La Casa Dolce Bakery & Cafe, located at the corner of Cawthra and Queensway in Mississauga, is renowned for its custom cakes that set it apart from other bakeries. In addition to a delightful selection of freshly made desserts, cookies, and cannolis, the bakery offers a European-inspired array of pastries and sandwiches. The friendly staff and inviting ambiance make it a great spot to savor their fantastic croissants and excellent coffee.
Nice spot to grab some dessert or a coffee. I prefer to go earlier in the morning, but with the turnover they have, everything is still fresh. The pistachio cookie is dangerously addictive.

My partner and I came here for the first time today! We really loved the customer service here. Natasha was super kind and uplifting and definitely made our visit more enjoyable! The atmosphere was cute, with an awesome selection of pastries and savoury foods. Will definitely come back next time I’m in the area. :)

This is hands-down my favourite bakery 🧁—and I can’t believe I haven’t left a review until now! This place is everything. If you live in Mississauga or are driving along the QEW towards Toronto, do yourself a favour and make a stop here. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the aroma of freshly baked goodness and an overwhelming selection of treats. They offer it all—espresso-based coffees, teas, Italian-style pizzas and sandwiches, pastries, cakes, and desserts that are truly out of this world. Trust me, you’ll spend at least 30 minutes trying to decide what to get, and you’ll probably walk out with half the store because everything is that good. I once ordered a custom birthday cake from them and they absolutely nailed it—beautifully made and tasted even better. And don’t even get me started on their lemon meringue cheesecake… I’ve never found anything that compares. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or looking to impress guests with a stunning cake, this bakery never disappoints. They have a great place to sit indoors and outdoor umbrella covered patio that overlooks corner of Carwthra and Queensway. Plenty of plaza parking and wheelchair parking and accessible entrance and indoors.
Venao S — Google review
An amazing cafe with a sitting area inside and outside. They have fresh donuts, cookies and croissants to buy, and amazing cakes. The bundt cake was so good. Coffee is also amazing. Had the cafe latte and is recommended. Prices are very reasonable. Staff are super friendly.

Regretting deciding to try this delicious bakery. Don’t come here if you have no self control. We also tried the almond croissant and apple cream pastry. Not too sweet, texture is perfect & flavours are on point!

First visit to get Best Pumpkin Pie 🥧 to bring to our belated Thanksgiving dinner. Lots of other fruit flavored pies and tasty looking temptations. There are accessible parking spots and lots of parking but had to park behind as it is a very busy plaza.

My favorite place to stop in the middle of the afternoon when I'm in the area for an espresso and a pastry. Today was a custard filled lobster tail . Hits the spot perfect in the middle of the afternoon!

Lazar Famous Deli & Bakery is a cherished gem in Mississauga, boasting over two decades of experience in crafting exquisite Portuguese and Italian breads and pastries. This delightful shop not only offers an array of freshly baked goods but also features a cozy café area where you can enjoy your treats alongside fine grocery products. Among their standout offerings are the renowned Pastel de Nata, or Portuguese custard tarts, which have garnered rave reviews for their exceptional taste.
I used to frequent Lazar when I was in high school, before they expanded. Their quality has never faltered and have always been top notch. The hot-food area always hits and they can make you sandwiches, to your liking, with fresh buns and other ingredients. Their bakery is unmatched and has some of the best authentic pastries you could ask for. Very reasonable prices and I will definitely be back!

First time trying this bakery! I had their cappuccino, chocolate croissant, and pistachio tart, all delicious. The croissant was flaky and buttery, the tart was rich but not too sweet, and the cappuccino paired perfectly with everything. Cozy spot and friendly service too. Definitely coming back! ☕🥐💚

Just went there to pick up a cake for my birthday. When you walk in, it’s amazing. The atmosphere and decor is impeccable, and the smells are amazing from both the bakery and the deli. Services is top notch. Chose the Tiramisu Cake. Was a great size for a good price, very filling too. The taste and presentation was amazing. It was strong but not too strong in terms of the coffee taste, and the cream went well together. And the hints of coco powder, strawberry, and chocolate are amazing. And the lady fingers on the side were great, sweet and crunchy. Possibly the best Tiramisu you can get outside, you can really taste the freshness! And I love the fact that they have many options adjust to dietary restrictions as they don’t use alcohol, gelatin, and animal meat products! Can’t wait to come back next year for my birthday.

We ordered a takeout for hazelnut latte , macrons and tarts and latte was horrible. I called the store to report it - there was definitely no hazelnut syrup in it - it completely disappointed me as I was looking forward for a good evening coffee and on top, the guy is asking for receipts which they didn’t give when we purchased. I get it , I am not asking for refund but posting the picture here with their own stickers so the purchase is verified. There is a definitely a room for better customer service.
Ash K — Google review
We went in the morning to this place and it was packed with people. It had very great options of fresh baked goods from croissant to cookies to donuts... We had the chocolate cookie. The pistachio fill croissant or donut and the the nata the Portuguese which is the Portuguese custard tart.. they all tasted really good and was freshly baked and not too sweet... Also had the savory dishes such as the herbed potatoes and fried cauliflower which was also really tasty... They have a great selection of Olives and bakery items and cakes as well which seem tempting and we would soon visit this place... The service was a little off and the server was not properly mannered, could get some training on how to speak to customers...
SHAURYA R — Google review
There’s a lot of people. But everything is well maintained. They refill everything right away when it runs out. I love their cakes especially their cheesecakes. I ordered before for my boyfriend’s birthday and we love it 🙂

Amazing homemade fruit water, and great coffee! Highly recommend the Brazilian beans. Great sweets also if you're in the mood for that. Definitely enjoy the coffee outside if possible! Great patio
Tiago C — Google review
Having coffee and treats on the patio on a summers day is maybe the best addition to a weekend - some of the flaky pastries have an odd texture to them but the natas are always gone within minutes when I bring them home

Bakery
La Novita Bakery is a beloved Portuguese bakery that has been a staple in Mississauga for nearly 50 years. It offers an array of European and Canadian pastries, including the popular Pastel de Nata and butter tarts. The bakery also features an espresso bar serving various coffee options and lunch choices such as sandwiches and salads. Tucked away in the heart of Mississauga, La Novita is known for its delightful selection of pastries, breads, and other baked goods.
I've been having breakfasts & lunches here for years & keep going back b/c 1. the quality 2. the prices 3. the selection 4. the service & 5. the facilities. What a great idea to have tables in a bakery where customers can sit & enjoy what they've purchased! My only criticism is the bread slicing machine is too noisy. If I'm having a conversation with someone, we have to stop & wait for the machine to finish, or we can't hear each other. Otherwise, a great business in Cooksville where I take my friends regularly. I've attached a photo of today's lunch: a breakfast sandwich (made fresh every time), a medium cappuccino & a caramel crunch: $12.20 before taxes.

I happened to be at the same mall for another store and noticed a bakery with lots of people going in, so I decided to try it. From the outside it looked like a small shop, but inside it’s actually quite spacious. They even slice ham and other deli items in front of you, almost like a supermarket counter. There’s a wide selection—cakes, bread, donuts, cupcakes, even chicken along with different kinds of bread. The cream is the firmer type you find in many bakeries.
Cindy — Google review
Fantastic little bakery/deli. I have had lunch here a couple of times and I am never disappointed. I typically order the cold cut sandwich on Italian bun. There are a lot of choices of meats, I won’t list them all, but I had an interesting garlic bologna that I’ve never had before made for a really good sandwich. Overall, the place is a little dated, but the people are friendly and the food is good 1000 times better than Subway in my opinion.
Andrew C — Google review
Wow! The sandwiches are epic! Do not pass this place up. There’s a little area to sit and enjoy, great service, a full deli counter and a great bakery!

We were happy getting a Truffle Cake here at the John street Mississauga location. Taste? Great -The dark chocolate, fresh cream, nuts, moist and not too sweet. We indulged ourselves with a few milk tarts. Will we go there again? Sure 👍

I had ordered a baptism cake on my daughter’s baptism celebration. And I noticed that they had made a spelling error. It had to be his sight and not mis sight. I asked them to correct it but they said that the bakery team is not available. I had also asked them to give me extra boxes as I will need them and the girl at the cashier denied it. I clearly remember that the person who had written the message on the paper had written it correctly. So it is very clear that it is the bakery team mistake. To be precise the person who had printed the message. The cashier who is a female wearing a white t shirt needs to improve her customer service skills. Guys you cannot ruin someone’s special day by such silly mistake. Come on!!! You need to hire someone who has basic English skills !
Francisca G — Google review
This is a little thank you note to the lovely ladies at La Novita who made this gender reveal cake happen on really short notice (order was placed the day before). While all other bakeries turned down our request, these ladies took it on and did they deliver! As seen in the pictures, they absolutely nailed the brief. There was as much blue frosting as the cake inside which not only served the purpose but tasted amazing! Highly recommend their services!
Minna M — Google review
Went in today to try some pastries and cheesecake. Nothing was fresh. Cheese was hard and rubbery, the cannoli was all sugar and had a na aftertaste, the chocolate horn was soggy as it was not fresh. Very disappointed. Never going back again. Only thing fresh was the croissant. Even the staff was rude. We asked to warm the croissant, but she literally burnt it.

Truscott Italian Bakery & Delicatessen is a charming family-owned gem nestled in Mississauga, where the essence of Italy comes alive. As you step inside, you're greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked breads and pastries that beckon you to explore. The bakery boasts an impressive selection of delectable treats, from mouthwatering cannoli and eclairs to crunchy biscotti, all crafted with authentic Italian flair.
I’ve tried many bakeries around Mississauga and Toronto and so far this is probably one of my top favourites. I live in Etobicoke but whenever we’re craving a sweet treat that hits the spot, we drive here because they never disappoint. Their pastries are fresh and delicious, and most of them feel light and not too heavy where you feel sick. Our favourites are chocolate eclair, hazelnut cream puff, Portuguese tart and double chocolate mousse. Definitely recommend this spot to everyone!
Kausar F — Google review
I am thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. The food surpasses that of many Italian establishments I've visited, showcasing a remarkable authenticity and flair. I highly recommend indulging in the sumptuous cannelloni, which is bursting with rich flavors, and don't miss the delightful pistachio cannoli for dessert—it's a true masterpiece. Each dessert, including the pastries and tiramisu, strikes the perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming, making for an exquisite end to the meal. Additionally, I savored the large, succulent meatballs and tender cabbage rolls, both of which were cooked to perfection and simply delicious. Every bite was a joyous experience!
Vivy H — Google review
I definitely got the “family owned” kind of hospitality/service. It’s like an Italian grocer with lots and lots of baked goods including bread, donuts/fritters, cakes, pastries and etc. I feel like it’s more quantity than quality because there is an abundance of options but it seems unrealistic that EVERY dessert item type is made fresh daily. I tried a cannoli and a Portuguese custard tart and both were not terrible but the texture was a little stale or like it had been frozen before. I also missed the burnt sugar crust on the Portuguese tart. Although the total cost averaged $5 for both and only $4 for a medium latte is not expensive for these items, so they are considered good price.
T W — Google review
Truscott Bakery is a hidden gem in Mississauga, especially if you’re into Italian specialties. I stopped by to pick up a few ingredients for a homemade carbonara — they had guanciale, Pecorino Romano, and Grana Padano, all top quality and hard to find in regular grocery stores. While I was there, I couldn’t resist ordering one of their freshly baked breads (made in-house) and some traditional sweets to take home. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I also enjoyed a perfect cappuccino right there — smooth, rich, and made just right. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about quality and service. The atmosphere is part of the charm - cozy and welcoming, with classic Vespas on display that give the place a distinctly authentic Italian vibe. It's like stepping into a little slice of Europe. Whether you’re shopping for authentic ingredients, grabbing a coffee, or just want a taste of Europe, Truscott Bakery is absolutely worth the visit!
Jaime L — Google review
Delicious cannoli (I like the original more than the pistachio, but both were good). And the tiramisu was great, and not too sweet!! The cappuccino was good too (although I would recommend against asking for cinnamon—mocha would be better).
Arya C — Google review
Finally made it to this bakery! Saturday afternoon - pretty chilled out. Got some delicious goodies and bread. The tiramisu, pistachio-filled croissant, beef roll, maritozzi, cannolis. It’s a bit more sweet for my liking but tasty. Everything is fresh, service is fast. They have a variety of hot food too.

