Uluwatu Temple, also known as Pura Luhur, is a historic Hindu temple situated on a cliff with breathtaking ocean views. The temple hosts traditional dance performances, including the famous kecak dance at sunset. It is also home to a colony of monkeys that roam the area. Nearby, there's Alila Villas, an impressive hotel perched on a clifftop with stunning suites and villas featuring a cliffside infinity pool overlooking the ocean.
🐒 Monkeys love prescription eyewear because they have a secret library!😉 I very much enjoyed the show in the amphitheatre overlooking thenocean at sunset. Do try to arrive by 5:15-5:30 for the 6 o'clock show. Attendants will encourage people to sit closer several times so that as many people as possible can sit. Once the show begins: - Read the information sheet to know what is going on and appreciate an ancient story being told in a majestic context by a group of highly skilled performers. Accept that it is unfamiliar and enjoy. - Do not chat loudly, but wisper with your friends. - Do not watch Tik Tok, Instagram, etc with the volume on if you are bored. - Do no stand-up to capture something, as others also want to see. - And, though we admire assertive people who have the gumption to ask a whole row of people to "please move down... we also want to see the show", doing so when the show is already on and complaining "why are they asking me to sush-down?" when you keeps complaining about not having enough room is the definition of "disruptive". You are guests to something unique even though you have paid to attend. - Don't expect the actors to jump into the crowd or to recruit you (hint hint)

5 stars for the AMAZING sunset you can watch from there. This is not to miss. You absolutely must catch the Sunset from here. It's one of the best I have ever seen. Warning ⚠️! Be very very careful of the monkeys there. They are aggressive and will go for your Phones, spectacles and all the lose items. Saw them snatch a poor fellows mobile from his hand while he was clicking pictures. Aside from that it is a wonderful place and you can watch Kecak dance if you want to as well. We skipped it as it was too crowded. You can buy the tickets after reaching there, no meed to book in advance. Cost of entry is 50000 IDR per person. They also give you the purple cloth to drape free of charge. You can follow my journey on a_wayfarers_odyssey on Instagram!

Aggressive monkey alert. You know this is a major problem if the guides have to remind guests not to wear jewelry, be alert at all times, and are patrolling the area to shoo monkeys away. In a span of 30min, we witnessed monkeys stealing hats off visitors heads, water bottles stolen, handphones lifted from open bags and swarming towards people holding plastic bags. Also watch out for monkeys coming up the cliff walls. I would not visit this place because spectacles might get snatched and smashed. The kecak dance queues are incredibly long and guests wait a long time in the heat to get a choice of seats. It felt like a tourist trap, so if you're interested in jist the sunset views, feel free to skip the dance and enjoy the temple views. Unfortunately, it was a very cloudy day when we visited so we couldn't get a good sunset shot. The entire grounds could be covered in less than 30min so plan your trip well for sunset if that's your only goal. It is 50k pax for temple only visit (no dance) and we paid in cash. Temple requires legs to be covered so long sashes are freely available at the entrance for those who are not wearing long pants/shorts. I would suggest visiting their website for a map of the grounds.

Great place to explore dharmic side of Bali. But access to worship area is totally restricted that was a bit disappointing for practicing Hindu like me. Still a good place to visit. And don’t miss Kechak dance there.
Ashok S — Google review
Amazing views from the cliff to admire Indian Ocean. Every evening there’s Kecak dance show you can watch during sunset (6pm and 7pm). Be aware of the monkeys - they like to mess up and steal your goods including sunglasses and phones! I recommend to come before sunset for the best views and stay till it gets dark.
Paweł C — Google review
Very beautiful area, has stunning views, especially at sunset. The scenery is breathtaking, but be careful with the monkeys they can snatch phones, glasses, or hats. It’s also quite crowded, so taking photos isn’t easy esp from the monkeys they’re quite problematic but it’s still a must-visit spot in Bali.
Leen A — Google review
We arrived a little later in the evening so we didn't get to see the whole property but the fire dance story telling was quite impressive. To hear the choir in sync and see the actors helped to gain a little insight into the Indonesian culture. I watched a few little monkeys steal phones and glasses so hold your possessions close!

Beautiful incredible place. Nice place for views and the temple is beautiful. Very hot so take sunscreen, hat and water. Very well kept functional temple. The monkeys here are huge and cheeky. Exercise caution. Nothing to worry about if u just leave them alone!

Kecak Uluwatu is a captivating cultural experience not to be missed in Bali. Held at the scenic waterfront venue of Uluwatu Temple, this traditional Balinese dance performance takes place against the backdrop of the ocean and cliffs. The mesmerizing Kecak fire dance, depicting scenes from the epic Hindu story of Ramayana, unfolds as the sun sets, creating a sensational atmosphere.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A breathtaking experience that touches both heart and soul. We visited Uluwatu Temple on the third night of our Bali trip, and it was an evening I’ll never forget. Perched high on a cliff with sweeping ocean views, the temple radiates serenity and timeless beauty—especially at sunset, when the sky turns gold and the sea glistens far below. We stayed for the Kecak dance performance, and it was truly mesmerizing. Without instruments, the chorus of chanting voices created an atmosphere both primal and sacred. The way the dancers reenacted scenes from the Ramayana by firelight, with the ocean breeze brushing past, made it feel like we were witnessing something ancient and eternal. Everything—the natural beauty, the spiritual energy, and the cultural richness—made this a highlight of our journey through Bali. I highly recommend arriving before sunset to walk the temple grounds, then staying to witness the Kecak performance as darkness falls.

Watching the Kecak Fire Dance at Uluwatu was such a fun experience! The performers interact with the audience, making the show entertaining, and the fire part was just amazing. Overall, the performance was really good. We got there around 5:30 pm for the tour with Get Your Guide, and then waited almost an hour in line between the tour and the dance, since the place gets really crowded — but we still managed to get great seats. The dance ran from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Just be careful with the monkeys during the tour! The guides warn about it, but one of them grabbed a girl’s phone from our group. Luckily, our experienced guide was able to get it back.

It was a nice experience. We booked tickets through trip.com for around 7 eur pp (u still need to pay entrance to temple ticket, 50k pp). We arrived 5:30 pm for the 6pm show and it was fully packed we hardly managed to find good sests. 6pm show is better and scenic with the sunset. It's dark for 7pm show and lots of monkeys in the area. The show itself was ok, i think it was telling a story. Was a bit boring until the monkey-like fella in white clothes came in and interacted with the attendees. Would give it 7/10.

Great place to see the sunset. Arrive early to get a good spot and see the sunset. The Kecak Dance was absolutely mesmerizing the rhythmic chanting, the energy of the performers, the beautiful costumes and the sunset backdrop created pure magic. It’s not just a show, it’s a glimpse into Balinese tradition and spirituality. The coordination of dozens of voices in perfect harmony was impressive.

