Hot Springs & Geysers
Nestled in a serene setting surrounded by mangroves, Maquinit Hot Spring is a must-visit destination near Coron Town. Accessible by hiking, tricycle, or as part of a guided tour, this saltwater hot spring offers a relaxing experience for travelers. Whether you've been snorkeling, diving, or exploring the nearby islands, unwinding in the warm pools at Maquinit Hot Spring is the perfect way to soothe tired muscles.
An all natural underground salt water hot spring open for public use. There are four different pools with four different temperatures. The first pool directly from the underground spring is a constant 41 degrees celsius. This pool overflows into a second pool that remains at a constant 40 degrees, which in turn overflows into the huge main pool at a constant 39 degrees and finally into the last pool which is stabilized at 38 degrees celsius before the water overflows into the neighboring ocean. Very relaxing and very therapeutic as you soak away the stress and tension from the days activities!
Rick B — Google review
A “hot” spot in Coron! Pool might get crowded but when we went, it wasn’t too much. It can get really hot in the pool. That’s why it’s suggested to do intervals going in and out. A must visit, especially after your tours to sooth the muscles.
Adrian — Google review
The last stop for the land tour but can also be accessible by tricycle. It is a large hot spring and luckily when we visited, it was not too crowded and was able to enjoy it. It is only good for soaking and not for swimming. The good thing is there are rules around to follow. Besides that, the place also has mangroves which is overlooking the sea. The hot spring is relaxing after a very long day. Make sure to bring extra clothes for changing or a towel as it can get uncomfortable commuting when still wet. The best time to visit is when the sun starts to set so it would not be too hot for the hot spring.
Hillary C — Google review
Nice for relaxing. Part of town tour, but you can just rent tricycle or motor going here. Entrance fee as of date is Php300. Well maintained spring. No shower area, only misting/cooling area. There are a lot of changing/Restroom.
Audrey N — Google review
Nice natural hot spring facility. Lots of space to lounge with one large pool area plus a few smaller pools. Misting area available. 300₽ entrance fee. Road leading up to the hot spring is a little rough if travelling by tricycle but is manageable. Bring your own towel. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.
Gail F — Google review
Maquinit Hot Spring in Coron, Palawan is a unique saltwater hot spring surrounded by mangrove trees. The water is warm (38–40°C) and best enjoyed in the evening for stunning sunset views. The entrance fee is 300 pesos per person. Facilities include changing rooms, a grocery shop, and lockers. It’s about a 30-minute tricycle ride from Coron Town, making it a peaceful and relaxing spot to visit.
Dewan A — Google review
We came here around 6 PM. My friend told me the road was rough and muddy, and we were using her motorcycle, so we expected we might slip since it had been raining. But we still made it, and it was totally worth it—the place is beautiful! It’s different from the hot springs we have in Laguna. This hot spring in Coron is definitely something I’d come back to. Hopefully, by the time I return, the road will be fixed because that’s really the main problem
Olivia B — Google review
The hotsprings are located in a pretty spot but way too many people are there - when you see tour buses, run! Maybe early morning or evening would be better but I am not sure of the hours...

Cabo Beach is located about 8 kilometers from the Town Proper of Coron and offers a serene setting for those looking to relax on the sand or take a refreshing swim. The beach features small huts where visitors can unwind, and while the water may not be crystal clear and the sand not as fine as some might hope for, it still provides beautiful views of Coron Island.
Rented a scooter and headed here from Coron early morning...worth the trip we had coffee in one of the gazebos by the water - fun ride there and the water was magical. Go early am for a swim or late for the sunset!
JK — Google review
Cabo Beach in Coron, Palawan is a quiet and peaceful spot about 8 km from Coron Town. It's good for relaxing, picnicking, and swimming without needing a boat trip. The beach is simple, not crowded, with small huts for shade and basic facilities. The sand is not very white, and the water can be a bit murky, but it's a convenient choice for a calm afternoon near town. Entry Fee: 50 Pesos per person.
Dewan A — Google review
Very small beach, sand sucks, once you are in the water it’s rocks mixed with sand, not pleasant to walk, very shallow to swim. Almost no people, entrance - 50 peso 😐 Wouldn’t go again.
Maximillion — Google review
Nice beach. Lots of locals hanging out, playing music, and swimming. The road is rough to get there but the view from the beach is worth it!
Pia R — Google review
It needs 50 to enter that place which turns to be the dumbest decision I’ve made ever since the beach is full of trash, plastic bottles and garbage. And the road to that place is very bad, it’s very easy to fall from the moto after raining because the road is slippery.
Cc W — Google review
50 pesos to get in. There is a karaoke bar and individual beach huts for picnicking or just hanging out. The bay is sheltered and the sea floor is stony and covered in sea grass so the water is not really blue but it is clean and clear. A great place to come with kids
Siobhan B — Google review
I would not recommend to go hear. Maybe just for 15 minutes to enjoy the beautiful view on coron. However, small dirty beach, very crowded and everybody is playing their own loud music - really annoying! In addition the water is quite dirty. Just go for island hopping to enjoy clear water.
Kevin B — Google review
With low tide it's dirty, no soft sand and rough bottom. This place is more suited for sunset parties rather than chilling at the beach

