Well the place gets busy by the night and graceful by the morning but always has a vibe there’s always a good view of islands but sometimes due to high tide you have to skip beach days.

Ao Nang Beach is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The water is calm, the sand is clean, and the views make it even more stunning. I loved walking along the beach, especially during sunset — the sky looks magical. The area is also very convenient with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. Local people are friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. A perfect place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the true beauty of Krabi. Highly recommended!

The town is quite peaceful. The beach is located across the town drive. Clean stretch of beach with beautiful shell and the beach is landmark. Loved the location and the scenic beauty. My personal advise is to stay in a hotel closer to beach and night market. You are always in the heart of all activities.

Lots of tourists and touristy stalls; the beach itself wasn’t very nice. The Monkey Trail was good, though, and the sunset view from the beach was nice. Ideal for a one-hour visit during sunset, but nothing more.

The cutest beach restaurant in Krabi! We came here for lunch and sat outside with the stunning sea view which was amazing. We ordered a spicy mango salad, morning glory stir fry, garlic & pepper pork and a prawn pad thai. All of the food came out very quickly, and the shrimps in the pad thai were probably the freshest ones I've got to taste so far in Thailand. The spicy mango salad was refreshing and spicy just at the right level - they can adjust the heat per request for some of the dishes, so make sure to ask if it's possible for the dishes you order. Although the menu is huge and offers a great variety, I'd recommend focusing on the thai dishes & seafood, as these are the ones that this place specializes at.

The food there was pretty delicious. Deep fried squid is best. But service is not a delightful experience to have. Waiter neither waitress were polite. Grumpy sour face. Not answering calls. The view is 💯 You take photo here, photo is like magic

Great beach side location, wonderful thai food, we ate here a couple of times whilst we were in Krabi and food was always consistently good quality. Get there early to nab a beach side table in the evening especially to appreciate the the sunset.

Beautiful place near the beach. For the sunset you can make a reservation. Otherwise you might sit somewhere in a second or third line which is fine but first row gets best view. Service - not so good, waitresses not so friendly and most of them doesn’t speak english. Food is ok. We ate crab curry (very spicy) and river prawns (you get only 3 prawns, so you better take garlic bread and a fresh salad on side). All in all not bad:)

We came here twice and loved it, great range of vegetarian food and meat dishes, really good vegetarian massaman curry and they have 3 dogs going around that looked well cared for by them which was great! Good cocktails

Every time I come eat here I feel like I am with my family , I have been eating here every day on this almost one month vacation . Food is healthy fresh and delicious . I love their beets , chicken with cinnamon and potatoes , everything is good , cheese cake is best sweet here for me , owner is great , just ask if you have any wish she will make it come true . Staff is like family I got to know them so well I feel so comfortable here like I am At home . We dined here five or six times during our month-long stay in Ao Nang, and the food was consistently pleasant. The Eggs Benedict served on a croissant was easily my favorite combination. While the Turkish eggs lacked a bit of spice in the chili oil and the pork belly portions seemed to decrease slightly over time, the pork belly itself always tasted fantastic. Overall, the experience never disappointed, and I would happily keep coming back again and again

Absolutely loved my visit to Café 8.98 in Ao Nang! I had the ACAI Bowl, Americano, Chicken Fajita, and Tropical Paradise Tea everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is super friendly, and the quality is top-notch. Highly recommended a must-try spot for anyone in Ao Nang!

Must-Visit in Krabi! 8.89 Krabi is easily one of the best breakfast spots I’ve hit on this trip. The vibe is clean, relaxing, and welcoming the moment you walk in but the real star? The French toast. I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working in that kitchen, but their French toast is on a whole different level. Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and topped with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s the kind of dish you take one bite of and immediately know you’re coming back tomorrow. Honestly… it might be the best French toast I’ve ever had anywhere. If you’re in Krabi and want something that hits the spot every single time, 8.89 Krabi is the move. Amazing food, great service, and that French toast that deserves its own fan club. Highly recommend!

We have visited the Phi Phi chain of this restaurant on several occasions and really enjoyed our meals so we were extra disappointed with this meal in Krabi. Spaghetti Bolognese seemed like a reheated meal and was not good quality which was surprising as I had eaten this in Phi Phi and really enjoyed. The Korean chicken was a very small amount of chicken and large amount batter, a really disappointing meal which I did not finish. Staff were friendly but service was slow and after paying and using the bathroom the food was still on the table, I would have used that opportunity to provide feedback to wait staff but they did not check on us during the meal - I did not say it while paying as did not think it was fair for other customers to hear as could have been a bad night for the restaurant. However I would not go back due to standard of food served to us.

The staff is extremely welcoming and professional, and the meals feature truly excellent and varied quality ingredients. I return regularly because I find the place absolutely top-notch. Thank you to the whole team!

Visiting the Krabi Night Market was a really fun experience! The atmosphere was lively with music, local vibes, and lots of small stalls full of food and souvenirs. We enjoyed several different street food dishes together, and the total price was only 10.8€ – which clearly shows how much cheaper Thailand is compared to Belgium. The food was tasty, freshly prepared, and there was plenty of variety to choose from. Even though it rained quite a lot during the day, the market still had a cozy and vibrant feel. Definitely worth a visit if you want to experience authentic local food at very affordable prices!

A very clean night market as SE Asian night markets go with its own space rather than having to block off streets and deal with passing traffic. It obviously caters to tourists and there is food for all tastes including some very unusual vendors, like the folks serving crocodile meat burgers and kebabs. Food is relatively cheap and delicious and you could eat here every night to save money as there’s a lot of outdoor seating. There’s also a clothing and souvenir section that makes bargain hunting fun and you are expected to haggle. Parents can find amusements for kids, the area is surrounded by bars, there’s Thai kickboxing and live music too. Altogether, a fun place to spend time with the friendly vendors after a day of exploring the many islands.

We spent three nights around the Ao Nang night market, and it was a really nice local experience. The food was great most dishes were around 100 Baht per serve, with plenty of options to try each night. There’s always something happening ; live local music, small shows, and even wrestling events that add to the fun vibe. The local people were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also bought a shirt for 300 Baht. The clothes are a bit more expensive compared to Bangkok, but still reasonable for a tourist spot. Overall, a fun and authentic local experience , great food, great atmosphere, and friendly people!

I absolutely loved the Ao Nang Landmark Night Market — it’s such a vibrant and lively spot! The ambience buzzes with energy, filled with the sound of live music and the aroma of sizzling street food. From mouthwatering Thai dishes to quirky little souvenirs, there’s something for everyone. I spent hours just soaking in the cheerful chaos — eating, exploring, and enjoying the friendly vibe that makes this market one of Ao Nang’s most memorable experiences.

A really nice market with live performances. At 9 PM there are amazing fire shows! The seating area is well organized they actually ask people who stand up to move if they block the view, which really impressed me. Great and varied food, shakes, cocktails, kids’ activities, small cars for rent, inflatables, and more all at reasonable prices.

It’s an interesting place to visit when in Ao Nang. You can buy there clothes, toys, souvenirs and food. Big selection in good prices. However, many sellers do not want to give any discount (what is common in the other (day) market in Ao Nang). For example good quality lady trousers for 200 baht. That’s a bargain. In Koh Phi Phi automatically the price is doubled. Live music (at least on Saturday night). The place itself is quite big.

Great experience at the night market. Plenty of people but very friendly (and family friendly) atmosphere. Lots of delicious food options and other market stalls with the usual array of Thai goods. The fire dancers show was spectacular. Highly recommended night out in Krabi.

