Rail museum
Railway services
The Romancecar Museum, located near Ebina Station, showcases the history of the Odakyu Electric Railway. It features a variety of historical train cars, including the iconic Romancecars. Visitors can explore different eras of train travel by walking into various train cars and enjoying an illuminated mini-city display. The museum is wheelchair accessible and offers interactive exhibits, a gift shop, and easy access from Ebina station.
Worth the 900 yen. The museum is quite big, it has multiple floors and features a route that takes the guest on a ride through time and see the history of the odakyu railway and the introduction of the Romancecar. You can even enter some trains and enjoy the seating where the drivers cabin is usualy located. Making a reservation for the simulator is easy, the machine that is located near the first escalator downstairs sells the tickets for the simulator experience. It costs 500 yen. Staff was very helpful and cheerful during my simulator experience. Had a lot of fun here!

That was one of the best train museum I did in Japan ! My kid loved it too ! The miniature city is impressive, really beautiful. I didn't know they also have some activities. Next time we go I will make reservation for those activities !
Boulouboulouまがり — Google review
It's a small museum, but the few trains they have are very nice. Nice little history about the trains. For kids it's seems to be a blast for them. So many families with their kids and they were just having a ball.
Db2 A — Google review
I don't know why there is a museum for the romancecar. Romancecar train is probably one of the worst experiences for me. It is expensive and unreliable. The worst is it seems to run slower than a regular train. I really don't understand the purpose of this train. You wait 30 mins for the romancecar so that you can get there the same time as the regular car.
Monkey ( — Google review
Wonderful place for children on a rainy day! My toddlers loved exploring all the trains. The cafeteria has a vegetarian burger on the menu. Strollers are allowed in but there’s also a safe place to leave them.
Enlyl's R — Google review
Nice, well lit, reasonably priced place for Odakyu Romance car enthusiasts!! Easy to navigate for wheelchairs. Static displays of retired trains, as well as a huge diaroma room, interactives and a gift shop. Easy access from Ebina station.
R.B. M — Google review
Must visit place if you’re a fan of trains! The dioramas alone are worth the cost, the actual trains are the cherry on top. The museum holds older train models and you can go sit inside on some of them to feel nostalgic.
Ripul J — Google review
Fun museum for anyone who is a fan of trains (and even those who aren’t.) The museum is quite small so don’t expect it to take more than an hour or two to see everything. The first part of the museum has various train cars from different eras that you can walk into and explore a little (there are barriers to the seats for most of them.) After that there’s an awesome illuminated mini-city which was really fun to explore and point out things we recognized. There’s a kids play area after that, with a fun interactive wall, play area and a section where you can decorate your own train car. There is also a small gift shop.

Nature & Parks
Ebina Central Park is a delightful destination for quality time with loved ones, offering a plethora of stores to explore, including an exciting arcade on the second floor. The festive holiday season is beautifully illuminated by a magnificent Christmas tree adorned with dazzling lights. This expansive shopping center boasts refreshing giant misters and a bustling food market with numerous stalls and dining options. Surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and other amenities, this park-like area provides ample space for relaxation.
Super fun to hang out with friends and family there and go to tons of different stores, especially the arcade (second floor) as you can see from the prizes. Currently, they have a christmas tree set up with lots of pretty lights for the holidays that I'll have to check out and add a photo of.

Small area in the mall zone with water features and some benches. There were vendors selling goods and snacks. Not a large grassy area just lots of concrete.

Beautiful park. A small clean river runs through it and I saw a family playing in it 💮 The cherry blossom trees here are gorgeous. Nice view of the mountains as well. It is a hidden gem

(Translated by Google) Visited around 3pm on January 8th. The parking lot was a little difficult to find, so I passed by it once 💦 I visited this shrine for the first time because it was famous for pandas. New Year's Day is over, and things have calmed down quite a bit. It is a wonderful shrine with playful details such as miniature lanterns. While there are many shrines that do not allow you to write directly on the stamp book during January, this one did so. Thank you. What's more, they performed a bell exorcism on the goshuin stamp. I have received goshuin stamps at various shrines, but this was my first experience and I was moved. I would like to visit you again.

