Must visit Mosque of Bursa with a Big WOW factor. It has very nice elaborated interior and Amazing Calligraphy designs. Please wear proper clothes and for ladies carry something to cover their heads for respect.
Impressive old historical mosque surrounded by businesses and recreation area. The grounds are always busy with worshippers and tourists as well. I did not see the inside but from what I gather it's also very impressive.

The Ulu Cami Mosque is an absolute must-see! If you visit Bursa, this magnificent mosque should definitely be on your list. It was commissioned by Sultan Bayezid I after his victory at the Battle of Nicopolis in 1396 and completed around 1399.
The mosque was designed by the famous architect Ali Neccar, and it stands as one of the finest examples of early Ottoman architecture. Built in the Seljuk multi-dome style, it features 20 domes supported by massive pillars, a design that symbolically reflects the Sultan’s vow to build twenty mosques, which he instead fulfilled by constructing one grand mosque with twenty domes.
As its name suggests, the “Great Mosque” is truly majestic, richly decorated with intricate calligraphy, geometric motifs, and a central fountain used for ablution. Ulu Cami marks an important transition between the Seljuk and classical Ottoman styles, blending simplicity, symmetry, and spiritual harmony.

Very busy, hassle and bustle. Some nice bargains but I noticed very few people can understand or speak English. This is not a good sign for tourism.

What makes this place so special isn't just the variety of goods—from beautiful handwoven scarves and traditional textiles to spices, jewellery, and local crafts—but also the people. The shopkeepers are genuinely warm, welcoming, and proud of their heritage. They’re always happy to share stories behind their products and offer you tea while you browse, making the experience feel personal and unforgettable.
The bazaar has a unique energy that reflects the deep history of Bursa itself. It’s not overly commercialised like many tourist spots—it’s authentic, rooted in centuries-old trade and craftsmanship.

The oldest part of bursa is my favourite part of the city. I love walking around here and taking in all the views/people/culture. If you are visiting bursa for the first time please make sure to visit this old part of the city. It has lots of history and feels old too which gives you a great feeling.
This is a beautiful market to shop. Local Turkiye sellers are helpful and keen to make you purchase. Don't forget to quibble for at least two thirds if the original price .. if you can. Wonderful ambiance and excellent place to visit on a Sunday. There are also the Ulu Camii or mosque and Bey Ertugrul musuem to explore.

🛒🛍️Zafer Plaza AVM is a modern shopping mall located in the heart of Bursa, near Ulu Camii. It has many international and local brands, a cinema, cafés, and restaurants. The glass pyramid design is very unique, and the location is perfect for walking around the city center.

Very nice place to do some shopping in Bursa, Turkey. All time available taxis, so its very easy to reach it by Taxi.
Sure its not that much big so you will not find everything there, also there is no malls around.
Great mall, too many restaurants , shops and secure , I forgot my mobile at the entrance gate , I came back after hour later , I found it easily with the security guys. Bursa in general is better than Istanbul for families.

I always visit Zafer plaza when I’m in Bursa, not the best shopping center in the city but it’s in the heart of town, you can park your car and visit all the nearby attractions like grand mosque, grand bazaar, clock towers, and also do some shopping
Can't say the best Mall I have ever visited but it was good. A great range of shops and restaurants to choose from. Brought many things from here. Also one of the best part is that it is well connected with Bursa suburbs. But the frequency of the bus is a little low.

Koza Han, also known as Cocoon Han, is a historic silk market with stunning Ottoman-era architecture and a wide range of retailers. This multilevel han was built at the end of the 15th century by architect Abdul Ula Bin Pulad Shah under the orders of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II. The han served as an inn for merchants and consists of two courtyards, barns, warehouses, and 95 rooms.
Beautiful building. Courtyard offered a serene place for a cup of tea. Bazaar style shopping to be had around the outside of building. Inside had lil shops with silk scarves and delicates. Fresh fruits and veggies galore a lil further down. Enjoyed this explorer day alot!

