Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Underwater World Langkawi is a massive aquarium in Malaysia, boasting over 200 marine and freshwater species. Visitors can immerse themselves in the underwater world through an underwater tunnel and a 3D theater. The park spans nearly six acres and offers various attractions such as the Seashell Display, Koi Pond, and a new building showcasing Tropical Rainforest, Temperate, and Sub-Antarctic Ecosystems.
One of the city's main attraction in middle of market, easily accessible and well maintained. Ticket is easily available online and offline both. Many species are there to view and are very beautifully managed. Special feeding session are there as per schedule which are must to enjoy. In certain area, you need to pay attention to identify the one.
Mohit A — Google review
Langkawi Underwater World is one of the main highlights on the island. It features a wide variety of sea life, giving visitors a close-up look at many fascinating marine creatures. Beyond that, you can also see penguins, otters, flamingos, and parrots. Overall, it’s a nice place to visit when in Langkawi. The only downside is that the ticket price is on the higher side — hopefully locals can enjoy better rates to further promote tourism in Langkawi.
Joon T — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful experience at Underwater World Langkawi! The place is clean, well-maintained, and full of marine life. The tunnel section with sharks and stingrays was really amazing. It’s a great place for families and travelers to learn and enjoy together. I saw the lady mermaid dancing show also. Its very attractive. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Langkawi!
Uditha A — Google review
A truly beautiful place! 🌿 We didn’t expect to see so many different species and for the whole complex to be designed so nicely. You walk through a jungle with parrots flying around, then move on to various sections with different animals. The highlight is definitely the two tunnels – one where you can see penguins and another with a mix of large fish.
Bett H — Google review
Overall, my visit to Underwater World Langkawi was enjoyable, and it's a well-maintained attraction. If you have never been to a large aquarium before, you will likely be very impressed by the variety of marine animals and the fantastic underwater tunnel. Seeing sharks and giant stingrays swim over your head is a great experience. The penguin section was also a fun highlight. However, the main issue is the price. The entrance fee of RM 60 for foreigners feels very high for what is offered. While the experience is good, it is not spectacular enough to justify this cost, especially when compared to other attractions in Langkawi or even larger aquariums in other parts of the world. Verdict: If you are new to this kind of attraction and don't mind the cost, you will have a good time. But for seasoned travellers or those on a budget, the RM 60 ticket price is not worth the money. You could likely spend that money on a more unique Langkawi experience.
Sapna J — Google review
It’s a superb underworld with a lots of under world species. Many kinds of jelly fish, penguins, sharks and many more. They have an artificial tropical forest inside which makes it more fun to explore. Highly recommended for under world species lovers.
Malik A — Google review
If you like otters 🦦- come here :) they are so cute! It’s a great place to see many underwater creatures! Nothing exceptional if you have been to other underwater parks, but for an island of this size it’s quite nice. You can buy ticket online but we can in the morning around 11 and was no queue so we bought tickets on the spot. There are also sharks and jelly fish, and funny penguins 🐧.
Veronika J — Google review
Underwater World Langkawi is a great place for kids! We visited recently, and our favorite part was definitely the penguins 🐧. The entry fee for international tourists is a bit high, but it’s worth visiting if you have children. Plus, it’s just a short walk from Cenang Beach!

Nestled in the heart of Langkawi, Palm View Seafood Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that offers an intriguing menu featuring not only fresh seafood but also unique dishes like ostrich and deer. Diners rave about the generous portions and flavorful options, including standout items such as ginger and onion fish, stir-fried scallops with vegetables, and a delicious oyster omelette. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate its bustling atmosphere.
The staff are very kind and friendly. Also, it is a good place to enjoy Chinese style sea food. The taste was really nice and the food price was reasonable. Personally recommend this restaurant.

Food are small portion but high price and not tasty. This meal cost me RM250, even 2 girl can finish 5dish and still feel hungry . Can you imagine how small is the portion. Prawn fried until very hard, rice is so hard and crunchy too. So many T&C ,if you order sotong but you want salted egg flavour you need to order medium size portion, and crab if you want two flavour or either you choose big size crab which is 1kg then you can do 2 flavour. Add on one ridiculous paying method, I have have 200 cash and asking whether I can pay 200cash and 50 by card, but the women say cannot, and I ask why she can’t answer just say cannot. Is a very bed experience, don’t ever go there go a seafood! !
Yuki Y — Google review
A very unfortunate and unprofessional experience because the rice was clearly crunchy and they refused to listen to me and said this is the authentic way. When I asked to speak to the chef they said the chef went home and they r just heating up food - SO WHY AM I PAYING A RIDICULOUS PRICE FOR REHEATRD FOOD? simply stupid,Ordered Siapkap they brought talapia.,The omelette was edible.
Thieveanthiran T — Google review
The seafood dishes are small portion and didn't taste good. The oyster egg had only 5 small oysters, its the most stingy one I have eaten in my whole life. Kong pao mantis prawn also super small and tasted too sweet, like unauthentic chinese takeaway from western countries. On the other hand, the Singapore fried vermicelli noodles and vegetables (kai lun) were very good. It is quite strange for a seafood restaurant to do badly in seafood but well in non-seafood. Price was quite affordable for the area.
Soon C — Google review
The food is good. 14 of us 9 adult and 5 children. The sizzling tofu got a small presentation so delightful. Fish is fresh. Thai style fried chicken is good.
Vivian N — Google review
Efficient service. But we didn't understand why they seemed really rushed as it wasn't busy. I guess maybe they were just getting prepared for the onslaught of customers later in the evening. (We were there at 6pm.) Food were so-so. Average and standard compared to the similar M'sian-Chinese run seafood restaurants. But it's a good place to have a nice, quick dinner before or after a good walk along the strip for actual or window shopping. Or a stroll along the beach.
Justine L — Google review
Had teochew steamed fish, fried squid and stir fried kangkung for two pax. Bill came up to RM100 which is reasonable, considering the quality and portion of the food. Seafood is fresh, strongly recommend the fried squid, crispy and juicy. Parking is a great challenge though.
Joanne L — Google review
It is a seafood restaurant. As I'm not from East Asia, it considered strange seafood rather than what I use ro eat.however all were good, service was OK, and prices were fair enough. I ordered fried rice, fried squads, and fried prawns.

One of the best spots for a beer and western food in Langkawi. Everything was very nice, we had a lovely view of the beach at night. The staff was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. It has a nice vibe. Desserts are also very tasty. Highly recommended. Closed on Tuesdays!

The best vibe on this beach. Amazing hospitality, incredible shisha (probably one of the best we had), good drinks and family friendly. The feeling of sand in your feet while relaxing in comfortable seating, enjoying great food with music that just the right decibel to keep up the energy but allow conversations.

Highly don’t recommend. Please think twice or more before visit this cafe. The food was dry and looks like ready made maybe in the morning? After we ordered not even 10mins all the food is served…. The chicken was so dry and their grilled chicken wings is so so cold…. Feels like it doesn’t even reheat before serve…. Disappointing

You have to come here for the vive. It's close to the sea. We came here very late to celebrate my son's birthday. Lucky that we got the food. Thanks to the French Manager. Food was great. The chicken patty in the burgar was too thick to consume in whole. We also tried the pizza, salmon fish, prawn plater and chips - all the meals were good, can't say great. But we enjoyed the time a lot. 😄😄❤️❤️

We had dinner at this fine restaurant on the last evening of our holiday to Malaysia. And what an experience this was! We had a warm welcome from the lovely staff and had a nice table with a very nice view at the beach/sea and the sunset. We ordered a wild mushroom soup as an appetizer which was very nice. And for the main course we ordered a fresh lobster and a fresh Red Snapper. What a delight that was. Both where prepared perfectly and the Red Snapper was as fresh as it could be! We got a fresh fruit plate from the house and even got a bottle of wine because it was our last vacation day! We want to thank the warmfull staff again for the very nice dinner we had here and for the nice experience. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here after making a reservation almost 2 weeks advance to visit my girl birthday. Noted have been written and informed but the restaurant didn’t even acknowledge anything at all. They couldn’t care less though as many overseas tourist been coming here compared to previously Has menu changes in terms of seafood now by weight gram set and there are many choices compared to back then. Prices has increased but the kid’s menu still remains Food was good and the view was great as usual during sunset, however the day that we went on 2 April the weather was moody and has not sunset to see though Total bill for 2 adults and 1 kid and baby @ RM 247.50 which was reasonable priced for the environment.

The food was average for the price they charge. It was very spicy so you couldn’t tell other taste. We got the pad Thai with fried shrimp, there were only 2 pieces of shrimp and in the pad Thai there was blue egg, which was odd. The Tom yum tasted good but not like an authentic Tom yum. The mango sticky rice was ok. A bit pricey for what they offer. The staff form the bar was very friendly tho.

Been here many times in the last 10 years or so for happy hours & snacks. First time for dinner. Asian food was just average. Good service by the staff though. What makes this place special is the views & the sound of waves. Its just amazing

Just got back to our hotel after THE best meal of our trip. The food was really excellent.....tip notch, but what made the night was our host. What an incredible man. An older guy ( sorry, we should've got his name).... He recommended certain foods and the pairing of the wines and how much we would need etc. He took photos of us at sunset and joked around with us about football. He's a Man Utd fan...but we didn't hold that against him. Honestly, we would recommend this restaurant not just for the food but for this guys amazingly attentive service. Please visit The Cliffe!

Nice seaside view and come at 6pm for the sunset. Local delights are not good. Avoid Mee Goreng and fried rice, we didn't finish them. The western taste better and kids love them.

Seafood restaurant
Putumayo Restaurant is a popular choice along the touristy strip in Langkawi, known for its open-air terrace that creates a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, perfect for enjoying afternoon Tiger beers. The restaurant stands out for its excellent service and inviting ambiance. For those seeking an evening dining experience, Red Sky is another option nearby, offering a variety of curries. However, Putumayo's atmosphere and service make it a standout choice.
We had an amazing dinner at Putumayo Langkawi. The restaurant offers a perfect combination of great food, beautiful ambiance, and attentive service. The seafood was incredibly fresh – we tried the salt & pepper squid, Indonesia butter chicken , Malaysia kangkung, Malaysia satay , homemade pumpkin bean curd and Thai-style king prawn , all cooked to perfection with rich flavors. The presentation of each dish was elegant, and the portion sizes were just right. What I really liked was the atmosphere: cozy yet stylish, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a great place to enjoy dinner with family, friends, or even for a romantic night out. The staff were very welcoming, polite, and always ready to recommend dishes. For the quality of food and service, the price is very reasonable compared to other restaurants in Langkawi. Definitely one of the best seafood dining experiences on the island, and I would highly recommend Putumayo to anyone visiting Langkawi.

We had such a lovely dinner here last night! The spring rolls were light and crispy, and the grilled fish with vegetables was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Will surely get back here for great food and wonderful service!

