Guest house
B3 Bourne Bed and Breakfast is a charming and homey Victorian-style inn located in Ogunquit, Maine. It offers quaint rooms as well as a suite, along with amenities such as complimentary parking, a golf course, and a garden. The B&B is within walking distance of popular attractions like the beach and the regional theater 'Ogunquit Playhouse.' Guests can enjoy the cozy dining room, porch, and personalized service designed to make each stay memorable.
We had such a wonderful stay in mid-September. The hosts were so helpful when we had an unexpected delayed check-in. Breakfast was PHENOMENAL every morning, and all the guests enjoyed company with each other on the front porch. Our room was quaint, but perfect for two people. Walking distance to EVERYTHING in town, we cannot wait to come back again in the future.

There is no shortage of wonderful things to say about Bourne Bed and Breakfast. One, the breakfast is delicious, with fresh baked goods every morning: pumpkin bread, coconut cake, apricot scones, strawberry rhubarb cake, etc.! Two, the location is simply perfect for reaching downtown Ogunquit, Perkins Cove, and Marginal Way. Three, the whole property is spotless and tidy, including the backyard area with a hammock and picnic table. Four, Tina, Scott, and Alexis were very attentive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our five-night stay. Highly recommend!

I'll start with this: wow! This trip was my first time to Maine and a return trip for my sister and she said the location should be good. When we got here, to our delight we found it practically in the heart of the shopping district of Ogunquit and a 10-15 walk to Perkins Cove and Marginal way. My sister was amazed. We got a room on their third floor and it was beautiful! Its cozy while still being so roomy. We found a mini fridge, which was a great surprise and a beautiful shower and bathroom. The king size bed was just what we needed and comfortable. For anyone who struggles with stairs, I will caution, the house has pretty steep stairs. If that is an issue try to get the first floor rooms available. The breakfast was so good every morning and there was always snacks, coffee and little bake goods available. If we were coming in late we'd always check to see what homemade goodies were left out for guests. Also, there were little details that we didn't expect to be available like glass cups in the rooms for drinks or rinsing, beach towels, lawn chairs, beach umbrellas, a private room to get a little work done (if needed) and even a hammock in the back in a cute setup with Adirondack chairs, lights and a well manicured little garden nook. There is great attention to detail. We highly recommend B3 Bourne. It's so worth it!

Had the most lovely 5 night stay at B3! It has everything you need and a great central location. Walkable to everything and also along the trolley route. So quaint with nice outdoor seating areas. The room was perfect with a super comfortable firm bed. Tina’s baking is 10/10 with a different baked good every morning! Definitely a new annual tradition.
Lisa S — Google review
A beautiful, cozy, and friendly B&B. Tina and Scott were incredibly helpful and kept the space remarkably clean. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The price is worth every penny. Plus, Tina’s daily morning pastries are out of this world.
Eric C — Google review
Cozy B&B within walking distance to everything, classic New England charm. Tasty homemade baked goods and great coffee. Awesome all around!
Nathan D — Google review
We had a great experience. The rooms are lovely, the location is perfect, and the staff were very friendly. Will be back!!
Nick C — Google review
Tina and Scott are such nice folks and very welcoming. Their B&B is very clean and quiet, and close to downtown Ogunquit (and about an 18 minute walk to the beach and easily walkable on sidewalks). I admired their beautifully landscaped property while sitting in the Adirondacks in the grass and when eating breakfast on the front porch. Breakfast was so delicious, especially the pastries - different each day! It's obvious that Tina and Scott have a very high attention to detail with the experience they provide for their guests. They go the extra mile for their guests, and we will definitely be back! This is the perfect place for couples to stay in Ogunquit! I highly recommend it!

Immerse yourself in the quintessential New England B&B experience at Blue Shutters Inn and Studios, where traditional rooms with fireplaces await. Located in Ogunquit, this charming inn offers a pet-friendly Westport room with a separate entrance for your furry companion. Explore nearby attractions like Little Beach and Ogunquit Beach, or take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Marginal Way.
Great themed rooms, very clean and the Portland has every accommodation. You'd be crazy to miss the breakfast. Susan is genuine hospitality!

A boutique motel with a comfortable bed in an old building. The street is very quiet, though you can hear the rumblings of guests in other rooms and the machinations of the building. I think the shower was installed when my parents were children. Not typically a place I'd feel compelled to review, but the people were so lovely that I had to. Special shoutout to Susan: They had a vacancy but the room hadn't been cleaned. She turned it over on the spot (as the only person working when I came by), and gave it to me for a very fair price. The owner and the manager served breakfast, and they were both sweet as well. (It's a real homemade breakfast too!) They exhibit the kindness and consideration you got from Airbnb before it got taken over by real estate investors. If you want a cozy bed at a fair price and caring staff, this is a good choice.

My boyfriend and I went this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we just fell in love with this place! The location was perfect! Just a few steps from the Marginal Way with their own cute little path leading you there. Glen, Lawrence (the owners) and Tommy are wonderful hosts when Bentley their fur-baby isn’t stealing the show 🥰. We stayed in one of the lofts and were delighted with the beach chic decor and cleanliness. Not one special touch was missing to make you feel like you’re staying in luxury. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need and then some! Outside our room was a balcony with tables and chairs as well as a wonderful patio area with fire pit. The interior also has a nicely decorated common area with board games and fireplace for all to enjoy. Okay, let’s get to the good stuff… HAPPY HOUR! We so enjoyed the cocktails and goodies while getting to know the other guests. We couldn’t say enough about this lovely little gem and cannot wait to go back again!
Kristina Z — Google review
Our five-night stay at the Blue Shutters Inn was absolutely wonderful! Everyone went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel truly welcome. Susan is the heart of the Inn. She treated us like family. The entire property is spotless, beautifully decorated, and detail-oriented—every corner feels inviting and thoughtfully designed. The former owners, Laurence and Glen, created a magical place. The landscaping is beautiful and well cared for (be careful out there, Susan :) Their Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, and the coffee was great. We should have purchased Laurence’s cookbooks, everything looked so delicious in them. Next time!! The happy hour at the Trellis House was fun, and Dee was the perfect host. It was a nice way to meet other travelers and get a few more ideas about what to see in the area. The location of the Inn couldn’t be better, just steps to the Marginal Way, the beach, and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Leave your car at the Inn and walk everywhere. Don’t miss Maine’s sunrise, just steps away, on the Marginal Way, it’s breathtaking. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already planning our return. We wish the new owners, Annie and Gerard, the best of luck. They are a lovely couple. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon the Blue Shutters Inn when we were looking to come to Ogunquit for the first time and could not have been happier with our decision to stay here! From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed with open arms. Glen and Laurence are lovely and their dog Bentley is perfect. Every detail of our stay had a personal touch, from the welcome cookies and champagne to the bedtime sweet treats. It is a perfect location, mere minutes from downtown and the Marginal Way, and a short walk to the beach. The breakfast was outstanding and the daily happy hour was a wonderful addition to our already stellar stay. 10/10 would come again!
Sean R — Google review
If you asked me what my perfect day would be, my answer would be a full day at the Blue Shutters Inn. My wife and I just stayed for a full week for our 1 year wedding anniversary. I can’t even begin to explain how lovely the inn and its staff are. We stayed in the Boothbay room and were greeted with an anniversary cake and a note when we checked in. Our rooms were cleaned every day. Sweets were left out each night when we returned “home” (grab the magic bar and thank us later). We used the beach towels, bags, and chairs every single day. We sat by the fire pit, spent lots of quality time with Bentley, enjoyed happy hour and overall just had such an incredible time. But the breakfasts… the BREAKFASTS!!! Better than restaurant quality, perfect for unfussy foodies like us who love just about everything. Lawrence, Glen, Sue, Miss D - thank you so much for a wonderful time! Your meticulous care and love you put into crafting experiences for your guests is so apparent and very appreciated. Until next summer 💙

