Park
Nature & Parks
Rizal Park, also known as Luneta Park, is a sprawling 57-hectare urban park located in the heart of Manila. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering lush lawns, vibrant gardens, and outdoor event spaces. The park is an ideal spot for picnics with its shady trees and expansive grassy areas.
Wow, Rizal Park is the absolute hottest place I've ever been. The sides are nice and shady with a decent breeze, which is a relief, but man, that central strip is just scorching! They've got a nice fountain in the middle of it all. You could probably kill half a day here checking out the history and wandering through the side parks. Just a heads up: try to go when it's cooler, because seriously, this place is HOT.
Jeremy B — Google review
My boyfriend and I recently visited Rizal Park, and it was a refreshing and memorable experience. It had been 10 years since my last vacation in Manila, and seeing the park again was truly nostalgic. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing afternoon. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, open spaces, and historical monuments, including the iconic Rizal Monument. Since we visited on a weekday, it wasn’t very crowded, which made our experience even more enjoyable and peaceful. Rizal Park is suitable for families, couples, or anyone looking to experience a blend of history and greenery in the heart of Manila. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination that combines relaxation, culture, and history.

Luneta Park is a refreshing escape right in the heart of Manila. 🌳 Perfect for an early morning run or a peaceful walk, with wide open spaces, trees, and a touch of history everywhere you look. It’s clean, relaxing, and gives you that rare calm amid the city buzz. A timeless spot that reminds you why Manila is so special. 🇵🇭
Chloe S — Google review
I visited the park about 6:30 am and already there were plenty of people walking, stretching, exercising by themselves or in a groups. Big speakers in the whole park, music on, amazing energy! 🥰 Very clean with a few things to explore there. I definitely recommend this place to visit
Justyna M — Google review
Bringing my daughter here for the very first time was pure magic. I’ve visited many times myself, but seeing it through the eyes of a child is a totally different experience! As soon as we walked in and saw the massive, open green lawn, her little eyes went wide. She’s usually glued to her tablet, but here, she just dropped my hand and took off running! The sheer amount of safe, open space for her to burn off energy was a relief for me. Looking at her running around, I felt that amazing connection to Filipino history while she was just having the time of her life. Luneta isn't just a park. It's a piece of our heritage that also happens to be a perfect, budget-friendly family day out. It was a beautiful, successful first trip, and she’s already begging to go back!
Nelvin A — Google review
Nice big park to go for a stroll and where you can learn about the history of the Philippines at the same time. But this is not just any old park, unfortunately it was also the place where many people were executed - some brave Priests who fought for the rights of the locals against the imperialists, and of course where national hero, Filipino nationalist, and inspiration for the fight against the Spanish Jose Riza was also publicly executed. It was interesting to read on the memorials their sacrifice. Also this is the park where in 1946 Philippines was finally declared an independent nation. So this park is important to the Philippine people and so respect and reverence is to be shown when walking around. It is a nice park and it is well laid out. Definitely worth a view
Rob N — Google review
I visited Rizal Park, also known as Parke ng Rizal or Bagumbayan, on October 29, 2025. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have visited in Manila. The park is named after Dr. José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, who dedicated his life to the country’s freedom through his writings and sacrifice. This park stands as a reminder of his love for the Filipino people and his dream of an independent nation. The atmosphere of the park is calm and refreshing. I saw many people jogging, walking, and doing exercises early in the evening. The green grass, tall trees, and clean surroundings make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature in the middle of the city. The dancing fountain with fire was the highlight of my visit — it was truly worth watching, especially after sunset. There is no entrance fee, which makes it accessible for everyone. The place is well-maintained, and security officers are visible throughout the area. Rizal Park is not just a tourist spot but also a space where history, nature, and everyday life meet beautifully. I highly recommend visiting this park to anyone coming to Manila.

ill give it 4.1 stars for the food but its really pricey, especially the childrens toys. The food was good though. Really recommend going here when planning on picnics, playing and having fun. Hate how toys small are 70-150 pesos.

The National Museum of Natural History is a stunning venue that showcases zoological, botanical, and geological specimens. It opened on International Museum Day and features the majestic Tree of Life in its courtyard. Visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view from the scenic elevator and explore galleries such as Mangroves, Beaches and Intertidal Zones, The Marine Realm, Natural Inheritance, and Temporary Exhibitions.
Entrance was free and you have to leave your bags and water bottles in their baggage counter. Honestly, the place is so nice. I’ve been to different museums and this one could definitely compete internationally. The structure inside is great and there are 5 floors in total. Totally worth the time.