A cute family authentic Thai restaurant, very close to Krabi's main road. We came here for lunch and had a great experience! We were seated quickly and the food we ordered arrived even faster, which was very nice. We ordered a papaya salad, stir fried morning glory, sea-bass fish fillet with Thai herbs and a green curry - everything was delicious and very well made, just as you'd expect from a restaurant ran by a family. The only downside I think is important to mention is that they have no running water in the toilet (not in the toilet itself in order to flush the water, and not in the toilet sink, so you have to wash your hands with water from a barrel they filled in advance, which I found a bit gross).

Hidden jem. One of the most Popular grill in town. Everything Yummy and reasonable. Friendly stuffs speak fluently English. Great English menu with photoes. Reccomend Mixed fruit plate as dessert only B100. It's not delux, but warm-hearted atmosphere. It will be your best memory. I visit once a year from Japan.

The reviews are real. Nine of is went twice and we really enjoyed our dinners. Reasonable prices and quality food. The banana in milk dessert was a bit too sweet. Overall, a great experience.

Restaurant is a little off the main road but still easy to find. Large variety of dishes with meat, seafood and vegetarian options. Swapping meat dishes to a dish with tofu was no problem. Papaya salad was great. Pad Thai and Khua Kling can also be recommended.

When we arrived, it was starting to rain heavily and it was late, so we were the only customers at the restaurant. The owner welcomed us and we were seated in the balcony outside. The owner and his staff are very friendly. We ordered Vegetables nachos, french fries, beef and chicken burrito with pink sauce and chicken quesadillas. When they knew that I like beef and my wife likes chicken, they offered to make the burrito two halves so we could eat both. The portions are big and the dishes are delicious. When we were done and wanted to leave and it was still raining, they called the tuk tuk driver for us to come pick us since the the restaurant is in a quite secluded street. I toally recommend this restuarant if you want to try Tex-Mex cuisine in Krabi.

Super delicious authentic Mexican food. Some of the best barbacoa I’ve ever had. Everything is made in-house: tortillas, salsa, you name it. Really tasty sangria too. The owner is from Guadalajara and is very friendly. We chatted about how he imports his chilies from Mexico. If you’re in the mood for great Mexican food you should check this place out!

Great Tex-Mex by Thai standards but as a Texan only a bit above average. I had the chimichangas. They could have used a lot more cheese and refried beans. Service was good and the atmosphere friendly.

Ordered fried fish sweet and sour. It was one of the best fish ever tasted. Fish was big, tender and the sauce is exceptional. The tom yum was good! Asked for medium spicy and they totally nailed it. Definitely recommend!

Had an amazing dining experience at Zaika Indian Restaurant in Ao Nang, Krabi! The food was absolutely delicious — the butter chickenwas rich, creamy, and bursting with authentic North Indian flavors, perfectly complemented by their soft, buttery naan. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming — a great place to relax and enjoy a hearty meal after exploring Ao Nang. No A/C, sweaty and uncomfortable. Didn't feel clean, quite a tacky restaurant with unimpressive food lacking much flavour. Maybe the waiter saw we were foreign and assumed we didn't want any spice. But our experience didn't match any of all the 5 star reviews I read about this restaurant.

Food was good. Service excellent. Cleanliness excellent. I forgot to take food pictures. I ordered roti with matar paneer. They made sure that I have the spice level exactly what I wanted. Taste was on the top. Taking one star less because lassi felt too sweet but as an Indian living outside, it felt a bit sweet. Staff is very kind and polite. Highly recommend.

This Thai Indian restaurant is a simple spot. Its not too far from the boat ferry ticket point on the far left end of Ao Nong beach. I found the food average to good. I had the butter chicken which was rather bland but the garlic naan was excellent. The chicken biriyani was nice and cooked to a western palate with not too much spice at all. The chef also recommended these speciality dishes which are very popular at the restaurant: chicken biriyani, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, garlic naan and cheese naan. Pilau rice and jeera rice are also popular. For dessert try the mixed fruit and ice cream. The Thai menu includes: pad thai, fried rice and vegetable spring roll. There is a vegetarian set menu for 270 baht and a non-vegetarian menu for 360 baht. The staff are chatty and cordial at this restaurant. There is an alcohol bar for non-tea tottlers like me. Happy hour runs from: 11am - 9pm with cocktails and a full bar available at the restaurant for non-tea totters like me. A good selection of wines are available. This dining spot is open from 11am - 11pm. The price range here is medium range.

Video Games! 3 machines: Pacman, Street Fighter 2 and Galaga. All 3 would be classic by themselves, but you can switch the games and play over 350 different classic video games on them, for FREE! All you have to do is buy a delicious drink. They have soundproof walls that block out the bad live music from next door, so you can listen to the funk, soul and classic RnB they play. Go have a good time at this place.

The must stop if you are planning on going to any bar in Ao Nang. The staff are all amazing. So friendly and professional. Their bartenders made some of the best Martinis and Bloody Mary's I have ever had. Great music is always playing and they have some classic arcade games to test yourself on. Head there on Wednesday (ladies night). You won't be disappointed with the staff and activities.

Attracted by the naughty captions hanging by the shop front and the cool tune playing, we decided to check out this bar which turns out to be the only cocktail bar in Krabi. The friendly hosts, Jen, Bus and owner Alex make this place welcoming and we felt safe to hang out here as 2 single ladies. There are 3 retro arcade game machines which you can play with compliment. We ended up coming back to this place every night.

Well the view from the island was stunning, but it was overcrowded and there were food outlets but food was not good. Front side of the beach was neat and clean but the other side was horrible, it looks like everyone is dumping waste on the beach only. You can enjoy swimming also Overall it was good.

Turquoise blue waters, peaceful and joyful vibes, a clean island with plenty of good food especially halal options. Public washrooms were also well-maintained. You can rent a boat or take on tours or just stay there for a night as plenty of hotels are present as well. A must visit with family or as a couple to enjoy this place. Best to visit in the winters to enjoy less crowd around.

Phi Phi Don – lively, larger, and full of energy! 🌴⚓ Phi Phi Don is the main and largest island in the Phi Phi group. It’s the only one with hotels, restaurants, and local life — so it definitely feels more active and busier than the smaller islands. We stopped here for lunch during our island tour, and it was a nice break. The island has plenty of boats anchored along the shore, giving it a lively and colorful vibe. From a distance, it looks absolutely beautiful with its green hills and turquoise water. It’s a good place to explore if you enjoy a mix of nature and local energy, but don’t expect peace and quiet — Phi Phi Don is all about movement, people, and island life in full swing! 🌺⛵✨

Have a quick stop here for lunch. The island is quite huge and there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, convenient stores and hotels available here. There are a lot of people staying here too. The view is nice, the beach is beautiful. It is also a stop point for those who are on the phi phi island snorkeling trip. I had a lunch here and it was superb. It was super busy during lunch time.

Never, under any circumstances, should you feed the monkeys. Human food is harmful to them and directly leads to aggressive behavior and potential bites, which require immediate medical attention and rabies shots. Furthermore, please be vigilant with all personal belongings. These monkeys are notorious thieves and will snatch anything shiny, loose, or resembling a food container—including water bottles, sunglasses, and bags. Keep everything zipped and secured, preferably in a dry bag, and maintain at least a three-meter distance at all times. Visit early to beat the crowds, observe quietly, and help keep this incredible natural area pristine. The beauty here is undeniable, provided you prioritize safety and respect the wildlife's space.

