Nestled along the picturesque banks of Princess Royal Harbour, Due South is a spacious bar and eatery that perfectly captures the essence of Albany's vibrant dining scene. With its airy interior and stunning views to the south, it's an ideal spot for enjoying a leisurely meal or drinks with friends. The menu features a delightful array of dishes, including locally sourced seafood and share plates, complemented by an impressive selection of craft beers and wines exclusively from the Great Southern region.
The menu presented great pub fare; generous serves, fresh, crisp, hot, and flavoursome, the mussels being a standout! No need to book in, with plenty of tables inside. We were seated quickly and service was prompt and friendly, bonus is live music on Sundays! Thanks!!

Very much a pub vibe here, but in a good way. The place is huge, with plenty of seating, a solid pub-style menu, and a good range of drinks. We had the pizza, which was really tasty, and the view of the Wind Farm from the venue is a nice touch.
Rafaela H — Google review
We stopped in at Due South Albany for lunch and a few cold beers, and it was the perfect place to unwind by the water before our whale watching tour. The venue has a relaxed, open feel with great views of the harbour, making it ideal for a casual afternoon. We ordered the BBQ pork ribs and mussels, and both dishes were excellent. The ribs were tender, smoky, and full of flavour, while the mussels were fresh and served in a rich, tasty broth. Everything paired perfectly with a couple of icy beers straight from the tap. Service was friendly and laid-back, and our meals came out quickly. Overall, it was a really enjoyable lunch, good food, great drinks, and an easygoing atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Albany.

Huge portions and great value for money. Pretty standard pub food but quite nice. Good atmosphere and large seating area with lots of tables.
Jess C — Google review
Average pub style venue, and food was very average. Salad was drenched in dressing and over powered the salad. The hickory sauce on the ribs was too strong and salty that you couldn’t taste the meat. The fillet steak was nice (ordered medium rare, came out medium) but wasn’t worth $65 (very over priced for a ‘pub’ meal! Disappointing 🤨
Garth R — Google review
Popular place on a Saturday but that just added to the popular vibe this place has on the waterfront. We ordered the fried chicken, salad and halloumi plus drinks. Just right for a grazing Saturday evening. Menu is pretty varied and it seems a hit with the locals. Happy to recommend.
Shaun L — Google review
Been here a few times and this was a most disappointing evening for sure... I just read a review from 8 months ago with the same complaint, so I guess Due South don't read these + nor care about fixing them... Heads up DO NOT ORDER THE DUE SOUTH CHICKEN PARMIE... This is a monstrous meal that costs $35.00 a pop and is completely tasteless... My wifes meal was cold... 2 pale ales and 2 chicken parmigiana = $100 bucks... Rosie's chicken at a service station has more flavour... We ate the chips and the over saturated salad and left... My wife wanted an icecream on the way out... 2 serves $19.00... Disappointed to say the least...
Christopher P — Google review
I ordered chicken parmi’s for takeaway this was how they arrived.. I get it was busy but stop taking orders if the quality of food is going to be like this. They tasted gross, like they’d been cooked in old oil. Burnt too. Really upsetting as it cost me $75 (for 2 parmi’s & a hot choc). I usually have a good experience here at Due South but this was so bad that I actually felt like I needed to write a review. Not on. Don’t serve customers food like this.

Loved it all! First time to the pub in Albany! My hosts brought me to this locale as they are frequent visitors and love the food and atmosphere! I completely concur after last night's supper! Book a table beforehand as it was really bustling with ppl on a Friday night. The food? Delicious! The Earl Crew were so hospitable and made sure the food and drink were to our liking...expectations exceeded! From this Canadian, thank you for a great experience! Highly recommend!
Kerry G — Google review
The atmosphere was nice, especially the outdoor area. If you come here just for a 6 place is awesome 👌 lots of options. I ordered steak, medium rare, it came out rare, no problem at all. But there's no charcoal taste on the steak, no veggies, only peas. My husband and son ordered the pie, and it's a bit salty. Basically, all you can taste is just the Guinness gravy. Are we going to be back there? Hmm, not for the steak, maybe just for drinks

This is my second time to Albany for business in my new role, and the second time I have been to The Earl of Spencer for dinner. I will never go anywhere else and cannot recommend this place enough! The vibe is awesome, warm and cosy, nice and busy with the chatter of diners and happy smiley attentive staff who remembered my name! There is plenty of parking and heaps of tables. I feel incredibly welcomed and accommodated and of course the food and drinks are amazing too! Shout out to Chelsea and Pete and Cam for being AMAZING! I watch how hard they work and their interactions with all of the clientele both young and old, local and from afar, and without them, this place would not be the same! Thank you!! 🤩👍🏽💃🏽🙏🏼

Probably the most stingy Sunday Roast you will ever come across. One small slither of fatty lamb and flavourless vegetables to boot. Very loud music, to the point where you need to yell at other people even from the other side of the room. One saving grace was a very generous amount of sauce to go with the $5 sticky date which was good value.

