Nestled in Ogunquit, The Greenery Cafe is a charming spot known for its locally sourced cafe fare and delightful patio seating. This popular breakfast destination offers an array of must-try dishes such as Strawberry Preserves, Crab Saratoga, Veggie Scramble, Pancakes, Coffee, and Muffins. Whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating, you'll be treated to homemade fresh fare served with a smile.
Four of us had breakfast here today. We got there at nine and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The host was extremely friendly. The server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive. All of the food was fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. The portions were generous. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was memorable. I will definitely items come back.

This place is great!! We had a short wait (<10 minutes) and then we were seated and greeted right away. The bloody Mary was flavorful and perfectly spiced, and the coffee was very fresh. I had the Crab Sarasota and I was blown away -- the flavor was amazing, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sourbread toast was delicious. I loved how creamy the scramble was with the addition of the cream cheese. Our server was super busy but still remained kind and friendly :) the prices were reasonable and the decor was lovely. We will definitely come back!!
Kate R — Google review
Had an amazing experience at The Greenery Cafe in Ogunquit. Their bloody mary, made in-house, was a highlight. The lobster & Irish benedicts, paired with the best shredded potatoes, were incredible. Our waitresses, Michelle & Misty, were super attentive. Can't wait to go back!
Maria A — Google review
Excellent breakfast. We'll done. Crab Cake Benedict was spot on. Ruben omelet delicious with saurkraut. Very busy place. Most people didn't flinch on a 30 minute wait. That says the food is good. Get a side of cinnamon toast...
C M — Google review
Absolutely unbelievable breakfast. Worth the wait. You have to get the cinnamon bread and jam. It’s without a doubt the best toast and jam I’ve ever had. Coffee was good and muffins are incredible. Life changing breakfast.

OMG! This is THE morning spot for an early breakfast! Step in to the warmth and the wafting scents of coffee and fresh baked goods. Comfortable seating options, dog friendly, and super nice staff!!! The food was incredible and serving sizes tipping almost too big! LoL Highly recommend!
Teakay — Google review
Super nice people make great food! Crab cake Benny (Benedict) was hitting a spot so well. And portions are large enough to satisfy any hunger level. On top of that, coffee and Raspberry muffin are an excellent combination! Well sorry stopping by! Now you'll see that parking in front of it is totally full, but next door parking can be used as well. Inside, all tables seems to be full non-stop and I we are sure it was not by accident.

Great little spot! Bubbles was great! Monte Cristo French toast was awesome! Blood Mary on point, as well! Add the bacon on the avocado egg sandwich....game changer.Go check this place out!

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in Ogunquit, the Egg & I Pancake and Waffle House has been a beloved spot for over three decades. While renowned for its delectable pancakes and waffles, this cozy kitchen also offers an array of breakfast options such as omelets, combo plates, Benedicts, and house specialties like the S.O.S. The warm and inviting atmosphere coupled with a friendly team ensures a memorable dining experience.
Our late breakfast visit to The Egg and I, Pancake and Waffle House in Ogunquit, Maine, yielded a pleasantly surprising experience. This immaculately clean restaurant boasts a unique atmosphere that blends elements of a diner and pancake house. The menu is well-structured, offering a wide range of options to cater to diverse tastes, all at reasonable prices. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a smile, and our server, whose name we unfortunately didn't catch, delivered exceptional service that was both prompt and friendly. We opted for the Irish Benedict and Country Fried Steak, both of which were served hot and were incredibly delicious. The Country Fried Steak is particularly noteworthy, featuring a flavorful Country Sausage Gravy and tender steak. For those seeking a classic, reasonably priced breakfast, this restaurant is an excellent choice.
Rocky M — Google review
Nestled right on Route 1, The Egg & I is exactly what you hope for in a classic Maine breakfast joint. We stopped in during the off-season, right at 7 AM, and had the place to ourselves — though by 8, it was already starting to fill up. I can only imagine how lively it gets during the peak May–August rush. The menu has all the breakfast staples you could want — hearty portions, fresh coffee, and that old-school diner charm. The space is super clean, the staff are welcoming, and there's plenty of parking, which is always a plus along Route 1. If you're looking for a no-fuss, satisfying start to your day in coastal Maine, The Egg & I delivers.
Ashton W — Google review
This place is one of the best breakfast spots I've ever been to and I'll tell you why. First, even when there are waits to be seated (after 8:30am), they're incredibly fast at seating us. Second, their food. The home fries are the best I've had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned. Everyone loved their food, including the baby. Third, the team spirit. We had a different person each of the 5 days we went here. I want to mention Omar because he made sure we were good on drinks and even danced with our 2 year old back to the table. This kind of service doesn't exist in this world often. This didn't detract from the absolutely phenomenal effort that the whole team puts in. Fourth, anyone with a "be nice" motto is great company. This place is a winner and we'll be back every time we're in the area.
Brian T — Google review
Natasha our server was warm and inviting, food came out fast and absolutely delicious! Fresh berries, the cutest mug (which of course I had to add to my collection for only $12) my grandparents used to take me here almost 20 years ago and it was such a staple, I’m so glad it is still just as amazing! Thank you! Definitely give this place a try!
Erin M — Google review
I mean it's a normal breakfast place. The prices are higher since it's a heavy tourist area. Nothing special. Of course the service was okay. It's just our waiter was not friendly or engaging and it actually felt like I was bothering him when I would ask him a question. So I just went up to the hostess and asked her my questions. I even asked the waiter if he was having a bad day and he's like I'm just here to do my job. I'm not like the other waiters, but I don't make mistakes and you'll get your food right. I don't know why he's in public service. If you don't like people. When my husband and I vacation, we like to leave large tips at certain places just because or for extraordinary service. But it's just something that we've always done. Every time we go on vacation. We like to do it. We were going to do it here but like I said the vibe was off and we felt more like an inconvenience to him than a customer. The service was ok. Food came out the way it was supposed to just didn't care for being made to feel like we're an inconvenience. So the next place we went to got the large tip
Dawn T — Google review
This is a great little breakfast place! Great service and the food was excellent. Best corned beef hash I’ve had in a while! Highly recommend stopping here.
Catie A — Google review
I wanted to get a big breakfast/brunch style meal and I was not dissappointed. We came here mid morning. The wait was about 30min, which wasn't too bad. They also had an app so you could check on your place in line, which is very fancy. The longer the wait, you could leave and come back if you wanted. The wait was worth it thought, the food was fantastic. I had the Homemade Hash, my wife had a California Omlet. my daughter had the Stuffed French Toast, my son had Pancakes and my brother had a Breakfast Burrito. The Hash was truly homemade, it was literally shredded corned beef. I tried the daughters Stuffed French Toast. It was wonderful...a little sweet for my liking, but really good. The server was fairly decent but was very busy so there wasnt a lot of engagement. When we left. The place had quieted down, so timing on your visit (day/season) will make a difference. Give it a try if you are in the area!

Went here today for the first time. It was delicious. One of the best breakfasts I've had in years! Omelettes were good and so was everything else. French toast was HUGE and flavorful! I'd definitely recommend!

My family and I had a great breakfast here. I almost forgot to get pictures! The service was great and fast. We were here after Labor Day so we got in and seated right away. My mom had French toast and bacon loved it! My dad had #5 Mixed Grill omelette he said it was the best omelette he has ever had! My hubby had the #4 The Lorraine said it was yummy! I had the basic breakfast sandwich with bacon. It was good the potatoes were just ok. All in all we enjoyed it and will be back!