This was a really cool thing to see- the monkeys come out when they know there’s food. I did however want to throw some people in the water that think it’s okay to 1) touch the monkeys or try and pull their tails or 2) splashing water on them. Like leave them alone if you can’t be nice. Some tourists should not be allowed to be tourists. It was a really beautiful area too.

picturesquely beautiful like other beaches in the region ! beach is very small with the cliffs starting almost immediately you land. No shops or people other than tourists, but it can get pretty crowded. And yeah you will see a lot of monkeys playing around !

This is one of the most famous Monkey Beaches, a picturesque cove on the southwestern side of Phi Phi Don Island. It features white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and is home to a population of wild macaque monkeys. Visitors often reach it by long-tail boat or rented kayak from Tonsai Bay and enjoy swimming and snorkeling there.

Spotlighting the white sands, clear waters and ofcourse it’s monkeys. Monkey beach is comparitavely small, secluded stretch of sand fringed by limestone cliffs. But the monkeys can be aggressive and unpredictable and feeding them is not allowed risk of theft or bites one have to be careful. Monkey Beach is undeniably a highlight of Phi Phi Don- a beautiful and exotic spot where playful macaques bring a wild energy to paradise.

Okay, the beach is beautiful, white sands and nice cliffs. However, the monkeys will steal anything you have. We took a canoe and I got my dry bag and my friend her backpack, but my grocery bag was still in the canoe with of course no food. They tore it open anyway (just to find sandals). We stood in the water too terrified to do anything. Also another monkey took a water bottle from another canoe and opened it. To conclude: monkey Beach is nice from a distance or without bag!!

Maya Bay is one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever visited. The sheer beauty of this iconic beach exceeded all my expectations, and it’s easy to see why it became so famous after being featured in The Beach. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I’d stepped into a postcard-perfect paradise. The first thing you notice is the dramatic limestone cliffs that surround the bay, creating a sense of secluded serenity. The turquoise water is so clear you can see the sandy bottom even from the boat. The sand is soft, powdery, and incredibly white—perfect for walking barefoot. The lush green landscape adds to the dreamlike vibe of the place. To help preserve its natural beauty, access to Maya Bay is now limited and boats aren’t allowed to dock directly on the beach. This system is a fantastic way to protect the ecosystem, but it also means you’ll need to swim or wade a short distance from the boat. Honestly, it’s worth the effort. I really appreciated the environmental efforts in place. There are signs everywhere reminding visitors not to litter or disturb wildlife, and some areas are roped off to protect the coral reefs. Our guide shared a lot about the bay’s history and its ecological importance, which made me feel like I was contributing to preserving this beautiful spot for the future. It was both peaceful and exciting at the same time. it’s an experience. The stunning scenery, the crystal-clear water and the feeling of being surrounded by nature make it unforgettable. Even though it’s popular and can get crowded, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Phuket. A quick tip , bring a waterproof bag for your things, wear reef-safe sunscreen and don’t forget your camera. Trust me, you’ll want to remember every moment here.

Extremely popular and iconic beach, The sand is so soft, at the moment you are not permitted to swim in the bay in an effort to conserve the sharks. An inteseting walk from the docking area to the actual beach. Well worth a visit.

It’s an extremely beautiful beach, unfortunately destroyed by mass tourism. We departed for Maya Bay at 9:30 and arrived around 10:30, which turned out to be already way too late. Just hordes of tourists, you had to “wait in line” for your turn to take a picture/selfie of this superb beach. Sharks are there, too, so don’t go in too deep. In order to get the vibe of this beach, you need to arrive like at 8am or earlier, I guess.

Incredibly beautiful and very well-maintained. Although the place gets extremely crowded and everyone seems to be in a rush, it still remains neat, clean, and truly worth visiting.

This bay is absolutely breathtaking!! The water is so blue and the scenery around is beautiful! I was also lucky enough to see a black tip reef shark! Only problem is the crowds. I even went at 6am and there were still crowds. I would recommend just going in the afternoon so you can really get the full electric blue water experience. The crowds are the same no matter what.

Maya Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches and islands I've ever seen in my life. We were lucky enough to take a tour before sunrise, leaving at 5:30 AM, and arriving just as the island opened, so we had it all to ourselves. The beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and dramatic cliffs surrounding it. While swimming is not allowed to protect the environment, it's the perfect place to enjoy the surroundings and admire the breathtaking landscape in peace. If you have the chance to visit, going early in the morning is highly recommended for a tranquil experience.

Had an amazing experience coming to this island as part of the Maya Bay boat trip in May 2025. I only wish I could have spent longer here! The 360-degree view from the island was simply stunning as you could see all the islands and mainland in the distance surrounding Bamboo Island. Also, the snorkelling there is the best! There were so many fish of all types of tropical varieties! The sand was white and water turquoise, crystal clear, and next time, im just gonna get a boat straight to this island and spend the day there. 😎

Beautiful little simple island with white sand and nice small cafe. Walking around this made us feel a sense of calm rarely experienced. In vase you want to go for some shallow water snorkelling, thats an option. But we just walked looking around taking in the views.

A final stop for the phi phi island tour. The island is so small compared to Phi Phi Island but still crowded. A lot of visitors come here to swim, picnic, relax and eat. There are also a few stalls available to buy food and snacks. The toilet is also provided here. The island is so clean and the beach is wide. There is a designated place to swim but wearing a life jacket is mandatory for whatever the reasons it may be. The weather is good here but quite hot during sunny days. The sand is very white and soft. You can see the shore from here and a few other islands. Just love it

Beach is nice with white sand. However it can be deep at some spots. Too crowded however. Nearby washrooms and eatery place. Also great spot for snorkeling. My kids saw small shark and big eels. Lots of fish to see but unfortunately corals are mostly damaged.

Beautiful white sand, safe bouyed off areas that allow snorkeling. Usually find reef and baby sharks (harmless to humans). Bring food and or drink. Insanely expensive here (obviously). Saw an Asian water monitor, second largest lizard on the planet, was cool. Birds hang out and steal human food, was also lovely to watch.

On of the most beautiful cave and beach in Thailland. You have to go to Railey froM AO NANG via boat and walk around 15 minutes to reach here. This place has beautiful sandy beach with good waves to relax on. The cave has a shrine where people come to workship for fertility. The cave was made to worship Lord Shiva from Hindusim. Next to it its a beach. Becareful as there will be alot of boats with tour group packages that can make it very crowded.

Visited princess cave around early morning 6:30 am with absolutely no one around. You can have the entire beach with stunning views all to yourself. We stayed in a resort nearby and walked to the princess cave in the morning. In later parts of the day, there are tourists who would visit the beach through boats. So, it's best to visit early. Don't miss out the secret beach that appears in low tide at the beach end next to Bat cave

Princess cave or Phra Nang cave is situated in railay. Once you get down at railay, walk through cave like structure about 10 mins and you reach a beautiful beach and this beautiful cave. The locals worship this cave and preach for the blessings. The beach is also very clean

We booked a ferry from Krabi to Railey Beach. There is a little booth near the docks that sell the tickets and tell you the hours that the ferries run. Once a wooden dragon boat is full it heads out. The boat ride was awesome. Open air and smooth. It was one of my favorite parts island hopping during our trip. When we arrived we wondered until we found a hotel that served breakfast. There was a reasonably priced buffet and we ate there. We spent a few hours at the beach, swimming and enjoying the sun. We saw the rain coming and decided to head to bar and grab a drink. Overall it was a great day, and I highly recommend.

