Machida in 4 days

If you only have 4 days to spend in Machida, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Machida offers a quieter, more residential slice of Greater Tokyo while still being well connected to Shinjuku and Yokohama. The city is known for its extensive green spaces such as Serigaya Park and Yakushi-ike Park, which feature ponds, seasonal flowers, and pleasant walking paths. Central Machida has a dense cluster of shopping streets, department stores, and casual eateries around Machida Station, giving it a lively yet local feel. Cultural stops like the Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts and small neighborhood shrines add low-key points of interest for a relaxed day trip.
With favorites like Tsukada Nojo Machida, Ichiran Machida, and Snoopy Museum Tokyo, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Ichiran Machida and TGI FRIDAYS Machida so you can get the best taste of Machida while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Located in Machida, Tokyo, the Snoopy Museum Tokyo is a must-visit for fans of the beloved Peanuts characters. As the only satellite museum of the Charles M. Schulz Museum in California, it offers a unique experience for visitors. The museum showcases original Charles Schulz drawings and features a gallery of Peanuts characters. Visitors can also participate in make-your-own-Snoopy workshops.
It was a fun experience. 😃 If you're a Snoopy or anything to do with Charlie Brown, I'd think you'd enjoy it. Talks about the history from the start of creation until now. Pretty informative, and again, it was a fun experience. The staff here are amazing. 👏 They were very polite, inviting and friendly. I had a short chat with a couple of the staff members, with my broken Japanese (still working on that), and there English (which was pretty good), and it was delightful conversations. They definitely made my visit there more enjoyable. 😄👍👍 2000¥ for entry fee, so maybe $15 US and 18 CDN. I thought it was worth it.

As a snoopy fan, this was an outstanding experience! Every detail in this museum was so cool. I loved the comics on the walls and the informative signs next to the characters. Learning about the history was very interesting. There were so many places to take photos and each one was adorable. The gift shop was fun but a bit pricey so I only picked out one thing. Everything about this was perfect and if you are a snoopy fan you will love it, a must visit!

If you’re truly a Snoopy fan, you’re going to love this museum! It tells the whole story of how the author came up with the idea, who inspired each character, and the personality behind every one of them. There are original drawings, interactive sections, and merchandise from over the years. There are only 2 Snoopy museums in the world, and even though this one is small, I absolutely loved it. I actually spent 2 hours looking around and reading everything!! I’ve loved Snoopy since I was little, so coming here really filled my heart with love and nostalgia from my childhood. I recommend it 1000%! 💖✨️

I really liked the museum and preserving the history for snoopy! If you are a big fan of snoopy then I highly recommend coming here. The snoopy shop also has lots of items that can only be found in the museum. In addition, the place was not crowded and the layout and organization for each room is well done. Near the end of the museum remember to turn the snoopy gachapon exclusive items, it’s worth collecting!

The Snoopy Museum in Tokyo is a charming and fun place, especially for fans of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. The exhibits are well-designed and nostalgic, with plenty of photo opportunities. The gift shop is packed with a wide variety of Snoopy-themed merchandise, making it a perfect place to pick up souvenirs. It’s a great spot to visit with friends or family. Some areas can get crowded, but overall it’s an enjoyable experience.
Victra L — Google review
The Snoopy Museum is a great attraction for people who love Snoopy and the Peanuts gang! There is cuteness everywhere you look and also lots of great souvenirs to pick up in their gift shop. If you have a limited amount of time in Tokyo, it might not be a prioritized attraction as it was about an hour subway ride from Tokyo (Asakusa area). My favorite part was creating a personalized Snoopy stamp for less than $9 USD.
Jackie N — Google review
Pretty fun, although there's not much in terms of history or how the strip was made. There was a cool selection of strips along the way and some tidbits on the characters I didn't know about. Definitely a nice place but I wouldn't rank it as an absolutely must see. My wife loved it.
Alejandro S — Google review
We went to the snoopy cafe to check out the merch first and saw the discount ticket of 200yen there. Took it and got the discount which is the same price as advance ticket 😊 having been to snoopy garden in jeju, I like that the comics here are printed bigger on the walls which makes it easier to read. We spent about 2 hours in the museum.

Art museum
Museums
The Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts is a unique museum dedicated solely to prints, housing Japanese and Western pieces dating back to the 8th century. Visitors can appreciate the art of printmaking and learn about its production process from a Japanese perspective. The museum, conveniently located near Serigaya Park, offers a serene atmosphere for art lovers to explore its extensive collection of around 17,000 prints.
Parking was easy and cheap and the exhibit was top notch. Plus the staff was really nice and helpful!
Hannah B — Google review
I was so excited to go to this museum. I loved the atmosphere and the interactive studying system on the first floor (the last 3 photos is this spot; Japanese only). We didn’t go inside the main exhibition because we didn’t expect it to be not free but even though we enjoyed free exhibition and studying materials. Anyway my impression was spoiled by the attitude of the staff. I wanted to take a photo of the book to think about buying it later, but Staff came up to me and in rude, simple Japanese (+ to the racism of the Japanese) said that I could not take photos. There were no signs about this anywhere, but that’s not the point. It was rude and disrespectful. I can speak Japanese very well but she even didn’t supposed it and spoke to me in rude Japanese. The museum could be popular, but it is almost empty, there are no visitors and such behavior will never attract more people there. I don’t want to go there anymore, although at the beginning I sincerely fell in love with this place
Love T — Google review
A nice museum. When we went there was a free exhibition about Daumier and his drawings. It's not such a big art museum, but the people are nice who work there and the museum itself is in a park. This means that the air is a lot cleaner than it world be by roads. It is a little far from Machida Station though.
Justin C — Google review
Exhibition is quite small, but still interesting. If you are in the area give it a visit 👍

Very educational ~ actually my favorite section of the museum was the mini library - it had an amazing collection of works - one series reminded me of old school almanacs but high lighting art periods ~

It's one of the good place to visit if you are a art lover.. Old printing technique & the drawings displayed.. Very quite.. Nice atmosphere, near by serigaya park is there.. Friendly staffs. Inside you are not allowed to take photo with flash.. It seems free entry for the museum (may be this summer they allowed free entry).car parking available but it's paid.. You can spend good time here.. After finishing, you can spend some time in the park whixh is quite big... Over all good place to visit & good experience..
Renga R — Google review
Somehow, English translation of the museum is "Graphic Arts" but at least it is not the general usage of the English term I am aware of. The museum focuses only on printed drawings and paintings like ukiyoe in Japan or engravings in the West. I hope the foreigners do not misunderstand. The exhibitions are consistently very high in quality. The particular exhibition I visited recently let scales fall from my eyes regarding modern ukiyoe.
E S — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this small but mighty museum in Machida. For one, they have the “David and Bathsheba” series of prints by Picasso in their permanent collection, which I did not expect and was pleasantly surprised to experience. Their current exhibition on the history of printmaking in Japan is an excellent primer to the history of the artform, from Buddhism to Ukiyo-e to magazines. If you are in a design or art field and/or interested in prints and printmaking, I highly recommend a trip. It’s located in a charming little park with some interesting installation art, lovely trees, and a water feature stream system for children to play in.

