SM Megamall Building A is a massive, non-air-conditioned mall located in Ortigas, bustling with crowds seeking fake brands, jewelry, and colorful artwork. It is one of the largest malls along EDSA highway sprawled across Pasig City and Mandaluyong City. The mall consists of three interconnected buildings - A & B and the Fashion Mall. Visitors can find hundreds of restaurants, fashion shops, specialty stores, and even a chapel for mass.
SM Megamall is massive! So many stores, restaurants, and fun spots under one roof. Loved the mix of local and international brands. Clean, lively, and perfect for shopping or just chilling. The ice skating rink and cinema added a cool touch to our visit!
Dr S — Google review
It's ok overall, it has a huge selection of stores, including an IMAX cinema and an Ice ring. Things that could be improved would be travelators to help with the long walks from one shop to the next. Although rental electric scooters are available at the lower floor of building A. Things I didn't like where the lack fo good air-conditioning at the top floors, we really shouldn't be sweating in the mall. Sadly several doors on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 lead directly to the parking lot and are occasionally left open allowing lots of toxic car fumes and pollution in. On my last visit only on level 5 and higher the air felt clean, as well as at the basement near Dunkin Donuts and the Timezone area. Personally i feel it's the most polluted mall I've been to in the NCR, according to how many floors were affected, followed by the lower floors of Farmers Plaza, One side of SM Fairview and The Parking Side of SM annex which affects about 1/3 of all the floors of SM Annex North Edsa. Double doors, Air Curtains or Complete Closure of doors leading to the parking lot on several floors can really help make the indoor environment more comfortable.

October 2025 One of the country's iconic and once largest mall complex. It has a very manageable layout and often is the one stop mall in the area. Now undergoing a lot of renovations. It's payday sale weekends are often popular and also causes massive traffic. Nearby malls are all walking distances.
Oliver P — Google review
SM Megamall is an incredibly spacious mall that truly lives up to its "mega" name. You'll find a massive selection of stores/merchandise and also lots of restaurants offering different cuisines. Its location is super convenient, being right by the Ortigas MRT station, and it's also act as a transport hub with terminals for fx, buses, and jeeps heading to places like Binangonan or Batangas.
Besinga, P — Google review
Liked extremely the safety for pedestrians walking and crossings, with wider footpaths, safe crossings with pedestrian refuse integrated in design apart from enforcement for vehicles on signals and pedestrian crossings.
Amar K — Google review
The side of SM Megamall close to the MRT Ortigas Station with entrance leading to the vast supermarket. The Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord is located at its 5th level. The mall has a neat, compact layout where each floor level has similar array of shops and boutiques. Megamall is among the nostalgic malls '90s kids fondly remembers and even had a name parody, Megamol, as title to the 1994 comedy flick starring rapper Andrew E. and showbiz megastar, Sharon Cuneta.

This mall almost have it all. Easy to shop and great variety of shops and restaurants to choose from.

Nestled in the heart of Ortigas, The Podium is a modern shopping haven that boasts over 80 brand-name shops and an impressive array of dining options. This sleek shopping center has recently undergone expansion, enhancing its spaciousness and making it a delightful destination for both retail therapy and culinary adventures. Visitors rave about the diverse selection of stores, which range from popular brands to unique boutiques, ensuring there's something for every shopper's taste.
My first time to visit The Podium after it was renovated. I was in this mall way before the pandemic. I was really curious to see it again after it was upgraded. True enough, I was so impressed with the new look of the mall. The interior architecture was amazing. It exuded a futuristic vibe. It is so much more elegant than I could remember. The scent as you enter the mall reminded me of high end malls I've visited in other countries. Went through some of the stores. Indeed, this mall is for the upper market.
Johnnie F — Google review
It's a high end mall, but for some reason I don't feel intimidated as a low income individual, and it feels like home. The mall smells really good, not too crowded, comfort rooms are maintained at high standards, and has a variety of mid to high-end retails. They have a food court that prolly serves for all masses. It is mid-sized, but I don't get bored wandering around many times. Def one of the best malls on top around the Metro.
Yuu — Google review
The Podium is a really nice mall located in Ortigas. It looks very clean and luxurious, with a modern design that makes it feel classy and relaxing. I liked it so much because it’s not too crowded and has a lot of great stores, restaurants, and cozy spots to hang out. It's a perfect place to shop, eat, or just chill with friends or family.

Throughout this review period, Sir Marky, Maam Lovely and the server Gerald has consistently give their best efforts to serve us. Their attention, to every needs of a customer is outstanding and positive attitude. Given the circumstances that they are exhausted and kuya markys team are very affectionate to us. Therefore, genuine care for guests have contributed greatly to the overall dining experience. I would like to thank to Sir Marky, Cap Kyle Team for greatly given us the time, effort to greet our birthday girl Maam Kathleen Ampuan. They are a valued team who sets a great example for others. Thank you Team Podium!

This is the most incredible mall I think I've ever been to! Everything seems like it's brand new and there are very few people here. The layout is incredible if you go up to the 6th floor there are gardens and you can see all of the buildings around you. If you've got a dog check out the awesome paw Park!