Food is excellent and their cooks and staff were very friendly. We felt seen. The food , omelettes and pancakes were amazing. A little cramped but if you can snag a table outside it’s worth it.
JP — Google review
My husband and I did an overnight stay in Oguncuit and on our way out of town stopped at The Omelette Factory for breakfast. First off this place has so much character as you are greeted by large colorful 🏳️‍🌈 roosters in front, and inside a quaint colorful eatery. This place has I don’t know over 40 or so omelette options as well as other breakfast items but we decided if you eat somewhere called the Omelette Factory you have to get an omelette. My husband and I both agreed we had one of the best omelets we have ever had. One thing we loved is they use butter and you can taste it with every bite of the fluffy egg mixture. Also loved their homemade strawberry jam that comes on your plate and I don’t really like jam but this was delicious on the sweet bread they give you on your plate. Friendly service, great food, prices are reasonable and we will definitely go back if we ever travel to or through Oguncuit again!
Shannon V — Google review
Went here over the weekend and really enjoyed everything about this place. From the friendly staff, good service to the food and atmosphere it's definitely a great spot! I ordered a pizza omelet which was great! Definitely will be back here the next time we're in Ogunquit.

We always love going to the OF! Watching Chef Bobby and his crew work their magic in the kitchen while eating is such fun!! The wait staff is also very friendly and attentive. The omelettes are so big and tasty and the sweet bread with homemade jam is perfect! Love the Jamaican music playing in the background. The new shirts/sweatshirts with their "be better humans" is a must buy and a message that will never get old. We chatted with the owner who is clearly into good customer service. Keep it up! We will be back:)
Patty T — Google review
Chef Bobby makes an amazing breakfast! From Lobster Benedict to scrambled eggs with bacon, and a pancake. Everything was cooked to perfection and don't forget to add some of Chef Bobby's Hot Sauce!!! It is a flavor bomb and the heat comes in just after so you really taste every layer without the heat hitting you so fast. The food was made with such intention and love, so delicious you could pray and give thanks after every bite. The service was equally wonderful and the vibe in-house was of home where all are welcome. Thank you so much Chef Bobby, we will return!!!

This place is incredible. We showed up right in between rushes. The greeting and service were fantastic. And even though the breakfast took an average amount of time to prepare, it tasted like the chef spent a day in my grandmother's kitchen. Anytime I'm in this area, this is one of the first spots I'll be visiting. The folks that work at this place attend to every detail, which is above and beyond many great spots I've been to.
Brian T — Google review
Great place to have good quality, reasonably priced food with quick service before the beach! They have all the basics plus more!
Jody B — Google review
I took my husband for breakfast here for his birthday. We found out about it from the Ogunquit hotel and suites up the street where we were staying a sister hotel and we were very happy with our experience. The food was delicious. He got the chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and I had scrambled eggs with raisin toast and ham. Everything was very delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. Our waiter did a great job. Thank you we will come again.
Kristine A — Google review
The waiter Brian was great. The food was hot and delicious. My coffee cup was always refilled without asking. Since none of us used cream in our drinks, I feel bad the 2 creamers were wasted on us. The little creamers might be a less wasteful option.
Tammy D — Google review
The people were very friendly and the service was nice and quick.

The room is nice, but fans are on, making it cool in the breakfast hour. The staff are sweet and attentive. The breakfast burrito however had almost no flavor. What happened to using herbs?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem and Our New Favorite Breakfast Spot! We’re moving to Ogunquit and have been on a mission to find our go-to breakfast place — and we finally found it at Raspberri’s! It was one of the last stops on our breakfast tour, and honestly, my husband didn’t have high hopes going in. But wow — were we pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely amazing. I had the French toast with eggs and sausage — the French toast was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and far from the dry, overdone versions we’ve had elsewhere. My husband had eggs, bacon, toast, and home fries — a classic done just right. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, and the portions were huge, which is so rare nowadays. To top it off, our waitress, Sam, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like a warm welcome to our new home town. If you're in Ogunquit and looking for a satisfying breakfast in a cozy, welcoming setting — don't miss Raspberri’s. We’re thrilled to call it our new favorite

They were unable to modify the type of egg on the breakfast sandwiches (fried versus scrambled). I ordered a plain bagel instead, but it had a super strong sourdough flavor and was quite small. It was very busy inside and they couldn’t keep up. The napkin holders were all empty. The place is Instagrammable, but the service, food, and prices left much to be desired.
Jaclyn — Google review
Stopped in for a gluten free breakfast sandwich and coffee. The option for gluten free bread is great & the coffee flavor was really delicious but there was just way too much cream in the drink. I opted for the brown butter maple latte, iced. I recommend to get this flavor hot as it seems to be a homemade syrup made with real butter which does not melt in a cold drink. The flavor is really delicious, but if you want a coffee taste also ask for less cream/milk or an extra shot of espresso. I would still highly recommend going here!
Emily N — Google review
Wish I had more time to spend and look through their menu. We got their vegan scones (strawberry and blueberry coconut scones) and I wish there were more vegan options to choose from. Those scones were so decadent but not in a super sweet way, more so like a filling option to start off the day. I highly recommend them for plant based folks.
Mark C — Google review
We just happened upon this wonderful shop because we found parking and took a look over and saw the Backyard. We got a hot and iced Vietnamese coffee and 2 blueberry scones suggested by the darling young woman taking our order. Coffee was fabulous and the blueberry scones were incredible! My husband went back while I was shopping to get a sandwich a couple hours later. Great little ‘accidental’ find!

Excellent coffee shop in downtown Ogunquit! Lots of fun drinks on the menu, and delicious breakfast sandwiches! We got the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches and the bacon that they used was out of this world good! Can’t recommend this place enough; it’s the perfect place for a morning pick me up on vacation!
Joslin L — Google review
A long line that went outside the front door was the first good sign that this was a great place and the food and coffee confirmed our choice. Many different coffee options from drip to espresso, dark to medium blends, with regular and decaf - the coffee was delicious - BARD coffee beans from Portland, ME. The egg bacon and cheese sandwich on a bagel was a decent option for some morning protein. Finally, a great outdoor space to sit and enjoy breakfast on the side of the building made the trip (and wait) totally worth it!

The younger female with the long braided pigtails today was beyond rude. Embarrassed herself. Made a terrible drink and made me never want to go back despite wanting to support local business as a nearby resident. I don't know what mess I walked into but I am super bummed out because I heard so many wonderful things about the breakfast. She needs a retraining.

Cafe
Nestled in Perkins Cove, the Cove Cafe has been a beloved family-run spot since 2001. This cozy nook offers a homey atmosphere and serves all-day American breakfast from May through October. Despite its small size, it's a popular choice for locals and visitors alike, so arriving early is recommended, especially during peak summer months.
Food was great!! We got scrambled eggs and then split the Blueberry Waffle…which I highly recommend. That was the winner, it was so delicious. The restaurant is small so if you want a guaranteed seat, you should go right when it opens. But we went around 8am and waited about 10 minutes. Worth the wait for that waffle!
Michael M — Google review
Worth the wait! Party of two waited for ~30 minutes on a Thursday morning arriving at about 9:15. We sat at the bar each was fun to see the servers and kitchen staff working hard through the breakfast rush. Incredible lobster omelette ($34 MP), plain Belgian waffle with real maple syrup, homemade muffins, great service. Beautiful interior with real hardwood floors. I just loved this place! Park in the big lot next to Perkins Cove Kitchen. $25 all day. Take a look inside the Perkins Cove bookstore and the Knotty Sailor right next door while you’re waiting.
Daniel C — Google review
This cozy little place is clearly a local favorite — and for good reason. It’s small and always in high demand, so be prepared to wait unless you arrive right when they open. We first stopped by around 9 a.m. and the line was too long, but when we came back around 11, we still waited about 25 minutes and it was worth it. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the portions are generous, and everything has that comforting, home-cooked feel. The relaxed, warm atmosphere makes it the perfect place to start (or end) your morning. The food was fantastic — one of our friends ordered the Eggs Benedict and swore it was the best he’s ever had.