Ramen BUTAYAMA Machida

Ramen restaurant
Brunch restaurant
Chinese noodle restaurant
Ramen BUTAYAMA is a compact eatery in Japan that serves traditional pork-based noodle soup. The shop often has long queues, indicating its popularity. Customers can order their ramen from a vending machine, with options for different sizes, amounts of pork pieces, and garlic preferences. Although there is no English menu available, the deliciousness of the ramen makes up for it. The broth may be plain but the pork is amazing.
The conversations among ramen enthusiasts are intense. Because they exchange information online, if a newly opened shop is said to serve delicious ramen, it becomes a popular spot with long queues within a month. Their dedication to ramen is serious. They quickly gather information online, rush to the shop, and join the queue. With the determination of "I've waited in line for 30 minutes, so it better be good!", they approach the task with narrowed eyes. They first lift the noodles slightly to examine their color, thickness, and curl, nodding and giving the owner a look that says, "I'm a fifth-dan in the noodle way, don't underestimate me." Next, they slurp the noodles loudly. The louder they slurp, the more professional they appear. Two people at the counter are choking from slurping too hard. One person is trying to suppress a cough. After swallowing the noodles, they tilt their head slightly, then nod twice as if reconsidering, and look at the owner again. Next, they take a small sip of the soup. While slurping, they look off into the distance, pretending to be indecisive, then take a big slurp, grin, and look at the owner. However, the owner completely ignores them. They stare intently at the chashu (roasted pork), put it in their mouth, and nod vigorously. They've been nodding since a while ago but are still being ignored by the owner. After finishing their meal, they stand up, pay the bill, and say with a smile, "Master! The noodles and soup are a perfect match," before leaving the shop. However, they tell their companions, "It wasn't as good as the rumors. The soup lacked depth, I hope they'll improve in the future." Among these people, it's common for some to eat ramen 300 or 400 times a year. What on earth are these people? Because they have such high expectations for ramen, their disappointments are also great. Their hearts feel empty after eating.

On friday night, I just passed by and witnessed that there was a long queue both inside and outside of the shop. So, I decided to try this ramen shop. I ordered a small ramen from vending machine. It costed 750 Yen. However, it became quite hugh for me; a lot of noodles and vegetables and 2 thick pieces of pork. I have waited for the seat about half an hour and spent another same interval to finish the bowl. Unfortunately, I found out that the soup was quite plain.
วิน พ — Google review
Really good pork ramen! Huge chunks of pork that are melt-in-your-mouth tender. Broth and noodles are excellent as well. Serving size was so large it was difficult to finish it all.
Brandon S — Google review
Delicious ramen! The pork is amaizing! You have to order by machine. Choose of 3 different sizes, pork pieces and how much garlic you want. Unfortunately they don't have english menu. Enjoy.
Samantha T — Google review
Best tonkotsu ramen ever! Take care, big size is too big
Manuel R — Google review
A jiro-style ramen, with thick チャーシュー, and nice & firm noodles. The ordering system has the same options as Jiro, you are asked to choose the amount of vegetables, garlic, sauce and “Bratlfettn” you want. The comparison might only be understandable for those familiar with Austrian cuisine: it’s like a ‘Schweinsbraten’ but instead of Sauerkraut you have bean spouts. And instead of Semmelknödel, you have noodles. But otherwise it’s the same! If you go for the first time, order the Mini Ramen. It will be plenty.

Machida Squirrel Garden is a charming and vibrant sanctuary where you can interact with an abundance of adorable squirrels, as well as guinea pigs and rabbits. This unique animal experience sets it apart from traditional zoos in Japan. The garden is home to over 200 friendly squirrels, along with two giant tortoises. Visitors are provided with protective oven mitts to feed the squirrels by hand, adding to the delightful experience.
So cute and fun. Can feed and hold some animals. A place to take if you have little ones.

Machida Squirrel Garden is home to many Asian squirrels. Hundreds of adventurous squirrels live in colorfully decorated houses. Super friendly, you can feed them if you want. Interestingly, each squirrel has its own name and own house *with its name on the side.
Mark W — Google review
Wow, we loved this place. There are so many squirrels in America that we miss so it was nice to come feed the squirrels. You were a and they jump on your head and this giant turtle was just the best.
Jason S — Google review
My partner and I came here on one of our first days in Tokyo and this place was such a highlight! If you're planning on visiting, be prepared for the squirrels to crawl all over you- it might be a good idea to wear heavier pants that you're not afraid of getting dirty. I absolutely loved how a lot of the gifts you could buy in the gift shop were designed by kids! Made everything we bought there feel so special.
Tav L — Google review
So this was the next highlight that we wanted to engulf ourselves with. After doing research, we found out that this was run by loving adults and the community was helping support them in many ways. We were both so happy to visit this place that we wanted to take our time and purchase as many things as we could to help support the squirrel garden. I hoped it helped because we really enjoyed the mini zoo.
Joey R — Google review
Came 45min before they closed and it was quiet, but still plenty of time to see this small park, only ¥500 entry cost. You can get a small feed bag to feed the squirrels for ¥100 it is worth it, (tip: if you rustle the bag of food near one of the more energetic squirrels you can coax them onto your shoulder or chest. Otherwise it is kinda fun watching all the squirrels skitter around. Most the animals here seem really well cared for, however the turle's tank was kind of dirty when I came but I'm not sure what kind of environment that kind of turtle prefers.
Mitchell H — Google review
Went an hour before closing time and it was perfect. It wasn't crowded and the staff is very nice and helpful. Squirrels aren't shy at all and its very fun to watch them run and climb everywhere. Be careful to wear thick clothes because squirrels can scratch your skin when climbing on you.
Lily — Google review
Very friendly and cute squirrels with plenty of space to interact, even on a busy day! I wish that the other enclosures were as ethically managed, but unfortunately, the rabbit and turtle cages/tanks were upsettingly small and dirty.