(Translated by Google) I stopped by here on my hobby trip around the prefecture. I knew it was a historic shrine, but... That aside, I applaud the innovative efforts of the negi (negi priest) and panda negi (negi priest). Does this shrine have a snack bar that opens at night? There was a sign inside the stone tower. However, it seems that instead of a big tiger, it's a rampaging bear that appears. Parking is free for those who go by car. However, when you leave, you may have to take a back road, but the cars are fast, so be careful and look left and right!

I suddenly decided to visit him on a weekday, and since he seemed to be absent, I received a stamp of his name. I would like to have the opportunity to receive your handwritten notes again. Please call me when I'm leaving! There are kind signs like this all over the place. I can feel that everyone is trying to respond to the desire to meet the panda chief priest. The precincts are not very large, but you can feel the calm and relaxed atmosphere. The pylon is a panda and the pole is a green onion, making it very elaborate and interesting. (Translated by Google) It's pronounced "Aruka Shrine." I've been curious about it for quite some time, but it's in a rather tricky location. The nearest station is Ebina Station on the Odakyu Line (JR Sagami Line), but it's actually easier to get there from the west exit of Ebina Station on the Sagami Line. However, the road gets complicated toward the end, so if you want to get there more easily, it might be easier to get there from Atsugi Station (also on the Odakyu Line and JR Sagami Line), one stop down. There's usually at least one taxi parked on the west side of Ebina Station on the Sagami Line. There's no significant taxi stand at Atsugi Station. As long as you don't get lost, Ebina Station should be a little closer (only a few minutes). From Atsugi Station, head north on Atsugi-kaido, then turn left at the point where it makes a sharp right turn east. Immediately turn right onto the city road (there's a stone statue of Fudo Myo-o at the foot of the electric pole on the lower right). Continue north, and you'll see the Aruka Shrine torii gate straight ahead. From Ebina Station, the west side of the station is currently under redevelopment, so road information is incomplete, so I can't go into detail. Head southwest toward the Kamigo-minami intersection, follow the rice paddy path, and when you reach this intersection (where Gyoza no Osho is located), cross the crosswalk and turn left. Turn left into any alleyway on the right into a residential area, and you'll find San'o Mihashira Shrine (uninhabited and lonely, with Mitsumine Shrine), which serves as Aruka Shrine's secondary shrine. Ask a local, "Where is Aruka Shrine?" and they'll tell you, "It's right there (be sure to look carefully in the direction they're pointing)." It's directly behind Aruka Elementary School, so anyone heading toward the back of the school will get you there. If you're driving, take the Tomei Expressway off the Ebina Interchange, turn left onto Atsugi-kaido, and go under the Odakyu Line Atsugi Station overpass to reach the shrine. The shrine grounds are reasonably spacious, and parking is available from the east side. The main shrine building faces south with its back to the north. Entering the main approach, on the left, you'll find a bell tower (which appears to be able to be struck) and a shrine hall (with a portable shrine storehouse on the left and a gift shop on the right for when there are many visitors). The gift shop is located in the shrine office building, and a sample board of talismans and amulets is displayed in front of the entrance. The dense forest to the north of the main shrine building keeps mosquitoes out, so the entrance is usually kept closed. However, when no one is there, there's a doorbell; if you ring it, a priest or someone will appear from nowhere to assist you. All the offerings are displayed on a wheeled cart in front of the entrance, so if you see one, it means someone is there, so just call. Around the Sanshinden hall, there are already pandas everywhere. The panda costumes (two males and two females, with other hidden characters) that used to frequently wander the grounds are now enshrined on a raised platform just inside the shrine office entrance. This shrine is of high status, and since the Age of the Gods (before the Jomon period), this area was known as Arukago and was a paradise. This was around the time the Sagami pillow word "Sanesashi" was created. Even today, there are wells and ponds in the surrounding area bearing the name Aruka, from which spring pure water. However, the connection between this history and the reverence for pandas is unclear, so it's probably best not to delve too deeply into it. However, using a panda as a character was a great idea, and the only amulets with panda illustrations are those found at Ueno Toshogu Shrine, Kumano Sansho Shrine in Wakayama, and this Aruka Shrine. (I know about Ueno and Wakayama, but the connections are unclear.) The panda votive plaques and goshuincho (stamp book) are also original. The bell tower, too, was not part of any particular syncretism with this shrine; it was a bell donated purely by a devout parishioner, and is a rare palace bell that remains in the original casting form of Aruka Shrine.