I had a wonderful visit to the National History Museum of the Philippines. The exhibits were truly amazing, and the facility was very clean and well-maintained. The highlight for me was seeing "Lolong," the world's largest crocodile in captivity, as well as the impressive collection of turtles, which as a turtle enthusiast, I greatly appreciated. While parking can be a challenge, the museum is easily accessible. A great tip for visitors is that admission is free. A recent update has made it even better: the National Museum of the Philippines is now open seven days a week with free admission for all. This makes it an enjoyable and accessible visit for everyone.

Getting straight to the point.... Pros: 1. FREE ENTRANCE (wooohooo!) 2. Rich collection of historical and learning materials. 3. 5 floors worth of science and history! 4. The life-sized lolong piece is a must see! 5. FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED AIR-CONDITIONED 6. Instagrammable! Cons: 1. Some of the features were not functioning like the TVs and other visual aids which made the experience a bit lacking. 2. Some of the visitors were too noisy. Not recommended for people who like a more silent atmosphere. 3. Lack of navigational aids. You might get lost or confused if you are not that attentive or observant. We decided to start our tour from the lowest floor and go all the way up because there was no recommended starting point.
Carl C — Google review
Very Instagrammable! 📸 Be prepared for a long walk when you visit, but good thing there are chairs around the building to rest. My eyes were so full with everything I saw and learned about the Philippines’ natural history. And yes, Lolong the crocodile is there! 🐊🇵🇭 Mas maganda pumunta ng weekdays para kakaunti ang tao. Free entrance, just present one valid ID for the whole group if you’re going with company. Vlogging is not allowed, selfie sticks are not allowed—just cellphones. Some elevators are closed, so be ready for a little extra walking. Worth it!

i have to say it truly is an experience. went on a rainy sunday aftie and i thought i wouldn’t like it ‘coz it was raining, but when i got inside, i had fun looking at the taxidermies of extinct animals, the unearthed ancient tools, rocks and gems, diff land masses & bodies of water in the PH, mangrove forests, flowers, fruits, lava and the highlights of my day - LOLO and a portrait of the PH eagle!! the one lost star in the rating was for rhe baggage counter- the line took a while, a long while, like 20mins just to claim our umbrella. maybe they can devise another baggage counter?!

There is so much to see and learn about here, this museum is massive and it is just a delight. The curators have taken a lot of pride in laying this museum out and explaining the history of the biology and the geology of the Philippines. And while I know that doesn't sound incredibly interesting at first it actually is a lot of fun, I would definitely recommend this place and you can take your time enjoying it. There's also good aircon here as well.
Jeremy B — Google review
I didn’t expect this museum to be so big! There’s so much to see on every floor — you could easily spend the whole day learning about the Philippines’ incredible biodiversity, wildlife, and ecosystems. It would be even better if they offered a map or audio guide in the future to make navigation easier. The building is clean, well-maintained, and comfortably cool, making it pleasant to explore even on a hot day. Highly recommend visiting this place.

One of the best places you can visit in Manila, and the entrance is free! Full of awesome collections of nature, one being the biggest ever recorded crocodile "Lolong"! To top it all off, the museum looks stunning both outside and inside every single one of the rooms!

The National Museum of Fine Arts is a must-visit landmark in Manila. The museum is housed in a historic building that is both elegant and well-preserved, adding to the overall experience. Inside, the collection is impressive, featuring masterpieces from celebrated Filipino artists such as Juan Luna, Félix Resurrección Hidalgo, and Fernando Amorsolo. The highlight of the museum, Spoliarium, is breathtaking in scale and emotion, making it one of the most memorable pieces you’ll ever see. The galleries are thoughtfully organized, allowing visitors to explore the progression of Philippine art through time. The atmosphere is peaceful and conducive to reflection, making it enjoyable whether you’re an art enthusiast, a student, or a casual visitor. Visiting the National Museum of Fine Arts was an amazing experience. It was my first time there, and I was really impressed by the beautiful paintings and sculptures made by Filipino artists. The museum shows the talent and creativity of our people through different artworks that tell stories about our history and culture. I enjoyed walking around the galleries and seeing famous pieces. The place is quiet and perfect for learning and appreciating art. It made me feel proud of our country’s rich artistic heritage.

I visited the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila on October 29, 2025, and it was a truly enriching experience. The museum is beautifully maintained and houses a remarkable collection of Filipino art that reflects the country’s culture, struggles, and spirit. The grand building itself is a piece of art, with its tall pillars and elegant interiors that give a sense of pride and history. One of the most memorable parts of my visit was seeing Juan Luna’s famous painting, “Spoliarium.” Standing before it felt like witnessing a piece of the nation’s soul — powerful, emotional, and full of meaning. Each gallery offered something unique, from classical masterpieces to modern Filipino art. The museum is free to enter, making it accessible to everyone who wants to learn and appreciate the Philippines’ artistic heritage. The halls are spacious, air-conditioned, and well-lit, allowing visitors to enjoy the exhibits comfortably. I also noticed many students, tourists, and families exploring the artworks and taking time to read the details. Overall, my visit was both educational and inspiring. The National Museum of Fine Arts is a must-visit destination for anyone who wishes to understand the depth of Filipino creativity and national identity.