I am a restaurant manager by vocation so I’m extremely critical. This is 5 star hospitality, Rebecca and her team looked after us like regulars from the second we stepped into the restaurant from the first meal to our return. We had squids & crab the first night, chicken satay & clay pot grouper the second time. Great cocktails, at a very reasonable price. It was monsoon season and Rebecca gave us a lift back to our hotel after dinner. I really have nothing but good things to say about Putumayo; great experiences, thank you!

I wanted a BBQ by sea side and my little princess wanted to have prawn or lobstar. I searched by sea side but at that day it was not available. Then one shopkeeper named yhe putumayo restaurent...I looked in to my google map and found the restaurent. Went there and found the live fishes.I choose some king prawn and fried rice...The restaurent was a very well known restaurent. They had a fird few yr ago.then they re built it.It is owned by a chainese owner. And inside the restaurent i found a gem ornament shop. So.if you want to gift your beloved a memorable unique gift it may be an option.the food was fresh and well cooked.there service was good and the decoration was also good.It was not too much crowded place when i visited. Its a good place to have a dinner. But yes check out the price of food before ordering....

We had dinner at Putomayo Langkawi and ordered the salted egg prawn, spicy pepper squid, and kangkong belacan. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing — the salted egg prawn was too saucy and lacked real salted egg flavour, the squid was tough, and the kangkong belacan was overly salty. On a positive note, the restaurant itself is very clean and nicely presented, but the prices are on the higher side considering the small portions. Overall, not a very good dining experience.

This is a real treat. We experienced picking a large mud crab out of the tank, then freshly cooked and delivered to the table where the waiter was so friendly and accommodating. They help remove the meat from the crab as without the knowledge and skills is quite a task. We ordered Salted Egg Crab, Fried Squid, rice and some cocktails. The experience we had was well worth what we paid. If you are looking to treat yourselves then definitely pay this a visit. The staff and atmosphere make this a brilliant place to enjoy an evening.

Warung Janggus Ikan Bakar BBQ offers affordable pricing for their delicious menu items. A serving of rice costs RM 1,50, an eggplant is priced at RM 2, while chicken and fish are available for RM 4 and RM 6 respectively. The restaurant provides excellent customer service and a warm welcome to its patrons. The food served is flavorful and satisfying. However, there were some issues with the preparation of the browns as they were not cooked properly.
Great food. Slightly length waiting time as most of the ordered dishes arrive at the same time. Variety of cooking styles but grilled "bakar" is the best as the food comes with a special spicy dipping sauce.

Seafood was not fresh, food takes a long long time to be served & staff service was very slow. Only plus point was the food tasted considerably better than most of other shops in cenang area. Price wise is normal for a tourist area.

I'm usually not one to be fussy with food, but this restaurant (if you can call it that) has truly crossed the line. First off, the service here is horrible and one of the worst I have ever experienced. It took quite some time and effort just to get the attention of one of the staff to take our order. We then proceeded to wait for what felt like ages for our food to arrive. Whenever we asked any of the staff about our order, they would either gesture us to wait or simply ignore us. What really pushed me over the edge was when 2 other larger pax-sized tables, who came to the restaurant AFTER us, had received their food before we did. After almost an hour, our food finally arrived. When I mentioned to the staff who served us about how long it took, there was no reaction or any explanation from her. Not even a word of sorry. As for the food itself, it must have been 5 star quality for how long it took to be prepared, right? Dead wrong. The food was bang average, and on the borderline of being terrible. The meat was tough and dry, the kangkung was tasteless and the tomyam soup was nothing special. What a waste of time and money, I would not recommend this place to any sane person. I would rather eat dirt from the street than to go through that stressful ordeal again.
Jonathan L — Google review
This was my 2nd visit in which the 1st one was in Jan 2014 and it seems nothing much difference. It is a Malay seafood restaurant moderately priced. My wife ordered her favourite sotong goreng tepung (Fried squid covered with wheat flour I think if you say it in English). The squid was so and so and the flour didn't really stick to the squid as how a good chef normally cooks. The main problem here was looking for a parking space and we managed to squeeze out little rented car just right in front of the restaurant. You have to be patience during weekends or major holiday unless you come with a driver :) If you are a foreigner, this is a good place to taste local dishes. Watch out for a spicy set because some of you can not really handle chille hot food. This is always a good choice for local Malay tourists!!!

Cenang Beach Food Truck Area is a vibrant and colorful spot located near the night market, offering a variety of quick bites from late afternoon until midnight. The food trucks serve up delicious options such as Char Kueh Tiaw, Nasi Lemak Ayam, Nasi Tomato, Cucur Udang, stir fry dishes, skewers, noodle soup, burgers, fruits and drinks. Visitors can also find a breakfast stall that opens in the morning.
One of the best night markets I have been in Malasia. Foods are not pricy and taste good. Highly recommend coconut water served at the very entrance of this area.

I just found this place frustrating. The queues and the time to get served is way too long. After waiting 30 minutes for fried rice, I left. It's overly busy for standard makan food that you can get anywhere. There are better places.

The bakso place (storefront not a truck) is delicious and great service! Would definitely go back there again. Great price/value and delicious broth! But the malaysian store at the very end has horrible service and average food. Got two orders wrong, didn't have an item we ordered but never told us so we were waiting expecting it to come out for over 30mins (while the place was very quiet) and they didn't care at all when we askwd about it; meanwhile the manager/owner was just eating & talking during the whole ordeal. Waste of time and money.

The brightly lit and colourful night market is a sight to behold. There are various kinds of food and juices sold in makeshift stores in trucks that are parked from 5 pm until midnight everyday. Since we are vegetarian, we only tried juices and had tender coconut water. Fresh juice and milkshake is prepared from fruits that are displayed in plastic containers. One can ask them to not add sugar or ice. There are some vendors selling juice and coconut water in cups of different sizes priced accordingly, but they have sugar and ice added in them beforehand.

Goreng-goreng tasty stir fry in Langkawi, opens late at night, 8pm sometimes later. There's also a breakfast stall that opens at 8am in the morning. It's popular among the locals. You ask for a box of rice then grab whatever you like. At night time there will be approximately 10 food trucks open. Ranging from stir fry, skewers, noodle soup, burgers, fruits and drinks. There are good varieties. Overall it's worth checking out.

Open Every day. 6.30 PM. to 12 pm. A very welcome find. Very delicious and cheap *** I especially recommend the very last place (at the end, only 30 seconds in). Her name is Ina, lovely friendly lady. *** Try the Rendang (slow cooked coconut curry, not spicy, usually quite difficult to find) *** beef (one of the very best I have had in 30 years👌) and chicken. Lots of other choice also including clams (sell fast), prawns, fish, other curries eg chicken, mixed veggies, ... Very delicious and cheap *** Take time to sit down and enjoy 👌 Really nice vibe🙌🙏😊

Limited choices but surprisingly not bad taste wise. The satay (chicken meat on a stick) from Sham Satay Kelibang and Kuey Teow Kerang (flat rice noodle with cockles) were quite tasty. Price is reasonable for a tourist area.

Thai restaurant
Malaysian restaurant
Warung DE Cenang, formerly known as Warung Pak Tam Corner, is a highly recommended restaurant for those seeking the best dinner options in Pantai Cenang, Langkawi. This eatery offers a variety of delicious dishes at affordable prices. Visitors have enjoyed menu items such as nasi goreng cina, telur bungkus, sup ekor, and tomyam.
This is hands down the best restaurant in Langkawi! A true hidden gem, mostly frequented by locals with just a few lucky tourists who happen to find it. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and family-oriented, making you feel right at home. The dishes are flavorful and served in generous portions, perfect for sharing. A special mention goes to the Green Tea with Milk – absolutely delicious and a must-try. An unforgettable spot if you want to experience the real taste of Langkawi!
Merwane G — Google review
This might be one of the cheapest places you will find near Pantai Cenang. The dishes are from RM 6 only, and all local foods, which are nicely seasoned. The place is opened in the afternoon and there is always a queue there so please be warned, or you can order take away to avoid long waiting time. Once seated, the waiting time for the dishes to come is around 20 mins. I ordered squid salad and stir fried morning glory, with the side of white rice. Everything was really nice and fresh. The lemonade tea was quite okay too.
Phat N — Google review
I saw a lot of people eating, so I also gave it a try. The food is affordable, and there's nothing fancy about the vibes or ambiance—just a place to enjoy cheap but delicious food. The sweet and sour fish is delicious, and so is the seafood soup, though the fried squid isn't.

This is my 3rd visit where i felt I must do a review cuz they totally deserve it . For the price I pay the tast4 and quantity we get is unbelievable, i come here from Kuala Lumpur where the prices are higher than this and there is no quality or quantity or the cheaper price this particular shop charge us . An inland / tourist place mostly tries to loot you ,however this particular one is cheaper yet tastier and give some good quantity food. I lost the track of people I've referrfed this restaurant to.

After days of searching, I’ve finally discovered a place that truly satisfies my taste buds! Highly recommended—the food here is absolutely delicious. The kangkung stir-fried with garlic was incredibly fragrant . Paired with their Pattaya fried rice, it was a match made in heaven—absolutely top-notch! If you’re craving authentic, tasty meals, this is the place to go. A must-try!

I came here because I always skip the touristy restaurants and genuinely want to support the locals 100%. I’ve been traveling through Asia for quite a while now, and I think this might be the most unfriendly restaurant I’ve encountered. The gentleman was very kind, but the two women serving were really not. I ordered the nasi goreng Pattaya, and unfortunately, it wasn’t tasty at all — the chicken was dry and disappointing. Tea was delicious.
Marlies M — Google review
Flavours not amazing and chicken was delivered cold, but very cheap. When we told staff they took it away and brought back the same piece microwaved. Menu is also confusing.

Warung is a malay restaurant with various malay food items aka nasi items....Interior and ambience was okay but after the evening its too crowded...Almost we ate here for 3 nights continuously and must say that some items are good enough but some items are totally tasteless...Their drinks items are also tasty but not fully worth it cause they use too much ice in their drinks...Staffs are polite and can understand and communicate in english...Had a good eating experience here...

Duty free store
Candy store
Coco Valley Sdn Bhd, located in Pantai Cenang near Underwater World, is a haven for chocolate enthusiasts. The store offers an extensive range of cocoa products and a diverse selection of wines, whiskeys, and champagnes. Thanks to Langkawi's duty-free policy, the chocolates available here are notably more affordable than elsewhere in Malaysia. Visitors can indulge in well-known chocolate brands from around the world, making it a convenient one-stop shop for all things chocolate.
Coco Valley is perhaps the most popular duty free shop on the island. Nicely located, right next to the Underwater world, plenty of parking space. And obviously great choices of perfumes, glasses, household items. Choices of drinks, chocolates and souvenirs too.
Oleksandr K — Google review
Coco Valley provides a large number of sweet things of all kinds in a separate choclate department. Additonallly You can find articles of daily use like pans and a lot of ceramics from cups to beatiful designed plates.

