if you don't know it is there you would never find it. Once there, there is a small parking lot at the end of the road with security until late afternoon. Once there, there is a staircase down to the beach. I'd highly recommend shoes here as the beach is very rocky. NOTE: there are no lockers here. There is nowhere to leave your car keys. Either have a hidden lockbox or something for your keys, or someone to sit on the beach with your things. That is the only drawback to the spot. Once in the water, the dive was incredible. SImply go out to the wall and turn right. If you take it easy, you can make it all the way to tugboat. From here we turned around and headed back. We followed the wall to tugboat at about 50', then road the shallow reef back for a completely different experience. Overall parking is easy, there is security, the beach is hidden, and the dive is excellent. Just prepare for a way to secure your keys and belongings.

The Cathedral Labyrinth of Thorns, located just outside Willemstad, is a unique and captivating art installation designed by Herman van Bergen. Constructed entirely from thorns by unemployed youth in Curacao, this cathedral has no religious affiliation but serves as a representation of various world religions. The intricate shrine reflects the artist's vision of unity among different faiths and the potential for humanity to evolve. Visitors can explore the cathedral adorned with artwork by local artists, symbolizing mankind's capacity for transformation.
Beautiful work of art. Very creative and invokes some deep emotions. The cathedral itself is not very large, and it's not really a labyrinth strictly speaking. However, there are art works scattered throughout the entire Cathedral, which makes this a very interesting stop. You should be able to get through the entire thing in about 15-20 minutes if you take your time. This place is also near a few good restaurants, such as De Dames (breakfast) or Number Ten (lunch/dinner) as well as the Curacao distillery, so you can make a nice outing out of it. Break the monotony of going to beaches every day and take in some local culture. Highly recommend!
Armen F — Google review
Interesting use for the many acacia thorns on Curacao. Impressive design has niches for individual artworks
Tom V — Google review
This is a pretty small but cool art instalation. Will take most people maybe 20 minutes, then you're done looking around. But there's also an art gallery just next to it, plus it's in a park with a bunch of weird "found art" displays. I'd recommend going the once per month when they do nighttime events for maximum creepy factor.
Jeff L — Google review
I visited this artwork at night. I am going back during the day. This was very impressive. I spoke with Mr. Herman van Bergen who did this cathedral. In this design similarity in religions can be found. Humanity mistakes. A troublesome history but also a bright future. The walls include art by various local artists also. All expressing mankind's ability to change. Entrance is $20.00. Every month they have perfomances or a special event. It is worth two trips. One by night and one during the days. I highly recommend this.
Rudolf D — Google review

Beautiful art exhibit with layers of messages and pieces. It would be incredible to see it at night. The artist was very happy to engage in his inspiration and meaning, and also to discuss our thoughts. It seems to be evolving over time too, going more than once would be good.

31Three o'clock romance mural

Nestled in the vibrant Scharloo neighborhood of Willemstad, the "Three O'clock Romance" mural by local artist Francis Sling is a captivating sight that you won't want to miss. This stunning piece adorns the Dare building and tells a whimsical tale of two birds who serendipitously meet without planning their next encounter. They both return to the same spot at three o'clock, hoping to reunite.
The east side of Willemstad doesn't have as many murals as the west side, especially in Otrobanda, but this painted house brightens up the Scharloo Neighbourhood

The hike route to Kokomo Beach is a 4.3 km walk along the lake and over the dam, passing by flamingos. The trail offers beautiful sightings of birds, herons, and crabs. It's recommended to avoid climbing the mountain during hot weather but instead enjoy the lush greenery and unique wildlife in Christoffel Park, including giant columnar cacti (kadushi), white-tailed deer, and green iguanas.
(Translated by Google) Lovely walk 4.3 km along the lake and over the dam past flamingo. Not been up the mountain. Too hot (cloudy 8 am. Left) beautiful birds, herons, crabs) Bridge taken last. Indoor playground
When the skies turn gray in Curacao, Kidi's Park at Sambil Mall is your go-to destination for family fun! This expansive indoor playground spans an impressive 600 square meters, providing a safe and air-conditioned environment where children can climb, jump, and slide to their hearts' content. While the kids are busy exploring this vibrant play area designed for ages 2.5 and up, parents can kick back with a warm cup of coffee or indulge in some shopping at the mall.
It’s a perfect place for share with your children while you enjoy a coffee. Is a closed space that’s makes you feel secure and there’s no worry about rain or hot, under roof and air conditioner all the time.