The Podium – Don’t go for the shopping, Go for the Ambiance, food, and coffee The Podium is a small to medium sized mall with a limited selection of shops. But what it lacks in shopping diversity, it makes up for the great selection of fine restaurants and fine coffee shops. The ambiance is also remarkable; the moment I entered it I felt relaxed!! and it is located in a very nice area. If shopping is your main concern, just visit this place to have a meal and then a nice walk in a nice place, then buy a cup of coffee and just go outside the mall and take a VERY short walk to SM Mega Mall for your shopping needs. The Good: - The ambiance is very relaxing and the mall is not crowded. - A fine selection of places to eat and to drink coffee or have dessert. - Just a short walk from SM Mega Mall. The (Not So) Bad: - Small compared to other malls in the area, but just try it and you will like it. .Peace.

Vikings Luxury Buffet - SM Megamall

Restaurant
Vikings Luxury Buffet at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong is a top-notch dining destination known for its extravagant international buffet spread. This restaurant offers an extensive selection of Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and Western dishes including pasta and pizza. The unlimited servings and wide array of desserts make it perfect for grand celebrations with friends or family. Visitors are encouraged to arrive with a hearty appetite as the experience promises to be indulgent.
Vikings buffet SM Megamall. The favorite staple buffet of the Filipino people. I am still floored with how they are able to serve at least 1000 pax in a single lunch or dinner service. The choices are simply unbeatable. It is virtually impossible to taste all of the food in every station. The selection in this place even beats the higher priced sibling, NIU. Perhaps it is due to the economics. There is simply too many people dining here which pushes food costs lower. The key difference is they only serve the Tempura at three a piece. Its a longer queue but the quality seems the same as in NIU. The salmon sashimi is also served per platelet, and towards the end, it actually ran out. Every single food option has more variety. Even the charcuterie was a level up. They also have Coke products served now. The value simply cannot be beat in dining here. Most of what we got was actually good, except the steak rice was not as good as I remember it to be. This place proves that Filipinos really love to eat. Nothing much more to say. Five out of five.
Marvin U — Google review
For years, Vikings has been synonymous with a high-quality buffet experience, albeit with a hefty price tag. During my recent visit to Manila, I was intrigued to discover that they had lowered their prices. Eager to indulge in a variety of delectable dishes for dinner, I arrived an hour after their doors opened, expecting a feast. To my surprise, I found that most of the Asian food options were remarkably low or completely empty, with no apparent efforts to replenish them. The line for the tempura was especially long, with diners eagerly waiting for the few pieces that were available. Moving on to the other side, where American, European, and Filipino cuisine was offered, I was disappointed to see that popular items like lechon and steak had even longer lines—far exceeding that of the tempura. It was disheartening to realize that a significant portion of the food choices had been depleted, and many items were not being refilled. The overall selection of food felt limited and rather bland, as if little effort had been invested in creating dynamic flavors or diverse offerings. On a brighter note, the dessert section did feature a better variety of sweets, providing a pleasant contrast to the savory dishes. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The staff appeared disorganized, which contributed to a chaotic dining experience. The dining area itself was poorly arranged, with tables squeezed closely together, making it almost impossible to navigate without bumping into fellow diners. In summary, this experience was not worth the price. The decline in the quality of both food and service was evident, and it became quite clear why they had opted to lower their prices. Sadly, this visit did not live up to the high standards I had come to associate with Vikings, and it significantly detracted from an enjoyable dining experience.
Bernie — Google review
My experience at Vikings Megamall was highly positive, particularly due to the extensive food selection and the cleanliness of the establishment. They offer a wide variety of food options, and I have always found the establishment to be exceptionally clean. I would certainly recommend their service, and the quality of the food is superb. I have been to the Alley uptown and SM north. But this one really stands out.

October 18, 2025 We paid 1238 each because it's weekends. Their black angus beef is tough to chew. I have to cut it in smaller pieces just to swallow it. Their red pasta is a bit sweet, I think it is like that to fit the Pinoys' taste buds. The makis are alright. Eggplant tempuras are freshly fried. The dumplings are also good because of it's thin skin. I also raved their fried mantao, it is sweet and toasted. And I also got some appetizers which also good like the mozzarela and pepper toast. I was a bit disappointed with the churros. Because even if it is hot and fresh from the pan. I don't taste the same churros that I fell in love with🥲 But I will still come back in Vikings.

We had an amazing dining experience celebrating my birthday at Vikings Megamall. The variety of food was absolutely incredible from appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were so attentive, and quick to assist with anything we needed. Kudos to Sir Kevin for welcoming us so warmly. Thank you, Vikings Megamall! for making my day so memorable! We’ll definitely be back for more celebrations. 🎉 🎂💖

This branch of Vikings has a warm ambience. The venue has a wide area and organized food stations. Me and my partner enjoyed eating here, unlike the one we had in the Alley UP Town.

