We took a tour for a few different things, tiger kingdom, elephant treaking, a temple, and of course the big Buddha, sadly it’s closed for now because of a landslide incident, but it’s still pretty amazing to see it! I do recommend taking a tour so you get to see other cool things, or you could hike it, I do recommend

It was raining and foggy, weather was Nice and it is partly uphill, so visit early or at sunset. 🛕 Dress modestly—shoulders and knees covered. Some areas may be restricted, but still worth a visit for the views and calm vibe.

It is closed now a days for some work or renovation.. If you are going only to see the Budha then better don't visit.. Pls check before you go in future.. You can see view of city and beach from top.. Attaching few photos

The Big Buddha of Phuket is truly breathtaking. Sitting high on Nakkerd Hill and facing the ocean, the statue offers stunning panoramic views of the island and the Andaman Sea. The atmosphere is peaceful and spiritual — a perfect place for quiet reflection away from the busy beaches. The statue itself is impressive in size and beautifully crafted in white marble, shining brightly in the sunlight. A must-see landmark that captures both the beauty and serenity of Phuket.

The temple is not accessible for the moment due to an earth slide. We drove up to site anyways where we got a look at the side of the Buddah. It has monkeys and chickens in the parking lot which were the better reason for taking pictures. On the way up to the temple is an elephant tourist attraction with baby elephants separated from their family, chained to the ground and fenced off. All elephants showed stereotypes. We didn't stop for that animal abuse of course, I'm just mentioning it as it outrages me to still see such places being visited and suppoted by ignorant tourists.

Rate for the scenery where you can get Phuket city view one side and ocean view the other. Pity that the way up to The Big Buddha is closed for renovation until further notice… which is unknown.

Karon Beach is a popular destination on the west coast of Phuket, Thailand, known for its long stretch of soft, white sand and clear turquoise waters. It is the second-longest beach in the province and is popular with families and couples for its more relaxed atmosphere compared to nearby Patong Beach. The beach offers a mix of relaxation and activities like sunbathing, swimming, and various watersports.

Nice beach! Cool water. 1hr Massages on beach were 500baht (about $15.50) many vendors lining the shore & beach chairs available. The ocean floor is very uneven with drop offs and sand bars throughout so be careful.

I’ve just started exploring the local beaches, and Karon Beach is by far my favorite one in the area — especially after visiting Kata Beach, which was overcrowded and quite dirty. Karon feels completely different: the sand is firm and not slippery, which makes it perfect for running or walking along the shore. The beach is wide, flat, and peaceful in the morning, with way fewer people and noticeably less trash. There’s also a nice running path and a small park area nearby, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall, it’s a clean, calm, and enjoyable beach — highly recommended if you want to move a bit, relax, or just take in a nice morning run by the sea.

It’s a good beach, family friendly. A bit wavy, which is good if you are in the mood to fight with the nature. Renting 2 benches and an umbrella for the shadow for the whole day, costs us 200 B. Overall, we enjoyed it. The beach is very long. You can find some bars in the south, which are recommended to visit on a sunset. Also, if you stay at the south part during the night, you will have an opportunity to sea fire show

Karon is one of the most breathtaking beaches in Phuket, radiating serenity even in peak season. Its tranquil ambiance, unmarred by bars and numerous food stalls, renders it a haven for families with kids. Water sports on the beach further amplify its allure. And last but not least, the sunset from Karon Beach is just phenomenal.

I really enjoyed my time at Karon Beach. The place is clean and peaceful, perfect for spending hours by the sea. I even had the chance to ride the parasail, which was an amazing experience. The waves are beautiful and calming, and it’s a great spot to do yoga and meditation without any disturbance. Highly recommend for both relaxation and adventure

This beach is ok … parts are very dirty but go 500 meters further and ok. Few places sell drinks and only 1 sells beer (overpriced). There are far better beaches close by nai harm beach for example. Chairs however are cheaper here only 100 baht over the other beaches 200 and there are several shopping options nearby. The local vendors are a constant hassle but just be polite say no thank you and they’ll leave you alone - be polite … Due to time of year most beaches are choppy and not suitable for younger ages due to strong currents … be careful …

Open daily from 11am, this market is a must visit if you're in Kata. The market was full of wonderful food and beverage stalls. Food was fresh and clean and I really liked that they had good Halal options. A small area designated for seating around the markets, as well as some clothing stores. You can easily bargain with them when buying clothes. Loved exploring through this area and trying a bunch of different food options!

Yummy banana and Nutella roti that was crispy and generous in fillings (tho slightly on the higher side in terms of price) But overall - felt like a tourist trap having to haggle for prices of clothings. Would prefer Chillva where prices of items are clearly stated instead of having to haggle.

By far the BEST night market in Phuket area! The food stalls are very clean with high standards, especially comparing to any other market in Phuket I got to visit. We tried quite a few options and everything was so delicious, while the prices were very low considering the quality of the food, so 10/10 value for money! I really recommend the gyoza stall where they not only fry them by order, but they actually fold them by hand right in front of you! Another hit was obviously the banana roti stand - warm and delicious, just melts in your mouth. Another one on the sweet side was the mango sticky rice stall, where you can choose the flavors of the rice out of 4 options - original white rice, blue butterfly pea flower rice, green pandan rice or red dragon fruit rice. Lastly, make sure to not skip the coconut ice cream stall! They carve the entire inside of coconut and add its flesh to vanilla ice cream, mix everything together and then return it to the coconut and use it as a bowl. You can then add your own toppings, unlimited! Literally there wasn't a single dish we tried and got disappointed, also when comparing to "real" Thai restaurants, which says a lot! If you're in Phuket area, make sure to visit this amazing market!!

We went there after a long day. We walked around the market. There are plenty of food stalls and kiosks. It started raining heavily when we were eating so we had to take cover under under the shades. The prices here are relatively cheap and you can find a big variety of stuff

The Kata Night Market was electric — the air filled with sizzling seafood and live music drifting through warm, busy streets. Courtney and I feasted on fresh barbecued prawns and lobster, surrounded by laughter, neon lights, and the rich scent of Thai spices. Pure, vibrant energy from start to finish.

The food stall variety here is great. They are very clean with high standards, especially comparing to any other markets in Phuket. We tried quite a few options; steamed fish, gyoza, vegetables, noodles and mango sticky rice and everything was delicious. Prices were amazing, especially considering the quality of the food. 100% recommend.