Visiting friends in Bursa for the Adha holiday, I was invited, among other places, to experience the special atmosphere of this charming place, the Koza Han, where people flock from various places in Turkey and around the city.
It’s a huge courtyard where cafés and other shops abound, each offering their unique coffee flavor, sweets or food.
We settled in one corner overlooking the yard, and waited patiently for what proved to be the best Turkish coffee I’ve tasted to date: Gözde kahve (favorite coffee). What makes it unique is the way it’s prepared slowly over coal, the way one would barbecue.
The server brought the trays carrying the empty cups (each of a different color), as well as water and loukoum, a local tradition, which I find endearing.
Later, when the coffee was ready, he brought each separately in a copper coffee pot, made differently to meet each of our tastes (sweet, black, half sugar).
Just sitting there and observing the crowd around gives one a sense of serenity and calm, something we needed at the end of a very busy and tiring day.
People sitting and chatting, others mulling around, the smell of coffee brewing hanging in the air, it’s all a pleasure one has to experience.
I would definitely recommend for everyone who gets the chance to enjoy 😊 this treat.
It might be a historical place. But it is occupied by cafes. And everyone smokes here. You can feel vibe of smoking heaven. If there are not many cafes here like now, it would be much beautiful and great place than now.
Beautiful place with shops specialized in different things but mostly silk. Ambient is nice. There is very small masjid in the middle from 2hich you can take more panoramic pics and videos fir the place. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because only being small but there several other Han beside it so you can walk for longer time and see other shops but most importantly enjoy the sepcial vibe there.
Koza Han is a beautiful historical place in the heart of Bursa. The atmosphere is peaceful, full of history, and surrounded by lovely shops and cafés. You can enjoy Turkish tea under the trees and feel the spirit of the old Silk Road.
A very cute inn with a tiny mosque in the middle, inside there are shops selling mostly textile products, and there are also small cafes where you can drink tea and coffee.
Pretty place, but most stores sell only stoles, nothing much to shop here.
Enjoyed hot chocolate and from one of the little cafes and it was aglow with so many shops selling silk scarfs, wraps and dresses 😍

The museum, located in the Osmangazi district of Bursa, boasts a futuristic dome with a 360-degree image depicting the historic event. Visitors can immerse themselves in the scene as they stand on the field of victory, witnessing Sultan Orhan Gazi overseeing the takeover while Byzantines leave the castle.
We visited the Bursa Museum, the panoramic painting view was outstanding. It was my 1st experience to see this painting, we all family members loved the art, atmosphere & knowledge imparted to us. Excellent job by the organisers.

Great panoramic dome. So much history. You must be there by 5 pm as they will not anyone in after that. If you are inside at 5 you can stay in till they close.
We had a tour guide with us to tell us more about the history.
Spent about 45mins -1 hour approx there. In my pictures you can see everything inside the museum.

The museum is amazing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The tickets are very cheap, you even get discounts for kids and for people over 65 it's free. Wednesdays is the entrance also free for everyone. The old times are wonderfully represented by the pictures and paintings. The antique artifacts are so cool. They have such cute items in the souvenir shop, especially the coin you can get which will be imprinted right then and there. Overall it is a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend to go there if you get the chance to visit Bursa.
It's a great museum. The panorama is so beautiful, I brought a guest with me and they thought the characters in the picture were real people. It's like you're going back to the old times when Bursa was conquered.
The museum is probably one of the smallest collection I have visited. The experience was not as I imagined it to be its a dome with hand drawn pictures of life pre-ottoman period. I enjoyed the displays downstairs of the clothing worn in the Ertugal series. I also loved the tiles display which lead us to visit Iznik to see some of the artwork still being made to date and I highly recommend.
A great place to visit. not much to see you finish you tour in less than an hour, but it gives a glimpse on the turkish/ ottoman culture and history.

Totally worth it! If not for the historical monuments then at least just for the fantastic view of old town Bursa with its beautiful old mosques and bazaars, and the gorgeous mountainside.

Good Place to visit Historical Tophane Clock Tower with a wonderful view of Bursa. It's next to Osman Gazi Tomb.
The clock tower of Bursa is probably one of the most iconic buildings of the city. This tower has symbolic values now and is a very popular spot for visitors to the city.
Definitely a nice place to chill out and hang out with friends to spend some time together. it's very quiet very picturesque place there is quality cafes and Turkish tea offered here. can't miss and highly recommended.