Welcoming: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beverage: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value for Money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ease of parking: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Revisit: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a very warm welcoming into a great building and lovely restaurant. Plenty of food, however, i had better food option before. Secondly, the long black was quite bad, if you are not dying for a coffee needs, please do not order the long black. Most of the food menu does pair with alcohol, it may not be good option for someone who need to drive after eating. but the interior and the historical building was one of the main reason why we were there and it was so cool on how the historical photos being presented. I think the steak was overcooked, the fish was just nice. The food can absolutely be better.
Lim S — Google review
We both ordered the scotch steak with an extra side of peppercorn sauce. Both steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare with a nice crust. The chips on mine were well cooked and mash on my partners was smooth. I think $52.5 including garlic prawns is a decent price compared to other options in Albany. We will definitely return when we’re back in Albany.
H M — Google review
Had a great Fathers day here. Can't fault the place for a quaint lil pub hidden behind the main streets. The food was amazing and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The kids nature playground was a hit with the lil ones. We'll be back again.

Liberté is a charming and popular bar and restaurant located in Albany, offering a fusion of French and Vietnamese inspired share plates. Nestled within the historic London Hotel, this venue exudes Parisian-themed decor with renaissance artworks and Boehme furnishings. It's known for its versatile offerings including beers, wines, cocktails, live music, and entertainment options. The cozy atmosphere combined with delectable Vietnamese cuisine makes it a must-visit spot in Albany's trendy scene.
Loved this place! So beautiful inside and service was friendly and accommodating. Loved the furnishings. The chicken salad was amazing! Absolutely loved the red wine that I searched for the winery. Brussel sprouts entree was so good, a little spicy but best we’ve had apart from what we do at home with them. We didn’t have dessert though as there was no dairy free or vegan options for it.

This place was such a cool experience. I was recommended by a friend to check it out. Loved the layout it was awesome. Very retro felt like you went back in time. Food was tasty! Love the loaded fries with brisket, pork belly was tasty, bao also tasty and fried rice was nice if you like the taste of lemon grass and I do. Nothing to complain about there. Cocktails were also nice but on the pricer side. For two starters, two mains and a cocktail each it was $160. Definitely happy I went and can say I've done it.
Tegan M — Google review
We were recommended to try out this restaurant while visiting Denmark. Beautiful setting and quick service from the waitress. Abit of a wait from the kitchen. Non carbs items are yummy. We had the chicken liver parfait, crispy pork belly, loaded fries, fried rice and crab noodles. Chicken liver parfait (6pcs)- pleasant taste but inconsistent amount on the liver. Some had generous amount some only a dollop on a prawn cracker. Crispy pork belly - crispy with beetroot salad. Very small portion. Not a size for sharing as per the menu ‘sharing is caring’ Loaded fries with brisket - spicy. Kids couldn’t eat it. Average Fried rice for kids - not suitable for kids at all. Spicy and taste like tomyum fried rice. Only carbs barely any meat The famous garlic crab noodles - without any crab. $36 with all carbs. Some cheese and greens on top. Overpowering sauce like pad Thai. If u are going for the crab. Then avoid this as there isn’t any in it.

Food = 10/10. Unfortunately I will not return unless this place has a massive revamp. I am not sure if this is intentional but it feels like you are at a family lunch at an elderly relatives home where you have to find any part of the living area to sit and eat. Me and my two friends were sat on a small stage in the corner with three arm chairs and a coffee table which was quite uncomfortable. The couple beside us were seated at a desk and there was another group sat on two long couches with a long coffee table in the middle. In our opinion, the general aesthetic, cleanliness and atmosphere of the restaurant does not match the high prices of the food and alcohol at this venue. It smells like moth balls, curtains are dusty, there is visible mould and the ceiling is starting to cave in. Unfortunately we are aware there is no other venue like this in Albany so Liberte can get away with being a dump that sells quality food. Service was decent (for Albany)

We literally stumbled upon this place after a long drive from Perth, and it was beyond fabulous. The wait staff were super friendly and the food was fantastic! We had the fried Brussels sprouts with sriracha and a fresh, crunchy and spicy chicken salad. Just the thing to pep us up. Great drinks list and the vibe was spot on. Thanks for a great night - set the Albany bar high!
Anne G — Google review
We had a lovely night at Liberté! The staff were friendly and food was delicious. We ordered our drinks and food, and it was ready within minutes. Our booking was at 8:30pm so it probably wasn’t too busy around that time. The food was bursting with flavours but it’s a bit pricey and portions aren’t too big. The french fries with pho gravy tasted amazing but got salty with each bite. The pork belly just melts in the mouth. I also love the addition of the kaffir lime in the fried rice. The crab noodles was tasty but it got too sour and salty for me as I kept eating it. Overall it was a lovely experience and will definitely be back to try the other foods in the menu.

Wilson Brewing Company, established in 2016 by Matty and Jessica Wilson, is a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts. The brewery offers an immersive experience where visitors can learn about the brewing process while sampling their latest experimental beers. The Wilson Food Van ensures that guests are well-fed with delicious "dude food." Situated in Albany, this rustic brewery provides a laid-back atmosphere complete with quirky merchandise, pinball machines, and pool tables.
Great vibes! Deceptive look from out front but as you head inside, massive open space with awesome summer vibes. Open front with sweet breeze and some old pub vibes. Beers are great with a load of choices for beer and non beer drinkers. The staff are very friendly and helpful with choices and local knowledge. We didn't get a chance to eat there but it looked and smelled good! Great brewery stop!