First traveling to Bali this is number one the my bucket list and definitely yours too. Breathtaking moment along the show with the combination of the sunset view? Come on! What a show. I bought online tickets but still waiting too long maybe there's a lot of people that time I visit. Prefer take the 6pm show so you can enjoy the sunset too. But bring your own hat, jacket or something to cover your face before the show. Cause in case to keep your seat have to wait and don't move. I wait around one hour
David P — Google review
Great show. We Took the one at 6pm. You should be at least half an Hour there before the Show Started to get good Seat. Make sure a lot of people will be there. And make sure to not leave earlier it is really disrespectful against the artist.
Svenja K — Google review
A must-watch cultural performance in Bali! The Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple was absolutely mesmerizing — the energy, rhythm, and sunset view over the cliff made it unforgettable. The performers were so talented, and the atmosphere felt truly magical.

Yhe Kecak dance showcases a beautiful segment of the Ramayana. It was quite crowded, and it took us two hours to get there. I did recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the performance, as finding a place to sit can be challenging. The venue was overcrowded, and the sun was directly overhead, making it a bit uncomfortable at first. However, the sunset added a lovely touch to the experience. Personally, I found the dance just okay, and noticed many people leaving midway. There are a few shops outside the venue, and it’s best to be cautious around the monkeys.

Kecak Dance Amphitheater Uluwatu Temple

The Kecak Dance Amphitheater at Uluwatu Temple is an iconic and enchanting experience in Bali. The performance takes place on a cliff-top amphitheater within the Uluwatu Temple complex, offering breathtaking sunset views over the Indian Ocean. The dance itself features a group of 65+ vocalists acting as instruments to tell a captivating story through traditional Balinese dance.
The dance is not to be missed but be prepared for large crowds and limited seating for the show. Further those wearing glasses need to be careful as the monkeys at the Uluwatu Temple are clever at snatching it from your face. The sunset view is also glorious.
Harindranath R — Google review
The performance was 5*, the beautiful location 5*, the heat in the amphitheatre 0* and the packed like sardines 0* The traffic approaching was quite horrible and took the whole extra hour I'd added into our trip. The steps are very high, the seats have no backs and little leg room and with bad back, by the end I was almost crying in pain. That's a very specific problem so only relayed for readers with similar problems. Get there very early for a front row. But be aware that the front row get included by the performers.... to the delight of everyone! The performance was wonderful. Amazing. And I'm so glad I took the family.
Cathy D — Google review
The show gives a nice insight into Balinese culture with traditional chanting and performance. However, before entering you have to wait in a very long queue — it’s better to arrive at least 30 minutes to 1 hour earlier to get a spot. Once inside, the atmosphere is good, but overall the spectacle felt quite normal.
Yasser R — Google review
book tickets in advance. the place gets crowded. no seat numbers are provided so its first come first serve. be mindful of monkeys. dont wear anything dangling while entering this place. the performance: excellent show of culture. performers pour their heart out. truly remarkable. its allowed to take pictures with the performers after the show and everyone is super nice.
Anup K — Google review
Be aware that the overcrowding is REAL. ⬇️ The performance was impressive and easy to follow by the given papers, BUT the organization could be so much better. There was no real line and people, as many have no manners, push foward for no reason. We stood in line for over 40 minutes with around 1000 people standing shoulder to shoulder. I wouldn't recommend bringing children smaller than 10 years old to this for that reason. We came around 5 PM (to see the 6 PM show) and still had to wait for the 7 PM show. As for the temple: the view is impressive and its all very pretty. There are around 400 apes in the park, please don't wear glasses or hats. We have seen many apes take everyones glasses. DONT challenge them or try to take your stuff back. Please respect the guidelines. There are staff walking around to help you out. We have massive respect for the dancers and singers, the show itself is amazing. Just be aware what you sign up for - waiting around for ages / overcrowding / apes that take your stuff and people who don't respect the ape policy.
Megan P — Google review
Wonderful place on the cliff at Uluwatu. Fire dance show was spot on and funny and you can take pics with the performers after the shows end. Be there one hour before sunset and sit on top for best views of the sea and performance.
Aamir I — Google review
The Kecak dance in Uluwatu temple is nothing but a unique experience, where the ticket for the dance is 150k IDR and is worth it. Try to witness this experience in the 6 to 7 batch where you can see the dance with the stunning sunset backdrop, to get the best seats you have to be there by around 5 and the harsh sunrays would make you uncomfortable. We reached there by 4.30 and after that, the next hour was terrible sitting under the harsh sun where the rays were directly hitting us but I would say the pain was worth it. The Kecak dance had 4 performances and they kept us engaged throughout the act. It was stunning to watch the Ramayana act being played in Indonesia, Hanuman was very famous amongst the audience. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and if you are in Bali then this is a must-do thing.
Aniket A — Google review
Amazing experience. The wait and the queue to the amphitheater was tiring and irritating specially because of the monkey menace but once the show started it was all forgotten. Trust me it is something that you have ever seen/or felt before in life. Once in a lifetime experience. If you're in Bali, do not miss this for anything in life.

Karang Boma Cliff, also known as Uluwatu Cliff, is a popular spot near the Uluwatu Temple in Bali. It offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and is particularly famous for its stunning sunsets. The cliff, about 70 meters high, provides a less crowded alternative to the nearby Uluwatu Temple viewpoint. Visitors can enjoy the magnificent sight of the sun dipping into the waves crashing against the cliffs.
One of perfect place to enjoy sunset 180⁰ view with clear sky.. you will find the grass and local shop to have a seat and relax. You'll find little bit off road around 200m but that's fine. Bring your couple and buy some coconut, you gonna have perfect moment to enjoy sunset
Rezza K — Google review
Absolutely stunning viewpoint with breathtaking views — highly recommended, especially during sunset! Entry fee is very reasonable at only 10,000 per person. If you want to fly a drone, there’s an extra charge of 100,000, but honestly, the views are worth it. I suggest arriving about 30 minutes to an hour before sunset so you can enjoy the landscape in good daylight as well as during golden hour. The area has plenty of benches to relax and a small café where you can buy drinks like coconut water, beer, and more. In my opinion, the view here is much better than from Uluwatu Temple — and way cheaper too. If you’re worried about monkeys, no need — locals here actively chase them away, which makes the visit much more comfortable. Just a heads up: after sunset, Grab drivers might try to ask for extra money or cancel your ride. It took us five tries to finally get a driver willing to come. Walking to the main road takes about 20 minutes through forested paths, which can be a bit risky in the dark. So try to leave before it gets completely dark or be prepared to negotiate. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot and well worth a visit!