French Corner Patisserie is a bustling bakery in Mississauga that specializes in creating artisan breads and French pastries using traditional Parisian techniques with Canadian ingredients. The bakery offers a variety of sweet and savory options, including classic French pastries like croissants and macarons. In addition to their freshly baked goods, the patisserie also serves good coffee and a wide selection of treats such as cookies, cakes, and sandwiches.
I ordered two cakes for father’s day, the pistachio one and a tiramisu. They were both outstanding. The flavours were rich and balanced, the textures light and creamy, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. We got the 6 inch size which was enough for my family of 7. The staff were friendly and helpful, even with the Father’s Day rush. It was busy, but the line moved quickly and the service was smooth. I also saw they had croissants and bread, which I didn’t get to try this time, definitely will on my next visit though, Highly recommend!

A mixed experience — some hits and some misses. I tried most of my favorites here: • Croissant🥐 Tastes good, but it would be perfect if they could heat it up. • Onion soup: Quite good. • Today’s soup (Minestrone): Not bad. • Cajun chicken sandwich: I didn’t enjoy this — the thinly sliced chicken reminded me of Vietnamese sausage, and the flavor wasn’t great. 👎🏻 • Walnut bread: Really nice! 🍞 • Espresso☕️ Not to my taste. • Spanish Turnover: The server tried to heat it up, but it was still barely warm. The pastry wasn’t very tasty either.
Wling A — Google review
i recently visited a charming french bakery located in mississauga that offers an authentic pastry experience. the interior, while somewhat old-fashioned in its design elements, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere with its bright lighting and comfortable seating arrangement. the bakery features an impressive selection of french pastries displayed with care. their croissant varieties demonstrate excellent technique with proper lamination and butter distribution. the tart selection is equally noteworthy, with well-balanced flavors and textures. complementing these offerings is a modest but sufficient selection of coffee and tea beverages. the dining area consists of approximately six tables, which creates an intimate setting suitable for quiet conversation. a thoughtful addition is the self-serve water station available to patrons. during our visit, we sampled extensively from their croissant and tart offerings and found each item to be of high quality. the kouign-amann remains on my list for a future visit, as it comes highly recommended! overall, this establishment delivers a genuine french bakery experience worth revisiting for those who appreciate fine pastries in mississauga.

I have been meaning to visit this place for years and I finally got the opportunity this morning. I stopped by shortly after opening and they already had the full product availability. Everything looked and smelled amazing. Picked up 4 croissants. There are still many more I’m planning on trying in the future. The service was courteous and efficient. I like the fact that everything is behind the glass and packed for you by the staff. You don’t get random people touching and coughing over the products. Much more hygienic.

Oh my god, trust me guys, this place has the best pastries in the world. I love them. I tried Exotic Mango, white chocolate Strawberry and pistachio moose. Their price ranges between 6 to 8 dollars each. The real fruit filling inside is fresh and outer layer is so crunchy. Definitely recommended.
Jaspreet K — Google review
I fulljoy going to this spot for desserts. I just love their tiramisu. The selection is vast, lots to choose from. It was my birthday so I ordered a slice of Tiramisu and carrot cake. You can order a slice or a whole cake depending on your needs. I have previously ordered a whole cheesecake and tiramisu cake from this bakery for a party. The presentation and decoration on the desserts are very inviting. You can dine in and have your meal served on a porcelain plate or take out. Happy to have this place nearby for whenever I have a sweet tooth.
Nalian — Google review
I suggest coking here early as it gets crowded right before noon. Their coffee is amazing and their food has a unique taste. There is a lot of choices to order from sandwiches to pastries and desserts. I honestly would give them a 5 star if only they would be able to fina a better container if customers order a lot of the mini desserts. We bought a few to give as a gift but the mini cakes ended up bumping into each other on the ride and did not look good as they were on the store. But other than that, we’ll definitely come back to try more of their pastries!
Llyz T — Google review
Staff were super friendly and helpful when I had questions about the pastries. I went with a friend and we had 2 mango and 2 strawberry pastries (both delicious, but mango is my favorite!) along with macarons, all amazing. Highly recommend the lemon macaron too!

Nestled in Mississauga, Nova Pastry & Bakery is a charming bakery and market that has captured the hearts of locals with its delightful array of Portuguese breads, pastries, and cakes. This inviting spot prides itself on using traditional recipes paired with high-quality ingredients to craft irresistible treats. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory, their friendly staff are always eager to help you find your perfect indulgence.
The *best* place for your cake needs!!!! We ordered 2 cakes for my daughter’s birthday from here and we were so impressed with the bakers care in making exactly what we were looking for. Not only were our cakes so beautiful (and exactly what we envisioned) but they were delicious! Fresh, light, and the perfect amount of sweetness. We had so many guests asking where the cake was from and we were so happy to have something that everyone enjoyed. We will definitely be ordering more desserts from Nova! Thank you for the incredible service and for making my daughter’s birthday extra sweet 😊
Rebecca L — Google review
I wouldn’t special order a cake from here again. I got a picture of a cake from one of there reviews and asked for the same one and I got something completely different and I didn’t want to argue. The cakes on the display when I arrived were 100times nicer and like the ones in the photo so I’m not sure why my cake had turned out like this. Not only does it look different but even when I spoke on the phone to have it ordered the inside was suppose to be vanilla but it was chocolate and strawberry. Flavour is not bad but still if your looking to get a cake it’s better to just walk in and see what they have because if you order you won’t know what you’ll get.
Angie — Google review
Going in for a quick breakfast bite, you can easily get overwhelmed in a way! It's a really nice Portuguese bakery with a variety of breads for your needs. The prices weren't bad but would have to try those for another time. The service was okay, they got to my pastries and rolls quickly. I ended up getting a beef roll and some pastel de natas and pistachio cannolis. The beef roll was massive! The beef was well seasoned and the pastry itself was not bad. The sad thing was the pastel de Nata, which was super eggy and not as custardy with no hints of cinnamon or lemon to brighten up the custard filling. Even the bake on the tart was just meh. The same can be said for the pistachio cannolis. The Bake was pretty mediocre, with a bad crumb and soggy in a way and the filling was serviceable. I would come here for the supermarket experience but the pastries are a bit of a miss. If they focused on more Portugesese pastries and removed their Italian counterparts, it would be in better standing!
Kiran M — Google review
Such a nice little bakery.the treats were so delicious and the fresh bread is amazing 👏
Komal P — Google review
Nova Pastry and Bakery is like having a little piece of Portugal down the street from me. The baked goods are delish. They sell out their tarts every day I am sure. And their apple turnovers are flaky and filled with delicious apple and cinnamon. They also have a deli and a small sit-down cafe. The coffee is strong and will kick you into high gear while their sandwiches are big enough to feed two. If you are looking for fresh bread and buns, look no further. Try it, you'll love it.
Darleen C — Google review
I'm always so shocked by how rude the staff are... They all seem miserable and have absolutely no manners or warmth whatsoever. The food is really hit or miss, they don't offer to warm up any of the smaller savory food items and the organizational layout of the bakery is utterly chaotic. The vibe in there is weirdly pretentious from staff and customers alike... I must say that their hot chocolate is unbelievably good (which is why I'm giving this place a 2 star rating) but that's about all I can give them. Will definitely be taking a longer drive to find another bakery.

I have been visiting Nova bakery for 4 years now. Very nice portuguese bakery and grocery store! They have a wide variety of excellent assortment bread, fresh desserts, delicious cakes, and lots of grocery items. I loved all their breads. I know many of the staff and every one of them are warm and welcoming. There is also a seating area in the store to eat your desserts and drink coffee! This shop is next to the beautiful Ukrainian Church.Highly recommend making the trip.

Nestled in Mississauga, Papa John's Bakery is a charming Asian bakery that captures the essence of Hong Kong's culinary delights. This unpretentious spot offers an array of delectable pastries, traditional Chinese buns, and the beloved Hong Kong-style milk tea that transports you straight to the bustling streets of the city. The inviting decor adds to its charm, making it a cozy place for breakfast or a casual meal.
Fantastic experience!! I had to write a review. The ham and egg bun was genuinely one of the best I have ever had!! We also especially enjoyed the fried chicken thigh and rice, the curry rice and the macaroni in soup with ham (not pictured). Great value considering the included hk milk tea. The baked rice was solid, we just accidentally ordered rice instead of spaghetti. Also really nice atmosphere and decor.

This is a nice Hong Kong style cafe (茶餐厅). The decor is super cute. They offer a lot of the Hong Kong cafe classics. I was so happy to have the milk tea. It brought me right back to Hong Kong. taste is spot on, right amount of bitterness yet silk smooth. I was struggling to decide what to order. I took the baked pork chop. It was a specialty of the restaurant on their menu. First few bites were great. But then it was meh… I hate to say this, i wish it was tastier…. I will try other dishes next time. I’m sure I’ll be back :) I also got some pastry to go. The Swiss roll was nice.

So happy we found this place - 100% authentic which you can tell by the HK style tea, rich and smooth. Their pineapple bun is the best I’ve ever tasted. Their menu is full of HK cafe favorites! Kids approved in taste, friendly service, love the atmosphere, and it’s clean.
Whitney M — Google review
A great HK cafe with baked goods and hot food. The baked pork chop and minced beef on spaghetti were delicious! We also had egg/ham toast and fried chicken with rice. Their buns and egg tarts are the best in town. Highly recommended!
Rod C — Google review
I think it’s the best hk style bakery in Mississauga. Love their pineapple bun. They bake their own breads there, way better than T&T and Saint Germain which are mass produced. I prefer their iced milk tea over the hot one.

I actually come here from time to time. I am just going to take the time to write the honest opinion. The food generally tastes ok, not the best outstanding food you expect with the price. However sometimes the taste does go off the norm a bit.
Herman P — Google review
The milk-tea is always good there. The lady prepared the milk-tea for me with minimal sugar exactly as requested. It's nice to have a curry beef bun and then a red bean pineapple bun for a quick and fulfilling breakfast. This morning, we had a dine-in plus some take-out... In fact, I have an idea of a trial on those take-out buns gently reheated in a toaster oven. It may improve the experience on the cold "curry beef" as well as the red bean filling.

Always loved HK style for, and Papa John's in Mississauga did not disappoint. The quaint outlet is a combination bakery, a drink shop and a restaurant - all of which offer HK style cuisine. I ordered my favourite ox tongue on spaghetti with tomato sauce all covered with cheese and delicately baked. I am not a big eater, but I finished the whole dish. My wife order braised beef with turnips on rice. She nearly finished it and said that she will be back to try other dishes on the menu. With the pastry roll to enjoy at home as dessert, the total came to $45 which included tax and tips. The wife and I will be back. 👍

Rashmi's Bakery is a delightful gem in Mississauga, born from Rashmi Chugh's passion for creating egg-free cakes for her son nearly twenty years ago. This charming bakery specializes in an array of halal, vegetarian, and nut-free treats that cater to various dietary needs, including gluten-free and vegan options. Their menu features a tempting selection of flavors ranging from the classic Vanilla Classic to the exotic Mango Madness.
I ordered a custom fairy-themed cake from Rashmi’s Bakery (Mavis, Mississauga), and it was absolutely beautiful! The design was perfect, and the cake not only looked stunning but also tasted amazing—soft, fresh, and full of flavour (chocolate cream flavour). A big thank you to Tanya for putting so much care into making our daughter’s birthday extra special with such a beautiful cake. We also tried their cheesy corn puff and potato puff, and both were incredibly tasty. Huge thanks to the Rashmi’s Bakery team for their excellent service and wonderful work. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!!! Highly recommend!!!