Siete Pecados Marine Park is a renowned snorkeling destination near Coron town proper, featuring seven small islets with a rich marine life and biodiversity. The name 'Siete Pecados' translates to 'Seven Sins,' originating from the legend of seven sisters who drowned here, forming the present-day islets. Despite its eerie backstory, the park offers fascinating beauty and vibrant marine life.
This place is out of this world! I wouldn’t recommend it more. Feels like you’re inside of one ocean documentary!! We saw three turtles and soooo many starfish. The corals are beautiful and rich. Joel was our captain for the tour and he guided us inside of the water the whole time. He showed us the most beautiful places in Siete Pecados! Look for him during your day tour :) he’s awesome.
Marrie J — Google review
It is composed of 7 islands. Part of tour A , ultimate tour. This is a snorkeling site, great corals, there are also sea turtles here, and well maintained. No docking area where you can go down. Boat is just floating in the middle. Entrance fee is Php 150.
Audrey N — Google review
The best place to snorkel, 1000 peso for a boat rental and you get a helper who can help you find great places to snorkel. We got Vincent and he was amazing guide on where to find the best corals. Starfish, urchins, beautiful corals, name it and you have it here.
Auld S — Google review
Siete Pecados was one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I plunged into its crystal-clear waters, I was surrounded by vibrant coral gardens and schools of fish weaving effortlessly through the currents. It felt like stepping into a hidden, living masterpiece—where the ocean itself tells stories through its beauty. The tranquility and sheer wonder of the place made me lose track of time, just floating, marveling at the underwater world beneath me. If you ever get the chance, dive in—you won’t regret it!
Manuel S — Google review
There's a beautiful reef so it's a great place for diving or snorkeling. No crowds, it's not touristy at all. I booked the tour on the same day and no waiting time.
Katarzyna S — Google review
Great snorkeling. Got to see many fish and even a turtle. Our boat captain and his son swam with us to make sure we were safe. We’re on the older side :).
James B — Google review
It was so beautiful here. We took the kayak by ourselves which was 250PHP per Person for 4 hours. We were mostly alone there and explored the small cave and did snorkeling. The coral reef was really beautiful and we also saw a turtle.

Spent 2 hours snorkelling here with friends on a private boat. Great experience with no crowds. Approx 300-400 pesos for snorkelling gear, boat, captain access FYI trikes from town cost 700-1000pesos return though… but driver will wait for you :)

Restaurant
Situated along the Coron-Busuanga Road, Kawayanan Grilling Station is a popular dining spot for tourists on Coron Island. The restaurant offers delicious and affordable dishes in a casual alfresco setting with wooden dining tables and thatched-roof huts. Known for its charcoal-grilled fish, seafood, and meats, it's a must-visit for those seeking authentic Pinoy specialties.
Our tricycle driver recommended this place for their soup. We went here a few times during our Coron visit. Food: good selection of Filipino food like sinigang, bicol express and grilled meats such as bbq pork skewers and liempo. Good pricing. Atmosphere: there are normal seats and elevated seating where you cross your legs beneath the table (in the photo).
Diana E — Google review
Kawayanan Grill was recommended to us by a friendly tricycle driver in Coron, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Meat Lover Group Set for ₱1,299. While the food wasn’t bad, the portion sizes—especially the lumpia—felt quite small for the price. The overall value didn’t quite match our expectations, as the meal felt a bit expensive compared to what we actually got. That said, the ambiance helped make up for it. The place has a relaxing, laid-back vibe—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Since we came on a weekday, it wasn’t crowded, which made the experience more chill and quiet. Overall, it was an okay experience—good atmosphere, decent food, but could be better value for money.
Edward H — Google review
Accommodating staffs!! They did their best to make our birthday surpirse for our friend happen 🤍 Delicious foods, great service, beautiful atmosphere. The staff smiled at us all throughout our stay there.
Rem M — Google review
We ordered the "Kawayanan couple set meal" for 750php as it has soup , appetizer, fish & stuffs and thought it was a complete set but unto our dismay the serving is not what we expected for its price. As seen in the picture we were given just 3 little shrimps, the soup is somehow just like "knorr soup" that we can buy in groceries. I dont know maybe I was just expecting too much as it was really hyped in the internet. Would not reccomend.
Cherry N — Google review
They are serving Coron’s Specialty. Not crowded and the food is good. Just ask the staff for the availability of Tamilol which is seasonal. Try and experience the Coron’s specialties.
Ariel V — Google review
Very pleasant and a good place, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the food is very tasty.
Duarte C — Google review
We loved the place! The atmosphere, the food, fair price and good size for the portions. We ordered pork sisig, kinilaw na isda and tortang talong, and loved them all, specially the sisig. Very recommended!
Olga M — Google review
Your typical filipino grillery house fair, in all honesty. The decor and atmosphere is on par with those in less commercial districts. This one has the edge of being near the tourist areas while being still adequately priced. Food is alright, considering there are numerous sub par places in the vicinity. Nothing to write home about in terms of quality. It did take a fair bit of time, despite us visiting off peak afternoon and they had just 3 other tables. Ambience leaves much to be desired. Its hot in some spots as the electric fans could only handle certain angles. And it seems some sections have more flies and mosquitos than others. Bringing a personal fan is recommended.

Coron Public Market

Market
On the morning of my fourth day in Coron, I found myself at the Coron Public Market due to heavy rain and canceled tours. Located conveniently near the jump-off point for tours, this market offers a variety of goods and food options. It's a bustling scene with fishermen bringing in their catch early in the morning. You can even have your fresh seafood cooked at nearby restaurants for a reasonable price.
There is an incredible variety of food here, from pork, to chicken, to every kind of seafood, to every kind of fruit and vegetable! If you want it, you can probably find it here. It's all fresh and ready to cook. Check out the pictures and videos.
Aaron R — Google review
The place is relatively small but is generally clean. We went here in the afternoon led by our trike driver who also recommended a stall for our pasalubong. The vendors were very kind and even handed us free tastes of their items. They offered lots of variety of cashew nuts and dried seafoods in a reasonable price. They also initiated and informed us that they would properly seal and pack them for us knowing we are tourists so it wouldn't smell in our bags. Very thankful for that!
Einz — Google review
I just went here to check it out, nothing special has a meat and fish section which really smells bad walking though lol . The next section is fruit and veg and they have other sections selling clothing, accessories etc.
Craig L — Google review
The local government should improve the place. Nothing has changed since the last time we were here 8 years ago, considering Coron is a tourist destination. To be honest the area was worse comparing last time. Adding to it, is inflation and prices aren’t the same anymore. The fish and meat are fresh though.
Jared M — Google review
I really love exploring wet markets and this place is no exception. I knew I would find and learn a lot of new fish here and I did! I suggest buying your pasalubong cashews here if you only want the plain ones. It's a bit cheaper than Melb's :) you can also buy dried fish here! They wrap it already in paper and packaging tape and make a cute bag with a handle with it ♡ The reason I rated it low was because the yero ceiling was so freaking low. It offered to insulated whatsoever from the heat. It felt like a sauna. The local government should fix it because the vendors and visitors are prone to heat stroke in that kind of heat.
Isabel B — Google review
A really fun place to visit for some authentic Filipino character in Coron. This market sells the catch from the local fisherman and lots of fresh vegetables (not so much fruits). It is interesting to see all the stalls and the products that people are selling. It is not too crowded with tourists. We did not buy anything as there is a strong smell in the whole market and the hygiene is not very good. Still, a nice place to visit!
Sam H — Google review
Still poor market witha lot of things of course but hope one days they can use clean table clean floor and fix the road plus fridge. Small price good for the locals
Sebastien M — Google review
The market is one you’d expect from a far flung island destination. You see fishermen bringing their catch at about 7 AM and they come and go. We’d wait for a good catch, and ask for the restaurant that can cook for you. At about 200 pesos a dish, they’ll cook it simple and nice. Just make sure you buy the veggies and condiments from the stall close by. I’ll post some photos of Tita who said yes to have our fish, shrimp, crab cooked for us. Just show a photo of sauteed or fried in case of communication probs….. we had to buy fresh fish and tons of veggies because we’re traveling with the old folks . They need low sodium fish diet….oh, and that stall we found is the oldest food vendor there. It’s not a glamorous stall but you buy all the ingredients (even oil) from a stall next to it and you know you’re getting the good stuff. He can also roast baby eggplants and fish. We are happy we found a great deal here and my parents are happy. No stomach issues. We are simply pleased…..