Probably the store that has quite a decent variety for alcohol and chocolates. Alcohol here is cheap and sometimes they give free beer. Bought a few bottles of alcohol, they gave free cans of beer. Chocolates are in the inner part of the shop. They do have some Ritter sports (that’s not available in other stores along Cenang). Do keep an eye on the selection and check on expiration date before purchasing. You can use card or cash (except for Amex and JBC) Parking is along the street or paid parking in Aquarium side. The store closes around 8-9pm. (They asked us to leave when they wanted to close).
Teng L — Google review
Big duty free shop attached to the Underwater World. Spacious and well displayed products and many varieties...like a mini departmental store. Liquor was cheaper here. Some came with free gifts. Chocolates were not cheaper than some other smaller shops. Service was great. Promoters and cashier were helpful. Comfortable place to shop.
Leanie T — Google review
Mostly sold chocolates, snacks and liquor. Some ciggrate and cigar too. Ample parking space. Just next to McDonald's Underwater world and Starbucks.

Totally get why it’s well-reviewed. This place is spacious and beautifully done up with intricate Bali-style carvings — really sets the mood for relaxation. I went for a full body massage and it was great — pressure was just right and the masseuse was skilled. Loved that the room had its own toilet, changing area, and locker for convenience. There’s a wide range of treatments too, so I’d definitely return to try more. A calming, authentic experience by the beach! 💆🏽‍♀️✨

The place itself is really unique and the atmosphere is warm. I had a Balinese massage with masseuse Izan. The massage was good, the pressure points were strong but at the same time it was relaxing. I would recommend this place if you are looking for something different. 👍so far, it made my stay very memorable.

An exceptional massage experience in Langkawi! The setting is absolutely magical, creating a serene atmosphere that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped out of time. Amazing massage experience at Alun Alun Spa, Pantai Cenang My husband and I loved our time at Alun Alun Spa. The Balinese-style setting is so relaxing. We tried foot reflexology, Balinese and Thai massages—each was excellent. Special thanks to Ina for an incredible Balinese massage that left me feeling refreshed and renewed. Adding some soft music could make the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone wanting relaxation in Langkawi. We'll come back!
Sam — Google review
I took their half day package that comprises of: - body scrub - body wrap - hair spa - aromatherapy hot tub - 1.5hrs massage - 30mins foot reflex - facial And, it was totally worth it! I thought usually with such variety of services, either they will have different therapist for different service, or with just one, she may be good at some but average at others. However, Ima, the therapist assigned to me, is extremely good at every service. It was definitely above my expectation at every stage. I felt totally pampered by her. I went back the next day for more massage but Ima was off. Although the therapist wasn’t as great but she was still good. I had a relaxing time as well. It’s a place that I would even consider flying back when I’m in need for a relaxing break.

Mexican restaurant
El Toro Langkawi is a great place to enjoy some authentic Mexican food while watching the stunning sunset view. It's perfect for couples, families and groups, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The value for money is excellent, making it a must-visit spot on Langkawi.
We went there at about 9:30 p.m. for the last order. The atmosphere and interior decoration are cool, and there is a nice balcony outside. You will enjoy the food quality as we did. The best Mexican food in Langkawi is here (no exaggeration) with reasonable price. It is served in a decent style, and there is live music inside. If you are sitting on the balcony, you may enjoy free-style bands playing outside as well.
Siamak M — Google review
This place is very quiet at lunch time. Service was somewhat slow and food took some time to arrive. Food was generally decent but not particularly outstanding. Might be better at night with music and atmosphere.
John ( — Google review
Looks can be deceiving. At the end of the day this establishment is a shadow of what Mexican food should taste like. We ordered the tacos & burrito. Both were bland tasting with minimal spices and flavor, this also applies to the sauces Provided. Not worth it on taste and flavor alone. Prices are high which is understandable because it is located inside a mall, but for the portion size and taste, I would recommend you SKIP eating here. We left hungry after paying ~38rm each PLUS extra 6-8rm for meat.
It's M — Google review
This is a review from someone who is comparing it to standard American Tex-mex and actual Mexican food. If that is what you are expecting from this restaurant, you will not get it. It looks like Tex-mex/Mexican, but the flavors are not there. Firstly, it is not a good start when the sign outside the restaurant is so old that it is barely visible (see attached picture). Regarding the actual food - which is the most important thing. , the simplest staples are either missing or severely under-seasoned and bland. Looking at other reviews - I am not alone in this opinion. I would have thought it would have been easy to pile the plates with fresh, spicy, and flavorful pico de gallo, guac, and cilantro. Malaysia has a wonderful tropical climate - why can this restaurant not find premium ingredients? Overall very disappointed, especially because compared to most restaurants in the area you are paying top dollar for food that is mediocre at best. On the plus, the service was friendly and quick, and the waiter was attentive. The food was presented nicely, and sitting out on the balcony was also good, although the view is of a busy street.
Paul R — Google review
We took the special plate but for the value it wasn’t worth it. The food was ok, we didn’t like the beef in the burritos. The drinks were great
Jérémy S — Google review
The food was good, but nothing special. We opted for the lunch menu for around 30 MYR. The location was good; the restaurant is located in the Cenang Mall and also offers balcony seating.
Julia — Google review
We had dinner at El Toro twice during our 5-day stay in Langkawi. We enjoyed the food as well as it was conveniently located across from our accommodation. It is a little bit pricier than other restaurants in the area, however, we thought it was worth it. The service was fast and attentive, hard not to be as we were the only patrons during the times (around 9-10pm) we were there. We recommend the tables on the terrace for a view of the action of the main street. Our waiter was super friendly and we felt very welcome. He even complimented my boyfriend's hair.😂
Anna M — Google review
El Toro Langkawi offers a mixed experience in terms of its culinary offerings and ambiance. The food here is generally good, but it leans more towards the Americanized version of Mexican cuisine, resembling US-style Mexican fast food rather than authentic Mexican dishes. This aspect might appeal to some visitors looking for familiar flavors, but it may disappoint those in search of a genuine Mexican culinary experience. In terms of atmosphere, the live music at El Toro adds to the overall liveliness of the place. However, it doesn't quite hit the mark in enhancing the Mexican theme of the restaurant. The music, while decent, doesn't fully resonate with the Mexican ambiance that one might expect, presenting a slight disconnect in the thematic experience. Overall, El Toro Langkawi is a good choice for those who enjoy Americanized Mexican food and a vibrant setting, but it may not completely satisfy those seeking authentic Mexican cuisine or a fully thematic Mexican dining experience.

Curry Lab Restaurant in Langkawi offers an amazing dining experience with a variety of flavorful dishes. The restaurant is known for its fantastic banana leaf dinner, which includes three different sauces and vegetable types, and the option to add meat or tofu. Their Chicken Varuval, a southern Indian dry style dish, is highly recommended for its delicious flavors. Guests can also enjoy roti cendi, vegetable curry, mango lassi, and the banana leaf chicken set.
Absolutely amazing banana leaf dinner, so many flavours going on with 3 different sauces, 3 different vegetable types.. I added chicken to it (you can add any kind of meat or tofu as banana leaf is vegetarian). Fantastic for vegetarians. Great staff, friendly and accomodating. Can sit inside or outside. Also tried Chicken Varuval, a southern Indian dry style dish, amazing flavours, really delicious. Definitely highly recommend.

Very good food! The curries have a lot of flavor and are packed with spice(you can adjust to your preference). Portions are a good size, I couldn't finish mine. Fast & friendly service. Great value for the prices, walk out of your resorts to try this little gem.

Update 9/2023 : Looks like the ownership has changed. Service was not good and very slow. They made the order wrong twice. Taste not as good as before. Maintaining the original review to provide context to what it was and what it is now. Again, this is my personal view only. Do try on your own. Original 9/2022: Short version if you don't want to read my essay : • excellent food • accommodative - got my off menu tofu sambal since I'm a vegetarian • cherry on the cake is the excellent customer service of the 2 girls manning the front. Makes you feel like you're eating at home. Now the essay : Now this is truly a hidden gem. They are new entry to the F&B landscape of Pantai Cenang, opening just couple of months ago. My friend and I decided to give the place a try after being recommend by the cool boys of Kalut bar, which is just few foot steps away. My friend had chicken Claypot rice, that too was rated as excellent by my ever picky friend, when it comes to food. I was offered off menu option given that I'm a vegetarian. The friendly girl staff offered few suggestions to make something out of tofu. So went with her suggestion of tofu sambal with cabbage stir fry. To my amazement, the tofu sambal came in sizzling Claypot with all the hissing like a Texas rattlesnake 🤣🤣. Cabbage was stir fried with tofu, which by itself was alright. The highlight however was the still hissing tofu sambal. It's not your standard tofu sambal, was a different style. But spicy it was, i had to wipe off tears from rolling down my cheeks and save the embarrassment of being judged not capable of handling the heat. Don't get me wrong, I love spicy food and it will look like I was not enjoying the food with glassy eyes. The truth however, is quite the opposite. I immensely enjoyed the food, it was a knock out of the park. Combination of their version of tofu sambal and cabbage stir fry was an excellent combination. What topped it however was the service. I'm telling you the girls serving customers in front are going to bring this place to greater heights. They are the true embodiment of MH (Malaysian Hospitality). They were like constantly checking on us if we needed anything else such as appalam, etc. The standard restaurant will give you 1, then if you ask more then you'd probably get away with another. But these girls were like giving us 2 everytime we asked for appalam, no hesitations. I truly felt like I went to a close relative's house and was served food cooked by family.
Bala M — Google review
We are vegans, and the staff immediately knew what that was (no egg, no ghee, no milk, etc) and could tell us exactly what our options were. All you need is one good choice anyways! There was housemade masala tofu, and a platter of rice and various curries with a tasty pickle, papadum, rasam, etc. Our kids also loved their food. (We all also got fresh watermelon juice to start, and they were happy not to put ice in it, which we just do not enjoy as it makes it too cold and is too stark of a contrast to the heat outside, hah!) We left discussing going again the next day. The staff were also very nice and the place was airy and the toilet was clean. They’ve not been open long but I hope many people, whether they are vegan, vegetarian, or meat eaters, will visit this place frequently. If we visit the island again we will certainly return.
Chloe S — Google review
Not the best Indian food we have had. We ordered the chicken clay pot & butter chicken with roti canai. My sides with the roti canai were cold where as my boyfriends had been heated up. Curry definitely lacked in flavour & the chicken was chewy :(. Has potential needs a little more love in the food.

Middle Eastern restaurant
Restaurant
Yasmin Express is a Middle Eastern restaurant that offers delicious food with generous portions. The quality of the dishes such as Shawarma Meal with Cheese, Baba Ganoush, and Musakka with Meat is superb. Despite the uninviting exterior, the food is outstanding and comparable to that of fine Middle Eastern restaurants or hotels. The hummus served with fresh bread is particularly noteworthy.
Stumbled upon this humble shop. TACOS WERE GREAT! So happy with the food. We ordered lamb tacos and fish tacos. Lamb tacos were perfectly seasoned. Fish tacos had the perfect degree of crisps. Flavour of the guac balances everything. Had to wait a little as the lamb needed some time to grill. Overall happy and will come back to try other items on the menu.