Ramen restaurant
Ichiran Machida is an informal ramen restaurant known for its specialty tonkotsu ramen in a rich pork bone broth. The unique dining experience includes individual seating with personal cubicles and a water tap, providing a haven for introverts. Customers order from a vending machine and receive their dish through a hidden flap, adding to the novelty of the visit. The menu is available in English, allowing guests to customize their preferences.
If you don't want to line up for 1 hour, go here!!! The staff were also very kind to us.
Renessa D — Google review
First time trying the ramen and the service and the style of serving experience is probably what’s unique the taste of the ramen was also good. If you like Hakata style ramen then yes this will be awesome even that for the average ramen junkie it’s good. It’s a unique way of eating ramen and for that I’d probably go with some friends visiting but personally might just try again. Overall not bad at all.
Daniel D — Google review
I really dig the concept of this type of restaurant. Delicious food, good prices and a relaxed atmosphere. The only problem was that I was so relaxed I could feel myself drift away to sleep. 11/10 would eat and nearly fall asleep here again.
Sorin S — Google review
You can’t go wrong at this ramen place. A haven for introverts as there are individual seats with your own cubicle and water tap. Even the waiters are not visible. They hand over the dish from behind a flap. You need to get a ticket from a vending machine and then they will assign you a seat. They give you a menu in English from which you can mark your preferences. The ramen is absolutely delicious. I also ordered extra chashu and opted for extra spicy and garlic.
Aditri B — Google review
I like how customisable the ramen is and how easy it is to order. Was great, but the individual cubicles and fast turnaround made me and my friend feel rushed to eat and leave quickly. Would recommend for solo meals. Went at 6:30 PM on a Monday, and there was no wait. Definitely recommend it here instead of waiting over an hour in Harajuku or at one of the other more popular stores.
Ellen V — Google review
Unique Experience and Great Ramen! :) I had ordered an extra 4 pieces of chashu (roast pork), which isn't shown in the picture below. I had light garlic, and the base level of everything else. It was flavorful and filling. I drank every last drop of the soup and left full and happy :) I highly recommend this place. Side note: I went to the location in Omotesando and ordered the same thing as I did at the Machida location and found that the flavor wasn't as great at this location.

TGIFridays is our go-to resto for American cuisine. Grew up eating their food at least once a month. Izakaya restaurant
Kakurebo Machida is an upscale izakaya that offers a variety of seasonal delicacies and sakes in a trendy industrial-chic setting. The restaurant provides excellent service, accommodating families with infants by guiding them to spacious private rooms. Their 3800 yen course menu features delectable dishes such as conger eel cutlet and Japanese black beef, all prepared with exquisite taste. The soup served is also highly praised for its quality.
(Translated by Google) Menu up as of December 2023 (see image) 3 minutes walk from the south exit of Odakyu Machida Station. QR code order system. No Wi-Fi in store. No parking lot (coin parking available behind the building) Wheelchair NG. (There is an elevator, but it is difficult due to the ridgeline of the store) A rather expensive restaurant compared to the surrounding area, which is unbelievable near Machida Station. No parking lot. Cold towels are not reserved. The emphasis is placed on appearance, quality, and tableware rather than quantity, so it is not suitable for those who want a hearty meal. Lunch is served, but once you finish eating, the bill is brought to you in a hurry and you are asked to leave. It can't be helped, and the store's response was correct, but the aura from the store clerk was overwhelming, telling me to go home quickly as I said before. The hanging lamps are cute and the atmosphere is nice, but the budget per person for a full course meal while drinking is 7,000 yen or more, so compared to other izakayas and small restaurants in Machida that are inexpensive, it is better to be single or have a high household income. If not, I would not be able to attend at most once a week. Rather than just going out for drinks, I felt like I wanted to have a little luxury, and enjoy the quality, presentation, and atmosphere more than the quantity, but I couldn't relax, so I felt that the overall price was high... I don't need food, so if I'm just going to have a drink, I'd rather go to a bar where I can relax as much as I want and have a Hennessy. I wonder if it's cheap for those who love alcohol on the general all-you-can-drink menu? It was a year-end party, so I ordered a course. Enjoy black sesame tofu, raw gluten soup, fried fish, sashimi, wagyu steak, sweets plate, etc. Both fried and sashimi fish have no odor and are delicious. I had a bit of a hard time biting through the tough beef. The quality of the dishes is close to that of Nadaman's 20,000-course menu. All the flavors were delicious. It's a pity that cold drinks are not reserved, perhaps because they are meant to be drunk. As a chaser, I guess I should order another cup of tea, but water is better. If you don't ask for a towel, it won't be reserved. Sometimes I bring food and then leave without removing any of the dishes from the previous meal... The sweets plate is also of amateur quality, so it's not just a matter of writing on it with a chocolate pen. The quality is a waste compared to the shabby letters and food. If you want to enjoy a Kaiseki course meal in a relaxed setting, and if you like a relaxing atmosphere and a nice interior, give this place a try.