Great climb, takes only 10 minutes at an average speed. Beautiful view and scenery plus some cats once you make it all the way up. There no stores or bathrooms so bring water with you 😁
Maximillion — Google review
Beautiful view of the island from the top. There are 720 steps so get ready to sweat a little. Bring some water if you don’t want to buy it from the vendors on the way to the top that overcharge you, of course. We went for the sunset and it was amazing.
Elisabeth S — Google review
Went hiking at around 5:30 AM. We opted to take the sunrise rather than the usual sunset in Tapyas.Though both period are equally beautiful. Its about 700 steps to the top but there are resting areas.Locals normally jog to and from the mountain without a fuss.If you are not into so much physical activity and planning to hike it, please take precautionary measures. It does not have a mini store at the top so better bring your own water jug and of course your camera.
Bern H — Google review
100% worth the effort. The path to the view deck is made of concrete steps so no specific attire is required. Trail continues after the view deck, it's recommended to have sneakers or hiking shoes then.

Nice place to get fantastic view of Coron. Clean wide staircase with plenty benches to rest and catch a breath if you are not feeling your fittest that day. Nice workout up the stairs. It's better to come up in the morning though.
Natalia K — Google review
Mt. Tapyas is a great place to include on your itinerary when you go to Coron. It is just within the town itself so it is really accessible. Also, it is included on most travel packages for most travel and tours so don't worry. It took us 15 minutes to reach the top including all the stops we had, you all know... getting old guys. There are many kids selling products that are really usable if you go island hopping. The view of the sunset is just amazing. I have seen El Nido's sunset but this one is also great. With all the city's view topped up with clean skies and shining waters, you will also find this small hike a very interesting one. On our way down, we have seen that the cross was lit up. It was beautiful. There are also souvenir shops near the area so don't forget to drop by, too.
JC C — Google review
RVRA TIP: grab an ice candy from the boy waiting on top. It will help cool you down and give you the needed energy to complete your little hike. The views on top were fantastic. We went down all the way to the other side of the mountain because it was closer to our hotel. The hike was great except for the last portion where we had difficulties looking for the path so we went off road. But overall it was a fun experience.

Ramen Sakura in Coron, Palawan offers a taste of authentic Japanese ramen with its Tonkotsu soup, made from a blend of chicken bones, pork bones, onions, spices, and other ingredients boiled for over 24 hours. The original noodles add to the unique flavor. The restaurant imports ingredients from Japan to ensure an original taste experience for guests. While the interior could be more authentic to attract more customers, the food is highly praised and satisfying for ramen cravings while on vacation.
Delicious ramen! They have tabletop cat chopstick holders, which I found absolutely adorable. The owner was kind enough to tell me where to find them so I can get them for myself! The server was really friendly and accommodating, and he took the time to explain everything to us. Thank you!

Went to Coron last August. The price is too much for the quality of food that you get. I don’t know if we were just the unlucky group that day because the reviews are great on this ramen place but we were a bit disappointed after eating. It felt like we could’ve made a better bowl of ramen and rice bowl at our airbnb during our stay. They have great staff though!

I never thought I would stumble upon such an amazing ramen house on this island. The food was absolutely excellent—perfectly seasoned broth, tender noodles, and everything cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout our visit. This really reminds me of days in Japan, the food is very delicious, a portion of cold tea is served and typical Japanese drinks are on the menu. This is a good place to talk about trips to Japan or maybe think of going. You may forget for a moment that you're among beach themed bars on an island. It's also one of the good options when you dine a bit later as many restaurants closer at 22:00 Cards are accepted 👍🏻

I went to Ramen Sakura Japan, and this is the best service in this place so far, I was very pleasantly surprised. The owner is Japanese, a cool guy, said that he is a diver, so he opened a business here. I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and a portion of sake (Japanese wine made from rice, but the preparation process is more like beer). In addition, they brought: 1. A pitcher of water 2. A pitcher of the drink Mugitsha (boiled wheat), a Japanese drink, tastes like Americano. It is often made from ginger. 3. An appetizer for sake - ginger strips, the Japanese call it "food for energy" 4. Gyoza - 1 piece, these are Japanese dumplings made of thin dough with pork and cabbage, garlic, ginger and green onions inside 5. Chili sauce to add spice to the ramen. 6. Standard spices The cat in the photo is a chopstick stand. The owner's name is Ben Saito, he is very good person

Buzz Express is a small eatery located in Coron town, known for serving some of the best burgers on the island. While prices may be higher than local standards, they take pride in using high-quality ingredients. The menu mainly consists of Western dishes, and the staff is accommodating and friendly. They offer smoothies, wraps, cakes, and homemade tacos with unique twists like papaya salsa. The portions are good for sharing and the dining area has air conditioning.
We loved the outdoor set up as we were the only ones in the veranda of the 2nd floor. We ordered pizza, shrimp aglio pasta and salad. The food were sumptous and the serving were big. The crust of the pizza were lavash bread. The staff were friendly and the helpful coz we had so many requests that she had to go up and down for us. Love th place!

