Absolute heaven on earth for people looking for authentic and organic foods. The market is huge, crowded and hard to maneuver before you get accustomed. It is part of the charm. Here you will find all fruits, vegetables, berries, meets, fish, milk products etc that Ukraine has to offer. They also have product from neighboring countries like Georgia, Moldova and Turkey.

When I stumbled unexpectedly the first time I flipped a lid. This place is brimming with life, spices and buildings separate to each other for different markets.There is a building for dried meats,one for seafood with fish jumping waiting to be purchased, it's endless and you need a full day to just walk and look before you would even consider buying anything it's that overwhelming. I since found out that this market is famous throughout the whole Soviet Union.It is an absolute must.!!!

amazing market. the best place to go and get whatever food you need. they are very organized and have separate areas for different type of products; beef, pork, lamb, chicken, dairy, cured goods, honey. you can expect to get the best prices here and goods you'll not find anywhere else I was able to get some fresh from the cow milk here for 50 cents a liter, it was great.

Huge market. From food to clothing items can be purchased here. Most of the food items from various sellers were found to be fairly fresh with sometimes price differences for the same item depending on the seller. If you are not in a hurry you can save a bunch by taking time to look all over the market before making a purchase. Inside the market was fairly clean however, some of the streets surrounding the market were littered with refuse that definitely was an eye sore with attention quite needed. In all it was a decent market with different boutiques and restaurants in the surroundings. Update July 30th, 2021: As an update to my earlier review, a lot has changed in terms of surroundings and stalls added to this market. The changes are remarkable and actually beautify the market! The Tram tracks and stops had been replaced and now it's like night and day compared to what it was when I first wrote my review. Kudos!

An absolutely must see and must be in Odessa. This place is full of people - locals and tourists (you can chat with locals, since they are talkative). You can buy here absolutely everything - exotic fruit, spices, seafood, as well as local ones- fresh watermelons, grapes, tomatoes. What is not nice about this place is the smell in the place where meat is. And the worst thing is the fact that majority of stalls closes around 5PM, and there's information that it's working till 7PM.

Anything you need, you can find at this market for an affordable price. It's a confluence between different coulinaire cultures. From fresh first to brand new clothes, from different meat types to all types of cheeses.

This place is just majestic. Absolutely beautiful and astounding work of architecture. The surrounding location and water fountain are also magnificent. I saw Carmen and the tickets were extremely affordable for the masterful performance. This was my first Opera viewing and it was absolutely delightful. I felt very dapper for that evening. This is a must-see in Odessa and I urge you to see an opera while you visit, the acoustics and seating were phenomenal. I would do this again as a first-time goer to the Opera.

Spectacular architecture with very nice outside settings not far from the beach. I visited it in October 2022, and finally, watched Opera Turandot in March 2025. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My wife and I were there watching the opera Carmen. We had the pleasure of sitting in a box. An incredible atmosphere, an architecturally very interesting building. In the breaks between the files you can have a good look at the inside of the opera and take photos. The staff were very helpful in finding the right place.

Took a guided tour but unfortunately it was in Russian and not in English. However, I still enjoyed the tour because of the fascinating interior architecture designs of the theatre. Was built in the 1800s making it one of the oldest opera theatres in the world and it is the most famous landmark of Odessa that you definitely want to visit. The Swan Lake was being preformed in the theatre when I was in Odessa but unfortunately tickets were sold out!

Great park for walking around. Several fountains, monuments and benches looking like open books make it a nice park to both chill and stroll. There are several stands selling drinks and snacks so you won't go hungry either.

The park is big, you can see the port, also you can take the cabin to the hill above. A little dangerous to ride the cabin, but the view is nice. A lot of flowers and cats. There are lots of benches, and street stores. Very nice!

A very good park for walking and jogging. It has the Chornomorets football stadium in the center, which is the main football team representing the city. The park is neatly maintained and as clean as it can get. It even has several fountains around it, and pretty benches shaped like open books(which contains details about the famous ukranian writers) near the monument of Shevchenko. There's also an open air theatre inside which is a must visit during summer days.

I went here with my kids thinking it would be kind of lame (but amazing for children). I was completely wrong. It was very interesting and fun for adults too. In fact I saw some adults having more fun than their kids (I won't say I wasn't one of them:) ) we ended up staying there until closing and had a blast, both kids and 4 adults between 25-38

One of the best scientific museums I have seen. Many different experiments physics, optics, mechanics, acustica and other interesting staff. Unfortunately no translation in english so find some locals for you to translate. Very good for kids and thous who in love with science.

Cozy hangout place with nice romantic European atmosphere. You can experience a glimpse of Lviv without being in Lviv. There is a whole array of chocolates in varying shapes and flavors along with drinks. I had a dark chocolate latte and it was great. A tad over sweetened but dark chocolates bitterness helped it to balance. You can also get a table service here by the way. English menu is available and the pricing is very reasonable as well. I would recommend the Lviv style cheesecake.

We had a wonderful experience here. The meze set was nice and pork chops were excellent. My only recommendation for the is to stop serving the quinoa salad hot, the flavors just don't blend well.

We really enjoyed this restaurant: first of all it's very romantic (even with our 18 month old joining us), and the food was beyond tasty. The salads were amazing, the mussels and steak super tasty, and the Napoleon is a unique take on a dessert classic that is worth coming here on its own. We'll definitely return again if we come back to Odessa.

