Excellent stop for history buffs. We spent over two hours just to complete our self-guided tour of the landmarks in downtown Sonoma. Many more landmarks are nearby. Our visit coincided with nothing. We arrived on a weekday in Sept. and there was plenty of parking within two blocks. It may be jammed on a holiday or weekend. The exhibits and interpretations could be improved, but it is 2025. In fact, I was impressed with the attention to historical accuracy and honesty. It's quite reasonable for our time and place, and for an exhibit for the lay public. I would take small kids if I had any. I did have my adult daughter in tow. We will return next year. Staff was friendly and helpful. Admission was a nominal $3 per adult.

The wines are beautifully crafted, and we especially loved tasting Cline’s “Shifting Tides” — elegant, smooth, and full of character. But this place is so much more than just wine. First off, the view is absolutely beautiful and the lounge area we were seated was comfortable, sunny, and had a great vibe. All of the wines we tasted were wonderful and i would love to have again. Kenny G was the one helping us out and he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and overall a great host. His passion and love for the wines was evident. He gave us generous pours and even offered us more if our hearts desired. We ordered some tapas and it surprised me how high quality they were. I'm usually underwhelmed with the food at wineries but not here. We got the olives, pistachios, garlic mushrooms, patatas bravas, shrimp, duck leg confit, and the dessert platter. The olives were some of my favorite that i've had and the duck leg confit was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The dessert platter was the perfect way to end the tasting and really went well with the wines. Our whole group agreed at the end of our trip that this was our favorite of the wineries we visited. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this experience!

Cole was a gracious host, very knowledgeable about the wine and nailed our differences in taste, customizing our tastings with perfection. The food was delicious too! We shared the charcuterie board for 2 and an Italian sandwich on a fresh, soft ciabotta roll. The property and views were picturesque. And the music selection completed the ambiance with a relaxing and easy vibe. We could have spent all day there! We took home prosecco and their signature white. Our tasting room overlooked the vineyard and we were shown every aspect of the wine making process, including their custom aging caves, cement and wood barrels. We even got to watch some of the harvested grapes being processed since it was late September (they were delicious!). Patio seating was warm but had a lovely ambiance. The Winery tasting room was confusing to find since the winery seemed to be boasting 3 names—Highway 12, Highwayman, The Barn.