A bit pricey, but it is worth the value. The best meal so far we had in the town of Coron Palawan. We had a supper yummy pizza filled much with seafoods on it. And their fish and chips. Quantity and Quality Wise. A must try restaurant to dine when you are visiting Coron Palawan.

When he heard dietary problems the chef immediately appeared and altered dishes to work. Very impressive and so was the staffs attention. Food was good, although labelled as spicy was inaccurate but nothing that fresh chilli couldn't fix. Interesting fish menu, but didn't try as had for lunch. The only issue was the vibe killer of multiple diners playing phone video games at max volume. Staff didn't seem to care. We left inside and sat outside with our drinks.

After a trip, we went here for dinner. Most of the items in their menu is western. The staff seems accommodating and friendly. They even offered to take our photo. We like the meat icon in the menu to make our choice easier. They don’t accept credit card but they accept cash and GCash. Serving size of food and prep time are decent. The dining area has AC inside. We didn’t notice if you can eat outside but there are several children who knocked on our window begging. We ordered classic Cuban sandwich and chicken teriyaki wrap. The wrap was dry so I asked for more sauce which they obliged. The French fries is not included in the mea but you can add P50 for them to include it. I think they should be part of the meal already to make the price of the meal worth it.

I come here for lunch. There are many people in here. We choose chicken steak sandwich and fish & chips. Sandwich is good, it's very juicy. But fish & chips is just not bad. Their some chips are soft, some is too hard. I don't know why? The fish they don't use catfish. Because almost all will use catfish. So, when you eat their fried fish, you will feel that it's not real fried fish. 😂 Anyway, the food are good, but price is too high in coron.

This is my most favorite place in Coron. I never failed to visit this place during my two trips to Coron this year. Their cafe is very comparable to the cafes in the big city, sometimes I think they can even do it better. The food can come a bit pricey but don't let it fool you. Their servings are all good for sharing! The food is delicious too. The staff are really, really nice. It's because of them that made me appreciate this restaurant even more. Shoutout to Samantha and to the other barista who kind of looks like Samantha! Will always come back to this place.

This place had some really good food but a bit pricey which is the reason for 4 stars vs 5. With that being said I would say the fruit smoothies are delicious (Masarap)! We ordered a garden pizza, Southern Burger, sweet potato fries were also super yummy. We tried every smoothie across several visits during our week vacation here and they were all delicious but I can say the one with bananas and mango I think honey as well this was our top pick. Grilled chicken was good, we also went prior to 11am when they only had breakfast. The omelette was okay and the sandwich wasn't as exciting as the other food so if you're looking for the lunch and dinner items go after 11am.

Restaurant
El Kuvo, located in Coron, draws inspiration from the traditional Filipino hut and offers a blend of rustic and modern ambiance. The restaurant features a diverse menu including pizzas, pastas, soups, salads, burgers, and kebabs. One of their popular dishes is the fusion chicken inasal kebab. Visitors praise the warm and inviting atmosphere as well as the selection of Asian and Western cuisine. Despite occasional busy periods leading to longer wait times for food, guests appreciate the attentive service.
Absolutely love this place the staff are super friendly. They play amazing music and the food is fantastic! The ceviche was definitely my favourite but the seafood pasta and catch of the day was also super tasty! Everything was cooked so well I highly recommend anyone going to Coron to visit! Also, it is decorated so well and is well ventilated! There’s also another area which is air-conditioned

We loved the vibes of this restaurant, it was homey and very relaxed. The staff were friendly and amazing, plus they are very attentive. Food was great and just perfect to our palate. Vegetarian options was a big PLUS! And was so happy that they serve cocktails as early as 11am. Not to mention and owners(father & son) were very friendly.

First of all, every single food we ordered was great! The inasal is not the typical inasal style chicken you would taste in other restaurants, the food was presented very appealing, the sisig was great, not the manila kind of style of sisig, does not include mayonnaise nor egg. The mango sticky rice, it was glorious. The guilt of having a dessert after meal? Don't let it bother you, they used black rice as a substitute for the glutinous rice, which i think is a smart move. Taste wise, i think it does not differ really much, just the texture of the rice. The way it was presented was also really appetizing. Over all, this restaurant is really one of the best here in Coron.

Been here 4 times during our stay in coron. Loved it every time! Such yummy Filipino food and awesome opportunity to try foods we haven’t before. The tuna ceviche was a fave and the mango sago smoothie was the best! Came once just for the smoothie. Would recommend!

We dined here twice during our stay, and both meals were excellent. On our first visit, we tried the Atsuete Shrimp and the Chicken Inasal Kebab. The shrimps were impressively fresh and perfectly cooked in a flavourful, spicy atsuete sauce. The chicken inasal was tender, well-marinated, and carried a wonderful hint of lemongrass. We enjoyed it so much that we returned later in the week to try the Filipino-style satay and honey chicken, which were equally delicious and packed with authentic flavour. The dishes here are excellent, the portions generous, and the prices very reasonable. A must-visit spot in Coron for anyone who appreciates great food at fair value.

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's Coron is the only one on the island and offers a lovely menu compared to other locations. Visitors have enjoyed fast delivery with warm, reasonably priced food. The crew is friendly and the restaurant is consistently clean. While some may have had negative experiences, many find it difficult to fault this location.
We had the 2 piece chicken with rice and fries which was very good and the chicken burger which was just okay. The iced coffee was also good and the restaurant was very clean and the service was great. We love McDo!