This place serves Middle Eastern food and I must say the taste is exactly what was expected. We've tried the mango juice (really the best I've tried), the mix of appetizers, eggplant with beef, Capuccino, Orange juice, Iced tea lemon, wraps with French fries. The quality of the taste was very high, I really loved it and also how it was for all the meals and not just one plate that I loved. I recommend!

Excellent shawarmas!! They have a vast menu and everything I have tried so far didn’t disappoint from shawarmas to pizza to nachos to quesadillas to shish tawok. Everything on the menu is 10/10 and overall great experience and good quantity of food served. Plus point that it’s right next to my french factory where you can stop by for next level tastiest crepes and waffles for desserts. Definitely recommended!

100% recommended! The food was spectacular — we ordered the chicken kebab and tuna salad, and we asked if they could bring us some feta on the side; they did it with no problem at all. Everything was delicious! We liked it so much that we came back another day and ordered the same salad again, and this time we also tried the vegetarian pizza — it was amazing too. The staff was always very friendly and attentive. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for everything!

Very good shawarma and the mixed appetizer platter. Pizza was ok. I tried a few different places but always wished I was back here eating. If you have time, tried the appetizer mix. Takes longer to make the fresh pita than simply carving the meat for the Shawarma but good as well.

Best Indian restaurant we found during our 5 days stay in Langkawi. Just located in front of Underwater World, Langkawi this Indo-Arabic restaurant wont deprive your cravings for Indian food in a land where food differes a lot in taste and smell. All dishes served were of excellent quality. The service personnel help you find the best cuisine according to your choice as they are all from different parts of India. And of course the presence of Sharukh Khan adds another feather to the crown of this restaurant. During the shooting of DON 2, (a part of the movie was filmed in Langkawi) he dined in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly the food is good. Restaurant was empty and look run down. Food was good. Even the naan was hot and tasty. Highly recommended.
Alain B — Google review
Food was good not great. We tried claypot mutton curry, daal fry, rice and fried egg. Price could be less pricy, but it's okay as that is the only good indian restaurant in entire Langkawi! This place wide and larger with lots of seating arrangement and lots beautiful paintings of indian culture you could find on the restaurant wall. Staffs were well-behaved and helpful. BTW there is no AC in the restaurant. Other things which could be improved which is wash basin which you can find i side the toilet. Separate hand wash area could be good. Overall a nice indian restaurant to dine in.

We ordered for takeaway and the pani puri had a very generous serving. We also ordered the biryani from here and the taste was super good!

We visited this restaurant while searching for vegetarian options for dinner 5 days ago. The vibes remind one of Bollywood in the 90s. Indian vegetarian food was available. We had 2 kinds of samosas, tandoori paneer, aloo paratha, gobhi paratha, veg biriyani and lassi. While the rest of the food was good, the parathas were too thick and hence the dough was half cooked. We had requested for a spicy paratha, and the one that was served was very bland. The paratha served as replacement was also very thick, and partially cooked.
N N — Google review
Fish masala was good, but vegetable biryani we ordered was so-so, my wife cooks much better one with Indian spices at home. Green salad was just some basic sliced vegetables. And what’s most interesting- indian bread (roti or naan variety) was made with sweet jellybons:) - the most unusual and strange we ever ate😬.

A couple of rows of stalls ranging from food, drinks to clothes etc. the food are generally alright but it's a place locals go to for food. The prices are affordable and value for money. Though the drinks are a little too sweet for personal preference.

Museum
Specialty Museums
Laman Padi Langkawi is a unique open-air museum located at Pantai Cenang, offering an exploration of the history and process of rice cultivation. Visitors can enjoy guided tours through acres of paddy fields, learn about different rice species, and observe the tools and equipment used in rice farming. The complex also features herb gardens, galleries showcasing the evolution of rice cultivation, a floating rice garden, and traditional-themed cottages.
We stopped in here and did one of the activity packages they have on offer. We did a detailed guided tour of the rice museum, a detailed tour of the herb garden with tasting, skinning and grating a coconut and planting and cultivating rice in the field. For 2 adults and a child it was 55RM which is great value. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was an excellent couple of hours.
Andrew — Google review
I had amazing time and highly recommend this place for a visit! I went to the museum part first because I wanted a tour with the activities. I did tour package B which included the tour(rice museum+herb garden) with demonstrations and coconut grating. It was a very interesting and informative experience. The tour tickets can be bought at gallery padi which is the free rice museum with air conditioning. The tour starts with an introduction at the rice museum. Then we went to the fields to harvest and plant rice ourselves. Afterwards, we went to the coconut grating demonstration. Then there was another demonstration for grinding the rice, separating rice from the husks, and using a machine that pounds it. Our tour guide then explained the different herbs grown in their garden. Additionally, they gave us a free demonstration and tasting of the cooking of coconut balls which was not included in our tour. However, be aware that you might have to look for someone/call for a tour since there seems to be only 3 people running the tours and they just start when there are people interested. I joined a couple for a tour who arrived at the same time. The staff was very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. I recommend staying here for a few hours to enjoy and learn more about rice and local agricultural processes. There are also free bathrooms by the museum. Apparently, there is also a spa but I didn’t go.

This has got to be our highlight of Langkawi. It is a hidden gem where you get a hands on experience for a cheap price! We had a guide show us around the museum and explain the history of cultivating rice in Langkawi. We then made our way to the herb garden where the second guide Rushdy showed us the different medicinal uses of each herb. We grated some fresh coconut which we ate immediately (delicious)! I asked to take the leftovers to my hotel which I enjoyed later on. Then we made our way to the rice paddy to plant the rice. The 3 guides who showed us around were all fantastic! We really felt the personal touch to the whole experience. All in all we paid about £4 each (20 ringgit each). It’s too cheap for what you’re given. My only suggestion is that someone is manning the front desk as we waited around for a long while looking for someone to buy tickets off.
Aqeelah M — Google review
It's a really beautiful spot but I don't think anything is open... I was the only person there. A lot of people working on the place building/gardening etc but no other visitors. No signs to explain anything about the rice paddies so maybe it isn't actually open. But it's very pretty. And I enjoyed watching the water buffalo have a roll in the mud and chase a bird.
Brigid W — Google review
Very interesting visit, we learned everything about the sowing, harvesting and processing of the rice. We had a guide who explained all the process inside the museum and then showed the different stages of the process in real life. We even did plant a bit of rice! She also showed us how to open a coconut, and how to shave the Coco itself. We learned a lot. The place was mostly empty most of the time, so there's no issues with be too crowded. Recommended.
Alejandro S — Google review
Great way to spend a few hours. Lot of fun mini activities you can try. Planting rice, rice mill, some traditional games... We had super nice tour guide. Highly recommend.
Dominik F — Google review
We had a wonderful experience here. The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offers a great insight into the history and culture of rice cultivation in Langkawi. Our guide, Fishah, made the visit truly special: very knowledgeable, kind, and passionate in her explanations. Highly recommend both the museum and Fishah’s tour for anyone visiting Langkawi!

I came on Sunday morning ard 9.30am. It is just a place where the mini padi fields are. No activities for visitors. We are on our own to explore the area. You can skip the place.

SCAM!! The owner is really unfriendly. The bike he fave us had a broken battery. We couldn’t continue our trip because of the problem and had to travel a long way back with public transportation. Instead of helping us he was acting very irresponsible, didn’t give us back the deposit and wanted to charge us for even more money. Furthermore he was screaming and yelling instead of trying to find a solution in a mature way. He is doing this with a lot of customers. Don’t go there! Absolutely not recommendable!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Thai Seafood Experience! Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai seafood! You can really taste the freshness in every bite – from the seafood to the vegetables, everything was just amazing. A must-try is their squid cooked in tempura – crispy, flavorful, and seriously one of the best I’ve had! The staff are super friendly and helpful when it comes to recommending dishes. Also great to know that it’s a Muslim-friendly stall, so no worries there. Thank you, Pai Kin Cfood, for the wonderful meal – I’ll definitely be back!
Dhuha J — Google review
We had dinner at Pai Kan Seafood in Langkawi and the place was absolutely packed with guests, which speaks volumes about its popularity. The service was a bit slow, likely because of the crowd, but the staff remained polite and accommodating. We ordered fried rice, tom yum soup, and a few other dishes. The portions were actually quite generous, but since we didn’t know beforehand, we ended up ordering more than we could finish. The fried rice was flavorful with crispy shallots on top, and the tom yum soup was bold, tangy, and warming. The atmosphere was okay – it’s a casual, open-air local dining spot, more about the food than the décor. Prices were reasonable, and overall it’s a good choice if you want hearty seafood and local flavors in Langkawi.
NJ L — Google review
When I tell you there is delicious food here it is because it is delicious!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. They're always available to help and recommend good food. They offer affordable and a la carte options, especially if you want to try local dishes. But even though I'm so far from Thailand, I found a delicious Thai-style pad Thai here. I really love this place. 1000/100

An authetic thai food place. Service and staff were good. Dishes were yumm. We ordered green curry, phad thai, basil chicken, fish, mango with sticky rice. All were great. Drinks could have been better- ordered water melon juice. Too sweet and syrup.
Ritu P — Google review
Although the restaurant is located a bit away from the others, that probably motivates them to put extra effort into making truly excellent dishes! The place itself isn't fancy, but the food is absolutely fantastic. You'll find a great variety of seafood and more – there's something for everyone. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good flavors and genuine service.

1) food is awful Tomyam soup not good, there is not much of seafood (major is fishball and cauliflower) Kangkung balcan taste like plain water Lala acceptable 2) Poor customer service We already sat down, instead of taking order from us, the staff take order from customer that stand outside and serve the food to them first. Which make us wonder what is the purpose they serve customer who come later 3) they place us in front of rubbish place 4) Didn't control on people smoking at the restaurant, which affect the dining experience Not recommend to come this restaurant

I have been here three times (and counting) the food is authentic and absolutely delicious. The service is amazing even when the restaurant is completely full and they are happy to make dishes vegetarian if needed. Definitely recommend ❤️

we stumbled upon this gem in beautiful Langkawi – absolutely delicious, authentic Thai food! We ordered a feast of dishes and drinks, but the Belacan Fried Rice, Basil Beef, and Phat Phet were the real stars. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the fantastic quality. Honestly, it was some of the best Thai food we've ever had.

