Dow Gardens, spanning over 100 acres in Midland, is a stunning botanical paradise showcasing an impressive variety of plants and landscapes. Visitors can explore beautifully landscaped gardens adorned with vibrant flowers, towering trees, and charming bridges. The garden also features a historic home, sculptures, and an enchanting stream. Throughout the year, the gardens host various events such as Butterflies in Bloom during spring and outdoor movies in summer.
Dow Gardens and Whiting Forest is beautiful. We had a very tranquil day walking the length of the park and then some. We enjoyed seeing the different plants, flowers, and trees. The Canopy Walkway was also a treat to the flowers and trees from above. I enjoyed the Children's Garden tremendously. I learned a bit about some vegetables it may be easy to incorporate into my landscape and harvest for food - bonus! Highly recommend a visit to commune with nature and beauty for a few hours.

Dow Gardens is an absolute gem! 🌸 The entire place is beautifully maintained with vibrant flowers, peaceful walking trails, and well-designed landscapes that change with the seasons. The canopy walk is a must-try it gives you a stunning bird’s-eye view of the trees and gardens. It’s such a refreshing spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy nature. Perfect for a family outing, a quiet stroll, or even just some “me-time.” The staff is friendly, and everything feels thoughtfully taken care of. Truly one of the most beautiful places to visit in Michigan! 🌿✨

Enjoyable, relaxing, intriguing. Had a fabulous day wondering different paths throughout the gardens and your even encouraged to leave the path to walk across the lawn to find other hidden places. Saw lots of different varieties of plants and flowers. Thought things were labeled quite well so you knew what you were looking at. Had a canopy walk which was really cool to be up so high in the pine trees to look out across different areas of the grounds. The café by the canopy walk was very well priced having sandwiches, drinks and ice-cream. Looking forward to another trip on a Thursday or Friday so I can tour the Pines home.

Dow Gardens are beautiful. Such a peaceful and lovely way to spend an afternoon. Everything is very walkable and extremely well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. I met a friend at the gardens and we spent a few hours catching up, and we really enjoyed ourselves. They would be equally enjoyable solo, or as a family.

We visited this garden in Fall season and its perfect choice. Dow Gardens and Whiting Forest is awesome beautiful. We seen beautiful fall colors. We walked around the park and We enjoyed seeing the different plants, flowers, and trees. The Canopy Walkway was must see attraction at park. It has beautiful trail walk and glass top view. My daughter enjoyed the Children's Garden tremendously. Highly recommend a visit to commune with nature and beauty for a few hours.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The grounds were gorgeous. Prepare to get lost in the vast gardens and venture down hidden paths amongst the flowers. I might have visited a quarter of the place in my almost 2 hours there, and I am already planning my next trip back. It's definitely worth the cost of admission.

This is an awesome place. Well worth the drive. We came from 2 hours away. Lots of walking, beautiful paved paths, mulched trails. The canopy walk is built to stand till the end of time. The flowers and trees are all so beautiful. Everything about this place is so peaceful and calming. There is a waterfall, a stream, flower gardens, trees, ponds, bridges, and lots of soft green grass. There are also lots of benches to sit and enjoy the views and relax. Spend the day and enjoy.
KIM L — Google review
I love coming here in the Fall to see the colors of the leaves on the canopy walk. But the summer is just as nice. You can definitely get a workout in if you walk all of the gardens and the canopy walk in one day. So sad that the playground was made out of wood and rotting and got torn down. I do hope they make plans to make another one.

Best day in space ever!!! The Infinite is such a cool exhibit for all ages.... in and out without too much confusion... would definitely recommend this location for visiting The Infinite... or for some cool NASA swag

Midland center for the arts, specifically, Dow Gardens, is always a great place to take a family to view the fantastic floral exhibits and the canopy skywalk at Whiting Forest. The gardens offer a very unique experience and you get to see some flowers and plants that aren't necessarily native to Michigan. There is a butterfly house in the spring and other various events throughout the year and a very nice cafe located near the canopy walk with reasonably priced food and drink options. Great place to spend a few hours outside enjoying the scenery alone or with family and friends.

I had reserved tickets on their website to see STOMP. I show up after driving almost 2 hours to get here and they had the wrong date listed on their will-call. Then at the office I showed them my email with the date on it. They offered a significantly worse seat as an option with no refund of any kind and told me refunds have to be requested at least 72 hours before the day of the show. I just left after that insulting experience. Thank you for charging me $180 for a sub-optimal experience!

The parking lot is being redone but parking is normally right adjacent to the building and convenient. The building itself is nice inside, handicapped-accessible.

I took my children here for the dinosaur exhibit. The cost of admission was $10 for an adult ticket and $7 per child. It was well worth the price. The dinosaur exhibit was fantastic and there were crafts and hands on activities for the kids. Not only were we able to see that exhibit, but we had access to the rest of the museum as well. The artwork at present was fabulous. The staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely come back.

This was a great experience! We visited for the Dinosaurs but really enjoyed the regular exhibits too. The music area was especially fun. If only we had a soundproof room at home for drumming! Lots of variety for kids with different interests!

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Nestled next to the enchanting Dow Gardens, Whiting Forest of Dow Gardens spans an impressive 54 acres of diverse landscapes, including native forests, meadows, and wetlands. This picturesque woodland area was opened to the public in 2004 and features a stunning apple orchard and serene pond habitats. A highlight of this natural wonder is the remarkable canopy walk—an exhilarating experience that stretches over 1,400 feet high above the ground.
We were camping near Benton Harbor with a couple of grandkids and drove 3 hours just to walk on this canopy. And it was very much worth the drive. The canopy was great and very easy to traverse. Definitely suitable for all ages, but the kids probably get the most out of it. What we didn’t expect was everything that came with it. Dow Gardens was the property of Herbert Dow, the founder of Dow Chemical. He and his wife had an interest in horticulture and built a tremendous garden. There are plenty of walking paths, an interactive children’s garden, sculptures, a cafe, gift shop, and a museum that gives you the history of the property and the Dow family. There is so much more to enjoy. This was a lot of fun and I can see us coming back to enjoy the garden some more. There was a $15 entry fee.