Tim Ho Wan is a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant known for its delectable dim sum and viands. The Chef's Baskets offer a variety of popular dishes, from baked buns to pork ribs and spring rolls. The staff provides quick service with piping hot food in less than ten minutes, making it perfect for a quick bite. The flavorful rice toppings, dumplings, and chicken wings provide an enjoyable dining experience.
Been craving for the autentic Chinese dim sum since last month Happened to be walking around Mega mall and chanced upon THW. Cant tell you how happy I was. The steamed food tells the standard of a dim sum place. The siew mai is so really soft and chewy.. The meat and prawns chunky. The spicy dumplings is always my must have. They are great as well. The sauce is sour enough for me. The roasted meat buns tasted sweet and it is what it is to be Yummy and great service even though the guys were real busy Cheers. Thanks for bringing HK food to us in Manila...

Had Lunch here with my Uncle and Aunt Yesterday. This was where they wanted to eat. I got the Chicken Mushroom Rice, Steamed Spare ribs, Pork Bun (which they ordered for me), plus the Taro Sago plus Iced Tea. Service was quite fast but they forgot my Taro Sago so we had to Follow up for this. Food was okay, nothing really to rave about. The Pork Bun i did not really like, its filling was super sweet but my Aunt and Uncle thought otherwise. If not their treat will not eat ar Tim Ho Wan.

I had my reservations at first since there were no lines like there used to be, but once I had their food, I fell in love with it. I highly recommend their dimsum here. It is quite tasty! I also liked their minced beef with egg rice. I would definitely eat here again!

We had dinner for a party of twenty-five. The servers accomodated us and waiting time for all dishes were reasonable. Bill total came to about 22,000 PHP with senior citizen ID discounts (we had a lot of senior citizens). Great experience, overall.

Located at the 1st floor of SM Megamall Fashion Hall. Food is great, I personally liked the Sparerib Rice (especially when you put chili garlic in the pot). We went here past lunch time and service is really fast! We got our food in less than 10 mins I think. The custard bun was pretty runny, but flavor is actually nice! The buttery sweetness compliments the bouncy steamed bun. They accept card payments. They also have their own washroom.
Marc J — Google review
Food - Great! Quantity and price are exceptional for Chinese cuisine. We ordered the dimsum sampler along with side orders and even had enough for take home. Service - A bit crowded and some tables are too small but enough to cater small (and even big groups, for certain tables) gatherings. Atmosphere - Family vibes since most diners are in groups. They also serve fast and allow you to choose your set with their menu checklist.
Leslie D — Google review
This restaurant offers delicious food. It's no surprise that many people eat at this restaurant during lunch and dinner. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. However, I do find the portion sizes a bit small.
Darwin B — Google review
The service made it 1 out of 5 You know how cramped their space is, so I accidentally caught their sauce on my way out of the table, and it fell off the table. Well, I apologize, however that one crew exclaimed, ano yan natapon?! Did not even acknowledge my apology. crew in tim ho wan is something else. Food was good though Pork and Shrimp Dumpling 4pcs: 180php 5/5 my favorite siomai ever Prawn Chicken 3pcs: 180php: 3.5/5 not as juicy, but the prawn flavor saved it. Still yummy and soft, even when it is over fried. imo Iced Tea: 70php: 2/5 It's not house blend, not refreshing, but at least it is cheap and it is served in tall big glass. Steamed Rice 1 cup: 70php:1/5 Expensive. @_@ Total Bill: 500.00 I'd say, crew needs to be more warm and more attentive to their customer needs.

Las Flores

Las Flores is a hidden gem that perfectly captures the essence of Spanish cuisine while infusing it with a modern twist. Nestled in The Podium, this charming spot boasts a laid-back atmosphere that invites you to unwind and savor every bite. Their menu features mouthwatering tapas like Gambas al Ajillo, where succulent shrimp are bathed in garlic and olive oil, and Jamon Iberico Croquetas—crispy potato balls filled with rich Iberico ham.
Las Flores has been around for years but not only is it thriving, it still delivers great Spanish dishes. As an old-er person, I kinda like seeing restos that have stood the test of time despite all the trendy stuff around, maybe not as vibrant as before but still kicking and keeping up with the times, joint creaks and all. Waitaminute, maybe the review has digressed from the restaurant to me haha. Going back to the food, a special mention to how perfectly the cod was cooked in the fish and chips dish. For the paella (this time we got the negra and pollo cerdo), authenticity meets pure deliciousness.
Bill Y — Google review
Feb2025 The Spanish themed resto of The Bistro Group has a mainstay presence at The Podium. Known more for its tapas menu which is further enhanced by a specialized set of cocktails and an extensive alcohol listing. Food wise they also try to cater to the latest and traditional trends and favorites such as cochinillos, paellas, salipacos, etc. There are also lots of fusion style dishes. Service is attentive though may be often inconsistent like when our server mistook salmon for halibut. The place is airy, with a high ceiling, and is bright with tasteful furnishings Ideal for the Ortigas corporate crowd as well as family gatherings.
Oliver P — Google review
Really good Spanish food. That's how I'd sum it up. It's right next to the mall entrance, so it's quite accessible. Seating wise is also quite comfortable. Staff were attentive and is very helpful in recommending the right dish. I had the pan con tomate, gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) and croquetas de jamon. All ate very nicely prepared. Brings me back to my dinner in Barcelona! It was slightly pricey, but I enjoyed it very much.
Louis L — Google review
We visited Las Flores on a quiet day, so it was surprising how difficult it was to get the staff’s attention—even just to place our order or make a simple request. The service felt inattentive and inconsistent throughout our meal. On the bright side, the croquetas were quite good, 😋 and the wagyu steak was undeniably delicious—tender, flavorful, and cooked well. However, the presentation was a major letdown. For such a premium dish, we expected more care and creativity 🫤

i had Flores and Hyleen serving me tonight and they were so pleasant and courteous. my ribs flew to the floor due to my carelessness and made mess on the floor. Both came patiently to clean up my mess and kept on smiling. They even replaced my ribs a quickly as possible. so excellent service. well done ladies. you do Las Flores proud today. Will definitely be back with more friends and let them enjoy such hospitality.