Cove Cafe has a comfortable, charming, quaint and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing unrushed breakfast near the ocean/Marginal Way. My husband said the blueberry French toast was the best French toast he’s ever had.

First timers here but we were told this was a great spot from friends that always stay in Ogunquit. We got to the café around 11 and it was packed! We put our name in and they told us about a 35 minute wait. I always hesitate to wait that long when I am trying a place for the first time and I have two Hangry kids with me, but holy smokes this place was worth the wait! Delicious food like the crab cakes and lobster benedict didn't last long once it was put in front of me. The rest of the family had similar results after ordering the waffles and french toast! We all loved our meals, and agree it was worth the wait. Definitely recommend checking this little place out! As you can see from the pictures, everyone dove into their food before I could get the full picture!
Adam T — Google review
One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. We got the last table before they closed the doors for the day. For sure harder to get into but for a reason. I had a simple breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes, but it was one of the best quality breakfasts. the ingredients were top tier, the bacon was thick cut and freshly cooked. Coffee was yummy, they had specials that looked great. So quaint and sweet inside, perfect maine breakfast joint.

Stopped here for breakfast but there was a 50 minute wait so opted to get take out. Tried the crab cake breakfast sandwich which was very good. Also tried a nitro ice coffee but I personally was not a fan of it. The service was very accommodating. I would definitely go back another time

Village Food Market is a year-round spot with limited outdoor seating, so takeout is the way to go. Their breakfast menu is surprisingly extensive for a takeout joint, and it's recommended to call ahead. The Steak and Egg wrap comes highly recommended. Located in the heart of the vibrant Village, Beachmere Inn offers cozy family-friendly suites just a short walk from one of America's top-rated beaches.
Definitely enjoyed this market and supporting a local small business. It is like a mini grocery store with some produce and tons of other grocery items. The baked goods looked so delicious. They also have a full menu with tons of options for a quick bite.

Waited 28 minutes for 2 lousy breakfast sandwiches on a relatively quiet Monday morning.....off season Oct 6. Will never come back here. Used to be good. We come every year here in Ogunquit. Sad. There are plenty of fantastic places to eat here with much quicker, quality food. Sorry.
Meenah — Google review
Great spot for morning coffee or tea and a wide selection of breakfast items, with a few tables if you want to eat at the market. Our Inn does not provide breakfast, so we ventured to the Village Food Market around 8:00am to see what they offered and found a great selection of coffee and breakfast items. We ordered 2 everything bagels toasted with plain cream cheese. The bagels tasted fresh and were very good. The coffee is fantastic, thinking I chose the Einstein brew, a medium roast with a blend of various coffees, the coffee was very strong and tasted great. The market offers half & half which we live in our coffee. The location is a market with various food items other than the food prepared at the grill. Great spot in downtown Ogunquit.

This market had so many items, something for everyone! We ordered an italian sub and it was delicious. They had hot food available- which the kids enjoyed the chicken tenders. There were several drink options, desserts, coffee, snacks, and grocery items. The wait for a sandwich during prime lunch time was around 5-10 minutes.

I ordered a 10” funfetti cake with a fuchsia/orange sunset theme for my friend’s 30th birthday and the bakers at Village Food Market went above and beyond!! The cake tied everything together for theme and the birthday girl loved it! Not to mention the cake tasted delish, even as breakfast two days later. I would order another cake from Village in a heartbeat.

If there is a worse way to run sandwich-preparation I have not seen it. You place the order at the counter like anywhere else. After you pay You are given a ticket with a number on it. You exit the store and queue up outside waiting for one of the sandwich guys to tape a similar ticket on the inside of the window. This is not a pick-up window. It is the large wall-window on the front of the market. And the spot where they tape these completed-order tickets is three feet to the right of the only door to the market. So, basically the entry / exit to the store has a large number of people congregated, waiting to see if the guy taped up any new tickets on the inside of the big window. You can’t see the little numbers from more than a few feet so every time he tapes up a little piece of paper everyone moves around to try to figure it out. The wait is long - can be 20-30 minutes from when you have paid until when your magic number arrives. When it does, you go back inside and they give you your sandwich. No napkins, utensils. And no obvious place to get that stuff within the chaotic environment of the store. Oh, and I ordered one sandwich on a gluten-free wrap. There was an undisclosed surcharge of $4.50 for that one. And I got onions without asking for them. Otherwise the food was good.

Positives: Tons of food and snacks of all varieties!! Drinks selections. Alcohol and non alcoholic drinks Half off pastries Deli food is disappointing. I keep going to try the deli food hoping trying something different every time but it's a disappointment. The food doesn't taste right. The flavor is off. fried.chicken I couldn't even eat the skins. I will only go for other stuff. Which has a GREAT selection!

Wonderful breakfast this morning! Food was excellent with a spectacular menu. The atmosphere was cozy and warm and had a lively staff that provided stellar service.

I had the teriyaki steak tips with a Cesar salad and garlic fries. They were good. My husband had the fish and chips. The haddock was fresh and flaky. Overall was a good experience. I would go back.

Our favorite spot in Ogunquit! The food never disappoints and the service is stellar. Today we had the amazing Christopher! He was so nice and welcoming. As far as food, the chicken sandwich is extremely good as is the fried Haddock. I would even go as far as saying it’s the best fried haddock in town. But honestly, we have had a few different things and I have never been disappointed.

Decided to visit the last night of our stay for some late night drinks & dessert. The drinks were amazing! Sunset at the footbridge, margaritas (alc & non-alc). The nonalcoholic margaritas were delicious, best we’ve ever had to be honest. The live music was great, added a fun chill vibe, very fun. We did order a slice of blueberry pie, which was ok & the reason for the 4-stars. It unfortunately was burnt, so that was disappointing as our favorite pie place closed years ago and we’ve been looking for some good pie. Overall it was a great place, we’ll be back again & would recommend it to others.

Definitely a good spot for brunch. There's a bar up front and out back. This restaurant was bigger than it looked. There's a little something for everyone on the menu. The food came out hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

This lively restaurant, located on the corner of Route 1 and Shore Road, has a great menu. We sat at a high top table and enjoyed the view (seriously, it’s chaotic! Route 1, Beach Street, and Shore Road all converge - cars, trolleys, cyclists, pedestrians - but no accidents while we were there). Burgers are awesome, my chicken sandwich was terrific. Craft beers, fun place.

Devon was a wonderful server. He took our order promptly, and the food was served in no time. Best of all, the food came hot! Nothing worse than getting a lukewarm of lukewarm haddock. Very generous portions. Although there’s no parking available on site, there are lots nearby and it’s a great location right in the center of town. Great for people watching.