Grounds are super pretty. Construction was a bit of a nightmare and took us a while to figure out where to park, an employee finally stopped us and directed us. Lots of great walking areas and places to take photos, the grounds were clean and no litter. However we mostly came for the treetop canopy walk and were disappointed it was so short. We will be back to explore more though.
Mallory B — Google review
If you haven’t wandered through the Whiting Forest yet, you’re missing out on such a treat. It’s one of those places that feels like you’ve stepped into a little pocket of calm, where the everyday noise just melts away. The flowers are everywhere—bright pops of color lining the paths and filling the air with that fresh, earthy smell you only get outdoors. Birds were chirping nonstop, like they were putting on their own little concert just for us. And the best surprise of the day? We spotted an otter playing by the water, which pretty much sealed the deal on making the walk unforgettable.
Victor L — Google review
Dow Gardens in Midland, MI is truly a gem and a place that exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the grounds were spotless and extremely well cared for. One of the features I really appreciated was that nearly every plant and tree was tagged, so not only do you get to enjoy the beauty of the gardens, but you also learn along the way. For someone who enjoys plants and landscaping, this is a wonderful touch that makes the visit both relaxing and educational. We covered about 3.5 miles walking through the gardens, which felt like just the right amount to take in the highlights without being overwhelming. The trails are easy to follow, and as you go, you’ll come across a variety of landscapes—from open, colorful flower beds to shaded paths and beautifully designed garden sections. The colors throughout were simply stunning, and as you can see from the photos I’ve added, it’s an incredible place for photography. About halfway through our walk, we stopped at the café located right inside the gardens. It’s a nice break spot that offers beverages, coffee, ice cream, chips, and a few other snacks. It really adds to the experience, especially on a warm day when you need to cool off or recharge before continuing your walk. If you’re bringing kids, they do have a dedicated play area within the gardens, but honestly, the canopy walk seemed to be the biggest hit with the younger visitors. I saw so many kids excited and full of energy while crossing it. I had thought the canopy walk would be a little longer based on photos I’d seen beforehand, but even though it was shorter than I expected, it was still absolutely worth experiencing. Another major plus is that the gardens are handicap accessible, which makes it possible for people of all ages and mobility levels to enjoy. That’s something not every botanical garden offers, and it really stood out to me. Overall, Dow Gardens offers the perfect mix of natural beauty, education, and accessibility. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Midland, it’s a place I highly recommend. Plan on spending at least a few hours here to fully enjoy the trails, the café, and the canopy walk. It’s a wonderful way to spend a day surrounded by nature.

The canopy walk is lovely and peaceful. It was an easy walk suitable for anyone. The grounds are meticulously maintained and easy to navigate. The Forest Cafe and restrooms are located near the canopy walk.

Amazing walks through the trees. Had free fruit from their orchard. Various adventures to do. Tree houses, rope bridges, glass outlook, tree trampoline.

Great place to check out the fall colors, take the kids while adults can swoon over some nature views
Sam B — Google review
Whiting Forest was an amazing place to visit. The canopy walk was incredible. We visited in mid June. It would be even more beautiful in spring with the gardens flowering or in the fall colors. The Dow Gardens cafe was expensive and the sandwiches were premade and wrapped in saran wrap. Beyond that everything else was incredible. The employee was welcoming, the restrooms were very clean, the grounds were immaculate.

Italian restaurant
Gratzi Midland is a sophisticated eatery offering modern twists on Italian-American classics, along with a full bar and happy hours. The restaurant serves regional Italian cuisine featuring fresh pasta, Neapolitan-style pizza, prime meats, and top-catch seafood. One of the highlights is the Alfredo da Tavola tossed table-side in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano. Additionally, they offer smoked meats at Molasses Smokehouse & Bar.
My now fiance, took me to this amazing Italian restaurant on our 1 year anniversary. Very upscale place, even their menus are on a tablet. The food was out of this world. Our waiter, Kale, gave us the best service, food recommendations and helped my fiance set up the perfect proposal. A night I'll never forget. Thanks Kale and Gratzi staff! Highly recommend.
HackySack T — Google review
This was our first time to visit Gratzi to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our server, Maureen, was outstanding in every way! She went over the menu in detail, answering all our questions. To make our decisions easier, she also provided a tablet that showed photos of each menu item along with wine pairings. We started with the Artisanal Salumeria, an assortment of Italian meats and cheeses. Maureen chose the Mezzaluna A Costine Corte with the beet salad as her entree. I selected the Pollo Parmigiana with a Caesar salad. I was impressed that we were never left waiting for the next course from the complimentary Focaccia bread starter to our entrees. Sadly, we had to skip dessert and Maureen packaged remainder of our meals to take home and enjoy the next day. We will be back!

OUTSTANDING!!!! 10/25/25 was the most memorable day! We had our intimate wedding upstairs at Gratzi; from the moment I walked in the door EVERYTHING was perfect. Christine(manager) even in her absence handled each detail from the moment we spoke on the phone to make the reservations right up to the day of the wedding. The guest are still raving of the delicious cuisine and the exceptional service. Thank you for making our evening so special.

My wife and I had dinner last night as this place was recommended by more than 1 person. I’m not a food expert, but we love to try new restaurants of all different kinds. I can honestly say this might be the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Food, cleanliness, service, drinks & etc. Highly recommend.