First time staying here and won't be the last. The room was spacious and well kept. The Inn is a 10 minute walk from downtown and maybe 20 minutes to Perkins cove via the Marginal way. It is only a 5 minute walk to 'little beach' nestled within the rocks. Hosts were fantastic, very attentive to the guests. The breakfasts were awesome, my wife purchased the Inn's cookbook. They even went so far as to provide us with a little Anniversary cake!
Jim B — Google review
We booked the Kittery Room for a last minute, one night anniversary trip and had a great time. We checked in around 5:30 and Glen gave us a brief tour of the property, a glass of champagne, and showed us to our room. I ordered a wine package that was waiting in our room when we arrived which was delicious. We also were pleasantly surprised that a little cake was waiting for us as well for our anniversary, which in all honesty was one of the best vanilla cakes I've ever had. The Kittery room seems to be one of their smaller rooms but it was plenty spacious for the two of us. The room and the on-suite bathroom were both clean and wonderfully decorated. In the morning we had a country boy breakfast (eggs, sausage wrapped in pastry, potatoes, a grilled tomato) which was, like the wine package and cake, amazing. In addition their coffee was really good. During breakfast Bentley, the owner, checked in with us to make sure our food and accommodations were satisfactory. He was so professional and was really attentive in making sure the floor of the breakfast room remained clean and tidy. He even gracefully took a short break from his busy work schedule and allowed us to get a picture (shown here). The whole staff was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. We've already talked about going back again next year or even going for a long weekend in the fall. The price was very reasonable as well.

Nestled in the picturesque Ogunquit, the Inn at Perkins Cove (formerly Hartwell House Inn) is a delightful bed and breakfast that exudes charm and elegance. Guests can indulge in beautifully appointed rooms and suites adorned with antiques, offering a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. Each accommodation features modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, coffee-making facilities, and luxurious bathrooms complete with walk-in showers and plush bathrobes.
My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Perkins Cove for the first time this past weekend with two of our friends. Our whole experience exceeded our expectations. We communicated with Norman via text message before meeting him in person at breakfast our first morning at the Inn. He made us feel very welcomed while we were there. The rooms were very cozy and clean, and our bed was very comfortable! The Inn provided beach chairs and towels for us, so it was nice to not have to worry about bringing those. The location is a very short walk to Perkins Cove, which was just what we were looking for. There is a wonderful restaurant right at the Inn and breakfast is provided with your stay. The food exceeded our expectations - some of the best breakfast meals we have had in a very long time. We also sat out by the fire pit and enjoyed cocktails one night which was nice. We look forward to returning here in the future!

-Room was 4.5 (with some minor issues and one safety issue which I hope is fixed for future guests) and mentioned to innkeeper. -Breakfast and breakfast service was meh (I miss the former Hartwell House breakfasts). -Service was not up to inn par especially for a Select Registry Property. I found it interesting that one recent reviewer mentioned the innkeeper was helpful on advising on local restaurants (maybe she was just having a bad couple of days?). It would have been nice to have been asked how our stay was at least once or even an inquiry about could we be helped finding anything or suggestions on places to eat or things to do as it raining for one of the days we were there. In 40 years working in hospitality I've never met an innkeeper so disengaged with their guests. Hospitality 101. So much for the nice anniversary stay.
Heather T — Google review
I stayed here back in July using gift cards I was gifted during Covid and some of my own money. When I got there the inn keeper didn’t know how to give me back credit since the room had to be held on my credit card so I said don’t worry to the flustered girl we will get it figured out, by the time I left it wasn’t figured out. Then 5 months go by of phone tag with this new owner saying how sorry he is, it’s busy season, he sees I’m owed the money and he is mailing a check. 2 weeks go by and no check so I call again and he apologizes and says he will look into it, then the day before Christmas I get a text saying I am not owed anything but they will send a gift card for $15, not the $240 I’m owed. I called back after the holidays and was told if I can show the gift cards “which they took” then I can get it back. For 6 months you led me on, led me to believe that I would get the money back, it was over $240 which is a lot. I trusted your word and was nice and patient for 6 months for you to pull that on me. You even told me the exact amount that I was owed at one point, over the phone unfortunately. It’s not even that you are a small business struggling, you own multiple inns in Ogunquit. I used to love this place when it was owned by the old owners, they were just amazing but this new owner should be ashamed of himself. Mind you this, when I booked my vacation here it was still with the original owners and there was no talk of change in ownership, an email was sent out a month before my stay announcing it, long after it had booked. My gift cards should of been honored no matter what they were and I should of been given back my money.

This was our 5th stay and we were once again reminded why we keep coming back. Katie and Janet were wonderful keepers of the Inn, as were the serving staff from the restaurant. Immaculate accommodations, very attentive staff and great location. Plan to be back next year for visit #6!

Nice big room with sitting area, comfortable bed and pillows. Good size bath. Breakfast was a little lacking but probably due to COVID. Didn’t care for the egg sandwich. Great location walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, Ungunquit playhouse, Perkins Cove, marginal way. A pretty far walk to the beach.