I ordered the steak tips medium rare and they were cooked perfectly and really tender. Everything our party ordered was pretty good including drinks. I love that they also do live music, it does get pretty loud in there during a busy night but is to be expected during tourist season.

We stopped here while on our vacation in Maine a few days ago and it was great! The food was very tasty and our server was fabulous. Great martinis as well. The steak frites dish was amazing, the potatoes were so unique. We also had the swordfish dish and it was very good. We were able to get a spot in their little parking lot which was a plus too. Definitely recommend this place!

We stopped here on our way up to visit family a little bit further north in Maine. I have to admit, we were in comfortable traveling clothes and upon arriving, realized we were quite underdressed for this restaurant. I was very thankful to all of the staff for treating us equitably. Our waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the menu, kind, and efficient. The food was a bit on the expensive side, but worth every penny because it was perfectly plated and delicious. Note: The menu online is a sample menu. This means that it may not be exactly the same as in the restaurant. One of my travel companions was excited about a burger on the menu online, but there was no burger/sandwich section on the menu in the restaurant. Just a quick note to keep in mind before you try this place out.

What an absolute perfect spot for a date night. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful in describing menu items. We couldn't choose between the arancini and meatballs appetizers so we got both! I'm so glad we did. Both were just delightful. For our mains we got the bolognese and gnocchi entrees. Both were devine. Fresh flavors and ingredients. Rounding things out with the pumpkin bread pudding and an espresso martini! We already can't wait to go back.

One of the best meals we have ever had! House made bread was perfection, and everything was so incredibly delicious!

The food is very delicious. Clam chowder is creamy by not overly thick full of clams. The roasted halibut is exquisite as well as the venison. Atmosphere and service are pleasant. Large windows towards Shore Road are fun watching the coming and goings. Definitely worth a visit!

Almost everything about our experience here was great. I had linguine with clams and it was hands-down one of the best pasta dishes I've had. The white wine sauce was perfectly balanced and delicious. They did not drown the pasta in it. My wife had the chicken piadina, which was also very good. Kids had the burger and devoured it. All of the deserts were also, fantastic. I had the olive oil cake with apricots and, once again, the balance was perfect. Not too sweet, not to heavy. Delicious. The service was a little on the slow side and the prices were a little high but it's a tourist spot so both of those are to be expected. We had a great experience and I can easily recommend this place.

This is a nice restaurant in the heart of Ogunquit on Shore Road. We had the beef ragu, steak frites, and a nice juicey burger for dinner and then blueberry panacotta for dessert. We started the meal with lobster bisque while flavorful, it was too salty for my taste. The ceasar salad had crisp lettuce with crunchy croutons. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the beef ragu was topped with goat cheese which gave it a nice tang. The dessert had to be shared since we were stuffed from our meals. One could tell that it was freshly made.

It was delicious! Yet I’m still confused why they pile the whole entree on top of one another. I got the mussels to start and the grilled Coulotte Steak, and an espresso martini, images to follow!

Loveshack Juicery is a seasonal vegan cafe located in a quaint beach cottage with outdoor seating. They specialize in crafting signature smoothies and bowls using fresh superfoods and gluten-free, non-dairy ingredients. Their Gold Coast bowl, featuring mango, pineapple, banana smoothie topped with granola, coconut, banana slices, raspberries, cacao nibs, and honey drizzle is highly recommended for breakfast.
We were looking for a clean breakfast, and we remembered passing by Loveshack, so we decided to check them out. Their speciality is fresh smoothie bowls, and we weren’t disappointed! Such fresh flavors and high-quality fruit. The girl at the window was very nice and made the bowls quickly. Even though we arrived within the first half hour of them being open, it was already quite busy, which is definitely a testament to how good they are!

The smoothies and bowls are good but beware! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES! If you substitute something there is a 50/50 chance of them not doing it and ending up very sick because you are allergic to cashew milk. Great place but not if you are very allergic to stuff.

By far the best açaí/smoothie bowls I’ve ever had. The consistency of the base is perfectly blended, like a sorbet. I don’t know how they get it to be so perfect! Large portion relative to price. Every time I’m in Ogunquit, I’m always at Lockshack at least multiple times throughout my vacation. Highly recommend trying for breakfast, lunch or even a snack.

When you are avoiding a long laborious accident on I95 on Sunday of a holiday weekend and you know you have to eat something or it might not go well inside the car, it’s always best to stop and get some ginger shots for a boost of energy and turmeric to reduce stress-induced sedentary exacerbated inflammation that is the epitome of an 8 becomes 10 hour drive from Maine to New York and you’re still in the Maine part. Unfortunately the Loveshack Juicery has neither ginger shots, or any juice, or tumeric as the online menu on Google would have suggested, but the guy making smoothies and coffee had a great smile and he relayed that information very nicely. I can’t say I would recommend the coffee but the sunset smoothie was good. And so were the French fries that we got from the Mexican restaurant full of Cheers style regulars sitting at the bar, next door to the Loveshack baby.

Restaurant
Surf Point 360, located at the Anchorage by the Sea in Ogunquit, offers a remarkable dining experience with traditional Maine seafood and contemporary American cuisine. The restaurant features a recently renovated space with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, there is an exclusive cocktail lounge on the upper level called 360 Bar, which boasts an extensive outside deck for guests aged 21 and above.
We have visited Surfpoint 360 three times in the last week and have had a great experience each time. Cooper and Sean were attentive and accommodating servers, and the drinks and view were amazing. Sean even remembered our exact drink preferences from the day before. The most remarkable thing was last night when my older parents and I were leaving, the kitchen manager Jamie, who was getting off her shift, noticed that my dad was feeling weak as we were waiting for our golf cart taxi ride back to our rental. She waited with us to make sure the driver came and when he didn’t, she got the hotel shuttle and personally drove us — on her time off — to make sure we got home safely. It is the best customer service we have gotten in years. We were so impressed with the service that we plan to switch hotels next summer and stay at the Anchorage Inn where the Surfpoint 360 is located. Fantastic service.

I enjoyed dinner at Surf Point 360 with my boyfriend recently and we had such a lovely experience, largely thanks to its stunning ocean views. I enjoyed the Chicken Breast with Blueberry Balsamic Pan Sauce and my boyfriend loved the Shrimp Scampi! We also split the Iceberg Wedge Salad, a nice fresh start to our dinner. Overall, I couldn't recommend this spot enough especially if you appreciate dining with a view and enjoy well-executed classic dishes!!
Gabrielle W — Google review
This is our second time staying at the hotel and eating at Surf 360. I love the staff. When reading past reviews that are negative about the staff, I honestly think they might be the rude type never happy. If you see a reviewer that always complains about staff it usually has nothing to do with the restaurant. The many staff I've met are accommodating, knowledgeable about the menu, and make you feel comfortable. Last night there was a gentleman at the bar where I ordered food and drinks. He was very nice when serving others before me. When I ordered we engaged in a funny conversation and he was quick with service. Today I just went over and there were 2 ladies working. Both were so sweet and helped me immediately. The quality of food depends of what you order. My husband said the fish tacos were some of the best! Our son loved the chicken tenders and I concur. The crab cake was the only thing that didn't taste good. Hopefully they will try new recipes in the future. Macaroni and cheese was hot and delicious. Overall I highly recommend.

