The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown is a must-visit for baseball enthusiasts, showcasing over 38,000 artifacts and featuring a Hall of Fame plaque gallery. The town itself offers charming attractions like the Fly Creek General Store and the historic Fly Creek Cider Mill. Visitors can also explore cultural treasures throughout Cooperstown and Otsego County, including The Farmers' Museum and historic sites like Hyde Hall.
This was my first time to the Hall of Fame and it was an incredible experience. It wasn't too busy, which was nice, but the whole place was extremely well organized and even if there were more people, I don't think it would have been an issue. The hall itself was magical, so much greatness in one place. But the entire place was incredible. The incoming Hall of Famers were very well represented. I loved the bobble head exhibit, along with the baseball card exhibit. There were plenty of interactive spots throughout the museum which was very entertaining for people of all ages. I loved how diverse their exhibits were from women's baseball, international baseball, little league baseball and one of the coolest things was the video they showed. It was extremely well done. The gift shop also had EVERYTHING. I honestly wish I could give this more than 5 stars. It was an incredible experience all around. If you are a baseball fan, plan to spend a number of hours wandering this beautiful place.

Very nice museum. My baseball loving family had a great time especially my husband and son. I found some of the items and information interesting as well. My daughter also found some things interesting. It's a beautiful and well kept museum. A lot of great baseball items for all fans. I do wish they had a few more interactive things specifically geared towards kids, but the few things they had my kids enjoyed. Parking is in public lots or you can use the trolley system to park further out of town. Tickets can be bought online or at the museum. People working were great and very nice.
Amanda A — Google review
What an awesome experience if you’re a baseball fanatic! So much history to see and more! I would expect to spend at least 1-2 hrs here. There is a 17 film they have at certain times you watch then walk around the exhibit. You can purchase different types of books from the library and then there is a huge area for the gift store with plenty of selection!
Brad M — Google review
A great time if you are a fan of baseball and the history of how it came to be. They had a lot of exhibits dedicated to what you would expect. But also plenty dedicated to women in baseball, how other countries and cultures have contributed to the sport, and acknowledge the good and the bad that baseball has faced. Very interactive museum. All of the floors have bathrooms. There are stairs and escalators. Watch the movie they play. There are tours of the plaque room or you can wander on your own. Staff announce when these will happen. The staff are very helpful and if you have questions ask them. Plan to spend at least two hours or more here. They do not have their own lot for parking, but you can park at the Doubleday Field lot and walk down.
Kelsey — Google review
Definitely a bucket list visit! I was attending a conference in Syracuse and made the incredibly beautiful drive to Cooperstown and 99% of it didn't disappoint! I love seeing all the plaques, the displayed memorabilia was amazing and there was even game use memorabilia from this year! My only disappointment was how small and minimalistic the baseball broadcasters hall of fame display is. Honestly it's an embarrassment!
Greg L — Google review
We stopped at the National Baseball Hall of Fame on our way to Bar Harbor, Maine. We camped at Glimmerglass State Park, which is highly recommend! The museum was pretty decent. My preference would have been for the design to have been the history of baseball in a more chronological order before splitting up varying exhibits. It just didnt flow. The exhibits themselves were great. My biggest criticism might be that you have to go back all the way to the beginning to go to the gift shop. Again, a flow problem. Fortunately, most of the actual town is a gift/souveneir shop.

If you are near Cooperstown, you have to come !!! All the players you have heard about all your life are here .. nearly 150 years of baseball in one building .. The biggest tip I can give you is to come on a Tuesday or Wednesday .. the crowds are so crazy on the weekends .. parking can be a bear to fine on the weekends also .. that said , the staff are so helpful and very nice . Any questions at all, they will try to find an answer.. the bathrooms can be a bit hard to fine, plus the handicap elevators were not working, but we used the employees' elevators. The people move fairly well and very respectful of each other .. no food or drink inside the hall for everyone safety.. we had a wonderful time to top off a great week ..
Rick M — Google review
I finally made my pilgrimage and it lived up to my expectations. I visited in November, so there wasn't a crowd, but there also wasn't much to do it town. Perfect for a visit centered around the hall itself.