Cute little nightmarket. Though prices are not the cheapest by Thai / Asian standards, they are still pretty decent. Food may be tweaked and catered to Western palates. If you want authentic Thai food, just ask them to make it "Thai spicy"

In august we had a fantastic stay at Club Med in Phuket. We stayed in the newly opened family zone, which is a major upgrade. Even though construction work is going on in other parts of the resort, we never really noticed it. Other parts of the resort have been upgraded and you can really see that Club Med are investing in their new concept and it shows, facilities are top-notch. The new family zone is great for families on vacation, rooms are really designed with kids in mind and they will love the splash-park. The staff was absolutely amazing and did their utmost to make our stay great. I was able to talk to the chef de village on a couple of occasions and I found him very receptive of feedback on the resort as I had a few things that I felt could improve the place. (minor feedback items). The new dining area is great and also the staff was amazing. Our 5 year old son made friends with the head of F&B and he even showed up to wave us goodby at 07:00 on our departure day which was an amazing gesture and made our stay even better. On the point of the new dining area, the food was fantastic, different local cuisines and all of it was well prepared. I still think Club Med should upgrade their standard wine (they always go for the sweet Chardonay, I would love to see that they go for a good dry white wine, but that's personal preference). Our son did not have the best time at kids club, but that could have been because of a language barrier. I felt the groups maybe were a bit to big, but that is just a personal preference and maybe we are used to club med in the low season when there are less kids. On the other hand our 8 month old daughter had a great time at the petit club and we always picked her up with a smile and the staff kept us updated throughout the day. All in all, a fantastic vacation and would recommend to anyone going to Phuket.

I had a very good and memorable first experience in Club Med. The staff was very professional and very accommodating. Special mention to Edmund, Jeffrey and Emilio who made the overall experience so much better. Edmund provided us with excellent service at the Chuda restaurant and was very detailed, he found and remembered alot of details I never expected. As for Jeffrey, after a conversation about cooking salmon, he actually prepared a trio of salmon dishes that made the whole trip extra memorable. And lastly, Emilio made our last night at Club Med Phuket extra memorable with his stories. Thanks again to all the staff for making this an extra special trip for my wife and I.

I stayed at the resort with my mother from October 14 to 17. We arrived in Phuket late in the evening, and Dori G.O. kindly welcomed us, explained the resort in detail, and guided us all the way to our room. The room was very clean and had twin beds, so we rested comfortably. One thing that could be improved was housekeeping. After spending the first night, I expected the room to be cleaned in the morning, but when we came back around 1 p.m. after activities, it hadn’t been done yet. I requested cleaning at 2 p.m., but the shower drain wasn’t working well, which caused a bit of inconvenience. The next day, I mentioned this to the reception, and Dori G.O. followed up attentively — everything was resolved smoothly after that. Aside from that, the cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay. The restaurant food was delicious and offered a wide variety of dishes — especially the fresh fruits, which we really enjoyed. Gita G.O. walked around the dining area and kindly checked in with guests, which left a very good impression. Her attentiveness and effort to make guests feel cared for were memorable. At the main bar, the staff were very friendly. My mother especially loved the non-alcoholic mojito (without syrup) and ordered it every day — she said she’d miss it once we got back home! The facilities and activities were excellent. We enjoyed so many things that time just flew by, and the evening shows were entertaining and fun to watch. Heenie G.O., always greeted us warmly whenever she saw us, and my mother really liked her kind approach. She once asked if she could join us for a meal, and thanks to that, my mother and I had a very pleasant and friendly dining time — it became one of our favorite memories from the trip. When we were leaving, everyone seemed busy, and I felt a bit sad thinking we might not get to say goodbye — but Jina G.O., was waiting for us to see us off. That thoughtful gesture truly touched me and made our departure feel warm and special. It was a short stay, but we created such wonderful memories. I’m really grateful for their kindness and hospitality. I’d like to thank Dori, Heenie, Jina, and Gita G.O.s for making our stay so enjoyable and for sharing their warmth with us.

One of the best and relaxing holidays we had in the last few years. Top notch quality of service, staff, activities and many more offerings that Clubmed offered us during our stay for 6-days during November 2025. The staff is super energetic, helpful and always smiling. The food menu they served during all 6-days never repeated. Great choice chefs and over all food menu for all types for dietary requirements. We enjoyed a lot of activities and the late night parties. Our child enjoyed the kids club a lot bringing a lot of memories back home. We would definitely like to visit again.

SNOW is an amazing waitress, smiling and making sure everything is perfect. Definitely recommend this place if you’re after great food, good service, and a chill atmosphere. Great atmosphere with good music. We got a table as soon as we got there. The food was awesome with good flavours and presentation on the plate. But there is always room for improvement to keep the restaurant's standards high and to keep attractIng customers. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and has a wide variety of food to choose from. Our waiter Mr Sut was fast and effective. Please keep it up, we will come back. The menu is large, but the food was delicious. I stuck with traditional thai food, pad see ew and pad Kra Pao. Both very enjoyable. My friend got one of their sandwiches and the bread and flavor were amazing as well. The portions are generous. Drinks were good (and strong). Everything was fair priced and our server Siam was a doll! He even gave us complimentary coconut cookies that were perfectly sweet and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is by Kata beach!

We had wonderful dining experiences here, coming multiple times throughout our trip. it has a little bit of everything and all great portions and taste really good. Good price, very reasonable. Rose was amazing and very hardworking. We hope to see a location in Bangkok soon!

We went here many times for breakfast and lunch ! The food was sooo good, also the pizza’s. For the breakfast, Phisuth offered us special halal thaï food with rice and vegetables, macaroni and cheese, fruits and fresh water with ice because we were Muslims and we didn’t now if the buffet was halal or not. It was so generous that we couldn’t eat it all even tho we were 2. Thank you so much Phisuth, it was really nice to meet you and your food was really good ! We recommend you this restaurant at 100%. The food is good, the restaurant is clean and the personnel is kind (especially Phisut) 😁🇹🇭

Our server was Sai and she did a fantastic job tending to us and made us feel like home. The food was delicious. I recommend the 5 cheese pizza and the blueberry smoothie. We had an excellent time at Kiri and I'd definitely come back here during my next visit

We visited Karon Viewpoint on 1st October as part of a city sightseeing tour with our family (2 adults and 2 kids). It was one of the most scenic stops on our trip. From the top, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of Phuket’s famous beaches — Patong, Karon, and Kata — lined up beautifully along the coastline. On the opposite side, you can also spot the majestic Big Buddha sitting atop Nakkerd Hill, which makes the view even more impressive. Historically known as *Three Beaches Hill* or *Kata Viewpoint*, this spot has long been a popular stop for both locals and tourists to admire Phuket’s natural beauty. It’s an important landmark because it perfectly captures the island’s charm — the mix of green hills, turquoise waters, and golden beaches in one frame. The place is well maintained, with viewing platforms and shaded areas to relax and take photos. Our kids loved the open space and the fresh breeze at the top. Overall, Karon Viewpoint is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the best of Phuket’s landscape and enjoy a bit of peace away from the busy beaches.