A must-visit if you love art and Philippine history. The museum is spacious and houses a rich collection of classical and historical artworks—from grand paintings to intricate sculptures. I took a lot of pictures during my visit because there’s just so much to see. Be ready for a good amount of walking as you explore the different galleries. It’s a great place to appreciate Filipino talent and artistry across time.
ATBP A — Google review
You can access the Museum via the Finance Rd. Free entrance you just have to present one valid ID. Air conditioned. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes coz you are going to have a walking work out ask for floors. Hihi. Also wear presentable clothes. Check the museums website page for the rules entering the museum. Baggage counter available on the entrance. Very spacious gallery. Elevator is available for use. I’ve longed to see THE Spoliarium. Never had the chance to join any field trips when I was a student due to lack of financial capability. Now that I am 37 years old. I was in awe seeing it the moment I enter the museum. Surreal. There are also souvenir shops inside. Sharing a few pictures I took at inside the museum. Had to sit a few times as my feet gets tired haha. Each room has a mottiff or subjects i guess and comes in different background/wall colors. Will visit the other 2 nearby museums soon.
Roxanne ( — Google review
The building is in grand neoclassical style, columns, high ceilings, a hushed hush of reverence, carries the weight of wartime loss and rebirth. Inside, each gallery blooms in its own colour-mood, the curation guided so thoughtfully that I stopped looking at walls and started feeling rooms. I had that wandering-marvelling kind of afternoon, discovering artists and stories I didn’t know I needed. If you’re the kind of traveller who savours quiet epiphanies among art and architecture, this place is for you. 🤌

Cafe Adriatico

Restaurant
Cafe Adriatico, located in Manila, was once a humble eatery for taxi drivers but has since become an iconic cafe. The owner transformed it into a welcoming space for everyone. It's situated on one of the busiest streets in the capital, making it perfect for people watching while enjoying local favorites like pancit palabok, suman sa lihiya, and ensaymada with tsokolate eh.
We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions here! What we ordered: ✅ Farmer's Breakfast (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) – A delicious balance of sweet and sour flavors from the pork and egg, perfectly paired with garlic fried rice. ✅ Landlord's Breakfast (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) – The smoky, flavorful sirloin, textured sausage, and well-cooked scrambled egg all come together beautifully with garlic fried rice. The rice itself is decent but feels a bit average compared to the high-quality main components. The fresh, sweet mango adds a refreshing touch to the meal! Each dish comes with a complimentary black coffee + milk and a glass of cold water—such a great bonus! The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, explaining the menu in detail and even advising us not to order extra drinks since we already got free ones. Though the space isn't too large, it's still cozy. We were lucky to get a seat by the window, offering a great view of Adriatico Street, adding to the authentic Manila experience. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Philippines and will spend some time in Manila!
Joshua G — Google review
We always come back to Cafe Adriatico to enjoy their food. There is always an endless choice from their excellent selections. This is in addition to the favorite orders we never tire of, especially their exceptional desserts. Once the staff gets familiar with you, you are always expertly taken very good care of. I highly recommend CA anytime!

I went here because of Andrew E’s classic hit pop song Banyo Queen. I was supposed to order beer for the vibe, but found out brewed coffee is complimentary, so i went for the caffeinated beverage instead. Ordered the farmer’s breakfast but the leafy salad wasn’t served. At first glance the turon looked like a savory lumpiang toge. I prefer my tocino be somewhat overcooked. They served it “wet”. Still tasty, though. Restroom is on the 2nd floor.
Dheon ( — Google review
The most satisfying meal in the Philippines in my view. Ordered the pork knuckle and pork belly and although you really can get by with just one pork dish, they were just so damn GOOD!!!!! I felt like I needed to have a nap after 😂 Can't recommend enough
Christopher S — Google review
This branch retained the old charm. It’s still the old cafe adriatico we have known for ages. For merienda we ordered hummus with pita bread the serving is generous and taste is good. Baby squid pasta lacks rich taste and serving size is just ok. Special bibingka is a thumbs up however it was a bit small for the price. For dessert we ordered halo-halo and buko pandan. Both of them tastes just average. Street Parking can be limited. Service is still a thumbs up

Our first time visiting Philippines and our first meal on Filipino food, it was extraordinary and impressive! This restaurant was recommended by travelers on YouTube so I’ve decided to try since we stayed nearby. The first impression upon entering this restaurant was like stepping back in time, the menu has a wide selection of food and was well presented. The staff recommended Lola Ising’s adobo rice which was pork belly cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside with meat falling apart on the inside, the accompaniment grilled garlic and pickles elevated the whole dish, i totally enjoyed it. My partner had the Beef Stroganoff served with pilaf rice which was another winner. The rice had a pleasant fragrance and was cooked to excellent texture. Would definitely return if around this area.

