Masjid Raya Baiturrahman is a stunning 19th-century mosque in Banda Aceh, featuring brilliant-white walls, ebony-black domes, and a towering minaret. It is a symbol of strength and resilience for the Acehnese people. The mosque's tiled courtyard now has retractable shades for all-weather protection during prayers. Visitors can witness its magnificent architectural style reminiscent of the Taj Mahal in India. Women are required to wear headscarves when visiting.
A very beautiful mosque and very serene. Even though it's a hot day, the floor area of the mosque is not hot as they were made of marble tiles. Lots of group inside the mosque reading and memorizing the Quran. Very nice to hear the rhythm when the teachers and kids reciting the Quran. There's also the minaret which was turned into a small museum. We have to pay to get to the top floor - storey 6th and 7th to take pictures of surrounding areas. Carpark is underground and it's very spacious. This mosque was not affected by the Tsunami flood because it was built quite high about 1m high.

I'm Fallin love with this mosque. With its historical, it's really spiritual message for Islamic people.
Unfortunately the toilet are lacking maintenance and the electrical big umbrella are still under maintenance. Hope Aceh people can keep the mosque and still beautifull
All I can say is this mosque is a sign of miracle. It's a must visit place if you come to Banda Acheh. Truly a beautiful mosque with great architecture and strong structure. The mosque is huge, clean and more importantly very calmful.
A very grand and beautiful mosque. There are 2 entrances at the north and south ends of the compound. You are required to take off your footage before entering the compound and you will be given a number tag to retrieve your shoes when you are done. Must go!
tips: you need to take off your shoes before entering the mosque compound. There’s a guy who will pass you a ticket with the tray number. And you should be dressed in covered top and long pants.

The mosque blends Mughal and colonial architectural styles. Its striking black domes are made of hardwood shingles, and the interior features marble pillars, Belgian stained glass windows, and grand bronze chandeliers.
The mosque famously withstood the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. While much of Banda Aceh was destroyed, the mosque remained intact and served as a refuge for many survivors, further solidifying its importance in the hearts of the people.
During my stay in Banda Aceh, I prayed many times at Masjid Raya Baiturrahman, truly one of the most iconic and meaningful landmarks in the city. This mosque is not just a place of worship, but also a miracle of history, as it stood strong during the devastating 2004 tsunami while much of the city around it was destroyed.
The mosque is very spacious and beautiful, with stunning architecture and a peaceful atmosphere. Beneath the mosque, there’s a huge underground parking area that can hold hundreds of cars and motorcycles, which makes it very convenient for visitors.
If you’re in Banda Aceh, visiting this mosque is a must, for prayer, reflection, or simply to admire its powerful presence and history.
Masjid Raya Baiturahman is a must place to visit when you're in Acheh. There's ample parking lots in the basement. The praying Hall is really big.

Housed in a traditional building, the museum showcases various artifacts such as ceramics, weapons, clothing, jewelry, calligraphy, Islamic ornaments, and kitchen equipment. One of its notable exhibits is the Lonceng Cakra Donya bell from the 15th century.

If international travellers are part of the target to educate people, the museum must improve signage in more than just Indonesian. There are a few posts in English but international guests are mostly left to imagine from the displays or try google translate which become cumbersome.
Otherwise ot is a lovely spot to visit to get a sense of traditional archetecture and the diversity of aceh culture.
Loved the place but it lacks explanations in English. Only had displays in Bahasa. There were some albeit very few exhibitions in English.
Museum aceh is aceh library of history, you can find traditional house models in here and you can see how acehnese live their life in old time. You can also visit the exhibition of aceh artifacts and history belonging. Here you can do photoshoot and else. If you interested in doing photoshoot or find freelance photographer you can contact me.
Special experience, learning history of aceh but I think the collection is still not enough.
If you have 30-45 min to spare, go visit the museum. There isn’t much there to see, mostly basic exhibitions about the region.
Some redundency in displays but an interesting way to remind visitors of the impact of the 2004 Tsunami.