Here lies the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The shrine attracts many visitors and is ket in a very good condition. The guards at the entrance are dressed in the former of the days when Osman was the Sultan. They are a part of the attraction of the place. As it is a mausoleum, modest dressing is recommended.
The resting place of Osman Gazi, holy shrines of other important figures and close companions of the Ottoman regime. Located in Tophane park, which overlooks the panoramic view of Bursa city. Open to the visitors and free to enter, a calm, quiet and peaceful atmosphere near the tomb. A ceremonial reenactment used to perform there. Dressed as Ottoman soldiers and offer tribute to them in a crowd of spectators. Orhan Gazi's (Son of Osman Gazi) resting place is also next to this. Really a place to feel the old history and understand. A must visit spot in Bursa.

The tomb of the first Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Osman Gazi! When Bursa was conquered in 1326, Osman was still alive but too ill and old to take part in the campaign, so his son Orhan led the conquest. Next to Osman Gazi’s tomb, you’ll also find the tomb of his son, Orhan Gazi. What’s interesting is that the tomb of Osman Gazi is still guarded by human guards!
We wanted to pay something but the staff refused. May God bless the administration of Bursa for taking care of the place.

As the founder of the great Ottoman Empire (Osmanlı Sultanate), his final resting place carries immense historical and cultural importance. The restaurant Hacı Dayı Tophane is a great place to eat. The food is delicious, and the view of the city is amazing. The only downside is that some people don't like Turkish coffee because it is really strong.

Great traditional Turkish restaurant 👌 👍 with an extensive array of Turkish cuisine in a great location just next to the clock tower. Food is tasty and of good quality. If you visit Bursa city in Turkey 🇹🇷 this is *the* restaurant that you want to dine in!
The food was having great taste but a bit overcooked. Obviously the staffs were well trained and friendly.

Very nice restaurant for authentic Turkish food .. try the boneless chicken and Baklava with Ice cream ..
They also have valet parking for TL10, where you can put your car and then have a walk in the park around it
This restaurant has special magic in it, the location and the surrounding building lights is amazing.
The restaurant is up in hill, which make your experience more delightful and unforgettable.
The staff were okay, they dont speak english unfortunately so it was hard to pick dishes in overall experience i’d come here again.
i’d recommend this place for big family’s and friend groups.

The food is nice and fresh. Service is fast. However, it is very pricey. I paid 430TL for a mixed grill ( karisik izagar). The price for items has literally doubled in price in 7 months. Better off finding some local izgara place further away from oldtown center instead as you will get more value for money with similar taste.

The Bursa Döner is nothing special and a dissapointment to be honest. The meat is not as tasty as expected, it was a bit dry. The burger was nice, the bun itself was dry.

My daughter and I decided to take a little rest from walking around the bazaar. We decided to stop by the nearest cafe. We were greeted almost immediately, seated and our order taken in a timely fashion. I had a latte, it was good. My daughter decided to have a bite to eat and she had the chicken wrap, also good.
The young ladies serving us were attentive as we really didn’t wait much and the atmosphere calming and the weather beautiful. I would return.
Coffee was top notch. Lotus cake and other snacks sub par. Would highly recommend to get a coffee only. Don't fall for other treats.
Service was basically zero. The owner seemed aggressive and not welcoming at all. We went for breakfast, but the quality was really low — the bread was ice cold, and even the eggs were cold. In my opinion they don’t care about customer service; The place wasn’t that clean either. I’d definitely recommend avoiding this spot — there are much better places right across this place with far better hospitality. We actually went to one afterward just to forget the bad experience here.

I cannot comment about the coffee mentioned in the other reviews, as we went there only for a breakfast on a weekday.
The ambiance and atmosphere are very nice, as it is located in an old khan, but I cannot tell the same for breakfast. It was very basic, none of the products they serve is anything special. It feels like as if they are all bought from the closest supermarket. On top of that, they served cold, not-toasted bread, which a big minus for me for breakfast. And not to forget: The price for one person is probably the highest I paid for breakfast in Bursa.
It might be a decent option to stop by for a coffee if you are discovering Bursa old town, but I do not recommend it for breakfast at all.