We payed 30 usd for 2 kids for 1 hour ?! 4 jr and 1 jr old Way to expensieve for what you get! Disneyland is cheaper. And a lot of dust everywhere pls clean this mess little kids are playing ffs.
Nedim — Google review
Great place to escape the heat! Kids just love this place. From baby till ... I've seen 10 year olds having a blast at this place. It's safe and it's clean and in Sambil, that mean airco. You can also plan your kid's bday over here. Good tip as an adult who wants to kill his time with your laptop orso, bring a good headset with you. Those kidsongs will hunt you all day.

Children's indoor play area that has slides, ball pits, mazes, rocking horses, and a small carousel. Prices are reasonable, had a toddler enter for only $5 USD. Parents admission is free. There is a small food court area with chairs for the parents that have rotating daily specials for $6 to $7 NAF. I didn't try it, so no comment on the food quality. Area is brightly colored and looks fairly clean. The mall has free Wi-Fi which is spotty, but manageable. Great alternative to keep kids out of the sun for a while and have them expel some energy.
James K — Google review
Very good intertainment for kids. But the prices is killing me when I reach there with 3 or 4 kids 🤦🏻‍♂️ Its about $15 for a kid for 1 hour
Lorne Z — Google review
The place is great for kids, not so safe for babies though. So I would say it's good for kids starting from 2.5 years and up. Parents can join the kids too. Everybody should wear socks while in the playing area, both adults and kids. That's a plus. It's a bit expensive though but the kids can play for long hours. So that will compensate the high entrance fee. I would advise to stay with your kids since parents can access the play area as well. So for safety of your kids.

Great playground for toddlers and little children. Our daughter (3) loves to play and meet her friends at Kidi's place. Children mist wear socks at all times. But, did you forget socks? Not a problem. You can buy one at the cashier. Only the child pays at the door. Parents enter for free. But remember that you must not leave your child unattended. I know it is difficult to resist the urge to go shopping in Sambil and although therw is supervission from personell, you should never leave your children without adult supervission at the park.

Curacao Poker is the premier and exclusive poker establishment on the island. It offers daily cash games in both HoldEm and Omaha variants. The service provided by the staff is impeccable, with a dedicated cocktail bar within the poker room serving exceptional cocktails that pleasantly surprised visitors. Alongside the fantastic cash games, Curacao Poker also boasts a tranquil casino environment, making it an ideal destination for sports betting enthusiasts.
Nice and small venue where the locals meet and face the tourists. I was in a 2/4 NLH game. Many people with minimum buy ins at first. Later the buy ins got bigger. Free alcoholic beverages and very nice personal (dushi!). Great venue when you are looking for a friendly atmosphere with a friendlly buy in. I def. recommend.
Ralph R — Google review
I've played poker around the world and this was the WORST place I've ever played. I actually counted up this morning just how many poker rooms I've played in to put some perspective. it's 52 rooms, mostly in the US but also in the Caribbean and in multiple European countries. And yes, this was the worst. The room itself is small. There are 3 tables but the two times we went, only one table was open. They were about to have a "big" tournament soon, they said, which would be perhaps 30 people so apparently one cash game is usual. Blinds were 2-4 and most players bought in for between 80 and 200 dollars. There was a poker room manager, whio also rotated as a dealer along with one other dealer. The manager seemed competent and the other dealer barely so. He had trouble sometimes making change, for example. The tables were nice and the chairs were comfortable. It was the players themselves that were really awful. My husband and i appeared to be the only non-regulars. With the exception of one, the other players were erratic and hyper-aggressive, loose. They would bet, call or shove with absolutely anything at all, making it impossible to put anyone on anything at all. A few players like that at a table can make it interesting and fun, but 6 or 7 of them creates chaos. And chaos it was. Players were loud and obnoxious, screaming and cursing often. It was common to see one player show his cards to his neighbor, despite regular "show one, show all" rule being posted. I also saw something I've not seen before, which was a player several times reaching out to turn over an opponent's hand that had been mucked face down after the hand was over. Neither the dealer nor other players seemed to think that was an issue. Because shoving all in was so common. many players rebought multiple times so the game plays deeper as the night goes on. Regular preflop raises were anywhere from 16 to 100, but as i said, preflop shoves were relatively common. With only two players in a hand, players have the option to "run it twice" and after a while, i realized that the all-in move in the middle of the hand with the bet completely out of proportion to the pot size was evidently a strategy to get heads-up so they could run it twice. I was pushed out of several pots because i didn't want to risk 100 or 200 dollars for the 15 or 20 I'd invested in the pot. We love poker and have played many places but if we come back to Curacao, we wouldn't play here again, nor will we be going back the rest of the trip. And for poker afficionados like us who have played in some rooms with crazy play, that says a lot. Even if you like poker, or especially if you c like poker, i would ship this place because this plays more like bingo. But without the colorful daubers.