Very interesting museum with informative stories during the big Tsunami which destroyed Banda Aceh and beyond. The museum also informed of not only human who helped during the disaster but also animals like the elephants. They were hardworking. We went to all the 3 floors of the museum. Beautiful museum with some areas enclosed and others open. There's also drinks and souvenirs shop, library and other artefacts which was left behind 21yrs ago. There's many visitors so parking is difficult in the building itself, but there's another side parking area that we can park and it cost Rp5000.

Touch our hearts if you really explore this museum. Wonderful stories pertaining to the catastrophe. You may need to purchase ticket to enter the museum. Each person is Rupiah 20K for foreigners. There are 3 floors for the exhibition. Each floor full of photos describing the situation and replicas. There is also a room for you to watch the tsunami video for about 9 minutes.
Great experience when entering the place, the ambience is also great. There's still need for improvement on the audio visual room, like improving the movie, I feel like the video is outdated they need to update it.
It is a good museum with unique architecture. Different rooms are designed to depict part of the tsunami experience.

The monument itself consists of five wave-shaped buildings with inscriptions and 53 ship-shaped placards along its jogging track. This open field, adorned with shady trees, holds historical significance as it witnessed the devastating 2004 Tsunami.
One of the most places famous for jogging. You can come here for breakfast and enjoy family time. Some people is having picnic, drawing lesson, painting, many toys for kids and children. You can also play kite. Or having other sports like badminton, basket, futsal, and the others.
If you go there in Sunday. You can go Zumba and senam also. So that your heart is healty

This place is cool. You can exercise, eat, picnic in here. In the morning its exercise then when afternoon come it's become night market. But still you can exercise too. So many people exercise in afternoon instead of morning though. It's multifunction field
The only large park in town. Nice to sit and have picnic under the shades of trees. Many activities for kids (playing kites, bubbles, etc). Super crowded on sunday morning, packed with pop-up markets, food vendors, and exhibition booth (cars, mobile phone, etc you name it). Nice to go on working days, early morning, late afternoon, or in the evening.

Especially on Sunday morning, you can do many activities, including gymnastics, jogging, play several ball activities, doing taekwondo, buying many stuffs such as food, beverages, house decorations, books, furniture, or just strolling around with family. For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Museum PLTD Apung, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Ulee Lheue Beach. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Museum PLTD Apung is a poignant reminder of the destructive force of the 2004 tsunami. This former power-supply ship was carried inland by the tsunami and now stands as a monument to those who lost their lives. Visitors can explore the ship, climb aboard, and take in panoramic views of Banda Aceh from its lookouts. The ship was originally meant to provide electricity to Ulee Lhue area with 10.
Its a good place to memorize on how a tremendous things were happened at past where over than 160.000 people were killed by tsunami and for this electricity generator boat weight 2600 tons were dragged up to 5 km from the shore. However it was seems the place is not well taken care off by the management.

It's a small area where you can see the ship from outside and around the gate. This generator ship floated inwards during Tsunami 21yrs ago and still remain there. Not many people during our visit there. The carpark space is very little but there's a lot of souvenir shops around the area..

It's a museum located quite deep inside the housing area in a form Huge vessel. This is what the 2004 tsunami does to this creature. It is well maintained, changed from a shop to become a museum. A very informative insight from the proof and leftover. The view from the top is also very beautiful. You can see a mosque, a mountain and Acheh town from a far. There are many visitors come here for a visit. Also a must visit spot if you come to Banda Acheh. There are also few small souvenir shops located at the entrance of this Museum. The price is cheap and negotiable compared to what you can find in the town. The service is also good.
It is a museum for you to understand how badly the Tsunami hit this city. How powerful is the Tsunami that can bring up such a large ship ashore.
You are able to free roam or with a guide. However, becareful that some parts might not be maintained.
We spent about an hour here. The ticket price is IDR 3000 per person for foreigners. You need to do bank transfer or via QR code as no cash is allowed. The ship has 3 stages and you need to take stairs to go up. Surroundings are fenced as a historical landmark of tsunami disaster that is occurred on 26th December 2004. Most of the houses are destroyed during the tsunami.