(Translated by Google) I'd visited this shrine before because it had a strong reputation for being historic and prestigious. There's a parking lot, but there are a lot of cars speeding on the back streets. It's best to be careful. I thought it would be staffed since they advertised it so much, but it was empty, even in the morning. There were signs indicating its location posted at the entrance and in the shrine office, but there was no response when I rang the intercom... It's really scary to think of a panda in an empty shrine. It's not a deer, is it? I wondered if there was something going on since they didn't mention deer. I wasn't sure whether they would write the goshuin stamp for me, so I left feeling a bit confused.

La Lausa is located on the top floor of the vina walk with a good interior and enough space to move around. The menu is good and offers good italian dishes. I tried the Margherita Pizza as I don't eat meat with a salad and dessert and was satisfied with the taste. It's a good place to relax and eat some good food after a busy day.

We tried their à la carte menu and ordered the Margherita pizza, carbonara, kids’ meal (meat sauce), and pasta with eggplant. Everything tasted quite plain, and I have to say, Saizeriya was way better—especially considering La Pausa’s prices are much higher. We didn’t really get our money’s worth, so it was a bit disappointing. The pizza was also too thin; it almost felt like paper when I held it. Again, Saizeriya’s pizza was much better. On the bright side, we were seated quickly even though there was a queue. The seats were comfy, and I liked their QR code ordering system too.

The food wasn't bad either. When I mentioned that it was hot because of the setting sun, they kindly arranged for another table. Thank you. I returned in the fall of 2023. The salad was smaller in volume, and the seasonal menu items were a bit more subdued, like salmon and mushrooms. The food and service were good, but it did get a bit crowded, with many customers lingering at the drink bar. There are plenty of Western-style restaurants nearby, including a food court, Pastel, and Pomme no Ki. I worry that if it's too crowded, many customers will choose other restaurants. The tempura is made in advance, but I wonder if it's good to rotate it, and the texture is good and delicious. The soba is nothing special, but the tsuyu is made with dashi, which is rarely seen in the Kanto region, and is very delicious. In a sense, isn't it a complete type of building near the station? I remember that about 30 years ago it was only standing-room dining, but before I knew it, the number of table seats had increased, and I was able to enjoy my meal slowly. Speaking of Hakone soba, the appeal is that it is cheap and fast. I'm really grateful to be able to eat delicious soba noodles while waiting for the train or between transfers. It is a soba and udon chain restaurant of the Odakyu Restaurant System, which operates stores mainly at Odakyu Electric Railway stations, and its history dates back to 1965. Initially, they started out as stand-up soba restaurants, but as time went on, seats were added, and now most restaurants allow you to enjoy your meal in a leisurely manner. We have a wide variety of menus, from the classic Tsukimi Soba and Kake Soba to seasonal menus, and we always have something to enjoy. The flavor of the soup stock is good, and the soba noodles are chewy and delicious. If you are using Ebina Station, please stop by once. We're sure you'll be satisfied. Ebina Station is a large station, and there are two Hakone Soba stores, one inside the ticket gate and another on the mezzanine floor outside the ticket gate at the east exit. When I first looked into the store at the east exit, the small store was extremely crowded, so I decided to go through the ticket gate. I quickly asked for my recent default warm kitsune udon, extra green onion, and raw egg from the ticket vending machine at the store. After waiting for a while at the counter, an AI female voice will call your number, and you will receive a visual ⭐︎ of the item you received at dish-up. I returned to my position, coated it with shichimi chili pepper, and slowly ate it. …umm. Delicious. Lately, I've been eating only this menu at the same restaurants all over the place, and even here it's absolutely "Hakosoba-quality." A cup that will soothe your tired body and mind ♬. Looking around the store, it was Sunday, and lunch time was a huge success with people of all ages, including single elderly people, couples, single women, and groups of elementary school students. You can see how popular it has always been. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will take the opportunity to come again ⭐︎. If you're looking for a taste of Australia right in Japan, the Outback Steakhouse Ebina shop is a must-visit destination. This lively chain offers an array of hearty dishes, including mouthwatering steaks and seafood that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Diners rave about the generous portion sizes, especially when it comes to their signature steaks, which are both filling and flavorful.
It was a cold Sunday night and I needed a place to drink and unwind. I was greeted warmly and sat at the bar where I ordered a great barrier punch (I recommend). The girl serving me was kind and her eyes full of life. We had lovely conversation (she spoke japanese and english perfectly!!) and she even let me watch basketball on the TV! I will be back again and hope I can talk with her more and enjoy their many dishes! 5 stars 🦘