Awesome place! Delicious food, clean, and with exceptional hospitality and service. 5 stars. (We didnt stay at the Inn, just stopped in for breakfast.)
Rango D — Google review
The website says (Note: In the Spring of 2022, we are undergoing renovations, so room colors, furnishings, and decor may be different from pictured until we are able to update pictures online.) I called to see what the rooms look like now. No one answers the phone. The voicemail is a voicemail for five guest houses. So if someone calls any of these five guest houses, no one is going to answer. I thought this was a fluke, so I tried back, and tried back and tried back over a couple hours. No answer, and no call back. The voice of the voicemail did call me back three hours later. He was nice and professional. He indicated he is the only person running all five entities listed on the voicemail. He said they've just purchased Hartwell House Inn. When I noted the website about renovations, he said yes the rooms have changed, he said "they are more modern." I waited for more specifics, he said they are "comfortable, well furnished." I laughed, I said "you don't sound very enthusiastic." Thats when he said he runs all five places so he was a bit distracted. I ended up liking him. But for now you're not going to know what the rooms look like and you're not going to be able to get a hold of them if you want to know anything about the place. Since they are renovating, I would think people will need to contact the place by phone for clarification. People are booking them anyway though, so maybe it's a regulars kind of place.
Tim — Google review
We enjoyed an ideal holiday season weekend getaway at the Hartwell House Inn. The room was elegant and oh so comfortable; and the breakfasts delighted us. It's just minutes by foot to the shops, restaurants, walking trails, and the beach. The innkeepers and staff clearly take great pride in their hospitality and attention to detail.

Nestled in the heart of Ogunquit, The Inn on Shore Road is a delightful retreat that captures the essence of Maine's coastal charm. This cozy inn offers inviting accommodations complete with air conditioning and private bathrooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. Guests can indulge in complimentary breakfast each morning before exploring nearby attractions like Ogunquit Beach and Little Beach, both just a short stroll away.
Spent the weekend here and loved the entire experience. Our room was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was served in a small picnic basket and was delicious. Abby, the innkeeper, had prepared the meal. The proximity to the center of town was very convenient. Parked the car for the weekend and never had to use it. Highly recommend this charming inn.

Just recently rented the Inn for my husbands 60th Birthday weekend celebration. The Inn is beautiful, has a high end luxury feel, yet is comfy and cozy. All of our guests loved their rooms and the communal feel. A huge shoutout to Lisa the innkeeper! Her hospitality, friendly demeanor, and amazing breakfast each day, set the tone for a relaxed and fun filled weekend. Cannot recommend the Inn on Shore Road enough! Thank you for a most memorable weekend.

We've been staying at this Inn for many years and have always cherished its charm, peaceful atmosphere, and the beautifully maintained grounds that made sitting outside a real pleasure. It's been a place we've returned to time and again because it always felt like a special retreat. On our most recent visit, now under new ownership, we noticed that the once meticulously cared-for grounds have unfortunately deteriorated. The landscaping looked unkempt and lacked the natural beauty that used to be one of the Inn’s standout features. This is why I gave an overall rating of 4 stars. That said, the rooms remain just as clean, cozy, and well maintained as ever. The true highlight of our stay was Abby, the Innkeeper. Her warmth, hospitality, and genuine care for guests make us feel like part of the family. She is an incredible asset to the Inn and a big reason we will continue to return. We sincerely hope the new owner will invest in restoring the grounds to their former beauty, so the Inn can once again offer the full experience we've come to love. Sam & Denise

We had previously stayed at the Inn's sister property (Moon Over Maine) for yearly vacations and knew we wanted to invite our family to stay with us at one of the OGT Inns for our wedding. We worked with innkeeper Abby to book out the entire place for our close family over the weekend and it was wonderful. Abby was SO accommodating of all the family's various needs, from dietary restrictions to grandparents' mobility impairments. As always the hospitality was above and beyond and we will be back!

This year was our 3rd year staying here and we LOVE everything about it. The staff is amazing (thanks, Abby!), the location is perfect, the rooms are great AND they are pet friendly. Definitely a 5 stars from us

This was our first time staying at this Inn. We have been coming to Ogunquit for over 30 years and we recently gained a puppy to our family and the Inn welcomes dogs. Well much to our surprise the room was nice and very clean, the staff was GREAT and FRIENDLY!! We can't wait to go back. Also, a great place to eat is Cafe Prego.

As mentioned by others, beautiful inn, fabulous location with easy access to restaurants, shops, Marginal Way, and more. Our room had a very nice private balcony where we could sit and watch the action on the street below. Nice garden and enclosed porch in front.

Wow, what a gem! Ogunquit has long been our favorite spot but this was the first time we stayed at Beacon Light Guest House. Wonderful location with a short walk to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, downtown shops & restaurants. The beach is walk-able but if you have a lot to carry, just call the Beach Caddie (golf cart cab -Stacey!). The house itself is charming and cozy and our room was quite comfortable. It's obvious there is great attention to the cleaning and upkeep of this property. The real standout from other places we've stayed in the area was the exceptional hospitality. Marsha is a treasure! She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. It was a pleasure meeting Robert, the owner, as we were leaving. No doubt we will be back next year!

Beaconlight was our home base for our Ogunquit elopement and what an incredible spot! Marsha was beyond sweet and accommodating. The home was designed beautifully and impeccably clean. Location was ideal - easy to walk to both Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and downtown. We will be back! <3

We spent a glorious week in Ogunquit at the Beaconlight guest house. Robert and Marsha, our hosts, created a welcoming and comfortable environment making us feel immediately at home. Their location, just around the corner to Perkins Cove and the beginning of the Marginal Way, allowed us to park the car for the majority of our stay, as they are also an easy 1/2 mile to the main village district and Ogunquit Beach. We enjoyed an ever changing variety of fresh fruit and pastries every morning, eating them out on the back porch, as well as coffee, water, and snacks throughout the day. All of the rooms are nicely decorated with private baths and TVs. We were able to walk to a variety of different restaurants or get freshly made salads, chowder, or sandwiches at the Village Market (strongly recommend) and bring it back to the guesthouse with a bottle of wine to enjoy in a more private setting. Marsha always left out plates and silverware each night for the guests, including wine glasses. It felt like visiting friends.