First time trying spaghetti at McDonald's! It tasted not too bad, but the sauce was a little sweet. Fries tasted less salty and oily as compared to my home country. Fried chicken was good and very tasty!
Rachel Y — Google review
I had a solid experience at McDonald's in Coron! We got the cheesy burger McDo, which was delicious and hit the spot. I paired it with a vanilla iced coffee, and it had a lot of vanilla syrup. We also tried the vanilla ice cream cone, but it was more on the icy side compared to the creamier ones back home in the West. They also had good AC and seating, which made it a comfy place to relax. Overall, a great quick stop for some familiar comfort food!
Calvin G — Google review
The ONLY location in Coron… so it was extremely busy. But got our food pretty quickly. This location was absolutely terrible. Less than an hour after eating here my whole family got sick in the stomach… insane runs and just wasn’t feeling well the rest of the evening. Stay away from there fried chicken. Most breading and wasn’t very good. Play-place isn’t the cleanest. Stick to Angoks down the street for your fried chicken fix! Definitely not returning!!🤬
Danny T — Google review
Like most of the McDonald's outlets. Food is the same, but the service and the cleaning is much better than the one in cebu that I went. Auto ordering station is working and accept electronic money. Ser ice staff is very helpful and there is always a man cleaning the place. Highly recommended!

I'm really grateful to Rose (evening shift) who helped me to have a really nice experience because of my request in the order. I know how hard is to work in hospitality, and she does great, she was really patient and helpful. I hope the managers know how lucky they are to have someone in the team like her.

Much better than the one in El Nido and also much better than the jollibee down the street. All the food was good. No free gravy but it’s only P10 for extra and they give you 2 pots!

Bodies of Water
Twin Lagoon is a must-visit destination in Coron, Philippines. It's part of island hopping tours and offers a unique experience. Visitors can enter the lagoons through a small cave or climb a ladder over the top. The lagoons feature a mix of salt and fresh water that creates an intriguing natural oil slick effect underwater.
Love this one, we were the only ones there for a bit so it felt like a lagoon paradise. The second bit is harder to get to, you either go through a tunnel at low tide (wasn’t there when we went), or go up and down a steep set of very dodgy ladders/steps. There is not much room so you have to go one by one. Once the crowds came it was really hard to leave as people kept on coming down into the second lagoon. There are jet streams of warm water in the lagoon as well which was cool. Saw lots of people kayaking but to be honest it’s better being in the water.

I'm pretty sure there is a vortex around here. My drone got pulled towards the rocks and lost camera footage. luckily I pulled it off by return to home button. Nice and mysterious place thou.

A relaxing lagoon that we visited duting our tour. It has a picturesque view that visitors will definitely enjoy and relax. While visiting this place, a boat will be provided which can carry up to two people. The natural view is amazing which is not common in other places. The waters are calm and the weather is not too hot because of the large rocks surrounding the lagoon. Tour guides are also helpful when visiting the place as they can take photos or even help with moving the boat to the other lagoon.

Part of island hopping tours of Coron Islands (inside calamian group of islands). The island is Part of tour B and ultimate tour. Best if you have kayak here, kayaking and swimming area as well. Good for family. It has a great view! You should visit this if youre going to coron since this is one of highlights of the tour. Entrance fee is Php 200. Well maintained. You can snorkel and swim here. Water is warm and cold. Brackish water

Twin Lagoon in Coron, Palawan, is a stunning attraction with two beautiful lagoons connected by limestone cliffs. Visitors can swim or kayak between the lagoons, enjoying the clear, calm waters and scenic views. A small grocery store nearby offers drinks and light snacks. It's a recommended spot for those looking to explore and relax in nature.

Am amazing place for it's after beauty. What a lot of people don't realize, sadly, is the vast amount of dead coral that seems to have been blasted by dynamite fishing😢. Nonetheless, there still decent coral cover despite the destruction. Drone pics look awesome!

Enjoy and forget everything else, take a kayak, go for a swim and do some snorkeling. The environment is absolutely stunning.
LP L — Google review
This is one of the most visited places in Coron by boat tour. You have the option to rent a kayak and paddle from one lagoon trough a small opening in the rocks to the second lagoon. With the kayak you can see more of the lagoons and even the Green Lagoon (or hidden lagoon) on the other side, otherwise swimming all these distances would be a bit too long and hard with all the shallow coral reefs. The Twin Lagoon is very beautiful with its contrast of blue water against these very high rocks. Definitely a place worth a visit!

Bodies of Water
Kayangan Lake, located in Coron, Palawan, is a picturesque mountain lake renowned for its clear waters and stunning beauty. Surrounded by impressive limestone cliffs, this crystal-clear freshwater lake has gained internet fame due to its iconic appearance in travel photos. Despite being a popular tourist spot visited as part of tours, it remains a must-see destination. Although it may not offer solitude due to the influx of tour groups, the experience is still remarkable and provides an opportunity to meet new people.
Kayangan Lake offers the famous Coron view, but to get there, you’ll need to hike 360 steps half going up and half going down. The trail can be a bit slippery, and the stones are sharp, though wooden stairs have been installed to make the ascent easier. The view at the top is absolutely worth the effort. Along the way, the tour guide will pay a local fee for tourists, and as visitors, it's important to respect and follow the area's rules. You'll also encounter some dogs along the path while they are used to people, they can be a little intimidating, so be cautious, and hopefully, the owner will be nearby. Locals also sell drinks and snacks, so it’s a good idea to bring money in case you'd like to purchase something. Kayangan Lake's water is 70% fresh and 30% seawater, so be mindful while swimming. Always stay close to your tour guide for safety, as the area is considered sacred by some locals who believe in spirits, or "engkanto," that protect the place. Avoid venturing too deep, especially since it's not entirely seawater, and you may not be able to ascend as quickly, similar to Barracuda Lake.

Very nice lake. Cool boardwalk leading up to the beach and the bottom of the staircase. There’s a map that shows you the rest of the island (I love a good map), and key points of note like where to see giant octopus. Stairs up and down (~350 altogether). It’s not that bad. Stairs leading down to the lake are a bit more carved out than the ones leading up to the nice lookout. Go early and you won’t be swimming with many people. We were there at 7:45am and barely saw anyone.

