The Green Tomb, also known as Yesil Turbe, is a magnificent mausoleum located in Bursa, Turkey. Built in 1421 for Sultan Mehmed, it features an ornate octagonal shape made of marble and green tiles. Adjacent to the impressive Green Mosque, this site showcases intricate Ottoman architecture and vibrant tilework. Commissioned by Sultan Mehmet Celebi in 1419, the tomb captures the transition from Persian to Ottoman architectural styles.
Both the cami and the türbesi are beautiful art work , calligraphy and glass work. One of the many beautiful mosques in Bursa.
Fozia R — Google review
This tomb belongs to Mehmet Çelebi Sultan, one of the sultans of the Ottoman empire. There are a few other tombs that belong to the sons and daughters of the sultan. The architecture of this tomb complex reflects Ottoman style. As it is a holy place, dressing modestly is recommended.
Reza N — Google review
The Green Tomb is renowned for its extraordinary and stunning decoration, both inside and out. Its walls are adorned with beautifully crafted tiles that showcase intricate designs and vibrant colors, enhancing its visual appeal. The tomb is the final resting place of Mehmed I, the fifth Ottoman Sultan. It was built by his son and successor, Mehmed II, who decided to lavish more decoration on it than most other structures of the time. Ideally located nearby, both the Green Mosque and the Green Tomb are easily accessible, making them perfect to visit together. Their close proximity offers visitors a seamless opportunity to explore two of Bursa’s most treasured Ottoman landmarks.
Ram S — Google review
💚The Green Tomb (Yeşil Türbe) is one of Bursa’s most iconic landmarks and the resting place of Sultan Mehmed I, who reunited the Ottoman Empire after a civil war. The turquoise and emerald tiles covering the exterior are breathtaking and symbolize peace and heaven. Inside, the fine calligraphy and geometric patterns reflect early Ottoman art and Persian influence. The area is quiet, clean, and beautifully maintained. It’s located just next to the Green Mosque, making both easy to visit together.
Nafise S — Google review
The Green Tomb (Yeşil Türbe) in Bursa is a stunning piece of early Ottoman architecture and a true symbol of peace and elegance. Built in 1421 for Sultan Mehmed I, the mausoleum is beautifully decorated with turquoise-green tiles that give it a serene and spiritual aura. The interior is equally breathtaking, with intricate Iznik tilework, calligraphy, and a peaceful atmosphere that invites reflection. It’s part of the Green Complex, located right next to the Green Mosque, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in history, culture, or art. Though the tomb is not very large, its beauty and historical significance make it unforgettable. Highly recommend visiting with a guide to fully appreciate its story and craftsmanship.
Maher B — Google review
Very well maintained this "Yeşil Camii " of 15th century, which has very nice colorful interiors. Please wear proper clothes and for ladies, Please carry something to cover your head to show your respect to enter inside the mosque and tomb.

Nestled within the picturesque Soganli Botanical Park in Bursa, Turkey, Bursa Zoo is a delightful destination for families and wildlife lovers alike. This charming zoo showcases an impressive array of global species, including majestic giraffes, powerful lions, playful zebras, and even grizzly bears. Designed with animal welfare in mind, the zoo offers spacious habitats that mimic natural environments while providing visitors with an engaging experience. Bursa Zoo goes beyond just observing animals; it serves as a hub for education and conservation.
This is the biggest zoo I ever visited. It just keeps going. Very unique experience and a MUST if you went to Bursa. You will see too many animals, you could see some animals for the first time. There were many school kids everywhere, I didn't get annoyed, but some people may not prefer that. There were trees, but there weren't many shades, so make sure to visit on cloudy or cool days, not a sunny day.
Mohammed A — Google review
A lush green Zoo with many animals and species protected in a beautiful manner. In Bursa, one of the main attractions with your family and kids. An affordable entry fee of 40L with large parking outside and many refreshments inside. The highlight is this maintained greenish botanical garden and pavements lead you to walk to explore this open zoo without any tiresome. Spent 3-4 hours watching the animals and their lives in fantastic weather. A must go place in Bursa.
Hashim S — Google review
Bursa Zoo was fine but not very impressive. Some animals looked a bit sad, and a few spots had an unpleasant smell. There were some cute animals to see, though. Overall, it could be better. The ticket price (50 lira) was fair.🦒🦚🐆🦁🦏🦙