A great cliff camping spot. It only costs 50K IDR per person to stay overnight in a tent, but you need to bring your own tent. You can make a bonfire and have a cliff party at night. You need to be aware that there will be a large group of monkeys stealing things the next morning. Our companion's slippers were snatched away by monkeys.
HAO D — Google review
Found this spot from TikTok since it kept showing up on my feed. Came here on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded. The place isn’t that big, but cozy enough for couples to sit and enjoy the sunset. No entrance fee, and you can even bring your own snacks, just don’t forget to clean up after yourself! I tried the iced chocolate from the cart, but it was just so so. Drinks are pretty overpriced for what you get, but that’s kind of how it goes at touristy spots in Bali. Sunset was okay, but I’ve definitely found better places to watch it.
Valerie K — Google review
Nice spot with wide views over the cliffs and the ocean. The area is quiet and not too crowded, which makes it pleasant for a short visit and some photos. Nothing extraordinary, but worth a stop if you are already around Uluwatu.
Alberto R — Google review
Fantastic!! Great view!! Great performance!! So, there are a few high steps to climb - but it is totally worth it! Arrive a little before 6pm so that you can take in the gorgeous views and enjoy the sunset skies. There is a little cafe outside the open air amphitheatre for drinks and chill.
KT — Google review
Abit of an arduous journey towards the tail end but still accessible with both a motorbike or a car. The view was stunning and we even had a meal. Do support the local toko for their beverages (we had a coconut shared cause it was huge) and they have a Kecak dance performance from 6:30pm onwards with a sick view of the cliff. Highly recommended hidden gem!!

Perched on the cliffs of Uluwatu, Ulu Cliffhouse is a luxurious destination that offers more than just stunning ocean views. It features seven uniquely designed suites inspired by legendary surf breaks in Indonesia, blending tropical vibes with mid-century influences from California's surf scene. The restaurant serves a diverse menu including breakfast favorites, local Balinese dishes, Italian-style pizzas and pasta, as well as an array of refreshing drinks.
Very nice place, we went here with 4 friends, took one bed with a sea view. It cost us 1.2M, but you can spend the price of the bed on drinks and food, we left there a little more but I can only recommend it. It was really worth it for the whole day. The drinks were absolutely perfect in taste and quite strong, the food was really delicious. The pool is huge with salt water and a perfect view of the sea. The staff is nice, fast and constantly takes care of you, changes your towels, asks if you are missing anything absolutely great. It's a bit more expensive place, but once in a while it's really worth to go, we enjoyed it very much. Just beware the driveway is broken with many holes.

The food was more than amazing — the most delicious breakfast I had in all of Bali! The view was magical, and we truly enjoyed our time. We stayed in a Garden Suite, which was a bit small, had no windows or natural sunlight, and wasn’t very clean at first. However, once we requested a re-cleaning, the staff responded promptly and did an excellent job. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Mr. Tony — thank you for the great service!
Wafa — Google review
Unpleasant experience unfortunately. The views are magnificent and the staff are very attentive however we were seated by the fire pits overlooking the ocean which had a strong sewerage odor the entire night. I waited 50 minutes for a sushi roll which was recommended by the staff only to experience my first ever food poisoning in Bali.

Great location ! Amazing seasonal special offers ! Nice sunset ! We got a full day bed, a yoga class, a welcome drink, 400.000 IDR of food and beverages plus a 1 hour Balinese style massage for only 900.000 IDR. That’s as good as it gets if you’re willing to pay that price for a full day at Ulu Cliffhouse. Only cons the music being a bit loud.

Ulu Cliffhouse is the perfect place to relax and take in a breathtaking sunset. Stunning ocean views, great music, and a laid-back vibe make it ideal for unwinding with a drink and enjoying the evening.

I can’t recommend this place enough… staff was so friendly and helpful. Drinks were so good and the food made me really happy, I wasn’t expecting to be that good. Definitely recommend the pork ribs. The whole place is fantastic and relaxing, good music and good vibes. Loved it!

We had a blast here but do not buy the VIP couches until you see them. It’s absolutely not worth it. You think you’re buying the gorgeous couches around the upstairs pool area but actually it’s about about five flights down on the dark edges of the dancefloor. The cheapest VIP tables would’ve had us 20 feet from the dance floor in a place with no lights and no action. The most expensive ones were by the dancefloor but not in the action. There wasn’t a huge crowd here, but it was lively and fun and there was bathrooms downstairs so you didn’t have to go all the way back up. You don’t need to get there early, but you need to bring a good attitude. It was good vibes mostly young surfers and backpackers.
Heather A — Google review
We came here for a party last week which we got tickets for. The music was great and there were people with good vibes around. However, we experienced the service quite unpleasantly. No one checked tickets at any point, and it seemed like many people got in without one, so paying extra didn’t feel worth it. Our tickets were supposed to include a free drink, but the barman initially denied this after closely inspecting them. Only after we pointed out the “general admission + free drink” text and pushed back did he make some calls. He told us to go up 4 flights to get a voucher, but when we said we’d rather not, the vouchers suddenly appeared. It was an unnecessary hassle for something that should’ve been straightforward. All in all, good music and vibes but not happy with the service.

Warung Bejana Uluwatu is a popular spot near Uluwatu Temple, recommended by locals and drivers. The outdoor seating offers a cozy and beautiful ambiance with protection from the heat. The menu features delicious Balinese dishes like bebek nering and nasi campur, as well as refreshing drinks such as watermelon mocktail and wake up juice. While some found the food to be slightly expensive, others appreciated the reasonable prices for the quality.
I had lunch here with my wife, and we chose local foods. Taste-wise, they were a bit on the salty and spicy side, but the quality of the meat was good. I had chicken and seafood; the chicken was lean, and the seafood was really fresh. They prepared our food really fast. The table had a nice view of the street, and even though it was peak season, it was pretty quiet. The restaurant is very close to Uluwatu Temple.

Convenient location, alright ambience, average service, terrible food. We had high hopes from this place as it's very conveniently located closest to Uluwatu temple entrance. It has its private parking which is good. We went there for dinner today and ordered Ayum Betutu and Nasi Goreng Sultan Chicken for mains. Ayum Betutu - The chicken wasn't that good as it didn't feel very fresh. Curry and sambhal felt just average as well. Nasi Goreng Sultan - well, it was a badly prepared dish. The chicken in the satay was fibrous and hard as a rock. Definitely not the best Nasi Goreng I have come across. Drinks - we got some beers and a juice (Uluwatu Sunset), which had strawberry, mango, orange juices with yogurt. It was very refreshing and probably the only good item we came across during our visit. Service - No one was coming to take the order for food as we kept on waiting for around 10-15 mins. Finally, I had to get up and call a waiter. And the restaurant was not crowded as well. Price - it's a bit on the higher side. Not recommended.

We arrived and were greeted with very good customer service. The waitresses were polite and attentive, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, everything else was a disappointment. Our cutlery was dirty when we sat down, and the cups had an unpleasant smell. When the meals arrived, they were cold. The traditional Balinese meal we ordered looked like old chicken that had been sitting out for far too long. The rest of the food was below average, especially considering the price. Overall, it was overpriced and underwhelming, and we left feeling very dissatisfied

Located just near Uluwatu Temple, this warung has lots of food choices from Indonesian classics to BBQ. We ordered the Nasi Goreng Sultan, Mie Goreng Ratu, and BBQ spareribs—all flavorful and filling. Prices are fairly reasonable (some dishes a bit pricey), but the taste is worth it. The only downside is the slow service, so expect to wait a bit. Still, the food quality is great, and the place is popular with many foreign tourists. A good stop after visiting the temple.