Las Flores at Podium provides a delightful dining experience with a blend of authentic Spanish cuisine in a modern fusion style. The ambiance is pleasant, the staff attentive, and the surroundings serene. The service is excellent, with servers who are friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The menu is particularly interesting with its diverse selections, offering a mix of traditional Spanish flavors with innovative twists. I had an enjoyable lunch today, and the dessert was truly exceptional. Each dish is not only delicious but also presented impeccably, emphasizing their commitment to both taste and aesthetics.

This place is one of my favorite restaurants in Metro Manila. The food never fails! I had croquettes, paella, salad, and their signature cheesecake with mango sorbet last week. Wildflour Restaurant - Podium offers a diverse dinner menu with options like steaks, pastas, specialty breads, and cakes. It's a great spot for couples who appreciate having plenty of choices. Additionally, the brunch menu is equally impressive, making it an ideal place for a date or casual dining experience. The restaurant boasts rustic and homey interiors that add to its charm. The staff are friendly and approachable, although there might be some occasional delays in serving the food.
Wildflour’s tres leches and coffee aren’t just food—they’re little celebrations in the middle of the day. No guilt, no hesitation, just happy taste buds. Quality like this? Deserves a spot on the regular rotation.

Food is generally good quality and I like many of their dishes. Am particularly fond of their pastries and other baked products. This time we got A. Salad (the greens) - discovered this on a prior visit and found it to be good. I find the the dressing just right B. Ink pasta - was okay C. Mushroom pasta - it was creamy, but salty for me. D. Tasmanian salmon - a bit pricey but I liked it. More of a seafood mix and can be shared by 2 My kids got ginger ale and the pistachio latte. The latte was good but quite sweet. Did not try the ale so can't really comment.

The bibingka cheesecake was delicious. I loved how the salted egg and cheese perfectly balanced the sweetness of the cake. However, at over 400 pesos a slice, it's a bit pricey for me, but definitely worth a try

Wildflour podium isn’t what it used to be. Before, it’s all about downright good food and snappy services. Now, it tastes like airport food with extreeeeeemly slow service. The only kudos i can think of is with their trainer that services water so attentively. Special shoutout to the thai chicken curry that, unfortunately, ruined my appetite for thai chicken curry. I can’t believe they’re serving something that tastes like instant food with lazy plating skills. I wonder if it’s the same for other wildflour restos?

I was lured by the good-looking pastry shown in front of the place, so I decided to dine in with a friend. For everything here is undeniable that it's overpriced, though I bet that's worth the quality. However, I feel like the taste is not yet there for me. I've got to admit that their fried chicken made nicely, as it wasn't oily and too dry, but it wasn't tender or tasted better than fast food restaurants either. Moreover, the service is no different from other restaurants I tried around here; it's just average. Nonetheless, I'll go there again to try other various menus of theirs at other branches.

Tori Chizu is a Japanese fast-food restaurant in Mandaluyong that has gained popularity among cheese and fried chicken enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a fusion of Asian and Western flavors, serving up comfort food favorites on one plate. With a casual ambience and counter service, it's known for its TC Original Chicken dish, featuring rice smothered in melted cheese and topped with chicken chunks. The generous portions and affordable prices make it a satisfying dining option for those craving cheesy delights.

Ambience: Curiosity kicked in once I noticed the signage from the escalator. I knew it was Japanese so I had to make my first visit! A fair number of seats are available and orders are done at the counter. Food: I wanted to start with something basic so I tried the TC Original Chicken. This dish was heavy! It had rice underneath a jacuzzi of melted cheese all topped with rubber duckies called chicken chunks. Everything was cooked well but the cheese looked, felt, and tasted so deadly. But, I still love pizza so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Iced Tea was delicious because it's house blend! Umami Style Fried Chicken is my favorite here so far. The batter had its own flavor and mixing that with the gravy, and what looked like a shredded seaweed snack on rice, were good! The competition for uniquely delicious chicken is tough, but I can say theirs can be distinguished from the rest. Service: Waiting time wasn't that bad.

I got curious and tried the food and they are actually really good and satisfying. The serving is big and not expensive. The iced tea is also only 20 pesos and 35 for big size. The baked rice with cheese are yummy and below 200 pesos and you can have have a combo set with chicken and drinks for 250 pesos. I'll go back when I crave for something cheesy.