I was expecting top tier service and got quite the opposite ! First, I was walked to my table, which is all the way in the back of the restaurant however, there was over boots that I passed empty, where other guests were sitting around and near, but I was directed to the back. I stood there, and then I walked back up to the front with him and said this is where I will sit and pointed at my desired booth. I use my Google Translate to translate the Japanese menu… A nice family from America came over and said hey you know they have English version menus. Let me ask them to get you one… I thank them. I ordered the Angus steak and shrimp combo with a side salad, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. I was told that I could not get bread during lunchtime. If they gave me bread it would have to be an additional charge. I accept it the additional charge what I received at the table Was what appeared to be a hoagie roll or a bun of some sort… Definitely not be bread that you receive in the states from outback very disappointed the shrimp was overcooked and no seasonings whatsoever. The steak was not seasoned either overall that was completely dissatisfied with this meal and my service.

The food was so delicious. It's much better and more plentiful than the Red place. I had a reservation, and I was glad I did because they were busy. I did have some mix-up on my order, though. I received fries instead of mashed potatoes, and I didn't receive my salad. When I asked my server about it, they apologized and brought me the potatoes and the salad. It did take a while to get my salad, towards the end of my meal. For me, the salad also had way too much dressing on it. Other than that, the meal was great. Just as I remembered from the USA.

When I tried to order a kids meal they made several complaints about how I was fat and said I was lying. And how I didn’t look like an Elementary school kid. They made me pay an extra 500 yen even though the food was horrible and shamed my friend for asking for more bread and only gave us one when we asked for two. Then they called the manager over and he stank stared us down when we said the truth. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!!

If you want to get to experience the culture of restaurants in America, this is a place to be. You get free refills for drinks and unlimited free appetizer (they served us butter bread which was super tasty)! On top of that, the service was also very good and fast. I definitely recommend Outback Steakhouse!

Nestled in the heart of Japan, the Sagami Provincial Temple & Nunnery Site is a nationally recognized historic site that invites visitors to step back in time. Although the original structures have long since vanished, the expansive grounds have been transformed into a serene historical park. Here, informative panels detail the remnants of significant buildings such as the main hall, auditorium, and seven-storied pagoda.