Restaurant
Nestled in a vibrant locale, 3 Amigos Mexican Restaurant offers an intriguing blend of culinary options that span Italian and local dishes alongside its Mexican fare. While the ambiance may not be the most lively, it compensates with a diverse menu featuring everything from seafood to vegetarian delights. Diners have experienced mixed feelings about portion sizes, particularly with burritos and fish tacos that some found underwhelming. However, many guests rave about the friendly service and refreshing drinks like their fresh apple juice and margaritas.
One of the best! Food tasted amazing and in love with their service :)
Bindushree S — Google review
Wide Selection of Mexican and Italian dishes by the same restaurant. Lots of options but rather pricey. Taste is fairly good but portions are small for the price I ordered quesadillas and lemon tea for one and it cost rm45
Sharanya — Google review
Food is good but a bit pricey and spicy. They have a vast menu from Mexican to Italian. Worth trying at least once. The pizza and nachos were really tasty. Tacos were not bad but can be improved.
Marium B — Google review
The food was unfortunately very disappointing. What was served as tacos felt more like fajitas – just chicken, bell peppers, zucchini, and a generic tomato sauce. Instead of cream cheese, we received whipped cream, and the salsa portion was far too small. I really expected something closer to authentic Mexican flavors. Beer is served in small can (Tiger 7 MYR).
Bett H — Google review
We have visited a few times over the years, but it seems like the quality is consistently getting worse. This time they served the enchiladas with Kraft singles "cheese" to pose as melted cheese. The service is good, but the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired.
Michael E — Google review
Currently in Malaysia, have eaten at this restaurant twice. Mexican first and then Italian. Both times, the food has been fresh, delicious and good value for money. The service was excellent and the waiters very friendly and accommodating to our group of 8’s varied dietary requirements. Hoping to try the Indian menu before we leave!
Sumi P — Google review
Firstly, the table cloths need a deep clean. The music, bad techno pop, chipmunk jinglebells, and hip-hop: what beats to chew to. Deeply disappointed by my mojito, which seemed to be blended to bitz. It was a big deal when I asked for ice too cool down the room temp cocktail. But alas a giant cup of ice was served. That fixed things. And here comes the taco pizza: First appearances, well, it's underwhelming. Small bits of toppings, smothered in cheese. And upon tasting I can say it's absolute meh. So much 🫑 and strange "beef". I don't think even the street dogs would eat this. So in hind sight I should have followed my gut instinct and just got street food! Mexican food, isn't done well in Langkawi, stay away!
This B — Google review
After seeing the ratings here we wanted to try it and see how bad it was. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish and yeah the two menus are a bit strange but in all Honesty it’s pretty much the same in each side just one side is ‘Mexican’ and one side is ‘Italian’. The pizza was ok, I thought it was fresh despite reading reviews that it was frozen, but it is made on a tortilla wrap. It wasn’t bad but for the price there are better places down the road. The pasta was ok, my husband liked the flavours but I thought the pasta was overdone and too soft personally. For the price I didn’t think it was all that good. We had ‘milkshakes’ that were also ok.

The place is open only for breakfast and lunch, so don’t plan to visit for dinner 🙃 The staff is friendly and attentive, the service super quick and the food very tasty! The set is served directly in a banana leaf and you can ask free refills if you are not full. Loved it!

Interesting cheap place to try local food. That being said... expect it not to be perfect. My wife wasn't happy with her food, but I enjoyed mine... except for the tm random chicken bone that shouldn't have been there. It's more of a local place or restaurant for those in the accommodations next door than a general restaurant. That being said... I absolutely enjoyed my meal though my wife didn't enjoy hers as much.

Fantastic home cooked Malaysian Indian food. Must try in Langkawi. Their BLM is awesome and the must try item, is their crab (nandu) rasam. One of the best I've ever tasted. My daughter tried it for the first time and drank almost 4 rounds. Very very highly recommend this food here in Langkawi. Friendly owners and staff. Lunch starts at 12pm and they have breakfast items such as thosai, idli, nasi lemak and chapati before the lunch time.
Christopher K — Google review
One of the most overrated restaurant in Langkawi. Decided to visit this place after seeing the good reviews but it was a total disappointment. All the curries were bland and tasteless. They serve teaspoon portion for the veggies. Gave us the curries 15 minutes after putting the rice. We still waited patiently. We ordered fried chicken and fried fish but only received fried fish after 30 minutes. Then, there was an Indian lady working in the restaurant, she was extremely arrogant and sent our order to a different table eventhough one of the staff alerted her that it was our order. There was an elderly uncle who apologised to us for that ladies action. In conclusion, very poor service plus its worthless waiting for this kind of service and tasteless food. Update reply to owner's comment on my review: How can it be a fake review when I have posted pictures of my dining experience at your shop? It just shows how arrogant owner you are by claiming that my review is a fake one. I think you are dreaming in your own lala land when you expect your customers to leave a positive review when the actual experience was totally negative.

The food was good but the taste can be improved by working on vegetables. Their bitter ground was good but other vegetables need improvement. Also for vegetarians, The tea taste was good. Unlimited refill is a really good initiative in banana leaves. They can have fried Mirch in banana leaves. The seating arrangement is good also.

We came across this place on Google Maps and decided to pay a visit due to the many great reviews - most certainly did not dissapoint. The restaurant itself is welcoming with an attractive open-air layout. There is also a lovely, homely, family vibe to it - the staff were all very charming and friendly and the service was great. The food totally hits the spot. Everything was delicious, from the condiments to the mutton and chicken side dishes. The mutton rasam is very excellent, and deserves special mention. We loved everything about this small humble restaurant, and would love to come back again.
Kimberley H — Google review
Firstly and most importantly, the food was fantastic. It was very busy (around 2pm) and the friendly staff were struggling to keep up with all the orders, so stuff like poppadams and pickles came late and randomly. The massala chai I had ordered didn't come at all, but I was still charged for it which was immediately rectified. As the food was delicious I'd still come back however at a quieter time of day.

Expectations were met! The exterior may not look like much but the rooms were great. Clean and very well detail oriented. We had the aroma therapy 60 mins, the massage was great. My only comment is if we could probably been wiped down with a hot towel after the oil massage. Overall, excellent massage.

My husband and I recently visited Furusato Spa and had an amazing experience. We both enjoyed a foot reflexology and leg massage, followed by a Malay massage—which was a pleasant discovery for us, as it was our first time trying it. The massage was on point, with just the right amount of pressure, and left us feeling completely relaxed. The staff were attentive throughout the session, constantly checking in to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We left feeling relaxed and very satisfied with the entire experience. If you're looking for a value-for-money treatment that doesn't compromise on quality, try out Furusato Spa.

My husband and I recently visited and we had an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and beautifully designed to help you relax instantly. We both enjoyed a full treatment that included a massage, body scrub, and facial, and every part of it was excellent. The massage was incredibly relaxing, with just the right amount of pressure. The body scrub left our skin smooth and refreshed, and the facial made our skin glow! The staff were professional, kind, and attentive throughout the session. They made sure we were comfortable and explained each step clearly. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and very satisfied. I highly recommend this spa for couples or anyone looking for a high-quality, peaceful spa day.

Lovely setup. The rooms were spacious with water feature walls. We chose 90min package. The massage was amazing. I had to stop the facial half way because the scrub was not suitable for me. But the therapist Liza knew exactly what to do and came back with a cold compress after which she gave me a soothing mask. Great experience. I would come back again if I visit Langkawi.

I had an amazing experience at Furusatu Spa in Pantai Tengah. Aisha, the massage therapist, was outstanding—she truly understood the pressure I was comfortable with and checked in throughout the session to make sure it was just right. Her technique was professional and highly effective, releasing all the tension and pain in my problem areas. I usually prefer soft to medium pressure, and she delivered it perfectly. I felt incredible afterward and only wished the massage lasted longer. Highly recommended!
Fats I — Google review
I went there yesterday for the 8:30 pm slot for a warm oil massage, 90 minutes session and it was very bad! The lady who did the massage was unprofessional und unskilled. 15 minutes into the massage I realized it was too soft, so I asked her to increase the pressure but she couldn't maintain consistency for too long. It went from soft to very hard (using her full body weight) back and forth multiple times without any control over intensity showing clear signs of lack of experience. However,I didn't expect to see bruises all over my back after she was done! I woke up the next day with a back pain and very noticeable marks, I have to see another professional to ease the pain. The place is clean and front desk staff were respectful but the massage experience was the worst. Never again

Had the best warm oil full body massage from Awin and Syaza. They are very professional and very friendly. Great service and they even provided explanation during the process to make us feel more comfortable.

I just got the one of the most awesome experience there ! The location of the spa is hidden among cottages of the hotel so it's peaceful. First, I have been welcomed at the reception to talk about the massage I booked. I took the Malaysian signature body massage. Then it started with a foot bath, with pretty little petals 🥀 then you get ready in the private room. The massage was awesome and feel super great !! I can say it's the best massage I ever had so far 😌 The therapist make sure the pressure is okay for you and the scent of the oil is incredible. From my perspective it was very professional and they know what they are doing. I loved it and I highly recommend ☀️

I just had a head, neck and shoulder massage with Hanis - amazing! She could feel where all my tension was and was both strong and careful. I also had a 1h back and shoulder massage with Awin earlier this week. Again, she was strong but careful and I felt so relaxed that I almost fell asleep…!

I had two massages by Syaza at the Frangipani Spa and they were both great. One was the Malay Signature, and one was a 5 minute back and shoulder taster in the bar area. She is very strong! She made me feel very comfortable, regularly checking in to see how I felt with the pressure.

Night market
Pantai Cenang Night Market is a bustling weekly market held every Thursday, offering a wide range of items such as clothes, accessories, and bags at negotiable prices. Visitors can also indulge in delectable street food like fried bananas and fish crackers. The market exudes a vibrant atmosphere with locals selling an array of goods including handmade gifts. Additionally, it's a haven for food enthusiasts seeking fresh and delicious local flavors.
Lots of food stalls. Local street food at its best at very reasonable price.

Pantai Cenang & Night Market – A Food Lover’s Paradise! I absolutely love Pantai Cenang! And if you're a food lover, don’t miss the night market. It’s full of delicious local snacks, seafood, and unique treats. A perfect place to enjoy the beach vibes and try amazing food at night!

Nothing exceptional as we have seen more vibrant and haooe ing markets in Goa and even our very own Noida. Food options are limited for Vegetarians but Iced Milo is awesome.

Lots of food truck but I dont really enjoy the experience here Food is oily & too much carb for me The juice is not as good as in Vietnam, flavourless (except avocado and mango
Thanh T — Google review
Is quite small (about 10 merchants) , some of the places have very good food and ridiculous (small) prices. The tables and chairs are low quality, also the cleaning is not the the most desired. But is a must, I recommend to try it at least once. Tom Yum, MI Goreng, etc
Cristian B — Google review
If you are vegetarian just go there for the vibes. Most of the food is non-vegetarian. The fruit juices were nice. Surprisingly we also got not bad mango sticky rice. Definitely a cost effective way to fill your tummies

Strolling through the Pantai Cenang Night Market was an absolute highlight of my Langkawi trip. The atmosphere is lively, with the aroma of sizzling street food filling the air and colorful stalls lining the streets. I indulged in delicious Nasi Lemak wrapped in banana leaves and couldn’t resist the sweet Apam Balik pancakes. Beyond the food, there were unique handmade crafts and souvenirs that captured the local culture beautifully. The market operates from around 6 PM, and it’s best to arrive early to beat the crowds. A must-visit for anyone wanting to experience authentic Malaysian street life!