Masjid Baitul Musyahadah, also known as Kupiah Meukeutop Mosque, is a unique and active mosque located in Banda Aceh. Its distinctive dome resembles the traditional Acehnese hat called Kupiah Meukeutop. The mosque is always bustling with various activities such as prayers, Quran recitations, and children studying iqra. Visitors can also enjoy free breakfast and coffee after the morning prayer.
Unique mosque with kupiah meukeutop looked like dome. Such a nostalgic mosque for me. And the krueng daroy park beside the river near to mosque just very relaxing and peaceful. Sometimes i rode bicycle there.

Bery active Masjid in town,, Legend too.. this old authentic roof masjid (Kupiah Meukeutop, an Acehnese traditional hat) have very busy atmosphere every time,, love to be stay in this masjid to see lot of activity like people praying, recitating the Holy Alquran, children study iqra, and so on,,

This mosque is well known for it's unique dome that resemble Acehnese men traditional hat. In the mornings there maybe holy matrimony/wedding procession took place. In the afternoon and on friday there are some street food vendor around the gate. Vast free parking area.
Known to the locals as "Masjid Kopiah Meukutop" because of its unique roof, resembling the traditional Acehnese headpiece used in special occasions, this Mosque is a sight ro behold.
Mosque facilities are also pretty good and clean.
I spent lot of time at this masjid during 2000 and 2006, i used to visit my classmates who resided here as marbot. We usually had simple dinner together after shalah isya..lot of memories left here from the past when this masjid was not yet built at this stage, beautiful and loved it, lovin it and will love it forever
I love this mosque. The mosque is clean. If you forget for bringing mukenah, you can can use mukenah there, they are clean and smell good.

Mie Razali is a renowned noodle restaurant and an iconic establishment in Banda Aceh. It is highly recommended for visitors to the city, whether on vacation or visiting family. The restaurant offers a variety of noodle dishes such as fried noodles, boiled noodles, and noodle soup, along with options like rice, martabak, cones, and various beverages.
The Famous Aceh Noodles Shop, if you wonder what its taste like , its almost the same like “chicken Noodle” with alot sauce. But not to spicy 🌶. I suggest you to order “Mie Rusa” or “Mie Daging” for the first time.
To quench your thirst, is suggested cold ice tea and “martabe” juice.
Price rate is reasonable cheap.

We are quite disappointed by the mie honestly. This is our first meal at Banda Acheh and it leave us with a low standard on foods in Acheh. The mie is just average, price is reasonable and the portion is normal. There are a lot of customers eat here and we thought it is marvelous and they are proud with their long existence history and reputation as one of the best mie in Acheh. But yeah it did reach our expectation. The service is also normal take some time for our foods to arrive. The worker is okay and the hygiene of the restaurant can be improved. The restaurant is quite okay if you want to come over and hangout or bring family. Lots of seating available here. Come on, you guys should raise your standard.

So far the best Mie Rebus Kepiting (crab), or the only place restaurant that have kepiting could serve.
Because actually as I was in Banda Aceh, I've been expecting to taste the most famous, Mie Aceh with Kepiting.
And this restaurant, Mie Razali, finally made my dream come true.
And the result turned out to be perfect as well.
They used exact the whole crab, except for the crab shell (they might not have the habit to taste it in the local context).
And what surprised me the most in the freshness of the crab.
I believe the crab before it place on the pan, it was still alive and that's the most important thing of all.

They also offered tools to crack the crab, but I was not really used to it and it turned out to be a messy.
I am more used to the one that they help crack in advance.
However, this couldn't stop me from enjoy the wonderful crab anyway.
This is the place where I tried Juice Wortel (the red carrot) for the first time.

My favorite bakery in the town. Everything's good. It's so reliable when I crave cheesecake. Beside some clerks have long face, it's perfect.
Finding a shop on net that can be trusted is a struggle because of scammers, but fortunately for me I found this shop.
I ordered a customized black forest cake and 2 halves of fudgy brownie for delivery even though I'm out of the country, they were very accommodating, answering all my queries and favors. Recommended! Will be ordering again for sure.