Wanted to try a new location for dinner. Location and view very nice, albeit a bit overrun with kids. Food ok, considering the price i expected better. Waiter looked like she had a rough day. Waited way too long before i could order desserts and had to ask for the bill, to avoid waiting even longer.
Evert S — Google review
We were excited to try somewhere new to us for a nice dinner. We went for the views but that was about the only highlight of our dinner. Our waiter was nice and attentive but the food was flavorless and loaded with salt. Our plates had been sitting for quite some time in the window so it was hard and dry. Our drinks were okay but not worth the price. We felt rushed at the end of our dinner but yet there were still many people around us. Overall, a tourist trap...
Hallee S — Google review
We stayed at the resort and loved the on site restaurant. I still plan to return even if we were not staying here. Two different levels. The first floor is Surf Point for the restaurant. The top floor is 360 Bar for adults only and has a limited menu similar to the lunch menu on the first floor. We came her three times each for dinner, lunch and an evening drink upstairs. Dinner: best experience (5 stars) My wife got the lobster and shrimp scampi and I got the seafood bouillabaisse. I was blown away by the flavor of the seafood bouillabaisse and this is a top dish that will compete with any other top restaurant. My wife's lobster and shrimp scampi was delicious. The view was gorgeous overlooking Ogunquit beach and the ocean. Lunch: average (3 stars) My wife got the turkey BLT wrap and it was not pulled turkey per the menu and just turkey deli meat, still ok. I had the fish and chips. It was oily and felt heavy. I had much better. The fries was crispy and good. We probably would not return for lunch. Evening drinks upstairs at 360 Bar: (5 stars) The bartender was attentive and made a custom martini for us to perfection. The view here is magical and a must visit. We didn't want to leave this experience to go to dinner...ha. Overall this is a 5 star experience even with lunch being average. It's all about the experience! 👏👍🏽

One of the worst places I’ve eaten. I had a reservation and noted in it many things-none of which seemed like they read about. Got there, they got the table ready (jammed inside in between people- when I reserved this a week in advance and hoped for an ocean view) I noted we had a gluten allergy at the table, when it came time to order the waiter had 0 idea if anything was gluten free on the menu or could be made gluten free. So we ordered and hoped for the best. Our app came out with a huge piece of hair in it, our waiter was no where to be found. Then the food came out and it had gluten all over it. Waiter still put everything on the tab at the end of it. Would never go back unfortunately.

We've been going to The Anchorage for the last 10 yrs and it's one of the most beautiful spots in Ogunquit! But the food has gone down hill, sadly. I just had lunch here, and it was average at best. Go for drinks, don't waste your money on the food here. Go to the Cliff House for excellent food and a spectacular million dollar view. ********* UPDATE *********** We went back to the Anchorage for lunch this past Sun 8/3, and we were pleasantly surprised! We had Valshir as our waiter, and he was exceptional! He checked on us regularly, and we spent over $100 on lunch for the 2 of us. The Calamari was fresh, and the oil it was fried in was also fresh (you can tell by the color). The Bloody Mary's were spicy and delicious. The chicken on my Cesar Salad was warm, which was very good, although the chicken portion could if been bigger. The Clam Chowder was excellent! A great improvement in service and food! I hope it stays consistent. Again, Valshir deserves to be praised, he caused me to regain my trust in this place! Thank you!

Easily the worst salad ive ever had. It looked like a salad you get from a cafeteria. The lettuce was hard and weird. The chicken was the dryest worst chicken ever. The dressing was flavorless. It was $21 to boot. Truly awful.

I loved everything about this place! The chicken + fig grilled cheese was amazing along with their other sandwiches. BUT the best of all are their drinks! The lavender lemonade is made from freshly squeezed lavender and lemons. It is the best drink i’ve ever had in my life. The Beach Basket is family owned and has the cutest interior/exterior. Very convenient lunch spot and I appreciated the healthy-ish options, which can be hard to find in Ogunquit. I also appreciated how the salads and sandwiches were customizable. The lemonades are good too and they have some interesting flavor options. The lemonades are quite sweet but that seems obvious for lemonade

Mornings in Paris is a charming spot located in the heart of Ogunquit, where you can enjoy freshly roasted coffee and delectable pastries. Additionally, they have a special gluten-free pastry section featuring goodies from Bam Bam Bakery.
We found this darling cafe on Google. It was only a 6 minute walk from the Sea Castles hotel we were staying. They have an appetizing assortment of pastries, sandwiches, fruit cups, desserts, cookies and even greek yogurt which is rarely found on most menus. They offer many coffee concoctions and have coolers with bottled drinks. However, I was looking for orange juice and did not see it as an option. My husband and I both had a spinach and feta croissant , fruit cup and coffee. I was in heaven after the first bite. The coffee, black, had a deliciously rich flavor w/o bitterness. I loved the Parisian atmosphere and the ladies working there made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this charming eatery.

Stopped in here for a quick snack & coffee while browsing the shops downtown. The macarons looked wonderful, but unfortunately they were a bit disappointing with the flavors. The coconut was by far the best. The others were just okay, but I would not recommend the earl grey. The gluten free whoopie pie was dense but reminded me of almost a cosmic brownie with sugar frosting. There were additional options for gluten free quick breads. The coffee was decent.

The staff were very nice. Great breakfast pickup place (dining not available). But it is pricey here. A regular medium coffee was more than $3. Macarons x 6 = $18. The crepe was good but wish that it had more creams in it as it was a bit dry.

I don’t usually leave reviews for places but i’m pretty disappointed. Went in for a coffee with my husband and had to wait around. Nobody even acknowledged me until I said something. Pastries seemed frozen from sysco and not homemade, coffee is overpriced. For the amount of money you’re spending it’s better to go down the street to The Greenery. Coffee was burnt and had grinds, and the staff were rude and clearly didn’t care. Definitely not a great experience.

Crepes were awful. Texture of an overcooked tortilla which couldn’t be cut through with their plastic silverware. Both doors open despite temps in the 40’s, which I understand helps with flow of traffic, but is very unpleasant to endure while sitting in the cafe eating food that immediately became cool and made us not want to remove our jackets to eat.

THE BEST DONUTS!!! Worth the hype. Truly loved with filling, especially the chocolate, maple and powder filled donuts. So so so good. Long line but moves quick! Friendly service. Reasonable prices. The dough is incredible too. Worth the hype. Even got dog donuts!! Went to the food trucks at Congdon’s after dark as well and had the best chicken wrap with live music. 10/10 recommend

Ordered online the evening before for 0700 pick up. Arrived and walked past the line inside to the pick up counter. Employee searched for order but could not find them on the shelf. She ended up just grabbing a box and getting the donuts for me. Not a very efficient system in my opinion. The fritters (blueberry and maple bacon) were both good. The raspberry filled donut was a bit disappointing. Not much jelly inside, and it seemed more compote like than actual. The actual donut itself was really good. I think next time I would skip the fancier donuts and go with the basics. Actually stopped back by 10 minutes before they closed because it was so busy in the morning I didn’t actually get to see the donuts and other pastry options. My order from the morning was sitting on the shelf all by itself. I did inform the employee that they had already been picked up earlier that morning.

We used the drive through. We got an orange cranberry scone, blueberry fritter and a maple square( this was the most decadent maple thing we have ever eaten! The biscuit sandwich and a bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. All of it was amazingly delicious!!! Way more than expected! Best breakfast sandwiches we have ever had in fact! Thank you for the deliciousness!

