This place was great. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the servers were super nice and very patient with us when it came to language differences. We ordered a sausage platter with pretzel and it was enough for two.

We sat at the bar for a quick drink. The bartender was fine. The selection OK, and the prices were reasonable. Will be back for dinner. Update: Came back for dinner. Ordered fish and the frying pan with pork and veg. The server was quick and friendly, the food and drinks came fast. Everything was fresh and delicious. I wish the portions were a bit more generous.

The place itself is nice in the cellar, however, the service attitude was extremely bad and unwelcoming; in the terrace no suggestions to go inside, and inside, in the basement, the menus were just bluntly thrown to our table without any welcoming words. Downstairs live music. When we had made our order, the personnel approached us telling that we have only one hour to finish our meal. I told that in that case they can forget our order and we will leave the place if can't eat without a hurry. We stated that the table was not reserved when we sat there and therefore we should be able to eat taking our time. After they refused, we left the place. I strongly recommend to avoid the place.

Unique Odessan cuisine, very impressive food overall. Great locally brewed beer topped it off nicely. Service a little slow but the food makes up for it.

We sat there yesterday, waited 10 minutes, the staff didn’t even give us a menu - looked like they were to busy chatting with each other and didn’t paid attention. Definitely go somewhere else - so many other restaurants with excellent service in Odessa.

Very very special place in Odessa, must go place not only for gastronomical reasons but also for listening local way of speaking and enjoyment of interior with the very very friendly staff members. This place is for sure the best place where one can have wonderful Odessa type cuisine and bier and Kvass. Once in Odessa visit this interesting tavern with long history and enjoy.

Good place with an abundance of seating inside and out! All three beers were great as were the mussels we enjoyed :) chicken Caesar salad was sad to say the least. Service was friendly but almost non existent for a place with one table

If you're into brown pubs, this is the place. Good selection of beer and drinks. Didn't eat myself, but saw they had a rich food cart. Nice guy with a beard working here also, he was cool.

One of my favorite drinking holes in Odessa. They have multiple seating areas including 2 outdoor terraces. Their scotch room has one of the largest single malt collections in eastern europe (over 700 bottles, many of them rare and expensive!) The whiskey sommelier is very knowledgeable, I learned so much from her. The whiskey room is a perfect place for an informal business meeting, quite date or just to chill with friends. Highly recommended!

Great service, beer and atmosphere (backpipe player is great!)

The interior and exterior of the pub is amazing. However the food was not so great , hamburgers need to be improved and not so salty. Also lots of beers were out of order. Looks like this place has a lot to offer, but something is going wrong there. Also the waiters need more training to gain more knowledge in beer and whisky.

Pretty good Scottish Pub in a very center, especially the terraces are good. The higher one have a powerful ventilated airflow with some water sprayed around. Cool feature IMHO. The last star, IMHO, answering your question, could be won by adding to the stock some more of the beers, mentioned in the menu, but unavailable at the moment)

Despite the fact that the experience on the whole was not negative, I have to mention that the service from the bar in this place is at best, amateur. 2 bar tenders and a waitress serving maximum 15 people at that time and I had to stand there, being ignored for 5 minutes, while they were dancing and chating. Not very professional, I am sure you can do better guys.

Unfortunately, this place was a huge disappointment. Ordered Cosmo that came in a Margarita glass and lacked any vodka. Instead it was a gross mix of lime juice and triple sec. Yuck. I must add that the waitress (a girl with a blond bob cut) was nice. If you have a cocktail on the menu, make sure your staff is properly trained on how to serve it.

Supposed to be a rock bar, but when I went a group were doing shots and listening to Russian folk-pop-techno.. something terrible anyway. Wish they would actually stick to their concept because it could then be a nice bar. Owners have to be more strict with people working there about music profile, if you just allow anyone who bartends to put on their own music you are in for trouble.