Stopped by here for a late lunch on our way to Uluwatu Temple. We decided to sit indoors since it was too hot outside, but maybe not the best choice. 😅 the door doesn't close automatically, so every time someone goes in/ out, the heat comes rushing in. Staff were friendly and accommodating, though it was a bit hard to call their attention when we needed something. A call button on each table would be a great idea for easier service. Also, since orders are directly entered into their system and sent straight to the kitchen, changes aren't allowed once placed (we found out when we tried to change our drinks just a few minutes after ordering). Food was really good and servings were huge! Just make sure to have the staff repeat your order before they leave the table to be sure everything's correct.

Compared to similar options, it was decent at best. I came around 10:30am and was the only one in the restaurant, hoping my food and service would be quick… still took 40 mins. (At least they brought out a bowl of cassava chips for me to have) I was a little concerned seeing a really flea bitten stray dog that was allowed to walk into the kitchen in the back freely that must have been friendly with the owners, doesn’t speak volumes to the food hygiene around here. Staff were ok as well but seemed more inconvenienced by me acting like it was a rush but I was the only one there 🤣

The food is amazing but waiters are super busy as its always full due to the location. Most tourists that visit Uluwatu will be having their food from here. Try their Bali menu items can be spicy but amazing.

Tried bebek goreng and it was delicious. Other dishes that we ordered were good too. Portion size also was adequate. Some flies were troubling us but since the dining area was open I think it cannot be avoided.

Teja Uluwatu, named after the Sanskrit word for energy and warmth, offers a unique dining experience with its carefully designed interior and thoughtfully crafted menu. The restaurant is known for its live-fire cooking and high-quality ingredients, creating a dynamic and inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying delicious food and drinks with friends. It's an ideal spot for a romantic evening or casual get-together, featuring charming ambiance and cozy bonfire area overlooking the stunning Bali sunset.
Had an amazing experience at Teja. Would love to go back in the day for our next visit. Service was attentive, swift and friendly (the last a given really). Food came out just after drinks. Food was impeccable — each dish having its own unique flavours to be savoured. Having said that we devoured the lot like hungry piglets. Dessert was chocolate torte and to die for. I don’t you could go wrong with anything on the menu here. Even with a power cut knocking out the street, the team remained proactive, responsive and wholly apologetic. We loved the two seat table at next to service. Watching Chef Mike and team deliver dishes with a laugh and smile was a pleasure. One of my highlights of Bali. And the band were awesome!

Our food came so quickly and everything was delicious. The venue speaks for itself, it has dreamy sunset views and an elegant interior design. But the most beautiful thing about our dinner was our waitress Dina. She was was such a kind soul and fun to talk to. She made sure we had the most amazing night possible :)
Zeynep S — Google review
The restaurant has many strong points: the view is absolutely stunning, the atmosphere unique, the drinks are well-made, and most of the food is very enjoyable. The tableware and glassware are also beautiful and really add to the upscale feel. At the same time, there are a few areas where the experience could be elevated. The current dress code leads to a striking contrast—some guests arrive beautifully dressed, while others look like they just came straight from a beach club. Even a simple rule such as prohibiting open shoes for men would already help create a more consistent standard. Also, cans of soda placed on the table look out of place next to the elegant service and glassware; it would be much nicer if all drinks were poured before serving. Regarding the food, the tuna we ordered was unfortunately disappointing—the quality of the fish was not great, and the flavors were completely overpowered by the sauces. Service-wise, the staff is kind but clearly understaffed, which sometimes meant waiting quite a while to get someone’s attention. All in all, Teja remains a beautiful place to dine, with a breathtaking setting, a strong drinks menu, and food that is generally good. With a little more attention to detail and a few focused improvements, the experience could truly become exceptional.

One of our favourite restaurants in Bali! Highly recommend booking early for 5:45pm ish to get a good seat to watch the sunset whilst eating the best dinner. Our service and everything we ordered was 10/10! Highly recommend booking and booking early for an outside seat! Staff are very knowledgeable about gluten free options too

The service at Teja Uluwatu was absolutely outstanding: incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It was honestly the best part of the experience and made the entire visit feel so special. Big thanks to Parwata,he was lovely! The food was amazing, both in presentation and taste. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted even better, you can tell there’s real care and creativity behind it. The restaurant itself is stunning: elegant, stylish, and full of character. The atmosphere is unique, with a refined yet relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for a memorable evening. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful location for dinner - the views were incredible! The food was super good and the drink selection was really good - unique, house creation cocktails. We got the popcorn prawn starter which was 10/10. For mains we got the steak to share with 2 sides and this was a perfect amount to be honest. This was also super tasty. We got the chocolate tart for dessert which was also pretty good. Overall a really nice dinner experience in a beautiful setting.

An unforgettable dining experience with the most beautiful sunset view in Uluwatu. The setting is breathtaking, overlooking the ocean as the sky turns gold and pink. The food is delicious and refined, every dish carefully prepared and full of flavor. Truly a culinary highlight. The service is excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome. Everything runs smoothly and with style. Make sure to reserve in advance, as this place fills up quickly around sunset. Teja Uluwatu is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a special evening, amazing food, perfect service, and a view you will never forget.

Japanese restaurant
YUKI Uluwatu is a new Japanese-inspired izakaya located near the scenic coastline of Uluwatu. It is the second outlet to open on the island, following the success of YUKI Canggu. The restaurant offers amazing Japanese food and a peaceful atmosphere with lovely low lighting. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. Visitors can expect delicious dishes such as lamb meatballs and decadent chocolate mousse dessert in this cool and welcoming setting.
We tried the chef’s selection menu, a 9 course sharing experience, and really enjoyed it. Our favorites were the cucumber salad, tuna tartare, and the T-bone steak. Overall, the dishes were very good, though a few felt a bit overpowering for example, the snapper with lime essence. The lime flavor was so strong that it masked the snapper, but when we tried it with less sauce, the fish’s flavor came through beautifully. The service was outstanding. Desi looked after us from start to finish, explaining each dish with detail and adding her wonderful sense of humor. She truly elevated the whole experience. Thank you, Desi 💕

I enjoyed one of the best, if not the best, meals in Bali at Yuki Uluwatu. The ambience, food and service were all exemplary. The Wagyu Sando is a must order, but everything we had was delicious. I will definitely be coming back again next time I’m in Bali and will be bringing more people! Thank you for such a memorable meal!

One of my favourite Japanese restaurants ever! Never disappoints! We’ve dined here a few times now, each time we come to Bali and it’s amazing each time. The staff are very knowledgeable about allergies and the presentation and quality of food is 10/10. Staff are knowledgeable on what is gluten free even though it’s listed on a seperate gluten free menu. The cocktails are also all very delicious. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of going! These are photos from the few times we’ve been!

