Lugar lleno de historia, muy bien cuidado y con piezas que te hacen entender mucho mejor la cultura andina y todo lo que representa Machu Picchu. Las salas están bien organizadas y el recorrido se disfruta, sobre todo si te interesa la arqueología o querés conocer un poco más sobre el pasado de Perú.
Lo que más me gustó fue la colección de cerámicas y momias, realmente impresionante verlas tan de cerca. Hay explicaciones claras y guías que te pueden contar detalles que no aparecen en los carteles.
Recomiendo ir con tiempo, sin apuro. Subí algunas fotos y videos del lugar para que se vea lo interesante que es.

Ich war im Inka Museum am Samstagvormittag und es waren nicht so richtig viele Besucher da. Die Ausstellung im Obergeschoss ist teilweise etwas unordentlich und könnte besser beschriftet sein, man bekommt aber vieles aus der Inka Kultur zu sehen. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die Erklärung (und Vorführung) zu den Musikinstrumenten der Anden. Die berüchtigte Panflöte kam nur in der Nasca Kultur (die mit den riesigen Figuren in der Wüste) vor und wurde original aus Ton hergestellt. Die Inkas hatten Flöten, die teilweise auch in Tierfiguren aus Ton eingebaut waren.
Auch wenn die Ausstellung etwas chaotisch ist, lohnen sich die 20 Soles dafür.

It cost 20 Soles entrance fee you can only pay by cash and I did not like it I have been to many museums this one was just gray and boring considering the whole history and culture of the Incas. Likely one of the better museums in Cusco, covering the history of the city, the Incas, and the colonial period. Ticket is included in the Bileto Turistico. There are English translations for most exhibits and displays (which is not generally the case in Cusco...), although the translation is not perfect and the text is faded in some places. O Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Cusco é relativamente pequeno e conta com um acervo enxuto, mas ainda assim proporciona uma visita agradável. O grande destaque é o edifício histórico onde está instalado: um espaço muito bonito, que por si só já vale a visita.

An ok museum worth a visit if you've already purchased the Bileto Turistico and you've got half an hour to spare, but nowhere close to a must-do. A couple exhibit halls showcase some oil paintings of Cusco and of religious motifs. There's an inner courtyard with a large Inca medallion for photos and a few figurines in display cases. On the upper floor of the courtyard there's some more paintings and also displays of information for Cusco's "sister cities" around the world. Surprisingly, there's a sister city in North Korea (pictured), which we found quite amusing.

Cool museum experience but the chocolate cake is dry and tasted stale, the alfajores cookies with chocolate were also dry and tasted artificial. Very disappointing considering we’re in the factory where it’s supposed to be made fresh.

It's three rooms, one with a video exhibit in Spanish only, one with some historical black-and-white photos of Cusco, and one room packed with ugly display cases filled with random objects, dolls, and figurines. Absolutely fantastic tapestry art by Maximo Laura, who has been declared a UNESCO living monument. The museum is free to visit and also functions as a gallery with some of the tapestries for sale.