Nostalgic!!! We frequent this resto and a family fsvorite in the 90's, havent visited the resto for like 20 years or more. I must say this resto lived up to its name with time! A must dine once in a lifetime. Food, service, ambiance is what it used to be, perfect for intimate dates or simply a dine out with family. Youll never go wrong with any food you order. Price of food, quality and serving size are all spot on. Its really where quality meets quantity. Not to mention their superb service! Will definitely have more of my nostalgia!

Globe Lumpia House, a restaurant in Quaipo serving some of the best lumpia in town. The rolls are thin and doughy, and filled with a variety of vegetables or meat. They're deep-fried and served hot, so they're perfect for an evening snack. Globe Lumpia House is also known for its chicken empanadas, which are equally as delicious.
We love their lumpiang sariwa! Definitely recommended if you're visiting the Binondo area. It's not too far away.

They have been around since 1956, and for good reason. There are no seats or tables. This is a small stall serving only 4 options, reflecting the diversity of cultures food in Manila is best known for historically. See photo for those options. But they are most famous for their fresh spring rolls (lumpia). The lumpia are filled with nuts and a variety of cooked vegetables and a fresh lettuce. There’s sauce in the vegetables already but each order comes with a small packet of thick, brown sweet sauce. The taste of the fresh garlic paste gives it a good kick!
ARBN — Google review
I’ve been trying out food spots I’ve seen on YouTube, and this was one of the most recommended by tourists. Many say it’s delicious, but honestly, I think it’s a bit overrated. It didn’t live up to the hype for me. The only thing I really liked was the lettuce—at least there was a healthy vegetable in there. But overall, I found it overpriced. At Php40 each, it didn’t feel worth it, especially since it wasn’t filling at all. I bought three for Php120, and I was still hungry afterward. It’s okay for a quick snack, but don’t expect too much. If you’re looking to satisfy your hunger, you’re better off adding just Php30 more and eating at Jollibee or Mang Inasal—you’ll definitely get more value and feel fuller.

One of the best lumpia in town. It’s cheap with a good amount of mixtures on it. We really love the taste of it. The location also easy to find. Access from all sides of roads. But just prepare a descent amount of patience due to long queue. Overall, We recommend you to try it if you’re in craving for Authentic fresh Lumpia! Will definitely comeback again sometime.

I remember back then when they have dine in. Pricey now. Sad that they only provide so little sauce
Geh D — Google review
As a place that comes up on the very top for a place to get a lumpia in Manila, i think the lumpia really take me by surprise. (In a not good way). I think how to explain the lumpia is that it is like a mix between Indonesia "Lumpia Basah" with Vietnam "Fresh spring rolls". But you take out the bamboo shoot and the shrimp. It's unique.
Yuwanda K — Google review
Cheap and tasty although perhaps a bit sweet for my liking. Efficient and friendly service.
Georgina T — Google review
It is surprisingly good! It’s all vegetable. The size is small but the taste is packed with so much goodness. It’s fresh, fragrant, garlicky sweet, nutty with a little kick of spiciness. It’s not oily. After trying, was it the best fresh spring roll for me? i would definitely say YES.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Market! Market! is a vibrant shopping destination located in the fast-growing Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, Philippines. Owned by Ayala Land, it offers a mix of brand-name stores, boutiques, eateries, and even a supermarket and cinema. This unique development combines traditional and non-traditional retailers within a mall setting. Opened in 2004, it has become a popular spot for weekend getaways and shopping sprees.
Great variety of both artisanal and branded stores both within and outside of the mall. Market! Market! Offers a delectable selection of restaurants. Bustling with great vibes and energy, this mall offers a space for everyone to cool down inside its premises from the hot weather. It becomes a place for socialization at night, with families hanging out, catching up with coworkers, etc. Great place for people watching, too!

Market Market, an Ayala shopping mall, has a variety of modern brands. It is a popular shopping mall in the Philippines, so I recommend visiting it. Between Market Market Mall and the parking lot, there is a traditional market and a food court. In the market, anyone can buy a variety of local foods, drinks, and snacks at a low price. There are also stalls where you can buy flowers, clothes, and accessories. It is a space where modern shopping malls and traditional markets coexist, so it is popular with visitors. If you pass the food court and the parking lot from Market Market, there is another shopping mall called SM Aura.