Putroe Phang Park is the park of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam which was founded by Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636) for his empress Putroe Phang who came from the Kingdom of Pahang. The original name of this park is Taman Ghairah as mentioned in the Bustanus Salatin book. This park was built because the sultan really loved Princess Pahang and so that the empress would not be lonely when the sultan lived the government. The construction of the park is said to have been a request from Putroe Phang, the king's daughter, who was brought to Aceh by Sultan Iskandar Muda after the conquest of the Pahang kingdom.
Inside this park, there is the Pinto Khop, a small dome-shaped gate that is the door that connects the garden to the palace. Pinto Khop is a place to rest for Princess Phang, after being tired of swimming, it is located not far from Gunongan, where the ladies wash her hair. There is also a pond for the empress to wash her hair and take a flower bath.
Taman Putroe Phang adalah taman Kerajaan Aceh Darussalam yang didirikan oleh Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636) untuk permaisurinya Putroe Phang yang berasal dari Kerajaan Pahang. Nama asli taman ini adalah Taman Ghairah sebagaimana disebutkan di dalam kitab Bustanus Salatin. Taman ini dibangun karena sultan sangat mencintai Putri Pahang dan agar sang permaisuri tidak kesepian bila di tinggal sultan menjalankan pemerintahan. Di dalam taman ini terdapat Pinto Khop yaitu gerbang kecil berbentuk kubah yang merupakan pintu yang menghubungkan taman dengan istana. Pinto Khop ini merupakan tempat beristirahat Putri Phang, setelah lelah berenang, letaknya tidak jauh dari Gunongan, di sanalah dayang-dayang membasuh rambut sang permaisuri. Di sana juga terdapat kolam untuk sang permaisuri keramas dan mandi bunga.

A good place to explore. Taman sari in Aceh is like Taman Sari in Yogyakarta. They were used by king and his wife for their happy time.
Nothing much to see, just a mausoleum and small hill. The wonder of it is the playhill was using egg white as the glue.

Visited Masjid Baiturrahim in Ulee Lheue, Aceh just before Zuhur prayer, and wow—it was super hot! The sun was blazing, and I could feel the heat bouncing off the pavement, but honestly, it didn’t take away from how beautiful and peaceful this place felt.
This mosque is famous for surviving the 2004 tsunami when everything around it was destroyed. Standing there, knowing what the mosque had been through, gave me goosebumps. Despite the heat, I took my time to appreciate the architecture and the calm atmosphere. Inside, it was cooler and quiet—such a nice break from the heat outside.
I’m really happy I made the visit. Even though I was sweating buckets, the experience was still worth it. The spiritual vibe, the strong historical presence, and the simplicity of the mosque all made it so special. There’s something about being in a place with that much history and faith that just fills you with peace.
If you’re in Aceh, don’t skip this mosque—even if it’s hot out! Bring an umbrella or just brave the sun like I did—you won’t regret it. Alhamdulillah for this meaningful stop in my journey.

I still remember 17 years ago when I came to this place a week after the Tsunami that devastated Aceh, including this beautiful beach. Now Ulee Lheue has become a favorite place by local residents for leisure, especially in the afternoon until dusk or Maghrib prayer. The view during sunset is really amazing when the position of the sun is between the end hills of Bukit Barisan.
The sea waves are not big because the beach is surrounded by breakwaters. So we can take a walk along the white sandy beach, swim or enjoy a duck paddle ride with our partner, family or friends. There are also culinary outlets where the prices for food and drinks are inexpensive.
What needs to be fixed here are the problem of garbage everywhere and the orderliness of the vehicle parking.

This shop sells excellent coffee: Kopi Sanger, commonly found in most shops. It's a passable place for food, but food was not from this shop. Had mee aceh and sate matang. Need to order sides to take with the noodles, although they tasted nice, practically just stir fried noodles with soy sauce and some vegetables. I do like the sate Matang, relatively like satay in Malaysia. However, the meat pieces are rather small. Another is sate Padang, I do not fancy these as the sauce is quite sweet and not much spices. The tables are very old style, nostalgic.
To all coofeeholics, heaven to you all. Relatively expensive but they served nice and fragrance roasted coffee here - choices of robusta and arabica. I tried the pea berry - which is the coffee with strongest caffeine. While pea berry sengar is coffee with a bit of milk. Depends on your preference, you can choose from light to strongest, black to milk coffee and tea here. I bet you will love it!