We took long tail boat from Ao Nang at 8:30. We were there before 8:00 but if a group came, they had priority. It was a bit chaotic how the boatmen were organizing the boats. After 30 min we could board. It took 15min and cost 100bhat per person. We were 12 on the boat. When coming back there was 1 more couple waiting. Each of us paid 200 baht and we could go immediately back. West Railay beach is nice with stunning views. Inside the “village” it’s already a bit messy. To go there for 1-day trip ok but I wouldn’t stay there for longer. For cat lovers just check the pictures 😻

Really gorgeous beaches, yummy food, wildlife, and almost everything you need. Cool hippie vibes by the west side. I enjoyed the place and was only there for a few hours. Would love to come back and stay on this side of Krabi for a few days.

Beautiful spot. The swim area towards the cliff has a quite rocky bottom and is shallow at low tide. Further towards the boats the bottom has far more sand and is a nicer walk out to swim.

Railay beach is so beautiful. Especially during the sunset days. They have beautiful long tail boats and the scenery looks wonderful. You can get the long tail boats from Ao Nang to Railay Beach at 200 return. Last boat is at 6.30 PM. Get a boat so you will catch the sunset.

Gorgeous beach but recommend carrying beach shoes to avoid getting hit by rocks especially when going for a swim. The water is nice and warm and sandy patches are good on the beach.

The beach is really relaxing with magnificent views. Has lots of stuff to do, do not stay there for 1 day, stay for more. There is so much to do and see. The first priority place that I'll recommend to you if you will go to Krabi. You can only get there by boat. Its a piece of land surrounded by mountains and cliffs. You will need to pay if hotel doesn't provide a free boat to your destination.

A Must-Visit for Unforgettable Ambiance! This restaurant boasts an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. If you can time your visit around sunset, you'll be treated to an even more spectacular experience. Being inside a cave, it felt refreshingly cool, and I noticed significantly fewer mosquitoes, which was a huge plus. While the prices are on the higher side, both the food and the incredible ambiance made it thoroughly satisfying. The live music played by a session band inside the cave truly enhanced the overall mood. My only minor disappointment was the service, which wasn't as friendly as I'd hoped. I didn't experience the same level of hospitality here that I encountered elsewhere at the resort. Despite that, I still highly recommend this restaurant for a unique and memorable dining experience.

Nestled inside a cave right by the beach, the atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind—romantic, peaceful, and with a breathtaking view of the ocean and limestone cliffs. Need reservations in advanced and be the guest of the Rayawadee resort. Not many tables. You will have the quality and excellent taste of foods in the menu. All staffs are very welcome.

Overpriced rubbish food! Let’s start with the positives, it’s a cute spot to be in and the staff were right enough, but do not go for food. It’s terrible! My pasta dish looked reheated and the mussels were so dry I couldn’t eat them. Probably the worst pasta dish I’ve been served. After seeing the other reviews I’d dread to think what the seafood platter would be like! Such a shame! Especially as it’s in a 5 star resort. Maybe opt for just a drink.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and decided to sit down because we were drawn to the fruit displayed outside and the spacious, airy atmosphere. The service was good, and the food was delicious. We also had two fruit shakes, which were exquisite. While we were eating, we could see monkeys playing on the cables outside—it was a wonderful experience.

Excellent food for similar prices to other places on the street. Ate here twice during our stay at Railay. The neighboring restaurant always seemed to be full compared to this one, but both times we ate here the food was delicious.

A small, cozy cafe with excellent food and very polite service! They even substituted some ingredients upon request! We ordered hummus and baba ganoush for appetizers—we loved them! For mains, we had beef kebab and chicken breast—very tasty! I highly recommend it.

I have seen many magical beaches in my life, but in my opinion this is one of the most scenic beaches ever. The walking route towards the beach (through semi-caves) is also beautiful and well maintained. I loved the old trees and their roots and the fact that you are walking in the shade of the mountain. Try to visit the beach when it is low tide, you will be able to walk along the coast and see many semi-caves.

Amazing beach. Walk path there takes you along the cliffs where you see all kinds of cool formations. If you're going to Railey don't miss this gem just a short walk away.

Phranang Cave Beach or Phranang Cave Bay is the beautiful beach with Limestone Mountain and cliff. At the end of path will have cave that surrounding of white sand and clear sea. In the morning will be full of Thai and foreigner tourists. At here, it good for swim or enjoy with other activities on the beach such as cliff climbing, sunbath, kayaking, see the sunset, volleyball and football, etc.

For me this beach was meh. It was crowded. I have visited many beach in the area and none were this crowded. I wouldn't go back; plenty of other beautiful beaches to spend time on.

We got the long tail boat from Ao Nang to the west side of the beach. 200 BAHT return. You walk through a forest path, to get to the east side and then another walk through a forest path to get to the beach.

Scenic beach. The view is so stunning with limestone (karst towers) on the sea and by the beach. Nature is amazing here. Enjoyed our sun-bathing time here :)

We had a pit stop here as we only realised this beach on our last hour before our ferry back to Ao Nang but so glad to have discovered this beauty. Totally recommend if you’ve more time and try to avoid any food at all especially hot food etc as monkeys would love that haha.

Nice walk to a secluded beach. We started after 1pm in a sunny day and the start of the trail was full of monkeys. Adults, small and babies playing, chasing each other, jumping to the trees or even swimming in a pool of water on the beach. If we didn’t attract them, they didn’t pay attention to us. The trail is not maintained much so be cautious. You go up and then down to the beach. The path wasn’t crowded (beginning of November). On the beach you can have a coconut water. The beach was nice, nice views to the sea but there is a construction site (building) on the beach so it was noisy sometimes. A “must see” :): in the trees you can find white spectacled langurs. The trail is definitely worth visiting. :)

Monkey Trail… or Monkey Gauntlet? 🐒😂 I was super curious to try the Monkey Trail in Ao Nang, but let me warn you—the name is no joke! Right at the entrance, there were tons of monkeys, and if you’re carrying snacks or drinks, they will definitely notice. I saw some of them aggressively trying to snatch food, and honestly, it felt a bit unsafe. The trail itself is a wooden walkway with quite a few steps and is supposed to offer lovely views along the way… But I didn’t get far. 😅 Between the monkeys and the intimidating start, I gave up early and turned back. 💡 Tips if you’re planning to go: Don’t carry food in your hands or open bags. Avoid eye contact and stay calm if they approach. Consider visiting early in the day when it might be less crowded (and less monkey-chaotic). I might try again another time, but for now… this trail wasn’t for me!

Monkeys will jump on you if you stay still. Try to take your stuff and examine you. But not in a aggressive way. Please don't feed them! So they will stay that way. The trail is very steep at some points. Be careful.

The monkeys are playful and there are plenty. We had no issues with them. The trail is medium difficult, there are steep stairs but not too many. The hidden beach would be great but there is a construction right now so it is very noisy. If the tide is low, it is possible to go back in the see but do it at your own risk.

Cool little walk, fun walking the boards, the steps can be steep certainly at the opposite end to Ao Nang beach at the end of the trail down to the beach. Great view on the little beach at the end beneath the mountain cliff face. Didn't see any monkeys though...?!? 👍

We did not feel super safe walking this trail but at least a connection between those two beaches by foot exists. Would not recommend going super late after the sun sets as they did not turn any lights and it gets quite dark. There’s quite a few monkeys but not any that attacked us. It takes about 10 minutes and the way gets quite steep so it is recommended to be in good shape.