Love the night shopping as it is more cooling. There is also a food truck hawker stores here and there are tables and chairs for dine in. But it’s a bit limited seating. Overall, the food sold here reasonably priced and very tempting.

Teratai Reflexology, located near the Underwater World in Langkawi, offers a variety of traditional Malay spa treatments such as body scrubs, wraps, facials, baths, and massages. The skilled therapists target pressure points to relieve tension and promote relaxation in a soothing ambiance with comfortable seating.
Not bad, enjoyed our 60-minutes foot reflexology. We didn’t book prior, and had tried our luck by walking in. The reception staff/cashier (an old Chinese lady and a lady in her 40s) were nice, friendly, and accommodating. Definitely better experience and a more reasonable price point than some spas around. Please give them a try! :) the location is just opposite Cenang Night Market.

As we were still slightly early for Liquid Valley, we decided to head over to Teratai Reflexology for a foot massage. As it only opened at 2pm, we stopped by the duty-free shop (one of many in Langkawi) next door. We then stumbled upon a really good deal, 2 Yuzu Kit Kat ice cream for only 4.9RM! Or 1.5 SGD for 2! :O Then, we noticed the “catch”. The Yuzu was spelt “U_zu” 😂 Thankful that we didn’t have any stomachache after 😂 😂 Then at 2pm, we went for a foot massage at Teratai Reflexology… The foot massage at Teratai Reflexology Langkawi was actually not very cheap. At 79RM per person, it was essentially the same price as in Singapore. Nonetheless, the massage was not too bad. There was a foot bath at Teratai Reflexology and the staff dried our feet before bring us over to commence the foot massage. Drooled a little during this treatment after all the shopping and walking in the hot sun… For more details, visit 2bearbear today!

Went for a 60mins foot reflexology - one of the most relaxing leg massages which I have received! Highly recommended for anyone in the area! The staff were not even expecting any tips and we had to specially sought out the masseurs to do so.

I went to this Spa after reading reviews on google and I didn’t regret it ! The welcoming was very nice from the lady in the reception desk, smiling and informing about all massage details . I choose the Reflexology feet massage, and it was amazing , the lady ensured a good pressure all the massage session . And after the session they offered me a warming cup of mango tea . I really recommend this spa

Likely the best foot massage in the area. The female manager service was impeccable, smiles throughout and making sure we were served hot lemon tea or drinking water. I personally was here just to accompany my other half. 5/5*! Cheers!

I had a pleasant experience at Teratai. The foot massage was relaxing, and the staff was polite and attentive. The space was clean and comfortable, which added to the overall experience. It was a nice way to unwind, and my feet definitely felt better afterward. I would recommend this place for a simple, relaxing massage.

We went for a foot to ankle massage. They were not at all professional, talking among themselves the whole massaging time with a silence message board hung inside. If you ever had Thai massage before and liked it please don't go, you will regret your decision. They have no clue about pressure points and even massaging in general.

Pantai Tengah, located in the southwest of Langkawi, is a serene and picturesque beach known for its fine white sand and tranquil ambiance. It is the longest beach on the island and boasts modern resorts along its shore. The area offers affordable spa services and stunning sunset views over pristine waters. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities including parasailing and water sports, making it an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.
Seems like a somewhat private access beach for the resorts however you can still enter. Must quieter than the busy Cenang beach and clearer water. Only a few mins detour.

This is an average beach with nice view especially at the Sunrise and Sunset. It was quite dirty during the entire week when I was here. Part of the beach is fortified with textile and sand, which probably protects the nearest buildings against the strong waves but it looks terrible 😔. There are rocks in the water -- I hurt my leg, so be careful.

i think it's only good if you want to do water sports. it's not that beautiful, and it's that crowded. literally thousand people roaming around here and you start wondering where was the plague 😬

It’s unfortunate that Malaysian authorities permit high-altitude aircraft to release aluminum oxide into the skies under the guise of solar radiation management and geoengineering. These substances create artificial cloud cover in the upper atmosphere, carried by the winds and eventually descending with the rain. During those dark, heavy downpours, it’s no surprise that many people experience health issues tied to this practice.
Joseph ( — Google review
Lots and lots of garbage in the sand and at the beach. There are no bins alongside the beach what would help collecting garbage and giving the passionate tourist the chance to take matter in his own hands and collect some of it.
Max S — Google review
Tengah Beach is in crisis. Just four or five years ago, it was a pristine paradise with crystal-clear waters. Today, it’s almost unrecognizable. On my recent visit, I was shocked to find the beach littered with plastic waste, broken glass, wooden crates, and construction debris. The damage appears to be the result of a newly completed large hotel and ongoing construction nearby. Waste from these sites is being funneled through a stream directly into the sea, turning the once-clear water murky and foul-smelling—like raw sewage. This is environmental negligence, plain and simple. How have the authorities allowed this to happen? Where is the oversight? If action isn’t taken immediately, Tengah Beach will be lost for good. It’s devastating, and sadly, I won’t be returning to Langkawi soon.
Albert L — Google review
I don’t know if it’s the right beach, we stayed at Attitude Resort. The beach is beautiful, buuuuuuut… it’s kinda dirty, not Cenang dirty, but still. There are several large hotels but they won’t cooperate to place nets to deter jellyfish. THE ARE A LOT OF JELLYFISH HERE, BE AWARE! We got stung almost every day and once I had a really painful stung from a big jellyfish. There are also lots of wild dogs, again, why all those hotels won’t cooperate and shot them down??? Also those weird huge bags that obstruct the view. And also new hotel construction nearby. Beautiful sunsets.

This spot should be busier! Great live tunes from Mr. Rayyanz, wonderful guitarist! The Beef Rendang & Chicken Malasa were banging and the chicken satay was the best out of 4 other restaurants in the area. Amazing value on beers, Gina & whiskeys, couldn’t recommend this spot more 👌

Situated towards the top and of the Beach road red sky bar and restaurant is it fantastic location to enjoy happy hour between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and the live band between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. they have an extensive menu of food local and international all priced very competitively. Nice atmosphere, super friendly staff, good food and plenty of options for drinks. We went one Friday night, and there was a really talented 2-man acoustic guitar band singing rock classics. Great place for late night snacks and drinks, and fun! Very lovely place indeed! 😋

Food was served at different stages and ruined our dinner as we weren’t all eating at the same time. Asked for a small beer and owner served a big one and pretended he didn’t understand what we ordered. Fish and chips was clearly frozen stuff and not fried long enough, the fried rice was nothing special and the fried egg on top was tasteless with a very pale yolk. On the side there were cheap frozen samosas and spring rolls, perfect for tourists who don’t know better. The live music was so loud and intrusive, no wonder nobody wanted to sit inside but owner still wanted a high volume. Price was cheap like everything in Malaysia so I don’t think a cheap bill should justify average food and service quality.

It’s shocked me for little bit when the waiter explained the fried rice, claypot noodle and stir fried noodle with vegeterian was not completely vegetarian???! He said that the seasonings and the broth for noodles made from chicken powder spices. So vegetarian and vegan might be careful for this twist. He also said that the pasta, in other hand, was vegetarian ! I asked him to make a fried rice only use salt and soy sauce. But unfortunately they can’t! As a vegetarian, when you travel in Langkawi there are so little option restaurant go vegetarian and if you didn’t ask the waiter as me, the result is you observe meat unconsciously!!!

Orkid Ria Seafood Restaurant is a Chinese open-air eatery located on Jalan Pantai Cenang, offering a delightful experience for seafood enthusiasts. The restaurant is known for its delectable chilli crab and steamed tilapia. Visitors appreciate the fusion of locally grown produce with fresh seafood to create inspiring blackboard specials.
A really comfortable place to dine in. The highlight was definitely the butter tiger prawn which was absolutely delicious and the best dish of the meal. The rest of the food was tasty as expected, although the mantis prawn signature dish was just okay for us. The restaurant is very clean and I feel the pricing is reasonable given the quality of the food and service. I would definitely come back again for the butter tiger prawn.

Had a nice dining experience at this seafood restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the lobster wasn’t cooked quite right, but everything else was great. When we mentioned it to the manager at the end of the meal, he was incredibly professional and kind, and he offered a discount without hesitation. Thank you to the manager for the excellent customer service. I would still highly recommend it.

Excellent service and food. Lobster was delicious as we're other dishes. Don't let the bus loads of tourists put you off like it almost did us. The design is spacious and quiet. The bus loads left and an entire new crowd filled the restaurant. Superb experience and highly recommended.

A pretty good option in Langkawi to enjoy seafood dishes that are full of flavors in a great location. From the moment you arrive, you get a full description of what your lobster, crab or fish can be cooked with based on their experience and what you want it. We enjoyed the lobster and mud crab flavors along with the lobster head soup and rice. Their squid with salted egg flavor was also great. The price you pay here is quite high, but you get what you pay for.

BurgerSmith Langkawi is a must-visit spot for burger enthusiasts looking to indulge in delicious comfort food while enjoying their holiday. Nestled within Cenang Mall, just a stone's throw from the lively Pantai Cenang Beach, this open-air eatery serves up an array of juicy burgers that can be customized to your liking.
We absolutely enjoyed our Dinner at BURGERSMITH! The Burger was great, nothing you get everywhere. Basically the same for the Chicken Wrap. The seasoning was different, a great experience! I agree that you have to wait some time to get your food, but the time is worth it in my opinion. In order to make food delicious, you need time and have to prepare it freshly. I recommend checking it out, but be prepared to wait for your food.

craft your own burgers. excellent stuff. this burger joint rivals the best burger places in kl. chicken wings not bad too. only thing is that the weather is too bloody hot in the afternoon to eat out there without aircond. had to 'tapau' and eat in comfort in hotel room.

They have lots of tables but only one grill. They say we have to wait 45 mins as a family of 6 ordered before us. Lmao. Eat elsewhere if u find time precious. EDIT : after finding out its gonna take so long... we just order fries and wings. And that took 20mins. 😑

Great burger with a acceptable price tag. The burger price is standardised, Rm18 for chicken; RM20 for Lamb. Could be compared with MyBurger Lab. Nice taste and all selection is based on your favourite to craft out your burger! The drawback is just this place is not offering great selection of drinks with pricey price tag, so u might just have to opt to some duty free to get your drinks before u come.

Only order the burgers. They taste really good. The aglio olio is salty, oily and overspiced. The vanilla and chocolate milkshakes were so-so only. Had much much better milkshakes in the past. Price is more than average.

The vanilla ice cream waffle here is absolutely divine – the waffle is perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making it an irresistible treat! I also tried the biscoff cheesecake, and it’s a must-order! Rich, creamy, and packed with that signature biscoff flavor—though slightly sweet, it’s utterly delicious. To top it off, their hot chocolate is heavenly—smooth, rich, and the perfect way to end your dessert experience.