How is this place still in business? It’s hard to believe the positive reviews are real — they must be paid for. Just read the 1-star reviews and you’ll see the truth. The cakes we received were loaded with the cheapest ingredients imaginable. They actually use Cool Whip — seriously, the absolute bottom of the barrel. The cake itself was dense, stale, and clearly not fresh. It was a major letdown. I genuinely hope my family and I don’t end up sick like others have reported after buying from this place. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Straight to the trash.

Visited Rashmi Bakery and had an amazing experience! We ordered 6 aloo patties and 6 rasmalai pastries….everything was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. The ambience has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff greet you with a big smile every time, which genuinely made my day. Highly recommended!

I recently placed my first order after hearing a lot of buzz from friends. I tried the below: Cheesy Corn Puff: It reminded me of the ones back home in India — nostalgic and decent in taste Vegan Cream Roll: It had very little cream, which surprisingly worked for me. It wasn’t overly sweet, so if you prefer light desserts, this might be a good pick. Rabri Gulab Jamun Dessert: This one was a letdown. It’s a layered dessert with sponge cake, gulab jamun, coconut rabri, and cream — but the combination just didn’t sit well with me. The coconut and gulab jamun clash in flavor. I couldn’t get past two spoons and have been taking small bites daily just so it doesn't go to waste. Oreo Cheescake: The Oreo layer had become soggy, which took away from the overall texture. The combination of a creamy topping and Oreo didn’t quite blend as expected. If you’re looking for a better cheesecake experience, I recommend trying The Happy Choco in Square One – much more satisfying! Overall, it felt like just another regular dessert place. Nothing extraordinary that would make me rush to reorder.
Arumbu S — Google review
I went to Rashmi Bakery and got the gulab jamun cake and it was AMAZING! I loved it so much I went back for seconds. I also tried the corn puffs and they were sooo good, flaky, light, and they reminded me of the ones I’ve had in India. The service was fast and smooth, and pickup from my online order was super easy. The best part was that everyone in my family loved the cake too. The real highlight is that even though their cakes are eggless, you honestly can’t even tell, they’re so soft, rich, and full of flavor. The fusion of flavors is really unique too; it’s not your typical cake, and every bite has something special going on. The price is fair for the quality, though it’s a little pricier compared to some other bakeries, but I’d say it’s totally worth it. Definitely a place I’ll be going back to, delicious treats, quick service, and such nostalgic and unique flavors.

If I could give 20 stars, I would. From the beginning, it was just top notch service. I accidentally ordered two of the same cake and they corrected my error quickly. The email response was prompt, ordering process easy, and even the delivery person was pleasant. On top of it all, the cake was absolutely perfect and DELICIOUS. Our daughter was so happy with how it looked (we added the legos seen in the picture) and we all loved the taste. I thought it was a very reasonable price for an exceptional cake including delivery. We will definitely buy all of our cakes here in the future.

Honestly, I find I have to make time to stop in for a treat here when im in the area. I have yet to have anything but positive experiences, with both the staff and the food they make. It is well worth its reasonable price. The rainbow cake always hits the spot :) You won't go wrong going here.

This bakery is an absolute gem! The customer service is always warm, friendly, and attentive—they really make you feel welcomed. The food is just as impressive: fresh pastries, and perfectly made cakes that taste as good as they look. Every visit feels consistent in both quality and service, which keeps me coming back. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great food and great service!

Restaurant
The Apricot Tree Cafe is a vibrant European-style eatery and patisserie that has been a local favorite for over 25 years. Originally starting as a dessert and cake shop, it has now expanded its menu to offer an array of delectable options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and more. The cafe serves up an assortment of dishes such as schnitzel, crepes, strudels, and homemade ice cream.
Apricot Tea cafe has been around since 32 years still packing the house in Mississauga. I tried their chicken & veggie-stuffed crepe light, flavorful, and totally satisfying. But the real surprise? That French onion soup… rich, cheesy, and addictive. I could not get enough! Finished it off with a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak that hit every mark. This cozy spot on Dundas Street West is worth the trip.

I was here for brunch and had Smoked Salmon Omelette with black coffee. I sat outdoors and found the atmosphere and ambience really peaceful and fresh. It was summer and no heatwave. The food was delicious and the coffee was smooth. Really enjoyed it.

I recently had my son’s Wedding Rehearsal dinner in the restaurant’s event room. The evening was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The desserts are home made by the pastry chef. Very happy to recommend this for any event. We had 20 guests and it was perfect. A special thank you to Sergio and Eduardo.

Today i visited this cute and cozy cafe for lunch and a had delightful dining experience at an authentic European restaurant. Cafe was really busy and packed btw 1pm to 2:30PM. Location is really stunning. Servers are really nice and attentive. A true gem that beautifully encapsulates European cuisine and atmosphere.

We celebrated my daughter’s 40th at Apricot Street Café and had a wonderful time. Edwardo gave us a warm welcome and even surprised her with cake and a candle, which was such a thoughtful touch. The majority of food was excellent, however the brisket sandwich was a mess, bun way too small and basket of bread was cold. The apricot mimosa and cofee were outstanding. The only downside was that service felt really slow despite it not being busy. It took half hour to take our order and drinks even longer. One staff member was eating in plain sight, when the table beside us needed clearing. That said, this café remains a gem in Mississauga—great food, warm touches, and with a bit more staff cohesiveness, it could be perfect.

Food is really good, however service could be better. Nobody was at reception so we had to wait even we had reservation... Waiting for meal, than waiting for coffee.... meals are not coming at the same time, some meal we had to cancel since waiting was too long.. 5 stars for food, 1 star for service
Misha N — Google review
Recently came here for lunch on a whim with my husband and baby. Place was very busy, which to me is a good sign. Food was a bit of a wait, but not outside of what I expected for a packed restaurant. The schnitzel was excellent, crisp and moist. This place loses a star for me only because neither of the two washrooms has a change table, so my spouse had to leave during our meal to change the baby in the car. It was quite surprising seeing as there were at least 2 other families with infants dining here during our meal so it is a place where young families tend to eat. I would definitely come back since we didn't have time for dessert and they looked absolutely delectable, but most likely not when I want to have a meal out with my family.
L L — Google review
Recently dined at the Apricot Tree Cafe, and while there were a few minor hitches, the overall experience was a solid. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The cafe has a warm, welcoming feel that makes you want to linger. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the dessert. The cake was absolutely delicious—rich, decadent, and beautifully presented. The food was good but didn't quite live up to the dessert. Additionally, the service, while friendly, was a bit slow. It's not a deal-breaker, but it did make the meal feel a bit more rushed than it should have been, especially when we were trying to get the server's attention. Despite these small issues, I would highly recommend the Apricot Tree Cafe, particularly for a treat. It's a great spot for a casual brunch or a delightful afternoon coffee and cake. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their dessert menu!

Uncle Tetsu's Japanese Cheesecake is a bakery dedicated to Japanese-style cheesecakes. You can order different flavours of their Original Cheesecake, available in 7" sizes with chocolate or matcha as additional flavour options. The bakery also offers cakes through Uber Eats.
This review is intended strictly for the tarts- we had the salted caramel mochi cheese tart and it was phenomenal… we ordered the fluffy cheesecake it tasted like flavorless fluff. If we ever go back it would be to try out the other flavors of tarts they have.
A B — Google review
When we first walked into the store, it smelled amazing! We decided on getting the original cheesecake. Some flavours, such as matcha, are only available on specific days of the week. Quick service despite a bit of a line. Once we got home, we noticed that they had given us a free tart in a separate bag marked ‘gift’, which was very sweet! ☺️ The cheesecake was soft, creamy, airy and not too sweet. The tarts had a sweet filling on the bottom. We had it with warm indian chai, went well together and very filling. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a lighter, not too sweet cheesecake!
Deya N — Google review
Uncle Tetsu on Bay Street is one of those Toronto dessert spots that completely lives up to its reputation. Whether you’re a long-time fan of their famous Japanese cheesecakes or it’s your first visit, the experience feels special every time. This location in particular stands out for its consistency, quality, and warm, welcoming vibe. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the iconic aroma of freshly baked cheesecake — warm, buttery, slightly sweet, and instantly comforting. It’s the kind of smell that makes you smile without trying. Their classic Japanese cheesecake is truly something unique: incredibly soft, fluffy, and light, with that perfect balance of subtle sweetness and creamy texture. It’s not heavy or overly rich, which makes it dangerously easy to enjoy slice after slice. What I really appreciate about this Bay Street location is the quality and freshness. You can tell the cakes are made constantly throughout the day, and every cheesecake you get feels like it just came out of the oven. That signature jiggly softness is always there. It’s the kind of dessert that tastes simple but refined — something you can enjoy on your own or bring to friends and instantly impress them. The variety is also a pleasant surprise. Beyond the classic cheesecake, they offer different flavours, madeleines, and little treats that complement the main star. It gives you options without overwhelming you, and everything maintains that same level of craftsmanship. The store itself is clean, tidy, and very well organized. Even when it gets busy (and it often does), the setup keeps things moving smoothly. The displays are visually appealing, and the packaging is thoughtful and cute, making it perfect for gifting as well. A big highlight is the staff. They’re friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful — whether you’re asking about flavours, shelf life, or recommendations. They handle long lines with a smile and keep the atmosphere positive. Pricing is fair, especially considering the quality and freshness you’re getting. It feels like you’re paying for a handmade dessert, not something mass-produced. Overall, Uncle Tetsu on Bay Street is a top-tier cheesecake destination. Delicious, consistent, freshly made, and always a joy to visit. If you love cheesecake — or even if you think you don’t — this place will change your mind. Highly recommended.
Kal S — Google review
I've had Uncle Tetsu's across various locations in the city. They're fairly consistent. Wished the cheese tart was a little warmer and it would've been perfect. Located in the Atrium on Bay. Not a sit down place. No hassle. Just grab, go, and enjoy!
Hank B — Google review
Always love stepping into an Uncle Tetsu shop and take in the fresh sweet baking. This new location really suits them well - aesthetic, space and transparency, and you can tell it is reflected in their new prices (e.g., $14.75 for matcha cheesecake; $21 for half a dozen cheese tarts). In addition to matcha cheesecake, they now have a new flavour - very berry cheesecake and tart. It’s quite delicious. Although there are 2 entrances, line always starts on the Dundas entrance. For consideration, if there is some seating area, it would be perfect.
Thai L — Google review
The best japanese cheese cakes ever. They have a very spacious work environment, so clean and organized. It's an open kitchen concept and you see how much goes into making their delicious desserts. Don't sleep on the tarts and ice cream. So good.
Kavin S — Google review
Excellent Japanese cheesecake. Love the lightness and airyness of these. Tried their seasonal Yuzu flavour (lemon) this time and it was great with lemon zest (and even got a lemon seed which speaks to the use of fresh ingredients so I'm happy about!). Arigatō!
Zahabia I — Google review
If you're a fan of cheesecakes, Uncle Tetsu at the Atrium Mall is a must-visit. The staff here are incredibly friendly, efficient, and welcoming — they really make the experience even better. Service is always fast, even when there's a line, which is often the case because the cakes are just that good. One of the best things about this location is how fresh everything is. If you go in the morning, you can actually watch the cheesecakes being baked right in front of you — it's a treat for the senses! The aroma fills the shop, and you know you're getting something straight out of the oven. Soft, fluffy, and not overly sweet, their cheesecakes are consistently delicious. Definitely a top spot in downtown Toronto for a quick treat or gift. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the heart of Mississauga, Daddy O Doughnuts & British Baked Goods is a delightful bakeshop that beckons donut enthusiasts with its charming atmosphere and an impressive array of artisanal donuts. As you step inside this petite gem, you'll be greeted by an enticing display showcasing a variety of unique flavors like coffee cake, lotus biscoff, carrot cake, and many more that are sure to pique your curiosity.
Unassuming spot for incredible donuts. The dough is fluffy, moist and perfectly cooked with a chewy texture and great bite. Flavour variety is vast and while on the pricey side, the value is great. Fillings and icings were not to sweet and actually had distinct flavours that wasn't just sugar. I'm excited to try more flavours! Would be great if it wasn't just takeout and there was coffee, but the donuts make up for it.
Angel L — Google review
Doesn't get any fresher than this! I had been eyeing Daddy O for a while now - drove by a few times and followed them on Instagram before one Sunday I finally said that I was going to go any try it out. You never know what you will get when trying new places but sometimes things just work out so perfectly! I was craving an apple Fritter and although they didn't have one, the peach Fritter was the one I needed to get. As a cinnamon roll lover as well, although it was labeled as "vegan", it was not going to stop me from trying it. We bought 6 donuts and we barely made it to the car before we were already dipping in. The plain jane was the placebo - you gotta judge a donut shop based on how they make plain donuts. This was so amazing - fresh, soft, pillow-y and just the right amount of sweetness. We dove straight into the rest of them. We loved them so much that we actually went back into the store to grab a few more for a gathering we were headed to later. Everyone should experience a Daddy O Doughnut! Cannot wait to go back and I will definitely add this spot to my regular food circuit.