⭐⭐⭐ Oh, Monkey Trail in Ao Nang, Krabi—what a wild, wacky, and slightly terrifying adventure. My girlfriend and I were pumped to hike this trail this morning (August 24, 2025), expecting a fun jungle jaunt. Instead, we walked straight into a monkey showdown at the entrance, surrounded by a literal landfill of trash. 😱 Plastic bottles, straws, cups—it looked like a post-apocalyptic monkey picnic gone wrong. We couldn’t wrap our heads around the litter chaos. As we approached the trailhead, we were greeted by a furry flash mob—dozens of monkeys swinging from trees, running on the ground, rummaging through trash, and then eyeballing us like we’d strolled into their turf. Most were chill, with adorable baby monkeys tumbling around, riding on mamas back, and looking like tiny fluffballs of cuteness. But then, out of nowhere, a massive, beady-eyed male monkey—let’s call him King Kong’s cranky caffeinated cousin—locked onto my girlfriend’s Thai tea like it was the Holy Grail. This dude charged her with the intensity of a caffeinated linebacker. 😬 Fearing a scratch or a chomp from this furry fiend, she threw her plastic cup (complete with straw, lid, and carrier) to the ground. King Kong Monkey pounced, slurped that Thai tea like a frat bro at caffeine happy hour, and left the plastic carnage behind. Mystery solved: the monkeys are the masterminds behind this trashpocalypse! 🙈 Here’s a pro tip: don’t bring plastic bottles and snacks or drinks unless you want to donate them to the monkey mob. The trail is short, you will survive without a water bottle for 1 hour. Leave the plastic items at the hotel and help keep this beautiful area clean and trash free. Krabi, please, we’re begging you—clean up this landfill of an entrance. It’s 2025, we’re almost sending astronauts to Mars, but we can’t invent a monkey-proof trash can? Come on, city officials, hire a worker to warn tourists or build some Fort Knox-level garbage bins before the monkeys start their own recycling empire. 🗑️ Once we escaped the monkey gauntlet and hit the trail, things took a turn for the better. The trail itself was clean, monkey-free, and a legit workout. Yes, monkey trail is monkey free because all the monkeys wait for you to enter the trail and steal your plastic wrapped food and drinks - not a single monkey after venturing 40 feet into the trail! But, Those steps—oh, those endless steps—had us huffing and puffing like we were training for the Stairmaster Olympics. Keep moving, must keep moving though, or the mosquitoes will treat you like an all-you-can-eat buffet. 🦟 The hike was fun, sweaty, and rewarding, with jungle vibes that made us feel like Indiana Jones (minus the treasure, sadly). Lots of selfie photo spots, but don’t stop too long or you will be a main course for the mosquito buffet! Overall, the trail itself was a blast, but the trash-strewn, monkey-mobbed entrance was a nightmare. Three stars for the workout and jungle charm, but Krabi, please save this place from becoming a monkey-run dump! We had fun, but we’re still shaking from that Thai tea caffeinated King Kong heist. 😅 🐒 🙈 🐵

Absolutely amazing! The Madras here was truly orgasmic – hands down the best I’ve ever tried. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place just has a great atmosphere. Even before you taste the food, the smell draws you in and makes your mouth water. Every bite was bursting with flavour. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Ao Nang – it’s a must-try!

The food here is not bad. It’s one of these tourist Indian places where they serve everything: from North to South, from East to West and of course Thai food. And oh: Italian food, too. But the vindaloo I ordered was quite good. But what is really good here is the service. The team was super attentive and nice. And quick. Every one of them.

We just wanted something simple for brunch and we weren’t disappointed - lightest and largest dosai with 3 different sauces and full of potato dhal. We also ordered roti and dhal. Delicious masala chai. A shame that there were not many other customers although it is a big space.

Best food we had on Krabi hands down. Went here 4 times. Butter chicken and garlic naan is the best I’ve ever had. Mango sticky rice is elite here! We tried a lot all over Thailand and we came back everytime for it. Go here you won’t be disappointed

After having unpleasant experience at Bombay Palace, Krabi bit unsure to have food at any restaurant on the same street. But visiting Taj palace was different. We had good time here. Good food. One of the rare restaurant I found serving food hot and it makes the food taste good and make you to eat one more bread. Highly recommended hotel to all visiting Krabi !!!

This place does good food but is a little more pricey as it is western food. The taste of all food items was great and the ingredients are clearly fresh. All of our food arrived at the same time and was warm. The servers are polite and kind. I came during low season so a reservation was not necessary but in high season I recommend placing one. Keep in mind opening hours for the kitchen are 5pm-945pm so don’t arrive too late! The one complaint I have is that when asking for dressings the serving sizes presented were very small, it would be nicer if they had balsamic vinegar and olive oil present on every table for guests to use as they please.

Visited Caesar’s Pizza in Ao Nang and each of us ordered our own pizza (there were three of us). Hands down, it was the best pizza we’ve had. It’s tucked away down a small side street, but absolutely worth seeking out. Definitely recommend.

Caesars Pizza Ao Nang – Had the Spicy Salama pizza for dinner, and it was very good! The lemon tart was also excellent. Lasagna and cheesecake, not so much. Plenty of reserved tables, so get there early if you want a spot. Overall, a solid choice for pizza in Ao Nang! EDIT: We ordered take-away pizzas, both were excellent. Even convinced them to let us have the lemon tart take-away as well, upped it to 4 stars

If I can say one line ... I have visited Italy and I can say this that the pizza here beats most Italian pizzas in Italy.. so guys please don't miss it . P.S. pls ask the waitress for their no1 and no 2 pizzas .. we tried their no 2 pizza with burratta cheese .. and we fell in love instantaneously .. cheers . Happy eating .

Best Italian food I’ve had since my wife and I visited Rome!! 100% recommend! We were in Thailand for 8 days and had three awesome meals there. Can’t recommend high enough!

Pier for Long tail boats. Your tour operator will drop you by taxi here for island tours. Their staff will connect you with the right boat staff. Climbing in / out of long tail boat takes effort. You have a get in / out on small dinghy ladder. Recommend to book boat for private / group tours. Boat is very stable in choppy water or in rains. Tours may include lunch. All boats will serve fruits in afternoon.

Crowded, commercial and a big mess. So don't loose the tour guides. They all have different colot shirts, so be sure you know your group.

You get there on a cab and book tickets. They have 7 options starting from only james bond tour to a combination of 6 7 islands and caves. It starts with 2500 baht for a boat [good to take it 8 to 10 people]. Goes till 5000 baht. It was a great trip, the boat we took was longtail and was very budget friendly.

We took the ferry to Phi Phi island from here. It is a super busy place during the day, but much calmer in the late afternoon. There is a nice beach on the other side of the pier, in maybe 10 min walk distance with a peaceful bay.

Lots of boats but it would be better if Indrive car could pick us up. Port/pier should be transportation hub. He was scared of coming here. We had to meet him outside. Presumably due to local taxi mafia.

Situated in Nopparat Thara beach is the pier where speedboats from phuket pier and phi phi docks. Many of the tours like four island tours, tour operators start from this pier. Bit crowded as there are no proper docking stands and one may have to directly board or Deboard from boat to sand. The parking is walkable distance but grab/bolt cabs won't come inside. You need to walk almost half a kilometer outside the pier where they will offer pickup. The taxis inside won't allow grab/bolt to enter and pickup passengers. Toilet facility available at premise and also small café for quick bites.