The ambiance of the place is simply beautiful. I had their cappuccino coffee on recommendation from the kind owner, and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The aesthetic of this place feels makes you feel right at home and adding to that, the interaction with the owner, definitely made my visit extra special. Thanks for serving me!

I ordered the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce. The chicken was average, and the sauce tasted more like mushroom soup than a proper sauce. The fries were okay. The staff missed my order so I need to asked them & wait a bit longer. The ambience is nice to take a good picture and the music they played was nice too.

We arrived at the cafe at 6pm, and although the notice board showed it was closed, Google listed the closing time as 7pm. Since we saw staff still inside, we stepped in to ask, and they confirmed they were open until 7pm, but only snacks were available at that time. Aircond was closed and after sitting down and placing our order, the music was stopped, which made the atmosphere feel quite unwelcoming. We waited around 20 minutes for a waffle, but unfortunately, it was undercooked. It was a disappointing visit overall. Hopefully, the cafe can improve its consistency in service and food quality.

What an amazing adventure for our family! Dayang Bunting Island offered spectacular views with pristine waters and gorgeous scenery. Our journey included stops at Pulau Buaya, refreshing swims in open waters, and wonderful wildlife sightings of dolphins and eagles flying above. The guides Amer and Raiyan were fantastic - they looked after our whole family with excellent professionalism and genuine attention. They ensured everyone felt secure and ready to ride, particularly those trying jet skiing for the first time. Every single moment was absolutely thrilling! This experience went beyond what we hoped for - an amazing mix of excitement, beautiful nature, and exceptional customer service. Great value and definitely worth the investment. I'd recommend this to any type of traveler! If you're new to jet skiing, don't worry - the staff will guide you through everything perfectly. You'll create memories that last a lifetime!

Had the best time with Amir- we booked it on night before on GetYourGuide. I'd advise doing the morning slot, there's less rush on the different islands. Amir was really lovely, felt very safe and he took amazing photos and videos of us and airdropped them to us at the end. We shared a jet ski, every stop was beautiful. 100% recommend, was so much fun! Even jet skied in the rain at the end which was an unforgettable experience!

SPA LANGKAWI @ SOUL PLANTS AWAKENING SPA is a haven for those seeking relief from nerve pains and muscle tension. Visitors have raved about the effective massages that eased their pain, leaving them feeling heavenly. The attentive staff ensures a relaxing and comfortable experience, even accommodating late arrivals. The spa also offers excellent pedicures, foot scrubs, and gel nail services, all delivered with professionalism.
Very pleasant foot massage with soak and scrub. ~110 for an hour for massage in well maintained, clean salon.

We got a full body massage and left being far from satisfied. The massage bed was dirty and they let us rest on pillows that look like they haven’t been washed for years and it was so uncomfortable. The masseuse seemed inexperienced and the experience did not feel relaxing or comfortable at all. Our friends got foot massages that were apparently more decent but overall would not recommend this place and the prices are way higher than it should be.

I went to this spa to remove my gel polish. This was the only salon I found nearby that was offering this service but I am not pleased at all. I know that gel polish and the removal of it damages the nails, so I did not expect them to look perfect. However the electric nail file she used felt not nice at all. Sometimes it felt like my nails were burning and she nicked some of my skin off. I don’t have a lot of experience with this but I don’t think this is how it is supposed to go. After scratching off my layers of gel polish, also with a hand file, she said we were done. I still saw green spots of polish on my nails and I could feel the deep scratches of the file. This is not normal right? So I asked her to file with a less aggressive, smoother file and this resulted in the second picture. A much better result. I had to tell her that there were still spots of nail polish on my nails. Plus I noticed that one hand was done better than the other. In terms of how it looks, but also in how it felt. On my left hand there are more & deeper scratches on my nails and she hurt me more often on this side by touched my skin with the electric file. Normally I don’t really leave bad reviews but this salon lacks in skills. The end result of my right hand is actually quite nice so that why I gave 2 stars but that was not the result she wanted to send me home with which makes it so disappointing and a low rating. Rip off especially since it costs 49RM (almost 10 euros!) I do think that this treatment has potential. Please include a finer file and finish off with a moisturiser for nails or at least a wet wipe, the nails will look better. And be careful with skin and going over the same spot for too long.

Horrendous experience at this Spa. I booked to get waxed. When I got there. They told me to come back because they hadn't heated the wax (I made the booking 2 days prior). When I did start the treatment, the staff were completely unqualified. I told them to stop as they had no idea what they were doing The manager never replied to any of my massages afterwards. Do not go there !

Me and my friends went for pedicure and gel nails and we had one of our favorite vacation memories there! They did an awesome job, took more time for each of us than we could have ever hoped for and we’ve been chatting all the time. Incredibly friendly and caring staff and we all love our feet after the treatment :) Will come back for sure!

I had a lovely pedicure with gel polish at Soul Plants Awakening Spa today. Waawa was my nail artist, she was so kind and paid great attention to detail, she also gave me great tips on taking care of my nails. I paid 99RM in total for my treatment. Thank you! :)

Had my first full body spa experience here and it was okay. The masseuse was very sweet and asked me if the pressure was alright, she gave me enough time to prepare myself before coming in start the massage. Oh and full body actually did mean the entire body. There were some parts of the massage which I absolutely loved and some was just so-so. Overall, I enjoyed the massage, the lemon essential oils smells were really relaxing too. They even gave some tea at the end (I wasn't a big fan of it tho).

Don’t come here - unprofessional staff. Made an appointment at 5 PM for 6 PM the same day, as they didn’t have time at 5 PM. Waited an hour and came back at 6 PM, just to hear that I have to wait another 30 min as they were still fully booked. They didn’t care at all when we explained that we were just here and made an appointment with her colleague. We went to another place nearby.

Located near the Malibest Resort and opposite the Melati Tanjung Motel, Thai Spa offers a range of traditional Thai treatments and massages such as Thai herbal massage, waxing, Shiatsu, and reflexology at reasonable rates. Visitors can enjoy after-sun treatments, body waxing, shiatsu massages, and aromatherapy at this spa attached to the Malibest Resort. The skilled male masseuses provide strong massages that offer instant relief and relaxation.
Went twice, both times the massage was heavenly and I left feeling refreshed. Great value. Thank you very much!

I have had massage all over Asia, and have experienced different settings, approaches and therapists. For our last day on the island we chose Thai Spa for a full body/foot massage and basic pedicure. My masseuse was Rose and she provided an excellent massage with consideration to pressure and comfort. During the massage (next to my wife) there was no chatter between the therapists and I felt totally relaxed. We chatted during the foot massage about the Reflexology aspects and about cultural topics. I don’t usually have pedicures but after a month of travelling it felt great to “treat my feet”. Thank you so much Rose, you did a great job

Great massage. Went twice in two days. Especially the Thai massage by Ceah is perfect. She is so strong and good, especially while walking on the body and the stretches in a traditional Thai massage. Her hands are like magic. Go there and ask for Ceah.

This is a place I visit when my body feels heavy. I have been here more than 20 times, and the male masseuses are very strong and skilled. My shoulders are always tense, so I usually get a back massage for 40 minutes at 49 ringgit, and I also get a foot massage often. I don't know why the reviews are so bad, but sometimes the masseuses' chatter interrupts my relaxation time, so I give them 4 stars.

Avoid this place at all costs!!! I was STOLEN of €200 during a massage – the money disappeared from my wallet, which was placed under the bed in my bag, where the therapist insisted I leave it. The staff acted suspiciously – the woman pretended not to understand English, yet spoke fluently the next day. After I threatened to call the police, €150 magically “appeared” under the bed in front of me – clearly staged. I'm still missing €50 and they denied everything. There are other theft reviews on Google too. Don’t fall for it – stay away! There are many honest and trustworthy massage salons in Langkawi – choose wisely.

From up-close views of islands to unexpected wildlife encounters, the jet ski tours are described as both exhilarating and scenic.
Had a great time! It did take my breath away. But it wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. When I saw so many ppl in the boat, I thought, oh boy we’ll be out here forever. But midway, a boat came to take half the tourists back to shore. Everyone was nice and I could not pass up the opportunity. It was steal of a deal for this American. I highly recommend doing it at sunset. The video came out so well. Which, by the way, was included.

For all your water sport activities please check out Seeman watersports. Prices are very good, very affordable. If you want to rent sun loungers, jet skis, parasailing, sunset tours, banana boat & sofa boat. Book with this company. They’re THE best on the beach ( in my opinion) 😊

They were the safest in Pantai cenang if you want to go for water sports. They'll tell you honestly if the weather isn't up for the sports and if there is any issue they'll do their best to not spoil your vacation. If anyone wants to try any water sports in Pantai cenang, directly go to them. They are located right beside the stairs near the big Pantai Cenang wordings. For parasailing they offer drone video too but if you arent up for it, they will take few pics and video from the boat. But we have to request for that. Overall the best. The parasailing was for good 15 to 20 minutes.

The guys at Seeman were super quick in arranging me a single parasail. The team on the boat were very professional and ensured our safety before getting in the air. What an experience! They do take you up high! Bonus: you get a drone video of your time up there! Brilliant…

My sister-in-law did a jet ski activity with this company during her trip to Malaysia. While the activity itself went well, what followed was a real disappointment. On her return, she realized that her Hermès Oran sandals had been stolen on the spot. We immediately reported the theft, but the attitude of the managers was totally irresponsible. No help, no effort to understand or solve the problem. They were clearly indifferent, as if it didn't concern them. Non-existent customer service and a blatant lack of professionalism. ⚠️ I strongly advise against this company. There are plenty of more serious and customer-friendly service providers in Malaysia. Just got back from the 3 hour jet ski tour & wow it was unbelievable. The team where great from the start with the briefing they made the safety part super fun. We did all the main attractions like eagle island & monkey place but also some more secluded places where the main boats did not go. Our guide was super fun & made sure everyone had the best time it was truly a fantastic experience, I recommend highly taking this tour if you want to get away from the crowds. Controlling the jet ski is super easy & no licence is needed.

We did para sailing, jet ski and banana boat with the kids and we absolutely enjoyed all the activities. Lady boss was so friendly and kind, don’t judge her by the book, she look fierce and loud but is so warm hearted after chatting with her! They had drone video service and it’s highly recommended to get that, look at some clips of the video taken by the drone for us. Totally worth it and we’d definitely recommend here.

Located by the beach, Thirstday Bar and Restaurant offers a relaxed island atmosphere and delicious food. Run by two brothers, the restaurant features some dishes from the renowned seafood spot Orkid Ria, owned by their father. The butter or steamed garlic lobster is highly recommended while enjoying the beach view. Although prices are slightly higher than nearby establishments, they are justified by the quality of food, ambience, and service.
Best place beside beach to chill at night and great cocktails. Super relaxing, good crowd. Very friendly crews. Live music except Monday and the band was awesome. Clean and very fast service. They also serve food, tastes great. We stayed for about 5 days at Langkawi and been here every evening.