I always review things based on the price I pay! At $2.79 per donut and $34 for a bakers dozen (13), they needed to be close to perfect. Donuts (raised and filled) were standard, nothing to be too excited about, but the fritters were excellent (they were sold out of their signature donut, the blueberry fritter, when I ordered at 10:30 AM so I can’t speak to that). Apple was fantastic. There’s also a nice shaded seating area to enjoy. They had a sweet employee who came by to offer complimentary donut holes. Overall I’d recommend it but if you’re more cost conscious you might not think so.

I still am thinking about these donuts a week later. Almost convinced my husband to stop off the highway on our ride back to NYC from Portland just to pick up these donuts. Best donut I’ve ever had. My husband arrived around 8AM on a Saturday morning and waited in line for about 30 minutes. Go early!! Favorite donut was the white cream chocolate frosted. Homemade and delicious, fresh — highly recommend.

Nestled by the water, Footbridge Lobster is a quirky seafood shack that has become a must-visit for anyone craving delicious takeout lobster rolls. Located near Perkins Cove, this charming spot invites you to savor its offerings while soaking in the stunning coastal views. After grabbing your meal, consider taking a leisurely stroll along Marginal Way—a picturesque cliffside path that showcases Maine's natural beauty.
Lobster crate vibes at Footbridge Lobster in Ogunquit! For $19.99, you get not one but two lobsters & a corn on the cob, & the lobster roll was stuffed with 5oz of deliciousness with mayo & butter. The price is amazing, & the taste is even better!
Maria A — Google review
They offer their lobster rolls with butter or mayo but if you want it warmed up you have to specifically request it. They do not have any of their own seating so you’ll have to walk around and find a bench. Their lobster roll was really good, i got it with butter!

When in Maine… you roll with the best! Foot Bridge Lobster serves up fresh-off-the-boat lobster, and this roll? LOADED. Perfectly cooked, buttery, and absolutely brimming with that sweet local flavor. No frills, just the real deal.

What a great walk up dinning experience! The lobster was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the sweet potato fries. Can't wait to go back.

After a long drive we were looking forward to fresh Maine seafood. So even the downpour of rain couldn’t stop us from getting dinner at one of our favorite spots. We grabbed lobster rolls, scallops and fish. Worth every penny!!
Beth A — Google review
Lobster twin for $20 is definitely a steal. Moreover, the lobsters are coming with the corn and chips. Highly recommended to stop by here.
Todd S — Google review
As a New Englander and frequent lobster roll connoisseur, this is one of the best I’ve ever had. We had the warm lobster roll with butter and mayo as recommended by the staff. It was a small hotdog bun but had lots of fresh juicy lobster meat, and came with a bag of chips. This would absolutely be a 10/10 but $40 per roll feels like highway robbery. Also note that there’s nowhere to sit, it’s an order at the window style but that’s okay, there’s benches and rocks around to perch on. The staff was very friendly and helpful, would recommend this place to anyone that has the extra cash to pay.

I can’t say that i’ve had many lobster rolls in my life, but this one is the best. Fresh lobster served with perfectly grilled hotdog roll. We had it with butter and mayo and it’s hard to think of a better combination.

Restaurant
Horizons Family Restaurant, a charming café with a white weather-boarded exterior, has been serving delightful breakfast and brunch dishes since 1995. This cozy establishment offers a variety of scrumptious options such as eggs, muffins, pancakes, omelets, and even BLTs upon request. The owner is always present and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Very nice place for breakfast. It is a bit small, so places are limited when you go during the morning rush. The food was very good and prepared perfectly. The waffle with blueberries did not come with fresh blueberries, which is what I was expecting since we were in the season. This is why I put only 4 stars. We will go again for sure.
Eric P — Google review
Took my mom there for the first time for Mother's Day. It was very nice, and we were there early for breakfast & to beat the weekend rush. The portions were large and fairly priced & the staff was friendly and professional. The decor could use a refresh. It did feel at bit dated, but I would recommend it. It's close to Route 1 & the beach.

First time we tried Horizons. My fiance said his lobster Benny was the best he had ever head and that says a whole lot! He ate it right up! Our waitress was amazing she was quick and ontop of all her tables! I had the normal French toast and it was very good as well.

Horizons Family Restaurant in Wells is exactly what you want in a cozy breakfast and brunch spot. It has that classic diner feel—friendly, welcoming, and focused on hearty, satisfying food. The menu offers all the typical diner staples, but the standout for me was the blueberry pancakes. Honestly, they were the best I’ve ever had—fluffy, loaded with fresh berries, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The whole place has a warm, family-style atmosphere that makes you want to linger over your coffee. A true local gem for a comforting start to the day.

Today was maybe my 3rd time in… it’s a MUST Stop when we come to Wells. Today I had an ice coffee to pair with my Irish Benedict LOL. When I ordered the server asked me how I liked the eggs, Light (runny) Medium, or on the harder side. This is THE First ever person to ask me this! Thank you as I don’t like it too runny!! The HOMEMADE Corned Beef Hash was made with love and the English Muffin was toasted just right. All this for under $18. A great meal, homemade with Love, and a fair price. See you soon !!
Lee B — Google review
Food was good, coffee cake muffin best. Service great, as a solo traveler I always feel rushed by waitstaff to give up my table. Not here I felt as welcome and appreciated as a large family would have been. It's a small dinning area so this was a pleasant surprise. Would and probably will eat here again.
Tracey — Google review
The waitress (in a purple t-shirt on 10/4/25) was very rude and seemed put out and abrupt with us! First time here and our group will never be back! We had breakfast. No substitutions. My granddaughter only wanted French toast and bacon, but they couldn't be bothered to offer us a better option. She needed to order the whole $15 meal!! Crazy!! We were never offered refills on coffee. Had to ask for it. I have no idea how they're so busy. Maybe we were all first timers? Ugghh
Cam M — Google review
Horizons is really just your average diner, nothing necessarily spectacular or above average with the food or service. Every breakfast place it seems is already full by 9 and Horizons is no exception, so best to get there early unless you want a 30-60 minute wait! I am gluten free as well, and the server/kitchen are not super knowledgeable right off the bat about the ingredients, however they were diligent to check with me about them to ensure I had a gluten free experience as best as possible!

Rollover Cafe is a charming spot that offers a cozy atmosphere for breakfast and lunch. It's well-known for its pet-friendly patio, where you can enjoy gourmet coffee, pastries, and made-to-order wraps or sandwiches while your furry friend indulges in homemade dog treats. The cafe also offers a 'wolfie breakfast' for dogs. Located near Wells Beach, it's a great place to grab delicious muffins, lobster rolls, breakfast sandwiches, and refreshing beverages before heading to the beach.
I promise you won’t find a better place to get food as close to Wells beach than at Rollover Cafe! This spot has the best breakfast and lunch, and plenty of gluten free options as well. The staff is extremely friendly and hard working. You can tell as soon as you walk in that the staff and owners put in 100% effort to satisfy their customers. Also, now they sell beer, wine, and canned cocktails this year! I shared a mimosa tower with my friend that was an absolute steal for the price. My favorite breakfast item is the tail wager wrap, and my favorite lunch item is the Italian combo. Oh and the best part… BEACH DELIVERY!!!! You will not regret stoping by rollover cafe! :)

Rollover Cafe is a hidden gem in an amazing location right near Wells Beach! We absolutely loved starting our mornings with their flavored brewed iced coffee. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating of my vegan diet. The pretzel was fresh and delicious, and the fact that they even deliver to the beach is such a bonus! With an arcade just across the street and a playground next door, it’s the perfect spot for families. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Wells!