This is is a very nice place to visit while on Coron Island. It is part of a tour you can do while staying in Coron. You get to see amazing views and also a cave after you climb appropriately 100 steps. I would recommend visiting this as part of your stay.

If you're looking for one of the clearest lakes in the world, Kayangan Lake in Coron is a must-see. Surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and crystal-blue water, it feels like stepping into a postcard. You can swim, snorkel, or just float and take it all in—pure paradise! 🏝️✨

Kayangan Lake, Coron: Where Nature's Masterpiece Meets My Heart's Canvas Kayangan Lake in Coron isn't just a destination; it's an experience etched into the very core of my travel memories. Often lauded as the "cleanest lake in the Philippines" and a poster child for Palawan's unparalleled beauty, it lives up to every bit of its reputation and then some. For me, it's a place where the grandeur of nature truly humbled and captivated, leaving an indelible mark. I can still vividly recall the boat ride through the towering limestone karsts, their jagged forms rising majestically from the turquoise sea, hinting at the wonders to come. The anticipation built with every gentle sway of the boat. Then came the short, somewhat challenging climb up the wooden steps, a small effort that was rewarded tenfold. Reaching the viewpoint at the top, the iconic panorama of Kayangan Lake unfurled before my eyes. It was even more breathtaking than any photograph could capture. The deep emerald green of the lake, nestled amongst the dramatic cliffs, felt like a secret gem revealed, perfectly reflecting the sky like a giant, pristine mirror. But the true magic began when I descended into the lake itself. The water, a mix of 70% freshwater and 30% saltwater, was incredibly clear – so clear that you could see the intricate underwater rock formations, almost like a lunar landscape beneath the surface. Donning a life vest (a mandatory and sensible precaution), I plunged in. The initial coolness of the water was invigorating, and then the pure joy of simply floating, surrounded by such surreal beauty, washed over me. I remember swimming slowly, observing the shafts of sunlight piercing the water, illuminating the otherworldly formations below. It was a moment of profound tranquility, a feeling of being utterly at peace with the world. More than just the visual spectacle, Kayangan Lake holds memories of simple, yet profound, experiences. The laughter shared with travel companions as we navigated the wooden walkways, the quiet moments spent just observing the small fish darting about, and the sheer awe of being in such a perfectly preserved natural wonder. It's also a place where you truly appreciate the efforts of the Tagbanua indigenous people, the guardians of this sacred place, who have meticulously maintained its pristine condition. Their respect for nature is palpable, and it adds another layer of appreciation to the experience. Yes, Kayangan Lake can get crowded, especially during peak season. But even amidst the throngs of visitors, there are always pockets of calm, moments to find your own slice of serenity. It's a place that demands you put down your phone (after getting those obligatory, stunning photos, of course!) and simply be present. Kayangan Lake is more than just a beautiful swimming spot; it's a testament to the raw, untamed beauty of Palawan. It's a memory I revisit often, a reminder of a time when I felt truly connected to the natural world, and a place that continues to inspire wanderlust and a deep appreciation for our planet's hidden wonders. It will forever be one of the brightest jewels in my collection of travel memories.

Island
Coron Island is a rugged and captivating destination known for its popular dive sites, including WWII shipwrecks, caves, and reefs. The island features pristine lakes such as Barracuda and Kayangan, offering clear mixed fresh and saltwater environments with visible thermoclines and abundant aquatic life. Surrounded by tiny white sand beaches, limestone cliffs, and extensive reefs for snorkeling, the island is managed sustainably by an indigenous tribe to prevent pollution.
Coron is must see in the Philippines please have your trip managed by some who know the area. We stayed at the Zuri Resort, I recommend this place.

Lagoons, lakes, coral reef, water so clear it is unbelievable. Snorkeling the Reef was amazing. Beautiful fish and coral. Tropical escape on a private tour. Includes Barracuda lake, hot lunch and soft drink or water. Tour guide, boat pilot, deck hand, 5-6 destinations. You're gonna love it! P.S. The coral shown in these pics of this particular review is NOT the coral you will see if you snorkel the reef. The Reef is much nicer! Have fun!
Ed S — Google review
One of the most beautiful islands we visited and is rich of natural resources and clear waters. We loved the place as the islands, coral reefs and lakes were protected and well maintained even with the number of tourists visiting the place. The trip going to the airport could take a few hours which is a hassle and we even noticed how restaurants/cafes are expensive because of how high their service charge is. This is the best place to do island hopping, snorkeling or even diving which is best for adventurous people. The people are kind and tour guides were full of energy making our experience more fun. The place might be difficult for the elderly, persons woth disability and children because of how tiring the activities can be. Staying on the town proper can also be a bit boring as there is not much to see. That is why it is best for island tours.

Coron Island in the Philippines is a breathtaking paradise that left me in awe. As a tourist, I was amazed by its crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, and hidden lagoons. Kayangan Lake, with its unbelievably clear water, was a highlight of my trip. Snorkeling and diving around vibrant coral reefs and World War II shipwrecks was an unforgettable experience. This was our last stop in our Super Ultimate Coron tour. It’s plainly a beach, with some mangrove trees on one side, and plenty of other tourists basking under the sun or swimming in the shallow shores. It may not be as striking as other spots in Coron (especially the lagoon), but still brings happiness to those who visit it.☺️

Banul Beach is a small, secluded white sandy island beach in Coron that's popular with boat trippers and snorkelers. The beach offers a long stretch of pristine sand and crystal-clear waters, making it perfect for relaxation and water activities. The beach is beautiful with crystal-clear water, making it a stunning spot to visit. However, there are quite a lot boats around, which can be a bit disruptive. It's more suited for a short lunch or quick visit than for a relaxing day of chilling on the beach. Still, the scenery is gorgeous and worth experiencing!