Usually I went to Yuki during the day, but last night I went for dinner. The vibe was actually even better at night - very chill yet still lively. I sat on the bar table and I liked it there as I could watch the bartenders and the chefs making the food and drinks :) I had Tuna Tartare, Octopus Kushiyaki, and Grilled King Prawn, paired with Mad Matcha (one of their signature cocktail). Each food was so good - delicious, fresh, and packed with so much flavor. Mad Matcha was an interesting one. It looked clear, but tasted creamy, fruity. Like... it simply wow-ed me! 😳 For the dessert, I had a Chocolate Mousse. I enjoyed it a lot because the chocolate flavor was intense (a bit bitter, which I love) and worked so well with the salted caramel ice-cream on it. A really nice one to end the already-good meal 😆 I really had a pleasant experience dining here 😄 Beautiful place, friendly and attentive service, and awesome food & drinks - what's not to love?

I have never written a review before, but this restaurant truly deserves it. We were a group of six, and were seated at the back of the restaurant in the smoking area. You would think it was bad, but it wasn’t… No one smoked at all and the atmosphere was still really good. We all ordered the “chef’s selection”, which I 120% would recommend. You get a wonderful variety of all the different types of food they have to offer, from miso soup to black Angus ribeye steak. All the food was phenomenal, and lastly complimented by one of the best deserts i personally have had in my life. And to finish it all off we visited on a Tuesday evening, where they of course have live music

This is the best japanese food in Uluwatu. Really worth the price. The taco is awesome, i can smell something like citrus aromatheraphy inside. Definitely this is a must try restaurant in Uluwatu. They also have another italian next door open by same owner, Yuki also have another branch in Canggu and same group with Meimei in canggu also. The hospitality of the waiters is good. I really love this place and will definitely come back again.

Our dinner at Yuki in Uluwatu was absolutely perfect. The four dishes we ordered — the Katsu Sando, the Watermelon Taco, the Tuna Tartare, and the Ribeye with asparagus and vinaigrette — were all exceptional, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is sexy and elegant, making it ideal for a date night. We especially want to highlight the impeccable service from Padma and Sandra, who took amazing care of us and made the experience even more special. For our last night in Uluwatu, we couldn’t have chosen a better place — a truly perfect ending to our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back as soon as we return to Indonesia.

Nyang Nyang Bar & Restaurant is a unique cafe located above Nyang Nyang Beach. The concept of this place is based on the idea of giving and taking, where customers can set their own prices for food and beverages by leaving donations in a black box. The view from the restaurant is stunning, offering an amazing experience for visitors. With aesthetic wooden interior design, it provides a wonderful ambiance to enjoy a meal while overlooking the beach.
I dined in yesterday. Not many options or restaurants in Nyang-Nyang beach but their food is super good!!!! 😭 The pizza is currently one of my fav around the area! The spring rolls as well. Staff were nice and friendly. And… the price is super affordable for the area. The place also not too loud and not hot tho it’s not indoor. I recommend!

Nice little spot but disorganised. Even with just 2 tables and 4 staff orders delayed and messed up. Music also too loud but maybe it’s to drown out the sound of bartenders fooling around 😂 wagyu burger is great. Get the service more switched on so orders don’t get cancelled or mixed up and you have a cool little spot.

The cold beer was the best thing the food is not good and it took about 40 minutes to get our food and I saw someone else with a meat patty burger and the meat patty was huge. I got mine. It was a little bit petty. and it wasn’t even busy. and meet Patty was scheduled up and dry.

Nyang Nyang Bar & Restaurant is a great place to have a meal when you visit Nyang Nyang Beach. It has aesthetic wooden interior design, and the view of the beach is wonderful. The waitresses that served us were all very friendly. However, the restaurant didn't have a lot of ingredients, and our first 3 choices of order were all rejected as they didn't have it. Even a drink! That was quite a pity. And their Salmon, as well as Fish & Chips tasted,, pretty average Their Pink Lady cocktail could be improved as well - use a more fresh egg white, add more Gin & grenadine syrup (yes, I was a bartender in the past) Regardless, I still recommend visiting this restaurant if you're visiting Nyang Nyang Beach, for the views!

Very nice atmosphere but… they literally have nothing no word of a lie, I think I picked 4 items of the menu and each time she came back and said she didn’t have it or couldn’t make it. Then she showed me the menu and pointed at what I could have it was about 10% of the menu. We all ended up having a Caesar salad. The mango smoothie was really good and Caesar salad average the croutons were slices of toast.

Single Fin Bali is a chic restaurant and bar located on the cliffs of Uluwatu, offering stunning views over the Indian Ocean. It features a multi-level terrace with open decks that provide sweeping views across the ocean and the surf breaks. The venue is known for its vibrant and chilled vibe, serving a variety of global dishes, smoothie bowls, cocktails, and roasted coffee from morning to night.
My gf and me visited this bar for a drink and to enjoy the magnificent sunset views. Once there, we discovered a large pool where you can swim while waiting for the sunset. If you arrive a couple of hours early, you can even relax by the pool’s edge facing the ocean for a front-row view. Personally, though, I’d recommend sitting at one of the tables further back, as they offer a more complete panoramic perspective. There’s no entrance fee and no minimum order, which makes this place a fantastic option. On the second floor, you’ll also find a restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Single Fin Bali is one of Uluwatu’s most iconic cliffside spots — a perfect place to enjoy ocean views, good vibes, and a laid-back surf culture. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of energy, especially around sunset, when the entire place glows with golden light over the waves. You can literally sit for hours just watching surfers ride below while sipping a drink. The food is fresh and flavourful, especially the poke bowls — beautifully presented, generous in portion, and filled with bright ingredients like avocado, tuna, cucumber, and edamame. The menu offers a nice balance between healthy options and comfort food, making it easy to find something satisfying whether you’re here for brunch or dinner. The service was friendly, though it can be a bit slow during busy hours. Staff were helpful and welcoming, but with the large crowd, it sometimes took extra time to get drinks or settle the bill. Still, the relaxed island pace fits the overall beach vibe. The ambience is absolutely the highlight — music, view, and ocean breeze come together to create that perfect Bali moment. Whether you’re coming for sunset drinks or a lazy afternoon meal, Single Fin captures the essence of Uluwatu’s chill, carefree lifestyle. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bali’s southern cliffs.

Perfect spot to watch surfers and enjoy the sun. I went around noon on a weekend and most tables were full. Tip-I recommend sitting on the edge bar tables, it’s MUCH breezy here than the shaded areas! Plus we did not expect hot food menus to be this decent tasting knowing the popularity of this spot, but all menus were surprisingly tasty. Highly recommend, and would def revisit in the future💯

Very great atmosphere and amazing food. We ordered a mushroom pizza and a chicken quesadilla and they were very very yummy! We also used the pool which was nice overlooking the ocean. The only comments I have is that we wanted to use one of the pool beds and the staff refused saying none of them is empty. Despite seeing that a bunch of them was already empty (or maybe already reserved), the staff won’t let you know when one of the beds gets empty you have to keep asking them every while which is a bit annoying. I recommend trying to reserve one of the beds in advance if you plan to use them. There is a minimum spend of 250k per person if u use the small pool beds and 500k per person for the large beds. Also the waiter brought us the bill before we even asked for it which I think wasn’t very polite of him.