I made a reservation for the birthday course, but what should I do with the message and name? I've already booked the birthday course, so can I add something other than the words "Happy Birthday"? That's my interpretation, and it's okay. I answered, and a dessert with no letters on it was brought to me. I was very disappointed when I realized that that was what he meant after being carried away. When I called, he said he doesn't eat much fish, can I change the course to meat? From what I heard, most of the courses are meat dishes and there is only one fish dish. I felt at ease as he explained this to me in detail, but when I actually went to the restaurant, I was served many different items from the course menu I had originally reserved, including some raw fish. I'm here. I felt sorry for him, so I went to ask the staff and was told that the menu had changed recently...but since I had already consulted with him about the meat, I would have liked to have been contacted if the menu had changed. The first dish was steamed egg custard with soft-shelled turtle sauce, and the last meal was also mixed fish with bacon on top of his rice. You said meat, but I wonder if you have any other ideas? Can I put regular bacon on it? The taste was normal without any twists, and the presentation didn't look appetizing either. Two stars for the store's design. I think it's a waste of a store even though it has such a nice atmosphere. It was a course meal that cost around 3000 yen. 7000 yen per person including all-you-can-drink is unreasonable. I feel so sorry that I couldn't give him any surprises. If the food changes, I would like to go again because I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant. Although I didn't order any dishes from the fish tank this time, I was still extremely satisfied! They also have a wide selection of sake that pairs well with fish. For those who don't eat much after drinking, I recommend the snacks grilled on a charcoal grill. Grilled firefly squid and sake are a perfect match. The attentive service and hospitality are top-notch. The relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to relax. Fish and sake are a perfect match, aren't they? They grated some fresh wasabi on it for us. It wasn't too spicy, so you could put a lot on. It smelled great. The presentation was also beautiful. I was determined to eat the filefish sashimi. It was taken out of the tank, and by chance, I was right in front of the chef, so I got to see him prepare it. The counter here is great. The presentation was spectacular, with beautiful white meat and plenty of liver. I ate it with liver soy sauce. The meat was plump and crunchy, and the liver soy sauce went perfectly with it. On my visit, I was selected "Roman" from Fukushima, a fruity and easy-to-drink sake. Every dish was exquisite. The appetizers, including marinated mackerel and medium-fatty tuna, were à la carte quality. The tatami sardines and boiled whitebait salad were generously portioned, and the staff's thoughtfulness was evident. The braised golden-eyed snapper was fatty, and rice was provided to complement the broth. The Bungo mackerel and live spiny lobster sashimi were also incredibly fresh. I used the remaining spiny lobster for miso soup. The remaining parts of the Bungo mackerel are used to make nigiri sushi and bone crackers! Other dishes include squid spring rolls, crab cream croquettes, and homemade pudding, all of which show attention to detail. At the end of the meal, they even served hot roasted green tea, which was a satisfying experience for both body and soul. This is the perfect place for a family meal or entertaining business guests. Kodomonokuni, or "The Country of Kids," is a delightful 250-acre park located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. This family-friendly haven is designed to foster children's growth and creativity through a variety of attractions. Visitors can explore a petting zoo, enjoy pony rides, and engage in sports activities or boat rides on the artificial river. The park also features an impressive 110-meter slide and a charming mini steam locomotive that adds to the fun.
Right place to spend holidays with your beloved ones. Specially for kids as its name suggests. Lots of playing games. Just a tiny negative point, need to stay in long queue(around an hour) for every single game. Parking space is also huge.

It’s nice. Just a massive place with various different play grounds. Hard to tell people to go out of their way… but for a 4 year old and 2 year, it’s nice. Several areas you get up-sold, such as the pony ride or the boat ride. Overall, good day with family. Avoid summer… I worry it will be too hot. We went in late April and was perfect.

The size of this place is crazy. A super sized park rather than a farm or a zoo. Lots of activities for kids like playgrounds, man-made water area, petting venues and feeding venues. It's great coz the size of the crowd that goes here when we went on a weekend was just right. We'd probably come back here, especially during Spring or Autumn.

Most of us do not know about this location, because it is famous for kids. This place is particularly for kids where they can have full day fun. Kids are free to scribble with chalk at the entry location. Many kids oriented rides where for most of the rides adults are also allowed. So it is a parent child combo kind of thing. If we need to experience how to milk the cow, then we need to go early and get tickets. We can ride pony and horse but after standing in a queue. They have train kind of sequence car which will round the whole park for 20mins duration. A mini zoo is there, you can pet few animals and you can even buy foods for those animal and feed them. They are making soft ice cream with the milk from the cows. One ice cream shop and one udon soba shop is the total food area inside. You have lawson in front of the train station. Entry ticket is separate and for each ride you need separate ticket so please be aware.

I saw a comment that its a torture to come here during summer and I quite agree. Be careful to the heat. Better bring a tent ⛺️ to stay all day there. We bring frozen aquarius and mugicha with onigiri. Inside there is a restaurant with udon and soba. Not much choice. The icecream is amazing, you should try it We went there on weekend but just a few people. Maybe due to a long holiday, people are going somewhere far for holiday

Spacious ✅ Parking ✅ Train station access✅ Space is massive. Do not expect the rides like in disneyland or other amusement parks ( name makes it clear “kodomonokuni = children’s land). Visiting in summer is torture. (there is a pool access with few charge). Pool is suitable for kids.

Good place for a family time with the kids. Have lotsa fun activities to do here. - Pony riding - F1 car - Zip Line (manual) - Sports ground. - Tram - Hanging bridge. - Can pitch tents - Play outdoor games. Too much walking. Must carry a trolley to pull all your belongings.

(Translated by Google) At 3pm on January 28th, we played table tennis at this gymnasium. The reception started at 2:30, so today I was the first one to leave my backpack in the designated area and while I was waiting, a man in his 70s or 80s wearing a blue t-shirt brushed aside my backpack and casually cut in on my luggage, and when I complained, he got yelled at. I discussed this with the receptionist, Mr. Mori, and the situation was resolved, but the man in the blue shirt seemed unconcerned and looked like he was a Liberal Democratic Party member? I was playing with a woman. Unfortunately, the reception staff did not visually observe this situation, which was very disappointing. I'm here to play comfortably, but what's going on with this table tennis gym? The attached flyers were handed out by the table tennis staff during play. At 2:32pm on January 30th, I came to this gymnasium again to play table tennis. When I looked at the line, there were about 5 bags on the floor, and there was only one person in line. Apparently, he himself cannot read the Japanese word for ``lined up''. I asked the receptionist if this gym had Compliance, but one staff member couldn't tell me what compliance meant. I immediately asked for the luggage to be removed without the person in question, but the staff did not remove it. February 4th. I arrived at this gymnasium at 2:41 p.m. To my surprise, there were about 5-6 people lined up in the designated line. As expected, the gymnasium staff were also waiting in line. Japanese people are serious about discipline, but I think things will probably go back to normal after a few months. February 6th. Arrived at the gym at 2:45pm. Everyone is lined up. I was relieved that no one was there to interfere. However, it is too strict to have two staff members standing there watching over you. Even though I only reported a burglary. I'm too scared of the people around me. Even though I am the victim, I feel like I have become the perpetrator. Why? That's because I'm an idiot in Japan, a country with a lot of bullying. lol lol (Original)