Tried their Swiss Cheese & Mushroom Hamburg. I liked the patty it was nice and stuffed. But sadly there was a metal after taste which I think was coming from the plate. The food wasn’t sizzling hot though, it’s cold. Service and crew during the time we dine were warm, fast, and efficient.

Mixed feelings re this one. Some innovation re use of cheese, but only feeds the parasite. I tried the potato takoyaki, kinda liked it. The staff doesnt feel consistent, but not so bad naman. Price is good. Could go 4 stars for affordability with some quality. Better service could do the trick.
Oz D — Google review
At first glance, this place made me drool because I'm a cheese lover. Rice topped with baked melted cheese = yummy! However, when this was served, it made me rethink that it wasn't worth the wait. It was too oily that it didn't make me enjoy the meal much. I would rather pay a bit more than eat a sloppy oily baked cheese rice.
Yogo C — Google review
For cheese lovers. Its good for its price point Rice on their Doria is too wet. Dont expect much as thier food is cheap. For the price its worth every bite.
Sherdon G — Google review
Food is almost all cheese. Personally like that kind of gimmick but it ain't for all. It's all cheese on cheese so if you're the type of person who isn't really keen on eating the same type of food for the whole meal then you might not like it after finishing half of it. Good service though and still love those cheese filled Dorias.

Nestled in the heart of Quezon City, the Quezon Memorial Circle, also known as "Circle," is a bustling urban park that pays tribute to former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon. This national park boasts a 66-meter mausoleum housing the Quezon Memorial Shrine, offering an observation deck with panoramic city views. Visitors can explore various museums such as Museo ni Manuel L.
Lovely calm oasis of calm in crazy Manila. There a lovely Art Deco monument dedicated to Manuel L. Quezon, which also enshrines his remains. Plenty of activities as well as a couple of museums too. The circle is really difficult to get to by foot. There seems to be only one underground passageway.
Chung H — Google review
Good park but kind of hard to go to due to the traffic before you get to the underpass, if there's no enforcers on the streets cars don't prioritize pedestrians. An ok place to workout and see events by different groups like the QC adoption, bathrooms are nicer now however some are closed? They shouldn't be, there are more senior citizens that try and workout here and having no immediate access to that sucks given by how much the budget was used, also people bathe inside?? Hoping for a dedicated shower room instead, also I'll mostly post the cats and dogs I'll see in the park as the photos hehe
Shina A — Google review
Such a good place to jogging, walking, or even just to watching and enjoying the view. The Circle is big, there are some vendors that sell food, there are some broken restroom, only one that working. There are also some feral cats in there

One of my favorite parks and among the most beautiful in the country. Located in the heart of Quezon City and very accessible since the park is in the Elliptical Road that connects to main roads and avenues. You can also take the underpass that connects QMC with the Quezon City Hall. Great for nature trip, garden shows and stalls for gardening supplies, jogging and other activities for health and wellness as well as historical tours because the Quezon Heritage House, Museo ni Manuel Quezon, and Presidential Cars Museum are also located here.

I am happy that they are renovating this place. The public toilet rooms are well maintained, they got new cubicles and lavatories and with bidet. Hope we can take care of this place for the future. Plenty of food stalls of cheap prices that can definitely be affordable for a large family. Playgrounds are still there for your kids to play around. Plenty of benches to sit on and there are spots where you can have whatever agenda your having with a group of people you don't even know, for example Zumba, political debate, boxing, latest cheese miss, listen and not judge.

Quezon Memorial Circle is a national park located in the heart of Quezon City, built to honor the legacy of the first President of the Philippines, Manuel L. Quezon. At the center of the park stands the Quezon Memorial Shrine, a 66-meter-tall monument designed to represent Quezon’s age at the time of his death. At the top of the tower are three mourning angels, each symbolizing the three major island groups of the Philippines—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—representing the unity of the nation. Within the park grounds, you’ll also find the mausoleum of President Quezon and his wife, Aurora Quezon, a history museum, a small amusement park, botanical gardens, local markets, and cafés. The park serves as a beloved recreational space where history, leisure, and nature come together for both locals and visitors alike.

Manuel L Quezon, thr Commonwealth president is immortalized in the city bearing his name and in this circular memorial park. From my photos, you can see the vast parkwalkways, the three pronged white obelisks, the Jewish memorial and the Quezon heritage museum house. A viable entertaining and ecological breath of fresh air alternative to chilling at the malls is here.

This place is a fun way to spend half a day shopping and eating. It’s a mix of housing, recreation and shopping options bundled together aesthetically. Built by Megaworld, it looks similar to Venice Grand Canal Mall but it’s bigger and better. There are premium stores and you can expect to find a lot of the popular brands. You can find restaurants like Denny’s, TGIF, Manam, Greyhound Cafe, Jin Joo, Vikings, and similar options.

San Felipe Neri Parish Church in Poblacion, Mandaluyong City is a historical sanctuary amidst the city's modernity. It stands as a testament to the area's spiritual heritage and offers solace from urban hustle. Despite its location on busy streets, it remains a peaceful place of worship with a grotto devotion area for Jesus Christ near the entrance. The church is spacious, equipped with amenities like TV streaming, and has a large parking lot suitable for events like weddings.
Very spacious parish. We’’ve been attending Simbang Gabi here for two years and never all homilies by the assigned priests per mass are worth listening to.