Night market in Krabi is an excellent place to spend your time in the evenings. Has all kinds of food stalls. With very good menu options for all. You can shop eat and listen to live music and get your children to play.

Apart from the eateries, there are fun play sections for the kids. Bouncy castle, etc right in the center of the Night Market. Plenty of Shopping options, but we've seen better prices and variety in markets in Bangkok. Frankly only exciting things were hand carved and hand made items. Didn't get a chance to click more photos, but you'll get the gist. Oh! Before I forget there’s also a Muai Thai Boxing Arena in the night market, they charge about 1200baht for entry.

Great market! Typical street food, vendors, and lots of people. They do live music and have many tables to sit and eat/hangout.

I had read that Reeve was a must go to because of the food and fire dancer show. I put it on my list to do because I wanted to see "real" fire dancers. Reeve did not disappoint. Absolutely an amazing experience, and I'd say one of the best experiences I have had in Thailand. For me this was a 10 out of 10!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was chill, the background music was perfect and service was great. I had an Australian ribeye, with a dipping gravy and fries that was cooked to perfection. My significant other had a tuna salad (I forget the actual name), and we both got deserts. The fire dancers were INCREDIBLE!! I could go every night to watch this!! So much fun!! In previous reviews it said fire show started at 7pm, we had a storm that came through and ours started at 7:30pm.

I was looking for a place to take my friend for her birthday. Reviews for this place were amazing so I made reservations. The staff was amazing from start to finish. Poi was our main server and she was just on top of everything. She was at our table before we could ask for her every time. Always smiling and being pleasant. Hana also helped our table and she too was so charming. If you're ever in Krabi, I suggest you stop by even if it's just for a cocktail.

Came to Thailand for Thai cuisine - however we fancied some western food after a long time away. We had the Thai green curry, Beef Massamam and also the Lamb shank pasta- all absolutely incredible in terms of flavour. Service from Sod and Poi fantastic and really enjoyed the scenery (facing ocean table) and Vibey Afro house music in the place. Would highly recommend (food too delicious we ate before taking pics) ☺️

Poi and Hana were out servers today. They were amazing. I did my birthday dinner here and they were very attentive. Even came to sing me happy birthday. The food was amazing. Freshest seafood you’ll have. We made reservations to catch the sunset and let me tell you the view is just gorgeous. Just after 6pm, the saxophone player comes to set a great ambiance.

Atmosphere is really good, very chilling, they even have fire show at 7.30pm! 😍😍 Service provided is great, especially service from Pop and Fon, really nice and helpful, always showing their big smile 😁😁 Food and cocktail are nice, enjoying. However, my medium rare steak is a little tough and hard to chew, but the taste is good. Overall, it's a wonderful place to relax and chill.

First time in Thailand and visited this restaurant as a group of 10. We were all a little nervious about getting food poisoning during our visit to the country and so asked for reccomendations from staff members working at Gillhams Fishing lakes who recommended recommended this restaurant. All in all it was a good experience. All food was served hot and beautifully presented and tasted great - we were pleasantly surprised. I personally had ribeye steak and had it cooked well done (I usually have rare but again, wanted to minimalise any chances of food poisoning). Despite it being cooked well done it was still beautifully tender and fst wss rendered well. The peppercorn sauce was also one of the best ive had. If I come back to Ao Nang, I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.

The most unfriendly service I’ve experienced in Thailand – not a single smile and the waitress looked annoyed the entire time. The restaurant itself isn’t appealing. What might seem like a charming terrace is actually unbearably NOISY, with a loud water pump running constantly and traffic passing just meters away. No parking nearby. The meat was good but overall overpriced (same price in Europe) for the quantity and quality – side dishes were tiny and we left still hungry. Definitely wouldn’t return. There are far better steak restaurants within five minutes’ drive, offering bigger portions, better quality, a warm welcome and a much nicer setting.

So happy we found this place. You have a choice to sit inside or outside. Starters come with 2 small pieces of hot bread, sliced cheese & tomato and amazing tasting dips. We ordered ribeye & a tenderloin. Both cooked to perfection & served with individual salad plates and choice of side & sauce. Quality of steak very good and presentation immaculate. The owner clearly knows what he is doing. Service was efficient, well presented, but a couple of them could be a little more outgoing. All in all a fantastic meal ... thank you

We visited the restaurant after reading many positive reviews. The place is nicely decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere and light background music. We ordered the beef carpaccio as a starter, which was very tasty. The salads were fresh but nothing special. The mushroom soup was excellent. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the baked potato served with it was small and undercooked. The rice was quite plain. The round bread rolls were a bit dry, but when we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly replaced them with garlic bread, which was much better. We also had the “Efron Spritz” drink – it was refreshing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a good experience. Prices are on the expensive side. My son was happy with his meat dish, while I enjoyed parts of the meal but found some items less satisfying. As a nice gesture, we were served a complimentary Limoncello with the bill, which was delicious.

We had dinner and ordered the tomahawk. We had high expectations for the meat, but it had an unpleasant smell, and we couldn’t finish it. I wanted to complain, but my bf told me not to bother, so we decided to just write a review instead. The only good thing about this restaurant was the bread.

Great place to find your breakfast! Delicious local taste. Definitely try the pork shop at the corner. Grab a pineapple too! Don’t forget to respect the local people.

One of the best and most chill fresh markets I’ve visited in Thailand. Only local people if you go early and there is soooo much great food! We had pork leg stew and crispy pork and steamed buns with pork a and pandan curd from the stalles closest to the toilet building. This is a must visit when in Krabi!💥💚🇹🇭😍

We have just eaten here twice in a day. For a group of 7, I am sure that says something! Food was all excellent, nothing to fault on any meal/dish/food item we ordered. Also, the cocktails were wonderful. The service is at times fairly slow, but that is due to the volume of people in there.

This was highly rated on Trip Advisor, so we went to check it out. The Thai milk tea was just okay; the green curry was pretty good; but the pad thai was so greasy, it was hard to eat. There was a pool of grease at the bottom of the bowl... would not recommend. The staff was pleasant, but the food was priced a bit higher, so it should have been a bit better quality. Buyer be ware.

Amazing food!! We tried the Bussaba appetisers ta re which is a mix of appetizers, very yamm. Then mains were the Massaman curry chicken and i replaced the roti with vegetable rice. Amazing, not spicy, delicious! My husband tried the chicken green curry, it was too spicy but still awesome. And we finished it with deep fried ice cream which was out of this world and mango waffles with ice cream, again spot on. That mango i dont know how they get it just right but it always tastes perfect. We will come again to try more of their menu. All these plus water and cocktails costed 1227 baht which was decent enough. For the food quality you get its more than worth it!

This is a nice restaurant, a little bit far from the center but with good food and nice ambiance. You can clearly see that the owner has traveled abroad or at least he made some research about how a restaurant should look. Tablecloth, napkins, clean cutlery and friendly staff. Food was good and savory a mix of Thai and European food.

The ambience made it a really nice experience. The food is as good as the best restaurants around the area, but as a whole, the dining experience was more enjoayble. At first, I was skeptical to see too many options on the menu (mixed with Western style of food). However their Thai food was amazing! I did pay for the food and service. Staffs are attentive and caring. The quality of the food here is something you'll get in 5 star hotels in big cities. We ordered vege spring rolls, massaman Curry, and fried flat noodles with beef. All were so tasty, especially the massaman curry, wow, it was a highlight of our dinner.