The Karon Viewpoint Thai name is Kho Sam Haad, which means ‘The Hill of the Three Beaches’, and once we reached the place, just as promised, we saw three beaches. So, if this is your first trip to Phuket, you probably will stop for a few minutes at this popular and beautiful panoramic landmark to admire the view from the top of the hill. The closest and smallest one is Kata Noi Beach. A bit further, we could see the beautiful Kata Beach with its island ‘Koh Poo’, which means Crab Island, and far, we could also spot the very long beach of Karon.

Beautiful view. Plenty of spots to take photos. However, it is a bit of a tourist trap, but it’s not obnoxious. You can find some spots to sit down and just take it in without being bombarded with people trying to sell you stuff.

Breath taking sunset.....so so marvellous and beautiful. Do visit this place 30 minutes before sunset to get a good spot on the viewpoint. Overall have a lot of space to sit around and take photos too.

Walk around 2.5 kilometres, and the road gradually inclines as you near Karon Viewpoint. Just a short distance uphill from Karon town, Karon Viewpoint is one of the must-visit spots on this side of the island. From this famous lookout, you’ll be treated to a sweeping vista of the cove with three beaches, Kata Noi, Kata, and Karon. The beautiful view makes an excellent backdrop for PHOTOS. We went there by car so didn't had to walk. Have a parking lot just in the entrance.

Found this restaurant while googling in Australia before our trip and thought we needed to try it out. Was not disappointed at all! The service is amazing, thanks for finding my nail 🤣, food exceptional and atmosphere relaxing and enjoyable. Already been here twice and will defiantly be back at least once more before we leave on Wednesday.

I really like that restaurant, and its vibe, especially in the evening. The food is very fresh, tasty and well presented. They can adjust it to your taste on request. Everything I ate was delicious, especially the Pad Thai and the Steamed fish with ginger. The manager is also very attentive! Thanks again!

I stayed at the inn for one week and it was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean, the restaurant is fantastic - Thai food at affordable prices - location is great as there are restaurants, shops, cafés, a night market, Kata beach at a 15 min walking distance. Staff is friendly and very nice.Keep in mind that there's no elevator and no pool. The best in Thailand is without question, the people :)

Wow! Best food we’ve had in all of Thailand. We’ve been to Bangkok, Chiang Rai and Pattaya before this. We had the vegetarian pad Thai, vegetarian mild yellow curry, spring rolls, and drinks. PHENOMENAL. We wish we could have had only this this whole trip

We went to the restaurant and loved it. I had the massaman curry and it was great. They also bring fruit after your main which was lovely. Highly reccomend! Only bit of advice is that it's very noisy close to the road, so if you find a seat away from the road you'll be fine.

We've been here several times. Everything is quite tasty. The selection of dishes is good. But they add a 5% tip to the bill by default... It seems like a small amount, but it's unpleasant... so 2 stars for the service. The staff, however, is wonderful.

Great restaurant!!! Food is delicious!! We had entrees, mains, cocktails and mocktails for a family of 5 and it cost us $75AUD Service is great and fun and we laughed so much each time we visited!!! It’s close to the Kata walking Market which we went to quite a few Times whilst staying in Karon!!! Kata is such a vibe and we loved it.

We ride to this place for Sunday roast from time to time and it’s usually packed which says a lot about the place from food to staff. Food is absolutely delicious. Vibe is great with sports entertainment on. It’s also a few minutes walk to Kata beach.

A great Pub tucked away in quiet Soi in Kata that serves a fantastic Sunday roast. 👍 And a yummy dessert!

I have been coming to the tavern for the past 4-5 years. I was first introduced to the place by a friend who mentioned the quality of the Sunday roast. I havnt missed a Sunday when I’m in Phuket ever since and I come to Phuket 2-3 times a year for 3-5 weeks. The Sunday roast is that good! I also come during the week to eat as the menu is full of excellent food. Everything cooked perfectly The beers is ice cold - with ice cold glasses and the staff are so friendly the place feels like home from home to me now I guarantee you will no be dissapointed P.s if more than one person is going for a roast on a Sunday , highly recommend booking in advance as it’s a well known spot for locals etc

This place has to be tried. Just of the beaten track. So nice and quiet. Indoor plus outdoor seating. Big menu of English and Thai. Real Yorkshire puddings and meat pies. Senisble prices. Service was fast and friendly. Ample parking if travelling. 4 party and we are loved it. See attached pics. Highly recommend. Would travel a long way for this place.

On the Rock Restaurant is nestled at the end of Karon Beach. It provides magnificent views of the beach and its surrounds. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and somewhat intimate after sunset. The food is absolutely delicious and they have some nice wines to pair with the various dishes on the menu. The staff are friendly, professional and very efficient. An absolute must when visiting Karon Beach.

The restaurant has good views of the sea and the beach... Food wasn't that great... Only good part was the ice cream. It also has direct access to the beach, in case you like to take walks post dinner. Service was very good any fast. Courteous staff.

The restaurant turned out to be such a disappointment. The place, the design, the atmosphere and the view were spectacular. The staff and service were excellent But the food was a let down. We ordered fried crab Rangoons which had an overly fishy crabby smell, I couldn’t go through it, but my husband enjoyed it. The pineapple fried rice, was tasteless & had barely any pineapple in it. The crab curry was not good either, it lacked good taste & was too messy for a restaurant of this sort. The pineapple freeze (drink) was okay, I wished it was less sweet but that’s a personal preference. Honestly not worth 1600 Baht that we paid. I wouldn’t pay more than 200 baht for the food quality.

Stunning views, great service and delicious food! We originally stopped in only for a drink as we weren't hungry and staff were super gracious about this removing our cutlery etc! The cocktails were awesome and ultimately seeing all the food come out we changed our minds again the staff were gracious and gave us placemats cutlery etc without complaint. We settled on a green curry and asked for it to be extra spicy and they delivered and delivered well! Great amount of coconut cream and not watered down like some places Shame we weren't hungry because I can't wait to go back and try more dishes! The views are simply beautiful too! We

Definitely a great place for either lunch or dinner. Pork and chicken meals with rice were super delicious. Also had some curry meals which were so flavorful. Came here twice for a dinner. Had mango smoothie as well and it was very smooth and tasty. A little bit off the main street so it's pretty nice and quiet. Prices are one of the most reasonable in the area for sure. If you have any allergies just let them know and they will gladly adjust your desired meal to your needs. Highly recommended!

The food was really good. Also considering being in Karon which is for the most part a rather busy and noisy place this restauranr is relatively quiet and offers a pretty relaxed and quiet atmosphere for being in the center of Karon. The owners are very nice and the service was great. All dishes we ordered were very good. Also they have many choices including vegan dishes. Highly recommended!

We tried many restaurants during our stay in Phuket, but this was the best one we tried. From the excellent English of the owner to every delicious dish we were served. Truly a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning here during our stay.