Beautiful and old looking parish dedicated to Saint Philip Neri located in Mandaluyong City. While it’s not the biggest church, it is quite long. The church exterior gives off a slight gothic feel because of the 2 bell towers and the old looking walls. The interior is beautiful with art covering the walls with a beautiful central altar. The church has a good sound system. The mass service was amazing. Recommend visiting if you’re in Mandaluyong.
Ramcel C — Google review
The oldest church in Mandaluyong established by the Franciscans dating back to the 19th century. It was a witness to historic events involving Katipuneros of the Phillippine Revolution to Guerillas of WWII. The Church is ideal for weddings due to its bright interiors, painted ceilings, marble floors, colorful tile mosaics and spacious patio/parking with a century old acacia tree. The main door is made of carved wood decorated with details from San Felipe's life. When the door is closed, a small indoor space is left which is perfect for the bride's dramatic entrance since she wouldn't have to wait outdoors. Enshrined in the antique retablo are the images of Mary the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the City as well as San Felipe Neri (Titular Patron) and San Francisco de Asis (Founder of the Franciscan Order). On the left transept is the Baptismal Font and a retablo with the first class relic of San Felipe Neri, also famously known as the Patron Saint of Joy. Here parishioners and pilgrims can pray to the Saint particularly for the grace of joy and strength in trying times. A Statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is located outside near the main entrance. Tree shaded benches are placed in front of the statue for those who want to pray outside. You can also find votive candle stands for offering prayers. Candles of different colors and flowers are available from vendors near the statue. They look organized since there are stalls built for them so they are located in just one place. There is an air-conditioned Adoration Chapel near the Church for those who want a more intimate prayer experience with God. Shoes are not allowed to be worn inside as a sign of reverence to a sacred place.
Eric P — Google review
One of the oldest Church in Mandaluyong, situated in the traffic-prone busy streets of Boni Avenue, near Aglipay St. The entrance road is a little bumpy, and may easily crowded even weekdays. There is a grotto devotion area for Jesus Christ situated near the entrance/exit gate, where you can buy candles from the nearest vendor, and lit in the designated area of the grotto. Color candles at P4.00 each, has designated symbol of petition, provided in the peddlers. There is no problem with encashing money, since two ATMs, one is the BDO and PNB, available online. At the back of the Church is the crypt, consisting of columbaries used to store urns fron cremated remains of departed love ones.
Leandro B — Google review
Spacious church, has TV for streaming so everyone even at the back will be able to see and hear the priest. It has a huge parking lot, great for weddings. They close the doors when the Bride is about to enter. Beautiful church.

Ramen restaurant
Ramen Daisho is a must-visit for those craving deep-fried Japanese specialties. Their bento boxes offer great value, featuring options like tonkatsu, chicken katsu, or ebi tempura alongside side dishes such as miso soup and stir-fried vegetables. The restaurant's style of cooking mirrors Ukokkei Ramen Ron, known for its thin milky broth base available in variants like Miso, Shio, Shoyu, and Tonkotsu.
Still the best Shio Ramen I've had so far! Sept 2022: They also changed the take out containers from the wax paper bowls to a new plastic one where the noodles and toppings are separated by a inner bowl, which greatly lessens the plastic bags and waste!
Paul P — Google review
Tonkotsu Ramen is their best seller and it's good. Place is quiet and service is fine. Nothing fantastic about this place but good enough for someone looking to get a quick fix for Japanese food.
Benedict A — Google review
I tried their signature Miso Larmen. Noodle is okay but Soup is extremely salty. Their paper place mat says "since our soup is very healthy, you should drink all their larmen broth. etc... " I tried my best but could not. Obviously, the current taste is far from their original head chef's. To make matters worse, fried topping on the larmen makes the soup too oily. Optional topping is also expensive even raw garlic and spicy miso paste. (usually Japanese larmen shops offer these inexpensive topping for free.) For I like their group Ukokkei ramen Ron's taste, I expected their larmen quality before i tried. However, I was deeply disappointed with their quality.
Larmen R — Google review
Their bestseller Tonkatsu Ramen has that milky-ish taste on both the broth and noodles; it has that faint sweetness that almost made the ramen taste like Chinese wanton. Not a fan of Hakata ramen. But I'm all praise for their gyoza (not one bit gingery, ond of the best!) and wagyu (the meat's heavenly juice was sealed inside)!
Lawrence A — Google review
Gyoza was cooked perfectly. I ordered their miso ramen and its a little too salty for my taste. Their house tea is brewed just right, it was light and refreshing.
Dapple M — Google review
The gyoza was great. Ramen was acceptable. Parking available with validation.
Judy E — Google review
Some will probably be satisfied with what they offer but since I've developed a mostly biased taste for Yokohama-style ramen, I'm not the most objective reviewer for this. A couple of things, the broth needs more flavor and the noodles are forgettable. However, I've enjoyed the gelato.
Novemiel L — Google review
Good but pricey love their chasu rice and katsudon for a ramen place their none ramen dishes are good. How Japanese is the flavore? As our clients from Korea would say nothing compares to the real thing from Japan and Korea the difference is just too much maybe its the water. Ramen Daiso still provides a good local alternative however. Just be warned Ortigas branch is a bit small and can get crowded at lunchtime.