What an awesome location for a brewery in possibly one of the old buildings in Albany and was well impressed the choice of beers available on tap. Have to say, I enjoyed a middy while enjoying the late afternoon soon sat outside.

Fun place! We sat at a high table with delicious nachos with mixed beans, roasted bell pepper, a salsa, jalapeños, cheese on tortilla chips. Yum! We had a good hazy IPA and a delicious cab merlot. The beer menu was truly impressive!
Marsha R — Google review
A rustic pub, very cozy, with live music, a pool table, etc. We were lucky enough to be there for the Halloween party and karaoke. It was very funny and everyone was so happy! Great vibes! We had the nachos and loaded fries, plus their beer. Good size, flavour, and price. It was an amazing experience for sure.
Katy P — Google review
Awesome brews, good food, and relaxed vibes, with no gimmicks, frills or fuss required to make Wilson's a great choice for any evening. Of particular note was the onion rings, chicken burger, generous pizzas, and impressive kids meal that came out with a few snackable veggies and cheeky Freddo to polish it off (or a handy bribe). A very worthy addition to the terrace that we will definitely be back to.
Molly B — Google review
Spectacular! It’ll ruffle feathers, but I rate Wilson Brewing as one of the best breweries in WA, if not Australia wide. Incredible beers, imaginative, relevant, delicious, satisfying. They are reliable, and available in most bottle shops. But if you ever find yourself travelling through Albany, do not miss this place. It’s a rustic, easygoing, fun area, full of quirky merch and signage, pinball machines, pool tables, all the good things you want while enjoying a delicious pint (or two+). They also serve all the food you want to have over an ale, and they produce it in mouth-watering fashion. Best thing about it (especially for animal lovers), they have a resident car, Barley. Gorgeous placid little furball (see photos). Been a while since my last review, as I wait till something compels me to review, and this experience was more than worth it.
Antonio F — Google review
A shed of a brewery. Don’t let first impressions deceive you as this place makes really good beer. Their food is as good as their alcoholic liquid gold. Dude food is the name of the game and their food is very tasty and quite filling. Had the tasting paddle of beer and loved their ginger beer. It tastes as good as Boston Brewery Tingletop but being a Albany local this is one pretty tasty alcoholic ginger beer. Had a good experience of this place as can play pool waiting for your food. Also you get to meet the resident cat which reminds me of Garfield 😂
Hospitality I — Google review
Very unpretentious, rustic brew pub with pool tables, pin ball machines & live music. In door & and outdoor seating. Menu was limited, but food was very tasty. They use as much local produce as possible. Beef on the loaded fries was fantastic. Great range of beer- 3 different tasting paddles available. Loved the sour strawberry beer - Scurvy Nights!

We’ve been in Albany for 4 nights, and this meal has to be the best meal we’ve had since we’ve been here!! Welcoming was friendly and warm on entry; the wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The steaks were exceptionally tasty, cooked to perfection. The sides complimented the steaks perfectly. Thoroughly recommend Rustlers Steakhouse to all that visit Albany. Best steaks in the region!!

This place is amazing. Friendly staff, best steaks, Presentation perfect.on all dishes. Even on Grand final day that was mayhem busy. The place is a well oiled machine. Loved the sticky chicken noodle salad too. If haven't been it's a must do while in Albany. 10/10 could not fault..
Kelly P — Google review
Awesome friendly welcoming service and an extremely busy steakhouse with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed their Cheesy Garlic bread to start with while we decided on the mains which I couldn't resist their prime eye fillet steak and the bake potato as it's rare that it's offered as a side. Couldn't knock the quality of the piece of meat but unfortunately, quite over cooked and way off the medium rare I ordered. Baked potato, Mr Potato Head's sacrifice wasn't worth it, no crispy skin and way too much cream. The other main my wife went with was the chicken as she isn't the biggest steak lover, similar story, over cooked and dry as a bone :( Shame, we had really high expectations due to all the reviews.
Nigel — Google review
What an amazing night we had. We booked a table for our Book Club night and asked to be in a more private area if possible. Boy did they deliver! We were able to have a section of the booth (we were warned that we might not be able to due to school holidays) and I was able to decorate our table the way we wanted. The food was sensational. Great portion sizes and so tasty. The talk around the table was that the corn ribs were the best they’ve ever tasted. My steak was cooked to perfection, 2 of us were celiac and they were able to have a grilled chicken instead of the crumbed for their ‘schnitzel’ choice, and the chips and potatoes are all gluten free with a designated gluten free fryer (WOW!!) so great to be assured they wouldn’t be “glutened”. We spent between $60 and $70 per person including drinks. But there are a lot of great options between the $25-$35 range which is fantastic. Thank you to the amazing server who looked after us.
Louwana D — Google review
Great experience here. Steak was cooked perfectly Mashed potatoes were perfect and creamy. The corn ribs were the best I’ve ever had. The garlic butter they are in was great I tipped it all over my steak. Server was probably too attentive for my liking but she did a great job.
Dylan A — Google review
Came into this restaurant with a lot of expectations since the ratings and comments in Google maps were are very good. I will provide my objective perspective as someone who does a fair bit of grilling. We ordered the following: starters - cheesy garlic bread and jalapeños poppers. Mains were scotch fillet and tenderloin and I requested for medium rare. The starters were good. Garlic bread was cheesy and nicely toasted. Jalepenos poppers was nicely done. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Mains - the tenderloins was done per medium rare request. Beef was juicy and the glaze nicely done. The mashed potatoes were perfect; creamy and moist. The scotch fillet was a disappointment. We asked for medium rare and it came medium in some areas. The meat was dry and not as juicy, probably it was overcooked. The mushroom sauce of ok, not something I would shout about. For a restaurant of this quality, that I would say is a disappointment.