We visited Wat Chalong Temple on 1st October as part of a city sightseeing tour with our family (2 adults and 2 kids). The temple was one of the highlights of our trip. The entire premises were very clean and well maintained, with beautiful architecture and peaceful surroundings. Wat Chalong is one of the most respected temples in Phuket and holds great importance in Thai culture. It’s dedicated to two highly revered monks, Luang Pho Cham and Luang Pho Chuang, who played a key role in helping local people during the 19th-century rebellion. Their images are still worshipped here, and many locals visit to seek blessings for good health and peace. There are some shops inside the temple compound where you can buy souvenirs and local handicrafts at reasonable prices. Even our kids enjoyed exploring the temple grounds and the market area. Overall, Wat Chalong offers a blend of history, spirituality, and calm—definitely worth visiting when in Phuket. No charges for visiting this awesome place.

This place has really great view and the surroundings is also calm and quiet. Inside it has paintings of stories of King Siddharth becoming Buddha but in thai. Idols are also beautiful but some are not understandable. The view from the window is so scenic. Good place to relax your mind ..

Absolutely beautiful and calm. Well at first I planed anther temple but typed in the wrong location and landed in this temple. May be it was fate. It came in my favour. Easy to get there, well maintained. Beautiful to just sit around. Drawback : visitors really need to maintain some peace and quiet. Some are constantly loud and ill mannered in the temple.

This is close to Wat Chalong Temple so you can do both in an afternoon. There were limited species of birds. Mostly hornbills, parrots,peacocks and chickens. There are a few farm animals that children can buy food to feed them for 50 baht. This is not appropriate for people with mobility issues because there’s a steep hill to get to the bird show. We skipped the bird show. The souvenir shop is similar to a charity shop in the states. They don’t carry items like mementos of the park but a mishmash of unrelated things. The bird show is part of the admission price. It would be appropriate for small children but the park could do with a serious upgrade.

Absolutely not worth the money. We paid 1,500 baht and were done in 10 minutes. They charged full price for a child, and inside, the only animals were chickens, roosters, two crocodiles, an ostrich, and a few toucans—nothing remotely exotic. It was a pitiful experience. The show was loud and chaotic—blaring techno music like a nightclub, with a host shouting over it. It felt extremely stressful for the birds, who seemed to perform only for food. The cages were tiny, poorly maintained, and the smell was unbearable in places. What bothered us most was the constant upselling—pay for food, pay to feed crocodiles, pay for a photo. Even during the show, kids were asked to hold up 100 baht so a bird could "steal" it. Everything felt like a money grab. The only positives were the friendly staff and nice surroundings, but that doesn't justify the high price.

It's a beautiful place. There are many different birds, an entertaining show, and a petting zoo. You should definitely buy animal food there—it's so much fun to feed the animals. In the park, you can feed various goats, an ostrich, and different parrots—the animals come right up to you. Be sure to see the show. You can also take a photo with the big parrots for 100 baht, but we took tons of pictures while feeding the animals, which was even more fun for us. It's an unforgettable experience. Don't hesitate to spend 100 baht on food for the animals—they are wonderful.

This was NOT what we expected. In a good way! This place is unreal. I grew up watching Jurassic Park and this really hit the mark. The animatronics are wild. While our little one was in awe of the dinosaurs and hitting the gold ball 200 times (we made sure he won) we adults were in awe of the logistics of how it all comes together. Worth going to, we went during the day but seems like it would be a vibe at night. You can’t take drinks in but there’s a themed bar you can go to at the end.

Dino Park Mini Golf is a great spot! The park is huge, and the moving, sound-making dinosaurs make the experience unforgettable. This place is perfect for kids who love dinosaurs so much. There are options for with/without golfing. They use the same route. I think mostly adults enjoyed the golfing activity. Kids only into the dinosaurs. The place is quite clean. Not stroller friendly. So better to use baby carrier/body strap. However, during my visit there, the big dinosaurs were malfunctioning especially the T-Rex. So it was less adventurous. Not as per their ads video. Overall, my kid was enjoying his dinosaurs adventure.

We went a few times. Was such a chilled back atmosphere. Great spot for watching the waves and chilling. You can smoke weed if that's something you want to do. They sell it as well. It's linked to the seafood restaurant so you can also sit in the bar part and ask to order snack food from restaurant. We had a pizza and it was nice enough. But it's more the chill vibe, good service and friendly atmosphere id recommend it for.

Ska Bar is conveniently located right by Kata Beach and has a super relaxed, beachy atmosphere. Reggae music played in the background, twinkle lights were strung up all around — it’s a really cute setup that feels effortlessly cool. We were seated straight away, didn’t have to wait long for food, and everything was surprisingly affordable — one of my dishes was just 80 baht! The food was tasty, and being a semi-outdoor space, it was perfect even though I came in a bit sandy from the beach. A great casual spot to unwind after the ocean.

It's a amazing place. Some of the food items are very large. Huge menu to choose from. Prices are nice. Smoothie 60 baht, chang 100/140 baht. This establishment puts on a faer show every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 9pm. We recommend it, it's WOW.

The SKA bar food was pretty decent. I thought the Papaya salad was seasoned well with a good balance of sweet and sour. Tom yum soup lacked the sour so we added more limes. They accept credit card and don't charge a surcharge. Total meal was 1320 baht. They play reggae music in the background which was a chill vibe. We saw a spectacular Sunday night fire show, there is none other like it. Athletic performers putting on a wonderful show.

4 for dinner and we have had lunch there previously, it is over hyped. The best thing is the location, the food is ok and is the same quality as you would get in the food market. Service ok at best nothing to rave about however the atmosphere and location is good , disappointed that the fire show wasn’t on as that is what we had gone down for but when asked the staff - no not on tonight, a German couple we met was also waiting and left disappointed. It is a quiet enough beach, without a lot of entertainment venues. Most often people come to this beach, stay in a hotel and try not to go far away, enjoying a quiet vacation. The beach is small in size: its length is about 700 meters. In high season there are a lot of tourists here, but compared to the previous beaches: Kata and Karon, there is a place to stay! Kata Noi beach is quite a famous vacation spot among tourists. The flora here is made up of trees of mixed species, nevertheless, the beach is open enough to spread the sun's rays. Be sure to use high UV protection creams when sunbathing here. The sand here is soft, light gray in color. The entrance to the sea is medium deep. The water is clear, blue-green color! The views from here were awesome and great place to relax, BUT like it's neighboring beaches, you're immediately greeted with so much rubbish. There's some parts that are less trashy than others. Even in the water, You'll be swimming with plastic bags. It's not just ropes or fishing lines, but general trash as well. I've seen toothbrushes and food packaging. There's no rinse off station and you'll have to pay to use the bathroom. Most of the beach is taken over by beach chairs that are for rent. Lifeguards are present in this location.

The Thai food was mediocre, honestly. The food that came out was so far from what was presented in the menu photos, which makes me think they either googled it or the cook was in a bad mood. The beef masamman curry (pictured) is so different from what I've had anywhere. We haven't tried the seafood though so that may be their redeeming factor.