Everyone knows the view is amazing, but maybe not everyone knows the service from Alif the waiter and the DJ’s selection in music are the real fun parts of the venue! I came to visit on a Monday for sunset. The DJ had the beats going making everyone dance and Alif was super kind and helpful! He made sure I was taken care of as I was dining solo and felt a little shy because everyone came in big groups with friends. I ended up staying for longer than I expected and all the drinks I got were super yummy and the perfect amount of alcohol. Some other places are so cheap with their alcohol that they end up just tasting like juice, but the bartenders here make the drinks very well. Loved the vibe, music, and service at Single Fin, and I’ll recommend it to my friends from abroad who are coming to visit Bali later this month! Thank you Alif, DJ & Single Fin for a fun Monday night in ulu xxxx P.S. the truffle mushroom pizza is the BEST, super comparable to what I would get from my favorite pizza spot back home in the US😌

I’ve been to Single Fin a few times already, and it’s always a great spot to bring visiting families and friends to watch the surfers. Sitting on the restaurant deck feels like being on a tribune with an incredible view. As a local who looks distinctly Indonesian, I always feel genuinely welcome. The staff are friendly and sometimes even take the time to chat with me. Highly recommended for both the atmosphere and the hospitality.

Single fin is in a beautiful location and the food was decent and came out very quick. Really cool to watch the surfers and fun DJ. The only issue is if you’re sitting on the outdoor balconies there is absolutely no shade. It was uncomfortably hot (our booking was 4.30) and we couldn’t stay very long. I’d make sure to wear lots of Suncream and definitely wear a hat if this is where you are booked for. A few umbrellas would make this a great experience.

This restaurant offers an incredible view of the beach and surfers riding the waves. The staff—both waiters and waitresses—are incredibly friendly and always smiling. The food is absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, and the service is fast and efficient. There’s both indoor seating for those looking to escape the heat and outdoor tables to enjoy the ocean breeze. I highly recommend this place—don’t hesitate, go for it with your eyes closed!

Blue Point Beach, also known as Suluban Beach, is a renowned surfing destination with its white sandy shores and impressive waves. Nestled in Bali, this coastal gem offers breathtaking views of the sea with varying shades of blue, surrounded by lush greenery and unique limestone formations. Accessible through a challenging yet rewarding path of steps and log ramps among rugged cliffs, the beach promises a serene escape for relaxation and water activities.
could get crowded, especially by surfers. went there before noon when the tide was still high. if you're wondering, there is a nice place where you can eat or drink up from here through the stairs.

🌅 Magical Sunset at Blue Point Beach! Blue Point Beach is one of those places that feels like a hidden gem, even though it’s well known. Tucked beneath dramatic cliffs and accessed through a cave like path, the beach opens up to stunning ocean views and the perfect spot to chill, surf, or just take in the atmosphere. But the real showstopper? The sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while the sky turns orange over the crashing waves was absolutely unforgettable. The beach bars up top are the ideal spot to enjoy it with a cold drink in hand. 🛵 One small downside: the parking situation isn’t great, tight spaces and a bit chaotic, especially 1 hour before sunset. But honestly, it’s a small trade off for the experience you get once you’re down at the beach. Just come a bit early and be patient with the parking. Highly recommend this spot for sunset lovers and ocean chasers!

Blue Point Beach was one of the more scenic beaches that we visited in the Uluwatu area. Like Padang Padang and Bingin, it requires a bit of a hike down a staircase that winds through shops and restaurants. At the bottom, you emerge into a stunning cove surrounded by cliffs, which makes for fantastic photos. There isn’t much space to lay out or set your things down near the entrance, but if you follow the wall around to the right, you’ll find a more secluded spot with a quieter stretch of beach (but note this area may only be accessible at low tide).

Great views. If you are brave enough to go through the small cave on the left-hand side (behind the stairs leading to the cliff warung) you will reach a fantastic secret beach.

A little crowded I would say, should also be cautious as there’s monkeys roaming around. The place looks good but there’s a lot of more beautiful beaches within the area.

Tons of surfers N tourist. Steep steps, often wet n some parts stinky... Stilllll , quite nice to catch a sunset view N easy drink N snack at the cafe overlooking the sea. Getting your feet wet was half the fun n if you search hard enough, you might take back some lovely shells at LOW TIDE. Remember to time your trip accordingly, if you're going to the beach and "cavern/cliff" areas (with the sunset n weather) if that's your thing❤️❤️❤️. Lastly, and as my surfing client mentioned... it's 99% tourist 🤣 Absolutely No regrets spending the evening and 45-minute by GRAB from Renaissance Resort n Spa, where we were staying

Uluwatu Beach is a renowned surfing spot in Bali, favored by some of the world's most famous surfers. The beach features a wide reef break below a massive cliff face and is not much of a sandy beach. Visitors should be prepared for a steep climb down many steps to reach the water. The currents can be challenging, and the lineup is often crowded and competitive, making it more suitable for advanced surfers.
A unique beach between the rocks with an entrance through a cave, giving it a special atmosphere. It’s a popular spot for surfing, but the waves can sometimes be strong and dangerous. Worth a visit for the stunning views and photos, even if you only stay a short while.

This beach is incredibly photogenic and offers one of the best sunset views in the area. The shoreline is quite rocky, so it’s wise to wear sturdy slippers or water-friendly shoes for easy walking. Despite the rocky terrain, the scenery is beautiful and perfect for photography lovers. The beach is accessible via a set of stairs and has a peaceful, laid-back vibe. Along the cliffs, you'll find several sunset cafes that offer fantastic views—perfect for relaxing with a drink after exploring the beach. There are also local vendors on the beach selling snacks, beers, and other refreshments. Overall, it's a great spot to take in a memorable sunset and enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline.

Uluwatu Beach is one of the most beautiful spots in Bali. The dramatic cliffs overlooking the turquoise ocean are simply breathtaking, offering some of the most stunning coastal views on the island. It’s a great place to relax, take photos, or just sit and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing below. The beach itself has a raw, natural charm — a mix of rugged rock formations, clear waters, and soft sand tucked beneath the cliffs. It’s also a favorite among surfers for its powerful waves. Getting down to the beach involves some stairs, but the view makes every step worth it. Whether you come for the scenery, the surf, or the sunset, Uluwatu Beach truly captures the essence of Bali’s coastal beauty.

Very nice beach with beautiful views and restaurants on the side of the cliff. Haven’t seen anything like it. Especially beautiful around sunset. I think if the part you have to walk through (where all the restaurants are located) gets a bit of love and attention it’ll be even better.

People saying not to go here are insane or perhaps trying to keep tourists from coming. Aside from the wannabe influencers being annoying with their posing and blocking the view of the surf and sunset, this place is spectacular. Definitely want to visit at low tide and yes watch your step on the way down but we took our 7 year old and 3 year old and they had a blast in the tide pool. Monkeys, unique sand texture and man that wave machine out front spitting out barrel after barrel is exactly what we came to see in Bali.