I came to this place with my colleague s and friends in Banda Aceh. This is the last day of the cultural event, where each region of Aceh represents, for every five year. That means I am pretty luck to be able to come here and experience it myself for such an event. I find it pretty interesting since it bring different cultural events and objectives, goods and products from different regions of Aceh. Which this kind of activities we now found very rare in Taiwan. The dance performance was super attracting. And the food and coffee, gayo coffee, are the most comforting as always. Today is the last day and today is the closing. You should not miss any chance to visit it! Go! Go! Go! Now.
Banda Aceh does not really have many parks. Unlike others this one is not too crowded, unless an event is being held there. That is the plus point. Other than that, meh.

Lampuuk Beach, once a thriving tourist destination in Aceh, suffered greatly from the 2004 Tsunami. However, it is now making a comeback with new accommodations and attractions. This sandy beach is perfect for surfing and water sports, offering boat and board rentals. Visitors can enjoy banana boat rides, surfing, and even visit a local turtle conservation center. The beach also serves as a hub for tourists in Banda and offers beautiful views along its gently-curving shoreline.

Actually I've went here for around 2 to three times and this is my visit together with Amanda, Ivy, and Angela.
And this is also my first time, really dig into that water, that amazing sea.
It's so fun and the waves are so amazing!
It's a really pleasant afternoon and the temperature of the sea water is just as fine and cooling.
However, I could feel the wind and also the waves which I never experienced before.
But it was just a much of fun and I was so busy swimming here and there.
There's also banana boat on the sea where you could pay for several rides.
However, you could just swim and enjoy the heavenly like beach and the sea.
And of course, if stay in one of the shelter, you must order some grilled fish or shrimp, for a taste.
It's the best of the world.
The beach is located inside of the city so not really far from the center of the city. It was pretty clean cause not many people come to this beach though it was a peak season. One of the best part going to this beach is if you are lucky enough, your way will blocked by herd of cows and it is kinda fun seeing those cows blocked the way.
Hands down the best beach with the most "luxurious" vibes i've ever been to. Really hope i get to come back with my family again someday!
This beach is awesome. It is a public beach with a private beach feels. Not too crowded with a clear tosca water and the waves is friendly. The view is nice with a hills and rock mountain. The facilities such as toilet and restaurant is available nearby and it only cost you 3000 rupiah to get into this gems. About 30 menit from banda aceh

My favorite beach so far. White sand, clear blue water, and fantastic view. The first time I came here was 2008, 4 years after the Tsunami. There was nothing here as far I remember, only bushes and pine trees.
But now, they have several facilities related to tourism; small wooden gazebos where you can enjoy freshly grilled fish, prayer room, restroom. Even though it is still minimal, I definitely will come again.

The "Boat on the Roof" is a significant landmark in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, serving as a haunting reminder of the devastating tsunami that struck in December 2004. This 20-ton fishing boat, measuring 25 meters long and 5.5 meters wide, was carried by the tsunami wave and landed on top of a family's house in Lampulo.

A boat has been parked on top of a house's roof since 2004 tsunami happened in Indonesia. The boat is sort of a small ship with 59 people on board it by the time of the incident, sadly not everyone managed to survive.
This boat on the roof of a house saved a number of tsunami survivors. The lady who was there told us of how the boat saved her life. Her house was also wiped out. The boat was in a jetty out at sea but somehow came and rested on the roof of this house which belongs to a director of an oil company. The owner also survived but stayed in Medan. The boat served as a reminder of the disaster that befell 21 yrs ago. There's a remembrance wall of the names of the people who died during tsunami 2004 in Aceh.
It lies at Banda Aceh.
The history of this boat is that it happened during big tsunami hit Aceh.
You can see how strong the house is.
The eyewitness, Mak Kolak, will be happy to describe that tragedy.

Such a memorial place, this huge boat stuck above the people houses and remain until now. One of the house owner managed to survive and able to tell us their life stories that happened on tsunami day. There is a souvenir shop at the entrance of the area, it has become their income sources to build their economy.