This Thai restaurant deserves a higher rating. I tried both restaurants on the same corner, and I can confidently say this one has the better food. First of all, the atmosphere is amazing. You’re sitting right next to the beach, enjoying fresh seafood. The food is not, as someone critiqued, just “tourist trap.” Sure, it’s priced for tourists, but it’s authentic and full of flavor. In fact, I ate there almost every day for several days in a row. Secondly, I found the restaurant clean and the seafood fresh. In Phuket, seafood tends to cost about 3x more than poultry. The setting here is more humble compared to the other place, but I think my Asian stomach prefers the taste at Kata Mama. Plus, they’ve been in business since the 80s. My favorite dishes are the curry and the seafood stir-fry with basil and jasmine rice. So good!

Prices were decent there but that's about it. We ordered papaya salad, some drinks, fish cakes, tom yum mama, laab moo, tempura chicken. The papaya salad was salty and although I added additional limes it didn't help , fish cakes texture wasn't good. Laab was chewy and not good. Total is 1200 baht but they charge a 5% credit card fee. I would not come back here.

Great service and amazing view! The food is great, specially when they let you choose the seafood and the method of preparation. Four stars only because of the shrimp wrapped with bacon dish. 300Baht for six little pieces with bread, fries and tons of raw vegetables. Definitely could do better than that there. The staff are very friendly, and they serve a large menu with an abundance of seafood as well as other Thai and western dishes. You can buy alcoholic drinks, including cocktails here. The prices for alcohol are the most reasonable out of all the restaurants on the beach front! With beautiful views of Kata Beach, this place is great!

Budget friendly and personalized service with the most relaxing views. This looks family run. We ate here thrice in a week of our stay here. If you don’t mind the outdoor, less fancy, authentic place; this is the best spot on Kata beach. The servers speak enough to understand us. Heartwarming welcome and good service. Coming from Australia where we are blessed with premium steak restaurants, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the steak. Had the rib eye mbs5 and it was probably the best steak I’ve had. I certainly recommend this to steak and burger lovers.

Wow, these were seriously some of the best steaks we’ve ever had! We got the tenderloin and ribeye wagyu and both were incredible. The tenderloin was so tender and that wagyu ribeye was just amazing - you could taste the quality. Service was great and the whole vibe was perfect for a nice dinner out. A more luxury experience in Thailand, amazing food - the blue crab cakes and the beef cubes were delicious starters, and we had the lamb massaman and pad Thai for main which were equally tasty! A beautiful restaurant with excellent service - waiters were very attentive and extremely friendly. Would absolutely recommend a visit!

Firstly the food here is absolutely delicious but you know what compliments a great food is a good conversation…. The owner of the restaurant is an ex army and his stories of his past life are so interesting and we were in awe of the owner and his wife🌸 The staff is so friendly and they made sure we were comfortable in any way possible. Me and my family being Indian expected spicy foods so they helped us with the spice sauce so we don’t end up disliking the taste. Windmill Viewpoint in Phuket is truly one of the best hidden gems on the island. Stunning view of Ya Nui and Nai Han beach. There is small building area that keep you from the sun. The way up to view point is quite steep but easy to drive up. Small car park , around 10 cars.

It's a really fun place. There's a shallow pool, bubbles, an indoor playroom, and free games in the evenings, so you can play all day. The kids have a great time and don't want to leave. It's not expensive, so it's great for adults too. Sometimes the equipment is old, dirty, and dangerous, but as long as an adult is supervising it, it's fine. But why is it that when you leave something behind at night, it's never found first thing the next morning? Did someone steal it? Or are forgotten items just thrown away? How do they manage lost and found items?

Great fun. The 4-year-old had wholesome fun at the water park and the kids club. It was relatively empty on a weekday, which made it a lot more easier to access different activities and entertainment zones.

Perfect spot for kids to play and make friends If you have kids, this place is a must! There’s an indoor playground with air-conditioning, plus a nice pool where children can splash around. A great spot for little ones to play and socialize with kids from different cultures.

Went to Rawai Park with my students (45) age 5 and 6 and it was absolutely amazing. There are many different activities that are fun and engaging for anyone's kids and the staff was the best. The staff is always present and ensuring that all kids are under watch and having fun. I will definitely be visiting again and recommend for anyone that wants a fun activity filled day for any number of kids. All of the staff were very pleasant and professional.

We requested an animation from Rawai Park with a Harry Potter theme. The animation was excellent, and the animators did a great job. They were very friendly, kind, and interacted wonderfully with the kids. The kids are very happy. Thank you so much!

Was expecting great food & service for the amount paid. But unfortunately it was a disappointment. Really need to look into your food quality Kata Rocks. Reduce your minimum spends or increase the quality of your food. Dry & tasteless pizza 0/10 Factory tasting super spicy crab cake 1/10 Lobster spaghetti...poor taste 2/10 Scallops see for yourself 0/10 The pool also overrun with loud annoying young men ratio 20 to 1 to ladies. Maybe you should consider couples only day use. Service slow, not on par for 5 star hotel with these room rates. View & pool/ facilities cleanliness saved the day for the 2 stars. Also no DJ all day (so far at 4pm) and day use guests playing annoying music on their personal speakers. Not recommended

I recently had dinner at the restaurant in Kata Rocks and, although the setting was undeniably beautiful, the overall experience didn’t quite meet my expectations. The dishes looked impressive, but the taste didn’t stand out compared to many other restaurants in Phuket, even those at a lower price point. The service was polite and efficient, but I felt the staff were more focused on maintaining a luxury image than creating a welcoming dining experience. It was all very professional, yet I missed a genuine sense of hospitality. For me, it felt a bit more like dining in a design hotel rather than enjoying a relaxed meal by the sea. Prices were on the higher end, which would have been fine if the experience had matched the expectation. Unfortunately, I left feeling that the meal was beautiful to look at, but emotionally flat — a bit like the setting itself: stunning, but lacking warmth. Overall, it’s a lovely place to visit once for the view, but not somewhere I’d return for the food alone. It’s perfect for those who value presentation and aesthetics above all else, but personally, I prefer restaurants with a bit more soul, flavor, and local charm.

If you are looking for a pool brunch with great view, here is the answer. Sashimi and Lobsters are fresh and many foods look great, unfortunately I could eat just a bit 😆 However, steak sauce is quite disappoint for me that the taste if ketchup that mixed for a sauce too strong 🥹 Staffs all have great Service mind. Come back for sure if I have time 😁

Amazing experience! We started our journey with a fun golf cart trip to the restaurant and when we get there the view was incredible! The whole restaurant is beautiful all cover in white, service was simply perfect and the food was great! One of the best customer service experience that I’ve ever had. I’ve been working in the hospitality industry for more than 5 years and I really appreciate this kind of service because I know how hard it is to be that attentive to a table, even the GM approached to our table to ask how everything was going. Simply perfect! 10/10

The service was spectacular and the food very flavorful. The view during sunset is amazing and in the evening the light of the pool makes a great environment. The wine list is not the best but the food is very good. If you come with your car, they will park for you and take you to the restaurant with a small golf car. I definitely recommend the place.