We had a great experience at Beaconlight. The room and B&B were spotless, comfortable, and well cared for. They made us feel very welcome, and we are already thinking about booking our next trip back. The location is very close, as in around the corner, from a great restaurant and very close to Perkin's cove. The southern entrance to the Marginal Way is at the cove, which is a great community asset to walk along the seacoast, hang out for a while, and watch the waves crash over the rocks. Downtown is very walkable from the B&B, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy.
Paul D — Google review
Robert and Marsha were the greatest hosts ever. From our late arrival, after many delayed flights to making sure we had every thing we needed to be comfortable every day of our trip, this place is AWESOME. A fire was burning when we arrived, the candy dishes were stocked full, and there were snacks galore. We stayed in room #6 with a very comfortable king size bed. The linens were plush and the pillows were perfect. I tend to need a fan at night and they were so accommodating in all regards. Blueberries and coffee cake for breakfast was a wonderful start to the morning. Their are so many beautiful touches to this bed and breakfast. One of my favorite spaces was the outdoor patio. It was filled with so many gorgeous flowers. The rain seemed to only make everything more magical. Will stay here again, hopefully sooner than later. I highly recommend this spot. It's only a 3-5 minute walk to Perkins Cove, definitely go there.

I can't say enough good things about our weekend stay at the Beacon Light. Our hosts were warm, friendly, and completely welcoming. The house was immaculately clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The breakfasts were bountiful and delicious, and there were snacks and drinks everywhere around the clock. The rooms were quiet, very private, and the beds were as comfortable as clouds. We had a wonderful time, thanks to our wonderful hosts. It was hard to leave. We will definitely stay there again.

The Old Village Inn, affectionately known as OVI, is a historic establishment offering homey rooms and suites along with an English pub and a fine dining restaurant. The warm tavern-style interior welcomes all visitors, whether they choose to dine in the pub or bistro. Both areas offer classic comfort food presented beautifully. Reservations are recommended, but casual diners are equally welcome. This B&B provides year-round lodging with many rooms offering scenic views of the ocean and Ogunquit River.
We had such a brilliant time at The Old Village Inn in Bembridge. The menu has a fantastic range of proper pub favourites and every dish we tried was absolutely spot on – generous portions and full of flavour. Andy and his staff couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming, creating a lovely relaxed vibe throughout. The atmosphere is just perfect – warm, buzzing, and full of character. A real gem of a pub that we’ll definitely be coming back to! Lots of love from the thick as folk on table 15

Nice restaurant, lovely interior. I haven’t been to the old one so I can’t compare to that. The lobster and grits were great. Feels classy enough for a date. Not great for kids or families — they certainly will make an effort to accommodate food for kids based off whatever is available in the kitchen, but if you have picky kids in your party you may have an easier time somewhere else.

This unassuming restaurant blends into the facade of the other buildings but its far more interesting and delightful inside. From the sophisticated bar area and cozy fireplace setting, the dining room is open and airy. Its comfortable and tastefully designed. The service was friendly and casual, like dining at a friend’s house. The drinks perfect and the dishes superb with great portions, flavorful, and balanced. Absolutely loved it!!

Great location, close to the beach with easy parking. Lots of excitement and amenities in the heart of a cozy, busy beach town. The food was AMAZING, the chef and team were very accommodating, aware, and attentive. I had an amazing experience after the new opening. Shout out to Josh and Molly! Highly recommend!

This review is for the restaurant. The service and food were outstanding. Even though it was a Monday, we had a special birthday dinner in their lovely restaurant. We had no idea they had such a great bar there too so next time we will go to the bar for a cocktail first. It was another wonderful experience in Ogunquit.

My family absolutely adored the Old Village Inn under previous ownership. It was quaint, maybe a little outdated, but the staff was always pleasant, food was amazing at the restaurant and you can't beat that location for an overnight stay. Unfortunately, we are less than impressed with new ownership. When attempting to use a gift certificate given to us shortly before the ownership change, we were told the gift certificates would not be honored. This was after multiple phone calls to ask about this, and never receiving phone calls back. At one point we were told to email a copy of the gift certificate to the owner (it was a paper certificate) but that email was also not returned. When doing research, we found that gift certificates in Maine can have no expiry, and most cases would be a deferred liability during the sale of a business that usually is honored as a good business practice. No such luck here. We are actually very disappointed in this, as many of our family and friends loved spending weekends here. We will have to look for another spot to call our home away from home from now on (too bad we're out $1000 though)

Driving down the Maine coast line we decided to stop in Ogunquit to see the town and wander about. The Old Village Inn was just an average Inn to spend the night. No breakfast is available, but there is the Village Market a few steps away that served coffee and breakfast. The rooms sit about the bar and restaurant so the noise level is very high until closing time around 10 pm. We were on the second floor with a room above us letting us hear the walking and moving about upstairs. The room was compact with a king size bed and a small bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The Wifi is really weak, maybe getting 2 bars most of the time. Overall, not a bad spot to spend the night for the $107 we spent.

Absolutely amazing food and service. The pear and goat cheese salad is to die for and one of the best salads I ever had! My scallop entree and drink were also very tasty and flavorful. Will definitely return to this gem when we make another trip to Ogunquit.

The Dunes on the Waterfront offers a relaxed stay in its rooms and cottages situated by the waterfront. The property features a seasonal outdoor pool and a dock, making it easy to access the beach. The hotel is pet-friendly, providing amenities like pet towels, an outdoor pet shower, and cozy blankets for your furry friends. With 12 acres of landscaped grounds bordering an Ogunquit tidal estuary, guests can enjoy rowboats at the dock and a heated pool.
Our stay absolutely wonderful! The cottage was so cozy and comfortable, including the most incredible bed. From the bathroom amenities to the morning coffee delivery, every detail of my stay felt thoughtful and well taken care of. Everyone I interacted with went out of their way to be helpful and kind, and it really made the stay feel special. I will always recommend this property to anyone visiting Maine!

My partner and I had a magical getaway at The Dunes. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and welcoming. We stayed in a water view cottage and waking up to the sunrise over the water each morning from our patio was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and made the experience feel even more special. Each afternoon, we loved taking the cabana boat down to the beach—it was the perfect way to relax and soak up the serene atmosphere. In the evenings, gathering around the fire pit added such a cozy, thoughtful touch. We felt especially lucky to enjoy the stunning pool during our September stay—it was still warm enough to lounge and swim, and the setting was gorgeous. Overall, The Dunes offered the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and tranquility. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Dunes on the Waterfront is pure magic…a gorgeous slice of heaven that feels like stepping back in time to a place you never knew existed. Everything about this property radiates warmth, care, and timeless charm. Each morning begins with hot coffee, delicious pastries, and a peaceful view that simply can’t be matched. Even the soaps and self-care items smell divine. Truly every detail is so thoughtfully curated. The décor is top-tier, blending coastal elegance with cozy comfort, and the view of the water is nothing short of breathtaking. A very special thank you to Katie, the manager, who made my wedding weekend unforgettable. She went above and beyond, upgrading us to the Sandcastle, where I truly felt like a princess. We even took their boat down the river to my ceremony… it was absolutely stunning and straight out of a dream. I can’t recommend Dunes on the Waterfront enough. It’s not just a place to stay! It is an experience, a feeling, a moment in time you’ll never want to leave. I can’t wait to return.