Was at the Dreams/Zoetry hotel for a week and there wasn’t even one game going during my whole trip. July 10th to 17th 2023 for reference. You should definitively put a wait list at the entry of the casino and call/text player when you got enough player … That would be a more proactive way of getting players because there were some when talking around at the roulette/ black Jack table…

The best and only legitimate Poker Room on the island. Daily Hold’Em and Omaha cash games offered. Service is great as there is a cocktailbar that services the poker room with one of the best cocktails i have had on the island which was a pleasant surprise.

Located in the heart of Willemstad, Harbor Hotel & Casino Curacao offers a cozy stay with 45 rooms overlooking the picturesque St. Anna Bay harbor. The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of various local attractions such as shops, bars, clubs, movie theaters, and restaurants. Guests can easily explore cultural and historical landmarks like the Queen Emmas Bridge, Kura Hulanda Museum, and the floating market nearby. Visitors praise the stunning views of St.
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily and came equipped with a great TV, a Nespresso machine, and a mini fridge. The Wi-Fi and the towel service were also excellent throughout our stay. However, the body gel, shampoo / conditioner were somewhat average. The included breakfast was excellent, but having the same offering every day for two weeks did become a bit monotonous. I would strongly recommend adding more variety to the breakfast, such as omelettes, pastries, chicken sausages, vegetables etc. Also, please consider offering an alternative to Gouda cheese, as it does not hold up well in temperatures over 30°C. The location is excellent — both in terms of exploring the island and enjoying the surrounding area, which features fantastic nearby restaurants. The view of the Queen Emma Bridge and the proximity to Kura Hulanda are major highlights. Do note, however, that this hotel does not have a beach. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

The room had an unpleasant smell at times, even though the staff cleaned it daily. The shower could really use a thorough scrubbing with bleach. However, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is probably its greatest asset.

My wife had an allergic reaction to the mushrooms I bought so we took some time from sailing to stay here for 3 nights. Mushrooms are legal in Curaçao and she took way too many. What a wonderful stay we had. Affordable rate, excellent location and wonderful staff.

Nice little casino. Staff was nice, drinks were free. They offer a straight exchange allowing you to play with guilders or USD. blackjack is 6 deck shoe, 3-2, no hole card (lose doubles and splits to a dealer BJ), $10 mins in the evening.

Went to gamble in the casino. I ask blackjack dealer what the ante is. $6.5USD. I put cash down. Pitboss then says the ante is $14USD. I put that down. Pitboss then says ante is $30USD. I collected my money and left. Don’t gamble here. Getting cheated on before the first hand is even dealt.

This is a scam. We got a win on roullette and the lady pretended we didn't. Once we asked why we didn't get the reward she lied that we played on the next game. When we protested she gave back the bet (without the win!!) and she put it herself on black (??). We immediately cashed out. Also the guy "winning" in roullette is a casino employee and he just pretends to play and win. In that place u lose or u lose (even when u win) so dont go. A real shame for real gamblers like me.