Kata Rocks is tailor made for perfect photos, even in the rain. The lighting, lines and aesthetics are done with a photographer’s eye. And it doesn’t hurt that the cuisine at least matches the atmosphere. Very tasty, sophisticated and beautifully presented. And the staff is first rate too. The hotel may be pricey and the luster may be a little dimmer than when it first opened, but the Clubhouse restaurant doesn’t disappoint. This is another level of cuisine that what you’ll find elsewhere. And did I mention that the staff is super friendly and accommodating? They’ll take you by buggy back to the main road too. Well worth the visit.

Attended a wedding here with friends. Excellent scenic backdrop for a tropical destination wedding. The setup is good, however the enclosed roof is not vented so expect the evening to be a bit warm. Had the western style seafood meal and was somewhat dissapointed. Soup was served with an uncraked crab claw which was messy for the guests who decided to eat it. Broth was strongly seafood flavoured and served too cold. Canned vegetables were mixed with lobster ruining the main dish. All in all a great location, however be careful in selecting menu options.

Amazing location just off the beach with great food, drinks and surfing lessons. We stayed here for a while and ordered one of the huge pizzas and a Chang tower. It had a great atmosphere and the staff were lovely.

Amazing lasagna! Beautiful decoration. Got a 1 for 1 beer promotion, however they serve it immediately, it doesn't stay cold even with the ice bucket so I'd recommend going with a friend 😆

Unprofessional and Unfair Experience – Very Disappointed Our group of 8 arrived at the surf house at 11:15, ready to go. We politely asked if we could start our session at 11:30, but the staff told us it was only possible to begin on the hour. So we waited until 12:00, assuming that was our only option. When we finally started at 12:00, it was just the 8 of us – which was fine – but between 12:15 and 12:25, the staff allowed *another* 8 people into the session. That meant we had to share the wave with double the amount of people for the majority of our paid hour, drastically cutting down on our time and experience. To make matters worse, only *after* we had waited 45 minutes were we told that it *is* possible to book 30-minute sessions. That information would have made a huge difference if we had known it earlier, but by then it was already too late. Overall, this felt poorly managed and unfair. The lack of clear communication and inconsistent policies negatively impacted our experience. If you're paying for a specific time slot, you expect it to be organized and respected. Sadly, this was not the case. I hope management seriously reviews how they handle scheduling and customer service – because no one wants to feel misled or shortchanged, especially in a group. --- Would you like a shorter version for posting as a public review (e.g. Google Reviews or TripAdvisor)?

Disappointing Experience at Surf House Kata – Not Tourist Friendly Anymore I rode my motorcycle to the Kata area of Phuket — a popular tourist spot I’ve visited many times over the years. I decided to stop at Surf House, a place I’ve been to multiple times and always enjoyed. I arrived, ordered a beer, and asked about the happy hour. The menu clearly stated a discount applies when ordering two beers, which I confirmed with the barman. He asked if I wanted both beers immediately — I said no, and ordered the second one about 10 minutes later from another staff member. I placed the second order in Thai — a language I’m confident enough in for something simple like ordering a drink. The staff member just gave me a blank look. I repeated my order, and he switched to English, asking if I wanted a beer. After handing it to me, I asked (again in Thai) if he had understood my order, and he suddenly started shouting, claiming he was just confirming my order in English. He was visibly angry and shouting loudly, which was completely unnecessary and uncomfortable. When I went to pay, the happy hour discount wasn’t applied. I was told by another staff member that my second drink “wasn’t a happy hour drink” — which makes no sense based on what was shown to me earlier and the timing of my order. Overall: extremely disappointing. What used to be a fun and relaxed spot now feels hostile and unfriendly to tourists. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning — and I can’t recommend it anymore.

Nice Italian place! I would give it a 5/5 but we thought the salmon was quite dry. The pasta is really really good though! They gave a lot of bacon so that was a plus. A must visit if you’re nearby Kata beach.

A very good extensive menu. Little bit of something for everyone including kids. Little higher than most of the other restaurants but my spaghetti or tomato sauce and iced tea which I had to order black tea and ask for ice was under $12 which is not too bad compared to my other meals that were around $5 or $4. The service was good at the food tastes great. It also came with a serving of bread which was really nice. Maybe they'll add iced tea that menu now. At first the waitress freaked out thinking the glass was going to break the glass when I added the hot tea in the glass of ice. I said it's not going to break I do it at home all the time. So we'll see if it gets added to the menu. She tried to give me an empty cup, and I said no I would like a glass, but anyway it was all good so I gave her an extra tip for accommodating me for the iced tea. I had a very nice dinner at the outside dining tables and the evening breeze made it very enjoyable. He also serve wine.

Restaurant Gastone is a pleasant find in Phuket! Delicious cuisine, specifically Italian, without an Asian accent. I liked the serving of bread, oil, water by default as a compliment. The dishes are like in Italy and even tastier. Large portions. Thanks to the team for contributing to a pleasant vacation.

Gastone's Italian delivered! The food was very tasty – even our picky 6-year-old loved the pesto pasta. We enjoyed the spaghetti vongole and Quattro formaggi pizza. Service was quick and friendly, and despite it being a quieter July in Kata, there was still a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Food is really good. Definitely worth spending a bit of extra money for really nice Italian food. Pizza and pasta were both lovely. Portion sizes were really good, and the wine is reasonably priced for what you’re getting. Super friendly staff :) Paid 1,700 baht for starter to share, two mains and wine!

This restaurant was near our hotel and we thought it would be a great break from Thai food. Ordered Hawaiian pizza, tagliatelle bolognese, carpaccio, spaghetti clams. We liked the pasta dishes but didn't like the pizza and carpaccio. Pizza dough had a sour dough taste and the bread was too hard and chewy. The restaurant doused the carpaccio with too much balsamic vinegar that it was too sweet and drowned the taste of the carpaccio. They charge a 3% service charge here. We spent $56 usd for the food. They don't allow outside food and they don't have cold coconut.

Went for a steak on Saturday evening around 8.30/8.45, so not particularly late for an evening. I have absolutely no complaints about the food, it was excellent. Beautifully cooked rib eye steak for my husband and I had a combination of pork loin and fillet steak. Both cooked great along with some beautiful dauphinoise potatoes and a nice bottle of red wine. The problem began when the staff started to close up around us, it was only 9.35. We were presented with the bill, even though we had not requested it and we were still drinking the wine. We were not even asked if we wanted a desert. The staff then proceeeded to cover all the glasses on the bar and bring in all the outside tables around us. It was clear that they wanted to leave. The kitchen staff departed dragging all the rubbush through the restaurant in front if us. We were made to feel very uncomfortable. It is a shame as the steaks really were excellent and on a 2 week holiday we would probably have gone back, but unfortunately we shall not return.