Went to Dow Gardens and made reservations for here. The food was super amazing!! Our waiter Michael was very helpful with the menu and awesome! They also have a tablet so you can see the pictures of the food. I got the pasta cheese wheel which was so good!! Highly recommend this place. We got complimentary lemonchello shot which was so fun!
Samantha W — Google review
I dined at Gratzi on a Monday evening hosting a work dinner for 10 people. I chose Gratzi for the dinner because it’s one of the few premier restaurants in small town Midland as far as ambience and selection. The interior of the restaurant is nice and suitable for a date night, special occasion, or work event. This time I had the Parmigiano di Coregone. I appreciated the crust on the whitefish filet, but the flavor was underwhelming. It needed extra seasoning (salt and pepper) to bring it up to par with the lemon-caper butter. The Costolette Brasate was too cheesy to the point where it consumed the taste of the slow roasted beef short rib. The calamari was the highlight of the night. Cocktails selection was good, with average strength. Service was a bit slow and I didn’t expect that for a party of 10 on a Monday night. Overall 6/10.
Jamaal W — Google review
So awesome! Order things one at a time to make sure things come spaced out. My husband’s rib eye was the stand out meal, and the Alfredo in the wheel was worth the two hour drive we made for it

The Tridge, a unique three-way wooden footbridge, is a popular tourist attraction in Midland, MI. Constructed in 1981 at the confluence of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa Rivers, it serves as a gateway to Chippewassee Park and other nearby attractions like the Midland Farmers Market and Pere Marquette Rail Trail.
Such unique architecture and beautiful scenery. Several different parks at the base of each bridge, including, but not limited to, splash pad, dog park, frisbee golf course, paved walking paths, and easy to use kayak loading and unloading docks. All within walking distance of local shops and restaurants . Bike repair stations, dog drinking fountains, they really thought of it all! Can't wait to go back!
Katharine P — Google review
A great place for a relaxing walk. The Tridge itself is a really cool bridge structure, but there's so much more to the area. There are parks in all directions allowing for multiple activities: Walking, bike riding, jogging, kayaking, etc. There are multiple dog parks for different sized dogs, playscapes for kids, even a skate park!

Seen pictures on FB. I have been wanting to go for some time now. I got the chance and brought my sister with me. What a beautiful place. So much to explore. And lots of walking. This is truly a BIG park. We were there ruffly and hour. And soaked up the atmosphere, statues, and beautiful flowers around the park. All of it was a vary interesting to see. You got to go and see this beautiful Tridge.
Molly R — Google review
The Tridge in Midland is one of the city’s most unique and iconic landmarks, and it’s so much more than just a bridge. This three-way wooden footbridge sits at the meeting point of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa Rivers, and each arm leads you to something different — making it the perfect hub to start an adventure. One arm takes you into Chippewassee Park, a large recreational area with ball fields, playgrounds, and plenty of green space. This is also where the Midland Dog Park is located, which is a big bonus if you’re traveling with pets. Another arm leads to St. Charles Park, a quieter spot that offers open grassy areas and peaceful river views. The third direction takes you straight into Downtown Midland, where you can grab food, shop, or connect directly to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, a paved 30+ mile path that’s great for biking, jogging, or walking. The Tridge itself is well maintained, handicap accessible, and has beautiful views of both rivers. It’s a popular gathering place and you can feel the community vibe as soon as you’re there. When we visited, there were a ton of kids dressed up for homecoming photos on the bridge and in the parks nearby. Honestly, it’s a fantastic idea — the bridge, the river, and the parks make for a really stunning backdrop. What I love most about the Tridge is its versatility. Families with kids have space to play, dog owners have a park right there, and outdoor enthusiasts can hop on the trails. It’s also a great spot for photography — whether you’re catching the sunset over the rivers, snapping pictures of the bridge itself, or just documenting a day out with friends and family.

Went August 1 and we ran into a festival. Not much parking. Do.ifnyoungo start before noon. Free on street and a parking lot next to tridge. Lots of food stands but they don't open until 7 pm. If you're in the mood for a delightful lunch experience, look no further than Amazing Deli. Nestled in downtown, this charming deli specializes in crafting imaginative made-to-order sandwiches that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. With an inviting atmosphere and a menu boasting over two dozen unique sandwich options, including ten varieties of hot dogs made with Koegels frankfurters, there's something for everyone.
Such a great deli! I was craving a hearty sandwich and found the Amazing Deli in downtown Midland. The employee working the counter was very helpful, giving good suggestions for sandwich choices as well as having the other half of my sandwich pre-wrapped since I only wanted half. The prices were very fair, and the Smokey Chicken sandwich I had was flavorful and well portioned. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely be back!

Probably the lamest amount of meat you could put on a sandwich. I mean I'm not sure who their targeting with the lawyer's deluxe but a person is not going to order Corned Beef if they are trying to lose weight!! (Turkey maybe??) Finished this thinly dressed sandwich and I'm still hungry. Paid $11 and I should of asked for triple meat... which I'm guessing would have costed me $33 for the acceptable amount of meat on my sandwich. Amazing Deli??🤔 not sure I'll be coming back. I wasn't amazed. I'll include photos

Phenomenal sandwich! I got the Italian sandwich. I added banana peppers and bacon, and it was so good. Only I wish they had a option that would be a larger sandwich but very clean restaurant and very fresh food. Best sandwich I’ve had in a while. I’m not a huge lettuce girl, but the lettuce looks really good and it was very good.

I have not been here in over 15 years due to moving away and the Ed's Reuben was just as I remember. This is by far the best place to get a sandwich in Midland.

It’s Okay, not “Amazing” . The place is as moderately clean. There wasn’t much turkey in my wrap and the cheese couldn’t have been any more thin. I felt there should be a nice sourdough on the menu if you’re going to call it an “Amazing” deli. It was as average. Very similar to Jersey mikes quality but I feel you actually get more meat at jerseys.