Very nice
Akash L — Google review
(Translated by Google) It is a place where you can feel the historical romance. Sagami Province Kokubunji Temple was once located here to pray for the peace of the nation. According to a staff member at a nearby museum, there was a magnificent building that imitated the architectural style of Horyuji Temple. There was a huge seven-storied pagoda, a main hall, a lecture hall, and a monk's quarters where monks lived. There is also Kokubun nunnery nearby, where nuns lived, and it is said to have been a magnificent building. It is said that it was rebuilt after many fires, but by the end of the Heian period it had deteriorated and can no longer be confirmed from any documents. According to the staff, it became impossible to maintain activities as the world became dominated by samurai and it was no longer possible to secure manors as a source of income. That's what he said. It feels kind of romantic. Currently, it is maintained as a vast plaza as shown in the photo. The base of the five-storied pagoda is partially elevated, but it was used as a playground for children. It's a nice park with a beautiful sunset. By the way, there was a plan to rebuild Kokubunji Temple at this location as a tourist attraction, but according to an employee of the museum in front of the building, the plan was put on hold due to opposition from nearby residents who said that rebuilding the five-storied pagoda would reduce sunlight. It seems that they are doing so. The rebuilt Sagami Kokubunji Temple is sure to become a wonderful tourist attraction! I was really looking forward to it, but I'm really disappointed. I'm sure it will become a great tourist attraction that people will be proud of, like the ruins of Heijokyo in Nara, so I hope that the plan will move forward in a way that the residents can understand. By the way, a trivia fact is that Kokubunji did not have sects like the Tendai or Shingon sects. Todaiji Temple, which is part of the Sokokubunji Temple, belongs to the Kegon sect, but I wonder if it started calling itself a sect in later generations.

It is located on a plateau when viewed from the Sagami River, and is a vast area with residential areas approaching. It is open to the public as a historical park and can be freely strolled around. In Tenpyo 13 (741), Emperor Shomu issued an edict to establish Kokubunji and Kokubun nunneries throughout the country under the old Ritsuryo system, and the temple was established here as the Kokubunji of Sagami Province. It seems that the style of the temple, similar to that of Horyu-ji Temple in Nara during the Asuka period, is rare for this period. Today, the seven-storied pagoda and the platform of the middle gate have been restored, allowing you to imagine the layout of the temple at the time of its construction. The vast area is well maintained, with walking trails for locals and visits from history buffs. Today, you can see Mt. Daisen in the distance behind the residential area, reminiscent of the scenery seen by the Tenpyo people. There is also a traditional museum built in the former village hall, so it's a good idea to study there before strolling through the park. However, since the area surrounding the park is a residential area, it seems that it is mainly used for walking by the neighbors. It's on a hill, so if you walk from Ebina Station, you'll have to go up a hill, but it's not that steep. At Onkokan, if you ask the staff, you can experience a recreation of Kokubunji from the Nara period using VR goggles. Shrine
Yayoi Shrine is situated on a small hill beneath Kiyomizu-dera Park and Ryuho-ji Temple. Traditionally, visitors would ascend the lengthy staircase through the torii gate at the bottom, but now they can enter more easily from Ryuho-ji Temple. The stairs feature a shrine office halfway up and a deity at the summit. It is possible to receive a hand-written goshuin or create an original goshuin book here.

Soba noodle shop
Kokubunji Soba is a relaxed and long-established establishment that serves noodles and traditional local dishes in a classic setting adorned with wooden decor. The food offered is superb, set in an exceptional ambiance. It comes highly recommended for those seeking a delightful dining experience. The menu, although handwritten, may pose some difficulty to non-Japanese speakers in terms of legibility. Lunchtime visits prove popular as patrons often opt for the vegetable tempura set alongside their smooth and delicious soba noodles.
Great food in an excellent environment. Highly recommended. Menu is hand written and not easy to read for those who aren't familiar with Japanese.

(Translated by Google) A friend recommended this place to me, and I fell in love with the soba. I'm by no means a soba connoisseur, nor do I frequent many different soba restaurants, but this is my #1 pick! If you're dining alone, they'll ask if you're okay with sharing a table, but the tables are large and spacious, so you won't have to worry about the person next to you. Their great weekday lunch menu includes a tempura bowl and soba set meal, or a seasonal vegetable tempura and soba set meal, which comes with a salad, a small side dish (okara), pickles, and a soy milk jelly after the meal. Both sets are delicious, but since I love shrimp, I often choose the tempura bowl with shrimp tempura. Okara isn't my favorite, but this one is delicious. I also love the soy milk jelly after the meal! If you order nothing else, it's 1,600 yen. When you leave, be sure to let the staff know. It's a nice touch to avoid overcrowding.