Everything is quite nice, but the bartender tried to force me to buy more with motivation "you will order another one soon anyway, so order more now to save my time". I don't think it's ok, especially when customer makes a clear order.

No one speaks English so we couldn't communicate with the waiter. When I asked him for two minutes, he brought two Jack Daniel's which he didn't want to take back. Payments only in cash.

The bartenders at this bar only care about money, not their guests. I visited the place and asked the bartender for a recommendation. I said I like elderberry and basil and I don't drink whiskey, tequila or wine. I got three recommendations : Basil Smash Gin Garden And a third one on with rum and mint. I chose the third option as I had already drunk the others and wanted to try something new. Unfortunately I didn't like the cocktail and after the first sip I asked to change it. They took it away and made a new one. When I asked for the bill they made me pay for both cocktails and when I asked the explain it because it's my mistake for listening to the bartender's recommendation. This happened for the first time in my life, I have visited more than 10 countries and never met with such service. I am very sorry that this place doesn't care about customer satisfaction and I have a feeling that they do it on purpose to make the bill bigger.

There is no sign outside since the barber is on the back on this bar but let me tell you one of the best hair cut service I ever had:) not expensive 400UAH wit tip that was well deserved:) absolutely recommend this place the young barber was so good and precise! Enjoy your visit!

Nice bar and comfortable place to meet your friends in the center of Odessa. They've tables outside but no chairs. And not loud but good music.

Mixed impressions. On the one hand, here I got the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. On the other hand, it also was a fly in the ointment. A friend of mine ordered a cocktail that was not in the menu (a waitress offered it) and it was just perfect (you can see it on the photo). So then I've order the same and got just literary a mango juice with vodka! After asking to change we got an explanation that it was "all the maximum they could do".

I visited this restaurant, where to start.. the staff were very friendly, spoke perfect English and very knowledgeable. I started with a coffee while I made my choice. I started with the avocado salad, which was delicious. I followed with the duck, the meat melted in my mouth, the apple and cucumber added to the dish. For dessert I had the chocolate fondant, the center was soft and the caramel mouse and ice cream were amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food very good, presentation fantastic as was the service. Our congratulations to the restaurant for employing Sergey, a great, enthusiastic advocate happy to converse in Russian and English. Great atmosphere with a pianist playing in the courtyard and if compared to other European restaurants great value for money. I wouldn't go if very hungry however as portions are quite small. Again in comparison to other good restaurants.

Unique deco, perfect service and impressive food make this place a sure bet! The cook is successfully revisiting some classics like Tuna tartare or Vittelo Tonnato... There is definitely a great cook here and we will be back.

Burgers and fries were microwaved, cooked much earlier than it was served. The Greek salad was overloaded with oil. They had no ice and refused to put a table cover.l had to ask for tissues several times. Other than it's location, it's better for you to go to McDonald's.

We have order an "éclair" and the waiter tells us that the price on the menu is wrong because the size of the "éclair" is bigger. He asked us if we're still okay to get one at a higher price we say "yes, no problem". At the end we have been served "profiteroles" and when I ask another waiter what's the desert name, the answer was "profiteroles". From that start a nice conversation and the waiter says that this is an "eclair" too, we could have added chocolate on the top. The problem is that we are french and we know a bit about food and pastries. An eclair doesn't look like that and it is full of chocolate unless you order it with the coffee flavor. Anyway make sure to get what you're ordering if you happen to come here.

As far as I know, this is one of the best establishments in Odessa. The restaurant is distinguished by its readiness, courtesy of waiters and a huge assortment of dishes. The menu consists of dishes from different nations of the world. Huge selection of drinks. My wife and I have lunch and rest here very often, the location of the restaurant is very convenient, visiting is not a problem.

The cocktails were the best i've ever had. They managed to nail the right amount of alcohol. Also the waterpipe was delightful The music was a bit too loud, so you can't really talk to your friends very well, but the atmosphere and service is great!