This kebab shop Kebapçı İskender is a popular attraction near the city center in Bursa, Turkey. The ground meat skewers are delicious and the atmosphere is old-fashioned and traditional. It can be difficult to get a seat, but it's worth it.
I ate Iskander kebab for the first time, and for me (that my country has many kinds of delicious kebabs), the taste stayed with me forever.
The respectful treatment of the staff, good service and nostalgic atmosphere along with the fair price was a complete package.

Tarihi Mavi Dükkan İskender 1867 is a must-visit for lovers of traditional Turkish kebab. The food is incredibly tasty and full of authentic flavor. This place has been around for a long time, and it shows in the quality and care they put into every dish.
You might have to wait a little, but it’s definitely worth it. The İskender is especially amazing. Highly recommended for a true taste of Turkish cuisine!

We wanted to try İskender kebap here, but there was a long queue, so we left at first. Later, while walking by, we saw an available table and went in.

Historical Land Mark of Bursa. This is the place invented Döner (gyros) and İskender kebab because the chefs name was İskender his son Cevat continued the tradition. Its delicious!
Best Iskander kebab i've eaten. It was really delicious. Place is small, but cozy. Is normally full, so you need to wait outside. The staff is very friendly. Definitely a MUST place to try while in Bursa.
The food was very fresh and delicious, authentically cooked over coals and served in a perfectly balanced plate of meat, bread and yogurt.
The wait was shortened by the fact that they very efficiently take your order beforehand and therefore once seated, you receive the food in a matter of minutes.

This is one of the oldest trees in the world, which is well over 600 years old. The tree protected by the government and it is kept is a very good condition. Unfortunately, in the area where the city is, there are numerous tables for a restaurant nearby, the presence of which undermines the principles of keeping the tree safe. Overall, you would enjoy admiring the natural masterpiece.
The view of the tree is nice, we went in autmun so it wasn't really that full of leaves. There's a very steep walk upwards to it though which was very hard for us and by the time we got there we were out of breath🤣

Reşat Oyal Culture Park: During my Eid break, I went to this park.
The total area of Reşat Oyal Culture Park is 393,000 square meters. Bursa's Reşat Oyal Culture Park first opened its doors in 1955. I love this park because, as spring arrives, so many new leaves and flowers sprout around it. This park has an abundance of flowers along every path that can make your life's stress disappear. There are lots of tulip blooms in the park, including red, yellow, and pink ones. That was incredibly fascinating!!
The park includes tea gardens, restaurants, the Bursa Archaeology Museum, the Conservatory Building, the Open Air Theatre, and an amusement park.
The name of the amusement park is Luna Park or Altin Park. Because of the Eid season, it was packed with kids and their families.
This theme park offers an enormous selection of rides. These include the Atli Carinca, Ferris Wheel, Crushing cars, Adrenalin Max, Gandola, Mini Train, Octopus Ride, Crazy Dancing, and many more

What a beautiful park. I wish every city had a vast green open space in the heart of downtown just like this one. People and children in the city deserve to have access to green spaces that are peaceful and reflect nature.
I have never seen a park like here! There are so many play ground here. Well maintained and very greenery. Perfect place for family picnic. My family spent great time in this park.

Very quiet, peaceful, and cool in the morning hours. So much shade and benches to sit on. Many different playgrounds for the kids to choose from. Many different eating places.

Had lots of fun with the kids, just 1 important thing to remind is when needing to go on thr rides you will need to have a pay per rides card which is easy to purchase from within the grounds of the culture park rides area.
So good. Walking here is a joy. It is clean, beautiful and there are many choices for food and entertainment. I liked the mini boat ride, cheap and nice for the kids.

Uludağ Teleferik is the world's longest aerial tram, spanning 5.5 miles from the city to a nearby ski resort and park. Whether visiting in winter or summer, Uludağ offers a range of experiences. In winter, it's a snowy wonderland perfect for skiing, while in summer, the cool weather provides relief from the heat.