It caters to all tastes, ages, and occasions with its relaxed atmosphere and long-time menu favorites for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or light snacks.
I really enjoyed the breakfast i had at Dylans while visiting albany. Before ordering omelette I asked the staff if i could swap bacon with chicken as i cant have bacon because of religious reason. The staff was really cordial with the request and she took extra precautions while making my order. We took omelettes, steak sandwich, blueberry pancakes and coffees. Everything was so tasty. Specially the coffee. I took hazelnut latte, it was probably the best one i had in WA so far. 10/10 recommend ♥️

We’re passing through Albany on our travels across WA, found Dylans on our walk, and glad we did! 👌 Place was very busy, people waiting to be seated, which usually means it’s good! We just wanted some takeaway coffees and started to worry it might be a long wait, but I was served very quickly and they got started on our coffees right away! Coffee and cake came out very fast, coffee is great and cake was very tasty! Highly recommended, thank you very much!

Bustling Cafe which is always a good sign. Inviting, clean, nice decor and great service. The food was great too and a good menu selection. Prices are comparable with other cafes. Plenty of street parking, dine inside or outside with harbour views. Well worth a visit when in Albany.

Stopped in for breakfast while visiting Albany, we were treated immediately and shown a table by a very capable gentleman who had the front seating and order taking completely under control. Coffees came quickly and were great, big breakfast arrived for Hubbie and they kindly did a half serve of bacon and eggs and between us both we could not eat it all it was a very generous serve. Pic snapped half way though.

We came to Dylans on a Sunday for having lunch inside the restaurant. We ordered a burger and the chicken and avo sandwich. Both of them were nice (nothing spectacular but nice, haha). Been here multiple times ! My sister in-law’s favorite in Albany. They do have decent size of cocktails and the price is okay. But the food is kind of pricey, chips will cost you 14 dollars…That’s a little bit ridiculous….. in Melbourne a big stadium with events will only cost 8 dollars. Recommending pork belly , pasta, fish&chips, chicken parmigiana and the lamp meat balls also~

Limited options for dinner on a Monday night, then we saw the lovely twinkly welcoming lights of Six Degrees. Had burgers which were really yummy and well priced(Vege and chicken) chips were excellent. Very efficient Irish lady serving us think she was having a bad day, or maybe just better suited to a non customer facing role. But we enjoyed ourselves regardless.

The food was decent, and the beer selection was fine, though not overly impressive. The service was friendly, but things slowed down when it got busier.

Nestled within the Dog Rock Motel, Lime 303 is a culinary gem that showcases the best of Modern Australian cuisine. This contemporary restaurant prides itself on using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the Great Southern Region of Western Australia. Amazing service from the moment we entered! The atmosphere is spot on, from the dimmed mood lighting to the decor, furniture, menu, staff etc. We were served by Valentina who was so lovely, very attentive & made the experience even better! This is all before you even try the food…. We ordered the scallops, garlic prawn crepe and pork belly bites. Honestly 10/10, all three dishes were mouth watering, we couldn’t even choose a favourite they were all so so good! Cocktails were also delicious, highly recommend booking here for dinner!!! Thankyou for a top star dinner date Lime 303, we will definitely be back!

OMG, if you want a fine dining experience in Albany you must go to Lime 303. The food simply delicious and beautifully presented, the beverage list is extensive, the deserts are an artwork, and the service was simply outstanding. Our thanks to Senior wait staff member Katrina, who expertly guided Peter through learning his craft. Big shout out to Peter who learnt it was my birthday and brought out the desert complete with a candle. Simple, elegant, and thoughtful. It made my day. Do yourself a favour and reserve your table today at Lime 303.

Absolutely AMAZING! Great food, and fantastic service. We were recommended by a friend to try Lime 303, and oh dear we loved it. The garlic prawn crepe was finger-licking delicious, and the special red cocktail was 10/10! Staff were super nice and friendly. We’ll come back next time we’re visiting Albany ☺️

What a wonderful dining experience! I wasn't expecting this nice of a restaurant since we were staying at the Dog Rock Motel, which wasn't as upscale as this restaurant. We had a large group, everyone ordered something different and everyone was very pleased. I had the lamb dish, it was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Service was attentive and friendly. I wish we had been able to go here for our second night, but we didn't make reservations and they couldn't seat us. Too bad! I wanted to try some other items on the menu.