Chinese restaurant
Charlie Wanton Special is a hidden gem located in Mandaluyong's Haig Street, offering a delightful take on Beef Wanton Mami with thin, chewy egg noodles and flavorful broth. This small restaurant specializes in Chinese comfort food like wanton noodles, siopao, and siomai, along with other dishes such as rice toppings and congee. Despite its shady location and limited parking, the place is known for its delicious offerings that are worth the wait.
Many food vloggers view their Beef Wanton as among Manila's best. So I wiggled through the inner streets of Mandaluyong and queued up for 20 minutes to check : "Is Charlie indeed an Angel? " 🤔 And my 1-5 rating is... Expectation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambience ⭐️⭐️ PRO TIP: Skip the Siopao. 🤫
Ruel V — Google review
📌 Taste: Beef Wanton – Average flavor. The broth and noodles were okay, but nothing that really stood out or made it memorable. Could use a stronger, more distinct taste. Siopao – Standard, nothing special. The filling was fine but lacked the richness or unique twist that would set it apart. Siomai – Surprisingly decent. Flavorful enough and a good choice if you’re looking for something affordable. 💰 Price: Beef Wanton feels a bit pricey for the flavor and portion size. Siopao is reasonably priced but doesn’t offer anything unique. Siomai is the most value-for-money among what I ordered.
Edward G — Google review
Ordered beef wanton special mami and siomai. I like the broth in the mami as it is light with a slight hint of star anise, maybe from the braised beef. Really comforting. For it's price though, they could have been more generous with the beef toppings, especially if you compare it to pares places which also serve the same thing. Siomai is big but has a weird texture as it did not feel meaty at all, probably due to the extenders.
Lenard V — Google review
The place was highly recommended and was called legendary by food vloggers. We ordered their bestseller special beef wanton mami, asado rice with sauce & vegetables, pork tausi rice, machang, bola bola siopao, and asado siopao. They serve free soup for appetizer. I can say that their beef wanton mami lives up to its reputation. It could well be the best beef wanton mami I have tasted. However, their other dishes were mediocre for me. Their rice toppings were definitely not legendary by any means. They were mid at best. I was just disappointed while consuming my order. There was also nothing to rave about their siopao. I have had other siopaos from discreet places better than this. If you're craving for a good beef wanton mami then I will recommend this place. If you're looking for other dishes especially rice toppings then I cannot recommend this place.

they have some parking, but can easily fill up. no street parking allowed. serving sizes are generous, except for their mami lineup. our wanton soup was cute in size, compared to makimi which was quite big. taste wise, the wanton was good, but makimi is, lets just say, different. the sweet sour pork is average, as the sweet sour sauce is not that good and the meat is not that soft. lohanchai is big in size and lots of ingredients, but the sauce is generic.

Best beef wonton! The noodles and vegetables are so fresh, and the soup is deliciously made. Seating is limited, so you may have to wait if you’re planning to dine in, but it’s definitely worth it! Must-tries: beef wonton, siopao asado, and chicken mami. 👌

OG resto for Beef Wanton Mami. Their consistency lasts for years. Serving is still generous though there’s a price hike already it still offers good value for money. Siopao and chopsuey rice toppings are also very tasty. Siomai is big but not as savory as siopao and beef wanton. Parking is available but limited

Provenciano, located in Quezon City, is a popular Filipino restaurant offering a wide array of authentic regional dishes from various provinces in the Philippines. The name 'Provenciano' reflects its commitment to serving traditional cuisine found in rural areas. The menu features carefully curated specialties such as sinaing na tulingan, a slow-cooked mackerel wrapped in banana leaves and boiled with kamias for a subtle sourness.

First time. Came for dinner. Good thing upon passing by (thinking there was no parking), there was one slot available and so we took it. We were seated quickly as they were preparing the table which was in their private dining area. The ambiance was busy and full of conversations. We were given menus upon sitting, and it didn’t take long for us to give our food order. Food was good and served hot-delicious and huge portion of kansi, tasty chicken steak. The staff are nice and quick to respond to requests.

If you're craving authentic Filipino food with a charming provincial ambiance, Provenciano Restaurant is a must-visit! The rustic décor, highlighted by a vintage kalesa at the entrance, sets the mood for a heartwarming Filipino dining experience.

My fave has got to be the okoy and laing as pairing. As well as the bibingka and puto bumbong, a must every time we eat here! Ambiance is still the same the last time I remember.

My go to Filipino restaurant! If I have to impress a relative or a friend, I bring them here. Wide selection of Filipino food from mains to desserts. The price to serving ratio is really 🤌. My favourite is their kansi! A must try. Service was fast, and all of the dishes that I tried were flavorful. Limited parking in the area. They can also accommodate reservations.

Each meals are best and even the place was nice. But only the customer service are poor specially the waiters and waitress approaching the incoming guests and some can't attend request of each customers. Kudos to the security guard handling the reservation.