Pros: Great quality service and security. I loved all, from interior design to the attention to details from the staff. Cons: Only one toilet per gender. Decibel level sometimes above safety levels in the karaoke club.

Stayed here to celebrate our grandma’s birthday and everything was just amazing! These guys know how to make your day a special one! We stayed near the swimming pool and it was terrific with a great design and top niche products on the menu! One of the top places of Odessa, so will definitely come here again 😉

This place is definitely not for people from the civilized world. Ant-slip tiles around the pool or in common areas? Accessible bathrooms? Shallow pool for kids? Nah, who needs this stuff! Let's just charge US prices for drinks nobody here knows how to make properly and prohibit guests from bringing in food or drink for their children and call it an "elite" resort.

Have visited the Terrace Club on Friday and Saturday. Just a Club with a Villa Style for the rich old men, period! Clean facilities though. Avoid this joint if you are a male without female colleague visiting here because I have seen two ocasions the securities have bounced only guys whom were ended up wasting time and money. They were only accepting the guys with a reserved table then. For the US clubbers, the music just sucks; over the 90% of the music are old school pop songs, old soviet and/or ukranians songs, and some techno.

It is very calm and relaxing atmosphere with an option to jump into the pool once it will be hot. Light and contemporary menu.

Its the shities club ever ! They try to scam you once they see you foreigner! Asked us to pay about 150$ Deposit! each just to set on bar ? The put soldiers on the entrance !! Is it an army base or a club ? Never go to a place where thry disrepect you guys !!

One of the best club in Ukraine and especially in Odessa . Excellent service and relation towards the guests . I highly recommend to visit Park Residence while travelling to Odessa, Ukraine .

Nice place, The prices are not the cheapest, you can find cheaper places nearby than this place, but the place is good and covered, I sat outside, it's nice to see the whole street and the atmosphere is good.

A huge improvement over the former Traveler's Cafe, in terms of decor, food and service. However, there is still room for improvement. The tea I ordered was much too sugary, especially after I indicated a preference for tea without sugar. Unfortunately Synergy Group has not been able to fix this problem for many years.

Was surprised by the place itself - very cozy and warming. Their patio is another thing to mention. Had a breakfast there, very tasty, portion of breakfast benedict was smaller then I wanted, but wasn't the case for deserts - napoleon cake was enough for 2 people. Friendly stuff and one of the best coffee, great healthy options and amazing carob cacao. Would recommend to visit.

Cool place, average price for coffee shop if we take into account option for takeaway which gives you 15% discount. They as well work long hours. I wasn't ordering a food here but it looks delicious but a pricy for me

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! I went here twice in two days and I wish I could go every day!! Anastasia was a lovely waitress and was super friendly. Highly recommend the chicken waffles and the cheesecake with salted caramel sauce...thank me later!

I enjoy this place. It’s located just in the heart of the city. Always with good service and tasty food. Some places have changed but this one is still very nice one. We were there with my mom in the week,service was quick and food was perfect. I have ordered a salad and my mom has ordered purée and meatballs.

Just read a review from ‘Helen’ who clearly failed to receive the gift of a personality from Santa Claus.... Amazing food, great drinks and a warm and relaxing atmosphere. A regular stop in Odessa and one I’ll continue to visit...hopefully not seeing Helen during my travels! :)

This place is just majestic. Absolutely beautiful and astounding work of architecture. The surrounding location and water fountain are also magnificent. I saw Carmen and the tickets were extremely affordable for the masterful performance. This was my first Opera viewing and it was absolutely delightful. I felt very dapper for that evening. This is a must-see in Odessa and I urge you to see an opera while you visit, the acoustics and seating were phenomenal. I would do this again as a first-time goer to the Opera.