It was a meal ticket system, and I recall that they only accepted cash and transportation IC cards. I ordered the leek ramen, which was on sale during a discount campaign. I was seated comfortably in a booth, and was able to customize the firmness of the noodles, the strength of the flavor, and the amount of oil. There were plenty of free toppings, and the staff were always happy to suggest new ones. The parking lot was empty and easy to park in. Overall, it was a family-friendly place, and I was impressed with the good service. It's set up like an old Japanese house, and both the outside and the inside of the restaurant are very stylish. The 5-kind omakase platter is luxurious in appearance and content. They have everything from lean meat to marbled beef, and from ones that get tastier the more you chew them to ones that melt in your mouth, they're all delicious. The sirloin nigiri sushi was also really good. The ratio of rice to meat is just right, and the meat is on top in a big pile, lightly seared from above. The moment you take a bite, it melts and the sweet fat fills your mouth and is delicious. The 3-kind tongue platter is also a must-try for tongue lovers! Mountains
Mount Takao, also known as Takaosan, is a 599-meter-tall peak located within an hour of Shinjuku station in Tokyo. It has been a pilgrimage site for over 1,200 years and offers a mix of traditional Japanese culture and natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, a funicular railway, and the opportunity to visit the Yakuo-in temple. The summit provides stunning views of Tokyo and Mount Fuji on clear days.
I highly recommend coming out to this mountain it offers a perfect mix of natural beauty, peaceful hiking, and cultural exploration. The views from various points are absolutely stunning, and you’ll come across several gorgeous shrines along the trails that are well worth stopping at. There's also a charming little suspension bridge that adds to the overall charm. The mountain has multiple trail options, all falling in the easy to medium range in terms of difficulty. None of them are intense, and many are shaded, making them a great choice even in the summer heat. There are also plenty of rest spots, vending machines scattered along the way, and small eating areas where you can grab a quick snack or cool drink. One of the best features is the choice between taking a cable car or a chairlift. I personally suggest doing one on the way up and the other on the way down, so you get to experience both. I especially loved the chairlift coming down—it gave a breezy, peaceful end to the hike. Just note that if you go early in the morning, the chairlifts might not be operating yet, so starting with the cable car may be your best option. Another important tip: chairlift stop running at 16:30 so plan accordingly if you're heading up later in the day. All in all, this mountain is a 10 out of 10 for me. It’s a perfect morning hike that offers incredible views, peaceful shrines, and multiple ways to tailor your experience depending on your mood and pace. A must-visit.

Just a short trip from Tokyo, Mount Takao offers a peaceful escape from the city’s noise. Surrounded by calm nature and fresh mountain air, it’s the perfect place to find silence, refresh your tired soul, and reconnect with yourself.

The perfect plan for those who like nature and enjoy walking….it’s only 1 hour outside Tokyo and a lot of things to see and eat there. We decided to take the trail 1 (the easiest) to go up and took the lift in our way down! But the cable car is also available.

Beautiful payoff for what amounts to be a 45 minute walk. Paved paths with excellent three color leaves during fall (November 2025). Some crowds but manageable. The secret to getting the coveted photo is to ensure that Mount Fuji shows clear or lightly clouded skies before hiking up here. I have some examples of potential photos below.
Justus U — Google review
A picturesque mountain peak with a variety of hiking trails to take. The views from the peak are beautiful and worth the continuous uphill struggle. Took trail 6 and it’s not for the weak. The views and changing terrains make for a stunning trek, the stretch of stairs almost killed me. In the end, a great workout immersed in nature. The temple was amazing and the different trails and roads pique curiosity. If you are not the hiking type, there’s a cable car and lift service. Will definitely be visiting the mountain more.
Bilqees P — Google review
I went early November with its ~18°C, bring a coat for possible cold weather clouds, wind and rain. Lifts opened at 8, saw Fuji from the top at 12 (viewing spot cleared up!) and bought goshuin, goshuincho and charms at the Temple (ask politely in english and they will help you out). Overall Time spent: over 1 hour commute from Shinjuku each and around 4 hours taking it all in. With Koyo its popular, come early.
Marc W — Google review
Worth making the small trek to from Tokyo. Took us about an hour and a half to get here from Kyobashi Station. We lucked out and got great views of Mount Fuji when we got to the top. That alone made the trip worth it.
Josh W — Google review
Nice place for hiking, my advice for traveler is climb up the mountain by foot then take the cable car down because the trail is very steep and it will hurt your knees, please be careful.

Machida GION Stadium is a must-visit for sports enthusiasts, serving as the home ground for the Machida Zelvia football team. The vibrant atmosphere on match days offers an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in local sports culture and join passionate fans in cheering on the team. The stadium's modern facilities and comfortable seating make it an ideal venue for enjoying J2 league soccer matches and other events.
Great Stadium. Awesome atmosphere and a Win for the Home Game against V-Varen Nagasaki. Had a heartwarming experience as a non-Japanese speaking person when a young female staff, with her impressive English speaking skill, went out of her way to assist me with buying of tickets and merchandise, to showing me my seat for the game. Didn't managed to get the young female staff name and thank her properly. Domo Arigatou Gozaimasu. :)

I visited the stadium of Machida Zelvia, currently leading in J1, last year. While transportation can be challenging, it's a cozy and compact stadium that I really like. While walking nearby, I saw two goats.
World H — Google review
Prepare for Siege Warfare The organizers call visitors castle entrants—and they mean it. This stadium is a modern-day mountain fortress. Entering it is nothing short of a siege. Modern vehicles like cars and buses? Useless. The access roads are designed like ancient castle defenses—narrow, winding, and bottlenecked. Unless you’re ready to lose two hours in transit, don’t rely on wheels. As many veterans advise, your best bet is to arrive by foot or bicycle. But once you’ve conquered the gates, it’s a surprisingly rewarding experience. Despite the athletics track around the pitch, the design brings you closer to the action. Food trucks are plentiful, and—an often overlooked but vital point—your smartphone actually works. A rare treat in Japanese live venues. One major obstacle to live sports entertainment in Japan is the misalignment between stadium operations and mass transit providers. The latter prioritize fixed schedules and safe driving over innovation and fan experience. If CyberAgent, as the operator, can solve this last-mile logistics issue, it could mark a landmark business success in Japanese sports. Oh, and if you forget to secure parking in advance? Say goodbye to 90 minutes of football—you’ll be lucky to catch the final 30.