I visited Market! Market! in Taguig mainly to hang out and relax on October 28, 2025, and it turned out to be a lively and enjoyable place. The mall is bright, modern, and well-organized, offering a good mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The open areas, fountains, and cheerful atmosphere make it a pleasant place to spend time, especially in the evening. There were programs and live performances happening in the middle area during my visit, which added to the festive feeling of the place. Families, couples, and tourists all seemed to be enjoying the event. It’s definitely a nice spot for a casual hangout or to just enjoy the vibrant city life of Taguig. However, I didn’t do any heavy purchasing, as I found that the prices here are comparatively higher than in other shopping areas of Metro Manila. For travelers coming from other countries who want to buy souvenirs, clothes, or home items at cheaper rates, Divisoria would be a better choice for shopping. Still, Market! Market! is worth visiting for its atmosphere, convenience, and entertainment. The facilities are clean and the environment is safe. I would rate it 4 stars, mainly because of the higher prices but an overall enjoyable experience.

Visited on June 12, 2025. A food bazaar type of thing was happening inside the mall on the ground floor. Bought 100 PHP Yema cake from there. A concert type event was going on inside as well. The outdoor area has affordable, probably second-hand clothing stalls too.

We visit quite often mostly because of the cheap commute. In my opinion, the eateries need changing or at least some improvement. We generally just go to eat at Chowking or Wendy's. Always busy, but it's clean. They do have a good variety of stores, though.

If you're looking for Barongs, Filipiniana outfits, dresses, costumes, and casual wear, you can find them all here at the 2nd floor fashion market. Prices are very reasonable and the selection is great.

Wanna be a pet friendly mall. Pets need to be hand carried or in a carrier/stroller. Nothing much to do in this mall due to its small space. Kids can play but limited. Accessible for those who are in wheelchair or with disabilities.

Shopping mall
SM Aura Premier is a chic shopping destination that offers a blend of upscale retail, entertainment, and office spaces. The mall features a state-of-the-art movie theater, a rooftop sculpture garden, and a concert venue for live performances. Additionally, it provides serviced offices with fully furnished amenities and flexible rental terms. The name 'Aura' symbolizes luxury and elegance, reflecting the mall's sophisticated ambiance.
Hydra Facial is located at L3, for all your aesthetics and facial care come and check them out , their staff were great . Also , we love shopping at Kultura. All SM stores have Kultura -- great for buying pasalubong .

Great walking mall! Aside from the wide selection of shops and places to eat, there are interesting areas that speak to the malling culture of the Philippines. For instance, there's an actual church on the top floor, some kind of terraced garden area with restaurants and a fancy playground, plus a high concept food court. Definitely a mall that tries to live up to their brand's tagline "We've got it all - for you!"
Jomi M — Google review
This is the shopping mall near my place that I drop by three or four times a week. It has my go-to coffee shop, some great restaurants, and a supermarket. The place is bright, spacious, and cool. In the main hall on the first floor, there’s a grand piano that anyone can play—and there’s almost always someone performing. Just a heads-up though, there’s no restroom on the first floor.
Rachel C — Google review
Plenty of Food & Beverages ranging from fast foods to fine dining like Food court, buffet, and cafes. Cinemas are good and new compared to other malls. A Cyberzone for photoshoots, electronics and accessories. Event decorations are attractive like the Holiday celebrations, which creates a festive atmosphere. Only downside is that it’s too crowded during peak hours making the place feel too narrow.
Joseph P — Google review
First time at SM Aura — expected a luxury mall, but it felt more like a regular crowded one. Traffic getting there was a hassle, and the mall was packed. Not quite the upscale experience I imagined. While it still houses some upscale brands (perfumes and makeup) and dining spots, the overall experience feels more chaotic and less exclusive. It’s becoming harder to distinguish it from any other busy mall in the city. If you’re coming for a relaxed, refined shopping experience, manage your expectations.

Bought some buns and the egg tarts at Honolulu Cafe. I personally loved the egg tarts. Not too sweet, and the flaky crust was perfect. The buns were also good but honestly not something that I would get addicted to. Maybe I could try the other baked goodies and the meals there soon.

Ome of my fave places to eat roast meat. It's so flavorful and the price is ok. They also have pork buns which are tasty too. It's Hong Kong style dining. I also like the honey lemon tea. I hope they ooen other branches also.

This SM was some walk away from our Hotel 101 where we were booked. It is huge, spacious with all the trendy shops and restaurants and everything in between. What I like best is the San Pedro Calungsod Chapel where we attended Sunday Mass.

Sights & Landmarks
Government Buildings
Manila City Hall, completed in 1941, is a significant government building with a distinctive coffin-shaped design that has sparked both criticism and respect. Designed by architect Antonio Toledo, it stands as one of the oldest neoclassical structures in Old Manila and features a notable clock tower. Situated amidst a bustling district filled with street vendors and modern skyscrapers vying for attention, the City Hall remains an iconic landmark.
This is the best viewpoint in the city! And it's hidden inside a huge city hall, without any signs or information outside the building! You have to enter the city hall, like an ordinary Filipino citizen, look for the elevator and go up to the 4th floor. There is a small and very informative city museum hidden there, with a nominal entrance fee, and you can also climb (up a lot of stairs) to the top of the tower, from where there is a beautiful view of the bay and all of Manila! There is even a café with good pastries, right inside the tower! The clock mechanism is also very interesting. This is a hidden but very rewarding experience in Manila!