Just stopped in this morning for a breakfast sandwich. Sausage, egg & cheese on an English Muffin. The young man who was at the counter was very friendly. The sandwich I ordered was DELICIOUS !! Definitely stop in for a bite to eat if you are at Wells Beach. Excellent service & food.

Really glad we found this place, we've driven by before and never noticed it! It's a small spot with a few outdoor tables and just a stones throw to the beach. This would be a great first stop to pickup a picnic lunch to take to the beach, or enjoy at their tables. The staff is super friendly and it was clear they take pride in the food they are making, using some of their family recipes. Our order was cooked up very quickly and we enjoyed eating outside on the tables in the sun. The meatball sub was delicious with very flavorful meatballs (something you should expect, but isn't always the case these days)! The other wrap we tried, iced coffee and muffin were also very good. The restaurant is very neat and clean. Note this is a dog friendly spot, so feel free to bring your pup, as they have a special menu for them. There are also photos of the dogs who have visited inside. We only met one cute pup this visit!

The Paws-itive Vibe location is the place to be for an early morning latte and breakfast burrito! Cute, casual, and totally pet friendly! Super beach vibe and beautifully done! The location is well kept and clean, with a fresh makeover for the new summer season to come! The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. They timely and everything was fresh and flavorful. I ordered a large latte that was perfectly caffeinated and an absolute delight to drink. For breakfast I had "The Tail Wagger Wrap". The tail wagger was a deliciously fresh breakfast burrito with the perfect about of sautéed veggies, sausage, egg, and cheese!! Totally mouth watering to the point it left me wanting more!!!

Such a cute place right near Wells Beach. Great vibe. Super friendly service. Excellent food. Dine in or take out. We did both! This trip we had the meatballs and the Mediterranean Platter AND a 1/2 bottle of wine. All very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend !

This place is outrageous. We ended up stopping unexpectedly and it was Sunday brunch . AMAZING. The best homemade hash EVER. Everything is homemade including the hot sauce . HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My family and I were just here for a Mystery 207 dinner show, and it was great: plenty of parking, clean establishment, friendly staff, and great food. They also cater/accommodate dietary restrictions, which is amazing. My partner and I can’t eat gluten, and when we were kind of mentioning it to ourselves and standing in line for the buffet, a friendly gentleman came out from the back kitchen area to provide us gluten-free macaroni and cheese to go with our chicken. Later on in the evening while the staff was handing out desserts to the patrons, he came back out with gluten-free cheesecake for us. We really, truly appreciate the staff going out of their way for us, and we’ll definitely visit again soon. ❤️

Perkins Cove Kitchen is a charming and family-friendly entertainment district located around the cove, featuring locally-owned businesses. The restaurant offers outstanding dining experiences with professional staff and an impressive selection of wines. Dishes like lobster ravioli and baked brie with fruit are highly recommended. The service is top-notch, with waitstaff receiving high praise for their stellar performance. Guests have enjoyed delicious meals, such as mussels and Maine lobster ravioli served in a buttery white wine sauce.
The best mussels with pistachios!, I have ever had in my life! Orchid flowers on the top of the meals! “Brass alike” flatware! Very impressive! Superb service! Beautiful atmosphere at PCK! Beautiful outdoor patio! We will definitely go back again next summer! We will try their breakfast meals as well! Limited free parking spaces! What a find! We had breakfast here. Well made simple comfort foods. The staff were great and the atmosphere was comfortable but I can imagine it being a little packed in and tight during the busy months. The portions are huge, especially the sides. It's like a meal on its own. Enjoy!

The food was great with very good service from our waitress. The atmosphere was loud, but you still could have a conversation. They have outdoor eating with a wood fire pit Parking is very difficult to get a spot 😕 A very nice range of different people Would definitely go back again, don't forget to bring a thick wallet

What a terrific new restaurant! The chef used to be at bintliffs and then the crew but he is his best self here!! The food is creative but nothing too crazy and perfectly executed. The portions are enormous and the prices are hands down the best in town. The veggie burrito is inexplicably delicious as is everything else on the menu like the meaty corned beef hash, the perfect smoked salmon plate, and the refreshing watermelon and feta salad, which we got with jumbo grilled shrimp. The only note I had was that the lobster croissant, which was very delicious, could use better bread. The croissant itself was more like a regular bun (drier, not flaky) and I would say they’d be better off just using an actual bun or potato roll instead or get a more flaky croissant. Other than that, 10/10!!!

Went to Maine for girls weekend very first weekend of August. As you can imagine still a very busy place to be for vacation. We always wrap our trip up with brunch on the way out. All of your typical breakfast places had lines around the building and down the street. We kept driving, wanting to find a new place since the gem we found 2 years ago closed... and found this place. The menu...we had a hard time choosing🤤 the portions were very generous. The food was absolutely delicious. If you like corn beef...HIGHLY RECOMMEND the breakfast. We all shared a mimosa flight and bloody Marys. Both options were great! All the wait staff was so friendly. Ten out of ten!!!! We made plans to go back and try dinner soon!!!

We went for brunch today. I had Irish coffee, my wife had mimosa, then she ordered French toast and a fruit salad, I ordered a breakfast burrito and home fries. We really enjoyed everything! So happy to have found this awesome restaurant! Its added to our list of regular stops! Thank you!
J. R — Google review
The waitress had no idea what the items were on the menu. She appeared to be a young girl from another country who admitted that she was new. She literally did not know the difference between the tulip rolls they offered on the menu. She seems very confused about the items on the menu. When I asked for extra butter for my lobster, she brought me whole butter in a tin like you would put on bread. I couldn't believe my eyes. When I spoke to the sous chef/current manager on duty, I explained to her about the butter that's supposed to be on the lobster according to the menu she didn't even know anything about it. Specifically, the hot lobster roll was supposed to have butter with old seasoning. She said they don't use okd bay seasoning. I told her it's on the menu! She looked dumbfounded. She was very sweet, but looked about 20 years old. The choice of "housemaid chips" well, they gave me tortilla chips from a bag that taste like they're from the dollar store. I asked them why in the world they would give me tortilla chips from a bag instead of housemaid chips. They didn't even know what to say kind of shrugged their shoulders. Then I asked the manager and she said they ran out. Unacceptable! I was also told that there was just one person working in the kitchen and he was having a bad day. They did take the lobster roll off of the bill, but the bill was still almost $50 for blueberry pancakes, bacon and a bloody Mary.
Connie S — Google review
Four of us came for Sunday brunch in mid July 2024. We had a reservation and got right in. It seems like they discourage you from a table seating if you don’t have a reservation fyi. The dining room is small, but well decorated and inviting. My in-laws ordered the plank for two which came with blueberry pancakes, cheese, sausage, Tuscan eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes. Everything was delicious, expect the bacon was a bit chewy. We ordered a corned beef hash to share. It was good, but it was more like corned beef and potatoes not a hash. I ordered the original eggs benedict which were creamy and well seasoned. My husband had the crème brûlée French toast which he enjoyed. The two iced coffees I had were actual, delicious iced coffees, not hot coffee with ice in it that you get at some places. Overall, I think this is a good place for a special occasion, maybe when someone is in town, or you want to splurge a little bit. The food is pricey in my opinion.