Great little ma and pap shop serving sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, chips (some Michigan local chips) and bottle or fountain drinks. This local deli serves fresh foods that are both eye and stomach appealing. We really enjoyed our sandwiches and recommend this for local cuisine. The customer service was professional and personable. A must when in Midland.

ONe eighteen is a delightful bistro that brings classic steakhouse dishes to life in an elegant setting inspired by mid-century design. This vibrant eatery focuses on connecting people through its authentic American cuisine, offering everything from prime beef to fresh seafood. The executive chef, Bawar, leads a talented team at both ONe eighteen and Cafe Zinc at The H Hotel, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Guests rave about the attentive service and inviting atmosphere.
Absolutely delicious. This restaurant has such a great atmosphere. It is casual but classy. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Attentive but not intrusive. I think I could have ordered pretty much anything on the menu it all sounded so delicious! The house made pickles are a must have and save room for dessert!

First time at ONe Eighteen but not our last. We were seated immediately (we had reservations). We were greeted with fresh bread and butter. We started with some fries which were absolutely amazing! I ordered the chefs cut which was a 20oz Kansas City strip, cooked perfectly. The wife ordered the 8oz filet which was also cooked perfectly. I had a tough time not eating all of the red wine pearl onions that came with her meal. We also enjoyed a few rounds of the Wildberry Martini’s. You’ll be buzzed after your first drink. Our only complaint would be that it was about 80° inside during peak summer. I don’t believe that should be the reason one doesn’t visit here as the food and service was great.

This restaurant is simply amazing. My husband and myself ate here for our 14year Wedding Anniversary.. I was blown away. Better than I expected. The atmosphere was fabulous. Nice ambiance, and the food was so GOOD GOOD GOOD. The menu choice’s top notch .Our waitress Taylor was one of the best waitresses I’ve had in a few years. Nice, attentive, knowledgable and a very attractive personality. She was delightful. Its inside the H Hotel, which is equally as nice. We’re from Warren MI. Had 7pm reservations for 5, but our orders weren't taken until after 8p. It wasn't super crowded, and our server didn't give an explanation for the delay. Our meal took almost another hour to get to our table. Everyone enjoyed their meal choices (including desserts), but the long wait put a bad taste in our mouths.

Everyone found something delicious on the menu and were blown away by the quality of the meal. Service was excellent (Thanks, Ethan!). Would highly recommend the 118 Penney Punch, the poutine, the short rib ragu, the gnocchi, and the pork chop. And those are just the highlights!

I like the casual yet classy surroundings, but it can be a bit noisy. Other than that, the food and service were outstanding. We started with a bread basket containing white and dark choices, which we devoured. So we had two. We shared burnt ends as an appetizer, and they were excellent. I chose the pork chop with sweet potatoes, carrots, and brussels sprouts for my entree. Everything on the plate was expertly prepared. My partner had the meatloaf and enjoyed it very much. I took the waitress' recommendation for a mocktail. There were many choices, and I took the first one on the menu. It was highly unusual - unlike anything I've had before - and quite good. So I had two. I will definitely return to this restaurant.

First time and definitely not the last! We had a great meal all around. The wedge salad was so good with ranch dressing and bacon cooked to perfection. We had one of the specials which was a play on posole with sweet potatoes and also had the walleye. Both delicious. The chocolate cake and pineapple cake were both heavenly. Not a crumb to be spared. We will be back.

We visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday Sat night. We ended up with Ethan as our server. The food was great as always but most impressively was our service with Ethan. He was great with recommendations and checking in on us regularly without being over bearing. He allowed us to move our table outside and he would continue waiting on us. He brought out a delicious piece of carrot cake for her birthday and continued to bring drinks for us. It started sprinkling and he put a giant umbrella up for us so we could continue our night outside with the beautiful fall weather. I dont know if we can request servers next time we go but if we can, we would definitely be requesting Ethan. Made the night perfect for us!

Taco restaurant
Proper Taco offers a variety of unique and flavorful tacos, each with interesting names like Mango Jerry, Odin, Marco, Pollo, Jessica, Karen and Benjamin. In addition to the diverse taco options, the menu also includes nachos, dips and salads along with Mexican Coca-Cola, Jarritos and Topo Chico for drinks. The house-made sauces and corn tortillas add an authentic touch to the dining experience.
Hidden gem award. I lost track of time reading the taco descriptions. Bravo👏 I spoke with a delightful human at a point as well.

Decent place with eclectic tacos and nachos. Got the Merv nachos w/chuck and chorizo protein, Karen taco w/spicy chicken protein and Angie w/braised pork. Nachos were spicy, but the tacos were just good. The food was decent and my husband and I really liked the tortillas they use. He said braised pork is the only protein he will choose from now on. The protein was claimed to be 3 ounces per taco, but it was more like one in my opinion. Would definitely come back to try the other menu items! This lunch was very filling and totaled $32 w/tip

My family are here for the first time yesterday. It was the best Mexican food around. Staff is friendly, we got our food in record time, and the whole vibe is fun yet relaxing.

Proper Taco is a one of a kind place. The food is extraordinary. Don't go looking for mass market Mexican. Each taco is an amazing amalgam of flavors and textures. Try anything on the menu, but order an Odin taco to keep in reserve. It's cool and fresh and calms the spices on your tongue. No buyers remorse here. Do yourself a solid and stop in for a bite!
Troy S — Google review
Cute lil place. I love how the tacos all have people names! It's fun and the employees are very friendly and fast! There's so much to look at too! I had fun going through the basket of pins! The taco I ordered was very good, and it was quite drippy! I had to wrap it with a napkin to contain. I'm definitely going to go back for more!
Nichole B — Google review
Tacos are delicious. Not a fan of the taco tortillas but the fillings and protein are great! Service was amazing!
Will S — Google review
Their Tacos are amazing! Unique flavor combinations with freshness The Mango one has just a bit of a kick but so good. The Odin Taco is the perfect Taco to eat as your last taco because the Tzatziki dressing cools everything down at the end. The staff are super friendly. Must try if you want something that's different than all the rest!