Overall everything is a bit too sweet for me, but that just my opinion.

Absolutely great experience buying donuts here! The donuts were deliciously light, but with a slight chew. They were a perfect bite. The flavors were vast so there is truly something for everyone. Almost everything made in house and the quality is unmatched. These do not disappoint!
Britanny M — Google review
Great local donut spot in Mississauga! They have a lot of great flavors to choose from and quite a few vegan selections as well. We tried the plain Jane, vegan Boston cream, maple bacon and Bob Marley. My favorites were the last two. Plain Jane, well, was quite plain but also they only iced one face of the donut instead of all over. The Bob Marley was encrusted with sweet salty crushed peanuts - but be careful because they were quite sharp if you're taking a bite! Vegan Boston cream was decent, but I think they can make the filling inside smoother as it was quite pasty in consistency.

Among their standout treats are the irresistible butter tarts, which have garnered quite a reputation—especially with their unique burnt crust that adds a chewy texture to each bite. The cookie dough brownies and chocolate chip Skor cookies also deserve a mention for their mouthwatering flavors.
Been looking for a really good butter tart and it looks like I finally found it! Definitely 11/10!!! I bought these for an appreciation day for my work & EVERYONE said how they were the BEST they've ever had & I absolutely agree! They're chewy, not runny or overly sweet & the crust, oh my goodness, compliments the filling perfectly! Ive had butter tarts before that are just pure sugar but these, oh my, these you can taste & appreciate the flavours👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼the perfect butter tart & bonus for me, it's a local business so they will be seeing alot of me😊

A cozy little cafe! The theme is purple and it's a cute space. For the coffee - I specified to add 1 sugar but it was too sweet for my taste I doubt it was added from packet or tsp. Anyways otherwise coffee was good. The chicken and veggies pot pie was good as well however did not much like the spinach and cheese one. Both were extremely cold from inside seemed like it was refrigerated the night before. Did extra warm it up and seemed fine.

Kate's Town Talk Bakery makes an excellent butter tart! I am on an ongoing quest to find the best butter tart in Ontario, as you can see by looking at my previous reviews. I happened to be in Mississauga yesterday and heard that Kate's has the butter tart in the city. Having tried it, I can certainly believe it! Probably my favourite feature of these tarts is a lovely burnt crust around the top rim of the tart - it's incredibly addictive and has a pleasant chewy texture. The filling also has an excellent caramel flavour. The crust is quite thick - perhaps a bit thicker than I prefer, but it complements the filling nicely and enables the formation of that delicious crust. The bakery is a quaint little shop in the charming Village of Streetsville, and the staff were friendly and answered my questions on the phone in advance of visiting. So that's the cherry on top, but the excellent butter tart is sufficient reason to visit this bakery!

Super lovely patisserie, very friendly and helpful service. Everything looks and so far tastes delicious. The only drawback is that there are only 3 seats, (not tables) in total. So, try your luck if you hope to stay to enjoy your coffee and treat, or be prepared for takeout. That said, it has a steady stream of regular customers. Happy to have come in and tried it myself.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am a hairstylist at LK Hair and Skin Studio just a couple of minutes walking from Le Delice Pastry Shop and today I finally decided to stop by and see what everyone was talking about and honestly it was such a beautiful surprise from the first step inside the smell of fresh pastries and coffee filled the place and made me feel so happy and relaxed the atmosphere was warm inviting and full of positive energy the display looked absolutely amazing everything was fresh colorful and so tempting that it was hard to choose what to try first the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming they smiled with genuine warmth and treated every customer with care which made the whole experience feel very personal and special I tried a few different pastries and every single one tasted so delicious soft rich and perfectly made you can really tell that they put their heart into their work and care about the quality of what they make I also noticed how clean and organized everything was from the counter to the seating area which shows their professionalism and pride in what they do it really felt like a small piece of happiness in the middle of the day I left with a big smile on my face and a box full of treats that I could not wait to share with my friends and coworkers it is such a blessing to have a place like this so close by and I will definitely be coming back for more thank you to the amazing team at Le Delice for your kindness and for making such wonderful pastries every visit to your bakery feels like a sweet little escape from the busy day and I cannot wait to come back again soon

Excellent customer service and very clean restaurant. Lots of beautiful ladies to help you select the perfect yummy treat. It is a small shop and does get crowded. Ordered the strawberry shortcake, which was heavenly, and was devoured by the whole family within minutes. Highly recommended bakery store and will definitely go back to try other items. It's one of the better bakery stores I've been to in ages.

Le Delice is the best patisserie in the world. Period. The owner is so amazing, and the cakes cannot be beat. I have tried many cakes from many places and nothing has ever compared. The taste of all their cakes is mouthwatering delicious, and they are so beautiful that they don’t look edible. Wow Le Delice!!!! You know how to make the most amazing cakes. I am so excited to pick up my cakes for a Thanksgiving dinner this coming Monday. Five stars all the way!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Sweet Slice of Heaven at Le Délice Le Délice is not just a pastry shop — it’s a little piece of Paris nestled right in our neighborhood. From the moment you step inside, the warm, buttery aroma of freshly baked croissants and tarts welcomes you like an old friend. Every detail, from the elegant displays to the delicate touches in their desserts, speaks of passion, artistry, and an unwavering commitment to quality. I’ve tried many patisseries, but few capture the essence of French baking like Le Délice. Their almond croissant is flaky, golden, and generously filled — pure bliss in every bite. The macarons are divine: light, crisp shells with rich, flavorful fillings that melt on the tongue. And their seasonal fruit tarts are as much a feast for the eyes as they are for the palate. The staff are warm, attentive, and clearly love what they do. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee and a pastry or indulging in a weekend treat box, every visit feels special. Le Délice isn’t just a bakery — it’s an experience, a comfort, and a celebration of sweetness done right.

Nestled in the heart of the community, Britannia Italian Bakery has been a beloved destination since its establishment in 1991. This charming spot combines an Italian grocery store with a bakery, offering an array of imported products and handmade delights that keep both locals and visitors coming back for more. The inviting atmosphere is perfect for enjoying their delicious baked goods or savoring a cup of coffee at one of the cozy tables available.
Mississauga’s best Italian bakery, in my opinion. The freshest bread. The best cookies. The friendliest staff. The tastiest hot table. How many places do we have left where they can still serve you in Italian? When I walk through the doors, it feels and smells like home. I come here because I know that it’s still Nonna in the kitchen, putting her love into every roll and dessert.

Cappuccino is great. 10/10. Right ratio of espresso to milk and foam. I also chose a little cookie that was perfect with it. There is a large variety of pastries and also great finds in the grocery section. The ambiance is very friendly; I noticed a lot of the employees know the customers names and greet them when they come through the door.

Lots of pastry varieties! I had a latte and a cortado to start my Sunday journey. I also tried the all-beef meat and cheese pastry—it’s inspired by Calabrian food. **ONLY CASH OR DEBIT**

Hello hungry world. Bonjourno! I randomly stopped by while driving through the area. Clearly a family owned and operated place with lots of regulars. Both the standard elderly Italian guys enjoying a chat over some espresso and many others of all ethnicities. They have a fresh hot food counter which I didnt have but looked and smelled incredible. I saw them bringing the fresh food out from the kitchen as it ran out. (All the standard Italian dummies for lunch ) You can get a wonderful assortment of Italian and a couple other euro pastries and a great variety of bread. Apparently well known for their cannolies as many people were ordering them as I ate. There are some ready made Italian sandwiches, a deli counter and predators packaged goodies. The owner and the young lady I believe to be her daughter were both super friendly, attentive, helpful and full of smiles. I felt at home here (even as a mangacake!!) I will certainly visit again when I'm in the area. I hope and pray to see more places like this staying strong as staples of the community as the city constantly changes for the worse. For now.. ciao!!!

We stopped in for lunch and ate some fresh pasta with tomato sauce and chicken cutlets. Tasted like it was made by Nonna. Next time we’re in that part of town I will go back. Also had a cannoli and a cappuccino and both were delicious. They have a small section within (a handful of tables) to sit down and enjoy your drink / food. Friendly staff and service.

Somebody forgot they exist as a business for customers. Went this morning first thing. Not very busy yet. Lots of employees, but nobody waited on me. I bought a large focaccia. I asked a young blond lady to help me with packaging. She pointed to the bags. I tried to put it in but realized I would make a mess with crumbs, so I brought the tray to her and asked her if she could so it. She got very annoyed, rolled her eyes and directed me to their cash register area. I brought the steel pan there. Nobody there. I went to another area to buy cookies. I was tols to go to another counter area to order. I waited behind a couple of customers. When my turn, I told the saleslady what I wanted. She directed me to the other aide where I was previously. I told her someone told me to move to this spot. She walked over to the cookies. Looked for someone else to help me. A young man packed the cookies. I went back to cash and paid for everything. No interaction from the cashier. This used to be a nice place to come. People were pleasant. Now everyone seems to busy to care about their clients. Too bad. I don't think I will be coming back.

DON’T GO HERE. This is my first time coming to this bakery and I don’t believe that I will be going back. The woman operating cash is not very friendly, she did not greet me when I walked up to cash, nor did she offer me a copy of my receipt. After taking my order, she shewed me off to the side... However, I purchased a veggie omelet with a large caesar salad. The food is disgusting. The omelet was very thin, undercooked (runny), lacked flavour (salt) and had more onions in it than anything…. No exaggeration, while I was eating it, I became nauseous and nearly threw up. The bread that came on the side was extremely hard making it inedible… The salad although I didn’t have high expectations from the look of it was disgusting and inedible. They place a bunch of new looking leaves on top and the rest were literally brown all over… In total everything came up to $18.25. Which is not worth the quality of the food.

I’ve been frequenting Caldense bakery for 15+ years, across multiple locations. They have become my go-to for custom cakes. The quality of their design work is amazing and the cakes are always so delicious. The strawberry shortcake has become my favourite, followed by the best of both worlds. The cherry on top is how easy their ordering process is.