We landed this evening and were looking for a good, quiet restaurant. What a delight it was to find this place – it offers excellent service with warmth and professionalism. The place is beautiful, clean, and has jazz music playing softly in the background. The portions are huge and delicious – consider yourselves warned! I had an outstanding Italian fish soup. I really tried to finish it, but the portion was just too big. My son had Pad See Ew with plenty of chicken pieces – his dish was also large and very tasty. The salads were fresh and carefully prepared. The prices are fair. Don’t miss out – with the check, we received a treasure chest filled with chocolates to sweeten the rest of our evening

It quite difficult to find good and delicious in Aow Nang and I finally found one more. The foods was good Portion matched with price and staff was very friendly. We will come back Absolutely recommend!

We decided to try this place as it’s always busy when we walk past – what a mistake. For a restaurant with such a lovely setting and higher prices, you’d expect the food to be of a good standard, but it was very disappointing. I ordered the lasagna and it was completely dry, with barely a spoonful of beef in the whole dish – basically just pasta and cheese I left half of my dish as it was so dry and unpleasant. The carbonara wasn’t much better, far too salty and really unpleasant. Very underwhelmed with the whole experience and sadly wouldn’t recommend.

Update: third time! Good antipasto misto, as usual!!! Second time at this restaurant. Good food and excellent service. As an Italian I suggest sharing the 'antipasto misto', a mix of cold cut, cheese and good bread. Enjoy!

Beautiful restaurant in Klung Mueang. About 20 min from Ao Nang. Tasty food, good service and friendly staff. It's aiways beautifull her day or evening. The location is close to the see so on the day time you can take a swim.

really great experience in general. had lovely cocktails and some great appetisers, pizza was lovely and so was thai food. lobster pasta wasn’t really worth the money but was presented beautifully. only real issue was that my friend ordered a vanilla milkshake which had a wafer in and she then had an allergic reaction as the wafer had cashew in, not something you would normally expect and the waitstaff weren’t aware of it until they checked the packaging so be aware.

Nice Italian restaurant in Krabi. We just had pizza but it was very good, nice crust and cooked perfectly. The location itself is nicely decorated with a nice ambiance. Staff is friendly too. Definitely recommend if you are missing “back home pizza”!

This restaurant was absolutely massive and bursting with energy! Known for their incredible Thai hospitality, they serve up authentic Italian cuisine that’s truly a Stella of a combo. I was completely captivated by the lively ambiance, attentive service, and delicious dishes. The Carpaccio and Burrata Cheese were nothing short of spectacular! And the pizza crispy crust with perfect toppings transported me straight to Italy! An unforgettable dining experience!

Great wine cellar where you may choose your own bottle, with suggestions from the MD, starting from THB 1'100 and +++. Waiters are helpful and at your service. We were surprised to find an Italian chef in Krabi Thailand, since we had only Thai food till this restaurant we decided to give it a try, food was mostly good, the gluten free pasta was a disaster, small portion and no flavor, the gnocchi with truffle was wonderful and the pizza as well, to conclude nice change but I would stick to local cousin in Thailand 🇹🇭 For the same price we have spent here i would have enjoyed 2 to 3 Thai dinners

Very good food quality, had the best tiramisu ever (even better than in Italy and I tried there a lot) and the manager Michele is the best - very kind and very caring. I’ll definitely come by again when I visit Krabi again!

Absolutely loved Krua Thara in Krabi! The Pad Thai was beyond amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The portions were generous, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a relaxed, local vibe that makes the whole experience even better. If you’re in Krabi, this spot is a must-try!

The best local seafood restaurant in town with reasonable price. I like the Crab fried rice here. The oyster also very fresh and tasty.

If I have a craving for Thai food - I go there. It’s always a pleasant service and tasty food. My favorite is pineapple fried rice with shrimps and pina colada (it’s served in coconut). A nice place to go for lobsters and other seafood also!

Beautiful beach especially at sunset. I’m glad I came here. This beach has silky sand and clear water. You can post up on the beach or chill on the short wall.theres plenty of parking. Lots of locals here with families. Highly recommended

We came to this beach late afternoon and we assisted to a stunning sunset! Easy to access and it has a big parking for cars and scooters. Next to the parking there is a street food, with affordable drinks and food and a stunning view. Beach and water were clean! Not many people! Very recommended! ( Especially for sunset 😉)

It’s a 15 minutes ride from main Ao Nang beasch. Very calm and beautiful beach. Less tourists come here. Scenic beauty is at most here.you will enjoy the beach like private beach.

Clean, beautiful sand, warm water, and not packed in october. It’s very relaxed atmosphere. Very few restaurants. Water was so nice and warm during the day, bathroom sign says “customers and guests” only but the nice lady let me use it.

Lovely beach with several restaurants to choose from. It is tidal and if you want to swim it is best to go at high tide. Wonderful place to watch the sunset or grab a boat for a trip to Hong Island

Nice beach, not crowded at all. The sand bubbler crabs were amazing and fun to watch, they make interesting patterns in the beach at low tide.

I recently visited an elephant sanctuary, and it was an incredible experience. The elephants are treated with real care and respect, roaming freely in a natural environment. Instead of riding or shows, the focus is on learning, observing, and supporting conservation. It felt authentic, meaningful, and truly unforgettable.

We went at the end of October so I have nothing and I have nothing great things ro say about our experience! We were the only people there during our 1-3p time slot. The staff was incredibly helpful in educating us about the sanctuary ethical practices & showing us the proper way to feed the elephants, bathe them with mud and then we ash them and guided us through this unforgettable experience with so much kindness. They took excellent pictures & videos for us the entire time. They also have plenty of snacks and drinks to keep you refreshed. Lastly they have a shower area and towels so we were able to immediately wash off. Thanks again!

Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary – A Wonderful, Heart-warming Experience! We had an amazing time at Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary. The entire experience felt respectful, safe, and very family-friendly. We enjoyed every part of the interaction — from feeding the elephants to preparing their food, and especially the mud and water bath session. It was incredible to be so close to these gentle giants and see how well they’re cared for. Our child had a great time too! The staff were patient, kind, and made sure even the little one felt comfortable feeding and interacting with the elephants. Watching the elephants splash around in the water was the highlight for all of us. The sanctuary focuses on ethical treatment, and that really shows. No riding, no force — just pure fun and bonding with the animals. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a meaningful, joyful experience in Ao Nang!

We drove in and there was an amazing elephant right in front of us. They made sure we knew how to approach them, how to feed them and where to touch them before we even went to meet the elephants. And that was done in stages to make sure the elephants were comfortable. The elephants weren’t tied or forced to do anything. They had an unlimited supply of hot and cold drinks and also supplied food. There was no need to worry about your belongings as lockers were provided. They also took so many photos free of charge. We had an amazing day. Thank you to the staff and elephants. Would 100% recommend

The Elephants are well cared for.Great history. Elephants are not domesticated but are well taken care of in their own right. We enjoyed & admired their commitment to keeping the Elephants safe.

This was one of the biggest highlights of our trip. The elephants are so well cared for and we were taught so much about the animals and the best techniques for feeding. The staff were also so generous, so many photos for free as well as refreshments. I cannot recommend highly enough!