Highly recommend staying at the Dunes on the Waterfront during your visit to Maine. The customer service was top notch. We arrived to freshly baked cookies and champagne. Pastries and coffee were delivered each morning for breakfast. The cute little details didn’t go unnoticed. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and left with memories that we’ll always treasure.

We just had a fantastic stay at The Dunes! I recommend it very highly. It's beautiful and the location is fantastic. The river is gorgeous when it's full and super fun to tromp around in when it's not. The cottages are cute and mostly well done. The food they provide is just enough if you don't want to leave the resort for breakfast or lunch. There is paddleboarding and kayaking which is super fun for all and a great way to get to the beach. The service was wonderful and it was super relaxing while still being active. It's only a 20 min walk to town. Our suggestions/concerns are: *Offer more gluten free options for breakfast and lunch. Most of Ogunquit is very gluten free and it seemed strange to us that The Dunes wasn't really. A few small changes, like different gluten free breakfast pastries (even fresh baked instead of packaged) and gluten free bread/rolls for sandwich choices would go a long way. *Our cottage did not have a central eating place where the five of us could share a meal comfortably. We were in 9 (Daydreamer), which was mostly lovely, but needed a larger table on the porch or outside (or both) *The heat didn't work in our cottage and there were various attempts to fix it all week that didn't work. Other than that, we LOVED it and will be back. Thank you Dunes!

My husband and I brought our kids here for the first couple of days of our fall break. We had never been to Maine but heard great things about Ogunquit. As soon as we checked in we already couldn’t wait to come back. This property is pristine and the little details, cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff are truly what make this a 5 star property. From the welcome champagne and cookies, to the complimentary snacks and drinks, to the morning delivery breakfast bag with coffee and pastries, this place runs like a well oiled machine. We had unseasonably warm weather for early October and my kids loved the pool and sitting at the bonfire at night enjoying the s’mores! Had we stayed longer I would have loved to take the little boat across the river at High Tide to check out the beach. Can’t wait to come back! Highly, highly, highly recommend. :)

We LOVED the Dunes! We stayed with our 2 young kids (6 and 3) and the two-bedroom cottage was ideal. We had beautiful water views, which were terrific all day and perfect for sunrise in the morning. The hotel is super peaceful and idyllic. They bring coffee and fresh pastries by in the morning, and complimentary drinks and snacks in each room. The all day cafe had great and light breakfast and lunch options. And the staff is all super friendly and eager to assist—with a ride, fresh towels at the pool, etc. Everyone on staff here is warm, friendly, and accommodating. They were great with the kids, too. We can’t wait to go back.

5 star service for everything! From the welcome champagne, to the breakfast treats delivered each morning, to the scenery, to the cottages....I would 100 recommend this place! So clean, the service was on point, and it was located near the downtown area. Many amenities, also...Bikes, water shuttle, heated pool, close walk to restaurants....Etc. Would love to go back!

Nestled in a beautifully restored farmhouse dating back to 1847, the Gazebo Inn Ogunquit is an upscale bed and breakfast that promises a serene escape. With amenities like a seasonal outdoor pool, sauna, gym, and hot tub, guests can unwind in style. This charming inn is perfect for romantic getaways or family vacations and is conveniently located near the beach.
Our experience at the Gazebo Inn was once again first class. We consider it our home away from home when staying in Maine. Scott and Peter provide superior service to start the day with their wonderful breakfast. The staff (Missy, Shawn and Luther) grace the property with hospitality and friendship. This year, we were lucky to stay through Ogunquit’s Christmas by the Sea. The Inn provided a Saturday brunch that set the tone for the weekend. Their appreciation for their guests is evident in their total operation. I can’t think of any other place to stay while visiting Ogunquit. You’re not staying in a B&B. You’re staying with friends.

What a beautiful establishment. The staff are absolutely some of the nicest people I have ever met. The amenities were wonderful and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We have been vacationing in Ogunquit for over 30 yrs. Several times a year and we will definitely be back!

I’d love to keep this place a secret, but that wouldn’t be fair to what they’ve done to make this place so special. We are from Michigan and visited September 11-14. We walked everywhere. We enjoyed our walks on the beach and through Ogunquit. Our room, Barn suite #2, was so amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was quite impressive. That was the big draw for the room. That shower was huge and we used the steam as well. You don’t want to miss out on the cookies they put out in the afternoon. They were delicious. The breakfast is also delightful. I can’t say enough about the hot tub either. It’s massive and the pool area is design with serenity in mind. We ate our lunch there each day and hung out at the pool for the afternoon. My husband a I plan to visit again. Even if it’s just a long weekend. We like to try it in the winter. There was not one thing that we could possibly criticize. The entire staff is awesome. Thank you for everything.

Scott and the entire Gazebo team are awesome. Its a beatiful inn, the customer service is top notch, breakfast was delicious and the variety outstanding, thanks Peter. The lobby has a bar for your own BYOB and there is a drink of the day that Scott or Peter create. Fresh cookies and scones are put out daily. Scott took us on a tour of the property when we arrived, which was very helpful. The pool was still open and 🔥 hot tub was relaxing. We will be back, we found our place. Thanks Gazebo Team.

The Gazebo Inn was the most magical B&B we’ve ever stayed at! The decor was charming, customer service friendly, pool & hot tub gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious! If you can, I would definitely suggest adding on the romance package, as having a car service take us to the dinner reservation made us feel extra special. I can’t say enough good things about our stay & would highly recommend them to everyone!

First time guests but can’t wait till next time! Appreciated the personal touch of being greeted by Scott upon arrival. We enjoyed his delicious home cooked breakfasts on the patio each morning and took advantage of the perfect weather Scott ordered for our stay 😉 including using the pool and hot tub. Walkable to town, the beach, and restaurants for dinner. Though adults only, it served as the perfect base while visiting our son’s family who were staying nearby. Looking forward to a repeat visit next year! Thanks Scott!