We visited this beach during one of the boat tours from Coron (Nice in Paradise), but there are many other operators who visit this place. It is generally used as a place to eat lunch under the shaded tables. You have great views over the white sandy beach and the rock as a back wall. There are Some small shops at the beach and there is also a primitive toilet available at the right side up the stairs. A very nice place for a short visit!

Nice beach for a stopover. I came there twice One for just a beach stop before sunset with a private boat and it was nice. Not crowded low tide and the water is clear. Visit again during high tide for lunch in coron ultimate tour and it was surrounded by a trillion flies and mosquitoes. I got bitten all over the place

Two Seasons Coron Island Resort

4.5

Resort hotel
Two Seasons Coron Island Resort is a luxurious retreat located on Bulalacao Island, just a short boat ride away from Coron Town. The resort offers relaxed bungalows with beachfront locations, king-size beds, and flat-screen TVs. Guests can upgrade to Sandbar Bungalows for added amenities like plunge pools and private verandas with unobstructed island views. The resort also features a restaurant, spa, and beach bar for guests to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.
It was my first time vacationing in Coron, and I stayed at Two Seasons Resort for 4 days . The service was really good, the room was clean and comfortable, the whole place was well taken care of. You can snorkel right off the beach and already see some small marine life — pretty amazing! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, a great place to unwind. I had a lovely time and made some great memories. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey.

A 46 keys eco-friendly luxury boutique resort that you just can't get enough of! Timely airport pickup, comfortable drive to private pier, private boat transfer to a secluded island, royal welcome..... Wait; this is just the beginning:) The staff welcomed us on the resort island pier and quickly cleared our luggage too. Warmly welcomed in the lobby again with a shells garland, chill welcome drink and in a jiffy orientation and check-in done. Escorted to our Mountain Bungalow on a buggy, we entered for abode for the next 5 days. Pure bliss...... Large bungalow, wooden flooring, wooden outer deck, king size bed with excellent mattress and linen that ensured great sleep every time. Amenities are good and plastic free to ensure everything that the resort does is eco-friendly, L'Occitane en Provence toiletries in refillable fixed caniters too. RO water is provided and topped up free with just a call. One kitchen on the property to fulfill the 3 dining areas - Main Restaurant, Bar and your room :) Large menu with everything freshly prepared with lots of local Filipino dishes that we absolutely loved. The beach is stunningly beautiful to swim, walk around, just adore and you shouldn't miss snorkeling in their house reef! Amazing water clarity with lots of lively coral and plentiful aquatic life. The pool is of fresh water and the best part that it's divided into segments of 2 ft, 4 ft, 5 ft and 6 ft as well as a swim up bar with jacuzzi. You can lap here, play with kids or drink you favorite mix in the pool! Also in the resort is a chapel built in 1970 and recently refurbished which is affiliated to the main church in Coron Town, so peaceful indeed. Service throughout the property is absolutely fantastic, so cordial, so accommodating, so cheerful, FABULOUS! To the team at Two Seasons Coron Island & Resort, a big thanks for making our stay truly memorable and keep up the good work!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Two Seasons Coron Island Resort! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I stayed at Two Seasons Coron Island Resort from October 11th to 17th to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and it was truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever visited. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by pristine turquoise waters, lush nature, and total tranquility. The resort is incredibly clean, quiet, and perfect for both couples and families looking for a peaceful escape. We stayed in a villa with a plunge pool, which made our stay feel even more private and romantic. The food was absolutely amazing — every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The snorkeling was incredible, and the private tours offered were among the best experiences we’ve had anywhere. Coron itself is breathtaking, and being able to explore it in such comfort made the trip unforgettable. What truly made our stay special, though, was the amazing staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A heartfelt thank you to Anthony, Real, Joey, Carl, Dexton, Petter, Melvin, Rico, Jabes, and Evan — your warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made our experience extraordinary. A special shoutout to Noni from the tours, who made every excursion so memorable and fun! We were also lucky with the weather — despite visiting in the shoulder season, we had sunshine every single day and not a drop of rain. Two Seasons Coron is a true paradise. Peaceful, beautiful, and run by the most wonderful people. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed in a casita room, which was spacious and well-equipped with amenities. Our only concern was the glass balcony—at night, birds and animals frequently collided with it, creating loud noises that woke us up. We also felt terrible for the birds. Adding visible strips or markers to the glass could help prevent this and make it safer for wildlife. I wasn’t particularly impressed with the breakfast. While I understand the challenges of sourcing fresh ingredients on a remote island, the menu could be better tailored to the location. For example, using canned vegetables like mushrooms and olives in the omelet affected the quality. Additionally, many of the main course options leaned too heavily on the sweet side. It was also disappointing that tuna—listed on several menu items—was unavailable during our entire stay (most if not all ingredients are sourced from Manila) Overall, I believe the kitchen would benefit from reimagining the menu to reflect what’s locally available, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency in sourcing. This could lead to fresher, higher-quality food that better suits the environment and guest expectations.

Their customer service is well-though, deliberate, and intentional. They will leave with almost nothing else to ask. They have all concerns covered. Just one bold example of this is the water dispenser in the villa making sure guests are well hydrated and no need to worry about where to get one of guests’ basic necessities. Staffs are the very definition of proactiveness and each one knows their role so well. They make sure that their scope is well covered. You know those game NPCs full of information and detailed explanations — make them proactive and you get the Two Seasons treatment. We get information that we certainly need without even asking. The resort is well integrated with the nature. We had great encounters with several kinds of animals during our stay. Plants and trees everywhere— even the fruit bearing ones. Two Seasons proactiveness comes into play again by providing mosquito repellent sachets preparing us for nature’s flying critters. This integration comes not without its downside. There are cellular dead spots and even the provided TV’s antenna channels’ signal is intermittent. To compensate to this, WIFI signal is very reliable. All these concerns are covered by a sincere letter coming from the management. Food is available in room and in their in-house restaurant SULU serving a good variety of mainly local with some entries from international. Serving size is also very generous. Overall, our stay is definitely our live’s intentional slowing down. Just relaxing, taking our time, and one with nature. Parents had fun. Kids had fun. It’s a win.