It was an okay ride. The price was high compared to the ride. There was a bit of a wait to get the tickets and there was a part of the lift that was not working so we only were able to ride half of it. If you have money to spare do it or else, it’s okay to miss it. One of the employees spoke arabic so that was very helpful.
The view is absolutely stunning and worth seeing at least once. However, the cable car is quite expensive—especially for non-Turkish visitors, and it's unclear why there's a price difference. What's more frustrating is that they still charge the full fare even when the second station is closed, meaning you can't reach the summit. While it's officially "due to maintenance," it's clear that this closure is seasonal, as the upper section is simply not open in summer. Overall, it felt overpriced for a partial experience. I’m glad I saw it once, but I wouldn’t go again.
While the views from the Uludağ cable car are undeniably breathtaking, the overall experience left much to be desired. As a foreigner, I was charged 950 TL (around €22), which feels unfairly steep—especially considering that half the line was apparently "under maintenance" (we were told we couldn’t reach the summit, a common excuse it seems during the low season).
There was no prior warning about the limited access, and no reduced fare to reflect the shorter ride. Beyond the scenic ride itself, the rest of the experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. For the price paid, I expected more than just a one-way view and vague explanations.
The natural beauty is there, but everything else—from pricing to transparency—needs serious improvement.

The views were great. But the prices were outrageous. My Turkish fiancé was 90 tl to ride the cable car whereas, they charged me 300 tl because of my USA passport. It’s not fair. We spent 110 tl on just 2 coffees. Make sure to bring your own food because everything is overpriced. Other than that, the mountain is a great place to escape the heat and stress of the city. Many playgrounds for children.
One of the amazing experiences I had in Turkey. The cable way has 2 stops. The first one (Satialan) is at 1635 m altitude. Once out, you will fund many activities and things to do for the whole family. You can have nature walks in the amazing fir forest, play at the adventure park, rent a bike or ATV, have a picnic in nature and many other things. You can easily spend the day there especially for families. The second stop (kurbagakaya) is at 1810 m altitude. It has ski resorts and chalets. The ride in the cable way itself is amazing since you go up Uludag mountain, then ride almost horizontally, then ride to to the top very close to the trees where you can enjoy the fir trees. It is a must when in Bursa.

I always try to find some time to go to Selcuk restaurant whenever I visit Bursa. The food is delicious and made from good quality ingredients. I love lamb tendorloin (küşleme), tandoori, avcı böreği, cabbage dolmaki, tapas, creme caramel...

It was a rainy day. I went there with my family, when I was going to leave my car suddenly broken...! The owner of the restaurant helped me so much... He was trying to fix it with his staff despite the heavy rain. When he failed, he called the emergency maintenance service & talk to them in Turkish. We were waiting for the emergency service to come maybe for one hour. During this period We stayed in the restaurant under his hospitality. He ordered again drinks and desserts & fruits for my kids & after we are done he refused to take any money for the things we have ordered... I tyred too much to pay but he's insisted not to take the money....! What a great & generous man. I will definitely go again for this place. I owe them so much.

I would recommend this restaurant I drive all the way for having lunch here not for the first time! The food is great in term of taste and variety, the prices are high but deserved. There are some items sold in the entrance I purchased raspberries jam and some gifts for coming back home, the jam taste so good and fresh.

We had the absolute pleasure of trying the full set menu breakfast at Zennup’s Bursa branch, and it did not disappoint! I was genuinely surprised (again!) by the sheer variety and how incredibly delicious every single dish was, from the cheeses and olives to the freshly baked breads and jams.
One dish that really stood out was their soft veal stir fry. I’ll admit, I was hesitant to try it I’m not the biggest meat lover to begin with, and I’ve often found the taste of meat in Turkey to be a bit on the heavier side. But this dish? Wow! what a pleasant surprise! It was tender, delicately seasoned, melts in your mouth and incredibly flavorful without being overwhelming.
The staff were also super sweet and attentive. We’re big tea lovers, and this place was basically tea heaven, the moment you finish your glass, someone is there with a fresh refill. Never-ending tea? Yes, please!
The ambiance was just as lovely, fresh, light, airy, and so inviting. The kind of place you want to linger in.
I would definitely go back again if we’re ever in Bursa. Zennup truly knows how to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.