I no longer will be visiting the bakery at Weston and 401 eventhough i love their cheesecake. Yesterday around 7pm after doing my rounds in the plaza I decided to treat myself. Walked in but the gentlemen was serving a family dining in. So I waited patiently by sitting on a chair closest to the serving area with money in hand. Once he was done I got up but 2 ppl walked in. This gentlemen turned to one of the customers who just walked in and politely asked may I help you, totally ignoring me. I said to him why are you serving her...I was next. I was so upset I put my money back in my wallet, told him dont bother and walked out. He did not even try to apologize. Instead he turned back to the lady and politely asked what can i get for you. So disappointed.

Only leaving one star because NO STARS is not an option. Literally was looking forward to having a sweet treat after my dinner tonight… only to find that my half dozen Portuguese tarts were completely burned. Unreal. No wonder the girl serving us placed each one with the other on top. I thought it was to make room for the slice of cake too… Clearly it’s because our tarts that she packaged up were burnt to a crisp. I can’t believe someone thought these were fit to sell to a customer. The ones we saw in the display were absolutely not the ones she sold us. Had I seen these burned ones, I wouldn’t have ordered them or I would have asked for unburned ones. And don’t say the custard should be burned — been to Portugal twice and never seen a tart like this. Really disappointed. Talk about taking advantage of your customers.

Lazio Italian Bakery & Deli Ltd has been a beloved staple in Mississauga since 1985, drawing in locals and visitors alike with its mouthwatering offerings. This charming bakery and deli is renowned for its delectable cakes, artisan breads, and creamy gelato. Even on the busiest days, you’ll find a friendly line of eager customers waiting to indulge in their favorites. The warm hospitality from the staff adds to the experience; they greet everyone with smiles regardless of how hectic things get.
Best ITALIAN BAKERY in Mississauga. This location has a café. Best, pastries, hot table and deli counter. You cannot compare to any other bakery . The bakery is phenomenal. Wide selection of bread. Come in the morning early when the bread is fresh. Every time I come here there’s a lineup for the bread, pastries, hot table, deli or the café.

An Italian rum cake from Lazio Bakery, ordered for my girlfriend’s 50th birthday, was hands down the best cake ever had. It was moist, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. When sliced, you could see all the beautiful layers — and every bite melted in your mouth. The cake was a showstopper, beautifully decorated with fresh-cut flowers, and every guest couldn’t stop raving about it. Lazio Bakery truly outdid themselves. Every morsel was devoured!

'I stand by my product' - how do you make sense of this remark by the owner when the $15 banana cake I bought yesterday had mold. Is this arrogance or complete disregard of your customer's feedback or is it that $15 is more important than the reputation of your bakery? I have been visiting this bakery for last 8 years and always told my friends that this was my 'favourite bakery'. I am not sure if there was a hint of racialism in their treatment of us as 'non Italian' customers. Would they do the same to an Italian customer? Are they not worried about losing other customers other than Italians? You can see that I am shocked at how owners can completely disregard the customer feedback in this age of slow economy when the business owners need to cling on to their loyal customers? Anyways, my advice to everyone who is thinking about buying their products - either go to their shop, thoroughly check what you are buying OR don't buy because if you order a delivery and it is MOLDY they would 'stand by their product' and not even listen to your complain leave aside refunding - unless you are Italian. I am done with Lazio - please suggest another bakery please.

I recently ordered a cake from Gold Cherry Bakery for a baby shower and was thoroughly impressed. The cake not only looked stunning but also tasted delectable. The design perfectly matched my request, and the white chocolate raspberry flavor was divine. It was a hit with everyone at the party. The bakery's owner, Shannon, demonstrated professionalism and organization throughout the process, ensuring timely delivery. I highly recommend Gold Cherry Bakery for any occasion requiring a delicious and beautifully crafted cake.
Consistently looks and TASTES amazing! Couldn’t recommend this amazing local business more!! Have yet to find any flavour our family doesn’t love from this bakery. Shannon and her team handled our wedding cake needs spectacularly, and all our guests talked about the yummy cupcakes long afterwards. We’ve used GoldCherry for bridal showers, birthdays and all sorts of celebrations. The designs always blow us away and everyone always asks where my treats are from so they can order too. Will be coming here for many years to come!

Absolutely lovely shop filled with beautiful display cakes and so many cute cookie ideas! Staff is super friendly and the owner, Shannon, is just brilliant! Their lime meringue tart and pistachio mousse cake were to die for, so much so that it was only at the last bite I thought “damn I forgot to take a photos!”. Just an excuse to go back and try more! 😉 really want to grab those conversation heart cookies next time!

My review is long overdue. Last month, we ordered a gorgeous cake for my daughter's 21st and it was a hit! Every girl I spoke to there was pleasant to deal with. I asked for a slight customization to their chocolate hazelnut flavor and they gladly accommodated. The color and style of cake I showed them is what I received. The cake itself was so so good and moist and our guests loved it and a couple even asked for the name of the bakery so we will be back for more ❤️. If I had one critique I would say the writing could've been better: the E in her name looked like an L but other than that I'm so happy with the service and cake overall. I know we will use and recommend Gold Cherry again for other upcoming events.

We love Gold Cherry! No birthday or special event is complete without the amazing decorated cookies from Gold Cherry. The level of detail is top notch. They are so talented. And not only is the detail and packaging beautiful but these are the very best sugar cookies, soft sweet with the perfect blend of bite and chew. Gold Cherry is our favourite bakery for special occasions, with thoughtfully designed and beautifully made cakes and pastries regardless of the theme! Birthdays young and old, weddings and showers, you name it. We also love the small treats in the bakery itself (especially white chocolate macadamia cookies...)

I picked up a Too Good To Go order from Gold Cherry Bakery approximately 2 weeks ago. One of the items I received was covered with mould. This mould couldn’t be seen because the mini cake was covered with a outer shell. According to a Google review last year, someone else also received mouldy food from this same establishment. I understand that TGTG items are not supposed to be freshest, but they are supposed to be consumable and not potentially make someone ill. I just hope this bakery take more precautions so that others don’t have an experience like mine.

My partner has ordered cakes for them for years! Their cakes are always delicious and beautifully decorated. Thus we ordered a cake from them for our wedding too. Gabby L — Google review
Two days ago I have ordered a strawberry shortcake to be delivered at my house and it was supposed to be for my husband birthday with his name on it. The thing is that they forgot to write his name. On the cake was written only ‘’Happy Birthday’’ and I was improvising with a piece of paper later on. It was such a shame and disappointment. Need to say that I have repeated his name two times to the person over the phone while I was ordering… The second thing was the person who was doing the delivery. He had called me on the phone when he was in front of my house saying that he is here. I was like okay, I’m coming in a minute. He asked me why I need a minute, and he said that he needs to do two more deliveries until the end of the day. Also, my cake was placed on the car’s floor at the front where the passengers feet should be. Such an unprofessional guy. Cleanliness and sanitation on a zero level. We are talking about food for the god sake. He didn’t even open the car’s door to give me the cake. I needed to do that by myself and to close it after. He didn’t even bother to come outside and to give me the cake. I needed to take it by myself. Such an awkward experience to remember. Two stars only because their cakes are still delicious. But don’t buy small pieces (I’m talking about the things on display at the store). I was giving them chances couple of times before, but they are never fresh. From the other hand, we are constantly ordering cakes from them and they are always delicious. Just this time I am disappointed regarding the delivery and forgetting to write my husband’s name on the cake. Not sure if I’m returning again.

Wow...what an experience! I wanted something special for my parent's 65th wedding anniversary that featured their wedding day photo. Its easy to place your order online and pick up curbside. My mom can't stop talking about her anniversary cake.

It was my birthday and the cake is advertised as Chocolate Dream cake , yet I was very disappointed with the VERY THICK LAYER of buttercream. Even the chocolate cake was on the dry side, and totally not worth over $100! Everyone basically ate the inside part and left the thick buttery outside, which shouldn't be the case when you order such an expensive designer's cake! It is definitely not a chocolate cake! Even though it does look very nice from the outside and is professionally made, it is not what we expected. Will not be ordering here anymore.
Neveen N — Google review
I have previously bought cakes from Cake Royale and not experienced any problem but now when I had bought the cake for my mother’s birthday as I am in Ottawa for my college and my family lives in Mississauga, there was an issue. When my mother received it and they cut the cake she said it was almost as if it was frozen (as she was not able to cut a straight line) with water coming out of the cake sponge and the cake piece falling out with the rest of the cake not being able to cut it, too moist and damp and sent me various pictures and videos of it. I am very disappointed as I am far away and the cake I had gotten for her was not at all good. I have no clue what went wrong but I will ask for Cake Royale to please refund me or reimburse me somehow as the cake was not at all as guaranteed.

Was referred by a friend to try out Cake Royale. The staff were very friendly and quick to respond to my online order. The cake I ordered looked amazing!, it even came out better then the photo I had sent. Tasted delicious as well! Everybody loved it, and wanted to know who made it. I will defiantly order from you guys again! Thanks again!

I ordered the 'polka dot' cake online for my son's first birthday. The cake was soft, moist, and fresh. It had the perfect sweetness and I loved how well it was made. No hassle order and pick up, visually appealing, and great tasting cake!

My Cake Royale orders surpassed all expectations! Order and payment online in Australia for delivery in Mississauga, Canada was easy. Communication was prompt. Their cakes are amazing and presents more beautiful than the photos on website as does the taste. This time I ordered Berrylicious for my Aunty's birthday, and she told me everyone loved it. I highly recommend their gorgeous tantalising cakes and excellent service. Dhammika Pereira-Marland, Cairns, Australia.

I ordered a 10 inch designer marble buttercream frosted birthday cake with pearls, an edible photo and a fondant plaque saying happy birthday for a friend’s 70th. The online order process was seamless from start to finish. We chose to pick up the cake which was brought out to our car for us. The cake traveled perfectly in the box provided from Mississauga to a place nearby London Ontario. It was supposed to serve 15 to 25 people and it certainly did. It was fresh, moist and tasty…a big hit and worth every penny. I’m so glad I found this place and will definitely order again.

Baklawa King Inc., located in Mississauga, is a dessert paradise offering a wide array of Mediterranean sweets. Their specialty lies in traditional Baklava with a flavorful twist, alongside an assortment of other delectable treats. The shop boasts a tempting selection of Middle Eastern sweets, including crunchy Baklava and creamy kunafa. Visitors are treated to generous portions of high-quality desserts that are both delicious and light on the stomach.
10/10 experience here. The store is neat and they open early and the knafi is fresh and so delicious. You might need to call ahead to order larger quantities or sweets like 7alawit l jibin as they are prepared when ordered. Helpful staff and they offer so many lebanese and arab sweets here as well as coffee, cake, ice cream. Definitely recommend.

This place offers a great variety of baklava and cakes, all of which are fresh and delicious. However, I tried their latte and wouldn’t recommend it. There is a large seating area available.

The Baklawa King was a really good experience overall. The baklawa and other sweets were fresh, flavorful, and made with great quality—you can really taste the difference. The store has a welcoming atmosphere, and the team was very helpful and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. It’s definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy authentic desserts, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for delicious treats and excellent service. 🌟

A lovely location with delicious sweets. Suzanne was very helpful. I want to eat everything here, so so good! Of course, the beta being Knafeh, my favourite. Great vibes to sit down and enjoy, highly recommend it! Will come here over and over again.

