Nice museum in a beautifully restored house. We really enjoyed learning in detail about the champagne making process. It would be great to have the old wine making equipment set up in the cellar as it would have been used so the visitor can get more of an immersive experience. Overall it is worth the visit.

Absolutely massive and really interesting exhibits! Really enjoyed the archaeology section and the champagne section was brilliant too. A good English audio guide was provided free of charge too. Well worth a visit but allow plenty of time so you get to see it all 🙂

If you’re in Epernay, this museum is a must. The curation and restoration of this old building is a credit to the community.

If you're a history buff or like to know more about the how of champagne making then this is a great place to visit. The added audio guide is free, easy to use and informative. Was personally interested in the Champagne making the most and history but this is not the only historical heritage kept here. Loved the 'hands on' smelling of the different ingredients that go into the Champagne with the different grapes. Relaxing way to fill in a few hours between Champagne house tours. It was advertised that there was a cafe here, but that didn't eventuate. Shame they haven't changed the signage.

Really fantastic museum - the archaeology section was particularly well done and interactive. Highly recommend (yes only complaint that most signs were only in French - but English audio was very good in general)

This was a lovely set up. The wine cards placed in front of each tasting is nice for reference. Sitting around the bar while tasting champagne was nice and we could chat with other visitors too.

Beautiful location in the heart of Epernay. A lady called Margaret guided us. She was very informative, and the tour was not too long. We tasted 2 different champagne after the guided tour. Highly recommended!!

We visited some champagne houses but our visit to Boizel was the best we had. We did an English tour with Thaya and she was super funny, knowledgeable, spoke super English and the tasting was really well done. We can definitely recommend it!

Stunning building and history. The tour was really informative but not too overwhelming. The building and tasting rooms are gorgeous and all the staff we encountered were super friendly and welcoming, especially the guide. There are so many options in Epernay but def recommend this one for our tours and tastings!

We did a tour with Louanna today and were lucky enough to be the only 2 people on the tour! Louanna was very knowledge and it was great to see ‘behind the scenes’, especially in the beautiful cellars. The tasting was one of the best we’ve done in this region - the information cards are so helpful and the champagnes on offer are varied and delicious. Would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying this wonderful place!

A fantastic tour and wonderful champagne! The tour was the perfect length and the volume of information ideal - not too much, but enough (and you are encouraged to ask anything else you want to know). You explore part of the production areas and wonderful caves, before enjoying your selected tasting. Our host was exceptional. Happy to recommend this any day!

We had a fantastic tour of a this house which has both a very interesting history and and an admirable present philosophy. Highly recommend to book a tour if you are visiting the champagne region. Opting for the medium level, the so called immersive tour, gave the chance to try something truly unique, a champagne matured on the bottom of the ocean.

We had the best time! Our host was great,fun and so very knowledgeable. We learned so much,enjoyed tasting & smelling the differences of the different champagne and vintages! Our group,although none of us knew each other starting the day, all from different countries USA, Netherlands,and Italy,after our tour and our " test" felt like friends. AMAZING lunch! Make sure you go to the right place for your tour! It’s not the one on Avenue de Champagne- it’s about a 20 minute walk, so you’re likely to miss some of the tour, which is what we did. The address is on your email confirmation. Tour was pretty good. I’m not sure if we missed it, but I would have appreciated more basic information about how champagne is made. We saw the stainless steel tanks & learned how they are cleaned. We learned something about biodynamics & fermentation in glass. We saw into some cellars and learned about how the Abyss range is matured. And we had a tasting of 2 champagnes, which was interesting .

