I’ve been coming to this place since the early 90s with my family. It’s still amazing. Best place for shopping.

Got harassed and followed to my car by 2 security officers for taking a photo of the water where the restaurants are. I was filmed on their body cam and saw them noting down my rego as i was entering the car. I only took a photo to show my significant other because I’m from out of town. A lot of others were too but I was singled out. A respectful talk saying that photography wasnt allowed would have been better, but the way i was treated was like i was shoplifting or being a criminal. Wouldn’t recommend going here (Attached are the 3 “illegal” photos i took. Can’t believe that I was treated like this for these)

Im a man, I don’t love shopping. I have been in many countries around the 🌍 world. But sunshine plaza have something special, that’s why I spend lots of time here and I buy all what I need for home, for me and sometimes for my work in this amazing shopping centre. Many shops around, we were looking for a place to eat and found Grill’d and Yochi for a well-deserved yoghurt dessert after our meal.

I’m not usually someone who enjoys shopping, but Sunshine Plaza has completely changed that for me. The atmosphere is so open, vibrant, and relaxed that it never feels like your typical crowded shopping centre. The beautiful river running through the middle, the lush greenery, and the breezy layout make it feel more like a resort than a mall. There’s an amazing mix of shops and plenty of quiet corners to sit, relax, or grab a coffee with a view. The centre is spotless, well laid out, and the staff are always friendly. Parking is easy, and there are great entertainment options like the cinema and paddle boats — perfect for a chill day out. Even as someone who usually dreads shopping trips, I actually look forward to coming here. Sunshine Plaza is a gem on the Sunshine Coast!

My son was standing in the supermarket trolley, and because of the momentum, he tumbled out of it. David, the cleaner who reacted extremely quickly, grabbed him just in time and prevented his head from hitting the ground. I’m very grateful for his sense of responsibility and his amazing reflexes. This also reminded us that letting children stand in supermarket trolleys is very dangerous.

A fabulous family friendly shopping, entertainment, food and beverage destination. A massive variety of large and small independent stores and eateries, offering everything you could possibly want. Lots of parking (first 3 hours are free). There are cinemas; boat rides for the children on the internal/external canal/river. Loads of restaurants / cafes, popular pop up's, for every desired taste, with food from around the world and several are licensed venues. Enjoy a couple of hours, or the whole day. The centre has a number of toilets placed at various levels, which are clean and well maintained. There are multiple escalators and lifts well positioned. An information booth for any queries.

Lovely beach, found a cute little crab and called him Jerry! Definitely recommend.

The group is went with all had a good time here the only problem was the wind was a bit to strong that it picked up the sand and felt like a million little pinches on our legs.

Holiday destination must! Check out everyone photos, it's exactly the same in real life. Really friendly locals. Nice to see a place that depicts our national anthem, haven't seen many places like this in current years.

The beach is just beautiful,i really enjoyed my time there collecting shells and took some back to Cairns. Its so beautiful, enjoyed surfing and waves so amazing

What can I say? The whole beach from Maroochydore thru Alexandra Headland to Mooloolaba is gorgeous. The water is always warm and you can find a suitable area for all the family - even on a rough day, the eastern end of the beach is calm (near the Mooloolaba Spit Rock Wall).

Just beautiful and I was worried to take mum as she's I'll but we had our fish n chips like we did years ago.. everyone was social distancing .. it was good to see

The island is okay with access via the single bridge from Bradman Ave. There's a small playground, a few beaches, and plenty of fishing spots on the island. Aside from a few picnic spots and BBQ areas, not a huge else to explore. The Conservation Reserve was pleasant although quite limited, especially with tidal times.

Very chilled little island that is a top spot to cast a line or have a picnic. Has a playground and toilets. Plenty of room to spread out.

Excelent place to enjoy the beach with little kids. The depth of the water is very low and you can walk to the middle of the waterway. There's a kids area, BBQs and toilets. Definitely a great place to enjoy a sunny Sunday with the whole family.

Chambers Island is a lovely retreat for family gatherings and for the casual fisherman. My advice is for families to grab some hot chips at the store across the road from the bridge to Chambers Island and enjoy some time playing on the cool pirate ship and swings. There are some showers too if you fancy a swim in the river.

Love this place for an arvo dip. So peaceful. We often pop down and have a good old chat while lazing about in the calm river water.

Great place for the kids, fishing, swimming, park and clean public toilets even bring your dog.

Great venue for quality music, with good service and variety of drinks. The only downside is when it's over crowded, and the toilets definitely need some attention.

Solbar recently hosted the inimitable and always massively entertaining Amigo The Devil, performing the first of his Aussie shows. Needless to say, bye-bye work and hello Sunny Coast! I was blessed to stay in Alex Headlands so was a mere 7kms from the venue. Solbar was easy to find, but parking was trickier. Plenty of roadside spaces but not a single one free. I found one around the corner, leaving me with a short walk back. The venue itself was cool; a nice ambience, tables filled with eager punters awaiting the show, beer flowing freely, and what may or may not have been an open-mic session providing entertainment up front. From there, when the time arrived, we headed through a door and into the rear stage area. A nice open space, with merch stand to the left and bar to the right. A selection of tables and chairs allowed seating as well. (A big shout-out to the hubby and wife I met there, eager for the show but even more excited about the pending birth of their child, due the previous day! I hope you're enjoying every special moment). The stage is low and accessible, and I actually finished the evening up on it, filming from above and chatting to Dave Talley, the support artist. This added a level of intimacy and community not found in bigger venues. Sound was good too, not too loud or muffled. Overall, I really enjoyed both Solbar and the concert. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly, and there wasn't an ounce of negativity or trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