Spectacular architecture with very nice outside settings not far from the beach. I visited it in October 2022, and finally, watched Opera Turandot in March 2025. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My wife and I were there watching the opera Carmen. We had the pleasure of sitting in a box. An incredible atmosphere, an architecturally very interesting building. In the breaks between the files you can have a good look at the inside of the opera and take photos. The staff were very helpful in finding the right place.

Took a guided tour but unfortunately it was in Russian and not in English. However, I still enjoyed the tour because of the fascinating interior architecture designs of the theatre. Was built in the 1800s making it one of the oldest opera theatres in the world and it is the most famous landmark of Odessa that you definitely want to visit. The Swan Lake was being preformed in the theatre when I was in Odessa but unfortunately tickets were sold out!

If you’re looking for traditional food, this is your place. The dishes we had were outstanding, so delicious and fresh.

If you want to experience true local cuisine, then this is the place to be. Entering inside you instantly feel like you have traveled back in time to a seemingly quieter way of life. The service staff was kind and very helpful when explaining the dishes. As the food was placed on our table it was obvious that the culinary team took pride in every plate. The smells, textures, seasonings, and presentation were all a powerful statement of who these people are. They are a proud people with food and hospitality that are unmatched. Very happy I got to experience it.

Highly recommended local Ukrainian restaurant! Local Odesan food but also many dishes and drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) from all over Ukraine, for really reasonable prices, lovely service, and the best traditional decoration and uniforms! Even the music playing was very nice Ukrainian pop music.

This place has really good authentic Ukrainian food! The place itself is filled with all kinds of Ukrainian traditional items and the staff is dressed in costumes. But, when we tried to order the steak it wasn't good and after getting a new one we were disappointing once again... So I'd recommend only ordering the traditional dishes

Kumanets is a great restaurant with an outstanding variety of traditional dishes. The decoration and the ambiance are an entertainment by themselves. It's always great to come back!

This was sooooo good 🤩 the food is delicious, even the herbs in early May taste like it was July. I’m genuinely impressed and in love with the place and cuisine.

This restaurant is beautifully situated in what seems to be an old sanitarium. With the option to sit and eat outside in a beautiful garden setting or inside a house that is a blast from the past (1800's-ish). We sat in a room that could have been a bath house with a fully functioning tub. The look was incredible. The service staff was kind and professional. They did not shy away from sharing their recommendations. This made everything so easy and comfortable. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. This is a great place for celebrations or just spending time with that special person in your life.

Great food, amazing mushroom soup (seasonal, though) and a great environment. All of that at a fairly reasonable price, too, makes this an easy recommendation. Order some of the more traditional dishes, not just the kebab! Only minor issue was with wasps. They should really use wasp traps rather than just trying to distract them with more food a little further away.

Truly inspired decor, great service, perfectly cooked dishes to the highest standard. I went here with a friend and then also ordered delivery - both were perfect experiences. I had ordered the head chef's cookbook all the way from USA (Seattle) as he is the only one I could find who wrote down some of the traditional Odessa dishes - not Ukrainian, not Russian, not Jewish - special to Odessa. The restaurant itself perfectly captures all the beautiful parts of soviet children's summers at the "dacha": summer home with garden. Freshest ingredients, cooked with love and perfect balance of seasoning (often lacking around Ukraine). Amidst choices of poor impressions of Thai, Japanese, Italian and French cuisine abounding in Odessa, do not miss this gem of a restaurant cooking the food that Odessa and Ukraine does best!

The food was delicious. We enjoyed all the food we had: pickled vegetables, forshmak, stuffed fish, chicken, etc. We know this is one of the best places to eat in Odessa. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing at the begining. We were seated at a table outside without lighting. For a long time, no one served. However, when they gave changed the table and the waiter, things improved.

A classic Odessa experience. Nothing more relaxing than great food in the outdoor garden. Live music and good service. Menu is updated regularly to keep fresh vegetables and fruits. Most recently they added a bucket of local mussels in garlic sauce. The kebabs and kambala/flounder are always reliable choices year round.