Fast food restaurant
Taco Bell is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in delicious Mexican-inspired dishes, including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. Many fans rave about their experiences at Taco Bell, highlighting not just the mouthwatering food but also the friendly staff who make each visit memorable. One customer shared how a charming employee named Logan made her feel special while taking her order, turning an ordinary meal into an unforgettable moment.
I love this Taco Bell. The food is sooooooo good and the employees are really handsome. Manager Logan took my order and he made me feel like I was the only girl in the world. The way he looked into my eyes as he asked what drink I wanted in my combo had me begging my husband to take me back to this Taco Bell every night. Will not forget this experience anytime soon.

Placed an order and they stated I can't order anything since they are out of beef. When asked if they had anything else to make they said they had beef and everything else in stock, but due to them closing soon they weren't going to put anything else out. We arrived 30-40 minutes before they closed. Don't say you're open until 3AM if you are not willing to serve customers until that time. I'd understand if I got there with only 10-15 minutes before closing, but refusing to serve customers just because you don't want to put product back out is very irresponsible in my opinion. Never have issues with this location usually, but this experience alone really turned me away from coming here anymore if they'd rather make their close slightly more convenient than to serve customers during open hours.
Riley R — Google review
I have been a loyal customer of this location for a very long time but the past two trips were the worst service I've ever had. The past two trips my order was made incorrectly, the first I went back and even when remaking it they continued to make it wrong. The last time it was made wrong when I came back I was told by the employee that she made it herself and she 'knew' she didn't put anything wrong on it even though I was looking at it and she definitely had. I told her that she could look at it and see but she said, and I quote, "Whatever, I don't care." I have never had such bad customer service before and I am absolutely appalled. (I asked for no sour cream or tomato which you can see from the pictures attached were used)
Elizabeth C — Google review
Worst Taco Bell food I have ever had. The Mexican Pizza tasted like some burnt chemical was mixed in the beans. The crispy chicken taco was just a soggy, oily flat thing. I literally just threw it all away it was the first time I have ever ordered Taco Bell and I couldn't eat it, it was just that bad. Update: 8/23/2025. Went back a month later and still the same. Mexican pizza tastes like burnt oil and soap. Just awful food at this location. Avoid!
Jason — Google review
Might be fine, but if you're a night shift person don't bother showing up after 2 AM unless you're in the mood for cheese roll ups. Not sure why they bother advertising later. Advertised time does not equal the time the employees feel like serving people. Must not have clean up time after if they're so busy they can't stick to their own hours.
Ryan D — Google review
Nighttime cravings. I haven’t had something like this made correctly and this good in forever they topped the other taco bells late night crew.
Chelsea M — Google review
Ordered crunchy tacos with light lettuce. Everyone of them had exactly 1 piece of lettuce. Pretty sure someone had to be acting sarcastic because Half the amount of lettuce that’s usually on there would be considered “light” and one piece is definitely not half. (scroll photos you’ll know which one is mine) and all the shells were cracked in half as well. Your prices are way too high to be acting childish with my food. If you don’t like your job, go find something else. your customers are the only reason you’re getting a paycheck.

Assistance was required for mobility at Midland Mall, where a kind and attentive young man and woman provided the necessary electric cart and engaged in pleasant conversation. They catered to all needs, demonstrating respect and care. Despite previous health struggles due to COVID, progress was made by venturing the furthest distance walked in one-and-a-half years. The mall offers a diverse range of establishments that cater to various preferences but some items may be costly, as expected.
It is so nice to go to a thriving mall! This mall was dying a few years back but has since been revived! There are a lot of stores and restaurants! We live up north and come down quite often to shop and have lunch or dinner.

The grey baby high chairs at the midland mall are absolutely gross ! I took my 6 month old granddaughter to the food court on 7-14-25 . before i could put her in it i had to clean off years of stuck on dirt , food, and grime ! the seat belt buckle would not even slide to adjust because it was so filthy and grimy ! every single crack was filled with old food and dirt ! if you took a steamer and cleaned and sanitized them properly it would be most appreciated! also the pedestals/Circular base of all the tables were dirty and had dried food on them . but the biggest problem is your baby grey high chairs !

This mall is putting malls back into errand rotation. There is very seriously something for everyone. Its amazing to see a mall this day in age that is thriving and exciting to shop at. There are constantly new things being added, including the biggest play area I have ever seen for kids. Im so glad I've gotten to witness the rebirth of this mall.

A staple in the community since I was a chold. It offers a variety of shopping and food experiences with more coming. You'll find popular stores alongside some unique local shops as well. The food court serves up a decent selection, ranging from fast food to sit-down. Plus, the mall often hosts community events, which can be a fun way to engage with new peoplein the area. It's got a little bit of everything, making it a convenient spot for shopping, dining, and entertainment, especially with the theater just down the road. Worth a visit if you're in the area!

Midland City Forest Park offers an abundance of trails suitable for walking, biking, and even skiing. It is a perfect destination for a day trip, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beautiful surroundings for hours. The park caters to both children who can frolic around and individuals looking for more challenging bike rides with various jumps and obstacles. With its diverse landscapes, it feels like exploring multiple forests at once – a favorite feature among many.
First time out here and had a very nice, almost 4 mile walk. Trails were wide, clear and well marked, although the map box was empty and there were no maps for walkers/ hikers posted on the information boards. Although it's open to bikes, horses, and walkers, we saw a few of each, but everyone was sharing the trails and playing well together. We also found a few Lady Slippers along the path which was a cool surprise! We were a little concerned as to what the squirrels were up to that made it necessary to post warnings!