This is a tiny piece of heaven in a remote location in Aceh Besar. You can reach this place by boat (if you dare enough and have a strong gut to face the dangerous Aroih Cut stream) or by mountainous foothpath which takes you about 45 minutes from Ujong Pancu. The place is like satay resto as usual..very clean and cozy to hang out with friends. Compare with javanese satay..I think satay matang too pricey and the size is too small just a typical kind of satay around Aceh province. You will paid 25k idr/portion satay matang plus white rice and soup. Lamb satay is better than beef satay and also peanuts sambal will provide separately.
I ended up here because it was the most crowded stall in the area, so I expect the food must be good. They gave us four plate for each person, consists of: satay (beef or lamb), peanut sauce, beef soup, and steamed rice. I reccomend you to choose lamb satay than beef satay, because it tasted better. The satay itself is already tastes good without adding the peanut sauce. Will definitely back when I am in Aceh!

I, like others, enjoyed the view of this place. It was truly charming.
The only issue was that their beds had bed bugs. The room we stayed in was the very last one on the slopes, attached a picture so you can be sure to avoid it. Agree the toilet and shower can be improved.

Stayed here for 2 days the accommodation is quite old traditional which is good. The food is ok I enjoyed the chicken burger. The location is amazing fresh wind if you can't speak bahasa you might have trouble communicating but all round good stay staff friendly and alot of passing locals go there for food and to take pictures. So unfortunately not as private as I would like here some photos of my stay there.

They have an amazing place but they don't take care about it.... It's all dirty, lots of plastics, straws, plastic cups and other trashes. The water smells very bad and we even had the great pleasure to don't have water anymore just before we left to the airport. Furthermore, at 7h no one was there to serve us the breakfast (breakfast we ordered with the owner the night before). Everything is dirty, the bungalows are not maintained at all, the matress and the pillows are horrible...
For 350k IDR basically it's not worth it. It's not like this that we should treat costumers.
Go green, really Sari, please don't destroy this place.
This bungalow is provided for the one who want to experience living nearby the sea shore. The voice of the ocean and the wonderful view of sunset will make Aceh as a memorable place to travel to.

my experience in this place is the taste of chicken steak is just average, and the most shocking me is when i order a&w ice cream, i thought that i will get an ice cream with A&W flavour but in reality i got ice cream that poured with can A&W soda
The 'Mie Saus' is actually yellow noodle with black pepper sauce which is made not as thick as for the steak. On the other hand, the steak uses a different kinda of sauce. Unfortunately, the taste of the steak doesn't go well with me and I would opt for the Mie Saus if I were to hi there again. This place offers desserts as well but I didn't try as I don't have sweet tooth.

If you want to take this meal to other region or country or somewhere far, do not hesitate to tell them, they will separate the soup for you
The main course and beverages taste really good and the prices are considerably cheap enough. But its space is kind of small though, so it'll be a bit hard to get your own table especially when it's lunch time.
Worth trying to say you have experienced the place but nothing amazing.

Good place to relax and chill, especially under the tree. Can be reached through the main road but locals said it is not suggested for women go there by themselves during the weekday, I mean when only few tourists go there. Or, people can do a bit tracking from pantai pasir putih.

This is a historic place. You can see two ruins of house that was built around 700 years ago, a fort for military defense, and a ruin of walled compound that may be a mosque in the past.

Located around 20km north of Banda Aceh, the site of Indra Patra Fortress contains several structures. The oldest of the structures date to the 7th century and were built by the Hindu Lamuri Kingdom. The second, larger fortress measures 70 x 70 meters, and was built in the early 17th-century during the reign of Iskandar Muda, the sultan of Acèh Darussalam. The second fortification served to protect Banda Aceh from the expanding Portuguese Empire.
The walls of the forts are made out of limestone, and testing has shown that they contain high levels of calcium. A third fort is also present at the site, but is in disrepair

The Tomb of Syiah Kuala, located in Banda Aceh, is the resting place of Teungku Syekh Abdurrauf As Singkily, a prominent Muslim scholar and leader from the era of Sultan Iskandar Muda. Born in 1615 in Singkil, he spent 19 years studying in Egypt, Mecca, and Medina. Visitors have reported experiencing inexplicable phenomena at the tomb and encountering 'khodam,' spiritual entities believed to reside there.