Nestled in the heart of Machida, Shikisai no Mori Yakushiike Park is a serene garden that enchants visitors with its picturesque pond and stunning seasonal blooms. This hidden gem showcases an array of flowers throughout the year, including cherry blossoms, plum trees, wisteria, and vibrant autumn foliage. The park also features charming Edo-period buildings that offer a glimpse into Japan's rich history. Visitors can indulge in traditional Japanese snacks at the on-site tea shop while enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
I love this park so much. It is beautiful and not crowded. I think not many tourists come to this place. At the time I visited this park, there was Ume Matsuri (Plum Festival). So I managed to buy some snacks like Yakitori and Takoyaki. There is a spot where the plum tree are blooming beautifully. If you still have a lot of time, you can also visit the squirell garden just next to this park. The only cons is this park is not reachable by train, and the bus fare is a bit more expensive than usual.

It’s less overwhelming than Tokyo City Flea Market as you can enjoy a leisurely ambling pace. I walked away with a few items to take back to Sydney. The temple itself is beautiful and adds to the relaxed atmosphere of the place. Only a 10-min walk from the Machida station on the Odakyu Line. The JR Line Machida station is even closer.

I was searching for a shrine nearby where I can perform worshipping for new born baby. A person(Monk) from a buddha shrine had helped me to book an appointment here for offering prayer. You can do it on a phonecall and they speak Japanese only. Not near to station but walkable. Its a beautiful shinto shrine. Car parking is available. They also gave baby some gifts in return. If you are a foreign person then you have to wear a proper dress that can cover legs and arms if you don't have Japanese traditional dress and socks too when you are planning to perform prayer inside the shrine. I wore a suit salwar and covered my ly arms with dupatta from front to back. No need to cover head.

On the 1st day of each month, an antique market is at Machida Shrine, rain or shine! They have quite a few vendors that primarily sell antique/old things including kimono, yukata, Obi, ikkanbari, tea boxes, Edo & Meiji dishware and many other beautiful things 😻

Nice, small shrine tucked away not far from Machida station. This shrine has a cow theme, with a number of cow statues featured around the grounds. There is a small shrine shop where you can buy ema. Unfortunately there were no cow ema available when we visited but there were other designs. There’s a nice torii tunnel which makes for some good photos.

Ramen restaurant
After waiting a considerable amount of time, I finally had the opportunity to try Do Miso Machidaten, a ramen restaurant located in a somewhat secluded area. Situated not too far from a nearby shrine that boasts an exceptional flea market, this small mall establishment caught my attention due to its positive reviews. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their superb bowl of miso ramen, characterized by its rich thickness and robust flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked - firm to the bite.
I love miso ramen and checking out many places ~ do miso machida is simply best ramen in this area or tokyo area !! And today , I had curry ramen for 1st time , omg so amazing and even better than normal miso !!! Highly recommended !!

Waited all this time to get a proper bowl of miso ramen. Better late than never. A kind of random spot way out of town (okay, not completely random - not far from a nearby shrine with an excellent flea market), in a small mall. Wouldn’t have checked in but for the good reviews here. An excellent bowl of ramen, a little thick and full of flavor, noodles al dente. Bean sprouts and corn kernels. Wasn’t so hungry as to go with the char siu (translated here as “backfat”). The shopkeeper (I think) seemed serious of purpose and glad to host us. My wife had a bowl of the spicy stuff, also very good. Thank you for the meal!
Peter S — Google review
Great ramen. Their soup has quite a distinct flavour, I like the style. Orochon is a good choice.. although spicy level 3 might not be the best, they use red chilli powder rather than red chillies for heat, so it tends to soak up all the soup and therefore the consistency becomes a bit thick and gloopy. The standard one is better. The various branches around Tokyo do shop-specific monthly limited edition specials which are worth checking out. For example, Green Curry Ramen this month in Machida.

(Translated by Google) It's been a year since I was intrigued by this restaurant because it said it was the best in Japan. I finally went in. There are two sets of seats outside, and as you enter there is a ticket machine to the right. *Only electronic money is accepted. Cash is not accepted, only electronic money. There are seats to the left and a counter towards the back. Water is self-service. Plates are also placed on the counter after eating. I ordered the recommended special miso ramen. It took about three minutes to be served. My biggest impression is that it is a family-style miso ramen. The rich miso goes well with the soup. It has a fragrant aroma of bean sprouts, corn, and chives. The noodles were curly and slightly thick. As it is a chain restaurant, why not try it out at a branch nearest you?

Sipping the rich miso soup, the mellowness of the back fat combined with the umami hit me like a gusher! The signature Do Miso flavor is still there. The noodles are thick and chewy, perfectly complementing the soup. I'm happy that extra crunchy bean sprouts are free, and the extra char siu is fragrant and has a subtle, sweet fat. The restaurant is clean and lively, and the staff are courteous. It's been ages since I last had Do Miso, and I'm stuffed, but it's so addictive I want to eat it again! Personally, this is my favorite miso ramen and the most delicious. Just be aware that they don't accept cash. Lively chain restaurant serving American seafood standards amid New England-themed decor.
Food is super delicious and stuffs are very efficient. They provided English menu card and explained us about the food. I am super impressed. My son likes the fish and chips. We really enjoyed our lunch 😀 Thank you

We have been eating here for years. Slow the quality and of the food have steadily deteriorated. The service wasn't bad, but food was. The fillet steak was tough as shoe leather with basically the same taste. Per my wife, the oysters were over cooked. And, something as simple as onion rings were unbelievably mushy. I can recommend their food.
David F — Google review
Not really into chain seafood restaurants. Stopped to see how similar it was to Red Lobster in America. The decor was similar. There were some menu items that were similar. Biscuits came out cold in middle. They happily corrected. Other than that everything we ordered was good. Everyone was very kind.

Food is alright, but the taste and choices doesn’t at all resemble the original restaurants in NA? Maybe the chain is managed by a different corporate here in Japan?
Gloria C — Google review
It's a shame that a restaurant where the food was so tasty the service was so distasteful. We rang the call to order and were ignored. People who arrived after us had their orders taken and were served their food before somebody finally bothered to answer our requests for service. The restaurant was not particularly busy at the time and staff did not even apologize. Calls to order during the meal were similarly ignored. Irritatingly, the bill was presented to us before (the already paid for) dessert was served. Visiting this restaurant was supposed to have been a special occasion, and it proved to be that for all the wrong reasons. Will not be visiting Red Lobster again regardless of how good the food is.