We wanted to visit the beach and eat some fish. Check on google we find this place and right away headed there. It’s seems to be the only upper level fish place in all the Beach area. We had some Tatar’s, soup and fish. It was good service and food was quite good. With 3.500 for 3 people it wasn’t cheap but fair for quality and service. We definitely recommend that place.

This establishment is on track for a long lasting future. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you just travelled into another world. The service staff were extremely professional and made you feel like a real guest. Compliments to our server and especially the bartender for making me a pisco sour which was an off menu drink. It was awesome and tasted better than my own at home. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from and does a great job of showcasing the level of skill the culinary team possesses. The Chef here is clearly skilled. The food was not only delicious but comforting. Thank you for an amazing experience.

The staff was great. They spoke Excellent English and also had an English menu. The food was well prepared (probably the best steak I have ever had in Ukraine). The food not only looked amazing but it tasted great too. They also have amazing desserts. I can recommend the Kiev Cake!! The portions are large but the price is too. For a special occasion this place is great. Oh and if you are celebrating a special day....tell them for a pretty cool surprise from the staff. Great place overall...5 stars from me!!

What a gem ,,,, yes its not cheap if you want cheap go to McDonalds , service is phenomenal, everything is so so tasty , you can tell that the products they use is A+, cheif also seems to know his taste buds , you got to try the Tom Yam soup best ive had possibly yet in my life ,, but everything thing else is also so so so good . Highly recommended, will be definitely visiting this place once in Odessa !!!

What a great place. Such a relaxing, romantic atmosphere, lovable decoration ideas. The quality of food and service is high. Admins and waiters are polite and helpful. Big selection of cakes that look and taste awesome. And tea! Finally the tea is loose big leaf not a teabag what gives it strong flavor and bitter taste (appreciated by strong tea lovers). Great job to all the Terrace team. You made our time out great.

The place looks great and has some nice food as well. But you need to watch out, our waiter kept trying to sell us things which were off menu which were much more expensive... In addition the menu states the price for 100g but the minimum portion size can be 300g or higher sometimes which brings the price way higher and the waiter wouldn't warn you at all.

An amazing restaurant. First, the design of the place is very elegant and fancy looking which creates a great atmosphere. The service here is very nice, our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food is high quality and tastes really nice. You can get a great breakfast or have a really nice dinner which might get a bit expensive. If you visit Odessa you should pay this place a visit :)

High quality food in Odessa. I visited here for a late brunch one morning whilst staying in Odessa. The eggs benedict was very tasty (an improvement on many of the other breakfast options in the city). Staff here are friendly and professional. I’d recommend getting one of the seats upstairs overlooking the street if possible.

Be careful!!! One more case of scam. Avoid this place. Yesterday my friend visited this place for dating with girlfriend. And in the end received a ridiculous receipt on paper written by hand. Normally it should be on fiscal receipt. Please avoid such places. Such restaurants have an agreement with local girls and they are paying them a part from a bill. Cheese Camambert - 515 UAH (21,52 USD/19,33 EURO) 6. Chicken Salad - 347 UAH (14,50 USD/13,02 EURO) 7. Baguette - 53 UAH (2,21 USD/1,99 EURO) 8. Butter Mix - 36 UAH (1,50 USD/1,35 EURO) 9. This has been one of my go to restaurants in Odessa for all occasions for many years. No idea why the bad reviews other than jealousy. Love this place! Food is awesome. Staff remembers me from previous trips. Service is amazing. However if you want a fast meal, then go to Mc Donalds. Enjoy taking time to enjoy dinner for a change? This is the place.

We were there with very good friends, so that it was really a nice evening. But it would be even better if the wife of my friend were served the main course. The waiter finally said there were too many clients, so they forgot about her. I thought they'd at least compensate the error somehow. But nothing happened. The quality of the food didn't correspond to the presumed class of the restaurant.