Nestled in the charming town of Cooperstown, Stagecoach Coffee is a delightful coffee roaster and espresso bar that offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for unwinding. With its inviting hardwood floors and upbeat tunes, this spot feels like a breath of fresh air. Patrons rave about the scrumptious sandwiches, particularly the fresh panini, alongside an impressive selection of coffees, ice creams, smoothies, and pastries that cater to all tastes.
Needed a little pick me up and I am always in the mood for a great coffee shop. Service was great and excellent Carmel macchiato. The desserts looked so good I took one to go.

Had a really excellent lunch in Cooperstown. I was impressed by the selection of sandwiches, wraps, and paninis. Got the best turkey and cheese panini that came with a side salad. The ingredients were so fresh. In the bake of the shop is a small patio where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine on a sunny day. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The baked goods looked amazing and I will be sure to be back next time I’m out visiting this summer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Vincent P — Google review
Friendly service and interior was clean and had character. Ordered the house panini which was lacking tomatoes. One thin slice(less than 3" diameter) on each half of a sandwich isn't cutting it when the first item in description is tomatoes. Frankly, two slices per half isn't adequate. The tomato isn't a garnish. The sandwich didn't have an abundance of mozzarella and pesto to make up for the lack of tomato. Not a whole lot of anything here.
W.S. C — Google review
Great stop for coffee and treats! The oatmeal was tasty with nice add-in options, and the iced mocha was solid. We also tried the tiramisu, which was a nice treat. Definitely worth popping in if you’re in the area.

We came during the off season, moreover later in the day (around 4pm), so we were the only customers. Service was prompt and curteous. The drink selection was broad with classic cafe staples, soft drinks, and a seasonal menu. They also offer breakfast sandwiches until 11, as well as lunch sandwiches and paninis, and there is a broad selection of baked goods. There is indoor and seasonal outdoor seating. The music was a little off and killed the vibe a little bit.

We went here every morning while staying in Cooperstown. The BEST variety for breakfast sandwiches. We tried the Lox, the pastrami, the veggie burrito, the bagel with sausage and the croissant with bacon! Can’t go wrong!!

Stopped at the stagecoach for breakfast. I got a breakfast wrap and Nolan a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The French toast creme brulee bread pudding is fantastic!!

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or just to meet up with friends. Their staff is very friendly. They also make a decent bagel, make a very good coffee drink and crowded or not, bring your food in reasonable amounts of time. If you need egg whites instead of eggs, they'll gladly make them for you. If you don't see what you want from their menu, they will attempt to accomodate you. You'll have the option of sitting indoors, outdoors, or taking your order out. Best of all, you'll find your purchase satisfying and worth your visit.

5/5 Stars – A Cozy, Honest Breakfast Spot in the Heart of Cooperstown We had a wonderful breakfast at Doubleday Café and walked away genuinely impressed with the entire experience. It’s a charming, welcoming spot right in the heart of town—clean, friendly, and refreshingly down-to-earth. It feels like one of those places that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t try too hard, which is part of the appeal. The service was warm and efficient without being overbearing. We were seated quickly, coffee came fast, and our meals were out in a reasonable time—even with a healthy morning crowd. I ordered an omelette, and it was just right: perfectly cooked, with fresh ingredients and a good balance of flavor. It’s easy for a simple breakfast dish to be forgettable, but this one hit all the right notes. One thing we really appreciated was the pricing. With so many tourist-heavy spots around, it’s easy to expect a bit of sticker shock—but not here. Everything felt fairly priced, especially considering the quality and the location. Overall, the vibe of the place is what will bring us back. It’s laid-back but thoughtful, and it has the kind of energy that makes you want to linger just a little longer over your coffee. Whether you’re heading to the Hall of Fame or just looking for a solid breakfast in Cooperstown, Doubleday Café is a great choice. Highly recommend stopping in—you won’t be disappointed.

Although we had lived about 20 miles from cooperstown for 9 years, we did not visit that often, and especially avoided it during high baseball season. The season hysteria was over so we went out, primarily so my wife could swim in Lake Otsego. We decided to go into town for a late breakfast. We were told the Doubleday Cafe had breakfast all day. WRONG. But we stayed for lunch. We both had a turkey BLT. (Photo of mine after I took a few bites). I liked it. My wife did not care for hers. We took the leftovers home and I finished them. Service was great. I would go back but can only speak for myself.