It seems the price has gone up, so it was 2,000 yen. My favorite tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) was consistently delicious! My first order of yakko tofu was topped with yuzu pepper instead of wasabi. It was also topped with yuba, and the flavor was just one step away from rich tofu. The soba noodles seemed a little weaker in flavor than usual, which was a bit disappointing. The tempura consisted of two shrimp, eggplant, maitake mushrooms, and pumpkin. It was light and crispy, and delicious. It was a shame the pumpkin was so thin! The tempura sauce was a bit bland, so I ate it with soba sauce. You'll have to call for your own tea refills. Thank you for the meal. It was relocated next to the Yakushi-do Hall, which was located on a hill and was left over from the fire, but it was abandoned at the end of the Edo period. Yakushido was burnt down in 1910. Although many of the temple's treasures were lost, it appears that Kokubunji took this opportunity to build a temporary main hall and revive the temple. If you're on the hunt for an authentic Italian dining experience, look no further than VANSAN EBINA. This charming restaurant boasts a cozy atmosphere that transports you straight to Italy. Guests rave about the delightful onion soup and spaghetti bolognese, both of which showcase fresh pasta and genuine flavors. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel special—even if language barriers exist.
Great decoration & Decent food, I like their onion soup and spahetti bolognese. Staff there are polite and welcoming even not speaking English. A really good dining experience.

Taste good but portion is slightly small, reasonable price
Joanne K — Google review
I have eaten here twice, the pizza was inconsistent from the first time I ordered it. My pizza was missing toppings on a lot of the surface area and the pizza sauce tasted like pure tomato paste. It seems to be very different depending on who is making the food. The food is expensive for the quality.
Brendan T — Google review
The spicy potato appetizer was good. But the pizza was horrible. It took a long time for the pizza to come out. And on the second pizza we ordered there was a missing piece and they just covered it with sauce. We didn’t want to complain anymore because the chef looked busy. I wish we ordered pasta. Just remove the pizza from the menu.
Maui A — Google review
Most of the lunch menu is only pasta with sea food not a lot of options. I ordered cream rissoto risotto and comes with corn so wired. The anchovy and cabbage pasta didn’t have anchovy at all. Disappointed with the lunch menu

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. The pasta was fresh, the flavors were authentic, and the atmosphere felt like a true Italian trattoria.
Sailormoon G — Google review
The food lacks flavor, the taste is bland like something come direct from a supermarket pasta package. For the price point it is really not worth. The service also is really slow, almost two hours for eat everything. I would rather go to saizeriya. I do not recommend.

Hama Zushi, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, offers affordable prices and a wide variety of delicious food. With the convenience of computerized ordering and delivery, customers can enjoy different types of sushi. The cost is approximately 1000 yen per person, making it an attractive option for dining out. Hama Zushi stands out amidst the increasing number of conveyor belt sushi restaurants that have raised their prices. I went to Hama Sushi for a dinner. The price is only more than 1/3 if you go there in the U.S. Most of Sushi is less than $1. So, if you have 10 dishes of Sushi, you will pay only less than $12 dollars (include taxes). How nice!

The food is good I highly recommend the duck ramen with soba noodles!! The conveyor system is easy and rather entertaining. It's really cheap and delicious!! Don't expect perfection though, from my experience splitting the bill can be a chore so just be ready to have one person pay and the rest of you play that one person. All in all very enjoyable.