Definitely not your home town Red Lobster. The food was mostly good. The problem lies with the difference between the Japanese palet and the American paler. I found that I do not care for lobster with mayo. The biggest disappointment was no cheddar bay biscuits. The staff was excellent, the food was prepared and presented well. The stuffed mushrooms were very good and a welcome taste of home.

Tonkatsu Wako Tamasakai is a well-known chain restaurant that specializes in deep-fried pork cutlet, and it's considered one of the top places for this dish. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with an English menu available for non-Japanese speakers. The set meals come with all-you-can-eat cabbage, miso soup, and rice, making it a great option for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

Well known chain store focusing on deep fried pork cutlet, but this store is my top 3 of deep fried pork cutlet! 1. Staff are nice. No issues ordering the food for someone who can’t speak Japanese since they have English menu with detail information. 2. Of course the food is awesome! White rice has been cooked/steamed in perfect balance. And of course the fried foods are delicious! Final words from me is the place worth going!

Did not know until I read another review that an English menu was available they never offered to me but I also didn’t ask. Kaito is a traditional Japanese noodle restaurant that offers excellent udon soups in an old-school setting. The flame paddle, a spicy udon dish, stands out for its delightful combination of slight sweetness and intense heat. Despite being busy, the restaurant efficiently seats families with young kids. With fair prices and a great food selection, Kaito is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy quality udon noodles and various side dishes in a wonderful Japanese dining experience.
Food was excellent. I had the flame paddle (spicy udon) and it was a delight to my taste buds. Slight sweetness to it and a delicious intense heat that followed. It's a very good and one of the big park in this area. Very nice park.. There is water play area for kids.. Best place for summer to go with the family.. You have walking course inside the forest and play area for kids & cool streams in the park.. Fully covered with trees and plants. You can also do make tents near by.. There is a big slide for kids to play.. (also adults can try this for fun with kids). When go to this park, have some cloths after kids play in water. You can ride bicycle... Pets also allowed, so you can bring the pets also here. There are some parties can be arranged in the open park. So some local gathering also it's a good place. May be it's one of the underrated spot or park . It have less car parking space..so better go by train or go early. It's near to the station only.. Over all its a very good place for a one day trip with relaxed atmosphere with family

Rooftop restaurant located on the 8th floor of a complex. STRI shares real estate with Bar Roja and Steak Coquette. The ambiance is really enjoyable with the bustle of the kitchen and lively music (90s American R&B when I was visiting). I originally came in for the buffet, but was informed they only do the buffet during lunch hours. Regardless, I ordered a few items off of the dinner menu (dishes with a star on the menu are an indication of a signature dish) and I was NOT disappointed. I could tell they made the dishes with care and no over-seasoning or dryness. The menu features prosciutto, salads, Italian-type side dishes, beef steak, oysters, pastas, tapas, and brick oven made pizzas. They have a small dessert menu as well. This is a great date spot for evening time and I bet it would be great for family and friends for lunch. I'll be back to try the lunch buffet. I was impressed! I'll be back!

Sugawara Shrine, located in Machida City, is a popular destination dedicated to the Heian Era scholar Michizane Sugawara. It is known as a guiding light for other shrines in the area and features two main attractions: iris flowers and a pair of arched bridges. The shrine's history dates back to the Muromachi period when it was initially enshrined by Masatsugu Osawa Sakon.
It's a nice shrine but there's no elevator. The grounds are very well maintained and there's enough parking for many cars. There was a photographer taking photos of another familue's 7,5,3 festival. I do wish the shrine would take care to make sure the other people are not in the background so that we can maintain our privacy.

(Translated by Google) I visited Sugawara Shrine. Take the bus from Machida Station on the Odakyu Line to the Sugawara Jinja-mae stop and it's about a 3-minute walk. It was founded in 1630. There are two entrances: one in front of the large red torii gate and one at Onnazaka. After walking the long approach and climbing the stairs, you'll reach the open grounds. The worship hall is massive, large, and impressive. The grounds are also extensive, with many sights to see, including the Kagura Hall, the Atago Shrine within the grounds, and the remains of the Idenosawa battlefield. I was able to receive a pre-written goshuin stamp at the shrine office. Of Machida's three major Tenjin shrines, it stands out in terms of size, as well as the size of its worship hall and main hall. So it's great just to stroll around. Even though there is no master, let us not forget spring. To the bottom of the water that is not the sea, and that is filled with water. A pure heart is like the moon shining. Izakaya restaurant
The ambiance at Tsukada Nojo Machida, an izakaya restaurant, is fantastic. The wait staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. It is a great place to visit with a group of friends or for an intimate outing with a close companion. They offer a variety of exquisite dishes like raw horse meat and raw chicken on avocado slices, which are unique and delicious options. Their meat-wrapped asparagus is delightful, although the type of meat used is undisclosed.

There is a zone that focuses on lamb yakiniku and a zone that focuses on Tsukada Farm. Recommended is [Lamb Rock] in the lamb yakiniku zone. You can order Tsukada Farm's menu while enjoying Hokkaido lamb in a special space with 6 seats. Until now, I didn't like the unique smell of rum, so I decided to try it this time. I was able to enjoy a delicious lamb that had no odor at all, overturning the stereotypes of the past. I highly recommend the new Tsukada Farm, which is sure to become popular in the future. Awesome atmosphere, the wait staff are super friendly and helpful. Good place to go with a bunch of friends or just a close friend, sit down and have a few drinks whole you dine on exquisite dishes like raw horse meat, raw chicken on avacado slices. Yes, I said raw and I'm still here to share my post. The meat wrapped asparagus were very tasty, didn't ask what meat. And the rice balls wrapped in bacon and covered with cheese definitely fill you up! Would go again!

First of all, when I came to the store, I was told that I would be shown around, but I had to wait for over 10 minutes without being told anything. After that, we apologized for the wait. And even though I came to eat Genghis Khan, I was shown to a seat where I couldn't order Genghis Khan. When I asked the staff to move, the response was slow. The staff were also friendly and gave me a very good impression, but it was a shame that the training of the staff was not done at all. In the past, the staff would carefully explain the products and convey the appeal of the dishes, ensuring that customers enjoyed their meal, and I felt a warm feeling every time I visited. However, on this visit, there was no such consideration at all, and the staff simply took orders and served the food mechanically. It was as if robots were working, and I didn't sense the humanity or hospitality that I once felt. The decline was so great that I couldn't believe my eyes and wondered if it was really the same restaurant. I was shocked, beyond saddened, by the decline. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be visiting again. Ume-no-hana Machida is a kaiseki restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience for special occasions or romantic outings. The cuisine is delectable, and the service is excellent. The traditional Japanese ambiance creates a charming atmosphere, with an entrance through a beautiful garden path. Upon arrival, guests are warmly greeted by hostesses who offer to take celebratory photos in front of the restaurant. There are private rooms available, perfect for a more intimate dining experience.
A very pleasant experience. Very tasty multi-menu centered around tofu and yuba including a soup of tofu that was cooked in spring water table side. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was excellent.