I've been a frequent customer of Bread and Roses Bakery when I am visiting. Today they were out of scones and chai latte on a Sunday morning. I let another customer go ahead of me while I decided on something else. Decided on a cappuccino & almond croissant. Paid my bill and waited for my breakfast. Was given my cappuccino but no croissant. Asked the young lady who brought my drink. She replied they were out of almond croissants and it shouldn't be on my bill. Checked receipt and it wasn't. Why didn't the young lady who took my order tell me that. Now a long line and not waiting again. Normally this place is 5 stars but not this trip.

I ordered a quarter sheet mocha mousse cake for my wife's milestone birthday. We had about eighteen people and there was plenty to honor requests for seconds and into the next couple of days. It's a good thing because it got RAVE reviews. Many said it was the best cake they ever had. And the bakers did a beautiful job with the decorating. It was a great way to end the celebration. My late mother was a professional baker so I have a well trained sweet tooth and high expectations. This cake checked all the boxes. I'm going to refer to it as Death Row Cake because if I ever end up there this will definitely be on my last meal menu request.

Can't rave enough about this place. I'm from Philly and have been to many bakery/coffee shops in Maine since moving here. Bread and roses is by far my favorite. And honestly the pastries rival my favorite Italian bakeries back in Philly

The Blueberry and Cheese danish was amazing!! Unfortunately, our group ordered four hot drinks and three of the four were lukewarm and flavorless. We would not return for the coffee, but the danish was great.

Very small, likely a pop-up shop from the other bakery? They had a very lackluster selection, in a small footprint that appears to be ill prepared for the crowds they get. Ordered an egg and cheese croissant sandwich. I believe I was given one with veggie sausage (it's supposed to be an option, based on the menu - not the standard). I had to toss it out. Money wasted.

The Greenery Market & Bakery in Ogunquit is a must-visit for breakfast enthusiasts. Their Hintons Boston creme muffins are a delightful treat, perfectly blending flavors and textures. Avocado lovers will relish their mouthwatering avocado toast. The bakery offers an array of tempting muffins, with the Boston cream being described as moist and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness.
We stopped by the greenery market & bakery on our way through town. We enjoyed a quick breakfast, with the BLT breakfast sandwich, avocado toast and the pumpkin cheesecake muffin. The BLT sandwich was so delicious, with the best bread ever. The avocado toast was also perfect, with delicious seasoning on top. We all shared the pumpkin cream cheese muffin which was delectable & the perfect fall flavor.

I was so hungry I didn't take a pic of my breakfast!!! I had an avo toast and my husband had a BLT sandwich. Perfect!!! They have so many good looking muffins that is really hard to choose. They all look at you with those eyes saying "bring me home, I'll make you happy". I felt so cruel I could only pick 2: Boston cream: moist, creamy, it melts in your mouth. Right on sugar, rich flavour. Cinnamon bun: ok it was not a Muffin but it looked so tasty! And it really was! Rich, moist... I could eat tons of it! They also have: pistachio, strawberry cream, lemon popseed, chocolate, choco chip, pumpkin Creamcheese, coffee cake, and so many others... I'm planning to be back soon for that! All in the name of a nice review, of course! There's a place to park right behind it. Thank you guys for this awesome food experience.

Ordered two muffins - blueberry and raspberry almond. Both were excellent and flavorful and full of berries. The raspberry almond had just a touch of almond flavor in the muffin and a slight crunch from the almond topping. It was perfection. Highly recommend a stop here for one of their delicious baked items. Everything fresh and prepared on site. And great pricing too!

Our stay absolutely wonderful! The cottage was so cozy and comfortable, including the most incredible bed. From the bathroom amenities to the morning coffee delivery, every detail of my stay felt thoughtful and well taken care of. Everyone I interacted with went out of their way to be helpful and kind, and it really made the stay feel special. I will always recommend this property to anyone visiting Maine!

My partner and I had a magical getaway at The Dunes. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and welcoming. We stayed in a water view cottage and waking up to the sunrise over the water each morning from our patio was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and made the experience feel even more special. Each afternoon, we loved taking the cabana boat down to the beach—it was the perfect way to relax and soak up the serene atmosphere. In the evenings, gathering around the fire pit added such a cozy, thoughtful touch. We felt especially lucky to enjoy the stunning pool during our September stay—it was still warm enough to lounge and swim, and the setting was gorgeous. Overall, The Dunes offered the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and tranquility. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Dunes on the Waterfront is pure magic…a gorgeous slice of heaven that feels like stepping back in time to a place you never knew existed. Everything about this property radiates warmth, care, and timeless charm. Each morning begins with hot coffee, delicious pastries, and a peaceful view that simply can’t be matched. Even the soaps and self-care items smell divine. Truly every detail is so thoughtfully curated. The décor is top-tier, blending coastal elegance with cozy comfort, and the view of the water is nothing short of breathtaking. A very special thank you to Katie, the manager, who made my wedding weekend unforgettable. She went above and beyond, upgrading us to the Sandcastle, where I truly felt like a princess. We even took their boat down the river to my ceremony… it was absolutely stunning and straight out of a dream. I can’t recommend Dunes on the Waterfront enough. It’s not just a place to stay! The river is gorgeous when it's full and super fun to tromp around in when it's not. The cottages are cute and mostly well done. The food they provide is just enough if you don't want to leave the resort for breakfast or lunch. There is paddleboarding and kayaking which is super fun for all and a great way to get to the beach. The service was wonderful and it was super relaxing while still being active. It's only a 20 min walk to town. Our suggestions/concerns are: *Offer more gluten free options for breakfast and lunch. Most of Ogunquit is very gluten free and it seemed strange to us that The Dunes wasn't really. A few small changes, like different gluten free breakfast pastries (even fresh baked instead of packaged) and gluten free bread/rolls for sandwich choices would go a long way. *Our cottage did not have a central eating place where the five of us could share a meal comfortably. We were in 9 (Daydreamer), which was mostly lovely, but needed a larger table on the porch or outside (or both) *The heat didn't work in our cottage and there were various attempts to fix it all week that didn't work. Other than that, we LOVED it and will be back. Thank you Dunes!

My husband and I brought our kids here for the first couple of days of our fall break. We had never been to Maine but heard great things about Ogunquit. As soon as we checked in we already couldn’t wait to come back. This property is pristine and the little details, cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff are truly what make this a 5 star property. From the welcome champagne and cookies, to the complimentary snacks and drinks, to the morning delivery breakfast bag with coffee and pastries, this place runs like a well oiled machine. We had unseasonably warm weather for early October and my kids loved the pool and sitting at the bonfire at night enjoying the s’mores! Had we stayed longer I would have loved to take the little boat across the river at High Tide to check out the beach. Can’t wait to come back! Highly, highly, highly recommend. :)

We LOVED the Dunes! We stayed with our 2 young kids (6 and 3) and the two-bedroom cottage was ideal. We had beautiful water views, which were terrific all day and perfect for sunrise in the morning. The hotel is super peaceful and idyllic. They bring coffee and fresh pastries by in the morning, and complimentary drinks and snacks in each room. The all day cafe had great and light breakfast and lunch options. And the staff is all super friendly and eager to assist—with a ride, fresh towels at the pool, etc. Everyone on staff here is warm, friendly, and accommodating. They were great with the kids, too. We can’t wait to go back.

5 star service for everything! From the welcome champagne, to the breakfast treats delivered each morning, to the scenery, to the cottages....I would 100 recommend this place! So clean, the service was on point, and it was located near the downtown area. Many amenities, also...Bikes, water shuttle, heated pool, close walk to restaurants....Etc. Would love to go back!