It was high tide when I visited, so I couldn’t actually walk onto the beach after making the long trek down the stairs. Aside from snapping a few Instagram-worthy photos, it didn’t feel like the trip was really worth it. The bar on the cliff was quite nice though — it offers a stunning view overlooking the beach and cliffs, which helped make up for the rest. The overall area felt a bit disorganized, with lots of small stalls selling souvenirs along the stairs. It’s a popular spot, but personally, I wouldn’t visit again.

Suluban Beach, located in the southwest of Bali, is a small and unique beach surrounded by limestone cliffs. To access it, visitors must descend steps past warungs and surf shops before walking through a sandy cave to reach the sandy shore. The beach is popular among surfers and offers the opportunity to watch professionals in action. It's advisable to visit during low tide for an easier return through the cave. The beach's magical aura and limestone formations make it a picturesque location for photography.
Suluban Beach is one of Uluwatu’s hidden gem spots and definitely worth a visit. The beach is beautiful, surrounded by towering rock formations, creating a dramatic and unique coastal vibe. However, it’s not the best place to relax on the sand, as the beach is rocky and not very soft. To get here, you only need to pay IDR 5,000 for motorbike parking, then continue walking down the cliffside path to reach the beach. The waves can get quite big, and you’ll often see tourists surfing here. If you prefer a more relaxed way to enjoy the sunset, it’s best to sit at one of the clifftop cafés, the view from above is absolutely stunning.
Romie M — Google review
Suluban quickly became my favorite beach in Bali. The setting is absolutely stunning, a true paradise for surfers, with great food spots nearby and some of the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve seen. The slightly tricky access, depending on waves and tide, actually made it feel even more special to me, and unlike many other places, it was never overcrowded. That said, the amount of trash especially in the parking area and even on parts of the beach is absurd and really takes away from the overall impression. Still, we kept coming back because the place is unique and full of charm. Just watch out for the monkeys, on one of our five visits, a tourist had their phone stolen from the beach.
Larisa P — Google review
The beach itself is absolutely stunning and amazing views. The only downside was the walk down—there was strong smell along the path, which wasn’t pleasant. But once you reach the beach, it’s totally worth it. It’s only small beach and it was very big wave so couldn’t go till inside. Only enough for took photos nothing else!
Bintang A — Google review
If you want to watch surfing, this is a great spot. Many locals and semi-permanent surfers ride the waves here. In addition, the beach is definitely "exotic", with the sea rushing into the cave beach. It's quite a hike down to the beach, and you need to be aware of the monkeys, who will steal your water or your coke.
Colin G — Google review
This is a must visit place. Near uluwatu temple. If you go early you'll face much less waves.but i think its best to experience more waves.very energetic vibes
Haris J — Google review
Incredible hidden gem! The rocky cave entrance and misty ocean views gave Suluban an adventurous, dramatic vibe. Cloudy skies only made it feel more unique and wild.
Rana C — Google review
Must visit if you are visiting Uluwatu area. It’s truly a panoramic view from wherever you decide to go in for views - I went to Single fin👍 Highly recommend going down the small alley if you have good knee joints😅 not for the elderly. It’s a narrow, steep, slippery alley going down. And some monkeys too! The beach view is simply breathtaking.. go through the big rocks on the right side when you are down and a less popular beach area shows up.
Sophie — Google review
Tucked beneath Uluwatu’s cliffs, Suluban feels like a secret pirate cove. You walk through narrow rock crevices to reach the beach — it’s part adventure, part discovery. Wild waves crash against the caves, and the sunset here? Pure magic. Not your average Bali beach — this one has a soul.

Yoga studio
Experience the serene Morning Light Yoga studio at Uluwatu Surf Villas, offering breezy classes above the waves and sunset yoga on the cliffs at Balangan Beach. The morning sessions are from 7:30-9am with a different practice each day led by a lovely instructor. The stunning ocean view adds to the energizing atmosphere, and participants receive a free fresh coconut after class.
The best yoga class in the world! You can feel the wind, and listen to the sound of strong waves below during the yoga session. The instructor is kind, patient and professional. Love here 🤍

Amazing yoga that’s really calming. It’s okay for beginners as they give options. Wear mosquito spray though as I got bitten. And take cash

Unforgettable experience!! Kate was awesome!! The atmosphere was so relaxing and refreshing!! The sound of the ocean, birds and water…

Imagine doing your vinyasa flow with the sound of waves. Yep, it's one of the most peaceful yoga classes I've been to. The place was amazing, no doubt. Bring your cash as it will be cheaper than cards.
Nurul S — Google review
Traveling to Bali, I decided to take my first ever yoga class — and the experience was truly exceptional. Practicing in such an idyllic setting, with the sound of the ocean right beside you, made it even more special. Cate, the yoga teacher, was amazing — calm, supportive, and truly inspiring.
Κατερίνα Σ — Google review
We absolutely adored our sessions! Unfortunately due to a lack of time we only assisted to a couple of yoga mornings but they were the best part of our trip ! 🧘🏼‍♀️❣️
Eline H — Google review
Beautiful yoga class in a gorgeous setting. Viktoria’s was one of the best yoga classes we’ve ever had. She was very knowledgeable and her sequence was thoughtful, different from typical flows we’ve seen in other vinyasa classes.

Gorgeous studio with jungle and ocean views. I attended a great, intimate morning class AND you get a refreshing coconut to top it off! 😊💕

I love this place. We ran across it on our last vacation. It had the best selection gifts to bring home that we found in Bali. I love how the prices are fixed (great prices) and no haggling. The lady working was very helpful and EXTREMELY friendly. Highly recommend.

Bought few keychains and other items from here, only to find out they were available at krisna oleh oleh (near dps airport) at way cheaper price. Set of 10 key chain were cheaper there than just one key chain bought from here. BTW there collection is not bad, but make sure to check with other places.

Nice lady, some nice souvenirs. It's not a big shop but you can find some statues or small ghifts for your loved ones. Be aware that you can pay only with cash.

Chinese restaurant
Shanghai Ulu Bali is a casual dining spot in Uluwatu that offers Chinese cuisine with American influences. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a rare find in the area. Diners can enjoy scrumptious Chinese staples like seafood fried rice, eggplant tofu, and Sweet Fire Tempe at reasonable prices. The menu also features chicken rice bowl specials on Wednesdays, offering various chicken dishes with sides.
Great spot for some Asian food in Uluwatu. We enjoyed some starters, the Combo Meal as a main and finished strong with a fresh Lava Cake. The Combo Meal was great to try two different dishes and the food in general was awesome. That evening we also could enjoy some live music from a talented artist.
Salf R — Google review
Dining at Shanghai Ulu was an absolute treat! The flavors were incredible — every dish tasted authentic and was bursting with delicious spices. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. The decor really transports you, adding an immersive touch that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a little corner of China in Uluwatu. If you’re craving Chinese food that’s done right, this place is a must-visit. Loved every minute! 🥢🍜

What a great place! The owner and all the staff are so nice. The best service I got in Bali. The food is delicious! And really big portion. I could barely finish, but it was so good that I couldn't stop!
Dana — Google review
A really nice Chinese restaurant situated in Blue Point, Bali. The venue is cozy and well furnished. The food is great, we tried two starters and two main courses as well as two desserts, which the owners treated us with for free, probably because we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and they wanted it to seem busy. Nevertheless, it was tasty. Customer parking is available and pricing is reasonable considering the quality. Starters are priced at approximately 40k IDR, chicken main courses at 55k, beef, pork and seafood at 65k. Rice can be added for 10k. Prices includes tax. The owner is a service minded guy with restaurant experience who moved to here from LA, and he seem to know what he is doing! I can definitely recommend that you pay a visit when in the area.