The food was ok. We had ribeye and potatoes. The potato’s were not the best to be honest but the steak was not bad. To be honest not much to say as there was nothing of a wow factor and nothing that was bad.

Truly was the best steakhouse in town. Run by a Swedish guy. Very efficient. Best thing on the menu was the steak stuffed in blue cheese and wrapped in bacon. I should know. Ate here four times. Lovely! Bit pricey but worth the money. The beef is Australian and comes in by ship, vacuum packed and aging. Not frozen. Hence amazing presentation.

This steak house is just in front of 'Dino Park' along the Karon road taking to Kata. Passing there just few minutes before 6 pm we saw the promotion 'happy hour' promo with 25% discount on the menu.and got it. Very good australian meat burgher, as in the pic, with french fries.

Staying at the adjacent apartments made visiting this place ideal, especially as they include a discount for residents! The food is fabulous not the best Italian cuisine we’ve ever eaten in Thailand, but certainly close. I thought the desserts were excellent as were the cocktails, it’s just a shame that no one who works there seems to be aware of the happy hour deal emblazoned on the side of their own delivery van outside the restaurant...? We even enquired twice about this arrangement, only to eventually be informed that the happy hour only applies if you’re having a meal there... what? From 3-6pm? 🤔

Lovely place... The truffle pasta is to die for, the rare tenderloin was a thing of beauty, the tiramisu and the Chianti were up to par with the rest of the food. Every time I'm there is great. Awesome service.

Where do I start. Not sure if there was a change in management, but we had the worst experience. Obviously you're skeptical when trying western foods in Thailand, but after reading good reviews we had to try it. Long story short, avoid this establishment. Raviolis were cold and smothered in mushroom sauce, I assume to hide the quality and taste. Lasagna was hard and not much better. We wanted Italian after having a great experience at another establishment, but regretted the moment when we first walked in and noticed we were the only ones there for the night. Just writing this review makes me want to vomit. Run! Immediately after, we went somewhere else to cleanse our palate. 😷

We normally avoid Western foods when traveling to New places, but after a week of Curry (and a mild case of food poisoning) the whole family was up for something different. I can safely say this is the most well prepared, presented, and delicious meal we've had. The mozzarella for the Caprese is real Buffalo mozzarella imported from Italy, the pasta is home-made, and the seafood is generous and well-prepared. I highly recommend the seafood risotto, and the seafood salad. The prices are high but for good reason; the food is worth every penny.

This is one of restaurants that you should visit. It is a very nice restaurant and cafe with so beautiful views of the Adaman sea. They have various choices of seafood and Thai local foods. The food price is reasonable and tourism price. I recommend you to stop at here for a short time. The staff are so friendly and kind. Their service is impressive and fast.

Nice hilltop located at south of kata beach. Too bad, i came not only for hilltop sunset but reggae. No music at all. Not even thai. Where is my Bab Marley?! Ok, here is the following story, i saw the staffs uniform with Bob Marley head at the back. I couldn't resist and ask, why no reggae music? Do they sell the staff uniform?? The answer is yes! They immediately turned on the music & showed me all colours for Polo & T shirt for 350 baht. Well, i grabbed myself one! Best shopping experience ever!

May 16th - Contracted severe food poisoning due to, what I believe was old, decayed pork meat ribs. The first set of ribs tasted weird, but was slothered with a strange overpowering bbq sauce. The second set had a different taste, but totally dried out as can be probably seen in picture. The chicken was totally overcooked and dry and was certainly not edible, maybe stale. The fries were tasty, but the best was their salad. Not worth the promo price! And my birthday lunch became a nightmarish memory. I can't recommend this venue. I question their food safety protocols and save handing.

We tried both Thai and Western dishes, and while the Thai food was flavorful and authentic, some of the international dishes (like the pizza) could have been a bit fresher. Still, everything was well-presented and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff speaking good English and always ready to help with recommendations. Prices are a little above local spots, but fair for the quality and location. Overall, a great place to enjoy good food and live entertainment in Kata Beach. Especially nice if you’re looking for a mix of Thai cuisine and Western favorites.

The pepper steaks we had were perfect! Cooked to perfection & melt in your mouth flavours. Excellent service from all waiting staff. Highly recommended. The food is super in this restaurant as I didn’t have the time even to take pictures of the main dish. No doubt to try it. Had a wonderful experienced dining there. My wife bought me to the restaurant for my birthday celebration on 7th Feb and was surprised by the friendly and wonderful staff singing the birthday songs to us. Even better, the celebrations were accompanied by the delicious chocolate brownies and ice cream on the house. The experience and memories will always remain in our hearts!

Visited on my second night arriving in Kata... AMAZING Birria Tacos and definitely recommend it! Tasted fresh and authentic! Also try the Nacho Chips with Salsa and Guacamole as a starter. Drinks menu is extensive and beer is always cold! Owner is very polite and immediately acted when i raised an issue on my other night there. Very accommodating! Live music is pleasant backdrop to a good drink and tasty food! The breakfast is also worth going for. Convenient location!

Very disappointing and upsetting experience! We came to this restaurant after reading great reviews about their gluten-free options. The menu even says to ask the staff about gluten-free dishes, so we expected some guidance. Unfortunately, the waitress we had was completely unwilling to help. She refused to tell us which dishes were gluten-free or even share the ingredients of the ones we asked about. Her explanation was that the restaurant “doesn’t want to take responsibility if something bad happens.” We calmly explained that it’s not a life-threatening allergy and that we would take full responsibility, we just wanted to know what’s inside the food so we could make an informed choice. Still, she refused to cooperate. In the end, we had to leave the restaurant sad and hungry. After 30 days of traveling in Thailand and eating safely and happily everywhere else, this was the only place where we were treated this way. Please note: If you have any dietary restrictions this might not be the right place.

On the beach, there is a small but very spacious park, which will be interesting and useful for both adults and children, - here are wonderfully combined: sports simulators, playground with slides and swings, very convenient and comfortable gazebos with benches, - where you can relax from the heat and refresh yourself! On the territory of the park is a nice, soft lawn, a small number of tall palm trees, and it is located on one of the most popular beaches of Phuket - Kata. In the evening, after the heat subsides, a large number of Thais and foreigners go jogging and other active sports here. The clean, well-maintained park is a good place to come here in the evening after the heat has died down and spend time with your kids or friends doing some exercise! Kata beach community park is a great place for families with kids who want to enjoy outdoor activities. The outdoor exercise playground and Zumba dance classes offer a fun way to stay active and healthy. The park's location near the beach also provides a beautiful view of the sunset, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day.