We've lost count on how many times we've been to the Gazebo. It is always a pleasure to stay there. Scott and Peter are the consummate hosts. The breakfasts are amazing; my favorite is the breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit. Our room is very comfortable. The heated spa/pool is a perfect way to soothe our muscles after a busy day at the beach boogie boarding. Also, it's a short walk to downtown and all of the great restaurants. This year we were there twice. Once in June with our kids and their wives and then just last week. Already booked for next year!!!

Nellie Littlefield Inn & Spa is a welcoming and adult-only bed and breakfast located in Ogunquit, Maine. It features two outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, and delicious baskets of breakfast.
This is our second year spending our wedding anniversary at the Nellie Littlefield Inn and we just love it! From making our reservation, to checking in, to enjoying our beautiful room, we had the perfect weekend! We had wonderful beach walks and great meals; all within minutes of the Inn! We can't say enough about how wonderful Gina is! She greeted us so warmly and made us feel so welcomed. She made our room extra welcoming as well, including some pretty daffodils to greet us. She also reacquainted us with the Inn. Gina's daily baking treats to enjoy in the afternoon and her absolutely delicious breakfasts made our visit just perfect! We can't recommend this Inn enough and will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience! This bed and breakfast was right in the heart of town and was an easy walk to many shops and restaurants as well as the Marginal Way and Perkins Cove. The room we had was wonderfully appointed with a cute little balcony to enjoy our wine on. Rhonda was amazing and very attentive. She made delicious scrambled eggs for me when I mentioned my dietary restrictions. The Inn was quiet, clean, and very accommodating. I will absolutely go back and visit the spa that they have downstairs.

My husband and I had the most wonderful, cozy weekend at the Nellie Littlefield Inn in Ogunquit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality—especially from Jena, our incredible innkeeper. She made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We stayed in Room 5, which was absolutely beautiful and had a spa-like bathroom where we could see the ocean right from the window—such a peaceful and romantic touch. The room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The inn is in the perfect location—walking distance to the beach, the Marginal Way, and all the charming shops and restaurants downtown—yet it still feels tucked away and peaceful. We loved enjoying the inviting common areas, and the homemade breakfast each morning was delicious (Jena’s attention to detail really shines!). This was everything we hoped for in a romantic weekend getaway. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend the Nellie Littlefield Inn for anyone looking for a special, relaxing retreat in beautiful Ogunquit.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming inn! Rhonda’s attention to detail made all the difference—from thoughtful amenities like beach chairs, towels, and wagons to having our breakfast baskets ready each morning, complete with our preferred drinks. She even remembered our daily activities and carried on the warmest conversations. Each afternoon, Rhonda had a freshly baked sweet treat and fruit-infused water waiting, which was such a lovely touch to come home to after a day out. When we had a small maintenance issue, Rhonda immediately had the handyman on site, which was quickly resolved. The location is perfect—an easy walk to the beach, Perkins Cove, and plenty of restaurants. We loved relaxing with card games and drinks on the side patio, front lawn, and hot tub area. Parking was easy, and we always felt safe with the secure entry. Highly recommend this inn for future visits thanks to its excellent amenities and Rhonda’s outstanding hospitality!

We cannot say enough positive things about our stay. From the moment we arrived and met Innkeeper Rhonda to the day we left, we felt at home for 4 days. Freshly cooked breakfast everyday(not continental) presented in a sweet basket for you to eat in the common dining area or your room and then freshly baked treats for afternoon snacks. The room (book Room 8) was phenomenal, great water pressure and heat, comfy beds and Keurig in the room! Smack in the middle of town so easy walk to the beach, shops and dining. But what really made this magical was our new friend for life Rhonda incredible cook, baker and host; she made the stay for us. Stop looking for a place to stay and boom here!

Five stars across the board. Rhonda was the absolute best, so thoughtful and warm. She made sure we had everything we needed and had so many special details around the inn. Tea time is especially so quaint! Can't wait to come back.

I won't stay at Nellie Littlefield one more time....because I hope to stay 10 more times! I won't stay anyplace else in Ogunquit. The Inn has it all. Fitness Center (maybe call it a workout room but you can still get a great workout), plunge pool (where I spend most of my time) a very relaxing living room where you can sit late at night and read. And above all, comfortable and quiet rooms. Rhonda is a tremendous Innkeeper. She pays attention to every detail and is very personable. I might add that Rhonda is a great cook. I enjoyed breakfast every morning. I plan on returning next year to the Nellie. I hope that Rhonda is still the Innkeeper.

Wonderful Inn, perfectly located to enjoy the goings on of Ogunquit. Rhonda, the innkeeper, took wonderful care of us and make us feel very welcome. Just spent 4 days here and it was awesome! Location is perfect. Walk to downtown, many restaurants. Beach is about a 15 minute walk. Beach is beautiful. I really liked this place. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms spacious, the grounds well maintained. It's within easy walking distance of shopping and lots of restaurants. There are lawn games you can use plus 2 heated pools and a small hot tub. The only downside is that you can hear people walking around on the unit above. It's not loud but there.

We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back.. we loved our welcome drinks, the location, & the price. 5 min walk to town and delicious restaurants right across the street..The room was comfortable and very clean.. My daughter loved the indoor and outdoor pools! Swimming outside at the end of September is fabulous. My only 2 issues.. lots of walking noise heard above our room…the other frustration was that once we were checked out (11am) we had planned stay in town for a full day.. my daughter was hoping to swim for one last time before having to take off and we were disappointed that we weren’t allowed to use the facilities.. most hotels I’ve stayed at allow this.. considering you pay for two nights and you don’t even get a full 48 hrs stay..would have been nice to use the pool one last time.. otherwise zero issues and we would stay again!

Our experience at Jennifer Hill was good. We were able to check in a little early and we even stayed an extra day as we were offered a great deal. The rooms are big and clean and the amenities are nice. There is no breakfast but they do have coffee and tea available all day. There was a huge RV taking up 6 spots so parking proved challenging as there were not lots of spots to park and we drove around the property a few times until a spot became available. Check out is at 11 but we received a text around 10 asking when we were checking out which annoyed us bc we gave additional business and felt like we were being rushed. Overall, it was a lovely experience. The pools were nice and always busy until around 5 to 7 pm while people were at dinner. We would stay again.