Super chill seaside bar behind Orkid with amazing live bands! And your drinks come in their own little chilling buckets. Drinks aren't too pricey - about RM20 for a pint. Pizzas are thin and crisp and superbly done. Service is excellent. Definitely non-halal. Yeah.

Very nice bar with view on the beach and sunset. You get free snacks as long as you are sitting there. The staff is very well organized! Mojitto was not the best i had but it was fine.

I enjoyed the sunset during my visit. Food is western style. The drink is cheaper as duty free state. No tax at all. Don't take ur meal near the exist as people will smoke there and you will smell it. The staffs are friendly, the toilet is clean, the food is okay. Overall I enjoyed that day I visited Langkawi. The music is good. Mostly this shop customer are from tourists. I spent RM 120 + RM10 tips for the dinner.

Breathtaking veiw of the beach and good taste of music. Nice vibe and crowd. Thier pizza is average, I did not like their deep fried prawns that much. The service is completely bad. We ordered twice for the drinks and they didn't bring us any. The other night they totally forgotten one of the foods! as the place was not busy at the time even. The good point is you can watch the football games in this place.
Farhad م — Google review
Great selection of drinks and food including vegetarian options. Right on the beach so great place if you want to watch sunset. Attentive staff. Most of the area is outside with a covered area out the back so just be aware of this Is weather is bad they play football on tv but not in a loud in your face way.

Was recommended this place by a friend who frequents here on a regular basis. Pizza, pasta and cocktails - what more could you want! Has a seated area under cover with fans and a big open aired area looking out onto the delightful white sandy beaches. Came in the evening to watch the sun set but unfortunately it was cloudy but a great view nonetheless. Beers come in 4 sizes, small, large, extra large and jug. Tiger beer is very reasonably priced compare to UK pint prices. Each beer comes in its own little ice bucket to keep it nice and cool which is a fantastic touch! Also had some nachos which were tasty and again, reasonably priced. Have been recommended the fillet mignon which I'm hoping to return to try another time. Overall, a great place right on the beach front, brilliant value and a even better views. Thoroughly recommend.

Restaurant
Located in the best area of Pantai Cenang beach on Langkawi, Huggin Hippo offers a good variety of Asian and Western cuisine. It is fresh and well cooked with adequate portions. The only downside is that it can take a bit longer for your food to arrive. However, the staff are helpful and polite making it an enjoyable experience overall.
Initially I came here for a coffee at the beach, but then came over and over again because of the staff and the atmosphere. They're kind, enlightening and add to the relaxing atmosphere. Oh, I didn't mention yet: the coffee is great! They also serve breakfast all day and you can have a good lunch, dinner or snack here. It's owned by a Malay that travels a lot and therefore combines some styles. You can also tell by the interior that he surely has been to Europe! Prices are rather European as well: 11 for a cappuccino, 20 for breakfast, 28 for burger - BUT the ingredients are fresh, of good quality and MSG free! The burger bun is homemade and so must be the patty - tasty & juicy. At some point I was surprised to find discounts on my bills - that's how they are being grateful for a guest coming regularly. Talking about atmosphere again: sitting outside in the shade of palm trees you enjoy the constant breeze of the ocean. While sipping your coffee you have the beach right in front of you. Listen to or watch the calm waves or see people riding their jetski. In the evening you can relish the beautiful sunsets as well. When visiting a place it's mostly the overall feeling of being there that makes me like it - this one hit the feels. Recommended :)

We had yesterday dinner and today lunch at Huggin Hippo. If I would only rate the food it would be between 4 and 5 stars, but I always rate the whole experience. We have been friendly greeted when we arrived and a table was given to us. Then we ordered and on the first there was no Mango juice and no more pizza dough. So I order pineapple smoothie, tomato soup and a Monte Cristo burger and my wife had a pineapple juice and a beef sandwich. The drinks where brought to us in a reasonable time but the main courses where brought separate. The taste was good and the quality too. Also on the downside was the waiting for the bill took at least 20 minutes. Today for lunch there was still no pizza dough but not marked in the menu. What we ordered today tasted also good but the staff could be warmer in general. Today the drinks came after our main courses. The prices are more on the higher end and sometimes not reasonable. We will not go there again, even So the food is good but the whole experience not so.

The food was ok, but not great. This is a cozy place for a snack and has a definitive hang loose atmosphere. The fried noodles were not declared spicy, but in fact were devilish hot. The ice cream in the display freezer were molten top and obviously refrozen - we abstained from trying.
Rubino G — Google review
The restaurant is located in the best area of the Cetang beach in Langkawi. They serve a good variety of Asian and Western cuisine. Although they do not sell alcohol, they have a good variety of beverages including fresh juices, teas and coffee. Food is fresh and well cooked. Portions are adequate and they offer a good value for money. Service is good. Staff are helpful and polite. The only problem, they are extremely slow. Expect your food to arrive a bit late. So you have time to enjoy the drinks.

Great Asian fusion food and western too! Reasonable price, and you have to check out the interior! The initiative to make it as cozy as possible makes it very welcoming. Very near to the beach as well, with white sandy beach and crystal clear sky makes it perfect as barbecue spot or even weddings!

We serendipitously walked into this quaint little cafe, not knowing what to expect. We were greeted with really warm hospitality and smiles all around. Great friendly staff, excellent food, paired with excellent coffee. Drop by if you're ever in town, stick around for the sunset. You won't regret it.

Great little cafe/restaurant, had local fish and chips which were delicious at a very reasonable price of £4. After reading all the other reviews I don’t understand why are people saying this place is better than burgers in the US. Firstly fries had NO seasoning not even salt, burgers were so tasteless the patties only tasted like meat no salt no pepper to enhance the flavours, pretty dry burgers couldn’t even taste the burger sauce. The order took 40mins despite having just two orders before us. Very very disappointed. No vibes no ambience. The food is just to make you full, if you’re coming here expecting to get good food, forever about it.

Tried the smokehouse double and mushroom swiss. The patties had a little bit of fat which seemed chewy sometimes but still the sauces and overall taste was really nice. You may have to wait 10+ mins for a table if you go there after 8:00pm.

The food absolutely SLAPPED🥵So good. We had the Smashed BBQ and Double cheese burger and it was a taste of home (UK). It’s seating is outside by the road as it’s a stall, but honestly if you’re looking for some tasty, dirty burger, this is where it’s at. (The fries that come with the burger combo aren’t seasoned, but they do seasoned fries separately if you want🙌🏼). Would recommend to any Brit in Langkawi, and anyone for that matter who likes this style of food !

When I read some of the reviews, I feel embarrassed on their behalf. If you want fresh burgers, sometimes you’ll have to wait a bit longer and yes, they also work with Grab. Showing respect is the least you can do when you’re on holiday and have time to spare. Some people act like they still have a race to run late at night. Anyway, grumpy tourists will always exist. Food: Delicious fresh burgers, I had the double cheeseburger and I loved it. The fries come with a slightly spicy tomato ketchup. Also loved that. Thanks, and please keep doing what you’re doing!

So good, in that this-cannot-be-good-for-my-body kind of way. Have been travelling around Asia for 4 months and this really satisfied a craving. Only a few low tables & folding chairs so go earlier (6-7) or get takeaway and go sit on the beach 👍🏾 A kid at another table got the chicken burger and it was as big as his head 😂 Would come back for sure!

Great burger ! Had the single beef burger. Taste better than most places in langkawi for a dinner option and in KL ! The added fried onion gave a good crunch to the burger. Will come back here if ever in langkawi.

Telaga Seafood Restaurant is a top choice for those seeking the best dining experience in Langkawi. Nestled in the midst of Pantai Cenang, this restaurant offers a serene tropical atmosphere shielded by lush foliage. The menu features a variety of Western and local dishes, including seafood delights like grilled fish, prawns, and crabs. Guests can enjoy their meals while taking in the stunning sea views.
The atmosphere of this place is quiet nice and chill. We ordered a lot of dish to eat together as a family and it was really good. The service was really friendly and efficient. The person who was in charged of our order is Rina! And she is very attentive and she even showed us the portion of crabs and prawns how it looks before its cooked. As for price it is a bit pricy

First of all, for those coming here for the first time, let me just say that the food here is quite pricey, so do not expect prices like RM8.50 per person as you would get in an ordinary restaurant. I have been here a few times already, maybe two or three visits, and in my opinion, this is one of the nice places to bring your family for a meal once in a while. The food tastes good, the portions are reasonable, and there are plenty of choices on the menu. It gives off a comfortable family-friendly vibe, which makes dining here more enjoyable. This time, I really want to highlight one of the waiters, who I believe is from Bangladesh. He was very patient and polite while attending to us, even though we took quite some time to decide on our food and drinks. He handled everything calmly, with a smile, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. There were many other good things he did that made our experience pleasant, but I will just keep it short here. Overall, if you have the budget, I would say it is worth bringing your family here. I am not saying this is the best restaurant in Langkawi, but it is definitely one of the better choices where you can enjoy a nice meal together.

This restaurant is a scam. From the outside of the restaurant all the way inside, there were buntings displayed promoting a set for 2 pax and 4 pax. We are 7 people in total, so we wanted to order 2 sets for 4 pax. The first foreign waiter came and said the 4 pax set costs RM260. I told him I wanted the set that was advertised at RM150. He said there’s no such price. Then I asked, why put up the bunting to promote it from outside the restaurant? He said that was the wrong price. I then asked to speak with a Malay waiter. That waiter said the price shown was the old one, from “lima” (long ago). So I asked, why not take down the bunting then? He answered, “Oh, we put it up to block the heat.” What a scam from such a so-called famous restaurant 🤣🤣 good luck scamming the next customer. In the end, I decided to get up and go to the restaurant right in front called Sandy Beach Restaurant. The sets displayed there are exactly the sets you can order. As for the taste, I’ll review that restaurant later.

the service was not that great. i had to go to the counter for ordering cause i called the waiter for so many times, they didn't seem around. the noodle was hard, not tasty. it seems like they only use salt to season their foods. no taste 🥲 and i soooo don't want to recommend the mussels. it's... unexplainable, but it's just not good.

First time eating seafood at Pulau Langkawi and gotta say for this restaurant, in my opinion the food was very delicious. Eventho my family have different opinions about it for me every single taste in there hits my taste buds well. Since i came at night, you can say the tables were moderately enpty but they are people in there eating. They even have a busker playing songs so the vibes were kinda chill. Overall i have a great time

I had a wonderful experience at this fish restaurant. - The fish was excellent, fresh - I ordered a a grilled fish out of the menu - The lemon juice was perfectly cold and refreshing - The bread is delicious - The staff were kind and welcoming, which made the atmosphere very pleasant. - At times, the service can be a little late, but the overall quality of the food and the friendliness of the team more than make up for it - The meal price is affordable I totally recommend this restaurant, the best in the street.