Its a great zoo. We drove from İstanbul and the animal variety is amazing. Its very cheap as well. We paid 24 TL each to enter. My fav animal was the giraffe. Definetly recommended.
İlke Ç — Google review
We went to a bunch of zoos in Turkey, and this is the best one; it has multiple type of animals and an open area, so you can see them really well. I loved it.
Ali A — Google review
Its good. But not too much animals.
Nyonya P — Google review
the animals are cute and there's a great variety of them. my only problem were the shops inside. the ice cream man was incredibly rude and the ice cream was overpriced and didn't taste good. I would go again but I'd recommend bringing your own snacks
Luna — Google review
Pretty average zoo, great for what it is. I do recommend if you are in the area with kids and have nothing to do. I don’t think it’s the best zoo that you can go to as an adult but your kids will enjoy. I do appreciate the benches and shops. Although some sections were closed so we didn’t get to see all the animals unfortunately

Nestled in the heart of Bursa, Reşat Oyal Culture Park is a delightful escape for both locals and visitors alike. Established in 1955, this expansive park spans an impressive 393 thousand square meters and serves as the city's first major green space. With its serene boating pond surrounded by charming tea gardens, restaurants, and bars, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. Families can enjoy various attractions including playgrounds and carnival rides while taking leisurely boat rides on the tranquil lake.
Reşat Oyal Culture Park: During my Eid break, I went to this park. The total area of Reşat Oyal Culture Park is 393,000 square meters. Bursa's Reşat Oyal Culture Park first opened its doors in 1955. I love this park because, as spring arrives, so many new leaves and flowers sprout around it. This park has an abundance of flowers along every path that can make your life's stress disappear. There are lots of tulip blooms in the park, including red, yellow, and pink ones. That was incredibly fascinating!! The park includes tea gardens, restaurants, the Bursa Archaeology Museum, the Conservatory Building, the Open Air Theatre, and an amusement park. The name of the amusement park is Luna Park or Altin Park. Because of the Eid season, it was packed with kids and their families. This theme park offers an enormous selection of rides. These include the Atli Carinca, Ferris Wheel, Crushing cars, Adrenalin Max, Gandola, Mini Train, Octopus Ride, Crazy Dancing, and many more

What a beautiful park. I wish every city had a vast green open space in the heart of downtown just like this one. People and children in the city deserve to have access to green spaces that are peaceful and reflect nature.

Sukay Park is a prominent attraction in Bursa, Turkey. Spanning 40 hectares, it is the city's largest and most significant park, established in 1955. The park hosts the lively Bursa Festival and features stunning flora, verdant landscapes, and inviting seating areas for visitors to relax and admire the serene surroundings. Additionally, Sukay Park offers wakeboarding opportunities at budget-friendly prices compared to other options.

The ski is not for every one, Must be 14y and older, the kids water park very small and functions for 20 minutes every hour, there is free walking area and playground for kids, cafe and masjed. It’s a great wakeboarding spot. It’s cheaper than alternatives, it’s more handy for beginners since you could just wake back to the beginning because it’s round around. Prices are low since it’s a public organization. The restaurant’s staff are friendly. The park’s staff as well. The changing rooms and showers are clean ish. Overall I’ll pick this spot over others.
Edy C — Google review
It was a super fun experience to try Wake boarding though it can be really hard to learn how to jump or be pulled in the water without failing over. I want to go again! Besides that our lift operators after their shift happened to be professional wake boarders and so we were able to see how amazing first hand people can do the tricks! Wow! Thanks!

One of the must-see attractions in Bursa. From the top, you get a beautiful view of the city, and it’s also the resting place of the founders of the Ottoman Empire. If you’re here around 5:00 PM, don’t miss the guard-changing ceremony — it’s a memorable bonus to the visit.