Delicious beers, sweet fire chicken is on point! Also black pepper beef. Fun little spot great way to smash a bunch of protein post Ulu surf sessions. Def worth a stop!
Quinn H — Google review
Nicely staff and very good food. We've been looking for a place to have a late dinner with my girlfriend and find this. I highly recommend that we've tried several starters and dishes and everything was very good and tasty !!
Michael B — Google review
outdoor and fully indoor seating (kinda rare in bali) with Chinese decor. calls itself chinese with American influenced Chinese food. wonton soup was good if not what an American would probably expect flavor wise with that dish. orange tofu also pretty good. good prices. other menu items looked appealing as well (chow mein for 15k being one of them). good choice for casual dining in an area where restaurants can be crowded and needlessly expensive at dinner time. plenty of parking. worth a shot.

Diah was the sweetest, most charismatic waitress I’ve had anywhere in the world! The food was EXCELLENT and a great server will always make the experience that much better! We went here 3 days in a row and finished our stay in Uluwatu with a beautiful breakfast and our see you later to Diah! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great time with great food in Bali!

Been here for dinner. We didn’t reserve a table but were able to get one of the last available seats. Great service with friendly and attentive staff. The pasta with chicken, mushrooms, and bacon was really good.
Eva — Google review
Went here for lunch with my husband, but it was pretty disappointing. I asked for my steak to be medium, but it came out well-done, and the fried egg was burnt. Such a shame, especially since the dish was quite pricey. Don’t think we’ll be coming back.
Winda F — Google review
Verry sweet people ! Nice to eat after a surf session. They also have protein shakes en nice interior
Alexandra B — Google review
Really amazing food! A little more expensive than other restaurants but it’s worth it. Even for some cute latte art on our lattes!
Alyssa J — Google review
Ours home was a bit of a let down with the high recommendations that came from this place. Unfortunately, the menu does not list all the ingredients. I have a tomato allergy, so I thought ordering the truffle scramble eggs was a safe bet and forgot to mention it. Unfortunately came out with tomatoes. The staff were is quick to remake it with little complaint however, which was great! I would suggest the menu is updated to include all ingredients, to ensure allergy and dietary requirements are met. My partner got the big breakfast, which was overall okay, however, the bacon was flavourless. Lastly the coffee was not great, the flavour profiles were not there and was a pretty weak coffee. We ordered a long black. Overall, it’s still a nice place to eat. Very clean restaurant, with lovely decor and service. However, the food was lacking. Very much reminds me of an influencer place, very aesthetic but lacks quality.
Mali K — Google review
The portions are small compared to other restaurants in the same category. The price is high for what they offer. I had to cancel the tuna taco — even after complaining that it had almost no filling and was tiny, the waitress preferred to let me leave dissatisfied rather than try to solve it. For the same price, the taco at Ulu Fishmarket is ten times bigger. Both the food and the service fall short.
Renata T — Google review
Although the food was good, the prices are crazy. It wasn't the best food I've ever had, just good. I ordered truffle butter scrambled eggs and asked for a gf toast which I was charged extra 15k for even though regular toast was already included??? This makes no sense to me. Please revise your pricing

M. MASON. Bar | Grill Uluwatu is a popular dining spot located in the vibrant area of Uluwatu, Bali. The restaurant offers a relaxed indoor-outdoor dining experience surrounded by lush tropical plants and an energetic open kitchen atmosphere. Known for its extensive menu featuring both longstanding favorites like the 48-hour slow-cooked short ribs and new Uluwatu-specific additions, M. MASON attracts locals and tourists alike seeking exceptional food and service.
Good standing desk spot out the front! The espresso martini was nice as well. A bit small for the price though. Staff were nice, venue was crisp, modern and clean, and close to the cliff bars and Uluwatu main surf break. Cool spot to chill out and enjoy a fuel up 🍸

Best food we’ve had in Uluwatu!! We had no booking so sat in the garden area which only served small plates and sides (not mains) - and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Amazing food - the wagyu koftas were the best I’ve had anywhere (and we eat a lot at Lebanese restaurants in Sydney). The zucchini salad was 5 star, and the corn croquettes and spiced roasted cauliflower was spot on as well. Cocktails delicious. Service was delightful and Mangtri our waitress was so lovely - and funny as well! Atmosphere was super chill with good background house music. Vibes felt almost Mediterranean or south of France. Would come back to Uluwatu just to dine here :)

M. MASON Bar | Grill Uluwatu is a must-visit! The vibe is amazing with a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere perfect for any occasion. The food is absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Service is attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. A perfect spot to enjoy great food, drinks, and ambience in Uluwatu.

We had some of the best food we’ve ever had in Bali here. During the 5 days we spent in Uluwatu, my family and I visited this restaurant a total of 7 times for both lunch and dinner. Every dish on the menu is carefully prepared with attention to detail. The staff is incredibly attentive, and they even use a thoughtfully chosen mosquito repellent spray in the restaurant. Every little detail is just perfect. The food was absolutely amazing. I can’t recommend enough the Burnt Butter Ice Cream and Cookie—they were definitely some of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The Empanada, Dolma, Tiger Shrimp, and the pastas were all exceptional. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Thank you for such an unforgettable dining experience!
Mehmet C — Google review
Food and drinks were good but we didn’t get the hype. We would definitely try again next time we are in Bali as I believe it can be amazing. The charcoal chicken was the best my partner advised. The staff were really lovely and knowledgeable about gluten free options which was great and made my life a lot easier

Went here for date night. Was vibey with the music and lighting. Waiter was also helpful helping us figure out what we would want to eat based on our dietary preferences (halal). Got the octopus carpaccio, steak, carrots, hummus/bread, chocolate cake and pavlova. Hummus was so good!
Rifa — Google review
The restaurant is really nice, beautiful atmosphere but the food was really average taking into account portion sizes and prices. We had great expectations and weren’t match at all. The yellow fin tuna was the only dish worth getting.
Francisca M — Google review
The environment is decent, but I’m really disappointed with the food. I ordered four dishes—the appetizers is ok,but the two staples, plus the chicken and fish dishes, are all way too salty. You can’t taste the original freshness of the ingredients at all. Not recommended.