This is our favourite source of baklavas and biscuits and although it’s a long drive from our home, we drive over at least twice a month to stock up on their delicious assortment of treats. I highly recommend Baklava King for their superior quality and taste, service and the ambiance of the store. When my mother was visiting recently and wanted to take back gifts of baklava, I drove her over to Baklava King and she selected eight different types of baklavas for each box although there is a selection of at least 15-20 different types. She reported back that our relatives loved them! 😊
Divya K — Google review
Perfect spot for quality Turkish coffee and baklava! I have tried many of their baklava, haven’t had a bad one yet! All taste freshly made and well balanced between the sugar and nuts. Turkish coffee is authentic and the boldness goes great with their treats. Don’t pass up on their kunafa, date mammouls or assabeh zainab either. Lots of luxurious seating makes you feel like royalty, staff are helpful and kind.
D M — Google review
I had been to the Dundas street location, so maybe my expectations were too high. I liked the decor and sit down restaurant. I purchased 12 baklava for take out and the server broke 1 stuffing them in to the box, I only discovered this when I got home. The treats were dry and stake, missing honey and rosewater.
Sunny D — Google review
I visited this restaurant today to have some dessert, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The dessert was not fresh, and the woman working there behaved in a very rude and unprofessional manner. She did not serve us at the table — I had to go and get the dessert and coffee myself. There was no food menu available, which made it difficult to know what options were offered. When I went to get the food, she spoke to me rudely and asked whether I would be paying now or later in an inappropriate tone. Overall, I was not satisfied with the quality of the food or the service. The staff clearly needs better training in customer service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the food freshness and staff behavior.

Tucked away in Rockwood Village, Cordi Italian Bakery is a delightful hidden treasure that every food lover should explore. This charming spot may be small, but it boasts an impressive array of large yet manageable pastries and breads that won't leave you feeling overwhelmed. If you're craving authentic Italian desserts, look no further than their delectable chocolate-dipped donuts and sugar twist treats—simple yet utterly satisfying. Cordi also offers hearty deli sandwiches packed with generous portions of meat, making them worth every penny.
Great place and quality foods. The donuts and cannoli are by far the best I have ever tried. I highly recommend this bakery.

Best donuts bar none. It is unfortunate that you should check your order every time. Ordered a certain number of donuts took them to a party only to find out I had been shorted 6. Pretty sure they will reimburse me.

Twist donut is delicious and so are the other things I tried. Limited review but I'll be coming back next time I'm in the area.
Paul D — Google review
I had a deli sandwich that seemed a little bit expensive until I realized it was absolutely loaded with meat. The pizza bun is massive and quite good. I'm pretty sure they gave me an extra cinnamon roll, again, stellar. But the pie... We got an apple pie that was a day or two old and discounted here we are two days after that eating it and it is still the best apple pie we have ever had, hands down. The crust is perfect and I don't even like crust. I wish I'd gotten more photos before we devoured everything to really do it justice. If you haven't been to this bakery your life is not complete and I weep for you.

This is the best bakery in ALL of Ontario.WOW. such an amazing selection of goodies. Im not really a sweets person but Crystal recommended I try the Cinnamon Bun. Ive never tasted something so soft and flavourful in my entire life. Melted in my mouth! I was amazed!! Thank you so Crystal for making my experience at Cordi bakery so outstanding! I will definitely be coming back to try more. I recommend this bakery to anyone looking for the best bakery in all of Ontario. Much better than the rude service I received at Daddy-O Donuts where the employees are so stuck up and rude and called me names just for asking questions about the menu. Thank you Cordi Bakery:)

This was my second time at this Italian bakery. It's best to go early in the morning because you'll get everything fresh. There were quite a few people there on an early morning week day. I tried a canoli and it was delicious! Customer service was good. I definitely suggest going here to check it out.

I love this bakery the staff there is very helpful and always greets you with a smile. I've tried a few of their baked goods and I have to say my favorite is the chocolate chip cannoli. I'd love to have rated them 5 stars but honestly, I feel like sometimes the wait is way too long sometimes you're just standing waiting for someone but they don't notice you. Now I understand they are busy overall it's always a treat going here.

UPDATE : In your first response to my review, you offered a refund along with a complimentary cake. However, after I communicated that I didn't need the cake anymore, your offer changed to a partial refund. Considering this, I have decided that I do not wish to pursue any further resolution. I will neither accept the cake nor the partial refund. At this point, I prefer not to engage in any further communication with you or your company. I hope that sharing my unpleasant experience will help others avoid similar disappointment for their special events. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been a loyal and dedicated customer of Irresistible Cakes (now iCakes) since 2002. Over the years, I have ordered numerous cakes for significant events, including my wedding, religious celebrations, New Year's Eve parties, and birthdays. Most recently, I ordered a cake for my 50th birthday, selecting a design from your website that read "Happy 50th Birthday Dom," assuming it would be similar to the cake displayed on the site, with the only change being the name. Upon receiving and opening the cake, I was appalled by its appearance. I cannot comprehend how any professional bakery would consider this final product acceptable for delivery to a customer. I am utterly disappointed and frustrated that my cake was served without any icing on top, as I felt compelled to scrape off the top layer due to its unappealing presentation. In light of this experience, I strongly believe that the individual responsible for creating and approving this cake should be held accountable and should not be involved in the production of any future cakes for your company. The quality of this cake is completely unacceptable.
Keith — Google review
My wife and I ordered a cake from Irresistible Cakes for a special event, providing them with a clear inspiration photo and specific details about the colours and design we wanted. To our shock and disappointment, the cake we received was nothing like what we ordered. Instead of using the inspiration photo as a guide, they simply copied and pasted the image directly onto the cake. Worse, the image was off-centre, and the additional decorative swirls they added were poorly executed—many were uneven, faded, or missing altogether. When we called to address the issue, we spoke to a gentleman who offered only a 10% discount, dismissing our concerns despite the fact that the cake was not what we asked for. This level of customer service was appalling, especially for a business charging premium prices. We left extremely disappointed and would absolutely not recommend this company. To make matters worse, the company has since taken their unprofessionalism to a shocking level. Instead of contacting us directly, they called my wife’s workplace in an attempt to intimidate us into removing our reviews. This behaviour is not just unprofessional but also invasive and harassing. It is completely inappropriate for a business to involve a customer's workplace in a private dispute, especially when they already have direct means of communication. Irresistible Cakes, if you want to resolve this situation, contact us directly. Stop harassing my wife’s workplace and take responsibility for your mistakes.

Aranay D — Google review
I was very disappointed with the service. I called to order an all white heart shaped cake and I asked if they could add white glitter in the icing and gold writing on the top. They said that they could and I also assured them that if they couldn’t do the glitter the same as the picture they could just leave it out. They sent an email confirming the details and I sent a picture to them for reference. When I went to get the cake there was gold glitter splashed on the top of the cake and when I asked them to make adjustments since I did not want that, they said “it’s buttercream cake not fondant so we cannot change and the cake decorator is gone”, I offered to come pick up the cake the next day and they said, “no he’s gone gone”. They were clearly just refusing to cooperate and talking to me like I’m an idiot and can’t spot terrible customer service. So I had to choose between taking a cake I did not like at all or leaving with no cake and lose 85 dollars. I have added pictures of the email confirmation, the reference picture, and the cake they gave me that looked like there was an ugly splotch in the center.

Dessert restaurant
D Spot Dessert Cafe in Mississauga Heartland has been delighting dessert lovers since 2014 with its creative and whimsical approach to sweets. This charming cafe is a haven for those seeking indulgent treats, from luscious strawberry ice cream to decadent cakes. With an impressive array of options, including ice cream served in bowls, waffles, crepes, or even blended into shakes, D Spot caters to every craving imaginable.
All the food was flavorful and the sweets were so rich and filling, all the halal options were so delicious and I enjoyed the hotdog, brisket cheese pizza and as well as the sushi crepes. The Latte was the perfect level of sweetness as well. The Kanafa explosion really hit my D spot I plan to return on my next trip to Ontario!

This was a pretty decent spot to grab dessert. There were a lot of options to choose from and many looked delicious. I got the pistachio latte which was good but I wish the flavour was a bit stronger (the milk flavour was stronger than the pistachio). The PB & ME skillet cookie was good but very rich and sweet. Especially with the addition of the chocolate shot. There is a lot of seating in the restaurant however, it gets crowded and very noisy fast, especially during the night. Overall, I would come back here to try different food/drink items.

Went here for my best friend’s birthday recently! It was not bad! Food and dessert were good! However the place is a bit small and wish we had a big table for our party instead of 2 separate ones. But regardless, would go here again for the dessert.

This dessert place is open late, has friendly service (Manvir), and a great spacious atmosphere. The menu includes a variety of options from waffles, crepes, milk bread, ice cream, cookies, and cakes. There is also a food menu that features hotdogs, pizza, and fries/poutines. I ordered the coffee toffee biscotti ice cream and my friend ordered the pistachio milk bread. Both tasted delicious. This place is pricey, but if you are looking for a gourmet dessert place, this place is "d spot" :)

Craving hit around 2 AM for dessert, and we found D-Spot Heartland open till 3 AM—lifesaver! The place was busy even that late, so we went for takeout. Ordered Heaven on Earth with Waffle. Staff were friendly and worked hard despite the rush—got our order in about 10 minutes. Packaging was really good and secure. Ice cream was delicious, but the waffle and toppings were just average. It didn’t fully meet my expectations, but still satisfied the craving. Overall, a decent late-night dessert spot!

Came to D Spot Dessert Cafe in Heartland and had an amazing time. This one's open till 3 a.m. The food is exactly what you want from a dessert and snacks settings...comfort eats to great desserts. The place has a nice ambiance, lots of space, and feels welcoming. Big thanks to our server Manvir for the great service, she was friendly and attentive throughout. Will be back for sure. Oh yes my top picks would be .. Brisket & Cheese Pizza Alfredo Pasta If you like some sweet fusion go for Hawaiian Burger Finally I simply loved the MilkCake-Pistachio! One more thing, there's plenty of water to go around and I had no trouble at all with this... Highly recommended

We were at this location to try their breakfast menu Ayush served us. He was the only one at this location at 10:30 am who prepared our food well. We ordered 6 different dishes and he prepared and served them all with in appropriate time. Appreciate his work and service. Thank you.

I recently visited this ice cream parlor and had a mixed experience. The food itself was decent, but I would only give it three stars. The matcha drink was not okay, it was just a vanilla shake without a matcha What really made the visit more enjoyable was the customer service. Our server, Kiran :) went above and beyond and easily deserves all five stars. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the visit and comforted me for the sad experiencewith the drink. Overall, I’d say the service carried the experience, but the food and fairness of pricing could definitely be improved.

Nestled on Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton, Grand Bakers is a delightful bakery that truly captivates the senses with its array of delectable baked goods. As you step inside, the warm and inviting aroma of freshly baked treats envelops you, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. This charming spot boasts an impressive selection ranging from artisanal breads to luxurious cakes and pastries.
I’m so happy that I came across this bakery in a google search. They answered my questions very quickly they even accommodated a dietary request at no extra cost even though I was willing to pay for it. I was given a sample of regular cupcakes that were better than grocery store ones. The situation was I needed custom cupcakes for a hockey dinner party and they came through and the cupcakes were amazing. The only reason for the 1 less star than perfect was the cake pops had a flavour that we didn’t recognize and it wasn’t a fan favourite… our next battle of Ontario party is near the end of January I will be recruiting them again and if any of y’all have a secondary dessert recommendation for the next time I’m happy to see some suggestions maybe grand bakery is too and we’ll get those instead. Our team won!!! I love this place and the people and the CUPCAKES!!! Thank you for helping us and for your talent ~ cheers

Extremely Disappointed – Stale and Overpriced (Rasmalai Cake)! I was really looking forward to this cake, but it was a huge disappointment. The cake was stale, dry, and tasted like it had been sitting out for days. It had no freshness, and the texture was hard and crumbly—not enjoyable at all. To make matters worse, the price was way too high for what I got. For something this expensive, I expected much better quality. Definitely not worth the money. I won’t be ordering again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Based on my experiences, Grand Baker's on Sandalwood in Brampton is an outstanding bakery that consistently delivers on both quality and value. Having used them three times now, I can confidently say they have never disappointed. Their pricing is very competitive, especially when you consider the exceptional craftsmanship and delicious taste of their cakes. Most recently, I ordered a custom cake for my baby sister's wedding. The final product was simply phenomenal—it far exceeded our expectations. The design was beautiful, and the cake itself was incredibly moist and flavorful. We had so many compliments from our guests, and it was all gone by the end of the night! A huge plus was the smooth delivery service to Toronto. It was seamless and professional, with the cake arriving in perfect condition and right on time. Grand Baker's is a gem, and I highly recommend them for any special occasion. Their commitment to stunning designs, delicious flavors, and reliable service is truly top-notch.