AMAZING FOOD - GREAT PRICES I ordered the lamb salad and they were kind enough to substitute the lamb for chicken. So much variety and flavours in the salad. Very impressed. We sat outside as there were 6 of us but the stools were a bit uncomfortable to sit on, so not ideal for older people who need chairs with a back. So when booking, request chairs with backs if you need them. I do recommend booking if it’s the weekend as they were incredibly busy and it was the middle of winter. They have gluten free options available and our friends shared a gf chicken pizza and said it was delicious. If you’re outside, wait for table service as it can take a while to be served at the bar inside. The toilets were quite cramped, and there were only 2 of them. But clean enough. Good prices, quick service, fab food. Can’t go wrong. The chairs and toilets were the only let downs.

We stopped here for a light meal before a gig in the excellent Solbar music venue (CW Stoneking - what an act). The chicken burger and pizza we had was delicious, well priced and the waiter made sure my annoying dietary needs were met. The food was fresh and I would eat there again for sure. Service etc was great and while it was a shitty rainy night the terrace was dry and a good place to catch up.

ive never tried the food here, but if it matches the service and the vibes then im sure it's pretty good. love coming here for comedy and live music, and all their other events

MUCH better music than the post office and others. Bit quiet, but the music makes up for it. The music is VERY loud and needs to be turned down slightly to match the other clubs, but it’s still definitely my preference out of the 4 main Ocean St club

Great as a venue for live music, small area for sets, generally pretty good sound system. Better than other spots for clubbing. Average priced drinks. Saw teen jesus and Jean teasers, grand time

Very picturesque park situated on the banks of Maroochy river. Has a variety of swings and playground for the kids and bbq facilities. Also has the war memorial which is very nice. Toilets and undercover picnic tables and bbq. There is also a public jetty available. The area can be quite busy on weekends so parking can be difficult. Play areas are not fenced off so watch little ones near the water and busy road. Close to cafes as well.

Great park, just next to water and having a good playground for kids too. Many people with different activities, e.g. jogging, fishing, boating, which makes the park very lively.

What a beautiful park to stroll on, on the other side a cross the road there cafes as well plenty to choose from. Quiet water for little kiddies to splash around. Rotary respectful 🙏 towards the Anzac. When it gets busy it's hard to find a parking. Pinics, BBQ area & play ground area. Ppl with special needs would be perfect for them as the water is flat & calming.

A beautiful spot for a picnic or a dip. Ideal spot for paddle boarding. There is an amenity block, picnic shelters and a playground, so it's a great spot for families. There is a 2 hour parking limit Monday to Sunday, 8:30am to 5pm.

Cool spot! Lots of open space, benches - uncovered or covered if you want. Parking was fine - might have been lucky though as it looked busy. Nice place for a morning stroll. It got quite busy as the day went on. Great 👍🏻

The family decided to have my Great grand daughters 3rd birthday party at this park...what a lovely setting beach front which the children all swam in.. a BBQ area, tables and forms where we all sat under the shade and had the party...lawn areas for children play ball.. footpaths for strolling along with your fur babies...A Fab day had by the whole family...we will be going again...thank you .⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff didn’t want to be there or at least that was the vibe they gave off which set the atmosphere Ordered a Granola Greek Yoghurt and had to search to make sure they had remembered to put the food in the bowl. Very small serve for $18. Coffee was terrible. Would highly recommend going anywhere else. Don’t waste your money

Aussie icon the coffee club. We love finding these cafes, the menu is big and has something for everyone. All day dining, hot & cold beverages and plenty of seating. The friendly team here seem happy and smiles all round. The service was quick and coffee ☕️ perfect temperature A secret most people don’t know is the Coffee Clubs VIP card. You get 2 4 1 coffees all day everyday! Plus there are specials that are sent out. The recent one was two for one burgers 🍔 The burgers were so good, we went back two nights in a row!

It was ok and quite busy. The staff were pleasant but like many cafes and coffee shops professional staff training is lacking. Things like ensuring tables are cleaned, dirty dishes removed from tables, unstable tablets fixed so that coffee doesn’t spill when placed in front of a customer. Not major stuff just small frustrations from a place that has a good location and reasonable food.

Disappointed! Nachos - chips were crumbled, meat was dry, not enough cheese and sauce - on the plus side the avocado was plenty, fresh and delicious. Salted caramel frappe - all ice and no flavour but the coffee. The only redeeming thjng was the Kids chicken nuggets and chips and milkshake - a winner with the kid. Cannot believe I paid so much for such poor quality food.

Food was great, the staff were o.k not terribly happy in their job, atmosphere is nice but in summer you just couldn't go there

Got told from the barista girl by an attitude that i was 4 min early to pick up my coffee when i only asked if it was ready as I might of missed it. The way she said it was so rude and unprofessional. Spoke to the manager and the manager was no better herself saying barista is under pressure . Well that is not my problem and not an excuse to treat a costumer this way. Everytime I have been to this place they never have a smile on their face. Hope you get new staff with great service and spirit!

I ordered the nachos and pistachio hot chocolate. Pulled pork was dry, not enough salsa & cheese. I took back the drink but the next one was no good. Hot chocolate didn't have hot chocolate flavour.