I ordered the grilled prime rib melt w sharp cheddar cheese & crispy fried onions on a toasted hard roll; sides of roasted garlic aioli w fries and the picture is the result of me writing this. It was brutal and absurdly delicious, definitely more than I was expecting. I would eat that sandwich 100 days in a row, the quality of the rib is very superlative. I loved the vibe place too! They are doing their job well, Im glad for that 🫶🏼

Excellent! Wonderful! Authentic pancakes. I asked that they use real butter when they pan fry them so its healthier, and they gladly obliged! Quality place and ingredients and great service. 👍

The place had a cool vibe and was packed for lunch even though the rest of Main Street was empty. The Reuben was really interesting, with finely shredded corn beef.
Richard H — Google review
We had dinner at Doubleday Cafe October 18, 2025. It is easy to find on the historic, picturesque Main Street. It was the best Reuben sandwich we have ever eaten. Rebecca, our server, was very friendly and energetic. She explained the corned beef and whole turkeys are cooked right there in the cafe's kitchen. We wished we could have eaten there the next day to try the turkey. We had tried to get seated at several other restaurants outside of town and were glad they were full once we discovered Doubleday Cafe. Try it. You will not be disappointed!

Diner
Breakfast restaurant
The Cooperstown Diner is a small, but family-owned and -operated diner that specializes in big burgers and hearty comfort food. They serve breakfast all day, and their jumbo burgers are a local favorite. The diner is located in the small town of Cooperstown, NY.
The waitress Jennifer is wonderfully comfortable, warm and welcoming. The place is great! Definitely beats that uppity places down the block! We were literally moaning with delight At my full Breakfast with all the trimmings. Refills on excellent coffee. Menu options include quiche and avocado toast!

Excellent food at reasonable prices with acceptable service. Serves breakfast all day. I had two eggs over easy with toast. The eggs done correctly with runny yoke and cooked egg white. There was one server covering this small diner. He was fast and able to provide acceptable service.

I had the biscuits and gravy, I am extremely picky when it comes to biscuits and gravy. And it was the best I've had in a super long time. The cooked a great job. And the server was very attentive even though she was so busy. Highly recommend it.
Martin D — Google review
Although we lived fairly close for 10 years, we have never gone in the diner and only visited the baseball hall once . We avoided cooperstown in the summer . With the hysteria over we decided to visit. My wife likes to swim in Lake Otsego and we stay at the Lake View when we come out this way . We did a take out at the diner. I took out a burger and fries and my wife did a fish fry. As I Sit here and look at the lake and write, we have not eaten. The burger looks good for later. We did not have to wait long to order as it was close to the closing time. I do not think that is the way it is earlier. The Diner is an icon of Cooperstown. We may stop in for a breakfast tomorrow on our way home .
Prof. J — Google review
The small size and novelty were fun, but the food my wife and I got was unremarkable and makes this place a one-and-done for us.
Richard H — Google review
It is small but the service is quick. If you order the burger it takes a few extra minutes. It is the thickest burger I have ever seen. I could barely fit it in my mouth. You will make new friends at the counter. Which is a table shaped and positioned like a diner counter.
James M — Google review
Such a cute diner. Our waitress was very busy, as the diner was full. I think she said her name was Charolette or Sharnett- either she was very kind. She made sure we always had coffee, and recommended we have the Georgia Eggs. So glad we did they were out of this world. My nephew loved the kids breakfast. We can’t wait to go back. I can’t believe we waited this long to stop- as we come to Cooperstown couple times a year. I think our server said the diner has been open for over 100 years.
C H — Google review
Don't be fooled by the charm of a cute little place from the outside. Menu is very limited and pedestrian, so you'd think what little they do would be done right. Pancakes were rubbery served with cold syrup and cold, hard butter. The omelette was extremely overcooked, which was evident by the brown outside of it. The only thing good was the toast, which they actually put enough butter on. Sadly the food wasn't the worst part. Our waitress, a heavy set gal, could be seen in the kitchen eating. Once she served our food, we never heard from her. The place is tiny, so she was literally standing right next to us, and there weren't many people in there. I never got a refill of coffee, nor were we ever asked if everything was OK. And when I finally said "excuse me", she gave me a look like I was bothering her. I asked for a box and my refill of coffee, which I never got, to go. She slammed an empty paper cup in front of me, and said nothing. Came back in a few minutes and filled it. Never said thank you, you're welcome, have a nice day, or anything. I actually don't think she said a single word the whole time. Extremely rude. Worst service during our 6 days in Cooperstown.