I have been coming to Bread and Salt Bakehouse for years, and it is always an awesome experience. The people who work at the bakery are so friendly and always willing to answer questions/help with your needs. My husband and I especially love their fatayer, manakeesh, almond croissants, halawet el jibn, baklawa, and Petite Fours. Everything is always fresh and flavourful.

Such a great spot for some tasty pide and treats. The pide was smaller than I expected but gives you the chance to try several different ones. This is the definition of a bakehouse. The pastry was soft and perfectly baked. Also had the Dubai croissant with the pistachio kataifi filling and the chocolate crusted top. This was several months ago and I didn’t em ever to make a review. But everything from what I remember was awesome. The cheese pide is my reco. Service was great too. Was always ready and willing to help get our order in and also explained what some items were and their recommendations as well. Parking is weird as it’s not really in a lot but just on the sides of the building and the adjacent building as well. Great job overall

Walking in here is a treat for the senses. The smell of fresh-baked goods is incredible! We were blown away by the baked goods smell! What really makes this place special, though, is the lovely staff. They're so warm and welcoming. A truly wonderful bake house! 🥐❤️

Syrian are famous about their good cusins but this restaurant was an absolute frustration. Food is below average specialy their fatayrs which are very small and expensive as well. Litrary one bite of cheese or meat fatyar. 4 of those equal one standard fatayr and I'm talking as a guy who has a middle eastern background so you can't fool me. One important thing as well, the customer service is terrible and doesn't really represent Syrians wellcoming people. The guy behind the bakery area doesn't greet or rply to you when you greet him. He smerks when you ask a question and just nock head. Very disrespectful and unprofessional staff.

DON'T GO, NOT RECOMMENDED. Honestly worst experience for us here in mississauga. We are visiting mississauga from B.C. so we are trying all the arab restaurants that we can. All that we have tried have been great, I came across this one on google while searching and was surprised on how good pricing and photos are. So we went to the place, we went to order BBQ kabba which was mentioned to be as $5 per piece but we were surprised when they said we had to buy a bag 6 PIECE and they wanted to charge us extra it came out to about $30. Then we were ordering their manhdi which was mentioned to be $35 for 5 people ( we are 5) the old grumpy guy said no it will be too little for you guys and started suggesting we get 2 chickens on top. We got 1 and we only eat about half and the chicken was not fresh at all so was the rice. We also order fatyer and they came burned so we had to ask for replacement. They didn't even give us spoons or plates until we asked for them. When we were about to leave we asked for a to go box and they said we don't have any. Overall, worse experience in mississauga when visiting next time will not be coming back, it doesn't seem like their going last for too long anyways with their horrible customer service and food.

We used Just temptations for our wedding cake. We live out of the country, and I was so nervous finding a good tasting cake, but this place was exactly what I wanted! We ordered a three-tiered cake. The flavors were white chocolate raspberry, red velvet, and white chocolate blueberry. I had a simple design with fresh flowers, and it was very reasonably priced. The cake was so delicious, and every guest raved about it! We plan on ordering a smaller size wedding cake next time we are in town because we loved it that much. The design was identical to the inspo photo I submitted (we smudged it taking it out the box), my family was blown away by the flavour, the red velvet was rich, soft and moist unlike any other red velvet cake we’ve ever had (and we love red velvet). Picking up was super easy, will definitely be ordering future cakes here!

I cannot begin to explain how amazing my experience has been with Little Rose Cookie Co. From the intake form, to the correspondence, to the design conversations, to the smooth delivery. Just impeccable service! The cookies we ordered for my daughter’s first birthday party were SO beautiful and absolutely delicious. It was such a special experience to be able to share the sweet treats with our family and friends. I cannot thank you guys enough for making the day so special!

Finally found the time to visit this shop after watching it on Instagram. As a cookie lover, I went in looking to try their stuffed cookies...I have some thoughts. Walked into the shop and its fairly tiny. You have employees working in every nook and crany working away at decorated sugar cookie orders, poor things. I was welcomed when i first walked in and the cashier was great at answering any questions that I had. Kudos. I decided to grab a six pack of their stuffed cookies for $22.50, along with their cinnamon bun version of Dunk-A-Roos for $6.50. I have tried more than my fare share of giant, stuffed cookies so I feel pretty qualified to know a good one from a bad one. I will say the first cookie I had, the Birthday Cake, was not the one - it was really dry and crispy and not that soft, chewy cookie that I was hoping for. Maybe it was more of a sugar cookie dough, but nonetheless, it missed the mark for me. I didn't want to leave a review off a potential bad cookie and was still holding out hope for something good. I dove into the Peanut Butter cookie and it truly redeemed the first one. It was soft, chewy, peanut buttery. The texture was much better so I was happy. Currently on the fence of coming back as I have been to cookie shops and ordered from companies online where every cookie just hit. Will update my review if my thoughts change as I dive into the rest. EDIT: The stuffed cookies were like rocks after sitting in the fridge overnight from the freezer - not something I have experienced with other stuffed cookies brands. Not for me.

Ordered custom sugar cookies for my spouse's birthday and could not be more happy with the experience! I had a specific image in my head on what I wanted, and Sabrina helped me through the process and was great at explaining my options. I ended up going for a paint-your-own with a custom sugar cookie designed to look like a clone trooper helmet (Star Wars) and it was better than I was expecting. Not only were they gorgeously decorated and delicious, they also allowed us to share the birthday experience with people later, simply by handing them a cookie bag and then sharing pictures once we were done. The pick-up was easy and smooth, and the staff inside the establishment were professional and friendly. Would 100% order from them again!

Such great service! I ordered a custom cookie kit for work, and they understood exactly what I wanted. The response time was great and then finalizing the order was super easy. Their online website order system turn around time for a reply is so quick! And most importantly BEST COOKIES! They bake the best sugar cookies. I also tried their iced caramel latte and defo one of the best I’ve had!

Had the absolute best experience with Little Rose Cookie Co.! Sabrina was an absolute angel and made the process of ordering my mum's 60th birthday cookies so easy. I inquired about custom cookies very last-minute, and though they understandably didn't have time to do custom decorations, she laid out all my options in detail (including printed edible cookies, which I went with). Couldn't have been happier with them, and all my mum's guests said they were delicious (and went back for more haha).
Shannon S — Google review
Tried a selection of sugar cookies from here and they were delicious! The cookie base and icing are not too sweet and well balanced. I particularly enjoyed the thickness of the sugar cookies. The decorations are beautiful and have a lot of detail in them. I also had a lemon cookie - which I want the biggest fan of the flavor, but the texture was good. I am excited to return to try other offerings next time as they have quite an extensive menu. I love the concept of the monthly drop cookie flavors and will check out what is on the menu in October!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beyond Five Stars: Exquisite Artistry and Service! We couldn't have asked for a better experience than we had with Little Rose Cookie Co. for our daughter and son-in-law's Woodland themed baby shower. Sabrina's customer service is truly outstanding. Her patience and responsiveness to my many detailed questions were so appreciated, making the ordering process seamless and stress-free. The icing artwork on the custom sugar cookies, cake pops, and adorable Birch tree sticks was simply stunning. As an artist, I was genuinely impressed by the beauty and precision of the designs—they brought our woodland vision to life perfectly! Every single item was delicious: the perfect flavor, the perfect texture, and they were so beautiful they were almost too lovely to eat! All the guests asked me for Little Rose Cookie Co. Info. Exceptional quality, excellent pricing, and a team that cares. Sabrina and her team's contribution to our special day was a significant highlight. We wholeheartedly recommend them! Thank you again to Sabrina and her team! Can’t wait for my next event just so we can have more of her delicious goodies! 🥰

I ordered a Hello Kitty cake for my daughter, and it was absolutely perfect—exactly what I was looking for! The design was spot on, capturing every detail beautifully. Not only did it look amazing, but it was also big, fresh, and packed with delicious fruit. Everyone loved it! The quality and attention to details were outstanding. I highly recommend Armeen’s cake for anyone looking for a stunning and delicious custom cake.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this place is more than deserving.. Have eaten a lot of cakes in my life, but Armeen’s comes out on top every time. I often get the gluten free cakes for myself and have yet to try a better one out there.. which, if you’ve tried gluten free products, you’ll know is impressive and not easy lol. The rest of my family get the regular cakes, and the Ferrero and chocolate fudge are to die for and never disappoint. Divine.

I ordered a red velvet cake for my daughter’s half birthday through Uber eats. I couldn’t find any option to add candles on Uber eats or DoorDash so I requested the cake shop to add a single small candle on the house if possible and they did not do that which was okay. But this cake costs 60 dollars and it tasted exactly like a grocery store cake which was not worth its price. The cake was dry, the cream was too thick and hence hard to swallow.

Nicole and her team did an exceptional job on our wedding cake. It was so delicious and it was done exactly how I envisioned it to be. She made our cake topper too and I'm so grateful for that! Got a tremendous amount of compliments on our 2 flavours, banana + cinnamon cream cheese filling and Hazelnut chocolate. Again, thank you so much, Nicole!

Nicole is the best in the business! Literally love her and her beautiful tasty cakes. It’s not the first or the last time we have gotten sweet treats from her and her work is always exceptional. This time I ordered pretty last minute and she accommodated me (thank you so so so much!) cake was for a birthday and turned out phenomenal as usual. Everyone loved the cake it was strawberry vanilla. Not too sweet or too heavy it was delicious and perfect! Will always recommend Nicole she’s the bomb!

I had the pleasure of taking a class with Nicole and also ordering a cake for my son's first communion. Firstly, the class was fantastic! Small group setting so you really feel like you're getting a one on one class. Nicole will walk you through each step (many times if she has to) so that you feel comfortable and confident. She provides tips and tricks on how she achieves the perfect looks for her cakes. 10/10 would recommend. Secondly, I ordered a cake for my son's first communion. Process was easy and I had no issues. I opted to pick up the cake from Nicole but on my way home (as careful as I was) the cake shifted and the top was slightly damaged. I messaged Nicole about how I should fix this as I do have some experience with cakes. She offered to fix the cake for me (taking time out of her busy schedule). I was blown away by her thoughtfulness, kindness and professionalism. I couldn't ask for better service. Oh and the cakes were delicious!! Soft, moist and not overly sweet (we had vanilla, vanilla with strawberries and red velvet).

We recently celebrated our dog Ranger’s first birthday with a special blue ombre cake, and it was absolutely a hit! From the moment we laid eyes on the cake, we knew it was going to be something memorable. The ombre effect, with its stunning gradient from light blue to deep navy, was just beautiful with the perfect touch of doggy paws to climb up the cake. It not only looked fantastic but also felt so personal and unique—there was no mistaking it was Ranger's cake. The texture was soft and the cake itself was moist. It was absolutely decadent and not too overwhelmingly sweet like some chocolate cakes can be. It was gentle on the palette but also left a lasting impression. Nicole was so thoughtful in advising us the care we should take to bring the cake back home safely. She also let us know other small details of the cake that made it very worth while ordering a custom cake for our dog's first birthday. We highly recommend Nicole and Lipstick Baker for their great service, excellent and creative designs and overall, best-tasting cake we've ever had!

Nicole is a master decorator and artist. I’ve ordered my baby shower cake and now that kid turned 5 and she brought his birthday cake vision to life! Anyone can make the buttercream basic cakes, but I wanted all the elements edible and Nicole delivered with incredible fondant trucks, rocks, crane details and delicious buttercream! The strawberries cream cake was also so good people kept going back for more!