PHILIPPINES Final Reflection Traveling to the Philippines isn't just about discovering paradisiacal landscapes and endless beaches. It's also about facing profound contrasts, harsh realities, and at the same time, a human warmth that's hard to find elsewhere. It's an invitation to look beyond the postcard, to listen, to learn, to empathize. Perhaps that's why this country touches the soul so much: because it shows, without filters, what we are capable of building... or forgetting. And at the same time, it reminds us that there's always room for hope if we act with awareness, respect, and a will to change. As with so many other trips, the most valuable thing isn't always in the places themselves, but in what they awaken in us. The Philippines, with all its lights and shadows, reminded me that the true journey isn't the one we take around the world, but the one we take inward, when we allow places to transform us.

A good place to go to walk around with your family and friends. The place itself is historical so if you love history I'm sure you'll love this place. This place is completely different now compare to previous years. Now it's well maintained, clean, no unpleasant smell, and perfect for picture takings (Instagramable). But be cautious in your surrounding even though it is look safe and there's presence of police, pick pockets still roam this area.

I attended a court hearing at the RTC on the 4th and 5th floors. The corridors and waiting area are so HOT and uncomfortable as the hot air emitted by the window type aircons goes straight and stays at the corridor/waiting area. City Admin and Supreme Court kindly do something about this.
Enrico B — Google review
My first time transacting here. Pretty good! Very efficient and smooth. You might need to bring change, though, as they use "Barya lang sa umaga." at their cashiers. Very clean and well-kept. 👍👍
Eugene K — Google review
Stepping into Manila City Hall, you're struck by its elegant, old-world charm—its architecture quietly speaks of history. Inside, it’s clean and reasonably well-managed. Navigating the corridors is easier than many government buildings, and the staff I encountered were polite and helpful. It still carries that civic “weight,” but everything works more smoothly than expected. The place could benefit from clearer signage and more comfortable waiting areas, but it still delivers solid public service in a historic setting. A 4-star experience for maintaining dignity and efficiency in an iconic city landmark.

Buffet restaurant
Niu by Vikings is a high-end buffet restaurant located at SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City. It is the sixth concept by Vikings Group, offering an upscale and refined dining experience compared to its predecessors. The restaurant boasts carefully curated selections from chefs with experience in Michelin Star restaurants. Niu stands out with its chic design, elevating the overall dining atmosphere.
I had a great time at Niu by Vikings. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, and has many different kinds of food. Everything I tried was delicious, especially the meat and desserts. The place feels very relaxing and perfect for special events. I also want to say thank you to Sir James, one of the staff. He was very friendly and helpful. He always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His good service made our experience even better.

(Staff) Jerome provided excellent service during our visit. He was attentive, courteous, and ensured that all our needs were met promptly. His friendly demeanor made the dining experience even more enjoyable. We appreciate his professionalism and warm approach, it truly added to the overall positive experience at Niu by Vikings (SM Aura) (Food) The food selection at Niu is impressive, offering a wide variety of international and local dishes. Everything was well-prepared, flavorful, and served fresh. The carving station and seafood options stood out, while the desserts were a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, the quality and presentation of the food made the dining experience worth it.

Hey Niu's of Vikings-SM Aura, Thank you for the exceptional service and very friendly staff last night on celebrating my birthday there. Deli food and stuffs. Shoutout to Sir Rahj, The Restos Dining Manager. We were very impressed by the warm hospitality and professional service, you made sure we were taken care of especially when you knew we are your kababayans from Negros Occidental. Thank you, Sir and Keep up the Great work. To our Server, Sir Albert. Thanks for the white and red wine ofcourse with the presence of fruity tequila! They're very earthy! Not to mention, I am a wine lover! You are fantastic and very friendly from start to finish. Once again, Thank you! We had an amazing experience!

Just experienced today Niu by Vikings and it is great to eat here. Comfy couches and sofa. Rich-like class of service just like what Jerome provided us. Great food and drinks offered. Price may be a bit high but I guess it was because of the service you get here in the resto. Also has band and singer where you can request songs you like them to sing (just give them a tip). Complete from appetizer, main course, salad and desserts. 😊

Its not worth the 1,658. The food was bland and not many choices. Steak was hard even if it was cooked medium. Lechon skin was not crispy and the liver sauce has no taste. I did not find the "upscale, premium" food as advertised. For the price, you can have a much better dining experience somewhere else where you dont need to line up for a tempura or steak. The place was also too crowded and hot. If not for the white chocolate with caviar i will just give it 1 star.