Bakery
Schneiders Bakery is a bakery located in Cooperstown that specializes in pastries and donuts. The bakery has been around for over 27 years, and its desserts are always popular with locals. Some of the bakery's most well-known items include sugar cookies decorated with baseball-themed frosting, donuts, cinnamon buns, and blueberry muffins.
Super tasty!! We tried everything from their famous old fashions, to cinnamon rolls, sprinkle donuts, their famous chocolate & vanilla bottoms, to cinnamon donuts filled with apples and another with raspberry. 😃 My favorites were the apple filled and raspberry filled cinnamon donuts. Their iced coffee was super good too. There is no Starbucks or anything like that in Cooperstown, so I’d say their coffee was probably my favorite.
Paul H — Google review
From the moment my husband and I walked into the bakery I was in heaven. The smell of the freshly baked goods was amazing- I wish I could keep it in a bottle!! Ian was there to greet us and we found out he is the owners son. He was helpful, appreciate and extremely patient as I didn’t know what to choose!! He recommended the fresh pizza that had just come out of the oven. I was thinking cinnamon roll at the time…soo.. I got the pizza and we took a dozen cookies, some fritters and my cinnamon roll home to eat later. The pizza was the bomb! So crispy and the fresh bread it was on was amazing. Sauce too! The decorated sugar cookies are amazing too! Tasty and acutely decorated! Also couldn’t leave without a half moon cookie. I’d be 300 pounds if I lived in town. We were just passing though and I’m so glad we went in. My lumberjack latte was amazing too. Ian took the time to explain the family history of the store as well three generations of his family running it since 1887!! His step dad really comes in at 2 am to make everything fresh too! I would most definitely stop in if you’re in town! If you’re a local I’m pretty sure you already know this!
Wendy M — Google review
Bakery with cookies, donuts, cakes and coffee. The cookies and donuts were good but coffees were lacking in size and flavor. We got a frosted sugar cookie, bluberry donut, and a nutrer butter sandwich cookie. One of the ice coffees was supposed to have pumpkin but tasted like just caramel. Free p8arking can be hard to find but there's plenty of paid parking available.
Steven Q — Google review
We made a quick stop at this bakery to grab some cookies and donuts—and wow, the moment we walked through the door, we were hit with the most incredible smell. It was pure sugar heaven... I joked that just breathing it in gave me diabetes (in the best way possible)! We picked up a variety of treats and brought them to a family reunion where everyone contributed a dish. Midway through the gathering, someone suggested we vote on our favorite food item just for fun—and to our surprise (and delight), the cookies from the bakery won by a landslide. We weren’t even trying to compete, but they stole the show. Needless to say, we’ll be back. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was warm, and the baked goods were absolute crowd-pleasers. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. Your taste buds will thank you.
Kevin A — Google review
On our way out of town, we made a quick stop and I went in to Schneider's bakery for a few donuts. Great selection but I chose a few regular donuts. Hopefully with a little less sugar. They smelled great and I am sure they will taste good. My wife does the smart thing and stays in the car. And also refrains from eating any. I wish I could do the same thing. Oh well.
Prof. J — Google review
Nice bakery, but the cinnamon buns were flavorless aside from the sugar blast from the glaze. It was basically a glazed donut, but shaped differently. Avoid until they have future versions evaluated by someone from the International Consortium of Cinnamon Bun Experts. I am the president of the organization. Try using some cinnamon.
Doug K — Google review
Just an old school classic bakery. The donuts are what I came for, but honestly think I mostly enjoyed the cinnamon roll the most. The donuts weren't bad by any means just weren't the qualities of soft, fluffy, or flavorful that I look for. The cinnamon roll just the icing and the filling that gave it the flavor needed.

Cooperstown Mt.Fuji sushi restaurant is a hidden gem in Cooperstown, offering an oasis of delicious Japanese cuisine. The dishes are prepared with precision and served promptly, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. Their tempura bento box is particularly outstanding, featuring delicate and perfectly fried pieces. The accompanying dumplings and cooked sushi are equally delectable, while the preceding miso soup hits all the right notes.
Sushi was especially good, and the portion sizes were just right. Service was attentive without being overbearing. It’s a clean, cozy place with a relaxed vibe. Just wish more folks were around to elevate the atmosphere Sunset Roll, Thunder roll, and a few house rolls.