The course flowed awkwardly and the menu was poorly designed – one can’t help but be totally sick of tofu by the end. Each dish had to be seasoned or dipped with the many sauces on the table and it was confusing and difficult to follow. The main shabu shabu course was a disproportionally large serving of tofu skin (yuba) that was impossible to finish. The service felt off-key and lacked sincerity. All in all it was difficult to enjoy our meal.

My husband took me to 梅の花 for my birthday. The food was delicious and the service was great. The ambiance and setting feel very traditionally Japanese. You enter through a garden path, and as soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by two hostesses. Because we had said in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, they then asked if we’d like to take a celebratory photo in front of the restaurant. We were then led to our own private room where the table was already set and waiting for us. We ordered the yuba shabu course and all of it was delicious. We were very pleased with the food, setting and service. Would highly recommend for a date night or special occasion.

Ramen restaurant
Shio Ramen Shinka located in Machida has been praised for serving one of the finest bowls of ramen. Although some may hesitate to make the journey specifically for this restaurant, it is certainly a must-try if you happen to be in the area. Their standout dish, shio tsukemen, is an absolute delight with its light yet flavorful soup and noodles soaked in a salt bath.

One of the best ramen I've had in Machida. Don't think it's worth the hassle of going all the way to Machida for, but definitely worth it if you're in the area. I prefer them thicker, but with this soup, I guess that's what they are... and I'm convinced. Each of the toppings is delicious as well. It may be a bit pricey, but it's well worth it. There is parking for four cars at the back of the restaurant. The road is a bit rough, and there are a lot of other parked cars, so be careful. (Translated by Google) I checked in advance and found out that I had to enter the parking lot from a residential road on the opposite side of Machida-kaido. The road was narrower than I expected, and I was worried about oncoming traffic when I arrived. The parking lot was full, so I waited about five minutes and was about to give up for the day when an elderly couple came out of the restaurant and helped me park. There was a ticket machine right inside the restaurant. Since it was my first time there, I purchased a ticket for their most popular dish, the special salt ramen (with all toppings). The parking lot was full, but there was a counter seat available, so I was able to sit right away. Looking around the restaurant, I saw signs and warnings that indicated this is a restaurant with a strong commitment to its food. I was impressed that they use purified water for both the cold water they serve and the ramen; I also drink purified water from a water filter. The cold water was self-service. The bowl arrived a while later. The soup was average. The noodles were straight and thin, and soft. The seasoned egg and bamboo shoots were delicious! The chashu pork was cooked at low temperature, but it didn't cook properly, resulting in an unpleasant odor. I think this is a good restaurant for people who like shio ramen and soft noodles. Personally, I prefer my noodles on the firmer side. As someone who knows Nakamuraya's shio ramen, which is made by the owner himself, I decided not to come here again because I don't agree with the restaurant's commitment, the ingredients used are good but the low-temperature cooking is a failure, and the taste of the ramen doesn't match the price. The soup goes perfectly with the homemade thin noodles, resulting in a very refined shio ramen that's truly delicious. Since the restaurant changed its name and underwent renovations, it seems like the flavor has somehow become even deeper. As this is a restaurant that is very particular about salt, the prices are a little on the high side, but I personally think it's well worth it. (Translated by Google) Visited October 2025 "Ramen Shin" is a popular salt ramen specialty restaurant located about a 20-minute walk from Machida Station. The owner is a salt coordinator and salt enthusiast. After operating as Machida Shiruba Shio Ramen Shinka Honten for 17 years, the restaurant changed its name and reopened as "Ramen Shin," a premium salt ramen restaurant. They stock over 300 types of salt, using different ones depending on the ingredients and their condition. They use purified water produced by an RO system, which has a high impurity removal rate. The ramen is made with a generous amount of Okazaki Ohan whole chicken and domestic pork, as well as free-range chicken bones, meat, vegetables, and seafood. You can enjoy ramen made with carefully selected ingredients, from seasonings to water. Weekday lunch Arrived at 10:40 (opens at 11:00). No line. (5 people at opening time.) Bowl arrived at 11:10. What I ordered: Special Shio Ramen: ¥1,800 Char Siu Rice: ¥590 It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. About a 17-minute walk from the north exit of Machida Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line. Reopening on July 11, 2024. [Opening Hours and Location] I arrived at the shop at 10:45 AM on a Saturday. No customers were there. About 10 customers joined me. The interior is chic and innovative, with a black theme. Seating is available at the counter and tables. ◼︎Station: Far ◼︎Lineup: Yes ◼︎Space: Chic ◼︎Price: Expensive ◼︎Payment: Ticket machine (cash) ◼︎BGM: Hard rock ◼︎Cold Water: Self-service [Special Salt Ramen / 1,800 yen / tax included] The golden-hued soup is beautiful to look at. With one sip, the savory flavors of chicken and pork gently quench your thirst, and the mellow salt sauce gently spreads throughout the dish. The balance of flavor is exquisite, and before you know it, you'll be gulping down the soup. The noodles are homemade, medium-thin. They have a firm texture, and the wheat flavor spreads softly with each bite. The toppings are also truly luxurious. The low-temperature cooked char siu made from brand-name pork is large and very satisfying. The chicken breast char siu has an herb-like aroma, surprising and inspiring you with every bite. Meticulously prepared bamboo shoots, a soft, soft-boiled seasoned egg, and baby spinach for added color and accent. Hmm...just one word: "Delicious." [Staff] The staff are energetic and polite. Their friendly service is another reason you'll want to return. [Finally] I've visited the restaurant more than five times since the renovation, and this was my first visit to the main store in 11 years, but I was very satisfied with the unchanging passion and even more refined bowls. The limited-time menu is also intriguing, so I'll definitely be back.