When I planned my trip to Thailand I was sure I wanted to go see elephants and wanted to make sure I chose an ethical place to do so. I am so happy I found this sanctuary. The whole experience was amazing and well arranged, starting from the hotel pick-up and the snacks offered throughout the day. A very peaceful afternoon spent learning and enjoying the presence of these gentle giants. Our main guide for the day, Bang, was amazing and through his explanation and stories made us feel like we already knew the elephants. I love that it wasn't a cheap, rushed experience like other places offer but that we really felt like we went to visit some longtime friends in their home. There is purposefully NO RIDING of elephants in this place, but I didn't miss it at all, as we got to be so close to them anyway, and feed them and bathe them. So grateful for this experience, I got emotional a couple of times and I bring back great memories. Thank you!!! ❤️

Good place to watch sunset. Hidden gem close to the center of Annan beach. They have shuttle service to pick us up from hotel. Food is very delicious. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The vibes and views at this restaurant during sunset were incredible! From beginning to end the service was top notch and very responsive. They even picked us up from our hotel in a free shuttle. We ate the soft shell crab, prawn cakes, BBQ river prawn, grilled seabass and coconut milk ice cream - delicious! Great spot for a romantic, elevated dining experience in Krabi.

Good view, decent food and professional staff. To start off, the ambiance and view is the big selling point for this venue. Tucked into the mountain with a view of the Krabi beach. The interior decor is well designed with a laid back atmosphere to fully take in the ocean breeze from yonder. Food comes out at a good pace without long pauses in between, which is a big plus. Flavor wise, its a quality that is worth visiting for. Price wise, some are decently priced and others not, my only complaint. Service wise the staff are professional and attentive. Cheque came out quick as well. All in all, a must come place with a visit to Krabi.

Ate here last night and it was AMAZING ! I had the pineapple fried rice and my friend had prawns with cashew nuts - both super delicious! The service was caring, warm and welcoming. Really nothing but incredible things to say about this place. Suprisingly it wasn’t crowded at all. We went there during sunset - I highly recommend. This would be the perfect place for a romactic date.

I was picked up from my hotel and brought up to this incredible view high in the hills. Greeted with smiles, seated overlooking Ao Nang, savored the sunset & lightening show while sipping a chilled Chardonnay. Had a delicious meal of BBQ Prawns & rice while listening to soft jazz, such an incredible evening. Service was exceptional, a highlight of my time in Thailand. If you are in Ao Nang, you should absolutely enjoy a delicious meal & view.

Amazing dinner at Lae Lay Grill! We got pick up at the hotel and they came very on time! The service is very friendly, and we are well looked after by the staffs. Every single dish is amazing and the cocktails are delicious!! 10/10 for food and service. We got there on time to see the sunset and it’t worth to come early for a good vibe!

Fantastic atmosphere and surrounding. Cool and relaxing, with soft music playing its just perfect. The food though could have been better, especially the lobster and its deepfried and overcooked. For the amount we're paying, could've made it better.

⚠️ NON HALAL I visited Kodam Kitchen in Ao Nang after seeing several recommendations online. The restaurant is about a 10-minute walk from my hotel, Blue Tara, making it quite accessible by foot. The menu offers a good variety of Thai dishes, and the restaurant itself is spacious, though the tables are placed quite close to each other. Communication can be a bit challenging as most of the staff speak limited English, so using Google Translate might be helpful when ordering. We tried the green curry, fried pork omelette, and fried squid rings. The green curry, unfortunately, didn’t meet expectations—it lacked the rich, authentic Thai flavor and was a bit diluted. However, the fried pork omelette and squid rings were tasty and well-prepared. Overall, I would consider Kodam Kitchen an average dining experience. The food is decent but not among the top restaurants I’ve tried in Ao Nang, and the prices are on the higher side for what’s offered. It’s suitable for a one-time visit, but if you’re in Ao Nang for a short trip, there are plenty of other great local restaurants worth exploring near the beach area.

Always trust the locals! We came here on the recommendation of our taxi driver, and I’m so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly affordable. We ordered quite a spread: Papaya Salad, Satay Chicken, Pad See Eiw, and the Thai Beef with Black Pepper Sauce. Everything was tasty, but the Massaman Curry was to die for—easily the highlight of the meal. The place is clearly popular for a good reason, but despite how busy it looked, we didn't have to wait long for a table. The service was surprisingly fast and efficient. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be going again!

Absolutely outstanding experience at Kodam Kitchen Krabi! The food was fabulously delicious — full of fresh flavors, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. I came both for lunch and dinner, and each time everything was simply exceptional. You can truly taste the passion and quality in every dish. Service was incredibly fast and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. And the price–quality ratio is simply unbeatable — you get top-tier food and service at very fair prices. Best Thai food I’ve had. I got Tom Yum (21) and asked for it spicy. I sent it back to get it more ‘Tha’i spicy and they are legit. Best soup I’ve ever had. I also loved the chicken cashew dish here (38). I also have a severe egg allergy and they were very accommodating and I had no issues. 10/10 would recommend if you’re here in Ao Nang, Krabi

Absolutely delicious restaurant with incredible options, including veggie ones. The fish I had was so good, one of my top meals in Thailand. The staff were so friendly. We got a table super quick despite not booking. Very authentic Thai food options.

Food was fresh, very tasty, authentic and of good quality. Prices were good considering the area. Waiting time of 30min to be even seated was ridiculous after that all meals arrived very quickly. Overall it's a place worth visiting especially if there is no queue.

Oh my gosh if you love thai food and a bustling atmosphere, you have to eat at Kodam. RESERVE A TABLE though, as it is very busy and youll probably have to sit in the waiting area if you just turn up during the busy times. We got the vegetarian pineapple fried rice, deep fried white snapper in tamarind sauce, morning glory, papaya salad, and rice. SO DELICIOUS!! So affordable too!

The food is incredibly good! For me, it’s the best in Krabi. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but the drive is definitely worth it! The team is so warm and welcoming. Highly recommended! <3

I rarely ever stop to think before writing a review — but this place in Ao Nang truly deserves it. Let me start with the only negative part: you’ll come for 2 days and end up staying for 2 weeks 😅 They have just two spacious rooms for rent, beautifully clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Downstairs, there’s a cozy little restaurant serving some of the most delicious and high-quality food I’ve tasted in Thailand. If you want something that’s not on the menu, they’ll happily prepare it just for you. They also rent motorbikes at unbeatable prices A huge thanks to Katika and her two amazing ladies who made our stay so warm and unforgettable. Their kindness and care turned our time in Ao Nang into something truly special. We’ll definitely be back!

Great spot for breakfast! We forgot to take a picture at the start, but honestly the place and the food are absolutely worth it. For only 180 THB, you get a super complete plate: 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 ham slices, a fruit plate, your choice of coffee and a juice. The portions are generous, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is really nice. A perfect place to start the day — highly recommend!

Bryde Restaurant seems to be located downstairs of a hotel or apartment residency. It seems to be a restaurant runned by the same family, and the staff is very friendly. The menu is really big and offers a great mix of Thai food and Western food. The quality of the food is great and the dishes were delicious. Very nice to see the healthy drink options they offered, tasty!

Came here 3x during our stay. Everything we ordered is nice especially pad Thai and fried noodle, roti, massaman curry and smoothie. We been to many places to eat, like this restaurant the most.

Great place for a late breakfast. Juices and fruits are fresh and healthy, I'm happy they didn't add sugar to my celery juice. Prices are good and portions are abundant. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