The portions were smaller from the other Mt. Fuji's we have been to, however super tasty. Service was fast and courteous.

Delicious sushi! Great service. Small but intimate little place with outdoor seating right in the center of Cooperstown downtown. Walking distance from The Hall of Fame. A MUST TRY!!!!
Monica M — Google review
I searched Main Street Cooperstown up and down looking for a good place to eat for lunch for my family when I walked by Mt Fuji sushi and decided to give it a try. My 9 year old son loves sushi, and he ordered a Bento box and loved it. The food was really good but in my opinion a bit overpriced, probably because of the tourist trap that is known as the Baseball Hall of Fame. Outside there's a menu that people can look at before they go in. Inside the restaurant it was really clean and the service from the staff was excellent. There are bathrooms available and the dining areas were very clean. The food was really good and fresh and you can eat indoors, outdoors and you can even order ahead for a quick pickup. This is a good choice for lunch or dinner and you won't be disappointed. I rate this place 4 stars and not 5 because of the price to pay for some seafood.

Great tasting sushi. Only downside is the bad pop/rap J/K pop music… it’s just not my style will return for sure but would like some cozier music.

An Oasis in Cooperstown. The food came out very quickly, 5-10 minutes from my order. Their tempura bento box was excellent! Each piece was delicately fried. The accompanying dumplings and sushi (cooked) were delicious! The preceding miso soup was exactly on point and the meal finished with an elegantly cut orange. The chicken teriyaki (hibachi) was seared, yet juicy and tender. Perfect. On top of everything, the experience felt authentic. The service was extremely friendly, and the presentation of each meal was elegant and careful. I am so glad I stopped in!

I had the B.A.T. and the waiter recommended adding cheese and Avocado. That might have been the best sandwich I ever ate. Next time in Cooperstown, I will be back. Fast forward 6 months and I now been back 20 times at least. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

I give them an A for effort. The waitress tried to vegan-ize an item or two on the brunch menu (besides salad & fries), but the chef ultimately failed and I left. There were a quite a few Mexican dishes offered, but when a restaurant adds eggs to its flour tortillas, out go options for cruelty-free dining. Cute place Disappointing options.

Great dinner. Every dish was carefully thought out and delicious. Accommodated our large party with ease and the waitress was helpful and efficient. Restaurant
The HardBall Café is a popular restaurant in Cooperstown that annually hosts the entire baseball team. It consistently provides exceptional hospitality and delectable cuisine. The extensive menu offers a wide variety of dishes at reasonable prices. Visitors to Cooperstown can confidently recommend this establishment due to its welcoming atmosphere, tasty food, and excellent service.
The food was great! My waiter was very sweet and felt like the service was normal considering it was pretty busy. Our setting was great. Got a great view of the town and lots of people watching to do!

Oh my god so good! I SCARFED down the food before I could take a photo… Oh my god!!! Service was 10/10, hats off to everyone here. Pretzels were amazing. They offered me extra sauces without me needing to ask, wow, this exceeded my expectations by miles, and I was expecting a lot! Hats off to Sarah as the best bartender ever. Waitress Megan was so kind. I felt like family. A shame I live in Texas. Was in town for the baseball tournament with my husband, wow. Love him. Fairly priced food and he paid for it, what a gentleman.

This place is not very good at all. Much better places around for cheaper! I would not go back to this place $23 for a small wrap with 4 onion rings . They nickel and dime you . Extra charge to use your credit card. 2 thumbs down for this place

Do not waste your money at this place. Awful food, cold, slow, dry. We left with a bill of over $100 and had to go across the road to get a piece of pizza. $14 US for a draft beer. They don’t have a drink menu so you can’t see the prices before you order. We should have asked but never ever thought a cider would be $13 and a draft beer $14. A pathetic chicken wrap that was cold , wrap was hard and it was really just like a bottle of buffalo sauce was dumped on it. The beef dip dry shaved crumbles of meat scraps. Laughable. Prices are criminal for the quantity and quality of the food and when we asked to speak with a manager she was “too busy” to come out so an angry man came out instead who had no desire to listen to any feedback. Must have been the cook. Could have cared less, everything is great and apparently 700 happy customers served this week. Clearly doesn’t look at reviews. They don’t care and are quite happy to rip people off. Absolutely not recommended.