I'm glad I found Lipstick baker when I was helping my brother plan for his wedding. The cake was delicious, but what really impressed me was the team's ability to make the wedding planning process less stressful. Nicole/Julie guided us all throughout - letting us know what kind of cake would be best (size, design, and kind of frosting) for the wedding. This made the decision process really easy. We just showed the team a few inspiration pictures for the cake and the team delivered. The cake turned out amazing and the bride could not be happier with the way it turned out. Julie and Nicole were also always quick to respond!

I consulted with many bakeries for my sister’s baby shower before ordering a cake from this one. As someone who works in the hospitality and events industry, I have had the chance to try a variety of cakes and pastries; and was impressed with the care and service provided by the Lipstick Baker Team! Our families devoured the cupcakes instantly and were in awe of how beautiful the cake was. Aside from the phenomenal presentation, the cake was delicious, and the buttercream frosting was light, creamy and addicting. The ordering process ran smoothly, as Julie was very professional and responsive via email. A trusted bakery for custom cakes, I highly recommend this business to many people.

I’ve been coming to Irene’s Celebrity Cakes since the day she opened and I’m always pleased with the quality of her baking and baked goods. My nieces have gotten their wedding cakes here & they were just spectacular. It’s my “go to” bakery. Recently, ordered a specific cake for a bachelorette party and my oh my, breath taking & superbly delicious! Look at this masterpiece! The bride was speechless. 🤩. Thank you Irene! Always a happy customer, Lucia.

The cold coffee was perfectly refreshing and paired beautifully with our treats. The service was exceptional - attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambiance strikes just the right balance, creating a comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying great food and conversation. Everything about this place screams quality, from the food to the service to the overall experience. I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their offerings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for outstanding pastries and a pleasant dining experience.

Walked over to grab a quick snack before lunch and ended up grabbing a slice of pizza. It wasn’t bad for what it was and it did the job. There were a lot of sweets and cakes that looked delicious and dangerous but ended up not grabbing anything. The almond cookies were ok but too sweet and lacking almond flavour. I’m sure their cakes are amazing as they looked beautiful.

Irene’s Celebrity Cakes created the most gorgeous cake for our friends’ anniversary, and we were overjoyed with the results! Irene is so attentive and clearly passionate about her craft. She captured our idea perfectly and brought it to life with such elegance and detail. The cake was not only classic and stunning to look at, but also moist, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We received so many compliments. We’re so very grateful and will definitely be returning for future celebrations!

Recently ordered our wedding cake from Irene’s and I just want to say the service was 10/10, I had gotten quotes from 6 other bakeries for a round sgfolia but Irene and team were so accommodating and lovely to deal with! On a personal note, if Irene says to do the chantilly filling, listen and do the chantilly filling 😂. I didn’t and decided to go with Crema pasticciera which I don’t regret but I think the chantilly is much lighter and would’ve been perfection! The cake photographed so well, it was a beautiful touch to your wedding, thank you!

We just picked up 24 cupcakes today April 26th around noon for my sisters bridal shower. We normally go here for events and it is the first time the cupcakes were ruined. Very disappointing. The staff who placed the cupcakes inside the box did so recklessly. When we got inside the car we double checked to make sure they were okay. All the cupcakes were tipped over to the side touching one another and we had to fix them in the box correctly so that they would not touch. These pictures are from when we arrived home after already fixing it but there was already damages done to a couple cupcakes. Next time the staff needs to do a better job with carefully packaging the cupcakes.

Diana Pasticceria Cafe is a delightful treasure tucked away in Mississauga, Ontario, where the essence of Italy comes alive through its exquisite pastries. This charming bakery is not only known for its authentic Italian treats but also for creating a warm and welcoming ambiance that invites you to linger. From traditional cannoli to rich tiramisu and freshly baked bread, every bite at Diana Pasticceria transports you straight to Italy.
Great spot! It’s a hidden gem in Mississauga. Good espresso and fresh pastries. I’ve been 5+ times for a coffee and a cannoli and been satisfied every time. Being raised in a traditional Italian household and living in Mississauga my whole life I’ve tried many different European bakery’s (particularly Italian and Portuguese) in the area spanning from Oakville all the way to downtown Toronto on College St. This is a great spot and compete’s with or is better than some of the more well known spots. My wife is from South America, so I’ve had the chance to have coffee from many different countries on my travels as well. Diana Pasticceria particularly stands out to me for the coffee bean they use. The espresso is great. It’s smooth, bold and not overly bitter. They have a good machine and the service is good too, it’s an Italian bakery. You order what you want and you’re on your way. I was reading some of the other reviews…It’s not a 5 star restaurant. Don’t expect 5 star restaurant service. That’s not what this place is, it’s a bakery and a very good one.

This place is a hidden gem!! The staff are very warm and welcoming, knowledgeable on their pastries and make delicious lattes! I was very amazed by the taste and freshness of the pastries we got. If you want an authentic Italian cafe experience, this is the place to go!!

I can't say enough good things about Diana Pasticceria Cafe and Maria's incredible cakes. Maria bakes each cake fresh on the day of the event, using no fondant but instead fresh cream and fresh custard. Her fruit custard filling is simply the yummiest, and her cakes are not excessively sweet, which we appreciate. We've had the pleasure of enjoying Maria's cakes on three occasions: a friend's gender reveal, my husband's birthday, and most recently, a dino-themed cake for 35 people for my son's 4th birthday. Each time, Maria has exceeded our expectations with her beautiful and delicious creations. Maria is extremely punctual and reliable. Her prices are competitive, making her cakes an excellent value for the quality and care she puts into each one. Five thumbs up to Maria and Diana Pasticceria Cafe. She doesn't disappoint!

Went when it was quiet and staff was very delightful, but had a great cappuccino and latte. The cake was delicious too.

I was craving some veal sandwich and this was one of the closest places nearby for lunch. I went in and the lady working was super nice! The place was clean but sorta empty/vacant which I imagine is due to Covid. I got a Veal Sandwich and it tasted pretty good. The price was great as well and not as expensive as some other similar places - at least for the veal sandwich. Would recommend for sure.

Bakery
Valerio's Tropical Bake Shop, despite its misleading name associated with the Caribbean, is actually a Filipino bakery that pleasantly surprises its customers. The lack of proper labeling on their numerous delectable options makes it challenging for non-Filipinos to decide on a purchase. However, the vast array of mouthwatering treats at the cashier counter tempts one into impulse buying. The bakery's diverse range of bread overwhelms first-time visitors, leaving them spoilt for choice.
The best filipino bakeshop in Mississauga area! I love their freshly baked pandesal and cheese rolls. There’s always something for everyone. Staff are friendly and store is well-stocked. Highly recommended.

Entering this bakery makes you want to eat everything you see, but with your eyes. But the line was so long that it was impossible to wait in line to buy. I was left wanting more. But it seems to be very exquisite.
Natu R — Google review
This bakery feels like home in North America. It has a Filipino bakery vibe that invokes Filipino taste. Their cheese bread and pandesal is the best and it’s always a staple whenever I go to Seafood City in Toronto

My fave filipino bakery! Love the friendly vibe of all Filipina staff too! Great location!

Been searching for bread that taste like home! And i found it here in Valerios! A must try! Affordable and delicious. Craving satisfied po talaga! Ang babait pa ng mga staff.

Amazing Filipino baked goods. Smells amazing right when you walk in. Always great to get in touch with my Filipino roots through delicious Filipino food. My only negative is the prices. A little on the higher side in comparison to other bakeries I’ve been to.
Dustin F — Google review
Been coming for a while now and for the second time I was in line the cashier took the order from the person behind. For some reason if you don’t speak Tagalog or if you’re a non-Filipino you get friendlier service. I spent good money too I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.

First time visiting a Filipino bakery! Lots of options to choose from, and the prices all reasonable

Bakery
Carlos Bakery, the renowned establishment founded by "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro, has made its mark in Port Credit, Canada. This charming bakery is a haven for dessert lovers, offering an impressive selection of treats including cookies, cannoli, and stunningly elaborate cakes. Visitors can indulge in signature delights like the vibrant rainbow cake slice or savor authentic cannolis that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The atmosphere is inviting and perfect for those looking to enjoy a delightful treat on-the-go.
I came here today for the first time and it was a pleasant breakfast. Clean and tidy. I had the prosciutto arugula sandwich with mozzarella cheese which was amazing and my partner had a regular pepperoni pizza which was also good. We had chocolate dipped strawberries which were delicious, and the chocolate was fresh. They have tee-shirts and tea cups that you can purchase and also have 2 spots where you can take photos. The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. It was a wonderful experience and I would go again. I definitely recommend this place.

All the pastries and pizza in here look so good. You can get pizza by the slice here. Sometimes the pizza slices tastes a little stale. The pepperoni cup and char is so of the best you can find. So good. There are some tasty gelato flavours sold here too. The interior design is so nice. Patio available too. The staff are super friendly. Kitchen is fast and Prices are okay. The pasta here looks so good and the portion are okay though the prices are kind of high. No credit card surcharge.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Was super excited to finally come to Carlo's after being a fan of the show and hearing about the delicious cake vending machines in my neighborhood. I bought the strawberry shortcake which was a bit dry but had fresh whipped cream. Sadly, I've had better from an Italian grocery store. I also bought my hubby the fudge cake and he also said he's had better. The store is clean and beautiful and the patio has a nice ambiance but everything is overpriced, including the $50 t-shirts. Employees weren't rude but also weren't friendly. Really not worth the price or drive.

I had a pleasant experience at Carlo’s Bakery. I often visited their location in Hoboken, New Jersey so I was really excited to visit their first Canadian location. Thankfully they were not busy at the time I visited. When I entered the staff was very friendly and I believe I was greeted and directed on where to go from a manager/supervisor. The products are on the pricey side. The lobster tail and cheesecakes were $9.99 each. The pizza slices were just under $5 per slice. I purchased from both the sweet and savoury counter. The pizza and sandwiches were nice. The cheesecake and cupcakes were also decent, nothing spectacular. I think I enjoy the goods at my local bakery better. It was nice to try and say, been there, done that. Wishing them lots of success tho!

Decided to visit this celebrity cake shop after seeing those cake vending machines everywhere. The bakery was very spacious and clean. Had lots of cakes, snacks, ice cream, even a pizza section. I noticed they have a big patio which is great to enjoy an expresso/coffee or a dessert. The ambiance is good and aesthetically pleasing. Friendly and patient staff. Tried the rainbow cakes but the icing was so ridiculously Sweet that I couldn't even eat it. Kind of disappointed.

This was are first time buying the birthday cake from Carlo’s Port credit. We ordered it 2 weeks in advance and we preferred Strawberry shortbread cake . Cake was awesome and my wife loved it. It was so fresh and soft. Its tasted really good , taste which we were looking for. It was filed with fresh strawberries and for the price this cake was worth it. We will highly recommend this bakery!
Mukesh S — Google review
Very cute bakery and a lot of selection of goodies. We tried the lobster tails (vanilla & hazelnut) and they were delicious (worth a try)! And we also got a chocolate chip cookie. It was pillowy soft and quite tasty. The cakes & cupcakes look good too, but we didn't try any of that. It is quite expensive though for what you get. Feels more like you're paying for the name than for a quality baked good. Plus side is there's quite a bit of (free) parking behind the store, which isn't usual for Port Credit! Great location! Might be back to try some cake...

This is a very nice hangout spot for couples and family. Seating is very limited so take out is your best option. The ambience of this place is amazing!! The ice creams, pizza, and cakes are all too good. Just didn't like the vanilla cupcake a lot, it was like any other and a bit too sweet. Overall, a must try if you are around port credit.