OK, we’ve been to a lot of buffets. But let’s face it: these types of restaurants in Asia take it to a whole different level. Niu is a perfect example. Viking was already a very popular and well thought of brand. Niu is even fancier and more opulent. Live music on a grand piano, great service, plenty of alcohol selections. And the longest buffet I think I’ve ever seen. We were able to get a private room for our party which only made the experience better. When we traveled to Asia, we love trying to patronize something like this at least once. Niu is our Niu favorite!! :)

Japanese restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Yabu: House of Katsu. This gem is renowned for its golden, crispy katsu, particularly when made with the exquisite Kurobuta pork that’s cooked to perfection. The addition of their signature dipping sauce elevates each bite, making it clear why this homegrown brand has become a favorite in the metro area.
This place was really good and had an interesting take on traditional katsu. So glad I stopped by. The wait was pretty long to get in, but there were moving people pretty quickly. Once inside, staff were friendly and attentive. Foo came out timely and hot. I got the cheese stick and katsudon and was not disappointed.
Amos W — Google review
Had dinner at Yabu and it never disappoints! The katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the set came with all the classics — miso soup, cabbage, and rice refills. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Service was fast and attentive, and the overall dining experience felt consistent and worth the price. Still one of the best spots for quality katsu in the city. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — crisp, juicy, and always satisfying. a solid go-to for comfort food cravings. 🩵🍴

Yabu delivers consistently good food with quality katsu that's crisp on the outside and tender inside. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to a smooth dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, making it a great spot for casual meals or special occasions. Overall, a solid go-to for satisfying Japanese comfort food.
Ryan S — Google review
My all-time favorite and my first time in this branch. The tonkatsu is always tender and crispy with just the right amount of fat, and the food never disappoints. There’s usually a wait to be seated inside, but it was fast and the staff were attentive. I also love the unlimited soup, cabbage, and rice which make the meal even more satisfying.
Kri M — Google review
Got the Rosu Curry for around 590php, pretty worth it. The meat is so tender, has good balance of fat and their katsu sauce with sesame was great. The salad is refillable and the sauce is insane. Pretty good serving size. Will definetly comeback.
Rayland L — Google review
Service was very slow. The rosu katsu was very tough. Had much difficulty biting through it. It was like rubber. The space didnt have aircon so its so hot.

Loved to eat here in YABU AURA. Kudos to Sir Chano and the team for the fast service and very much good food. Thank you so much for accomodating sir chano! More sales to come
Aira A — Google review
Good food but standards slipped. The Good: The service is incredibly fast and delivery of food is prompt. Location is also convenient and tucked away. Convenient of shopping in the mall. The Bad: Refills are advertised on some dishes but are not provided proactively as done in other Katsu places. The Ugly: Requested refills of rice, soup and cabbage twice but was not served. Only cabbage was brought. This is different to the quality of service when first coming here years ago.

Wangfu Chinese Cafe Serendra

Chinese restaurant
Wangfu is a popular Chinese restaurant with multiple branches, each offering a unique dining experience. Lucky Rainbow QC, for example, surprises visitors with its spacious interior and function rooms. The restaurant serves delicious Cantonese cuisine, although some dishes like the Yangchow fried rice may not meet expectations. Despite occasional erratic service, customers are generally well taken care of. Another branch stands out for its inclusion of Chinese-American food items, a rarity in the Philippines.
I am not a big fan of Chinese food but Wangfu changed the way how I feel about it. Their food is so modern yet there are no exotic ingredients. They still know the traditional taste that the Filipino eaters would definitely want. On top of that, their prices are sooo affordable! You can even get a simple yet deliciously prepared meal for around 500 pesos but it's still best to eat with big groups. Our top picks:Hainanese Chicken Ramen- Seafood Laksa- Hokkien Rice- Beef and broccoli set- Great customer service! Everyone is attentive and smiling. Food was amazing! Portion size is pretty good as well. Kudos to the staff for the great service - When you dine-in please ask the name Rhem He’s the best employee and he will assist you . Restroom is outside the restaurant (few steps away) and there is no WiFi. You can bring your pets and sit outside (al fresco dining).
Dennis T — Google review
We’re a group of 4 sitting near the entrance and we don’t think the air conditioner worked well on Wednesday night. The taste of the most dishes is nice, especially the dim sum. However, the portion of noodles is not enough for female to be full. Maybe that’s the strategy to sell more dim sum. I’d like to try the set meal next time.
Vita L — Google review
I usually dine here on weekdays when it’s not peak hours and there are fewer people. The staff aren’t exactly friendly, but they do attend to you, they give water and your drink while waiting for the food. Serving time takes around 15–20 minutes. I really like their salted egg chicken set, chicken feet, and milk tea. The place is also pleasantly quiet whenever I visit.
Mooncat — Google review
Great customer service! Everyone is attentive and smiling. Food was amazing! Portion size is pretty good as well. Definitely coming back! Ordered the pork siomai and salt & pepper tofu. They also offered me a complimentary coffee. Thank you to all the staff for being so warm 🙂
Pilar D — Google review
I keep coming back to Wang Fu mainly because of their delicious Salted Egg Fried Chicken and Tiger Prawn Hakaw; both are flavorful and satisfying. They also offer affordable set meals, which are great if you’re dining on a budget. However, one downside is the service. It took around 25 to 30 minutes for our orders to arrive, and the staff were generally inattentive and difficult to call. If you’re not in a rush and are craving some affordable Chinese comfort food, Wang Fu is still worth a visit, but don’t expect quick service.
Shiela A — Google review
Taste not bad, for those who missed singapore or chinese food and healthier food this is the place. Portion is big serving too.