Don’t waste your money or your calories. The food was pathetic and expensive. We ordered a French dip that was bland. A Buffalo chicken wrap which was just hot sauce in a wrap. The onion rings were fried too long. Nothing was made with any quality. The beers were over priced, but at least they were cold. The only good thing about this place was the name. You should walk past it to a better restaurant. I wish we did.

Waited at our table for 20 minutes for a waitress. I asked several of the staff to see if we could get a server. When she finally came out of the kitchen she went to a table of patrons who just got seated. We walked out and won't be back. This was at 2:30. I can't imagine how bad the service is at peak hours.

Visited for a summer weekend with my college friends, such a perfect restaurant to sit and get some drinks and appetizers! Fairly priced (I am a broke college student) and I didn’t think it was anything crazy especially for being a touristy town. The wait staff was efficient and our waitress was awesome and gave us good recommendations for other places to go. Over all 5/5

No wait, location all outdoor covered seating right on Main st. Fries were overcooked and not edible, replaced by staff. If you are looking for convenience, yes a good place to go. Plan on at least 20 dollars per meal

Nestled in the heart of Cooperstown, Tunnicliff Inn is a charming 19th-century establishment that exudes historic character. Guests can enjoy classic accommodations and start their day with a complimentary breakfast buffet at the on-site restaurant. The inn's prime location makes it easy to explore local attractions, including Abner Doubleday Field and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, both just a short drive away.
My family has been staying here since the 80’s. My brother and I used to take match box cars and race them down the slanted floors. It’s from the 1800’s of course there’s no elevator. It’s charming and quiet. The service was amazing and it was very clean and safe. Every year the day after thanksgiving we have stayed the weekend. Since Covid things have changed a bit sadly but they are trying to keep up with the hotel. The pit is amazing. Baseballs greatest dined there and signed their names on the tables. Along with my family. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if you are into history and a comfortable stay then come here. I do miss the breakfasts. Again Covid changed a lot. I see people complaining about the hotels footings being unlocked during the night. It’s a small town. You have locks on your rooms doors for a reason. Parking isn’t as bad as others stated. Behind the in is great and the street. Yes the place is dated but it’s the Cooperstown feel of the old times. Simpler times. It’s a hidden gem. Sure it could use better upkeep but we will always come back year after year. Winter months are great in this town. Day after thanksgiving is the best Christmas parade.

Stayed the weekend during the off-season… This is the perfect location right by everything! Very quaint and old. And they don’t serve breakfast for being a bed and breakfast. The funny thing was I stepped out of my bed and the room was tilted, but besides that all in all I give it a thumbs up.

Quick overnight at the historic Tunnicliff. Excellent front desk staff who literally waited up for us to return from dinner to make sure we had a parking spot on a crowded 5th of July fireworks night. Comfortable bed, clean room. Yes - the floors are uneven - it was built over a hundred years ago! Feel like you are part of the amazing history that is Cooperstown and stay here.

Our stay here was very spontaneous. The general manager at the front desk was kind and very polite. Surprisingly the property didn’t smell like a historic building. I found the place to be very cozy and romantic during an unexpected spring snowstorm

Affordable but dated rooms. No microwave or water available. Friendly staff and very historic.

Maybe it was an off day. My seafood bisque was awful. It was made with imitation crab legs and tomato soup diluted with milk. I also ordered the blue corn empanadas which were fried hard, had no flavor and were smaller that a Chinese dumpling. The accompanying queso was thick and floury. At least it had chunks of peppers and corn kernels in it. I left half of both dishes there. My husband's chili tasted like it came from a can he said. Find somewhere else for lunch.

Stairs! Not wheelchair accessible. Bed was horrible. Bathroom was tiny. Wait forever for hot water. Room slants. Headboard was all floppy. Needs updating bad! Was clean. Location is great.
Barbara B — Google review
This building was built in 1802, which is definitely cool, but when your floor is slanted and the head of your bed is 3-4 inches lower than your feet, that is not cool. There is no elevator and they would not assist with bags. There is never anyone at the front desk-you have to pick up a phone and call the manager (owner?). Room and bathroom was clean. Only mini-blinds on the windows, so no black-out curtains. There is a lunch/dinner restaurant in the basement that had good food. The best thing about this place is location, location, location! Walking distance to the Baseball Hall of Fame, restaurants, and shops. 17 rooms in the hotel, but only 9 parking spaces, so if you get one, don’t move it because you may lose it. Would not stay there again because no elevator.