We were tricked in this restaurant. We arrived from Athens, on the first day of our holiday we slipped the menu with inflated prices, because we are foreigners and have to pay more. We were very lucky to have a Ukrainian friend with us. He showed us another cafe where we had a great time. If you are a foreigner, I highly recommend that you do not go into this institution. Wow! This might be the best restaurant in Odessa. This place looks really nice and fancy, as it is one of the high end restaurant in the city. The service here is very professional, the waiter was very pleasant and helpful. The food was fantastic, we had some really interesting dishes such as the Foie Gras and the Steak Wellington, I would highly recommend to try those. You should know that the waiting time for some dishes might be longer than 30 minutes as it takes time to prepare the food properly. Overall, even though this place might be a bit expensive locally speaking it is highly recommend!

Very nice and quaint Cafe attached to Hotel. Good for the cheese and wine connoisseur. We went late and ordered a couple of small dishes, but I want to go again when we have a little more time and do the meal plan with a wine tasting.

In the menu burgers: 2 cutlets, 3 cutlets , but belive me you will get the thinnest cutlets , with rally no taste ! So disappointed ! With this price you can do one normal cutlet as it was yers before. Jack Daniel’s burger on the photo ((

The manager of this restaurant does not understand basic customer service. While the food at Mick's is good, the service is TERRIBLE!!! I walked in for breakfast at 8:55 and was pushed out the door into the cold because they don't open until 9:00. The waiter couldn't just let me sit there for 5 minutes. Then I ordered the Irish Breakfast and was told that I couldn't exchange the sausage for more beans. The last time I checked, sausage is far more expensive than an extra 20 grams of beans. I won't be going back.

Special place and fun, located in the best part of the town to have fun at night, they have inside tables, outside boots and also a terrace. All sorts of drinks, very good beer, good food, from burgers to sushi.

Unfortunately, the situation which happened to me made me question how ethical are the owners of the place and diminished my positive customer service experience. Meals are definitely of a high quality with wide selection on the menu to satisfy any taste. First impression was nothing but positive: colouring pages and pencils to entertain my kids, friendly and helpful staff with a good level of English and a good knowledge of the menu. However, after spending over $220 i was expected to leave 10% + tip. I am not used to this utterly US custom and was certainly not expecting to face it in Ukraine. Staff members of a prestigious and reputable place such as Steakhouse deserve to be treated fairly, getting paid decent wages (which they very much deserve) and not being left to the mercy of a customer to be able to provide the best service possible, especially when the restaurant is not cheap, even comparing to the fine dining places overseas. The waiting time was quite reasonable.

Суть в двух словах.. мы пришли в заведение около 00:00 .. людей вообще не было .. пару человек у барной стойки.. на кануне у нас с мужем была годовщина свадьбы.. он хотел заказать для меня песню( Ноггано «Девочка»,чтоб потанцевать ( танцпол был пуст).. ! Не успела заиграть песня.. администратор подбежала к диджеям(отдельное благодарю диджеев, за то что не отказали и поставили песню!!).. стала их вычитывать(типа нельзя было включать эту песню..хотя весь танцпол оживился.. все танцевали ,кто был в зале.., естественно, все положительные эмоции были испорчены ...очень не профессионально ,я считаю ,было с ее стороны!! После она ещё раза три не в лучшем духе их отчитывала..за что мне было не понятно и очень не приятно т.к. понимала, что из за нас..! Я решила подойти и спросить, в чем же такая проблема?! И не смущает ли администратора заведения, что у них пусто? И если и проиграла одна песня( не формата 80-90), но это подняло настроение всем присутствующим.. почему так реагировать? После этого к нам подошла охрана и попросила покинуть заведение!)) естественно по распоряжению администратора! Жаль, что из за такого непрофессионализма, бестактности.. испорчены ВСЕ положительные впечатления за столько лет! P.s.Прошу прощения, за такой длинный отзыв) Всем ДОБРА