Its my first time dining at Wangfu Chinese Cafe, and i was really impressed!, i tried their Set Meal sweet and sour lychee pork, the flavor was perfectly balanced with just the right mix of tangy and sweet. The pork was tender and paired so well with the lychee twist! I also love their Nanyang Milk Tea, smooth, rich, and very refreshing. The service was excellent too. All staff are great, and special thanks to Ms. Hizzel for being so attentive and accommodating, she made the experience even more enjoyable. :) Overall i had a great dining experience. I’ll definitely come back to try more of their dishes soon! Highly recommended Wangfu Chinese Cafe Serendra to anyone craving great and delicious chinese comfort food with excellent service. :)

Shanghai Fried Siopao is a delightful twist on the classic siopao, a beloved steamed bun filled with asado. This popular Chinese snack takes the traditional siopao to new heights by frying the bottom to achieve a crispy and mouthwatering finish. Located in Binondo, this food stall attracts long lines of eager customers who can't resist its famous fried siopao.
Its just a take out counter. Fast and easy transaction. we tried their famous fried siopao for 35 pesos each. at first impression I said it was small but when i tried it, I was blown because it tasted good. Value for money. its not literally friend. Still steamed bun but the bottom was toasted in a pan. theyve already packed the siopao in Case where there is a long line and so that customers buying can go fast. there was no line when we purchased because it was early in the morning. they also have packed dumplings that you can take out
Dina M — Google review
Bottomfried only. ♨️ The shop offers alot more snacks and we got the following below for your reference (prices were not listed since it varies depending on the demand): ♨️ Fried Siopao: Had high hopes for this bun since i love crunchness on my food but to my surprise, the bao is only fried on the bottom. Then the filling is just like your typical siopao with ground pork, onions, spices and some peppers. ♨️ Mooncake: We got the diced one and it tastes good. Kinda tastes like the mongo hopia but its definitely a must-try in your Binondo trip ♨️ Prepped Dumpling: Another one that I had a high hopes for because I was expecting it to be like Angkong (USTe dimsum place) type of dumpling but its soggy and the filling was mixed vegetables and spices. Probably better steamed than fried tho. Storage for the dumpling is around 2 weeks. Queue looks long but the service was fast and staff were able to cater the customers very well.

Shanghai Fried Siopao is a popular, small food stall in Binondo, Manila, famous for its unique fried siopao, which are actually steamed in oil to achieve a crispy bottom while remaining soft and fluffy inside. Located on Ongpin Street, it's a well-known spot for a quick, delicious, and affordable snack. The stall is recognizable by a simple sign and is known for its fast turnover, ensuring the siopao is always served hot and fresh.
Joel F — Google review
One of the originals and a must try when you're in Binondo. Toasted siopao is delicious and what you're paying is the quality and consistency of the recipe. Again, expect a queue during rush hours!
Leo A — Google review
Very fast service, dont be intimidated even if there is a queue. It moves very fast. There was about 6 people infront of me and i only had to wait minutes. They have different food items instead of just siopao.their siopao is pretty good. I would say the base is not as crusty. Very decent.
SL W — Google review
We passed by at around 8ish in the morning and there was already a line. We got their siomai and they were so freshly made we waited until we were seated somewhere indoors before trying it. The siopao is flavorful and fresh that I honestly get the hype of the siopao. Would recommend to add this stop for anyone doing a binondo food crawl.
Ria J — Google review
The most affordable and convenient food you can find in Binondo for only 35php, sobrang sulit. The long queue was fine they have fast service but quite hard to scan other items they are selling. They are very focus on siopao solely. I always try to buy here when I pass by. Can't find similar taste like this to other places. It's like a dumpling but in siopao style. Yummy.
Joao R — Google review
Amazing siopao and would definitely go again. The lines were short but maybe we were very lucky. They also had a few other things that were worth trying out but I wanted to eat at a few places instead. Price is reasonable. Can be a bit tricky to get to but well worth traveling there.