One of the best restaurants in Maginhawa for a Filipino food. Food is great and the staffs are accommodating and friendly. Lechon kawali is crispy and alamang is exactly salt and sweet. Tenderness of the meat is perfect. Kare-kare is must try as well, sauce is a little sweet and the meat melts in your mouth. Sauce palang is ulam na. (For improvement is the peanut butter is must mix very well). We just tasted the peanut butter in cubes. Just mixed it very well but overall is perfect. Gulaman is typically sweet. You may also make your own sawsawan at the corner. Parking area street parking front of the restaurant. Whole menu at the photos

I was able to try this restaurant few years back and really enjoyed the food. I even consider it as one of the best Filipino restaurants. That is why we opted to try it again now that I have tried several good Filipino restaurants. FOOD: Gising gising - 4star, even though it was not made from the usual sigarilyas, it was still good, with the proper level of heat. I just want the gata to be a bit more toasted to capture that smokey taste Pork Sisig - 5star really delicious and tasty. Far from the usual sisig with soy-mayo sauce, this is without any sauce, not dry but not crispy as well. Baby Pusit Adobo - 5star this is for me the best we ordered, very delicious, but on the salty side, perfect to pair with rice. The baby squid was perfectly cooked, I just wish the portion was bigger. Chicken Tinola with Gata - 2star, this is probably the biggest disappointment, the taste did not sip in to the chicken meat. I also wish they put more ginger. This for me lacks taste Bibingka - 4star, I love bibingka, this was good but for the price I was probably looking for something more special. Personally I feel like Manam's was a bit better, I even personally prefer Bibingkinitan SERVICE: Upon entering, we were quickly greeted and assisted, crew were very attentive and helpful. They missed serving our drinks, but it only took one follow up for them to quickly serve them. ATMOSPHERE: Clean and nice, with a traditional Filipino decor with slight eclectic vibe. Spacious and senior friendly. Overall, although there were disappointments we still enjoyed our dining experience, It may no longer be on top of our list for Filipino restaurants but it is still one of the good options. Probably we ordered the wrong dishes and might to revisit this and order other items from their menu.

Brotzeit EDSA Shangri-La Plaza is a delightful haven for those craving authentic German cuisine in Manila. This vibrant eatery, part of a Singaporean chain, has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. With an extensive menu featuring hearty meat dishes, tantalizing sausage platters, and an impressive selection of world-renowned German beers, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after a long day.
Great food, relaxing ambience. Nice list for wine and beer. Sausages are amazing, make sure to order the sausage platter if its your first time. Personally I love the pork curry sausage. Apple strudel can be improved. Staff are really friendly, they give recommendations and answer questions. They also gave a birthday cake for free :)

Food is good, beer is good! One of the best authentic German good in Manila (this brand is international though) I like everything except the staff. The staff is nice but they don't pay attention. I ordered 2 times the beer and 2 times for billing out. Nobody cares! I wish they have better attention to the guests! Moreover the hosting of their website is broken, they need to renew it to provide better information!

They're open until 12am. The place is located outside the mall so you really need to travel going there. We enjoyed the foood but it took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Try the beers and sausages they go well together!

One of the few places in Metro Manila that serve German cuisine. On a normal day, service is okay but our most recent visit (Father's Day) was quite bad as they were understaffed for the first 2 hours. Just brushed it off given that the staff were still courteous. As usual, their German sausages were savory delicious but we were very disappointed with how the currywurst and käsespätzle tasted bland. Another disappointment for me was finding out that they discontinued serving sauerkraut (why???) :( Sausages made up for the disappointment as well as discovering how their veal schnitzel and fladen with smoked salmon tasted really good.

Excellent location, excellent vibes with halogen bulbs and excellent choice of music. Need i mention the freshest draft beer in all of Manila, Pilsner Urquell was so sweet and refreshing. Food is excellent- wish i had a bigger stomach to try out everything else on the menu. Definitely will be going back soon for that draft beer.

Have eaten here many times over the past 5 years and it has been consistently declining in both food and service quality. The first 10 times or so, it was out of this world amazing! The Goulash Soup is spicy and delicious when it is served hot but several times it is has been brought out only warm. The Roasted Pork Knuckle is some of the best pork that I have ever had. The last time that we went we were told that that no longer have the Jaeger Sauce which was far superior to their standard brown gravy / sauce. That was a hug disappointment and I am afraid that we won't return. The appetizers are decent but unremarkable and the desserts are just ok. Sad to say but I have to delete Brotzeit from my normal rotation of quality dining choices. Good luck if you go and I hope that you experience is better than mine have become.

A meat lover's place. They do have salads for vegans; but German cuisine is heavy on meats. The goulash soup is delicious. The curry wurst was so good; I surprised myself when I finished the whole thing. When it first arrived at my table, I thought the portion was too much for me. The sauerkraut has a good zing to it; it complimented all the fatty and savory goodness of the meal. Their selection of German beers would be a good accompaniment. Don't miss the Heisse schokolade (hot chocolate). It's a drink and a dessert.

Good quality food specially their sausage. The price is quite expensive and starts at around P500. Good balance of indoor and ambient light giving that cozy feel.