Delicious dinner with friends for a special birthday.. The food and service was awesome.. We were looked after by a lovely Indonesian lady and a young girl with long hair that gave a great recommendation for the main which was a Carbonara with a twist, it was so yum and highly recommend (not something I would usually order at a restaurant but very glad I did and would have that again and again) We had the pannacotta for desert so many delicious flavours. The cocktails were also very good. Looking forward to coming back soon!!

As visitors travelling around southern WA we were hanging out for a “non-pub” meal with a menu not made up of the usual fare. After lots of online research, we decided to put our trust in Lime 303 and, fortunately, we were not disappointed. The food and service were equal to that we could get anywhere. Staff were friendly and efficient while all 3 courses were delightful. Entrees of calamari and pork belly, mains of lamb loin and Scotch fillet and desserts of panna cotta and warm chocolate sponge were all top rate. Even the coffee was spot on. The ambience was also perfect for a lovely meal. Thank you for making our dinner in Albany a memorable one!

Food & service were amazing. Me & hubby had a lovely time enjoying their delicious oysters, calamari, steak & dessert. Will be back again. Room's a bit dark but I guess that's to make it romantic? 😆

Fantastic experience and service. Were slightly understaffed causing slightly longer wait times but not an issue. The food was fantastic and unique but over priced for size which was the only negative. Clean artistic vibe with good table sizings

Restaurant
Joop Thai Restaurant is a delightful place offering standard Thai cuisine prepared under the supervision of an Aussie owner and Thai partner. The restaurant provides gracious and friendly service, along with prompt and tasty dishes. It's fully licensed, so you can enjoy reasonably priced glasses of wine. Families find it to be a great choice for special occasions due to its comfortable atmosphere, generous portions, and quality food. The option to order individual entree pieces allows for a variety of flavors in one meal.
This Restaurant Is Really Good! Authentic Thai Food. Really Good Customer service. Really calm and quiet. We ordered the Chicken Fried Rice. Honestly It was good but it was a bit like sticky I’d say. We ordered the Chicken Satay. Top Notch! It was amazing!! It has Vegetarian Options. 🌱. It also has Gluten Free 🆓 Options as well! Couple Pictures and The Menu is below.

very filling meal, had to get a take away box half way through. tasted amazing, presentation was on point and server did well. spent around $90 and brought nuea ka-tha, thai green currry, small jasmine rice, sticky rice & taro and 2 drinks.

The restaurant's ambiance was beautifully crafted in traditional Thai style, with the owner herself dressed in authentic Thai attire. It created an atmosphere that truly made us feel like we were dining in Thailand. 🥰 The menu offered an impressive variety of dishes, from flavourful stir-fries to aromatic curries. Following the owner's recommendation, we tried the 3-Way Duck, Green Curry with Chicken, and Tom Yum Soup. Every dish was full of authentic flavours. While the prices were slightly higher than what you'd find at Thai restaurants in Perth, the quality and generous portion sizes made it well worth it! We'll definitely be returning. If you're undecided about where to eat, this should be your top choice in town.

Mixed experience. BAD SERVICE. Good food. Nice ambience Went there in the 2nd week of April 2025. Family of 6. Nice big place with plenty of parking. Exterior n interior were both good. Wasana was kind. David was rude. Authentic Thai with large options to choose from. No greetings, no thanks, no goodbyes, few smiley faces (very non-australian). No one came to take our order, had to go to front desk to give my order. Don't like restaurants which don't allow food from outside. I understand it is their right n policy but i believe its not polite. Just my opinion.
Dani B — Google review
We came here after reading the google reviews, and quite surprised with the interior design which was so Thailand. We ordered chicken egg noodles, at first we didn't expect much, as the name itself is not that tempting but when they served it, it blows our mind! The fried noodle was so tasty!! Right after the first menu, the others came to follow: fish cake, tom yum, sweet and sour pork. All are impressive.. our tummy are more than happy to find such flavourful ones on the sixth day of our road trip in WA. Definitely one of the best, even compared to the one we had in Perth; the highlight was of course the sweet sour pork, it's a differrent version from the chinese one. This one is beyond!! Forget to take photo of it, but we had our last chuck to complete the review ;) It can be said, the chef and the owner are really put some efforts on the details, even their rice and table water are much better than other places so far.

I’m always on the hunt for the best Tom Yum wherever I travel, and this one definitely hit my taste palate. The only issue was that the soup wasn’t hot enough.
Suzanne T — Google review
Mixed experience as well. Service not great was more like a sales pitch to sell more dishes. Other thai places in Albany make way better and authentic thai food. This restaurant will not see me again soon, especially with the other local choices available around town.
Wesley V — Google review
Fancied some authentic Thai food on a visit from Perth. Thought we would try here. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was nice inside. But the food was quite oily and greasy, even the omelette was dripping in oil. Not very impressed and wouldn't visit again.