When I went to Aceh, this tomb is not at my list of visiting. But afterwards this tomb became my first visit during my holiday in Aceh. So im planning to visit nearby tourism place, but get lost to this tomb. Miracle happened
I'm not Moslem. When I go pray to my religion, I got insight to take one of the small rock (yeah this is actually prohibited), then give charity on the complex 50k rupiah.
Firstly i took one small rock. Then thinking why should I gave 50k, too much. But.... At the end I gave 50k as well.

Then after 4 months. I got disease, I go to doctor but comes out of nothing. My body go more sick. At one night when I go pray, it is visible again on my pray the one whose I looked when I pray at Syeikh kuala tomb. He wear white t-shirt, use surban.. he said take the small rock you have taken before.
After I take , I put on my hand, then pray to my God. Suddenly slowly but sure (takes time 3 days) my body get well again. And when I hold the rock, the rock very warm, meanwhile outside is cold.
Believe it or not. But this is by the grace by God Allah through Syeikh Kuala.
I promise to visit the tomb once again and give more support.

Beautiful beach, but unfortunately it is very dirty. Local community, or investors, must take over the management of the area so that it looks morr professional. This is the only beach which is in close proximity to anywhere in Banda Aceh. Hopefully it is much improved in the future.
With the black and brown sand, this place is a good place to enjoy the beach scenery especially in the morning.
First of all, the beach is not intended for visit. There is no convenient access (such as stairs or walkways) to it. This beach is not maintained at all. Cow dungs are everywhere making it an irksome place to bring family members. The putrid dung smells are always in the air. The steep beach is also exposed directly to the open sea, which is not safe for children, while the significant waves rendered the seawater murky. This is ultimately "poorman's destination"

One of my favorite spots in Banda Aceh! The pizza here is consistently delicious with great flavor, and they also offer a nice variety of quality food beyond just pizza. I’ve been a happy regular for the past 4 years, and it never disappoints. Now you can find several Brano food stalls also in nearby coffee shops. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for good pizza in town!

Brano pizzeria is the closest thing to a classic Italian restaurant in Banda Aceh. The interior of the place contains brick pillars with a combination of yellow painted walls. With the food coming relatively quick, I was quick to notice its puffy crust, proving itself to come from a pizaa oven which is a positive, anywhere. The taste did not disappoint, or at least from the brisket and pepporoni
If you are looking for authentic stone baked pizza this is the place you need to experience. The taste of the pizzas were great. I personally had pizza with tuna topping, i know its not the most common of pizza toppings but if an unpopular pizza tastes wonderful i am sure the rest of the pizzas are awesome. The store front is a normal looking store but the back is different, it feels like eating out in the wild companied with firewood stacked wall. This shows the different atmosphere and vibe this store brings. The service is not perfect but it can be improved. When i came tissue box was empty and some eating utensils were not brought out for people who choose not to eat with their hands. Other than that i have no complain about this restaurant. Oh and if you don't mind paying a little bit extra for a large pizza, you need to have a taste these stone baked pizzas. 9/10

Came to Indonesia and saw this restaurant and wanted to take a try.
I came with my friends. I stepped in the kitchen, the peasants smell made me wanted to having my dinner here. The environment is great, well-decorated and nice.
The foods and other savoury victuals were great. The beverages were also tasty and got a lot of choice. The foods hot, spicy and the meat was crispy. It's delicious though
The services here are friendly but inexperienced. One staff nearly spill the drinks we ordered and luckily he managed to safe it though. The facilities here are great as well. The washroom not too clean but other than that not bad.
The price is really cheap I swear. Couldn't described too much but higly recommend this place!

I went to this place once for a university alumni gathering and dinner, a few month ago. On that day we experienced electricity blackout several times. Even though the restaurant has their own backup generator, they could not cope with the long blackout. Anyway, the food is excellent. Stir fry, grilled fish and other dishes are delicious. I am sure a great chef is behind all these delicious menus.

Nice, clean restaurant with AC! Food was delicious! We tried several different dishes form the shrimp fritters to fried noodles with shrimp, a spicy beef dish and a crab dish. Very good! Food came out quickly. Everybody was happy and full!
Great food. Had black pepper crab, pineapple fried rice, vegetables with seafood and many drinks. All tasted amazing. Will come back again soon. Highly recommend with reasonable price