Alouette is a delightful dining destination that offers a unique blend of culinary experiences. Whether you're indulging in their Caribbean lunch buffet or savoring the carefully curated menu featuring beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and pasta dishes, each meal is crafted with care. The atmosphere feels reminiscent of a hotel lunch setting—perfect for gatherings or celebrations. Guests rave about the tender grilled steak and the homemade desserts that add a sweet touch to your meal.
What a cool venue! My students threw a farewell party for me here last night, we had 14 people. The food was set up buffet style and there was something for everyone (even a picky American like me). My steak was heaven! It was a tad undercooked but the chef was gracious when I sent it back for just a bit more cooking. The dishes on the buffet were fresh and delicious and little desserts were divine! The well trained staff were polite, attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel entrance, lobby, and restaurant was just beautiful. I’m sad I didn’t get more pictures to share but I was too busy having a great time. Thank you! PS The food was also very reasonably priced. Bonus!

Parks
Oshima Memorial Park is a slightly luxurious neighborhood park that may be small but offers a complex play area with slides, bouldering, jungle gyms, and a spacious sandbox for group play. The park provides shade from large trees during hot months and opportunities to collect acorns and play with fallen leaves in the fall. While lacking a parking lot, it remains an enjoyable spot for kids with its new and improved play equipment.

Although it is small, there is a complex play equipment that combines elements of slides, bouldering, and jungle gyms, as well as a sandbox large enough for three or four friends to play together. During the hot months, you can cool off in the shade of the large trees, and in the fall, you can collect acorns and play with the fallen leaves. There is no parking lot, but that's why it's rarely crowded, and parents can sit on the benches and watch over their children, making it a favorite park for me and my children. Imafukuyakuimon Park is a hidden gem nestled in Ebina City, rich with history and natural beauty. This quaint park, once the site of a mansion donated by the Imafuku family—vassals of the Kai-Takeda clan—boasts an array of medicinal trees and flowers that create a serene atmosphere. Visitors can explore historic structures from the Edo period, including a well-maintained storehouse and medicine gate.

Although it is a small place, there are enough trees that you could call it a small forest, and all of them are well-maintained. There is not a single piece of trash left on the premises. Shabu-shabu restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than しゃぶ葉 海老名店. This shabu-shabu specialty restaurant offers an enticing all-you-can-eat format that features a wide selection of fresh meats, crisp vegetables, and delectable desserts. Guests can customize their meals with an impressive variety of sauces and condiments to enhance their shabu-shabu experience. The atmosphere is inviting, with ample space between tables ensuring comfort while you savor your meal.
One of the best syabu syabu I’ve had. Reasonably priced for all-you-can-eat (or eat-all-you-can). There’s a range of fresh salad, vegies, meat, & drinks to choose from. Though this may not be the best place for sushi, syabu really is at a different level here. There was plenty of space between our table and the next; ambience was really good to my taste. We came around 8:30pm local time and there was a 20-30 min queue with other groups as well, which obviously means the people do come here in numbers. Staff are very polite which can be expected from the locals.

(Translated by Google) I visited the restaurant around 6pm on a Sunday. I was able to enter without waiting, but the restaurant was a little crowded. The service was robotic, so I can't really say anything good or bad about it, but I was impressed that the staff promptly cleared away empty plates. I tried the sukiyaki broth and the chicken broth with soy sauce, and the sukiyaki broth was really delicious! The vermicelli and Chinese cabbage were especially delicious. However, it felt quite rich as I ate it, so people who like to eat a lot might get bored of it. I enjoyed the chicken broth with soy sauce until the very end! It was especially delicious with the thin green onions! I also tried the famous curry, but it was so kid-friendly that one bite was enough. I probably won't eat it again. I don't think it would suit spicy curry lovers. I'm new to Shabu-Ya so I ate the standard version, but the young couples around me were skillfully using various methods, which reaffirmed that it's a fun restaurant once you get used to it. The kids enjoyed the dessert after their meal! Overall, I think it's a good restaurant. But once it starts to get a little crowded the sushi doesn't come out and you can't even order one, so if you try to leave early there's no staff at the register and there's nothing to call a staff member for, and then people start raising their voices in a harsher, louder tone and you end up feeling like the bad guy. Hama Sushi in Vina Walk is much busier than this store, but it's more organized. Maybe it's because there are a lot of older employees at this store.