Regret booking this. The experience was disappointing from start to finish. They have two locations(with the exact same names) and we accidentally arrived at the wrong one. Instead of handling the situation with some flexibility, the staff immediately blamed us and told us to ‘check our tickets.’ The two locations are only a six-minute drive apart, so we wouldn’t have been significantly late if they had simply let us join the tour. We actually booked our uber on the spot to make our way there asap but they told us to cancel that. When we asked if we could join any of the later tours, we were told it was fully booked – though honestly, would two extra people have made such a difference? This lack of hospitality set the tone. Reluctantly, they offered us a tasting at the location we had come to, despite the fact we had paid €90 for a tour. What we got were four of the tiniest pours we experienced anywhere in Champagne, and worse, the wines were flat and stale (as you can see in the video). It was especially noticeable that many bottles were left uncorked on the counters without stoppers, which likely explained the poor quality of what we were served. To top it off, the waiter who served us made a point of repeating that the ‘correct address was on the tickets.’ The service throughout was curt, unkind, and at times just plain rude. Overall, this was the lowest point of our trip. With so many warm, authentic, and generous champagne houses in the region, I would strongly recommend skipping this one.

The excursion was great, and the guide was passionate and energetic. However, the champagne served was disappointing—stale, flat, and at the wrong temperature. For the price of the tasting, this was a very strange and underwhelming experience. If the wine can’t even be served properly, it raises serious doubts about the rest of the winemaking process. Probably the first time I’ve ever rated a champagne tasting 1 star.

I visited Champagne Leclerc Briant this past December, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. The entire experience was exceptional, and a big part of that was thanks to Antonella, our guide. She was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and passionate, and she really made the visit unforgettable. She explained everything in such an engaging and approachable way- from the biodynamic methods they use to the history of the house and the winemaking process. I learned so much, and it made me appreciate the Champagne even more. The tasting itself was a highlight. Each glass had its own character, and you could really taste the care and philosophy behind the wines. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, and I left feeling inspired and grateful for the experience. If you're anywhere near Champagne, make sure to stop by. It’s truly something special.

Lovely tour from Luca who was super friendly and informative. Gratien make their champagne a little differently than most and great to see a medium size quality focused producer. Tasting of 4 wines at the end, not rushed at all in lovely surroundings. Highly recommended.

Visited in November with a group of 15 to take part in their Champagne and cheese workshop tasting. What a wonderful experience, everything was so well executed, the champagnes were great, the cheese was delicious and our host was so lovely. She explained everything thoroughly and guided us through the tasting, her hospitality was top notch and made us feel at home. I highly recommend visiting them and reserving this unique pairing!

If you're in the region you simply must visit. This is one of the best museums I've ever been to. Very interactive and classy. The ticket price includes 2x small different champagnes to sip overlooking a stunning view of the hills and vines, and a little bar where you could buy more wine. Wonderful visit.

It’s bright too big or small, is highly engaging for all ages, including the youngest, and gives a great understanding of the region and the champagne-making process. Very creative and visually beautiful exhibits throughout. Includes two champagne tastings for adults and juice for the kids. Even the gift shop has lots of great affordable options. This was a fun & informative experience. I loved the visual & interactive information & learned so much about the process involved in champagne production. I would imagine older children would also enjoy the experience. The champagne tasting, sat outside by the vineyards was great too. Highly recommend the onsite restaurant ~ really delicious food. I celebrated my birthday in style staying at Thomas’ place. He took us round the vineyards in the morning, we then had fun guessing flavours and aromas tasting different champagne in the afternoon at his place with great views overlooking the vineyards and the tower of Castellane. What a treat ! All very central, near the town center, the train station and the famous Avenue de Champagne!🍇🍾🥂

Toma was a great host and guide for me and my family. He gave great insights into local champagne production and made it lots of fun. Highly recommend!

Tom is a fantastic host. He should be your first stop in Epernay as hes inly a stroll from the train station. He taught us useful information about the different types of champagne that came in handy for the rest our trip. He also doubled as a chauffeur for us ferrying us around the region in his van. To top it off he did me a favour and purchased and shipped some items to Australia for me after we had left. Look up Tom and he will help you have an incredible trip in the champange region.

I was quite shocked at the lack of cleanliness of this facility. The young life guards seem to be more interested in chatting with each other than watching people in the pool. I don’t like that there are no designated swim only lanes but there is a sign up for kick only? Kids were running around the pool deck and diving into ‘swim’ lanes and the whole experience was off-putting and seemingly dangerous. There was mold inside the pool in various spots and the entire facility needs a very good clean... Disappointing.