This place definitely has an old Americana motel feel to it. I’ll be honest, when we first arrived, I wasn’t too sure. It is nothing fancy, but the room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Close enough to the downtown area, beach, and the Marginal Way.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It had everything we needed. We liked it so much, we extended our stay. Very clean. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. A very nice touch. Pools and hot tubs are great. Indoor and outdoor. Quick walk to town. Our reservation attendant was super accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay again when we return to Ogunquit.

This hotel is clean and quiet. Perfect location too. My husband accidentally left a treasured neckchain by the pool. He thought he'd never see it again. Didn't realize until we got home. They looked for it and found it and mailed it to our home. Very much appreciated.

This is a lovely little place, and the location is super convenient to the beach and to the shops and such in town. The only thing that would make it better would be to have a bar or restaurant on the property. But it was a great place to stay and connect with friends we hadn’t seen in a long time.

Situated less than 1 km from Footbridge Beach, this 4-star inn offers free private parking, a business center, and free WiFi.
This place genuinely just saved my vacation. My partner and I decided to stay at a different inn to save a few bucks, and quickly realized that was a terrible mistake! We had been to The Milestone six or so months ago, so we decided (in the middle of the night last night) to see if there was any occupancy, and there was! We booked a room for basically twelve hours in the future, and we're so happy we did. Thankfully, it's just as nice as we remembered. It's air conditioned, clean, quiet, and quite spacious for the price. Definitely worth the money!

We enjoyed our stay here. Room 401 was quite nice and had plenty of space. There was a microwave and fridge which was super useful during our stay. The rooms are amazingly clean which I appreciate. The staff is also super friendly. I heard multiple staff singing on numerous occasions which was endearing. It's a cold breakfast. Nothing special. It suffices but don't expect anything fancy. The pool is on the smaller side but it works and it's clean. It was a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again.

My friend and I really loved this hotel, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Prices were reasonable. Easy access to everything, perfect for our short beach trip. We will definitely book here again and recommend to friends and family. A special mention to Sabrina who really came through for us when our plans changed last minute. She went out of her way so that my friend and I were happy and we really appreciated her. Dealing with employees like Sabrina when something unplanned comes up is just a rare thing these days. Thanks again Sabrina!! From Julie & Nikki

The rooms are clean, but has a smell to it. Good location in and out. Breakfast, bad, coffee was Hazelnut, marked regular, package sweets were over dry and disgusting. Went to the egg & I 2 doors down. Pool and area looked very clean.

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly and polite. The room was beautiful and quiet - even with people in the rooms on each side of us. The vast lawn with Adirondack chairs makes it seem peaceful, even though it is on a busy street. There is a pool, but others told us the water was cold (a young boy was having a blast, though - but he did it was cold, too. Continental breakfast was cold (toaster for toast and bagels and hot water provided for instant oatmeal) but selection was fine and all was fresh. The only negative to me was having to haul my luggge up the front steps and then up to the second floor, but even with that I’d stay there again.

What a gem! This historic hotel has been done up to include all the modern features, but with the charm and elegance of former days. Beautiful hardwood floors, lovely ocean views, rockers on the porch, hot cookies or an ice cream bar and some of the friendliest, most helpful staff around. Everyone was quick to smile and offer a hand or advice. Steps from Marginal Way and the trolley stop. Pool maintained for those who don’t like to get sandy. The bed was lovely after a day of exploring, and the bath products (Salt and Stone) smell divine!

Charming, quirky old inn. The service was great and the fresh cookies and drinks in the lobby appreciated. The room was large but awkwardly cramped, the bathroom needed refreshing, and the walls were very thin (i.e., it was noisy). It is nicely situated to walk downtown, cliff walk, etc. Breakfast was OK, nothing exceptional. Overall, it was fine but pricey for what and where it is. Torn between 3 and 4 stars, but will go 4 because the people were so nice. Hotel property-wise, it's a 3.

Our room was not in very good condition, as a matter of fact the Inn itself was in terrible condition. The rugs through out the Inn were absolutely disgusting, stained everywhere. All the screens on the windows in my room were ripped, making it hard to open the windows for fresh air. The shower had mold in it and all the light fixtures had bugs in them and I won't even get into the dust. Towels were a dingy grey color, just not a very good experience. The staff at the front desk were personable, but extremely slow and I found a lot of them to be on their cell phones. The pool and jacuzzi.... the only word that could possibly describe it is " deplorable"! I am not sure how people could have gone in. It is a shame to see this once beautiful Inn go down hill. I hope that they clean it up and do some renovation.

We had such a wonderful time in Ogunquit and our stay at the Colonial Inn! We visited in June 2025 for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The inn's location on Shore Road is perfect—easy to reach the charming town’s restaurants and shops, beach as well as Marginal Way all by foot. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The inn is very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. We appreciated the free breakfast each morning, which offered a nice variety including hard-boiled eggs, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, juices, muffins and bagels. In addition, coffee and water are available in the lobby 24/7, and the main area has plenty of seating along with games, a baby grand piano and even free ice cream and cookies! The front wrap around porch was so nice to eat outside or just relax on a rocking chair enjoying the grounds. The manager, Ashley, was especially welcoming and friendly, and the rest of the staff—Phillip at the front desk, Nathan in the breakfast room, and the cleaning and maintenance crews—were all so kind and helpful. Overall, our experience at the Colonial Inn was fantastic, and we look forward to returning!

We stayed here in June of 2025 for two nights. Our third floor, end of the hall room was spacious, clean and offered a fantastic view. The hotel staff was courteous every time we went in and out of the hotel and they maintained a line of communication via text message. The hotel is a short walk from marginal way, shopping and dining.

Great way to walk to the beach or down the marginal way. Room was comfy. The a/c smelled off. Breakfast on the porch is good. I like the fire pit at night. I’d stay there again.

Location is absolutely the best in the heart of town. Close access to marginal way, short walk to beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel is historically beautiful. However it is clearly poorly managed. Room was adequate at best. Fairly quiet. Wonky wifi service, bed was OK. Linens on the bed were low budget. Bathroom was ridiculous. Our room had a broken cracked cruddy old toilet seat. I've seen better in campground bathhouses. Shower water pressure was poor, shower had no lighting so you showered in the dark. Towels and washcloths were stained and worn looking. Bathroom floor was a cheap pergo floor, poorly installed at that. Chipped paint all over. Carpeting in room, halls, stairwell was stained all over. In our room there was a painting on the wall partially behind the dresser. Mini fridge door would hit the sloped floor so it could not be opened fully. Dresser had drink ring stains and spills on the glass top. The exterior of the property could be beautiful, but was poorly maintained. Parking was odd, poorly marked and poorly lit for evening navigating. This place touts itself as a premium hotel. It could be but not the way it's run. Staff were not very eager to help, if you could find someone. I walked by the front desk several times hearing a nonstop ringing phone. The attendant was out on the porch on a dinner break. If you enjoy feeling welcomed and spoiled a bit, look elsewhere. The staff make you feel invisible or worse like youre bothering them. The location can't be beat. Everything else here is low budget. Actually, we have stayed at many other places in town which were less expensive and run far better. Even their own sister hotel, a bit farther out of town was far superior in the care and staff friendliness. Maybe they can get some proper staffing and or management to correct the list of issues. Just because they're adjacent to luxury resorts in the prime location doesn't mean they can just assume they're premium. They've got a lot of work to do if they want people to come back.