Perfect Gym Park for a morning workout. Jogging track and a full suite of fixed workout equipment. Some early evenings also have Zumba in park open to everyone.

A peaceful green space right next to Kata Beach, Kata Beach Community Park is ideal for a short walk, relaxation, or enjoying sea views away from the main crowd. The park has a few benches, trees providing shade, and open areas where locals often gather in the evenings. It’s also a good spot for watching the sunset without standing directly on the sand. Clean and calm, it adds a nice local touch to the busy beachside area. Pros: Quiet and relaxing. Shady seating areas. Nice sunset view. Cons: Limited facilities. Small in size. Can get a bit crowded during evenings.

This is a beautiful beach but limited places to swim. Most of the beach is taken up by private hotels and exclusive restaurants. There is a playground, public shower, public restrooms, a sand bocce ball and life-sized chess board and beautifully kept grounds. We didn't stay and I didn't take photos.

A non-touristy small Chinese temple easily accessible from Kata beach. Very beautiful details! Free to enter. TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF before coming up the stairs to the temple (there’s a picture sign but no worded sign)

Not a tourist destination, you can come in for blessing a good wish with the holy image respected among local people in the area. Not bad architecture for the temple.

Been to The Boathouse twice now — the first time a while back and then just recently, and it’s still just as good as before. The vibe is relaxed but classy, the food and cocktails are spot on, and the beachfront view never gets old. Service is warm and consistent too, which makes the whole experience even better. Asked for Vegemite during breakfast, and to my surprise, they've got it! A little touch of home that made me smile. Definitely a place I’d keep coming back to when in Phuket.

I stayed at the Boathouse Hotel in Phuket as part of my 10-day solo trip across Thailand, and it was truly one of the best places I experienced. Traveling alone, I felt especially supported here. At one point I wasn’t feeling well, and every staff member went out of their way to take care of me. They checked in regularly, made sure I had nourishing food, and helped me bounce back quickly. Beyond the kindness of the team, the hotel itself is beautiful—stunning beachfront views, relaxing poolside spaces, and excellent amenities. I’m incredibly grateful for my time here. The warmth and care from the staff made my stay not just memorable, but genuinely special.

Very good location. Right on the beach. The kids till 12 go free and the entry fee covers food and beverage orders. Food quality also was very good. When you are done with the beach you can chill in the pool with their drinks.

Where do I begin? This is hands down the best resort in Kata beach. Ocean front, safe, you can lounge in the pool and walk a couple steps to the ocean. We hesitated renting here before but so glad we did. We got the penthouse suite in the 4th floor with two bedrooms. It was perfect with a balcony. I sit here morning and night and take in the beautiful ocean view. Breakfast is amazing, it comes with the room. You can order as many dishes as you want from the expansive menu. There are western and Thai selections. There was even Australian steak. The breakfast food quality was excellent as they are made to order. The selections are great you get western and Asian selections. The pool was wonderful they serve cold water, fruits, cold towels. We really love the ocean front access and the convenience. The staff are so nice as well. This is my new favorite hotel. Their service and amenities are comparable to the big name hotels.

The Boathouse Phuket has a nice atmosphere and the location is great, but for the price, I expected better service. It wasn’t bad, but it felt like they could have offered more attention and care for guests. Overall, the stay was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

We stayed here for 3 nights and think the hotel is pretty perfect. You can walk right onto the beach, the restaurant has perfect beach views, the breakfast is delicious, and staff is very friendly. We would highly recommend!

Best hotel at Kata Beach and the only one right on the sand. Location is perfect and it’s next to Ska Bar. A bit pricey but worth it if you want comfort and a real beach stay. Go for the bigger rooms, much better.

Good food, nice to have the options of 2 thai dishes with rice as a manu. My Steak was sadly 'Well Done' Cool location: Karaoke Bar, another Bar at the top, Massage and Weed Place as well as an abandoned rooftop you can walk up to and have a nice view of the town. The live music was wonderful, though seating is a bit too spaced out and you felt bad for the artists. Has a nice swing for kids or your Instagram pictures. Lots of walking "vendors" that walk past trying to sell gadgets or self-made items. Also kids as young as 6 trying to sell roses, very sad to see them being forced to do this by their parents. My girlfriend was crying during dinner over this.

We've been in this place with friends once for dinner and twice for breakfast (they've got very good choices either you like savory or sweet brekkie). As for dinner, everything was great. Price, service and food! They do have Australian/European choices as well, if you really miss your everyday food. As for breakfast, they do have coffee and cakes as well, adding to the normal breakfast menu. In the morning, however, service is quite weird...we ordered 2 dishes and 2 smoothies, for each one of the two times we had breakfast there, and...we'll...they brought literally 1 thing at a time 😅. Anyhow, place is recommended, fair prices!

It seems like there are a few restaurants in Palm Square, we were at O-oh restaurant. It has a very nice atmosphere and music choice. There is a variety of seating options, inside and out, really nice place. Extensive food and drinks menu. There is live music every evening from 19:30-23:30. I had a Chinese pear and avocado smoothie, the display was pretty, but it tasted very bland: "lacking strong features or characteristics and therefore uninteresting". Maybe it was my poor choice in order. 🤭 (I would recommend if you want the best smoothies in Thailand rather support the small stalls on the street. 😉) But all in all it was still a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly.

Very Nice Place in Kata with great Food and an excellent atmosphere with a lot of art around you. I can highly recommend O-oh Restaurant which had great food and super delicious homemade IceCream. The Staff and Owner were vet friendly and we had a great time there. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the food as we were so hungry that I forgot to take some.

Best pizza I have in a super long time. Also the first Roman street style pizza I tried. Delicious! They should fit more business because it’s so good!

Real Italian food as though you went to an Italian Mothers House with a cute vibe a great presentation! I chose the three pizza board and yes it’s a lot for one person but if you have the time, a couple of limoncello spritz cocktails and appetite then go for it! Definitely recommend the Diavola and Crudo E Ricola! The food was delicious, great service and freshly made! 100% recommend this place and most of all I was sat next to two tables of Italian customers! Menu had pizza, pasta and salads!

I really enjoyed coming to this place. The staff were very gentle and fun. As we were a lot of people t tu hey gave us for free a drink shot at the end of the meal. Very recommended. If you come to Kata you definitely should come here. Thanks a lot!

After eating (great) Thai food for 4 weeks, we were craving Italian food. We are always hesitant abroad, because it's never quite as good as home. Can I say, this might have been the best Italian food we have eaten in southeast asia. It was amazing. The taste was just right. I really advice the pasta carbonara and the pizza slices. Also thank you for the good service 😊 we'll be back!

Highly recommended! Very tasty and good service. Focaccia slices are delicious and they bake it themselves. The variations are extraordinary and all the ingredients are fresh and typically Italian. The owners are Italian and know what they are doing. We were delighted! Visit the restaurant!