Bakery
Bred Co Sourdough Bakery, established in 2017 by Rhiannon Moon and Sam Dawson, initially operated as a small bakery at the weekly Albany Farmers Market. In 2020, they expanded to a physical location offering their exceptional sourdough bread and baked goods daily. The bakery showcases an array of pastries including light croissants and lemon myrtle scrolls, as well as takeaway sandwiches and sausage rolls with unique fillings like pork and pear.
Bred Co has a vibe all its own — warm, welcoming, and always buzzing with locals in the know. I’ve been buying and enjoying their incredible bread for over 10 years — first at the Albany Markets, then at their bakehouse in the Business Centre, and now at their buzzing, artisan bakery at the top of town. There is truly no other bakery in the region like it. I just had to hop on and give them a shoutout because I’ve seen a few negative posts recently and honestly — they feel fake or completely off the mark. This place is the real deal. This is true farm-to-table food. They source local organic grain, mill it in-house, and craft the most delicious sourdough loaves you’ll find anywhere. There’s so much to choose from: wholemeal, rye, fruit loaf, baguette, high-top, even a gluten-free option. And then — the croissants. Their viennoiserie (croissants, danishes, and other pastries) are made entirely from scratch, right here in Albany — something most people don’t realise. Everyone else buys them in frozen or freighted down, unless they’re smart enough to get them wholesale from Bred Co. These are next level — buttery, flaky, and always seasonal. No tinned fruit in sight! My darling 82-year-old mother lives for her delivery of almond croissants and the latest sweet (or savoury) Danish, always paired with a perfect extra-hot latte. If you’re after lunch, their sandwiches, quiches, sausage rolls and pies are also made fresh and follow the seasons — simple, thoughtful, and full of flavour. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the vibe is always relaxed and inviting. The only downside? If you turn up too late, your favourites might already be sold out. But honestly, that’s just proof of how loved this place is.

The best spot in Albany for me :))) When I came, most of the places were closed or would be closed soon. I passed by this bakery and I found out one of the best bakery in WA. The filling in the lamb pastry is huge and tasty althoughI don't like lamb baked commonly. The lemon cream roll is absolutely gorgeous and the sour is perfect level. So sad I can't stay another day to try other flavours of croissants. If this bakery were in my hometown, I'd come over every weekend.
Minh L — Google review
This was my first visit to Bred. I ordered 2 large flat whites with an extra shot in each and 2 baguettes. $28 I noticed they looked like cappuccinos. When I checked if I had my order and not someone else's, I was told it was my order. I mentioned that I had received caps instead of flat whites. They asked if I would like them replaced, and I said its ok. I probably should have got them replaced, but I was a bit time poor on the day, and we don't mind the occasional cappuccino. Walking back to the car, I tried the coffee. It was under extracted and bitter. Both coffees were like a single shot in a large coffee. I paid for extra shot, so they should have had 3 and strong. The baguettes were not very good. In my opinion, the structure was dense.
Andrew S — Google review
Cute little bakery, yummy bread and pastry treats. Love that they serve the coffee in those beautiful pottery mugs. Only recommendation: Please bring back the salmon bagels. They were the best salmon bagels I have ever had and one of the reasons why I would come by.

Never had a bad treat from here always something nice the sticky date cronut thing is lovely. Barista, well depends who is on is either really good or really bad. I have otherfriendas that got the not good barista and they said the coffee is horrible. I dont trink coffee only chai.

Gluten free bread, I like that. Coffee was really nice. Also got some lil rolls that I think will go very well with some cheese.
Ben C — Google review
Do not waste your time. The staff was rude and rolled his eyes when I asked questions about the bread. Paid $9 and it is actually burnt on the top and a brick. It is actually inedible. Would never visit again.
Danelle S — Google review
Come here for their bread and it’s not disappointed me. The baguette 🥖 is really good! Recommend! Chewy and crispy! But I don’t like the croissant 🥐 so much it’s more like a combined croissant and bread, don’t have the light taste. Coffee is ok, we bought 2 packs of coffee beans 🫘 will try when we back home.

Venice Pizza Bar & Restaurant is a vibrant and inviting Italian eatery located in the heart of Albany, where the atmosphere buzzes with energy. This charming spot offers an extensive menu that goes beyond its renowned wood-fired pizzas, featuring a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes such as saltimbocca, veal parmigiana, and various pasta options. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients to create hearty meals that capture the essence of traditional Italian cooking.
Visited in the evening for a pizza. It’s a popular place and was busy. The staff were really friendly and efficient, and the service was great. We had the meat lovers pizza with extra mushroom. It was delicious. Added bonus of it being a BYO with no corkage. Highly recommended.