Colonial Inn is a lovely place to stay. It was clean and the front desk ladies were helpful. I was however, very disappointed at the fact that the building lacked a ramp for getting up to the front desk/rooms. My husband is an amputee and we had a very hard time climbing up the stairs.

Tucked away in the charming Ogunquit Village, 2 Village Square Inn is a delightful bed and breakfast that perfectly blends comfort with style. With its cozy rooms offering stunning ocean views, guests can indulge in a relaxing getaway just steps from the beach and vibrant downtown area filled with shops and eateries. The inn boasts fantastic amenities such as a seasonal pool, hot tub, and on-site massage services to enhance your stay.
We couldn’t have had a better stay at Trident Inn! From check in, to check out- everything was beyond seamless and convenient! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful- the rooms are modern and coastal, the decor is light and airy. The pool area, restaurant, bar and front porch are all stunning! The views are spectacular. The food and drinks at Coastal Alchemist were top notch! But the service won us over! Aaron, Roy, Sydney, & all of the girls and staff were truly delightful and couldn’t have been more welcoming/helpful! Safe to say we have found our place in Ogunquit, we can’t wait to return!

We got married in Ogunquit and our families stayed at the Inn with us - everything was absolutely perfect. The Trident is not only gorgeous inside and out, but it has the most wonderful view of the beach and town. When I say the team is incredible, I truly mean it. Each person went so above and beyond to make our whole group feel so welcomed and taken care of. Mat helped us with amazing vendor recommendations, coordinating our whole trip, reservations, and so much more - completely outside of the scope of a normal hotel experience. To top it all off they hosted our cocktail hour and then our family dinner reception at the Coastal Alchemist. The food, cocktails, service, and special touches were unbelievable. To give a little context, I am a travel agent and work with hospitality professionals everyday, I would send any client here with confidence knowing they would have an exceptional time! The trident made our whole weekend unforgettable and we will be back!!!!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Trident Inn! All of the staff members we interacted with - MJ, Matt, and Aaron at the front desk, and Jimmy at the bar & restaurant - went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The view from the wraparound porch, of Ogunquit with the ocean in the background, was lovely. The hot tub also had a nice view of the fall foliage. We'd definitely go back.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Trident Inn late August 2025. The hotel was charming and the accommodations were very thoughtful. We stayed in room 4 and also room 10. Room 10 has our hearts. The view from the pillow is 10/10. The saltwater pool was comfy and quiet being adults preferred. Full service by the pool also a big plus. This made our anniversary trip perfect as we wanted to escape the sounds everyday life. The location was walkable to all shops and restaurants downtown and the alchemist was top notch. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful Inn with Exceptional Service!! MJ went above and beyond to make us feel special. We stayed in Room 10, the Ocean-view King Rm on the 3rd Floor (that's right- the 2-windowed dormer on the front of the Inn). Views were Spectacular! We watched the sun rise from our pillows, and generally kept our eyes on the ocean and town below! Things to keep in mind: 1. it is a Hike just to get up the steep driveway and steps to reception (don't be thinking about wearing fancy shoes or even sandals!), then up 2 more steep flights to get to the 3rd floor-- no elevator; 2. at arrival we were delighted to be greeted by MJ with a surprise frozen cocktail; 3. heated pool and hot tub have a variety of ample seating, free water bottles and towels, with cocktails available to order; 4. we were graciously invited to eat take-out from the village market at the high-tops on the porch or the dining tables by the pool; 5. there are white-noise machines in the rooms for snorers and traffic noise, but the wall AC/Heater was quite loud enough (and rattle-y)- there is no thermostat, so we had to guess what setting would keep us comfortable all night; 6. there could be more hooks in the bathroom- we had to hang the hand towel from the vanity door; 7. surface area in the room and bathroom were slim, so we moved our clothes into the nightstands and toiletries into the vanity- stashing our carry-ons out of the way; 8. bring an eye mask to block the light if you want to sleep past dawn- even with the shades and curtains drawn, our sunrise-facing room was Bright; 9. bring a nightlight for the bathroom; 10. we appreciated the phone chargers, coffee maker and refrigerator in the room; 11. there is also a common room on the 2nd floor with free yogurt, beautiful berries, and other help-yourself breakfast foods; 12. the comped breakfast down the hill at Crew begins at 8am and is delicious!

I had an amazing experience at the Trident Inn — everything about this place exceeded expectations. The location couldn’t be more central; it’s right in the heart of town, which made it easy to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. But honestly, you may not want to leave the property. From my room, I had beautiful views of the ocean! The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable (I actually slept better than I do at home), and the whole inn was spotless, including the room, common areas, and pool deck. The WiFi was strong and reliable, and the AC worked perfectly — small things, but they make a difference. The outdoor area is such a highlight. There are daybeds set up by the pool that are perfect for lounging with a drink or reading in the sun. The hot tub was a relaxing bonus, especially after a long day of walking around town. I was also blown away by the food at the restaurant — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place that’s just as good for a casual bite as it is for a nicer dinner. Lastly, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that guests were having a good stay. Highly recommend the Trident Inn — I’ll definitely be coming back.

Would recommend trident inn to everyone who wants a quaint, centrally located stay in Ogunquit so long as you can make it up the hill and stairs! The room was small but lovely, the hot tub and fire pit were perfect, we loved relaxing and drinking poolside! And you get $10 off breakfast at the Crew which is right at the foot of the hotel. Will definitely stay again!

Delightful unexpected experience at Trident Inn! Sweeping views of Atlantic from deck. Beautiful pool area with nice signature towels! Fabulous frozen drink. Loved our room, very nicely decorated .....private unattached bathroom in hallway but doable! Great staff, immaculately clean. Enjoyable breakfast. Looking forward to going again!