Tophane Park is located in Bursa's Osmangazi neighborhood. This is one of Bursa's busiest areas. There are so many historical sites surrounding this park. The Tophane Park is surrounded by lovely flower gardens and trees. This is really energizing. The sight of tulip blooms in the center of the park astounded me. Additionally, the entire Tophane Square is visible from the park's summit. The Tophane Clock tower and Osman Gazi's tomb are located in this park. Osman Gazi's tomb : The founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman Gazi, was buried at this tomb. There are also a number of graves. The following people are buried there as well: Nilüfer Hatun, the wife of Osman Gazi; his son Şehzade Kasım Çelebi, his daughter Fatma Sultan, Murad's son Savcı Bey and Asburçe Hatun, Yıldırım Bayezid's sons Musa Çelebi, Şehzade Korkut, and Cem Sultan's son Şehzade Abdullah. Tophane Clock Tower: Bursa's Tophane Clock Tower was built by Ottoman Sultan II. It is an important monumental work reflecting the architecture of the Ottoman period. The historical clock tower is said to have been constructed to commemorate Abdulhamid's throne ascension on its 29th anniversary. This significant massive structure embodies the Ottoman era's architectural style. It has six floors and a height of 33 metres. Stunning viewpoint overlooking Bursa from beside the tower. From August 2, 1904, to August 31, 1905, was when the clock tower's construction was finished.

Tophane Clock Tower is a striking 15-meter-tall neoclassical structure that was reconstructed in 1905. Originally built as a fire tower, it has become a popular attraction for both local and Arab tourists, partly due to the city's natural beauty and its prominence in Turkish movies and TV series. The area around the clock tower is rich in historical sites, including the tombs of Osman Ghazi and Orhan Ghazi, the founding fathers of the Ottoman Empire.
Totally worth it! If not for the historical monuments then at least just for the fantastic view of old town Bursa with its beautiful old mosques and bazaars, and the gorgeous mountainside.

Good place to have an idea about the past. Entrance is free of charge and parking is available. Museum is located in a nice park to have a walk after museum.

Small museum yet having a rich collection of Roman era artefacts found in the area. There are several rooms - sarcofagus area (each of the marble plate has QR code next to it where the markings are translated), busts and statues area, pottery and amphoras area, coins area. There are also some relics outside of the building. The museum is free and located in a very beautiful parc where you can have a stroll before or after visiting it.

Very nice park with variety of activities, suitable for adults and kids, nice lake view with some F&B outlets. We enjoyed the boats (prices are high) they have variety of options for individual or group. Very nice views and well maintained park, there are other activities such as zip line, climbing and others. My trip was in summer season day time was sunny and hot but before sunset time we enjoyed the park. I couldn’t find washrooms and prayer rooms in the park, need better direction with other languages to assist tourists.

Amusement park
Bursa Lunapark Altınpark is a popular amusement park located in the green city of Bursa, Turkey. The park is part of a city known for its abundance of public gardens and parks, offering visitors the chance to enjoy nature and wildlife at places like Bursa Cultural Park, Sukay Park, Bodrum Park, Zoo Garden, and Old Historic Tree in Hekal Square.
The name of the amusement park is Luna Park or Altin Park. Because of the Eid season, it was packed with kids and their families. This theme park offers an enormous selection of rides. These include the Atli Carinca, Ferris Wheel, Crushing cars, Adrenalin Max, Gandola, Mini Train, Octopus Ride, Crazy Dancing, and many more.
Syeda Y — Google review
Each ride costs around 80tl-100tl per person. You need to purchase card with 10tl and minimum upload for card is 500tl. I went during Eiduladha. It's been long time since I have fun like this. Recommended place to spend time with family.
Mae M — Google review
Cheap rides, mostly cost 15/20 TL(approx. 1€). There are free parking spaces about 3 minutes of walking, but if you’re not fond of a little walking then I here’s also a parking area few meters outside the park. Doesn’t cost much. There’s also a playground nearby. Great for kids!
Michelle S — Google review
The facility was ok, we could tell that it’s a bit aged. But coming back to amusement park since childhood time still a good memory, good for both adult and teenager. The park around the amusement park also a good place to chill.