I haven’t been to Venice in a couple of years and this was my go to birthday location, so I was excited to come back. The food and the restaurant did not disappoint and was exactly how I remember. The fettuccine was delicious, perfectly cooked and perfect temperature. I also had a hot chocolate which was perfect for the cold weather. I couldn’t recommend enough!
Amy G — Google review
Mamma mia, the food here was absolutely delicious! Our group of four had a very satisfying meal, and the chicken risotto in particular was so fragrant and flavorful which I would recommend it to everyone. The only downsides were that the service was a bit slow (since we didn’t order any starters, we waited about 30–40 minutes for the first dish) and the gelato was just average. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.
Nixi Z — Google review
Ordered a take away beef schnitzel and chips and they gave me a parmigiana instead. When I took it back they asked me if I wanted them to redo it which I did as it wasn’t what I ordered. All they did was scrape off the parmigiana topping and threw it back in the fryer making it totally inedible!! Totally disgusting and I will never eat there again!!
Bradley G — Google review
Mixed experience, more on the neg than the pos. To start with when we came we were told the place is fully booked and there are no tables. We sat outside just looking at the menu and a table became available. Throughout our dinner it was evident that there are quite a few empty tables, so not sure what was that all about. Food wise it was an okish experience. The pizza was overloaded with cheese and very heavy, the dough was somewhat dense, ordinary at best. The penne pasta was overcooked, there was nothing fresh about it. The chicken schnitzel was ok, spaghetti comments same as the penne pasta. The only hero here was the Greek salad, which tasted very crispy and fresh
Ronen S — Google review
We had a very nice dinner at Venice Pizza Bar & Restaurant. The risotto was tasty, well prepared and served in a very generous portion. The staff were friendly and provided good service. One thing to note is that the drinks menu is very limited as it’s a BYO restaurant – something we didn’t know in advance. Overall, a good dining experience with delicious food.
Jens T — Google review
Absolutely top notch. Owner was welcoming and courteous, we rocked up without a booking and they couldn’t accommodate us inside the restaurant but offered us a table outside and we gladly took it. Also Offered us a bucket of ice for our wine. It just got better from there, our waitress was fantastic and food was great. Highly recommended. 14/7/23 had to settle for takeaway today as Bo tables were available. Good food and very humble staff

Not the greatest. My waffles tasted doughy like packet waffles, not freshly made ones and I expect better for the price. My coffee was nice but my wife's chai latte was weak and watery. Her pancakes were cold and the bananas hard and unripe. When she asked for them to be microwaved hotter, they came back the same. The pancakes were advertised as coming with vanilla cream and maple butter, but neither of which was present. For the money, one expects better.

We stumbled across this place when our cruise ship stopped in Albany. The staff member talked us through the menu and helped us make our choices. They were flexible with our dining needs and very patient, allowing us plenty of time between our first and second course, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. Opened just 3 days before Christmas 3016, this restaurant in Middleton Loop, Albany WA offers a large range of traditional dishes from Nepal and some exquisite fusion of traditional spices with local foods. My family and I loves their food very much. Their waitress are friendly too. I'm a Malaysian and I loves Indian (I know they are different from Nepalese, but quite similar) foods and I can tell if their good, or not. I'll definitely revisit again if I happen to revisit Albany in the future.

Lovely meal, attentive service nice surroundings. All our meals were full of flavour and fresh tasting. Bread was freshly prepared and rice perfectly cooked. They should only focus on Nepalese dishes to really enhance the experience. Ditch some of the crossover 'Indian' cuisine. Only have a glass of wine if it comes from a fresh bottle. Well worth a visit you will not be disappointed.

Some of the Food was good. Some was not what I ordered, & when I questioned the server, then the manager, I was told I was mistaken! I was not! My husband 's meal was supposed to come with seasonal vegetables, but didn't. The manager said that they didn't go with the dish anyway!other errors, manager just tried to justify them, but no real apology, only excuses. In time, the manager & his team may iron out the problems, i.e., serving dessert wine with the mains. I hope they do, as the starter was tasty. But we won't rush back!!

The Kathmandu kitchen did not disappoint. We went there during the day and it was empty, which was a bit discouraging, but the food was good. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the server microwaved my dumplings and that's sad.

Had dinner here for birthday with my SO. The environment and design is colour full and exotic (for Albany at least). It was comfortable and even for its small size. The food is done in share meal style which was great cause you got to try a bit of everything. Pricing was good for the quality of food and my SO thought the drinks looked stunning and tasted good. Staff were friendly but did find it hard to get there attention, but they were busy so it's understandable. All and all amazing spot for a fancy dinner with friends or a special occasion

Came here with wife and daughter Brilliant. Finally somewhere not operating with opening hours from the 80s. High end cuisine and a lovely environment. Food is excellent. Marron was beautifully cooked Mac and cheese with lobster, scallops and prawn was nice. Our only comparator is the fiendishly good Mac and cheese at Rockpool which is still king but this is a good effort Sweet potato fries with sour cream, guacamole were perfectly cooked and soft. Not overdone. Amazing. Garlic Prawns were good Karaage Chicken was nice but I am more of a breast meat rather than thigh meat. If I had a choice. Service was excellent. Ambiance was excellent. Top marks.

A stunning restaurant in Albany - with incredible and flavourful food and warm service. Our fantastic hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, recommended Loft 22 and I now know why - a great meal. Chef Ingrid is so talented and we shared a number of tapas dishes (which I'd highly recommend you do as that way you get to try a range of different things). Here's what we had: (1) Housemade chicken dumplings with coconut jus and chilli oil - amazing (2) Grilled octopus with nicoise salad - perfectly cooked and tasty (3) Whisky BBQ beef cheek sliders with slaw - yum (4) Char grilled asparagus with nut curd and lemon myrtle dukkha - fabulous Our waiter Vincent was incredibly attentive and helpful with guiding our choice of food and wine. We shared a bottle of Wignalls wine (red). A total surprise packed and a restaurant we thoroughly enjoyed.