The place is very well kept and modern relative to a nearby "club", 51 kms away 😅. The staff are really very nice, amenities are superb and the food! You come here for the food. Your orders come, relatively, faster too. For those who like to drink, walang happy hour, 2 kinds of local beer, most of the drinks are pricey. 😅🍻 Friendly advise, if you want your alcohol inventory to move... Happy hour is the key. The "club" offers 50% off on all cocktails during that time, just saying. Trying snorkeling was initially sad, there was nothing to see until the local guide showed a spot near the buoy markers. There is a fairly decent sized coral garden full of clams and fish. Another choice would be booking for an island hop, which is also pretty steep.😆 The beach is really good too if you can't swim that far. The pool is pleasant. Gets pretty dark at night. The pool lights are red and not the brightest, some need fixing too. A pool area update would be awesome. Connectivity is excellent, more so for remote work applications. Globe ako, walang signal! 😣Their speed was adequate with no limits to the device you can connect, well, we had 5. Okay naman.

I recently stayed at Two Seasons Coron for four nights and had a generally wonderful experience. As expected from Filipino hospitality, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating—always ready with a smile and eager to assist. The location is stunning, offering easy access to Coron’s natural beauty, and the rooms are comfortable with well-maintained amenities that make for a relaxing stay. However, the food options could use some improvement. While the quality was decent, the limited variety made the menu feel repetitive over a four-night stay. A bit more diversity and creativity in the culinary offerings would enhance the overall guest experience. On a more somber note, I visited Coron a decade ago, and it was disheartening to witness the dramatic change in its once-vibrant coral reefs. The colorful underwater world that once teemed with life is now largely dulled and degraded. While some damage is undoubtedly due to natural factors, the more significant impact has clearly been caused by human activity and overexploitation of this precious ecosystem. If Coron—and Palawan more broadly—is to continue being a destination of ecological wonder, tighter regulations must be enforced. Tourists should be made to sign agreements to observe but not touch, and local authorities need to ramp up protection measures. We are stewards of this natural beauty, and we owe it to future generations to allow our reefs the time and space to heal. I sincerely hope to return in the future and see signs of regeneration and responsible tourism taking root. The Philippines has been gifted with some of the most extraordinary marine biodiversity in the world—it’s worth the protection.

The stuff is super friendly, they have nice amenities and the hotel is beautiful. However, they Drinks are awful, they did not make one single drink right. The food, omg, the food is sad. The only think it is okay is the friend chicken. The rest is so so restless, it really sad. The breakfast is small, and test less too. As you are in the middle of a island, it is sad because you can not eat anywhere else. And the food is expensive for the bad quality.

A well-known street-side barbecue in Coron offers a variety of grilled-meat skewers, sizzling dishes, pasta, and vegetable kebabs. The place is popular for its live music and BBQ smoke in the evenings. It's centrally located in Coron proper and provides easy accessibility. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and good quality food such as inihaw na liempo and garlic butter shrimp.
This was our first meal in Coron. We were drenched from the hot spring but they still accommodated us. There was a live band when we came, the place was half packed. What we really loved is the price point; affordable but really good quality stuff - inihaw na liempo and garlic butter shrimp supremacy. Servers were nice but just too many servers were taking orders so it might be kinda confusing. It is centrally located in Coron proper. Accessibility was a plus; rode a trike for only P50 going to Sunlight Hotel. There were a lot in queue even though it was getting late already.

The service was great. Got to pick our own fish to eat from the live tank. The fish came out great. The shrimp was good. The vegetables were good. Unfortunately the chicken was way overcooked. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. Those who complain about prices are cheap as we paid 50 dollars (usd) including a tip of 8 dollars. This was for 4 plates of food (and 3 drinks) right next to a high traffic port which is the tourist attraction of this neighborhood. More like a bargain. Just fry your wings a little less 🤣😂

Despite all the reviews about cold food and slow service, we had decent service and our food was definitely hot and tasted great, no stomach issues either. Sisig was good, prawns were good, squid was great, grilled fish was good. We had to grab a different server sometimes to get more beers, but it's a very crowded and busy restaurant so I think it's funny that people have expectations of fine dining. This is the Philippines, not America... There are other places with better food, but Island Boy has an energetic feel, live music, and a mix of people.

They have wide range of dishes that would suit your taste buds. From fresh from tank seafoods to their breakfast meals, shakes, and other dessert. I highly commend their customer service. I would definitely visit this place once I go back to Coron.

Worst food we ate in Coron. Ordered buttered garlic curacha and buttered garlic sea mantes but tasted like garlic water, no hint of butter at all and when I asked if I could have some melted butter they said they couldn't give us any. Ordered 2 big oysters and my 2 kids took a little bite but since it tasted bad they didn't even finish half of one. The next day they got food poison. And we know it was from the oyster since they were the only ones who tasted it. Overpriced, too loud band and bland food. Not worth the money and the trouble.

The food wasn't really anything special, you can get these kind of food in Manila at a better quality and lower prices. The prices of the foods were not worth the price for the taste it gives. Food was extremely bland and definitely something I would not find myself eating when hungry. Service was pretty fine attendant was cheerful and proactive when seating us at a table. Although I give the service a 4/5 rating since some of the waiters were just horsing around and not very attentive on the customers needs. Atmosphere was very "squammy" the customers were not being controlled in the environment and giving other customers an uncomfortable time. Management should have proper house rules at hand to keep the ambience soothing and not something that can be found inside a wet market.

We had a really nice experience at Island Boy Grill. It's not in the town center, but a 10 minuts walk, wich makes it nice. The place is big, with a very filipino atmosphere: wooden benches, bamboo celling and acacia tables. When we went, there was live music, not very loudy (at the end tables at least). Food was good. We went for easy dishes, like filipino spagetii and seafood pancit, but I would recomend going for the fish (red or white lapu lapu) and seafood (crab, mantis lobster, regular lobster), as it is so fresh. We are going to repeat for sure.

Lovely seafood place right on the port. Live and large variety of fresh fish in tanks. Opted for the chilli lobster which was fantastic. Not really cheap however was worth the treat!