I liked this restaurant the best of all the ones we tried in Odessa on this trip. My American fiance tried borscht at 3 different restaurants in Odessa and said this was best... and I will admit that my own borscht is not as good as theirs :) Our server was a real pro, and when we were there there was a performer singing in French. The live music was perfect - not too loud and created a very pleasant atmosphere. They even had a great odorless bug spray that was truly odorless and worked. They have english menu and even though the waiter didn't speak proper english he tryed his best. They have tables inside and outside in the backyard. The show had a wonderful theme and was very exciting. Only thing i did not enjoy was the fact that the show is largely spoken in Russian, even though there were enough foreign people present. If you love dolphins, don't miss out on this incredible experience.

For 100 they can let you hold some of the lizards or snake and have your picture taken with them which was pretty fun.

We wanted to visit the beach and eat some fish. Check on google we find this place and right away headed there. It’s seems to be the only upper level fish place in all the Beach area. We had some Tatar’s, soup and fish. It was good service and food was quite good. With 3.500 for 3 people it wasn’t cheap but fair for quality and service. We definitely recommend that place.

This establishment is on track for a long lasting future. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you just travelled into another world. The service staff were extremely professional and made you feel like a real guest. Compliments to our server and especially the bartender for making me a pisco sour which was an off menu drink. What a great place. Such a relaxing, romantic atmosphere, lovable decoration ideas. The quality of food and service is high. Admins and waiters are polite and helpful. Big selection of cakes that look and taste awesome. And tea! Finally the tea is loose big leaf not a teabag what gives it strong flavor and bitter taste (appreciated by strong tea lovers). Great job to all the Terrace team. You made our time out great.

The place looks great and has some nice food as well. But you need to watch out, our waiter kept trying to sell us things which were off menu which were much more expensive... In addition the menu states the price for 100g but the minimum portion size can be 300g or higher sometimes which brings the price way higher and the waiter wouldn't warn you at all.

Excellent Georgian restaurant in the heart of Odessa. Great choices of food; great choices of wine. Food came fast and was super tasty !

Really good location ,we sat out at night it's beautiful to look out to the street with the butterflies lights on the trees , food wise are not very impressive , nothing fancy just huge portion and cheap price. According to the guys(local) the meat skewers (shashluk)were very good.

Good food in a good price. I recommend khachapuri Kinza and khinkali with different stuffing. There is also great lemonade. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was twice and I will be certainly again. 😊

Good place. Environment is good, we sat down outside and is in the main street of Odesa. So that is expensive but food is good. We ordered some typicall georgian food and it was good, but like I said a bit expensive.

Mmmhhhh, such incredible food ❤️ that was the tastiest lunch we had in Odessa, and the lemonade was fantastic in the hot weather. Unfortunately we couldn't eat one more time here and taste all the other Georgian dishes.

You will find a nice Georgian restaurant in Very beautiful place, with tasty foods, you don’t need reserving the table but its possible if you wish, setting outside when the weather is good ( for smokers) or inside with more comfortable table.. Price range are good, enjoy your male at the hart of Odessa city center;) Highly recommend

I think this might have actually been the best food I’ve ever eaten.

Just wow. If you look for local produce kitchens, here is the one. Dinner was top at each dish. Make sure you check out QR code with daily supply menu, as there some great options there (see photos). All goes well with good choice of wine, natural options in my case. Service is great. Highly recommend.

The food is so good! The chef must be one of the best. The food is not only amazingly tasty and beautiful, but the flavours are combined in ways that are new but somehow feel like you’ve always loved them this way. It is like high cuisine and home cooked food at the same time. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, especially with our three noisy kids and the large stroller. We felt very welcome and the kids enjoyed their modified custom meals. The special of the week, the pike was just out of this world. The greens in the salads were all super fresh. The kids loved the freshly made lemonades. The Napoleon cake is very tender and soft with a perfectly moderated sweetness.

Cozy place with tasty food and helpful stuff in heart of Odessa. Better book the table in advance. Prices are average. Tom Yam was delicious and spicy, snails was good. Penicillin👌 Best impression.

Cool hipster place at very central location. Great starters and soups especially the one with foie gras.main courses are less exciting. not a typical israeli food but on the right direction. Nice atmosphere and fair price. my fav place in town.

Amazing food with great recipes. Tap water and well balanced cocktails. Hospitable staff. I personally prefer appetizers and soups.

Good place! it was a rainy day so we went there because it was close to our appartment. Anyway food was good, original made and the environment was cozy, inside and outside. There was a simpatic black cat with us as well ;). We ordered dishes we only saw in that place so because of that we enjoyed it. Service was very kind so is recommended to go and try by yourself!

weirdly expensive (in comparison with the normal cafes in Odesa) and kinda meaningless as a memorial of Gogol. It's more like an ordinary teahouse with nothing special but a cafe based on Gogol's house.

Delicious food, very lovely patio design, good portions and great overall value for money! Would definitely come back here when we are visiting Osessa next time.

Coming for seafood - was not disappointed. Friendly staffs and tasty cuisine. They also offer english menu :)

Gogol mogol restaurant intererior was superb while chilled music in the air made atmosphere even better. Menu is wide and prices is very reasonable. In addition, the service was great and quick.

Absolutely mind-blowing deliciousness! Odessa is a great place to eat. But out of the 3 excellent restaurants we've gone to in Odessa, Gogol Mogol takes the palm: fresh, clean authentic tastes, very hearty dishes that all seems straight out from the books of different Grand-mas who would have shared their own special secret recipes to create the epitomy of Eastern cuisine. Even better: our waitress Tatiana was just... Perfect. Kind and extremely effective, good recommendation in English and very patient with our kind, the touristy "what's this what's that" kind. Thank you again for this amazing experience!!! We will come back to Odessa just to eat there. A must-taste.

Excellent cuisine, lots of place to sit outside during warm days. Moreover, it is close to center and yet located on a calm street...bit away from hustle bustle of deribasovskaya street.