SADAĞI CANYON NATURE PARK Sadağı Canyon was registered as a "Nature Park" in 2014 and its total area is 436 ha. Sadağı Canyon Nature Park is among the few canyons in Turkey with its geographical location, geological structure, biological and archaeological resource values. The hot water source in the center of the canyon, which was used as a hunting ground by the founder of the city, Emperor Hadrianus, between 117-138 AD, was used by the emperor to build a rock bath in the canyon. The rock bath is located approximately 3 km above the entrance of the canyon and the ruins of this historical bath can still be seen today. There is a waterfall that falls from a height of 3-4 meters approximately 300 meters after the rock bath. The walking track in the canyon is surrounded by rocks, some of which are 100 meters high, and rich vegetation. The canyon, which was on important passageways during the coma period, maintained its importance during the Ottoman Empire. The healing thermal waters in the region have been an important treatment tool for the people of the region throughout history. Located within the Uludağ mountain range, Sadağı Canyon Nature Park is one of the important areas of the region with its different habitat types such as riparian, rocky, maquis, mixed forest and rich plant diversity. In the biodiversity inventory and research sub-project carried out within the scope of the "Sadağı Canyon Nature Park Meets Ecotourists Project" carried out by our Bursa Branch Directorate in 2015-2016 and supported by BEBKA, it was determined that 151 plant taxa belonging to 64 families were distributed in Sadağı Canyon Nature Park. Five of these plant taxa are endemic. Both of the fish species (Barbus niluferensis - Simav mustache and Squalius cii - Marmara freshwater mullet) distributed in the stream in the canyon are regional endemic. In addition, Barbus niluferensis is in the NT (Near Threatened) category according to the Red List of Threatened Species of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN). The region is ichthyologically important due to the co-existence of two endemic species in the canyon. 18 amphibian and reptile species; a total of 51 bird species belonging to 23 families from 7 orders; and a total of 45 mammal species belonging to 15 families from 6 orders (Insectivora, Chiroptera, Rodentia, Carnivora, Lagomorpha, Artiodactyla) have been identified in the region. Among the bird species identified in the area, Aquila chrysaetos (Golden Eagle) and among the mammal species, Lutra lutra (Otter) are important flag species.

We couldn't understand why the area where we used to take a breather, relax, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of being in nature with a cold drink was closed. (The area was used for the Recep İvedik filming and later operated.) This idle state was unbecoming of such beauty.

You can go there to have a quiet, peaceful, beautiful day. (Original) El değmemiş doğal güzellik... Giriş ücretsizdi, kimse beklemiyor zaten girişte. İçerisi çok güzel. (Translated by Google) Far from the city, everywhere in the city is green, the sound of the stream and the sound of the birds give peace, of course on weekdays 😊 there is a masjid and a toilet. There is a children's playground and a buffet. There is a descent to the stream. I loved a stream flowing as clear as ice. We come here as a family almost every day to exercise. The equipment is nice and useful. The air is a joy to our lungs. However, there are two small problems. Motorcycles can rarely enter the park, and this is forbidden. There might be people smoking too. I saw them once, though😉. I saw a woman smoking yesterday. We felt uncomfortable. The problem is not with the park, but with some people. (Original) Merhabalar.Buraya ailece neredeyse her gün spor yapmaya geliyoruz.

(Translated by Google) It is truly a beautiful park, with fascinating nature. There are also barbecue areas, children's playgrounds, a cafe and paid electric playgrounds. It is a large park and there is a flowing river fed by rainwater. Mountains around and lush green plants everywhere, praise be! There are also several water taps for drinking or washing hands. Unlike some parks, you are allowed to sit wherever you want😍😍 This place is located in Yıldırım district, in a lively location, close to the residential area.

Karagöz Festival Area, organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Orhaneli Municipality and Culture Tourism Promotion Union, is a beautiful and meaningful festival celebrating the 101st anniversary of Orhane's liberation. The area features a large facility with tall pine trees, offering activities such as rafting, bungalow or tent accommodation, caravan camping areas, restaurants, children's playgrounds and parking. During festival times, there are food stands and mobile sales of various items.

We couldn't find a place for our caravan due to intense interest, but the employees were very helpful and helpful, we stayed for 2 nights. (Translated by Google) It's a very neglected place. It is currently under bee invasion. As soon as you set up your picnic table, dozens of bees come to your table and having a picnic turns into complete torture. His dogs are never missing. It cannot be said that he has a clean face. There is a lot of garbage everywhere, especially broken glass.

(Translated by Google) Orhaneli Municipality has built a beautiful facility of enormous size. In the area where huge pine trees of 25-30 meters are located, rafting, accommodation in bungalow houses or tent and caravan camping areas, restaurants, children's playgrounds, parking, mobile sales of food, beverages, clothes and trinkets during festival times, concerts from celebrities and many more that I cannot list. There are possibilities. Coming from Bursa, it is right at the entrance of Orhaneli district.