So many trails for walking, biking & even skiing! This is 1 of those places you can plan a day trip for and spend hours taking in the scenery. Great for the kids who want to frolic as well as those learning to ride bikes at a tougher level and have the determination. Lots of mountain bike jumps & obstacles too! I’ve been here 5-6 times and still have yet to complete the full circuit. At times it seems as if you’re walking thru 2-3 different forests with the changes of scenery which is my favorite part. The only downfall is that there is a gun range nearby so if that’s not your thing it may bother you.
ADVENTURES H — Google review
Such a great experience. Just like when we were kids... You can rent skis, skates, toboggans all for a decent price. Inside there's hotdogs and hot cocoa. With a good amount of seating for the family. The toboggan run is a hike up 4 flight of stairs but worth it. The kids working it were friendly Hiking trails are great for all year around, take your dog and a smoke and enjoy the nature trails!
Sade — Google review
Great hiking, especially on the smaller mountain bike trails, Gnu Loop in particular (best access from Eastman Rd. lot.) Lots of twists and turns, moderate climbs, ponds and plank bridges. Traffic noise is an unfortunate negative on this side of the forest, but the neighboring gun range on the other side is equally disruptive.

Kohl's, a well-known retail chain, offers a wide range of clothing, accessories, and home goods. Recently revamped and comparable to high-end department stores, the Midland location is worth exploring. The store boasts a bright, clean, and organized environment with ample merchandise. Additionally, the staff is exceptional in their service. Notably convenient is the option to place online orders using one's phone within the store itself - this comes with free shipping.
Had online merchandise to return to this location. Since where I live in East Tawas this store would be the closest. I also had a certificate for a full size bottle of featured fragrance from my purchase of a Sephora favorites perfume sampler I wanted to get. The return process was quick and the clerk was friendly. The redeeming of the certificate was also smooth sailing and they had the perfume I wanted. On checking out was quick and the sales lady Sue was helpful, friendly and had me on my way back to East Tawas. This was a wonderful shopping experience and would come back.

Fantastic facility for family fun! I have a new swimmer who was ready for a bigger pool experience. The life guards and cashiers were all pleasant. The pool was clean and spacious! Great shallow end and deep enough for the advanced swimmer as well. We had a great time and enjoyed this park tremendously. So clean, fairly priced, and well maintained in the way of mechanics. If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot to unwind in Midland, look no further than Boulevard Lounge, affectionately known as The Bully. This beloved establishment has been a staple since 1959 and continues to charm locals and visitors alike with its inviting atmosphere. Under the guidance of Scott Dexter, son of the original owner Clyde Dexter, this lounge has earned accolades for its hearty burgers that are simply irresistible.
Took brother and sister-in-law there. Waitress very friendly and accommodating to a special request on a portion for it be like a child's. Sometimes persons can't eat a full meal. Waitress said no problem with it. The food came out nice and hot. I had the chicken noodle soup and it was hearty and delicious. The buffalo cauliflower was spot on, tasty and not greasy at all. Ive been there for breakfast also and it is good portions, so you should not be hungry afterwards. The overall experience makes for wanting return trips.

Feels kind of like a cafeteria which is no problem. Food was reasonably priced however it was bland. I ordered the Philly steak with pepper jack instead of Swiss…not very exciting. It came with brew fries which were supposed to be battered, seasoned fries but didn’t taste like much. Was hoping for something better as the parking lot was very full… but was left wanting.
Jenni R — Google review
Stopped in during a power outage in our area and the place was packed. Despite the crowd, service was quick and efficient. The onion rings with tempura batter were really good, definitely a shareable portion. But the standout dish was the tempura-battered mushrooms, wow! Crispy, flavorful, and also a big portion you’ll want to share. It’s definitely a lot of greasy comfort food, but absolutely worth it.
Tamara K — Google review
The food here is really great—I’ve come a couple of times and usually enjoy it. On my last visit, though, the service fell short. It was a busy Friday night, and we had a newer waitress. I ordered a 16oz steak with a Caesar salad, and my boyfriend ordered a burger and fries. I forgot to mention how I wanted my steak cooked, and she didn’t ask. When the steak came, it was well done, which isn’t my preference. When I mentioned it, her response felt a bit condescending: ‘If customers don’t say how they want it cooked, we always put it in as well done. Maybe next time we’ll both remember.’ On top of that, my Caesar salad never arrived. While I understand it was hectic, these small details really affect the dining experience. I still tipped well and appreciated her effort, but I’ll be hesitant to choose this spot over others in the future.

I'm a creature of habit and I'm not very big on crowds so Im a return customer for takeout and I have enjoyed the BULLY'S wet burrito and my favorite is the pick four combo. You can select from about six items and I usually get mozzarella sticks onion rings chicken tenders and potato skins with the appropriate condiments. The potato skins are like a mini baked potato with melted cheddar cheese and bacon 🥰 which goes great with sour cream. I'm not much for onions but the onion rings are fantastic. Mozzarella sticks are deliciously breaded and you can easily Master a 4 inch cheese pull. Chicken tenders are always juicy and nicely breaded and go well with the all-time favorite ranch dressing. Bartenders are always prompt and the service is excellent. Waitresses are always easy on the eyes lively and ready to serve. They have a few games in a large screen TV for entertainment, bar tables and large group tables are available as well. A local favorite but if you're from out of town try them out you'll be pleased with your visit.