This was the best food we've had in Albany in a while! We went for a mother daughter date night at the newly opened Loft 22 and were impressed as soon as the delicious cocktails came out with our pate entre. Nestled in the heart of Albany, Western Australia, the Premier Hotel Albany is a delightful blend of history and modern comfort. Established in 1891, this beautifully restored heritage venue boasts a vibrant atmosphere that invites both locals and visitors to unwind. With its spacious layout and stylish decor, it’s an ideal spot for enjoying quality food and drinks with friends. The comprehensive drinks menu caters to all tastes, whether you prefer sipping cocktails on the balcony or enjoying a quiet drink indoors.
This recently renovated pub is great. The contemporary finishes it has been given have not taken away from the original turn of the century architecture and there are pictures, furniture and features from the original. There has been a lift installed giving mobility challenged people access to the upper floor and wraparound balcony. The food was great and service friendly. Only negative was the music which was a little thrashy and heavy. But over all a great experience

First time at the refurbished Premier Hotel. What an amazing job at blending the old and new. Great job on the restoration/renovation. Dont be scared, choose a door, and just walk in. All doors lead to a welcoming space. We were a bit apprehensive, to 'just push on a door' with no welcome or entry label. All ordering is downstairs, but there are plenty of unique spaces to enjoy your visit to the Premier, including the population 2-sided balcony. There is parking out the back for hotel patrons and a rear entrance from the carpark. Enjoy.

We have been going to Albany for the Classic Albany long weekend for the past 25 years. This year it coincided with my 60th birthday. Albany local has recommended Premier Hotel to hold my birthday party. From the minute we called them we were impressed with their service. The party menu offers great choice of food and the bar has great selection of drinks. We had the upstairs bar to ourselves which was perfect for our group. The food was first class and so much of it that everyone ended up with food packs for the next day. The PA system worked the treat, bar staff were making cocktails 🍹 all night, serving staff interacted with everyone with a good sense of humour, basically the whole evening went without a glitch. If you are looking to hold a great function look no further, Premier Hotel has you covered. 👍😍💥

When we arrived without a booking, we were sent upstairs to find a table. When there, Kirk looked around offered us high table with stools, or on the couch. We told him we preferred a normal height table as I have trouble getting on & off the stools. He took us downstairs & separated a table for us. So friendly. The 2 barman both worked well in a very busy bar taking food & drink orders. Nicholas the Manager/barman remembered our drinks and served several people at once. Impressive. The food was amazing, Jeff's Beef cheeks was so tender & my Fish Chips & salad melted in your mouth. The pavlova Nicholas suggested, was to die for. All in all great service, great food & lovely surrounds. Best pub in 5000km since leaving Melbourne.

Lined up in the queue to order and when I got to the front was asked to let the people behind me go first. When I questioned why was told "c'mon mate, don't you want to let the elderly through first". He was just trying to save himself time as there was a large booking of seniors coming in in dribs and drabs. The attitude I received when I complained I feel was unacceptable. "Don't let the door hit you on the arse on your way out" I was told. In reply to your lies below. If you could tell me how I was aggressive and threatening it would be appreciated. I did not swear threatening anyone or raise my voice. I was not asked to step aside I was told to with no real explantation. Even the gentleman behind me to asked you to serve me first. I had already lined up patiently behind 3 people and there was another 5 at least behind me. You obviously do not like being questioned as you escalated the situation.

The Stirling Club is a versatile venue suitable for various events, from dinners to country music get-togethers. The club offers delicious and affordable food with fast service, ample space including two dance floors, and great live entertainment. It also provides plenty of parking and easy access for all guests. Additionally, the club can be hired for private events such as weddings or parties.
We came to the Stirling Club for dinner and to then go the the Albany Country Music Clubs get together afterwards. The food was delicious and really affordable and the service was fast. The venue has lots of space with two dance floors and the band was also great. Plenty of parking and easy access for everyone with stairs or a ramp to the doors. You can also hire this venue for your own events.

Great place to hang out and catch up with friends. Also has good music bands when available

Alright place. Drinks and food are priced well. Not really a rowdy sort of place. Lots of pool tables, and smoking areas outside. Sometimes the staff can be heard arguing over shifts or workers but its not really an issue.

Great venue for weddings, parties, anything. Top views over the harbour for firework events too.

** Changed my rating new staff not as friendly We recently visited the Stirling Club a couple of times after friends highly recommended them and so happy we did! Amanda was such a breath of fresh air, giving us amazing service with such a friendly, welcoming demeanour. We had found Albany’s customer service on the poor side, putting that down to covid it really was great to find an establishment that knows the importance of their customers and gives old fashion great service. We are definitely becoming members and look forward to our next visit to the Stirling Club. Well done Stirling Club and Amanda!

The show was amazing, the comedian was hilarious, however, the staff were selling expired chips and peanuts, when I brought them back to the bar, they firmly said "it's only the best before date" and was not very polite about it. Wasn't happy about that.

Played our Great Southern Classic Cup for 8 ball pool there for 2 days Not enough air conditioning for the amount of people playing there