Took a large family group there. We had plenty of room. Everyone ordered at the counter then I paid. The terminal asks for the tip as many other places do. Great overall experience. One steak lacked flavor. Wait staff seemed overwhelmed. Portions are generous. Nothing was bad. Will visit again if in the area.

Wonderful waitress. Waiting a considerable amount of time for meals & the chicken wasn’t fully cooked. New was made, took an additional 20 mins. Paid full amount ; was disappointed no discount was offered. Thankfully we noticed the pink and spit it out.

Had an early dinner for 5 of us. There was a wait, however, we were able to bypass it by sitting in a booth in the bar area. I was worried we could not be able to get good service but it was great service. The food was much better than expected from a chain restaurant and the prices reasonable. We had Wedge Salad (fresh and good), Steak (a bit over cooked but great flavor), Prime Rib Sandwich (good), and Ribs (yummy).

Our worker clearly didn't know what was happening, and the other workers ignored him and let him mess up. Was waiting for almost a hour while the rest of my table was eating. Then waiter kept ignoring us and walking passed us. Very bad, and. I am from our of town. Came here for this? NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN. Otherwise the town was good and nice and has a Santa Training center?

Horrifying. This was my Filet Mignon. Not sure what it even was. Smelled like fish and was tough. I did not even taste thank God. Brussels sprouts cold. Manager stated “new cook” pulled wrong steaks and comped my meal for my next visit. We shall see if that’s any better. I’ve always loved Lucky’s, but this was REAL bad.
Christin A — Google review
If you haven't tried Lucky's... don't waste your time. Appetizers are poor quality (the menu says they have Steak Bites, but that's not true. They no longer serve those). The onion rings and fries (in the fryer too long) were tough, was too salty and tasted like the freezer. Quesadillas were obviously frozen as well and simply reheated. Awful.

Waitress was good! Manager Matt was terrible. We had a group of 9, when our food came out, Matt the GM delivered it to the table. Food was all less than room temperature. Out of our 9 meals- 2 were satisfactory at best. Medallions were extremely over cooked, asparagus on two meals were HARD and stalks only. Very bitter, broccoli was literally ice cold still in the middle, lobster fettuccine has Zero flavor, Rib tasted horrible! One steak was cooked medium like ordered but was so dried out and nasty. Wedge salads had so much dressing on them, you could pour it off the plate! When we addressed these issues with Matt, he spine so quiet no one. Ours hear what he was saying, he offered to remake one meal for a second time(mind you, everyone was done eating by the time the second over cooked meal came back out), sent it back a second time! Just didn’t want it back at this point. He looked over the bill and gave us a $65.00 credit but our bill was still $200.00 for garbage food and food we could not even eat. His lame excuse was they were training the kitchen staff. Really on our dollar! Terrible Terrible!!!!!!

The burgers are drenched with fat/oil if that’s something you like. I would say they lack flavor (even salt), but maybe they just expect you to salt it yourselves which is fine. They give you complimentary bread-you can choose seasoned or plain. I recommend the plain as the seasoned bread is a bit too salty. They service is always great and food comes generally fast. They don’t have too many options for kids. The atmosphere is rather casual-formal but not super formal.

Chicken wings restaurant
Buffalo Wild Wings is a popular eatery known for its assortment of wings, tenders, and burgers, accompanied by a variety of flavorful sauces ranging from mild to extremely spicy. While the food itself cannot be commented upon in this case, it is worth mentioning the exceptional customer service provided by Jasmine. As someone with 13 years of experience in the restaurant and service industry, including 10 years in management, it is evident that Jasmine's performance during a single interaction was exemplary.
The food was great! I recommend going after 9pm to get the happy hour appetizers from 4$ each rather than the 10-12$ it would usually be. I got the pretzel bites, chips and queso, and mozzarella sticks all for 12$. My waitress, Amanda was very nice. Service was excellent!

B-Dubs has always been one of my favorite go to places to get lunch or dinner food is always tasty but the service is sectional . My servers name was Shaina . She was never once rude but after the food was dropped off to us we asked for drink refills and while waiting 10 minutes for drinks and silverware I ended up having to walk up and ask a worker myself . Not to mention part of my order was messed up when she came back around to ask how everything was I told her that I have been unsatisfied with this visit and it’s been more of a hassle than enjoyable . I didn’t want my food fixed I just wanted a drink that we have been waiting over 15 minutes for and the bill , The service could be a HECK of a lot better .

Took family for dinner. Enough variety for everyone. Food comes out hot and fast considering how busy it was. Server was attentive but not pushing, just the right amount of checking on us. Got my points too!
Thomas S — Google review
When going inside and ordering the food is good and service isn’t horrible but when ordering it’s a completely different story. My most recent order was the bacon-smashed hatch chile burger but it came with a 2 peppers (small) and the smallest bit of aioli. The burger was fine otherwise but definitely not what was expected. Though I also got a burger for a family member who specifically ordered it without tomato, onions, and for instead of whatever cheese was on it to be replaced with Swiss, though when we received the burgers we realized none of the stuff was removed and the cheese was wrong. I wish the ordering was a fraction as good as walking in is but it just isn’t.

There's comfort in consistency when it comes to the standards of Buffalo wild wings. I know that whether I am in Oregon, Colorado, or Michigan that I will always be impressed and wondering why I haven't returned sooner! With my trusty burger enthusiast by my side, we had great food, attentive care for my dairy allergy as well as wonderful service from the lovely Vala. Definitely a wonderful lunch date on a beautiful Michigan day.

I've dined at bdubs in several locations and always left pleased. Tonight in midland was a different story. We were greeted immediately and sat. 10 minutes later our server came quickly, very short, for our drink order only. We sat for 20 minutes before our dinner order was taken. My bar drink arrived 33 minutes into our visit. Yes I was counting at this point. Our food was decent. Service was garbage. I've worked in the restaurant industry for some years and I try to always give the benefit of doubt but this was worthy of complaining about.

Great place for wings and the sports bar atmosphere. Don't recommend using their app. The takeout seems like they use all the leftovers, and meat is dry with barely and sause. Dine in is great fresh moist meat, almost dripping with sause.
Joshua T — Google review
Me and my 3 buddies ordered 120 wings at the busiest time of the night, and they cane out super fast and were delicious. Our server was Nina, she was awesome!

D'Alessandro’s & Tuscany Banquet Hall is a charming Italian eatery that perfectly blends romance with a relaxed atmosphere. With an inviting trellised patio and an extensive wine selection, it sets the stage for delightful dining experiences. Guests rave about the mouthwatering calamari, unique Eggplant Parmesan enhanced by banana peppers, and homemade Veal Parmesan that bursts with flavor.
Absolutely the best Italian food, I don't know why I haven't been here. They have been open for a few years and I haven't been here til now. I highly highly recommend! Awesome date night will the your other half. It's relaxing romantic and they have a great wine selection.

Our food and service was amazing. We didn’t feel out of place at all with our young family of five. Our server was wonderful. She was attentive and kind. The food was quick out of the kitchen and delicious! Definitely a hidden gem.

Absolutely. Hands. Down. The best authentic Italian I have had in over two decades. We started with the Olive appetizer which combined the sweet taste of honey paired with the savory Olive tamponade topped with a lightly spicy kick. Absolutely delicious. The veal Parmesan was homemade from scratch and you can tell. Bursting with flavor and topped with sweet savory tomato sauce and bubbling browned mozzarella. The Bee Sting has a lighter tomato sauce with crispy pepperoni, hot honey and bubbling baked mozzarella on a light fluffy and crispy crust. The homemade Tiramisu finished this perfect evening out off with its rich, delicious flavors melding together that melted in my mouth. We will definitely be back to try more faves!!

Underwhelming over priced. Tried this for first time since new ownership, got right in and patio area beautiful. Ordered yellow roasted tomato bruschetta appetizer, roasted Italian bread was cold and not toasted, soggy. Place seems under staffed,as long wait between ordering and drink refills. Shrimp scampi was flavorless and had extreme amount of pasta water in dish no sides came with dish surprisingly. Chicken Parmesan dish was not seasoned well, either was the broccoli it came with. For $86 before tip, extremely disappointed. ( Yes we still tipped 20%)

From your website it shows candles, romantic setting, which was not the case. The waitress said you NEVER do candles, when asked why your website show candles she said that was from many years ago. I suggest updating your photos from the website. We were expecting Italian music to be playing in the background since you are an Italian restaurant, not modern day music. Your chicken Alfredo, needed to ask for a sharp knife to cut the chicken since it was so tough and dry. The red sauce served with the spaghetti was flavorless, tasted like a can of tomato sauce poured directly from the can. We were expecting an upscale Italian dinner based on the pictures on your website. Truly disappointed. We will not be back.

We had a lovely lunch there that was planned before our Christmas trip from NJ to Midland. I had a surprise planned for after the meal and our server Morgan went so far above and beyond that it brought tears to my eyes. We started with an order of delicate and flavorful meatballs served with piping hot bread. I love the herbed EVOO and balsamic served with the bread. Few places bring that to the table without it being requested so big win for D'Alessandro's on that gem. Our boys had a margherita and a cheese pizza (kids menu sized). They loved the cheesiness and crunchiness of the crust - you'll find no soggy pies here! We had the Lasagna and the Chicken Marsala, standard staples in any Italian Restaurant worth its salt. The lasagna was thick, rich, saucy and meaty with tender noodles and just the right amount of salt. My Marsala was exactly what one should be. The chicken was seared with a nice brown hue and the sauce was delightful, not too saucy, thick or overwhelming like we tend to find in other places. For dessert we ordered a surprisingly traditional tiramisu that rounded out the meal just right. I proposed to my now fiancee at dessert! Morgan knew about it and hid in the shadows taking pictures for us, and went above and beyond! After my fiancee said yes, she promptly arrived with a complementary cannoli plate adorned with the word Congrats, and glasses of sparkling grape juice (none of us drink alcohol). Bless her heart, she sent someone to the store to get a bottle in order to make the moment extra special! MORGAN WE LOVE YOU! D'Alessandro's will forever hold a special place in our hearts because of how far above all expectations your amazing staff went to make our afternoon the most magical experience ever.

Such a nice place and the people are lovely. The chicken was inedible and less than freshly cooked in the parm. The cheese on the Cesar was the best part of our dinner. Salmon was ok but I like it well done anyway. Maybe it was end of the day? Will try pizza once and update . Very disappointed 3 stars for the staff we met. They could get 5

We don't go out to eat very often because we are usually disappointed. After all, when you are married to the world's greatest cook who can even begin to measure up. Nevertheless, a couple of friends invited me to go here and I accepted because they are very discriminating and I figured their choice would be good. I was very impressed with the restaurant. I had been to the banquet hall many years ago for a wedding reception and was impressed although I never wrote a review, later on that. At the door we were greeted as friends rather than patrons. There is a slight difference if you know what I mean. Anyway, it made us very comfortable. We came early on Tuesday so there was hardly anyone there. The ones that had arrived earlier ordered wine, a very nice choice I might add. They have a very nice selection there. Our server was the owners granddaughter, Lilly Belle and she was a treasure. She helped us make our choices based on our preferences, which she considered very carefully before giving her opinion and offering suggestions. I would look to have her serve us again if I have a choice. I had the salmon stuffed with lobster over linguine with a white sauce. Well, I must say, it was the best! I can't wait to bring my wife back to show her what we discovered. She will be impressed.
